Good morning. Happy Friday. It's 520 in the morning.
We're here to keep you up to date on everything in the sports world, especially basketball.
My name is DJ Wells. I'm the host. I got my same co-hosts up here with me this morning.
To my left, I got Bishop Henders. To my right, I got T. Fellas, how y'all doing this morning?
Chilling, bro. Let's get to it. All my life, I just wanted to get munched.
We ain't recorded on the Friday yet. This is a different type of morning story, huh?
It facts, bro. But listen, man, Thursday night football was crazy last night.
Bengals versus Ravens, always a good game. Divisional game. Man,
34-35, almost went
to OT thriller, man. Did y'all catch the game last night?
Yeah, just bits and pieces of it,
though. A little bit of it, you know what I mean?
I'm a fan of Jamar Chase,
Burrow, Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry,
so it was a good game,
entertaining game. Listen, man, Ravens got another
dub, and in due fashion, they always come back,
man. At one point, this game was 21-7
in favor of the Bengals.
They came back and made it 28-21.
Seesaw game, crazy
game. Everybody was getting to it yesterday.
First and foremost, man, I got to show some love to Joe Burrow.
I always very critical of Joe Burrow on this show
because I think he slides when the other quarterbacks
get a lot of flack, but yesterday he did his thing. He had four TDs.
Three of them went to Jamar Chase.
Jamar Chase is one of those guys.
He's one of those
Randy Moss,
Hall of Fame type receivers
that we always talk about.
For real, bro.
He's a talent.
I mean, like he said,
I'm always open.
All the talented receivers say that.
Hey, 11 catches for 264 yards
and three TDs.
Like, I'm like that.
Man.
Nah, he cold.
I just didn't know he was going to say
Randy Moss is crazy. I mean, he's one of them talents that's going, he cold. I just didn't know he was going to say Randy Moss. It's crazy.
I mean, he's one of them talents that's going to be a Hall of Famer.
Putting me to upper echelon?
You don't think so?
I respect that.
Nah, he's going to be a Hall of Famer, but Randy is kind of like,
you got to treat Randy Moss like you treat Jordan, Tom Brady.
Like, you don't kind of mention, you know, too many people with them.
We here right now, Randy the GOAT.
Wide receiver?
Or your GOAT I mean
Randy Moss
my favorite
football player
that boy got so many
you know
nah he is my favorite
football player
that's the jersey I got
you seen we got
football jerks
from Mitchell and that
shout out to the family
I got Randy Moss
you got
Julius Peppers
nah
Lawrence Taylor is my favorite football player of all time.
I see the video.
He sent me the wrestler.
What's his name?
Cocaine.
This fool sent me a video of a wrestler doing coke.
He said he just pulled out an eight ball.
That was his finishing move.
Hey, I'm just saying.
The coke slam.
That wrestler shit's a joke, bro.
Anyways, man, y'all crazy.
Listen, man, they had a hell of a game plan,
but not to skip too fast forward,
because Lamar Jackson did what he does,
you know what I'm saying, 290, three tuds,
excuse me, four tuds.
Now, my question is, you know,
end of the game, Jamar Chase, five-yard pass,
you know what I'm saying,
to put them in a position
to see if they can go ahead and get that.
They go for the two-point to win, and he don't get the ball.
And if you look at the coverage, people say, you know, they would have been tough for him to get it to him.
But at the same time, you know, at the end of the game, you got your best players.
How do you counteract that?
I know from a basketball standpoint, but from a coaching standpoint, was Burr out of pocket for not trying to get him the ball?
I mean, sometimes you got to be a decoy. I think everybody in the arena, the stadium,
everybody watching across the world
knew the ball was going to Jamar Chase.
I mean, he been killing the whole game.
They just scored a touchdown going to him.
Two-point conversion.
You probably think they're going to Jamar Chase.
They probably tried to use him as a decoy.
And it didn't plan out.
But like he said, he's always open.
Always open.
But it's funny that you said it because we talk about
the decoy situation. I know it's not
close enough in the same example, but you see what happened
with Super Bowl with Marshawn. I didn't get it.
Same thing, though.
Different times, of course, but...
More important ways, of course, of the situation.
Give me the pill, bro. Give me the pill.
Take me
trying to catch the ball
over whoever he threw it to, but I'm killing, bro to catch the ball over, you know, whoever he threw it to.
But I'm killing, bro.
Feed the high hand.
I guess my question is, I mean, in result, you didn't get it, obviously.
Would that have felt better if it was even forced to him to try to make the play?
I mean, I understand.
Like, if they went after him and was like, well, he's been killing the whole game and they did it,
it wouldn't have been a problem.
I mean.
Y'all say it anyway.
I mean, it really't have been a problem. I mean... Y'all say it anyway. I mean,
it really would have been a problem.
If he would have tried
to force it to him,
it wouldn't have been a problem
unless somebody else
was wide, wide, wide open
and they would have said something.
But the fact that nobody was open
and he didn't go to him,
now it's a problem.
Yeah, I guess.
It's all the intricacies
of the blame game.
When you lose,
because obviously your bro
made that call
and that convert,
then it's a whole
totally different conversation with the W for sure.
But hell of a game at Thursday Night Football.
And it came a long way because we've been getting a lot of mid-matchups.
But we're getting back to the basketball world.
Listen, we never record on a Friday.
So we're going to break down some teams.
First things first, man.
Let's start off with the Los Angeles Lakers, man.
They had a high start, 3-0.
And now they have lost three of the last four.
Early in the season, I know it ain't 10 games in,
but who we blaming?
You know, this is LeBron James' team, so the blame
will come out early. Well, we got to start
with, I'm not going to put any blame,
but J.J. Reddick came out and said the other
day that you got to play like the old
man and basically
kind of alienating Bron. Like,
he's playing great. He's playing great in that game
and kind of like telling everybody else to pick it up. I don't think that's the way to go about it Like, he's playing great. He's playing great in that game. And kind of like
telling everybody else
to pick it up.
I don't think that's
the way to go about it.
We all know Brian great.
that's some big shoes
to fill for everybody
trying to be like Brian.
AD's been playing
great this year.
But,
obviously,
he's been switching
the lineups.
He's been doing
all kinds of stuff.
Cam Reddish
came in the game.
Now he's in the rotation.
Connect started
starting at one point.
I don't know
what's going on
with the Lakers.
I guess they're trying
to find the identity again.
But you got to start
with J.J. Reddick,
I guess.
Most definitely.
I'm going to go through
a couple options
and let me know
how y'all feel about it.
Let's start with the bench.
Like you said,
there's been a lot
of different combinations,
some uncertainties
in the lineup.
But as a solidarity standpoint,
I don't think the bench
has been as productive
as they probably would have
liked with these young pieces.
Is that something they need to upgrade or even can they afford to upgrade that?
Get rid of D-Lo, man.
Get rid of D-Lo.
Did y'all see when D-Lo shot that corner three?
I think I blocked somebody that wanted it.
I got tip-possed.
Wait, JJ Redick's face was crazy.
JJ was pissed.
It's time to go, bro.
Yeah, I mean, he hasn't had a good tenure with the Lakers.
Yeah, it's time to go, bro.
Yeah, but then we also have the same conversation
when it comes to playing with LeBron.
Okay, what point guard do you put next to him?
You got to have somebody who don't give a damn.
You can't have anybody who cares.
I don't think D-Lo cares,
but I don't think he got the credentials
and the...
Style of play.
And the, like the,
I'm not going to say the clout,
but the clout to be like,
I don't give a damn what LeBron's talking about.
Yeah.
Like Kyrie had the clout,
the credentials to be like,
yeah, I don't give a fuck.
And Bron respected Kyrie game so much
that he would let him be him.
Yeah.
I don't know if he respect D-Lo game that much.
