Clinton Jaws.
I'm back at the lake because it's hotter than balls outside.
Sprout Lake.
The best lake in the entire world.
Sorry about the set.
I just kind of threw it together for now.
I just wanted to say a couple of things.
Jump on here.
Say a couple of things.
I don't even think I'm going to edit it this video
because they're waiting for me down at the beach to go swimming.
And I want to talk about the RCMP rays.
I don't really know what I'm going to even say about it.
But yeah, it is hotter than balls out there.
It's supposed to be 43 on Monday.
That's hot.
Having a Caesar.
Sorry about the ice.
And I know you can hear my entire family right now.
Anyways.
Okay, I got something exciting and I want to share with you guys.
It's very exciting.
On YouTube, did you know some channels have a join button on YouTube?
This is kind of a new thing.
If you have so many followers or so many hours, not everybody gets a join button.
And I got an email the other day.
YouTube gave me a join button.
I'm like, what the hell is this join button?
So I went to a couple of other YouTube channels.
And like, for example, if you go to Tom Green's YouTube channel,
Tom Green, you'll see his join button.
Click on Tom Green.
hit join and he gives certain perks to people if they join that you you become a member and with tom
green he gives a member's only live stream and i thought that's a great idea i want to do the
live stream so you go to mine i kind of set it up it's ready to go you hit join and you got two options
you got the $3.99 a month or $6.99 a month.
Click on this and I kind of describe what I'm going to do.
I'm going to do a members-only live stream.
I'm going to do this a bunch of times throughout the month.
I'm going to be stumbling.
I'm kind of nervous about it because you're going to be asking me questions.
You could ask me any question you want.
And, you know, sometimes I come on here and I don't really want to say things.
something holds me back maybe it's my parents watching and and if you're listening to this i know you are
mom and dad you don't have to join this okay you can stay away from it i want to be me and yeah ask me
any question any question you can ask me a question about the rcmp process depo
anything i'll tell you about my steps that i had to take
to become a cop.
You can talk to me about
about your wife, your life,
anything you want to talk about,
we're going to talk about.
Policing, anything.
Stories about policing.
Shit like that.
Now on this one, the $699,
right after I get off a here,
I've already made a video.
It's an hour long,
and it's about the Mounties on Fire documentary
that you can't really get anywhere.
I had to contact the author who made that video, who sent me a copy.
And while I'm uploading it, you can watch the entire thing.
I do commentary on it.
It's over an hour.
It's one of the best documentaries I have ever seen.
And it's interesting because they really focus on depot.
They bring the cameras into depot.
You get to learn things that you didn't know about before.
I don't fully agree with this documentary.
but they talk about issues
really what I believe
killed the RCMP well
slowly killed the RCMP in 2007
they really dig into it
and it's interesting as shit
anyways I dissect the hell out of it
we watch the entire thing
and if you become a member
you can watch it too
what are the other perks
well just go to the join button
you'll see what I'm talking about
man I stumbled through that
RCMP raise I don't even know what I'm going to say about the RCMP race
I think I made a video close to a year ago
I was pretty negative it was a terrible video
and what
okay the MPF doesn't want me talking
about their news
fair enough so this is just a rumor
okay I heard a rumor
that RC&P members are going to get a raise
some are saying 26 percent some are
saying 20%, somebody saying 23.78% or something like that.
It's in its 20s.
And at first I thought, holy shit.
Because a year ago, I figured 25% would be fair.
And I really didn't believe that it would be as good as it looks like it's going to be.
But then I thought, should it be more?
Well, of course it should be more.
We all know that, but talk about a step in the right direction.
You know what I mean?
You can work on it now.
And what made me happy wasn't for me.
I mean, I'm going to get some retro, 2017, 18, 19.
Some people are going to get huge amounts of retro.
But that's not what made me happy.
What made me happy was that, man,
you guys have been working for nothing.
You almost needed two jobs to stay alive in the lower mainland.
Talk about scraping by.
But what made me happy was the raise gives you respect.
I felt good for you guys.
You must feel good.
You must feel good about the news.
Getting paid peanuts is disrespectful.
Now you can feel respected.
Am I saying that right?
That's what the raise means.
You can feel good about yourself.
And think about how many more people are going to apply to become a cop now.
Because you're up there.
You're up there and the union's going to make you stay up there.
So, yeah, that was good news.
And the retro trek, guys, who am I to give you advice?
But if I were you, I'd invest that money because some of those checks are going to be pretty large.
We live out the lake, okay?
It's a little shit place.
It's Sprout Lake Mobile Home Park, okay?
