Clinton Jaws - Police De-escalation can Kill you

Episode Date: October 22, 2020

Police De-escalation can Kill you and will kill police. Police podcast. De-escalation can be dangerous. Is it possible to de-escalate too much when police training? Former cop believes so. There has ...been too much attention and importance put on de-escalation techniques which can lead to the suspect getting a head start on police. (hot line voicemail 604-330-2512) I talk about nurses and social workers attending mental health calls and how idotic that can be. Police are the best trained people in the world to de-escalate a situation. Just because someone is suffering from mental health does not make them a victim. -I talk about a training scenario and the argument I had with the instructor. -my childs bad talking and what annoys me about tim hortons and mcdonalds drive-thrus. -oh and the time a bad guy spat his gingivitis in my eyes and having to go on the hiv cocktail

Starting point is 00:00:02 Anyone got AIDS? In their ass? That's what I overheard my son say. Last night, me and the wife sitting on the couch, son in his bedroom playing the Xbox. And I heard him ask one of his buddies. He didn't even ask. He just told him, you have AIDS in your ass. Terrible thing to say, right?
Starting point is 00:00:27 Me and the wife, we couldn't stop laughing. What an awful thing to say, though. So he comes out of his bedroom and I'm like, so which one of your buddies has AIDS in his ass? And he starts laughing hysterically. Kind of a weird question, isn't it? So I'm like, no, which one of your buddies has AIDS in his ass? I just, and that's kind of weird that he has, you think AIDS are, well, maybe he does.
Starting point is 00:01:01 You think AIDS, or, maybe it is. I don't even know, is it? Is it even possible? So I keep it up. And I'm like, which one of your buddies? He says AIDS, is it, is it right in his ass? Is it right inside his ass, the AIDS? And my son just can't stop laughing.
Starting point is 00:01:19 That's Jamie, Dad, and, you know, we were just joking around. I'm like, dude, you might, you know, parents listen to the other end. You might not want to say stuff like that. And I'm like, where are you getting this stuff from? Anyways. I know it's bad talk. But it's only, the only reason I could overhear him, say that is because he has Xbox in his room. It's COVID times. Can I use, can I even say that anymore as an
Starting point is 00:01:49 excuse? But when I was a kid, my parents never heard what I said because I was never inside the house. Now they're inside the house. And we can hear everything they say. And I think part of a parent's job is to let a lot of it go. But I'm thinking, does he get it from me? Is he getting this stuff from me the way I talk? Maybe. Maybe is he getting it from his mom? Maybe as a family we say silly things all the time. My wife just bought a mallet that you hit, you tenderized meat with.
Starting point is 00:02:29 This was yesterday, again last night. I'm sitting on the deck. I could hear him smashing this mallet against chicken. And all I could think about is there's going to be chicken flying all up on the cupboards. I run in the kitchen. I'm like, you're getting chicken shit everywhere. And then we started laughing. And I know it's not funny, but for us, it was funny.
Starting point is 00:02:48 We say weird things, strange things. They don't come out right. I had a titch of AIDS once, but I was able to get rid of it. True story. I'm not going to, this is such a long... Okay, I was trying to arrest a bad guy. He put his gingivitis into my eyes. Bleeding gums, right?
Starting point is 00:03:09 So I go up to the doctor in uniform. Doctors. It's my family doctor was actually working. It goes, cling. You look tired. And I tell him, I see Portuguese, I don't know why he talks like that. And I tell him what had happened. And I wanted the AIDS cocktail to kill.
Starting point is 00:03:25 If you take the AIDS cocktail, it'll kill everything in your system. But he doesn't want to give it to me because how you know we have Jingving us? And I'm like, doctor, he has gingeritis. Okay, we arrested him for bestiality. I'm fairly certain he's not flossing and brushing twice daily. So I ended up going on the cocktail on. I beat AIDS How about that?
Starting point is 00:03:49 I never know how to start these things, okay, guys, so bear with me. I got some things I want to say. I probably shouldn't have brought up gingeritis, but did you know 75% Americans have gingeritis? Of course he has gingeritis. He's not taken care of his... Everybody re-arrested it had gingervitis.
Starting point is 00:04:08 Arrested him for raping animals. Okay, he's not flossing. So maybe, you know, just the way I talk, maybe that's why my child talks like that. You got AIDS up in your ass. there. Are they in there? Maybe that's why he told. I started thinking. I don't like how I come across to people. I don't like how grumpy I am. I don't like how impatient I am. I should be more polite. I'm not a polite person, but I'm working on it. At least I know it. This morning I go get my
Starting point is 00:04:43 medium coffee and I'm in a hurry and I don't know why I'm in a hurry. I got nothing to do. I mean, this is a day. This is what I'm doing today. Coffee. That's a, day. So why am I in such a hurry? I got nowhere to go. Nothing to do, but talk on here. But I'm in a hurry. I go through the drive-thru. And to speed things up, I say to the guy, all I want is a medium coffee, two-sugar, that's it. And I'm ready to drive away, right? Okay, sir, can I get you anything else? And now I'm annoyed. And I hate myself for it, but I don't say anything. until he says, sir, do you want anything else? And then I say it again because I'm...
