Hey, cool. Cool background information in case you're new here. What are we doing today? Well, we're going to start with episode 33. We're going to go all the way to episode 39, which is movie night. Movie night. Which is typically the best night of the season. Yeah.

Typically. Typically. We'll hold our takes. The week of Casa Amor leading up to movie that's that's the sweet spot of the show a lot of pops off people get in trouble heads get turned drama ensues how did you feel about watching movie night this morning uh on the heels of a just super super stacked dinner at sammy's italian last night yeah hand up dave and i got into one last night we went to we went well too for that matter it will but he's not here we went to dinner

together sammy's italian and we kind of we kind of popped off a little bit so um we popped our bottle we had a bottle had some cocktails you had a glass of wine and then popped that ball you know my new rule i told you this i don't mix on weeknights i i try to stick to to one uh spirit or liquor finish it off with a little limoncello okay fuck i did mix limoncello although grappa is technically a wine and there is some grappa in that i whatever not important little cheesecake that the boys shared at the end it was mega cute cheesecake was delightful it was big big old slice did anybody order chicken piccata you did i did yeah a lot what did you think about that it was very good it was very good i i should have got that you got that uh i gotta say my lasagna give me that it wasn't that good it my lasagna was not very good.

I didn't want to, when you ordered it, you ordered it with such conviction that I didn't really want to be like, hey. I floated the idea out there to the table and Will said, Will backed it. Yeah, see. He said lasagna's really good and it wasn't. I'm sorry, man.

The place, the food there, it has disappointed me every single time I've been. It's a great spot. It's fun. Everything leading up to the main entrees were- The teasers were fantastic. The antipasti. Yes.

Fantastic. Anyway, it's still a fun place. I'd recommend going, but- Just burrata bread? Ooh, that burrata was fire. Let me think about that for a minute. Yeah. All right, yeah.

So we're going to close it down with movie night yes but that's not where we're gonna start but where we left off we uh casa had just begun we're in casa we're in casa you get um getting flirty vibes things things looking up for our guy mitch literally literally Literally me. Okay. Mitch is... I think Mitch is a handsome guy. He's in good shape. He might have some of the worst game I've ever seen on low violence. He's got no game. He does. He has to find somebody that's into the self-deprecating funny guy.

Because that's all he really has. And as he sits down with uh abby we get the thing that he said multiple times this season to multiple different women he's like well you know he he likes to do the who's your top three yeah it's a big he's like he wants to really like ask the bold questions right off the bat and then say describe your what are you into what kind of guy what's your type and then he likes to act like it's him. And she'll start describing the guy. He goes, you're literally describing me.

That's literally me. More importantly, though, I think we get the Molly-Zach dynamic. That's where we left off with, you know, Zach getting poured out, as it seemed. And now we finally get them sitting down and and talking through it i never really thought that was gonna be an issue molly didn't come back to just not rekindle things with zach yeah which is uh credit to mitchell for actually pointing that out to zach she didn't come back to argue with you she came back because she misses you and she wants

to get back together with you and she did she had to um she had to put on the front that she was angry with them that's the only place she had for moving on the front that she was angry with him. That's the only play she had. For moving on too quickly and trying to kiss Katie so soon after Molly left the villa, which is understandable. She played it the right way. We all knew that she was going to give eventually. And she even said, like, I can't let you kiss me right away. As he tried to kiss her.

Can't let you do that right away. You got to earn it. So props to Molly. She played it well and she got her man's back dave yeah um eventually they will go to the hideaway a few episodes later um i think she tried on every outfit good for her good for him i gotta say and i don't i normally don't look at the contestants of love island with through this lens but to to to get on my objectified bullshit real quick she's she's better look she's gotten hotter somehow in the i don't know four days she was away from the villa a week maybe

she had a glow up in that short amount of time don't know how it happened she had a spa day she came back she was like i i'm gonna i'm gonna make waves when i get back in there and then she she did she did she did she's gone up i believe i my my quote was half a point okay see i don't i don't really put girls on a scale like that i don't really rate girls like that i just think all women are beautiful in their own unique ways david so yeah that's a great but what do you like most about Molly? Like what? She's just, she's seemed like a sweet gal. I like that. She is a theater person.

