Starting point is 00:00:30 Hey, everybody, it's Chuck and Josh from the Stuff You Should Know podcast, and it's that time of year again when we knuckle down to do our annual holiday episodes. We collected our best past classic holiday episodes and compiled them into a 12 Days of Christmas Toys playlist that the whole family can enjoy. That's right. Maybe you missed it the first time we detailed the history of Beanie Babies, Monopoly, or Yo-Yo's, and a whole lot more. So listen to the 12 Days of Christmas Toys playlist on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey there, Dr. Jesse Mills here. I'm the director of the men's clinic at UCLA, and I want to tell you about my new podcast called The Mail Room. And I'm Jordan, the show's producer.
Starting point is 00:01:08 And like most guys, I haven't been to the doctor in way too long. I'll be asking the questions we probably should be asking, but aren't. We'll talk science without the jargon and get your real answers to the stuff you actually wonder about. So check out the Mailroom on the iHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your favorite shows.

Our latest episode features Tony Hawk, RICO Nasty, Yamanika Saunders, and Derek Beckles. Listen to bombing with Eric Andre on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcast,

Starting point is 00:02:34 Hello, it's your favorite sport thunk here. Don't forget to hit that subscribe button to join the fastest growing community on YouTube. Remember, nightcap doesn't happen without you. So please subscribe or you're going to make Ocho crack. Asante Samuel saw the clips of us debating him in prime and he responded to us, Ocho. That's your problem, Pimp. You're also brainwax. Watch that Shannon Sharp.
Starting point is 00:02:58 I'm not worried about what everyone perceives to be true. Like yourself, I stand on facts. You have yet to talk about the facts. You can easily be manipulated just like everyone has because of marketing. I bet you won't debate me, big facts. Shannon Sharp, safety has the short middle. Nobody's in the deep but me and the receiver. You don't know the truth, pimp.
Starting point is 00:03:19 You just talking out you with no facts. Let's talk or you're scared like everyone else. bro. Hey, I ain't, I didn't know your answers you like. Okay,
Starting point is 00:03:31 I like that. I like that. Hey, y'all, hey, listen, we can have a club shay-shay,
Starting point is 00:03:35 right? Listen to me. Now, stay with me. You have a club, shay-shay, DB edition. A good conversation.
Starting point is 00:03:46 PowerPoint presentation style. Film up there to support each of your opinions and facts that you might have. It ain't no opinion. He's not time.
Starting point is 00:03:54 What is we debated? Let me finish. Baby. Let me finish. Listen, I'm giving you the ultimate content right now, something that's never been done before, a format that's never been done before. Two players, actually three, because you were part of a two, three players. You got Prime and Sonny Samuels and you. You're one that loves a breakdown film.
Starting point is 00:04:13 He's also one that loves a breakdown film. Now, just picture this. You talk about you think Kat Williams did a whole bunch of numbers? What do you think you and San, send down, you know, going over, okay, you want to prove it? Prove it. Die in the sky, don't lie. I'm just throwing the ID out there because the format has never been none before. I've given, I've given Coach Time and myself have given a Tanté Samuel more tension since he's been retired than he's ever gotten.
Starting point is 00:04:43 After tonight, I'm done with this. There's nothing to debate. My bad. There's no one going to say he's in the realm of time. He's in the realm of Dereil Revis. He's in the realm of Roder. Woodson or a Charles Woodson or a Darrell Green or
Starting point is 00:05:00 a male blunt he's not I don't give a damn what he says about the film he played he played more he played more look bro you had an unbelievable career congratulations you're just not time
Starting point is 00:05:15 you're not time you're not Revis hold on did he make an all-decade team because time made all decade and he's one of 100 greatest players of all time. Let's see his resume.
Starting point is 00:05:30 Let's see his body at work. I complimented him. I said, time, don't believe in wasted motion. The T-step worked well for Asante. I gave him a compliment. Let's see his resume. So, you know, We didn't make all decade.
Starting point is 00:06:00 Four-time pro-bowler. One-time all-pro. How many pro-boes did time make? How many all-team? Yeah. Same number of Super Bowl. But one guy was a defensive player of the year. One guy as a defensive back swung the balance of power.
Starting point is 00:06:22 How many DBs can say swung the balance of power? He goes to one team To keep the other team from going He goes to the other team And keep that team from going Bro, you had an unbelievable career You went to a pro bowl You're an all pro
Starting point is 00:06:40 You're not time And there's no And that's not a knock It's okay It's okay But I don't know why you're getting mad at me I tell you what find, go find the GM, go find the coach, go find the player that says Asante Samuel is the
Starting point is 00:07:03 equivalent or better than time. That's all you got to do. Hell, your son won't say you better than time. And he'll be a junior. Let's be real, man. You're coming. I'm the wrong one you. What's you doing? Where are you going? I got that. I don't know what you're talking about, bro. I don't know what you're talking about. I complimented you.
Starting point is 00:07:36 I said you had an outstanding career. I say the T-Step served you well. I just said you weren't time. That's okay. If somebody says, you know what, Shannon, you had an unbelievable career. Shannon, you went to eight pro boys. You're a first team all-pro. You're an all-decade player.
