All right, we're back.
It's the circling back podcast.
Welcome to the show.
My name is Dave.
Very excited.
I'm sorry?
I'm very excited, too.
Okay.
My name is Dave.
Once again, we're going to try this again.
Kind of interrupted by this guy over here.
Cool shirt, Randy's here producing.
Hi, Dave.
Watched...
Not a new one, no.
No, no.
I've wanted this to play enough times.
I watched a movie, a very famous movie for the first time.
last night a little little spooky season adjacent and are you saving it for later
Halloween no no you heard this thing called silence of the lambs I have yeah I watched it last
night for the first time it was good a lot of pop culture references that I didn't really know that
were from that a lot that I knew that were like such as you're gonna hate this
it puts the lotion on the skin I thought that was some Joe Dirt
because they do that in Joe Dirt
I didn't know Joe Dirt was referring
it to that
I think that movie came out before you were born
Yeah
I'd fuck me
I didn't know that was it
Oh wait
Was she in great big
Doing the Buffalo Bill
creepy character man
Yeah
Does the talk
Yeah the talk
Yeah I didn't not know that
I was not ready for that
No the song
The iconic song goodbye horses
You know, Sir Anthony Hopkins, despite winning the Academy Award for his role as Hannibal Lictor's only in the movie for like sub five minutes.
Yeah, big part, but not much screen time.
I did at the end of the movie.
I had the thought, I'm like, man, if this was made today, they would just, there would be a sequel and a trilogy.
And they just would keep on just milking this cow for all its worth.
and then I looked up and then there was like two prime like spin-offs or like two TV
spin-offs in the past 15 years. I'm like, okay, yeah. Yeah. That sounds about right.
Didn't watch them. That is one that I believe I watched part of with my parents. And I was,
I think they realized I was obviously too young. I was probably like 10, 11. But when you got an older
sister who's 10 years or senior, you might get to watch some stuff you shouldn't see.
Yeah.
A number of Nightmare on Elm Streets, Halloweens, Friday the 13th, things of that nature.
So, well, thank you, Randall.
You're welcome.
Looking forward.
We've got spooky season later today.
Very little much.
I mean, it's the last one.
If you're watching this live and you have something you have not submitted, still got a couple
minutes, spooky at washammedy.com. I'll read them all. There's a good one in. I don't care if it goes
90 minutes. We'll do it. The guy who interrupted the show, Dylan Shivry's here. Yeah, that's me.
Oh, two things. First of all, I watched a scary movie for the first time last night,
to The Purge. I'd never seen that until last night. It's exactly like I imagined it to be.
It's fine. It wasn't great. It wasn't bad. It was fine. What's scary about it?
what's scary about it do you know the the concept of the perch yeah you know they're locked in their
house and uh law enforcement doesn't get to respond for 12 hours because everything is legal and
people are trying to break into their house and kill a homeless man that the son had let in
because they were trying to just kill homeless people for some reason because they're
terrible geez not the homeless people the guy right the people who are yeah thank you for
clarifying and so they were like trying to protect them and then so they became targeted
as well and it was a pretty scary secondly i've got to bring my halloween costume in so what i can do
i can go home during lunch grab it no big deal just kind of a hassle or i can run skelly back because
skelly's always here so do you guys have any thoughts on that maybe the chat has a thought on that
of course i was going to be omniman either way i'm a show in print so that's a wash if that's a factor for you
I don't know. I mean, whatever, look, if I had a, I'm going home as well for lunch to get my costume, also to eat.
If you, if you like the costume enough, you'll go home. You live, I mean, I don't want to docks you.
You probably live 15 to 17 minutes away. It's like 12. 12, even better.
It's like 12. There you go. Yeah. I'll probably do that. I want to wear it.
But as much as I love doing Skelly, it's not comfortable wearing that, that thing, that green suit,
Really puts a lot of work on a cool shirt Randy over there.
Is it a lot?
You do whatever you want to do.
I just got my first call that actually was labeled as telemarketer.
Randy's moved on from your Halloween costume.
I can tell he's really bothered about my situation.
I did not think that's what you got.
Yeah.
You got a telemarketing call.
Do you want to just answer it here on the show?
No, they're leaving a voicemail.
They'll probably be like two seconds long.
Michelle Tafoya has texted me again.
She's looking for some money.
I don't live in Minnesota or wherever you probably shouldn't give it to her I wouldn't
I you know I typically don't donate to anyone who is in the athlete in the sports world
turned politician I don't donate money to especially if they don't live in my state no offense
okay so that's just a rule I live by oh that's good but yeah it's like hey Michelle defoy here
I don't know who puts this on mark to share I don't think he's I think he's basically got that
See.
Who's the old Arkansas ball coach?
I always forget his name.
I'm sorry.
I don't know.
Sure you do.
Hold on.
No, I don't.
I would love to help you.
It's going to bother you.
It's going to look it up.
He's going to look it up.
Tommy Tuberville.
Thank you.
Tough Knuckles?
Oh, Auburn, not Arkansas.
Right.
Auburn.
That's why you were confused.
My bad.
Here's the real question.
Cincinnati as well.
Yeah.
Have you watched a single episode of Invincible yet?
Or are you going to?
No.
I haven't.
Maybe I will during my lunch break.
You got to watch the last episode of season one.
Okay.
That's what I've told you.
That's the only thing you do.
Does you really show out?
It's pretty much just a giant fight, like, the whole time.
Sick.
So you'll, you'll.
Does he have a tagline?
No.
Not really.
Okay.
I mean, there's memes about him.
Right.
That's pretty much all you need.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You know, people don't watch podcasts or download them anymore.
They just watch the reels.
Well, you can just watch a show it through the memes.
Yeah.
That's how I do SpongeBob, except for my house now,
Rhodes become a SpongeBob kid, and I don't know...
I don't really know how I feel about it.
I'm going to do an Omni Man meme ready for this, right?
Look at what they need to mimic a fraction of our power.
That's one.
That's one.
That's all you need.
Okay.
I'll follow that one away.
Thank you, Randy.
You're welcome.

That's a lot.
If you're having a Halloween party and you got your friends coming over,
maybe people from the neighborhood, you don't know that well,
I think the best thing you can do is put on this podcast.
And then watch as they're listening to it,
see how they react to it, kind of stand over their shoulder.
It's a good move.
Subscribe on Spotify.

Feeling good.
They're glad to be back.
here's another one here's another omneman meme are you ready this is good are you ready ready
ready are you sure it's a good one you think you can handle that wow this guy has a deep bag
turns out the mark parks tell you to do this one was this a parks no uh there's a guy who works at
gold's gym he came up to me one day he said you look like omni man and i said i don't know who that is
so he's and he pulled it up on his phone i was like you know i do kind of like omni man
and I've heard that from at least one other person.
