Clinton Jaws - Criminals Kill RCMP PATTON

Episode Date: June 16, 2021

Criminals kill RCMP Shelby PATTON. Former cop, Clinton Jaws, speaks about Shelby Patton. Shelby was hit by a stolen vehicle and killed by suspects Alphonse Stanley Traverse, 41 and Marlene Velma Loui...se Pagee, 42, both of Winnipeg. Politicians are tight lipped and have said little about the suspects. The media, cbc, global news all refuse to post pictures of the suspects. As a former cop it feels like they "go about their day" when a good guy is killed but linger on about systemic racism when a bad guy is killed by police. Starting point is 00:00:01 I don't know why I'm doing a video because I've restarted this twice already. Because I really don't know what to say. What do you say, right? I'm not good at this stuff. I don't have the right words to say. Usually when I do a video, I have a point. There's a point that I want to bring across, and I try to. Sometimes I make the point, sometimes I don't.
Starting point is 00:00:26 I don't have a point or anything or an argument or... I guess I just want to acknowledge. as you already know that a 26-year-old Mountie Shelby Patton was killed in the line of duty the other day and I thought I'd talk about it. I don't know what I'm going to say about it though. I'll start from the beginning. So wake up and I learned the terrible news and terrible, the worst news. There's nothing worse than hearing that news.
Starting point is 00:01:09 And to make myself feel better about the news, I went to a ghost. fund me page that the media said was up and running and I donated some money on his behalf and I thought it was really weird because the site's been going it was going on for about 12 hours and I was the first one to donate I'm like that's weird then I reread the article that was posted on the go fund me page and it wasn't making a whole lot of sense it turned out it was fraudulent and they ended up shooting that down and I was going to do a video I was going to come down here and go go to his go fund me page and donate some money and thank God I didn't do that turns out you could go to the MPF and donate through them somehow there's nothing you can really say about it but you know what I notice I noticed the politicians and the people that we'd been hearing about
Starting point is 00:02:23 hearing from for the past year. They're pretty tight-lipped. They don't really say a lot about this. They're not really talking about it. And that kind of pisses me off. Yeah. I'm pissed off, right? Mark Miller?
Starting point is 00:02:48 It's a morbid joke, right? Remember when he said that about Chantel Moore? He talked about Chantel Moore, who got shot justifiably by the police for over a year. And he hasn't said a word about this. He hasn't said a word about it. Okay, maybe he did, maybe I just didn't see it, but that's something that, and I think about his words. Like that day when he said morbid joke and you go to a wellness check and you die.
Starting point is 00:03:19 His words weren't even making sense, but now I hear his words. And they make sense for Shelby Patton. I'll bet we play that clip. Yeah, this is dumb. But his words work now. I'm pissed. I'm outraged. He's pissed. He's outraged. Wouldn't it have a lot?
Starting point is 00:03:43 been great if he came out and said that about the driver who killed Shelby Patton's Travers. I watched in disgust. Yeah. What? Yesterday a number of these incidents. Yeah. Bits, doesn't it?
Starting point is 00:04:11 This is a pattern that keeps repeating itself. Repeating itself. Yeah, no shit, doesn't it? Why aren't they saying that? but they don't they don't they stand up for the criminal disgraceful dehumanizing and violent act yeah
Starting point is 00:04:26 it was wasn't it fits right he's talking about a justified shooting he's sticking up for a criminal act somebody tried to attack a police officer with a knife he talked about this for a year
Starting point is 00:04:45 and he's not saying a word about what happened to Patton Why is that? Don't you find that a little strange? We've been having meetings, systemic racism meetings for over a year. We support the criminal and we call the good guy racist. But he's not saying this actor's, if we go with his thinking, with Mark Miller's thinking, if we think like he does, then why isn't he calling what happened to Patton? Racist?
Starting point is 00:05:31 I know it's ridiculous. but he's ridiculous they go about their day yeah sorry to hear that happened they go about their day comes to a criminal they'll talk about it till the end of time
Starting point is 00:05:45 when I first saw the report I thought it was some morbid joke yep I guess I'm tired of listening to these jerks put down the people that are making a difference in this world
Starting point is 00:06:05 cleaning up Their shit. Their mess. Calling us racist. And then when something happens to a police officer, a good police officer that has it together was a good kid growing up. 26 years old, married. Brother, mom, dad. Grandparents.
Starting point is 00:06:33 They don't say anything. They go about their day. So I guess the point of the video is I'm a little bit angry. When you retire, you actually listen to these guys. talk. I never used to. And I can't believe when I'm here. And the silence speaks volumes, doesn't it? They don't say anything. And they call us racist. They call police officers racist. What else did I think about? Thought about Indian Head Police Station and the members that had to go to that call. Oh, man, I couldn't imagine. I've been lucky in my career. I didn't have to
Starting point is 00:07:22 do something like that. They think about the police officer that had to tell the wife. Yuck. How tough. How terrible. And I feel bad for you guys right now. Feel bad for his family.
Starting point is 00:07:39 I feel bad for him. You know, you... And I hate it when people say, well, you know... He knew what he signed up for. No. No, he didn't. You never think as a cop
Starting point is 00:07:51 that you're actually going to die. You walk past the cenotaph at depot. You don't ever think you're going to be on the wall. Ever. It's not what he signed up for. Then I get mad at the court system. I'm not a cop anymore, so I can't run this guy. I can't run their criminal records.
