Starting point is 00:04:36 You have, bro. You have. You have me. You saw the vibrations with it afterwards, bro. Oh, yeah. Oh, he did. He did. He saw it. I forgot. He did. He sure did. He sure did. Yeah. It's all the room change. I forgot about that. Who was in LA? Yeah, you saw the room go up. Who looked at that restaurant, bro, to eat? Even at the restaurant, the vibrations went crazy. Yeah. The octane is real out here in the streets, man. Shots for Donald. God, shit. I ain't hear it. I mean, shout out to him.
Starting point is 00:05:04 My honor, never heard a song. Respect. You have, bro, what you're saying. Yeah. You looked at me, pause. I said, it's time. That's his time. He looks at you and said something.
Starting point is 00:05:14 The nigga just made that up, digger. I never looked at this dick and he said, Tom. I promise, bro. As I was drinking by drink, it came all and the building erupted, bro.
Starting point is 00:05:23 It got late. One of the songs like that I would know, like everybody, like, you would know, you would know, you would know Cardigan. You would know. How they go, though. Like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:05:32 I'm just trying to think of what you would hear. You heard that E-85. You heard 3 a.m. You heard... You heard the Glock, bro. You know how I'd be bad with damning these songs and shit, bro. But I swear you to hear these songs, like in some lounges and shit that we've got to do. I promise.
Starting point is 00:05:51 I promise. Yeah, man. Make Tiga play listen to the Don Tarbors. Yeah, yeah. Get him together. They speak how of him. You're a goat, bro. I swear to God, you...
Starting point is 00:05:58 I ain't just saying that because the niggas show love. Nah, bro. You're special. Now, we're going to show us. Yeah. Hell of a show. All right. I didn't really get the experience.
Starting point is 00:06:07 No, we got you. Yeah. I'm worried. We held you down, brother. Shout to our fan motor at Mitchell Ness. See, you got to know what I'm saying? Oh, yeah, shout to my Knicks squad, man. I'm the one that said the Nix was going to win the finals.
Starting point is 00:06:16 You can go back on 520 in the morning. I said, we had started picking and I was like, shit, I'm damn the rolling with the Nix. It was after, uh, who they sweep? Boston? To my Cleveland. Cleveland? No, no, no. It was before that.
Starting point is 00:06:32 Remember they was playing Atlanta. Yeah, they. and I was like, they played the Philly, right? That's what they be Philly. New York be Philly. They did. Yeah, New York be Philly.
Starting point is 00:06:43 They lose to. Philly got something like that. Didn't they lose to New York? First round they played the Hawks, right? And then they played. I thought they beat. I swear I think the Knicks be Philly, bro. Now that I think about it.
Starting point is 00:06:55 They're running together. That did happen. Yeah. They sweep somebody. They kept going back and back to back. Back to back. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:01 After they sweep Philly, we was like, I'm done they're rolling with the Knicks. And then the Hawks beat. them twice and I started talking crazy. I'm like, I don't know the Hawks. Knicks ain't like that. And then obviously when they beat the calves, I said that they was going to win it out.
Starting point is 00:07:12 That's right on, Mike. Yeah, I'm so, they just whooped their ass so quick. I forgot this series even happened. Jesus, yeah, they sweep the shit out the six. Swip the shit out the cabs and moved on and handled business. Shout to New York Knicks, man. 2026 NBA champs.
Starting point is 00:07:26 Well, deserving to y'all, man. Let's just start there. Man, what a run. I know a lot of people who has been saying what's going on. and took three als on their way to a championship. You've got to respect that regardless of how you feel about it.
Starting point is 00:07:37 That is a historic run. I don't like when people try downplay. We don't know what was happening in playoffs. No, they beat everybody that was in front of them convincingly. After they got to respect. I think we all was like... Yeah, I was nervous.
Starting point is 00:07:49 I thought I had them an OKC. I didn't have the Spurs making it. And I thought they would be OKC. I thought it would be a better match. But I thought they would be OKC. I thought the Spurs would be a tough challenge because of Wembe. But obviously, they made them look easy, too.
Starting point is 00:08:03 Even though the Spurs was blowing them out, every game, they went up 10, 12 in the first half. Don't send me back to misery, bro. They just can't figure it out. How you starts, how you finish. Because I show had, I was wrong on both sides. I had OKC handling business and the Cavs. Come on, man. They both let me down.
Starting point is 00:08:19 Look at this run they had, man. They put off the number one, three and five largest comeback and finals history in the same series. And you talk about it, they was up, dispersed 72% of this series. I know the Knicks fans won't have any other way, though. that's some more shit that they can brag on. It was just demoralizing walkdowns every single game. You could say meltdowns, you can say immature. I don't care.
Starting point is 00:08:43 The Knicks found a way to win these games, and Jalen Brunson was closing these games. I know after OG Adenobie, he was so solid, especially after he had to tip in one of the biggest shots in next history. He said, OG for finals MVP, shout to Jalen Brunson, man. You go for 45 in a close-out game. You got it, respect.
Starting point is 00:08:58 On the road, one of the best closed-out game performances I've ever seen in my life. That's mandatory. I received that award. Yeah. I honestly wouldn't care if I ever seven. I just got them up out of here, 45. Yeah, I need that, bro.
Starting point is 00:09:12 Walk down. What's crazy, though? It's like to see them win the championship, see Cat win the championship and all of them. To watch that, how we watch it, it's like. Shout out to Cat. I've been saying that the whole time. I would love to see him.
Starting point is 00:09:28 I'm glad you got one, bro. To add that to the Arsenal, that's fire, bro. We go back to the graphic right here. Hey, Minnesota, they said, hey, out of everything that happened. Damn. Damn. Damn. Damn.
Starting point is 00:09:41 Jimmy. Jimmy Lowe. Oh, a pick. We ain't got his chip. Nacho got his. Now Katner. Jimmy, what's up, man? The vibes were down right there.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Right there, no morale. I don't even know if that's a real picture. Cat don't even want to look at Jimmy. I don't think that's a real picture. That looks AI and shit. No, no, no, no. That's real, bro. Okay, for the second conversation,
Starting point is 00:10:04 that thing always looks like that when he hoops. Who me? Yes. Yeah, I looked like that. Yeah. Somebody was talking about me the other day was like, if you would have been the person you are now,
Starting point is 00:10:14 while you play basketball, bro. He was like, you would have been lit. I was like, bitch I was. No, that is true, though, bro. Probably. And that's crazy to say the person, if you are the person you are that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:27 You always been that person. But I'm saying if it was to the world, like, you'll be different. You'll be hated. I was telling them I was like, fam, I was that in the locker room. Yeah. I was like, I was just wasn't that in the media.
Starting point is 00:10:38 It was like, me, you ain't smiled. You ain't do nothing when you hit a shot. You ain't had no swag. You ain't wear no accessories. Damn, I said you went to have no Bc. They were like, nigga, you ain't got no accessories, no headband. Brow member bag, too.
Starting point is 00:10:52 Yeah, they're like, bro, you ain't do nothing. You ain't had no swag. That's crazy. And I'm looking at this picture, I'm like, damn, me and we ain't got a shit on. We ain't got a knee pad, nothing. But you used to wear heat, though. Like, before it time, people had heat.
Starting point is 00:11:07 You had heat always, though. Yeah, I kept some cool shit. That name Jimmy's funny, man. Just looking at this picture and knowing what y'all went through with that dick is funny as hell. I can't waste to me. Jimbo, man. Jimbo, good dude.
Starting point is 00:11:31 him to a game of one-to-one as soon as he does. It doesn't matter where you do. No, he can't get pop this shit to anybody. All the disrespect. He was on my top five most disrespected players this year, bro. Yeah. I'm still having to have it.
Starting point is 00:11:43 Yeah. That's a cool. Nick, I always tell you that. He's cool. I know he do the voice shit and all that. And people do that's weird. But now he's really cool, dude. I'm happy for him, though.