Damn.
And so I'm just going with it.
That happened to me recently.
And the guy's like, dude, you look like just a baby back bitch.
Yeah, really?
I was like, what?
I imagine you get that a lot.
And he was like, no, no, you really do.
And I was like, all right, well.
I need to get some, I need to get some, like, gray spray paint, like hair paint because
he's got, he's got, like, white walls.
Let's see what you got.
Take off that.
Yeah.
I mean, I got, I have some grays, but not like Omni Man.
you know what I mean?
I think it would work, but I had a guy come up to me
a gym, big, big guy, and I was like,
he's about to compliment me, he called me Beta Man.
I didn't like that at all.
Really?
Yeah.
I was like, what?
Beta Man.
Yeah.
The hell?
What?
What hell?
What?
What gym was this?
Planet Fitness.
I saw the long alarm after he did that.
Oh, yeah.
You do look like Omni Man.
Yeah.
Similar airline, too.
His is better, but similar.
Similar shape.
Man, you know what?
Something else happened to me.
I was at curves.
Yeah.
I haven't heard curves.
I was at curves.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And this woman came out to me and she's like, oh, my gosh.
You remind me of my ex-husband.
I was like, I do.
You showed me a picture of him.
Excuse my ignorance here.
What is curves?
This guy's never lifted at curves.
Wow.
Never lifted like curves.
After my Zoom.
It was.
After my Zumba class, this woman came up to me and said,
wait, aren't you that podcast producer from that podcast
about the mats fight and i went yes yes i am curves was a i don't know if it's defunct it was like a
safe it was like it was like it was a place like a gym for women my mom definitely oh yeah
like it was where they don't have to deal with uh guys in there no offense to dan but a bunch of
dan's in there you know good gym name dropping weights and being it was kind of a the concept
of what's is it planet fitness yeah the lung alarm yeah the lung alert but curves is like a safe gym for women
to not feel like they're being looked at and judged.
That's good.
Scumbag, man.
Yeah.
So shout to everybody out there at Curves.
Just getting after it.
Just getting after it.
Drop the bag.
What else?
Oh, yeah.
I mentioned listener voicemails.
Hit the Haas line.
877-352-4677.
That's the Haas line.
Leave us a voicemail.
We might play it on Friday and discuss it.
It would be a lot of fun.
We've got to figure out what we're going to do next week.
say we kick off next week our first post spooky with cold calls unless you want to do the game
show no no i'll wait for the uh no it says like you're ready let's do the game i'm definitely not
why why not because it takes many many hours to prepare that show jeez this guy we got adderall
do we allegedly no we don't somebody took it all i'll tell you what i'm taking all the poncho
outdoors oh yeah oh you got the you got the hoodie on different looks good at different today you are you are
I love this. I love this. Pancho outdoors. Look, what can we say that we haven't already said?
This is the lightweight hoodie. This is the thing I like to just wear around the house on weekends. I wear it to tea ball practice. I wear it to work. They've got the denim. They've got the Western inspired, never stiff built in stretch made for performance. I can't stop wearing the Westerns, man. They're great. Every time I step out, I'm trying to look dope. I'll wear a poncho Western. Pearl Snap button down. They're simply my.
favorite shirt right now simply i'll wear them year around although they they do kind of lend himself to
fall i feel like but i was wearing it all summer to well they got they got plenty of lightweight
options too for summertime they've even got flannel and corduroy here's the thing about the flannel
medium weight for durability stretchy and soft for all day comfort wicks moisture and dries fast
in the corduroy a lot of corduroy is not um the most comfortable poncho corduroy however is rugged but soft
kind of like dillon that's right worn in feel with a touch of stretch a tasteful amount of
of stretch.

We love poncho.
Huge fans.
Pat McAfee is
Charmin soft.
He is being called soft.
and he game day was at Utah and beautiful Salt Lake City Utah he he had some he had something to say during
game day um he made a comment about I love you Utah or he said something he said like I hope
I'm never back here again I'm never come I don't ever want to come back here kind of said it during
the broadcast yeah oh I missed that kind of in passing as well so something that happened during
the during game day you know
know they always do the fan kick it's called a kicking is easy as the fan kick challenge and
it started off as like a hundred thousand dollars it has grown over time and when they were in
provo for b yu they had a million dollar kick for one of the students there but then there were
two gentlemen in the crowd one of them was a billionaire i think i don't i don't forgot who it is and then
his super rich buddy and they also threw in a million dollars so this like a one-off there was a
three million dollar kick for the student and i think he hit it on a second try i think don't quote me on
that so a three million dollar kick again like i said it has grown from like a hundred thousand
five hundred thousand up to like you know million million plus now and so they're in utah and this kid
is offered a million dollars to make this field goal and the kid complained about it i mean here he is
like getting a chance to win a million dollars like just kicking a field goal and and mackafee i forgot what he said
but he gave a little snide, you know, common back.
Like, this kid doesn't even appreciate the fact that we're trying to give him $1 million.
A lot of money, even in today's...
Even in today's economy.
After taxes, I got to see what that boils down to.
Somebody get Blaine on the phone.
So that upset him a bit.
It annoyed him.
How did he do it?
I'm Pat.
And you're the kid.
He goes, oh, I think he said like, oh, just a million?
It wasn't like a...
Ingest.
Right.
It wasn't like he was like, you know, really going in on it.
But he was clearly like a little disappointed that his kick didn't compare to the BYU one.
The haters are in Pat's head.
Yeah.
He assumes anything like that is like he just takes it as like everything that's being said about him on Twitter on the internet.
And it's like that person represents those people.
So he felt he felt unappreciated.
I don't know who funds these kicks.
Is it just, is it just?
Um, I don't, I think he did.
Okay.
I don't know if it's ESPN.
I believe, I think Pat has said he is at least involved in, he's contributing.
I heard it's Saudi money.
Really?
Yeah.
Is that true?
I don't know.
You didn't really hear that, didn't really hear that.
I'm making a joke on a comedy podcast.
This guy jokes around too much.
I've got to do something about this guy.
Is he here every day?
The other thing that annoyed him, and this is what he's about to talk about in this clip,
but before he went out for game day, which starts, you know, pretty early in the morning,
I guess the official University of Utah Instagram account posted a clip of some student reporter
going around asking students who are in line to be on Game Day to do their best Pat McAfee impression.
Oh, I would have crushed it.
Have you seen this?
No.
Have you seen this?
Yes, have you?