Like, sometimes when D-Lo shoot, if you watch the game or some of the shots he take,
Ryan be like, he start doing that shit.
He would never do that with Kyrie.
I think he truly believe Kyrie can make all those shots.
Sometimes I don't believe he think D-Lo can make those.
I 100% agree.
Even in this art situation, like with Rui early on in the game,
he's like, I'm on a heater right now.
Like, swing that shit. You can tell he's like, I'm on a heater right now. Swing that shit.
You can tell he's like,
all right,
I rock with y'all,
but y'all ain't got
the accomplishments.
I don't trust y'all enough
to really just be doing
what y'all want to be doing.
That's a fact.
He only really trusts
AD and probably Brownie.
For sure.
But I got to ask,
is that because,
you know what I'm saying,
obviously with him
being a team for so long,
he come from the old NBA
where everybody
can't just do that.
But nowadays,
you got people
coming off the bench,
six, seven, eight men.
They might get up
six or seven threes
and that'd just be
the offense for the night.
Yeah.
You can tell how much
he trusts Austin Reeves.
Yeah.
For some reason,
he fuck with Austin Reeves.
I mean, Austin Reeves
is a good player.
He code.
But I think he believes
he can make that shot
or he can do that.
It's something that he does
in practice or the work
he put in to make Brian
like, yeah,
I fuck with that.
But some of the other guys, I don't know if he rocking with all of them.
Or at some point, bro, just say fuck it and start putting the confidence
in your players, bro.
You too old to be pouting, bro.
B-Lo going to shoot his shot.
B-Lo going to shoot his shots, bro.
You know he going to tweak out, but they just say we got the next one
instead of just tripping all the time.
I don't like that part about Brian.
I agree.
And I think another thing is, like you said,
if you're not going to be able to move nobody, this is who you're stuck with.
So at this point, yeah, you know what it is.
Lock in, bro.
You're trying to win, bro.
Just lock in.
What do you think?
I mean, obviously, we know LeBron's on.
But do you think that the Lakers are a contender in the West?
I never did.
They built a team to contend in the West. I never did. They built a team to contend in the West.
I never did.
Nah.
They coming to Puerto Rico with us.
One, two, three.
I'm just saying, while we hooping, though, let's make the best of it, bro.
Who getting the flights, bro?
It's too long, bro.
I ain't got it.
GD Buss?
I never liked it.
I never liked it.
I told you Ben Simmons was getting the flights, bro.
I never liked their team, man.
I don't like his way it's set up.
I don't like D'Angelo Russell with that team.
Rui's a good player. I like him on that team, but I don't like his way of setup. I don't like D'Angelo Russell with that team. Rui's a good player.
I like him on that team, but
I don't like him as a focal point, like a starter.
I like him coming off the bench getting buckets.
They just need some more solid role players.
Maybe some more veterans, or
I don't know. I don't like the Lakers.
I ain't gonna lie. It's a weird roster,
because if you look at it from a defensive standpoint, you got AD
who could possibly be a DPO I can't ever hear, but
right now they're 28.
LeBron does not should be expected to be playing real defense at 65 years old.
So you got the wings like Cam Reddish,
who you expect to come off the pitch to play defense.
He ain't did much.
We ain't seen Jerry Vanderbilt yet.
So it's like, okay, the things that y'all were identified as that made y'all successful, y'all don't have that,
and you have pieces that y'all seem unsatisfied about.
What do they do?
They just don't have no solid role players.
I mean, Austin Reeves is a good player.
Cam Reddish, we all want so much more from Cam Reddish.
We all think he could be really good,
but it's that potential thing.
And I think he didn't run out of potential.
I mean, he got to start delivering.
But I mean, a good defender,
but offensively, he gives you nothing right now.
Yeah, even with players like Gabe Vincent,
they expected to come there and be able to shoot three at a high volume. It hasn't quite worked out you nothing right now. Yeah, even with players like Gabe, Vince, they expected to come there
and be able to shoot three at a high volume.
It hasn't quite worked out the way it did.
I told you, I'm asleep on Gabe.
Bring Bronny up, man.
I told you.
Bronny is in South Bay.
I mean, for now, but he's suiting up when they play Philly.
Like, we're playing JV and varsity.
Like Max Christie, two-quarters JV, three-quarters varsity.
Bronny got the best restriction for JV.
It's crazy.
Like, Max Christie, though, like, he got paid.
You know what I mean?
We talked about him getting some money, and I just don't see it.
I ain't hating, man.
I just don't see it.
I wasn't hating.
I just knew.
I'm like, it's not wrong playing Bronny, bro.
We're a rebuilding team, bro.
Let the show begin, bro. Yeah, bro. I'm all in on the Bronny's not wrong playing Bronny, bro. We're a rebuilding team, bro. Let the show begin, bro.
Yeah, bro.
I'm all in on the Bronny, bro.
Play Bronny, bro.
You're right.
Bro, like, seriously.
Man, if they start playing Bronny for real, for real, bro, free LeBron.
I'm going to start the chess, bro.
Free Bron, bro.
We sad.
We sad, bro.
We are sad for real.
We are sad with two superstars.
LeBron should not be at the end of his career, bro. Playing for this type of play, bro.
Why, bro?
You asked him to come here.
Let's keep it real.
You asked for your son to come here.
Touche.
So let's play it out.
Let's rock out.
Y'all the weak team of the league, for sure.
Because to me, to have two superstars is, I don't know, bro.
Y'all should be kicking ass, bro.
At that caliber, y'all should be kicking ass, bro. At that caliber,
y'all should be kicking ass.
Y'all not even going to be
a top five seed in the West.
Nah.
I mean, they help.
They surround and help, man.
That does matter, bro.
The role players, they not.
That shit matters, bro.
But they good enough, bro.
I don't know.
Hey, you know what's funny?
It was just like,
what if we get to a point
where LeBron got to do,
LeBron got to do
every other point guard he played with and get him traded.
He get Bronny drafted and then traded.
Bronny, that'd be the craziest thing to possible.
Nah, let me get some tick before you trade me though.
You know what?
They probably can't trade nobody because everybody going to ask for Bronny in the trade.
You know what I mean?
We trying to get rid of D-Lo.
We'll put Bronny in there.
We'll take D-Lo.
For sure.
Since we got drafted, we got to trade for him. Yeah, they going to be stuck with D-Lo. We going to get rid of D-Lo. We'll put Bronny in there and we'll take D-Lo. For sure. Since we got drafted,
we got to trade for him.
Yeah, they going to be stuck with D-Lo.
They going to get Bronny anyway.
How many years is on D-Lo contract?
Do y'all know?
Like two?
Get him out of there though, man.
Not offhand.
He need to go.
I think he only have one,
if I'm correct,
because I think he had a one plus one.
He a good player, man.
He just got to go somewhere else, man.
The Lakers ain't for him, man.
Like, Lakers need like, Dame Lillard.
I mean, I know I'm, like, going crazy.
Like, that's a lot of money to get Dame.
But Dame, Brian will respect Dame.
You already seen him.
He's like, if I had a Dame Lillard, you know what I'd do?
Yeah, so if he had, like, a player like Dame or something,
then he would be willing to, like, oh, you can shoot that shot.
I know you can make it.
You a Hall of Famer.
He'd have more respect.
You see how he treated Rondo when Doe was there.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Awesome respect.
Yeah.
That makes sense, though.
They need a point guard like that.
Shit.
I don't know if there's any more of those in the league,
but just somebody that can facilitate, man.
D-Lo trying to score 20, y'all.
That's what he trying to do.
He don't care about winning, bro.
Yeah.
And last knowledge before we get out of here.
JJ Reddy, you said his coaching effect,
I know he's still mowing it out.
Do you think there's something he could do differently
to kind of help with this team?
