Let's going to stop that now?
Clinton Jaws, guys.
Happy Canada Day.
I'm wearing the orange shirt.
I'm going to do RCMP Depot tips.
I'm not going to be wearing this today.
Short story.
I'll keep it short, okay?
I got a short story before I get into the RCMP tips.
I'm trying to prepare, right?
And I need this.
Do you guys know what this thing is?
You stick an SD card.
So after I'm done recording, I stick the SD card into this.
and then I stick this into my computer.
And this black arm is not working off for me.
Okay?
Well, guess what?
The cord is missing from it.
I need the cord, the USB cord, to attach to my computer.
So I could download whatever is on it, off of it.
So I have more space on my video camera.
I tear the house apart looking for this.
Well, the lake place.
and I can't find it.
I'm ready to hop in my Jeep, the wife's Jeep, and go buy another one.
And I thought, you know what?
I didn't do this.
Maybe my son did.
So I go to my son, Coulson.
And I said, hey, man, this used to have a cord on it.
Do you happen to know what happened to the cord, did you?
He goes, no, dad.
I haven't even touched that, okay?
And I'm like, okay, yeah, no problem.
So I start walking out of his bedroom
And he goes, hold on a second, can you come back here?
And I'm like, yeah, and he takes it.
And he goes, there's your card, dad.
That is how unintelligent.
I am when it comes to this stuff.
I had no idea.
And I, next week, I'm going to start
live streaming, questions and answers.
I started up this new thing.
You guys can join.
If you feel like joining, join.
You go to the front of my
YouTube and you will see a join button. There's two levels. Level one, level two. Level two, right now
on level two, I did Mounties on fire. Mounties under fire. It's a CBC documentary that I got a
hold of. I couldn't find it anywhere online. It was a great documentary that I watched in 2008.
And I showed it. I critiqued it. I gave my input. It's on level two of the join.
button it's interesting especially for cops and people who want to become
cops because they take the video cameras right into depot they interview
cadets at depo you see a lot of depot you see a lot of what they do and a lot of
the pair tests actually anyway so you're interested join the join button
I just created it I haven't really advertised it when I created it there was a
small splash of people that joined it.
And it kind of scared me,
as I said to the wife, I'm like,
even though she's getting paid for it,
I said,
it feels like I have a job now.
The stress of the job came back to me.
That's how it feels.
YouTube, my YouTube channel is one thing.
The join button is something different.
It's something I have to do.
I don't want my parents joining.
If you're watching,
please don't join. I want to add stuff to it that I really can't add to my YouTube channel.
And I can't believe I'm going to add this. And I probably shouldn't, but a year ago,
I might want to add it to this part out because I don't know for sure. Okay, I'm going to add it.
I'm going to add it a year ago before the podcast. Before I did the podcast, I used to come into this room.
Sometimes I would interview friends. And one night, my girl, my, my, my,
white girlfriend. My wife had a couple of her girlfriends over and we did an interview. I can't show any of that.
But after they left, I just sat here alone and I talked about life and why I was doing the podcast.
And I go a little goofy. Because I swear to God, I think somebody slipped me some edibles.
Okay. It's possible that I had edibles in my system. And I said I was going to put material on that nobody has ever seen for members.
membership and that's what I'm going to do. If I put it on my normal channel, I'm going to lose
viewers, I'm going to lose subscribers. And by the way, please subscribe. That's the only thing that
makes me feel good. I don't care what you do. Subscribe. Just subscribe to my channel. It's all I
ask for. And I know it's not easy to subscribe. I watch a lot of YouTube channels and I never
hit the subscribe button. But I want you to hit my subscribe button. It's the only number I can
Is that all I wanted to talk about? That was long, yeah. Okay. Talked about the shirt.
And I'm tired of editing things out. I don't want to do that anymore. I just want to sit here,
talk, make it easy. I talked about this. Now I guess I'm going to talk about RCEM.
Oh no, I want to talk about this. Okay. I want to talk about the last video I made it. I think
it's called the RCMP race. I reviewed it and it sounds like it sounded like I was bragging and I don't
like to brag. I don't want to come across that way, but it's, I want to tell you guys about
Depot. I want to, I don't want to focus on the good things that I did at Depot. Because it looks
like I'm bragging. And I told you that I did 88 pushups and bench 220 and did 30 pull-ups.
And it sound like I'm bragging. There was two things that I did bad at Depot, only two. I,
okay. I excelled at Depot. Okay. Now I'm bragging.
I got to tell you the truth.
But there are some things that I didn't do, two things I didn't do well at,
that I'm eventually going to tell you throughout doing these RCMP tips.
I just don't want you thinking that I'm sitting here bragging.
220, who cares, be you bench 220, whoopi, ding dong, a lot of people can bench 220.
I got to tell you about the 88 push-ups.
