Bishop Teague, 520 Moog.
Fellas, good morning.
How y'all doing?
What's up, bro?
Feeling, bro.
What's good?
On your side, little man.
That first 520 off the court killed me yesterday.
Man, I'm sick.
Boy, pause.
Oh, y'all.
Y'all sore pause. Man, yeah. sick. Oh, y'all sore paws.
Yeah.
You ain't got to suppose me.
I'm sore, brother.
That's real.
I forgot we worked out yesterday.
Mike, how you feeling?
Hey, that's funny.
Yeah, motherfucking made a clap in there.
I'm here.
What kind of workout do we do?
We working out with Jeff Teague and Richard Simmons.
Hey, 520 Fitness is insane.
I don't know who made that reel yesterday, but whoever chose that music, it's funny as
hell.
Shout out to the production team, man.
Love, love, gang.
Shout out to my boy, Mouth.
We went through the playlist. It's a nasty playlist. Mouth set production team, man. Love, love, gang. Shout out to my boy, Mouth. We went through the playlist.
It's a nasty playlist.
Mouth set to pick, though.
On your side of the bed.
Nah, man.
Let's get to it.
Y'all, man.
Tap into the Patreon, man.
Check out the 525.
It's hilarious, man.
Everybody in here is hurting worse than the Houston fans.
But we're going to roll the tape and start the show off, man.
Damn, man. I really can't. Pain the show off, man. Damn, man.
I really can't.
Painful to see, man.
Last possession last night of the national championship.
It goes like this.
Down two.
They can see this, Mike.
Man.
What play call is this?
Bullshit.
Shout out to the big for setting a fake screen and not doing shit else.
That nigga was supposed to set three screens, bro.
What the fuck?
Pump fake.
Ball game.
You have to pump fake, bro.
So if we could break down this play, if you can just roll it back a little bit.
One more time.
One more time.
Just to this part.
So when he drives off this pick right here, this wing,
these two bigs, number four was supposed to go further down and he supposed to
get a double screen and then another screen for this guy coming off he didn't go further enough
to sell the play and the two bigs didn't screen at all so the play was a play was done yeah and
then right here four supposed to go deep enough that post they both the bigs are screened for
him then they're doing a gate play for him.
And it was over with.
But the big guy got a run faster than that to the ball.
Yeah.
Yeah, he missed the assignment.
But at least, Paul, if he could have tipped it back to him,
they could have got a shot or a chance or something, man.
But you got to screen better right here.
You got to touch something.
Then you got to get the gate.
He didn't screen nobody.
And then he didn't go after the ball.
Man, that is tough.
And that was the conclusion.
But we're going to start from the top, from the situation.
National Championship last night.
Florida got the win over Houston yesterday.
65-63.
Will Richard of the Gators went crazy.
Kept him in the game, too, especially in the first half.
He was balling.
He had finished the game with 18-8.
Florida in the first half, man. He had 14-28. It was real ugly. Let's start there. Moog, I know you watched the game with 18-8 Florida in the first half, man.
He had 14-28.
It was real ugly.
Let's start there.
Moog, I know you watched the game.
Everybody did.
I was a little concerned about Houston's style of play in this game
because they kept trapping the ball screens.
And, you know, that's their identity.
But that kept Florida in the game.
They bigs got all easy buckets.
Yeah.
Nah, that come with you got to make adjustments, bro.
He had a game plan and he stuck to it. But, I mean, through the process of the game, you got to make adjustments, bro. He had a game plan and he stuck to it.
But, I mean, through the process of the game, you got to make adjustments, bro.
They did get, Walter Clayton wasn't scoring, but he was hitting them bigs, making them passes, bro.
And they was getting easy buckets.
And it kept them in it.
Most definitely.
Yeah, Walter Clayton, boy, he stunk it up the first half.
He did.
We thought he was going to draft King Settler last night.
Yeah, he did, but he still had like six assists, bro, in the first half.
He still did things to impact the game.
He didn't shoot the ball well, but he did other things.
Most definitely.
To have your best player probably have his worst game of the season
in the most important time and still get the dub,
that says a lot about Florida, but man.
Or it does say a lot about how Houston played.
Oh, yeah, talk about it.
Because y'all told me they were up 12 at one point.
Mm-hmm.
And for you to be trapping the ball screens and being up 12,
that means y'all was active.
Y'all had something going on.
And obviously you said the Florida Bigs were scoring,
but they took them out of their rhythm.
Juan Clayton is their guy, and he was out of that rhythm.
He was probably playing bad in the first half.
So y'all disrupted them a little bit.
But they couldn't score.
Houston couldn't score the ball
They couldn't
They could not man
The first half
I mean
And we talked about it as a whole
Look
They played very hard last night
And that was a competitive game
Last night
Regardless of how you felt
About who won
They was out there hustling
Now
And the same token
They just went
To bullshit basketball too
Bro they shot some
Terrible threes bro
Y'all
Horrible shots
Like
Not even looking
Coming off the screen Just jacking it up I'm like Bro Y'all, horrible shots. Like, not even looking, coming off the screen,
just jacking it up.
I'm like, bro, y'all are up 12.
Relax.
They play some terrible offense.
They play great defense.
We know they're going to do that.
But offensively,
that's where they lost
that game, bro.
Yeah, we're looking
at this right now.
Three-pointers.
Six for 24 from Florida.
25%.
Six for 25 from Houston.
24%.
We talked about
Walsh and Clayton's
first couple shots,
but that was all deep threes, all heat checks.
It hit the side of the backboard, other side of the rim.
It was all clink shit.
Yeah, nah.
It looked like that Arkansas game.
I forgot who they played when it was a slug fest.
Oh, St. John's?
St. John's.
It looked just like that game, bro.
Nobody can hit a shot.
They out there dialing on each other, fouling.
The same game.
25% from three for both teams is crazy, though.
But that ain't nothing but nerves.
Right.
Yeah.
Jesus.
It was shot selection, too.
Yeah, when you get nervous or scared, you shoot bad shots.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
I can't do nothing.
I'm going to just chuck this one.
I don't know what to do.
No, we're talking about it.
How was your experience?
Obviously, it's a crazy stage to play on.
We talk about the nervousness. We can't downplay that because I look at I got nervous for it.
I'm like, this stage is bright. It's a lot of people in this building, a lot of expectation.
They play on a platform. Yeah. How was that?
When you go out there and see the dome because it's a football dome, you see all the people.
It do kind of make you be like, I ain't been in front of as many people.
But once we start playing, we was I going to lie, it was easier for us because
we was up like 12 to 14.
So we knew we was in control of the game. We was going to win.
I was watching that game yesterday.
It was like a one, two point game. I'm like, this got to feel
crazy because they don't know what's about to happen.
We was prepared to win already for like the last
six minutes. We were like, we up 14, 12.
We know what's up. But when you up one or two,
that's a different feeling.
And that he chipped.
I can't imagine trying to play in front of that many people
but shooting in a dome like that?
Yeah, that perception's thrown off.
It's hard, it's hard,
because all you see is people behind.
You can see everything, it ain't like a regular gym.
So it's kind of hard.
It's like playing outside or something.
I could see why you was missing like that.
Like, when I think about it, it was like, damn.
I hit a big three.
No, no, you did. Talk about it, it was like, damn. I hit a big three. No, no.
You did.
Talk your shit, boo.
You did.
No, but I can only imagine
like even when we go
to certain arenas
and they bigger arenas
like the Clippers Arena
was bigger.
Yeah.
Staples Center, LA,
whatever, it was bigger
and it was a little harder
shooting there.
Yeah.
