I'm the host.
My name is DJ Wells with my esteemed co-host.
I'm a guy.
Be here with me.
I got T with me.
Tell me, all right.
How y'all doing this morning?
Chilling, brother.
Good, good, good, good.
All right, man.
You know what the show is about.
Keep you up to date.
Everything happening in the sports world,
especially basketball. We're going to start off something that impacts, you know what I'm this show is about. Keep you up to date. Everything happening in the sports world, especially basketball.
We're going to start off something that impacts, you know what I'm saying,
the world.
It starts off here locally, man.
The Colts made a decision yesterday to bench Anthony Richardson for Joe Flacco.
Man.
Obviously, with us being in Indianapolis,
we know how the media has been treating Anthony Richardson
and the Colts season so far.
But did you expect for it to get this far?
Yep.
Pretty much.
Once he said he was tired in the third quarter,
I pretty much knew it was over with.
That's tough because
I understand that that's really wild, and we
talked about how crazy that is to take
place, but for them to bench him,
especially when you have a very, very important
game coming up, a National Televised game with, you know what I'm saying, the Minnesota Vikings, for your franchise to be a straight in that light, the next major play, you want to go with Joe Flacco?
Yeah, bro, we don't have no choice.
Who else are we going to go with?
Bring Flacky to the table, bro.
We want Baltimore Ravens, Flacky. Well, my problem is this. Now you have to look at the organization for questions before we really put all this hate and blame on Anthony Richardson
because if you get a quarterback where they got a quarterback in the draft,
he was pretty much unproven in college.
You knew he was a working project.
He hasn't played a full season yet.
If you want him to get good, you have to let him play.
No, I mean, let him work.
I thought you were just saying, like, you going to go with Joe Flacco?
I mean, shit, if we bench him, that's who we got to go with.
I mean, most definitely.
I think you should give him a chance, of course.
You know what I mean?
Just let him rock out the rest of the season, really.
Yeah, I really not like that, for real.
I'm not about to bring a Super Bowl here this year.
Just let him work the kinks out if he can,
because he's not going to get better on the sideline to me.
I ain't a football player, but I think you need reps in order to.
You know what I mean?
He need reps, and I'm not saying I like Anthony Richardson.
I think he a cool guy.
But I don't know if the quarterback position is like him right now.
I think he need to learn a little more.
I know he set out the whole year last year, but he need a little more time.
Like you said, he ain't have much.
He ain't play much at Florida.
And his time at Florida, he played well,
but he didn't throw the ball great at Florida.
Now, he threw the ball far, but he ain't throw it great.
And right now, I think he just need a little more time to develop.
And, I mean, you get better by playing,
but he might get better by watching. I Flacco every time he plays seem to play
well yeah and that's the thing um you know the coast especially since the luck era have had a
history of getting older quarterbacks um having not say successful seasons but the season there's
borderline playoffs or right there on the cusp of it but at the same time we talk about other
different situations it's like mediocrity consistently so get AR, so you hope to develop a quarterback.
But like you said, if he's not playing, how does he get better?
You look at some of the greats, even Peyton Manning,
one of the worst rookie QB seasons you've ever seen.
Right.
You look at early with my guy up in Buffalo.
Dang, not as well on the blank right now.
But if you look at him.
Josh Allen?
Yeah, Josh Allen.
He had a terrible rookie season. And I'll just say
this the same because it's his second season, but from a
game play standpoint, man,
he can figure it out. But at the end of the day,
even if he plays and he's terrible,
you still get a better pick. It's not like they're contending,
like you said. So I'm confused by this.
I think that a lot needs to go into the organization
to look in the mirror for some situations. Shane Stockton
has not been the best. This is what
you're supposed to be doing. It's supposed to be the QB whisperer.
Okay, we'll get to it.
The GM, Ballard, has been under the hot seat
because a lot of things in the offseason
did not get addressed.
And also, listen, if you're doing this situation
so you can save your job, that's unfair to him.
Yeah, thanks.
But that's the name of the business, most definitely.
Exactly.
And I'm like, the Colts is the best team.
You know what I mean?
Work on your game, bro.
Work on your game.
I'm going to save myself before I save you, my my boy and that's the crazy part about it it's like
i mean that's most businesses in general and especially in the name of sports you know those
positions they want to keep their job so of course they're gonna do whatever they got to do to have a
good resume have a good report but man that's really kind of unfair to him especially you know
him being a minority quarterback you look at a lot of those guys. Man, look at Bryce Young.
Bryce Young, year two, in a terrible situation.
Everybody's calling him damaged goods.
He's not going to get that chance to be, okay, if it doesn't work out,
he can be a two-year backup.
You also got to, you know, we not with him every day.
We don't know what he's doing.
We don't know how he prepares.
Touche.
So he might not prepare the way they think he should.
And when he goes out, he doesn't produce when he goes out there.
So maybe they like, man, he's not preparing.
So it may be the same for him.
So they need to go in a different direction.
And that's the difference between him and Bryce Young.
When Bryce Young is out there, he produces.
They don't know who to play.
Bryce Young is having a better season than Anthony Richardson.
Ooh, wow, that's tough. I would want either one of those seasons, to be completely honest.
Yeah, man.
He ain't.
The thing about AR is, like we said, he can throw the ball really, really far.
When they have those opportunities, and also injury has played.
They didn't have Johnson Taylor for a while.
You got to kind of let, you just have to deal with it, man.
I think that any of that has been spoiled.
You went from Peyton Manning to Andrew Luck.
That doesn't happen much.
I know the last couple of years have been old QBs on their way out the league,
but this is what it takes, man.
Sometimes you got to deal with it.
Yeah.
I mean, he need an opportunity to, like, try to get better or whatever.
You got to play to get better.
But I'm saying it got to be something else.