That's where we don't live here.
We come here in the summertime.
Whenever it's hot, we come here.
And what it does is, yeah, it's a mobile home.
Beautiful mobile home on a beautiful piece of property.
But it's still a mobile home, okay?
It's a trailer park.
But what's great about it is we hop in our golf cart and we go down to the private.
at beach where my boat is. My boat is docked there. You can swim at this beach. You don't have to
launch your boat every day. Kids love it. We love it. My point is that we invested that money.
We invested that money and I hope you guys invest your money. Okay. So stupid. Back in 2010,
I don't even know the year, but we got paid out severance. We got a lot of severance pay.
and we had a lady from the bank show up at our briefing and we're like what do we do with the money
and she's saying invest the money invest the money and i went up to her and i said hey facebook stock just
came out what do you think and when facebook stock came out it slowly just kept on sliding down and down and down and
and when i asked her it was it was going down it was hit like something the 17 dollars i think was
the low point of Facebook stock.
So I asked her about it, and I said,
maybe it's a good time to buy.
What do you think? Stay away from Facebook's
stock. Don't touch it.
Anyways, I took my
severance pay, put it in Facebook,
bought around $23.
And
why does it sound like I'm bragging?
Invest the money. Good news.
You get in a raise, it looks like.
That's the rumor.
It's over 20%.
not bad we all know you deserve more
and I guess that's about it
is there anything else I want to say about the race
it's a rumor remember okay I'm saying it's a rumor
let's take a couple calls
my name's Ryan
Ryan nice to meet you man
thanks for calling the hotline number 604 3302512
I love it when you guys call
mentioned that I'm a huge fan of your podcast
and it's brought great insight into
the RCP application process
and all that.
Right on.
Just a quick question.
I kind of thought about this the other day
as I was kind of planning on, you know,
making myself into a better candidate
just in terms of physical fitness and whatnot.
But I guess, yeah.
You know what?
I worked my ass off to be physical.
No, I worked my ass off to get fit
before I went to a depot.
It's probably a good thing because I got less fit at Depot.
I got weaker at Depot because I was so busy.
I'd been.
bench, 250, I weighed nothing, maybe 110 pounds, I weighed nothing.
I'm not going to tell you about this. Keep on going, Ryan.
I heard that there is a swimming pool at, but I heard that there is a swimming pool at
when I went to depot, there was a swimming pool. And every night, well, I could use it as a
competency. A competency? Is that the right word? I could use it. If I go swimming for half an hour,
I can use that as part of the physical fitness that I needed to do at depot.
I had to do something, physical fitness, three times a week, I believe it was, for half an hour.
I'd run, I'd weight lift, but most of the time I spent it in the pool at 11 o'clock at night.
I would go down to the pool.
Nobody's in the pool at 11.
Every single time I went down to the pool at 11 o'clock at time.
11 o'clock at night, nobody was there but me.
And I wasn't doing laps.
I've just kind of waddling around, waiting for a half an hour to be up.
Probably shouldn't be telling this story.
I did that all the way through.
And it was one of the last times I went to the pool.
I look and I see a sign that says, make sure you're not in the pool alone.
Just honest, like living on Vancouver Island, my dumb ass doesn't know to swim.
It's kind of a downer to say, but me being honest,
thank you for your honesty.
You don't know how to swim.
suggest probably getting some beginner swimming lessons.
Oh, my God.
Just me being honest.
Would you suggest probably getting some beginner swimming lessons before even, you know, trying to apply?
Yeah.
I'll forward to your answer.
And thank you.
Yes, I would.
I would, Ryan.
Ryan, it's really easy to swim, okay?
Get a...
Man, come to the lake.
I'll teach you how, okay?
I'll teach you how to swim.
Call me back.
get a
get private lessons
learn out of swim dude
okay what are we going to play here
what's this kiddo say
this kiddo say
this is Pierre
Pierre
um it's only 17 years old
17 year old Pierre
I'm from the Philippines
came here in Canada
for three years now
fancy
and I just want to ask
about the
should I take any criminal justice
or police studies to be accepted or qualified to become a cadet?
No, you shouldn't take any of that.
Get a trade.
CMP.
Take English.
And how hard is depot.
Depo's easy.
Okay, it's not easy.
Depot's designed for you to pass.
Busy, busy, busy, a week goes by like that.
A month goes by like that.
designed to pass. It's not difficult.
Well, it is difficult.
What word am I looking for?
It's not impossible, okay?
You should see, just look at some of the cops that were walking around, okay?
They went through depot.
Okay, don't worry about that.
How hard is Depple?
