All right, we're back.
Circle them back podcast Tuesday morning.
Hello everyone.
Welcome to the show.
What's so funny?
James really did send me a calendar invite to Squabble.
He sent me a calendar invite to fight him.
So I'm gonna, I just responded yes.
So I got a calendar.
Anyway, I'm going to fight.
Where? What's the location?
Let me see. I didn't really notice.
Let's see here.
Squabbles.
But you're one of those people who will accept yes, like no matter what, just to like leave the possibility open.
It says parking lot.
It doesn't specify which.
So I feel like that's important information.
This is happening today at 11 a.m.
Wait, that's right now.
Is he out there?
Is he outside?
Jake's outside.
I don't think so.
You did put him on front street.
Yeah.
I mean, I had to.
He was having, um, dueling conversations with you and I, um, about two different things.
You was about Texas football and to me it was about lioness, which I have gotten them into.
Apparently he's got time today to just fuck around.
He's got a, he's got a case of the fuck arounds.
Yeah.
Speaking of, Randall Trebaki.
Hi, Dave.
I'm sure all those texts were in one big paragraph.
Dude.
I can't.
I can't.
know the way he texts me i mean it's they're just lined up it's ridiculous one text text
and four texts anyway it's gonna be a good show all right yeah what's that what does that mean when
somebody texts in that fashion um it's kind of i don't know girls do it sometimes like it's a girls do it
sauce does it i do it from time to time i guess it's like more of a i have a
this thought, but then this thought, then this thought.
It drives me crazy.
There's a literary, not really a device, but like a thought when you're writing, you don't want
big, bulky paragraphs.
You lose people like that.
So I think people kind of take that and apply it to their texts.
But it only makes sense if you've completed thought A and then you jump into thought B.
Or if there's like a transition sentence, you know what I mean?
like if you properly ended the first text,
then maybe you can jump into another one.
I would take two,
I would take two three-line texts over one six-line bulky text.
Oh, not me.
Give it all to me.
You're going to lose people.
I agree with day.
It spikes my cortisol, man, telling you,
if I'm on my phone and I see notification, notification,
notification, like four line up,
and it's just one message from somebody,
It stresses me out.
I don't know what stresses me out.
If I open one message and it's page long,
that that will spike your cortisol right there.
It's like, what's all this about?
No, son.
That's too much information.
Nah, son.
Yeah, you do kind of,
you are kind of siding with the people who send like the,
the people who like,
they'll send like the bulky thing.
And it's just like, you're asking for,
I'm not reading all that,
but I'm sorry or happy for you.
Yeah, you send that to me.
I'm sending you a game of a,
ball right away.
Oh, what?
That might be a little too young reference for you guys.
A game of eight ball?
Yeah.
There's a little I-Message games that you could play.
Eight ball is the billiards one, and it became a big meme of when people were like,
where I was set, someone just say, like, I don't care, would just send like eight ball.
Like, let's play a game.
Speaking of eight ball, was more on that later.
That's true.
Dylan Shivery.
Pretty stoked to be here.
Just sitting here in my rowback polo, which we, uh,
I guess it wasn't part of the show yet.
Could I talk about Roebuck right now?
Can just do it?
You can do whatever you want, man.
We both have Roebuck polos on.
And if you use promo code Lutes 20 at checkout,
you too can get your Roebuck gear at 20% off,
which is really exciting, actually.
They have game day stuff, man.
They have hoodies and polos and all kinds of fun stuff.
Go check those out.
Polo for every occasion.
The all-active short, best short in the game.
The looper shorts, man.
Go to on the golf course.
Yeah.
Facts.
The reason James was texting me is because Texas left tackle Trevor Goosby went down with the knee injury last night.
And it had my attention all morning.
And then Pete Thammel reported that it was a bone bruise.
So it's not a torn ACL.
He will be out for some time, though.
It's still a pretty serious injury.
What's his name Trevor?
Goosby.
Is he a corn fed-ass white boy?
No. He's a large black man.
His brother, five-star point guard, is going to be a freshman on the Texas basketball team this year.
I bruised my bone.
It just sounds, a bone bruise sounds like a little kid injury.
But it's pretty serious.
Sure.
You never had your bone bruise.
I probably have.
You probably cry like a little bitch if it happened.
I probably have.
James did.
James did.
We saw.
Well, we tried to see.
Yeah.
let's just bring them in right now randy open the door james i think he's still in the parking
come on the parking lot you're late he doesn't come up here anymore yeah what's his problem he's he's
gainfully employed but still yeah all our friends all our friends that we like uh having pop in
dan and sauce they all have like jobs so they don't pop in anymore which is good and bad
good that they are collecting a paycheck bad and they don't they don't
we don't see them as much.
Probably good for you because you don't get your ass whipped.
Does Dave hate that people are employed?
I think I made it pretty clear.
I do miss sauce being in here, man.
He brings good energy.
He's good energy until it's Thursday and you're having to grind out a blog.
And he's like talking to you about stuff.
And you're saying, uh-huh.
You're talking about a movie that comes out in eight months.
You're just, you're just writing typing away on your keyboard.
And you're just like, come on, man.
man. Oh, later today, it's going to be Dylan. It's going to be Dave. It's going to be Will to
freeze. We are doing circling back on touching base. We're going to relive some of the finer
moments in our early podcast history. We know, if you're new here, you probably don't know
this. We've been doing this almost a decade, if not a decade. When it will be the one year,
the 10 year anniversary? We should probably look that up. Probably next spring.
It just passed.
Oh, really?
In March, it was 10 years.
Yeah.
Where does the time go?
Small world.
Crazy.
Time.
It's on my side.
Yes, it is.
I thought you might go hooty there.
How's that one?
It starts out the same way, but then it goes,
why you follow me?
What's the time marches on one?
Who's that?
Tracy Lawrence.
Tracy Lawrence. I should have done that one because time, it would have been more fitting.
Time marches on.
It's a good song.
Yeah.
Anyway, what were we doing? Promoting the Patreon.
You could check that pot out. It'll drop later this afternoon.
It's going to be a really good one. It's always good. What is it exactly?
Well, we just kind of get in here and because we don't pod with Will that often.
We just kind of talk about stuff for 20 minutes and just riff, no running.
And then we'd listen to some old audio and just talk about it and relive some of the finer moments.
in podcast history.
It's a little slice of Americana, some are saying.
Yeah, we have some pool talk today,
diving board specifically,
and maybe a little next door app discussion,
some neighbor etiquette.
Is this the time I posted something
and got zero action on it?
No.
That was a major L.
Well, would you like, what's this snake?
No, it was what's this spider?
Oh, okay.
You were close.
I was like, what the fuck is this spider?
And nobody said shit.
It was like, eh.
There's got a day or not.
You got Google, right?
Don't you have Google?
That was before Google lens.
These kids these days can just pocodex anything now.
It's amazing.

Anything else?
I'm just ready to talk cocaine, man.
Not do it.
Talk it.
We've got a story.
This is one of those things that we've been tagged in a lot.
Yeah.
If this story would have hit in 2012, I would have said, first of all,
Opa Gangnam style, and then I would have gone straight to the keyboard and written up a long article about it.
Is this one that you would take?