Especially when they had
the lights on.
Yeah.
And it's weird
because it's like
you really on a stage.
Yeah, you on a roster, bro. You on a bench, you under the court. So it's weird because it's like you really on a stage. Yeah, you're on a roster, bro.
You're on a bench, you under the court.
So it's just weird when you're up there, you're like,
I'm on top of everything, kind of like it's crazy.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's different like Vanderbilt, but bigger with the outsides with it too.
And we understand why it's a money grab because realistically,
they should be playing in a basketball facility,
but it's too much alumni space in there.
They got to get the biggest venue possible.
Yeah.
But we talk about it, but the first half, it was a tale of two halves.
The first half, it was shaky back and
forth. But that second half, I'm going to shoot
Houston some bail. Those refs,
those first five, six minutes, man,
they called like five to six fouls in a row that they didn't
call in the first half. It was different officiating that second
half for sure. And that definitely messed it up.
And that's going to always hurt Houston.
They're going to play aggressive. They're going to hit. That's how they
play. Yeah, you look at it, it's a 20-10 foul discrepancy.
That's tough in the game.
It's that scrappy for sure.
Nine more fouls.
I mean, like you said, they are aggressive teams, so they definitely got it.
But, man, I felt bad for them because that took them a minimum away.
They're up 12.
Florida got a second win after that.
And then they start getting out in transition, getting easy buckets.
Man, the refs played a big part in this game, though.
But shout out to Florida.
They did their thing.
But you got to adjust, bro, if you wanna win the game
I mean, you see they tightening up on the whistle
Y'all gotta adjust, I know this is how y'all play
But if y'all wanna win, make a move
Man, I really wanted Kevin Sampson to get one
I did too
They can run it back man
I don't know who they got
A lot of them dudes
It's 3600 people in the portal
He'll get some players He got a five star coming in that's really good know who they got. It's 3,600 people in the portal.
He'll get some players.
He got a five-star coming in that's really good.
He got a good recruiting class coming in.
I think he at least hit the four again.
It's hard to get back to that chip, bro.
Yeah. It is hard,
but I'm sorry.
Coach Cal,
since then, he's had way more
talented teams he cannot get back.
It's hard to get back to that chip, bro.
Yeah.
Yeah, bro, you got to get it done, bro.
I fell for him last night.
He should have won that one, bro.
Up 12, we got to pull that one out.
Man, think about this, man.
Florida was only ahead in this game for one minute.
For one minute, bro.
The most important minute.
Face.
I'm still, I know it was a disaster game.
I'm still blaming dude at the end.
I don't care what happened during the game, bro.
You smoked.
Yeah, Jello Ball lost him the game last night.
And then a big not hustling, bro.
At least dive on him.
Yeah, dive on him, bro.
I'll try to make it ever to tip it back.
You screwed us, Phil.
Yeah, and then you ain't set no screens.
Bro, that was crazy.
And we supposed to set four in this week-ass play?
You didn't touch nobody.
You slipped all of them.
I can't even show you this in film because it's over.
Like, damn, bro.
You know what's funny?
I thought about y'all talking about getting the ball up the court
in the inbound situation when they got to Walter Clayton
and he threw that Brett Favre pass and was out of bounds,
which should have been a travel.
It was a travel, bro.
It was dragging his feet.
But, I mean, it's tough for the ref to call that, bro.
Yeah.
I ain't calling that either.
Do your job, man.
You don't want to be in that situation. That's a hell of a call to make. Do your job. Man, that call that, bro. Yeah. I ain't calling that either. Do your job, man. You don't want to be in that situation.
That's a hell of a call to make.
Do your job.
Man, that is crazy, man.
Shout out to them for getting the chip.
I want to ask y'all this question.
You just talked about, like, getting back there is very, very hard.
What do you think is harder to get, an NBA championship
or NCAA national championship?
I think college might be a little harder because it's one game.
It's like any given night you could just lose, bro, and it's over.
At least NBA, you know, most of the time the best team going to win
because you got to beat them four times.
That's tough to do.
Like beating the Celtics four times, that's a tough task, bro.
The only thing I would say is probably harder about the NBA
is that you don't get to pick your team.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Oh, I got what you're saying.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like, when you go to college,
I'm going there.
NBA, you like,
damn, they picked me.
I'm going to the Jazz.
It's like,
Cooper Flagg don't get to pick
where he want to go.
So he going to have to go to the Jazz
and be at Jazz for 15 years.
And hopefully some people
want to come play with him.
Yeah.
College, you get. Yeah. College,
you get to pick.
You got to pick
to go to Kentucky
with the gang
and they win.
Mm.
Like,
that's the only difference.
Yeah.
Well,
yeah,
I mean,
that went,
the start of it,
the start of the career,
yes.
But the end of it,
yeah,
bro,
college,
bro.
But I'm just saying,
if you think.
Cinderella teams,
bro,
is real fun. That's a real thing
And it's a bullshit
Really to me
But it's
Can't have it bro
It's basketball
But it's a part of the sport
Yeah if somebody get high on you
It's over
It's not like
It's not really like that
No more now though
With the NIL
Yeah
It's a little
It's a little more likely
That the better teams
Are going to get to the
They should
That's like
They taking all the good players
From the Cinderella teams Yeah They going to do to the They should That's like They taking all the good players from Yeah understood The center field
The teams
Yeah
They going to do
A higher major to schools now so
Yeah speaking of NIL
I just want to shout out
Lil Tay and Nigel
They just signed with Oklahoma
Facts
Go get that chicken man
Shout out to you
Keep it going man
Nah yeah let's talk about it
We go back to schools every year
Golly
And who from Indiana is at Oklahoma?
Cause I see the vibes I'm rocking with itlly. And who from Indiana is at Oklahoma? Because I see the vibes.
I'm rocking with it.
They at where?
Oklahoma?
I just said them.
Both of them.
Tay Davis.
Yeah, he's saying who, like.
Nigel Pett.
They getting a whole bunch of players.
Yeah, who tapped into the Indiana?
Because that just went and got some boys from that.
They know the vibes.
Yeah.
It could be the Oklahoma Hoosiers if y'all want it to be.
Trey Young.
I seen him writing them.
He made the call.
Yeah.
He wrote them. He made the call. He wrote them.
He made the call.
Oh, yeah, it's locked in.
Yeah.
Okay.
Shout out to Trey Young.
That million already spent.
Okay.
Shout out to Trey Young for tapping into the home team.
Hey, my boy Nigel had the NIL early.
He was one of the first waves to it.
Keep driving, King.
Seen him in a lamb truck.
I said, oh, he getting money.
He got a lamb.
Yeah.
Way with the K-States of Miami.
Yeah.
He getting bagged up.
That's a
hell of a
place to
switch up
though.
Yeah,
leaving Miami.
Leaving Miami
to go move
to Oklahoma.
He did it
for the
basketball,
bro.
He wasn't
working out
of Miami.
He wasn't
hooping at
Miami.
He was
hooping at
K-State.
He needed
to go back
to the
country.
Yeah,
the women
look different
in Oklahoma,
so we
going to
lock in
now.
I got
money.
I bring
a party
to me.
He can leave the land, but he don't need that in Oklahoma. I bring a party to me. He can leave the land, man.
He don't need that in Oklahoma.
Yeah, I just fly him, too.
We need you a Ford pickup.
No, for sure.
Y'all see Florida, we're back to Kansas.
Yeah, the money got good again.
That's crazy.
It made sense, bro.
You spent the year there.
You know the culture, bro.
Run it back.
You'll be all right.
