Starting point is 00:00:04 All right. Bless you. All right, we're back. Circling Back podcast Monday morning. How you doing? Oh, man. Love starting it off with a good old-fashioned sneeze on beat for those tracking. You were muted.
Starting point is 00:00:33 So they did not hear you sneeze, but they heard Dylan say, bless you. All right. No, bless you for Giacomo. Don't explain it? I don't know what's from I hear you guys say. What is it from? It's from some like a tweet or something like that. Will always said it was like...
Starting point is 00:00:50 Thought it was from Love Island. I think it knows. I think it was just some tweet of this little Italian kid. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. He just like, he sneezed and no one like said, bless you. He just goes, what, the Noah bless you for Jocchimo? What was the thing from Love Island that you always to do back before anybody watched it? Who is it?
Starting point is 00:01:06 Oh, she's a lighter. Oh, yeah. Dada. That's right. She's a liar. She's an actress. I fucking love that guy. I never watched that season, but I'm very aware of him.
Starting point is 00:01:20 It's like your name, but kind of like the Italian version. Davide was my name in Italian class. Fun fact. It was easy. You just had to add an E to the end. She's a liar. She's an actress. She's a runner.
Starting point is 00:01:32 She's a track star. That's good. Randall Trebaki's going to produce the show. Hi, Dave. Were you muted the whole time? No, no, I wasn't muted the whole time. I just got something on the program that said we weren't streaming, but we're back now. So I think we're good.
Starting point is 00:01:47 Don't mute Ranny the whole time. We're good. We're good. I'm happy to be here. I'm happy to be here. I'm going to just go ahead and mute Dylan really quick. All right. Happy to be here. Tomorrow we drop restaurant week.
Starting point is 00:02:00 We're going to record it. You can still email Dave at washtammedia.com or hit the Hosseline 877353-252-4677 with your stories about restaurants, restaurantes, restaurantes. Dylan Shivry's here. Chelsea just sent me a picture of a cicada coming out of its skin. I'm coming out of my skin and I've been living on the ground. I've never seen it like in action like that. It's kind of dope.
Starting point is 00:02:30 Have you ever seen it? I've seen those, yeah. Oh. I mean, I've seen a cicada. The only other thing I was going to say is that I just put Jaden on some shit. The Loonies. I got five on it. Jaden, by the way, is our Gen Z internist that's out there.
Starting point is 00:02:45 He didn't know about that issue yet. Now he does. You're welcome, Jaden. He's listening, I think. What year was Jaden born? I think Jaden was born in like 2005. No, because I don't think he's 21 yet.
Starting point is 00:03:04 Six or seven. Dylan almost took off of that six, seven. I fucking hit that shit. Jesus, dude. I hit that shit. Oh, no, don't gift that. It's embarrassing. 1995 if you're looking for the year of the song release
Starting point is 00:03:23 I was looking for the year of Jaden's birth Well that's a year after my birth It's not available on the internet What he's got to hide I got by the guy's got no digital footprint He does he's got an Instagram Yeah he does I gotta take a whist test to my P-O I know I've been smoking
Starting point is 00:03:40 He's laughing major weed yo He's at there laughing You're laughing we're talking about you on the pod And you're laughing We're asking when you're born and you're laughing What year were you born? 05. So a decade after that song dropped.
Starting point is 00:03:56 Crazy. He's 21, right? Or this year. If he said a birthday this year. Yeah. He does have a birthday this year, I would assume. If he's had a birthday. I thought he said if he has.
Starting point is 00:04:08 Restaurant week, by the way, drops on Patreon. We do, if you want to go full all the way in, if you can't get enough of us, if you want to go opto, $10 a month, you get two episodes,
Starting point is 00:04:20 two extra episodes a week. that are, I mean, just crazy, crazy, scary. Crazy fun. Spooky, hilarious, wacky even. We're getting close to spooky season. I know. It's a spooky, scary skeleton. Maybe we'll just take, maybe we'll do something different this year.
Starting point is 00:04:40 Just kind of take a month off. Okay. We're going to take the whole month of October off, the whole, the whole company, I guess. We should do a spooky, do you know it. We have for one of them. We did that last time because there's five Tuesdays. We should do another spooky. Do you know it?
Starting point is 00:05:00 This guy forgot about the spooky, do you know it? The whole thing was spooky? That's crazy because you almost certainly won. I think I've done it twice. I think I've done too spooky here. Hey, real quick, what's your problem? No, I mean, it's just a good chance that you won. I did win one.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Yes, you're right. People forget. No, Randy did it. It was good. It was a good one. It was a, you know, five is too many. Four is the sweet spot. And then you hit it with that, do you know what?
Starting point is 00:05:26 Bam! Next thing you know, you got a great October. So, yeah. We only have four Tuesdays this October. Ah. Bullshit. Crab. You can still do it, do you?
Starting point is 00:05:40 No. I could. I could still do it. Yeah. What the fuck is this? What the fuck is this? You put it out of the heart. I didn't know you put it on the aura frame.
Starting point is 00:05:54 Look at the little, the bottom. It's got like the, you know how the base of a hot dog's got the little butthole looking thing? Dude, what the hell? What did this happen? Should we just go to this segment? Is this real? Is that what the segment is? Yeah, I just forgot I put it on the aura frame.
Starting point is 00:06:13 So I guess we'll just go to, is this real now? Yeah. Dylan, is this real? What is this? Who made this? I don't condone what's happening here Why are you busting it like that? Why is it signed?
Starting point is 00:06:30 What does the signature say? So this, I mean, I guess... I don't know. I guess you hadn't seen this yet. I know that I know the... This picture that's used here is when I'm in Cape Cod with Chels. This is the original that probably got sent to me and Dave, I don't know, like 12 times already.
Starting point is 00:06:50 I will say the fate, why does the face look like? Nicholas Cage. That's exactly what I thought for first time. And then someone on Reddit asked to get your face. Is that Nick Cage from the Rock? Or maybe from Conair? Con Air. I think it's Conair. Yeah. Where he's kind of doing the
Starting point is 00:07:07 little brooding. Why is he sunning his privates? And then someone off Photoshop. Which one's the original? I think the Nick Cage one is. I'm not sure. What do you think, David? You know what's really stupid? I don't know. Is that...
Starting point is 00:07:23 Dude, mustard. first that this is a bit like someone saw this and immediately thought circling back many people did that it's sunning your two hole it's a hot dog why is he sunning his shit though why is this our comedy got those feet on main street why is he sun in his shit well there's a some people i don't think science has spoken on this one way or the other but like some people believe that absorbing um the sun and it's natural light, vitamin D, things of that nature, directly like that,
Starting point is 00:07:57 has health benefits. But I'm not a doctor. I don't know. I have not seen the study. That's a good one to punch. Right there. Yeah. For the people just listening,
Starting point is 00:08:06 it is a hot dog sounding its two-hole. And it's me. And it's Dylan. And Dave is the son. Which I don't appreciate it. What picture is out of me? Is that me at the Del Matchplay? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:08:20 It doesn't matter. You're trying to look hard in it. I know that. Yeah, that's, oh, wow. Ooh, scary. Get this guy out of here. I don't. It's kind of a low effort, Photoshop, but a good one, nonetheless.
Starting point is 00:08:35 All right. All right. So I guess this is not real. I guess, I guess not. Stash looking good at least. I did not expect you to put it on the war frame. Thanks, Dave. I was hoping.
Starting point is 00:08:51 I was hoping that worked. You were just keeping one eye on the frame, just hoping to it pop up. Yeah, and you were keeping another eye on the sun, apparently. Come on, dude. Let's talk about this weekend of fun. Bro, let's go out this weekend. There's a crazy event happening. I like to turn up.
Starting point is 00:09:08 Bro, there's a crazy event happening. We had the party, and it was lit. I got yelled out by a prostitute. Let's just go have fun, and let go a little. Little more, girls, let's go. This weekend and Fawn presented by Pancho. Pancho outdoors. Dylan pulled up in his poncho.
Starting point is 00:09:25 I didn't even know he had a poncho read today. I decided to wear it. Honestly, I assume we have one every week. I don't ever look to see. But yeah, they're in deep with us. We're in deep with them. We love it. I had the Shortsley version of that.
Starting point is 00:09:37 It's the original. Yeah. And I love it. We're this to dinner Saturday night, actually. And I was like, man, I look so good. And this thing, I'm going to run it back on Monday. Lightweight, breathable, dries, and minutes. It's just functional.
Starting point is 00:09:48 Yeah. That's what I respect about them. Excuse me. Loaded with Little Dalyze. the tails, a hidden zippered pocket, a sunglasses holder, even a built-in lenscloth for your shades. Ponchos just got, they've got range, straight up. They've got a denim one, a denim western one. It's the Marfa, I believe.