Or does he think that the relationship with him
and D-Lo need to change?
Because if they're going to be stuck with D-Lo,
they got to figure it out.
But I feel like if he's doing that,
that could be a confidence situation again
or an unbelief situation.
If your coach don't believe you and Brian don't believe you, but you're still
stuck here, now you ain't getting nothing out of him.
I think JJ is super
competitive.
As a first-year coach, I mean, my first-year
coach in high school,
you are so competitive, and you know how you will handle
things. You know how you will compete.
When you see somebody have that same
talent level, or even more athleticism,
or whatever, and you're like, man, you should use it differently.
You should compete like this.
And they don't.
It's a little frustrating.
So I think he's learning that now.
Like, shit, if you had the heart I had, like, that's probably what he's saying.
If you play, like, all the talent and skill you have, you have my heart, you'll be great.
But it don't work like that.
For sure.
Makes sense.
Speaking of great coaching, man, the Cavaliers, 9-0, best start in franchise history.
Are they the best team
in the East?
I guess for now.
The Cavs,
the best team in the East
right now,
yes.
Overall,
it's to be determined.
I'm just happy
the way they play.
I enjoy watching
Kenny coach that group.
It's a good group.
I don't know if they're the best team in the East.
Okay, okay.
Versus the Warriors.
You know what I'm saying?
Warriors 71 tied in the first in the West with your sons, man.
The OKC.
Are they the best team in the West?
The Warriors?
Of course not.
They are the Tim Tebow of the league right now.
Why?
You're going to put Tim Tebow's smoke with Steph Curry point guard on that team.
So disrespectful.
Oh, yeah.
Because 18, they're not winning nothing.
Trace, you know we love you nasty,
but you can come to Puerto Rico too.
It's over with.
Where are y'all staying at?
It's 82.
We can get an Airbnb somewhere.
It's 82 games in the season, bro.
We're on game eight.
I'm not putting the Warriors
nowhere near in the top five seed
in the West, bro.
Nah, the Warriors going to be
a top five seed in the West. I. Nah, the Warriors gonna be a top five seed
in the West.
I mean, it's a big game
tonight.
Very big game.
It's rare for us to say
that the Cavs and
or the Cavs and Warriors
is a big game
in these last couple of years.
I mean, they both been.
I mean, the Cavs been good,
but the Warriors been,
I guess, okay.
So for them to be back
at the top,
like the old days with Bron
and Steph going at it
to have the Cavs and the Warriors
being a big game,
that's pretty dope.
And what's crazy,
during that time period,
I mean, even though a lot of people
started seeing LeBron in the finals
and kind of not breaking up,
but they had some classic battles.
Like, even if you go to the holiday games,
like that Christmas game
where Kenny first came
is one of the craziest holiday games
of all time.
Yeah.
The Cavs and the Warriors
got a dope history.
But it's a new regime.
I mean, new coaches.
Kenny used to be in on the Warriors
staff last year. For him to be
having the success he's having right now,
I bet it's probably a good feeling for
Steve Kerr and everybody else with the Warriors too, though.
For sure. Y'all got winning that game, man.

Sometimes the answer is yes.
But there's a company dedicated to a future

Across the country, cops called this taser the revolution.
But not everyone was convinced it was that simple.
Cops believed everything that taser told them.

We are back.
In a big way.
In a very big way.
Real people, real perspectives.
This is kind of star-studded a little bit, man.
We got Ricky Williams, NFL player, Heisman Trophy winner. It's just a compassionate choice to allow players all
reasonable means to care for themselves.
Music stars Marcus King,
John Osborne from Brothers Osborne.
We have this misunderstanding
of what this quote-unquote
drug ban.
Benny the Butcher. Brent Smith from Shinedown.
We got B-Real from Cypress Hill.
NHL enforcer Riley Cote.
Marine Corvette.
MMA fighter Liz Karamush.
What we're doing now isn't working, and we need to change things.
Stories matter, and it brings a face to them.
It makes it real.

I'm Michael Kassin, founder and CEO of 3C Ventures,

the podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next. In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood,
CEO of Tubi, for a conversation that's anything but ordinary. We dive into the competitive world
of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream gold, connecting audiences
with stories that truly make them feel seen.
What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core. It's this idea that there are so many stories out there, and if you can find a way to curate
and help the right person discover the right content, the term that we always hear from
our audience is that they feel seen.
Get a front row seat to where media, marketing, technology, entertainment,

And hear how leaders like Anjali
are carving out space

in the most crowded of markets.
Listen to Good Company
on the iHeartRadio app,
Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm taking stretch and I'm stretching company, bro.
That's crazy.
Why you call them stretch, bro?
Because the game I used to play when I played video games, bro.
NBA Streaks, bro.
Everybody's talking about
they want you to play 2K, man.
They want me to teach you
how to play 2K.
Yeah, I got to set up
the streaming room
so I can get on, bro.
I got a bunch of supporters, bro.
They want me to stream.
We got to go find you.
You know what's crazy?
I made your bill last night, Paul. I made a five of supporters, bro. They want me to stream. We got to go find you. You know what's crazy? I made your bill last night, Paul.
I made a five-tenth point guard with no athleticism.
High pass.
Good defense.
You know who your bill was?
Who?
Khalid El-Amin.
I'm going to kill you.
Mateen Cleaves, Khalid El-Amin.
Yeah, they was on Twitter calling you Raymond Felton.
That's what they was on.
Somebody said,
Oliver Miller with handles.
Nah,
everybody on my Twitter
though was telling me like,
bro,
you should start streaming
for real.
I think,
you know,
yo.
They'll call you
Tractor Trailer,
bro.
Yeah,
he out of pocket.
I'm on you,
you know.
I tap in for you.
We're going to start
GoFundMe for VC.
Let's tap in for real. I know it's still early, but right now, I'm not even missing know I tap in for you we're gonna start GoFundMe for VC we'll tap in for real I know it's still early
but right now
Donovan Mitchell
and Darius Gard
best duo in the league
oh
that's a good argument though
shout out to Lou Will
you know what I'm saying
on the show
he said that
yeah
right now man
they both
the most
I'd probably say
they're the best duo
right now
they playing the best
I mean team rolling
I mean but
I still like the
Giannis and Dame even though they're not winning best. I mean, team rolling. I mean, but I still like the Giannis and Dame,
even though they're not winning.
Both of them are producing.
Most definitely.
I don't know if they're the best duo, but they're winning, so.
I'd give it to them right now, for sure.
I had to think on them.
But yeah, so far as how they're playing and got their team rocking,
they got it for sure.
Then who the second best?
I mean, I still think the first is JB and JT right now.
Okay.
Yeah, I still got respect.
I know JB been out, but I mean, I saw what they did when they was together.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I got respect.
That's a good call.
It's still ugly right now, but I got to commit what they're doing
because the Cavs don't win the close games because they were losing last year.
For sure.
So, got to show some love there too.
But obviously, I think it's just early season luck.
You know what I'm saying?
You think they're going to fizzle out.
You feel like this is something that could sustain the whole year
I ain't saying they gotta
be number one in the East
but do you think they
could finish top three
possibly
that'd be okay
that'd be okay
cause my favorite duo
is you know
Shaq and Kobe
who is that
the worst duo
they are
my boys figured it out
we five and three baby
the worst duo
we figured it out
y'all wanna bet on
when we play the Cavs
yeah who was in the Cavs 100 bet on when we play the Cavs?
Yeah. Who was in the Cavs?
100.
100 apiece.
I got the Cavs.
For sure.
You got the Cavs?
Donovan Mitchell better than me.
Okay.
This is on wax.
Say that again?
Donovan Mitchell better.
He better than me.
That's why he laughing.
That's why he laughing.