Starting point is 00:11:52 Always saw. Always good energy to. And not for nothing, bro. As much how he'd get, Kack was always cold. No. Like, that was never in question. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:00 I always said he was the, most talented player I ever seen. When we was guarding him, they was running pin downs for him like a guard. Yeah. I remember Thetius Young was like, my nigga, they are running pin downs for this nigga. I was like, guard the niggins. He's like, they running pin.
Starting point is 00:12:14 Your man are setting the pin down. I'm like, I watch the film. Hey, damn, this thing is coming off. Triple screens like a guard. He cold, man. That's a shit to make you crash out when a nigger's like, hey, man, get up on that. Your man is setting the screen. I swear to God for you.
Starting point is 00:12:27 Nigger show. Your niggas is the one setting the pin downs. Ricky Ruby. yo down there like, I'm just listening. Shit, it was crazy. You know what's crazy? A lot of people didn't even recognize that outside of professionals
Starting point is 00:12:39 until 2K. And Till 2K penalized you for not being that stuff. People never took accountability for that stuff. No, hell no. Nah, man. Shout out to the Knicks, man. So much unpackable, man.
Starting point is 00:12:50 Let's, first things first, for them, a gutsy move to move on from Tibbs. And when they, you know what I'm saying? Conference finals seems to be building. They was like, nah, we're going a different direction. And they bring a Mike Brown. And Mike Brown caught a lot of slander
Starting point is 00:13:02 It was just like, oh, if you ain't better than Tibbs, this is a waste of our time. Year one, get a chip. It's like Mark Jackson and Steve Kerr move. Like Tibbs built the formula, and I ain't taken up from Mike Brown, but Tibbs got the guys, him and Leon Rose. They built the formula of what they needed.
Starting point is 00:13:20 And he came in, changed a couple things, changed the offense a little bit. Let's play a couple of our bench players a little more. Let's get Mitchell Robinson a little more at least. Let's get this to do a little more. And all of a sudden, boom, the championship. That's the same thing Steve Kerr did. Let's play Draymond Green instead of David Lee.
Starting point is 00:13:36 Let's do this championship. Damn, shout out to David Lee. If you know, you know. David Lee was a solid contributor on that Warriors Squitty for a second two. Even Bogot. People forget. Boagher was a big piece of the Warriors teams for a second two. No, yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:52 Sean Liveston, shit, Harrison Barnes. Yeah, man, the Knicks winning, that's just so good for the NBA. Alvieve, did you see this? that. James Dolan allegedly asked his team for 10 weeks to sacrifice abstinence doing this playoff run. What? James Dolan.
Starting point is 00:14:10 Yeah, James Dolan, older than Knicks said, hey, you know what I'm saying? While we're in the playoffs, if y'all could chill out on the hoop sessions off the court, maybe we can get a chip. Nah, I don't believe that's on that. The one that was trying yesterday, niggas was hanging shit, bro. I mean, after that, OG tip in, pause. That's a wild segue.
Starting point is 00:14:26 Yeah, that was wild. After OG game winner. Yeah. After OG hit the gang win out, for sure, my nigga got, he got hard. For sure, bro. Yeah, come on, bro. If I sleep a team in the second round, I need a kid. These niggins.
Starting point is 00:14:44 I'm definitely getting some neck after the sleep. Yeah, bro. I just dropped 45 minutes of a close-out game. Like a girl, like you here right here. That's what. Ain't nothing to do with San Antonio. I know what happens. My time doing.
Starting point is 00:14:56 Do the Knicks stay together? No. No, you got to. you got a run back. Mitchell Robinson won't be there. He's going to get paid, boy. So he has to leave. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:07 I mean, probably for his best interest, I would imagine. He's going to get a bag offer to him. That's saying like 80? Somebody going to give him three years, 60 million, 20 million plus or whatever. That's fine. A year for sure, bro. He deserved it. You think that role is back?
Starting point is 00:15:23 Yeah. You need a realm runner. And then it's offensive rebounding. It's something that you can't teach. bro. Yeah. Like how much he's making
Starting point is 00:15:31 right now? Yeah, 12 up to score. He's definitely getting at least 20 million. No just to beg the Hardinstein and them,
Starting point is 00:15:41 but he, he in that realm. Are you kids? Lockhe in. If he made free throws, oh. If Ms. Robinson made free throws,
Starting point is 00:15:52 he never would be a max player. He Goldberg? Man, if he made free throws, bro. I love Mitch. If he made free throws, he's 40 minutes.
Starting point is 00:16:01 If he gets, a shooting coach and they break down his free throws and he just goes 60, 70% from the free throw line. Do you know how much money he would make? Oh, wow. You think, remember Hassan, Weissai got a big old deal.
Starting point is 00:16:14 Shout to Hassan White's high. Shout to Hassan Wausau. He deserved that deal too when he got it. But, yeah. Right about Hassan. I mean, respectfully look at Drum. I mean, I'll drum with a little bit better player and stuff like that. But like, Drum,
Starting point is 00:16:26 got paid, that first deal. Yeah, Drum. I'm just saying how to I feel like that position, that style of play from a big man went away from the NBA. Yeah. I was back now. The bigs is important, bro. Like you said, we've been looking at some of the last drafts
Starting point is 00:16:40 in some of the ways. Like Zach Edy's stuff like that, Dom and Clemen, they're investing a lot of time and energy back in bigs. Jaylen Dern. Come on, man. He's about to get paid. Man, he's about to get.
Starting point is 00:16:50 Right. He's about to get paid. Random. We used to talk about the Spurs, but how would you feel about Isaiah Hartstein going to O'KC? I'm out. Okay, C., leaving OKCCCC. He'd be great for them.
Starting point is 00:17:00 I don't see that happen. They can't afford them. They just paid Luke Cornett. Yeah. They can't. Luke Cornett had to go somewhere real. But that was just talking about how like Winby needs another big alongside him.
Starting point is 00:17:13 I mean, obviously Luke Cornet did service of women, but they said he needs some more helping their front line. But, hey, man. We ain't going to do too much about the spurs right now because they're about them. They ain't with a chip. No. Oh, you got to keep it real, bro.
Starting point is 00:17:25 They got to blow them up. You know, I'll let y'all say that shit all the time about all this thing. They got to blow up. They're in the early process And they hold revamping of the spurs, bro. Champany. Go find somewhere else.
Starting point is 00:17:38 We got to go. He's young. He probably on a- Julie, man. He's probably on a crazy week deal. Like, he's probably making $3.000 a year. He's a $1,000 and affordable. He can hoot.
Starting point is 00:17:48 But you're not here. He got to go, bro. He can't be a starter fool. No, bro. But he's a hell of a big man. I'm rolling. See up some shit. And I'm not saying, like, blow it up, like,
Starting point is 00:17:59 the pride of the calves or something I should do. I'm saying like... What are he making? You know, 40-year-twenty. It's not going nowhere. Now, we can keep that. You're locked in.
Starting point is 00:18:07 You work on your guy with you. Yeah, I didn't get a 360 deal. Yeah, I didn't know. Kelton Johnson, he might be on the move. Kelton Johnson might be worth 14 or 18 million a year. Yeah. If I got young Carter Bryant in the wings,
Starting point is 00:18:23 I'm gonna probably take Carter. Yeah, but I'm gonna probably move on from Kelvin Johnson. Even though he was six men in a year, I'm pretty sure. Wait, how many years he got left on his? He's still up next year, right? Oh, it's up to. up to 28? No.
Starting point is 00:18:36 No, no, no. Keldon. Keldon. It's up 26. Yeah, so his shit. Oh, don't you worry, brother. He's on him. He about to be a free agent.