It got to be something that he's not doing off the field.
Like, he might not be preparing right.
That's all I'm saying.
If he's saying he's tired, then it got to be something else, bro.
Yeah. I was going to say, to be real, the whole I'm tired on third down,
I know people was like, everybody gets tired, but that's still crazy.
And given the circumstances of which how he's been playing
and the magnitude of that game yesterday, I don't want to hear that.
Yeah, I'm telling y'all, it's about what he's doing off the field,
the way he's preparing.
They're like, man, he just don't get it.
Because you just, obviously the coach, they're not playing for nothing.
I mean, they could be, but they're probably not going to be playing for nothing.
And you got to work with him.
You picked him that high.
You got to.
It's something else, bro.
It's like, nah, he's just not getting it.
We got to show him that we not playing.
He either going to lock in, and if he don't, we going to play flat.
And obviously that's what happened. And it's always bad.
Cause if you watch the coast games,
as soon as something bad happens on offense,
they pan straight to Joe Flacco.
Like they did.
It was like they did Taylor at the Kansas city games.
As soon as something went bad, Joe Flacco,
I was like, oh, they ain't painting the narrative.
Regardless of how we feel about it,
they pushing this agenda and apparently it has worked. I don't know if that coming on third down was like, oh, they ain't painting the narrative. Regardless of how we feel about it, they pushing this agenda. And apparently it has worked.
I don't know if that coming on third down was like a little pow-pow,
like as a reprimand for it.
But it's crazy, man.
Get Wilson on the coast.
So will it.
Yeah.
We'll see.
Hey, niggas, we cast the boys out.
Hey, the NFL different, bro.
It's not like the NBA.
You have two bad games in that field.
It's a conversation.
You have a couple in a row.
They going to want you to get your up out of there bro
I'm a Falcons fan
oh here we go
Curt T
Yankees man
got they get back
11-4
they trying to you know
stay alive
that's a money grab
let's keep this thing
rolling as long as we can
man
that's all
watching that game
last night
it was like the Dodgers
they had
some of their best
relievers that they
could have put in
they just like nah we gonna wait like kind of like have put in. They're just like, nah, we're going to wait.
Kind of like Boston did with the Mavs.
Like, ah, we're going to give you all that game.
That go crazy.
Is there too much energy?
Y'all got it.
We'll catch y'all next time around.
It's going seven, though.
Excuse me?
It's going seven.
You think that the Yankees have a chance to make this series something?
Watch.
Watch.
Watch what?
They're going to come back.
The Yankees want to win another game. DraftKings handshake something? Watch. Watch. Watch what? They're going to come back. The Yankees want to win another game.
DraftKings handshake here?
Watch.
It could be a DraftKings.
Whatever you want to do.
I ain't betting.
I'm just letting y'all see.
All right, because I'm undefeated on this show.
I know it was good for TV.
Really?
He's undefeated on this show, except for the parlays.
Oh, me.
I'm talking about my co-hosties.
I know it was good for TV, man.
They definitely going seven.
For sure.
I wanted to ask you about this.
It's crazy because the World Series, they be having games back to back to back.
How would that be if that happened in the NBA?
I know that's probably unlikely because of recovery time and stuff like that,
but I think that the way that you lose to a team and you come back and you can get your revenge the next day instead of having to sit in the stool. I know that's probably unlikely because of recovery time and stuff like that, but I think that the way that you
lose to a team and you
come back and you can
get your revenge the
next day instead of
having to sit and
stew and think about
it, I think that's fire.
Yeah, I think it'll be
bad basketball.
It would be too
tired.
Mm-hmm.
Maybe a lot of...
I mean, everybody
get an opportunity to
play, I'll tell you
that, but it'd probably
be a lot of injuries.
I could definitely say
that, but I just think
if they ever was to do
it in the finals,
obviously we know the money and everything else behind
it is the reason why it won't. But just from a standpoint
of them, because they'd be having two or three days because you want to see
their best at their best. Yeah, facts. But just
the fact that you can get back in 24 hours?
Nah, that'd be dope.
I think that's how everybody wishes
you could play basketball. But obviously, it's
too hard. Games too
long, too many games. Bodies
be broken down. It'll never happen. Yeah, that's Too many games. Bodies be broken down.
Wouldn't ever happen.
Yeah, that's crazy.
Tristan Bale at the NCAA tournament, man.
That would be insane for sure.
Listen, we've seen the first season starting five on Netflix.
We got the new roster coming up.
We got KD, SGA, James Harden, Halliburton, and Jalen Brown.
How y'all feel about that cast?
Weak.
Dang.
You ain't feeling that?
Oh, take my suggestions.
Who y'all start with? Talk about a five, bro. Talk to him. Ant. Pablo. week. Dang, you ain't feeling that? Oh, take my suggestions. Who you gonna talk about?
Talk to him.
Aunt, Pablo,
Jai.
And I already did it.
Bring you back.
Yeah, what do you mean? You see this type of freestyles?
This ain't power. We ain't getting boys out of there.
Bring me back. I'm the star of the show.
What I say, Pablo, Aunt, Jai, you gotta't getting boys out of there. Bring me back. I'm going to start the show. What'd I say?
Pablo and Jai, you got to bring, what's my boy from the Washington Wizards?
Number three.
Jordan Poole.
Spice it up.
Turn me up with a Sousa.
I guess Halliburton.
Y'all put a mixed breed on there.
Nah, I'm cool.
I like this.
People was talking about when they saw this, like, dang, we wish this was James Harden in Houston.
Yeah, now that would've been lit.
But James Harden in LA
ain't bad either, though.
Most definitely not.
He ain't gonna do nothing
on TV, though.
I think the only person
that's really gonna show
who they are is Ant.
On this one,
I could definitely see
Tyrese doing it.