I would have taken the reins on this one.
uh and back okay if i'm thinking about tfm era bloggers who i would want to cover the story you're
definitely on the list i'm almost thinking bush is up there too push would have knocked it out of the
park kind of want to see what bush could put together yeah uh we know dan crushes we know harrison
somehow makes us into five pages he would have like he would have got 480 000 page use
off of just this little news story yeah you would have a slideshow of images or something it would
work too.
Game system.
Big things are
happening at Penn State.
Let me put this differently.
Sad things are happening at Penn
State.
Crazy things are happening at Penn State.
Cocaine, fraternities,
things like that.
Where did they fall on the top 25?
Do they get any votes?
Ooh, let's look it up.
AP poll.
Pittsburgh Man accused of leading cocaine trafficking
ring involving two Penn State
fraternities.
Of course, cocaine is a drug.
It's a felony.
And it's something that I just don't mess with.
18.
They are ranked 18th in the 8P poll.
Texas is clocking at number five, since I know that you are wondering.
Dude, it literally can't get here soon enough.
It's like next week or something.
Hold on, hold on, hold on.
Purdue getting some votes.
Purdue.
Probably not.
Oh, wait, never mind.
They're not on here.
I was going to say.
It's not fucking nice.
I'm sorry.
I don't know.
We've been dealing with people.
Oh,
oh no,
it hurts so bad.
I take it back.
Because if you done that about Texas,
I probably would have been annoyed with you.
I'm sorry that I did that.
Well,
you're a Texas fan now.
Let me send you an invite for the parking lot.
Something's having it.
Okay.
Can you do it after 12?
Because I got a podcast to do.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Yeah, you didn't even check your schedule.
You just did it for immediately right now.
On Monday, Pennsylvania, AG, Dave Sunday.
All right, hold on.
This is a serious story.
On Monday, Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday.
That's a sick name, dude.
Announced charges against 14 people accused in connection with a cocaine trafficking ring
that reportedly involved two Penn State fraternities.
Which ones?
Syma Kai and Delta, Deltu, Deltos.
Frat.
I can only assume they're top tier.
Sigma Kai, not on campus.
So they were just doing off-campus.
shit, which you might expect something like this to come from an off-campus
fraternity. You know, they kind of play by their own rules. They clearly have been doing
some things to get kicked off in the first place. Kind of have a, what are they going to do,
kick us off mindset, you know? What are they going to do, kick us off? What are they going to do
charges with multiple felonies? The answer is yes. Yes. That is what they will do.
That's what's going to happen. Investigators identified two alleged leaders of the operation,
Augustino Abatello of Westbury, New York, and Thomas Michael,
Robinson of Pittsburgh Sunday says the two made regular trips to Philadelphia and New York for
quote large quantities of cocaine I'll say that again for quote large quantities of cocaine
Dylan are you going to ask me how much is a large quantity of cocaine no I was just going to say like
I mean we're nostalgic and you're always saying may I'd love to go back to school and do some
does this make you I really want to go back do it all again no no you know what here's a true story
I never once saw anyone doing cocaine in college.
I don't know where I was hanging out with, like, the squares.
You were hanging out with the doors.
I was hanging out with the boners, but I never saw anyone pull out of a bag, ever.
Yeah, I only saw it.
I've only heard about it once in our house.
And everyone was like, why the fuck you guys doing cocaine?
No, you guys are in the cool fraternities.
I mean, like, there was some drug houses, but I didn't think it was a big out.
And get that out of here, guys.
Your charter pulled.
Molly was really big when I was in college.
People were doing a lot of Molly.
So I never saw anybody do it.
I just smelled it.
One non...
Oh, he's going to take a sip.
Pregnant pause.
Go ahead.
One non-student was charged.
Paul Robinson.
Wait a minute.
Who is Thomas Robinson's father.
He was accused of helping conceal evidence by providing a safe where drugs and cash were hidden.
Man.
That's sick.
They must have been making serious coin.
Crazy cheddar, yo.
Okay, so...
I think they're making Sears bag.
Selling bag to chase bag?
I'm just wondering, like, do you think they were really stacking it like that?
So there's a pledge element to this, right?
Yeah.
They're making pledges sell it.
Allegedly.
Okay.
Well, I think the pledges were being forced to cut it up.
Aw.
Bag it up.
You understand that process of cutting cocaine?
Aw.
No.
Wait.
I'm just trying to think of, like...
in a movie when you see like a factory of like a bunch of people just they're all naked like an
american gangster yeah they're just yeah and they're just cut just naked pledges cutting it up
you cut it and measure it and then that cut it up mix it with something cut it with some
baking soda or something to uh let you sell more of it from us affects the purity did you
did you get pops done and cocaine this is what happens when you stop traditional hazing
yeah like in my day i do push-ups and hold up the wall
Are you upset?
We didn't check it for Fent first.
Oh, no.
Oh, no.
Are you going to jail?
Did you do a numbing?
It's just going to ruin your life?
Did you do a little numbingy, little numster?
Is this going on your permanent work?
You haven't swept in 72 hours?
From the cocaine or from just being forced to stay up?
Good question.
Yeah.
That's the thing where it's like they start doing, like, dipping into their own supply.
Of course, it's a rule.
We don't do that.
You don't do that.
But it's also like, well,
fuck we're getting our shit hazed like
I'm not allowed to sleep
you guys have told me I can't sleep
because it's hell weak so am I supposed
to not do the cocaine like what's going on
here's what I'm wondering I'm wondering if this
was simply like part of the pledge
process like see if we can get these guys to do that
or if they were actually trying to organize
like a criminal
outfit here and make a bunch
of money for the chapter or something
you know what I mean like
what was the what was the intended purpose of this
just a pure typically people try to make money
when they deal.
Right.
But like to make the pledges do it,
it's like, man, this is going to be
a pledged ship of a life.
Well, it's free labor.
It's not very American thing.
It is.
Gosh, you guys fucked up again.
You didn't get your Sigs.
So now you got to go sell some Coke.
Which one.
You got to get, you know.
Fawks didn't bring a bag to the library.
You got to drive to Philadelphia.
You got to acquire large amounts of cocaine.
Okay.
You got to bring it back here.
And then we got to cut it up
and we're going to distribute it.
that's that's your punishment worst pledge class ever like look we don't want to do this to you guys
but like we need to make sure that you are ready to be part of our fraternity i miss when it was just
like required that pledges bring girls to to like intermural games and stuff yeah bring some
bring some chicks bring two chicks that was a thing two chicks kind of embarrassing to admit that
um it's the only way we could get chicks to show up yeah facts make the pledges
round them up.
I'm surprised this, they got away with this for so long.
It feels like this is one of those things where, you know who famously doesn't keep a
secret?
A pledge class.
Oh.
You know, you know who pledges love to tell, like, details of what the shit they're
supposed to do?
They love to tell, like, girls that, how bad it is.
Like, can you imagine?
Oh, my God, you look terrible.
What are you been doing?
It's like, yeah, it's fucking hell weak.
I hadn't sloped.
Or it's like, yeah, it's like, yeah, there's.
I was up late.
Trafficking cocaine.
Yeah.
Could you imagine if one of the brothers found out, like from a Fimeo that one of the pledges
were talking about their co-coring?
Oh, dude, they'd be so fucked.
So fucked.