Starting point is 00:08:22 But I'm going to go out on a limb and guess. Three or four pages, maybe five, six or seven. And it guaranteed a lot of it says stay a proceeding, stay a proceeding, stay a proceedings, stay of proceedings. Breach, breach, breach, breach, breach. How many times has he breached conditions? Was he on conditions? When he committed this murder? And why is it murder? Why isn't it murder? Why is it manslaughter? I want to know, but I can't. I can't find out. I want to know who let him out on conditions. How many times did he violate his conditions? How many times did a police officer have a bail hearing with this guy just to have him released into the community?
Starting point is 00:09:14 That's what Mark Miller and these politicians should be working on. Not freeing them. Keeping them in jail. I'm sick and tired of hearing this. The system's racist. The police are racist. There's more groups. I don't know how they word it.
Starting point is 00:09:37 There's a certain amount of groups that are over-representing the jail system. Why is that, they say? The system's racist. The police officers are racist. No. It's because they're. committing the crimes. But nobody wants to say that.
Starting point is 00:10:02 Oh, that can't be. How can that be? Broken families, that's why. That's a start. There's a large number, there's a large group of people in jail that are of a different color because they're committing
Starting point is 00:10:27 crime. That's why they're in jail. Anyways, love to see his criminal record. Love to see her criminal record. In an at jail, Elphonse, Travers. Looked at a article back in 2007, this kid went to jail. He's been in and out of prison, so he went to jail in 2010. Home invasion.
Starting point is 00:11:05 Calls up a lawyer. Tells a lawyer back in 2007 tells her something about she's going to die. The next night or a couple nights later, him and three other. his brother, Colin, they bust into the home. They break into the home. Her husband wakes up to her screaming. And he basically saves the day. He fends them off. Alfon says afterwards to somebody, basically we couldn't do what we wanted to do because he was home. What was he going to do? His brother murdered somebody, stabbed somebody to death. Colin. And why can't I find a picture anywhere? Why isn't the media have a picture of Elphonse?
Starting point is 00:12:03 Travers. Why haven't they dug into this? Come on. For the past year, how many pictures of people have we seen that were killed by police? Over and over and over again, a cop dies. And you don't shit on the criminal? How can you not shit on the shit rat? You have to.
Starting point is 00:12:26 How can you do that to Canada? How can you do that to the police officers? I'm not saying you have to go on and on and on about somebody's, a police officer's death when they die. That's fine. If you want to go on with your business and go on with your business. But don't do it with a criminal. Don't do it when somebody does something bad. And then they die from it.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Don't focus. Don't tell me that they were in the middle of turning their life around. I don't want to have to hear that for a year. We all know it's bullshit. It's to keep you elected to make you look important. That's why Mark Miller's not talking about it. It doesn't suit him. It doesn't work.
Starting point is 00:13:18 It doesn't benefit him. I'm sorry there's not enough white people in jail. And that's another thing. It says silence? Are the politicians silence? Are they silent about this? Because maybe they do look at it as racial? This incident with Patton?
Starting point is 00:13:46 The guy who ran a moment. over. It was a stolen vehicle. Police officer had to pull him over, right? That's racist. Driver probably didn't have a driver's license. That's racist. I know it sounds dumb. But who knows, maybe some of them actually think that. And if Patton did, survive and was able to
Starting point is 00:14:17 get this guy and kill this guy, we'd never hear the end of it. It would go on forever. They would want his head. I guess that's what makes me sick to my stomach. And I don't know. You know what? I don't know why. There's got to be a reason why it's manslaughter. That part I don't get.
Starting point is 00:14:47 Because if they hurt Patton really, really bad where he was in a coma, I know they probably would have charged the guy with attempt murder. So I don't know why it's manslaughter. But there's got to be a reason and I'm not going to, I'm not going to criticize it. Well, I am. I am going to criticize it because I want it. to be murder. I don't want it to be manslaughter. I don't want this guy to get maybe 10 years and be out. I can't wait to learn about his criminal record, his criminal past, and how many free tickets he got
Starting point is 00:15:24 out of jail. It better be life. It better be. Anyways, great little family there. We got Colin and now we got the other brother. Alphonse. Got some murders under their belt. We still don't know what he looks like That just blows my mind Blows my mind We don't know what he looks like You can't find a picture of him anywhere When it's really easy to grab a school yearbook media
Starting point is 00:15:55 Anything You can confirm anything You got more power than a lot of people If you really want it till you'd find it But they stay away from it Because they don't really want you to know the truth Bums you out It bums you out as a cop
Starting point is 00:16:13 Or a retired cop You know, it's funny, I still think I'm not comp and I'm not. I put my feet into the, you know, his wife's shoes. In that police station, Indian head. That's pretty, pretty bad, pretty terrible. And it bugs me that I did the video because I don't have the words to even express myself. I know I'm not even coming across, right? I was just like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:16:54 if I buddy if I was sitting with a buddy and he said what'd you think about that oh like what do you say oh it's terrible the word doesn't even describe it stay safe you know
Starting point is 00:17:15 what's that well stay safe out there right that's not possible know your surroundings fuck off you know what I mean
Starting point is 00:17:33 anyways Patton sorry this happened to you man anybody who takes your life away that early should never get out of jail needs to be punished for murder not manslaughter has to be murder so maybe the politicians can work out that shit