Starting point is 00:05:30 Sometimes I act like a jerk. So I say it again. All I want is a medium coffee, two sugar, that's it. Okay, drag. He's telling me the price. I'm already gone. I could hear him in the background. 201.
Starting point is 00:05:41 Then I get up to the... I get up to the window. And I got my hand because I'm going to hurry with my bank card. I got hanging out the window. Like, take my card. Hurry up, come. But he's going to... He's going to hand me the machine.
Starting point is 00:05:56 But he does it this way. Like, well, you just give me the... Just... And I stick my card in. Then he goes to give me my coffee. I'm like, just give me my coffee. Why is everything slow motion? And then I drive away and I feel bad.
Starting point is 00:06:24 You know what he said, is there anything else I can get for you? I said, no, hey, thanks for asking. I should have said that. Or when he's doing everything in slow motion, I should have said, how's your day today? How are you making out? I don't know. I get annoyed easy.
Starting point is 00:06:39 And I got to calm down. I'm mad at the Walmart greeter when I walk in and they don't greet me. Where's my hi? Aren't you supposed to say hi? I won't. You're supposed to greet me, aren't you? You're a Walmart greeter. And then I'm mad when they do say hi to me.
Starting point is 00:06:55 Hi. Hi. That annoys me. I'm in a hurry. Don't say hi to me. Now I'm forced to say hi back to you. Doing good. Fine.
Starting point is 00:07:05 Thanks. That is insane, right? Insane. I always thought that would be the best job in the world. If I work there and somebody didn't say hi to me, I would follow them up the aisle. Hi, hey, hey, remember when you walked in and I said hi? Maybe you didn't hear me hi. I would make them say hi to me.
Starting point is 00:07:27 No, that'd be a terrible job. It'd be a hard job. Well, is it hard? anything you don't want to do would be hard but maybe they love it maybe they love it then i started thinking in my crazy head because these are the things i think wouldn't it be great if all inspectors every cop that became an inspector you had this is so stupid you had to okay you're inspector but when you retire from the force you not have to do three years as a walmart greeter this is what i'm
Starting point is 00:08:01 I envision? Because I'm envisioning, wouldn't it be great if one of my old inspectors was a Walmart greeter and I could go in? I'd be the first one complaining, right? Your Walmart greeter didn't say hi to me. I think he should get a code of conduct. And his attire is a disgrace. He's all disheveled. His boots looks like a bag of dicks. This is the stuff I think about. I got a lot of time on my hands, I guess. I'm spending way too much time on this, but I got nothing but time. A while back, when McDonald's had the Caesar salad, crispy chicken Caesar salad. No word of a lie. I'm in a hurry, right?
Starting point is 00:08:49 I'm not, but I am in my mind. So I pull up to the drive-thru. I got one foot on the brake. I got another foot on the gas. It's in drive. And I already memorized what I'm going to say to the guy so we can get this over and done with and I can get home and eat. So I say to him, all I want is a crispy chicken Caesar salad.
Starting point is 00:09:08 That's it. absolutely sir what kind of dressing would you like with that and it it messed me up i'm like what dressing what he what's he talk and i almost said ranch but that then that would just be a toss salad wouldn't it so i throw it and drive now we're in a conversation and i say to him how do you guys tell me the process how you make caesar salad okay absolutely we put a little bacon bits in there some parmesan cheese, Caesar dressing, and we toss it around. And I said, that's all I want exactly what you just said, okay? That's it. That's all I want. Absolutely, sir. Is there anything else I can get you? I pay for it, and I think afterwards, like, he's being nice to you. Can't you be nice to him? So I need to calm down.
Starting point is 00:10:03 I need to be more polite. I'm saying stupid things. It's catching on to my kids. I don't know. I say dumb things. It's catching on to my kid. But I'm allowed to say dumb things. I'm retouching. I'm nobody important. But isn't it funny when you hear important people say dumb things, stupid things? How about Joe Biden? Let's just talk about him for a second, okay? Just a second. He's possibly going to be the most powerful man in the entire world, running the most powerful
Starting point is 00:10:37 country in the entire world. There's a good chance that he's going to be the next president. Did you hear what he said the other day? We can do this. You can ban choke holes. You can, but beyond that, you have to teach people how to de-escalate circumstances. De-escalate. Aren't you getting tired of this?
Starting point is 00:10:56 Aren't you, isn't this driving you crazy? De-escalate, guys. That's all they say. De-escalation has become political. I'm tired of hearing about it. I think police de-escalate too much. I'm tired of it. That's all police do is de-escalate.
Starting point is 00:11:13 It's been forced down our throats to the point where we did. de-escalate too much. You need to stop focusing on de-escalation. I'm getting really tired of hearing people say it. I'm hearing Trudeau say it. I'm hearing the commissioner saying it. Now, Biden saying it. Stop saying it.
