Starting point is 00:00:00 It was fun getting the drinks? No, the horse. Thanks, sweetie. Yeah. All the boys are fighting crime, taking complaints from the scumbags of the earth right now. Peter Hib me. Clinton Jaws here. Something just popped in my head while I was listening to Miley.
Starting point is 00:00:34 And you know what it was? Do you remember when cops and nurses were heroes? Do you remember when that was? Isn't it something how the world. has flipped how it's just gone nutty bizarre nurses were heroes we used to drive by them we used to honk the horn at seven o'clock at night acknowledging the nurses the heroes right we used to drive by them they used to do uh i don't know there was parades going past the hospital honking the horn and saying we love nurses now we're firing them nurses are being fired all over the world bizarre
Starting point is 00:01:17 And I know about this stuff, okay, because my wife's a nurse. I'm not a lot of talk about it. She won't let me talk about it, but the stories, the stories. God, I wish I could say some stories. Goofy. It's a goofy world we live in. Okay. Guys, join my join button, okay?
Starting point is 00:01:44 I'm going to do another live event. I stream live. If you join the join button, you get to see the live streams if you're into that. Maybe you're not into it. If you're not into it, don't watch it. this is how you join the join button you go to the front of my youtube and you'll see it it's right there you hit it there's two tiers tier one read about it okay tier two is the one where if you join it i do a question and answer every so often live stream just for you guys just for the join members
Starting point is 00:02:17 we talk you ask me a question you ask me anything you want also i got stuff already uploaded on there that that isn't on my regular channel I did a, there's a CBC documentary called Mounties Under Fire, came out in 07 or 08, and you can't get it anywhere. I got a copy of it. I dissected the video. If you want to see, if you want to see cadets and training in a depot, you got to watch this. There's a lot of footage at depot with drill. And drill's the best part, right?
Starting point is 00:02:46 It's the best part. Anyways, it's interesting. Join the join button. It's just going to keep on getting better, I hope. Well, it will. And I'm supposed to say this stuff, and I hate it. It makes me cringe when I say it. But subscribe to my channel, and really, that's the only thing I care about.
Starting point is 00:03:05 And you have to hit the like button. You have to hit the like button. How annoying is that to hear when you go onto a YouTube, and that's all they say is smash that button. I know you want to. So smash the button. The only way my videos get views is if you like it. it. That's how it works. And for God's sakes, if you join the join button, you got to hit the
Starting point is 00:03:33 notification bell. It will alert you to let you know that I'm actually live. That's the only way it works. Makes me sick when I have to sell myself. I don't like it. I haven't been on here. I haven't been on here. And I know I say that all the time. I know I always say I've got to do more of these. And I actually go through a funk where it actually kind of depresses me all. a little bit when I like I'm oh I'll be upstairs I'll be grumpy and I'll be like I got to go downstairs and I got to make something I got to do something and I don't know why I just don't do it I love doing it when I'm down here while I'm doing it I love being away from upstairs I don't know I got to do it more often I got to get better I think part of me you know I was sick I know sounds like an excuse
Starting point is 00:04:26 but I was sick we all got bad colds and and I know know the joeing people, the members have already heard this, but I'll say it differently. Last week I went to bed at two in the afternoon. I was so sick. And I don't go to bed. I don't go to bed at two in the afternoon. I usually wake up. I usually go to bed at midnight. I wake up at 3.30 or 4. So it's unusual for me to go to bed at 2 in the afternoon. I'm sick. I'm sitting. Laying in my bed. And five hours has gone past. And I get up and I'm like, oh my God, I'm going to puke. I'm going to puke. I'm going to puke my brain's I don't puke. It was really, really weird.
Starting point is 00:05:06 I don't know if it was food poisoning. It wasn't COVID. Some kind of flu. And I run to the bathroom and I am, I puked about 15 times and I'm puking and I'm puking to where to where your guts are like, no, no, no, no, no. You can't do another one where they just, it hurts so bad. And this is so dumb, but I was getting mad while I was puking. Do you guys ever get mad when you puke?
