When you guys, when you guys, yes, when you guys, test, test. Have you guys ever had a Coca-Cola? Of course you've had a Coca-Cola, right? Have you ever had a Coca-Cola? Have you ever poured Coca-Cola into a glass? The answer is probably, yes. Have you ever had ice with that Coca-Cola? Probably, right?

Do you prefer it with ice? Probably. You probably do. why do you have ice in your Coca-Cola? I'm just curious. Peace, ice is fun, right? Ice is, it keeps it cool, keeps a drink nice and cool. It's enjoyable.

Nothing beats a cold Coke, right? You know what I mean? And I've had a few phone calls, and I've had a couple comments, and people aren't understanding the ice that I put in my coconut or my wine. And I just thought I'd just give my, why am I talking about this? By the way, look what the wife got me. I asked her to go bring me, give me a bottle of wine. I said, Pinot Grigio, Copper Moon.

I know it's around the same. She got me naked grape, okay? Like naked grape. That's going to be fun. Talk about a headache. You know what she's? I said, well, why didn't you get the one I usually drink? It all tastes the same.

No, it doesn't. Like it was my fault. Don't you know? All wines taste the same. So I put ice in my wine because why wouldn't I? It makes sense. Just like you put ice in your Coke. I'll even put it.

I'll take it one step farther. If you have a cup of apple juice, why wouldn't you put ice in it? Try it. It's way better. What else? Oh, I knew I was going to come down here and be like this. Dumb.

I wasn't going to talk about any of that stuff. Why did I put that up there? I got two packages here, guys. Two packages? And I'm going to talk about your service and personnel police file that you have a right to. All police. It's a video for all police. It's your personnel.

What the hell is it? What is it? What's it called? Service file and personnel file. Okay? So your service file and your personnel file. That's what it's called. I tried to print it off because they gave it to me on CD form.

And my printer, it needs a new laser cartridge now, so I couldn't print all of it off. That's it right there. Remember I did that video on RCMP medical files that you got? That include really juicy emails that... you were never aware. It just had really juicy emails. Get your medical file

and read the juicy emails that your bosses have wrote to health services. I don't even know why I have it out. Maybe I'll show a card up. It'll be the video. You click on that card and I'll take you to that video that I'm talking about right now. It tells you how to get this, mother.

Okay. Personnel and service file. What was I going to say about it? It's one of those nights, guys. You know, I'm just like, yeah. I'm going to go over it. When you get your file, you know, I enjoyed getting this file. For the most part, sometimes you get this stuff and you're like, eh,

I wish I never got that. I wish I never read that. But this brought me right back. It goes, it starts at when you're an applicant. So you read your old application. everything that you handed in on your application, like you're typing, if you went to university, your resume, it's a kick to go through and read it. There's some things that are going to be in there that are going to make you happy

and some things that aren't, they're going to make you mad, some of the things. You're going to read what staffing has. Oh, what staffing thinks about it. That's going to be in there. Stuff like that. And who else? What else? Right?

every single assessment that's been written on you, it's in there. And when I got it, the first page was me in Depot. They took a picture of me on my search. And they said, that's the picture. If you die, that's the picture we give to the media. Maybe that's why I'm not smiling. I don't know. I'm really not smiling there.

And then there's a second picture. It was the first week we were in Depot. First day, I think. They took a picture of me for my. ID card and I had a mollet. I had long hair. Okay, I thought it'd be neat to go there with long hair like an idiot.

Okay? And I stayed like that for a week. Because I was told you didn't have to get a haircut for a week and Oh, what a... Guys, if you go to Deppo, don't draw attention to yourself, okay? Don't do that. You dummy. God, I was sexy, wasn't it? Jesus. Look at that.

My God. God, I look good. Not anymore. Naked grape. It's all the same. It's still a pino. Grigio. I'm going to tell you how to get your file. I probably should have said that at the beginning. But I think this is going to be called how to get your file or whatever. It is easy. Japanese. Am I allowed to say that? I think I. My wife, she's part Chinese. so I'm sure I can say it. But it's really easy to get. That was a bad joke. I went through this file when I first got it and I haven't since.