If y'all coach, well, y'all are, I'm saying, a college coach and a kid,
here's the portal.
Are y'all welcoming him back if it don't work out for him in the portal?
If he good.
I'm here to win, bro.
If he good enough and he come back, it is what it is, bro.
I get it.
It's a business, bro.
Because as a coach, if I got a chance to leave for a better deal, I'm probably
going to think about it too. No, I'm like
a buddy from St. John's.
Rick Pitino, you hit the portal with me
you're done. Cal said that too.
But I guarantee you if the right
person hit the portal and want to come back, they're going
to let him bro. So I said if Anthony Davis
would have hit the portal and said, matter of fact, I want to come back.
Cal's not going to tell him no bro. I'm nothing.
Lying because you second guessed me,
bro.
So?
Because whatever you wanted,
all you had to say,
whatever you wanted,
all you had to say was,
I want to be here,
but I want another million dollars
and I could have worked it out.
Now I got a question for that.
But now you ain't get that million.
You like,
hey coach,
I'll still take that 800
you was going to give me.
Yeah.
Nah,
now it's only 400.
So now what you want? Oh, wait. T, cut it in half. Yeah. Are you was gonna give me yeah no now it's only 400 so now what you want i'm still worth this 800 bro just because i didn't want to stay here
you gonna cut my paper like what yeah because now now they ain't looking that green for you
out there you thought it was nah it wasn't that i just realized this was the best situation for
me so i came back.
I just test the waters.
Yeah, you should have tested draft.
Don't test another school.
I think a couple, and I said that.
I'm glad you said that, bro.
I said that like on what bro's saying.
Like, if you test the draft, I'm cool with it.
And they say, hey, you're not projected to go first round.
Bro, I told you.
But come on back, my nigga.
I love you. Now, if you trying to go to Marqu I told you But come on back my nigga I love you
Yeah
Now if you trying to go to
Marquette
You done turned them
Into the ops
I hate them and you
So y'all gotta figure it out bro
Yeah y'all gonna have to
Work that together
It's a million other colleges bro
Go get that 800 somewhere else
Now if you go to the ops school
I feel you
Like if you go to rival school
That's a wild shit
Y'all saying that
Until the people y'all
Receiving
Ain't better than that person
Then y'all be like Ah is that the downside be like, I probably do need to get him back.
Nah, you wouldn't.
You wouldn't lock him in like that.
I probably need to get him back.
You was already plotting on my down.
We would have been sad.
In the middle of the year, at some point in your head, you said, man, I don't fuck with this.
I can't wait to hit the portal.
Bro, every basketball player that said that at some point in the season.
I don't fuck with this team.
Look at Brady.
First week of practice. Brady didn't hit the portal. We had a kid. No. I don't fuck with this team. Look at Brady. First week of practice.
Brady hit the portal.
We had a kid tell us,
I don't like y'all, bro.
It happens, bro.
That's true.
It happens, bro.
That's why he acting
like that today.
Nah, I'm just...
He the reason.
I'm just saying
if you look at people,
like, it's a bunch of guys.
Like, the kid from Notre Dame,
he averaged 23 a game
or whatever he was doing. Yeah. Immediately, he like... I know the coach with him was like, if you look at people, it's a bunch of guys. The kid from Notre Dame, he averaged 23 a game or whatever he was doing.
Yeah.
Immediately, he like – I know the coach with him was like,
what you need to stay?
He probably was like, hey, just give me an extra whatever it is,
and I'm locked in.
It wasn't no – and he could have hit the portal and probably got paid.
Yeah.
But he like, I'm here.
I'm locked in.
I like that.
But to have – coach, I don't know.
I don't know.
Are you going to be back? Yes or no? I don't know. I't know are you going to be back yes or no
I don't know
I think I'm going to
try some stuff out
go ahead bro
I get what you're saying
I ain't got time for that bro
you got me in here
is he on the team or not
nah bro
just go ahead bro
now I got to ask you
this question
if he comes to you
and say alright
I'm at 500
coach I'm looking for 8
if you say
I'm nothing
and he go hit the portal
are you out of pocket for that
Cause if you say
Hey we all know
If I go eight bro
If I need eight bro
Let me test the water
Since you ain't fucking with it
Nah you negotiating
Nah
If I don't think you worth
Eight hundred for me
I'ma say
Oh you think you worth
Eight hundred
Go ahead bud
Go get that
I think he's saying
Let me give me a chance
To work something out for you
Before you sell on me
But that's what I'm saying
Now if I come to you first
And say hey coach
I'm at five
I'm looking for eight
Can we work it out
I respect that And if I say no You know come to you first As an eight coach I'm at five I'm looking for eight Can we work it out I respect that
And if I say no
You know you're not coming back
Because you ain't worth eight to me
Alright but what if he come back
And be like
Alright just give me six
No I said
Whatever I offered
You said I ain't worth eight
But obviously when you negotiate
You gonna give him a number back
Like I want eight
He be like
Well you more like at 650 for us And he like Nah I ain eight. He's like, well, you're more like at $650 for us. And he's like, nah, I ain't
rocking with $650. Okay, we'll buy.
I'm saying if he go test the waters,
can he come back and be like, can I get the six
though? Or is it just over?
No, it's over. As soon as you try to leave, it's over.
Yeah, because I offered you $650
and you wasn't messing with me. I'm more of an
$800,000 kind of player.
Well, my budget was $650.
It ain't going to ever go over to $800,000.
They budget is $800,000.
I had you already pulled.
I seen what you play like.
You're not $800,000 worthy to me.
If you was that, I would have been like, yeah, that's what you need.
We here.
Right.
You see Notre Dame?
They like, yeah, you worth whatever we got for you.
We going to make sure you keep it.
See, this is the good in college sports now, bro.
The coach don't got all the power.
It's even now. We're on the same playing field. Technically, this is the good in college sports now, bro. The coach don't got all the power. It's even now.
We're on the same playing field.
Technically, he do got the power.
Kinda.
Because I can ruin your value anyway.
Because I can sit you.
I can sit you.
You see what Rick Barnes is on.
He said, oh, he's not playing like a million dollar player today.
I love that.
To me, I love that, bro.
Because you got to keep a fire lit under these kids, bro.
Now you do.
If you, In the NBA
And
And Jeff told me
This a long time ago
I ain't gonna name
The player
You know what I mean
All y'all can hope
But
To me
They was out of pocket
But they said bro
He a first round pick
Lottery
I have to play him bro
I have to give him
A chance bro
In college
Nigga
You just got some money
I ain't gotta do
a motherfucking thing.
That's a fact.
So that's what bro said.
Like,
I can really put you
as the 12th man
on this motherfucker
and you won't.
Because coaches ain't really,
they gonna ask about you,
but it's like,
shit,
we ain't about to give you
a million just because
they gave you a million
your sophomore year
because, nigga,
you didn't play.
So you definitely
a high risk to take on,
for real.
And that's interesting
you say that, say that Because this morning
10 a.m.
Igor Denim
Has an announcement
To see if he's going
To go back to BYU
Or go to the NBA
And I was like
That's crazy
That he's having
A press release for this
Yeah I mean
He's a lottery pick
I mean
You know
A top pick
In the draft
Like first round
I should say
I don't know
If he's going to be
Lottery
They got him
Projected to lottery
But I think
I think BYU
Trying to get the NIL
Rights to keep him
Next year with AJ
I mean that wouldn't Be a bad idea I mean He probably worth About, but I think BYU trying to get the NIL rights to keep him next year with AJ. I mean, that wouldn't be a
bad idea. I mean, he probably worth about
a couple million at BYU,
but I don't even think
he ready for the NBA, though.