KD,
you'll get a
decent glimpse of KD
just because he's a little bit older.
KD can do whatever now.
He's years.
I'm gonna think I'm showing blonde
for us,
like,
smoking.
Yeah,
I was going to say,
that's going to be...
That's tough.
That'd be hard,
though.
We don't encourage it,
but for the viewers,
for the entertainment
purposes.
If it's legal,
y'all stay,
go crazy.
I mean,
he spoke about it
on big platforms already.
Yeah,
roll up on a new bus,
bro.
Give us something,
bro.
Like,
we know y'all hoop, bro.
I think this is for people to see that y'all are human beings,
normal human beings, bro.
You know what I mean?
We cool watching you with your family, stuff like that, bro.
But I think it's fire because, like you said,
we get a glimpse of everybody that's really human.
It's like, okay, we get caught up in being fans in a situation.
It's like, all right, it's possible for you to have a bad day
on your way to work like everybody else.
Because people are like, for y'all, they don't care what y'all got going on. Hey, it's possible for you to have a bad day on your way to work like everybody else. Because people like for y'all,
they don't care
what y'all got going on.
Hey, bro,
I need you to cover
this part later, bro.
I don't care how bad
your drive was to work.
They talk bad to you too.
So it's cool to see
these other side of people, man.
Like I want to see SGA.
I don't know him much.
I mean,
I played against him,
but don't know him.
But to see probably
how he work
or how he go about his day,
preparing to get 30
on everybody,
that's going to be cool yeah like you said
it's a chance for them
to get introduced
to a different audience
people randomly scrolling
on Netflix
are really tapping in
with these people
and like really like the brand
because like you said
everybody hoops
but you don't see
what everybody puts
into the game
and some people
the way that they put
their game together
is really admirable
yeah in fact
we know Jalen Brown
going to be on there
it's serious
that's corporate
nah see Jalen Brown
might get on there and really talk crazy he done got the. Nah, see, Jalen Brown might get on there
and really talk crazy.
He done got the bag.
He done got the chip.
He might really get on there.
You see how he was
with Stephen A?
I guess I got to be with Nike
to be on Team USA.
He might really get on there
and pop some shit.
I mean, he already doing a lot.
He had a birthday party,
so I'm sure that's going to be
on there with Lil Baby
and everybody being there.
So that might be
a cool sight to see.
Barack Obama, bro.
He going presidential on it? Yeah. Which ain't bad. I'm just saying, I know you ain't going to see. Barack Obama, bro. He going presidential all the time.
Yeah.
Which ain't bad.
I'm just saying, I know you ain't going to probably get that much from him.
I ain't going to lie, but that's him every day.
Like, who's that when we play for Boston?
He joke and stuff, obviously, but pretty serious dude.
I ain't going to lie.
I think SGA is the most surprising that people are waiting for on that list.
Yeah, he might really surprise people how he is.
That's why I'll be
interested in him.
Watching his story.
Shout out to my dog
Tyrese too, man.
Keep the Vegas trip
off there.
Last but not least,
when we get to the game,
recaps.
Hey, man,
shout out to Rudy Gay, man.
Rudy Gay, now since retirement,
18 years as a pro,
2K legend.
Come on, man.
Code of small forward
ever out of UConn.
100%.
I don't even know no small forwards from UConn, but... There's a lot of UConn. A hundred percent.
I don't even know no small forwards
from UConn,
but there's a lot
of them,
bro.
I don't know.
To me,
I'd go against
who?
Who's small forward?
There's a lot of
them,
bro.
Charlie,
Charlie V.
Power forward.
What's my boy
that played?
He looked like a,
I can't call him a
monkey,
I guess,
but number 33.
No,
that wouldn't be good. For UConn, he was cold. I can't remember names at the, I guess. Number 33. That wouldn't be good.
He was cold.
I can't remember names at the moment.
We have to get a list going.
He wasn't that cold.
He can't remember his name.
I can't remember.
He was cold, bro.
He used to get buckets, bro.
He wasn't that cold.
He used to get buckets.
Man, shots, Rudy Gay.
Nah, Young Marshall is a small four.
Karan Butler is a small four.
Fuck out of here.
Karan Butler the best small four to come out of UConn.
No.
You crazy as hell.
No, nigga.
Rudy Gay is nasty at UConn.
You fucking crazy.
He wasn't bad at Karan Butler at UConn.
Yes, he was.
Yes, he was, bro.
At UConn, stop.
Nigga, he ain't do nothing at UConn.
Yes, he was.
What do you mean?
I'm talking about stats.
Stop talking about winning.
You don't want to do stats.
He was killing.
He wouldn't kill him more than Karan Butler at UConn.
Yes, he was, bro.
I swear to God, he would.
Yes, he would, bro. Pull the stats of, he was. Yes, he was, bro.
Oh, yeah.
You caught Karan Butler versus Rudy Gay and Stats at UConn.
Rudy Gay, you the coldest, bro.
I love Karan.
CB, what you did to get to UConn, you goaded just off that.
Yeah.
But on the court, give me Rudy Gay, bro.
I'm nothing.
Hey, man.
Shots to Rudy Gay.
Rudy Gay.
Get bucks in the league a long time, man.
League, maybe. That's a toss Rudy Gay, getting booked in the league a long time, man. League?
Maybe. That's a toss-up, though, in the league. I'm taking Caron in
the league. Yeah, I'm taking, I'm really taking
him everywhere. Yeah, Caron's an all-star.
Yeah, but in college, I'm
sleep, bro. Rudy Gay?
Cold, bro. March Madness
legend, bro. For sure, man. Shout out
to Rudy Gay. I'm going to do some research.
Are you going to tap in? Okay.
A couple games we tapped last night.
Nuggets got the Nessun OT.