And you're not going to watch me go through my file. I just can't help looking at some of this stuff. There's an assessment. No. Oh my God. I forgot we had those. Do you guys still do the learning plan? Performance evaluation and learning plan?

You got to put a learning plan down? What's my activities? Read a book. Holistic leader. Third edition by James Tegger. Identify my success. Applying what I learn within my team. Sure you are.

And what's my investment? I'm going to read it. That's what I put down. I'm going to read the book. That's really good, Clint. See, it's just kind of nice. Oh, yeah. There's an assessment.

This guy, this is the worst assessment I've ever had in my entire. life and it was at my end of my career. But he writes it. I wasn't, why am I talking about this? I didn't even know he was my supervisor. My supervisor got transferred to an enamel. Nobody told me that this guy was my supervisor. And he writes an assessment on me.

I'm like, you're not my supervisor. Why are you writing an assessment on me? Oh, yeah, yeah. They didn't even, we didn't even have that conversation. I just had that in my head, actually. I made that up. That conversation did not, but that's what I was thinking. Why are you right?

I didn't even get a chance to talk to him about it. He went away. Yeah. So when he wrote my assessment, instead of like having a conversation with me about it, he finds my box, you know those RCMP boxes? You know what I'm talking about. Any place is sitting there.

He puts a little sticky note on it. Hi, Clint, sign your assessment. I don't know when I'm going to be back. But that's what you do if you want to get promoted. it if you're thinking promotion you're thinking promotion I got to develop somebody maybe a corporal I'm gonna put down some ideas on this assessment I'm not really gonna talk to him about it confront him with it but gonna write it down let him know for the first time ever in his life and then his next assessment he's

gonna excel at and I'm gonna be a staff sergeant maybe this see I told you it would make you angry right see I'm already angry I'm angry I'm angry I shouldn't go through this. I'm in that mood where I don't want to be positive. And even if there's positive comments, I'm going to be like, oh, give me a break. This is how I'm feeling right now tonight. One of my assessments in Port Albertine.

Another one. This is what the staff sergeant wrote. Corporal Jaws is starting to hit his stride. He is open to direction. No, I'm not. And new learning. No, I'm not. I am not open to new learning, dude.

You know nothing about new learning. You could stick your direction up your ass. Really, that's really what I'm thinking. And don't tell me I'm starting to hit my stride. You! I'm starting to hit my stride? Ten years before this I hit my stride. Starting to? You don't even know me. And you're writing this about me?

Don't even know me. I'm starting to hit it. It's amazing. Just because they're staff sergeants, they think in their head that they're smarter than you. They think, I'm a staff sergeant. Therefore, you should be open to learning and direction because my learning, my teaching you is I'm smarter than you.

So therefore, I'm wiser and you're going to want my experience. Well, no, no. No, you're not smarter. You're far from smarter. and you possibly never did hit your stride and you think you're going to teach me shit I'm not one of those guys that says oh you can't tell him nothing

you can't tell him nothing that's not true but this dude wasn't going to teach me shit when you read this when you retire you kind of get a kick out of it starting that jaws is starting to hit us

you haven't even hit your street yet. You're not striding yet. But you're starting. You're starting. You're getting there. You're getting there. That's how you become inspector. Which happened. This was my last assessment in mission, and it was the best assessment I've ever been given ever. It was from Rob Dixon. He was a staff sergeant. And he put a lot of time into it. You could tell. And he said a lot of good things. He just wrote it really well. Like he put effort and time into it. And it was a lot of last day for me at mission. It was a last day for me at mission. And he gave me the assessment. And I wrote, I said, Rob, thank you for taking the time to complete this. I can see the hard work

you put in it. Appreciate it. He gave it to me. And he said to me, Clint, I would have you back. I'd have you back here. It was such a great goodbye. And that's, I'll never forget that. That's all I needed to hear. What a great thing to say. I'd have you back. I mean, that meant everything to me. That's mushy. Am I being mushy tonight? And then he turned his back on me.

After he said that, and I said, are you going to? I probably shouldn't. But I said, as kind of, I was like half joking. Because I didn't really think he really was, but I said, are you going to cry? And I was waiting for a laugh. But he stood there with his back still facing me. And he goes, I'm an emotional guy, Clint. And I thought, holy shit, man.

