Hey guys. Clint here again. Former cop talking about cop stuff. That's what I do now.
Right off the bat, I'm going to tell you, I made a mistake. And I'm sorry. I was wrong about something.
In an earlier clip, earlier video, back when I had long hair, I was talking about systemic racism.
And I was wrong. Take a look.
Tell you one thing right now, if there's no systemic racism in the RCMP, there isn't, it doesn't exist.
It's just a word that they made up, that they like to, that they like to, it makes them look important if they say it.
The commissioner, no, the commissioner's lying.
She knows.
There's no systemic racism in the RCMP.
She knows.
She knows that's not true.
Have you ever asked them?
I probably said this before, but have you ever asked them?
Give me an example of systemic racism.
Can you give me an example?
They can't give you an example.
They can't give me an example.
Because it doesn't exist.
Yeah, I blew it.
I blew it because after I shot that video, she gave an example.
I said she couldn't.
You asked those people to give examples?
They can't give examples of systemic racism.
I said it doesn't exist.
But she did.
She gave an example at a public safety and national security committee.
Shortly after I shot that video,
this is how she defined systemic racism when she was asked the question.
She was asked the question, can you please define it?
This is what she said.
that there is systemic racism today in the RCMP.
Thank you for your question.
And first, thank you for your appreciation for our members
because it means a lot.
They're working hard each day in the communities that they serve in.
Yes, there's absolutely systemic racism.
I can give you a couple of examples that we've found over the years.
For example, we have a physical abilities, a requirement evaluation.
It's an obstacle course.
In there, there's a six-foot mat that you have to do a broad jump.
And when we put the lens on it and reviewed that physical requirements test,
evidence told us that the average person can broad jump their height.
So, of course, how many six-foot people do we hire?
And there are people in all different cultures that may not be six feet,
including there's not a lot of women that are six feet tall.
that would not be able to get through that type of test.
See?
You see that example?
Absolutely, she said there's systemic racism.
I'm going to give you a couple of examples.
Wasn't that a great example?
There's a mat that exists in the pair test.
It's called the pair test.
And it's too long.
Because not everybody is six feet.
You have to be six feet to jump over this thing.
even though my 10-year-old can easily jump over it.
Maybe she just can't jump over it.
How about that?
When's the last time she did the pair test?
I was being an ass at the start of the video.
She obviously didn't give an example of systemic racism.
I'm actually going to stick up for her here, believe it or not.
She can't give an example of systemic racism piece.
There isn't systemic racism.
She can't make it up.
They can't give an example of systemic racism.
Look, she just proved my point.
You can't do it.
What the hell does a pair test have to do a systemic racism?
Do you guys even know, for those who don't even know what the pair test is,
there's certain qualifications you've got to do to go along into the application process to be an RCMP member.
One is you need a criminal record check.
Okay, tick.
Will you ever carry a gun?
Yeah, tick. Are you Canadian citizen? Yeah. Do you have a valid driver's license? Yes.
Then you have to complete the pair test. Forget what it stands for. Physical abilities.
It's an obstacle course. Okay, that's what she said. That's what it is. It's an obstacle course.
But she's talking about, she's comparing it to, oh my God. Okay. I don't even know what to say to this.
She says you have to do a broad jump over a six-foot mat.
There's no broad-jumping in the parat test.
You don't broad-jump.
You don't put your legs together and then jump.
It's a long jump.
You run fast and you jump over this mat.
And there's no six-foot mat either.
It's five feet.
But to be fair to her, maybe that's what she was going to get into
because she was interrupted by one of the cabinet members or committee members.
What do you call them?
I don't know.
And she was interrupted.
Maybe that's what she was going to say.
She's talking about, yeah, they did it.
They did it study it.
There hasn't been a six-foot mat in the parat test since 1995.
How many years ago is that?
I took the parat test.
I don't know, year 2000, five-foot mat.
1999, five-foot mat.
Maybe that's when it was.
But she's saying because the mat was so long that females couldn't jump over it.
Therefore, that's racist.
It's racist that they couldn't jump over that mat.
Don't you love how she started it?
There absolutely is systemic racism in the RCMP.
Didn't Trudeau say that a few weeks ago?
His exact words, absolutely is systemic racism.
She's such a good employee, isn't she?
I've got a couple examples.
