I had somebody run down on me in church.
Wow.
Church.
In the Lord's house.
Nigger, you fucked up my parley.
In church, I said, dang.
Yeah, God, no.
$3,000.
No, no, see it's greater than the next.
It was some youngers.
I couldn't believe it.
But, I mean, that's, it's real out here.
That is crazy, though.
Yeah.
Three bands?
That's the chance they're going to be a lot.

All-Star. Damn. Yeah, me,
niggia.
We're here to all-star.
You're probably, man.

Yeah, we've been waiting
this episode for a long time, man.
Still to my right,
my dog, young nacho, young tea.
How are you what?
I'm cooling, brother.
I'm starting to like lemonade and spray.
I don't know what that's about.
It's kind of good.
Man.
Something random asses.
My boy,
possibly.
It's a bit of beer.
It's cut with some ice.
I swear they got it back.
It is too late for the repo.
Nah, no.
Ain't too light for something else, though.
Respect.
For sure.
I thought.
Don't worry about it.
Like we said, man,
all-star and champion in the Buddha
the one of our favorites
on 520, man.
Come on the
Houston Rockets
and the unguarded power
dog, Fred Ben Fleet.
Big Dawl, appreciate you sliding
on this, man.
I appreciate y'all for having me.
One of my favorite players
the way he'd be
sliding on the refs.
Let's start that.
Everything okay at home.
You and D. Bain and Borsesim,
fuck the rest of the record.
Yeah.
Hey, man.
It'd be like that sometime.
You know what I'm saying?
It's like.
You know, once you make the decision
that you're going to go for,
you might as well go all the way.
Yeah.
They're going to pay that money.
Same tab, no matter what.
Who's the same all the way through?
No matter what.
I mean, it varies, but, like, if you're going, if you're going wild out,
you got to go all the way with.
You got to get your money's worth.
You're going to get some money's worth.
That's good to know then.
I got a couple good ones.
You know what I'm saying?
That's good to know.
Now, do y'all see that on y'all statement, like,
the little part of it or they go ahead and take it out like immediately?
Or is it hot that way?
They take that out like child support.
Yeah, it comes off the top.
That's come out of the top.
That's come out of the top.
But you could fight something.
of them, but yeah, the ones I did, you can't.
No, that's so much harder.
I was actually happy the last one that I was,
I had a very good phone call.
Like, I appreciate y'all, you know what I thought.
I thought it was gonna be worse.
I thought it was gonna be, because he jumped.
Like, when he jumped, it made like I hit him.
Yeah, like, my phone after the game,
they're like, oh, he hit the ref.
I'm like, man, I'm six feet away from him.
He jumped, he flinched.
Yeah, he also good in that.
Damn, I knowing that all of them is the same.
That's pretty dope though.
No, I mean, they vary.
Like regular tech.
Yeah, a regular check is what?
It's sorry, $5,000, something like that.
No, what if you're a little,
keep God out of your life, fuck, that.
Yeah, 10K.
You might be 10K.
You put a little into it.
I think moms was like 50K.
Okay, well, what about the niggins with the big eyebrows, though?
Who?
The one that said something about dupes.
Tony brothers.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So did you.
I didn't get a, all.
He just like, nah, I cussed him out,
But he kind of was like, I ain't know it was your mama, bro.
Ah, absolutely.
Okay.
I was like, sniggy.
That was supposed to him, bro.
I was like going crazy.
Oh, he'd be bugged.
That resurfaced recently, too.
Oh, it did?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Now, this is a crazy list right here.
The first one, two bands, six and ten, three, 11 to 15, four, 16 and up.
Damn.
And Dr.
My mom holding this down.
Himalaka, boy.
Oh, and down.
Five-half piece.
Yeah, it's crazy.
Then it's like, the main thing for me was, like, you see the reputation then.
Like, I had a whole reputation.
I still got the reputation.
But.
The rest of that year, it was ugly.
I mean, I don't shoot no free throws.
I might be decent now because I'm the president again.
But, yeah, other than that, it was ugly.
Like, I'm like, yo, y'all painting me like I'm one of them.
Yeah, but he's talking about it all that time.
What's your name in that Rico?
And it's just, yeah.
That zero Rico, different.
Yeah, it's over there.
It's hard to get that back.
No, for sure.
Hey, man, Midwest guy for sure, growing up in Illinois.
Hoops scene was crazy in Chicago.
How was that like?
I know, obviously you was killing,
but they say you didn't get as much, like, love or deserved love
because you didn't play on the A-U circuit around the way.
Yeah.
It was cool.
I mean, we played everywhere.
We played Indiana a lot, probably more than Illinois.
I mean, you go to Chicago sometimes,
but Indiana had the better tournaments.
Like, Marriville.
21-9 area.
They had the speeds join out here.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, that's a poor way.
Yeah, we used to play the Indiana teams.
My class was all the good teams, so I used to love playing them.
Who was your class?
Yogi Farrell.
O'Sha Yogi, Indiana legend.
elite.
Oh, yeah.
Speed speed speed.
Yeah.
Yeah, we played a couple.
I think Glenn Robinson was here.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
So I played against them.
Hannah Perea, like all of them teams.
With the IU.
The Adidas joint.
So, shit, we come out here and get some bump.
And then Illinois was tough.
Jabari Parker was younger than me, but that era.
But yeah, I mean, you know, A.U.
And then, like, MacCherven Fire.
And by the time I got to the point where I was like a teenager,
I thought I was grown, so it was like, they was already too late.
They come in, like, with the shoe bag and all that shit.
Like, come play for us.
I'm like, man, I'd rather just play with my homies because I'm not from the city.
I'm from bottom of the way.
You from Rockford?
Yeah, I'm from Rock.
Hey, y'all got a motherfucker's restaurant.
Y'all got a salt down there.
It's so good.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's about like 45 minutes.
Like, I don't know that.
Yeah, yeah.
What?
It's the time.
Yeah, I mean.
Hey, boy.
Yeah.
I promise, the, nigga, salt is so good, bro.
And that rock, that's the best one.
Yes.
Jesus Christ, they got a C bag.
They got rib-bar.
Well, like, why did you go?
Bashed potatoes, huh?
Yeah.
Why did you go to?
Let me holl ask you.
I was going to stay in the city.
You can stay outside of the Rockford.
You know what I mean?
There ain't a bad drive to go over to the season.
Like 45 minutes from all that.
Yeah.
I was fucking.
Fuck with you.
I was free.
I know why you were out.
Respect.
Respect for me.
Respect for me.
I had a move.
Yeah.
Little tournament.
Go on.
Get back.
Yeah.
Barth,
you drove to Mexico.
You throw the rock for a rich man.
Rich Smith.
Rich so.
Yeah.
And the quick overhust.
It's definitely out the way.
Yeah.
That's funny.
That's fun.
Yeah.
So it was cool.
Like, I'd rather play with my homies and, you know,
trying not to get caught up in that other shit.
And that was it.
And then by the time I was in high school, we was beating all the good teams.
So I was super cool.
We just ain't had the shoe shit, the sponsorships and all that.
Ain't it crazy now.
Obviously, it was about the college situation where you went to, man.
You made your move, no what I'm saying, Wichita State.
With the NIA and stuff now, how you think it would have been,
especially the way y'all had that campus rocking when you was there?
Yeah, we could have never had the team that I had with NIA.
I would have been gone.
Half the out of the job.
Yeah, true.
100,000 I'm out.
I don't even need too much.
But it is money in Wichita
And the coach that we had
He would have got the money
Out of the community
But yeah
I mean it's so much
Bro, you 1819
Like that's just a lot of money, bro
You know what I'm saying
It's really fucking up the game
In terms of like
Your mindset
Because my whole mindset was like
I'm going to Wichita
I'm kind of out the way
It ain't really have like no college life
Like the shit you see
When you're growing up
Like the parties and all that
Wichita ain't have none of that shit
you go to the bar
and I was in the lab
I'm like man
I'm trying to go to the league
I'm gonna have fun
in the league
so if we would have been
getting paid back then
it would have been stupid
yeah
you talk about that all the time
like you said
if I'm getting paid
100 bands 200 bands
at 18
where's my hunger at
because I already made
it in most people
eyes
yeah
it would have been over for me
over
it was all right
you see me
my rookie year
it was over
no man
but it just
I don't know
I think that all come
from the crib too though
If it was cool,
yeah,
I'd be cool with that little cheese, bro.
But think about if you get in,
let's say you were a top,
top player,
you get a million in your first year,
and somebody tell you,
you can get this for the next four years.
I'm not thinking about the NBA at all.
At all,
a million dollars?
If I'm the top,
motherfucker, I'm out of there.
No, for sure,
but it's a lot of other players that,
like, I'm saying,
I'm just speaking for myself.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I wasn't on no drive,
nowhere, never,
none of my four years,
so it was like I had to keep,
But if I would have been getting like a 750 or something,
I'd have been like, shit.
You know what I'm saying?
And it's the overhead.
Went to Miami.
Oh.
Nigel.
Nigel.
Little pro.
Ran it up.
That's true.
That's true.
They start throwing parties.
Yeah.
You're right.
Cause I was an Oklahoma got another bag.
They'll live.
Yeah.
I wouldn't have been thinking nothing about that.
I would have brought a, you know, me.
I'm crap.
I bought Lambo.
I'm not sure.
We have no bills.
You had sent something to the crib.
No, fellas makes your mom in them.
Martin Dad, five bands a month?
Oh, Sa, you're a teenager still, really?
For real, real.
Oh, Fred, I'm gonna live.
Yeah, I'm gonna burn and Maxwell, that thing.
I'm saying, but if I'm there, I still want to go to the league.
Did you have, like, aspirations to go to the league,
or did you want to be the best college player you want to do?
No, hell no.
I hated college.
I wanted to go to the league.
My hope of mine said every day we try to get to the league.
I just was crazy enough to think I was going to go right away, you know what I'm saying?
I didn't even start my freshman year.
Like, I came up the bench to, like, the, one.
Once we went to the tournament, I started playing more and more.
And then my sophomore year, we had a real good team.
We was number one in the country that year.
So that's when the scouts started coming to practice and shit.
I'm like, okay, I'm lit.
But I had a good miss shit.
My setup was Sweden College, though.
I went trying to leave too fast.
Yeah.
I was trying to get drafted.
That was my main thing.
Like, I thought I could work up the draft boards, but that shit don't work like that.
No, like you said, I had a whip.
Well, Klanz was there.
Yeah, Ron Baker.
Yeah.
Ron Baker.
Y'all had a whip.