Starting point is 00:11:32 He's going to kill police. It's to the point where police are pausing so much to de-escalate that it's given time for the bad guy to react. And action beats reaction. I'm tired of it. I've been seeing it. If I was a cop today, I would think twice, three times, maybe four times to shoot and then I die.
Starting point is 00:11:51 Enough with it. It's going to get us hurt. It's going to get us killed. If we start listening to these people, and I think police are starting to listen to these people. They don't know what they're talking about. They don't got a clue of what they're talking about, but we're going to end up listening to them when we are.
Starting point is 00:12:05 We are. So instead of anybody coming at you, and the first thing you do is shoot to kill, you shoot them in a leg. There's ways. Because that's what police do, right? That's the first thing they do. When somebody's coming at you,
Starting point is 00:12:17 you just shoot, that's what police do, right? They do it all the time. America has 53 million calls in a year. There's something like 700,000 police officers. 0.02% of half a percent or something like that. They shoot. But he's saying that's the first thing they do. Not only the second thing, it's the first thing.
Starting point is 00:12:36 This guy might be president. This guy's an idiot. Not one police force in America is backing him. Did you know that? This is why. Like, I say dumb shit. shit, but this guy, just shoot him in the leg. What do you even say to people that talk like that?
Starting point is 00:12:58 He's a liar. He's losing his mind. Shoot him in the leg, guys. Hit a moving target, guys. Do you know that a lot, I've seen it. A lot of cops are not a good shot. And you want them to aim for the leg? They aim for center mass, guys.
Starting point is 00:13:21 they aim for center mass the biggest part and hopefully they get apica hopefully if you aim for center mass you might get a leg or an arm they don't shoot to kill they shoot to stop the threat you moron have you ever tried to shoot a moving target that's what he wants police to do though he wants it doesn't matter if you're going to go home or not he wants you to give them time to get at you But what he doesn't know is sometimes even when you do give bad guy lethal shots, they could run a thousand meters, then die. It takes time to die. And you want us to go for their legs?
Starting point is 00:14:06 Until they catch up to you? How many videos have I shown you where somebody's... Shoot them in the leg. Shoot them in the leg. It doesn't matter where... Could you imagine? Where would those bullets go if we actually were aiming for 10? toes and feet and arms.
Starting point is 00:14:30 Where'd those other bullets go? We don't shoot to wound. Don't you got to account for your bullets? Every cop would be fired if we shot to wound. They would ask me, didn't you fear death and grievous bodily harm? So why are you shooting them in the leg? You put all your colleagues in danger
Starting point is 00:14:57 because he chose to shoot for his knees. It's insane. They don't aim for the legs because they're going to miss. We don't shoot to kill. They shoot to stop the threat. And this guy's going to be president. Maybe. He's a Democrat.
Starting point is 00:15:17 His thinking is the same as Trudeau. Trudeau thinks the same way. Maybe I'm the only one that cares about this. I don't know. We'll shoot him in the leg. I'll get his fingers. If he's holding a gun, a knife, shoot him in the hand. You know, I'm sorry, but.
Starting point is 00:15:38 and I won't say that part what I just thought but yeah there's a lot of shitty shots out there guys and that goes through everything that you learn at firearms goes out well probably goes out the window a lot of it there's no aiming when somebody when you have to shoot somebody have to shoot somebody fast there's no firearm stance there's no right leg back front leg forward good stance solid stance gun up to your eyes not eyes to the gun trigger pull two hands on the gun
Starting point is 00:16:16 good aim all that goes out the window when your adrenaline is going through the roof a lot of times it's one-handed you got to get the bullet off quickly you want you to aim for the leg yeah you got a leader that's saying this stuff how many cops hurt it
Starting point is 00:16:40 how many cops will now aim for the legs and then lose their job or be more it's possible from what from his words i won't say it i won't say it i don't want to get kicked off youtube but uh this is insane i don't know tired of it i guess tired of hearing about it i don't even need to talk about it anymore but tired of hey clint why don't cops just shoot them in their legs or their arms you know or their face fingers, fingertips. Why don't they just do that? Because we'd miss. People got to stop thinking that police officers are ninjas. They're not even close to being ninjas. Let's keep going. Psychological test. And the last thing I'll say, and I'm sorry, because it's really, I think,
Starting point is 00:17:41 really, really important is you have to be in a position where you are able to identify, identify the things that have to change. And one of the things that has to change is so many cops get called into circumstances where somebody is mentally off. Every day, all the time, every shift, constantly, sometimes an entire shift. Do you know many cops go up to the hospital dealing with mental health? I did it. I once spent an entire shift up at the hospital with a mental health dude. There was nobody to take him to Victoria.