Starting point is 00:10:07 Yeah. The light wash one we both have that one. That one's awesome, too. I have it in Sage as well, that same shirt and Sage. It's great. Man. Check out their hats. Check out their teas.
Starting point is 00:10:17 Once you order one and try one on, you'll probably order five more. I've worn it. I've worn it pretty much everywhere on a plane, on a road trip, dinner. I've wanted out blasting birds out at the range everywhere. Gear up your summer. Gear up for summer with poncho. Go to poncho outdoors.com slash steam. Enter your email.
Starting point is 00:10:39 Get $10 off and free shipping on your first order. That's P-O-N-C-H-O outdoors.com slash steam. Go there, drop your email. Get $10 off and free shipping. Once you try one, you'll know why we've got a closet for. And that's true. That is absolutely true. Dylan.
Starting point is 00:10:56 Ooh, thanks, Dave. I mentioned that I went to out to eat Saturday. That was with the fam, but let me back up to Friday. Another fam day. Sister and brother-in-law were over at my dad's. We went over there. We cooked steaks, drinks of beers, had a little bit of wine. It was just a good family day.
Starting point is 00:11:15 Just a solid family evening. And then we ran it back Saturday, man. We went swimming, the pool. The neighborhood pool had a great time there. And then, yeah, etcho, with the whole squad, not just, not just Che and I. It was the whole squad. My dad, sister, brother-in-law, my nieces, Parks was there. Awesome time.
Starting point is 00:11:39 Parks got a soccer net over the weekend and a new soccer ball. He's getting, he's getting back into the game. The World Cup has influenced my son. He's back in. I watched the video of Wemby playing, uh, some pickup soccer in Houston. And it made me so uneasy watching a man of his size, like, do that. He's he nice with it?
Starting point is 00:12:01 For a guy of his size and like, yeah, I mean, he's, yes, he, I mean, for us, like, kicking like a, like a baby's soccer ball. It's just very, it's, you're just watching it and you're like, don't roll an ankle. Yeah. Or don't, yeah. But yeah. So it looked. So I forgot about that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:18 I, you know, I've got that. I've got that, I got the soccer bug too, man. I want to get Rhodes into it. He's done some soccer related things, but he's never done like a full team. Our friend, our mutual friend, coaches, a seven you team. And it was like, Rhodes can play.
Starting point is 00:12:38 He's like, he's like, get him on my team. And I was like, thinking about it. And I was like, he's not even six. Seven year olds are big. Yeah, I wouldn't do that. I'm not worried about him getting hurt, but I just, I'm worried about him like not enjoying him.
Starting point is 00:12:51 Yeah. So, yeah, I would wait on that. A problem is, yeah. I didn't want them to get discouraged. So etcher, what was the order? I got two enchiladas. One was shrimp with a blanco molay sauce. The other one was pork with a, I forgot the name of the other mole. Two different molays.
Starting point is 00:13:10 It was fantastic. Two different molet sausage, please. The marguerite is so good there. So good. I get a frozen, of course. A blend did, eh? Yeah. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:13:21 Very tart. I love a tart margarita. Anyway, Sunday Parks had a big day with his buddies. He went to a birthday party all day at Calahari, which I still haven't been to, but he had a great time there. Aren't you explaining to the folks at home what that is? Calahari is a indoor water park arcade situation, and there's a hotel there.
Starting point is 00:13:44 Again, I haven't been. That's just what I understand it to be. Sounds like a great wolf lodge for my northern folk. There you go. We have a great wolf up a Gravine Way. Oh, okay. Maybe that's just not northern. North Texas way.
Starting point is 00:13:56 Interesting. That's it. Pretty solid weekend. Oh, Kalahari. Randy? They used to call me John Kalahari. Because you were just addicted to water slides or what? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:13 Cripling addiction to water slides. I get it, man. They're fine. Yeah. Once I went down at one time, I had to run back up the steps and do it again. until they're like, sir, you, you got to, you got to just give it a break. I let the kids go. Yeah, you got, you got to get out of the pool, sir.
Starting point is 00:14:28 We got Kalamari at Red Lobster last week. How was there Kalamari? It was good. Yeah. I drafted it famously on my appetizers. You did. You did. Friday,
Starting point is 00:14:39 thank you. Kept it pretty chill. Just stayed in because the theme of this weekend was, Randy was just out there trying stuff. Of Saturday. Third person. Mm-hmm. Saturday.
Starting point is 00:14:50 I've been wanting to get some souvenir cups, the Austin souvenir cups, and wanted to start my frozen reviews, which if people, if you're following me, you saw my story that I did record them. So I think I'm going to edit. I got three coming at you. Three. You did three different frozen reviews. That was a little teaser. That was a little teaser.
Starting point is 00:15:08 Three frozen's. I only tried. I drank two frozen's tried Megan's. Can we, I had this thought because I knew you were going to do it. But can we, when you launch it, can you launch it whilst on the show? And then we can watch it and do a live reaction to Randy's first Frozen review. Wow. Wow.
Starting point is 00:15:28 Sure. It'll be like the world premiere. Remember how back in the day, it would be like, now the world premiere video, Michael Jackson, remember the time. Remember that one where they're all dressed like ancient Egypt and Magic Johnson's in it? A lot of celebs. He was probably before you were born. But we should watch it. So maybe tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Hey, hey, that's a great time to be part of the live audience on YouTube if we're going to be doing that tomorrow. Be part of history. Whoa. Yeah. This is the start of Randy's. I think this is next gen Randy. Frozen review, this is your wheelhouse. You'd be named to this series yet?
Starting point is 00:16:06 Randy rates frozen's. You don't think you'd get more traction with blendeds? I don't think so. I think that's what most people call. I'm not trying to get that West Coast audience. I famously picked East Coast. the West Coast, East Coast to date. Sorry, Che.
Starting point is 00:16:19 Damn. Yeah. Who's Che? I'm new here. Is it my friend from high school? So when I, when my wife and I got married, her name became Chelsea. Shivery, C-H-E-C-H-E. And so Che-C-C-C-E is kind of a nickname I gave her.
Starting point is 00:16:35 It's kind of corny. It's, you know, I know I understand that. So Che is, Che is a nickname for a nickname. Ah, I see. Nice. So we also went to the pop-up pirate bar that's on 15th. street there's a pop-up pirate there's a great sentence it is it is very well decorated in there cocktails are expensive though we'll tell you that much man we're all coughing and sneezing today
Starting point is 00:17:01 huh sorry you're on mute no oh yeah i wish i should have actually good producer would have uh so then and then also to to finish out my day of drinking um i had gotten something from the liquor store and because I made a joke that I was going to try it this weekend. I think everyone just thought I was joking. I tried a buzzball. And let me tell you, that shit sucks. Dude,
Starting point is 00:17:28 no way. I was hoping. I was hoping that maybe it would be good. And I got three of them. So I only drank one. And maybe I'll bring the other two in just for you guys to have a sit. No, don't.
Starting point is 00:17:38 Don't bring them in. It'll sit on my desk for like four years. But we'll do it live on the podcast. You guys just have a little sip. Everyone, if they don't do it, call them cowards. Call them cowards. If they don't do it. Call them cowards?
Starting point is 00:17:51 Call them cowards in the comments. And I think buzzballs, you're telling me that a thing they sell right near the cash register at the liquor store isn't good? Yeah. I did the strawberry margarita one and it was bad. I also, so I have the peach tea and the regular tequila rita one. See, you're going to hear from me. It would be like, oh, dude, you got to try like the cherry. one you tried the wrong one and then it's going to get you back in you know who drinks those i don't want
Starting point is 00:18:19 to keep giving him uh getting him distracted out there but yeah he's a buzzball guy he's a buzzball guy well they're bad i mean if randy says they're bad they're bad i think that uh he's he's in the chat he wants one uh it's monday morning yeah it just it didn't taste good it wasn't like overly sweet like you would think it was just i don't i'll bring him in and you could just try a sip so you could see. I'm going to do it. I'll bring them in. Can we do it not on the pod? Can we at least do the afternoon? Yeah, we can do that as additional video content. We also have video idea for you guys to do later. Jay and I. Old balls, try buzz balls. Ooh, I like it. That's good. Old heads. That's good. Oinks. So that was, that was Saturday.
Starting point is 00:19:08 then Sunday I went to go help one Dan register with some filming stuff some more of his softcore history not soft core other stuff softcore history You filmed a soft core video with Dan
Starting point is 00:19:25 their little book like skits do book shots skits I help book shots bookshop skit You did some book shots softcore They're like back shots? So I was I started one and I helped film dance. My character's a little mix of clavicular and Brian Johnson.