Starting point is 00:07:51 You're in the Hall of Fame. But you ain't grump. Okay. you ain't Travis Kelsey okay but you ain't gonna go no other tight end let me talk about
Starting point is 00:08:02 you ain't that if you want to say Gromp if you want to say Kelsey Shannon you not bad I ain't fin to fight you but you ain't going to go no more
Starting point is 00:08:11 you ain't going to go no more because when I left every record that a tight end could have I had it catch it yards touchdown most yards
Starting point is 00:08:21 in the game hey so hold on Now that you mention that, when it comes, when we factor in the numbers and statistics, does that play any factor in Assange's case or it doesn't matter? Just, just curious. He had more past breakups and fewer interceptions. How many pick 60 did he have? All I know is when I left the game, I had every record that a tight end could possibly have.
Starting point is 00:08:50 Ain't nobody had them but me. Now, they don't came along and broke him, Gonzo broke him, and Gates did that. this and gronk and this and that. But I don't know, I don't know why he mad at me. I gave him a compliment. Yeah. I said he had an outstanding career.
Starting point is 00:09:06 I said the T-step for him served him well. I like, I like the combo. I like the dialogue. I would love, I would love, especially for not the casual fan, but for people that are fans of the game, I wish we could dive a little bit more.
Starting point is 00:09:24 I'm obviously not here I'm just asking you, find a general manager, find the head coach, find the receiver, because he's talking about, he's talking like he was that. He might, I guarantee you, will you find somebody that say he'll top ten, a top ten cornerback? If we go back and study history, top ten corner, so we got time, we got Revis, we got Mel Blunt, we got Rod Wilson, we got Daryl Green, we got a Niels Williams, we got Mel blunt.
Starting point is 00:09:52 Okay, that's seven right there. where are we going to put him in the list of all time and the history of the NFL is he crack in the top 10. It's 5.23 p.m. One of your kids is asking for a snack. Another is building a fort out of your clean laundry

I'll be asking the questions we probably should be asking, but aren't. Because guys usually don't go to the doctor unless a piece of their face is hanging off or they've broken a bone. Hey, everybody, it's Chuck and Josh from the Stuff You Should Know podcast, and it's that time of year again when we knuckle down to do our annual holiday episodes. We collected our best past classic holiday episodes and compiled them into a 12 days of cruise. Christmas Toys playlist that the whole family can enjoy. That's right. Maybe you missed it the first time we detailed the history of Beanie Babies, Monopoly, or Yo-Yo's and a whole lot more. So listen to the 12 Days of Christmas Toys playlist on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, it's me, Eric Andre, bombing with Eric Andre and Will Ferrell's Big Money Players and I-Heart Radio.
Starting point is 00:13:12 We are back with fresh chaos. Our latest episode features Tony Hawk, RICO, Nasty. Yamanika Saunders and Derek Beckles. Here's a fraction of what happened. This is your worst injury in your career, correct? It's the most traumatic in terms of danger factor and life-threatening, yes. What were the injuries? Fractured skull, broken thumb, fractured pelvis.
Starting point is 00:13:37 Look at your phone. Yeah, it changed my signature. I can tell if I signed stuff before or after that. You got help insurance? I do. I'm not explicitly putting down what I'm doing on insurance forms. Listen to bomb. with Eric Andre on the IHeart Radio app,
Starting point is 00:13:51 Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Aming with Eric Andre. With Eric Andre. Where would you put him? No, I'm asking you. seven guys, which one of those seven guys you are you putting him in front of? You heard me?
Starting point is 00:14:30 Y'all listening. I'm asking you. Oh, I forgot about Champ Bailey. You put him in front of champ? You ain't answered a question. Are you putting him in front of champ? You heard me? I'm listening, yeah. Where would you put him? What would you raise? No, I ask you. I'm asking me the questions.
Starting point is 00:14:53 Yes. No, I'm asking you. Where do you rank him based on what you're called? I just asked this man a simple question. I gave him seven, eight names. He's talking about where would I rank it? I'll ask you. Yeah, because listen.
Starting point is 00:15:07 I get it. You're going to probably bump into him. Hold on, hold on. Hey, hold on. It don't matter who I bump into. Okay, well, you got it in front of the guys that I mentioned. But he addressed you. Why are you asking me the question?
Starting point is 00:15:19 So I'm asking you, what are you right for? I already doesn't say it. Are you putting, he's not in front of time. He's not in front of Revis. He's not in front of Ward Woodson. He's not in front of Charles Wilson. He's not in front of Mel Blunt. He's not in front of Aneas Williams.
Starting point is 00:15:33 He's not in front of a champ Bailey. That's seven. Okay. That's seven guys. Okay. Now, you, who is he in front of? Is he top 10 all time in the history? Dick Knight Train Lane, Amil Tunnel.
Starting point is 00:15:48 Is he in? Hey, hey, um, um, I'm just asking. He got all these facts. Who is he in front of? I'll tell you what. Who is he in front of of the list that I just named? You name, you name all, you, you name all time, like all time. He's talking like he's all-time great.