He got questions. Crazy stuff on here, man.
I got to start checking. You checking, boys?
Okay. Checking shit is crazy.
First of all.
Standing on business with Charlie V?
Shots and drew a watch. Hey, man, Nuggets beat the
Nessun OT yesterday, 144-139.
Jokic, man, putting a team on his back another night.
This spooky for them, bro.
29-18-16.
Overtime back-to-back is crazy, bro.
Bro need a break, bro.
Overtime back-to-back nights, bro.
And they be wondering why he be having such a long face in my basketball.
Bro, I got to carry these dudes so much, bro.
I be loving the offseason.
I ain't gotta have
my back aching.
Wayne Wonder went crazy
though yesterday.
Shout out to Strother, man.
28-14.
Call me Wayne Wonder.
Wow.
Cam.
Cam went crazy.
I did as well.
As usual.
Yeah.
They been killing.
Yeah, their backcourt
is all right, bro.
And we talking about that
being on a team
where you don't have to pass the ball to nobody.
Their wings is not about to catch it and create.
And Ben don't want to shoot.
So, yeah, they got the ultimate green light.
That's fire for them.
For sure.
Man, I can't believe he could bury Rudy Gay and Karan Butler.
Man, get out of here.
Shout out to Rudy Gay.
Rudy Gay averaged 13.
Karan Butler averaged 18.
It's the same thing.
He had a better team, bro.
He played with a whip.
13-18.
Rudy Gay played with a whip, bro.
13-18. Not the same thing. It is, bro. Man. It's the better team, bro. He played with a whip. Rudy Gay played with a whip, bro. 13-18, not the same thing.
It is, bro.
It's the same thing, bro.
How long was Karan in college?
Karan was in jail.
I'm always bringing up niggas' allegations.
Yeah, 18.
How long was he there? 18-73.
How long was he there, bro?
Damn.
Shout out to the iPads.
Shout out to that nigga Obama phone he got.
Get a bit of Wi-Fi.
My Wi-Fi lit.
He got a lot of accolades on this motherfucker.
Cut it out, bro.
First round, 10th pick.
2001, 2002.
Oh, no.
Two-time All-Big East. two-time All-Big East tournament,
two-time All-Freshman, Big East tournament MVP.
Who's next, DJ?
What he's doing?
Oh, you're saying people are watching this show.
Yeah, that's crazy.
We're keeping up with this debate.
He was there two years.
How long was Rudy there?
Too long.
Nah, don't do that.
Don't do that.
I think Rudy's 0-4 class.
He was there two years.
Right.
First and sophomore year.
Right.
How many rebounds he average?
Five.
Karan Butler average seven.
That's pretty good.
Oh, wait a minute.
I thought he had an ace in the hole.
This guy was like, yeah.
But he had a better team than us.
A six to one.
Rudy Gaines.
We don't pass.
Nah, we don't pass.
Karan Butler average three.
We don't pass.
Yes, sir.
We all pure buckets.
We got to move along, man.
That's a hell of a debate for another time.
Hell no.
That's disrespectful.
It's not, bro.
Man, the Jazz is like one of the game teams.
Secure Business won 13-96.
The Bonus, 28-11.
D-Rose, 28, man.

What did the jazz
have to do with it?
Call that nigga D-Rose.
That's what Kendrick
called him in the song.
The more the roses,
don't do it. I'm like, damn, I'm not taking a return. We ain't doing that. That's what he called him in the song, y'all. Bro, DeMar DeRozan. I was like, damn, I'm about to hit return.
We ain't doing that.
That's what he called him in the song, bro.
DeMar DeRozan, I don't give a damn about that song.
My boy been killing.
Four games in, a dub, plus every night.
Oh, yeah, you know what he going to do, man?
He going to get to it.
My boy might be the verified bucket.
The professional scorer, bro.
Yeah.
He getting buckets.
Now, the Jazz, they have a lot of pieces that other teams are looking forward to having on their team.
I don't know what they're going to do right now, but definitely Cooper Flagg sweepstakes for them as well.
Oh, yeah.
He fit right in.
Oh, yeah.
New balance deal in Utah.
They going platinum.
There might be some home cooking right there.
Please don't go there.
Listen, man, we got the Western Conference Finals rematch last night.
The Mavs and the T-Wolves, 121-14 Mavs.
Man, listen, that was a crazy game from the start, man.
Anthony Edwards, 24 points in the first quarter.
I thought it was already over there.
Yeah, for him to only end up with 37,
I thought he was going for 50.
But, you know.
Who locked him up?
The Mavs, nobody, bro.
We was just shooting bad.
Don't do that.
The Mavs just turned it up, though.
In particular, Kyrie.
Kyrie was on that all night last night.
Kyrie boy, he's special.
He unguardable.
As we all know.
But yeah, that's it for Klay.
Klay took the night off yesterday.
I think he only had like seven points.
Yeah, he didn't have the best game,
but you talked about it lively,
but also I got to show some of the damn Gaffer.
That tandem at the four and five system
when they play together, bro,
is a really, really tough team to deal with, man.
Nah, them two big athletic guards.
I mean, bigs, they're super athletic, get rebounds, run around,
try to change shots at the rim.
So they got a special dynamic with them too, man.
I mean, that's the way the league is going.
A lot of threats and guys that can guard on the perimeter as big.
So they figured it out.
Definitely, man.
A lot of people, you know what I'm saying,
figured they might be close
in the contention
to West again.
Where they looking?
Listen, Luka had 24 last night,
almost a triple-double,
but he still really
kind of had an off night.
I mean, he hit a hell of a shot,
you know what I'm saying,
to secure the game.
That was a nasty step back
from Denver half-court.
But he didn't have
the best night.
We know Kyrie can carry you there,
but man,
if they get one more piece,
I think they are a piece away from being a championship team.