Lottery? Or go back to college? That don't even make
sense, though. I don't think
he...
He not from here.
So, you know what I mean? I don't know if he like...
I don't know if that was his focus.
Like, I'm about to go to the league.
He might be like, yeah, I was enjoying, you know what I mean?
But I go to the league.
He go to BYU.
That boy from Russia.
He was enjoying America.
He go to BYU.
He ain't enjoying nothing, bro.
Soak him might be a little different, bro.
Go to the league, bro.
Wait till you get shit.
When that guy protected going to any of them cities,
boy, you got new ones Gonna lose your mind
San Antonio
He gonna lock right in
He gonna lock right in
He gonna feel right at home
I really could see him
Getting drafted by San Antonio
But if I was him
I would go to the league
Just because
Next year might not be
The same results
You might not be that guy
I could see if it was
End of the first
He's lotto bro
You have to go to the league
And AJ
He's getting hooped too
AJ
We gotta use a different
Draft board too
Cause I looked at this yesterday
And Ian Jackson Is definitely in the portal He's in the portal I was about we gotta use a different draft board too cause I looked at this yesterday and Ian Jackson
is definitely in the portal
he's in the portal
I was about to say that
Ian Jackson's in the portal
he ain't going to the league
nah
I don't think that
survives right now
he did have a good
second half of the year
I think he gonna work out
for some teams
let's see
and then
he can say he in the
transfer portal
not the draft
and portal
transfer
I'm trying to test the
waters and transfer he didn't say that no we't I'm trying to test the waters And transfer
He didn't say that
No we didn't see that part
Obviously we'll get some more updates
So far all we've seen
Is that he's just in the portal
I just
Ian I rock with you
It's not cause I'm a UNC fan
But unless it was some other stuff
Going on bro
I feel like you should've stayed
Nah UNC is trash
You get the fuck away from there bro
But it's about to be his
Nah bro he should've
Dude gone
Yeah
I told him he shouldn't Have never went there bro He should've been at like St. It's about to be his. Nah, bro. He should've. Dude gone? Yeah. I told him he shouldn't
have never went there,
bro.
He should've been
at like St. John's,
bro.
Yes,
bro.
He at East Coast.
He would've liked St. John's.
Yeah,
he at East Coast.
He from New York.
Nah,
he's pure New York.
Yeah,
he New York.
He supposed to go
somewhere that they
understand you.
Like,
North Carolina,
a pretty school.
Like,
he grimy.
You see,
hair dirty.
Like,
I don't care. I'm ready to go. Like, I'm grimy. You see, hair dirty.
I don't care.
I'm ready to go.
I'm grimy.
They too cute at North Carolina.
One thing about
Rick Pitino,
he make you play defense,
but he don't care
what you do on offense.
Nah.
And that's him.
Go who?
That's him.
He should have been
at St. John's, bro.
And you see,
all Pitino got
is all shooters.
So yeah, bro,
go there.
It talks about
potentially Arkansas.
Hell yeah.
Yeah.
You get them high ball screens, you can just go shoot whenever you want to.
He ain't going to be missing them layups.
They was missing the tournament.
Yeah.
He grimy.
He need to go somewhere that was grimy.
Carolina, too, like.
It just sounded good.
System and pretty and run the lane.
And it ain't no one that done school.
Going to North Carolina just sounds good because it's North Carolina.
I never liked players.
I didn't either.
I never wanted to go there.
I never liked North Carolina. The colors was fire damn they shouldn't know your
school no i'm like i'm letting niggas breathe i get it bro like as a fan of north carolina all
that it sounds good it wasn't even i wasn't even a fan it was more like jordan like you just wanted
to wear the jordans the colors was fire like but if you go look at people that go play at carolina
they were i wasn't no carolina type of guy like i ain't play at Carolina, I wasn't no Carolina type of guy.
Like, I ain't running the lane, and I ain't no Wayne Ellington type of dude.
No, straight away, Ellington, but.
Shout out to my boy, Young Marshall.
Wayne Ellington.
For y'all personal description of the type of players y'all are, I agree.
Neither one of you.
And people.
Yeah.
Don't fit that culture.
Y'all are.
I don't. I don't fit that culture. I. I don't fit that culture. Y'all are. I don't.
I don't fit that culture.
I'm not a gump.
No.
Y'all are, you know,
African American college players.
Yeah.
You said HBCU players?
I was an HBCU type of.
Yeah, they are.
Gremlin, Howard, Southern.
Like, when I used to watch, like,
like Vince Carter and them was cold.
All them teams, they had great players.
But I used to look at them
And be like
Yeah I
That's a system
I couldn't be
Coaching
Like Duke
Smacking the ground
I could never
Yeah
I would've messed Duke up
I see y'all
First nigga
I see y'all at UConn
Over
Yeah
I was at UConn
Talking with y'all
Both of y'all for sure
We ain't wearing
None of the team shoes They had me believing I was going to UConn Since I was UConn Both of y'all for sure We ain't wearing None of the team shoes
They had me believing
I was going to UConn
Since I was 10
Yeah
You going to UConn
You going to UConn
Yeah
That would have been
One of your top schools
Bro that's where
I always wanted to go
They put it
They had that
In my brain bro
From day one
Oh wow
To real
Outside of
Obviously Kentucky
What schools did you think
I know you heard
It said a little bit
About Cincinnati
Was there another school
That kind of got you?
Because I know it didn't mean everybody recruits you.
Nah, I wanted to go to Cincinnati and then Kentucky.
That's it.
Damn.
Yeah.
Yeah, you'd have been far.
Did either one of y'all get a UNC offer?
I did.
He did.
Okay.
I ain't paying no attention.
That's crazy.
I mean, I did.
I respect it, bro.
Nah, for sure.
And then our favorite
Chad Beckham
Mazzara
Auburn
He says he running back
At Auburn
Is he going somewhere else
Man boy go home
That boy
30 years old
I'm tired
He my least favorite
College player
I'm tired of him bro
This is what I'm talking about
What
I'm not saying this to him
But y'all
Old buddy
You about to
Bounce for him Why not If y'all Old buddy You about to bounce for him
Why not
If y'all want him to play
At least he can hoop bro
Yeah
He didn't average 21 to 15
Never
But he played on that stage already bro
Tell me where he started school at
Let me see
He played on the stage bro
He went to Duquesne
Hold on
He went to go
He went to that school
He previously played
For the Duquesne.
Yeah, San Diego State.
Northwest.
Northwest Florida State, Kyler.
That's where he started out at.
He probably started there.
That's where he started at, Northwest.
Oh, he started at Northwest, then went to San Diego State, Duquesne,
and now he at Auburn.
That's too many schools, bro.
And he 25.
He took another year.
And you hating on my nigga that sat out 12 years and came and averaged 21 and 15.
Bro, why did you sit out for 12 years?
Because you're on man.
You retired early.
What's his stats right here?
That's your fault.
What's Chad Baker's stats?
Good call, two years.
What is his stats?
There's 15.
It's quiet.
12, bro.
How tall is he?
6'7".
Oh, out of pocket.
Three rebounds
ineligible bro
he's a shooter
hit the glass bro
alright so
who were the ones
between him and Jamal Gibson
Jamal
kill him bro
kill Jamal Gibson
cab
I'm sleeping
Jamal Gibson
JT all the way
14 and 8 bro
I need a jersey B
I respect his story
Jamal Gibson
14 and 8 bro
I'm averaging 21 to 15 and I respect his story. Jamal gets him 14 and 8, bro.
I'm averaging 21 to 15, and I never hooped.