Starting point is 00:05:40 Here's the toilet. Here's the wall. Okay? The wall. On the other side of the wall is our kitchen. Where our kitchen sink is. And while I'm puking, I can hear the water running. And I could hear dishes clinking around.
Starting point is 00:05:57 And I'm like, is she washing dishes right now? I know she hears me because I'm like, and she's washing dishes. and that just it made me angry I didn't say anything to her about it but I'm like can you just stop washing dishes
Starting point is 00:06:18 can you just give me my moment I don't know I don't know maybe there's you know maybe I got some kind of issue but like why would that make me angry right that's not supposed to make me angry and
Starting point is 00:06:35 there was a part of me that thought maybe she didn't know I was puking right but there's no way you could have not heard that. So I got out of the bathroom. I wanted to tell her what had happened to me. And don't get me wrong, okay? I like my wife.
Starting point is 00:06:57 I know I talk about her a lot, but I live with her. Okay, we live in the same house. Our kids live here too. I like her. Something's annoying me. And so I said to her, I said,
Starting point is 00:07:10 I just puked my brains out. Like just telling her, like, I'm kind of concerned. Like, I just puked my brains out. You know what she says? Her response? Try giving birth, so. I'm like, what? Yeah, I gave birth.
Starting point is 00:07:28 I'm like, okay. I didn't realize this was a competition. Like, are we competing against something? I'm just letting you know. And I noticed that she throws that in every time I have like a bad moment in lung. Try giving birth to a baby. What's that all about? So then I start in.
Starting point is 00:07:54 And you can't beat it. You can't beat that. I'm like, well, try getting a camera stuck down your penis, which happened to me once. But you still, it still doesn't, it's, that's weak compared. And I'm just like, it bugged her that I was puking. It must have. Just so you know. And she does that, right?
Starting point is 00:08:18 Just so you know. I gave birth. Oh. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know this is stupid. And I probably shouldn't be sharing.
Starting point is 00:08:26 in it because it's kind of like, just some things annoying me. I like her. I already told you that. I said, you know, in case she watches it. I like her. I like her a lot. And just, she takes these naps every day, I know, on the couch. Every day after work.
Starting point is 00:08:47 And I'll be watching football, Monday night football, Sunday. And she'll say, I'm just going to take a nap. And I'm, I sent her last, last week. No, a few days ago. I said, why don't you just, let me just go to the bedroom, take the nap. And she's like, I don't want to take a full-blown nap. So, and I'm like, does that even make sense to you? So I got to sit there and I have to watch her sleep during football or hockey.
Starting point is 00:09:18 And it's really, see, the problem is I don't work. I used to be away from the house for 48 hours at least, let's say 55. And those 55 hours now, I'm here babysitting my children and watching her sleep and listening to stories about her giving birth. And maybe we're just, you know, I'm going to, I need a hobby. And actually a guy called the hotline, I'm going to play some messages. And he said, Clinton, you got a hobby. I'm like, no, babysitting. It's my hobby.
Starting point is 00:09:53 I had two babies. So you can't get mad at her. I know I'm all over the place. Sometimes I say stuff that I know is uninteresting, but it's interesting to me. And I just want to know, have you guys bought your turkey yet? I know. For Christmas, have you bought it?
Starting point is 00:10:22 Thanksgiving, I think I already told you this, but I went to every single grocery store in Port-Alberne. No turkeys. I make a fresh turkey. That's what I like doing. There was only one turkey in all of places. Port Alberti, and it was frozen, and it was at quality foods. I'm like, what is going on here?
Starting point is 00:10:41 What's going on with the world? You can't even get... If you can't get a turkey on Thanksgiving, you're not going to be able to get a turkey on Christmas. And then I started researching this stuff, and I'm like, oh my God, inflation's going up. I know you don't want to hear about it, but inflation's going up. It's through the roof.