That's a thespian, a thespian, a, a, a lady of Broadway. Potentially. I don't think she's never been to Broadway. I bet she's visited.

Maybe she's probably seen cats. Maybe. Um, we get Ella, Ella and uzi hitting off real nice still kind of weirds me out a little bit that they knew each other before that's my uzi by the way i just i shot an air uzi at the camera for some reason because his name's uzi yeah that's his name yeah um it i it it surprised me a little bit i know this happened on the bachelor sometimes but never to this extent where it's like oh yeah we met we you know met in the club we knew each other a little bit. I know this happened on The Bachelor sometimes, but never to this extent where it's like, oh yeah, we met.

We met in the club. We knew each other a little bit before. Producers did their homework? Yeah, they knew. Yeah, they knew that they... They're good. They would pluck this really tall, handsome model with green eyes that she knew previously

and put them in the villa. And it was going it was gonna make things happen and that's exactly what happened uh catherine and elam ellum elam i think i think they say ellum ellum got a little kiss yeah they clearly they clearly like each other a lot yeah yeah our boy scott's in trouble going down with a fight though he really seems to be into katherine like really does i mean obviously he stayed single waited for her you think so we'll get to that i get the vibe that he just is trying to stick around but not in like i think he's trying to save face not stick around for like fame he just i feel like he's trying to not look like a total mug and uh unfortunately i get the vibe he actually genuinely likes her it's literally him

my intel oh shit aka my sister tells me that the public the uk public the voting public over there they're big scott fans so do with that what you may i don't know what that means going forward we don't we didn't obviously with movie night we didn't have a recoupling nobody went home yet but i imagine someone's going home this weekend i haven't watched any after sun episodes i haven't seen any unseen bits episodes facts all i know is the regular episodes of scott and from what i can tell scott seems to be harmless enough nice enough guy doesn't have a huge personality but that's okay i think there is more to it than what i've seen on the episodes because everyone seems to have like a little thing against scott i don't i i can't quite figure it out yeah like they're not showing some of his bad his bad side or something i don't know what's going on there i just think he's a little

bit more mature and he's not like in the you know we had the bro crew last season you had casey tom and shack and this season it seems like it's you you know, now it's somehow Zach, Mitch, Sammy, and Ty. I'm really trying to figure out the dynamics. I'm really liking the guys more now than I was like the first couple weeks. But I just don't think he fits in with them that well. I don't know what it is. He doesn't seem like he's got a good sense of humor. Kind of a loner.

But as we learn, you don't test them don't test scott yeah we'll get to that he keeps that thing to that um not a whole lot else in that in that first uh episode 33 can we talk about amber real quick yeah amber who's 19 very cute young amber like amber seems like a really sweet girl find out her dad is uh dennis wise who you know tell us give us some fun facts about dennis wise go ahead buddy um midfielder uh good striker where who did he play for chelsea i i even will didn't know who this guy was to be fair he it was in like the very early 90s okay so apparently a famous ex uh soccer player played for chel Not the only 19-year-old we've had on the show whose dad is a famous former soccer player.

We've had Gemma Owen from a couple seasons ago. Oh, really? The newest season that you didn't watch, Gemma was on. Does Amber seem every bit of 19? Yeah. Not in that she's immature, but she looks young. She looks young. Right?

Yeah, she's young. She's cute. Compared to everybody in there? Yeah. Yeah. I like her. Yeah, she hasn't moved the needle a ton for me on the show, but I like her enough, yeah.