I'm rolling with Don, man.
That's sweet tea.
The double cup got him wilder today.
That's the NCG cup
Yeah
Top of the top
I probably would have
Been cremated
So y'all
It's on wax
No Rihanna
It's on wax
Warriors
I mean the Wolves
Versus the Cavs
I got down to this
Luis
You just
Hey
Luis
I ain't never seen
AE go for 45 in the bubble
Man stop bro
We ain't playing the bubble
I ain't seeing it We was in a different for 45 in the bubble. Man, stop, bro. We ain't playing the bubble.
We was in a different bubble in 2020.
What you talking about?
A bubble caprice, man.
He was in a different bubble.
He ain't left the bubble.
He was in a bubble caprice.
We was cracking shit in COVID.
I ain't stop.
Listen, send a video.
Oh, this ain't 520.
My bad, y'all.
It's Friday.
Bonus episode because we love y'all.
Nah, for real, though.
Hey, low-key, Donovan Mitchell is just as good as AE, bro.
Sleep, bro.
Sleep.
Why not?
I'm sleepy.
It's wicked.
Well, he don't do that. I like the conversation.
What did AE do better than Donovan Mitchell?
I think that AE is a better defender than Donovan Mitchell.
And he's more explosive.
What?
Ooh, that's tough. That's tough. What? Ooh, that's tough.
That's tough, bro.
Ooh, that's tough.
The body bags that Ed has racked up in his short amount of time in the NBA, bro,
is different, bro.
When Anthony Edwards go to the paint, it's not the same.
Early Utah Jazz, Donovan Mitchell, of course.
Done contests.
But he's more relaxed score now, bro.
He ain't punching like that no more, bro.
I'm just keeping it real.
Donovan Mitchell gets just as much buckets as AE.
AE just talking.
He more likable.
He got more swag, more likable.
Sound like a better 2K build to me.
Nah, Donovan Mitchell just like a 2K.
I mean, you know, just get his business done.
He don't talk much.
He just be chilling.
Get into it.
You know, he grew up a little different.
Okay, like on the Jamie Foxx show.
It was two stars on there, bro.
Braxton and Jamie.
Nah, you're not going to do my man diving like that.
Donovan Mitchell is Braxton Harden.
I like the stats.
Uh-oh.
Braxton P. Harden is Donovan Mitchell.
I can't see that for him.
Anthony Edwards.
The fact that guy got to zoom in so he can see like this is crazy.
Maybe I wear glasses.
What we doing?
So he averaged 31 or what's that?
That's minutes.
24 and 23.
Come on, man.
What we talking about?
Career stats?
I'm telling y'all, bro.
I know basketball, bro.
I mean, you played it.
I'm just saying.
It just looked good, bro.
Has Donovan ever made it to let his team to the Eastern Conference
or Western Conference Finals?
I don't know if they made it.
They had some good teams, though.
Utah had some good years.
Is that where Brigham Young is?
I mean, shit, if I had a Rudy Gobert.
Shout out to Brandon Davies.
If I had a Rudy Gobert, a Cat.
Shout out to Cats, too.
A Cat, a Mike Conley.
He did have them.
He ain't had Cat, though. He had a cat.
He had a cat.
He didn't have Rudy Go-
He didn't have Rudy Go-
He didn't have Rudy Go-Bear and Mike Conley.
He had a cat.
And they was trash, bro.
They just blew it at the fleet against the Nuggets.
They ain't have a cat, bro.
No, listen.
Donald Mitchell had a cat in them, bro. Why the Warriors? If Donovan Mitchell
had cat in them, bro.
Why the Minnesota Timberwolves
was so good last year, bro,
is because I told y'all,
Anthony Edwards got that
John Morant effect, bro,
to his team.
I'm not saying he don't.
That shit matters.
I say he more likable,
but I'm just saying
he's definitely more like a star.
As a basketball player.
Hold on, girl.
I'll call you back.
That's what I'm saying.
I'm serious.
She meddling like I
like
like I was saying
payday Friday
when it come
to them as
individual players bro
Donovan Mitchell
shoot way better
than Edwards
he just has
explosive
no not no more
Donovan
Donovan is a
he get
he get
he ain't catch
niggas like he did
I ain't see I love AE game but I ain't catch niggas like he did in his home. I love
AE game, but I ain't seen AE
have that back and forth like Murray
and Donovan Mitchell had. The back
and forth? Nah, I ain't seen that yet.
Bro, stop playing
so much, bro. Not to that level, but he went
to KD, but just not to that level where it was mono and mono
like that. Stop playing so much, bro. But that was a legendary
matchup between them two for sure. Come on, bro.
That was one of the best things we ever seen on TV, bro. Come on, bro. I'm serious, bro. You don't like that so much, bro. But that was a legendary matchup between them two for sure. That was one of the best things we ever seen on TV, bro.
Come on, bro.
I'm serious, bro.
That wasn't?
It was good for the sport, bro.
Yeah.
Anthony Edwards every day.
We look at the stats right now.
Pure dog.
He averaged 23 for his career.
He averaged 24.
Listen, bro.
Dang, you're 25.
He been in the league longer.
And he was the number one pick.
That's what make it worse.
That's your team.
He was the 13th pick.
So what?
You still a lottery? Yeah, but that ain't your team. When was the 13th pick. So what? You still a lottery?
Yeah, but that ain't your team.
I went number one for a reason, though.
Don't sleep.
I came in number one, and I was that nigga.
You was.
What was you talking about?
But he is, too, I guess.
I told you.
It's Jamie Foxx.
You got Braxton P. Harnedbrick.
I love Braxton.
One of the funniest motherfuckers on that show.
But Jamie is the star, bro.
I shoot the three better than you.
I shoot from the field better than you. I shoot from the field
better than you.
And my free throw
is higher than you.
My effective field goal
is higher than yours.
He said, which field?
Which field you shooting?
On and off.
What are you talking about?
You just from Atlanta, bro.
You from Atlanta.
Listen, we're going to let y'all
argue about this in the competition.
This is going to be a funny,
real if they ever make it this,
but I want to move on
from this subject
and want to ask y'all,
is there any off-season trades
that, you know what I'm saying,
we're looking at early in the season,
any teams that missed,
like some teams
who should have made some additions
that didn't
or that made the wrong ones?
You're looking here,
like maybe with the Heat,
talking about Jimmy Butler,
you know,
talking about Giannis possibly moving on.
Is there any trades
y'all see early on happening
or some teams that y'all feel like
should have got more work done
in the off-season?
Yeah, I'm pissed.
P.J. Tucker's still not
in the NBA, bro.
Okay.
Shout out to P, man.
He's supposed to be
on my burnout crash out
bets every night.
So,
I don't know when
the deadline is
when you got to pick
a motherfucker up,
but P.J.,
I got you.
We're going to put up
you on this show.
Draft games,
going to make sure
he get on the team
just so he can
have your parlay.
Come on, bro. It's crazy. Go. Yeah, bro. Come on, bro.
It's crazy.
Go to the Lakers.
They sad, bro.
You want to fix the Lakers with P.J. Tucker?
Come on, man.
Cam Reddick sent him to this.
I love people.
He don't fit the script.
But they need, bro.
He don't fit the script.
They don't need a 3 and D.
You crazy.
They don't need D.
Pause.
The 3. I don't know
if he shoot him no more, man. Man, he cornered
three specials. They don't got nobody sitting in the corner, bro.
Yeah, they do. Yeah, they do.
That's all they got. No, they don't, bro.
They need a P.J.
Okay, so outside of P.J., anybody else?
I don't care about nobody else. Y'all got it.
I mean, it's still early.