I had pros on that team.
Yeah, we got a good-ass team, bro.
But I think I had a good coach, too, and I was just,
because, like, we got a lot of young guys on our team now.
Like, a lot of the kids that come to the NBA now,
they don't know how to play.
Damn.
So, like, I was just happy that I had a good coach who taught me how to play.
So by the time I got to the league, I kind of, you know what I'm saying?
Transition was easy.
Yeah, I had a good foundation to go off.
That helped me a lot.
Yeah.
You always talk about that even as a high school coach.
He was like, I'm having to teach stuff that we should learn.
in the elementary school now that kids,
they're not kids, but shit,
they get into the NBA
and having to learn how to pick and rob and shit.
They learn their game backwards now.
Shit, you do all the difficult shit first.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
And by the time you get, you know,
it's like a certain age.
Like, if you can't shoot by the time you're 18,
you probably cook.
You know what?
You know what?
That's how it is.
Unless you can't.
Six eight ain't just so gifted
that you can't deny it.
Damn.
As a door, if you can't shoot right now,
you kind of cook.
And it's NBA.
It's hard.
It's hard to add it.
Our nakes better get a job, boy.
You can't shoot by 18 and you got to be 6-8?
I'm saying, because you got to have something got to jump off the screen.
I used to scout.
We used to say, what's his superpower?
Yeah.
So if your superpower is, I can't find it when I'm looking at you, shit, you could.
I need to come in the gym and be able to see your superpower immediately.
Like, ah, he can shoot.
So it's shooting the most important thing to get somebody into the NBA right now?
Yeah, I think so.
What they're paying for is?
I think, I mean, size just being tall, you know,
that's always going to win.
Oh, yeah, size of athleticism.
Because that's what it is.
It's like you got to be a freaking nature out there.
That's what everybody got to survive.
But, I mean, shooting is the separator to me.
Like, if you could shoot, the more better you can shoot,
the better your chance is going to be.
Because that's what they're paying for right now.
Slacing and shooting, you know what I'm saying?
And so if you don't have that,
you just have more of a disadvantage.
So your other shit got to be off the rule.
You never got to be a superior athlete, much better.
Yeah.
You got to have a competitive nature, too.
Like, that's the one thing I always appreciate about your game.
Like, even being a smaller guard, like, I wasn't a defender at all.
But you was actually known for your defense.
Right.
So when you came in the league, I was like, this motherfucker really be guard.
I was, like, laughing at him like, ah, this thing is trying hard as fuck.
You know, that I'm like, hold on, my fuck is just fucking with that.
And then he started scoring.
He always been a good shooter,
but then he started adding more and more to his game,
but he was known for defense.
Like, when I watched you in the finals guard stuff,
I'm like, he really guard stuff.
Damn, that's great.
Like, he's doing a good job.
Like, what the fuck?
And you got to be cool with that.
I knew niggas was laughing at me.
I was.
I didn't square.
You know what I'm saying?
I just don't talk.
Like, I guess from me being in Houston,
people just realize I'm not from Canada.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
So, like, you don't know, I came.
I ain't had no VC.
I ain't have no, nothing.
Like, yeah, not the most.
But, you know what I'm saying?
But I'm out of that bitch picking up full court.
I remember my rookie year, I think I played in OKC, or we played OKC, and I picked the
Russ full court.
And I remember everybody's like, oh, what the fuck you doing, man?
Like, nobody picking up full court.
I'm like, shit, I'm trying to figure it out.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, I got to find a way somehow.
So I was willing to do whatever.
Got damn to make my way.
So that was the way I got in.
It was like, all right, you got to play D.
You got to change the game and change the tempo.
That was like the two things that I changed.
try to do. And then the offense came later.
I was just about to ask you that. Like, we can transition from college to going to the NBA.
What was that like, bro?
Man, it was cool. It was hard because I was trying to make it.
Like, I was trying to find some security, you know, from being undrafted.
Yeah.
Not having a guaranteed contract. I was just trying to get, like, some security, like, a year or two.
Then I could work on my game.
So that first part was tough. And then once I realized, like, I wasn't playing, I was just
enjoying it. You know what I'm saying? I'm in the league. I'm chilling. I'm eating skittles on the bench.
Like, I'm just watching the show. You know, that's how I go. And then like when you don't have
no chance of playing, you really just chilling, traveling, and you're outside. So I did that,
but I worked on my game every day and I studied every day. You know what I'm saying? And I just
stuck close to the vest that I had. And so that was like that first initial transition. And then
Once I started playing, then I built it a little bit, you know, more from there.
But at first, I was just happy to be here.
I'm still happy to be here, but I was just super happy to be in the league at that point.
Yeah, yeah, obviously, a lot of respect how you got to the NBA in Cape Grine
and, like, made your way in a situation very admirable.
But it's funny now you went to the G League, made the most of it and got back in a league.
Now you got people in the G League trying to go back to college.
Like, that is phrasing.
Like, yeah, I'm in the G League.
Fuck it.
Let me go back to my school.
Yeah.
The Times is wicked, bro.
So what's all thinking about that?
because I don't know, I got a different
couple opinions on that.
I feel like...
But you got to get a bad thing.
I'm saying, Fred.
But you got to get a bag of there being up.
I like it.
If I played in the NBA,
if I guarded Fred Van Fleet,
and I played a whole season or two
in the NBA,
I think I'm not going back to God damn at Boston University.
Yeah.
I'm not doing that, bro.
But if you're not getting no rep here.
I think there's been nobody that did that.
I think it's like...
It's been, bro, it's about to be people
that's played the NBA game.
I'm not going.
games that he played in the league.
10?
That's what I'm saying.
Like, bro, if you, if you, because they're young, right?
This is what I'm saying.
They're young.
Yeah.
So if you're young and just shit, you jump early and then ain't work out for you,
they can't pay anyway.
All that college, uh, uh, student athletes.
You should have run right back.
Oh, yeah, that.
You should have run right back.
It's just really the new G league.
A better G league.
It's a better G league.
Yeah.
The only thing I was going to say was,
though, we let the, the European can come over whenever.
Yeah.
That's a fact.
It could sign with college.
They can go,
they can do it.
There's no restrictions on them.
See, I ain't know about
a motherfucker,
a year old European.
So, they,
they're on the way.
I'm not arguing.
I'm saying,
no, I'm saying,
but then,
like, the kid from Baylor
got all the attention.
I don't know how many of it has done it.
I've seen the kid from Baylor,
but like, man,
he ain't impacting the game like that.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, if he was coming,
like, he was a national player
of the year and be like,
all right, bro,
you're tripping.
Like, Marri, Bailey,
if he get to play college,
he's going to have a run.
He's going to have a run.
don't kill.
You know what I'm saying?
But shit, they pros now.
So, you know,
pros got to play against pros.
That's like I thought,
Charles Badaico,
when they played Florida yesterday
and they start beating them.
They were just like,
G, league dropout.
I'm like, that's crazy.
Yeah.
Now if you go back,
you got to kill.
That's my problem.
You got to kill.
If you go back,
they go back average 10, they got to spend.
Now you guys put them
on now I got to go back.
And average 25.
You got back on you.
See y'all.
See y'all.
You're fucking with you then.
I don't like it.
They don't make more money.
Yeah.
Like, it's all everybody's paid.
Like I never want to stop your president.
Like I seen D.W.
So he's going back.
He ain't never go.
But shit, it's your time.
How old is he?
He cool.
He don't matter.
He might be 20.
What, Brony?
Probably 23.
So he probably 23.
Now, that was the thing we'll fuck shit up.
And Brody went back to USC.
That'd have been fired.
No, that's hard.
That's hard.
But he already.
I think Brian and Brian should go to Ohio State.
And Brian and Brian.
All three of them.
Brin' boys.
Yeah.
He worked 23, so he do.
Hey, bro, I got four years.
Fuck it.
He need to go to Marquette.
I'm cool with that.

I love the sounds.
The buzzing from the stadium, the chanting from the fans, the announcers calling the place.
Soccer. Football.
It's home.
Why do I watch the World Cup?
That's like asking me, why do I breed?
I inherited that fandom from my mom.
I like watching it with my dad.
It's a connecting force.
From Futuro Studios, I'm Fernanda Chavari, and this is American Football,
a show about soccer culture in the U.S. and its underdog roots.
We go beyond the game to the people and the stories that make it great.
A soccer game is a festival.
She has a game.
It's your culture.
I took an elbow to my head, which cracked my skull.
It is an American game.
The Brazilians don't like hearing that, though.
Are they the only ones that don't like that?
Nobody likes that.
As we get ready for the Men's World Cup this summer,

Jeterrito Hernandez.
Everyone sees me as a football player,
but before anything else, I'm human.
Every single day I'm still learning how to live with problems,
mistakes, relationships, emotions ever since I was born.
And I still have so many questions.
Where do we come from?
What happens after death?
How do you deal with cancellation?
Cristiano or Messi?
Do aliens exist?
What is love?
Real Madrid or Varsa?

It is a carac.
Wow.
Listen to learning to be human
on IHard Radio, Apple Podcasts,
whenever you get your podcast.
Well, that's like the N-T.
They average the NBA.
They average age like 25.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I told a dude.
Oh, that's too.
Hey, hold on.
Hold on them.
And nobody say nothing about them.
No.
We were respecting the signal.
I'm going to hop in the portal and then it was good.
That's real shit.
See, look, average age is 23.
That's how we here.
We good money.
I just don't.
They all seem.
Just being pros and going back to play with the youngsters.
That's crazy.
Because if I'm not going to, if I'm not going
and I don't have better years than AJ DeBassel or,
oh boy from Kansas, it's quiet, bro.
I think the real issue.
They're not better than them, though.
And Jeff probably, no.
You know you coach in high school.
So, like, I think the high school kids get the short end of all of this shit.
Yeah.
Because it's like, your coaches just in the portal or they're going to get.
Yes, bro.
So, like, it's harder for a high school kid to get recruited and come in and play.
You got to be, like, stupid nice.
You got to be McDonald's All-American now.
Yeah.
But, like you say, you look right now.
now, and the best player, some of them, at least, and they're saying right now,
all freshmen was show.
And they're putting belts to all the old niggins too.
But I like it because, like, if you, you know, a lot of people want to go high major
and they go there and they don't play right away or get a chance or they might play
a junior senior year.
Now you can go to a lower level school, a D, lower D1, mid-major.
If you're really good, you're going to shine there.
I agree with you on that.
I like that, though.
I'm saying, do you bring these motherfuckers back to the college?
Do they get drafted now?