Which brings us to Sammy. Let's talk about the tyreek sammy conversation uh as we'll find out it didn't do ty a lot of favors uh on movie night and you knew this is this you knew exactly how movie night was going to play out when you saw him when you saw ty playing the role of all right i'm i'm not going to talk to any of these girls but i'm going to be the guy who really instigates i'm going to get these dudes i'm gonna get these dudes to get out there and do some snogging he was so aggressively instigating that it seemed like the producers pulled him aside and they're like look we need

shit to pop off in here i like how he said fuck jess we know now we know that you're closed off because you told ella that you're not interested in talking one so your role in here is going to be the instigator and you're going to try to get everyone to kiss. Please go do your job. That's what it seemed like, because it was so aggressive. He was like, no, why aren't you lipsing? Go lips. Go.

Go do it. Go lips Amber, and then go lips Gabby. Gabby. Go do it. And he did. And he did. He's like, fuck it. Did within like three minutes of each other, it seemed like.

It was like back to back. I think, jumping forward to movie night, And he did. He's like, fuck it. Did within like three minutes of each other, it seemed like. It was like back to back. I think, jumping forward to movie night, I think some of my favorite moments of this show are when the guys, watching the guys react to that. Because I like it when they are all very friendly, got their arms around each other, and they're cracking up. You can tell they're genuinely like, it's just a fun, that's a

fun element of friendship if that makes any sense like they're really like they know someone's getting smoked and it's just kind of funny and all you can do is laugh yeah although mitchell mitchell was going overboard with the reactions to his boys this is his move yeah he he pulls a shirt over his over his face it's like he made he made the things on that they were showing them seem worse than they actually were because the way he was reacting to them because boy next to him they're showing a clip of him like saying something that's nasty about you know the girl he was with whatever and he's just like no like freaking out like shut up yeah yeah anyway no he he definitely eggs it on a little bit.

Also, another Mitch moment that I found so annoying. Sorry, I know we drag Mitch a lot. Is when they got the text that there'd be a couple in the hideaway. He immediately stands up. He's like, Molly and Zach. Did you see that? Yeah, he rides for them a little too hard. It seems a little forced.

It's so forced. You don't want Zach and Molly to have a private night in the suite. He's still in love with Molly. You think so? Absolutely. Yeah. He would leave Abby for Molly, right? Yes, he would.

Okay. So you have Sammy kissing Amber. Then you have him six minutes later same spot bringing gabby in there um it's a lot for amber and i'm trying to think like how actually wrong that was it made her cry it did which made me feel bad yeah i don't like it when amber cries i don't like when anybody cries um but yeah do ty this is all ty i don't i really don't think this happens if it doesn't happen he doesn't go make out with both of them he's certainly convinced montel to go kiss um tink tink Tink. Tink. Yeah, Ty was on one, man. Even like Montel, when he got back to the villa, he told Leah, he's like, look, the guy's told me to do it.

She's like, I don't want to hear that. He shouldn't give that excuse, but then she saw it firsthand. Tyreek absolutely convinced him. Were you surprised, jumping forward again to movie night, because it all relates, Absolutely convinced. Were you surprised, jumping forward again to movie night, because it all relates, were you surprised that that's all that they showed with Montel was just under the covers making out and they didn't?

I thought maybe we would get not Tink coming back, but maybe a clip of her talking to the girls being like, I touched his willy. Okay. Whatever they call it. What do they call the penis over there? Give your best guess. Willy's probably good.

I don't know. I touched his dingus. You know the insult bellend? Have you seen that one? Yeah, bellend. You know what that means? The bellend of your pen 15? Yeah.

Yeah. Okay, movie night. What does that have to do with anything? Because you're talking about what they call it. Oh, okay. Yeah. Okay, movie night. What does that have to do with anything? Because you're talking about what they call... Oh, okay, yeah. Okay, it did. Movie night for Montel. They showed him and Tink under the covers very briefly.