Starting point is 00:18:13 So I went back to the detachment for a bit, for a break. Went back to the hospital, drove that guy. to Victoria to get rid of them. We spend the majority of our time with mental health individuals, and they're pros at it. There's nothing better than a police officer talking to somebody who's suffering for mental health that I know of. Okay?
Starting point is 00:18:43 I know there's nurses that that's what they specialize in. But man, for a cop to go into a dangerous situation where they do it all the time dealing with mental health, they're pros at it. There's nobody better in my mind to deal with a situation than a police officer, especially when it comes to de-escalation. Anyways, let's just shoot him in the leg.
Starting point is 00:19:09 Let's hear, let's, he's got more to say, right? Let's hear what he has to say. Off. Like what happened not long ago, that guy with the knife? Like what happened with that guy with the knife when, uh, I know what he's talking about. The cops killed him who was holding a knife.
Starting point is 00:19:26 And if they didn't kill him, that guy with a knife would have killed the cops. Keep on going. That's why we have to provide within police departments psychologists and social workers to go out with the cops on those calls, some of those 911 calls. Here we go again. Moist. Here we go again. Guys, social workers should be driving around.
Starting point is 00:19:57 around with you because they're going to de-escalate the situation that you can't, right? They want nurses, social workers, the commissioner of the RCMP, Trudeau, they want that. Biden wants that. Aren't you tired of listening to this? They think they can de-escalate the situation better. Have you ever met a happy ER nurse? Have you ever seen them de-escalate a situation? I'm not beating up on nurses, okay?
Starting point is 00:20:31 Of course they're not happy at ER. The last thing they wanted to see is a cop at 3.30 in the morning. come to the hospital with bad guy. They want to have a good shift. They want to be off in like an hour or two. Okay? They don't want to have to start working on this shit rat. First thing they do is they're upset.
Starting point is 00:20:49 Bunch of window down. Excuse me. They look at the guy. I had them look at me and go, what did you do to him? What'd you do to them? We didn't do anything to him. Yeah, he's bleeding, but we didn't do anything. I've seen them.
Starting point is 00:21:06 Esculate the situation so many times. Not too many times. of de-escalation come to my mind. I had one nurse. Tell bad guy, if you keep on acting up, I'm going to put a catheter in your penis. Oh, fuck you.
Starting point is 00:21:22 Sure shit. Right up there. But that's what they want. They want social workers to go on these calls. My wife's the nurse. Registered psychiatric nurse. How many hours of de-escalation was she given one hour?
Starting point is 00:21:40 That's it. That's it. She's been a nurse for quite a while now. One hour? police deescalate all shift long. They're pros, they're good at it, they're the best at it. And they want social workers who aren't unarmed to deal with these people because they think, they think people suffering from mental health that attack police are actually victims.
Starting point is 00:22:08 They're not. People who suffer from mental health, they're just victims. That's why you shoot them in the leg. That's why you need a social worker to go to the call. Unarmed. Do you know how many nurses and social workers would be murdered? If you listen to this guy and Trudeau and the commissioner? That's your boss.
Starting point is 00:22:30 The commissioner's your boss. She's saying it. She wants social workers. There's not even at any point getting into it. It drives me crazy that they would rather a police officer go to a call not even go to it, get the social worker to go. That's what they would rather have. They would rather have anybody else,
Starting point is 00:22:53 rather anybody else than a police officer attend mental health calls. It's like I did that video where, you know, this shows a video where a guy is getting stabbed, stabbed in the neck by a bad guy, is stabbing a cop, takes his gun out. They'd rather me go, you know, call it my wife. They'd rather me call up my wife. Hey, honey, hey, what are you up to?
Starting point is 00:23:18 Can you, uh, we need your nursing skills to de-escalate a situation. My buddy's getting cut up by a bad guy. Can you come out here and, uh, de-escalate for us? Oh, he's got my partner's gun. Yeah. Can you come out? Can you please? We don't want to hurt him.
Starting point is 00:23:37 Oh, you're painting half the basement. Oh, okay. So, so you want me to finish it when I get home the other half? Yeah, no problem, no problem. Okay, we just thought, you know, he's suffering from mental health and we thought you could help. Trudeau says I can't kill him. Greg Fergus says we're always escalating the situation, amping the situation up. So I thought it'd give you a call.
Starting point is 00:24:03 Singh's going to blame us for police brutality, guaranteed. But that's fine, that's fine. Hey, Pierre, is that a white guy or a black guy? Oh, fuck. Hey, Tara, don't worry about it, okay? It's a white guy. Yeah, I didn't know. Okay, we're just going to shoot them a little bit.
Starting point is 00:24:26 That's what they would rather have. That was dumb. That was dumb. I'm getting tired of hearing about de-escalation, and I think police do it too much, because de-escalation can kill, and it is killing, and I think we should stop doing it so much. But why are we doing it?