I'm not hooping to no nigga with face tags, bro.
There's no way.
Be careful, bro. That's the whole world.
No, I don't see no other hoopers with face tags.
Not one.
I'm different, bro.
ESPN, we need a picture.
It don't matter, bro.
We ain't got a new one yet.
Can't get you a picture, bro.
We saw his highlights, bro.
They was assy.
Malcolm shot that shit
Terrible
On his iPhone bro
He should've
Malcolm ain't that big
He didn't bring
The highlights
Bro
People was DMing me
They was like
You tell Mookie
You better chill out
So I'm
I'm praying lightly
Cause bros
Like he
He get active bro
Get it bro
And that's the problem
He try to change
His life or something So I believe in love I respect his story bro. And that's the problem. He trying to change his life or something.
So I believe in love.
I respect his story, bro.
I do.
He's talking basketball, bro.
For sure.
Bringing it back to the game, Todd Golden, the coach of the Gators,
the youngest coach to win the chips is Jimmy Valvano at 39.
I was looking at the stats yesterday.
He was 39, and then Kelvin was 69.
I'm like, damn.
Yeah, it's amazing that Kelvin Still going at 69
Pulse but like
That's a wild age
That's a good number
The realest
That's a wild age
Ricky Kel
Put that on the headband
You know it's really
Like a young man sport
Cause you can relate
More to the kids
Like
I'm happy
I'm
You know happy for him
That he's able to adapt
To these environments
With the NIL
And paying kids
Cause he grew up In an era where Like I seen an interview with him he was talking about i grew
i was born in 55 i remember segregation and stuff like that he like damn like you are old as shit
but to say that it's like with jesse he definitely grew up bro. But to say that. He grew up with Jesse.
He definitely grew up with them.
But to say that.
At that point,
we were in a two-man game back in the day.
Nah, hell no.
He wasn't fucking with them.
He wasn't fucking with them.
That's why you caught Coach.
He old, too, bro.
The girls.
Oh, yeah.
Gino.
He's old.
But to see them adapt
to the environment
where they got to pay kids
and they doing it
at a high level,
it's kind of cool
because most people
don't adapt well to it.
Like you see Coach K
like up or out.
Straight up.
Who else left?
Roy Williams.
That shit was hard
for Mike Woodson.
Even though he never
coached college basketball,
but that old school way
just ain't it, bro.
Nah.
And his old school plays
wasn't it.
He was still posting up
every other play.
What's all,
Leonard Hamilton?
Remember they had
an obligation
to get paid?
He said, you know what?
Y'all got this shit.
Yeah, I couldn't even pay you.
Jay Little Niggas.
Man, I'm going from Miami, too.
Jay Little Niggas.
Yeah, he quit.
He was sick of them niggas, though.
He said, I'm paying you, and y'all sad.
He was sick of them niggas.
I'm paying these sad motherfuckers.
I had better teams than George Mason.
Thanks.
He was popping his shit.
That's real talk, though.
He said, I'm going home, bro. I can't.
I remember me and bro talking about that. I said, bro,
he's sick of this. He's like, I gotta pay
y'all. I'm going home. It's too much pressure.
Y'all not good. Remember Mick Cronin?
He was spitting up. He said, hey, y'all weak as hell.
Yeah. He said, y'all soft.
Coach is an airbag. He said, y'all
soft. I'm the only one that's motivated.
I have the most energy. I hate
this program.
He definitely hit him with I hate this church. It's motivated. I have the most energy. I hate this program. He definitely hit him, but I hate this church.
The same thing they do for Maryland.
There was a coach of Illinois now.
He said, we don't have any resources.
We don't have any money.
I'm ready to get the fuck on.
He said, I can't stay an extra night in New York.
I'm leaving.
I can't do this.
He's trying to get something shaking out there.
I feel him, though.
Not even get something shaking, but like, dang, we got to go right home.
I'm with my kids on Christmas, bro.
The team is out here.
They gaming with their family.
Hey, that is crazy.
You tell them we try to stay in the night seat.
Hey, we can't afford that one.
Swipe your whole car.
That's what Mike do to us.
That extra four times.
Y'all want first class
He hit you with a side text
He don't do that with me
He don't do that with me
You want this middle seat
I said I got a Z
I'm not going
I got a Z you 500
He don't watch when I help bring it to the small market
That's what I love That's what I love with the world I'm not going bro I helped bring it to the small market.
I'm not going, bro.
I feel you, coach.
Hey, I watched the Milli Vanilli documentary yesterday,
and I was cracking up.
It was just like,
I got all these records,
and I got to fly coach.
I was like,
game is game.
They deserve to fly coach. They wouldn't even sing in their records. They was the top five is game. Hey, that's great. They deserve to block us.
They wouldn't even sing in their records.
They was the top five
pump face of all time,
bro.
Some of the biggest cap
I've ever seen in my life.
But why did they want
them to sing the records?
They look weird.
They was getting
the hoes, bro.
They was getting
the hoes on the beach, bro.
What make it funnier is
they was like,
no,
we gonna sing our shit.
And everybody was like,
nigga, no.
Y'all can't sing it.

Across the country, cops called this taser the revolution.
But not everyone was convinced it was that simple.
Cops believed everything that taser told them.

We are back.
In a big way.
In a very big way.
Real people, real perspectives.
This is kind of star-studded a little bit, man.
We got Ricky Williams, NFL player, Heisman Trophy winner.
It's just a compassionate choice to allow players all reasonable means to care for themselves.
Music stars Marcus King, John Osborne from Brothers Osborne.
We have this misunderstanding of what this quote-unquote drug man.

Man, let's get to some NBA action, man, for sure. We'll be right back. the clip, please, man. Zach LaVine been going crazy. Like you said, Mook, on a back-to-back? Killing, bro.
Just balled out before?
Killing, bro.
He's a bucket.
Yeah.
Are the Kings making a...
Making some noise.
Have they found a recipe
for their team?
Yeah, that just said,
let's just play out the Bulls,
but in the West.
Let's give Zach LaVine
the ball.
Yeah, yeah.
Let's Zach LaVine
and DeMar DeRozan
shoot every time.
We all right. Yeah, like, do we just and DeMar DeRozan every time. We all right.
Yeah, like, do we just build our team around them?
And, like, I mean, what more are y'all going to do?
Why not?
I mean, because you still got Malik Monk and all these guys.
It's a bonus.
Yeah, Malik Monk was hired for De'Aaron Fox.
He's going to probably be up out of there next year.
And I like Malik Monk.
I love his game.
He's one of my favorite cosplayers of all time, actually.
But it's a little different.
We look at it where it is right now.
Hey, man, we talked about it yesterday.
I don't know if the Grizzlies want to see two people like that.
Because I don't think the Grizzlies got two players who can get 80.
Obviously, them two can.
And they still got Sabonis.
Come on, bro.
I like the Kings over the Grizzlies.
I ain't going to lie.
That's a tough, tough spot.
But like we said with the game yesterday, the Rosen had 37-4.
Sabonis had 19 15 and 10
with a trippy dub yesterday kind of bought out as usual with 35 and 5 but man three straight games
in a row they got a chance to win that playing game for sure man yeah they starting to catch
a stride at the right time like when you get your team when they hot and the Grizzlies going through
a little turmoil that's not a good matchup right now I'll tell you right now if the Kings beat the
Grizz I mean Beat the Grizzlies
I mean beat the Grizzlies
In the play in
Yeah
There's some people
On that team
That won't be there next year
And either it'll be
Triple J or Jai
Nah
It's gonna be D-Bang
Or
They gonna
They can't let
Triple J and Jai leave
The city would be
It's already a shaky
Basketball city
Yeah
Like
If we being real
They got good fans
and good support.
