Hey guys, Clinton here.
I used to be a cop.
And then I quit.
And now I talk and I say things.
I talk about policing and about life and stuff like that.
That's what I do now.
I'm going to show you a video because I want to do more of these.
It's all about quantity over quality, I think.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hope you're having a good night.
It's nighttime.
Let's watch a video.
Let's dive right in.
to it. It happened January 10th in Texas. At a place called Killeen, K-I-L-Een. Probably saying that wrong.
But that's where it happened. Cop goes to a call. He gets a call, a 911 call from the family members in the house.
It's a man that's suffering from some kind of mental health issue. Let's watch it.
336 copy 2 LPs first one's Texas is Charles Norah Robert 9531 Charles Norah Robert 9531
Also Texas John John John John John 0 31 John John John John 0 3 1 actually it's not John John John John John is racist
Claim police he actually said killing police killing police is so fucked up
Is a door open?
Hello
Hey, okay.
How are you?
Come on in.
Come on in.
Okay.
Hold on, man, let me see.
Let me, no, no, no.
Come on in.
No, no, no, no, no.
I'm gonna walk back out.
I don't work like this.
Hey, hey.
I love that comment.
You guys should use that.
I don't work like this.
I don't work like this.
And how creepy is that?
Come on in.
Coaxing them in.
Come on in.
No, no, come on in.
I don't work like that.
The cop realized
is he's made a mistake. He's alone. He has no backup. He knows that he needs to get out of the house.
And I don't know. That comment is money. I don't work like that, bra. It's de-escalation.
That's what it is. No, no. I'm going outside. I'm going to go outside and that's what he does.
And that was a smart decision. I like it. If you don't feel comfortable entering a situation,
there's nothing wrong than getting yourself out of that situation. You're allowed to leave.
Just because you're in the house doesn't mean you have to stay in the house.
Get out if you feel uncomfortable, and that's what he did.
I don't work like this.
Give me the channel.
Okay, the cop just said, give me the channel.
I don't know what that means, so I'm just guessing.
I think give me the channel means it lets everybody else know that you got an issue,
you got a problem, you need backup because you're going to hear sirens in a second.
Give me the channel could also mean, I don't want anybody else talking on the channel.
this is my channel. Don't interrupt. I don't want. Leave the channel open for me to relay messages to
everybody else. Information messages? Wow. I really am retarded. No, I quit. I quit. I really did quit.
It was important to keep the channel open. There were so many times where I'd go to a call and it'd be a
high-risk situation. We'd have our gun out. Bad shit would be going on and you would have to say on the
radio, keep the channel open. It's my channel. I don't want anybody else talking. Because I'm telling
you, you would have members. They know that you're at the high risk situation. Do you think they care?
No, they're going 10-11. They're pulling vehicles over. And you have to listen to this. Dispatch,
I'm 10-11. And now dispatch and them are talking, well, you got your gun out at another situation.
I got to do an episode on that. I want the air open. The air is mine. That's why.
what I'm trying to say. Oh my God.
Hey, hey, hey, king up, give me the channel.
I had to come outside. There's about six of them in there. He came rushing at the door.
So he's outside and that's all part of de-escalation. He's outside and he's waiting. He's
not saying a word. He's staring at the door. He wants to make sure that nobody, that bad guy
doesn't come out of the door. You hear the sirens in the background. He's waiting for backup.
Take it by faith. Let me see your hands. Let me see your hands. I want to taste a point. Let me
see your head. Okay, he's got the taser out, right? He's got the taser out. Some people are going to
have a problem with that. Jay's going to have a problem with that. You don't have lethal
overwatch, but I would have the taser out. It's one of the best tools ever. What's the subject
doing? What's his behavior? He's not combative. Tinchy-winchy. He's a little non-cooperative.
I don't even think he'd call it. He's not active resistant. So why not have the taser out?
Just in case he does something. The cops alone.
I don't think it's a bad call, having the taser out.
The only problem with it is if bad guy has a weapon,
then you're forced to transition to your firearm,
and that's going to take time.
Like I said, I don't mind this.
I don't mind it.
But what I would be thinking right at this moment,
I need distance.
I'm backing up.
I'm backing up.
I'm going to get,
I'm going to get as much distance as I can.