Starting point is 00:24:40 People like this guy. People like Trudeau. It's become political. That's why. you got morons that know nothing about police use of force have never trained to be a cop telling you how to be a police officer and it's embarrassing to watch maybe i'm the only one embarrassed and social workers to go out with the cops on those calls those some of those 9-1-1 calls to de-escalate the circumstance to deal with talking them down but we can't cops are kind of like
Starting point is 00:25:16 school teachers. Cops aren't anything like school teachers. Okay. Oh my God. Could you imagine if cops were like school teachers? Timmy. Tammy, if you don't put that knife down, you're going to stand in the corner. This is, I, I, that sounds stupid, right? But he's talking stupid. Don't make me get my teacher stick, Timmy. It's ridiculous. Hey, Timmy, I've told you now seven times to put that knife down? You got a hearing problem? Something wrong with your hearing to me? Do you need a hearing check? You want me to call your parents? Ask if you need a hearing check to me? This is, yeah, I'm acting goofy, but this is goofy. This is possibly the most powerful man in the entire world in a month. But no cop wants him to be president. Not one. There isn't any. And I hate to bring
Starting point is 00:26:16 politics into this, but they're doing it. I can't help but comment on it. It's scary that he might be president. But if he is, let me tell you something. And I shouldn't say this, but I'm going to make a prediction, but I don't want you buying any stocks, okay? If they be, if he becomes president, Canadian marijuana stocks are going to go through the roof, I think, strongly. Affira. Aurora, Tilray, stocks like that are going to go through the roof. Why? Because they want to legalize marijuana in America. And once that happens, those stocks are going to go through the roof.
Starting point is 00:27:03 Just a point of interest. I don't know why I said that. Fruit flies still? If it was up to Biden, nurses would attend these calls. He said social workers, okay, unarmed social workers. So I'm going to show you a video. Let's pretend that a cop doesn't show up. A social worker shows up.
Starting point is 00:27:23 I'll set it up just slightly. They get a call to apprehend a guy that's suffering from mental health. It looks like a kid. And so the cop shows up. After this kid took off, the cop shows up. There was a bit of a police chase. Let's pretend my wife. It's my wife that has shown up.
Starting point is 00:27:47 First of all, this is not, I'm not showing this video to tell, but I can't help it sometimes, tell what the police did wrong. This is just an example of what I said. I'll try not to interrupt, but now I'm going to interrupt. I think I'm going to interrupt. Why are you running, dude? 23-1. Come on.
Starting point is 00:28:21 Are you scared? Look, running's not going to help. All right. One, I run a lot. Okay? On a side trial, I'm here with him. Hold on. Look, we're going to walk back.
Starting point is 00:28:49 Okay. I don't even need to say this because I know you're already thinking it, right? Look at his left hand. You can't see your hands? Show me your hands. Can I see it? That's why they say, show me your hands. Can I see your hands?
Starting point is 00:28:59 Too obvious to even. He's got something in his hands, obviously, right? I'm sorry, I have to. I have to interrupt. This is the problem I have with the de-escalation. I'm tired of it. You are giving bad guy time to react, and action always beats reaction.
Starting point is 00:29:17 This de-escalation bullshit is starting to rule policing. Stop wasting time. Stop giving the bad guy out. Okay. Now, the thing of it is, you're still not in trouble, but obviously I can't trust you not to run anywhere. Alright, so, come on, come on. I'm gonna put you in handguns for now. Okay. You stop, he's got a knife! Hey, stop! I got him at gunpoint. Draft a knife! Throwing the side! Bind your back! Put your hand behind your... Paint your hands behind you back now! Turn over!
Starting point is 00:30:46 Julia 33. Am I bleeding? Huh? Am I bleeding? Yeah, you got you okay? I don't know. What happened? Reacherin and stabbing. Do you let go.
Starting point is 00:31:19 Go, I go, his. Clean the medical, come in a medical. Julia 33. I got stabbed in the neck. Get you a mess rolling this way. Send to him. Here. I got a quick lot.
Starting point is 00:31:33 Here. Here. Here. It's not bleeding bad. Okay. All right. Hey. Pressure.
Starting point is 00:31:40 That's good. Stay with him. Stay with him. I'm good. My wife attends that call. She's dead meat. Dead meat. Dead meat.
Starting point is 00:31:57 She is. A nurse, a social worker attends that call. She's dead meat. The cop got stabbed in the neck. Did I say that? I forgot to say it. He got stabbed in the neck. And he's still stuck in the fight.
Starting point is 00:32:10 The stuff that you could critique is easy. And I'm not going to spend too much time on it. Should have seen his left hand, obviously. Should have seen his hand right away. But what I liked after he got stabbed in the neck, the cop grabbed onto his wrist. Grabbed onto bad guy's wrist. Bad guy runs, starts running away.
Starting point is 00:32:29 The cop takes out his gun, which is a good call. You take out your gun, right? He's got a deadly weapon. And he don't shoot for the legs, too, by the way. Okay? You shoot to stop the threat, and that's, you aim for center mass. But did you see this?