It's quiet.
No, it's over with.
You ain't going back, back, damn back.
Yeah, it's over.
It's crazy.
Wait to y'all see.
Chay you drafted twice.
Make sure y'all remember this thing.
They're trying to get higher level for overseas.
You guys, y'all remember this day.
But see, I can get drafted twice.
It's crazy.
I wait for the person to go back and really kill it.
I wait to the 125, bro, go back to college and go to the final four.
Yes, bro.
I want to see that.
Yeah, I do too.
I do.
I think all the rules should be the same.
If we're going to let Europeans do or people from overseas or foreign,
people would like let them come.
Whatever they should be able to do, we should be able to do.
And I think the NBA is going to step in at some point
and make it make sense because, like, ultimately, the league will be better
if those leagues are better.
If college and the G league is better, that's going to give us better players, too.
They'll step in at some point.
The league is going to have to step in because I would never go to,
I wouldn't go straight to the G league.
You're going straight to the G league.
I would never go to college.
I go into G league first and see if I can make it to the league.
I can't go to college.
Yeah.
I would never step on college campus first.
For what?
Yeah.
I got a chance to go back.
I go overseas.
I'll do all that stuff first.
Damn, that's funny.
For sure.
Man, that is crazy.
I can go back.
It's a hell of a fallback player, but it just looked crazy, bro.
Like, we were talking about it.
You being on campus with fucking 19-year-old.
Yeah, bro.
I mean, you get paid so I ain't think of college, so I see why people will go, though.
Like true
It's free money
They need to open
Straight out of high school again though
Because like
Yeah because Darren Peterson
Hey J. DeBenzuela
That was pointless bro
Yeah those are those in bad players
Yeah that's pointless
We're in college right now
I know they're making a lot of money
But shit
What are we doing bro
Yeah they both of them is pros
Yeah
Cooper black
Well he did a year
Come on boy
Pointless years
Yeah
Yeah that is crazy
Shout to Stackhouse
Not stockouts
I got Jamal Majburn
bro, Cooper Flag would have been top five this year, bro.
He said he was this year.
He reclassed for a reason.
I'm like, nah, bro.
Respect.
I know the freshman's cold,
but Cooper Flagg just Demmer had 50, bro.
Oh, he said he wouldn't have been top five.
Yeah, he said.
He'd have been number six.
He puts Dr. Umar on it.
So I ain't mad at it.
I get it.
I get him out.
I'm rolling as well.
But Cooper Flatt and Denver dropped 50.
No, he's nice.
If he was at Duke with Gambuzer right now.
Oh, my God.
Yeah, he'd be the number two pick.
And he'd age.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He'd ain't age.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
He's going to be a step ahead of now.
He got a year on now.
Yeah.
He's nice.
I fuck with his game.
Back to you, bro.
When you first got your real footing in the league, how that feel, man?
We got your shot.
Man, shh.
My first deal, my first deal was two years and I signed another two year.
Yeah.
And then what?
So it was like two years, 18.
And, man, shit, that was it.
I was good.
I never looked back.
I never looked back.
You know what I'm saying?
I played a little bit, like 40 games in my rookie year.
I was like a backup my second year
and then I got a contract
so I'm like fuck
and then my third year we won the chip
hell yeah
I was like shit I'm lit
you know what I'm 25
got paid made some money
I was I was like
I'm here because like you think you good
you got confidence you know you good
you play against your peers
and shit like that
but you always waiting on
it's like I said some security
you know what I'm saying
especially when you come in
and you see like a guy that's drafted
lottery or the first round
they get four, five years to figure it out.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
So you had time with like, my shit was like,
you're just waiting on the opportunity.
You know what I mean?
And I got it down no deals.
No, hell, no.
I mean, I always tell people like,
they be getting that shit misconstrued, bro.
Like, you only can operate with the deal that's on the table.
It's a fact.
What's on the table?
So you'd be turned down some shit that's on the table for some shit that is imaginary.
Yeah.
So whatever to be.
best deal on the table is that's what I'm going to
every time.
That's the Jeff Teebond right there.
I'm still like for Gabe Quinn
Gras. He's going to get money, but
shout to QG. That's a hell of a gamble.
I told Cam Thomas said, though.
You did. You don't leave that chain.
You got to take that money, bro. You don't know what's going to happen.
And the fucked up part about the NBA is
they'll, they'll do you dirty
if you don't take it.
Yeah.
The president's still in y'all.
No, I would be.
You're in president to tell you.
It's just business.
I think even more so than basketball, just business.
Like, how can you negotiate with some shit
that you don't even have available to you?
Like, I know I'm worth more than that.
Like, all right.
Yeah, you work for they pay.
They tell you what you work.
Yeah.
You work more.
A motherfucker's a motherfucker willing to pay you.
And then when you don't, you're in a tunnel trying to smack people.
The market failure, bro.
You got to put hands and feet to people
because they disrespect to your paycheck.
Did you do something crazy with that first piece of change?
Nah, I'd really be chilling.
I bought a roly.
Yeah.
That was like my first thing.
I bought a roly.
I had already bought my mama crib
when I, on my first deal.
I was making like 500,000 my first year.
Then my second year was 900.
So I bought my mom a crib.
And then, man, we went to Vegas, though.
We definitely went to Vegas.
Out the gate.
Took all the guys to Vegas.
We signed and then we flew with the management
from Toronto to Vegas for Summer League.
And, yeah, we had a time.
We had like a three-four-day trip.
Oh, yeah.
Fresh off the bag.
Ooh.
I bought a roly.
That was it, though.
I don't know.
I was just...
Yeah, you're from a small town, though.
Yeah.
And your journey is a little bit different.
He had to fight for that spot.
He was like, I'm enjoying this bread.
I'm happy.
I got it.
I'm up with that.
And I was like a regular person before I was in the NBA.
Like, when I was in college, I was lit.
But like, bro, I was a regular person.
Like, nobody know who I am.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, I wasn't coming in.
I'm just a superstar and everybody kissing my ass.
Like, I had to grind for that shit.
So it was a little bit easier for me when I got the money.
I still fuck.
some money up.
No, yeah, yeah, for sure.
For sure.
You know what I'm saying, as we all do, but I think, like, jury and shit like that,
cars, but, hell no, I worked too hard for mine.
No, that's a nutshell.
Like you said, getting in the rotation, and you look at that squad of people, y'all
have everybody, damners, still around, still thriving.
They all-stars.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He got a squad.
Come on, bro.
Everybody became my all-star.
Haskell.
No.
N. Peezy got his first all-star bid.
Yeah.
You know my got a freaky Peeze.
My guy.
Yeah, my God, P skills, four-time.
First ballot now being first ballot.
I'm fucking with it.
I just think, you know, P. Skills, you can holl at me if you feel away.
I thought you had to be in a winning team to make the All-Star game.
I don't hate nobody, All-Star Nyes, but.
It's the East, man.
Anything goes in the East, man.
He's still living off the 2015 snub of LaMello ball.
That's what he all right now.
Well, last year.
Yeah, like Lamello didn't make it, bro.
And P. Skills got in.
That's bullshit.
I ain't gonna hate, bro.
I think, I'm saying real shit, like,
under the rules,
no, I think when you're the president,
right, look,
I think when it comes down to it now,
when you get to that point,
you're gonna pick somebody that's already been in there
over somebody that's never been in.
Like I said, you gotta,
you gotta have repeat years.
Yeah.
I'm defending my man, obviously.
At the same time,
at the same time,
I think it do,
you'll pick somebody that's already been an all-star,
then you will pick somebody that's not an all-
It don't work like, oh,
he that's not an MVP they'll give to somebody
that never had it before they do like doing that shit
motor fatigue is real MVP but I don't know
this the coaches so I think you know the coaches
for the reserves that's that's who you need to be talking to
and he's an international player though yeah
so you know they got the international world
world Craig USA versus the world
you ain't rolling I ain't mad at you got your thing
because I don't want a friend you feel me he
I don't want to
The ban trod and too much.
No, shit.
I want to hear what you think, but.
Bullshit.
I am, man.
That's how you feel, man.
Because there's too many rules to make the All-Star Tate.
I swear to God, the needle moves every year, bro.
MPJ should have been awesome.
Trash, bro.
Skills is a killer.
Oh, God, he can hoot.
Oh, my mama, you shouldn't be no All-Smart, bro.
So you like...
No team horrible, bro.
You like MPJ over him.
Yes.
Yes, bro.
I left my...
I left my fuck that 6-7.
I left my trash-ass team that didn't fuck with me.
Yeah.
And I'm over here killing now, bro.
No.
I'm killing.
I got my own team.
Like, I left a championship team.
My fault, not trash-ass.
A championship team.
Now I'm the man.
I'm averaging 25.
No, he's very deserving.
I think I'm never taking him over Pascal.
Anything basketball-related.
Ever.
No, no.
Y'all real basketball players, though, bro.
But the all-star game, nigga,
throw that my fuck between his legs.
That's the other thing.
That's the other thing, too.
That would be my argument is, like,
I think those lists should be different lists.
Who going to put the best All-Star game on?
Yeah.
The All-Star game should always have a Trey Young,
a Lamello,
Kyrie.
That's exciting.
But we're talking about just, like,
the best players or, like, the best season.
I'm not taking him over Pascal, bro.
I respect your.
Nah, if we're doing a draft,
on God give me Pascal
every time
I'm talking about
for the excitement of this game
yeah
like respect bro
we need NPJ volleyball
line 30
coming to see
LeMello
and NEPJ
not Pascal
it's always
he's African too
so you know
on the world shit
yeah
but it's always guys
that's deserving
to be all stars
that don't make it
every year
yeah
it's gonna be a snub
every year
BIA
you just don't want it to be you
yeah
Bia does
to be in there.
That's a fact this year.
Because cat and a nice cast lead in there this year.
Yeah.
New York.
Yeah, that is crazy.
Respectfully, I mean, it's crossing these towns.
But all-star year, I'm asleep.
But the East is?
I mean, he really played.
I mean, his numbers still say,
all-star.
Bro, they didn't.
He was about to say this nigga I'm about to be on the world, bro.
But he's playing like an all-star.
What's cat numbers?
He played like a cat.
He's a 13.
It's going to be respectable because it's cat, for sure.
And they what, top four in the East?
Yeah, he's an all-star.
playing like an all-star, bro.
We just expect him to play like an all-year.
20 and 11?
All right, 2011.
20 and 12, I'm in round up.
I'm going to respect it.
20-12 is a solid number.
Kill it, bro.
All these niggins.