You're going to cry. Why didn't we talk like this when we were working? It only happened on the last day. We could have had a good talk before then. You know what I mean? Do you want to hear the last day in Duncan? Do you want to hear about that one? I'm not prepared to tell this story, but I'm going to tell it anyways.

My last day at Duncan. That was my last day. Never said by to the inspector. Nothing. It was just, we had a bit of a watch function a week or two before, but it was a shitty last day. Mission. See, it's shit like that. That stuff.

See, that, you won't remit. Retired members. Get your service, your copy of your personnel. Why is it? Is it personnel personnel? Personnel. Yeah. You know, personnel was on the RCMP entrance exam as a spelling question.

And I was like, are you, what? No. Why would I know how to spell that? Who puts two ends in there? In personnel, right? I don't know why I just told you that, but, you know, the inspector signed it. He was a, why am I? It's bringing back memories, guys.

It's bringing back memories seeing this as a inspector's name. I went through one, four or five inspectors while I was in mission. Anything to promote. You know what was special about mission? tell you what was special about mission. The watch commander was a corporal. Everywhere else in the lower mainland, I'm pretty sure maybe I guess, I don't know.

Everywhere else, there is no corporal watch commander, either a sergeant, staff sergeant, inspector in some places. So that's what made mission special. And the only reason I promoted to corporal was because when I was in Langley was because I knew mission had,

I could be the watch commander like Duncan. And that's the only job I wanted to do. So what does the new inspector do? We got to increase the watches when he comes over. We got to increase the watches here. The watches are too low. They weren't. They weren't.

I mean, he kept on going to the cities. People in Mission are going to be so pissed off at me for saying this. Okay, it wasn't. It was a lot busier than Port Alberti. okay yeah it would be nice to increase it by one more constable but what does he do he adds another boss to the watches he adds a sergeant there's a sergeant and a corporal run on the watches and it's designed you know what they said they said well this will allow the corporal to be on the road more often right did that ever work out i have no idea i haven't talked to anybody from mission

for years. I don't even know how the system's going. Maybe it's going great. Maybe the corporal's on the road all the time. Piece of sergeant's in the office. But bullshit, I don't believe it for one second. The corporal and the sergeant are inside the office. I'm talking about you.

And the sergeant is bored out of his mind. I know it for a fact. What is he going to do? He's got nothing to do. You would have nothing to do I'm going to read a RCC like, wow. I could just imagine I could picture it. I'm making it up because I don't really know.

But I could just imagine. They should have increased the constable. It's the constable. How do you help out a constable? You get another constable. Not a boss. That does nothing. And we all know you do nothing.

Okay. Good job. You're ruined the Corporal Watch Commander gig. I got so much to say about that. I thought this was going to be a five-minute video. But tell you the truth, she's upstairs and she's got a friend. And they want me to start a fire and show them how to cook a wiener. Last time they were here, they were microwaving their wieners.

Who microwaves a wiener? Oh, I just told you that. Oh, here's another one for mission. It's funny the different people you go through, right? I don't know what that man. I don't know why I'm doing that. Kerple Jorsky is well liked by his watch members. Again, how do you know that?

Okay? Sometimes I am. No matter what, I'm the boss. Most people complain about the boss. I don't know. Maybe I was that day. But how does this person even know? Man, I got a story about me coming back from Pat Leave.

I came back from Pat Leave. nine months off a month in a guy from my watch I'm a month away he messaged me and goes the inmates are running the asylum when you're coming back I'm like give me a break man like can't be that bad goes Clint is terrible can he come back now I show up on my motorhome my 40 foot motorhome I put out the slide Jeff Scott comes into my motorhome

and he can't stop laughing he's like dude what are you doing I said well he won't transfer me so here's my set Here's my motor home. And he told me. And he goes, you got the worst watch in the entire detachment. The worst watch. I don't want to tell this story right now.

But I will. It was an uphill battle that we ended up winning. But man, you get some watches. Don't you? Holy shit. And I don't know. As well liked by his watch, and is however aware that he needs to work on developing

a greater level of networking and relationship building with the detachment support staff. This is from the guy. I call me a shit show. No, it's not. No, sorry. No, it's from somebody else. But what a crock of shit.