Starting point is 00:16:22 That's the problem. Nobody got a problem with him saying he's not good. We're talking about, he's talking about, you're talking about all-time great. The guy that I list, he's at the front of the line. Time it. Mel Blunt, defensive player of the year. Charles Wilson, defensive player of the year.
Starting point is 00:16:38 Rod Wilson, defensive player of the year. There have been a lot of guys. But number two, one, is at the front of the line. Yeah. He's talking like he in that group. There are groups Look, we go into a room And the Hall of Fame
Starting point is 00:16:53 Okay, we go into a room We all into a room But there are certain guys At certain tables We're in the room But we're not at that table He's not even in the room He's on the outside
Starting point is 00:17:07 Hey, y'all know I played right? Yeah, but this is for big dog Keep it a stack So I want chat Y'all tell me Are the guys that I list Who he better than I ain't mention Pat P
Starting point is 00:17:24 I ain't mentioned Pat P I ain't Richard Mitchell Sherman yet I just gave y'all A couple of names I want you to tell me Who he better than Than the list I listed Who y'all put them in front of
Starting point is 00:17:35 Chat Y'all put them in front of Dion Y'all put them in front of Rivas Y'all put them in front of Charles Wilson Rod Woodson Y'all put him in front of Mel Blunt Who are y'all putting
Starting point is 00:17:47 Champ Bailey Who are y'all putting him in front of Asante Samuel Who Who? Hold on I'm trying to see I'm trying to see
Starting point is 00:18:02 What the chat talking about No I want you to see What the chat talking about You played against it What you're talking about You played against Charles Woodson You played against Pat P You played against Sherm.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Who are you putting it in front of? I ain't play against Sherm. But, you know, I did my thing everywhere I went. You hit me? It was like Halloween. If I knock on the door, I'm coming to get some candy. I'm asking you a simple question of the guys that were mentioned, who is he in front of?
Starting point is 00:18:37 I wouldn't say in front of, because you mentioned, you know, the greats, but he has the numbers to be in the room. I know that much. And you base everything off numbers. When you talk about, let me finish. Before you say anything, when you talk about MJ in comparison to Michael Jordan, when it comes to the base in any other sport, we always bring up the numbers. But all of a sudden, the numbers are ignored when it comes to now talking about the two people in comparison.
Starting point is 00:19:04 He got four pro bows. Now listen, listen. The dude got four pro bows. Listen to me. I'm not finished. Okay. But again, now we understand, but when we do a comparison based on greatness, you know, I'll tell you what, guess what, you had a former coach. Your former coach had three Pro Bowls and 62 picks. You taking Dick LeBoe? Oh, hey, what did you like numbers?
Starting point is 00:19:29 Hey, what did you like numbers? Hey, what do you know about what you know about Dave? You just told me numbers. Yeah, I mean, listen, that's what everything is based off of, right? No. Okay, numbers. Okay, let's go all pros. Let's go pro bows. Let's go all decade. Let's go defensive play of the year. Right, right. That's part of numbers also. Just not picks. Okay, okay. Okay. I got you. I look at it like this. If you get six picks and you give up eight touchdowns, what have you done? Okay. I see what you're doing. I got, I like that. I thought the job of a
Starting point is 00:20:08 corner is to take away more than you give up. That's a great combo. I'm just waiting on this man to tell me who is he better than than the list I renamed. Now, we're going to have, guess what? Let's have the conversation. Hopefully, Lord Spare of both of our lives, we're able to have a conversation another 10 to 15 years. We will.
Starting point is 00:20:32 I'm going to need to see a gold jacket on his back because all the guys that I've mentioned, Now, hey, Jalen Ramsey's going to be coming up. Richard Sherman's going to be coming up. Pat P.'s going to be coming up. You see, what he's trying to do, oh, it's all about marketing. Bro, you played on the Patriots. Ty Law played on the Patriots. Ty Law got a red jacket and a gold jacket.
Starting point is 00:20:52 So don't do that bull job about marketing. If you, who was on TV more than the Patriots, Ocho? Oh, during that 20-year-old? During that time, who? Yeah. Oh, so now it's marketing. Time ain't no marketing, bro. Yeah, he marked himself to know how to parlay that. But that man on the field,
Starting point is 00:21:12 you better go check them tapes. Either you can or you can. That's a great conversation, boy. That's a good one now. Oh, Willie Brown, Mike Haynes. Mike Haynes got nine like nine pro bows. You better go check. That's a great combo. Well, let me grab me a water. Sante, go ahead, bro. Sante, you had a great career, bro. You're a good player. You just said, all I said, you weren't time. And you had to get personal.
Starting point is 00:21:50 I don't know, I don't know why. I mean, if you wanted to come on nightcap to get your name out there, you could have did that. Hey, hey, hey, listen, that is a great combo, boy. You hear me? It's a great combo. What's a great combo? This one?
Starting point is 00:22:07 I like this. I just obviously it's not me as the individual, but I'm just saying that's what I'm It's prime. Is he better than Stefan Gilmore? I mean, some point in chat, don't y'all want Ocho to chime me in instead of just talking about this is a great combo? Hold on. I'm listening to you.
Starting point is 00:22:26 You tell you, tell you. This is Nycap, Unc and Ocho. Hold on. We don't listen to each other. We go back and forth. I'm in chiming in all. I've been chiming in all the time. I'm listening to you.