Starting point is 00:11:01 The biggest in Canada since something like 2003, like 18 years, they're talking about raising interest rights to battle the inflation and walmart might be the only place that you can buy i don't listen to me this is just how my mind thinks but i'm thinking come december there's not going to be anything on the shelves Walmart actually bought or leased cargo ships to get product into walmart there's thoughts that there might be very little on the shelves very little Christmas presents. So I started buying Christmas presents. I bought a VR headset, Oculus, for one of the kids. I'm going to buy another one. We're going to have two. But I'm thinking, I think you got to get this stuff now. Kind of weird. Kind of weird when you have nothing but
Starting point is 00:11:51 time to look at these things. Like I'm off. Like you guys are, you guys got your life, right? You're trying to be caught, come a cop. You're a civilian working at the mill or you are a cop. You're not paying attention to any of this stuff. But, I do. And it's just interesting. I find it interesting. I find it a little bit of exciting. Actually, it's kind of sick.
Starting point is 00:12:14 It excites me. There might be a massive bubble. That's kind of sick to say I know, but it kind of does. It's weird and it's really boring to talk about, but I find it fascinating. I'm just sitting back and watching it. They're giving more, the government's giving more money out to businesses. even though we have the vaccine. They're giving money to bowling alleys, guys.
Starting point is 00:12:42 Bowling alleys. Bowling alleys are getting money, government money. I mean, there's no end in sight. $2 trillion on the deficit or something like that. I don't even know what I'm talking about. Don't listen to me, but just weird. I think we're going to look back one day and go. They banned dancing and black.
Starting point is 00:13:08 loud TVs in a bar. While Bonnie Henry is at a football game with no mask, taking selfies with people, she's the one that creates the restrictions. It's just wacky, wacky. And now we're giving money to bowling alleys. Inflation is through the roof. People think the economy's good. Nobody wants a job.
Starting point is 00:13:34 Tim Horton's shutting down at 4 p.m. every day because they don't have the staff. and we're all like it's fine it'll be fine things will be good oil is through the roof gas prices are going to hit there forget it you just wait to see the cost of gas next week
Starting point is 00:13:54 and the week after you wait I want to say sorry to you guys about I promise you guys I was going to do the thing about the Fairy Creek protests RCMP spent so much time at this protest and there's so much video of the RCMP arresting these protesters, if we're going to call them protesters.
Starting point is 00:14:19 I've got to watch what I say. But I tried to do it. I tried to get into it. I hate tree huggers. I had them out at the lake, which I'm going to get into later in the month. I've been involved. I've actually protested the tree huggers growing up before I was a cop.
Starting point is 00:14:36 But I watched the videos. I was watching the videos and they were just making me I don't, sick to my stomach, I guess. I couldn't take it anymore. I couldn't take the... I mean, how do you even talk about it? How do you... And part of me is like, you know, I got to watch what I say, okay.
Starting point is 00:15:18 I don't even want to say that they suffer from mental illness, okay? Because that's mean. I can't talk about retarded people. I just, I can't do it. and that's what they are. Maybe that's a nicer way to say it. They suffer from being retarded. Maybe when the protests start back up down the road,
Starting point is 00:15:44 maybe I'll get back into it. I just wanted to say sorry that I promised you a Ferry Creek episode. It didn't happen. And the judge came out. Oh, my, I don't even want to get into it. Called the Blue Line Racist. Oh, the thin blue line patch that we were. Maybe I need to do a video on that.
Starting point is 00:16:06 Maybe I'll just do a video on what the judge said. Okay, I don't know how this part's going to come out, okay. I did a video about the MPF, the MPF. They interviewed me, okay? They interviewed me. They asked me a question. And so I posted it. They haven't posted my interview yet on their website.