Starting point is 00:19:45 I think our fans will like it. I saw he got choked over the weekend, clavicular, unrelated to the softcore. Like sexually? No, got choked out in like a potential altercation. Where? I don't, I don't know. His lifestyle makes me uncomfortable. He's just been traveling the world.
Starting point is 00:20:00 He was like in Israel the other week. So I don't know. Was it in America? Was it in Miami? Or was he like? I clearly don't have much on me. other than I saw like a lot of my time on the timeline I was like yeah I can only get served so many videos of colliculars sitting between two attractive young women and making out with
Starting point is 00:20:16 both of them at the same time oh really you're jealous of the triple kiss it's just a little much I don't need to see he had a good uh he had a good tweet about it so this guy said this is the let me see if I can even read all this is the most p shit I've seen in a minute first of all looks maxer getting choke max by an old age pensioner and taking it like a good boy. Pensioner? Yeah, pensioner. Is that another word for like a woman?
Starting point is 00:20:43 Someone has a pension. That's good. I've never seen that. That's great. But also, clavicular quote tweeted it. I'd like, is typo.
Starting point is 00:20:51 I'd like to anyone hating to try to have the leverage required to Russell while wearing three inch of height inserts. We aren't playing the same game. It's a great response. All right. As we do,
Starting point is 00:21:03 we have to update everyone with the official Chad rankings. And of course, he is front page right now his little thing it's a clav choked by bald gooning unk okay why is he on why is he and he mountain him like and if you're wondering he did drop two spots and he is now number nine and the official Chad rankings that's not good he needs a w soon if he slips out of the top 10 and people are going to really start talking yeah then lay them up to five you're crying the climax king yeah it's my
Starting point is 00:21:37 Dog, dude. 5, dude. He's such a dog. Drogionic still, you know, number four. Good for him. Yeah. So. Dude, who's the current protagonist?
Starting point is 00:21:47 Is that Zeta? Zeta, yeah, number one, Zeta. Zeta? Zeta. I don't know anything about Zeta. I know somebody who does. Genetic Apex. My sister, she was a Zeta at TCU, actually, so.
Starting point is 00:21:58 Also, my co-host here. Zits, tits, and ass. That's what they used to say. ZTA. I didn't say. People said it. You just said it, though. I didn't say it.
Starting point is 00:22:09 People said it. Anyway. Not related to your sister whatsoever. Shout to my sister. Yeah. And we're going to act like they weren't the number one sorority when we were in college to like, if one, if one guy started dating one, it was like, bro, he's fucking dude. He's going to bring him around now. And did it ever happen like that?
Starting point is 00:22:29 They never came around. After I got out of there, I think it did. But not. They were the hot sorority for sure. Oh, yeah. dude uh yeah Nate stayed in one dude with the fucking Zeta bro so sick so he's she's bringing like couple friends and like they would pull up and like they weren't like she did bring a couple friends but they weren't even in a sorority she just stayed in the car it's like quink
Starting point is 00:22:52 they made an appearance it got out of there damn yeah no that goes so that was a sunday morning helped Dan out and then uh got the Terry blacks via 313 pizza put on my story people are wondering. So I tried that. It was good. It wasn't as heavy as I thought it was going to be. Hey, I'm completely out of the loop.
Starting point is 00:23:12 What's Terry Blacks? Terry Blacks is Texas barbecue here in Austin, Texas. And V-3-13 is Detroit-style pizza. And now you see they had the pizza and you had the barbecue and they collapsed. So what's the sauce? I think it was just cheap. I don't know if there was any marinara. But they drizzled barbecue on top.
Starting point is 00:23:34 So the barbecue is just a drizzle. It's not a base sauce? No. So it wasn't over barbecue sauce. But it was pretty spicy because they had pickled jalapinos. That's a spicy. Chelsea actually DM me saying that she was happy to see that I'm a fellow pineapple on pizza type of person. Really?
Starting point is 00:23:52 And I said, yeah. I said I am. I like to see that DM conversation. That was about it. How does that make you feel? Yeah. Do you know what we're referring to or had you just tuned out Randy's entire thing? I miss a last little part.
Starting point is 00:24:06 It was about the pizza and I don't know. I'm not interested in that pizza. Chelsea DM. Chelsea, your wife, DM did it? Yeah. Oh, did she? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:20 So it was really good. I'd recommend trying it. Okay. That's so che. How much, what was damage on it? 30 bucks for a small though. That's why it's like, it was good, but only. $30 four quarter pizza?
Starting point is 00:24:30 Yeah. Nah. Holy shit. Nah, man. What do they do it? We'll only do it once. It was worth trying, not going to do it again. It's not brisket.
Starting point is 00:24:39 Yeah. I thought it was brisket. No, it's jalapeno cheddar sausage. Oh, Terry Black's sausage is good. It is my favorite thing at Terry Blacks. I think, of course, there's much better brisket, but I think, like, Love Barbecue's sausage is not as good as Terry Black sausage, but their brisket's way better.
Starting point is 00:24:56 Okay. So, and then I did a little COVID-esque Zoom call with some of my old high school friends. It was kind of nice just getting, you know. Oh, really? COVID was nice. No. But the Zoom calls of just being able to catch up with people was nice. Backs. And that was about it.
Starting point is 00:25:12 That was my weekend. Do you do bits when you're on Zoom calls with your boys? I do have like a microphone kind of like this and a nice webcam just for because I play like Dungeon Dragons with my friends or play like or video games. And every single time everyone was like, oh, look at podcaster Randy with the setup. I'm like, it wasn't that expensive. The first time we did a happy hour live or maybe it was a second time. I got a new, I ordered like a nice new camera to have. And I mounted it on my computer and it looked really,
Starting point is 00:25:44 and I was really proud of it. But I was the only one in like a different frame. And as soon as like I popped on before the live, like in the lobby, like you or Will or maybe a commenter, like, you can't, you got to, you got to not use that. It doesn't look right because we're all like, we all have one view and you're like have like this far away. And I was like, fuck. I was like, this looks dope. I had it all ready to rock, too. I was like, oh, that didn't really matter.
Starting point is 00:26:09 I feel our lives were fun. Other than all of the sickness and death, those happy hour lives we had to do were fun. They were fun. Good times, man. Good stuff. What would you do? Well, I went on a hunt.
Starting point is 00:26:25 A hunts? Yeah. Saw that. I went to, I went to Pine House. Like, let's get to pizza. We hadn't been in Pine House in months. Went. pulled up in there it was overwhelming the place was slammed um walked in was like wow
Starting point is 00:26:44 target rich environment bro no other chicks there looked around didn't see any any honks damn you probably saw the story on circling back go follow it on instagram they probably got they probably got scared away by me um they moved the takeout spot it used to be in the back right no it's at front yeah um walked right by it walked to the back spot i made that same mistake before. And I walked up and I was all like, oh, I'm definitely here early. I'm going to get a beer while I'm waiting. Hell yeah. He's like, oh, the takeout spots up there. I was like, okay, I walked up and shit was just, I could see my name on the receipt. Damn. I was just like, no. One of my three or four gym friends, GYM, somebody that I have become, like if I see him,
Starting point is 00:27:31 I'll give him a head nod and sometimes we'll talk. He happens to work at Pine House. I didn't know that and he gave me a head nod and as i was walking out he hit me with like a token for like a free pizza what and that was very dope that's what i was like hell yeah so would that be playing your zah card with your pizza token if you don't have to pay for it it still counts randy still counts i'm gonna pretend i didn't hear the text is pretty clear on that you're saying is there unless you know of some like um rule that says you have to have to have a transaction. I don't know. That's why you're the one that knows this text. You're the lawyer. You're with it more. I didn't say you wrote it. Just saying that you're most familiar here to interpret it.
Starting point is 00:28:16 Yeah. I just didn't know if pizza token, you know, canceled out Zocard. No, man. Honestly, I kind of feel bad for platforming you at this point. I know, it's like this is, you know, I'm going to try to look up some precedent. I'm going to try to look up some precedent. You're the Fuentes of pizza. I'm going to go, I'm going to go to Chuck E. Cheese. And I'm going to see if there's any. I feel like Dave wrote the book, dude. He just interprets it. Well, this dude interpreted the book. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:28:40 Mm-hmm. So go to him. He's the source. We'll take it to trial. No, we're not. We're going to take it to trial? We're going to take it to trial. Going all the way, Supreme Court.