Starting point is 00:18:44 Yeah. We're going to go ahead and move that because it's one year left. Yeah. Get that 18 off, whatever it is off the books. Move on. We got to get some shooting, man. How do we get some shooting in another big, bro? We got to get rid of some of these niggies.
Starting point is 00:18:57 A lot of them going to be gone. Kelly Olenick gone. Yeah. Plumley gone. Biz Mac Beyond Boe gone. Harrison Barnes gone HB, he needed to use him for. Duncan Robinson or somebody over there, boy.
Starting point is 00:19:12 They probably gone. I wouldn't be surprised if they went after a Landry, uh, Shaman. Yeah, it ain't no jump shots at all. Orden Nix can't let him leave, bro, just off the Vob's line. No, he can't. You got a respondent to Shamed.
Starting point is 00:19:23 The player liked that, though. I'm going, though. I'm going to tell you who they won't go on, though. That nigger right there. De N. Foxx? Yeah. I mean, the vibes is. Like I said, I would love to see him go to Houston for Fred Van Bleet.
Starting point is 00:19:37 And I know Fred ain't trying to move and all that shit. And I ain't trying to get nobody traded for sure. But it just makes the most sense. They need a stable point guard that can stable that team and be a solid defender and do all that shit. But let Dylan Harper and Stefan Castle rock out. But you subbing in Fred, perfect, bro. Even if Rick started some tones, bro, just his jump shot alone to save this team. And he's going to play.
Starting point is 00:20:02 I mean, he's a hell of a guard. He's going to hold this up on down. But they play all three of them. So, like, and Fred, guard. So it ain't like you're going to miss anything on defense. Yeah. And he scored just as well. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:14 Like, for that team. But Deering Fox, I think he can go to another level with Houston. Like, 27 the game is Deering Fox. He had run a gun type guy. He's going to have to get back to that, though. He didn't have a lab at some of the other. I mean, he did have a high ankle spurn, though. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:29 Which is very detrimental to the way he plays basketball. But a lot of people are just like, boy, some of the IQ, it by players. Yeah, we can't have. As an NBA player, and I feel like you feel like you can't go and I'll let you do your thing, but bro, not in this moment.
Starting point is 00:20:41 The moment too big, just sit down, bro. But people got real lives. He ain't never been in that moment either. Everybody talk about you being like a 10-year player. If you never made the playoffs for real, you made it one time, you've never been in the moment.
Starting point is 00:20:56 If you made it one time y'all got beaten the first round. Yeah. You ain't ever did nothing. 100%, bro. And he played against one of the best players ever play basketball, and they got him to fuck up out of here after one of the best seasons in Sacramento history. I just, to me, bro, it's, y'all egos is through the roof, but I just had to sit down, bro. It wasn't that he couldn't play.
Starting point is 00:21:16 He just never been in that moment. Like, everybody expected him to be that guy in that moment, but he ain't never been in that moment. Like, he was a rookie like them all in that moment. Like, the difference is New York Knicks been together. They've been through the playoffs. Yeah. They've been through the wars. made one playoff appearance against the Golden State Warriors and got murdered.
Starting point is 00:21:39 Yeah, wow. Yeah, and not for nothing with the stuff the Knicks been through the last two years, battle tested in the playoffs. You got somebody like J.B., who was a solidified closer. You don't get a fucking cat. He'd been in the wars at Dallas. He's been, like, he bent through it a little bit, cat been played in the playoffs. He'd been made to the Western Conference finals.
Starting point is 00:21:57 Come on, like, OG was hurt, but he's a champion already. None of them over there. on that spurs been through any of that. So when we're looking at Deering Fox, like, be the guy. He's like, shit. It's a lot of some pressure over here too. If I got never been here. I, I fuck with that.
Starting point is 00:22:14 I'm just saying at the end of the game, at some point, if you hurt, all I'm saying is, fuck how he play. If you hurt and you know your ankle sprained high or low, whatever, put them there, bro. Bro, sit down, bro. Sit down. You can't play, bro. You still going to get a ring.
Starting point is 00:22:31 You still going to be valued. I don't believe. even NBA players playing in big bomb as hurt, bro. Because when you lose and do all this crazy shit, that shit don't matter. Speaking of that, could you go ahead and play Trey Young? He played 20-8 postseason game. And most of them was this year.

Starting point is 00:24:39 I heart radio. I love the sounds. The buzzing from the stadium, the chanting from the fans, the announcers calling the place soccer, football, at home. Why do I watch the World Cup? That's like asking me, why do I breed? I inherited that fandom from my mom. I like watching it with my dad.
Starting point is 00:25:05 It's a connecting force. From Futuro Studios, I'm Fernanda Chavari, and this is American Football, a show about soccer culture in the U.S. and its underdog roots. We go beyond the game to the people and the stories that make it great. A soccer game is a festival. It's not just a game. It's your culture. I took an elbow to my head, which cracked my skull. It is an American game. The Brazilians don't like hearing that, though. Are they the only ones that don't like? Nobody likes that.
Starting point is 00:25:38 As we get ready for the men's World Cup this summer, listen to American Football as part of the My Coutura Podcast Network, available on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Trey Young talked about not playing in the Eastern Conference finals with ankle spraying. Go ahead and play that. But I believe his contract here.
Starting point is 00:26:01 I can hear your shit. Just, I mean, I had agents. I mean, they were telling me not to play, obviously. just not make it worse. And if it, you know what I'm saying, it could have just messed up. And for me, just not having that, like we were two games away to go into the finals
Starting point is 00:26:21 and we had beat the suns twice that year. And it was just like, you never know when the opportunity is going to come again. And Atlanta's never been to the finals. They've never been to a game six in the finals. I mean, in the conference finals. We're out as far as we went.
Starting point is 00:26:37 And, like, I just, I wish I would have, that was one thing that raised me. I wish I would have just tripledate to put the ankle brace on on top of it. And then went out there and tried to play through that pain. And obviously a little bit different situation where D.R. Fox is his conceptual all race with Fox. I ain't going to lie. It ain't matter what you did, boy.
Starting point is 00:27:01 That's, that wasn't going to win. That's true. I don't get fuck what he did. It was already written It was already written It was game 16 It was already written It was a fact
Starting point is 00:27:13 It was already written I'm telling it they weren't going to win I love Leonard of death I just wanted it to be a good Like I want us to still be able To talk about the finals this week Bro Yonis didn't even play though
Starting point is 00:27:23 Yeah Like Yonis didn't play that series So he They probably could have beat this It was already written though Because what Yonis missed How many games in series He missed it
Starting point is 00:27:34 He must quite a few Yeah I can't say I know he met, especially some later ones, too, or three. It's how sick my mind is, though. I was like, I'm really about to be the, like, I'm about to be a go-to guy this next series because Yonis is not playing. Like, what in my mind made me think Yonis were going to play in the finals?
Starting point is 00:27:51 Yeah, I don't know what you was thinking. I don't know what I was thinking. I'm like, man, my knee feel okay. But you believe that you was the next man of first. No, no. That's where I'm stuck in. No, like, I got to move on the depth chart. Like when he, because we played good.
Starting point is 00:28:08 So when I was in the rotation, I'm like, yeah, playing good, I'm in the rotation. Yeah. I'm like, damn, we're going to go to the finals. Like, it's going to be some shit. Like, it's going to be the everything I dreamed. Like, when we have a party, like, Nick, I'm really going to be a part of the party.
Starting point is 00:28:22 That wouldn't the case. Yeah, he missed games five and six of the conference finals. Yeah. And we beat them. And I was in the rotation. Which is kind of interesting to have two teams battling to go to the finals. and both of their stars are out.
Starting point is 00:28:36 That's very intriguing as well. But yeah. But it's like you said, contract season, I can't even match you that situation. Tray Young with a... Don't look at Lennah Hawks to the fucking NBA finals. What the fuck is he thinking about?
