Starting point is 00:02:48 Happy Monday. It's 520 in the morning. Your favorite sports show here to keep you up to date. Everything in the sports world, especially basketball. I'm your host. My name is DJ Wills. Joining this morning by my two brothers to my left, my brother Henry to my right, my brother T. Fellas, good morning. How y'all doing?
Starting point is 00:03:02 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. What's happening? Cool, yeah. What's happening? Cool, man. What's up? My bad, y'all. We a little early. I got something to do. For sure, man. My boy had the gospel music on. You know it's a glorious Monday.
Starting point is 00:03:14 My boy started off with the gospel music. Yeah, that's one of my highlights. I had to get the gospel before I seen Tyler Hero highlight. I was gonna say, boy, we need some type of piece of music, boy. That was going crazy. The NBA yesterday, get straight to it, man. The heat got the Rockies yesterday, 104 to 100. The score does not matter.
Starting point is 00:03:34 Cause what really happened was they was out there squabbling yesterday. It's been a lot of tension in the NBA. And yesterday did not let us down at all, man. Tyler Hill was killing though. 27, nine to six, your favorite white boy, man. Yeah. You know what I mean? A-man got him together though.
Starting point is 00:03:46 Or was that a sewer? Which one that wasn't? I don't know, which one fuck with the Rockets. One of the twins. You know what I mean? He flung my boy, you know what I mean? Like a rag now. Looking straight to it, man.
Starting point is 00:03:56 Confrontation to the NBA is the best. Talking about the ratings are down, this is how you get them back up, pause. This is crazy. I love me the strongest. This is crazy. Look at me. Strong as hell. Bro, they mean that up with the Street Fighter sweep throw. Bro, I was crying, man.
Starting point is 00:04:14 He's strong as hell. Terry was on that though. Nah, shout out to young Chum Chum. He with the shit, standing up for his mans, but that, we can talk about the game, but that's crazy though. Yeah, I mean, it's the shit that's important his mans, but that, we can talk about the game, but that's crazy though. Yeah, I mean, it's a shit as a party. You get in somebody's faces.
Starting point is 00:04:28 I don't know what happened though. I don't know what boiled over to make them feel like that. Tyler Hero said when you busted somebody's ass, that's how it feel. Remind me of Eddie House. Yeah. But we remember more the headband smack than we do the wind in the performance.
Starting point is 00:04:41 Yeah, we ain't gonna never forget this, Tyler. No, never. Ain't no way he was running around afterwards. Like, yeah. Hold me back, hold me back. Yeah, he felt how strong but he was, bro. He like, he fought full D young boy. Yeah, Tyler Hero ain't little either, bro.
Starting point is 00:04:57 So, to a sore, said, well, LOT, something else. Boy, that weight room different, man. They put that in the pamphlet. Damn. Bro, yeah, he weight room different. They put that in the pamphlet. Damn. Oh yeah, he probably gonna get a nice fine suspension. Yeah, he got to. The crazy thing about it is, it was a two-hand grasp of his jersey.
Starting point is 00:05:14 For him to like, judo throw him that quick, bro, was hilarious. Soon as Tyler touched him, it was up. He wasn't no talking, he wasn't on nothing. He flexed, oh boy, on the second, I mean, San Antonio Spurs like that too though. You know what I'm talking about? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:05:30 Hey, I was done. Not like he didn't throw him across the floor, but he got him out the way pretty easily. And the whole conversation, Barbara Spooner, because I was here, was like, I didn't say nothing to him, bro. Something was said, because he felt the way. Nah, you said something.
Starting point is 00:05:40 Or maybe you just got into his face too close, and he was already pissed. If you watch the video, they not even he talking about a play like screen getting open. He kind of like use his body by like trying to get into him to get open. He kind of grabbed him. And it was all right. It's kind of funny though. Be security somebody club.
Starting point is 00:06:03 I love it because burning back to a tour he was just like, Hey, what's his father? I'm paying it. He's club, boy. I love niggas, Vernon back to the Twitter. He was just like, hey, what's his vibe? I'm paying it. He was like, that's my favorite young boy. Niggas out of pocket, see, Twitter fraud. Twitter told Vernon, nah, they used to owe champs for it. See, that's crazy. See, that's crazy.
Starting point is 00:06:19 Y'all gotta stay off Twitter, bro. Yeah, fuck it. No. So do them. They make sense. I was dying too, cause they clipped up the plows, the colored money when he got thrown off state. Bro, man, anytime something crazy happened in the NBA, the memes is on deck, bro. It was hilarious, man.
Starting point is 00:06:31 But all in all, listen, man, come back away from the heat. The game was really good yesterday. And I can see why the Rockets were frustrated. They had a terrible, terrible fourth quarter yesterday. They had an eight minute stretch, but they knew a damn thing. That's the reason why they lost this game,
Starting point is 00:06:44 let them back in there for sure.. They had a terrible, terrible fourth quarter yesterday. They had an eight minute stretch, but they knew a damn thing. That's the reason why they lost this game, let them back in there for sure. Dylan Brooks was hoping yesterday, 22 and four. Sunken was killing 18, 18 and six. Your favorite white board, Big Killin' Man,
Starting point is 00:06:57 one of the most consistent players for the Heat so far. You think they got a chance to make some noise in the East? Yeah, I mean, it's the East, so they do. I mean, they ain't not championship bound or nothing, but they're a solid team for sure. You think they need to figure out what they're gonna do with Jimmy first before they can have any real expectations for the rest of the season?
Starting point is 00:07:14 I mean, that's probably already written, bro. It just ain't broke yet. You think, Salty, you think, you know what I'm saying, they had a couple of DMPs that wasn't a necessary tour illness, but you know. I think. Competition, reconditioning is a hell of a DMP. Yeah, I think Jimmy Khan probably checked out probably. I mean, playing with him, being on the scene,
Starting point is 00:07:34 maybe in Minnesota, when he say he won't out, he out. Yeah, it's over with, so they probably need to trading. I mean, I hear a lot of people talking about De'Aaron Fox not being happy, him and Bam being really good friends. Miami, Sacramento, Sacramento can just throw the, whatever out now, let him fire the coach or whatever so they can get rid of De'Aaron Fox, not get ripped,
Starting point is 00:07:58 but like let him and Jimmy both go and move on and be an easy swap. That's kind of crazy. I would have to send Jimmy to the Kings, man. He deserves better than that. But you gotta think they both gonna be unrestricted free agents after next year. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:13 So, it's just like an even, yeah, it's like an even swipe. And then Jimmy probably won't opt in in Sacramento so they'd be able to get everything off the books. Yeah. And really just start over. Clean sweep of the situation. It's interesting you say that because I know they were talking about it
Starting point is 00:08:26 with the Clippers rebuild situation. They were just like, yeah, we could have traded Paul George, but by letting him walk, you freed up so much money to have all the rotation players that they have today and to keep James Harden. Yeah. And so far it's looked fruitful for sure.
Starting point is 00:08:37 Another thing about this game too, apparently, like Mark Davis as a ref, pisses a lot of people off because Fraybeard Fleet got injected yesterday. He bumped into him. Yeah, it looked incidental I don't know if the history side of forever if we did help in the situation But a lot of people just like this game guy escalate like that cuz mark that was to be a bullshit That's what it is though. Yeah, they said a lot of these are the call for but I'm saying they gonna start shooting him
Starting point is 00:08:59 I'm like Draymond she was Test because you can put that missile on your back pause, but they looking for you to come out so they can get you up out of there, bro. Yeah, and I remember you said that when he caught up, when he was crazy and on board beforehand, he was just like, yeah, he's not gonna get the benefit of the rest of the season.