I don't have backup
and distance is time
distance is everything
if he's going to be combative
I'm going to tase him immediately
if the taser doesn't work
I'm gonna I'm gonna transition to my pepper spray
baton
or go hands on
that's what I would be thinking the whole time
let me see your hands
let me see your hands
want to taser point let me see your hands
get down on the ground
get down on the ground
get down on the ground get down on the ground
Get down on the ground.
Get down on the ground.
You're going to get tased.
You're going to get tased.
One taste, one taste.
Taser works. He drops.
That's exactly how they drop.
Just boom.
When it works, when it's effective,
boom, that's how they just, that's how they drop.
It's awesome.
It'll drop a horse?
I don't know if that's true.
Okay, now he's tased the subject.
Hopefully the prong sticks.
in and if he tries to get up he'll hit the button again and he'll give him another five-second ride okay
it goes on the radio it goes one tase one tase stay off the radio man you focus on controlling your
subject stop talking i i've seen so many videos or members are so quick they need to talk on the
radio they need to explain exactly what they just did you don't have them under control so so stop talking
on your radio until you have them under control.
One taste, one taste.
Lay down on your back.
Lay down on the back.
Looks like he's getting up.
You know why he's getting up?
Because one of the prongs came out, guaranteed 100%.
So now what do you do?
You put the taser away and you transition to pepper spray, right?
Or a baton.
or lay down on your back
lay down on the back
lay down on the back
I'm going to shoot you I'm going to shoot you
shot the fire, shot the fire, shut the fire
stop get on the ground, get on the ground
get on the ground, stay down, stay down, stay down, stay down
stay down, stay down
Right here, right here by my car
Turn around
Lay down on the ground
Let me help you lay down on the ground
Lay down on the ground now
Lay down on the ground
I will help you if you let me lay down on the ground
Lay down on the ground
Lay down on the ground
Sir, please lay down on the ground
Seal
Please lay down on the ground sir
Please lay down on the ground
Wait, you stay
No, you sleep gun
Oh, please
We're gonna help you
We need you to lay down
We're gonna help you there
Put him in cuffs
Put him in a cuffs
Me
This is just me
And I might have been wrong
I might have been dead
But if it was me
Taser fail
I'm going to the pepper spray
Pepper spray
Pepper spray is brutal
If pepper spray
doesn't work
I'm probably going to run around in circles for a while until my backup shows up.
And I'm not criticizing this cop because who did this?
The bad guy did this.
Do you know what I mean?
If this was the RCMP and that was an RCMP member, you'd be screwed.
They would throw the book at you.
You would be going to court.
You'd be charged.
You'd be going to court.
You'd be tied up for five to eight years probably.
I wouldn't. That's what I think. You shot an unarmed man? I mean, they can't have that, right?
They can't have that. And the commissioner's not going to stick up for you.
Hey, back up, back up, back up. Back up. Back up. Back up.
What did you shoot him at, Ray? I don't know. He just same charges, so I shot.
Okay. I need to roll over this way. I need to find where you shot.
Yeah. Yeah. Had no choice, man. Damn it.
I see wrong.
Did we have a firearm for one?
No, he just charged me after I tased him.
He pulled the tase of prongs and still came running at me.
He's by my house, by myself, God damn it, man.
I told him lay on the ground.
Go to your phone.
You heard it, were you heard it, man?
Hey, sir, I'm gonna pray for you, okay?
All right?
Our Father, warden heaven, hallow be thy name.
Thy kingdom come that will be done or not others that is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses.
As we forgive those to trespass against us,
and lead us not the temptation.
Deliver us from evil, amen.
Anyway, the prayer doesn't work.
He dies. He did.
I thought to myself, how could they have avoided bad guy dying?
And I immediately thought,
fuck, they even really give a shit what I think.
But I thought, I'm going to tell you what I thought.
Don't go to a call alone.
I don't know the reason why he went alone,
but he didn't need to go alone.
He could have waited for backup because then you have more options for less lethal.
Two cops, you've got nothing but less lethal that you could use.
That's one way to avoid it.
The other way would be you bring a nurse, right?
You let the nurse go because they specialize in de-escalation.
And yeah, they get attacked and probably killed.
But the point is the bad guy lives and that's really what it's all.
about right so that would have saved them a nurse showing up absolutely maybe they got a point there
like when they want the nurses to go to these calls yeah it's going to save the bad guy's life
gonna kill the nurse though that's my video obviously the family is asking for the cop to be
fired and probably charged and hung and all those good things right thanks for watching it was good
practice i think bye bye
I don't know.