The brothers.
That's like when you're a motherfucking frat star.
The brothers.
I guess we call them the actives.
Okay.
I don't know why that it's a cringe.
It is.
You're the king of Fred.
I know.
So you should take what I'm saying to heart.
Oh, shit.
Decree from the top.
You have direct access to the king of frat,
and I'm telling you right now that it's cringe
to call them the brothers.
Heavy as the HUD.
Dude, we got some good brothers.
That's, really?
Dude, brothers for life.
Yeah, that's what it goes.
That ruined it for a lot.
There's probably a number of people out there that that ruined.
That was, I was closest to quitting right there,
and it was night one.
It was literally bed night.
I, like, accepted my, accepted the bed,
And then we went to like some, we made like a big bonfire somewhere and we were passing around, you know, like Southern comfort or some, some bad whiskey or whatever.
And this dude, I won't say his name.
But he was, we weren't friends.
Like, we weren't friends.
Even when we were pledging together.
He's actually in the parking lot waiting on you.
He was like, he, to be fair, he had been drinking, but he was, he just stood next to me, shoulder to shoulder.
He was like, dude, we're brothers for life.
it's like man we're not
I don't even like you
this is why Dylan Dylan's anti-male friendship right there
that's no I'm just anti-crinship
I don't know if we're doing
crinship
crinship okay
hold on I'm trying to think of a way this sticks
yeah I got a cringhip with him
brothers for life
yeah that's that's embarrassing
do you think he woke up the next day like
oh god
no I hope everybody
didn't do anything weird. I hope I didn't say brothers for life to anybody. He was pretty much a
boner throughout the entirety of me knowing him. What's he doing now? I don't know. I'm going
up. Others charge include three alleged drug dealers and eight current or former students.
Penn State, man. You know, they kind of pop onto the radar every now and then with some
real heaters, some major scandies. Yeah. Looks like he's got a family. He's got
Four kids.
Judging by his Instagram picture.
Okay.
That's all I got.
Good for him.
Family for live.
These are my kids for live.
Oh, you got a lawyer up?
Did they read you your moanda whites?
Did they give you a mewanda warning?
Are you looking at multiple years in the penitentiary?
Oh, no.
Did you have to testify to turn state witness?
Are you going to make new brothers in jail?
No, that you're losing all these brothers?
That's really tough.
It's tough.
I can't really, if you wrote a movie and it was like, it's a college movie, it's like a dark
comedy where they make you, these fraternity, they're low on money and they have to like raise
money, otherwise they're going to lose their house. So they start dealing drugs, okay?
And they make the pledges do this stuff in the basement, allegedly. And you're like,
that's so fucking dumb. No one is as stupid to do that. And they did it. And it seems like they may have
gotten away with it for a couple years.
One of the guys is on the run, by the way.
He's on the lamb.
He's on the lam. He's on the lam.
Is he really?
Yeah, I wouldn't make that up.
That's sick. It's bad journalism.
God. That's sick.
Yick yak at Penn State would be going nuts right now if it was still a thing.
That'd be so much fun.
I would love to know how good their parties were.
Yeah, I think they're pretty good.
You'd hope, yeah.
Yeah.
Or were they like, did they go the other way with it?
it's like no fucking we don't want to any heat they weren't smart enough to say we don't want any
heat no drugs we don't want to even give off the vibe that we might have like an eight ball in the
house yeah let alone or many eight balls much more than that like uh 80 balls what's a big like a brick
big old brick of cocaine you understand yeah moving bricks kilos state to state i just call them keys
bro. Yeah. Yeah.
You think the punishment
when they got popped was they had to take their pants
off and run around the house while the guys just paddled
their bare bottoms. Probably. You think there was a guy in like
chapter meetings like, all right, VR's new business.
Hey, I understand that we're running like a drug
operation, like a major, major drug. In addition to like putting us all
at the risk of
violence and
it's just wrong.
It's also putting us in a lot of
a lot of heat on the chapter.
We could get our charter pulled.
Like, dude, we're never,
like, we've been trying to get Zeta
to do a mixer with us for like two years now.
And like, if they get wind of this,
there's no chance.
Okay.
So I was saying, I think it's a bad idea.
Just want to say it's a bad idea.
Oh, boo, fuck you.
Oh, yeah, okay.
I guess, all right, look, guys, I don't know.
GDI. Why am I paying dues when you guys are bringing in like 200K just from moving bricks?
Like, do I need to pay dues? And like, what happens if like we rob? Like, what if we,
we go sell on the wrong turf, you know? Like, we don't, what are we going to do? They know where we live.
That's in play. We all live in the same house. We're all at risk here.
Pull up the house, by the way.
Wait, did you really deal-
Sigma-Ki, Penn State? Did you really deal cocaine wearing our letters? That's what I heard.
that's rule number one yeah leave the letters at home when you're moving wait it's kind of a dope house
oh shit that's real sick so like they're gone they'll be kicked off they were already kicked off
the other one too like you think like five years from now it's like some guys are like hey we're
trying to get this fraternity like re-chartered again on this campus we're trying to get them
going again and like during rush like you might have read the news in the last few years
You might have seen us and think, wow, these are the guys who do the cocaine.
We're past that.
We don't do that anymore.
That was a long time ago.
We're all about philanthropy and being like good, good gentlemen.
We've won flag football intramural two years in a row, so we got a lot of, you know.
We have a solid 2.8 GPA across the board.
It's pretty good.
I mean, something tells me that they, like, are never going to be a house at Penn State again.
Like this is like a permaband situation, right?
This is bad, bad.
Probably.
I mean, Penn State football was allowed to come back.
I'm sorry.
We got a lot of Penn State listeners.
You know what, though?
We got love for Penn State still.
Man, that might be the worst.
You know, no, KJ doesn't.
Okay, Jay doesn't.
They may be the worst pledge class ever, but by far the worst risk manager ever.
Boy, that's a thankless job.
Yeah, it is.
I told the story about what we called him tech guy, TFN Tech guy,
our tech guy who worked at Grandex,
what he did when he was a student at Penn State.
Allegedly.
There was like an anonymous sound off, sound off website, soundboard.
What do they call them?
It's like a yikyak, but I don't know what they were called.
Anyway, it was a website where people went to,
and they just talked shit about other students.
Sick.
So they're like, oh, blah, blah, blah, he's got a small wiener.
What?
They said that about me?
Just shit like that.
But Tfm tech guy, he somehow hacked into the website, took it down, and then he added code to it that tracked everyone that, like, gathered everyone's information, like personal information, names, et cetera.
And he republished the website.
So people got back on there and they were talking all kinds of shit.
And then he released everyone's name and what they said about everyone.
And he got in a lot of trouble for it.
Even though what he did was not necessarily like a terrible thing, like he was exposing people talking shit.
But it was a big deal and he got pop.
I don't know what is, I don't know what the consequences were of that.
But it was a, it was a story that we actually wrote up on Tfm before we hired him, which is interesting.
That's life when you're a motherfucking frat star.
But hey, that's life when you're a motherfucking frat star.
It's facts.
I can't, I can't believe that's how that movie ended.
What's that song?
I don't know.
I'm obsessed with like the little song.
Because it's not bad.
But if you're new here, that's the last line of the TFM movie before it cuts to black.