Obviously, you don't know what goes on under there, so it's up to them to be truthful if they want to or not. Legitimately the same thing they showed Uzi and Ella doing. Yeah. And Tink, during the recoupling, she alluded to maybe maybe the more happened than just a kiss i thought that's why i thought we were gonna like he was gonna get real smoke like maybe they they did an interview with her afterward and they were gonna play it that

whole situation seemed to be just water under the bridge they didn't discuss it further but you're right sometimes if there's a little misunderstanding, they'll bring the girl back. Well, she probably hasn't left the island yet, right? They did this last season. Right. They do it a lot. So the girls will go off-site away from the villa and have a little conversation with each other.

And she'll be like, okay, tell me what actually happened. And then that can really throw a wrench in everything. Last season, it was our boy Will. Yeah. It was Will. Jess. Yeah. That one went much worse. throw a wrench yeah last season it was our boy will yeah it was well yes yeah that one was that one went much worse um so i guess nothing did happen because he no i admitted to the kiss why didn't why didn't i don't it seemed like he was being way too vague and like it almost seemed like he didn't expect it to come out like He was unfamiliar with what the show was all about

and what movie night was. Yeah. It was like, dude, are you surprised? You know they have cameras in there. Right. Why wouldn't you just tell her, look, yeah, we made out? That's not that big of a deal. That always blows my mind.

They know that this stuff's going to get back to the villa. Yeah. Everyone's going to see it. So when Tyreek is sitting there on the you know the day bed being like y'all need to go kiss these women right now yeah he knows that everyone is going to see that yes for now yeah like it always blows my mind also another thing they didn't do during casa more this season which they've done in the seasons that i've watched is while the villa and the cot and casa are

separated they'll swap pictures back and forth of like what's going on in there yeah so like someone leaning in for a kiss that's coupled up or whatever they'll show that and it'll just like change everything i don't know why they didn't do that it always creates a little extra drama maybe because molly was in the villa and they didn't want to show that part yeah but they didn't have to they could have shown other stuff i don't know yeah no that was interesting um we could talk ella and uzi and just their overall casa relationship i it did not shock me to see her walk out with uzi um one thing they did on uh the recoupling after Casa that I didn't,

I liked and I didn't like, it's weird. It's like, the way they would show the other girls who were already sitting out there, who knew what was about to happen when that person walked out, it gave it away. Even though I knew Ella was going to walk out with Uzi, you know, when they're all kind of looking down. Yeah, but they weren't all they weren't really surprises to us though we kind of knew what was going to happen yeah I guess uh Catherine and and um Elam we knew that was a thing we did for sure but with with Ella I was like and the way

they did it last like the drama the build-up you kind of knew and you knew Ty was getting set up to get smoked when Ty was sitting there just talking about how much he liked ella and he missing her and katie's looking down they're all like oh no whitney's face told the whole story too i think i think she was already out there by that point they're all like oh no this is not how much good how much is he to blame um for her doing that in your estimation as far as like his previous comments about missing the game and just his him being transparent about how many chicks he's hooked up with um i don't blame him at all and i say that because they both agreed that they were closed off which is which is another way that should end it another way of saying we're exclusive now yeah i i agree with that 100 i mean

yeah he like he's a fuck boy like he's a player. But he's also, what, like 22, 21? And for him to be like, all right, look, I've changed in here, and I really like you. I'm closed off. And she says, I'm closed off too. He fully expected her to walk back in there single. Or not single, but without another guy. Yeah, I had it completely wrong when week one I said,

I think we may have all been on board like oh yeah ty's the one who's getting his head turned and casa um it turns out the only thing he did bad was egg on the other dudes yeah turn their head which he did it quite well yeah real master of persuasion there but yeah ella and uzi clearly like each other didn't shock me she brought him back um only thing that did shock me was when she did come back with uzi how like it wasn't it wasn't like she waited to um express her sadness or whatever that ty was single or like that she wanted to be with ty express herself that she want to be back with ty it was like the fact that she did it like standing there as soon

as she got there and saw ty was staying by himself so it was immediate like uzi knew oh i'm getting i'm a mug now like i'm out it's never an easy situation when you're one of the guys making your way or girls making your way back into into the villa. Because you look like an asshole. Is he going to end up with Katie? But you've done nothing wrong. That's a mega hot couple. They alluded to that, or they talked. But obviously with movie night,

it kind of interrupted that whole dynamic. When two hot single people are in the same villa together, you're going to have conversations, and it could lead to more. I don't know. That'd be a hot couple. How did you feel about uh ty ella tyreek katie triangle in quotes okay when they so they first had all the single people go do like a little cocktail hour thing and in front of jess and in front of scott ty was just laying it on katie And I thought that was a big baller move.