Memphis is a cool place to play.
Like,
if you go to the games,
the crowd is great.
But if you let both,
like one of them go,
especially Ja,
nah, bro.
Ain't nobody going to them games.
Somebody would love
to get Desmond Baines,
boy.
Boy, wouldn't they?
And he be hooping too.
A lot when Ja's been injured a lot.
He's always helped
carry the ship for sure.
May not always been wins,
but he held it down
Marvin Bagley
I was about to say that
They got Marvin Bagley
What happened
What do G.G. Jackson
Be doing
He hurt
He just came back
Out of the G League
I don't know what's
Going on with him
Where's Concar
He be playing
He was like
When I was scouting
He was like one of the most
Sought after players
I played with him
I think he got traded
Yeah I was going to say
He was always somebody
Who was always That was looking to have As an added piece was going to say, he was always somebody who was always looking to have
as an added piece in the trade for sure.
It was always respect for him.
He was super salt after.
Like, people were like,
we can get him.
I'm like, him?
That motherfucker,
like, he sell insurance.
This dude.
I know what you're about to say,
so insurance was definitely one.
He knew though.
He like.
Have you seen him before?
Yeah. I thought you were about to say he owned like a Jordan's Fish. He knew, though. He like. Have you seen him before? Yeah.
I thought you were about to say he owned like a Jordan's Fish and Chicken or something.
I was like, damn, that makes sense.
Nah.
Him and Landry Shaman, bro, first team, all corner store for sure.
Damn.
Yeah.
He didn't get no tickets today.
He didn't have a hot season.
Bro, you know, bro, it's so bad.
When he got drafted, I mean, some one of the kids got drafted on my team.
I don't even know which one it was.
But he went up to him in the store and was like, what's up, man?
Like, talking to him.
He thought he was a fan.
Like, yeah, what's good, bro?
He was on the squad.
Really?
Yeah, what up, man?
And dude, Concar dude was like recording.
His girl was recording the interaction.
Dude thought he was a fan.
So he seen him at the gym.
Yeah.
I said, bro, you hoop here? Hey, you got me fucked up. You hoop here Hey you gotta be fucked up
You hoop here
I ain't been employed here
Before you were bro
Actually I'm on an
Eight million dollar deal
That's crazy
But shout out to the
Kingsman head of the business
Pistons
Listen
Y'all been talking
Y'all shit all year
It's not looking bright
Right now man
Y'all first round matchup
Looking like y'all
Could lose either way
Y'all definitely Don't want the Kn'all definitely don't want the Knicks.
Yeah, they don't want the Knicks.
I'm comfortable with them playing the Knicks, though.
I feel like this is a good year for the Pistons no matter what.
Oh, yeah, great year.
They made the playoffs.
Big turnaround, 41 season compared to what they did last year.
Facts.
They can't drop to that seventh seed, though.
I mean, they probably won't, but.
That's sweet.
It's cool playing the Knicks.
I ain't tripping.
Man.
I don't care who it is.
They don't want to play
the Bucs right now.
Giannis done figured it out.
Y'all,
Giannis is locked in.
I don't think y'all
want to play them.
So do we like this Giannis
better without Dame?
Oof.
No, I never.
Damian Lillard,
I'm going to go out on record
and say he's like literally
my favorite point guard in the NBA.
He is cool.
No knock to Dane.
I'm just saying
Giannis is playing real well.
He is playing real.
He just gets to do everything.
That's how Giannis
really want to play.
He just say,
you know how some people
be like, I need help.
Nah, he really don't want help.
He just want good quality
players around him.
He don't want a star around him.
Him and Joker kind of the same, bro.
They could just do everything.
Yeah.
But I'm telling you right now, if Joker had a Damian Lillard, he would be very happy.
Because he know how to play like that.
He a little more.
He's more of a team player.
Yeah.
Let's say it.
That's just cool.
Yeah.
He cool with 20, 10, 10.
Giannis will take 40, 10, 5.
You know what I mean?
Joker doing this because he has to. If he didn't have to, he'd be like, cool, I, 10. Giannis will take 40, 10, 5. You know what I mean? Like, Joker doing this because he has to.
If he didn't have to, I'd take 23.
He don't even want to win MVP, bro.
Yeah.
He already won a chip.
What else do y'all want me to do in this league, bro?
I'd really be killing, bro.
I don't have nothing to say to y'all, bro.
But I don't see him playing 20 years in the NBA.
But I hope Damian Lillard play because Damian Lillard, he's literally
my favorite point guard to watch.
I love Steph.
I love Kyrie. But I just like
watching Damian play.
One of the best to do it, man. We haven't heard
any updates, but I hope he is doing well.
The blood clots are very, very serious.
Outside of basketball alone, just for general health for sure.
We'll be looking out for that as well.
Moving on, the Heat took care of the 76 yesterday.
1-17, 1-05.
Our guy went crazy yesterday, Quinn Grimes, 29-8-6.
He always going to kill.
He is the one, not the two.
Matter of fact, build Philly around Quinn Grimes.
Let's go.
Damn.
Nah, he really is better.
I'm wilding, but he really is better than Paul George right now.
I'm not, bro. He's a better player
than Paul George right now, bro.
I'm never ever going to say he's better.
Oh, you tweaking. I'm not saying that.
He's playing better than Paul George. Let's go.
Right now, I swear to
God, when Paul George was playing, he could not get
43. We used to,
it was games beginning to be like, bro, everybody's sitting out.
PG, you got to go for 30.
Am I not lying?
You're not lying, though, bro, because you're telling the truth with that.
But you are putting too much smut on PG.
It ain't no smut because we know PG is a Hall of Famer.
I'm talking about right now.
Current Paul George.
Not Paul George with the Pacers.
If Paul George was healthy, listen, if Paul
George was healthy and body feeling
good to play, Quinn Grimes,
I thought that was Jared
Allen at first. You a killer,
bro. But it's quiet.
It's quiet. You don't do nothing
better than Paul George, bro. Right now,
he moving. Paul George don't move.
He old. Paul George 35?
He 35? Probably, bro. Like, Paul George 35? He 35?
Probably.
Like, follow Tom
Kitchell with you.
I'm not hating on
PG.
PG.
You're not hating
on me, bro.
I'm just talking
about right now.
I'm just killing.
Right now,
Quinn Grimes
probably 25.
Hey, what's
crazy is how
Quinn Grimes
24.
I'm not going,
bro.
Bro, y'all wildin'.
Hey, now go to
the stats again.
This is funny.
Obviously, they're
all losses.
Look at this last
five games.
29, 28, 24, 26, 15.
Let's go.
The thing about what's killing right now is there's no pressure.
They know they're not going to win.
So, you can just go out there and shoot.
That's my whole point. Do whatever you want.
It wasn't no pressure when Paul George was playing.
They've been assed.
No, they've been assed the whole year.
But they still.
He had been saying it like we've been assed the whole year.
They is.
But Paul George playing just makes them feel like we should been asked the whole year. They is, but Paul George playing
just make them feel like
we should at least
be close or winning.
No, bro.
He was getting eight points, bro.
It was moments where we like
Kelly Oubre is better
than Paul George.
Hey, on me,
Jerry McCain was balling.
We like,
Jerry McCain is hooping.
Paul George gotta help
Jerry McCain.
He's not giving Jerry nothing.
I'm saying the same shit.
You right.