Starting point is 00:28:47 It still fuck Troy Young. You hear him in New York, bro. Tray Young would be the biggest. My nigga, I told you, I thought I was going to play. I ain't say I was playing, but in your mind. Okay, let's break this down.
Starting point is 00:29:01 520 films, 2.0. Scroll up, please, Mike. So in nine minutes What was your Okay, what was your rotation minutes In the final appearance I'm trying to measure it all together It wasn't there
Starting point is 00:29:15 So you got in games five and six I played probably At least 15 minutes Solid In Atlanta So I'm like damn That's probably going to be my role going forward We don't know what Yon is going to do
Starting point is 00:29:30 Yeah That wasn't the case All my nine minutes party came in game one. Grissey, you definitely play game one. Yeah, I probably played because Yannis was out. And I just didn't play well. So when you had, you had 10 minutes game one?
Starting point is 00:29:42 Yeah, 10 minutes. I hit a three. I remember. Yeah. I think Yonis did play. I don't know. I can't remember. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:49 But I remember I hit a three and that was it. And I was just like, oh, it's over with. That gave you the spark. That was your like Mike Mama right there. When you hit that three, you said, oh, shit. No, I knew it was over with. When I hit the three, I came in early, I hit the three in transition. I remember.
Starting point is 00:30:08 Then I was like, oh, I'm not about to play this series. I just knew. I was like, they was beating our ass. I was like, oh, yeah, I'm out. It's over with it. So then I went in coach mode. When you had 15 minutes, how many points did you have? When we played the year in, I think I had 11.
Starting point is 00:30:26 Oh, that's solid, bro. Something like that. In the closing game, I hit like 3-3 or something like that. Game 6th, you got to get back. Respectfully. Yeah. Man, what... Shout out to the Knicks, man.
Starting point is 00:30:38 Like, they really put belt-to-ass on a postseason run, and you have to respect it. Like, I don't like when people make excuses. They whooped everybody that... They faced it. Like, shout to C.J. McCollum. If it wasn't for you, it'd look even more crazy. Oh, God.
Starting point is 00:30:50 Shout to them, boys. No, shout to them. The championship paychecks, boy. Jeremy Solichan got that check, boy. 770K for winning the finals. Yeah. He made Jose Avarado. How was he made $806.
Starting point is 00:31:02 Boy, he never doubled his salary, boy. if that finals win. That's far. Ain't nothing wrong with that. But people don't understand about that. Jeremy Socham was on a, he, he made way more than that.
Starting point is 00:31:13 Yeah, because of the 13. Yeah, he getting back to San Antonio still too, though. Oh, shit, that's how that works. Yeah, so he was like me. When I got, when I got, when I got way by the magic, I was still getting a three point,
Starting point is 00:31:26 whatever from them. Then I got picked up. So that's why you get the minimum. He getting 800K from them. Yeah. Well, all your money still, you still get, he still got me. He's making like $10 million this year. Yeah, yeah, 7.1.
Starting point is 00:31:40 I'm about to say, yeah, he's solid. Same with Dame. Dame got the situation with Milwaukee and then he got paid to get my Portland. Yeah. Oh, wow. Yeah. So, Dame double dipping out there. Now it's time to start having uncomfortable conversations about Jalen Brunson.
Starting point is 00:31:55 Y'all respect Jailen Bruns. Well, it's uncomfortable. He's the best Nick ever. Yeah, best Nick ever, for sure. It's stamped. Shout to the OG is holding on a package. I'm talking about, I respected, but he's got to top five point guard. You got to put him up there with Russ.
Starting point is 00:32:08 You got to put him up there with C.P. You got to put him up there with Dame Liller. He got to get more stats, but he didn't know. I'm going to get scary. Them conversations that we're having now in about five or ten years is going to be different because niggas ain't going to talk about the stats. They're going to talk about. He didn't want to be a year.
Starting point is 00:32:25 He got a finals MVP and MVP, and he got a college ship. He got a player of the year. He ain't got no MVP. now, but he got finals MVP. Yeah, Fonsonepie, excuse me. But he got a chip. That's going to outweigh everybody. In New York, though, that's why it's going to outweigh everybody.
Starting point is 00:32:42 He took $100 million pay cut and got them a chip. Oh, he ain't going to take another pay cut. He's about to give five years 700. As soon as it is, eligible shots will drop the report. Yeah, they better Patrick Mahomes, him. Like, what can this max be? Can you look it up? I think it's, I think it's like five years, 275.
Starting point is 00:33:01 Might be higher than that. Wow All right. I was looking at man's have a dream War I'd be at work man I forgot she was here Yeah my bad be
Starting point is 00:33:10 B Barton went to sleep Bring ya I heard I'm still in sleep tired What would you do this weekend Why'd be having
Starting point is 00:33:17 Ne stressed out How much you drink What should say I said what What you do this week It has for what Five years 417
Starting point is 00:33:26 Brother You're chilling Five years Four 17 Thank you Thank you Yeah What we got today
Starting point is 00:33:31 So this was tea birthday drink. Hey. It got peach nectar. We got Repo back in the building. Peach nectar. Um, okay. Some orange bitters, lime juice,
Starting point is 00:33:44 agave and top with ginger beer. I got to be a bartender again because I've been just serving y'all anything. Yeah, they've been telling us the recipes have been transferred. Ginger, ginger beer. Ginger beer. Yeah. Damn. Brunson.
Starting point is 00:33:58 He got 17. And you only can sign in 2020, right? 2027 Yeah Pay what you way Pay what you fucking way He's in every penny of that What they're gonna do with cat though
Starting point is 00:34:11 Cagin will pay? They got to Got to Got to Got to pay Cat OG's locked in The Kill locked in Got to pay Cat
Starting point is 00:34:17 Even if y'all made I'll make it change I'm next year Josh Short gonna be gone Damn Yeah I'm gonna have to look Josh Zs Jard go
Starting point is 00:34:26 You can't run it back You can But I'm saying You gotta pay cap Carin won the extension for sure and deservedly show. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:33 And deservingly so. But the one you gotta let go. Like, unless they're just happy with this chip and like, then we probably can't repeat with this.
Starting point is 00:34:40 Yeah. Because a lot of teams do that. They'd be like, we won. It's like, it's like, it's probably, the chance we ain't gonna repeat. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:47 We got to get under the tax. So we got to do this. Let's just let them all go get paid somewhere else. That's kind of owner I'd be. So they basically deal with y'all? Yeah. So PJ?
Starting point is 00:34:57 That's literally what they did with the buck. Like, all right, PJ. on. Yeah. Like, fuck it. We won. Would you say age was maybe a consideration of y'all situation? Because you look at everybody here.
Starting point is 00:35:09 I mean, Katz started to everybody else. OG's 28, Brunswickson 29, McKell Bridge is 29. They still got some good years on them. Obviously, y'all did too as well. Yeah, it was age for us. But obviously, you know how hard it is and win the championship. I'm not saying this group came running back. And shit, they got the potential to run it back.
Starting point is 00:35:27 But what's the likelihood? Yeah. I look at OKC. We were just talking about now. Why we have this combo, Mike, could you pull up the list of the last champions? Yeah, we, everybody beginning this year until the playoffs had OKC running through shit again.
Starting point is 00:35:40 But unfortunately, Andrew, but look, the last eight, nine years, bro, has not been consecutive champs. OKC last year, Boston, never before that. Golden State, Milwaukee, Lakers, Toronto. Then Go State was the last, to go back to back in 18 to 17. But you think we'll see another back-to-back
Starting point is 00:35:56 or even a dynasty in the NBA anymore? No, I don't think so. Why not the? Teams get better. They get real good, really fast. Like, look at San Antonio. Everybody think that's going to be a dynasty because of Castle, Dylan Harper, and Wembe.
Starting point is 00:36:14 And not saying they won't be, they won't be good together. But obviously, they need more people around them. Yeah. But how? Because you're going to have to pay all three now. And you can't even pay all three of them for real. Yeah, that's it.