I know what this person is talking about. I had a little thing with victim services. It was an older victim services lady And we're talking I don't even know what we're talking about But we're talking about nothing And I remember her looking at me like And there was something that I said

That she didn't like But it was so bizarre So mental illness like type That I know for a fact I didn't say anything that was I was actually giving her a Shit followed me, I guess I don't know

But she took something the wrong way and one day I will remember what that exact conversation is because I wrote it out in a book but it was so goofy and this boss comes up to me why would you do that

Clint why would you talk to the victim services employee like that I'm in the Twilight Zone no I didn't that didn't happen this is crazy she writes it on my assessment

me to No, I didn't. I had a good relationship with the victim services girls. If there's one group I liked, it was victim services girls. You can't break. Who doesn't like victim services? Another wonderful memory. This is so stupid, but I can't get over it. I'm back to the same one.

She writes a little tiny, inty tinky paragraph. And I'm told that assessments are important. So I write my own paragraph, right? I got to fight back. and what do I say? I don't want to bore you guys. So I started writing about myself. Oh, this is embarrassing.

I instituted a new way in which calls for service were dispatched by OCC. Well, that's kind of a big deal, isn't it? I created a whole new way on how calls come in to us. She doesn't mention that part. Who does that? Watch commander. It corrected numerous issues on the, on the, the watch. Calls were

dispatched immediately. And that drove me crazy. Calls were never dispatch immediately. They would just sit in a stupid queue. They would look at the members call sign. Like, oh, we're 106, we're 107, we're 6, 2, we're 6.3. Oh, they're all busy. So they would

just add these calls to the queue. And I'm like, I told dispatchers, there should never be a queue in mission. It should be at zero all the time. Dispatch the call. Just dispatch it. out? Can I have a mission member for an assault in progress? Or an assault? We never had a queue. When another watch came on after us or before us, the queue was empty. They can't say the same. And that was a big deal. You don't write that in the assessment? Should be inspector.

It eliminated member stress and having a large work queue piece. Everybody took their own share and I made sure they did. OCC understood that we were always 10-8. That's the thinking they got to think. You got to just assume that a member's 10-8. We also knew where everybody's location was because it was going over the air. Before I wasn't going on over-the-air, it was going on the computer. Hey, I'm going to give you this file. Hey, I like you.

I got another easy one for you. I know, I know. I know these things. It happened to me. Then I wrote this. I am proud of the relationship that I have with the support staff at the detachment. Yeah. Because that's what I was like back then.

You say that? Well, I'm going to tell you something or two. You're telling me I need work? Well, hold on a second. I think we did a great job with the auxiliary program. See watch was responsible for nearly 400 hours of auxiliary service with our watch during the year. more than any other watch at the detachment. It's kind of a big deal.

There was a guy that was an auxiliary that loved our watch and loved going out with our watch. Was that not a support service? I didn't need to work on that? I don't know why I wrote this in 2010 November when I returned to Sea Watch

the staff sergeant made note that the Sea Watch had the... The staff sergeant said, You got the lowest number of RCCs forwarded to crown it for the year. Your watch does the lowest amount. And then I wrote, for the year of 2011, Sea Watch was responsible for submitting the most RTCCs than any other section in the Detachment.

And big deal will be ding-dong. But they just like that, right? Who cares? Which watch wins the RCC race? I also mentioned I completed a quality assurance on the court brief since September. You don't talk about that? And was given praise first time ever by the staff sergeant for doing a good job, huh?

You don't mention that? Good assessment writing. These are only of a few of the many accomplishments that I have completed throughout the year. I don't even know. Who am I writing this to? They're going to look at her dumb box, right? It's tiny.

See, now I'm pissed off. It's only supposed to be five minutes. Hey guys, I am going to say good things and I'm going to say bad things. I'm not pumping my tires, but you will get to know me by me doing this. But I'm also going to tell you the bad. And I know some of you are thinking, is he for the RCMP? I know the new recruits are thinking that. They're thinking, yeah, well, he's kind of negative.