Starting point is 00:16:25 So I posted it earlier, and I think that's why I got taken down. My video that I made got taken down the MPF, which I love, okay, guys? And I still don't understand why, but they took down my... I got a copyright strike because of this video that I'm going to show you. And I don't know why. I don't know why I got a copyright strike. So I'm going to try to set it up differently. Maybe it was my setup.
Starting point is 00:16:50 Maybe my setup was wrong. So I'm going to show it to you again. You know the MPF, right? They do behind the badge. They ask real police officers, real cops. They ask them real questions. And these policemen, they answer the questions. And this is an example of it.
Starting point is 00:17:13 A mentor that I kind of looked up to. Serve the country and serve communities within it, right? I wanted to make a difference in the community. I think as long as I can be sure, I have six or seven years. Each year. Now they asked me a question. They asked me something like, why did you want to, why did you want to become a policeman?
Starting point is 00:17:37 Why did you want to become a cop? What led you to become a cop? And this was my answer. What a great question. I'm surprised you asked him. I was 18 years old, had a mullet, cowboy boots that I never took off, a jean jacket that always stayed on. You could describe me as a small boy,
Starting point is 00:17:58 and I always felt inadequate because of my short height. I would try to overcompensate that with my overly aggressive behavior. Things weren't working out too well with me, sexually. And I always thought, if I became a cop, that would make make me half the man that I'm not. I needed 30 hours of work experience credit at school. Let's ride along with the RCN. I'm on a ride along with Constable Nicholson and I'll never forget this. We're going up 3rd Avenue. Christina Costanza drives by us in the opposite direction. Constable Nicholson does an illegal U-turn, throws on his lights and siren, and pulls her over.
Starting point is 00:18:48 And I thought, uh-oh, you know, what's she do. And he gets out of the car. I just sat there. I just sat there and I watched him police. I couldn't believe what I was watching. They were giggling and laughing and they were having a great time. And he's not going to give her a ticket. And then I realized she didn't even commit an offense.
Starting point is 00:19:15 When he came back to the patrol vehicle, I asked him. I said to him, why did you just pull over the hottest girl in Port Albert? And he said, I quote, because I can. And that's when I knew I had to do this for a living. And yeah, okay, I wanted to help people. True story. Anyways, I hope it doesn't get taken down again. I might.
Starting point is 00:19:44 I don't even know what I did wrong. I thought I answered it well. I did a video, I think it was last week or something. I got a lot of comments. And I think I made as though that depot was easy to pass. Like, you got no problem. All that. I might have been wrong with the video.
Starting point is 00:20:01 When I went through, it seemed like most people were passed. I guess the point of my video was the majority of people who go to Deppel are passed. They pass. It's designed to pass you. And oh my God, the comments I got back, the stories I got back of people who failed. Briefly. MJ Canada. All right.
Starting point is 00:20:24 So I was in Deppo 2019. The failure rate was really high. people got back-trooped or kicked out for the silliest reasons. Out of 32 cadets, I'd say I saw at least 10 to 12 get back-trooped. Three to five get either terminated or resign. Oh, my God, that is high. I don't know the reason for it. Well, I think the reason will.
Starting point is 00:20:50 Humans are imperfect. And there's a lot of imperfect, imperfect trainers, policemen that think they're trainers, but they're really not that go to Deppo and they try to train you. Okay. There's a lot of misfits. And then there's some unbelievable cops that are amazing trainers. So you've got imperfect people trying to teach you how to become a cop.
Starting point is 00:21:17 And a lot of them were geeks growing up. And it's their chance to be a teacher and an instructor and somebody really important. I'll tell you one thing. If I was an instructor at Depo, it's going to take a whole lot to kick somebody out of depot, a whole lot. But I could see these instructors. I could see them because I've worked with them. He's like, he's got to go. The empathy, compassion has gone out the window in a lot of cops.