Starting point is 00:32:44 He takes out his gun, he has two hands on his gun. He, that caught me up in his mind. I'm about to, he was about to shoot that guy. He was going to shoot him. But something popped into his head that said, no, I'm giving him a chance. Whether it's right or wrong, doesn't matter. I'm going to transition to my taser.
Starting point is 00:33:07 Have you seen these tasers? tasers, RCMP? It holds a cartridge. They're incredible. It's called the X2. It holds a cartridge. And this is what happened. He engages the taser. The first one is a fail. He doesn't have to reload then. Like all our, I shouldn't, I don't want to get into too much detail. He doesn't have to reload because it's got a second. It's like a two and one. If the first one misses, all you have to do is pull the trigger again and a second one comes out and that's what nailed this kid which was a it was a good good taser shot i messaged my buddy and i said hey have you heard of the do you guys got these tasers that came out in 2012 right rcmp must have them right now this is what he
Starting point is 00:34:01 told me sorry but the fruit flies he told me they don't have it i don't know if it's true or not or maybe he just doesn't have them up north but uh that's pretty disgusting that's pretty disgusting that you don't have the best taser technology out there. Just wrong with the force sometimes. Anyways, easy stuff to pick apart, right? He puts the cop puts the gun, his own firearm on the ground. Then he thinks twice about it. He picks it back up.
Starting point is 00:34:29 Then he puts, and I like that he tasered the guy a second time. The kid was about to get up a second time and he let him have it again. But then he goes, he puts his taser on the ground. You have all the time in the world. that taser out, wait for backup. If he gets up again, you hit him again with a taser. He sucked up with it. But I'm playing armchair quarterback, okay? I've never been stabbed in the neck. Maybe I would be, maybe I would, I don't think I would, but maybe I would put my gun on the ground. I think God, he picked it up. The taser on the ground. Did you know, guys, that I know you know. When you're
Starting point is 00:35:19 done with a weapon, you put it back in one of your holsters. That's why the taser was on my left, gun on the right. I can never mix them up. If I'm done with my gun, and I want to transition to taser, I put the gun away, pull out the taser. If I use the taser and it works,
Starting point is 00:35:37 and I want to go in and handcuff bad guy, I don't place taser on the ground. Even though there's four prongs sticking out of it and it's nothing but wires, it still goes back into your holster with all those wires attached. And I said I wasn't going to spend too much time on that. My whole point was to show you
Starting point is 00:35:55 why social workers don't go to these calls. They want to paint him a victim because he's suffering for mental health. He's not. He's a bad guy who's facing attempted murder charges. Cops in good shape. He was released from the hospital. And bottom line, he got the job done. Easy for me to pick apart.
Starting point is 00:36:22 I could go on and on and on about it. Especially his partner. What the hell does that? took his partner so long. I'll shoot him in the legs. Why even go on to this call, man? It's not your job to go to a call. Hey, when there's a dangerous situation, we'll send in your wife, unarmed. She'll deal with it with her. De-escalation magic. That one hour she got. We need nurses. Nurses to go with cops, social workers, psychologists. Talk them down. No nurse would have done the job that that cop did when it came to de-escalation. Yeah, it didn't work, but sometimes it doesn't work.
Starting point is 00:37:04 Sometimes we use it too much. But nobody can beat a cop when it comes to de-escalate in a situation. Nobody. And I'm not putting down nurses. Some are good at de-escalation. Most are bad. Most are terrible. And they just are. Not just the way it is. There's no big course that they're taken. I just wanted to show you that clip about people saying stupid things like Biden saying shoot him in the leg and then you see that call and social workers should have went to it. I just people like that aren't allowed to say stupid. I can say stupid things. My kid, you know, you got AIDS in your ass. He's allowed to say stupid things. We're just regular, half normal people. But he's not allowed to say stupid things. If you're going to be president,
Starting point is 00:37:53 even though Trump says some stupid things. But my other point is I think police deescalate too much. de-escalation can kill. It can kill. You're giving bad guy too much time to react. Action beats reaction. Did you know? Is something like one second and a half a bad guy can cover the distance of 21 feet. So why? I'm starting to rethink the taser thing. Why was the taser an option for this cop? Why are we being trained that way? Because we are being trained that way. I like the taser. I think it's one of the best tools that police have. But maybe police should start going to calls.
Starting point is 00:38:46 They want you to. If you're taser trained and you don't use it, they're going to ask you, why didn't you use it? Well, you had a deadly weapon. Yeah, but you're taser trained. You're taser trained. If you have lethal overwatch, they want you to go to the call. One person has a taser. One person, why is that even, why should you go to a knife,
Starting point is 00:39:09 call. The taser, I'm starting to think this, and I don't know if I fully believe it yet, but I've been thinking a lot about it. Maybe the taser shouldn't even be a thought. Why should I assume, first of all, one in four, one and five tasers fail? I go to the call, I use my taser, it fails. Why should I assume my partner, candy, that she has a bullet in her chamber, that she has a racked around? Why should I assume that? Why should I assume that she's not going to have a stoppage? My taser fails. Bad guy keeps on coming. Her gun doesn't work. Put the fucking knife down. Drop the goddamn knife. Like why are we even thinking about the taser? And this cop just about died. Because I think
Starting point is 00:40:18 There's just too much de-escalation going on. I'm going to tell you a short story. It's going to be hard for me to remember. It's not going to be a popular story for a lot of police officers. Are going to disagree with me. And I'm going to try to remember while I talk about it, okay? I had to research. I needed a research for my taser.