I'm going to give you right?
now talks about an obstacle course broad jumping maybe i'm wrong but there's never broad jumping oh the poor lady
the poor lady i got more to show you okay you got to listen to this this i just love this i love sitting
here and watching her speak i just love it i love it i mean it makes my day when she talks honestly
watch this this is let's you got to hear what gale has to say okay gail's coming up
But she can't, she doesn't know what the hell to say.
She's trying to give an example of systemic racism.
You can't give examples of something that doesn't exist in the RCMP.
Let's see what Gail says.
She's got a great example of systemic racism, right?
Right?
Right?
Here we go.
The systemic discrimination, but I'm trying to think of systemic racism.
In our, we have some questions, for example, in our aptitude test.
And you know what, I might refer Gail because that is Gail's specialty in the HR world because a lot of it has been brought out in our recruiting process.
So I'll ask Gail if she can.
You know, we got some questions in our aptitude test.
You know, where's Gail?
Where's Gail?
Gail? Gail, can you help me out here? I really, I wish, I really wanted to hear that part.
She was going to say that there's questions in this application test that everybody has to take to become an RCP member.
And there were some racist questions in there. Don't you want to hear what she was going to say about that?
But if she changed her mind, because she knew that if she, whatever she was going to say, they were going to say, no, that's not systemic racism. Give me something else.
Okay. Here's Gail. Okay. Gail's going to be.
sailor out with some strong points about systemic racism.
Let's listen to this. Come on, Gail.
It's like to say when we talk about systemic racism, we understand it to mean because of systems
that exist in organizations over a long time, they disadvantaged certain racialized
indigenous groups. So institutional racism that differentially impacts people.
And so we do have some examples. I will say that.
when we were looking at our recruitment process and what was required for our folks when we tried to recruit people from the north,
because of remote locations, the need for driver's license, etc., they had a difficult time actually coming to write the aptitude test,
actually having driver's license, and actually coming and leaving to come and sit for the processes we had.
that this was dis-advantaging that group.
And so we've changed the way we do that process now
so that we make it easier so that we go there
and we do certain of the activities there
so that we can make sure that they continue
to have the opportunity to apply
to become police officers.
So that's an example.
Thank you, Ms. Johnson.
Yeah, you damn right.
Is that ever an example?
That is a great example.
of systemic racism, isn't it?
Very good, Gail.
Good job, Gail.
She worked really hard on that, you could tell.
Let's just agree. Let's just say that, yeah, that's systemic racism.
That's not what the question they said, give me a, give us an example today of systemic racism, not what you did and corrected.
They're not asking for corrected.
Oh my God.
What do you say about this?
What do you, what do you say about this?
a guy somebody in the north doesn't have a driver's license so they can't come and drive to write the RCMP test
and because they didn't have a driver's license that's racist we're racist to assume that they can
the RCMP is racist to assume that they have a driver's license so they can write the RCMP test
First of all, you need a driver's license to be a cop.
I always thought you needed a driver's license to write the test.
It's right there.
Do you have a driver's license?
Is that valid?
Is it unrestricted?
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's just so silly.
And I don't blame them.
The commissioner's caught herself.
She says there's absolutely systemic racism.
I don't, I can't really give you an example, but.
She's doing what her boss wants her to do.
You can't make shit up.
It's impossible to make shit up.
Gale.
Gail's definition of systemic racism.
Are you ready? Are you listening?
Okay, here it is.
Over time, they disadvantage certain racialized indigenous groups.
I have a tough time with that word, so I apologize for that.
So systemic racism is has to do with Aboriginal people.
Okay, help with that one.
That's what it is.
It has to do with Aboriginal people.
And over time, they're disadvantaged.
Like they don't have a driver's license.
So many disadvantages, right?
So many disadvantages.
I don't understand their point.
I honestly don't understand their point
They're saying
People
Are at a disadvantage
And we're making it difficult for them
So we're being racist
And it's only
First Nations people
Oh
I could tell you when I was trying to become a cop
Want to hear about it
I was trying to become a cop
You want to hear about disadvantages
I write the test
I fail it because I'm a dumb dumb
I write it again
I don't even know.
I can't remember if I passed it.
I write it.
I do all right.
I pass it.
I write it.
I get a good score.
So I call up recruiting.
And I said, hey, I got this score.
And they said, no, no, no, no, no, no.