I'm just saying,
Paul George being on the court,
his name alone just make people feel bad. We gotta be okay. Yeah, his name. But I'm saying the same shit. You're right. I'm just saying, Paul George being on the court, his name alone just makes people feel bad.
We got to be okay.
Yeah, his name.
But I'm saying his play right now.
And he was hurt.
Whatever it was.
He had an injury earlier.
So I'm just saying, this year alone,
Quinn Grimes is better than Paul George.
He's playing better than him.
Let me ask you this question.
But I'm not saying he's better.
We got to put some emphasis.
But that's what I'm talking about this year.
Look, Paul George with the Pacers, he's a good player.
No, bro. I'm just saying, if Look Paul George with the Pacers No bro
I'm just saying
If Paul George was healthy
Seriously
If he was healthy
I wouldn't give a damn
What Quinn Grimes did bro
You're not better than me fam
And that's okay
But I disrespect
The best two guard in the NBA right now
Let's go to their guards right now
Next year they gotta make a decision
You got Jerry McCain
You got Quinn Grimes
Tyrese Maxey PG You starting Obviously starting Tyrese Maxey Let's go up to their guards right now. You got, next year, they got to make a decision. You got Jerry McCain. You got Quentin Grimes.
Tyrese Maxey,
PG.
You starting?
Obviously,
starting Tyrese Maxey.
You going to start PG,
but I'm taking Kelly Ruber out the lineup.
Let's quit PG.
I mean,
they pay him 500 million.
You going to start Strington?
I'm going to start him
over Quentin Grimes
over Kelly Ruber.
For real.
Like,
all right, Kelly R Oubre Just you know
Six minutes
Paul George played a three
Me up
And then I'm going with
I have to find me a four
Whoever that four is
I don't even know
And if MB ever play basketball again
Nah seriously
What's craziest
Shout out to Lonnie Walker man
Back in the league for sure
He had a hell of a journey this year
He had 29 yesterday
Duncan Robinson had 21.
Your favorite white boy, Tyler Hero, had 20.
And Khalil Ware balled out with 19 and 17, man.
The Heat playing a little bit better right now.
Can that make any noise?
Let's see where they stand right now.
Who they would attend.
So they would be playing the magic.
Oh, yeah, that might be built to ask for sure.
I'll take the Heat.
But they could win. I'm my the heat. But they could win.
I'm my mama.
Yeah, they could.
But back to what we were saying about Quentin Grimes, like,
this is some real shit.
He always been a quality player.
Yeah.
Nah, he has.
He always been, like, solid.
He just never got a chance to do this shit.
He's a good player, bro.
He's a real good player.
And I think this is going to spark him to be something else.
Because when you get a chance to, when you feel like I can score every night,
your confidence goes to a different level.
Like, to use myself as an example, when we played in the lockout year
and we played them three games in a row and people wasn't playing,
it just was confidence builder for me.
Like, damn, boys really ain't like that.
I get to shoot – if I get to shoot 10 times a game, I'm all right.
Now you seen it.
You can't really man now.
I seen it already.
So who was he like?
Spencer Dinwiddie?
Nah, he like a real two guard.
Like Spencer Dinwiddie was a combo.
He like, I really get buckets.
Like if you go look back at him like in high school and stuff.
He was at McDonald's and all that. He went to Kansas first. Like I really get buckets Like if you go look back at him Like in high school and stuff Yeah He was at McDonald's and all that
He went to Kansas first
Like I really
Get 30 a game
I ain't gonna lie
I watched the game
Against the Heat
He really is killing
Like it looked good
Like he's hooping
He is hooping
I mean which is crazy
Cause due to injuries
Philly is a sad team
But should he go to another
Like sad team
And get paid
And go ball out
Like go be there
Two option on no team
Look at all the bottom
teams in the NBA.
He should stay in Philly
and Philly should play him
in Paul George.
McCain should be backup.
Kelly Wilbur
should be a backup.
They got it.
He's showing you
I'm good.
And we know he can play
winning basketball
because he played
on some good teams.
Yeah, yeah.
He's in Dallas
and the Knicks.
For sure.
And I can guard.
I ain't bad on defense. I like him, man. I like Nick's. For sure. And I can guard. Like, I ain't bad on defense.
I like him, man.
I do too.
I like him too.
I would never say
that I like him.
We just got to draw a line.
That's it, my nigga.
That's all.
Shout out to the best
two-guard in the NBA, man.
Quinn Grimes.
Nick Nurse.
It's his job on the line.
Yes.
Get Nick Nurse out of here.
One of my own.
Nah, he built a bad hand
this year.
Yeah, I can't put
too much more on him
Cause then
What do you do?
Bring Mark Jackson in man
I'll take Taylor Jenkins
For Philly job over
Nick Nurse right now
I'm surprised Taylor Jenkins
Ain't got a job now
I like that
I know we gonna hear
Some back end conversation soon
But I'm surprised
He ain't in agreement
With somebody bro
Yeah it's either
He need to go there
I don't know what they doing
In San Antonio
I don't know if they doing in San Antonio.
I don't know if Pop coming back
or whatever it is.
So I'm going to
just leave that alone.
But I can see him there.
Chicago.
San Antonio
without Pop
is crazy.
Yeah.
Sound right.
That's crazy.
I mean,
shit,
we look at the tournament.
It was kind of hard
not even hearing much
from Dick Patel.
It's just unfortunate
it's time.
He'll be brown with tires to change into guards, man. He'll be of hard not even hearing much from Dick Patel. Like, it's just unfortunate it's time. Like, Hubie Brown retired.
Should change him to guards, man.
Hubie Brown was the best, man.
The GOAT, bro.
Learned a lot of basketball from Hubie Brown, bro.
One of the best to do it.
Super Chat asks, am I tripping if I say Kawhi or KD right now in all time?
Yes.
Yeah, you tripping, boy.
You smoking good, though.
And Kawhi's one of the best.
But that's Kevin Durant.
No disrespect.
There's nobody at small forward that's more talented than Kevin Durant
Besides LeBron
I don't know what you put LeBron as
Yeah
Yeah we got Rob with KD
Yeah
But Kawhi's a champion man
Yeah I don't know
That champion shit don't really mean nothing
I'm a champion
Fuck that mean
You a champion?
Shit
Hold on bro
What do you mean
What are you talking about?
Shit mean a lot
Give me individual accolades
YouTube Whatever we streaming on,
when I talk about winning,
and it don't mean nothing,
you know,
be here, play, you don't know,
raise a banner and do all that dumb ass shit.
I've never said that.
But this dick here.
No, like I said,
I'll go all the way back.
Bro, they only won 70 games, bro.
How can we make this nigga an awesome player? No, no, I'm talking about championships.
I'm saying you gotta be, you have to be
a contender. That matters, bro.
You have to be a contender.
Quentin Grimes averaging 25
on a side team really don't matter. I'm just talking
shit. But I'm saying Kawhi Leonard, bro,
is a big focal point of the
championships in both teams that he won for.
So you can't say it on me.
KD got rings, too. is a big focal point of the championships in both teams that he won for. So you can't say it don't mean anything.
KD got rings too.
I'm saying KD got rings too.
But what I'm saying is I think Kawhi's
more meaningful.
Y'all know how I feel
about KD.
KD over all these niggas.
I agree with that.
But Kawhi
winning the championships
were more meaningful
than KD's.
Were they?
I mean,
he got a ring.
He won a championship
in Toronto, bro.