I think Jimmy Butler
and them can get rolling
but I don't
I don't really
watch the heat too much
man I ain't excited
I seen the other day
he could have shot a three
was confused a little bit
I don't know
I don't really watch
Pacers short to you
somebody
well yeah
we definitely use a backup
big looking at
JaVale McGee
because every other
backup we have
at the 4-5
has unfortunately
hurt their Achilles
which is crazy
but Jarrace Walker
been hooping for y'all, man.
Hey, listen, man.
I'm happy that he's got
the down-to-the-floor this season.
He's showing that he's,
you know what I'm saying,
the potential is there.
Him and Benedict Mather,
we didn't add much
in the offseason,
but them coming back
as contributors
is definitely what we needed.
I still think that the rotation
needs to get sewed up,
but yeah,
I'm happy with them.
I don't know how we always
give on the Pacers.
You know why?
I don't know why I hate the Pacers. I used to play for the Pacers. In fact, I'm happy with them too. I don't know how we always give on the Pacers. You know why? I don't know why I hate the Pacers.
I used to play for the Pacers.
In fact, I'm a Pacer fan now.
No, we cool.
Utah.
Yeah, we cool.
How was the best point guard y'all had?
You haven't had a point guard like me ever since.
You were Jamal Tinsley.
Tyrese just got more freedom.
Oh, that's hate.
That's hate.
I can miss too.
Nah, I'm just joking.
That's definitely hate.
That's definitely hate.
Who was the point guard
when Victor Oladipo was there?
Y'all remember?
Nah, when Victor Oladipo
was there?
Darren Collison.
Yeah, Darren Collison.
0-7.
0-9 draft.
That's crazy.
I forgot about that too. He was a good guard for the Pacers. Yeah, he did play good. Definitely. Always7, 09 draft. That's crazy. I forgot about that, too.
He was a good goer for the Pacers.
Yeah, he did play good.
Definitely.
Always a consummate professional.
I want to ask about Utah because, obviously, they're in the Cooper Classic.
Who put that mic together?
Freaky Mickey.
Freaky Mickey in the morning show?
That's his name in the morning show.
It's crazy.
Screwed for a lot.
It's all good.
You know.
Walker Kessler.
Do y'all feel like he's going to move on from the Jazz?
I've been seeing him in college section. A lot of trade rumors, obviously. Walker Kessler. Do y'all feel like he's going to move on from the Jazz? I've been seeing him and Kyle Sexton in a lot of trade rumors.
Obviously with the Lakers, they put anybody in there.
But I feel like he's a big that can move around.
That can definitely help some teams.
I know, again, it's still early, but.
He's a good defender, good rim protector.
Capable big.
I mean, he would be good for the Pacers, honestly, right now.
Pull up.
But for the Lakers, I don't know.
The Lakers need everything.
Yeah, I guess they do. They really do. They actually need Kyle Sexton. He would be a great fit for the Lakers, I don't know. The Lakers need everything. Yeah, they really do.
They actually need Collin Sexton.
He would be a great fit for the team.
Yeah, they actually do need Collin Sexton.
He don't give a damn.
Yeah, and I think he got the scoring potential off the bench that they need
because they have no bench scoring.
Yeah.
And I think that's somebody they might need for real.
And from a defensive standpoint, he definitely will.
You know what I'm saying?
He'll get an effort.
Yeah, he'll get an effort.
For sure.
All right, y'all going Warriors with a win or Cavs?
I told you, man.
I'm going Cavs.
I'm going Draymond.
Warriors.
Shout out to the Warriors.
Going to Warriors.
Another fire game.
Suns and Mavs.
Top of one in the East right now.
You spoke highly about the Suns, man.
Who's top of one in the East?
You mean Wes?
Oh, Wes.
Excuse me.
Yeah, Wes.
Yeah, I like to correct shit on them.
I was going to correct shit.
Wes accomplished my apologies.
Mavs sitting at fifth right now.
What's up, man?
I'm not a Mavs.
I like the Mavs, but, you know, Kyle, I'm an anti-athlete,
so we got to get rolling right now.
You said anti or anti?
Anti.
You know what I mean?
You've seen my collection.
I got to go get them.
And then you got War Prayer. I got three. I my collection. I got to go get them. And then you got one pair of moccasins.
I got three.
I got three.
Don't disrespect the tribe.
Which one's tribe?
Me and Kyle.
Red Diner Feather.
Me and Kyle.
Be careful throwing them signs.
You don't know nothing about them.
Me and Kyle.
And like come back and sell them.
Luis, clip it up.
I know what that means.
Y'all crazy.
But what y'all think about
Klay Thompson so far on the maps?
He just fitting in, bro.
He ain't doing nothing, bro.
He ain't solid, bro.
Nah, but he has up and down game.
Y'all know Klay is my guy, bro,
but he has scored 20.
He averaging 14 and a half right now. He's been bro, but he has scored 20. He averaging 14.5 right now.
Been three, but it's up and down, though.
He ain't found his groove yet, for real.
Look at the games, game by game.
I'm telling y'all, it's up and down.
I mean, he's not going to be the Klay Thompson that we once seen with the Warriors,
but to be a spot-up shooter for them, I think he's doing all right.
14 points, yeah.
He's the type of player that in the playoffs,
you need him to have at least two or three good games that serious. No, I think that's when he's doing all right. He's the type of player that in the playoffs, you need him to have at least two or three good games
that serious.
That's when he's going to kill.
I think his experience and his reliability in the playoffs,
he's going to have them two or three games to give them just enough
when they're having a bad night to push them over the hump.
But the Suns, man, the real bud.
The bud, bro. I'm telling you.
The buds. The magic school buds.
I've been a part of one of them teams where you just get rolling.
But he puts you in the right position to be successful.
He going to push all your buttons.
He'll challenge you.
He confrontational.
So I think, I mean, they found their groove right now.
For sure.
Who getting the dub tonight?
Suns, baby.
You going with the Suns?
Who you rolling with?
I'm going to go with the Mavs.
For some reason, Luka plays great against Devin Booker.
Yes, always. He always turns up against Devin Booker. He always turns up
against Devin Booker
and everything.
He's going to be
one of them nights.
100 on that game?
It's like 100.
What's money to anybody
nowadays?
Ooh.
I don't speak that language.
I'm just saying,
who cares?
I'm just saying,
respect the word.
Tax is about to go.
Let me stop.
Quit talking.
I ain't got the answer check
about this one.
That's on wax look man
they just
hey they just got
nevermind
I'll tell y'all later
I'll tell y'all on 520
catch me on Monday
I'll tell y'all the real
he's just telling
niggas pockets
I'll tell y'all the real
oh that's crazy
I'll tell y'all the real
on Monday
$100
hey
DraftKings
the treat does well
the parlay's been hit the real crash on parlay, $100, hey, DraftKings, the treat does well, man.
The parlay's been hit.
The real crash on parlay.
I'm telling y'all the one he ain't get y'all,
it hit yesterday.
That's on the close range.
That's on,
that's on the only fan.
I can watch it,
it's crazy.
The Bob's one of the only fans
that's completely out of pocket.
That's on the only fans.
Oh,
y'all are nuts, man. That's on the of pocket. That's how the only fans. Oh, yeah. That's what the bartender.
That's what the bartender.
Oh, my God.
I'm just playing.
Oh, he's over there.
Okay.
Say less, K.
We're going to turn this goddamn water show up.
Okay.
Y'all going to think this is my fucking shot at night.
He keep playing. All right?
No, man. Y'all crazy.
I'm just saying because everybody
kept saying, people, she need to be a staple
on the show. I'm like, yeah, that's funny.
Once a week,
I get it. We're happy to kiki tweet.
Well, y'all play
too much. speaking of struggling teams
amen to Bucks man
they probably got a dub
13th in the East right now
they beat the Jazz
if that counts
but
these four teams
y'all feel like
gonna turn around quicker
you got the Bucks
at 2-6
76ers at
1-6
last
Knicks
3-4
6 in the East
and the Lakers
500 at
10 in the West
yeah we gotta talk about these struggling teams, man.