Starting point is 00:36:27 Because if you're going to spend max money on three players, Yeah, you're going to be horrible. So, niggas draft's got to be better. Yeah, I mean. And they're going to be so good. They ain't going to have no good draft. Yeah. That's a fact.
Starting point is 00:36:39 And then, like, Carter Bryant, another guard that's another guy that's in that rotation. He's going to be up to get paid, too, with Dylan Harper. So basically it's hope for the Kings to be good in the years to come. If you were holding on to hope for the Kings, I would say teams. I would say teams like. Watch the Wizards are going to be good. Watch. The Wizards will be good.
Starting point is 00:36:59 but I'll say teams like Toronto could be good because they got established players already who's already getting paid but they don't get paid crazy amounts of money. I mean, even though they got a high payroll, but it's like, it's not absurd. Yeah, it's a high payroll. But you know, it's crazy.
Starting point is 00:37:17 We talk about that Raptor's shit. Everybody in that team is still throbbing. Great May flea still throbbing. O'G just got another one. Pascal still killing. They could have held off for a couple years, bro. And they really locked in, but obviously Kowah was nothing on that shit.
Starting point is 00:37:29 I think, okay, see, they'll be back just because all the draft capital they got. Yeah, they back a thousand percent. Yeah, they could lose Jalen Williams and replace him with another dynamic queen. Or whoever it is, they might have a little perusal or whatever. They got enough draft capital that they can make a splash to get another player or they can draft really well. Them niggas losing this shit might be a blessing to the skies for him because they have all the ammunition to do some crazy shit, bro. You look at their contract situation as well. But he would get paid like Hardin'O'
Starting point is 00:38:02 obviously in that situation. Lou Dort probably more likely gone. Cason Wallace is like, yeah, let me get to a team where I can go hoop. I got a chip already. Yeah. They got a lot of plug and play pieces, boy, and a lot of assets.
Starting point is 00:38:14 Yeah. And they still have SGA. Yeah, that's a fact. But what's up, Barbia? I know we're talking basketball. No, I understood everything that y'all was saying. What we said? What we said?
Starting point is 00:38:23 No, y'all was just saying, you said basically, they can't get better players because they're already paying the good, players from their team so they can't afford to draft someone else and pay them enough for them to build a better game. They can't draft. I make a draft they can't trade. Yeah. And so,
Starting point is 00:38:39 I don't know, it just all makes sense to all make sense to all. Okay. And why they can't run it back like another. All right. Name me two people on the Spurs. On the Spurs? We just did this today. I don't know if we're saying his name right, Darren Fox. Deeran. That's cool. Today he's there. And Wimby.
Starting point is 00:38:54 Wimbley. Or maybe somebody else about a Wimby. Uh-huh. Um, because I thought OG was on Spurs. He's on the Knicks. Because I was like, damn, his name is really OG. Okay, that's probably where my style is it. It's not his real name?
Starting point is 00:39:09 No. Oh. Oh. Yeah. Oh, so it's like. He's in the boat. Yeah, yeah. They just put it together, man.
Starting point is 00:39:15 He's not. He's not. You know what? Maybe crack up. It's foster when it's somewhere did the list of Pacers and y'all didn't even mention Jeff was fucking hilarious. We did. Kiki did.
Starting point is 00:39:26 I forgot you at play for the Paci. I did too. Do you know two current Do you know two current Pacer players right now? Um, damn. After studying, they just did this. Wait.
Starting point is 00:39:39 See, this is where you got to get above. Yeah, get off from cards. Lock in. Two current Pacer players. Come on. Come on. Come on. I have not been watching.
Starting point is 00:39:49 I told you, the last time I went last year. So I know it was, and I think he's gone. Wait, is the white boys on the team? The. That's a lot of them. I know, but the one that was really good. Is TJ still on the team? Yeah, really good.
Starting point is 00:40:04 PJ. How far up with that? Do you just a choice of work? You can't agree. That's too. There we go. So they're two from the Knicks. From the Knicks.
Starting point is 00:40:13 Cat, Big Per. Yeah. I don't know if he likes to the guy. And Jalen. Jaylon Brunson is my dad. Yeah. It's on the internet. Jaylon Brunson is your dad?
Starting point is 00:40:23 No, that's what New York. I'm not going to say. Let me get a job. All right. Let's do a bullshit team, though. Oh, you're going to lose me there. I watched the game last night. It was like, yay.
Starting point is 00:40:34 You don't know nobody on the Wizards. On the Wizards? Yes. No. Respectfully. Damn. Hope the main player. It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:40:43 You don't know nobody on the Kings. No. Who does anybody boyfriend play on the Kings? Who? What? I don't know. Somebody boyfriend's crazy. Somebody boyfriend's crazy.
Starting point is 00:40:56 Girl, we always say it on this platform. Oh, okay. The motherfuck really not to be together. That might be somebody else. I'm going to be real. If you meet a girl and she's no niggins on the Kings, you might want to run away. Hey, let me find out Kings hit me up.
Starting point is 00:41:09 When I have a good year. These are their players? Yeah. I've never seen none of their face. I've never seen anything. He's just met a day in my life. Yeah, free to real answer. While we're here, please go to Paul Pierce.
Starting point is 00:41:20 Paul Pierce is fed up of the streamers. Oh, me. Fucking up his life. Please play. This is one of my favorite rats ever. He is sick of everybody. Ruined his one, man. Shows and Paul Pierce. He is one of the points of him on Earth.
Starting point is 00:41:37 And give you $100,000, $2 million. This shit is great. Oh, motherfuckers. Y'all ain't mad if you're getting your money, but, like, y'all driving the price of too much. When y'all got these girls out here all in their head thinking they can just, like, what squares out here?
Starting point is 00:41:51 He's going to learn. Who's here? Y'all follow. Yes. Where he don't work in no more. They have candy, females, females. Stream, hundreds of thousands, millions, and gas in a month.
Starting point is 00:42:01 So now. Both of us come out on that like 15 million yards. Yeah, that's a little pack of God. If you don't want that, get out of here. This world is all fucked up. There's too many nerves getting money, getting too much money. And this is what they're doing,
Starting point is 00:42:19 and that's why these girls are acting like that. That's real talk. That's what I see. That's real talk. It's real lanes out here to get money because they're in front of a camera, and everybody following them, they're following their life.
Starting point is 00:42:32 Like, crash his little piece. Okay, y'all come say whatever to me. Pull up on. Y'all lions. This is what the price. This is what's your, this is created from y'all. You're influencers, your streamers, and now you've got y'all can these females,
Starting point is 00:42:48 and this is what we get. I'm doing, saying somebody offering them 15 million. Hey, look it up to game. He's mad. He did say somebody offered her $15 million a beer. Take her Virginia. He didn't think there. No NBA player got to be a streamer.
Starting point is 00:43:01 Now, we can. off there. Now, that's hilarious, Pee, because once upon time, niggas is upset, you know, then. Which is like gas prices now, bro. The ballware and framers had it sold up. He said the streamers is fucking up the market. Streamers aren't lit, though.
Starting point is 00:43:15 Not good. The niggas who? No, no. The street niggas fucked it up. And I love, you know. Yeah. You're right to that, to that point. But he's talking about internet shit.
Starting point is 00:43:29 Yeah, but I'm saying to get a girl, like, it used to be one point. anytime when you was a hoop nigger, a girl I like you just because, nigga, you was on the Knicks. Like, nigga, you play for the Knicks. Oh, shit. Now it's like a nigga in the street
Starting point is 00:43:42 to be like, yeah, nigga play for the next, nigga, but I got the same money as him. And I'm gonna spend it. Like, that nigga gonna save his money. Yeah. That nigga ain't about to put $10,000. NBA niggas be spending that money. Not like a street nigga.