I loved it. I never felt any of it was genuine, really. I felt it was genuine until they went back in the villa and he was just laying it on so thick around Ella. I was like, okay, dude, we all know what you're doing here. It was very clear what he was doing. And she was letting him do it. I thought she handled it pretty well. I don't know what she's supposed to do i don't either i'm

not blaming her because she's also single yeah and she had previously she said ty is her type she likes ty yeah um i think she handled it pretty well but he was clearly just trying to piss ella off which he did and he did which he did yeah yeah um did. Which he did. Yeah. Yeah. And then, of course, they end up getting back together. Yeah. Yeah, at the end of that one. Yeah. Casa for Ella didn't go as poorly as I thought it would.

I thought, or not Casa. Yeah, movie night. Movie night, yeah. I thought, I guess I just, I remembered her and Uzi. I thought it went, they were a lot more intimate. But she says they didn't even make out when they were under the sheets. and Uzi I thought it went they were a lot more intimate but she says they didn't even make out when they were under the sheets I believe

I believe it the way they that she and Uzi talked about it I believe it too but what I just

I don't know what were they doing he says that he kissed her on the cheek they're probably just talking giving her like a little goodnight kiss on the cheek or something

they both said the same their stories were aligned so okay hopefully that's that's what happened um since we're already kind of in uh movie night we gotta talk uh we talked montel leah yeah we need to talk about it um montel doesn't handle things very well like from like he's like we'll talk about it later type thing he i don't know if he fully um grasped we talked about him acting like he or putting out the vibe that he didn't know what movie night was or that that was about to happen or all that was

going to come back to bite him but he does not handle it well when leah he's just he's so calm and he's so low-key and so reserved about everything that he doesn't he doesn't speak up in the big moments when he probably should and she even said the same thing like at when they were after they had a few conversations back in the villa she's like i just want him to like do more like show me more because he's just he's just a smooth he's a cool character yeah you know he sitting back, yeah, we'll talk about it later. And he just doesn't really say a whole lot. I don't get the vibe that they're going to make it.

Yeah, I don't either. It sounds like the spark's not there anymore for her. She's losing a little faith in him at this point. Yeah. Which is a shame. She's, I like Leah a lot. Yeah. She's great. You know who doesn I like Leah a lot. Yeah. She's great.

You know who doesn't like Leah? Scott. Scott. So Scott's had a tough one. Scott's controversial. I think Scott, he doesn't have, he doesn't click with the guys like we said. But God, he looks like such a mug. he looks like such a mug in the katherine situation where it's like dude it's painful whenever you see him pull her after they get

back from casa it's just i can't even watch it because i know she's just doing it to be nice and it's clear it's so clear she's not into him anymore yeah at all maybe it never was i don't know he's a handsome guy but i feel i'm at the point now where i'm rooting for him because i'm just like i at least wanted to like not look like such a mug i just don't understand why he's he gets so much shit from everyone like that that's the part i don't understand like there's probably more that we're not seeing like i said earlier but he just everyone seems to have a little bit of a problem with him when he's and he's right leah hasn't really spoken up against anyone in the villa and she was quick to speak

up against scott during movie night and she kind of put him on front street saying like nobody wanted you or whatever which was a rude thing to say that was very mean are we sure that was leah who said it i know he thinks she did but i don't recall attributing it to one person i think it was leah okay i mean he was pretty sure she tried to she said when they pulled when he when she pulled him at the end that she didn't say that yeah i know but i thought she i thought she did too i don't know um but it wasn't 100 um yeah scott i can't i can't figure out why he's he's taking he's taking grenades so much he may not be there long but at least he um i hate that it was leah because i like leah but the fact that he um what was the line you've been here four