I want to tell you before I get into the RCMP depot tip, okay?
I did 88 push-ups.
Halfway through, we had benchmark.
we had to do, they judged us on pushups, pullups, and how much you could bench.
And you can get superiors in those things.
People always ask me, do I have to be physically fit to go to depot?
How hard do I have to train?
And I don't think you have to train that hard.
You just have to have a little bit of stamina and be able to do the pair test.
Okay?
Everything else will work out.
I trained hard before I went to depot.
and the point of what I was trying to make last video was I actually became weaker at depot.
I bench 220 halfway through depot.
But at the end of depot, I couldn't bench 220.
Halfway through depot, I was at the gym.
LeBlanc was there.
Pitman was there.
And they're working out together.
I never worked out with anybody in my entire life.
They're doing the bench press.
They said, Clint, do you want to do the bench press?
And I'm like, that's weird.
I've never had a spotter for the bench press.
And so I keep on moving up.
and I go over 200 pounds and I'm like holy cow I was proud of myself I could bench over 200 pounds
I didn't even wait close to 200 pounds and then I threw on 220 and I bench 220 and that was well
that was a superior for my for my weight the weight I was at I'm rambling anyways halfway through
They test us on these benchmarks.
Pull-ups I could do forever, guys.
It was way over 30.
I can't remember how much.
If you got 18, pull-ups, that was a superior.
That was easy for me.
I forget what push-ups was.
I think it was around 50 to get your superior.
And so there we are.
And I'm doing my push-ups halfway through.
And I kind of stop at 66.
I kind of stop at 66.
I don't really give it my all.
It's the most in the troop.
It made me happy.
It just made me feel good inside that I could do more than everybody else.
But I noticed, okay?
There was two facilitators at gym class.
What is it called?
PDT.
It's not PDT.
Damn it.
I can't remember the name of it.
P something.
And the two people that ran it, there was a girl her name was Leslie.
Okay?
And she was like a Nancy.
Well, she was like a Leslie.
And there was another guy, good shit.
I'm trying not to swear.
I didn't say the T, okay?
He was a good guy.
I had no problems with him.
I can't remember his name.
Maybe it was Darren.
Okay, we'll call him Darren.
But Darren and Leslie, they ran the gym part of getting in shape and stuff like that.
And after the 66 push-ups, like, she was breathing down my neck.
It was kind of bugging me. Only me. Okay. There's 32 people in our troop and she's all over me.
Because she sees what I'm doing with the push-ups. Year-end push-up time. I'm going to give her.
I'm going to do as many as I can. I don't care how much this exhausts me. And so we start doing the
push-ups. The trick to push-ups. Telling you right now as fast as you can. That's how you do a push-up.
if you can do if you can if you do pushups as fast as you can you will be able to do more of them and i'm
talking like almost that fast all the way down and all the way up full extension full extension
where you can almost feel a charlie horse between your back between your shoulder blades all the way down
all the way up.
I start doing the push-ups and Leslie's there.
She's not focused on anybody else.
Just me.
Weatherby has his hand on the floor.
I have to touch his hand each time with my chin.
And she starts yelling.
And I know I'm touching every single time.
You're not going all the way down.
You're not going all the way down.
Well, I'm doing these pushers while I have started,
while everybody has started this.
and Dave goes, yeah, he is.
And I'm talking to her.
I'm like, I'm doing my push.
I'm like, yeah, yeah.
Then she goes, you're not going all the way up.
You're not going all the way up.
And I'm going all, I'm almost jumping off the floor.
I'm going on.
But she can't see it because I'm going so fast.
She couldn't see that I was going all the way down.
She couldn't tell if I was going all the way up.
And I'm telling you I was.
And it really pissed me off because I stopped doing it.
doing. I stopped doing after around 15. I just stopped because I realized that we need to have a
conversation. So we start talking and I explained to her that I'm going all the way down. She goes,
no, you're not. And I explained to her, I'm going all the way up. She says, no, you're not.
I was forced to slow down my push-ups because she couldn't figure it out. So I end up doing 88
with her breathing down my back
after I'd already done 15
and
I don't know
I don't know why I told that story
I guess I want to tell
I want to tell my story
it pissed me off
it bugged me so after
the push-ups
no after
yeah after the push-ups
we went over to do the pull-ups
and the Darren's there
and he's like okay
like Darren's thinking I'm gonna break a record
and I do 18 because that's all I need to do.
And I stop at 18 and he goes,
he didn't understand why I stopped.
Well, I stopped because I was pouting.
I'm like, piss on this.
Why am I giving it my all?
When I don't even know what that is.
I got the fruitcake Leslie,
breathing down my neck, driving me insane.
Now, I might have this wrong, but this is my memory of it.
My arms are done at this point.
Completely rubber.