Starting point is 00:43:55 Because a street nigga say, yeah, y'all, y'all lane, y'all won't because he play ball, blah, blah, blah. But they get their money quicker. Yeah. And I got a rancid faster. You get, you might get more than them
Starting point is 00:44:07 niggas in some occasions, but you get yours on the first and 15. Yeah. Like, that's the first and 15, ladies are coming. Yeah, I mean, typically they do too,
Starting point is 00:44:16 but I'm just saying, like, and they spend more. Yeah. Like, because they can't, our shit is legal. Like, never mind,
Starting point is 00:44:22 I don't get no people in trouble, but they had, it's only so much they can do with their money. Yeah. They need other people to do some other stuff with their money.
Starting point is 00:44:30 They make it clean. Like, for sure. That's why we got to get you another daycare. We got to get you. You got to become a nurse. We need you to lock in. We need to get a home health care.
Starting point is 00:44:41 Yeah, all that you're working on it. Yeah. So all the niggins that you deal with, they can rinse their money through you. Wait, what, be here? Listen, I'm trying to tell you the formula. Yeah, you got to rest. Yeah. I need brink.
Starting point is 00:44:52 So, A.T.R. Luis. Because that's going to come to me. Wait, you said HR? How's the 528? You don't have a racist. I don't know if you know it, but Malcolm has been drinking the same ice tea for the last week that we told him that we ain't got nothing for it, but if you got to go to the yard.
Starting point is 00:45:07 But that is true, though, bro. Street dudes for sure killed the vibes. And I ain't going to say that. They said the standard though. They made it what it was. Like, you take care of your joint. That's how I grew up. Yeah, that's what I seen.
Starting point is 00:45:22 Like, oh, your girl, you make care of the flies, motherfucker. You take care of it. She ain't got worried about nothing. But then when they went to, like, you take care of all the joints. Yeah. It's like, oh, God. That's what they maxed out. That's what they maxed out.
Starting point is 00:45:34 You take care of your joy. It ain't seven others, damn. Yeah, that's what they maxed. I see the picture of future where you had all this snow bags on the table. Yeah. You'd be like, damn, like, I was just going to kick it with Shorty, but you, you'd be getting hurt 10,000 a month. Like, now she's looking at me, like. See, it went from street dudes to rappers to athletes.
Starting point is 00:45:53 Now, streamers damn their head of athletes. Yeah, yeah, sure. Because they're getting checked. He's damn their right. He, I don't like how he called him laughing. No, because they- Somebody, somebody looks on him. I respect all streamers, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:46:04 Get that chicken. That's a-home. That ain't, you know what I mean? But he is right. Like, them thing is to spend it at an unbelievable. Because they get it so easy. Come on, man. You see, look at you.
Starting point is 00:46:15 Spin that shit. Right. You got out of unbelievable. Sitting talking like, Barb, you're a streamer. Shut out with, oh, our boy, Adrian Brunner. I got money. Like, he showed it.
Starting point is 00:46:25 Like, nigga, I'm getting. I just made whatever, how much money he made. And he just being himself on. internet. Starting point is 00:48:25 And I'm C.J. Toledano, and our podcast Point Game is about Define the Heart. Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed. And finding ways to win no matter what. He's the smartest player to ever play the game. His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before. And he knows without Luca and Austin Reeves, I got to manipulate the game. We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs.
Starting point is 00:48:48 I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup, he has to really guard guys like Nas Reid. He has to guard Julius Randall. And then he has to give us a lot. everything he gives us on the night-to-night basis on offense. And when IT's friends stop by, like Quentin Richardson, we dive into some playoff history too.
Starting point is 00:49:07 Steve Nass would get that thing. That man, hell get the flying. He running up the court, licking his fingers why he got the ball. Like, you go through a training camp with that IZAD, you figure it out real quick. Get your ass up and down the court, and you're going to get the ball. So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:49:27 I really hope that A.B. You know what I'm saying? Can get some things back in order because seeing him in the gym makes me happy. I know a lot of stuff is going on to drink this stuff. Everybody's critical or whatever. But seeing him back in the gym but just giving out knowledge is just like I would love to see him get back on track. It's going to be okay, bro. Everybody's journey different.
Starting point is 00:49:43 It's just going to take him some time because that is some hard shit to shake. That's a fact. I don't know why people would be acting like I think he can just put that bottle down. Like it's a lot shit deeper than that. You know what I mean? I just hope he got a financial team. Yeah. That's all I want.
Starting point is 00:49:56 Like, shout out to AB. Y'all know I fuck with AB. Yeah. Every time we see him and I meet, me and him be. Nah, he fuck with the showhead. His love and shit to each other. People are really, really critical about addiction. I'm like, I don't think y'all know how some of this works, bro.
Starting point is 00:50:08 It's not an overnight thing. I'm just happy that he's making better steps. Now, but like, like, bro, if he got a financial team, that's cool, because the content is going to be the content. And that's why I hate when people try to water down people, how they express themselves. I even say, I said it to him, he's in Vegas, bro. You got to chill out on the girls. But outside of that, he's going to be his.
Starting point is 00:50:26 him. You know what I'm saying? Like, he's going to be him. At the height of his career, he was a can man. Yeah. We loved him for that. Yeah. I was going to be him. I told me just got the financial team intact. That's all I hope. Because I don't want him to have to go through what he went through last time. When he was saying, I was watching other days talking Kevin Gates, like, a couple months ago, I couldn't get y'all 300 for food. You know what I mean? Yeah. I don't never want to see somebody that I think it's a cool nigga and go through that anymore. And I'm not speaking because I ain't the nigga that came and was like, here go 10,000 to get your shit right.
Starting point is 00:50:56 I didn't do that. I was just trying to be a cool, like, hey, bro, you got so much more to give. So I ain't about to be a hurry like, tell you what you do with the money. Nah, right, right, right. Nick, I didn't give you nothing.
Starting point is 00:51:04 So. And if you got it, you got that nigga, you didn't have to spend that shit. But you let me Chris said. Per all my skin. Yeah, I mean, but you know how niggas try to come back around now
Starting point is 00:51:16 and try to be his man's now because he lit. It's nasty. It is. It's nasty. I ain't never want him. I hate when people do that. When I see him,
Starting point is 00:51:25 it won't mean the harp on every, But when I see him trying to get the Uber, I said, now this is crazy. All the people that he took care of. Yeah. That Uber should never be in question. Now, you may not take this nigga to the mall and get him a Bentley or whatever, penthouse.
Starting point is 00:51:40 But this nigga online asking for a, no, sir. No, sir. Go ahead. No reason I fuck with AB and not saying, obviously he's a cool nigga, but one day we went to, not to tell his business, but we went to eat. This is when he had money and millions and all that stuff. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:54 And niggas was just, he had a team. team with him. And obviously when we went to go eat at Prime 112, it was me, Gorgie, and Whig, we always did this like, whoever up, like we put our cars in the hat, whoever car get drawn, pay for the mill. That's tight. And he came to sit with us and was just talking, chopping it up, being, being him. Yeah. And he had his team with him. He like, man, get some drinks, nigga. You know, he got money, so he wasn't even tripping. But we like, you at the table with us. My car got picked. I paid for the table.
Starting point is 00:52:26 And he like, you pay for this shit? I'm like, yeah, he's like, on earth, he ain't know who I was. He's like, I know that, nigga. I know that, nigga. I don't know you. And I'm like, you know what I mean? Yeah, right? Like, we, I know we.
Starting point is 00:52:44 And then I swear to go, we play Miami. Our highlights is playing. So I'm going to look and he's like, what was your name? I'm like, Jeff. And his man's like, nigga, that's teak. Nicky, that's teak, nigga. That's teak. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:52:58 Like, he's cool. Like, he cool. Showing love. And after that, he was like, I fuck with you forever. I ain't no nigga ever paid a meal for me. Damn. That's how we became cool. That makes sense.