Starting point is 00:22:37 Now, listen, I. You see what he said, Chad? He listened to the beat. He addressed Shannon Sharp. He sent a long message to Shannon Sharp. So I'm just listening to what you're saying. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:22:46 Where did he address Shannon Sharp? What was Shannon Sharp speaking on? On what? On him? Oh, night cap. Nightcap. Unc and Ocho. Right.
Starting point is 00:22:55 So is your job to answer back? I get it. Chat, y'all see. Ocho don't want to chime in. He for Florida. Ocho might bump into it. y'all know me i don't give a damn i mean what is bumping and what i see here's the problem here's the thing with shannon sharp whatever shannon sharp say on nightcap shana sharp where if he
Starting point is 00:23:14 bumped into said player shanna sharp is mad enough to stand on that bro you not time you not charles you not rhod watson you not derail revers you not male blunt you not mike haynes you not darrell green you not facts now of the ten guys that I named find a coach find a receiver that say Assante Samuel is better than any of those guys See
Starting point is 00:23:47 The way You make it sound Oh See you're being mean How am I being Ocho Ocho Are you being
Starting point is 00:23:58 Hey you hear how you make it sound You make it sound like like buddy was trash or something I didn't say he was trash I'm just saying the way you're talking like you're acting like we just sitting here talk about some just some old bum I'm just curious
Starting point is 00:24:16 Ocho Who can I say? Yeah I mean listen I play the game Listen I played the game right over Wait stay with me stay with me Stay with me real quick I play the game on the other side of the ball So I know
Starting point is 00:24:30 I played against prime I played against Zunt I have an understanding of both and how good they were at what they, oh, hold on, great as prime was, and how good Zant was. So it's hard for me to sit here and say, you know, the way you're doing it, when I saw it with my own eyes. I understand how great prime is, but then I know what that young bull was doing as well when he was playing. All I said, I said, he was good. I said he was a very good player, had an unbelievable career. He used the technique, he used the technique that time doesn't approve of.
Starting point is 00:25:16 Two things can be true. Yes, sir. Okay, some guys like to play press and open the gate. Some guys like to press and put hands. Whatever technique works for you. But he was talking as if he was the equipment. because he posted his stats and time stats, saying, look at our stats.
Starting point is 00:25:39 Right. So he's posting those stats as if he's the equivalent. And I said he's not. I didn't say he wasn't a good player. I said he went to Pro Bowls. I think he was an all-pro. I know he won Super Bowls in New England. That's what I said.
Starting point is 00:25:54 Right. He took offense that I didn't co-sign him. I don't need no marketing. I don't need to co-sign it. I think everybody's known. I didn't have an opportunity to critique time when he played when he went back for those two years because he was mainly a safety and he didn't start the game.
Starting point is 00:26:15 Okay, that's fine. But I've never had a problem critiquing any player. I critique Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, you name a player, Ray Lewis, receivers, or T.O. Randy. I've never had a problem to. because I'm basing it on my not intimate knowledge of the game and film study. When I
Starting point is 00:26:39 was at CBS, I would watch film. How many times when I was at CBS or Fox when you ever heard a guy called to tell about Sheld and Sharp, don't know what the hell he's talking about? No, that ain't what happened. See what y'all trying to do. Well, you're doing this. That's not what I said. Nope, no. I've never said.
Starting point is 00:26:58 I've never seen. The difference is Skip tried to say I said I was better than Tom. Brady. I said Tom Brady wasn't playing well. Why would I, as a tight end, compare myself to a quarterback? Okay, right, right, right. I would need to compare myself to Grom
Starting point is 00:27:13 to Kelsey or a tight end. That's the only way you can get an equivalent. I said, I said, yeah, Asante had a great career. Pro Bow, Super Bowls.
Starting point is 00:27:31 Now, God, like I said, you want to say, Sheldon, you ain't traff, you ain't grom. You're right. You got me. Right. You got me. But I'm just confused. Hey. But look, bro, I gave how many?
Starting point is 00:27:57 I gave you 15 minutes of fame. Fame that you never would have got had you not. mention me or time. Enjoy it. Now, go back to your solitary life. Nobody's going to win with the last, I tell you what, Ocho, when was the last time, prior to last night, when was the last time you heard somebody mention it, Sante Samuel. Take your time. I'm going to get me, I'm going to go get me some water. Take your time. Hey, chat, y'all keep Ocho interested. Hey, anyway, chat. We back, unk, it's a little upset. He's a love set.
Starting point is 00:28:37 Other than that, it's a great conversation. I like it. I like the dialogue. I like the back and forth. I like players also what we always talk about, having a belief, having not only belief in what you can do and what you've already done and bringing it to the forefront, bringing it to the forefront and supporting what it is you've done in comparison to someone else who is also great.