Starting point is 00:40:37 Okay? Every year, I think it's every year. You got to research for your taser. If you want to carry your taser, you've got to take another course. You take a course. You got a lot of fake scenarios that they run you through, okay? The RCMP, I think, had designated scenarios that they wanted these trainers to run us through. So I'm getting run through a scenario.
Starting point is 00:40:59 We're in a school. We're in an abandoned school. It's empty. Bad guys in a classroom with desks all around like this, okay? Me and my partner, we got a, we got, there's a bad guy who's one of the trainers plays the bad guy. The other trainer watches what goes down. So I got a partner. I tell the partner, okay, I'm going to use my taser.
Starting point is 00:41:26 I'm going to pull out my taser. Okay, he has a knife. You pull out your gun, you be lethal overwatch. So we go to the door, and this is how fake these are, okay? We go to the door, and in the back of the classroom, in the corner, there's bad guy holding the knife, and I'm telling him to drop the knife a bunch of times. Drop the knife, drop the knife, okay? Drop the knife.
Starting point is 00:41:46 But the scenarios designed in real life. I would have stood at that door. I wouldn't care if eight hours passed. I'm behind cover. In real life, I wouldn't approach him until he dropped a knife. But the scenario is almost designed to make you fail. They want us to get closer to bad guy. I'm like, okay, I'll go along with a scenario.
Starting point is 00:42:10 And now we're so close to him. He's about a table, bad guy, a table, and me. First of all, why are we, but why do I have a taser? And he has a gun. why don't we both have guns out? Is that not another option that we should probably be. But RCMP is so focused. It was a de-escalate scenario.
Starting point is 00:42:35 They're trying to teach police to de-escalate more. That was the whole point of the scenario. And now I'm too close to him. I don't like how close I am. I'm giving him time to react. And I tell him, I literally tell him, because I just want the scenario to be over. Eventually he's going to drop the knife, right?
Starting point is 00:42:52 and I say drop the knife drop the knife drop the knife drop the knife drop the knife drop the knife drop the knife drop the knife drop the knife drop the knife he doesn't drop the knife so I let him have it with the taser I'm like I'm not fucking around now something wrong with you you know you're not going to drop the knife there's something wrong with you right obviously suffering from mental health why would I keep on giving him time to act and I know the taser doesn't kill it's a non-lethal weapon crazy boy is not a victim He's holding a knife. He's not listening to me.
Starting point is 00:43:24 Would you ever do that if a police officer said to you, drop a knife? Would you not drop it? If you held on to it, that's pretty abnormal, right? So the instructor was disgusted in what I did. Why'd you taser me? Why'd you taser me? What do you think? A lot of reasons.
Starting point is 00:43:44 You could easily throw the knife at me. Oh, come on. I'm way over here. You're over there. That's not going to do nothing throwing the knife. Oh, really? Do you know how many cops get killed by knives? I won't.
Starting point is 00:43:57 There's so many videos out there and I will never show one. They're disgusting. And they give me nightmares. Why are we teaching this bullshit so much? I don't get it. I don't, I honestly don't get it. It's, and who's it coming from? Other police officers?
Starting point is 00:44:17 Or maybe it's coming from a civilian board. Run by the commissioner. I don't know. But somebody who's not on the road, who hasn't done the road, in 20, 30, 40, 50 years, they're coming down with these decisions. We need to de-escalate more. Police need to, when I was a cop.
Starting point is 00:44:32 Things are different now, guys. Things are more dangerous out there than they were when you were a cop. I don't know who's making these decisions. And are they right? Are they right? Maybe some people should start getting fired. And I know a lot of people are going to disagree with me when it comes to that scenario. We should start thinking about going to calls without the taser.
Starting point is 00:44:55 Keep the taser holstered. Why didn't you have your taser out, Clint? Heard it was a real shit show. Well, it's pretty obvious. The guy had a knife. He had a deadly weapon. I don't know. Just starting to rethink it.
Starting point is 00:45:10 Why am I pulling out the taser? He's got an effing knife, guys. And if you're alone, you never bring out your taser, guys. You know that right. You never bring it out. Unless the guy is just combative. No weapons, combative, just you. Yeah, I don't see anything wrong with firing a shot
Starting point is 00:45:28 before you go hands-on with them or use your pepper spray or baton them. I need to take it. add when I did that scenario, the knife was always pointed to the ground. It was never in a threatening manner, okay? It was point to the ground. The guy was like, what knife? What knife? The knife that you're holding on to? Sorry, man. You had your chance. Now I'm going to hit you with a non-lethal weapon that's not going to kill you. And you're going to be apprehended under mental health act. I don't even, I see what the trainer was trying to say. But how many times do I have to tell a guy to drop a knife? And he doesn't do it. And now I'm too close.