I think we go back into the gym to see how much everybody can bench press.
So I put the 220 on it.
Pitman and LeBlanc, they know I'm going to do it.
I lift it up off the bar.
I pull it down to my tits and I can't get it off my tits.
I can't move it.
My arms are done.
That's how we remember.
So did I bench 220?
Not when it counted.
I didn't bench 220 when it counted.
And this is the most boring.
story in history. Just, I just, whatever happened to Leslie. I bet she should, I bet she
she became a cop. There's something else that happened at the, I've been talking way too long here,
but there's something else that happened at the parat test. I did the parat test about four times
before doing it finally. Okay. I want to beat three minutes. That's another superior. When I went to
my first pair test in an animal, the guy said to me, when you do the push, make sure your feet
touch the wall during that arc, okay?
Make sure they touch it.
I'm not pushing off the wall.
I've never done that.
I just making sure that my foot is touching the wall.
I do that the first time.
I do the paratest.
I do that the second time I do the parat test.
I do that the third time I do the parat test.
I do it the fourth time.
There's the girl facilitator.
She's yelling at me to stop pushing off the wall.
And I'm like, I'm not pushing off the wall.
wall, but I know, in my head, I know I have to have my foot touch the wall on the arcs to prove
that I'm going all the way around. So after I'm done, she penalizes me and tells me to do one more
arc. Okay? I've already done the six, but because she penalized me because I put, she said I was
pushing off the wall. And I did, I got 305 and that pissed me off. A lot of things pissed me off, I guess.
RCMP tip
RCMP tip let's get into this what the hell isn't
don't cheat okay
don't cheat don't cheat
in depot I know what you're thinking
obviously
it's not obvious
and I don't mean like
you got a girlfriend a boyfriend
you go to depot and you start screwing around with other people
that's going to happen no matter
well for some it's going to happen
no matter what
there's a lot of
there's a lot of sexual activity going on at depot
whether you're married or
not. I probably shouldn't have said that, but the girls, sometimes I think the girls were worse than the
men. I remember saying to one of my troopmates be because his girlfriend was going to Depo after him.
And I'm like, dude. And he goes, I know. I know. So if you have a wife or a girlfriend that's at
Depot, there might be a reason why she doesn't want you to come visit her. I shouldn't have said that.
don't cheat what I mean is I kind of I feel like I came I came dangerously close to cheating some of my
exercises back when I had to go to depot we had to do three workouts a week for 30 minutes
and I didn't want to do it I just wanted to I kind of go to the gym I just mess around for 30 minutes
I'd wait for that 30 minutes to be up.
I stopped running because it was hard on my body.
I didn't like it.
I didn't like how my knees felt when I was running.
And I couldn't keep weight on and running was taking weight off.
I was drinking like protein powders and energy drinks to keep the weight on.
But I think back and, you know, I don't know if I did this, but it's possible that maybe I cut off my workout
at 29 minutes or 28 minutes.
Maybe I did 25 minutes in the pool.
When I used to just kind of wait around,
I used to just like waddle in the pool after 11 o'clock at night.
And that was just me kind of relaxing for the day.
And I called that a workout because you were allowed to use swimming as a workout.
But I would just kind of like dangle and bob up and down in the water.
And I think back at that and I shouldn't have done that.
This is why.
Pretend there's a facilitator everywhere because they are everywhere.
You can't even tell sometimes.
Sometimes you think a facilitator is a cadet and they're not.
When I was at depot, people were getting kicked out of depot for lying about their workouts.
I had a guy contact me, one of the subscribers.
And there was a facilitator timing his work.
workouts in the gym.
Done.
He went home.
He recorded 30 minutes, but it wasn't 30 minutes.
Something like that.
The story is something like that.
Always pretend that you're being watched, well,
PGR being watched.
Never lie.
Never cheat.
Do the full 30 minutes.
Do 32 minutes.
I think that's it.
I know I'm going to get off here and go,
oh, you forgot to talk about that.
I'm going to do more of these.
I know.
It just...
I got to do more.
And I'm going to be doing a live stream.
I'm going to be doing a live stream next week for members only.
So join.
And we're going to talk about everything.
We're going to talk about my life.
We're going to talk about your life.
I'm going to answer any question you want answered.
We'll talk about the RCMP process.
We'll talk about my RCMP process.
We'll talk about the interview.
My interview.
Maybe you'll get something out of it.
Maybe we won't even talk about place.
We'll talk about something else.
It's going to be awkward for me, but it might be neat.
Who knows?
Might be only a couple people that I'm interacting with.
I don't care.
And I'm going to now upload the ridiculous night that I had in my room by myself.
Really, really happy about life.
And mom and dad, don't become a member.
Don't join this.
membership place. Okay, that's it. Thanks for watching. Bye-bye.