Starting point is 00:28:50 Hey, Supreme. Supreme, but like it's all the junk pizza, you know, like olives and peppers. That's not junk. We just called the garbage pizza because it was like all the fixings. All the fixings? Yeah. man big pool weekend for dave um went to uh we we had a so sammy had his first lesson swim lesson my youngest is two and a half you know it's it went like i thought it was going to go do you
Starting point is 00:29:19 think do you think the two and a half-year-old wanted to just get handed over to the coach in the pool lane be like all right here you go go have a good lesson that didn't work like dad dad got in the lane too it was a little i was like can i get in is that and she's like yeah so i get in there and there's like kid in there and I was she wouldn't she did Sammy would not go to her I basically like just did my own lesson that's pretty smart get two for one you got a swim lesson too yeah he got to learn how to swim too I mean for free no one was she wasn't holding me telling me to kick how funny would that be I was getting a swim lesson uh but you know it went he did better than I thought like he actually did the lesson I just had to like conduct it which was fun
Starting point is 00:30:03 paying full price still paying full price for it from there my wife and other son they met us up there so right when the pool opened at 10 so pool time for
Starting point is 00:30:18 so daddy was at the a pool from about 930 till about 1.30 it was a really long day snuck a nap in and then yesterday his roadie my oldest his tea ball team from the spring, they did a get together at the pool at 4 o'clock,
Starting point is 00:30:40 rent it out or rented a table or like a cabana. And yeah, we held down the pool from 4 to 6. Is this a new day? Or did you say that you were 930 to 1.30 and then back at 4? So this is day 2 of pool. And it was a long, I was outside quite a bit, very, very heavy sunblock. I still think I got a little sun. But I'm going hard on sunblock.
Starting point is 00:31:02 Have to trying to just block it out. But hit the slide. If you're a Lifetime South member and you, real ones know, the covered slide, the tube, you get a little, there's some zip on one of those terms. I told you, man. I told that one's faster. It's a good slide. Dylan told me.
Starting point is 00:31:22 It's one that you got to like, if you got sunglasses on or a hat, hold on. You're going on. You're going under. It's not like a, oh, ha ha, that was so fun. No. To the point to where yesterday, I had a kind of embarrassing moment. Whatever. You know, there's a lifeguard high school kid up there at the top. I'm in line by myself because Rhodes has been, he's like 10 in front of me. And I'm going. I'm like, I'm riding this slide and get up there. And there's no, there's two, two entry points. There's the open slide and then the cool one, the covered one. They both do the same thing, but only one of them is a tube. And I'm waiting. There's something. There's something. somebody waiting in the water to go down the covered one. And there's a wide open one right here, the uncovered one that no one's going to. And the live guard's like, hey, you can, sir, you can go to this one.
Starting point is 00:32:13 And I was like, no, I'm waiting for this one. Like, there's a reason I'm in this line, bud. I didn't, I didn't climb those 40 steps to go down this bitch-ass slide over here. Right. I want the ultimate. Yeah, you're back on them shoulder blades, man. And you really fire down. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:28 You got to, you got to know that position. Oh, yeah. The mummy. yeah Rhodes and his boys have discovered like that you can just go down on your belly facing the wrong you can do whatever you want really
Starting point is 00:32:44 and nobody says anything like lifeguards don't have any they don't care anymore not necessarily there I learned this at the J.W. Marriott their lifeguards on the slides they're mainly there as like a placeholder they're not like doing a lot of like all right arms folded over
Starting point is 00:33:02 feet crossed, they're not doing that. Like, they do it like real water parks. It's just kind of like a yeah, go on. They're just to make sure that like the person got out the bottom. Just like, all right, we don't want someone stuck in there and then send more people. Same number of people shoot out to start. Yeah. Just counting bodies.
Starting point is 00:33:19 Finish season two of the agency. I'm giving that my that is right there on the cusp of my highest recommendation. It is a good, really really good show. Two seasons. It's very easy. It's fast. The fast is in there fast bender perfect for him
Starting point is 00:33:35 and perfect role for him Richard Gears in it okay you understand is that the Virgin Mobile guy no Richard gear he's a pretty woman pretty woman guy
Starting point is 00:33:49 among other things mothman runaway bride elementary school rumors boom boom boom boom boom Richard Branson is Virgin Mumble
Starting point is 00:34:05 You confuse Richard Branson with Richard Gear? They're both Richards. Anyway. Yeah, it's a little CIA slop. It's a little propaganda. But it's a good show. It is a good, it is a well-done show. So if you like to hit me up, you want to talk about it,
Starting point is 00:34:23 you don't have to do like, it's not worth a think piece or anything, but it is fun. It's a fun show. Trying to get Alyssa on it. And that's, you know, that's that. I don't want to bore you guys too much. A lot of lounge. A lot of pool.
Starting point is 00:34:36 Good for you, man. So like a solid family weekend. You know what? Let me end it with this. Saturday night, I want to put a bow on it. I watched the final fight of one of my favorite fighters of all time. DeSoto, Texas, his own, Errol Spence, his final fight. He didn't know at the time as his final fight.
Starting point is 00:34:53 I kind of had the inclination that it might be. And he took the L, and he's clearly compromised. Anybody who's followed boxing, no, he had. He hadn't fought in three years. His last fight was against arguably the goat, the modern goat, after Floyd, Bud Crawford, which he lost handedly. And Errol got into a car accident, a really, really bad one, was thrown out of a vehicle probably five years ago, maybe six years ago. Could be longer. And want some big fights after that, but was clearly never the same. And in this one going in, it just didn't look. you're kind of worried about it. You just don't want him to go out sad
Starting point is 00:35:36 and get hurt or anything. But it was his last fight he announced. He said, that was that. So just want to say, shout out to him. He's been a great, a great fighter, a good name in the sport, and a good representative of the southwest Dallas County suburbs. So shout out to Errol Spence.
Starting point is 00:35:55 Okay. Shout out. Shout out to our good friends at Lucy. Premium, 100% tobacco-free, Pouch is made for true pouch connoisseurs like Dylan. Dylan's got the breaker in. I can smell it over here. That old apple ice.

Starting point is 00:36:22 without the flavor capsule inside. If that's more your thing. Or the gum, which knows some guys in the office love the gum. As little as two milligram. Yes. Love the gum. I go mango.

Starting point is 00:37:16 Oh, you want to do a little sports tidbits? You got lots of sports action. Randy, pull up the Lucas Glover clip I sent you. This was funny. This is from the 3am yesterday. Before you play, let me give a little context. So Lucas Glover, U.S. Open winner, arguably the sweatiest guy on tour
Starting point is 00:37:39 kind of unc status for the PGA tour he's in his 40s I like him he just kind of seems like a dude doesn't put up with bullshit he's been very outspoken against aim point aim point is a method of reading a put that is often slow and often
Starting point is 00:37:55 it's yeah it's a lot of standing over like standing over the line and like stepping up and feeling the and just yeah but also like walking up like toward the hole and like standing there and like it slows whatever a lot of people do it i do people dislike it because it's slow or because they're stomping around the whole both
Starting point is 00:38:16 yes um but it is it is this this one right where people are doing this on the green am i crazy you can do that yeah it's more of like a it's kind of like i'm trying to think who's like a Good. Adam Scott does it. Quite famously, I believe. Did his playing partner do it? Was he showing up his playing partner here? Well, fun fact. Play the video, Randall. And this is him putting out.
Starting point is 00:38:46 For Birdie. Yeah, it looks like nothing unusual here. Doesn't get the ball out of the hole, walks to the fringe, takes his shoes off. Typically don't do that, but those things on Maine. extremely outspoken about his dislike for aim point and how close the players are getting to the hole while they're using this aim point and aim point expressing i guess it just pulled over lucas has had enough he's shoes off okay so he just walks out it's very performative those are dope what's going to about golf a lot recently pause it real quick so everybody is like immediately even the commentators are like oh yeah this is like he's he's been outspoken against aim point this is an aim point protest
Starting point is 00:39:24 Fun fact, it wasn't that at all. Lucas afterwards said on Twitter, responded to somebody's Instagram or Twitter post that the group behind him had complained about metal spikes being around the hole and causing spike marks. And he said he was singled out. So he is actually being extremely passive, aggressive toward the group behind him who was complaining about him potentially in his metal spikes, causing some bumps spikes around the hole. spike marks. I thought that was funny. A lot, but funny.
Starting point is 00:40:02 Oh, I respect it. Now, spikes, they're not outlawed. Have they ever been outlawed metal spikes on a golf course? I know some courses won't let you wear them, but not, I think you're good. Let's see on tour. It used to be the only thing available before the... I have a very, very vivid memory of my dad coming home
Starting point is 00:40:22 from playing golf on a son. Sunday and walking into our kitchen on our like tile floor, whatever it was and like that clank cut you he wouldn't take them off you just stopping through the kitchen. Oh yeah. One of the best sounds in sports is metal baseball cleats on pavement. I miss it. It was great. You remember the Bryson walking behind Brooks interview with the clanking on that sound. Is that the I roll video? Yeah, that's the one. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:40:55 yeah, it's that same sound, dude. Yeah, I guess AI overview will tell you most place, most public courses won't let you wear, uh,
Starting point is 00:41:03 metal spikes. I guess some guys are still doing it. I'm probably good. I have, I have a spikeless pair and a spiked pair. Do you? Neither are metal, not metal though.