Starting point is 00:09:15 Yeah, I told you, the rest of the year, rest of his career, the refs gang together, they a gang. I mean, like the NBA players, they all got their own league basically inside the league. We all root for each other. We all want the best for each other. The refs the same way.
Starting point is 00:09:29 So if you mess with one of the refs, like Tim Donahue he told y'all, yeah y'all fuck with them refs, he gonna get you back. So it don't matter. He no benefits of the call, none of that. The refs gonna go, they gonna hold each other down. So it's gonna be a rough, rough, rough future for Van Fleet.
Starting point is 00:09:46 Damn man, that's crazy. Give us some of them man. For the Rockets to do a little bit more, who you think needs to take that next step? Jalen Green, Sungan or Van Fleet? Sungan's doing what he can bro. I mean he a killer. Jalen Green I guess.
Starting point is 00:10:01 He getting better every year. So probably it's Jalen Green, but it ain't really no knock to his game. They still, he's still young bro. So they can stay stride I think. As much as I hate on them, they had a decent team for sure. They can keep their core together.
Starting point is 00:10:13 Jalen Green got to solidify himself as a star. I think he just right now a really good young player. He can play, he can score, but he got to solidify himself as a star. And that's going to be averaging like 25 to 26 points a game. If that's the guy he going to be, if he's going to be the star for that team, he has to like up his score in the 25, 26 points a game.
Starting point is 00:10:34 And he has the capability to do that. I see him in a role of like Jalen Brown and all those guys, athletic wing, trying to play both ends, but he going to have to be more of a efficient scorer for them to get over that hump. Right now they just a really good young team with some guys that's capable.
Starting point is 00:10:52 But for them to get over that hump, he's gonna have to be the guy guy. For sure man, you know, he get a lot of comparisons with the draft situation with K cutting him. They like already know, K just come to his home to solidify himself as a leader of a team. And he don't got nearly as much the same talent as you. Cause if you put K cutting him on their,
Starting point is 00:11:07 on their Rockets team, it might be a different conversation. Even though the Rockets is doing well this year, no knock to them. Obviously they, they doing their thing, but yeah, he, he got to solidify himself to the start as well. I wonder what the suspicions is going to be like. We had six people tossing this game.
Starting point is 00:11:20 Najee Marshall got four games for defending himself against Nurt. So I wonder what these rules is gonna be. Ah yeah, the twin, he definitely gonna get a nice suspension, but it's the guys that run off, if anybody ran on the court from the benches, they gonna definitely get one game, it's automatic. Yeah, Terry Roger.
Starting point is 00:11:39 But I think Terry Roger was in the game. He got out in the game. Yeah, I think he was taking the ball out. I'm interested to see. Because that nigga ran four. Yeah, I think he was taking the ball out. I'm interested to see. Because that nigga ran four. Yeah, I'm interested to see what they do. And he pulled up, shout to Terry. He owed his teammate that.
Starting point is 00:11:50 He was taking the ball, that makes sense. I hope he don't get a suspension for that though. Nah, cause he broke it up a little bit. I mean, they incited a little bit, but still, supposed to slap your teammate, but that shit with Nerset was hilarious, bro. I don't know what it is. Like, I wonder if he rolls people the wrong way.
Starting point is 00:12:04 Cause consistently people are trying to swing on him, bro. Yeah, he talk a lot of shit, bro. I don't know what it is. Like, I wonder if he rubs people the wrong way. Cause consistently people are trying to swing on him, bro. Yeah, he talk a lot of shit. Everybody said that. He gotta be talking, bro. And he just don't like him this good. He talk a lot of shit. He talk a bunch of shit, matter of fact. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:12:14 And ain't nothing wrong with it. I mean, I hear you're a good guy. People like his teammates like him, but off the court, he talk a bunch of shit. I ain't gonna lie. Yeah, cause after he know I'm sitting here, and I just got into it. And it's funny, cause if you zoom in on that video,
Starting point is 00:12:25 Kyrie faced the whole time while they getting into it, it's hilarious, bro. But they was like, damn, Drey Ma really wasn't out of pocket, but Drey Ma's swing on him, it still wasn't the funniest videos, bro. He hit him too hard, bro. They was supposed to really like square up with that bro.
Starting point is 00:12:39 That ain't basketball no more, man. You know, I was thinking about the sun since we talking about Nurture, you know? Ever since they traded DeAndre A, and we gonna talk about him later, they been, they ain't been good. Like they ain't been good. Like everybody hated DeAndre A, not there or whatever.
Starting point is 00:12:57 It was a problem. But he was killing. He was, bro. He was killing, and they was good. And like ever since they let him go, they ain't been the same. You know what's crazy, you talk about that finals run that they had, I mean, Chris Paul definitely deserved
Starting point is 00:13:09 a lot of praise for that as well as Demi Booker, but he was killing. He was killing. He was killing until he just stopped getting the ball in the second half of the finals. These is don't care, because he's not really killing where he at now. I mean, but they need a big and it's crazy.
Starting point is 00:13:22 He liked the big that fit them. Like can guard, can make a 15 footer, get rebounds. The timing was just bad on that too. He still want his chicken too so. And that's another Monte Williams situation. We don't see it too situation. We've seen Monte Williams piss off some young talent and everybody kind of took it to face value
Starting point is 00:13:41 and then he moved on. Everybody like, well, maybe they could play. Cause where did he go? Arizona? Yeah. Yeah. He, he was for sure a promising. I mean, he still is, you know what I mean? Shout out to DeAndre, but I need my paper, bro. He got paid.
Starting point is 00:13:54 He got paid. That's what I'm saying, you can't pay all five of them. Yeah. And that's a great transition you said, cause I'm happy he did not come to Indianapolis, boy. It was almost done. And I'm so happy that it did not happen. Why? Cause we don't need him. Getting some holiday shopping done this weekend.
Starting point is 00:14:08 Pick up some touchdowns. They're on sale at DraftKings Sportsbook, an official sportsbook partner of the NFL. What else would you expect? The number one place to bet touchdowns. Grab some TDs with DraftKings Sportsbook. They're on sale from Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday. Download the DraftKings Sportsbook app and use code club 520 to opt in. That's code club 520 only on DraftKings. The crowd is yours.

Hey I'm Miles Gray and I'm Jack O'Brien we're the hosts of The Daily Zeitgeist, and we wanna tell you about Miles and Jack got mad boosties

Starting point is 00:16:19 Very few companies who go viral are like totally prepared for what that means. And Zoe Tillman, senior legal reporter. Courts are not supposed to decide elections. Courts are not really supposed to play a big role in choosing our elected leaders. It's for the voters to decide. Follow The Big Take podcast on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you listen. In the aftermath of a transformative election like the one we just had, it's hard to read the news without asking yourself every five seconds, how did we get here? That's exactly what we're always
Starting point is 00:16:55 trying to figure out on Fiasco, a history podcast from the co-creators of Slow Burn. In our first season, Bush v Gore, we examine an unmistakable turning point in American politics, the 2000 election, which came down to a recount in Florida and ended with one of the most controversial rulings in Supreme Court history. In many ways, it's the beginning of the story we're living through right now. So if you're trying to make sense at the present moment, check out Fiasco, Bush v. Gore, and find out how a statistical tie in the Florida vote count put the nation into an unprecedented holding pattern, during which American voters waited
Starting point is 00:17:30 with bated breath to find out whether Al Gore or George W. Bush would be the next president of the United States. Listen on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you listen to podcasts. Listen to podcasts. Hey everyone. I'm Madison Packer, a pro hockey veteran going on my 10th season in New York. And I'm Anya Packer, a former pro hockey player and now a full Madison Packer stan. Anya and I met through hockey and now we're married and moms to two awesome toddlers. And on our new podcast, Moms Who Puck, we're opening up about the chaos of our daily lives between the juggle of being athletes,
Starting point is 00:18:07 raising children and all the messiness in between. We're also turning to fellow athletes and beyond to learn about their parenthood journeys and collect valuable advice. Like FIFA World Cup winner, Ashlyn Harris. I wish my village would have prepared me for how hard motherhood was gonna be. And Peloton instructor and Ratchet Mom Club founder, Kirsten Ferguson.