Starting point is 00:28:59 And that's okay. Now, a lot of people won't see it that way, as you can see, include none. One thing I've always do, see, is if you were bad at what you do, then I will always come out and say that. But I played against both, and I understand how good both were. I understand how great crime was, obviously catching him on the tail end of his career, and obviously playing against Asante doing his prime and understanding how good he was, how much of a student of the game he was and what I'm not going to do is diminish what I was able to see for years
Starting point is 00:29:33 while I was playing and understanding watching film him here and understanding how good he was and how savvy was technically, you know, so it's different coming from someone that actually played on the opposite side and understand how good he was. You know, so it's hard to say it's to say, oh, he's not, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, I had to go against this. I had to go against that for years. So it's different. It's different. It's different. It's different. different, you know, especially, and a lot of people in the chat, obviously some of the comments on Twitter, on X, whatever it may be, their feelings are always different as well, because it's based off who you know and what they've done.
Starting point is 00:30:12 Hey, that was good. I just ask you a simple question. Which one? Proud of last night. And today, when was the last time you heard somebody mention of Sanchez Samuel? I'm supposed to know. I'm on nightcap. every time a tight end break a record
Starting point is 00:30:29 who record they sit up there the most 150 yard games the most lost this the most that every Sunday in the NFL season when the tight end does something who name is up there when they have them names he just passed this one
Starting point is 00:30:41 who name is also up there Ocho Ocho Ocho about Ocho. And, hey, Chad, all I try to do, I try to, you know, try to go back and forth, but Ocho, you know, Ocho was like, hey. We did, we did go back and forth. That was a good one, though. No, you're laughing. I'm saying, I'm for real. That was a good one.
Starting point is 00:31:13 I don't, that was a good. That was a good. Being a parent is basically a juggling act. Starting point is 00:32:44 Please enjoy responsibly. Hey there, Dr. Jesse Mills here. I'm the director of the men's clinic at UCLA Health. And I want to tell you about my new podcast called The Mailroom. And I'm Jordan, the show's producer. And like a lot of guys, I haven't been to the doctor in many years. I'll be asking the questions we probably should be asking, but aren't. Because guys usually don't go to the doctor unless a piece of their face is hanging off or they've broken a bone.
Starting point is 00:33:07 Depends which bone. Well, that's true. Every week, we're breaking down the unique world of men's health, from testosterone and fitness to diets and fertility and things that happen in the bedroom. You mean sleep? Yeah, something like that, Jordan. We'll talk science without the jargon and get you real answers to the stuff you actually wonder about. It's going to be fun, whether you're 27, 97, or somewhere in between. Men's Health is about more than six packs and supplements.
Starting point is 00:33:34 It's about energy, confidence, and connection. We don't just want you to live longer. We want you to live better. Maybe you missed it the first time we detailed the history of Beanie Babies, Monopoly, or Yo-Yo's, and a whole lot more. So listen to the 12 Days of Christmas Toys playlist
Starting point is 00:34:13 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, it's me, Ergondra, bombing with Ericondra and Will Ferrell's big mom Money Players and the I Heart Radio. We are back with fresh chaos. Our latest episode features Tony Hawk, RICO Nasty, Yamanika Saunders, and Derek Beckles. Here's a fraction of what happened.
Starting point is 00:34:36 This is your worst injury in your career, correct? It's the most traumatic in terms of danger factor and life-threatening, yes. What were the injuries? Fractured skull, broken thumb, fractured pelvis. Look at your phone. Yeah, it changed my signature. I can tell if I signed stuff before or after that. You got help insurance?
Starting point is 00:34:54 I do. I'm not explicitly putting down what I'm doing on insurance forms. Listen to bombing with Eric Andre on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Bombing, bombing with Eric Contra. It's a good one. Ocho, while we're away, there's some people that have some words for you. For me? Chris Carter has some words for Ocho.
Starting point is 00:35:20 your last week. He said there were points. Oh, yep. He said there were points in Chad's career that you had to go out there and tell him what to do because he couldn't get open to save his life. He couldn't get open against average guys. Chad Johnson scored double-digit touchdowns one time in his 11 years. I think I scored double-digit touchdowns six times.
Starting point is 00:35:40 Scoring the football is the number one play as a receiver. No, I was not a burner. I ran four-six, four-six-five, but you can do it every single day. can do it for four quarters and the consistent at it. Ocho? You know what that get? Child, please.
Starting point is 00:36:01 I don't know. I'm just trying to figure out what. I have a question. Before you even go, what the hell is that matter? What does it matter? Okay, you scored double-d-tun touchdowns. Okay, cool.
Starting point is 00:36:16 You want a cookie? Right. Okay. Hey, Julio Jones. Have you had a conversation with, have you, have you, have you, have you, have you, have, you know, I don't need to. I have a question. So, right? I heard also, he said, well, he only had double-d-d-touchdowns one season.
Starting point is 00:36:36 So he's not a Hall of Famer. But does that mean Julio Jones is not a Hall of Fame either? Because Julio Jones only had double-digit touchdowns one season. You have, you have dumb, you had dumb, that sounds? Yeah. Well, sometimes I listen to things and, and, and everyone's situation is different. You know, everyone's situation different. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:53 I mean, so stuff like that, I paid no mind because everything is predicated off numbers and based on what they did, based on other people's situations, were different, you know? Obviously, where I was, I did the best I could with the cards I was dealt. And I did one hell of a goddamn job. I don't care not about what you did. I don't care not about your numbers. It don't make me none. Why is my name even being brought up?