Starting point is 00:41:13 My new ones are, my new ones are foot joy, but they're not metal spikes. Um, did you like, uh, Did you like Mike Vrabel pulling up to camp his press conference with the force field? The force field.
Starting point is 00:41:32 That's exactly what it was, right? So Mike Vrable, of course, had quite the offseason with the whole Diana Rusini situation and the affair that went on there. Are we still saying alleged or is it like a confirmed either way? He had an interesting offseason. Yeah, he had a press conference and he brought a puppy to it. to take the attention off of the receding situation. Yeah. He can't bring that everywhere, though, right?
Starting point is 00:41:59 He's going to have to eventually face the music. It's so, it's so, like, it's so, it's, it's unbecoming. It's just like, dude. It's pretty sorry. And of course, it has a jersey on, the puppy that is. Yeah, this is sorry. You can't ask me about my affair. I have a puppy here.
Starting point is 00:42:26 Oh, really? You're going to bring that up and I got this little puppy. Hey, Mike, cute puppy, what about the rescini situation? Any distractions you're worried about, like, working its way into camp this year? Look at the puppy. You see this fucking dog? Look at the puppy. You see this bitch right here?
Starting point is 00:42:40 Who's a cute boy? Who's a good boy? Everyone, tell him. Tell him he's a good boy. Yeah, dude, that's a force field. What are you doing? That's a force-filled puppy. That puppy had a job.
Starting point is 00:42:51 I don't like it when people get performative dogs. Dude, how about, how about Herb Street replacing his dog that passed away? like the next week. People, I saw a lot of Herb Street comps. I don't know what Herb Street was, was trying to do with, with his dog.
Starting point is 00:43:08 If he, because he didn't have any, like, scandals. I think he was just like, just the dog guy. But it was like, it was really sad. The dog got old,
Starting point is 00:43:17 passed away. It was really sad story. You got a lot, then huge outpouring of support from the college football world. A lot of people on X, the everything app, turned on him.
Starting point is 00:43:26 And then he showed up to game day, the next, the next Saturday morning. morning was a replacement dog. It looked just like the first one. You just, what do we do? Herbst Street's a weird guy. Is he? I don't know. I've always thought that we know that he's sensitive. He blocked Will on Twitter for a very harmless joke, which is I thought was a good joke. Yeah. I can't remember what it was, but it was good. It was. Herb Street said that so and so, I don't know who the player was, literally left his heart out on the field that night. Ah, yes.
Starting point is 00:43:58 And Will said, is he going to be able to play? And Herbstree blocked him. That's like, so soft. That's the ultimate, like, he realized like, man, I really said, I really left myself open for that one. Like, that was a, that was an L on my part. Like, and then he just saw that first one and just was just like, fuck it. I don't know. Literally left his heart on the show.
Starting point is 00:44:21 He was just like mad. He was more mad at himself there than he was at Will's tweet. You're right. Here's the thing. Will could have also been like one of like a thousand. and people that kind of that he just was like just blocking everyone at that point just fucking like a block that's so soft like you know he gets much more hate thrown his way on social media than that anyway i don't like i don't know i just so is this puppy going to be with him everywhere
Starting point is 00:44:48 that's what i'm saying like you can't you can't bring the puppy to every press conference right like is this going to be like the the rallying cry like the patriots team it's like they have to go rub yeah what's the dog's name? I think it's Beebe. Got to go pat BB's head before he run out on the field. Yeah, they, like, they just lost and the reporter runs up to him on the field. He's like, one second, one second. He goes to the stand and gets his puppy. He's like, okay, let's go. Oh, really? You're going to bring that up now? I got this puppy here. You can't ask me about Rossini. You're laughing. I'm literally holding a puppy and you're laughing. Vrabel, man. Come on, man. Come on, man. Damn.
Starting point is 00:45:24 Was he, I assume he was asked about the, the stuff. Or did it work? I don't know. I don't know, I don't know anything about the press comments other than he brought a puppy to it. So that's what we're talking about. You didn't watch his presser? No. I like calling them pressers.
Starting point is 00:45:39 Yeah. Oh, well. Bro, football season can't get here soon enough. That's so true. I am pretty excited. I'm pretty excited for them. I'm so horny for football. I'm pretty excited for NFL.
Starting point is 00:45:55 Can I do my, my Dillon impression? Dude, we are less than a week away for being in a month where college football is playing. Dude, that's so true. That was pretty good, Randy. It's so true. Just a few more days than we're in the month where football starts. Think about that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:13 Randy, you work that. Keep working on that. We have the, not this week, but next, the Hall of Fame game. I think it's like that soon. There's some shit like that. It's always one that's early. later than you want you're like oh this is a game that no one cares about but i guess i'll watch for a few minutes it's like i guess i want to watch will greer get some throws in shout out to
Starting point is 00:46:35 will greer we're tired yeah now qb now assistant offensive assistant or something related to richard no no unrelated but a fun a really fun a really fun college football player yeah he was good yeah he took it to stuck it to my boys in austin that's for sure speaking of uh college football highlights did you Have you seen the clip of Tavon Austin showing his kid highlights? No, but that sounds awesome. It's pretty dope. How olders, kids? Bro, it'll hit you in the fields.
Starting point is 00:47:06 Are they old enough to get it? Like, damn, my dad was a dog. I think so. He was nasty at West Virginia, man. It'll hit you right in the fields. Shut up. And I'm not crying. You're crying.
Starting point is 00:47:24 Is someone cutting onions in here? because this video of Tavon Austin is making me cry. I'm doing headlines. I'm doing headlines from 2014 to 2019. We've all been there. Showing highlights of our... Look.
Starting point is 00:47:39 Yeah, Pat McAfee just gets to show his new album. He's going to have... That's right. He's got some highlights. That's true. Why are we just going heavy on... Are we just going to do the West Virginia?
Starting point is 00:47:52 Just keep going through... That's a good point. I bet Ray didn't even know Pat Mac if he went to West Virginia. I do now. I did. I wouldn't have been able to pull it, but I do remember he went to West Virginia.
Starting point is 00:48:03 How old is his son? Like, is he old enough to be like, oh, yeah, actually saw this on my girlfriend's YouTube history. Probably not. That's good, Randy. It's actually his daughter, but way to assume gender there, Bub.
Starting point is 00:48:21 Deduct one ally point. Oh, damn it. All right. Next tidbit. He's ready to move on. Romo got a OWI. What does that stand for? Operating long talk skating.
Starting point is 00:48:42 Yeah, I just figured it out myself. In Wisconsin. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. It's a civil offense. How is that a civil offense? Carries a fine of $150 to $300. And a driver's license revocation,
Starting point is 00:48:57 revocation or revocation of six to nine months. Nice, dude. Nice. What if it was he driving? And a mandatory alcohol assessment. What's that mean? They're just like, they're like,
Starting point is 00:49:10 come here. They're just identify these different alcohols. What do you, what do you've been, like give me like the last month? Like, what do you drink? What's like your go to?
Starting point is 00:49:18 And they're just assessing you. Like, wasn't it after a tournament? Yeah, a golf tournament. And he had a bad, I think it was a tough horse. Some kind of midam, something or other qualifier. 24 over or some shit.
Starting point is 00:49:29 Apparently a hard, the tweet that told us that made, made it known. it was a hard course. He was playing tough that day. He's just like us, man. Except for the driving or intoxicated. Can I tell you something about that?
Starting point is 00:49:43 The trend of when a professional golfer hits a bad shot, they're like, one of us, that's one that I'm like, all right, I think we're good there. I didn't know that was a trend. It's across all golf outlets like to do it. Hell, I've probably said it. But it's just at this point, it's like, well, it is. Yeah, we're good. It is nice when they shame.
Starting point is 00:50:04 one. It's very rare, but it's nice to know that even, even they do it. Did you see Coybin's drive on 18 yesterday? No, I didn't. I saw his chin. That dude's got some game, by the way. He was unbelievable. But his drive on 18, he was up three, so he clearly had like a large cushion. He was, he was going to win unless he just completely melted down. Very nervous on 18. And he didn't quite top it, as it did get off the ground, but he caught it with just like the bottom part of the face of the driver. Skinned it a little bit. He hit it 240.