I watched it yesterday, and I was astonished because I watched it after I saw this clip of Pat.
And I thought it was going to be...
He said that one of the kids calls him creepy.
that flat out does not happen.
Corny.
One of the kids says, like, you don't need to take your shirt off around us.
We're college kids.
He also said, the kid also was a Pat fan.
Clearly, he's like, Pat, love you, Pat.
But hey, man, you got to keep the shirt on.
Love you, bro.
Keep the shirt on.
We're college kids.
We don't need to see it.
And that, he interpreted as, oh, this kid's saying, I'm creepy around college kids.
He didn't actually use the word creepy.
This is how you know the haters and losers out there in Pat's head
because that is, like, the number one internet response to any.
anything, Pat McAfee on X. It's the, um, it's a chatterizing that, oh, my God, he took his shirt
off again. It's like what they do to Burt Kreischer. Yes. It's the same thing. They do it to Pat.
And Pat is probably aware that that's calling you creepy. That's not, that wasn't the kids in the
video. Oh, he's going to hate our thumbnail today then. He's not going to like AI Pat.
Play the, play the clear. This is him on the Pat McAfee show. I saw this before I saw the video,
too.
This college football season
Did not enjoy University of Utah
Did not enjoy it.
I think everybody
Can't about a thousand.
Yeah, it can't all be great.
Yeah, you're right.
I guess that is true.
You know why I didn't like it mostly?
Right before I go out there.
Pause it.
Right before I go out there.
What's this accent?
Is this his normal accent?
Sorry.
It's kind of, because you know,
if that'll hit you with that southern accent sometimes.
Is he kind of, is he a,
he sounded like he's from Philly to me.
It sounded like a Delco accent.
Yeah.
He does sound Delco.
I don't, he went to West Virginia.
I don't know if he's from that region.
I don't know.
He's from Pittsburgh.
Okay.
Okay.
That's right.
He's like a yinser guy.
I apologize.
I see the University of Utah's Instagram page.
Okay.
The universities, this is, this is our universe.
This is how we are.
They put out of each, do an impression of Pat McAfee.
And one kid goes, ah, he's corny.
Another kid calls me creepy.
Okay.
If these kids would have done it,
done this on their own blogs. All good. I mean, everybody's taking shots at me anyways for everything.
I get it. If the two ladies that were hosting that put that out on their own blog,
I'd be okay with it. Hey, you're allowed to do what you. The university puts that out.
Like, as I'm about to go out and do an infomercial for the place, and then I'm walking
in front of thousands of these people, this is how the university feels about it. It's an
uncomfortable feeling. I'm like, this is, you know, I'm getting a lot of shrapnel from a lot
of places. The university is putting this out. That is something I just had never experienced,
really, in my entire life. So it kind of sent me off a little bit. It made me feel a little bit weird,
I would say, made me feel a little bit weird. And then I thought to myself, has anything like
really scary happened at like a college gathering in the state of Utah recently? Like,
do we think we should be amplifying reasons for why people hate my guts as a university? I don't know.
So it was just, it was a lot of mixed feelings for me going.
Is he talking about Utah being like in and out of the JFFB3?
Like what is he talking about?
I see how your mind would go there.
It's just for fun, dude.
Believe it or not, Dave, he's referencing Charlie Kirk,
who was assassinated in the state of Utah over a year ago.
By the way, when he says this, my initial reaction is like,
that kind of sucks for him to like, you know,
these kids call them creepy and the school,
the official school account would post something like,
this and then we watch the clip.
Anyway, you can play a little bit more of this.
He goes on a little bit more.
What if we watch the clip?
Is that in here?
Yeah, it is.
I put it in here too.
I just watch the clip now?
Well, do this one.
I don't know what else he says about it.
I think he does some more Charlie Kirk stuff.
One out there.
And then obviously the kicker goes, only one million dollars.
Crazy.
Only one million dollars.
It's like, all right, I hate this place.
I hate this place.
They got a good football team, though.
They got a good football team.
But I've never been more uncomfortable.
honestly in my life walking in front of a group of people.
It's kind of crazy.
After watching their university
put out a box basically dog in the professional wrestling.
I saw a lot of people say they didn't even say anything that bad.
It was like, it's the university putting that out.
It's not like a blog.
It's an actual place.
So Pat's very active in the world of professional wrestling
as a heel character at times, correct?
So it's like you kind of understand.
Like he's played that role before many times.
Like he knows at times he's going to be the villain.
So it's just interesting that this would get
under his skin. Because he interpreted that. He's like, oh, okay, he did, this kid didn't say I'm
creepy, but that was what he was implying that, you know, taking your shirt off around college
kids is creepy as a, no, he's just saying they don't find that, that's not that funny to, as
you can see on, on X, everything happened. People are like, oh, that's not, that's maybe funny
at first, but like Pat, Pat's not like a great big fat guy who takes his shirt off and it's like,
oh, big fat guy's shirt off. It's like, no, Pat's actually, you know, he's a good shape.
It's not Chris Farley. Here I am like, correct. Like, kind of feeling for,
for the guy. Like you go out, you know, like he said, he's about to go out and, and give this
university a lot of shine. He's going to promote it. He's doing game day on the campus. It's a big
deal. And they're, you know, they're posting, you know, students taking shots at him.
And then I watched the actual clip he's talking about, which Rain is going to play for us.
Here it is.
I'd say like Pat McAmecum, he's going to say 40 lines. He's like, Houston, we got a problem.
For good.
I would actually spend my money.
on the odds at ripping the shirt on this point.
I'm not, so that's it, bro, Matt.
We love you, bro.
Keep your shirt on.
We don't care.
These are college kids, bro.
Like, keep your shirt on.
I don't know.
I can't do that.
Give me your best.
Okay.
That's it.
We love you, bro.
Keep your shirt on.
These are college kids.
These are college kids.
That's it.
If anything, if that was about me,
I would think that he was just trash in my body.
that's what Iowa thing is like
we don't need to see that
he called me a bag of milk or something
he watches this and his mind goes to
Charlie Kurt getting assassinated
in the state of Utah
and it did happen
it's like hold on
that did happen it did happen
circumstance is quite different I would say
Charlie did have some sports
takes did he
every now and then like he was a quarterback
that's true
there'll be like his his take on like
LeBron or something from like 2013
somebody will retweet it
and it like it's of course relevant to
today in some capacity
yeah no that's interesting
um
this is this is like if I read something
if somebody says something like oh dude Dave's doing
uh
Dave's doing Ted Cruz again or
well you know something and I'm like oh man I thought
that was good I thought people like that
and then I'm like why don't want to do it anymore
and now I'm going to be sad about it Dave's breaking his
draft again someone who's been in media
won that draft for as long as he's been in media not only that but like one of like the main
media personalities in this country at this point obviously especially in the sports world he has
seen so many comments that are just like much much much much worse than this for this to set him off
is bizarre to me i mean he's a polarizing figure that's we work in media obviously a much lower you know
our fan base that talk shit to us is much smaller than what he deals with he deals with much more
than we do. And if I see something like this directed at me, I'm like, that's absolutely nothing
compared to like what I've seen in the past, like nothing. I mean, people on the TFM comment section,
they tell me to kill myself every single day. They would drag my family into it. It was nasty.
