Episode Date: August 22, 2020Former RCMP member thanks subscribers and breaks down video. On Saturday, August 15, 2020, an Officer Involved Shooting occurred on Raymond Avenue and Grandview Street after two PPD officers stopped ...a vehicle for a vehicle code violation. During the stop, the driver cooperated with officers and admitted he was driving on a suspended license, however, the passenger in the vehicle elected to run away. While running, the passenger removed a handgun from his waistband and an Officer Involved Shooting occurred. The attached Critical Incident Community Briefing is based upon a preliminary review of the incident, which is still under investigation. Additional facts and evidence may be discovered and will be reviewed. The Pasadena Police Department conducts thorough Criminal and Administrative investigations into all OIS incidents, which include interviews of witnesses and of the involved officers, eyewitness statements, as well as an analysis of video and forensic evidence. After the investigation is complete, a Use of Force Hearing will commence and the Chief of Police will make a final determination whether the officers involved acted within department policy. This incident is actively being investigated by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and the City of Pasadena will also initiate an independent third party review. #policebreakdown #police podcast https://www.clintonjaws.com/

Hey guys, Clint here, former cop, talking about cop stuff.
I'm going to show you a video.
I know I always say this, but I'm going to show you a video.
But first, I just want to say, thank you.
Thank you for watching my channel.
In the past, I don't know, 24 hours, something strange happened.
People started watching it.
It just kind of took off a bit.
And I got some great comments.
I got some subscribe.
One guy said, thank you for your voice.
That's exactly what I'm trying to do.
That's exactly what I'm trying to.
Thank you so much.
It made me, it actually, I'm surprised on how it kind of took off in the past 24 hours.
It made me a little moist.
I got kind of moist.
So thanks.
Keep it up.
Why am I telling you to keep it up?
It means a lot.
the shit that I'm saying.
It's, I don't need everybody to like it.
But if some like it, great.
My goal is, I'm almost at 100 subscribers,
which is unbelievable.
I haven't really tried to promote this or anything.
I haven't really told anybody about it
because it's a little embarrassing me going on YouTube
and emitting shit.
A thousand would be great.
but I'm close to a hundred.
I don't need a thousand.
I just need a hundred people that are interested in me.
And so it made me feel good.
It made me feel good.
I'm still trying to figure this thing out.
That guess that's, you know, that guy saying thank you for your voice.
That's kind of what I want to do.
I want to, I have fun sitting here and talking.
So that's my point.
I want to sit in here and I want to talk about,
I want to break stuff down.
I want to talk about policing because I miss policing.
And I want to
not giving advice, I'm just given my point of view.
It feels good to give my point of view with,
sometimes I'm going to be wrong.
Sometimes I'm going to be bang on, usually.
And, yeah, most of the stuff,
most of the videos that I show, they come from America
because Canadians don't have, well, I don't think,
Most don't have body cams and dash cams and stuff like that.
We're not really big on that yet.
So most of my clips come from America.
Sometimes I see something in a clip and I want to, it reminds me of when I was a cop.
So then I throw in a story.
It's important that my channel has an RCMP spin to it.
That's important to me.
But also an American spin.
Because I love America.
I think deep down,
every Canadian loves America and you should you should love America America is fucking awesome
it's the most powerful country in the entire world don't get me wrong I love living in Canada
I love living in Canada but I love living in Canada because I live next to America
we are Canadians are so lucky to live next to the most powerful country in the entire world
And I go to America all the time. I go to Seattle. I go to Florida. Well, I haven't gone to Florida, but I want to go to Florida.
I love crossing the border going, it's a great, great country. It kind of makes me upset when I hear Canadians putting down America.
You're going to put down the most powerful country in the entire world that you live next to.
Of course, things are crazier in America. There's, what, 350 million people, I'm taking a guess.
Anyways, my point is, every Canadian,
deep down, loves America, and I'm thankful that I live next to it. And that's what makes Canada great.
Part of the reason. We're lucky to border America. I'm rambling on here. I just wanted to say thanks.
Keep on watching. Because I got shit to say. There is so much that I have to say that I think is going to be, when I was a cop, I wish somebody would have done this.
I wish I was working night shift.
Like I looked at my videos last night,
and people from midnight to five in the morning
were watching my videos, and I think it was cops.
I think it was cops.
And that's what I wish I had when I was a cop.
Somebody you could turn on to and just listen to them almost rant about the RCMP.
I don't want to be negative, but I do want to be negative.
And I don't want to be fully positive.
And I don't want to be in the middle,
because I hate being in the middle.
So I don't really even know what I want to be right now.
I'm just kind of figuring it out.
I just want to say things.
That's it.
And I want to have a glass of wine while I do it?
I don't want to wear a suit and a tie.
Aren't we done with that?