Starting point is 00:50:40 It was the shortest drive on that hole all week. Dang, dude, I would take that. He did find the fairway, however. 240 in the fairway? Yeah, you can do a lot worse. And he pared the hole. I guess he's not one of us. He's not.
Starting point is 00:50:53 He's much better than we are. Dude, if I had that shot, sorry. Shut off. What would you shoot? What would you shoot at Augusta right now? my god dude from the tips dude i swear like i'm not breaking like 150 no there's no dude it's dude you understand make it make sense dude the undulations of those greens like they're you have to go
Starting point is 00:51:15 there to realize like every shot is on like the side of a hill or like a downslop dude it's like putting on your garage floor like it's just so fucking oh i just got my email from the masters hang on good luck dude come let the boys know i'm gonna cron we'll let the boys know i don't let the boys know i get it this year. But if you did get it, you could, like, probably email your favorite podcasters letting them know that you did get to go.
Starting point is 00:51:45 We wronged that guy. That's so funny. He was nice in the follow-up email. We apologize. We were just messing. Hey, enjoy that Monday practice round. Get you some pictures, man. Take a pick with the film camera
Starting point is 00:51:56 and send it to us. We'll put it on the fridge. Yeah. I don't know, maybe. We could. We had a lot of shit on that fridge. Anyway. Yeah, Romo, though, got a D-D-D.
Starting point is 00:52:06 or a Odub. Anyway. So, like, what was the... How much community service did you have to do when you got your DWJ? Mm-hmm. Drinking while jogging? Nope.
Starting point is 00:52:21 That's not it. Driving well... Jack. Yeah, I know the joke, man. I was just trying to skirt around. He was driving while joking. Because this... You were joking or chay-cha too much.
Starting point is 00:52:33 And they're like, sir, uh... Sorry back there. I don't want too many jokes. Shout out to JJ, man. Sir, do you have any idea how many jokes you told in the last couple hundred yards? How do they keep track? How do they track that? Sir, your belly laughing too much.
Starting point is 00:52:48 You are all over the road. I am pretty funny in the car. Yeah, I bet it's really funny when you've got your hands atop of the wheel on 360. Texan, joking. With your fucking. Doing 85. Janky-ass thumbs. How are your thumbs, by the way?
Starting point is 00:53:03 Dude, they're like 10% better. I've been resting them. You've been doing some rice? Yeah, I've been putting them in rice every night. Just a tub. Rest, ice, compression, compression, elevation. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:20 Oh, I thought you meant like rice. Now, I don't know what that would do. Maybe, like, work on your grip strength. Just put it in rice and... I think there's something to that. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know which sports...
Starting point is 00:53:35 which sport it helps but i think some people have done it probably one that you've got a black belt in karate yeah i don't i think you know i don't do karate i don't fucking know what you do i think you know that i don't do karate jesus i don't know golly excuse me for assuming you did a cool thing guess he doesn't do karate put that on running out of cool shit dude dillon doesn't do karate anymore. Did you ever? Carate. No, fuck no. Tony's got to be, he's got to chill. He's not, he's not at like a tiger level or it's like, dude, you should just never drive. Like, why would you ever get behind the wheel? But he probably felt like he was a home game, you know, isn't he from that area? He's not from Wisconsin, right? But he is, he did vacate. I don't know. I'm conflady. I know he
Starting point is 00:54:30 went to eastern Illinois. Where's Rome's from? Is he from Wisconsin? I should know this. Yes, Burlington, Wisconsin. Burlington, yeah, home of the Co-Factor. Born in San Diego, but grew up in Burlington. There you go.
Starting point is 00:54:41 He probably was like, I'm back home. You're always 17 in your home state. I'm just going to, I'm going to have a few. I'm probably have like 28 beers after my 35 over. So who knows? Don't do that. Okay? Okay.
Starting point is 00:54:55 Call an Uber. Could you call? I guess you could, in theory. call an Uber and be like, just load your clubs in the trunk. Of course. I've never, I've never done that, but that someone has done that. Of course. Many people have done that surely, surely. More sports coming up, but right now I want to say, shout out to our good friends at Ridge Wallet. Dylan, man, I love that you're getting better at texting. I love that you're getting better at not having that big old ham sandwich wallet. Chunky boy. That big old loaf of bread wallet.
Starting point is 00:55:27 The big old chunkster. You've moved on to the Ridge Wallet. wallet. That big all, now you've got preview of materials like aluminum titanium and carbon fiber. Literally the last wall you'll ever have to buy. And that is true. That thing has been through it all.

Starting point is 00:56:37 Okay. Delon, what's going on at UNC football? It might be time just to throw the whole program in the trash and start again. No. She never got rid of Mac. Michael Lombardi, who is the general manager of the North Carolina football team, a longtime friend of Bill Belichie. at a nice run in the NFL.
Starting point is 00:57:02 Respected, revered, GM has been let go. Well, sorry, he's on paid leave, paid administrative leave pending an investigation. So he's getting paid to not go to work? Sign me up. I don't know if this is a 10-year investigation. Like, what is that a reference to? I'm here. A 10-year investigation on what? Check out circling back on touching base. But it is an investigation.
Starting point is 00:57:23 Apparently, someone filed an HR complaint against him. And he is on paid leave at the moment. Huh. So that yields results, huh? Interesting. I feel like somebody in this room has filed many. Me. I wonder if Jordan, the girlfriend of Bill Belichick, has her fingerprints on this somewhere.
Starting point is 00:57:45 That's probably unfair speculation. I'm just thinking out loud here. Keep going. Pull it the thread. Dave's demonstrating what it would look like to pull on a thread right now. That's more like a rope, man. That's big. It's a rick.
Starting point is 00:58:05 Yeah, I think I think... This program... What a disaster. This program's a mess. I want to... I kind of want them to be... In the mix.
Starting point is 00:58:18 I like it when shit, like, like... The chaos turns into, like, a good season. You have, like, Bill Belichick. It would be fun. Yeah. Yeah. I would mind that. I would rather them...
Starting point is 00:58:30 I would rather him win nine... nine or ten games. I have no beef whatsoever with that program. Yeah, I'm not rooting for a complete failure, but although I will say that it was one of the most odd ways to start your tenure as a college football coach. Just getting a young cheerleading girlfriend who is objectively sick. Who's walk around with the walkie-talkie at practice, like very much a part of the whole operation. I don't think she has an official role with the university, but she's very much a part of it. What's her last name, Jordan what? There had to have been some. like some kid with the team or some like offensive analysts that didn't know was a little bit out of the loop that was like walked up and saw his girlfriend out on the field with walkie-talkie all dressed up you know she's hot and like made a comment in front of bill like damn who's that what the walkie talking when we hired her right looking around and everybody's like oh oh shit oh yeah right oh i think they got the heads up before she set foot out there if you google her name Jordan hudson by the way
Starting point is 00:59:33 It just says American cheerleader. Like, that's what the internet knows her as. What's wrong with that? I think there's more two or than that. She's a grown one. Oh, she's like 25. She's like 25. What would you, what would you have, if you went on a hypothetical, um, Tinder date with her.
Starting point is 00:59:53 Okay. Would that conversation be a flowing one? Mm-hmm. But there'd be a lot of dialogue, a lot of back and forth, like a real, give and take. When I was doing the hinge thing, I set my age parameters to 10 years younger than me. So 35, if I was 35, I'd start at 25. I was 40, I'd start at 30. Yeah, I don't know if I'd sat down with a 25 year old right now. I don't know what we would talk about. The war. Those balls. Chearleading. Buzz balls. Yeah. Balloonies. Have you heard of these guys?
Starting point is 01:00:37 I like the idea of Dylan's sitting down. And he pulls the chair. He's a gentleman. Of course. How are you? And like the waiter comes over. We're going to look at it for a few more minutes, I think. And you're just like, so buzz balls.
Starting point is 01:00:51 What's up with these things? You try these? And she's just like, no, I don't even really know. I honestly just, I typically just drink wine. I don't really. And you're like, oh, well, and so you're obligated to kind of explain it. And you're just like, yeah, it's like, all over the internet, these drinks.
Starting point is 01:01:09 Like, I think it's kind of like they're so bad, they're good situation. Our intern drinks, some. Yeah, it's really weird. He's young. You like wine, though. Me too. I'm kind of a whino myself.
Starting point is 01:01:18 You know, like, clavicular, right? You're like that age range, right? Clavicular. You've seen this? He's about the fall of the top ten. Yeah. Chads. Who's your favorite Chad?
Starting point is 01:01:28 She's just not online. She's just like, Zeta. I don't know. I've been working for Deloitte for Stahas in college. I don't really have a lot of time. I'll work like seven. 70 hours a week.