Starting point is 00:18:28 And I remember going in there hot mess. So listen to Moms Who Puck, a production of iHeart Women's Sports and Deep Blue Sports and Entertainment on the iHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Capital One, founding partner of iHeart Women's Sports. Pachel took care of the Celtics yesterday. 123, 114. Now let me go ahead. We won yesterday. Mudo.
Starting point is 00:18:53 Hey, we beat the best team in the NBA. It's only, we beat them twice this year. I want the record to show. The Cavs the best team in the NBA. No, the Celtics are the best team in the NBA. I'm not talking about records. You know that the Celtics is taking care of the Cavs in the series.
Starting point is 00:19:04 I know you're trying to get the Cleveland bro, but we're not gonna do that. You know that the Celtics is taking care of the Cavs in the series. I know you try to get the Cleveland bro, but we're not gonna do that. I'm telling you who the best NBA player is. No, you're not gonna discount my win. We beat the best NBA yesterday. I think we beat our ass on Friday. Shout out to Tyrese Halliburton, 3176. You know what it is.
Starting point is 00:19:17 All NBA performer, Nim Hart. That nigga Crescendo chains. I'm never gonna talk with no Paisley boy out loud. It's been dark out here, man. I need some light, man. We got a nice quality win yesterday in the Garden. You change, I'm never gonna talk about those places, boy, y'all loud. It's been dark out here, man. I need some light, man. We got a nice quality win yesterday in the Garden, you know what I'm saying? JB had 31, 16, four after he torched us the other night
Starting point is 00:19:31 for tying his career high crazy. They said, hey, don't need more shots. 22, 19, he need more shots? Yeah, I keep telling y'all, bro. I mean, I don't know if he need more shots. I mean, they, as a team, Payne Pritchard, murdering yesterday, they. Us losing to the Pacers is just, it's not cool.
Starting point is 00:19:47 Us? Oh, wow. Anytime Jason Tatum don't get the shots he deserves, it's us. It's us, okay. Respect. Celtics lost four in their last six. Do you have any concerns with that? They still good, they just dealing with it.
Starting point is 00:20:03 I mean, you have up and down seasons. I mean, moments in the season. Guys that's not really playing with right now, like Hauser, who was shooting the ball great last year. Not shooting the ball is good. They don't have a consistent rotation with, you know, Porzingis being in and out of the lineup. I was a year older.
Starting point is 00:20:22 I think it's still a really good group. But I don't know, they look like they could be beat. They don't look as dominant as they once did. But I think they're still a really good team. Drew's been out in and out of the lineup the last couple of games. Yeah, you're saying to let me be fair, Drew Holliday did not play yesterday.
Starting point is 00:20:41 I'm sure that would definitely make a difference for sure. That's why y'all won, bro. That's why y'all won, bro. It's cool. I don't care who played. We won. I'll take my dubs, however I can get them. I don't care. Okay. That's my biggest fear about the Celtics though.
Starting point is 00:20:51 They want injury away. They have so much talent, but it's like who gets hurt? Like if Drew is out, they're a different team. And I don't know if I trust it. Like Derek White is good, but if Derek White is out, I think he's replaceable. I just don't think Drew. And I don't know if I trust it. Like Derek White is good, but if Derek White is out, I think he's replaceable. I just don't think Drew is.
Starting point is 00:21:10 Just cause he plays off the ball so well, Derek White is more of a scorer than Drew. Right? And I think Peyton Pritchard is more of a scorer than Drew. What Drew bring to the table is that Swiss Army knife. He do a little bit of everything, he rebound, guard, and he can score. Derek White very similar, but they do it differently.
Starting point is 00:21:26 And I just think Drew is more important, but hell, I don't know. I still feel like they're full strip, and no disrespect to the Cavs, they're having a phenomenal season. I feel like they're full strip. The Celtics are still the best team in the NBA. I don't think nobody won't smoke with them
Starting point is 00:21:39 when everybody's available for sure. But you gotta respect to the Cavs, they kill it right now. Quali went fresh yesterday. I was real questionable about that situation after we just got smacked. These were accounted for losses. We played some really, really good teams last week and just going straight, going forward.
Starting point is 00:21:54 But shout out to Tyrese Hellerberg. Man, we bounced back. We are slowly looking like the team that we were last year. Love that for us. What are you in the East? We at eight right now. You know what I'm saying? We got some ways to go.
Starting point is 00:22:04 I think we 15 and 17 right now. 16, 17? 16, 17. Yeah, excuse me. Yeah? We at eight right now, you know what I'm saying? We got some ways to go. I think we 15 and 17 right now. 16, 17? 16, 17. Yeah, excuse me. Yeah, we at eight right now. We know in the East you're a three game win streak away from being in their home quarterback. Is Tyler Hero an all-star this year?
Starting point is 00:22:16 Is it him or Cade Cunningham? One of them gotta go. And the guard position? I'll give it to Cade. I'm gonna give it to Tyler Hero. They seventh in the East. Let's go back to the position of the East. I mean, 24, five and five is not nothing to slide at.
Starting point is 00:22:30 He's fucking murdering. But what's the studies again? I'm sorry. I'm not gonna keep up with my boy. Are there Detroit Pistons in the playing playoffs? They're at 10th. Oh, okay. Kade, I don't know, man.
Starting point is 00:22:40 The records ain't too far off, but I think Tyler Hero having a career year. I think Kade cutting him is too, it's been a great, but. Kade's stats might be better. They are, but. He don't also play with two other max players, either them nor, so I get it. Yeah, I mean, somebody got to score.
Starting point is 00:22:58 That's what people used to tell me. When you're so. You're traumatized by that. When you suck, somebody got to score the ball. And I think Cary Cunningham is a terrific player. I think he'd be good on any body team. I think he'd be a star on any body team. Well, he just happened to be on the Detroit Pistons right now, who I think is a quality team.
Starting point is 00:23:18 I don't think they're bad at all. Always show love to them. All 24, 10 and seven, yeah, all star. Yeah, sorry Tyler. They matched they Wednesdays and last year already. Oh, facts, they having a great year for Detroit. But he might get the nod over Tyler Hero. If it's between them two, bro,
Starting point is 00:23:36 and y'all know how I ride for the TH. I think, I think Cadenham is more deserving because of what he brings to that team. Like. He's more important. Yeah, he's more important to that team. I don't know though. Cause Tyler Herald, the only one hooping for him might be Heath.
Starting point is 00:23:51 If you start J-Knot, and no disrespect to that, if you start J-Knot with that point guard position for that pistol team. Replace Keeling Hayes with Cunningham. And what are your pistols looking like? Lottery! You know what I'm saying? Like, who whooping for the heat though? Who you take out to?