This is so lighthearted and nothing. It's just bizarre that he responded the way he did.
Yeah, it makes me wonder if there was some other behind the scenes interaction with someone with the
university, you know, because it seems, it does seem personal.
He says, I hate, I hate this place. What?
Dude.
Utah, you've been to Salt Lake, right?
I have.
You've been to, yeah.
Beautiful place.
Beautiful.
Utah's beautiful.
And that's a team, that's a team that's been in and out of the fund decks.
It's a forward looking fun decks.
It's just like, hey, how much fun, just for fun, this is these big three teams.
And I don't know, to say that about a team that is kind of in the driver's seat for the
Big 12.
Yeah.
They are in the driver's seat for the Big 12.
Elsewhere in the Big 12, though, we've got Cody Campbell.
Of course, the, the oil tycoon billionaire mega donor for Texas Tech, very involved
in the Save College Sports Act.
Somebody trying to get past.
Protect college sports act.
Which I've been saying, man, after these last few crazy weekends of just, you know,
nonstop like crazy games and wild outcomes, somebody.
has got to protect this sport.
Ken Paxton campaign
supporter, donor
as well. Neither here nor
there. For sure. But
so Cody
Cody's a
if you follow college sports
you now know who he is. He put
tech on the map a couple
years ago. Of course
Texas Tech loses to Cincinnati
on Saturday.
The Soresby Bowl. The Brendan Sorsby Bowl to back that up.
Of course, Brandon Sorsby was a quarterback of Cincinnati.
and he hopped into the transfer portal,
transferred to tech, a bunch of money there,
and he was ruled ineligible, of course.
So the Soresby Bowl kind of is what we're calling it.
And Cincinnati won, pretty handily.
Well, I guess tech made it kind of close at the end there.
I lost by, I believe, nine or so.
Anyway, he tweets after the game.
This was on, yeah, this is on Saturday.
He said, there is no excuse or reason to lose a game like this.
We have to be better at Texas Tech football.
This is your guy.
Cody Campbell, the billionaire, he's like, he's, he is not the sole reason, but he's a major reason why tech has become suddenly really good because they have a loaded roster.
Very expensive roster. Very expensive roster. So he tweets that. And it rubs some fans the wrong way. There is a fellow named Brennan Riker. Brennan Riker is his bio says producer for the double T 973, which is a, it's a local radio station.
Lubbock Radio, yeah.
Always the producers.
It's a radio station, right?
He responds to Cody, he quote tweets Cody Campbell.
He says, for the sake of the program and fan base, just stop talking.
Please stop tweeting.
Cody Campbell sees this.
He responds, how about, quote unquote, for the sake of the program, everybody, and he tags at Texas Tech,
stops talking and doing interviews with double T-973.
And then he tags Robert Gio Venetti,
who's the senior associate AD external ops for Texas Tech.
I don't really know what that means.
So saying like, don't do interviews with this radio station.
Trying to pull the credential.
He's tagging like the influential people who make calls like this.
Honestly, I know.
I don't mean to defend this guy,
but if I'm spending all this money and someone tells me to shut up,
I'm like, no, I'm spending enough money.
Fuck you.
Like, I can say what I want.
There's punching down.
And then there's punching down to Brennan Riker, who has 232 followers on Twitter,
who was just like trying to, you know, trying to make his bone in media.
He's just getting his start.
And you're just going to try and just cancel him in the radio station?
Home of Mike and the Prairie Dog in the morning.
Am I going to try to ruin someone's career in life?
No, but like I am going to be.
like I'm spending a ton of money on this team.
I get to say wherever the fuck I want to fuck you.
So, yeah, I mean, I get, I get that point.
Like, he can respond.
I mean, like, Cody, I would not, I would not hold it against him because, like, the guy's telling you, shut up.
I would say, like, eat shit kid.
I wouldn't, I wouldn't try to get the shit canceled and tag the people who make calls on it.
Getting the credentials pulled, pull, excuse me, is crazy.
That's bad.
Also, but, like, there's a USA Today article, and it kind of is, it's, I think it's USA Today.
I read it earlier. I should know this.
Basically, like, yeah, he can do this.
This is like the modern college football is now.
It's a, you know, it is a professional league.
And Cody is kind of the owner of the team in many ways, right?
Sure.
And look at like, look how like the cowboy, like Jerry Jones after every game talking to the media.
Jerry Jones doesn't go tweet or anything.
But like, it's very similar.
It's like, yeah, he paid for it.
He's going to go give his thoughts.
I don't think it helps.
I don't think it's good.
If I'm a tech fan, and I think most tech fans,
that we know, we're like, oh, this isn't good.
You don't really want that person out there.
You don't want your guy out there.
Like, you didn't have to tag the football team on Twitter.
Like, they know they needed to win.
They should not have lost that game in their mind.
Right.
They're like, okay.
Yeah, this is not a good, not a good hell.
No, not at all.
But especially after last year, after all the stuff that happened with Soresby,
the shit Cody kind of talked about,
I don't know if it was directly at Cincinnati,
but just being like,
we're going to run up to score on big 12 teams, all that.
Didn't get that chance.
It looks very silly now after they go on the road and lose that game.
But yeah, I don't, I would not like this.
I don't know who my T state billionaire.
T state millionaire.
Pulling the fund in our program.
Surely there are millionaires.
There's definitely millionaires.
Sadly, not one yet.
But I would not, I don't like, I would not like it if they were very high profile interacting
with like politicians and people are now,
people are now mad at them for things that are not just football related.
They're looking at them for politics stuff and all that.
And then you go in and like hours after like the, you know,
the autopsy hasn't even been done yet on what happened in this game.
Why did our offense look so bad?
Right.
And you're tweeting like, we got to be better.
There's no reason or excuse to look like if I'm Joey McGuire.
Yeah, he's like, hey, this is in the locker.
I'm like, this is not good.
I got to go address the media.
We got to fix some problems on offense.
this is, you know, not a good loss.