Starting point is 01:01:38 Like, oh, well. So you don't know about Daba Gha? You see that? Let me show you a video. Let me show you a video. Check it out. Are you leveraging Claude? Oh, sorry.
Starting point is 01:01:49 In your profession? Let me get my, let me get my phone out here. Sorry. Hold on. My thumbs. I'm logged in my podcast. A little sore.
Starting point is 01:01:56 I'm logged into my podcast account. Hang on one seconds. Okay. Here it is. Oh, yeah. Somebody Photoshop my face onto a hot dog who's sunning his asshole. So the takeaway here is I'm actually more immature than the 25 years old that I'm dating.
Starting point is 01:02:10 Okay. She's okay. Got it. She's just not online. She's living a boring life. She's not in the trenches like we are. Shout out Jordan Hudson, though. I don't know what they talk about.
Starting point is 01:02:27 I mean, it's Bill Belichick. I don't think he has riveting conversations with anything. I'll be honest. They did a great job of not being on our radar for like five months. That's true. I hadn't thought about them. Well, camp starts back up here in about a week. Is he going to bring a puppy?
Starting point is 01:02:40 Oh, I don't know. Is he like puppies? Can Bill Belichick fake liking of a dog? He's Shirley. He's like, is he the type of guy who would like respect the dog or not like the dog because it's too, you know, the old, the meet the parents bit of the dog and seeking your, yeah, being too thirsty for affection. Cats, cats don't need your affection.
Starting point is 01:03:00 Yeah. They just want to do their own thing. It's true. You think they're at the wedding? Who? He's a big Swifty. And he's a belly? And he is a football coach.
Starting point is 01:03:09 I think they just, like, carpet-bombed invitations. They just sent them to everyone who's famous. Yeah, we didn't get to invite us here. That's Bill finding out that he's not invited to the wedding. Dylan, I heard your hinge date with Jordan back in the day didn't go so well. Yeah, Bill, sorry, she's all years now, man. Did you show her the Navigat guy? Yeah, she didn't, she wasn't familiar.
Starting point is 01:03:32 She's not very online. She wasn't impressed with it. I know. It didn't go well. Yeah. I like the idea of sitting down. it'd be like, if you see this dat big guy? It's all over my, it's, dude, it's my entire timeline right now.
Starting point is 01:03:44 Okay, if you haven't seen- You just pull up memes? You've definitely seen Jimothy, right? Look at this little scamp. Jimothy's made its way to like the non-online culture of like, like, there's people who like they follow like puberty or like, you know, those accounts where it's like, they're getting the like heavily filtered. One of my buddies I was on my Zoom call with on Sunday lives in Seattle. And he's like, I left for a weekend, like on a weekend trip and came back. everything in Seattle was Jimothy everywhere.
Starting point is 01:04:11 So they're embracing him. Damn. Is that where he was? Was he in Seattle? He lives in Seattle? He lives in Seattle. He was like he left for a weekend and came back and it was just Jimothy everywhere. He lives there.
Starting point is 01:04:23 You call Seattle home. Somebody's going to like kidnap Jimothy. Yeah. Oh, for sure. There's going to be. There's going to be some kick streamer. Because kick streamers tend to do like the shittiest things as we learned. There's going to be a kick streamer.
Starting point is 01:04:38 who goes they're going to try to domesticate jimithy yeah and people are going to be like this isn't good and they're going to have to send like uh they're going to send a swat team to like get jimithy back i hope that doesn't happen what's the what's the animal organization pita yeah pita's gonna get peter what were they about to come off after they were coming after you for something i don't know it was a skunk it was a skunk tweet yeah or skunk something i didn't hear from from peter yeah you got skunk to you started paddling one of your boys bare bottoms around the house. They're going to throw blood all over your naked body.
Starting point is 01:05:11 Yeah. That's what they do. You know that, right? Just going to direct them to my dad's house. They wait. They'll hide. I didn't kill the skunk. Skunk died of my dad's trap.
Starting point is 01:05:20 Died of natural causes. Dinosauron. Poor skunk. Poor skunk. That stinks. We're back. It's a comedy show, Dylan. We do jokes sometimes, Dylan.
Starting point is 01:05:36 What's wrong? Just get through it, Dylan. Just get through it. You're almost there. That was a bubble. lovely drink right there. What's up with LeBron? LeBron went to Philly.
Starting point is 01:05:54 Right? Turns out he's going to live in New York City. So let me expose myself here. Please don't do it. One thing that to a Texan that I know, but I don't, it doesn't fully sink in until I travel up there is how the proximity of the eastern seaboard, the big cities, the, kind of wild. The mega-opolis.
Starting point is 01:06:18 We're from Texas. the cities are far apart. Big, big state, a lot of big cities, but you got to drive hours. San Antonio is the closest one, about hour and a half. Pekas is like seven hours. Pekas is very far away.
Starting point is 01:06:31 But yeah, Philly, when we flew into New York City, we passed by Philly. Like, oh, there's fucking Philly right there. Yeah. It's like Waco to Dallas-ish. Yeah. That's how it feels.
Starting point is 01:06:42 Anyway. Apparently, he's going to just chop her in to work. Go on, do it. Sorry. He's going to take a chop. Chappo. Yeah, I know the obvious people are, people are worried. Yeah. I mean, also it just seems like a kind of a, is it not kind of a pain in the ass? Like every, like for every day, like almost every day during the season. Why didn't you just play for,
Starting point is 01:07:07 you know, Brooklyn or the Knicks? You want to live in New York City. I feel like they don't, the Knicks don't need them. I just don't, I don't understand Philadelphia as someone who has recently stayed there on the main line, actually. There's a lot of beautiful places outside of Philly. I'm not trying to take a chopper every day to work, man. That's what I'm saying. Like, you got to get in, you got to put the, you got to put the head hedy's on. He's on.
Starting point is 01:07:33 He's on. Mr. James, are you doing it, sir? And it's all its high stress. That just don't seem safe. It's not like a PJ where you get in and it's quiet. Like a helie, I feel like. It just seem unsafe. Have you ever been in one?
Starting point is 01:07:45 Never. I hope to never get in. I don't like I've been in one. almost i used to want to do the one it goes uh there's the niagara falls tour like but yeah i'd be sick we just did the mate of the mist um yeah i don't know man i i get want to i would yes i would rather i don't know he's a he's a man with a wife and a family right yeah i don't know so it's about a two hour drive depending of course where you go in and whatever but it's about a 33 to 45 minute helicopter ride.
Starting point is 01:08:24 So still commute. Yeah. Just live in Philly. They're nice places in Philadelphia, dog. Are there? If you want to visit New York, take a chopper in New York visit and come back. Don't live there. Just watch out for those playgrounds in West Philadelphia.
Starting point is 01:08:41 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, we've all seen the show, man. Just doing jokes, man. Are you? What is this? What are you thinking is a comedy? He's taking shots like LeBron, dude.
Starting point is 01:08:52 Or like when I was on the basketball court. A couple guys started making trouble for me. Is that how you shoot? Then what happened? You shoot like this? Yeah, I go like this. That's good, dude. You sit down.
Starting point is 01:09:05 We'll start. We're going to do the, we'll just start with the bread. And then, yeah, we need a couple minutes. You're like, sit down and just looking at your phone. I'm just like, oh, man. Interesting. Oh, just got a cameo request. She's like, what's cameo?
Starting point is 01:09:22 you're back on the date i mean it's like have you seen dave's cloud nine shot it's nasty oh yeah we had to do this video i had to hit this the shot that i was famous for growing up a u ball it's called a cloud nine man i really i would god it's indefensible podcasters must clean up on uh on hinge they just get in there and talk about themselves i don't think podcasting is like a desirable career for someone who's on the app. To be honest, when, like, I was going on hinge dates, I would try to get as far into my job until I mentioned that I was a podcast. Why are you so ashamed of us?
Starting point is 01:10:03 Because it's, it's one of those things like, yes, we're podcasters with an actual, like, job when we go to it. But like, every fucking tech idiot bro has their own podcast. Like, oh, I'm doing a podcast. Like, I always had to explain. Like, well, I do podcasts. Like, we actually, it's like, you're like, but it's like not one. you're thinking.
Starting point is 01:10:22 How many times have you said that? I've just pretty much had to explain like, but it's like a legit podcast, like we actually can do full time. I don't like that both of you guys are just ashamed to talk about this on first days. It's not that we're ashamed of our podcasts. We're ashamed of all the other douchebags doing podcasts.
Starting point is 01:10:36 Hey, I'll tell you what, there was a lot. When we started doing podcasts, there was a lot less. I'll tell you that. Uh, man, put a tariff on podcast equipment, right? Oh, dude.