They got it now to me.
You think so?
I think they need one more player off the bench that can kind of give them the points
when they haven't got somebody like a six-man type situation.
You can just give them the ball and get points because, you know,
when you get to the East, if they play a Celtics team,
they're going to need another wing who's capable.
Yeah.
But other than that, I mean, yeah, of course,
obviously they got to the Western Conference last year and then added Klay.
I kind of like how Luka is playing, though.
I mean, obviously he's having some off games,
but he kind of letting everybody rock.
He not like being as ball dominant like he used to be.
He letting Kyrie do his thing.
He getting Klay shots.
He kind of playing like a real point guard right now.
His shot not falling like that,
but we know how
explosive he can be
when it comes to
scoring the ball.
For sure, man.
Even yesterday
with Julius Randle,
27-7.
That's light.
Being aggressive,
you know what I'm
saying, while A was
still killing.
And I think, like
you said, I see the
chemistry building
with him for sure,
man, especially on
the court.
I just like that
energy together.
Yeah, bro.
Shaq and Kobe,
we good.
We good, bro.
It ain't nothing
to harp on. We gonna move on to the next game, bro. I don, bro. It ain't nothing to harp on.
We gonna move on to the next game, bro.
I don't think that team ain't gonna get it.
That team ain't gonna do what?
They gonna be playing.
This is probably the most disrespectful.
See, I'm trying to stay Stephen A.
And, you know, that's very disrespectful, bro.
Just saying playing. What's that record right now know, that's very disrespectful, bro. Just like playing.
What's that record right now?
You're not being real, bro.
It's 500 right now,
early in the season, though.
It's four games.
You can play 100 games.
Playing is crazy.
Telling you, bro.
All right, make sure
y'all clip this up.
That's pure foolishness.
That's for the futures.
Man, bro.
What's that?
Who played next?
What the f...
That's crazy.
Hey, Midwood Warriors beat the Pelicans last night f- That's crazy. Hey, Middle Warriors.
Beat the Pelicans last night,
124-106.
Listen, Steph didn't play last night,
but it didn't matter
because Bahamas version of Steph
played last night.
My boy Buddy Hill had 28,
7 from 11 for 3.
That's what I'm saying.
I said Buddy Hill gonna go crazy.
Hey, and we gonna talk about him
in the next segment, too.
In true Buddy Hill fashion,
he had one assist, baby.
I love it.
We don't swing that.
He said he feel like he back in Oklahoma. That's what he said, he had one assist, baby. I love it. We don't swing that. He said he feel like
he back in Oklahoma.
That's what he said.
He had the Oklahoma team
with him.
He had his college
teammates back.
There's nobody playing.
Yeah, it was real tough
last night.
And listen,
before we even get to the game,
let's talk about Kaminga, man.
His situation,
you know what I'm saying,
they did not get the extension
on the fourth year.
It's happened before,
but it was kind of like,
we're kind of surprised
that it didn't work out for a rookie extension.
And then for him to get benched last night,
where you don't have Steph Orwig, was really alarming.
He smoked the bag, man.
Dang, you think so?
It's off of it, man.
Like, you ain't going to get as much money as you thought.
You're definitely not getting no max deal.
And then they'll get, like, we probably turn down four years,
five years, 125 to 150 or something.
He probably turned that down.
It's over with.
Yeah, that's tough.
Like you said, that rookie deal, you got to lock that in.
You got to lock it in, bro.
And he with a coach who's staying on business.
This is the man who benched Jason Tatum in the Olympics, bro.
You think he care about staying on business with you? Yeah, bro. Everybody in Jason Tatum in the Olympics, bro. You think he care about standing up business with you?
Yeah, bro.
Everybody in Africa rolling around in their grave, bro.
But he wasn't that proven anyway.
Like, he got potential to be good, but he ain't really do nothing.
Yeah, that's my thing.
Like you said, the opportunity was there, Tony Simp,
but you haven't done anything that made them, like, be head over heels happy,
especially the organization that has had greats at that position for so long.
Yeah, you got to really be good.
Because we talk about him at the beginning of the year,
C. Percy said, this is probably the deepest team I've had.
And we all said, yeah, that's some bullshit.
Bless you.
But then you look, you got Lindy Waters yesterday coming off of bench 21A.
People probably don't know who he is,
but if you get production like that from guys,
you got to credit the system.
And right now, it's like, you ain't bigger than the system.
And he not, I ain't going to lie, he got potential, but.
Most definitely.
I just don't, I never seen him really, really, really kill.
Like, I haven't been like, oh, like Jalen Johnson, I seen him kill.
I'm like, man, he going to be all right.
Like, Kaminga, I just be like, hmm.
Yeah, he ain't had them Jordan Poole moments.
Yeah, he definitely ain't had no Jordan Poole moments.
No, no, no.
He ain't had those. Hmm, all right. I mean, he ain't had them Jordan Poole moments. Yeah, he definitely ain't had no Jordan Poole moments. No, no, no. He ain't had those.
All right.
I mean, he must be good.
I mean, he can be good.
That's on the deal, bro.
Do you feel like he could benefit from being on a different team
in a different situation?
Nah, I mean, you in the perfect situation.
You playing with a – he can't really shoot the ball like that.
He's not a shooter.
But you was around a whole bunch of shooting,
and you a dynamic wing, supposedly, that's perfect for you.
The lane going to be open.
You can use your athleticism to get to the bucket.
They're not helping off Steph.
Draymond, the best screener.
He don't even want to shoot.
Hell of a solitaire.
Yeah, my thing is, too, like, it's about to be your team.
You're about to have the keys to the city.
Well, you was if you'd have signed the bag, but I'm saying
everybody about to slide, bro.
You was going to be straight.
Yeah, but I don't even think that.