I believe it's the total frat movie.
Play it again.
Right.
But hey, that's like when you're a motherfucking frat star.
That's so true, though, if you think about it.
Oh, the face that guy's making when he issues that line is probably like...
That was such a terrible, terrible movie.
It's probably a good.
exactly like that.
Oh, boy.
Man, I wonder who, I wonder if these kids are going to flip on their supplier.
No, you can't, that's, you can't do that.
You think a bunch of like college kids, ex-faternity kids are like going to keep like a code?
They're going to honor the Omerta.
I don't know, man.
You took an oath.
If it, if it leads to a lesser charge.
You took an oath.
brothers for life
I mean the dad in this one is crazy too
you come into my chapter room
a brother of Sigma Kai
on this day on this bid day
you come into my chapter room on bid day
and you ask me this favor
that accent kind of went to different direction
it's a little bit Eastern European now
now I go a little yeah merchant of death
it's infiltrated my life
you're here on my
on my grand bid, my grand littles bid day.
You come into her life on Big Brother Night.
You come into my chapter room on Big Brother Night.
And you ask me this.
You ask me to move a brick for you.
I will do this.
But one day you will say,
hey, I need you to show up at a mixer.
Is that a real thing in the, you may not know the answer to this.
In like the mafia world, the day of their daughter's wedding.
Do you actually get to ask them a favor that they have to grant?
I don't know nothing about that.
I don't know nothing about that.
Like how you said, you may not know anything about it.
Yeah, I don't know.
You, you, you, you, you, I watch a lot of movies.
Yeah, you're into that shit.
And you're Italian, kind of.
Yeah.
Can you ask him in, like they got to call my mom and ask you.
We got to do anything for you.
What?
Like, not anything.
Why you get your mind out of the gutter, dude?
Like cum shot.
What?
What the fuck is your problem?
What?
I'm just wondering if any of these fuckers come on the wall.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
They have a big comb shot.
Right.
Yeah.
I don't know if that's part of it.
That's life when you're a motherfucking frat star.
But hey, that's life when you're a motherfucking frat star.
That's life when you're motherfucking Italian.
They should have run the script by us.
About it.
Well, it turns out they didn't really.
They should have run a bias.
Turns out allegedly, there wasn't a lot of.
I would have redmarked the whole thing.
Redlined it.
Like, you gotta get rid of all this stuff.
Yeah, I'm sure you would have white-lined it.
Fucking Duran-Duran over here.
Rigan Penn State fraternity guy over here.
Did you read the name of one of the ringleaders, the really Italian sounding?
Was it Barnum and Bailey?
Yeah.
Beave you do it.
We're doing circus jokes.
Augustino Abatello was one of the ringleaders in the fraternity.
Yeah, I literally read it when I did the story.
That's why I asked you, did you read it.
Yeah, I did.
You heard me.
That dude.
That dude.
That's live on you're a motherfucking podcaster.
That dude probably knows.
I don't think there's any indication that this is connected.
He probably knows the answer to my question.
I mean, maybe you're right.
Maybe he does.
So, man, we like came in, you know, he came to my house.
They went to New York, too.
They crossed state lines.
Yeah, I went to.
Don't go over to Jersey, though.
It's federal.
Don't go over to Jersey.
Might not come back, kid.
I don't know.
I've lost all ability to do anything here.
I'm actually very surprised they're able to get away with this
for so long because back back in my day because college kids are college men college boys are
stupid the dumbest people on the planet but also like we when i was in college like social media was
really starting to take off like with you guys doing tfm and all that so many houses went on probation
for having we weren't allowed to have hard liquor in the houses if we were on campus and so you see
one photo inside a fraternity because everyone was drinking hard liquor then they would go on probation so i'm
surprised with social media that these people were smart enough to like there was never like a
picture of cocaine or anything in a photo you see one you see one handle of mccormick's and you see
some letters in the background that fraternity was going on probation for at least a semester
a i has changed everything sure so good for them but not really no it doesn't sound like it man
no i don't think it's bad for them good for post them not current them this is one of those things
where they like do like a they pot this ruins like Greek life for everybody where it's like
oh yeah they pause it and it's like all right we're gonna put the hammer down no Greek
activities for a year that sucks right you got like fratting silence you got fratting
secret what we're supposed to do fucking have house parties like a fucking jead we couldn't
have kegs in the house which is a problem because I typically had one in my closet
A keg that is
Pete's on the floor too
Right
Do anything to add to that or no
No no no no
That's live
But hey that's life
When you're a motherfucking Bradstar
Stop doing that dude
I hate it
That's life when you're a motherfucking
Polarizing figure
What a shit movie
Are you being Pat McAfee right now
That's
That's life when you
drop your debut album.
There's an egregious sexual assault scene in the movie that just, like, no one addresses.
Okay, don't, no one's seen the movie.
You don't have to bring that up.
Jesus.
It's like, they just, like, it happened and then they just kept fratting.
You dead.
That's well.
Well, it was a guy.
That's like, he was a fucking frat star.
Just saying.
You did King of Frat.
Say something.
I'm just saying I would have.
There's a number of changes to the movie.
I would have called for an edit.
There's a number of edits.
Most people, most people who have seen movies.
Like, hey, we should probably not.
do this one. You know, there's a lot. Just like the overall, um, themes. We got Tom Green,
which Tom Green was in it. Tom Green. Don't say we. We had nothing to do with it. Okay. I'm doing
like hypothetical. We're in the room. All right. We got Tom Green, which is excellent. However,
the dialogue is very, it's what the kids might. In about five or six years, the kids are going to be
saying cringe a lot and like, this is cringe. A cringe ship, is Dylan aptly put. Yeah. I had a
cringe ship with what's his face. Can't say his name.
name.
I'm going to put on my linen pants later.
I'm put on my bonobos.
Just hitting different this summer, man.
It's hot.
Heat index is popping.
I'm throwing on my linen.
I hit math with my linen button down, man.
You hit medals?
I did.
Man, here's the deal.
It's the kind of linen clothes guys dream about.
Guys, summer style is weirdly harder than it should be.
All styles harder than it should be.
But summer, like, you're like, oh, I'm just going to wear shorts and a t-shirt.
Like, you don't, you want to look like you tried, but you don't want to look like you tried too hard.
That's where Bonobos, Bonobos, excuse me, comes into play.
One of those brands, when you put something on, immediately noticed a difference.
They've been in my closet for over a decade now, and now that they're on board with the show.
It's, it's great because they've sent us a lot of stuff.
I'm wearing their stuff.
The short sleeve button down, I'm a huge fan of.
I've got a couple of those.
The linen pants, like I mentioned from their light.
Their light weight chinos are great.
Check out the boardwalk pant, which is like a relaxed, breathe,
the bowl perfect pant for off-duty summer days.
And yeah, they got famous for their pants,
but they got your full wardrobe
covered from polos to everyday shirts to shorts,
everything in between.
Again, they're stocked with linen.
Check it out.
It's timeless.
We love it.
Best part is you don't have to think about it all.
You can throw on a pair of their chinos or a polo and just look put together.
It's not fussy.
It's not over style.
It just works.
So put on Bonobos.
Feel good and get on with your day.
Right now.