Yeah, it's a lot of questions.
I want to start with the 76ers.
Tyrese Maxey, like you said, man,
they put too much workload on my boy.
Hamstring injury, he's supposed to be out a couple weeks.
Kyle Lee.
You called it, man.
You said he was doing too much.
You did say that.
And I said he wasn't doing enough.
He's still young, y'all.
But I really be
why I like him.
So I watch him play
like for real, bro.
He plays super hard
because he's trying
to overcompensate
for what they don't have
and what they missing, bro.
So to see him go down
with a hamstring injury,
bro, that's
I hate that.
He was logging
a lot of minutes.
You said that, though.
Yeah, bro.
You see, I'm like, bro,
he's I get it. He young, y'all. Y'all playing him too hard, bro. Give though. Yeah, bro, you see? I'm like, bro, I get it. He young,
y'all. Y'all playing him too hard, bro. Give him a break,
bro. Put Eric Gordon in the game, bro.
So y'all think it's over for the Sixers,
man? No, it's over, bro.
They're losing him. Yeah.
PG, he back playing, but
NB being out. When NB come back,
it's him and PG show.
Do y'all think that's a capable
duo to get them
rolling
I think for this team
to be successful
they need all of them
hitting at all cylinders
and I think this injury
with Tyrese Maxey
definitely pushes them back
also with Embiid
with the suspension
him missing games
bro
we have to see
I mean I know what he can do
but he got to get back
into playing basketball
so that might take
another
6, 7, 8, 9 games
now what
how long are you out
with a hamstring the hamstring is tricky that's the worst i ain't gonna say it's the worst but
that's one of them you can't really diagnose it so a couple weeks is crazy when you don't want
players if you say your hamstring hurt but because you can't diagnose it you can't tell
somebody really feel but that was a tricky one man especially the way he plays so fast
he could be feeling good and he make a quick burst
and he can re-hurt it again
that fast
so he might be out
a month
and the way that that team
is designed
they need him
he was the one part
that they was like
okay reliable
like I know these other two dudes
don't get hurt
they're going to be low management
but we expect him to play
the whole season
to carry us to get to a good seed
now your plans are right
so now I wonder
at this team
man like what do you start thinking?
Because at some point you got to figure out, all right, is this season a wash?
Do you feel like next year just running back?
I don't know.
I mean, I know it's early, but they got some stuff they got to figure out.
That's a fact.
The Knicks, I think we said Tom will tell with them, but just another update.
How y'all feel about the Knicks?
You think it'll take a little bit more time for them to figure out?

I know a lot of cops, and they get asked all the time,
have you ever had to shoot your gun?
Sometimes the answer is yes.
But there's a company dedicated to a future where the answer will always be no.
Across the country, cops called this taser the revolution.
But not everyone was convinced it was that simple.
Cops believed everything that taser the revolution. But not everyone was convinced it was that simple. Cops believed everything that taser told them.

the podcast where I sit down with the boldest innovators shaping what's next.
In this episode, I'm joined by Anjali Sood, CEO of Tubi, for a conversation that's anything
but ordinary. We dive into the competitive world of streaming, how she's turning so-called niche
into mainstream gold,
connecting audiences with stories that truly make them feel seen.
What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core. It's this idea that there are so many stories out
there. And if you can find a way to curate and help the right person discover the right content,
the term that we always hear from our audience
is that they feel seen. Get a front row seat to where media, marketing, technology, entertainment,

Yeah, but I think
they straight up.
Yeah, they're going to be okay.
They in the East.
The third best team in the East
is 500 right now.
So they straight.
Indiana Pacers,
you know what team it is.
They'll be all right.
I mean, I think they just
going to have to catch a rhythm. I think Jalen Brunson, not saying he having a bad year, but he's just not himself right now. So they straight. And then the Pacers, you know what team it is. They'll be all right. I mean, I think they just going to have to
catch a rhythm.
I think Jalen Brunson,
not saying he having
a bad year,
but he just not himself
right now.
Like,
last year,
every time I seen him play,
I was like,
JB, JB, JB.
Now I'm starting to be like,
JB,
he's kind of deferring
a little bit to Cat,
and I understand
he trying to get him,
you know,
build some camaraderie
with him,
but like,
he got hope.
You know what I mean?
Is that one of those things you feel like less could have been more?
For sure.
I always said that.
When I said they had to trade J.R. Smith, I mean J.R. Smith,
Julius Randle, they traded him, but I knew they were going to go get Cat,
but I just love when everything is surrounding JB.
He plays better.
Their team believes in him.
The city believes in him, And the city was behind him.
I mean, I don't know if they're really happy about Cat. I mean, he
killing. I know they like him, but
I think they like the vibes from last
year.
I can see that. I mean, we spoke about the Bucks on this podcast,
but like we said, is it one of the situations still for
the same? We need to wait for Chris Middleton? Or
I should phrase, can they wait for Chris
Middleton? When is he coming back, y'all?
That's a good question.
Has that been noted?
He hasn't been cleared for 5-on-5 yet.
We got a couple weeks.
What do you have, ankle surgery, right?
Yeah, so it's a possibility he'll be out another couple weeks.
Look what it takes for them to win two games.
What do you think, B.A.?
I think if you're out of the issue smooth, it's early.
If it's going to take for you to wait for your other piece to come,
I feel like y'all be straight.
The East ain't powerful this year.
Now, if y'all was in the West, it might be a little wicked.
You know what I mean?
But it's like I said, it's 82 games, bro.
This is way too early to be.
Like, the Lakers are trash.
The Raptors are trash.
Who else?
Utah, trash. But other teams that we predicted to be at the Lakers are trash, the Raptors are trash. Who else? Utah, trash.
But other teams that we predicted to be at least contenders,
they'd be okay because they got the foundation and solid.
Most definitely.
Do you feel like Giannis is patient enough?
I guess that's the question.
He cutting the fool over there.
Because he putting the pressure on.
I know, like you said, it makes sense to wait until Chris Mills and get there.
But if he going to keep putting the pressure on like that,
and we know with his history
he gonna get somebody
up out that chair
he just need to go back
to what Jeff said
like what he used to
before he got out of the hype
just get back to his hoop bro
his hoop bro
he should just put his head
down and hoop
and we ain't never hear
from Giannis
we ain't
we ain't never hear
from Giannis
we just used to see
and Giannis is killing
MVP, MVP level every year
he just put his head
down and hoop
and now you know when we hearing about Giannis in the media and stuff,
I don't like it.
I like Giannis and just hooped.
For sure.
Excuse me.
Recapping last night's games, T-Wills beat the Bulls 135-119.
I ate 33 a night.
Taking care of business.
Yeah, the parlay almost hit, man.
But you taking for the 40 piece?
I had him for 30.
Okay, excuse me.
Okay.
He held his end up
for the parlay for you
he was three threes too
you know what I mean
so
Chuck you got your bet on that
you know what I mean
we came through
but that was a light win for us
we ain't
we could have took tonight
off against the Bulls
that ain't nobody
for sure
so is AE like
where do you put him
in the rank of the top
the top 10 players right now
of all time
nah
hell nah I'll keep it simple where do you feel like in the rank of the top 10 players right now? Of all time? Nah.
Hell nah.
I'll keep it simple.
Where do you feel like?
Who's the best two-guard in the NBA?
Him.
I'm going with Donovan Mitchell right now.
So far, his top 10 players in the league right now?
I don't know.
I'd give him six.
Well, I was going to ask y'all this later, but since we're here,
the MVP ladder, you know what I'm saying, earlier in the season,
at 10, you got Tyrese Maxey. Nine, you got Giannis. 8, Luka.