Then he hops on Twitter.
Oh, it looks like the billionaire donor
who oversees the entire program
is chirping at me.
But thanks, dude.
If I was a billionaire donor,
is this what I would do?
If I was the billionaire donor for Texas State
and G.J. goes out San Diego State,
out San Diego way and blows a game
that you had in control.
Am I like, you know, an hour later popping off on Twitter?
Probably.
You probably had a few people.
I probably am.
If I'm like, you know, in charge of Texas and I see Sark keep on running the screenplay that never works, I'm probably going to pop off.
I get it.
Oh, man.
You're like, I like the high and offensive coordinator, you know.
This is an extreme punching downward.
It is.
But honestly, this might be the best thing for what's the station?
Uh, double T9.
7.3.
Double T9.73, homo Mike and the prairie dog in the morning.
But can you imagine me as?
a producer if i tweeted at like tim apple and then he like just like now we're gonna pull your
podcast i know he's not currently to see yeah yeah i'd be like dude he pulled our podcast yeah what do we do
now i wonder if this kid got a little slap on the wrist from the the the higher ups at that radio
station like don't don't chirp the billionaire you know he probably shouldn't have i let you know what
good good for speaking truth the power brennan here's a real question has he go pull up brennan's uh recent
Is he, has he, like, issued any kind of like, is he doubled down?
This is my question.
Is a cactus mafia with Brennan or is they against him?
I've seen a lot of, I've seen a lot of cactus emojis supporting Brennan.
I think OG, I think OG Lubbock people are familiar with this guy's radio station.
I figured he would have gotten more of more followers from this interaction.
How means he got?
He's stuck at 232, Dave.
I am also seeing other big 12 fan bases in Texas schools just absolutely pouncing on the situation.
So anyway, okay.
There it is.
We'll track it.
Damn.
Come on, man.
I miss back when like the billionaires is, you know, Boone Pickens era.
And, you know, he wasn't, man, was Boone like, was he out there, like, tweet and sent
a tweets about Gundy?
I don't think he was a big Twitter guy, was he?
He, remember he was?
Remember he tweeted Drake in like 2014?
And it was like a big deal because like, whoa, Boone Pickens just kind of stoning on Drake.
That was a weird thing that happened.
And that was like back in, that was like 15 years ago.
And I remember it was like a Boone Pickens just broke the internet.
That was probably a headline Dylan wrote.
I do not remember that.
Epic.
Epic Boone Pickens tweet.
This kid's young, too.
Yeah, look at it.
He's a baby.
He's a baby.
Love a Christian.
Shout out to LCU.
He's in the commas program there at tech, and he's just trying to, you know, make his way,
find his way in the media business.
Are we all?
Yeah.
Sheesh.
All right, we'll track this.
No, and I couldn't help but notice you brought your bench made knife again.
I don't know if you saw the text, but yours just arrived.
Here?
Yeah, buddy.
I love this thing.
That's a beautiful blade.
I'm going to look up the name of this.
particular model while you
continue with that read there, Dave.
The bench made station knife.
Mine just got here.
And here's the deal.
Did you know there's different,
all different types of stainless steel used in knife blades
and the quality of the blade is highly dependent
on the type of steel it's made of?
Me, being a guy who's kind of
not the most up and up on
knives and steel,
didn't know that the biggest difference
with the bench made station knife is that they use
the stainless steel called CPM 154.
CPM 154 is no.
is in the knife community, the circles I like to run in the knife community, for its toughness
and edge retention.
Do you notice that?
The edge retention?
Most kitchen knife companies don't want to use this steel because it's hard to manufacture
and expensive, but it also means you get a very strong, high-performance knife that holds
a sharper edge for a longer.
Look, man, I've had some dull knives in my day.
I have.
Not going to lie.
I've got one in my kitchen right now because my new benchmate knife just got here.
And I'm very, very excited.
Dylan, show them the handle, show them the blade.
How's it feel in your hand?
It feels fantastic.
It's got a nice weight to it, man.
I'm just ready to just get to chopping.
Benchmade knives are the hand assembled and sharpened by expert technicians in Oregon.
They make more than one million blades every year and have earned more than 50,000 five-star reviews.
Upgrade your kitchen with the benchmark, excuse me, the Benchmade Station Knife.
That's the Benchmade Station Knife at Benchmade.com.
That's benchmaid.com for premium knives built to last a lifetime.
After you purchase, they'll ask where you heard about them.
Please support the show.
Let them know we sent you with a circling back podcast.
They have some fun tactical knives as well.
Yeah, let's get it.
Including a switchblade called the infidel, which has my attention.
Okay.
It looks mean, dude.
Pocket knives.
They got some fun stuff, man.
Let's go, dude.
Yeah.
It's going on with Dan Orlovsky.
Dan Orlovsky.
Yeah.
We're talking ball without talking ball today.
Yeah, this is just, this is ball adjacent.
Sorry.
Again, he's on Pat McAfee's show.
And I don't know what preceded this conversation.
But Dan Orlovsky, and at the end of this, I might come to his defense a bit because I think he didn't quite articulate what he was trying to actually say.
More Pat, by the way.
But he's confused by the term percent.
and he just doesn't quite understand it.
And Randy, play this.
Do, can I ask you guys a question?
Yes.
No.
Great shot.
I think that went in.
Okay.
Hand a God, true story.
Do you guys know what percent, like the word percent is derived from?
Percentile?
Percentage.
What?
But from what?
Like, how come it's percent?
Pizzas.
Okay, so Hambo this morning was like,
Joe Burrow, his sack rate is 4%.
And I said, dumb this down for me.
Why, like, no human is going to hear me say that I'm going to make them smarter.
He goes, well, what do you mean?
I said, what does that actually mean?
He goes, well, out of every 100 dropbacks, he's getting sacked four times.
And I said, is that really what it is?
Like, it's always out of 100.
He's like per cent.
All right.
All right. Okay.
Oh, per centile?
Yeah.
No.
Centennial mark.
percent is 100.
You're a jackass, dude.
I knew one percent was out of a hundred, yeah.
Yeah, we all knew it was out of 100, yeah.
Yeah, I didn't know it was always out of 100.
It's 50 percent.
Holy shit.
Wait, why did you say?
And I didn't know.
Your whole life you've been playing quarters, did you go to school?
Did you have a grade?
25% of a game?
I didn't know it was.
Holy fuck.
You knew you knew per percent was per cent, like cent,
like cent meaning a hundredth century.
No, I don't think we knew the word broke down like that.
We all knew it was out of a hundred.
Yeah, I always thought like it could be a, uh, off.
What?
32.
88.
Yeah.