I'm just 5'6 and 73 kilograms.
Okay, you're 5, 6, you weigh next to nothing.
Same with me.
It doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter what you weigh.
It doesn't matter how tall you are.
You know, I did 88 push-ups at Depot.
I maxed, I did 30 pull-ups.
I did the pair at 305, which pissed me off because they...
I'll tell that another day.
It should have been three.
And I benched 220.
And I'm...
I mean, I was the lightest one in Depot.
I don't know why I just told that story.
You know, it kind of pissed me off.
Some people would say, you say,
Oh, you did those push-ups, Clint, because you...
You don't weigh enough, okay?
It's harder for me because I weigh so much.
Then I go ahead and push 220, which is a big deal.
A lot of people in the troop couldn't do that.
It was over 110% of my body weight or something like that.
Anyways, dude, it doesn't matter what your size is at all.
Yeah, I don't know if I can handle the trainings.
Yeah, you can.
And lastly is, what if you failed the RCMP Academy?
He got cold feet there and hung up.
But then he called back, and I can't remember what he said, but it was something about.
Yes, I think I'm going to answer your question here.
If you fail the test, the entrance exam, you could take it again.
You could take it as many times as you want.
If you fail tests at Depo, you get to rewrite it.
But when I went through, I got to rewrite it.
If you fail again, you're out.
What do we got going on here?
Sir.
Okay, this one might be lengthy.
Just listen to it, though.
This is Sunday, May 30th, 1615, my end in Ontario here.
I just wanted to say it came across your channel today.
Thank you.
Did you like it?
I'm a 31-year-old pursuing policing.
I wanted to do it my whole life.
And, you know, I was in an industry that I was in for about 10 years, and now I'm in a different industry, but I'm still pursuing my dream.
And I don't really have anything specific to talk about, but I just wanted to say that your channel really enlightens me, and I'm sure a lot of other people that are pursuing it and that have gotten there.
And we're the fortunate to get there.
So I'm hoping one day that will be me.
And I just want to say thank you for, uh,
you're welcome.
For providing the content of your life experience.
And, uh, you know, just,
don't fall asleep, okay?
This guy says something here.
Just putting in certain things that are comedic in there as well.
Yeah, it just really helps, especially all the tips and tricks.
Tips and tricks.
Yeah, just the life experience.
You know, I'm 31 years old, trying 32, I'm still pursuing it, right?
Yeah.
And I've applied to multiple places and, you know, things take time.
And, you know, you get your yaze, you get your haze.
Maybe I should have edited this one, but I appreciate the call.
And if you want it that bad, you'll get it.
And to everybody out there, don't give.
Most people will get it if you want it that bad.
That's good advice.
It's something you've got to stick out.
I just about gave up.
Go up on it.
Don't give up on it.
We'll all get there.
We'll all get there.
We'll see everybody out there.
And, you know, I'm not getting up until,
get there. But I just wanted to leave a message, sir.
Just thank you for everything
that you did and what you're doing.
And just throwing a little comedic
in there as well. It's very
enlightening. It's hilarious.
But keep up to great work and enjoy
retirement and stay safe. You and your
family and everybody else out there too. Good luck.
And we'll all get it.
If you want it, you'll get it.
It doesn't matter how many times somebody says
no idea. Feel forward.
So everybody else, stay safe.
Clint, you stay safe as well.
And I'm watching you, sir.
It's awesome.
I'm watching your weekend.
And yeah.
Thanks for calling, dude.
And I like it when you watch me.
Did I play that one?
Oh, do I get?
Let's play this one here.
Guys, sorry that I don't play all of them.
But keep on Colin.
I love it.
Clinton.
A 17-year member with the force.
Right on.
I'm currently doing enforcement
or just came back from enforcement
in the Cary Creek Blockade.
and the misinformation is quite ridiculous.
It might be a good topic for you, for your channel.
We shared your channel over when we're together.
There was probably 100 of us over there on the island.
I know you were in Duncan, so you're probably well aware of all this,
or pardon me, Port Elberney.
Anyway, give it some thought.
Okay.
Thanks, dude.
And actually, we talked.
I called you.
Yes, sometimes I'll call you back.
I've called a few people.
I called this girl.
And
Hey Clint, Natalie Hunter.
Yeah.
Great shows.
You're doing, you're talking about stuff that just hits the nail on the head
and nobody else is allowed to talk about until you're retired.
I did firefighting, policing and corrections, 20 years in corrections.
The bosses are exactly like your bosses.
I don't know what it is in law enforcement.
There seems to be done.
versus us.