Head to bonobos.com slash steam and use code steam for 25%
off your order. Once again, that's B-O-N-O-B-O-S dot com slash steam for 25% off.
Use our code Steam so they know circling back sent you.
Back to school.
Big day.
Big day in the rough shivery households.
You want to go first?
AISD back in school of the day.
Yeah.
First day of school.
And kindergartener now.
He's a kindergartner.
Did you cry?
No.
Not today.
No, I really didn't.
I did last year.
Preschool was, is different.
Kindergarten, it feels like it should be a milestone.
Because kindergarten is kind of like the real start.
But he went to preschool at the same school.
Yeah.
So it had less of a, uh, and he wasn't anxious about it at all.
He's got like his boys going there.
He's got like five or six buddies.
Some squad up this morning.
So it's like, dude, he wasn't like, oh, I don't want to go in.
It's just like, I'm ready to go the fuck in.
He didn't use those words.
That makes it easier as a parent.
It did, but it was almost too easy.
You're like, what are you all doing in there?
You got you guys, you're about to go in there and you got to chop up some bricks?
What's going on?
Yeah, what are you guys?
You're about to go fucking skull fuck pledges?
What?
What's going on, man?
No, I'm just saying, like, it's like, are they going to go in there and share all the new potty words they learned over the summer?
Yeah, probably.
Because like, here's the thing.
They see each other during the summer, but not as often as they will when they're older.
Like it's still much like you might see a friend like once or twice a month.
And like it's been so hot.
These kids aren't.
They're not just out in the neighborhood every night mixing it up riding bikes.
So anyway, yeah, it was good.
It was a good drop off.
It went well.
Bye-bye.
Got some picks.
The mom's got a group pick together.
The dad's just sitting there like, yeah, okay.
Cool.
Let's go.
That's good.
That's real good.
And, you know, it was good.
I'm excited that we're happy about the teacher.
You've got, I realize this about a year ago, my middle school was classified different
than AISD and maybe most.
So Park started middle school today.
He did.
Middle school in Austin is 6, 7, and 8.
So he started sixth grade.
He is officially a middle schooler now.
And he's been, like, leading up to today, I kept checking how you feel.
man he goes i'm excited i'm a little nervous i think i was like dude i get it keep in mind though
every sixth grader there are a lot of them that's starting today they're all nervous every
single one of them so no don't think i mean you're all in this together right and i think that worked
a little bit he was he was leaning more toward excited than nervous the last like few days and then last
night he's like all right man you got it's you got your you got school tomorrow it's bedtime he's like
i'm getting in bed he gets in bed he gets in bed he gets in bed he's like i'm
at like 9.30 and he goes to bed. I'm sleeping. He taps me on the shoulder at 12.30. He's like,
Dad, I can't sleep. Oh yeah. I was asleep. He said, dad, I was like, what's going on? Can't sleep.
He's like, dude, go, go drink some milk. Close your eyes. Be still. You're going to fall asleep.
Like, all right. Goes back to bed and then I don't see him again until morning. I said,
how'd you sleep? He goes, it took me a while to get to bed, woke up a few different times. The
The kid's excited.
It's like before a vacation, you know?
You just hard to sleep.
And you're a kid, like vacations are just so much fun.
You just can't sleep.
He couldn't sleep.
He was excited.
This morning I woke up.
His alarm was set for seven.
So was mine.
So we got up.
I walked into the kitchen at 7.10.
And he greeted me in the kitchen.
He was fully dressed.
Oh, by the way, he picked out his outfit.
And he chose like a polo, which is, this is the first time that's ever happened.
That's live on your motherfucking fratstack.
But like the kid, the kid is, like, he's like, I'm going to throw a t-shirt on and any, any comfortable shorts I can find.
I'm going to go to school.
Like, he didn't care.
He knows the stakes are a little higher.
We got a haircut yesterday.
How high does this school go as far as like sixth grade, seventh grade, eighth grade?
Yeah, six to eight.
So there's some, you got some eighth graders.
Sure.
Some big kids.
Some big kids.
You got a haircut yesterday.
He got new shoes.
He's feeling fresh.
He hit us with the polo shirt first day, which surprised the hell out of me.
But he would, like, the first thing.
He didn't, the first thing he said to me in the kitchen this morning, he goes,
Dad, help me do my hair.
Didn't even say good morning.
He was already fully dressed at 7-10 and asked me to help him do his hair.
Mind of an asking the wrong guy.
Yeah, just put the hat on, kid.
He hasn't, he has a style of hair.
Yeah, for sure, man.
So we put some product in his hair and he combed it.
Is he a pomade guy or a gel guy?
Palmade, yeah.
You're not doing jail.
Just do a little bit.
Don't do too much.
A little bit goes a long way.
Headwresters love reminding you that a little bit goes a long way.
And they're right.
And so we had plans with the other parents to, there's this street, like right next to the entrance of the school.
So we all met on the street.
And so he was with like five of his best buds.
We do the same thing.
Squatted up, got a couple pictures.
And then, but he was clear.
He was like, I don't want you to walk me up to school.
So I was like, all right.
Nah, dude.
I get it.
So I walked him kind of like to where the cross guard was, crossing guard.
And I loved in there, I gave him a hug.
And he was off.
dude and he was like I said squated up he was he was really excited to be there you want to have that
vibe i remember this of getting dropped off you want to you want people to think like oh did he
walk to school like you want that walk to school vibe but you don't actually want to walk to school
because i used to have my mom or dad like drop me off a little bit like to where i'd have to like
cross the street and it's like yeah i'm fucking badass my mom doesn't drop me off it's he dropped me
right there on the other street so you're a liar i'm a liar i'm a fraud i think ohnie
I think I'm more nervous than he is.
I mean, he is very small for his age.
And now, like, middle school, that's when kids turn into little dicks.
He knows Jiu-Jitsu.
You know what I mean?
Like, I'm just, I don't want kids to pick on them for being the little guy.
Again, he knows that.
It's going to happen.
People are going to make fun of him.
I know that.
For being little?
Yeah.
It's middle school, man.
I worry about him.
He's, Parks is just, he gets it, man.
He's well-adjusted.
He's just a sweet little kid, man.
He means no harm.
But kids like that can be a target.
I have an idea.
Parks should just go around telling people that his fists are registered weapons and people
won't mess with him.
Or at least tell him his dad's fist.
Or his dad's the king of frat.
Do you know my dad?
He's like, yeah, check this out.
My dad's got how many followers you have?
Like 41K.
41K.
Honestly, there's probably some middle schooler that has more than that at this point.
I like TikTok is fucking wild.
That's true.
That's a great point.
I don't like it.
I reminded him that his school has a football team now.
When football starts, they've already been practicing,
he's going to get to go to football games and shit,
which is a lot of fun.
Seventh and eighth have football teams.
Damn.
He's like seven graders the first year.
Oh, by the way, on that note,
I heard a high school band practicing the other day.
It's one of the best sounds in the world,
like from a distance, you know,
because you're like, ah, football is almost here.
Dude.
How many sleeps?
It really is one of the best sounds ever.
A high school band practicing in the distance.
My parents live not far from Duncanville High School.
When I go home in the fall for holidays, that Friday, obviously Friday, game day,
or just there on like a random weekday they're practicing.
I love it.