Starting point is 00:24:10 I mean, you still got BAM. I mean, but what BAM average? BAM average for like 15 probably, I think. But BAM's still on NBA. I mean, I know maybe. He's definitely capable. Yeah, 16, 10, and five, that's solid. Especially the big.
Starting point is 00:24:24 That's good, but take 24 points out. You missing Jimmy Butler. Take 27 and 10 out. No, yeah, take that out. You having a rough year too. He gave the Detroit Pistons fan base hope. They have to. I'm not, you listen, I'm not mad at either one.
Starting point is 00:24:39 But I'm just saying, the heat. Man, they missing Jimmy this whole year and still to be seventh in the East. That's a lot to do with Tyler Hero. No, for sure. I mean, it's funny because, I mean. Oh yeah, yeah, I know that's my guy. We overreact here, but two weeks ago,
Starting point is 00:24:52 we were talking about this team should probably blow it up. So of course, you gotta show respect for Tyler Hero. He's fucking balling right now. He's keeping him afloat right now. But if it goes between the two, they just gonna show the clip of him getting tossed and be like, nah, we gonna take K. K would never.
Starting point is 00:25:03 Yeah, I don't know how he would, but. Yeah, it get wicked. I just like to show the appreciation of him keeping him afloat. For sure man, shout out to the Indiana Pikes who took care of business, man. Got a win in Boston yesterday. A lot of people can't say that.
Starting point is 00:25:17 And we gonna talk about some more later. They lost four, they lost six, right? I don't care. We back on track. So what's up with Team Seeg? We lost to the Thunder. They own a 10 game win streak. These are counter for losses.
Starting point is 00:25:29 That was hate too by the way. That was hate. I thought you was gonna be a person spin next year, but I'm trying to put in a good word. But I played for Boston too. Respect. You said you had more fun than me, Tapp. I can't help that.
Starting point is 00:25:45 Indiana was literally my favorite year of playing basketball. But for some reason I just, I don't know why I don't associate myself with being a face. We gonna get some bobbing at that next year. T Wolves got the close one on Spurs yesterday, 112 to 110. I mean, when B.B. Hooping? 34 to eight, man. Crazy.
Starting point is 00:26:02 Yeah, they just sad, bro. Harris to bars, 24 to five. Mr. Randall, let me sad, bro. Here's bars 24, five. Mr. Rand, let me get to 20. Dante DiVincianzo played a lot better than he has been playing, 26, seven and four. And yesterday had a slow night, 14 and eight. Man, after having a great year last year, what do you think the T-Wheels will do
Starting point is 00:26:19 to get DiVincianzo back comfortable with this situation? She gotta keep hooping, bro. Okay, it's on him? I think he gotta find his own way. Yeah, they grown. You gotta find his own way. It ain't like one of the rookies or something, bro. You over there, bro, figure out a way
Starting point is 00:26:32 to mess with your team. They still gotta make him feel comfortable. I don't know what that locker room looking like, but it's majority on him, though, bro. Find your way. Nah, it's just difficult going, being a starter, to going back to the bench and having that same kind of camaraderie
Starting point is 00:26:48 you had with guys you played college basketball with. Y'all friends, best friends, now you go to a situation, you coming off the bench, you don't know none of these dudes. You know it's gonna take some time to adjust. I mean, that's a starting point right there, 26 off the bench or whatever you did, you might have started, I don't know, I ain't watched that game,
Starting point is 00:27:04 that wasn't one of my favorites to watch last night. But he just got to get comfortable, like he said. But it's going to take more time than this. I just don't think the T-Wolves is a really good team. Yeah, I think that this year they've definitely taken a step back. Oh, I know we've all talked about their trade and stuff, but man, don't leave while you're hot.
Starting point is 00:27:22 Yeah, that kind of set them back this year. But do you think it'd be any major changes in the off season if things keep going the way they are be here? Just off season, I mean, it could, but they might give it another year to work out. Nobody really cares about Minnesota. We just keep it real.
Starting point is 00:27:38 Ant is just, you know, a star. Yeah, Paul Ryan's a figure. Yeah, and Rudy is fucking Rudy, but no, nobody really cares. Like there's not a franchise that they're really too much worried about. See, the thing is they have to like, they have, they're in a situation where they got like,
Starting point is 00:27:53 they just drafted Rob Dillingham with what, the eighth, ninth pick or something like that. Young guard, they still got Mike there to help, you know, room them for that starting position one day. The difference is this team's not that good, so you might have to tap into y'all young talent a little earlier to see what you got. Yep.
Starting point is 00:28:12 Right. They got some capable players that could be up for trade. Randall is a capable player, he's good. I don't think he fits with Ant. I mean, they had great moments. You know, the Christmas Day game, Ant went crazy. They had a lot of good moments. Yeah, but to build around that.
Starting point is 00:28:29 You don't want to go around doing Ant. No, you just extended Rudy, so he's going to be there for a while. And Mike is damn near 40. So it's time to give, you know, get some other people a look. And it's probably sooner than later. I mean, I don't think this team is going to go anywhere in the playoffs. If they do, I think they'll be a playing team.
Starting point is 00:28:49 Yeah. I was going to say, at least by all start break, we should see more of Rob Dylan, him, and Terrence Shane Jr. Like see what the young talent can do for sure. Because you got these rotational pieces that while some are proven, it ain't working right now. And you got to see what you got going for next year. And also, like you said, small market team,
Starting point is 00:29:04 you better keep it happy. You got to keep it happy. Like you might as well ride it out. Like Nas Reed, see if Nas Reed can play the four. You know what I mean? I like Julius Randall, but let's see if we can do something with Nas Reed. Save a lot more money.
Starting point is 00:29:18 He's already on a team friendly contract. Then you got Nikhil Alexander Walker, who's a capable player, but you got Dante DiVincenzo. Both of them are good trade pieces. Their contracts are not too crazy. And both are capable. Nice, nice face. The Timberlake's better than Julius Rundle for sure.
Starting point is 00:29:36 Yeah, facts. But you gotta premiere him, because you know what you gotta do. You gotta be able to either move on from him, or keep him as an asset for sure. And has been very, you know what I'm saying, public about how he feels recently. Boy, racking up these fines, man.
Starting point is 00:29:50 Going crazy in these post-game interviews, cussing. They said, should he tone it down or should he just keep being himself? Adidas probably paying for it, it's fine. Can't be paying that through, turn up. Nah, you gotta kind of tone it down a little bit because you know, like when you catching a vibe and you the one people, they look for you to come down.
Starting point is 00:30:08 They wanna tear you down. Everybody, when you get to the top, it's only one way to go and that's down. So they gonna look for every bit of thing to try to turn down a little bit. So just keep playing it cool. I mean, we get it. That's what we loved them for last year.
Starting point is 00:30:23 Yeah. Them being raw in the interviews, turning it up, joking. Just, you know, come off a little different. Kind of how we got to do in the morning show. We'd be wild in that night. Then we come in here, we got to try to tone it down a little bit, but just tone it down because the kids is watching.
Starting point is 00:30:36 Shout out to the kids. I wonder what the podcast fun is. Who the commissioner of the podcast game? Oh Lord. Joe Bud. Joe. But you know who do interviews really well, like the podcast game? Oh lord. Joe bud. Joe. But you know who do interviews really well? Like after the game?