I just think that's a bad year for Ket.
That's a all-guard.
Go to join B numbers.
I know.
I know he ain't going to ever qualify because he'll play a different look for the league.
No, I'm going to put it.
Right.
So now, because I'm in this seat now and I'm in these conversation,
what would y'all change?
Go back to the regular jerseys.
Now that I'm talking about that.
Nostalgia.
And B, I know he'll play that much,
but 27, 7, 7 is fucking crazy.
He's balling.
Now that I'm talking to the motherfucker president,
get this off my goddamn...
Let's get it.
Listen.
I don't get right.
All these goddamn, I get it, bro.
The foreigners, they run the league,
top players.
I get it.
But all these people playing these,
the American,
play the foreigner,
and then you got them play the G-League.
Then you play the,
American team, then the winners out of that, play each other,
then the first to 12.
Like, all that's bullshit, bro.
Go back to when it was a regular, they get matchups.
Like, the best 12 versus the best 12, no matter where you're from.
You like East West or?
Yeah, East West or just blended.
We just want to see the All-Star game be a regular NBA game again, bro.
Yeah.
I'm with you.
I'll be having these same conversations, but I think the fans got more
more input than they think they got
because Adam ultimately the league is listening
to what the fans want,
what they want to see.
He don't have like a bias either way,
you know what I'm saying?
But we do got to fix this shit.
We got to dress it.
You know what I'm saying?
I think my thing was I said the jersey.
It was a simple thing.
Come on, bro.
Go back to like the jerseys.
Nike used to do the shoes.
Everybody had like a specific shoe.
And I think you just get the best 24,
the top 24.
and figure out a way to separate the All-Star
from the All-NBA shit.
You know what I'm saying?
Because it's like two different things.
I'm rolling.
I might want to be an all-star
just for my contractor for my purposes
on some Jimmy Butler's shit,
but I might not even actually want to play.
That's a fact.
You know what I mean?
Or I'm hurt.
Yeah.
But then you're taking away
from somebody else that could get in there too.
So, no, I'm with you.
But NBC Olympics coming up,
that's where the world shit comes from.
And the NBA is obviously,
Dabbin of the European stuff.
I'm certain a couple years.
Oh, half teams over there.
The game is played in America, man.
Damn, man.
Take that shit.
They're having games over.
Take that shit to China, bro.
He's playing each other, bro.
If y'all do that, I will play.
Bring back the vibes, man.
They used to being something, bro.
It used to seeing Jordan and goddamn Irish and in Shaq and whoever else, bro.
He mad.
He's like that, though, still.
I think he would be.
I talked to a couple of young guys this year.
that said they're going to go put on the show.
So I'm hoping I ain't going to say who it is.
Wimpey said he on that.
He said, I don't know if everybody playing hard, but I am.
I'm hoping that the young next guys,
once the old guys get out the way,
the young next guys can bring that back.
Because, like, the old, I mean, what, Brian,
22 years in the road, like, you know what I'm saying?
And he put on a show every year,
but it's just hard, like, for them to fly somewhere
and then putting them in these bullshit cities.
You know what I want to see?
I want to see.
Aunt go at Shea.
I was going to be, like, calling him out, me and you.
Yes, bro.
Yeah, we need aunt to play harder.
Yeah, you can't do that?
We need, we need, we need Ant to play.
Hey, what do you shoot all left-hand shots last year?
Yeah, we need to play, to-lock in, bro.
If he'd go out, Shay, then we good.
Because the done contest is already gone, bro, after smithing rings.
Yeah, it's not coming back.
What's my, what's my white boy from Georgetown?
You know.
Mac McClain?
Y'all didn't wash that nigga and rinsed him off and wrung him out and washed him and rinse like, he's cooked.
Yeah.
He said he was tired.
He is a four-time.
I mean, and that nigga can't stay in the league.
Hey.
He'll save his life.
They put the pop-offs lady next to him.
He's like, I'm tired.
Say me on every week.
He's going to use me like this for this one fucking week here.
He gets a little 10 day.
He gets a little 10 day right before the break of work.
He might get a 10 day tomorrow.
Bread, bro.
That might be $100,000 in 10.
Listen, don't play with my emotions.
Y'all be having this nigga go and do all this shit,
jump over people and cars and shit,
sign a nigga and they can play 12 games.
We'll call you next year.
Yeah, bro, it's me.
But listen, if you get all the names, if you get the name that you want in there
and they go out there and miss and do all that,
then people are going to kill them.
Oh, no, no, no, no, no.
It's hard to have a dunk contest of 2020.
and no disrespect to Matt.
Didn't nobody give a fuck if he made or missed it.
No, I'm with you on that.
But if VJ and them young niggas get out there
and all of them get out there and try some crazy shit,
it's going to be exciting.
Yeah, they might miss it,
but at least you get to see the best players in the league.
Or you don't even got to be the best players.
It could be a medium-tier guy.
I think it's a good example for me.
Like, I think Jalen Brown did it.
Yeah.
Like a year or two ago.
Yeah.
Or when...
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
That's what I'm like a lot.
It don't help you.
No turbo dunk.
No help, bro.
I ain't, Mike, right here, I ain't going to say done.
When Zach and Aaron Gordon.
Aaron Gordon did it.
Top three dunk contest.
They ain't the best players in the league.
They're like special dunkers, though.
That's what we need.
No more dunks, bro.
It ain't no more.
BJ, yeah, it is.
One's true, bro.
Oh, God.
Both the Thompson twins get in there.
These YouTubers be clowning, bro.
Yeah, they dunk every.
They are basketball players, bro.
They move, they work on that game.
They shoot three.
Because you put a million dollars up and think that would entice people to do
and say, all right, million dollar drug contests.
Who fucking did it?
Yeah, but I also, we just had this conversation, too.
I also, I don't want to keep, like, throwing money in his face, too.
Like, everything got a dollar amount to it.
Like, oh, y'all got to play hard.
We're going to give you money.
Like, no, yeah, some shit got to be for the love of the game, too.
I'm rolling, wrong.
I'm rolling.
Like, because that's going to bring more out of it than, like, yes,
it should be a prize, some type of incentive.
But at some point, like,
Come on, bro. This is what we love to do, too.
I don't think you argue your million dollars to play in it
because y'all might get out there bullshit.
To win it, you got a chance.
But then you're leaving it up to the judge
and now you're ready to fight.

I love the sounds, the buzzing from the stadium, the chanting from the fans, the announcers calling the place
soccer, football, it's home.
It's not just a game.
It's your culture.
I took an elbow to my head, which cracked my skull.
It is an American game.
The Brazilians don't like hearing that, though.
Are they the only ones that don't like that?
Nobody likes that.

It is part of it's because their new star is Javier T. Torito Hernandez.
Everyone sees me as a friend of me.
football player, but before anything else, I'm human. Every single day, I'm still learning how to
live with problems, mistakes, relationships, emotions ever since I was born. And I still have
so many questions. Where do we come from? What happens after death? How do you deal with cancellation,
Cristiano or Messi? Do aliens exist? What is love? Real Madrid or Varsa? From every day
and ordinary to the deep and extraordinary. This isn't a normal podcast. Everything here is
spontaneous, real and genuine. This podcast is like a deep talk with your closest friends, where
vulnerability comes out. Conspiracy theories end up on the table and goals and lessons are
all in this life has an order perfect and all is just.
Wait me, I'm here to present me but we're going to connect. We are here to connect.

I'm something.
Well,
if you give me a 40-time.
Another thing y'all need to do.
Now, hold on, do you,
you over the All-Star?
You help pick.
We have a comment on.
All right.
Y'all need to get some niggas to
see now.
That's religious.
Yeah.
Get some motherfuckers who can see straight.
I think NBC doing, I think, uh, uh,
uh, uh,
I said the mailman.
That's what they call.
The mail box.
Yeah.
Them have your problem in Utah with a fucking choice.
Uh,
uh,
look at my friend.
Yeah.
Look at first guy.
Bye.
Go ahead.
You boys.
I'm in a behind me.
You feel like,
you feel like me right now.
He's like,
ah,
crazy,
I don't want,
let's thread my guy.
You don't have to respond
to nothing that I'm saying.
I want you just to hear what I'm saying.
Hey,
more,
let's go all the way.
I said,
the mill, man,
any nigga that played in the 80s,
you paint,
motherfucking watch these young niggas.
You pop-paw,
you know what I mean?
Throwing it out water.
I think we got
Vince, T-Mack.
There it is.
You like them?
Yeah, hell, yeah.
I fuck with them.
I'm on ABT Borkin.
They're going to create.
The dunk contest because all them had hops,
all them understand what to look for
and some shit like that.
Okay, the judges this year,
Kevin Garnett,
I'm rolling,
Tracy McGrady,
Baron Davis and Jason Richardson.
I'm fucking with him.
I don't got no leave.
I'm fucking with that.
That's what I'm telling.
That's what I'm asking.
That's what I'm going to ask you.
Because I fuck with y'all.
Just don't be with them motherfuckies
that just sit up here and just shit on shit.
Give us some solution.
I'm rolling.
I'll be trying.
Listen.
People listen.
I'll be trying, bro.
I don't be trying shit on that.
But clearly somebody listened.
Y'all went for a lot.
I just got it in there.
Let me work.
I didn't.
Now, my next motion is,
Jericho says, can never do a dunk contest again.
After that, that's one.
That's the third of y'all's a wrestler.
That's true.
Listen, man.
I had out to Jack.
It ain't the, he do jump hot.
He's dumb hot.
But when he held that,
I don't know for the 50s me off.
There ain't no more dunks, bro.
Yeah.
We ran out of dunks, it's no more.
Listen, it's a kid before every day.
Would you write?
Niggas, there's some dunks left.
It ain't no.
A lot of things.
Like, what y'all think about, like,
horse or some shit like that?
Or 1 v1.
Some pro bowl shit or 1v1.
Like something else different than what we don't got right now.
Oh, I'd like to see 1v1.
All-Sar ones or King of the Hill?
Three dribbled.
Something.
The only thing I'm worried about with that is, yeah.
Wands don't look like how I look on.
Instagram in real life.
That is, on God.
Shout out to the next chapter.
You might go 15 minutes without a motherfucker
making a shot.
So I don't know if that make good TV.
Nah.
And you need a rap too.
And you need a rap, baby.
Ain't nobody giving them a moment.
If y'all went to five,
you got three dribbles or seven seconds.
They have to play off, like, not live.
They have to just show it.
That's what I'm worried about with the ones.
It don't really go like that in real life.
People playing hard.