Starting point is 00:21:50 I think that's one of the reasons. I just wanted to say that maybe I was wrong when I said that you're going to go to Deppo, you're going to have no problem. Maybe it's changed a little bit. Let's take some calls. Hey, Clint. Not to see, October 9th this year, I had Trail, BC. I was just reading an article this the other day about a female constable who
Starting point is 00:22:19 recognized a fellow with an outstanding warrant. She stopped the guy by herself and approached him, and he pulled out not one, but two very large knives and started to approach her. she pulled her taser tasered him back up finally showed up after she had the guy in the ground and her hands were cut and took the guy in custody
Starting point is 00:22:43 so it's just kind of I don't know kind of weird it's just a new style of policing now where you just taser and forget about grievous bodily harm or I'm not too sure just kind of if you want to look into that story and give me some info on that
Starting point is 00:22:59 that would be great that's a great day love the podcast thanks man Hey, thanks for calling, dude, and I can't really give you a whole lot of info. I looked it up, and there's very little info about it. And actually, when you look it up, it doesn't even make sense. The write-up doesn't even make sense. And they're not talking about a female.
Starting point is 00:23:14 They're talking about a male. It was a male member. You said female member. Maybe I got the wrong one. I can't really give my opinion on it because I know there's more to the story, but I'll try to answer your question as best as I can. So in the article, it said something like the member had his taser out. He was dealing with a guy with a knife.
Starting point is 00:23:34 I don't know why he had its taser out. I couldn't tell you. Maybe the bad guy didn't have the knife at first. Maybe it was just combative, and he pulled up the taser. But no, if he showed up to a call alone, it doesn't even really say he was alone. He says, the taser didn't really work in this article, didn't really work. And then as he was going through this process, backup arrived, and they took this guy into custody. and that's when his hands got all slashed up.
Starting point is 00:24:08 So they're leaving out information on purpose. It really, the whole story made little sense to me. But no, you never pull out, especially, you're alone. You're a cop, you're alone. Guy has a knife. It's a gun call all the way through. Every time, all the time. You don't even think about your taser.
Starting point is 00:24:31 But your question was, why would they throw a, death and grievous bodily harm out the window. And I think, I think a lot of, a lot of members are willing to risk being hurt very, very badly because they don't want the repercussions of going through court, getting charged.
Starting point is 00:24:55 They know what's going on in the world. It's making members hesitate. It's dangerous what has happened in the world of policing. We're starting. to listen. We got a commissioner that called them racist. Every time the commissioner is interviewed is deescalate, deesculate, deescalate, deescalate, deescalate, deescalate.
Starting point is 00:25:18 That's all we do. We deescalate. We got it ingrained in our mind. It's hurting us. It's going to kill us. It's possible that it almost killed this member. You see, thinks he has to deescalate. If I was still a watch commander, I'd be telling my guys, put the taser in your holster. It should be the last thing you think about.
Starting point is 00:25:39 You hear knife, man with knife, girl with knife, you show up with your gun out. Put the taser away. Members are going to get killed because of leaders leading this way. It's wrong and nobody's stopping it. Nobody's stopping it. The only time I'd ever pull out a taser and I was alone is if the guy was massive and he was combative, we're about to fight. I would try the taser. If that didn't work, I'd go to my pepper spray, then it'd be hands-on.
Starting point is 00:26:14 Even then, it's easy to say, right? Until you're actually in it and doing it. I don't know why he pulled out his taser. He might have a great reason why. It might be more of the story. But I do know that members are paying the price because of politicians and leaders that are, because of their decisions,
Starting point is 00:26:41 they are going to get police officers killed. And nobody seems to care. What do they do instead? Badge cam? They need to wear badge camps. Not one person is saying, maybe the police need to be a little bit more aggressive. Maybe the police need to stop de-esculating so much.