Because he said, I need money like Kawhi Leonard.
That's what blew me.
I mean, also,
you got to sell yourself, but
those are some tough comparisons. He put himself
to Kawhi Leonard and Pascal.
Two champions who were proven to average basically 20 until they first started the league put himself to Kawhi Leonard and Pascal. Two champions who were proven
to average basically 20 until they
first started the league, except for Kawhi due to the situation.
That's a bad place to put yourself in a comparison.
Yeah, I'm asleep on that. He averaged last year
like 12, 13. He actually had a
decent game yesterday, though. You know what I mean?
Yeah, off the bench for sure.
He was straight. Come on,
bro. If you're moving to the bench when people
are out, that's a different conversation, man.
But we got to show love to the Pelicans, too.
You know what I'm saying?
Zion, B.I., they both had 30 last night.
They can't lose that game, though.
Can't.
Can't.
Not with Steph.
And they was up 20.
That's the important part that we didn't talk about.
They were up 20.
The Warriors were down 20.
Yeah, but C.J. McCollum had a bad game yesterday, too.
They really needed him.
Him only having five points was kind of crazy for them.
Yeah, that's out of pocket.
Especially if you already got a 20-point lead and smoking that.
No Steph, no.
He been on pace to average another dub for the year.
So, for him to have five points yesterday.
And he wasn't aggressive offensively yesterday.
I mean, when two people got it rolling, though, it's kind of tough.
That 30 ball?
Yeah, when two people got 30, you might be the's kind of tough. That 30 ball? Yeah, when two people
got 30, you might be
the oddball out sometimes,
but five is crazy.
Yeah.
For him, yeah.
Five is bad if it's a terrible,
I mean, five ain't ever
really acceptable,
but five is bad when you have
that type of shooting percentage
as well, I understand.
Yeah.
So, listen, we got a lot
of matchups coming up tonight.
First game, Spurs,
you know what I'm saying?
The two-beat game of the day.
The Raptors versus Hornets.
Who y'all rolling with?
Hornets by 30. By 30? Yeah. He said the two-beat game of the day. The Raptors versus Hornets. Who y'all rolling with? Hornets by 30.
By 30? Yeah.
He said the Raptors was out in the club last night.
Who you going with, T? I don't even care.

Shout out to DG219. Who's sitting out
for Bronny to play? What do you mean?

Anytime there's somebody versus y'all,

Whoever is killing

Take the over
because we give our highlights
unfortunately.
Yeah,
y'all,
hold on,
let's pause right there
for them.
Y'all are really
one in three,
bro?
Yes.
Damn. We have lost two games that we should not have lost.
We shouldn't have lost Orlando. We smoked that game.
Y'all are better. I mean, Orlando is better than y'all.
I told you that. Moving along.
The Pistons at the 76ers.
Told y'all what he do. Pistons have not won a game
this season. The 76ers.
I'm not starting off my day with two sliders in a row. You won't ruin my sports. You won't ruin my sports. Pistons. The 76ers. I'm not starting off my day with two slaters in a row.
You won't ruin my sports.
You won't ruin my sports.
Pistons are ass.
The Pistons.
Jesus, I don't even know
if we could put them on Tubi.
Put them on Sidekick, LX.
Anything would dial up.
Yeah, the Wizards.
I mean, excuse me.
76ers, bye, whatever.
Tyrese Maxey.
He getting 35 tonight.
Take that over tonight, baby.
Who the Pistons coach?
I don't know.
JB, right? JB Biggers? Yeah, he told them no hoodies. He it over tonight, baby. Who the Pistons coach? I don't know. JB, right?
JB Biggers?
Yeah, he told them no hoodies.
He trying to change the culture.
Let them put their hoodies back on, bro.
They ain't want to get in.
For you to be trying to switch up the dress code is crazy.
You are not David Stern.
For you to think that the Pistons' problem is that they are wearing different bags of clothes
like it's the old dress code.
They have a lot more issues than what they're wearing, dog.
Let them young boys rock.
Man, they suck.
Yeah.
Speaking of bad,
Hawks and Wizards.
This is the two-beat.
This is the late two-beat game.
We two and two.
DJ, what the fuck?
We two and two.
Speaking of bad.
Nah, we two and two.
We had to get back right.
Okay.
Y'all the Wizards.
Yeah, they beat us live.
Are the Hawks better
than the Pacers, Jeff? No. You see our record? No. I respect Lord Wizards. Yeah, they beat us live. Are the Hawks better than the Patriots, Jeff?
No.
You see our record?
No.
Oh, respect, Lord.
No.
God, no.
Hey, shout out to the Wizards, man.
Shout out to Joy Pool, man.
I don't care if the Wizards do anything.
I just want Joy Pool to average 30.
Just hook, bro.
Yes.
My boy going to kill tonight.
You know it.
Three's up, baby.
For sure.
Knicks at heat, man.
Who y'all got?
I'm taking the heat. Taking the heat tonight? I'm going to take the Knicks tonight. You're going to take. Knicks at heat, man. Who y'all got? I'm taking the heat.
Taking the heat tonight?
I'm going to take
the Knicks tonight.
You're going to take
the Knicks tonight?
I'm going to roll
with the heat tonight.
Roll with the heat.
I think the Knicks
still figuring that out,
bro.
Miami ain't a bad
place to figure it out.
They probably went
out as a team.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And Ben,
I mean,
Ben's been playing well,
but he ain't had
a high scoring
like crazy game
and you know what I'm saying?
Playing cap,
that Kentucky stuff, it'll probably the end. You know what I'm saying? Playing cat, that Kentucky stuff.
It'll probably happen tonight.
Magic versus Bulls.
I'm going with the Magic, bro.
You're going with the Magic.
Hey, listen, man.