They never win again. Won the under league as far. I pull up one year and got a ring He won a Toronto He got a championship In Toronto bro Never win again
One down the league
As far
I pull up one year
Get a ring
I get the same team
As DeMar DeRozan
That he been trying
To win with for 12 years
I've been here
One season
Put the context out there
Put the context
Injuries
People got injuries
But you also
Didn't run into LeBron James
True
DeMar DeRozan
And them would have Made it to the finals Five years in a row They just kept run To LeBron James True The Martiros And them would have made
To the finals
Five years in a row
They just kept running
To LeBron
That's a fact
So like
We would have made the finals
If we didn't run to LeBron
But I won
And I don't know
If they would have beat
That West Coast team
If they would have made it
If everybody was hurt
If KD turned his Achilles
Oh they got swept
But
They all got hurt
So he won
I'm not
I shouldn't say I wish
But if that scenario was our
team steph curry is the only one playing we win the game katie hurt clay thompson hurt we win
they had the whole team the raptors would got sweat but it didn't happen
i'm saying like when it comes to this Of greatness Okay I feel like When you that high
Yeah when you that high
On greatness
I don't give a damn about y'all
I need your individual accolades
Like
Respect
You see D-Wade
Try to say the championship
With James Harden and stuff
It's like
Yeah
I get it
But y'all so high on the podium
Yeah
And he like
I sacrificed my greatness
For championships
Shouldn't have did that Well I mean Ain't nobody's fault You're charged Yeah. Shouldn't have did that, bro.
I mean.
Ain't nobody's fault.
You're a chore.
Yeah.
You made a choice.
You shouldn't have did that.
You made a choice.
Don't cry about it now, bro.
It's true.
I could average 40, but we don't know.
Right.
He did average 40.
You know what I mean?
We don't know.
We've seen your abilities, but we just don't know.
And championships is cool, and you get to celebrate them.
But once you're done playing, who really remembers but you and your guys yeah yeah like don't nobody know like who won the
championship in 1987 d-way gotta understand that we think that's what y'all was born bro i was
yeah like i don't give a damn i don't care like d-way we know you cold. I don't care. You know what I'm saying? We know you cold. Yeah, like, I don't care.
But if you tell me Magic Johnson was cold, I'm going to say, yeah, Magic Johnson was cold.
He's trying to shoot a trivia question.
I'm just saying, who cares?
Like, who won the final with 0-1?
Who was the champ?
Lakers.
I don't know.
No, it was the Spurs.
See what I'm saying?
No, it was the Lakers.
It was the Lakers.
I'm talking shit, bro.
That was supposed to be Spurs, right?
Yeah.
But who do you care?
98. Bulls. 99. Who won it? Shaq care shit, bro. But who do you care? 98.
Bulls.
99.
Who wouldn't care?
99, that was definitely the San Antonio Spurs.
Tim Duncan was 34 his rookie season.
Killing niggas.
Now I remember that for sure.
But do y'all care?
No.
No.
Unless you're a fan.
No.
Tim Duncan, bro, entered the league rookie year.
He was the oldest nigga damn near in the NBA rookie season, bro.
It killed him.
Who won at 07?
99, I remember that for sure.
07 was first.
Bro, he was a normal stick
and went back to school.
Ain't cold.
Ain't cold, bro.
He was a four-year player, bro.
He was number one pick
all four years.
That's why they say
I'm a Cooper flag.
Think about it.
You still didn't do anything.
He was number one pick
All four years
You know what's crazy
Congratulations
Hey wait
Shout out to Wade man
But shout out to Parker
For even asking him to come back
Cause y'all ain't put no
Banners over him in there
For y'all to be
Wasting his time like that bro
Nah he wanted to come back
He told his mom
His mom said he couldn't
Go to the NBA
Till he graduated
And Rick Pitino
My nigga TBD
Got the madrass now
Boy shit different
Nah he looking
different out here

uh
respect the Tim Duncan
man I
I rock with Tim
respect Tim
probably the best
power forward of all time
is
he really probably
one of the best
like top five players
of all time
but
yeah he just ain't loud
yeah
for sure
he really like
people never say it
but he like better than Kevin Garnett I'm not mad he really like people never say it but he like better
than Kevin Garnett
I'm not mad at that
but people never say that
because
we love Ticket
personality
yeah
and his game
was probably a little bit
more relatable
yeah
it was flat
it was like exciting
yeah
scream
dunk
Tim Duncan was legit
yes bro
off the glass bro
middies
and he rocked with different teams down there every year.
All right, let's see his top three right here.
Let's see how y'all feel.
KG, Dirk, Tim Duncan.
I'm taking Tim, number one.
Yeah, I'm taking Tim, too.
Nah, who you taking after that?
KG.
Yeah.
Then I'll take Dirk.
Woo!
I'm not mad at either conversation, but...
Dirk closer to KG than people want to believe, bro. Dirk... It's very close. Oh, I'm not mad at either Conversation but Dirk closer to KG Than people
Want to believe bro
Dirk
Is very close
Oh I'm not saying
These is all
Hall of Famers
Yeah
First ballot
Hall of Famers
Stars
Generational talents
That we talking about
He probably got the best
Finals run
Dirk
He had to smack
A lot of good teams
In the west
To get that shit
It's him and Kawhi
With the best finals run
I ain't mad at that
Hell nah
Kawhi didn't play nobody in the finals.
Kawhi put on a show, though.
He pulled up to a seat that wasn't his, bro.
Got on it and dipped out.
Bro, that's elite.
Anthony Davis.
Mike said Anthony Davis.
Top five?
He ain't up there yet in top three.
He far away from them.
Anthony Davis behind Charles Bark.
He far from them.
Kevin right there. Way behind. I'm not going to say he's behind Carmelo.. He far from now. Kevin Garnett was the first thing I seen.
I'm not going to be behind Carmelo.
He way behind Carmelo.
Chris Webber up there, but KG was like the first big man that I saw play PG.
Anthony Davis better than Chris Webber.
And he led his team towards the finals.
That's not a disrespect.
Damn, Kevin Garnett is tough for me, man.
He had some shitty, shitty squads, bro.
Still hoot.
KG was cold, though. Man, KG was that nigga, bro me, man. He had some shitty, shitty squads, bro. Yeah, who? KG was cold, though.
Man, KG was that nigga, bro.
KG was cold.
Kevin Love up there.
Shout out to Kevin Love.
Who better?
Kevin Love or Pau Gasol?
Man, I don't care
about either one of them.
I'm saying K.
K. Love of Minnesota

Killer.
I'm going to say Pau Gasol.
Pau Gasol.
That's just for the chat, man.

I know a lot of cops, and they get asked all the time, have you ever had to shoot your gun?
Sometimes the answer is yes. But there's a company dedicated to a future where the answer will always be no. Across the country, cops called this taser the revolution. But not everyone was convinced it was that simple.
Cops believed everything that taser told them.

I'm Michael Kassin, founder and CEO of 3C Ventures and your guide on good company,
the podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next.
In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi, for a conversation that's anything but ordinary. We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche into
mainstream gold, connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen.
What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core. It's this idea that there are so many stories out
there, and if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content,
the term that we always hear from our audience is that they feel seen.
Get a front row seat to where media, marketing, technology, entertainment, and sports collide.
And hear how leaders like Anjali are carving out space
and shaking things up a bit in the most crowded of markets.

book, Runs in the Family, an incredible true story of football, fatherhood and belonging written with and about Las Vegas Raiders running backs coach Dylan McCullough.
It's the story of a football coach and father of four who sees his life forever changed by the unsealing of his adoption records.
And it's got a twist you won't believe.
Based on the viral ESPN story I did a few years ago, this book will blow your mind and bring you to tears. Buy Runs in the Family wherever books are sold. This is an iHeart Podcast.