Listening to the news, the media, with their fake laughing.
I think we're done with the news.
RCMP, stop trying to have a relationship with the media, okay?
That's a one-sided war that you're never going to win.
So stop carrying.
Maybe you should switch to podcasts, okay?
Focus your attention on podcasts.
I'm going to show you this video.
I rambled on way too long, didn't mean to.
This is really just an excuse.
I'm just showing the video because I wanted to jump on tonight and say thanks.
I mean that.
August 15th, 2020 in California.
The police, there's really not even too much for me to say about.
this video. I don't even know if I'm going to break it down, but I might at the end. There's not
too much breaking down. The police around 7 o'clock at night, they're driving around, they're
doing some patrols, and they pass a vehicle coming the other way. He doesn't have a front license
plate. So they do a U-turn, they pull the guy over, the passenger gets out, he has a gun in his
waistband, grabs onto it and runs away. Watch the video. I'll come
back we'll come back i'll say a couple things about it and i don't really know what i'm going to say and he
loses his shoes and he dies enjoy you drive you roll on all your windows for me please
go down all your windows for me because of the tent oh appreciate that you're not on the time we got to
make sure right all i was going to pass me a place for us because we're on front license plate do you have a
license registration insurance i got the license plate right here oh it's on the supposed to be on the
front man what happened it fell off when i bought the car yeah it happens i just bought the car right now
Okay.
I got my ID.
Okay.
Do you have a driver's license?
No, I just bought the car.
Right, right.
But do you have a driver's license?
No, I don't.
Hey, man, I really appreciate to be awesome.
Hey, do you make a favor of the car for me, man?
That's my ID.
Okay.
You can go to registration.
You got anything with your name on?
I don't go to registration.
You got the car right now.
I'm going to show you the paperwork.
I believe, man.
Do me figure up the car from me, please?
Turn it off?
Yeah.
All right, you step out tired, we're talking to talk on the sidewalk, all right?
You said step out?
Yeah, please.
Well, you don't have a license, right?
You haven't spent a license?
So we step out the car, we're talking sidewalk, all right?
Let's walk on my partner.
I'll get my mask?
I'll come back and grab for you, all right?
Appreciate the concern, though.
3-8-22, shots fired, shots fired, code three back, code three back.
My partner's in pursuit.
Black mailies, onto the firearm.
White shirt, black shorts.
Get on the ground.
Stay on the ground, sir.
I ain't did nothing wrong.
I can't get nothing wrong.
Stay on the ground.
Don't move, don't move.
I'm not moving, bro.
I ain't been around for me.
I ain't doing nothing.
I gave you my ID.
I'm trying to figure out what the problem is.
Can I lease you down?
Stand by.
I've got one of the car.
My partner's about 200 feet south of me.
He's got other units with them.
I need one more unit with me on the traffic stop.
Just north of the lawpin.
Everything fine, sir?
Facing south.
Just relax, man. You're good, all right?
I hope so, man. You got me on the ground like I did some room.
Well, your buddy's pulled a gun out of my partner.
Oh, fucking serious?
Yeah.
You're bushing?
No, I just saw it.
The cop, the cop shoots him, he dies.
He ends up dying in the hospital.
It's a different world down there.
Everybody has a gun.
The buddy gets out of the car.
It's so pointless, isn't it?
If you don't resist, you live.
you live. He runs away, he turns his head, cop has justification to shoot him. If I was a cop in the
US, I don't think I'd be fucking around. Cops die in the US. Cops die in Canada, of course,
they do. Cops are really dying in the US. It is dangerous. Every time they pull over a vehicle,
seems like somebody has a gun, right to bear arms. He takes a gun. He takes a
off, they see that he's going for his waist, they see that he has a gun.
Are you, you're a police officer? Are you going to take that chance?
That he turns around and fires the gun?
So he shoots him. Then the crowd is losing their shit.
Some people get pepper sprayed and somebody gets tasered.
Brand new shoes left on the pavement. Not even funny.
Not even funny that I made that joke.
But, uh, I don't know.
I watch it and I'm like, do I post this video?
It doesn't make me feel good.
I got nothing really to say about it.
I can't relate my experience to it.
They don't take chances down there.
Canadian cops should never take chances.
They should treat every call like somebody has a gun.
I think we're too relaxed sometimes.
Guys, thanks for watching.
Keep on watching.
I'm going to do a video tomorrow.
I think it's going to be kind of interesting.
I'm going to talk about an old boss.
Some diary dates.
Remember diary?
You know diary dates, right?
You got to extend those diary dates.
Jaworski, did you extend your diary?
Why didn't you extend your diary dates?
They're all red.
Anyways, some people don't even know what I'm talking about.
Tune in.
Enjoy the hockey game.
game. It's Friday. Bye-bye.