Starting point is 00:30:50 Cole Anthony. His after view, after the game interviews be lit, right? I think he hit the game winner yesterday. He did. Yeah. His after the game interview was funny as hell. And he shot bad too. So for him to have that confidence still
Starting point is 00:31:02 at the end of the game was fire. But like the play being written up for somebody else and he was like, yeah. And then I just took the ball. I went to go get it. Oh, it wasn't his fault? Nah, that was a solid game yesterday. Magic got the Nets and went on to the 1-1.
Starting point is 00:31:16 They came back down for 21. Listen, man, we talked about, I don't know if you'll get it, but Coach Mo's, bro, he gotta get some coachier consideration, bro. They are winning games, bro, no matter what the situation is. Like you said, Coach Anthony had a situation where he wasn't in the rotation,
Starting point is 00:31:28 waited his turn, got back to it. And that game where he just said, hilarious. And he's like, the play was not drawn up for me. But it made that bitch happen. I was watching it, but he wasn't shooting the ball well. That's not why I cut it off, but I just didn't think, I didn't know. Yeah, floating for game is hilarious.
Starting point is 00:31:42 Yeah, he kept it rough. For a part that's not for me, shout out to Cole. That's fire. I fuck with that. That's a different type of confidence. And he's just a cool dude though. Yeah, he's super cool, super personal. So he probably keep that locker room lit, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:31:57 You can tell how happy everybody be for him when he have his moments. Hell, he like a cool dude. That's what I like. I love them kind of people. Like damn, everybody be hype when he have his moments. He like a cool dude. That's what I like. I love them kind of people. Like damn, everybody be hype when he have his games. Bro, if I wasn't a Pacersman, I would definitely be all in on Orlando Magic, bro.
Starting point is 00:32:12 I like the culture that got built. I like the way that they play basketball. It don't matter who's on the court. Everybody play hard. Seem to be selfish. Like you said, they celebrate for each other like that. Especially a young group like that. Celebrate for everybody, get paid.
Starting point is 00:32:23 Now they just like, let's go hoop. And you gotta applaud that. He kept his mental strong though, cause I'm sure his dad probably too, kept him helping to stay grounded too, cause that's a lot. That's an up and down wave. Yeah, just think about it like every year
Starting point is 00:32:37 they drafted a guard. Yeah. Jalen Suggs came before, after you got there, and then what's that, Anthony Black. And like for him not to even have no kind of hate or nothing and be like championing them dudes, like when Jalen Suggs got paid, he was hyped for him. He a different kind of cat,
Starting point is 00:32:54 cause I ain't gonna lie, I would've been like, yo, y'all gotta trade me though. Like, it's up, you know what I mean? We got three point guards. And then last year they had Markelle too, if people forget that. Yeah, you just max somebody out, like nah three point guards. And then last year they had Markell too. People forget that. You just max somebody out. Like nah.
Starting point is 00:33:08 Markell was playing last year. And was playing solid too. I'm surprised, you know, his situation. Hopefully he gets on the roster this year. Yeah, it's very shocking that he's not on the roster, but that's how the NBA worked, man. For sure, man. Yeah, that was a crazy game yesterday.
Starting point is 00:33:20 OKC took care of the Grizzlies yesterday, 131-06. And I ran off 11 straight in a row, man. HGA is looking like the AVP, 35-76. He's overdue, man. He's overdue. They cheated him last year. He gotta get the AVP this year, bro. He think he's the AVP.
Starting point is 00:33:34 I mean, he's early, but them boys is different. 11 in a row is tough, man. Boys is different, man. That's all I got to say, man. 31-5-6, man. Yeah. Yeah, AVP that. Shoulda got to say, man. 31, five and six, man. Yeah. Yeah. ABP that.
Starting point is 00:33:48 Should have got it last year, but he damn sure better get it this year. Especially if they keep it going though. Anything can happen after all-star break. Most definitely. Let's go to the settings in the west if you don't mind, please. They gotta keep that motion going though, for sure.
Starting point is 00:34:00 Come on, bro. They got a six game win streak. I mean, six game like above second place in the West. He got the Grizzlies at 22 and 11. Nah, I'm saying we just still under 40 games in the NBA. Know what I'm saying? So hopefully everybody can stay healthy and they can keep the train rolling.
Starting point is 00:34:16 Now what he doing with his number two being out? I don't know if he two or three. Jalen Williams can be two. I don't know, him and Chick can go back and forth, I guess. But for him being out and see what they doing with him out, it's crazy. I mean, that coach over there, he could be candidate for coach of the year again.
Starting point is 00:34:33 Most definitely, yeah. Cause what he's doing with that team is amazing. And having one of your better players out for most of the year. And then for SGA to be doing what he's doing. Y'all right, he might need to be in the talks for the top of the MVP ladder. For sure, bro.

Gore, and find out how a statistical tie in the Florida vote

Starting point is 00:38:48 And I remember going in there, hot mess. So listen to Moms Who Puck, a production of iHeart Women's Sports and Deep Blue Sports and Entertainment on the iHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Capital One, founding partner of iHeart Women's Sports. Presented by Capital One, founding partner of iHeart Women's Sports. And Sha'oxie, like you said, they had their whole defensive scheme based around, you know, centering it and pushing the check. And he's like, all right, I don't got checks. So now I'm playing all smaller wings or all guards.
Starting point is 00:39:16 And the concept ain't changed. Like, you got to respect that. He adjusted early in the season. They're still successful. A lot of coaches don't adjust at all. They just deal with whatever they got and see how the cards fall. But they got they big back the cards fall, but. I mean.
Starting point is 00:39:26 They got they big back too though. It was a blessing in disguise when Trey got hurt because Isaiah Hardenstein got a chance to play. Yeah, but he came back perfectly at the right time. The way he plays fit them perfectly. Yeah, but. He didn't come on in and disrupt anything. Nah, it should be interesting when Trey get back.
Starting point is 00:39:41 I would like to see how they play. If they play too big. Or they play, yous, or they play, you know, hard style off the bench. Or whatever. And they so versatile to like, like you said, depending upon the matchup, when they playing bigger teams, like when they playing the Nuggets and shit like that,
Starting point is 00:39:56 you can play at half both of them on the court at the same time. But if you need to switch off and stagger their minutes, that's still tough to get full energy from Chet and Ozzy. Like that's crazy. And the Knicks, we questioned them, like letting him walk like that. But man, so far the Knicks, they,
Starting point is 00:40:09 I can't say shit about them. Everything they have done has worked to perfection. So good move for both them. Mazen's thriving out there and they got cat. They ain't complaining at all. Yo, Hawks, man, took care of the rappers. 136, 107 for the last five. Trey Young, 34 and 10.
Starting point is 00:40:22 Yeah, where we at in the standards, man? We really starting to build something over there. Trey got seven, I believe. Yeah. No, I pocket five. You know what I mean? After winning last night. So I don't know, is Trey Young an All-Star?
Starting point is 00:40:33 Trey Stats, please, because if we talking about Cary Cunningham being an All-Star, ain't no way Trey Young ain't. Let him go on his run. I'm just saying. 22 and 12. That's tough. How are we not an All-Star?
Starting point is 00:40:44 That's tough. How are we not an All-Star? Is's tough. How are we not an All-Star? Is he the All-Star or the Hawks? How are we not an All-Star? 22 and 12. That new one. How are we not an All-Star? I'm just saying, we over here talking about K. Cunningham.
Starting point is 00:40:57 Oh. How is he not an All-Star? Hey, go to K. Cunningham numbers again, please. How are we not an All-Star? I'm trying to my God work today. I think we deserve an All-Star bid for Trae Young. I wouldn't be mad if Jalen Johnson made the All-Star team. I wouldn't, at all.