Like two out of three is yeah, 66%.
But if you, if you keep going, there is a hundred in there.
Damn.
Yeah.
Come on.
I was just, I did not, I did not know percent.
That's why it was broken down to me that way.
I love it to you.
I love that you can get on TV and say that now.
on NFL live.
I'm both
Fugge.
Okay.
If he truly didn't know
like what percent meant
like out of 100,
that's like,
hey,
you might want to like do fifth grade again.
I don't think,
I don't think that's quite what he's trying to say.
I think the word like
what it derives from
was the point he should have driven home there
as in sent like,
meaning like 100,
you know?
He never made the connection.
It was like,
oh, sanctuary or centile
I think that's what he was trying to relay, but he just kind of got caught up in the different part of the conversation.
That's the best way of looking at it.
And then the guy's like, what the fuck are you talking about?
How could you not know a percent is out of a hundred?
The boys back at the studio didn't like it.
But I think, I think like the actual term, he didn't know where it derived from.
And he just didn't know how to explain his point.
I don't know why I'm trying to defend Dan Orlovsky here, but I think that's what he's trying to say.
But so many people are like, dude, what?
But someone said you couldn't waterboard this out of me.
I think I understood what he was trying to say that like,
of course,
100% means complete,
like the fullest thing.
I think he might have understood that,
but I think he meant like,
like 4% means four out of every 100 plays.
Because like they even said,
25 out of 50 is 50%.
Yeah.
That like percentage does scale differently with whatever the top number is.
Maybe he didn't know both sides.
Reducing fractions,
things of that nature.
Yeah.
So like,
but I guess I never put together per centment,
per centile.
Like I never did.
I just heard the word.
But like I get zero to 100%.
But like that it's like he has what,
a thousand plays.
Four percent of that is in a hundred plays.
Like I understand what he was trying to say,
but then everyone else like did not like,
let him explain it.
He asked the guys on the show to like break it down for him like what that number means.
And he like he didn't quite understand it.
I don't,
I don't really know what he's,
what he's confused on exactly,
but I know that his,
his brain's in a prestle right now about percentage.
I'll be honest,
I don't feel good about any of this.
I think what he was trying to say is like,
when he hears a stat,
a stat that's like he has a 4% rate,
he wasn't equating that to out of every 100 plays.
Okay,
because he started the conversation off talking about, like, the term,
and like what,
what the actual term per space cent means.
And that's what,
That is what threw him off.
Either way, I don't...
I don't know, man.
This is, he's bold for bringing this to a live broadcast.
Maybe they needed Philis Seg.
Maybe they had an ad read that the guy forgot that they had a fourth read or something.
And it was like, oh, shit, we didn't have anything else on the running.
I was going to make myself look really dumb here for a minute.
I'm just going to, like, throw myself under the bus here.
And had my arms crossed the whole time.
And Pat's...
Pat doesn't, you know, I'll give this to Pat.
He doesn't really look like he's prepared for the segment.
He's just kind of like, we're doing this?
He's nice about it, but also, like you could tell, he's like, I want to kind of call you a dumb guy right now.
But I'm not really going to do it.
Oh, he kind of does.
He leaves his coat behind later in this clip, and he comes back to grab it.
And Pat's like, oh, it looks like he left behind 50% of your suit, which is a funny line.
Good line.
Yeah.
Good line.
So he dunks on him pretty good.
You know, I don't, this happened.
Where did this happen?
This is in Philadelphia from under.
Yeah, clearly.
Philly? Yeah. This is in Philly. This is in Philly. Man. Oh. Interesting to make that kind of
joke given like what happened in Philly in the last 100 years. That's a good point. A lot of bad.
I don't understand this because I always give 110 percent. So I don't even know what this means.
That's impossible to give 110 percent. Maybe for you, not for me. Because if you give 100, you give
110 percent of what was previously your 100, that you maxed out at 100 again. So that is,
it's called pushing past your limits. That is your new 100 percent. Yeah.
Dude, I just keep it a Honda.
I keep it straight up 100%.
That's facts, though.
Hondo P.
Shout out Dan Orlovsky, man.
Okay.
Okay.
I hope Mario didn't spin out on that banana peel he threw at the very beginning.
Was that what that was?
Yeah, it's banana peel.
You know where that originated, actually.
Banana peel?
Yeah, you know, people actually did.
Randy, you probably don't know this.
Actually, it's one of my favorite fun facts.
Remind me the fun fact.
Fun fact is that that was like cartoons slipping on banana peels was like a real problem back in like the 1930s or 19 something.
Whenever bananas first came to America and all the cobblestone, people were just littering banana peels and people were actually slipping on them.
So much so that Teddy Roosevelt when he was a police commissioner, Roosevelt was a police commissioner of New York had to issue a citywide ordinance being like, hey, if you see people littering these banana peels,
like you have to charge them because this is becoming like a public safety concern.
When I was in school, there was this family that they were driving this remote area,
like kind of cliffside and they actually drove over Manate Appeal and their car slipped.
Whoa.
And just veered off and went right off this cliff and they all died.
Were they like a cool family that like really were beloved by the community?
They were kind of nice to everybody and they were kind of just jerks to people for like no reason.
Never punched down.
Yeah it was we weren't really sad to see this whole.
family die. That's kind of crazy. Yeah, I know. Do they like, I don't know, put some, like stuff
your locker with stuff or? Yeah. Did you go the same high school I did? Did they have a tagline?
They did. Whoa. Interesting. I wish my family had a tagline. You can come up with one. Rough and rowdy.
Rough and ready. That's not. We're not going to do that. We won't. We're not going to have it. I actually
take that out of the show. We're not going to have a tagline. This is a live show.
Hey, life's rough around here, and that's the way we like it.
That's what you should have.
Yeah, I'm going to put that on my lakehouse.
Yeah.
Roughen it.
I hate it.
I love it.
Banana peels.
It's a good fun fact, Randall.
Thank you.
I don't know, man.
I just, I don't know if I believe that there are that many people slipping on them.
Why don't they just avoid them?
because just as much as everyone has their faces in their phones todays back then they all had their faces in the newspaper
they're walking so they're walking on the cobblestone roads reading a newspaper is just slipping on banana peels
that's pretty much and they got so bad the roosevelt was like yo we got to something like
yeah because bananas were new back then people were just having bananas bananas were new
yeah to america yo this new fruits just drop there's all gonna love it potassium like
Damn, son. What did you find this fruit?
If you want to go down a dark rabbit hole, go through the banana trade and the U.S. has everything for you.
It's a price. You didn't know that.
By the way, you don't like coups?
Banas are basically free.