Dude, it's the best.
A crispy fall night.
And you can hear the band practicing.
What was it, that snare drum just popping, you know?
God, dude, just go move a couple bricks with the bros?
You hear Dave at the triangle?
out there doing his thing triangle typical well there's a triangle in the marching band
i don't probably don't think so that's not how the triangle sounds more that guy's getting
picked on for sure what what god dude he can't help but be a bully yeah he's the biggest bully in
the world of me i mean i did middle school kids suck yeah we know i mean ask a teacher
they'll tell you that age man kids are just you think back you think back you think back you
slamming some kid into a toilet yeah i made people you threw into lockers i probably could have
been nicer to some kids and look dude you put a cone on someone's car you were a fucking
i was gone back i was you coneed a car i heard how you were yelling at the high schoolers on the
tv out here not they couldn't hear me they couldn't hear me you put a cherry bomb in the toilet
and flushed it no i didn't i never did anything i never did anything really bad like that uh
oh you put a cone of
on the car is just as bad as a cherry bomb.
They were cones.
Can you imagine?
I had to take that cone off.
Here's my, yeah, here's my impression of finding a cone on my car.
Oh.
And then I'll just drive off.
But where do you put the cone?
Just on the ground.
I'm not going to return it to the construction site.
Yeah, that would be, that would be a lot.
I'm excited to see how the day went when I see them later on today.
And then we're going to, we have a tradition.
First day of school, we take parks out to eat.
just so he can fill us in on the day.
We're doing Pine House.
It's always me and Dallas, Dallas's husband, and then Chelsea.
We'll get to join us, of course, this year.
And he chose ECHO.
He loves it.
We're going ECHO tonight.
Do they give him a free shot?
Yeah.
I'm here it at you, baby.
And I'm going to order the Moli.
Three doors down.
Uh-huh.
Is that then?
I'm here without you, days.
That sounds more like
I'm here at ECHO baby
It's more like in the creed realm of
It's not creed though
Yeah three doors down
Here without you
Dave Dave
Dave's just a music encyclopedia man
There goes Dave always making the seg about him
Can't stop talking about music
I'll put a picture up on my story
Catch it at D. Shivory
I'll show you how Parks looked on his first day of school
Looking fresh man
Got some new new balance kicks going
Yeah I saw
I got a sneak peek yesterday.
He's got the 90s.
Dallas brought him by and they look pretty dope.
Pretty dope.
Roed just kind of moved on from his newbies.
He bought those flaming Nike's.
They looked like Dan Marley-era Phoenix Suns Nikes.
Dude, Dan Marley was nasty.
He had a great three-point shot.
He was one of the first cold-ass white boys.
He was a cold-ass white boy.
Yeah.
Those teams were fun.
Kevin Johnson.
I think he's in NBA Jam, is he not?
Yeah, for the heat.
Yeah, that's them.
These are the ones.
Oh, shit.
Please don't, please don't shoe docks, my son.
Those are kind of fresh, man.
Did he get them in the orange?
Yes, dude.
Those are the exact ones.
I don't know why.
I'd wear those if I was a-
Elisa didn't tell me that she bought those,
and like one day I just saw him wearing them.
He like, oh, dad, I'm gonna go put on my shoes.
And he walked out with him like,
I was just like, what are those?
Those are loud.
What are those?
These are, you know, a little burnt orange a little bit.
You can probably wear these to a game.
Dude, those are bully shoes.
Those are not, you, no.
I don't think Rhodes is going to do much bullying.
No, but he has the look.
I'm just saying.
He does have a good swoop.
Roads is a sweet kid.
He's got a bully swoop.
Eh, funny.
Roger?
Yeah.
Give him a leather jacket.
Good stuff.
Shout to all the parents out there who were going through.
it today.
Emotional wrecks.
Yeah, we're picking up Pinehouse.
I made that.
I asked the list.
I go, I didn't take anything out of the freezer to thaw it.
She's like, no, I thought we could pick up Pine House today.
You could pick up a superior pizza.
And I was like, uh, much cheaper.
We're going to play our Zah card.
No, we're not doing Pizza Hut on the first day of school.
It's so good.
Pine House has been, Pinehouse last time I had it was really good, too.
Okay.
What a fun segment.
It was a fun segment.
It brings me back, man.
I used to love first day of school so much.
I'm trying to think when I really started looking forward to it.
It feels like right about his age, maybe a little older, like seventh, eighth grade.
I just hated summers.
I was like just so anxious to see my squad again, see who was in my classes.
I think that was the thing that made me most excited was seeing who was in the classes.
Yeah, that was always a big, a big moment.
I got very lucky with my school lunches, like in high school.
I had so many of my friends in my like a lot of B lunch.
Yeah.
Like I always had like a big table because just happened out that we always had the same
lunches.
It was great.
Yeah.
Hell yeah.
Do he bring his lunch?
Yeah.
Chelsea made him a turkey wrap.
I sliced up an apple for him.
Sun chips.
And then Chelsea put a couple of cookies in there.
Quit trying to act like you did the heavy lift.
He was chill.
Oh shit.
I forgot to bring muffins in.
Chelsea made muffins.
for y'all.
Believe it when I see it.
Here's what she said.
I don't know what it is with,
I think she really does have like a minor crush on Dave.
She said it were three muffins.
Okay.
There's a chair with the muffin in it.
There were three muffins.
He said, hey, bring these to the boys and give Dave one.
It's like, there are other guys I work with.
She just want to make sure that Dave got one of them.
Wait, so she does on the most critical.
So the third one was a free agent.
It was up to you to pick.
I wasn't having one.
One of them wasn't for me.
Okay.
So there are two available muffins.
So that means that one of us weren't getting, we're not going to get one.
Banana bread muffins.
Not banana nut.
They're good too.
I had one last night.
They're good.
They're really good.
So I'll bring them tomorrow.
I'm sorry I forgot them.
I do love a muffin.
They're good to have around in the morning, real easy to eat real quick.
Muffins, man.
Catch me just wearing poncho outdoors eating muffins.
Catch me wearing poncho outdoors doing anything.
being outside because there's shirts for people who really do go outside,
but you can wear them on a plane.
You can wear them to work.
People know I'll wear mine to work.
They make performance shirts for guys like us,
guys who really go outside, guys out there bird hunting,
guys out there walking the pups, doing yard work, whatever,
dropping their kids off.
I saw a lot of poncho today and drop off.
It's become my go-to shirt for all seasons.
Fall's coming up, but it's still real hot.
So yeah, I'm still wearing like the original short sleeve that I've got,
with the denim one, the Marfa, the light wash, denim, pearl snap.
We love that one.
You can pick your fit, regular, slim, or tall.
Somebody asked me the other day, like, dude, that shirt you're wearing, they DM me.
They go, is that a slim or a regular?
I go, I've got a regular and a slim.
I think I'm a regular guy, but the slim isn't so slim that it, like, looks slim, if that makes any sense.
I have the slim, and it doesn't, it's definitely, like, not, like, overly slim at all.
It gives you room.
They're great.
Love it.
They really get the fit dialed in.
it's fantastic.
They feel like butter.
Perfect little stretch to it.
My most comfortable shirt.
And it fits perfectly.
Check out the hats and graphic keys to.