Because Lonzo hurt.
Yeah, man.
Speed recovery for Lonzo.
He ain't going to be out too long.
He hurt his wrist, right?
Yeah.
Damn, boy. He just can't get right.
Sorry, dude.
Take a couple days off, my bro.
What they say on life.
The boy don't talk. The boy just can't get right. Just sub in Jello couple days off my brother. What they say on life? The boy don't talk.
The boy just can't get right.
Just sub in Jello, bro.
Just call him slow, bro.
That's what it is.
Magic by 20.
Let's add Grizzlies.
Yeah, that's the...
That's the varsity
to be game.
I'm not sure yet,
but that's the varsity
to be game.
I'm a...
Ken Thomas 30 plus. Let's go. That's all I care about. Ken definitely sure yet, but that's the varsity to be gay. Ken Thomas,
30 plus.
Let's go.
That's all I care about.
Ken definitely getting 30,
but...
Yeah, I hate that.
We got to see
if Jai is playing or not.
If Jai is playing or not,
I'm going to take Grizzlies,
but...
Yeah, if not,
I'm going to go with the Nets.
One game.
That's tough.
Spurs at Thunder.
Wimby versus Chet.
Let's go.
Thunder.
Thunder, easy money.
How you want to be here? Wimby, Chet. Let's go. Thunder. Thunder, easy money. How you want to be here?
Wimby, 30, 10, six blocks.
Thunder about 30.
Thunder.
That's a hell of a parlay.
I'm going to go Thunder as well.
Pelicans at Warriors.
Back to back?
Yeah.
Pelicans.
Yeah, Pelicans.
Steph ain't playing.
I'm going to go with the Warriors again. That'll be crazy. Another Buddy Hill night? Yeah. Yeah, Pelicans. Steph ain't playing. I'm going to go with the Warriors again.
That'll be crazy. Another Buddy Hill night?
Yeah, Buddy Hill going crazy. You already know.
Buddy going to get FGAs, no assists. Better be getting
shots up. Pop the balloon on Buddy Hill.
The balloon challenge on the Warriors
is crazy. It's crazy.
Pelicans by 20. Last but not
least, Blazers at Clippers. Clips.
Yeah, the Blazers definitely.
True TV game. Y'allzers definitely. True TV game.
Y'all definitely.
That NCAA game that you never watch.
Yeah, sure.
The 4-13 matchup ain't never televised.
James Harden triple-double tonight.
Oh, yeah.
Most definitely.
I can see that loan for sure.
Yeah.
Man, your favorite segment on this show,
be here and verify buckets.
Who was getting two of last night?
And, man, 7 for 13 from the three.
You know, we didn't get the dub,
but I'm really
one in.
37.
We off to a good start,
baby.
For sure.
Man,
you know,
I got to go
with my favorite
player of all time,
Kyrie Irving.
You know what I'm saying?
35.
16 to the third,
two.
I know he's your
favorite player
of all time.
Yeah, man.
He passed good
arenas, man.
Give you my dog,
but game's a game.
Kyrie,
got two of last night, man.
My very proud bucket is Jokic.
He's been carrying his team
all year. Back-to-back 40-point
games. Then he got 29,
18, and 16 last night.
He really probably, he on MVP pace again.
Even though he don't want it.
He don't want the MVP. He don't even want to play basketball.
That's how good he is, bro. Don't even like
basketball, bro. Man man that's really his job
and I respect that
look I do my job
in a good capacity
but when I'm off work
I'm off work
I'm trying to go race
I'm not trying to kick
with y'all
he really mad right now
cause he this good
at playing basketball
he don't want to play
like this is
this is boring to me
yeah 29
18 and 16
is boring now
which is crazy bro
which is crazy
and what's so crazy
about him is like
he got a ring already
so really
I mean
from people's eyes
you got Max Dill
in a ring
bro you solidified
he doesn't care
it's effortless
do y'all ever think
he'll leave the Nuggets
I think he gonna
quit playing basketball
after his deal is up
you think so
yeah I don't think
he gonna be one of them
guys that plays
20 years
nah 20 years nah yeah nah like Nah, 20 years, nah.
Yeah, nah. Like, what year are you in? He might
be in like year 8, 9.
We can look it up right now. I think he literally
is going to retire after his deal is up.
After his last deal, I think he'd probably be done
playing basketball. That's crazy. I'm looking it up
now because I think it's close to new. Yeah, I see him
doing 10 and out.
10 and out is crazy.
I think whatever his contract is left on his contract,
I think he's going to finish it up in a year or nine.
Ah, man.
He probably got like three or four years left on his new deal.
Yeah, he got two at least.
He's done after.
Yeah.
That's crazy.
But, I mean, what's so crazy about it is he could re-up again
if he felt like it.
But, man, he not.
I mean, what are you on, like a $300 million deal?
Yeah, he's on a...
I agree with Jeff because he's accomplished everything.
I done won everything in this league.
So I'm going to go back to Serbia and turn up, bro.
Yeah.
All the horses in that country, bro.
I got half a bill.
Yeah, I'm straight.
I don't know the cost of living what over there in Serbia is, but...
Huh?
He just last year in the NBA.
That's crazy.
228.
Honestly, we'll have another conversation if he gets close to another ring
or if he gets another one, but that would be fire.
To get two like that 10, 11 years in and dip out, that's easy.
2028, he leaving, bro.
I'm automatically Hall of Fame.
Y'all got to put me in there.
He Hall of Fame now.
He one of the best centers ever to play the game today.
2028, he's done.
There ain't nothing else to do.
For sure.
Also, we forgot this. We got to show my man some love. Travis Hunter, man.
Verified bucket. You get an offensive
player and defensive player of the week is fire.
Historic stuff.
Legendary two-way player, bro. That's hard.