Starting point is 00:53:07 Because every time we see AB, he always shows a love to you. Yeah, that's how we became cool. Everybody always expects me to buy him. I was like, nigga, you're straight. So that's when I see that, I'll be like, I know what kind of nigga he is because he was. He said everybody was around him. He was making sure that was straight.
Starting point is 00:53:24 Yeah. Charles Walker talked about that recently. He was like, he learned Grand Hills mom at home. He was like, you can never take care of your family because there's never going to be an end. You can do everything for them. But at the end of the day, you're not helping them at all. You're just wasting your money.
Starting point is 00:53:36 Because whatever problems they have, you can't solve them for you. And it's like athletes, y'all are being people want from y'all and if people feel entitled to y'all, just be like, all right, I got to live off this money the rest of my life. But like in his situation, when shit got dark, everybody was gone. But when niggas got chains and watches and all this shit, it was up. Not to tell my people business, but I said, I'm a dude. one thing for everybody
Starting point is 00:53:58 and that was it after that the only people are gonna do something for is my mom and my daddy so I'm gonna put this and I'm gonna do this now you can use this however you want to use it
Starting point is 00:54:11 I'm good and gotta be grateful boy it ain't even because my mom I was always one of my sisters my brothers and I'm always to have a place to live
Starting point is 00:54:21 oh yeah I mean so I'm gonna buy this I'm gonna do whatever that is And then when you sell it, you do whatever you want with it. That's on you. Money gone. I'm gone. I'm gone.
Starting point is 00:54:33 Shit, go on, because. How many of y'all is it? Five. Five. Five of us? Yeah. That's smart, though. To buy property for everybody.
Starting point is 00:54:42 So at least I'm going to lay the head back. You can go lay your head down. But if it ever get tight, they put that bitch on the market. Actually, you bought them houses at a good time, too. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Actually. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:54 I'm going to. I bought it with it. Yeah, I bought it with it. Great R&A. Yeah. I was saying, like, I always tell me, like, every, like, obviously, you're my brother, my sister, if it's something.
Starting point is 00:55:06 No, you're extreme niggas. But if you, I know if you, you can always sell property. This nigga was daily doing stuff for people, bro. Day. That's crazy. That is. Feeding 10 niggas every day, bro, obviously.
Starting point is 00:55:18 Can't do it. Won't do it. Yeah, man. I don't even know how niggas can't feel comfortable with not getting their own food, right? I just always feel like in those situations, maybe if y'all shouldn't all way together, but have a plan to be working to or something.
Starting point is 00:55:30 Like, don't just be the person living off the moment because when the moment gone, what you got? I'm just outside. Even if AB was still him, I just think that's crazy. If A.B. was Florida, whoever, these things is. Ain't, you know what I mean? You have no addiction or whatever?
Starting point is 00:55:43 That is insane, bro. I don't want to wake up with, bro, what we eat today? Oh, that's nasty. Oh, no, no, no. God damn. That's tough. What are people that do that, though? A lot of athletes, they feel like they're disabled.
Starting point is 00:55:54 for the hood. Yeah, I never wanted to save anything. I'm saying, I was never going to lead a hood. I'm being dead-ass serious. Because I used to think, like, I worked this hard my whole life. And I used to look at people and be like, nigga, we had the same everything.
Starting point is 00:56:11 So, like, obviously, I had my mom and my dad. So I ain't going to say everybody had the same. Some people don't be having their parents. Yeah. Different journeys or whatever. I'm like, you had the same amount of time to do whatever I did. Right.
Starting point is 00:56:22 So I ain't never really respect that When niggas be like You had a little easier than me Maybe My mom and dad They put me in a situation That was probably better Than a lot of people
Starting point is 00:56:31 But you had the same type of Because I used to be Like if I was around you You could do the same shit I was done True But again, niggas Are gifted differently
Starting point is 00:56:41 I could be around you Every day, nigga It could be different Yeah But what I'm saying is It's like how you apply yourself To certain shit Yeah
Starting point is 00:56:48 Like you might not be a pro athlete But you could have applied yourself or took whatever you seen me doing, you could have applied to whatever you wanted to be good at. I just wanted to see, I just wanted you to break that down. Yeah, I ain't, I ain't saying you got to. Everybody could have been an all-star. Nah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:02 He ain't saying. Everybody can't be. You could have been an all-star and whatever you was pursuing. There it is. Yeah. Because if I've seen somebody working hard, like even when I seen y'all with the pod, when y'all had your pod together and I could see how y'all worked on your pod.
Starting point is 00:57:17 Like, if I'm going to start a pot, I'm going to try to follow what they did. You know what I mean? Like they had some success. It was working. Why wouldn't I try to follow that? Like so if I see somebody having success and doing something like Mike got real estate, this dude doing that, whatever,
Starting point is 00:57:31 I'm probably follow that plan. I ain't going to be like, for sure. That nigga working hard. I'm a chill and it's going to hurt from me. I don't know, bro. That shit is stupid. That's why I'm trying to get milk to babysat raining all the time
Starting point is 00:57:42 so he can rub off on him. And that should have worked. Yeah. That's crazy. They're here with the camera. I mean, hold on. I don't know if you want to happen. just went through that beautiful solicit.
Starting point is 00:57:52 You said that you would keep your shit out of the mouth. Yeah. That nigga just drank tea. That nigga just drank tea for 12 days three out of bed. I don't know if that shit is legal or safe or sedentary. I won't my son to be one of the punk-ass streamers, Paul Pierce was tough. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:06 My son's like, you're going to the podcast? You just got to keep it pee. Like Malcolm, and I ain't saying he blessed to be around us, but in no sense he is because, like, if he fuck up to, we're right there. Right. Like, a lot of these people don't be having that either, bro.
Starting point is 00:58:20 But one thing I always respected by Mout is even early on when he didn't know, he put in the time to know. Yeah, he definitely grinded. Yeah, so you could do that shit for real. Yeah, like he did the things he was supposed to do to be successful in his role. He got an opportunity and ran that shit the fuck up.
Starting point is 00:58:36 He don't leave the studio. And I think more people were more willing to do for you when you were trying. Like, if the motherfuckers see you trying, like, all right, bro, I can't fuck with you, bro. But I just can't give you 100,000 because you my man's. No. off the strength.
Starting point is 00:58:50 It's just an insane thing to ask. But it's reality, though, bro. People be on it. You'll be surprised, bro. Like, what if I say? Not I give it back to you. I need that. I googled you.
Starting point is 00:59:02 You making $12 million this year. Mm-hmm. You tell me you can't give me $100,000 to start to go in on my strip club or whatever. You a whole-ass nigga, bro. Oh, God. I've been called that before. Really, I think, got me for five bands before.
Starting point is 00:59:18 Mike got me for five bands before. Mike got me. all this money in the world. When I asked that a nigga for $8,000, Louise, don't cut this. He told me, no. I ain't calling my whole ass, digger. I just said, okay.
Starting point is 00:59:30 You know what I'm saying? It's ways you can go about it, though. I don't know. I just, I've always thrived off people who work because we just having a good conversation now. And now I'm like, I feel like I've had these moments before in conversations with people. Like, if I could tell that
Starting point is 00:59:46 you work hard and whatever you're working, hard at and it might not be something I'm interested in at all. But I see you putting in that maximum effort to make it successful or whatever it is you're doing. I'll be like, damn, I can get behind that because I know whatever I'm about to get you, it's not about to go to waste.
Starting point is 01:00:03 I didn't get people money to go to school and niggas left school. Like, they're going to Bob. You know what I mean? I didn't been in situations where you did things for people when they left. So like, it kind of hurt you a little bit. Like when you go, he'd be like, damn. Not that you mad at them or none, but just like, damn.