Starting point is 00:37:17 That's what I was trying to figure out. know why it was brought up. I don't. Because like I said, Ocho, me, I don't really listen to anybody else's podcast. I got enough thing to try to, you know, to try to make our podcast better than what it is. And I got club Shay-Shay, so I'm trying to get gas and I'm going with the book. It's like, okay, who do you think we should get, blah, blah, blah. So I don't really have time to pay attention. But it just kept popping up, not only on, on, on, on, kept popping up on Twitter and then I saw it on the internet. I'm like, okay, what brought this about?
Starting point is 00:37:52 I said, did Ocho say something about him or what transpired? For one, you know, I don't talk about people. Yeah, we definitely don't talk about people that do what we do. Never. And, you know, I don't talk about nobody, you know. But, you know, congratulations with everything he said. I happy for you, Chris Carter, your double-digit touchdowns and your Hall of Fame and all that other good stuff. I love you.
Starting point is 00:38:14 I wish you continued success and whatever there is you got going on, baby. I know what we're doing over here, though. I know I know I know I know I know I know I know I know I'm going. I'm going that way. Maybe he wanted you to respond. I did respond. I just said I love him.
Starting point is 00:38:32 No, but I'm saying I thought, I mean, I think maybe he wanted you to respond in a different way and then it goes back and forth. I ain't got time for. Look, oh, Trudeau got to grow. Let me tell you. First of all, you got kids. I got kids. I got grandkids.
Starting point is 00:38:47 I'm not going to go, look, what we did, we did. He can't go back and score no more touchdowns. You can't go back and score no more touchdowns. Whoa, whoa, whoa, who can't? Who can't? We're right here. Hey, hold on, I'm still scoring touchdowns right now. Oh, man, yes.
Starting point is 00:39:04 You're doing that. You're doing a great job, oh, man. I'm still scoring touchdowns in life. He's talking about when we played. I don't care about that. I'm scoring double-digit touchdowns right now. Yeah, for sure. Come on, man.
Starting point is 00:39:15 You're not seeing, you're not, you're not hearing where I'm coming from. I hear what you said. I know. I know. But that's my thing is that sometimes we get called up and talk about what we used to do. We all were great.
Starting point is 00:39:28 Talk to me. What you doing that? We were all great at once upon a time in our own right. Okay. You know, you did what you did. I think C.C. played 16 seasons. Wait, how many, how many he played? 16.
Starting point is 00:39:45 How many I play you? I don't know. Hell, you played. I think you played 11 to 12, did you? Eleven. How many, hey, I played 11. He played 16. How many y'all's you got?
Starting point is 00:39:58 Man, look here. I'm just asking. I'm just trying to get a better understand. How many yards you got? I don't, uh, ask, ask, how many yards does a CC have? But, okay, the chat says Cici snap because he was pissed at Ocho for saying that he could beat Travis in a one-on matchup 10 out of 10 times.
Starting point is 00:40:23 Why is he worried about-brough? Bro, we'd just be joking when we say stuff. Man, it ain't that serious. Oh, he knew that. Because I do the same thing with everybody. You do. And so I said, Ocho, can you not challenge everybody that come on here? Who?
Starting point is 00:40:37 You? Everybody that come on here can get that work. You hit me? And Travis Huff. C.C. He had a tick below 14,000 yards. He had 13,899 yards. So he played 15 season.
Starting point is 00:40:49 16, I think. 16. And he got, what, 13,000 yards? Almost 14,000. Okay. So he plays 15, 16. He only got 3,000 more yards than me and played five more season. I had 11.
Starting point is 00:41:04 I guess, yeah. Okay, okay. I'm just trying to get a better understanding on why. Okay, cool. Anyway, but like I was saying, anybody that come on this show, huh? I had the utmost confidence in my ability and being able to do any and everything. That's something that a lot of people in this world lack. Even if you feel you can't do it, you have to fear you can because everything starts up here in the mind.
Starting point is 00:41:26 So everybody that comes on here in regards to what sport they play or whatever it is that they do, I feel I can beat them. And if you feel you can beat me doing at what you do best, whatever it may be, you're going to have to show me. You're going to have to show me. Matter of fact, Chris Carter, I'll lock Chris Carter ass up right now. Talk about what he did. You should. He's 60.
Starting point is 00:41:49 Huh? He's 60. What'd that mean? He's talking like he still got it. Get out here, get on the field, line it up, put your cleats on. I lock your ass up too. We got a pulse. That's what we got.
Starting point is 00:42:02 So we breathe it, we walk it, we get up out of bed, we had our right mind, blood running warm up our veins. Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, see, this is the thing about it. One thing about the wide receiver camp, the workshop that I just had, is I'm not just talking. I'm not just saying what it should look like. Uncle, I'm not there with my cleaks and my shoes on, what? At there running full speed, I still got it. You hit me? So it's one thing, once you go back in that structuring environment, you know, with the X's nose that you have a receiver coach, they actually never played, never really played the game. They just know the game
Starting point is 00:42:33 based on paper and what it should look like. Yeah. Like, I'm not there running them routes with you. I'm not only just I'm not telling you what it should look like I can actually display it and show you boy this is this is Picasso
Starting point is 00:42:46 yeah I'll say this love I've known CC a long time his brother and I used to hang when we went to the Super Bowls
Starting point is 00:42:55 and stuff I would just say this CC know when the man joking it wasn't that serious now no now CC I love you baby
Starting point is 00:43:02 but put them cleats on put them cleats on I'm gonna show you double digit touchdown I put these two hands in your chest, boy. You won't catch shit. Ocho, one of the stories that we're about to talk about knives really upsetting to me.