Starting point is 00:41:14 Sure I wouldn't, that's a fact. 24-10. Trae Cole though. 22-12. Yeah, Trae Cole. But we fifth in the East. Okay, the East, that's such a, look, let's go to the real deal.
Starting point is 00:41:27 It's a little close, what is it? Two games? Yeah, but. What Trae Young doing? But Trae Young is killing, bro. And he never get the respect he deserves. I would be mad if Trae Young lost. And they team me here, bro.
Starting point is 00:41:35 It's just him and Jalen over there. I mean, Deandre Hunter. Deandre Hunter is killing, too. I know what you're saying. This is just Trae Young team. So far, it's like competing tension. Deandre Hunter is having off. No, yeah, I'm just saying.
Starting point is 00:41:46 He's having a hell of a year. Nobody put the Hawks nowhere near in the playoffs. Nobody cared. They have no more pick, and we didn't even talk to them so far. They could have been the Hornets this year, and nobody would have cared. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:41:55 So for him to be willing to team to fifth is that special, bro. Yeah, they having a, Jalen Johnson's having a great year. Deandre Hunter and Trae Young. We got a three-headed monster that's playing really well right now. We just gotta continue to keep it going.
Starting point is 00:42:08 But Trae Young should be an all-star. And I wouldn't be mad if Jalen Johnson made it. So either one of them could make it, but I think Trae Young probably deserved it. No, I respect that for sure. My boy Clint Capella's whacking in on double-doubles too. Hey. Shout out to the blind, boy.
Starting point is 00:42:21 Mission consistent. Honestly, outside of like maybe Yannis and somebody else, I'll say open court, Jalen Johnson, one of the best players I've seen transitioning yet in a long time, unstoppable. Bro, he's so fast. He's so fast, an athlete. Yeah, bro, it's wicked, man.
Starting point is 00:42:33 Shout out to the Hogs, y'all show some love. You talked about D Hunt killing this year. Is he a trade piece or do you keep him around? Gotta keep him, he's sixth man of the year. Like I think we can trade Bogie. They young, too. Bogie can go. Gotta keep them. Bogie can go. Bogey can go.
Starting point is 00:42:46 Oh yeah, I asked that question because I've seen a lot of people say like, he's a person who could go to a contender or a playoff team, make a real big difference. Oh, he, shit, you averaged 20 points for us. He is the difference. He can make a difference for sure. He's the difference for us.
Starting point is 00:42:59 Like, he's six men of the year. I know they probably give you the Payton Pritchard just because of the Celtics record. But if you really go look, he's way. Give it to Bogey and Capella and probably some more people. Yeah, he's way more valuable. We'll leave that core alone though. Okay.
Starting point is 00:43:13 But I think D Hunt, Jalen Johnson, and Trey gotta stay. We can get somebody for Clint. Bogey can move on. Young Zachary, he's all right. He gonna be good. Yeah, he gonna find his way. Keep learning. I was gonna say, that's crazy.. He gonna be good. Yeah, he gonna find his way. He gonna keep learning. I was gonna say, that's crazy.
Starting point is 00:43:26 Weeks ago we was talking about free tray, now it's like damn. I mean, it's still. I mean. You know how it changed? It changed every couple weeks. You know how it was two weeks ago? They just looked unhappy at first,
Starting point is 00:43:37 but I think they found a rhythm and I think they got comfortable. I mean, last year was tougher tray, having De'Jontay with them. But now I think him having a role of being a primary guy, ball handler again, you got comfortable again. And a lot of you people who were saying, you know what I'm saying, Trey Trey, keep DeJontay. That take his age and terribly up.
Starting point is 00:43:57 Unless they were saying they were going to go with Wimby. Yeah. I mean, people just wanted to see that dynamic Wimby with a dynamic point guard. Not saying CP not CP is, but they just want a young guy that they can grow together with. I was looking more like the Aaron Fox man. Look, Mike Brown got fired, man. Crazy.
Starting point is 00:44:15 Sound extension last summer. I wonder what the details of that contract is, cause I'm sure he probably got a nice payday out the door. But hey, don't fire me after practice. Like before you get to the team playing, don't do that, bro. But who cares, I'm like, bro, I'm like, I'm gonna get with fuck.
Starting point is 00:44:28 Yeah, it's really no good time to let me go. Yeah, but don't fire, fire me before I go to work. Like don't have me use my gas to drive me to work and then tell me to smoke last day. I could've stayed at home, bro. People who work regular jobs don't think that's how it goes, too. We're gonna let you work your shift.
Starting point is 00:44:41 And that's crazy. Yeah. They might've let me go at Walmart. I got fired. We worked 10 hours. I got fired. They gave me that slip. I got, you know.
Starting point is 00:44:51 That's how I go. My best friend daddy had to fire me. Hey, you know what? Fuck HR. Is that me, y'all? What y'all say, HR? My best friend dad had to fire me in my job. Shout out to Mr. Hogan.
Starting point is 00:45:02 He said, just don't come back, Jeff. It made sense though, bro. I said, what do you mean? He was like, yeah, you guys are doing a lot up here. Yeah, it makes sense. You were stealing though. I was working. I'll work my shit, please.
Starting point is 00:45:14 I only get five percent of these. It was a scam ring going on. Rico! Yeah, Rico and Marvin. Yeah. He was Woody. That's all. I was a good employee.
Starting point is 00:45:28 I don't know if people still alive, passed away or jailed. So I ain't gonna call no names. But the leader of that was a female. Blame it on the queen. I ain't gonna lie. The crazy thing she did. Keep going. The crazy thing she did. We did it up at this weekend. That boy keep going, keep it going. The crazy thing she did, bruh.
Starting point is 00:45:46 She was gonna get back the basketball. Uh-uh. Nah, she ain't hoot. She could've though. Nevermind, I'll just tell you. She's a somebody who buy Kit Kats, right? So no offense, but people will come through, certain people will come through
Starting point is 00:46:03 and they wouldn't ask for their receipts when they buy stuff, right? So she would void the whole transaction. They would buy $300 worth of groceries, she would just void it because they wouldn't ask for their receipt. Then she'd be like, ask one of the, I was a car dude or a cashier,
Starting point is 00:46:19 if I come through here and buy something, I come through, buy a bunch of candy, like two Kit Kats, give her a 20. She would change me out to 300. Damn. And then I'm like, when the first time she did it, she's like, me in my car. I'm like, hell no.
Starting point is 00:46:36 She paid for that. Yeah. I'm like, why you give me that? She like, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. I got in the car, I'm out. Well, you should have went for that three. Nah, I took it. I was going, she didn't get the three.
Starting point is 00:46:52 I got the three. She was like, she didn't want to fake it out. She was like, that's my drawer. Your drawer is short on you. You gave me that change back. That's crazy, bro. You know what you was up with? Mr. Hoggar had to make the color, bro. She had to talk to me. She like, man, you gotta give me that change back. That's crazy bro. You know what you was up. Mr. Hoger had to make the call like, hey bro, she had to talk to me.
Starting point is 00:47:06 She like, man you gotta give me some of that. Wow bro. That's not how this work. You just told me to pull up and buy some. I think it was scamming and stealing. Thank God for growth. The Mar Rico's lyrics man. I got out of that though.
Starting point is 00:47:20 That was my once on. Man, the Kings, do you think the Kings needed to just go ahead and free the Air Fox men's? I mean, it probably best for them. I don't think they wanna, he already made it clear that he didn't like the way the organization was going because they always unstable.