7, AE. 6, Kevin
Durant. 5, Donovan Mitchell.
4, SGA. 3,
Yoke. 2, Tatum. And number 1, Anthony
Davis. Yeah.
That list could be mixed around.
I could be shuffled like Apple Music.
It's early, bro.
It's early. I can't. To say MVP, bro. It's early. Very early.
I can't.
To say MVP,
they played too many games.
Now, if this was the,
I ain't got no disrespect,
but, you know,
the WNBA played less games than Jeff and them at Pike.
So,
if it was that,
if it was that.
What's your problem
with the W, bro?
With that scheduling?
What's up, bro?
Yeah, I want to get paid
a trillion dollars, bro.
And y'all got a YMCA, PYBC schedule, bro.
And y'all play at 11 o'clock every day.
Me and DJ went to go see the Fever play, bro.
It was 1 p.m., bro.
We had to rest our day to ourselves, bro.
We go to our personal game.
So you can't go on a date at the Fever game?
Well, Kalen made it hot. You better not go on a date to a Kal Facebook game. So you can't go on a date at the Fever game. Well, Kalen, Kalen made that hot.
You better not go on a date
to a Kalen game.
You go,
you better not.
Kalen,
it used to be
Mad Day.
You feel me?
You could take a freak there.
It's over.
Nah,
it's Bob's time.
It's long gone.
But now you can't even
take a girl with you though
because your girl
might get swooped.
Yeah,
she might
because they demons
over there.
For real, the Juana man of them is OD over there.
You know what I mean?
Shout out to E. Weasley.
They animals.
They had to lie with it, nigga, on the front.
They the motherfucking 2,000 ravens.
I see.
Oh, man.
Ray Wallace. E. Weasley, damn. Ray Lewis.
Eat Whizzy, damn near Ed Reed.
He's born with the pigs.
She married, man.
Oh, respect, Lord.
Shouts, Eat Whizzy.
You crazy.
The Bucks beat the Jazz yesterday,
120 through the 100.
I don't even count if you beat the Jazz,
but Dame, Giannis, 30 balls apiece.
Listen, man, we said we're going to still figure it out.
Question is, is Dame still top five PG?
I mean, he playing great this year.
Let's not slight Dame at all.
I mean, his stats are crazy.
Yeah, he's 28-7.
He's definitely killing.
I mean, they just got to get some wins, but top five PG for sure.
Oh, hell yeah.
He just want to win.
He going to get his numbers.
That's life for him to get a bucket.
He ready to win, though, at this stage of his career.
And I respect him a lot because they be asking him the same dumb questions in his interviews.
And he just like, I'm just hooping.
I don't know what more y'all want from me.
It ain't like I'm out here laying 15, 16 bad games.
I'm out here putting 30 and up in games without Giannis to put us in position to win.
I'm getting 40.
What more do y'all want from this man?
I mean, damn, 28
and 7. Come on, bro.
You're back in Portland again.
MVP type numbers, bro. 28 and 7.
Bro, you're killing. You're just not
winning. For sure.
If they was for real, if they was 500,
he'd be in the MVP with the list you just
had. He'd be up there. Yeah, because he's
killing, bro. He's killing.
Shout out to Dame
Dollar, man.
Verified Buckets
Behan.
Who was getting
to it yesterday, man?
Man, who is on the
Verified Bucket today?
Let's see.
Who was on the list,
bro?
Before y'all do that,
they've been saying a
lot that they should
blow the bucks up.
Do you feel that way?
I feel like if Giannis
ain't happy, then you
got to do whatever you
want to do to keep him
or you got to move him.
What would you do, B-Han?
You think they...
Yeah, get rid of him, bro.
Get rid of Giannis?
Yes, bro.
Rebuild the whole city?
Where would you go
if you want Giannis to go?
If you could.
If you, B-Han,
playing GM,
where do you send him?
Giannis,
go where you celebrate
and not where you tolerate it.
He celebrated in Milwaukee.
Nah, nah, nah.
We're done with that.
Why, they let T.A. go?
Yeah, Milwaukee is tremors.
We need to go to live.
That's an over transit.
So, where you going?
Man, send him.
Send him to Golden State.
Where you want to go, bro?
Let him go play with Klay, bro.
Klay?
I mean, I'm sorry.
I'm Steph.
My fault.
So, you would like to see Johnson? Yeah, I think that's where he want to go. So, you give'm sorry. I'm Steph. My fault. So you would like to see
Giannis?
Yeah,
I think that's where
he want to go.
So you give up Draymond?
Oh,
for sure.
Draymond.
They have to be willing
to accept Draymond.
That's just what you
want.
Go to North Carolina,
bro.
Go to Charlotte,
bro.
You should make that call,
baby.
No,
don't send my daughter.
Draymond need to go to
Charlotte.
Yes.
Giannis need to go
to Golden State.
For sure,
bro.
Who Milwaukee get?
Whew.
Trace, I'm sorry.
So Trace going to Milwaukee.
Yep.
Kaminga.
Kawanga.
Yep.
Kawanga.
Kawanga's crazy.
Kaminga going.
Who else we got over there?
Moody.
Moses Moody definitely gone.
Moses Moody gone, bro.
We need some more for Giannis About three first-round picks.
Nah, no first-round picks, bro.
Send about 30 million.
Just send some cash.
Send a relief.
Send cash considerations.
I would love to see the historic number of the cash.
I don't even think you can send that much.
Send cash considerations.
That's what it's called, cash considerations.
Yeah, don't trade.
That's normally a couple million. You send 30 million, it's crazy. For y'all, this is called cash considerations. Yeah, don't trade. That's normally a couple mil.
You said 30 million?
It's crazy.
For Giannis, bro.
This is not soccer.
Nah, bro.
Giannis is still peak, bro.
You gotta cash out
for Giannis, bro.
When you offer that package,
they gonna 2K with you.
I don't think.
You gotta trade Wigg.
Wigg.
Moody.
You gotta trade that entire
line up except Steph Curry.
Nah, bro. You gonna have Buddy Hill, line up except Steph Curry. Nah, bro.
You got to have Buddy Hill, Giannis, and Steph.
That's enough.
That's enough, bro.
Steph and Giannis is cheating.
Yeah, bro.
That would be cheating.
Steph and Giannis is cheating.
Now, we can put some role players.
If they had the Lakers role players with Steph, Giannis, and Buddy.
But Dame is the same person as Steph.
No.
No.
No, no, no, no.
And I love Dame.
How not?
What does, what do Steph, I mean, besides winning the championships,
but if you just go player for player, what do Steph do that Dame don't do?
See, this ain't fair to Dame because being compared to the GOAT
ain't really never fair, but, bro, that's the best person ever to shoot a basketball.
Even though Dame is a phenomenal shooter.
Literally, Dame is second. But it's the difference between first and second. I know, but, like, it's the best person ever shoot a basketball. Even though Damon's a phenomenal shooter. Literally, Damon's second.
But it's the difference between first and second. I know, but
it's not even that big of a difference.
Nah, bro, I can't do my
dog name like that, bro.
That's a
terrible comparison, bro. How?
I'm
just, I'm different, bro.
I'm different. I'm different, bro.
Steph is different than the Steph effect is different, bro. I'm different. I'm different, bro. Steph is different.
The Steph effect is different, bro.
Steph got people wearing Under Armour shoes, bro.
A lot
comes with me, bro.
People wear Dame shoes. Nah, people love Dame shoes,
but I'm saying people are wearing Steph's,
bro. Under Armour,
people, I seen a motherfucker with an all
white pair of Steph Curry's on, bro,
in a regular outfit.
What was that?
They out of pocket.
Bro, they was walking in the factory before Jeff sold it.
They was in the factory.