Starting point is 01:00:20 Like, I was naive to the fact that, like, if anything ever happened to me, I can't turn to these same people in Axel. Yeah. They might still be my friend or they might still be cool, associates, whatever it is, but I can't turn in them and be like, well, I got an idea. I think I want to start this.
Starting point is 01:00:38 You think you can help me? And it's like, no, I can't. That's true. That's the shitty part about it, though. It is. That should have break your heart. People don't, but people don't look at shit that way when they end super need a super need of,
Starting point is 01:00:49 shit. Like, if you're going to get somebody from at least, like he said, work hard towards it, like, and have an intent to either, not even double it, but just at least get a nigga his bread back if you get it. And I don't matter how much bread, but I'm just looking at how, like,
Starting point is 01:01:02 LeBron, how he put his people in position. And I'm not going to say he put them in position. Like, they worked for whatever their position was. But now, if anything was to ever happen to Brian, Brian can go to Mab. He can go to Rich. He can go to any of them and say,
Starting point is 01:01:17 hey and obviously we know Brian ain't gonna be in that situation but we was like Brian need a man yeah I need Brock can casually ask one of them for a M though it doesn't matter like and they'll be like okay yeah what you're doing niggins ain't gonna say you up a billy what we're doing for sure but they built they shit
Starting point is 01:01:37 Brian is a great example for that yeah trying to find a lot of them type of niggas not even on that level it's hard bro yeah it's hard but like you said everybody around Brian had their own hustle on. They had their own intent. They had their own goals. So when it was just time to plug and play,
Starting point is 01:01:52 niggins was already ready to the situation. Use me as a source to get your shit going. Don't use my money. Right. Me. This was a great total. So with that being said, y'all know how much these windows, though? I can depend on y'all.
Starting point is 01:02:06 No, no, use me. Don't use my money. Yeah, see. See, that's the money. You're asking you're asking for money. See? That'd be the problem. Like, like we did that.
Starting point is 01:02:17 I don't know what we have. And you was like, yo, we go, like the car. The car. The car. The car.
Starting point is 01:02:23 The car. You used me. We don't know no window people like that. Well, see, the problem with the windows is then we got to tell how much money you make and then now it just get tricky. Well, yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:33 Oh, okay. And I don't glorify the street. But how I was brought up, bro, the dope-dills of my neighborhood. If it was six of them, you didn't know who had the most money. That's fired. That's all I ever wanted to my life.
Starting point is 01:02:46 That was my, like, Yeah. Vision growing up. And the niggins you thought that was the most flashes with the shit. You just knew them niggins didn't have the most money. Yeah, I never wanted to sell dope or anything. So I never got into it. I never gave a fuck what they did.
Starting point is 01:02:57 I was, I foked with how they moved as a unit together. I'm like, damn, I wish me and my niggas could do that. As a kid, I grew up, like glorifying that.
Starting point is 01:03:05 I didn't know. I was so close to the street niggas. But it wasn't because I wanted to sell dope. It was that. And I wanted to rock for my niggas like this. Because I had such a big age gap between me and my brothers. And we close. But I was.
Starting point is 01:03:17 And I didn't have brothers and shit in the crib. So I'll just, them was my niggas type shit. No, I wanted all my friends, everybody that was around, I wanted them all to have money. I wanted to go places. Like, shit easier. I give you an example, Courtney Lee. Shout out to C. Lee.
Starting point is 01:03:32 Like legend. I'm not going to say he's not cool with his friends. I don't know their friend situation. But he used to always ask me like, why are you always with the same niggas? I used to be like they're my friends. Yeah. He was like, you don't never get tired of, like,
Starting point is 01:03:45 having to, like, they don't live the same. as us. Like, you know, you can't never just go somewhere. You got to always pay for them to do the same, have the same experience you're going to have. Right. It might make them uncomfortable to do some of the shit you want to do. So you got to pay for it. And I was like, yeah, that don't really bother me because I know one day we all going to be able to do that. And that's how my mom would work. Obviously, it probably didn't go that way. But all my people that have been around for the most part, they all work towards something. And they all got their own motion. It might be in a different level. It's hard for me to just get NBA money. Yeah. It is. But I never live in. NBA life. I mean, I have. Let me stop. I have.
Starting point is 01:04:20 No, you did. But I know who's chest for money. I'm a thousand-air type of guy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I do a thousand-air type shit. So we go to the club in the section 1500. We know who they look to. Yeah, my niggins could get 1,500 sections.
Starting point is 01:04:35 Sure. Yeah. We always looking to the, my sister. We was in Vegas. That girl kept up my shoulder. I said, man, don't touch me no more. That young gentleman with them thin glasses. Touch him.
Starting point is 01:04:48 My nigga put his glasses over and look at the bill. Hey. He said this one's on y'all. Hey, you know what's so good? We all was chilling. But a girl, like, you know how they be outside the section? And they was like, that's $5.20 in here. It's $5.20, whatever.
Starting point is 01:05:07 We all just sitting there looking retarded. I mean, looking stupid. And she was like, oh, they ain't, nothing. That's the nigger with the money. Yes. Mike was getting a bottom. That's $1. That's a funny.
Starting point is 01:05:22 That's a funny. There's a one sale. Mike was over there, like. I was thinking like. He was like, he was going to get up. He was like, $3,500. Like, we're not doing that. Like, you know.
Starting point is 01:05:32 Oh, my goodness. What fucking Bill was something? He was hot in a bit. I think I'd be thinking I'd be faking about me being a granddad. I really don't like that. No, yeah. Oh, no, you don't like no of that shit. But it's cool that, like I said,
Starting point is 01:05:44 even with us just, going out. It ain't really never know. I ain't a lot. It should be weakest. It ain't no smoke when it comes to the It's so weak. It ain't coming to the bill. And it'd be so awkward because everybody's speaking to be like, nigger, we don't want to be here right now.
Starting point is 01:05:58 Niggas, if you're standing there like like y'all be like, I'm a focal day time. I'm going to have a good time. Yeah, but if it's like a DJ, like when Metro was there, you are. Yeah, that's, yeah. You biving, you like doing your shit. But y'all right know I'm awkward. So I'm just standing there looking weird.
Starting point is 01:06:14 and this niggins dabbing you up Yeah, Mike, Mike, awkward, he's more awkward than me, so he always on ready to go. So he always doing, he always, he always, he's always, 12 a club. Mike and he's there for me to have fun. Well, Mike and less a speech before we actually
Starting point is 01:06:35 getting to be, like, hey, look, y'all know, look, got this, we got this, yeah. By here, 15 minutes, y'all. DJ just be over there. And then Mike is, Yeah. He's over there like this. I'm saying like this.
Starting point is 01:06:47 Be me in his own world. Yeah, what I'm about? I talk for everybody, though. And I appreciate you. I'm over there like and Mike looking at his watch the whole time. It's a weird-ass section. And that's a concert yesterday, man. And that's like a joint boy.
Starting point is 01:07:02 Jack Clark has expired for sure. Now, while we here, man, shout out to the family of Dallas, man. My boys, man, they held us down, man. Oh, I ask for quick. You know, Donald Taylor? Mm-hmm. Okay, you know, how many, like, what songs do you know? I don't know the song names, but I like,
Starting point is 01:07:14 like all the songs. My nigga. See, that's fair. That's like, because I don't, I'd be struggling with words or, I mean,
Starting point is 01:07:20 names of songs too, but I'm telling you, bro. He got crazy shit, bro. Man. I'm not saying him. So I'm like,
Starting point is 01:07:27 I just don't know his music. You don't listen to you on this one. Would I be turned to it? Like, when I have my parties at my house,
Starting point is 01:07:33 when they come, they're on their way back to you. Yay. You play, you play E85. Your crowd is a little. Debraitha. Nicky,
Starting point is 01:07:40 it's your crowd. Oh my God. Listen. Your niggas is my niggas A thousand percent But you got You have a lot of stragglers But let's not do that