Starting point is 00:47:36 They don't know if it's gonna be a winning culture or whatever. And then you fire your head coach. That's too obvious that y'all know where y'all wanna go, what direction y'all wanna go. And he already said he's not gonna sign back if he don't feel like he can win. So at this point, it's time to let him go. Let him go do something different. Because obviously y'all in rebuild mode or y'all trying to figure out which direction y'all want to go.
Starting point is 00:47:56 I think it's telling that every coach talked about that situation. It was just like, yeah, of course they fired Mike Brown because his organization is shit. And everybody was saying that. I'm like, there's something to be said about that. Even back when Vladi was running the show and they had the draft board online and stuff. They're a very serious organization. They liked the beam stuff was cool. He got them to the playoffs.
Starting point is 00:48:16 They hadn't been there in a long time. But they've regressed with the situation. And I don't know how they, like you said, if you bring it in New Virginia, you're gonna have to wipe everything out. And De'Aaron Fox don't deserve to go through that. Especially something about the players. And they already said you don't know how they like you say if you bring it in new, Virginia You gonna have to wipe everything out and dear Fox don't deserve to go through that Especially something about the players. I said you don't want to go through it So yeah, that should be a telling sign y'all might try to get something that's like something good back for him right now
Starting point is 00:48:33 I mean, but we got one more year on his deal before he could be unrestricted free agent, whatever But hey look that 12th right now, so you gonna probably get lot of pick, which we know we've seen them blunder before. I ain't gonna lie, they like, there's some good guards in the draft this year. You get a Dylan Harper, you can get, even if you got an Ace Bailey, you can always get a decent point guard in free agency. I mean, Tyus Jones would be a free agent.
Starting point is 00:48:58 Some of these guys who can play, you can find a guard. I mean, and you might be able to get one back in the trade, whoever they trade them to. You trade them to Miami, you can get Terry Roger back. For sure. You trade them to a team, you definitely, I like that a lot of stuff. With him reuniting with Ben, that would be fire.
Starting point is 00:49:15 That'd be super far, like you said. Or even if you trade them to San Antonio, you get Trey Jones back, and they got a plethora of guards over there. Most definitely. Young guys. Wesley, what's his name? Blake Wesley. You got a bunch of younghora of guards over there. Most definitely. Young guys. Wesley, his name Blake Wesley. You got a bunch of young guys over there
Starting point is 00:49:29 that's looking for opportunity and y'all gonna be in rebuild mode anyway. I'll tell you right now, we get Fox Castle and Wimby as the young court. That's fire for sure. D-Lo back in Brooklyn, man. You definitely caught the situation early on. I thought it would be for Dennis Schroeder,
Starting point is 00:49:44 but obviously it didn't go that way. But D-Lo, I promise you, he gonna average 20 points back in Brooklyn. He's free. He's out of that LeBron mode or whatever. He doesn't play well with LeBron, man. I mean, he had a decent year last year, shot the ball well,
Starting point is 00:49:59 but he's one of those guys that need the ball in his hand, be able to create, play free, and that's what he's gonna be able to do in Brooklyn. Yeah, D-Lo done had a solid NBA career. Yeah, hell yeah. No expectations to get out there and hoop out D-Lo. Over 10K points, he about to kill. Yeah, he gonna average 20.
Starting point is 00:50:15 I was dying man, Nick Young sweet last night, he was just like, stay out, don't come back to LA. I was cracking up. Nick Young. I respect that. He petty. It's up for life. Yeah, that's a different kind of big.
Starting point is 00:50:26 Shout out to D-Lo man. Welcome to Brooklyn man. Welcome back. Welcome back. And that's crazy. They said the next to go is Cam Johnson. Obviously, Dory Finney Smith was shipped to LA in that situation with Shaq Melton.
Starting point is 00:50:39 LA sent over a couple of second round picks as well. But they said Cam Johnson is the next to go. They are asking for somewhat like the Kings ransom for him right now. They want a couple of second round picks as well, but they say Cam Johnson is the next to go. They are asking for somewhat like the Kings ransom for him right now. They want a couple of picks and talent for him. I can imagine. I think he's a really quality player. I talk about him a lot on here,
Starting point is 00:50:53 but I just think he fits every team. Sort of like Dorian's, Finney Smith, he fits anybody team. And I think the Lakers did a good job of picking him up. Yeah, he can guard anybody. Yeah, he plays well with superstars. And LeBron, obviously an AD superstar, he's not a fifth-day role, play defense, hit corner threes.
Starting point is 00:51:12 So it's a great pickup for the Lakers. For sure, do you think that they're done making moves? Do you think they might, obviously, Ospreay's probably gonna be the de facto point guard. Do you think they're making another move after this? Or do you think they're just gonna stay put for a second? I don't think there's no more moves they can make. Okay.
Starting point is 00:51:26 I mean, unless y'all gonna go get D.A.R. Fox, but then that's a whole different story. You gotta give up Austin Reeves, a bunch of picks. I don't know even if they got picks. Yeah, they got a couple late. It's worth it. I was gonna say, if you can give up A.R. and picks to get D.A.R. Fox, then you won.
Starting point is 00:51:42 But people love A.R. Yeah, they'll love D.A.R. Fox too. He like the poor man, Luca Donkers. Yeah, they'll love the air fox too. He like the poor man, Luca Donkers. Yeah, he got a shoe too, which is crazy. Yeah, he the poor man Luca. Whacked, boy. You don't think he the poor man Luca? If you really watch him play,
Starting point is 00:51:56 the way they play is very similar. He just not as big and strong. And why I say poor man, because he don't score as easy. But the way he make people shift and move and how he uses his body and create space. And he a really good passer too. And he make tough shots. He like the poor man looping.
Starting point is 00:52:13 Yeah, most importantly, he plays well with LeBron. And if you're gonna be on the LeBron team, you have to play well with LeBron. Pretty much. That's the most important attribute. Pretty much. For sure man, a couple NFL scores run through this morning. The Bills beat the Sleez off the Jets 40 to 17.
Starting point is 00:52:26 Radish the Carousel is 25 to 10. Hold on, speaking of that, did y'all see Aaron Rodgers? Yeah. He is funny, bro. He's like, shit, y'all might as well play this young nigga shit. He set himself up, pulled himself out the gate. The Jets are an unserious organization, man.
Starting point is 00:52:40 Play Tyron. I did that before. Play Tyron. Oh, you get tired, Jones, a minute. I said, man, Aaron Rodgers is the GOAT. I did that before. Play Tyron. Get Ty's Johnson in it. I said man Aaron Rodgers is the goat. I'm like man we suck. We suck man. Shout out to Ryan Clark man.
Starting point is 00:52:52 I feel you nasty. Shout out to Ryan Clark man. We love you Ryan. Y'all know how we feel about the shit. Shout out to Ryan Clark man. Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers be on bullshit and I love it. He be on bullshit.
Starting point is 00:53:03 He really don't care though. He don't care bro. They can pull his son out the game bro. You know what's crazy? When he finally returns, and he goes to Pat McAfee show full time, his gonna get real wicked. He gonna say whatever he wants.
Starting point is 00:53:16 So he already be on that now man. Ah shit, that was hilarious. Raiders beat the Saints 25 to 10, Giants beat the Colts 45 to 33. We gonna talk about that at the end of this show. The Eagles beat the Slaves off the Cowboys 41 to seven. Saquon Barkley will break the record next week. Eric Dixon was just like, I hope he does not break it.