Because the three-point contest is going to be the three-point contest.
That's exciting.
That's the best event.
But I'm thinking, like, there's got to be something else you could do some type of shooting competition or something.
But definitely will make that been so exciting.
Yeah.
I'm cool with that, but that's a shoot.
It's only so much, nigga.
I mean, it's a premium in the league.
So many ways you can shoot a three, then.
I'll fuck with it because they brought the land.
They brought the land.
It was a whole rack one time.
Yeah.
It's going to be crazy.
I didn't have.
The girls in the right.
Or y'all kicked them out.
I didn't do nothing.
I just got in there.
He's great.
I don't know what's got,
what they got going on.
I support,
I support the women.
Shout out to the W and all that.
You tell me what's going on.
This is him every day.
I hope y'all know that.
No,
we're watching.
We're just walking around.
Like,
I might change up a little bit.
I might be like a little more political.
When we all camera,
I might say some shit I really feel.
Yeah.
He said,
this nigga here,
that I'd be like,
no,
I didn't mean to say that.
I'd be to ask you that.
No, I really don't know.
I don't have nothing to do it.
You did the skill challenge, didn't you?
Yeah, don't talk about my perspective.
I'm saying when he did that shit, bro, it was huge.
He was looking up.
Yeah.
But I'm saying, he missed everything that he did in that.
They could have got rid of that shit, though.
You was nervous, bro.
You didn't even want to do it.
He didn't want to do it.
I just didn't get the first layup, nigga.
Yeah, you didn't want to be out there is what I'm saying.
No, I tried to win the second time I did it.
Right.
I was, I was trying to win the block.
Yeah, I was serious.
A horse.
I'll fuck with that.
If you put the horse.
I think people literally love this shit
and they care about it, so we talk about it.
But, like, you look around.
Don't nobody else care about MLB, NFL,
pro-ball is a joke.
Like, everything else is just like,
when it comes to the All-Star game,
it's just like everybody got something to say about it.
Yeah, the only thing that's nobody's MLB.
Oh, they got CP in there.
Oh, but four!
Now, I missed the layer because Kevin Hart going to say before he said,
hey, nicked, don't miss the lay up.
And what I do?
Oh, you don't know.
Now, this is the one I was trying to win.
Oh, yeah, this is a different one.
This one I was trying to win.
What city is this?
This might be New York.
Yeah, that's New York.
Oh, damn, I wouldn't know pass with her.
I said, yeah.
See, my world went on for this, sis.
What the fuck?
A long two?
Long two.
Yeah, what the hell?
J.R. Smith, shots?
Man, it's a...
Oh, damn, see.
I don't know what year this for.
Oh, yeah.
Well, I'm saying, they bullshit.
Bro, it's 37.
It's over.
Yeah, cut this shit off.
the math.
It's like,
oh,
maybe,
you know,
if you're
sitting,
and if you're
a little
about him.
Don't worry about
the king.
I shot my
first three
other side of
backboard.
They didn't
make point
contest.
Damn.
I was mad as fuck.
I was mad as fuck,
man.
And I was hurt.
Was you nervous?
What?
I ain't ever
been nervous in my life.
I'm talking shit.
I'm doing my thing.
I'm feeling good.
I went to pick the ball up,
bro.
My biceps strength,
bro.
I picked the ball up.
I shot up.
That motherfucker off that.
And from the corner, up the side of the back,
where I didn't know my homie that morning,
because they talked me into doing it.
I didn't want to do it.
Come on, bro, we're a all-star, bro.
You from Riper, do the three-point contest.
Yeah, fair.
Everybody from Rifle for Rifle never made to the All-Star game.
That's right, right.
Oh, shit.
Yeah, bro, I was so nervous.
You got the only thing going on in the whole room.
Yeah, bro.
All of us to watch you are.
They got, they got.
Mike, man.
You're in a real.
Why? Look at a replay on my ass.
I did the practice upstairs.
It's in Cleveland, so we did the practice gym upstairs.
I broke a record.
The dude was gasped me like, man,
nobody never practiced like this before.
You're going to do great.
Yeah.
They got wicked.
You're the only thing on the court,
I've never been nervous like that ever in my life,
but I'm a different.
I mean, R-star weekend.
Like you said, MLB, at least they put it to where
the winning, you know,
so get home for the advantage in the World Series.
That'd be crazy in the NBA if that happened because a lot of people would be pissed off.
I think this year going to be better, man.
I'm hopeful because it's L.A.
You know what I'm saying?
We got a good mix.
It's NBC.
I hope this year is better.
And I'm not going off of ratings.
I'm not going off none of that shit.
I'm just going off like all the vibes.
All I care about is the vibe in the game.
Yeah.
I don't even care about Saturday.
I want the all-star game to become that people watch.
Like, are they hooping.
You know what I'm trying to tell me.
And I think it would because, like you said,
concentrated efforts.
Everybody's talking about it for years now.
Even the players have been more vocal, so I think it'll be dope for sure.
What was that like for you, though, making an all-star team, hearing your name called?
But that shit was unbelievable, bro.
Like, I still can't believe it.
You know what I'm saying?
I'd be laughing.
Y'all be talking about the one-time All-Star shit, but, like, I was cool.
You know what I mean?
Like, it just came to the point where, you know, my whole story up into that point,
like, I thought I could do it because a year before I was, like, 19 or something or 18 and I was 20,
some shit like that, something in that range.
And before the season, Nick Nurse was like, man,
we might need you to score 24, 25 a night.
I'm like, oh, I never had nobody tell me nothing like that.
I always get like a play defense, get guys the ball.
Yeah.
And I'm like, oh, okay, they see it.
So I'm hooping that year.
You know what I'm like first option type shit.
Pascal was hurt.
But it was dope to come all the way down to that point.
And then only what fucked it up was I got hurt.
Yeah.
I hit my knee on the floor like a week or two weeks before.
for Austin.
But I ain't tell nobody
because I didn't want to give up my spot.
Out the gate.
I was limping around the whole weekend.
So that part kind of ruined
and it was Cleveland.
It was ass.
It was cold.
I didn't have a good experience.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like making it to the All-Star game
and being in the locker room
and it was the NBA 75 that year
when they were out of the legends back.
So like it was all of us and all of them.
Like that's something that I never forget.
I couldn't have never imagined
nothing like that.
You was there
because we had different people tell us about
like when they said Michael Jordan
name compared to everybody else.
What was it like? So it's exactly
what they said because you got to think
I mean you, so like you got like
the rehearsal.
So like I said, we was upstairs, we was taking
pictures and I was kind of like just chilling off
to the side like behind what's watching
everybody. I'm looking at AI. I'm looking at
everybody. And everybody's in there.
Everybody except for Mike.
So like, you know, the chatter started
You know, like, oh, Mike ain't coming here don't fuck with us
or he don't fuck with them.
You know, they got the old, they got going on.
So all the way down to they doing the intros,
they're walking out.
You know what I'm saying?
Nobody ain't seen him.
So nobody didn't see him until they called his name.
Oh, that's crazy.
Until he was walking out, right?
But he wasn't going out.
So it was like the 75 was going crazy.
The guys on the court was going crazy first.
Oh, damn, that's why.
So then when they came out.
called him out, it was like, he was like the last one.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, yeah.
And he different.
Yeah, he different.
In that world, he different.
Yeah.
That's what's showing for me.
Because, like, you know what the fans think or, you know what I'm saying, media or whatever.
But like for your peers, guys that's older you, guys that's younger than you guys you played against.
So respect.
For him to be the guy in that setting right there, I was like, damn, okay, that's different.
That's what they be talking about.
Yeah, he's number one.
Yeah.
That would make you look at some.
Yeah, you.
That's what they be talking about
when they like,
ain't nobody fucking with Mike.
Yeah.
I've seen it in real life,
you know what I'm saying?
For sure.
When he told magic,
we have shoes at,
lay some up right now.
That's what I need to do.
All-Star weekend,
Isaiah Thomas.
That's what we need.
Lining up.
The first one of you won,
MJ, Isaiah Thomas.
I ain't a lot of Zika ain't going.
They're going to be banging.
Man, what?
Zick's going to fight.
Because he's still hanging.
Yeah.
Zika still hate to this day.
They're going to be banging.
What was that moment like,
obviously,
you was in Toronto,
know you had the corner source of the franchise with Kyle and DeMarro.
That trade happened.
What was your first reaction to that?
That shit was crazy.
It was like, man, that was like my welcome to the business moment.
You know what I'm saying?
It was like, obviously, everybody had a welcome to the NBA.
But that was the first thing.
It was like, oh, this shit ain't a game.
It's not AAU.
It's not college.
Like, because I was with DeMari in Vegas.
And this is when the rumors started coming out.
And so basically the rumors started coming out.
And then they was like, nah, it ain't true.
So, like, I seen him and Maasai talking.
I don't not, you know, whatever they talked about, they talked about.
But, like, from seeing them talking at Summer League
to we had, like, a team dinner.
Some teams do team dinners at Summer League.
They bring them up because he had made all NBA the year before.
Great.
They bring them up in front of the whole team.
Like, hey, DeMar, you know what I'm saying?
All NBA, whatever it was.
I forgot the specific award.
And they like, yeah, next year,
DeMarre, he's going to be playing defense
and he's going to take another step
and we're going to come back.
And then it was like a couple of days later,
the trade came through.
I'm like, damn, wow.
Crazy, isn't it crazy game, bro?
Wow.
So imagine, you know what I'm saying?
Just knowing him and how he felt,
he got his own, you know, story of how it went.
But from my position, I was just like, damn.
And then the flip side was,
the first report was that Kauai didn't want to
come back.
That made even worse.
It was like we traded our men for somebody that don't even want to be here.
This was the narrative at the time.
But all that is shit.
It worked out.
Kauai is the O-G.
It definitely did.
He's the OG to DPU.
No, for sure.
That's the reason why I made it up.
And then at that point, I hadn't played against Kauai, I think, but one time,
that was my first two years because he was hurt.
So I only played again, I didn't see him.
We didn't either, Nick.
So I ain't, he had some years off and said at the studio before he got that.
I ain't know what we was getting because he was going through the injury thing at the time.
So like, I ain't know what we was getting.
So I'm just like, man, damn.
Damar's my brother.
Yeah.
To this day.
I'm saying, like, that's my dude.
So I was fucked up about that.
And then Kauai came and we was in training camp.
And I was like, okay, I get it.
I get it.
I know why they did it.
You know what I'm a business.
Right.
It was tough.