He's talking that way. No, I'm just telling you my story. I'm for the RCMP. I'm for the members. And when, you know, when I, you know, when I, I say the RCMP this, the RCMP that, sometimes I don't even know who I'm talking to. Or talking about. Like, who am I talking about when I say that? I think I'm talking about, I've noticed that a small amount of RCM bosses are ruining it for the majority of members or a lot of

the members. And I guess that's who I'm talking about. It's kind of like crime. prevention. How does that go again? A small amount of criminals are doing a large amount of the crime or something like that. Small amount of criminals are doing the majority of the crime. That's crime prevention. Well, you'll learn something. Okay. I'm not going to air this, but it's another assessment, and it just, I can't help but talk about it. Sometimes they get it right. He did good, maintaining his cue and not allowing it to get out of control. He was able to spend most of his time on the route where he is needed the most. See, he gets it.

He's very aware of his abilities, able to predict deficiencies before they happen ahead of time. Shares his knowledge to others. He recognizes each person's uniqueness. And this was the guy that called me a shit show. And I forget about this kind of stuff, but I'm surprised he's writing it. thought it was a shit show. Corporal. Does not hesitate to provide his opinions? Well, I stopped doing that, actually, tell you the truth. Well, you know, he's talking about with the watch, but with management. I just gave up on that part, I think. Does not hesitate to provide his opinions even if they differ from

those of others. He does so tactful, tactfully. However, ensuring his opinions isn't understood. This is dumb. provides constructive feedback, delivers, which is, yeah, he's well-liked by his members. There's that thing again. Well, it depends on what day it is. It appears to be well-respected. Yeah, sometimes I was.

He's often, like this, because he noticed it. He is often found sitting and doing his own work in the pit with his team rather than alone in the office. Just because you have your own office that has a door that shuts that is separated from the GD pit

separated from your guys doesn't mean you have to sit in there. It's kind of dumb, right? The pit should be around that office in the office doors at least should be wide open where you're talking to your guys and mingling. That was a dumb

set up admission actually if you think about it. It's night shift I want to sit with them. Even if they don't want me to sit with them. Sea watch now Oh, yeah. C-watch has now consistently had the lowest file count. That's right. He's talking about my file out in my queue, which was important to me.

But you read an assessment from Port Albertan. There's needs of work on a skew... No, I don't. I was the best out every single watch. Every single... Compared to every single watch, our watch had half the files in Port Al-Burney. Needs a work on his watch. No, you dummy.

What show you watching? Idiot! George's done a good job in assisting me in the station NCO role. Yeah, we had a station NCL for a little while. But it's obvious he is much more happier working on the road directly with his team. He places the needs of others before his own. That's nice. Which I do.

I never once threw anybody under the bus and has a genuine concern for the watch members. I thoroughly enjoy working with him and believe he's an asset to the, detachment. I think you're full of shit, but whatever. It's nice. Oh, fuck. You know what? I just thought of something. It rarely places this needs before the others. I wasn't going to do this. I actually just thought of it. Why so why am I doing it? I got this. Pain and the Prick supervisor from the lower mainland that is, uh, created a fake account and follows me and like, likes to leave some nasty comments to me. And I just read,

that I readily place the needs of others before my own. And I have a concern for watch members. And I remember reading a comment from this dick. And I guess I take it personal. He says a supervisor, and even though he has a fake name, he thinks I don't know who he is. The woman up top told me not to talk about it.

And I probably shouldn't be a probably edited this, part out but what was it one of the comments was here yeah right here clint did you really stand up for your members were you really that guy that put others before himself yeah yeah it was actually now you know now you know have answered your question i got proof and documentation about it it could be the smallest thing when you're going through your file you see old names and and and you're like I got a transfer notice. I'm going to recruiting from from Langley which I never did get a cost transfer nothing I didn't get any monies I found out later that they were supposed to give me a bunch of money because I didn't move whatever I screwed that up but you see the names and I went

to work for Joe Lou he was he was the boss and and Lovelace and I forget his first name Steve or something like that but Joe Lou and Lovelace I mean, those, why can't everyone be like those guys, like those bosses? I don't know. I could have stayed there for 15 years. Seeing the names at, uh, it's neat. There's another one here from health services that, but from a doctor that said, uh, he has a broken rip. And no, he didn't say I have a broken rip, but that's what I had.