You need Clint.
And I'm not making this shit up.
Clint.
You need.
Last year, we were only accepting people.
White males.
We were only accepting white males that had a score of 102 or 103.
I got this recorded, by the way, so it's a fact.
It's what recruiting told me.
And I'm like, holy shit.
So I write it again.
And I get 110.
No, no, sorry.
I get 102.
No, 103.
It was between one.
It was either 102 and 103.
I called them back and I said, I'm so excited.
This is what I got.
I'm sorry, Clint, but for white, we're only taking 65 white males this year and you need a score of 110.
Who's added?
What?
Who's at a disadvantage?
Minorities?
Women?
They just needed to pass the test.
They needed like a 60.
Which group was disavantaged?
My dad actually joked.
He goes, man, um, dress up as a girl and apply or tell them.
Hey, tell them that you're, uh, you're gay.
Because at that time, there were, that was a big push.
Gays were almost minorities along the same lines as,
Anyways, it was tough.
It was tough being a white guy.
Stop being a white man and trying to become a cop.
I wish I wasn't a white man.
I actually thought, I wish I wasn't a white man.
I know I rambled off there.
Poor Gail.
Oh my God, these people.
I don't know.
I don't know.
How easy do you want to make it to become an RCMP member?
How easy?
Where do you...
Where do you...
Where do you draw?
draw the line at?
If you want to become a Vancouver police,
constable, a police
officer, you have to do what's called the Polepat.
Maybe I'm wrong, but when I think they
do the Polepat. RCP
do the pair. They do the
Polat. Delta Police do the Polepat.
The Polepat has a six-foot mat.
The commissioner just said
that if you have a six-foot mat, that's
racist.
She's calling all other police
forces basically racist.
because they got a six-foot
do you see how ridiculous this gets?
You see how goofy this is?
What kind of police officers do you want?
There's not a six-foot mat, there's a five-foot mat.
My 10-year-old can easily jump over it.
It's really easy.
It's really simple, especially when you run at it.
What does she want to hire people that are four-foot-five?
Is that what we start doing?
We open it at no height like your four-foot-five?
Maybe there's not even a height.
restriction. You know, you need to have a high school diploma. Do you just get rid of that? No, you don't.
Now, you don't, that's racist if we say that you need one of those. What, you're blind?
Of course you could become a cop. That would be racist if I told you that you couldn't become a,
a blind person couldn't become a cop. 18. You have to be 18 to apply? Well, isn't that racist, a 17-year-olds?
Let's just throw all of the physical standards out the window.
What do you?
Let's just say, let's just have one checkbox.
Heartbeat.
You got a heartbeat?
You're hired.
You got a heartbeat.
The commissioner didn't like the parat test,
but she couldn't jump over that mat.
We're supposed to do the parat test every three years.
When's the last time she did it?
When should do the parat test?
When's the last time?
She's our leader.
Right?
So she does the parat test, right?
Right.
What kind of police officers do you want?
What kind do you want?
I'm sorry that you don't have a driver's license.
Go get one.
Figure it out.
Because you don't have one doesn't make RCMP racist.
It used to be difficult to become a cop.
I was in recruiting for a little while.
Yeah, I did recruiting.
We had a guy.
Show up for his interview.
By the way, I showed up in my interview in a suit.
Okay, and I even ironed it.
Even had an umbrella piece of raining out.
We had a guy show up in a jean jacket and jeans.
They hired them.
I didn't, but recruiting did.
That's how desperate they are.
I think they were even picking them up and bringing them to the interview.
Where do you draw the line?
Well, yeah, you're having difficulty with that six foot mat.
Well, make it five feet.
Why does she bring up that mat?
And why does she say six feet?
Maybe she just didn't finish her sentence.
There's no broad jump.
It's a five foot mat.
It's kind of funny.
This is kind of funny.
This is kind of funny.
I'm enjoying it.
I can't wait for more examples.
We're going to get more examples.
There's more examples coming for sure.
More online courses for RC&P members.
Yeah.
About what?
I don't know.
Systemic racism.
They're going to talk about 1940s, the 50s, John A. McDonald backed in 18, I don't know what.
Give me an example of systemic racism today.
Can you do it?
No, you can't.
You can't do it.
Because it doesn't exist.
Okay?
It doesn't exist.