Hearing you talk about in your pot and stuff was just,
He was just like, I don't know why he traded for me, but fucking I'm here.
Yeah.
And like, that was just the, the move.
Because you have, I think he really only talked to Kyle and maybe like surge, you know what I'm saying, here and there.
But he's not like a big energy guy, clearly.
We see.
He cool, though, in real life.
He's talking way more than what he do to the media.
But like, if he come in the room and everybody in there, he's not fun to just be the class clown in the room.
So I ain't really had that many conversations with him.
But his whole thing was just like, shit.
I told y'all before y'all traded for me, like, I ain't, you know,
what are you doing?
But that make it even more impressive to me
because, like, he still came and did what he was supposed to do.
He still came, though.
Who?
He's the first NBA player to get a one and done situation.
Like, yeah, I got your ring.
All right, cool.
I can't believe.
I wouldn't left.
I don't know how he left, bro.
It's him.
Yeah, he's the only person in that history of the world
that would have did that, you know.
Only him.
Yeah, I was left, too.
he got to work from home for the clippers.
You see what he was on?
He was like, bro, I live in a thing.
He got to go all the way.
You had to be there, bro.
You had to be there, bro.
I'm talking about to have a whole country, bro,
like, bound down, like a whole country.
They said, we'll give you free rent,
whatever you need.
There was it, though, winning that championship,
because...
And I don't do that.
I can see it lower.
Oh.
No, they don't do it.
I don't want to talk about a Milwaukee bug nothing.
You don't have to worry about that, brother.
You were not the only champion in the cable.
You love it.
Oh, God, I want for the hell last.
No third.
Respect, Lord.
Before we get to the ship,
your reaction would quiet
that shot to get over the Sixers.
That was crazy.
Yeah, I was jumping around like a little kid
because you got to think I had a terrible series.
Worst basketball in my life.
Damn.
I was just happy we was getting more game.
You know what I ain't want to go out like that.
My whole, I probably wouldn't even be sitting here.
The whole rest of my career would have been different if
we lose that game seven because I didn't.
can get hot till after that.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
I was shit up into that point.
So to see, like, you know, I'm on the bench.
It was in front of our bench to see.
I'm like, oh, damn.
I'm talking about we all was just happy to get out of that series.
They Philly gave us a hell of a series.
Yeah, that was a tough bad.
That was a tough team.
I know it's different times, but we talk about it.
That was the Ben Simmons that we all grew to love.
That Ben Simmons was cold.
And B2, the process.
They had a whip.
Yeah, he was different.
They was Jimmy.
They was Jimmy.
Jay J.
They had a lot.
It was a big-ass team.
I think James Ennis was on that team.
Yeah, that was a good team.
Who was that deal, bro?
He did that deal.
That's the best.
That's the best shit I ever seen, like, in person, like, watching him in the playoffs.
I ain't seen the playoffs.
The playoffs is different.
You know what I'm saying?
KD changed the way I view everything this year because it's just like, it's so easy for him.
Yeah.
And he really be chilling, like, he don't, like, do too much.
He just wait.
He can go a couple minutes without touching the ball.
He won't say nothing.
He goes to stand in the corner.
He ain't a thirsty hook.
Nah.
And then he just don't miss.
Like, he don't miss.
Who you think makes it look easier, him or Shea?
Katie.
I think so close.
Yeah.
She's shit looks so easy.
Like, when I watch him play basketball, he's,
yo, he's not even sweating, bro.
It does.
Yeah, I think I'm only saying from the standpoint of Katie,
he's seven feet tall.
So, like, watching him shoot a midi over Wimby,
That's crazy.
He don't see Wimby.
That's crazy.
You know what I'm saying?
He don't see bodies.
He don't see the help.
He don't see the third guy.
He don't touch the rim.
She is special, though.
That's kind of how I feel about Shay, though.
Like, when I watch him, I feel like he don't see nobody.
He gets to that middy step back.
Yeah.
And look like he out there by himself.
He's working out.
He's doing a workout.
What?
Yeah, he's doing a workout.
And he's doing a workout.
And he's, what, 60% almost?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, that's just crazy.
That's just insane.
And he's just 37.
So it's like.
Yeah.
And it still looked crazy.
He's still the greatest score I ever seen.
Oh, 1,000%.
It's like, you just can't bother him, you know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
You can't make him do nothing he don't want to do.
And it's just every day.
So you see KD in the finals, though.
What was that like actually making it to the finals?
And what was like playing in the moment?
You played to get some of the greats too in that situation.
And you got your shirt off as well.
Yeah.
No, it was a blessing.
It was an opportunity.
That's all you want.
Just, like, have an opportunity to be there.
World State.
Our hardest series was the Philly series.
We got to Milwaukee.
Milwaukee went down 02 and then we beat them four times in a row.
Light work.
And then we go finals.
KD was hurt.
So we went game one, easy.
Like, I remember walking out.
We like, damn, we wasn't celebrating or nothing.
We was walking out.
We went to the locker.
I was like, damn, this shit's sweet.
You know what I'm saying?
Because they was built to be with KD.
Without KD, we felt good.
But yeah, I mean, shit, Steph, Clay.
Like, to be chasing stuff around.
We're playing boxing one and shit in the NBA finals.
And I'm the one.
You're the one.
I'm pacing them around.
Like, man, it was just an incredible opportunity.
And, you know, being able to make the most of that shit was special.
Yeah, you got to get a ring against some of the greats, too.
That's far.
Yeah.
And I like, I always tell people, because they was like, well, you got this stuff so good.
I'm like, bro, I'm playing a man in a box.
So he still had 50 in the finals.
Like, he gave me 50.
Like, and I was in a boxing one.
And we was trapping him every time.
And he was out there by itself.
Oh, God.
You know what I'm saying?
Yes.
He's different.
You say the best you guard it?
It's different.
Karee is different for me.
Yeah.
Because he's like, go,
Karee don't run no plays.
You want him.
He's no like.
Welcome to this island.
Yeah, he's not passing it.
He might dribble it 27 times.
It's ugly.
Like, I always, after the game, like,
I mean, you need to see the chiropractor and shit.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Stop, go, boom, push off.
Like, he, I love playing against.
Kyrie, he the most challenging for me.
Steph is just like, you need the whole full team
because he's running off all the screens.
And you can't fall asleep.
You can't at all.
That's why I hate the guards.
Yeah.
I like people who go one-on-one.
I know where you're going to be at.
Yeah.
Like, when you start running around, I'm good as gone.
I'm going.
I lost him one time, I think in the finals,
the whole time I lost him one time and he got a wide-open three.
Every other time I was on him, I just looked for like two seconds.
He was on the other side of the court.
I'm like, dang.
You can't even preparing for no shit like that, but like, I tell everybody the toughest person to go out was D. Rose.
Like, how you sit there feel about Kyrie?
Yeah.
Yeah.
You knew where D. Rose was going to be at and he wasn't doing 50 moves.
Yeah, and it was no jumpers.
It's like.
Straight time.
Yeah, he took the rim.
Like, what?
Yeah, he's one of my favorite.
Shout out to D.
Legend.
Who the easiest to guard?
I'm bullshit.
Yeah, I ain't.
Yeah.
But I ain't going to lie, though.
I feel good out there, bro.
Like,
now you be cooking.
The guys that y'all love,
the guys that everybody love,
I feel good against most.
Mm.
You get them.
You get off, bro.
My thing always came down to, like,
how I play,
I wish I would have played more
like how I play a pickup in the NBA.
But the way I had to come in,
I had to, like,
go roll by roll by row.
You know what I'm saying?
I always prioritize winning
over, like, my own shit.
Yeah, what I'm saying?
So, and I can't do with it.
I'm six feet, you know?
Yeah, you did the right way.
Undathletic.
I can't do that shit every night.
That's what make it dynamic to me, though.
Yeah.
Like you're not, like, super athletic,
but you create space and you get to where you want to go,
and you're only six foot.
You're strong than the motherfucker, but he's strong.
But my boy said,
he went to my ring on Hans runs.
Yeah.
Like how I play, like, in the summertime,
it's just different.
But when it's time to, like, match up against the top guards,
it's like, that's what I like to do.
Yeah.
That's why.
And I like to guard them, too.
We know you hurt now,
but that's why we was like,
I was so high on y'all team before you got hurt.
Because I, I,
I believe in your competitive spirit.
Like last year,
I'm like,
Rockin'all gonna be straight.
Yeah.
You did say that on God.
But when y'all got Katie,
like, I was all right.
That's what for you.
That shit fucked me up.
That was more so,
like, obviously I was fucked up
that I got hurt,
but like just the opportunity.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm saying the season he having,
the season we having,
it's like,
you got a fire in this,
so they're missing the shit out of you,
I just know,
I just know what I'd be doing,
you know what I mean?
Yeah.
And then once you get to the end of the season,
it's like you want to rise
to the level two.
You had all year.
Yeah.
For the most part, I mean, I'm pushing.
But six months is crazy.
Like, nobody really come back in six months.
But, I mean...
That's a lot to ask.
You know what I'm saying?
I'm not ruling it out.

I love the sounds, the buzzing from the stadium, the chanting from the fans, the announcers calling the place,

Why do I watch the World Cup?
That's like asking me, why do I breed?
I inherited that fandom from my mom.

We go beyond the game to the

I took an elbow to my head,

that though. Are they the only ones that don't like that? Nobody likes that.

by playoffs, bro.
I'm not,
that would be insane.
It would be insane.
It would be insane.
I'm saying that.
You know what I'm not even
keep playing with people like, oh, I'm coming,
but like, it would be crazy,
but I'm not rolling it out.
I'm saying that on the morning show every day.
I'm going to say,
you're going to say it in the air.
Now, Frank,
a many times you've probably been traded
on a morning show or I've been to trade room,
but I know that's probably annoying as hell,
especially right in Delilah.
Yeah, yeah.
I was like, Rocking in a PG.
Trade Prat.
Yeah, I'll be.
No, y'all specifically be trade the fuck up.
I trade.
He doesn't see you in Sacramento.
I never sent him to Sacramento.
Oh, yeah, send him to Sacramento.
I never traded you.
I never trained.
I'm always...
I don't want to talk about the rocks
to much as you right here,
but I never traded you
because I think my fuck
gotta wait for you to get healthy.
Yeah.
But if y'all were going to train,
get rid of some of the bigs, though,
and bring in somebody to fill the void.
Nah.
To the top of you.
They got young Reed,
and Teechapult, baby.
I fuck with Reed.
We ain't gonna talk too much about that, though.
He played on my 18 years little.
For real?
Yeah.