Just buy them every time you're at the store. They're basically free.
You're stealing bananas?
You get like seven bananas for $1.10.
You about Banana Republics?
Yeah.
A lot of CIA overthrowing, you know, some South American countries and stuff.
Some corrupt shit.
There's a lot of stuff with the banana trade.
You're not based.
No, you're based.
Did you know the key to getting rid of fruit flies or preventing them?
This is a true story.
You know, you buy the bushel bananas that we're calling them.
You know the point where they all meet and you grab it by and they're all hanging down.
That part, it looks like a big, big stem.
That's where the fruit flies lay their eggs.
Get a knife for some scissies.
Snip it off.
I don't snip it off to the point to where they all, like, separate.
Just snip that top part off.
If there's fruit fly eggs, they're going to be in that part.
When you separate a banana from its stem, though, it starts to, it goes, it gets bad quicker.
Right.
Don't separate it from the stem.
Okay.
Just snip the top layer off.
I come home with bananas from the store, and Chelsea's like, we already had some.
Yeah.
Like, you didn't need to get seven more.
I'm like, Chelsea, they're basically free.
What's the problem?
That's what I tell.
Wow.
What does that set you back?
A dollar 10.
I only had one banana left and I put in the bowl.
And Megan told me, don't put other fruit by the bananas in the bowl because it's
goes bad quicker. I went, what?
Like, yeah, look at this side. And I'm like, oh,
I did not know that. Do like 80 cents a pound.
There's been two fun facts that I've given the show today that are both from
Instagram and Instagram,
and Instagram,
reels that I've been served. And I'm pretty sure they're accurate, but I'm not 100%.
That's a good, that's a good pro tip.
If you notice, sometimes a gas station,
when you go in, you know, some gas stations will inexplicably have, like,
fruit by the checkout.
And like, yeah, I mean, I know it's fruit, but they'll have foil over
the stem of the banana and that's why that's why how about that man yeah people in the chat are also
talking about all their banana facts too really any good ones uh i mean i knew that this about the
cavendish used to be the old banana i think you knew that too that's sure banana flavoring like
really came from those a different uh a different species i guess a different uh whatever probably genus
but then a fungus came through and killed all of them and oh man there's still some
CIA out there. Private owners have some so you can still get them.
You get black market ones?
Yeah, you can get black market ones.
But now we have the Gross Michelle.
That's the ones that we all eat every day, the Gross Michelle.
These are private bananas.
That's what they used to call my girlfriend, Michelle.
What's Michelle?
Gross Michelle.
It's not true.
I've never dated to Michelle.
That's what the Orange Man would call Michelle Tofoya if he got crossways with her.
Gross Michelle.
Yeah, and you'd be like, okay.
She's just gross.
Actually, not that funny, but.
She's gross.
You said it.
We hate her.
Oh, here we go.
Maybe it's ghost Michelle.
We hate her.
She's gross.
What?
It might be ghost, Michelle.
That changes,
now we already did the thing.
We already did it.
We already did it.
Stupid jokes.
Someone also says that bananas is why we have cruise ships, too.
I don't know about that.
Someone said there's a good podcast about it.
Let me know what podcast that is.
Cruise ships?
Cruise ships.
Yeah.
Cruise ships.
Oh.
We can't grow them here, right?
In the U.S.?
I don't fucking know, dude.
Think about how cheap they are and how far they have to go.
to get here it's like nice for everything to be so cheap for you this is impressive though
just still so cheap this guy can buy all the bananas this is this exactly what how i found out
about the bananas was a from a meme that was like a pairs that were grown in argentina and like
packed in china and then sold in america it's like well holl they're traveling a lot yeah they got
come a long way randy make sure if you go to a game you randy will tell you there's a
QR code on the screen you have to get it and have all the rules for banana ball for banana ball okay
That's helpful.
It is helpful.
Yeah.
Randy's like, dude, you gotta see these rules.
And you know what?
They were helpful.
Yeah, they were helpful.
The chat, Maya got me wrong.
It might be flipped with, you know, the Cavendish was the old one.
If Cody Campbell's watching, will you please just, we just destroy Randy on Twitter?
He's producing the show.
He's giving us bad intel from the chat today.
Hey, how about we don't listen to circling back anymore?
He tags Spotify.
That would suck.
Take these fuckers down.
We were defending him.
People were coming at me saying I was supported by big oil money.
Are you?
Don't say.
I wasn't defending him.
You were.
I know.
That's what I'm saying.
But the chat turned on me.
Hey,
if big oil money wants to give me money.
I love oil.
For defending Cody Campbell?
Just in general.
Ooh.
That was my ankle.
That was my ankle dog.
A little podcast leg pop.
Yeah.
A little extra pop.

All right.
You had a proud dad segment yesterday.
I got a proud dad segment today.
Today at school is a big one for Parks.
Parks is my 11-year-old son.
For those who don't know, he's in sixth grade.
Love the kid.
Great kid.
He's growing up, all right?
He's, like I said, in middle school now.
He's living that middle school lifestyle.
Oof.
Don't miss those days.
Three times in his young life, he has told me
about crushes that he has, all right?
He had a crush in fourth grade.
He had a crush in fifth grade, two different gals.
Pleaia.
About three weeks ago, he lets me know that there is a young lady in his theater class.
It's kind of gotten his attention a little bit.
I won't say her name.
Good.
He said she's got dirty blonde hair and she's real cute.
And she's funny.
All right?
That's all I know about her.
So he's telling me this and a couple weeks ago or we're actually on a walk, Chelsea Parks and I were talking about school and this girl.
And he's like, yeah, dad, she actually, in his math class, she has the same math teacher, but a different period.
And on the board, they have all the students' birthdays listed.
All right.
In Parks and Dad, she remembered my, she looked at the board and she remembered what my birthday is.
And she told me in class, in theater class, which is a different one.
I was like, oh, okay.
Maybe she likes you too.
I don't know.
He's like, I don't know, maybe.
Now, he's shy kid.
Fast forward to like three days ago.
He's like, dad, something else happened.
We left class.
They left theater class together.
And he's walking in the hall kind of in front of her.
And she walks up with her hair clip and puts it in his hair, you know, super flirtatiously.
I was like, dog.
I'm pretty sure she's got a crush on you too.
He's like, you think?
He's getting all excited, you know.
Fast forward, this was three days ago.
Fast forward to yesterday, I pick him up for baseball practice.
And before I get there, his mom texts me, she says,
Mark says something he wants to tell you when you arrive.
I said, okay.
So I pull up.
I said, your mom says you had something to tell me.
Grinned ear to ear.
His mom's grin.