Starting point is 00:27:02 You're going to get yourself hurt. No. More de-escalation. More video cameras. We need to see exactly what you're doing. that that's that's a fix ain't it hi corporal my name is sal
Starting point is 00:27:15 corporal I'm corporal thanks for calling dude watching a channel for a long time I was actually at depot in 2019 just wanted to give you a little story okay I might have to edit part of this cell because you go on for a bit
Starting point is 00:27:30 but thanks for calling dude let's hear his story I know three minutes but I've been watching channel for a long time and it's fantastic keep keep going with what you're doing right now. It's awesome.
Starting point is 00:27:43 Anyway, I was part of a troop, 12, 2019, went through Deppo. I double-failed my hitterms. Okay, 20, what happened? What's going on in 2019, a depot? He double-failed his midterms. Then I got back-truth. I accepted the back-trupe at that time with the...
Starting point is 00:28:02 Can I just say something about the mid-terms? It's hit and miss. I wrote my mid-term in depot. I don't even think I really finished it. And the whole day, I was sad. I played Mr. Sadman because I knew I failed it. There was no doubt in my mind I failed that midterm. I ended up getting a superior on the midterm.
Starting point is 00:28:27 I look back, I still don't get it. I still don't get how I got superior when I actually thought I failed it. That's how weird the tests are in Depo. Inspector Jody Dale was in charge of APS. I got back to the 2ndy. At this point, I was already at tempo for quite some time.
Starting point is 00:28:46 I stayed with Troop 20 all the way through pretty much everything. I got to the final exam. Final exam. Before the final exam, I had a couple hurdles with different other benchmarks. You know, pass, fail, pass fail, pass fail. Emotional roller coaster, of course, being separated from the old troop, doing a new troop. We were in the building before with Troop 12, Troop 20.
Starting point is 00:29:11 We were in the trailers. as you know the trailers so you know had a couple good troops mates helped me out with seven land and whatnot but yeah I got to the final exam and I ended up double failing with final exam
Starting point is 00:29:25 I got a 58 out of you know 60 years of pass and yeah eight and a half months at Depo was sent home and yeah it was it was devastating it was the hardest time in my life
Starting point is 00:29:39 you know and then COVID happened and all that stuff and yeah, I was jobless for a little while. So stupid. Not you, but it's just so dumb. He fails by one mark. He writes a test, he gets 58, writes it again, gets 58.
Starting point is 00:29:57 Oh, come on. Come on. And who's to say, who's the people making the tests? Who's to say they're right? There's got to be, I'm an instructor there. I'm going to give him an extra. I know this is, you're going to be like, yeah, you can't do that? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:30:17 Can't I? Oh, and I just didn't know what to do and with my life and all that stuff when it came to just, you know, want to pursue a career in law enforcement. I'm happy to report that I'm going back to Deppo. I just, you know, just geared up and I just. He spends eight months in Depple and now he's going to go back. Good for you. Apply it again and have to go through the entire postings again, polygraph and, you know, all everything. And yeah, I'm just excited to let you know that I'm going back to Deppo.
Starting point is 00:30:47 I just got my security, my medical clearance a couple days ago. And why not go back, man? There's nothing here. That's where it's at. I'm going to get another go at Deppo. And just if you can give me some advice on how to study for exams, that's pretty much why I called. Just to give me help with, or anybody that's going through this,
Starting point is 00:31:07 just the midterm and the final exam and what to do, unless you've already posted a video. So anyway, thank you very much. You have a fantastic day. And yeah, take care. If anybody, and thanks for your call, if anybody could give him, has a suggestion to help this guy out
Starting point is 00:31:21 under the final exam or the midterm, he's got to do it all over again. Leave a comment, help him out. I don't know. I don't know. I'm going to go, I'm actually going to try to answer your question. I'm going to dig through a box.
Starting point is 00:31:35 I might have it, but I'm not prepared for this to even attempt to answer your question. but I used to be really good at exams. I'm going to tell you when I was really good at things. I'm going to tell you when I'm really bad at things. I was really good at exams. I was good at the promotion exams.