Starting point is 01:10:46 Exactly. Make it, uh, more expensive. usually people always like oh that's cool i'm like oh yeah i guess and then you show which episode do you show them you're like all right well this one so like there's this ongoing joke that one of the guys is a hot dog but he also was a president or ran for president as the hot dog and we talked one time about people who son their um buttocks and he also has a bet that he never paid off about bleaching his butthole and then that's like some bleaching about that angle it all comes together in this uh beautiful Also, me, oh, dude, John, you sit down and you're like, here's a video of Mia Khalifa slapping me.
Starting point is 01:11:23 No, I wouldn't do any of this on a day. None of this. That's a good video. It's honestly just a good slapping. She got me good, man. Just a good slap. She stunned me. You did.

Dylan watched a – is this a movie? I watched a movie. Yes. I watched a movie with Kevin Hart. This is on Netflix. All right.
Starting point is 01:12:58 It's called 72 hours. I'm completely unfamiliar with this movie. Man, I don't know what it... Okay. Old or new? New. No. So I think I think I've reached an assessment of my movie viewing.
Starting point is 01:13:17 I think I'm just like a movie stupid. I'm music's stupid but in a different way I'm music stupid in that like I don't recall names of artists or songs right I can recognize a song
Starting point is 01:13:32 like I've listened that a thousand times I don't know who the hell sings it right that's music stupid movie stupid and that like the dumbest shit entertains me like this is not a good movie I wouldn't I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone but I laugh my ass off there I mean
Starting point is 01:13:48 who else is in it right pull up The only other person who's, okay, who's the guy who plays the, he's in Oceans 11 and he's the hotel owner, that guy. You know what I'm talking about? It's a lot of SNL people. Mike Epps is in it. Zach Cherry from the guy who played the thing, Bad Bunny's cousin and Happy Gilmore 2 is in it. That's the only thing I know him as.
Starting point is 01:14:18 Marcelo Hernandez. Yeah, that guy. Yeah. Tiana Taylor. So he joins this bachelor party in Miami. And he's like a he's kind of a baller. He makes he makes good money. These kids are broke. So he's like, I'm going to go to this is Kevin Hart. Yeah. I'm going to go. I'm going to pay. I'm put you up in this badass mansion. And so they're there and just shit just doesn't go right. They accidentally steal a bunch of cocaine from like a Miami drug lord. And they want it back and they go on this they go on this adventure together. And it's, I mean, it's not good. but it's funny it's funny and i really liked it 14% rotten tomatoes i'm telling you man i'm just movie dumb i i i'm just so easily entertained by these shit movies that's why i like all those those corny like hallmark christmas movies you know are those funny the hallmark the hallmark yeah sometimes okay like hot hot frosty it's really bad you sent me something similar to that on slack what was it hot who's carl who's carl
Starting point is 01:15:21 the dungeon crawler what i don't i don't you send me shit um yeah i don't i'm not gonna watch this but i know i wouldn't recommend it oh yeah tiana taylor's in it too i know is she uh the tiana the redhead guy ben marshall he's in s andl he's part of like the like do not destroy comedy skit group like the current current lonely island people sure and the guy from severance Zach Cherry. Indeed. And Nacho from Better Call Saul. Yeah, Nacho.
Starting point is 01:15:54 Michael Mando. Yeah. I like Michael Mondo. Listen, if you're out of, if you're out of options. Don't fucking watch this. If you're out of options, like, I just want a cheap laugh. Turn this on. You're going to get a thrill.
Starting point is 01:16:09 14%, man. It's going to tickle you. I don't know, man. It just seems kind of long. Kevin Hart, he's forced to do. cocaine and he takes on this character. He goes by Ricardo Montana and it's a funny character.
Starting point is 01:16:24 That's so, Kevin. Yeah. Anyway. Hey, I watched episode one of the Hawk last night as part of my wind down from a house. You liked it. Dragon, that is, not House. I watched The Hawk. Just one episode.
Starting point is 01:16:41 Am I going to continue watching it? Yes or no? Yes. No. Probably not. Was it as bad as I thought it was going to be? No. Dude, I'm seeing, I'm seeing to get love on Twitter.
Starting point is 01:16:52 Well, everything I saw up until we did our segment was not just negative. It was like Will Ferrell is not coming back from this one. And it was some people, I, you know, it was like, oh, I tend to agree maybe with that, with them on stuff like this. I watched it. It wasn't, it wasn't horrible. It was Will Ferrell, but it wasn't such a bad attempted old Will Ferrell humor that it was like awkward. It was just, it wasn't, the thong song thing in context wasn't as bad as I had pictured it when you told me about it. It is a weird moment and it is over the top and you are kind of watching it.
Starting point is 01:17:35 You're like, they'd never let this happen on the corn fairy tour. Also him like showing up to his tea time. Yeah. Yeah. It's not as bad as I thought. I probably, there's a great, I'm not going to continue watching it. Okay. I'm not recommending it, but also, like, if you, if you, if you like it, it's not the worst thing.
Starting point is 01:17:58 I saw that Barstow Big Cat recommended it on Twitter, but then I was, I remember that he and Tateau. Like, they've had Tateau on their show a bunch, so they can't, they couldn't dog it even if they thought it was shitty. Okay. I strict that one from the record. So I forgot, even though we had just talked about it. And I knew we literally had a conversation about him being in it. When they introduced his character and it's him on the cycle and it's just his back. And it's just like, oh, who's this ripped guy on the bike?
Starting point is 01:18:25 Like, who's this about to be? And it was Taitre. I was like, oh, fuck. I forgot. He's in this. Um, I don't know. I'm like, I'm wondering if he's going to be, um, what his character develops into, if it's like a good, if it's going to be funny.
Starting point is 01:18:41 Like, really like, like, like, worth watching. Because yeah, I, I don't know. The hell this thing was getting on Twitter, I thought this is going to be way worse. Okay. And I think it's because we set the bar so low. And then when I decided, like, I need something to do as I brush my teeth. It's too much, it's too happy Gilmore.
Starting point is 01:19:01 You're right. There's a play ball. It's been done. I mean, it's happy Gilmore with Will Ferrell in a way, right? Yeah. You know that Jimmy Tatro was married to Zoe Deutsch? You know what Zoe Deutsch? I learned that recently.
Starting point is 01:19:15 Will told us that. She's so cute, man. She's my cute actress of the week. She was in the Real Bros. Simi Valley movie. Did not know that. Is that where they met? No, I think she was in it because they were already dating. Oh.
Starting point is 01:19:29 What does that mean? She's cute. She's cute. But not hot? She's like babysitter cute. You know what I mean? She's like schoolteacher cute. No, I think she's hot.
Starting point is 01:19:41 But I would say she's cuter than she is hot. Ready to pull her up. This is a name. She's definitely very pretty. This is a name that I know and like I just can't, I have no recollection of what she looks like. Okay. She was in that really popular movie that's out right now, voicemails from Isabel. Ah, oh.
Starting point is 01:19:57 Yeah. That's her. All right. She's just real cute, man. And pretty. Also a sole little actress. I'm sorry to Taitreau. There they are.
Starting point is 01:20:07 Hell yeah. Good for them. Beautiful couple. But make sure you go watch 72 hours of media. If you have time to kill, you're not going to be, like, you're not going to wish you had those two hours. How much did Kevin Hart make on that? A low budget Netflix movie. He got paid.
Starting point is 01:20:27 $5 million. $10 million. Do you. No way. That's way too much. I was going to say, like, one. Will he do a movie for $1 million? No, he's got it.
Starting point is 01:20:39 It's called my quote. Doesn't matter if I do a bad job. Three million. They have to pay me my quote. I don't know, but I think you're, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's got it. He's averaging, his average upfront salary per AI is 20 mil. And you're also, you're saying like little Netflix movie, it's Netflix, dude. Big deal.
Starting point is 01:20:59 Big, big guys. I know. I don't know if he got 20 mil, but you get Kevin Hart in the door. He's not taking a hometown discount. I bet he made, I bet he made five to 10 on this. Okay. Which, again, is a hometown discount. So discount what I just said.
Starting point is 01:21:15 I'm assuming those guys were involved. since there were like Marcelo Hernandez and the other guy are all at Sinal. But like, please don't destroy the group. They also have a movie The Treasure of Foggy Mountain. I watched that on a flight. It's pretty good. I thought it was pretty funny.
Starting point is 01:21:28 Conan O'Brien's in it. I thought it was a very stupid fun comedy. So if you're also looking for a recommendation, try Peacock. It's on Peacock. The Treasure of Foggy Mountain. It's kind of like without a paddle, but stupider. Okay.