weeks and you hadn't said a word and now you're the spokesperson yeah which i have to say one of the most biting lines i've seen on this show yeah in reality tv honestly yeah she's been she has been really quiet she has been quiet she's had one-off conversations with everyone but she does she's not loud she doesn't speak up too much but she did during movie night does that potentially explain why she wasn't more of a hot commodity early on because i'm i think we talked about that like why are more guys not going after leah because she's very hot. Because she's what?

She's quiet and just keeps to herself? I'm wondering. I don't know. I don't know. Anyway. Yeah. The Scott thing. Scott, none of the girls like Scott.

I don't know how many of the guys are cool with Scott. Scott's probably gone. I don't see a scenario where a bombshell comes in catherine's very over scott at this that's not happening yeah he's not so sometimes producers i feel like we'll send bombshells in that are like they know that are going to go after one person i don't think they're going to save scott in that way because he's not he's not a compelling enough character on the show to give him that kind of treatment it sucks because they gave mitch that chance with abby they gave him like the the shot at redemption and mitch was objectively worse than scott on like the stuff he did as we found out oh the movie night was great it was great watching him

and sammy react to it was cracking me up the movie nights when they go back farther than casa i love it it's like okay they're about to show us some shit yeah and and mitch he he deserved that he deserved for everyone to see how those conversations went behind all their backs that the zach molly mitch stuff is so embarrassing it's so it's so bad why he thought that he could save molly and then be like uh look just between you and me everyone thinks that i did this for zach i did this for for me like i'm going to talk to you like secretly on the side why he thought that that would be kept a secret is beyond me it's so embarrassing beyond me almost as embarrassing as embarrassing as going on a paddleboard date and not being able to stand up on a paddleboard i have to confess i'm not good at those i i can't do them but i'm very unstable on a paddleboard i

don't know why so this is my time to stunt finally on this show about my athletic prowess i don't have a thick base i'm very good on a paddleboard really i'm yeah like i i'm man let's put this on my bragging montage. I'm a natural on a paddleboard. Yeah, I'm not. I don't know why. I just got up and it's fine. It's probably because I'm only 5'9".

But Mitch was terrible. Mitch was terrible. That was fun, though. That's a decent day. It's better than rollerblading. Yeah. Yeah. Where do we want to go from here?

We can talk more about Mitch's. I want to talk more about Mitch's movie night treatment. Okay. Are you surprised? Real quick, are you surprised that Zach and Sam have forgiven him and are boys with him, water under the bridge? I think Zach kind of feels bad for Mitchell him water under the bridge i think i think zach okay i think zach kind of feels bad for mitchell because he's such a and he knows that the whole world is seeing it i don't think he wants to pile on i think he's he likes him enough

he's like a little brother to him yeah he's like the annoying little brother it's like just pat him on the head and because he's he really is like harmless at the end of the day because no one takes him that seriously the girls certainly don't take him very seriously but he's just like all right let's just let's just be friendly i don't want to pour you out let's just be friendly and then once we're at off the show like we don't have to be boys anymore he just kind of feels bad for him i think that's the way i see it do you think abby's gonna get any ick if you will from uh from watching that because that i mean that's embarrassing ick, if you will, from watching that. Because, I mean, that's embarrassing. That's embarrassing if you're coupled up with a guy who did that.

Dude, he was doing the same shit. He did it to Molly, and he did it to Jess. Who else did he do it to? I thought it was just Molly and Jess. Oh, he had the conversation with Katie as well. Oh, he had to dry. He tried to snake his way in there with Katie too. He's a he's a snake katie made out like a bandit there was no movie did she have any movie night action no she didn't do anything she was chirping though she was chirping the boys from