Damn.
I like Reed.
Reed.
They've been called him cocaine curry?
Yeah, they got to stop.
Clay was just like, hey,
Respectful.
It should never be here.
Clay was nothing.
I was going to start saying that.
Okay, Korea.
Yeah.
I ain't like.
Clay was disgusted by that shit.
He was like, nobody's nice.
I hate when they do shit like that, man.
It's bad.
They did it this thing going with Joker.
Like, it just, it just.
Oh, we're here.
Him?
Yeah, we're here.
I've seen that argument y'all had the other day.
All right, or they're the same, it ain't the same, budd?
Just on my life.
building?
Yeah.
Let's get the same building.
Because he said him to a teammate.
No, I'm not doing it.
It was a city though, right?
Yeah.
He said, I said they're in the same building.
He said they're not in the same city.
Man, I ain't fucking with you all that.
I think that we're doing both of them at this service by comparing them.
There we go.
That's what I say.
Two all stars, two killers.
He is so sure.
He is media trained.
Yeah.
I think we're doing both of them in this service.
When he requires.
I can't.
I see when he retired.
And I tell, and listen, Alpi is my dog.
Like, I talk to him.
I talk to him like, we talk.
Yeah.
I tell him to his face.
Like, when they came with that Joker's shit, I say, yo, stop doing that shit.
For real, like, stop doing that because, first of all, you want your own name.
Oh, God.
Second of all, y'all really don't play nothing to like outside of the flashy shit.
You know what I'm saying?
He's coming from the top of the key, like.
And they grow.
He on some shit.
But, like, come on, bro.
I just think.
Joker. It's crazy.
Joker won the best.
Begmy all this shit.
Freaking Fred come saying.
You ain't wait nothing to lie.
He says it's something different though.
I'm saying it's for a lot.
I said they are nowhere near similar.
They're not besides other bullshit passing.
I'm talking about the quality.
They dominate the game.
I think what you finish with was like, I think the ranking.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's, that's, y'all having a different conversation.
I think if you ranking the top bigs in the NBA,
he belongs in that conversation.
That's a fact.
I just think the gap between one and two
may be bigger than the gap between two, three, four, and five.
Like, he is, like, Joe, you were saying.
Joker is like a, like, an all-time great.
Already.
Top four big all-time.
He can sit down there.
I don't want to play basketball or no more.
And I forgot, he's better than everybody we grew up watching.
He played him.
I've played him multiple times where he's had 30, 40, 40,
triple doubles and the ball doesn't touch the rim.
And this is three midi float layup free throw.
Yeah, he like multiple times.
Yeah, bro.
The ball don't touch the rim, bro.
I give it to him.
He's all time great.
He's not.
Young boy, yeah, he is.
On the eye.
Young boy just on the rise.
I'm just saying, like, he got to be a really good player.
I'll be in bust his ass a couple times.
That's a fact.
So that's the beautiful thing about the game.
Like, you still got to lace him up.
You know what I'm saying?
But I would, I would never compare them to.
But the whole argument started because I,
kept saying, quit calling him Baby Joke.
Yes.
Yeah.
He got his own shit.
He was saying that.
He got his own shoe.
I hate them comparison.
It's just the last year.
But like you said, if he would play,
he was going at him.
No, he's nice.
He's not too.
Yeah.
He's nice.
He's a dog.
Y'all squad right now.
It's crazy.
Y'all got some killers over there.
Put a chance to win it.
Men Thompson is one of the best athletes we've ever seen the basketball.
He's something every night is just like,
that shit crazy.
Special.
Special.
When he learned how to shoot,
he's going to NBA.
Special.
He just now adding shit, like, his reads,
like knowing where to pass,
knowing where the help is coming from.
Like, he just now adding that
because that's a whole other aspect to his game
that he ain't really tapped into yet.
And he got touched.
He had a dog and he work hard.
He's one of my favorite kids, bro.
Like, let me ask you this.
Like, being out,
did it make you like, obviously you're going to play
for another 10 years?
Right.
They ever make you like, damn,
I could be a coach too.
Yeah, but.
Like, hell, no.
I don't know.
I think it's showing me that I don't want to coach.
Okay.
It's like I'd be going home with headaches and shit after the game.
You know what I'm saying?
You know, like it's just like, it's only so much you can do.
Yeah, it facts.
I like to teach more than I like to coach.
Okay, brother.
And I always knew, like, I would give back to the game somehow.
So, like, oh, man, you'll be a coach.
That's like, bro.
The NBA grind, to do that shit for whatever, 10, 15, 20 years.
And then, like, go back to that again.
Like, I just can't see it.
Yeah.
But I would definitely be around the game in some capacity, you know what I'm saying?
And I know I can do it.
I'm doing it now.
Yeah.
That's why I was asking.
Yeah, I'm doing it in a lesser role.
I don't want to disrespect our coaches, but, like, I'm helping them with the in-between,
between the players, you know what I'm saying?
So our guy.
You can coach out there on the court anyway.
Yeah.
Yeah, PG is.
Or you're going to become a coach.
Yeah, like, I could do it now.
I told Rich in them, like, well,
10, so maybe I retire
for five, six years.
So if it's 15 years,
a coach is making $2.25 million a year.
Y'all might see me out there.
Out of the gate.
Yeah.
Ye, hey, hey, hey, I'll be an assistant for you.
Get me $800,000.
Damn.
The money going up.
Yeah, I'm saying, if you get me $800.
I can coach.
Because you go on the same trip.
I'm back.
You want to be back in the bench, coach.
Oh, man.
You want to go to play.
Yeah, you're going to do the same thing.
Yeah, you're going to do practice.
the same hotels and everything.
Yeah.
They get the same treatment.
We're making the coaching staff right now.
We got Fred, we got Teague, Evan Turner.
Let's go.
Not going.
Team team.
Ooh, a player specialist.
Yeah.
I got to get Ron.
Rondo.
Ron on the hand coach.
I want to see Rondo coach.
I do too.
Rondo too serious, though.
Yeah.
Y'all can't.
That's a hard transition.
He sent, bro, he takes me to play our team in high school next year with them.
Like, yeah, we want to play y'all.
Like, what the fuck?
Yeah, he's smart as shit.
Yeah, I'm like, you.
It'd be hard sometimes for them, some of them guys to
coach too.
Yeah.
The game ain't all about that either.
Sometimes it's way more simple than,
you know what I'm saying?
So I think sometimes him guys struggle,
but he definitely should be on somebody's staff.
He's special.
He got a special basketball mind.
Oh, he can sit, definitely.
Hell yeah.
I like talking who for you, Fred.
Fred, Fred, friend of rule.
You got some people who can't talk about for me.
Yeah.
I respect what.
Man, I'm here, bro.
Well, he retired.
I want to have a conversation when he retired.
Yeah.
I don't know how to dance, you know what I'm doing to do?
But what are you got to do?
Like, though, I want to know, because we make jokes about our parade all the time.
I was not going to do.
Yeah, real celebrations.
A million people.
That's crazy.
I don't even know if, like, it's supposed to be that many humans in one place at one time.
We started, first of all, we win in the Bay, game six, go crazy,
ain't shit going on in San Francisco, jump on a plane to Vegas.
We love to play.
We saw all right at all day.
It's a day.
We go to Vegas for a day, two days.
And then what happened was we, that's when Drake was running around with it.
So like half the team went with Drake to L.A.
And then the other half went to Toronto.
So like me, Pascal, Norm, some of the younger guys, we go back to the city.
So we the first ones to the city.
Yeah.
The other guys went to L.A.
So we came and got the love first.
So boom, we outside, we're doing our thing, a couple of days,
then we had the parade.
And I just remember, like, we had a drive, like,
maybe it was like a 10-minute drive from, you know,
where we started to where we finished.
That shit took, like, five, six hours.
Damn.
Because it was just so many people outside.
And then we started drinking and, man, shit.
Yeah.
It was, it was, that's, like the most craziest thing I ever done,
the parade.
That whole summer, but that parade was, was great.
And you had a whole summer.
Had a whole summer, bro.
Yeah.
Damn.
A whole summer.
He dots.
Toronto,
I mean, you take the trophy.
Like, yeah.
You're going to run.
You go back to Vegas for some of the league.
Running back.
Running back.
Come back to the city.
Yeah.
Then you hear you there.
You're everywhere.
What's up, champ?
Yes.
You know what I'm saying?
Then, like, my shit was even better because, like, I went crazy in the fourth quarter.
Yeah.
The game six.
So it was like, that shit was on people mine.
Yes.
So now I'm lit.
And then Kauai don't go no.
I mean, he'd go places, but like he ain't.
Yeah.
Kyle and was more quiet.
I'm Kwa.
Yeah.
I'm outside.
Yes.
You're the face.
Yeah.
I can't get none of that.
Damn.
Damn what?
Liverpool was like, you, you was on the team.
Oh, okay.
Your clip, your clip's still going by.
And the group project,
they play it before the playoff start.
Yo, uh.
No, they don't.
Yeah, they do.
Fuck you, me.
What you walking through the hall?
Hey.
You played, though.
It's like, you act like, you're playing.
You play.
He did play in the final.
I remember him playing in the final.
I got like three minutes.
Now they've been all that.
Look it up.
He played,
I think I missed like six shows.
Be here and they've been on that with him on Twitter.
Did you say they put all his shots in the finals?
Yeah.
Don't worry.
We'll miss this game.
You got a respect you.
You got a miniscular game.
Hold on.
Hold on.
Hold on, Jeff.
Because I'm going to help you out here.
When you came in the league?
2009.
So you played?
Yeah.
Come on, brer.
I think you had a hell of accrued.
I don't have any of it.
If I'm doing this in my
because you retired.
Yeah, this is my menis could go.
Yeah, he was like, come on, bro.
You're like, come on, bro.
My meniscus was gone.
We're going to keep it real because he ain't fucking with him no more.
He wasn't supposed to be there.
That nigga didn't have no knees, bro.
Yeah, my monistics was gone.
Yeah, he got signed off the love.
That's my dog.
No, what I'm saying?
No, I was good.
I tore.
No, you can hoop.
I'm saying, I'm like, I tore it with Milwaukee.
You remember I was in Boston?
I had came up 45-point game.
I got here playing 101 with Jordan North.
Wow.
Louisville legend.
Go on, I said, man, I can't bend my knee, y'all.
Damn, crazy, bro.
And I said, play, bro.
Yeah, I see hot.
My boy, Buzz, man.
You get up here, he'd be joking and shit, man.
I don't know.
Stop doing that, but.