Starting point is 00:53:34 Sorry, sorry. He cracked 2,000 yards, right? Yeah, but he's gonna get that record, bro. Gets the Giants, all he needs is 101 yards, bro. He's gonna get that, because the Giants are the Giants for sure. The Bucks beat the Panthers 48 to 14, Belt to Ass, Jags beat the Titans 20 to 13,
Starting point is 00:53:49 Dolphins beat the Browns 20 to three, get well soon Jamis, Vikings beat the Packers 27 to 25, hell of a game. And the commander secured a Falcons yesterday 30 to 24. That was a crazy Sunday night game. Playoff clinch for them, right? Yeah man, that was a hell of a game yesterday. And listen man, Young Penex looked decent yesterday,
Starting point is 00:54:06 but you know what I'm saying, lost in the OT. So that's David Denlis, boy, he's a realist. Couple games tonight, let me know how y'all feel, which way, Bulls at Hornets. Hornets. Okay, real quick, what you got? I got the Bulls. Got the Bulls, turn up.
Starting point is 00:54:19 Knicks at Wizards. Knicks, yeah, I got Knicks. Okay, Clippers at Pelicans. Clippers. Nuggets Pelicans. Nuggets. Nuggets at Jazz. Nuggets. Oh, you're taking the Jazz. Okay. Enter the year off strong.
Starting point is 00:54:32 Warriors at Cavs. Cavs. Warriors. I'm gonna go Warriors. 76ers at Blazers. Sixers. We'll not be watching. Blazers.
Starting point is 00:54:43 Sixers. Oh, we're taking the Blazers. That's tough. I'm gonna see what the oddszers. We taking the Blazers, that's tough. I'm gonna see what the odds are. Might take that money line off GP. Mavs at Kings. Mavs, the Kings ain't trying to win games no way. Listen man, a lot of people get-
Starting point is 00:54:54 Nah, the Kings gonna win actually. Cause you know people play on the high when they coach you for art. Yeah. Niggas be high. They might play they guys. Bro ain't lying though, that's true. Yeah, I'm gonna go with the king.
Starting point is 00:55:05 That's so crazy. Who was it last year they was dancing after they caught after the dog got fired? Yeah, they was in the, yeah, that's crazy. Yeah. Listen, Verify Bucket is a lot of people's activists weekend and yesterday been here. Who was getting to it?
Starting point is 00:55:17 I'm taking my boy, Ian Jackson. He had 26 last night. I know that's not on our list. I know that's like a shit. His first career start for my alma mater. Oh, that was big for us last night. So Shati, we was talking about the O.T. athletes, he he proved us wrong yesterday.
Starting point is 00:55:36 Shati and Jackson made me get some some running last game that has been producing. He's one of the first O.T. guys that graduated last year to have a big game. So I'm happy for him. I did an interview with him before, so pretty dope. Shout out to EM, man. I think they played Campbell last night.
Starting point is 00:55:53 Yeah, he went crazy. I gotta holler at you about some of your New York point guard rankings too. Y'all got stuff fucked up, but that's for another show. I said about Marbury? Yeah, they out of pocket. Oh yeah, make sure you show us up to Starberry for sure. Tig, who you got?
Starting point is 00:56:06 Oh, I got my dog, Trey Young, man. Hawks, we are fifth in the East right now. Playing at a high level. Trey Young doing his thing, all star Trey. For sure, man. Listen, I got to reach back to Saturday, man. Jalen Brunson had 55 and nine, bro. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:20 For as much as we've talked about Cadme and Phenomenal this year, and he has, Jalen Brun's kind of taking the backseat, but he still had a moment, so he let y'all know that he is definitely elite for sure. 55, that is tough for sure. Monday morning, get well soon, man. Almost at the end of your year,
Starting point is 00:56:36 be here, who needs some encouragement to make it through? Tyler Hero. You gotta put the Meek Mill voice behind him. Get up, bro! Get up, bro. Get up. I know there's others on this list, but Tyler, you my favorite white boy, but you playing crazy after that is wild. The post game, bro, it was funny though, because he put them glasses on, they was like, boy,
Starting point is 00:56:59 with that fade in them glasses, he might set some shit off, man. Shit might get real spooky. I ain't gonna lie, y'all seen how I learned it. The vibes, the vibes was. You called him Michael Rafferty. Well, I was like, damn, he sounds like Mike a little bit. He put the glasses on, I was thinking about saying, I hate my mom.
Starting point is 00:57:19 That's crazy. I'll get well soon, just to Kenny Pickett. One of the worst passes I've ever seen in my life. I don't know what happens here. The ball didn't go anywhere, but his feet apparently did. That shit's crazy. Well, he got stuck. That boy off that goop punch, that's a nasty ass pass.
Starting point is 00:57:37 Yeah, someone got stuck. What is that crowd? Is that a fumble? That nigga controller died. The batteries went obsolete on that boy. I don't know what happened, that's nasty work though. Get well soon Kenny. I ain't in my get well soon for my boy Payton Watson. I like you too young fella.
Starting point is 00:57:54 I don't damn know. Payton Watson nice. But the other twin that wasn't fighting hit you with a move and punched on you. Ah, hey! That's the one right there. The crossover was tough though. It's the one right there. That's hard. The crossover was tough though.
Starting point is 00:58:06 It's one thing to cross me, but then you duck on me. That's terrible. That's the one, that's the one that got that crazy. Excuse me. Hey. His offensive game was crazy. But they're so athletic, bro, that's crazy. I hope they end up on the same team at some point.
Starting point is 00:58:22 That'd be fire. I want Lamelo and Lonzo to play on the same team. You want Lonzo to go to Charlotte? Hey, if they do, boy, they gotta bring another brother, bro. Make it a family affair, bro. I can see Lonzo going there next year in free agency. That'd be fire. They don't got no backup guard either.
Starting point is 00:58:38 They'll hoop out crazy together for sure. Listen, another give out soon. Kashaun George, man, listen, I know it was a rough weekend for a lot of people trying to defend the paint, but it got ugly Precious went crazy one time. Precious a chua. Oh yeah, he get wicked on the break. Hey.
Starting point is 00:58:55 Stir it down, crazy. Yeah, that was, that's a take for me. Aw, if I dunk on you, I get to, I didn't break on you. No, I'm saying, if you dunked on me. No, I'm saying, if you dunked on me, no, I'm saying if you dunked on me, this a push right here. It's fire.
Starting point is 00:59:11 Everything. What? Everything, back up. What the fuck? You try to take the ball out. Yeah, watch out, nigga. What the fuck did you do? I always have, if somebody get dunked on that one,
Starting point is 00:59:21 try to hit the ball fast, like, come on, nah, we gonna replay that highlight. Don't worry. Matter of fact, he probably would have dunked that cause I probably would have fouled him so hard. See, play her too. Oh yeah, I was known for those. Check the highlights. For sure man, another get well soon.
Starting point is 00:59:36 Indianapolis Colts, shout out to the trenches man. But y'all listened to the Giants yesterday and they weren't actively trying to win the game. Given their season, his must roll next week. I know it ain't gonna be this week, but there's gotta be some changes in the city, man. It's getting real spooky. Because man, that's inexplicable,
Starting point is 00:59:52 the little giants, the way that y'all lost to them. Was that the last game of the season? No, they got one more. But that was a game that if they won, it could have possibly kept playoff hopes alive. Oh, well. Yeah, they. Get the mics back out, guys.