They out of pocket, bro.
Is that breaking news?
I would say Steph, he's been with a really good organization.
I mean, he had Kevin Durant as a team at one point true bro but he also
had Clay Thompson also second best
he also had Harrison Barnes
Sean Livingston
them are nice players
name me who Dane played with besides Giannis
and CJ McCollum
CJ McCollum
he's not Clay Thompson
no bro I'm sleeping.
He's not
Kevin Durant.
Dame played
one of my
favorite power
fours of all
time,
LaMarcus
Aldridge,
bro.
He played
with him
when he was
a rookie.
Pure dog,
bro.
I'm just
saying.
He didn't
get enough
years with
him.
I love
Dame game.
And Dame,
to me,
can shoot
the ball
like Steph
Curry.
I get
that.
But the
impact on
the game
is just
different,
bro.
KD or LaMarcus Aldridge? Well, it's impact on the game is just different, bro. KD or Lamar Gazzardo?
Well, it's a no-brainer for that.
Okay.
CJ McCullum or Klay Thompson?
I'm taking Klay just off.
But I ain't mad if somebody took CJ.
I'm a Klay fan.
I like CJ McCullum.
They got one of the best mid-range guys ever, but you got Klay fucked up.
Yeah, Klay.
I think people will take.
Some people will take CJ McCullum over Klay, bro.
Sean Livingston.
Steph Curry plays off the ball
better than Dame Lillard.
I mean, it's probably a luxury
that Dame didn't get
to play off the ball.
I mean, that's not
Steph Curry's fault, though,
but that's a difference.
I'm saying, but...
That's a difference, bro.
Who was...
I do that better than
Dame Lillard.
I mean, I know we taking
up time doing this,
but who is Dame's
power forward
that can play like Draymond?
Bro, I don't know.
To be a crash...
Nobody.
He can play with nobody.
Okay, bro, it's hard to be
Crash Bandicoot in the NBA, bro.
Damn.
I'm just saying
he was at a disadvantage.
I feel like
if you replace Dame
with Steph,
they probably still
win a championship
with them teams.
He played with KD
and all them.
They probably will still
win a championship.
And I'm not...
And I feel like if you put
Steph with that
Portland team, they probably get the same
results that... I just feel like Damian's more
ball-dominant than Steph Curry, bro.
And in that system... It had to be.
Right, but in that system, I feel like
he gotta be
ball-dominant in Milwaukee, bro.
I don't know if Damian gonna run around off screens and shit
like that, bro. I'm saying he got to be. Who going to
facilitate anything?
Your point I understand. You're basically saying, you know,
the circumstances are different. The talent
is similar, but at the same time, it's just like
with all Kings and Sitter, you still got to
I still got to put Steph in that situation.
Let's not get it twisted. I'm not hating on
Steph. We talking about
top 75.
We talking about some of the best PG's ever.
Yeah, we talking about top 75 players.
No, Jeff is talking about skill for skill.
We ain't talking about the accolade shit.
We not doing that.
Yeah, I mean, they both top 10 point guards when it's all finished.
It's hard to say what Steph does better.
I just think Steph affects the game.
When you can play off the ball and on the ball, and I've done it.
At a high level, bro, it's different, bro,
than the motherfucker that always got the ball in their hands.
I think they built teams around him
better than Portland built team around Dame.
I 100% agree.
Yeah, like, they knew what Steph Curry did well,
and they got people around him to do it.
Like, all right, we need to point forward in Draymond
because Steph didn't play point guard at Davidson.
He ran around and was a two guard.
So let's get somebody who can play point forward
and get Steph open shots.
Even underrated.
Them trading Monte
to get Bogut
for that same reason
to have those screens
to have to keep the ball
in his hands
to run off screens
to pass the ball.
Yeah, I 1,000% agree
with you there.
I think you're absolutely
right about that, bro.
But I'm saying
that's the difference
in the game, though.
I'm so better organization.
Nah, bro.
I think Steph is a better passer.
I think Steph is a much better passer than Dan.
I mean, look who you're
passing to. I'm going to be a good passer if I'm passing to KD
and fucking Clay Thompson. You can't knock DJ
Point for that, though. I'm not knocking it, bro.
Damn near are, bro.
When he drives so many people and he's making good reads,
I mean, that's what I'm saying. I ain't saying he's a phenomenal.
Is that a good read?
If I'm throwing to KD what I'm saying. I ain't saying he a phenomenon. Is that a good read? Hell yeah.
If I'm throwing a KD and I'm throwing a Klay Thompson,
I look like a good passer because I was throwing a Kyle Corbin.
He did that for three years, bro.
You weren't a good passer?
I was cool, but Kyle Corbin made me look like a great passer.
You had Kyle.
You had Kyle.
You had Josh.
You had Joe.
You had a lot of people, bro.
Even DeMar Curl had some assists from you.
Yeah, but I'm just saying, like. For real a lot of people, bro. Even DeMar Curl had some assists from you. Yeah, but I'm just saying, like...
For real.
Shout to my guy.
He almost slipped into the All-Star game because of Jeff.
That's a fact.
But look.
When you throw in a KD and Klay Thompson,
when we running a pick and roll, Draymond rolling,
and you help a little bit on KD,
I'm going to look like a great passer.
And I'm not saying Steph can't pass.
That's where I got to say you slighting it, bro.
I'm not. You are, bro. Because Steph can't pass that's where I gotta say you slighting it bro I'm not you are bro
cause Steph can't help
that he
the first championship
he won bro
that's what he got
dealt with
that's a good team
I'm not
Steph Curry is the best
point guard ever
I'm not saying that
he's a great player
so you're saying
Dame is second
I'm not saying
he's the second
I just said
he said it's close
his accolades don't match up with
to be the best. 100%.
So where would you put Dame as
a top 10? His accolades ain't gonna ever
add up to be better than
some of these great players.
If he's top 75, I feel like you gotta be top 10.
Yeah, but I'm just saying you can't be like,
oh, he better than Westbrook because he never won
MVP. Westbrook won MVP.
You can't say he better than all these other dudes
because...
I'd probably take Dame
over Westbrook, but...
I wouldn't be mad at you.
The comments below this, man.
We got two great
comparisons today.
First, we got AE.
Yeah, that's my verified
book.
It's my fault, y'all.
That's my verified book.
No, you're right.
Great conversation.
I'm going to go with
Lamar Jackson, man.
Doing what he do his best, man.
Four CDs.
That's the man right there
for sure every time.
Yeah, he...
If we want to compare him
he
Lamar
Lamar Jackson
yeah he
Lamar Jackson
there you go
he about to say something crazy
who we compare to
I'm just saying
he about to say Tom Brady
hell nah
I don't want to say that
I'm about to say
Pat Mahomes
that's like Pat
he Dame Lillard
to Pat
like to Steph Curry
I like that
Pat Mahomes
and Steph Curry
I like that light skin Dame Lillard I shouldn my, like to Steph Curry. I like that. Pat Mahomes. I ain't going to hate. Steph Curry. I like that.
Light skin.
Dame Lillard Thug.
I like that.
I shouldn't say that, but Lamar Jackson.
Nah, he called that back to the team, bro.
Nah.
Hey, man, I need Lamar Jackson to get a Super Bowl.

Hi, I'm Sarah Spain, host of Good Game with Sarah Spain, and the co-author of the new book, Runs in the Family, an incredible true story of
football, fatherhood, and belonging, written with and about Las Vegas Raiders running backs coach
Dylan McCullough. It's the story of a football coach and father of four who sees his life
forever changed by the unsealing of his adoption records. And it's got a twist you won't believe.
Based on the viral ESPN story I did a few years ago, this book will blow your mind and bring you to tears. Buy Runs in the Family wherever books are sold. This is an iHeart podcast.
