Halloween night, Dolton police responded to a call of a suspect with a gun. Body cam footage shows 19-year-old Catteris Doty running toward a BP gas station.

This kid could have easily got three shots off by the time they shot him once. He had the firearm down by his side and the cops refused to shoot him. They had every right, every justification to shoot him the moment he took that firearm out. You don't get to walk with it. you're you're done boom boom boom that's all he had to do action beats reaction it's a known fact and these cops feared for their death and grievous bodily harm while they walked down the street that entire time they feared the moment you fear it you're you have to do something about you the moment you fear de-escalation is going to get police killed i could go on and on and pick on it

but, you know, man, how dangerous they put them such, the police officers in such a dangerous position. Nobody's backing them. I understand where they're coming from. But come on, man, you can't be that close to a guy. You're three feet away from him. And he has his gun down by his side. Ah, no. No, no.