Starting point is 00:43:19 X. NFL quarterback Trayvon Boykin said Thanksgiving at Russell Wilson's mansion felt weird because none of his family was around. Let's take a listen to what Boykin had to say, Ocho. Yes, sir. Russell Wilson, I went to his house for Thanksgiving. The word is, like, he catered. So, no, you know, like,
Starting point is 00:43:39 bro, I come from a traditional country I have black family. We're doing that. If I got as much money as Russell Wilson, my whole family would talk about me so bad if I ain't fly everybody out there for Thanksgiving. And I'm sponsored by
Starting point is 00:43:50 an airline. Maybe he's not close to his family. Maybe he not. But his mama wasn't there. Sousers wouldn't there? You know what I'm saying? Like, even, even though, like, it still worth me.
Starting point is 00:44:04 I'm just still, even if you don't fool with your family, like it still works me on Thanksgiving. My family going to do the food. This is what we're going to give. If you're the one with the money, we're coming to your house. You know what I'm saying? That's what we're going to do.
Starting point is 00:44:15 So to get over there and catch Russell Wilson and like him is literally him, Sierra, Sierra Daddy, me, Nooney, baby future, the chef in two nannies. And three dogs. and baby future at that time was bad as hell
Starting point is 00:44:39 Hey y'all I got a question I hope I got an answer for you too Why is he sharing the information anyway Cause See that's what Not chat Now you see why I don't have a whole lot of mofos at my house
Starting point is 00:44:55 See he worried about somebody else family Your black ass there He invited you He looked at you like family And what you do? Got down real the mouth. You think you said it telling something. Man, I went to Russell house.
Starting point is 00:45:11 That mansion, it was weird. Yeah, because he had an outsider in there. That was the weird part about it. That's why you don't let people come to your house, chat. Nobody. First of all, no. Me and my brother had money. Guess what Thanksgiving were always at.
Starting point is 00:45:27 Granny's house. Even though we couldn't get back, it was always going to be there. When we had a big-ass cookout on Joe, guess where the Guess where it was? In Granite's backyard. Damn. I don't get it.
Starting point is 00:45:44 I'm confused. Why is everybody always looking for a moment? Why is everybody always looking for a moment to go viral or to get your love 15 minutes? He lets you into his home on Thanksgiving, a special day. Okay, if the family wasn't there, maybe they don't get along. Maybe they don't see the eye to eye. I mean, just, I don't, I don't get it. I don't get it either, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:46:06 I don't understand. His family wasn't there, but you was there. But you take this opportunity now years later. To talk about it. Because Russ ain't been in Seattle for a long period of time. Right. And now you bring this up. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:46:20 Because you try to, oh, guess who was there? Sierra Daddy, uh, Noonie, uh, uh, uh, baby future, the chef. For the most part, I have a get together I'm catering it yeah
Starting point is 00:46:38 I just don't get bro I don't get that why you put this man this man invited you into his home you tell it what's happening inside this man home that's what see and people are man you anti-social
Starting point is 00:46:52 no I'm anti-people running their damn mile ain't nobody that man invited you into his home Oh, so I guarantee Russ don't invite a whole lot of people into his home
Starting point is 00:47:07 But the most part Bruce would standoffish He's not He invited you invited your ass into his home And the things that he get No good deed
Starting point is 00:47:16 Goals unpunished This is the things he get All that's All lame Russ That's now I see right Russ don't F with a whole lot of people I'm sorry Russ
Starting point is 00:47:26 That you had to find out The whole hard way That some ninjas ain't ish Oh, that's messed up. And he thinks he said something, he got his hat caught to the side. He's where he's just like, oh, these nuclear codes.
Starting point is 00:47:41 Let me tell you what's going on the aid. Let me tell you about the agreement that the Ukraine is about to sign with the Russia. He had like he giving some information like that. Yeah. Talking that. Bad. That's messed up. Damn.
Starting point is 00:47:53 Damn. I don't worry about what somebody in somebody relationship is with their family. That he got nothing to do with me. At all. I don't know what his family done to him. I don't know what he's done to them. I don't know. But for whatever reason, they weren't there.
Starting point is 00:48:13 It doesn't bother me. Because guess where I'm at? I'm here. Right. I'm going to eat. I don't work. If I go somewhere, Ocho, I'll be God honest truth. I don't worry about who's not there.
Starting point is 00:48:27 I concern myself with who's here. Okay. May I invite me in? Okay. I've been invited to places. Ain't nobody know. Right. I ain't take no pictures.
Starting point is 00:48:44 I ain't tell nobody. If they didn't wanted people to know, they'd have told who they wanted to know. they'd have been there. It was mentioned. They ain't mentioned nothing about me because I slept in and slept out the back door.