Just as a little personal anecdote there.
Once you order one, you'll probably order five more.
Gear up for summer.
Gear up for fall.
Gear up for year-round stuff.

Do you want to talk clav and punt for tomorrow?
We can do that.
Well, the clap thing is really funny.
No, we've got another.
No, that's fine.
We won't punt.
We'll do this now.
Okay.
Driving into work today.
I stayed home.
I went home after drop off, dropped Roads off, dropped Sammy off.
went home had a bunch of time didn't go to the gym made a big breakfast drink my coffee outside
enjoyed the nice 83 degree morning got into work or got onto the highway mopac is the highway
a lot of traffic today was a little slow my god's interesting um I ended up being behind a car
for 85% of my drive-in just one of those ones and um it was
It was a Subaru outback.
And it first jumped onto my radar when, as I'm driving up in the stop and go traffic,
the lane next to me is an exit only.
Exits right there.
Kind of over by the gym.
You know where they exit.
Oh, yeah.
And I'm getting there and I'm getting up to the end of the last chance to get over.
And this car did the trick where they clearly tried to bypass all of the traffic.
by going up in the lane that's an exit only
and then cutting over onto like the painted part
and a little bit onto the shoulder
at the last possible minute
gets right in front of me.
And I was like, oh, cool.
I'll give them a lot of times the benefit of the Dalek.
Maybe they didn't realize,
maybe for some reason this is their first time
on this extremely major highway.
I know that that's not the case,
but they did that move.
That move really annoys me, but okay.
So they're in front of me.
and comes time to exit,
go over the big bridge,
get on the other highway
to come into work.
Okay.
They're still in front of me.
They go over the bridge
and I'm following them,
following them,
following them.
Then we go,
we exit,
Lamar exit.
We go all the way up to that light.
It's a light we talk about
often here.
It's the trickiest light in town
because there's like,
weirdly,
like,
there's two lanes over that are barrett like on the other side of a curb and those can go straight
and have a left turn that turn into this shopping complex but then there's oncoming traffic
on the other side so if the lane's on the right go that doesn't mean the lane in the middle gets to
go because we have our own separate light we've talked about this intersection before actually on this
podcast it sucks it's one of the worst designed intersections i've ever seen it's poorly designed
and it confuses people all the time it's so bad like if my parents come into town and i know they're
going to drive on it, I will be like, hey, just a heads up. This is, this is one you got to look out
for. It's tricky. It's real tricky. Chelsea, we were driving through that intersection last week,
and she panicked and she went the wrong, she chose the wrong lane. It cost us like five minutes.
Did you turn, have to turn into the shopping center and turn around? No, no, we were, we were headed south,
so she missed that, that, that ramp onto Mopac. So yeah, did you go like to the light, Westgate?
We'd go through like three lights because of it, yeah. Yeah. Chels, come on.
Yeah, no, classic Chels.
It was our turn.
The light turns green.
This car is the only car.
This car got front row Joe.
Okay, it's them and then me.
So they were the first car.
They're the car that sets the tone.
About 30 cars behind is all like, all right, let's go.
Let's get through this light.
Green light.
And I'm like, take my foot off.
I'm ready to rock.
And they are sitting there.
Listen, if you're the front, if you're the front row person of light,
you have a responsibility.
Fiscal duty.
the team leader of that line of cars you owe it to everybody back there you have to pay attention
that that guy that's back there and he's running a little late you're gonna cost you're gonna cost him a
light that guy's gonna miss that light and that that's gonna cost him about four minutes yes uh
one second two second i'm waiting to see the brake lights go you know go off nothing i hit him
with them with them actually it wasn't a double tap didn't double tap i hit him with the
got to that that's the most that's the most polite beat the
the one time quick one.
This is two infractions.
They go.
They did the panic move where they gunned it.
They went zero to 40 in about, you know, 3.9 because they realized their error and they were embarrassed.
So they just overcorrected and they just gunned it.
I'm like, okay, well, maybe that's the last I'll see at them.
Driving up, driving up Lamar, they, I lost sight of them.
I was like, good, don't have to deal with this fucker anymore.
Or did I?
I did.
It's the whole thing here.
South Lamar is kind of a war zone.
It's not a good street at all.
It's got a lot of potholes and people just drive really shittily on it.
It's just not good.
We drive it every day, whatever.
There's the turn lane in the middle that separates the different directions of traffic,
north and south.
There's all sorts of businesses you turn into, you can go and get in the middle lane.
Do you want to guess what they did?
I want to take a guess what they did.
did. I'm going to guess
that they needed to turn left
and instead of merging
over into the lane and slowing
down into the spot where they needed
to turn, they were in the
left lane and got at
the in the turn lane at the last second
when they needed to turn and were sticking out in traffic
and didn't actually get all in the lane.
They were going to Sonic.
They were going to go
get them some ocean water. Some Sonic
Hawes. A strawberry lime made.
But here's the funny part.
they were in the right length.
So Sonic is on the left side.
Oh my God.
So it's like they just noticed the Sonic and they were like, oh, fuck, that sounds badass.
It just cut across in front of, I could see two cars in front of me.
They cut in front.
So everybody kind of slows down.
They creep into that middle across the yellow line.
They creep into it, blinker on.
And they were poking out.
The back corner, that back right tire poking out.
Oh, my God.
To the point to where everyone.
Everybody's looking to see if they could just go around, but there's cars.
You should have dragged him out of the car and whipped their ass, but that's the third time that they fucked you up and other people up.
What an absolute moron.
So, best part about it, too.
So cars start going around it.
It's my turn to go around it.
And I'm like, all right, well, I'm going to try to make eye contact through like the side view or I'm going to give them a look.
I go to give them a look.
They weren't looking at me.
You know why?
Phone.
Because they were just like having a conversation.
on their phone.
FaceTime?
I don't know if it was FaceTime,
but they were holding it like it was.
And I just was like,
that is...
No BTS?
In about three, a three miles stretch,
that is three of the most annoying,
like,
dangerous but not completely,
like, just three unsears driving maneuvers.
It's annoying that,
like South Amar,
every single day,
I see that last one.
Going from the right lane
is a little more egregious,
but still.
That's the one that really set it off.
What color was this?
car was it white um i don't want to docks them i don't think shared in the color of the car is not really
docks i don't want to dox them but it was kind of a kind of a dope blue okay never mind because i
had seen a car that was a similar size as that the other day and it was it was a similar
situation where they did like three different things i'm like how are you this bad at driving
at some point three's crazy at some point it becomes your duty to uh educate bad drivers
gone to Sonic and just with their ass.
That's why I can be liberal with the horn sometimes,
and I feel like it's an education.
Like, you fucked up there,
I'm gonna honk so that you think about what you did.
Because if you let them go on about their day
with no acknowledgement.
No consequences.
No acknowledgement of their mistakes
and their dumb decisions,
they're gonna keep doing it.
And if you give them a little beat,
they're like, hey man, that ain't it.
They're like, you know what?
I'm gonna learn from this.
It's an education.
Minimal effort.
The car that I'm thinking was,
like got to a red light, slowed down, and then just, it was still a blatant red, and then they just
went again. And I was like, did no one just see like it was, they like, it wasn't like they ran it.
They slowed down and then went through the red.