I love my nigga, though, because he was like,
you're done, right?
I'm like, yeah, I'm going to throw you in him.
I should have.
I shouldn't let niggas really play with this nigga like that.
Come on.
Everybody.
Hold on the niggas.
Look.
They don't need to get the chance to get to him.
You know what I'm saying?
Because I don't play about my niggins.
I'm just saying it's that year, bro,
it's, y'all had a different finals experience.
Oh, man, no.
I mean, we're at 1,000%.
Yeah.
That's just like just going from Toronto to Milwaukee.
You can just start there.
Johnsonville is different.
Johnsonville is different.
I'm with me.
We were the one that Monday,
Houston, Atlanta, Miami.
That's how I was going to win in Houston.
Well, I already know.
That's what.
We're going to be partying with you.
Oh, we're there.
We're there.
You don't think I'm going to shit.
You can't worry about me.
You could feel like the buzz and the energy in the city,
like, you know, the team, the city, no way.
That's a good team, you know.
Hell yeah.
So Kaya's going to be filled.
Oh, my God.
Molo.
We get on the table.
We get on table.
Well, look, John Smith, come on there.
They run it back.
Yeah, it's up.
Yeah, we're going to be right there.
Yeah.
I hope y'all win one there, boy.
That's what I seem to do it, though.
We got a shot, bro.
I've got a shot, bro.
I've got to get healthy.
That's it.
Y'all are.
You are crazy.
What are you think about this rookie class, though?
We got a lot of young guys getting to it.
You got B.J., you got Cooper Flagg.
Khan Cunupple.
They represent right now.
A lot of first options.
I don't know the league is a little bit different now.
The rookies get to do whatever they want to.
But how has it been on?
Obviously, you've been observing the games and stuff like that.
Man, I like it.
I think this is one of the better classes that we'd have had, you know, like, just from guys that's really,
you could see what they're going to be right away.
Yeah.
Because in a couple of these drafts, we had, you know, top picks coming and be role players
or come off the bench and don't play and, you know, shit like that.
That is weird because that's not what we grew up on.
Like, usually when you get drafted, you know, they try to make you like a franchise guy.
So to see the young guys this year,
I mean, it's a lot of good players in this draft
and then obviously everybody's looking forward to next year.
But I'm looking at this year like, shit.
I mean, they got some, at least six, seven, eight of them.
You know what I mean?
A whip of really got that's contributing on winning teams.
You got a queen.
You got the kid from Memphis.
Yeah, Cedger Coward began.
He's supposed to be a Duke.
He out here producing right now.
You ain't doing this thing.
Little bro, Dylan.
Dylan out here killing the limited minutes,
now.
Your mind.
Swabble, everybody, my boy.
Rookie class is decent.
That was good.
You got Dill-Hartner.
Yeah, Harper, that shit.
And then the kid from Toronto is good, too.
Oh, yeah.
CMB, honed it down.
He on some bully game out there.
I like this class.
I'm excited, more excited about next year of draft class.
Yeah.
Just because the freshman, man.
In college basketball, there's so many good freshmen.
There's a lot.
I've just seen the kid from Houston.
I went to the Houston game.
Houston Fleming is wrong.
He's wrong.
He's a pro.
They got the kid from Arkansas.
thought that's really good.
Super news.
Yeah, it was like,
the two.
Boozer, what y'all think about him?
I ain't watched him play yet.
Dog.
He good.
I just think he liked Tyler Hansborough.
Everybody gets mad at me.
Everybody gets mad at Taylor Hansborough.
Disrespectful.
Like, no, you got to think of Tallinn'sburg when he was at Carolina.
Not Tyler Hansburg.
That's my friend laughing, bro.
Disrespectful.
Bro.
Not Tyler.
You don't know how happy I am to see you laugh, bro.
Just to see you smile would have made my day.
It is like his little straight.
Who was me?
This is a man crazy, bro.
Type of his highlight.
No, no.
I call him on Psycho T.
I call him on Psycho T.
You go see Psycho T.
Nah, bro.
Come on, bro.
No way to the movies, bro.
All over.
I mean no junkyard dog,
bro.
And I can put it to my legs and pull up for a three.
He can do that.
He added to his game.
He got it.
It's twins, though, right?
What happened to the other one?
Well, he's there, too.
He had Duke.
He's there, too.
He's there next year.
He's not having a good year?
Yeah, he's going to be there next year.
I just remember him from.
high school. See, I don't watch you sports that much
no more like how I used to. I really don't even
like college basketball for real, but
I've been paying attention to these.
No, twin can hoop. It's just, he's
He's, it's. No, Star-Studder.
It's like Cooper got a twin too. Yeah, it's different.
It's star-studded.
See?
Man, he got a younger brother.
DJ, DJ.
That's the point in, bro.
The dude, that, man?
Yeah, remember he reclassed up.
Oh, he just went up.
You're right. Yeah, he went up.
See what I mean?
That's family.
That's family. He said he got a twin.
We ain't doing it.
Now I'm in the high grade of you.
I'm not trying to be crazy.
I'm just saying.
They had to go to that's, bro.
Our journeys is different.
He didn't go with him?
No, he's at Maine right now.
Yeah, he went to, he was in Florida.
Yeah, he's in a main diversity though.
Yeah, he's a freshman, I believe.
Ace Flag.
Yeah.
Shout out to Ace Flag, man.
Hell yeah.
Shout out to the family.
Hold it down.
All right.
Now, look, check me out.
This ain't Psycho.
It's disrespectful, bro.
Lay.
Come on, bro.
It's Psychotee.
It's cold.
Psycho T was called.
Like a team's player the year.
Why he did?
No, you're in a championship very thing.
And nobody at any given time thought that Tyler Hairsboe was going to be the number one pick in the NBA draft.
How tall was Tyler Hairsbrough?
Six-nine?
Six-nine.
But, and one.
No waste of movies, bro.
That's what he do.
Okay, okay, okay.
I see, I see.
The screen.
He can do this.
Psycho T.
He ain't got that.
That's the only thing.
And he can go like this and pull up.
Do we have an NBA cop right now?
Yes.
Who, who he played like this in the league?
They say probably Al Horford.
Psycho T is crazy.
Where that boo? I'm seeing, man.
I ain't fucking a child.
It's cool, well.
No, it's not disrespectful, bro.
That's not who that's in.
Man, I knew I should have got to go here, man.
You're all tripping.
Listen.
What I'm saying is NBA comp is?
And it may not be Jay Billis because he'd be wobbling.
Man.
Yeah, shout of Jay Bill.
That his, them pole drafts.
When you get the challenge, brodie?
There we go.
P5, Julius Randall.
Check out somebody.
Is that not.
Al Horford for.
Hi, Q.
Not saying I'm Horford's in the league.
I got respect.
He's been in the league 26 years.
A good man.
Chats.
Niggas, bro,
ain't never made comparison
of none of them people.
You know,
like Psycho team
when a lottery pick.
Y' got to stop, bro.
And he shouldn't have been my dumb-ass pastes or didn't.
He was one of the best.
He won't the best college player ever.
No, I'm with you.
I'm with you.
I'm with you.
I haven't watched them play, though.
I haven't, I can't speak.
No.
It's fake.
Tyler has worked.
I'm going to say right now,
they lost one game,
and they've been putting belt to everybody.
No, he's good.
And he in Denver, number one score in nation.
I like that.
I like that.
Yeah, I got a thing.
Yeah.
People I'm saying are actually good.
I hope for it's good.
Tyler Henry.
No, I hope for it was a dog coming out.
He was top.
He was top 30.
Yeah.
It just sound crazy.
Like, you know how you go like, uh, the kid,
what's the kid from Kansas?
Darren Peterson.
He liked the next Kobe.
And then you go, Debonso, like, he liked the next KD.
And then you go, my man.
He's like, oh, yeah, he's the next Tyler.
No.
At the number,
Amy,
he'll meet him.
Thank you,
like that's crazy.
And I was a
guy.
He had a great career.
He played for the rapids.
Yeah.
One of the best
FC players of all the time.
One of the best
college sports
guy.
Rick the horn,
baby.
What the fuck?
All right.
All right.
What you're talking about?
Bro.
Hey,
now,
be here,
I want to ask you this,
even though we all here,
that game versus him
and the boss,
they said,
no,
that was the deciding factor,
even though,
you know what I'm saying?
He'll,
you know what I'm saying?
I don't be, I don't base my thoughts on that.
Derek Peterson is crazy for sure.
But AJ, AJ that dude.
Six-nine.
Yeah.
You can't teach height.
Yeah.
I want to see him with some space.
I'm rolling.
I want to see him with some space.
I feel like the last one was like, like, Wiggins was like that for me.
Like, when I watched them at Kansas, I was like, I was like, but you got to think.
With college, it's everybody right here.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
I want to see DeBonso with some more space around him, but that boy from Kansas is special.
He is certified score, bro.
Yeah.
He's sharp.
Like, he's pretty sharp for that age to be that sharp skill set.
He's sharp.
Yeah.
It depends on who get the pick, too.
Oh, yeah.
Sometimes it matter what you need.
You know what, man, I do you have to get AJ.
I think they should get AJ.
But if the Kings get the number one pick,
but if they get their name is in Sacramento.
Yeah, if Kings get the number one, Derrim Peterson,
because he can be a lot.
They don't.
They don't, but you go shoot the ball, whatever you want to.
Yeah.
I don't know.
Your Hawks, I pray that they don't get to number one pick.
I've seen you have meditated.
Oh, man.
We got the bad draft.
No disrespect to him, but young Zach, what's what you want.
Zach?
Young Zach, bro.
He's up, man.
He hurt his hair?
No, he just, he got, he got hurt.
And that shit.
They had a, you know.
Y'all got to go practice in the G-League, and then they bring you back up to play, bro.
I just hate that he got picked.
Who you would have to?
Alexar.
Had to.
He took Alixar.
I told him to take him.
Yeah, but that whole draft was do-kick.
They had Reed as a number one player in that draft by the analytics.
Yeah, so we couldn't.
Yeah, could have got Sepon Castle.
Y'all would have drafted Rhea at number one.
They would have hated y'all.
Especially having Trey, they would have paid it.
I would have took Castle or I would have took Alexo.
I mean, we needed a big.
Yeah, y'all needed a big one.
And no, you know, just respect a big O.
And, um...
Yeah, I needed a big wing.
Y'all picked what was there to pick.
We ain't know much about him.
That's what I didn't like.
But anyway, I ain't try and diss my heart shot to him.
Shout to the Hawks, man.
Well, you guys...