That's fire, man.
Now, a lot of people have been catching flack for him
saying once he gets to the NFL that he's not going to be
able to do both of those things. He's definitely not.
I think he has to be a special type player, like a special package of a road.
He cannot consistently play both.
No.
Because that's not realistic in the NFL.
Not every day like he do now.
He might have a package where he play offense.
Mm-hmm.
And that's normal.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's normal for those type of athletes, so I get it.
Yeah, bro, that's a lot to ask everybody.
He's young.
He could do it for a couple years.
No, that's ridiculous.
In the NFL, they're not going to risk him getting murdered
as a number one pick playing both sides of the...
Just give him Heisman, though.
He didn't stamp Heisman.
It's over.
I'm still going with the boy from Boise State.
Nah, bro.
He's nice.
I think you got to look a little bit further down
for this Heisman conversation just because
some of them tougher games you're hearing,
those will really be the deciding factors.
They take everything into account
in getting those awards, too.
It ain't just off the stats.
Team accomplishment,
they definitely look into that as well.
And I got to give Colorado their respect.
I always hate on Colorado.
I mean, they been...
Six and two, baby.
Bow bound.
They doing their thing, bro.
They doing their thing.
I respect.
I ain't a fan.
I don't mind.
See how niggas so love, man.
I'm going to just give Colorado their respect.
You know what I mean? Don't say it at all, bro. That energy is trash, man. I'm going to just give Colorado their respect.
You know what I mean?
Don't say it at all, bro.
That energy is trash, bro.
Say what real?
Yeah, that's not authentic, bro. They conference his ass.
I know, bro.
Talk about him.
Why you talking about the books, bro?
Turn up.
Put a little bass in your voice, bro.
They conference his ass, bro.
They don't play nobody.
That's the real.
That's the real.
They don't play nobody.
Mike didn't adjust his mic or nothing
if they play somebody
they play somebody
they ain't played
a top 10 team yet
uh oh
it's fine bro
we don't need to bro
we got the best quarterback
and the best
how you the best
you ain't winning
against nobody
two way player in the country
I need to see you go
against the best
when you say you the best
put us in that big
that's why when they say
Boise State running back
might win Heisman
I mean what he doing
is crazy but it's like's like he running against Pike.
Shout out to the Mount West government.
What we doing, man?
Be here in your favorite segment.
Get well soon, man.
Who needs some well wishes?
Mine is going strictly to C.J. McCollum, man.
I think, you know, only putting up five, six shots last night,
I just – I don't agree with that, bro.
Your team needs you to score.
Be aggressive, King.
You've been on pace.
You've been scoring 20-plus these previous nights.
You know what I mean?
At least get – he done got up 15 to 20 shots a game.
So, for you to only take like five or six, I ain't rolling.
We at least need 12.
Yeah, that's – like you said,
with both of them having to roll it last night,
it is kind of hard to, you know what I'm saying, get adjusted to the game. But, come on, man. We need more from you, bro. Yeah. And that's one person said with both of them having a roller last night it's kind of hard to get adjusted to the game
but come on man
we need more from you bro
and that's one person
who shoot the ball
yeah he gets them up
for us
but like
CJ almost averaged
like four steals a game
and he didn't even have
none yesterday
now he playing defense

CJ almost averaged
like four steals a game
that boy leading the league
that boy playing 2K

I think CJ y'all sleep, bro.
CJ almost averaged like two for his career, I believe.
Two or three.
Man, he be one of the best in the world, bro.
Y'all got to look it up.
I'm serious.
I really think he averaged like two for his career.
Two steals a game.
He got two.
Bro, nah.
If he got 1.5, it's cold.
Honey, these niggas don't watch the game.
We can look it up right here in his iPad.
Watch the game, bro.
Two steals a game for his career.
Yes, bro.
I think he had four the last game he just killed.
Oh, okay.
See, I know I ain't tweaking.
My iPad is blank.
I'm not saying.
My iPad ain't on.

My iPad's still locked. feel me? My house still locked
You know how to turn it
You know what I'm saying?

He ain't average no two
For his career
Right

Before you see, Jack
Yeah, he was saucing

That's worse than Rudy Yang
Better than Caron Butler
It is, though
We taking RG all day, baby
It's okay
He ain't got internet
It's like Young Thug said
Hey, man, my game will assume
It's the Yankees
Paying Austin Capricano
Yesterday
From trying to take the ball
from Mookie Betts
on the foul ball,
you are out of pocket.
That man tried to take
the glove off of this man
because he caught
the foul ball.
I need that.
It's the World Series, bro.
He damn near broke his wrist
trying to get that glove off.
I saw a clip of that
on TikTok.
I thought that was fake.
And then he looked
right there like,
what?
Ah, thanks, bro.
That's going for 200.
Bro, Steve Bartman told y'all, stay out the fucking way of a game, man.
That man tried to break Wookiee Betts' wrist, man.
And then them $1,500 tickets that he had, now he's kicked out.
Bro, that's tough.
Excuse me?
That was $8,000?
I thought it was $1,500 per game for that.
Oh, he said, excuse me, $8,000.
So he was right there on the, Jesus Christ.
He said, I'm leaving here with something, Dizell Boyce.
Now that I know he paid $8,000, I thought it was $15,000.
I'm missing $4,000.
That ain't Dizell Boyce.
Dizell Boyce talking about leaving what you talking about.
What type of girl are you talking about?
He talking about Dizell Boyce, man.
Get well soon, Yankees.
Nah, shout out to him, bro.
He tried to hurt Mookie Betts for the squad.
No, he tried to kill him, bro.
Y'all damn near got to give him some money.
Mookie Betts reverse might be messed up.
That's like what happened to Steve Barber yesterday, bro.
When he took that foul ball away, bro,