There's a car that did that after, after roads drop off. We're going to Sammy's daycare.
Alyssa is in the car with me. We rode together. And there's a light that's turning yellow,
car in front of us
stopped
was like overly cautious
and stopped at it
like you just described
and I just go
because there's a bunch of cars behind us too
I go oh congrats you just fucked all of us
and unless it's like it is not that serious
and I'm like look at all these cars behind
I have no patience for people like that
I really don't
I just don't get it man so we're gonna
do we want to a shrink nuke expand
or a stamp you cancel
I don't know if this applies you
because these are all shitty things.
Like, not one.
Let's power.
I want to power away.
What's the most egregious there?
I'm,
the last one.
The last one is,
the last one is,
it seems like the most dangerous.
The second one is the most innocent
because we've all,
we've all done that,
you know,
not noticed when the light turns green
and kind of sat there a moment.
Yeah,
that's like the most innocent,
like understandable one.
The cutting over,
the cutting over,
the waiting to the last minute
to get over so you can go around
like the stop and go traffic
as far as possible
and save yourself,
I don't know,
like 15 yards.
That's the most selfish.
That,
that one is,
really annoying to me and
it's the one I
see the most just because of where I live. That one's selfish. The second one
was innocent, but
lacking awareness.
The third one was just stupidity.
Yeah.
Selfish.
For Sonic. Selfish. Unawareness.
Stupid.
Sonic. I want to give you
a congratulations, Dave. Because as the second person,
it is your duty to watch the first person.
be ready at the horn because I'm like I'm wondering how far back do you have to be before you're the
one that honked because I was I think I think I was like four it's fair game for a home to do it
I was I think I was four people back and we weren't going but I had like a I'm in a you know a sedan so
I'm kind of low and I'd had like a big truck from me so I could not see what the light was
and then I heard someone behind me honk I'm like okay so they can clearly see it's green and
the fifth person in line is honking at the front people like what were
the other three people in front of me doing honk at this person how long do you give them before you
honk usually three three count three i go one one thousand two one thousand three then like a little
beep yeah also it's light specific if i know most of the lights and i'm like this is one that's
you know this one's on like a 10 second counter like we got to go the more cars you have backed up
behind you the the more you need to take yeah the stress stress you need to take your job yeah
a good job you got a duty you owe a duty okay that i mean that not being over till left hand it just
it really chaps your ass it does because i see it not i see it once a day and sometimes multiple
times in a single drive yeah it chaps my ass like i'm at the dealt house and i just got skunked
shorts are down and the brothers for life i just paddling me honestly i wish i could pull some
of those drivers out and start pedaling their bottoms and say hey it's a turn lane
You need a traffic paddle.
I do.
Randy's traffic paddle.
He gets out and he's just, come on.
Come on.
I need a loudspeaker.
Just go, it's a lane.
Merge.
Did you have a guy in high school with the PA system in his truck?
Yeah, I had a couple.
Yeah, he does.
But we had a couple of them too.
Yeah.
Do you think that ever got us in trouble?
They're kind of sick.
Really dumb.
No one should have them, but they're kind of sick.
They are sick, though.

A crazy sentence to say if you told me a year ago that I would utter that sentence that Clav is out of the top 10. I would have been like you're crazy.
like missou has a better chance of being ranked in the top 25 preseason than clav being out of the top 10
yeah for all the shit clav gets from everyone and it's listen it's pretty much all deserved
the dude can be funny and this is one of those times where he's actually pretty funny i think
so he's in a club all right he's looking he's looking thicker by the way he's talking to a couple
blonde babes you know as clab will do and he's uh gesturing right
Randy? This is a bit of a jester
move. Juster maxing, yeah.
He's jester maxing. He decides to
for whatever reason jump and touch the ceiling
inside this club. Of course, he has a hundred cameras pointed at him
while he's doing it. Classic little kid
move. And then he looks extremely proud of himself
when he does it. Go ahead and play
the video. He'll screen. Hit.
Oh, he pulls the mic off his collar so he can get a
good jump. Looks like. Oh, no, those are his sunglasses.
Never mind. He does
look so hard. He's smiling. He's so proud. He's so proud. He's so proud. He's so proud. He's so
proud of it anyway he taps him on the shoulder and points up like check this out so someone post
this video of him and he quote tweets it and he says one of the reasons that the NFL uses the
vertical jump is because it's the least fake it's the least fakable athletic marker there is
things like the squat bench and deadlift can easily can be easily frauded by limiting range
of motion different techniques etc these girls know beyond a shadow of a doubt i'm i'm the ideal
mate for selection now
shadow
without shout of it out
okay
he's awesome
I mean he's a
he's a shit
I gotta say
so you're
chicks aren't kind of hot
so you're wondering
Dave you're wondering
don't worry I got the official
Chad up here
and he has gone up four spots
he's back in the top 10
because he touched the ceiling
he's number nine
he is number nine
he's back dude yeah
that'll derb you show
You show some babes that you got a vertical jump.
Who's Derb and why did he fall four spots?
What happened to Derb is the golden boy?
Oh, his profiles I haven't found.
Oh, my goodness.
That's not good.
It must be new.
But yes, it looks like we do have number nine clav.
Thank God.
Dylan Latham is still number four, Dylan.
Up 10 spots, man.
That's a crazy jump.
That's crazy.
Look, there is a masculine urge to touch.
most ceilings or most you know what i mean i used to do this quite often i kind of still will do it
i'm always touching door frames and stuff i can't help it it's it's like the number one marker
part of being a boy man yeah you just jump and touch shit can we get clav on
i don't i don't think that might be a tough clav did it sit down with jd vance i don't think he's gonna
I don't think he's coming in here.
Get him.
We can ask.
That might be a real...
He sits next to Dylan.
He'll mock me.
Just, yeah, I mean...
He's a good-looking cat.
Good-looking cat.
Like I said, I think he's put on a little bit more...
I think his muscles coming back.
He lost a bunch during his surgeries.
He was out of it, out of commission for a while.
He's probably breathing a lot better, too, with the nose job.
Maybe.
Cleared him out a little bit, yeah.
Mm-hmm.
I mean, honestly, like, I'm not, I never sold my clavstock.
No, he, but it's, it's looking like it's going to pay off.
Sometimes your heroes need to fall so they can rise back up again.
Everyone loves a good story.
He was just, he was just jumping, trying to, trying to escape the underground prison.
That scene always made me uncomfortable.
In what?
Batman.
Batman.
Oh, okay.
Why do he fall?
He just went no rope on him.
The child.
made the climb.
The child
Arrasa Kour.
I didn't really
dig that storyline.
I wasn't that familiar
with the lore.
Yeah,
the dark night
was definitely the best
of the three.
Which one was that?
The one with the Joker,
the one in the middle.
No,
no,
which one was the one with the
The Dark Night Rises.
That was the last one.
It's like,
Hey,
like Bain broke your back.
They expect one of us
in the wreckage,
brother.
He broke your back,
and now you're just
going to do some push-ups
and some air squats
and yeah okay yeah i mean it is like the number one you know marker for athleticism it's true
and like when a female's seeking a mate so okay all right well we'll be back later today will
dave dylan producer randy for uh circling back circling back on touching bass only on
patreon check it out oh bye bye