He goes, this, I go to Chilowack to do my, every three years you do your training. What's that training called? You know that thingy. And I go and do it for a week. And I'm supposed to do the paratests. I go see the doctor and he pokes me in the side. He checks out my ribs. I got a broken rib.

Big deal, right? I'm not going to hurt it again. I'm not going to hurt it worse. Because I broke up a ball, brawl fight. It was a everybody in a bar fight. What do you call those things? A brawl? It's a, damn it.

Anyway, I was the first one in. I got in a fight with a guy, and I guess I got a broken rib. Ert showed up, and they started using all the batons on everybody. It was kind of, I won't say anything about that, but, but yeah, just, so I go back to work. I'm out on the road. I'm driving around. I didn't even know he wrote this.

And my bosses call me in to say, look it, you can't work. You got to do light duties. So when I woke up the morning, in the morning, I went to the doctor and said, no, my ribs fine. It's not broken. Okay. I convinced another doctor to say that my rib was fine. I went back on the road.

Do you even care? Why would you care? You know what I mean? I wouldn't care if you told me that story. So maybe I shouldn't tell this story. That's how I think. Like if you told me that story, I'd fall asleep. Oh, wow.

broke up a bar fight. That's good. Oh, you broke your rib, but I'm sure you did. I'm sure it was really broken. That's what I would be like. Honey, can you change it? To a different YouTube channel. I think I've heard enough.

I wouldn't blame you. This is, like, I'm going through my paperwork right now. Kids left cigarettes down here. I hate it when they do that. A progress report from Depot. Like, come on.

Pierre Boulet, I wouldn't have remembered that name. He always said big times. Dan Gilfoyle. And Gary Kingsbury? I don't know. I can't read that out. Great guys. Great guys.

I wonder how much they've changed, though, right? You know what I mean? I don't know why I just said. I just ruined it, right? Because I think, why would I be so negative? What is this? I handled well. under pressure, scenario training, final testing.

Well, it's from Deppo. He's well liked by his peers. Well, sometimes I was. Like, how would you know? It has a very good sense of humor which he uses appropriately. Until I became a cop, right? Then you use it inappropriately. Do you know how many stories I got to tell about that?

I got to talk to my lawyer first about that. I don't even have a lawyer. Why'd I say my lawyer? I have to talk to a lawyer about that. Just look out when you go to a lawyer. Williams Lake, I'll tell you that. What'd he do? I'll tell you one day what I did.

It was horrific and shocking and worrisome. Sometimes, sometimes, you know, I think back. But what a life. I feel like I've lived a life. I said that the other night to the gal. It feels like I've led a full life already. And I have a kid that's seven years old. She's in grade two.

What's lower than two? It's one. I've lived a life, but I've just started one. It's so weird. A new one. Field coaching program. Oh, yeah. Oh, I got superior on my firearms.

That's right. Because I'm a sharpshooter. That's why. Shit, this is. This just makes me angry. This one's from Duncan. I got needs improvement on records management. This is unbelievable.

planning and coordination. I start as a cop. We take as many files as we can. We don't work on those files. But soon I got a queue of 25 files. It's my cue. But every time I go to work, we just take more files, me and my trainer.

This is March 11th. We take file after file after file. No one's looking at the files. I guess I was supposed to. We never worked on them. Ever. We just took more files, more files, more files. There was this thing called diary dates. I didn't know what a diary date was because my trainer never told me.

She thinks in her head that she discussed it with me. But she never did. I didn't know what a red diary date was. I didn't know you get a file and it goes overdue. So you get a file that night. The watch commander takes that file and gives you a 10-day diary date on it. You got 10 days or 30 days. You got 30 days to do something on it.

If you haven't concluded this file by 30 days, you have to ask me for a diary date extension. I didn't know this thing existed because if I knew this would have never happened. Not saying the guy would have hired me, but who knows, right? He did get me on his watch and Duncan at one point. I worked for overtime once on his watch, Larry's watch.