Starting point is 00:46:06 I'm sorry you're dumb, bad guy. Don't blame me because you're stupid. Do you know what I mean? But no, we almost, they almost want you to sacrifice more as a cop. They want you to sacrifice more by de-escalating too much. And why am I talking like that? But they want you to sacrifice your safety. But in the real world, I would have never entered.
Starting point is 00:46:38 I would have never entered that room. Like a dumb dick. You know what I mean? That's what they wanted me to do. They wanted me to get close to him like a dumb dick. Where it's not even safe anymore. Now I'm putting into, now I feel like I'm put in the position where I got a tase.
Starting point is 00:46:55 Big deal, so he got a taser. And I just, I want to say one other thing. That trainer was a dumbass. Okay, the other trainer was a great guy. Still is a great guy. Still is a great guy. He's an awesome trainer. He does a great job.
Starting point is 00:47:05 But the other guy? You're dumbass. We are. Who here doesn't have a, uh, a mic on their, radio. I don't. You tell me why? Nah, I don't really want to. Okay. That's what I'm comfortable with. When I go to calls, I don't want this thing dangling right up here. Okay? I don't want it here.
Starting point is 00:47:26 It's a personal choice. I've always had it where I didn't have a mic attached to my radio. I feel more comfortable. And when I'm in a situation, I want to feel comfortable. When I'm in a dangerous situation, I want to feel comfortable. Stop asking stupid questions. I'm going off now. I'm just reliving my conversation with this dumb dick you don't just you don't just taser somebody all I was doing was holding a knife
Starting point is 00:47:55 yeah but it takes 1.5 seconds to cover 21 feet I didn't say that but you get what I'm saying you get my point I don't know the taser isn't going to kill him but his knife will kill me
Starting point is 00:48:07 his action will beat me I'm not John Wayne okay No copias Some trainers out there for the police forces Should refuse to do some of these scenarios I know they're doing a great job and all that
Starting point is 00:48:26 That was just one case One bad scenario I had And I don't know Just let it share that short story with you With that trainer that I'll never forget You know There's a desk there It's not gonna
Starting point is 00:48:38 You got time and distance And he's not gonna throw the knife at you And I'm like, what are you talking about You Cracker Jack? You mom monkey ass. Are you that? I know you're a trainer for scenarios, but you're not God. Next time you go to a scenario and you're supposed to pull your taser, who says you're supposed to pull your taser? Let's say you're at taser research. Next time, don't tell your partner,
Starting point is 00:49:05 or tell your partner to pull his firearm, right? You're supposed to pull your taser. Don't. Pull your gun. Pull your firearm. When you get a knife call, man with knife. The trainer, if they're doing their job, should like how you approach that scene. Anyways, guys, my tape's going to die. Thanks for watching. I need to calm down. I always say that, but I need to be more polite, you know? Absolutely, sir.
Starting point is 00:49:33 Can I get you anything else? Would you like a package of a smokefish? I need to, like, just calm down a bit. And my studio, right? I don't know, I got a bright light, bright light, bright light, bright light. I'm working on the lighting now. I'm trying to figure this out. I feel like I'm too lit, too bright.
Starting point is 00:49:56 But I'll review this and see how I look and, uh, subscribe. I got to go upstairs and check my ass for some AIDS, I guess. I don't know. Uh, nah, I shouldn't say that. That's not funny. Can't say AIDS, I don't think. Can't say that.
Starting point is 00:50:13 Subscribe to my channel, guys. Thanks, Wiggle Wayne. And, uh, call the heart. hotline number. I won't use it if you don't want me to use it. It's my voicemail. 604-330-2512. Bye-bye. Oh, one last thing. I think I'm recording. Thursday night, I don't even know what it is today, but Thursday night there's going to be a presidential debate. This is not even interesting, but this is what I do. This is my life. Okay. This is what I'm interested in. They've decided that they're going to cut the mics. So when Biden speaks, Trump can't interrupt
Starting point is 00:50:55 them. And they, everybody, says that this is going to go against. This is going to go. Trump's going to have a tough time with this that he can't interrupt Biden. But I think, why am I passionate about this? But I think that
Starting point is 00:51:11 it's going to give Trump a better chance to win this debate compared to the last one. Because that's what you want. You want Biden just to talk. And then he gets all mixed up and messed up in the head. and Trump kept on interrupting him, giving Biden an out.
Starting point is 00:51:32 Every time, hey, when you argue with somebody or when you're in a debate with somebody, just say the question and let them answer it. If you say anything else after that, it gives them an out. I can't think of a good example right now, but ask the direct question and just sit back and make sure they answer it. That was dumb. Anyways, see you.