Starting point is 00:31:55 I was good at right in the corporal exam, right in the sergeant exam. I got a good mark on the sergeant exam. I was top seven for West Shore. And then I pulled my application out, which was dumb. I should have stuck it out. But I was good at the exams.
Starting point is 00:32:13 and there's a way to write them. And there was a study guide. A cop came out with a study guide in the RCMP. And I remember reading it, and I don't know the name of it. But he explained how to write the exams on how to think. And I can't remember it. And I think I might have the study guide in a box that I'm going to go through. And I hope to help you more with that question.
Starting point is 00:32:38 But it always comes down to two, right? Okay, when I was in Depo, I read all the annotations. the criminal code. That helped me. I don't know if the tests are even remotely the same in depot. But reading the annotations of assault or mischief really helped me with some of the questions that were on that exam. And then the scenario-based questions always came down to two. It always came down to two. And I would capricize it. And I would pick that way. Who's my partnerships, who's my clients? Did you follow up at the end of the scenario? Did you follow up at the end of the call? It's almost like your file's never closed until you, there's certain steps that you
Starting point is 00:33:22 got to do. And there's, even though it's nearly impossible, it comes down to two and you're almost guessing at the end, I always guessed right. I don't know why. I can't even explain it. But I got to put my mind back into, leave it with me. I'll get back to you. It's Constable Hounstein from Reddier, RCMP. Red Dare. I'll let you know, watch 9 watches your channel. We really appreciate what you do. I got Constable Zoltner here as well.
Starting point is 00:33:50 Zoner. If you want to hit me back, I'll give you my number. It's 403-8906. Again, it's proposed to Red Deer. We appreciate you, and we watch your channel. So keep up the good work, buddy. Bye. I appreciate you guys, and I know Corny,
Starting point is 00:34:08 but that was nice. Makes me feel good. Thanks for calling. A couple guys sitting around the office, probably the GD Pit, and they called me. Guys call me. 604-330-2512. I love to hear from that. I love hearing that.
Starting point is 00:34:23 Hey, Clint. My name's Tom O'Neill. Tom. In Evanston, currently working as a peace officer for Edmonton Transit and have my R-Mac interview tomorrow, February 22nd. I just wanted to say, I love your podcast. I love all your videos. Thanks for everything you do.
Starting point is 00:34:44 Thank you for everything you did with the Mounties. And if you ever find yourself in Edmonton, which I don't know why you would, because we only have a very large mall and a hockey team. I'd have you over for a beer, and I'd love to shine some boots with you. Boots. 780-554.
Starting point is 00:35:04 Oh, and if you ever find yourself in need of a knife, I make knives as a hobby. give me a shout if you ever want to. Thanks, Clint. You're awesome. Thanks for the call, dude. And I do need knives. I don't have a gun anymore. They took it away from me.
Starting point is 00:35:20 I go for walks and I want to be armed with something. So I might call you with the... You know what? Who knows? Maybe one day I'll be in Edmonton. It's like 30 bucks to fly to Edmonton with Flair Air. Flair Airlines? You should see, it is so cheap to fly in Canada with this jet.
Starting point is 00:35:36 Who knows? I might be there. And the boots! I want to show you. boots with people. I want, I still want to do a video. Two hour, three hour, drink some beer, shine some boots. Where are my boots at? I want to shine my high browns, but I can't really remember. I want somebody that really knows how to shine boots. Maybe you're straight out of depot. That's when you really know how to shine boots, right? Maybe you're a sergeant major that's retired. I don't know. But if anybody wants to shine boots with me, give me a call. And I'll shine boots
Starting point is 00:36:08 with you. And right on. You're going to try to become a cop. But transit, please. That's, sounds like a pretty good gig. Hey, Clinton. How's it going there? Good. Michael from Ontario. Thanks, dude. For calling.