I'm like, all right, this is definitely good news.
Let's hear it.
apparently this young lady
via her friend because you know in middle school
you can't ask these things directly.
Yeah, middleman.
Yeah.
Middle woman.
He was in math class with
math class the last period of the day
with this young lady's friend
and she said, by the way,
I won't say your name.
She wants to know if you want to date.
And they did this in class, not over AIM?
in class.
Whoa.
And so I'm like, dude, apparently he told his boys after class, after school, and they were like,
let's go.
You're like gassing him up.
They're all excited for him.
So what did you tell her?
Like, what did you say?
He goes, I said, I'll let you know tomorrow.
Yeah, you got to think about it.
He's going to let her know today at school.
I'm like sitting over here on pins and needles.
I can't wait to find out how this goes.
How do you let her know?
As soon as you're out of class, out of school, you better text me.
You better call me.
I want to know how this went down.
Is he going to do, is he going to employ the same middle person?
Or is he going to write a note?
I don't know.
Or are you going to walk up, straight up?
He was telling me he's undecided.
Like, dude, what do you talk?
You're not going to say no.
Like, you like this girl.
You're not going to say no, right?
And his mom's like, maybe because they all have iPads, you know.
And they text each other.
There's like a kid messaging thing.
And he's like, maybe I should just get her number first and we just like talk a little bit.
I was like, you could do that.
But I think she kind of wants an answer.
Also, there's a little.
There's a dance Friday.
There's a school dance Friday.
A sock hop?
And I think the timing of her asking him out is no coincidence here.
I think that was very much, let's lock this down before this dance Friday.
You remember when this happened for you the first time.
This is a core memory type stuff.
Like this is a big moment in a young kid's life.
I'm so excited for him.
Also, she's got phenomenal taste in dudes, must say.
Parks is an absolute catch.
Yeah.
Handsome, polite, young man.
Interesting.
Got a good baseball swing, you know.
Man, that's...
Isn't this exciting?
I'm very interested to see what he chooses.
Kind of hanging on here.
I think it was a pretty suave move to be like,
I'll let you know tomorrow.
Yeah, we'll see.
Plus, he's going to see her before he sees the friend
because he has last period with the friend
who relayed the message to him.
So he's going to see, he might be in class with her right now.
we speak. So he's got to, he's got to confront her at some point before he sees the friend.
It's, it might be going down right now. He might be getting his little first little girlfriend.
Well, let's, don't teach him that dance movie did at the roller rink.
No, no, no, I've never, I've never showed him that one. Yeah. Man, I had a, I, I often tell
him about my first girlfriend, which was in fifth grade, and we didn't talk. We didn't, didn't,
not one word exchange until, until we finally broke up. Sometimes I think about that. Because I was
terrified. I had the same situation because I dated a girl was in a different in fifth grade or
six grade. It was using a different cluster. So you know you have like clusters. Well, we had them
at our middle school or whatever. Okay. So you got like three classrooms in each cluster.
Basically just halls with. And she was in a different one. My,
my best friend was in hers. And he was like our back and forth with the notes. I think we talked
on the phone like a handful of times. Yeah. I don't think I ever interacted face to face out there.
No, no.
I probably did one of these.
So, oh, I got a goal.
My mom's picking me up today like she does every day.
You walk home, she walked home.
You're cool.
You walk home.
You weren't a bus, kid?
No.
Whoa.
But you know, he's just got to be like, he's got all the warm and fuzzies going on right now.
That's a good feeling, man.
To know that the girl you have a crush on likes you back.
Like, that's, that's, that's peak fun.
We'll see about it, you know.
He's just like, ah, we'll let you know tomorrow.
For sure.
I really, I really appreciate you telling me that.
She probably definitely.
He can't act too uninterested or she's going to be like, oh, he doesn't like me.
She probably put her head down the pillow last night, just like, what's going through
Parks' head right now?
Why is he leaving me out here just wondering, you know, just making her think about it.
It's good move, buddy.
Man, how do the dances work these days?
Is it like you take a date or is it?
Because our dances growing up were never take a date.
No.
It was just like go and, you know, if you get somebody there, you're like a group of boys on one side and girls on the other.
So nothing's changed.
Like one, one girl or one guy will get, you know, get the courage to go ask someone to dance.
And then it's like, oh, my God, look, Dave's dancing out there with Rebecca.
Me and my friends are like making fun of the guy like, this loser's dancing.
This guy's trying something.
Meanwhile, he's getting attention from a chick.
It's like, yeah, and we're not.
Look at you over there, buddy.
We're going to talk about Fortnite and Farts or whatever.
We're going to go home and play Mortal Kombat.
I can't believe it, dude.
He's interacting with women.
I can't imagine him actually, like, asking her to dance, though.
Like, that's bold.
I mean, 11 years old.
Like, it takes a lot of courage to do that.
But it would be awesome if he did.
She might, I mean, she seems to be the aggressor here.
Maybe she asked him to dance.
Man.
You guys are so old.
What?
Back in middle school dance, it was weird.
A lot of people in the chat can agree.
Back when I was in middle school dances, people were doing grind trains.
Oh, very weird.
Randy, we were freaking too.
Oh, you were?
Oh, okay.
Now you're freaking.
I think we invented the freak dance.
No.
We were freaky dancing way before.
We were freaked dancing.
I do look back and thinking like, what the chaperones doing just letting a bunch of like,
14-year-olds and like, we just didn't know how to dance.
It's like, all right.
You don't ask somebody to freak.
Yeah, you know, you just kind of let it happen.
Might as well just rub our groins together.
I don't know what to do here.
No, they were, I've got memories like the assistant principals walking through.
And like their face was just like, hey, y'all, uh, y'all, y'all get,
bit some space between each other.
Like, come on.
Everyone was, everyone was dancing like that, even though it felt inappropriate.
It's like, I don't know what else to do.
But our dances were now, like, we never were like asking people like, yeah, you want to go to the seventh grade dance together.
It was just like, you show up.
It was to high school, yeah.
Yeah, you just show up and you see your crush there.
And then you maybe you talk to her, but you probably don't.
Yeah.
Maybe you drink some ever clear in a sunny and a light bottle before you go.
Dan, we were hitting the soldier boy.
I was going to go. I'm joking.
That was four high school football games.
I can't believe Rani thought they were freaking dancing and we weren't.
Come on, dude.
I don't know.
Dude, I was hitting that Tootsie roll like crazy.
You were hitting the Kwan, too.
I remember.
That was much later.
It was much later.
Dylan was doing the jitterbug.
Come on, you want to dad, babe.
I don't know why is Tarrison and Philip.