I'm off from
corrections permanently on long-term protection
income protection because
you know what? I'm scared of the bosses.
I think when I go
to work, I wonder what I'm in trouble for today.
Breathing or smiling,
you don't sue either. No, it's breathing.
It's a warm body.
But I couldn't take it anymore.
And I'm going to talk, you know,
a new fresh break with RCMP,
but it sounds like the same
shit. So,
I think it's time to just fill the white towel in and relax, but yeah, being transgender's not, not, didn't help things.
As soon as I came out, I've been suspended more than I didn't work.
Thanks for calling Natalie.
I actually called you back.
We had a good conversation.
Your cup was full and the little things are getting to you.
The little things started getting to me.
You know, people say, just let it follow, you know, roll off your back or whatever the saying is.
but I let them get to me.
I let the little things become big things.
I remember working one night,
and the boss came in to talk to me,
and after he left, I took every single item,
and I just kind of wiped it away onto the floor,
because what he said really ticked me off.
And I feel that Natalie was going through that,
so I called her.
We had a good conversation, and yes, rest of mind, Natalie, rest the mind,
hang in there.
and you're going to be fine.
You're going to be fine.
I know you are.
You got a good head on your shoulders.
And yeah, we had a good conversation.
Barricade blockade.
I'm going to do a video on it because I can't stand environmentalists.
I grew up in Port Al-Burney.
There's nothing that makes me more angry than an environmentalist doing a blockade
doesn't have a job, doesn't do anything in life.
And they're going to stop a logger.
from working. They're going to stop a guy that has a job
that needs to work for a living to support his family.
And you got these peckerheads
stopping you from eating.
Went through it my entire life
because my parents were in the forestry industry.
And I've been to protest on the other end,
protesting the environmentalist.
So, yeah, I'm going to do a video on it
because nothing gets me more going.
then the fairycade.
Oh, I'm not going to play this one.
I don't know.
What's this one?
Oh, okay.
Last one.
Hey, John.
Hey, man.
I watch your YouTube videos there and just watch the one on Shelby Patton there.
Sad.
And kind of the same boat as you is you don't really know what to feel except for pissed off.
The only thing we can really do is, you know, wear a blue pin on our shoulder.
And we're on our fest.
That's right.
You know.
And that is something.
Do a workout of the day to honor Shelby, which he more than well deserves.
And it funny nobody talking about it is going on about their day.
Mark Miller, Trudeau.
What do you say?
Right?
But we know everybody, I won't say it.
We know everybody that has died from the hands of police.
Why haven't I seen a picture of Shelby?
Patton's killer. Who killed that
police dog? You know what I mean?
And then just this morning we hear about a PSD dog
getting gun down in
Alberta. Corporal McLean's dog.
And yeah, you're pissed off
you know,
seeing shit rats get released all the time
and
yep.
How many times have these shit rats
been released? Right?
You guys are still cops.
You get to run his criminal record.
I'd love to see it.
the time there too. So anyway.
They want restorative justice.
Joke.
I guess the only real way to kind of harness that anger is to do it for these guys and
these members that, you know, go before us there and, you know, their lives then
tragically in the line of duty. So anyways, my name's Carl.
I work out on the East Coast.
And anyway, pissed off just like you there, John.
but I appreciate you doing the videos and it's good to see, you know,
you're not the only one kind of thinking about it.
It's kind of coast to coast to coast with members kind of getting fed up with, you know,
hearing about this type of stuff, you know, really all the time with no talk about it
on the media or, you know, any higher ups in the government.
So anyway, that's all I get to say.
Thanks, Joe.
Thanks for calling, dude, and there's nothing to say more about that.
Yeah, I just wanted to jump on here, guys.
There's so much I want to talk about.
There's so much I want to do.
But I'm babysitting all the time.
They're out of school.
And I got to force myself to get on here
because I want to talk about Palmer, VPD, chief.
And the shit that he's doing, man.
Wouldn't it be great if he was the RCMP?
commissioner, that guy in Vancouver.
I want to talk about him
and what he's been going through. I want to talk
about the mayor of Vancouver. I want to show that video,
those punks
that were attacking the cops.
There's lots I want to talk about.
And
become a member.
Join my join button.
And
I think it's the next level.
We'll work it out together.
I don't. We'll work it out together.
And when I get off here, I'm going to upload
that video to it and
I'm gonna be putting stupid shit on it
that I can't put it on YouTube
because I don't want people seeing it
going out on the boat today
I might take a video I don't know
do you really want to see it
I don't know maybe you don't
but if you do
join
and mom and dad don't
please don't
thanks guys
bye bye