Starting point is 00:36:28 Yeah, just on the phone up, say, I love watching all your videos, and I appreciate your, it actually gives some bullshit. Yeah, I'm just, I guess when you're younger in your 20s and stuff, did you ever have thoughts of, I don't know, like, did you have any hobbies or, you know, you know, things you like to do on the side. I know once you get busy and you don't have much time for these are ideas, just wanted to hear your take on direction in life about you pursue a certain hobby,
Starting point is 00:37:24 or do you like drop certain, you know if you traveled much when you were younger, but do you think there's someone who hasn't traveled much, do you think they should just hobbies? Because I just watched your video about you create your own stage. Right. Thanks, Clint. Enjoy all the videos. I watch them all. Thanks, dude. Thanks for calling. And I made a fatal mistake growing up when I was a cop. I didn't have hobbies. I should have took up golf. That's what I should have did. I should have been more invested in the stock market. I'll talk about that in a second. Travel? Yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:38:18 Two years into being a cop, I went on my first vacation to Mexico, Porta Viata, all inclusive. And I remember sitting on the beach and going, what have I been doing with my life? I actually said this to myself. me and the hot girlfriend were sitting on the beach drinking and I was like this is what you do it was fun getting the drinks? No, the horse. Thanks, sweetie. Yeah, all the boys are fighting crime taking complaints from the scumbags of the earth right now. Peter hit me.
Starting point is 00:39:04 I want him arrested. But I love him. Yeah, we're getting back together. Oh, great. Thanks for the paperwork. Can you please? I'm going to go off. Let's go take a picture of the works.
Starting point is 00:39:24 You do that in life. It was like a thousand. It's like a thousand bucks, guys. You go on tripcentral.ca. It's like a thousand bucks to go to Mexico anywhere, really. And to me, that was what life was all about. And I was mad at myself that it took me so long to know that. I was like, I don't know, 31.
Starting point is 00:39:47 So travel, yeah. Man, there's nothing better. And I don't know. Man, you're just asking if I had any hobbies I didn't. It's pretty sad. I don't know if you're asking if, you know, what would you do differently now that you know what you know? And that answer is easy.
Starting point is 00:40:07 I'd be in the stock market. Because that's what I do now. I just kind of sit around and I look forward to waking up in the morning and looking at the stock market. And I don't listen to me when it comes to stocks, because I don't really have a clue. But I started thinking about this when you called, I did have a bit of a clue. I bought Taser. Taser, it's Axon now. But I remember when I was working at Duncan, I seen a Taser for the first time. I'm like, oh, shit, this thing is unbelievable. So I go on the internet and I Google Taser to see if there's a stock. There's a stock. I
Starting point is 00:40:44 buy it. I buy it for dollars. I buy it for really nothing. It's 185 now and it split a bunch of different ways. The amount of money I would have had if I kept with that stock, I bought Facebook at $23. Okay. I ended up selling all this stuff. But if I would have kept these stocks, if I would have invested more of my money in stocks, well, things would have been different. And I regret. I regret. I regret. I regret. regret that part and I look at it now and it seems kind of easy, the stock market. Here's why. You only have to be right one out of five times. You can buy five stocks and you only have to be right once out of the five times. So yeah, I wish I did that. I wish I would have held onto my money. I didn't work overtime. I wish it would have worked overtime. I hated.
Starting point is 00:41:46 working overtime, so I barely did it, but I should have worked more overtime, and I should have invested more in the stock market. I'm jealous at these guys. The RCMP members are about to get a hefty check. I'm getting a little bit, not like a lot of what these guys are getting. And man, if I was getting what they were getting, I would be investing that in the stock market, but being very careful staying away from stocks that do bad when inflation is around. Again, don't listen to what I say. I think that's it. Call the hotline.
Starting point is 00:42:24 604-330-20-2512. I love it when you call. And the Seahawks are playing tonight. It's Monday. It's 5.52. It's already started. They're probably down 14 points. And yeah, see you soon.
Starting point is 00:42:39 Join the join button. Smash my button. Bye-bye.