Starting point is 00:49:02 But there's some bulljohn, chat. I don't care. Y'all can't convince me that this is, oh, he should, oh, you know, that man just telling, no, this man has got no business telling what that man got going on his house. I don't care if he had four dogs
Starting point is 00:49:16 sitting at the table. That's his table, and he invited your ass in. And you, yeah, we should know that, honestly. We should know anything about that at all. That's personal information. It's personal.
Starting point is 00:49:31 And then, also, and to make it, guess what he did? What? And at that time, baby future was back. Oh, ooh-hoo-hoo.
Starting point is 00:49:39 Now you talk about the baby, too? They're kids. For the most part, you get kids, they're going to be a certain, you know, they don't want to sit down, okay,
Starting point is 00:49:50 eat your food. Okay, that's a part of having it. a kid. Right. Maybe he doesn't have kids. He doesn't understand. They're all bad. They're all bad. Ocho, Ocho, I promise you, for the most part, the more money you have, the more likely when you have an event is going to be catered.
Starting point is 00:50:10 Right. That's just the way it is. Yes. Now, some people, hey, some people, their mom and their grandma say, baby, I want to cook. Mm-hmm. Okay. Granted, you ain't got to. No, baby, I want to do it.
Starting point is 00:50:25 Right. I know if I had something big for my family, oh, it's getting catered. I ain't cooking nothing. As a matter of fact, the only time the oven and the store going to be turned on is to reheat some ish. Honestly, you know, the women normally do all the cooking, huh? But I'm just saying, Ocho. Oh, in general. Look, and he told, oh, it was a mansion.
Starting point is 00:50:50 It wasn't nobody there. It should have been one minus one. Your ass shouldn't have been there. Yeah. Cere, ain't nobody ask you that. Oh, that's crazy. I don't know why. Why?
Starting point is 00:51:09 That's messed up. I just don't get it. Why would he do that, Ocho? I don't know. The man invited you. Okay, let me ask you a question. Why you didn't take your punk ass? to your family
Starting point is 00:51:24 since we're talking about family where was your family obviously this was on a podcast in order to do a podcast you have to have stories he wasn't on no podcast when his ass was in Russell Wilson house so he's talking about Russ family wasn't there where was his family
Starting point is 00:51:43 right you in the NFL so clearly you got money why did you file your family in you worried about whatever and he's sponsored by airline why you caught that man's pockets and hell they got to do with anything I still want to know
Starting point is 00:52:06 where was your family your mom, your dad your aunties, your uncles your family, your brothers where were they? I don't know. You talk about what Russell didn't have it he is
Starting point is 00:52:20 yeah he said hey bro i mean so he invited you to his house so clearly they thought you were going to be alone yeah yeah and we thought you we thought you was cool you probably didn't have family to go to for thanksgiving and we welcome me with open arms i spend a million of thanksgiving by myself when i was in denver ocho right i go to the 7-11 get them sandwich that you put in the microwave and take my black ass home i'm cool with it Call it a day, huh? I called it a day. One time, I'm trying to think,
Starting point is 00:52:55 who house did I went to? I think maybe Burns. I think Burns was the only place. Maybe. I think Monica. I think Reggie, who was a tight end in Denver. I think Monica cooked one year and I went over there.
Starting point is 00:53:09 But for the most part, I was by myself. Yeah. And I was cool with that. Hey, and my teammates would invite me, hey, Sharp, I know you're going to be by yourself. You want to come over, man? I'll let you know.
Starting point is 00:53:19 You'll never go You'll never go But I don't go I don't go to people house The one time I did I did go to somebody house And I had to tell you about it That said to me
Starting point is 00:53:31 Oh yeah Oh yeah But I would never go to somebody house And talk about what wasn't there Man you thought of me Thought enough of me To invite me into your place Yeah
Starting point is 00:53:41 And you know And then I'm gonna go get on a podcast And try to dump on you Yeah that's crazy And then I'm gonna dump on your son talking about oh he was bad that's crazy you're looking for that moment
Starting point is 00:53:57 I just hate that man I hate that Russ don't bother nobody you can you can like or dislike but he don't really he don't bother nobody he ain't out there talking about nobody the man found somebody that made him happy at the end of the day
Starting point is 00:54:12 he and Sierra I'm on the outside Ocho just like everybody else but it seems like they have a really good marriage yeah they have ups and down Yeah, they have disagreements. That's what a marriage is. Marriage is work. It's just like you don't get the job, old choice. It's like, okay, that's it.
Starting point is 00:54:25 No, you have to work. A marriage, you get into a relationship, everything is chummy, but you have to work every day. Yeah. And I get that. But for people to try to take a shot in the man in his house, if you want to say, you see me walking down the street, and you say, that man, he ain't speak to me.
Starting point is 00:54:41 You can say, you know what he's, and I don't, I'm not, you know, I'm on the plane, no, show. I got my headset on and people trying to talk, And I've just come for this very reason. You see, Ocho? Mm-hmm. You see? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:53 You start carrying on conversation. Yeah, I talked to him. Oh, he told me all this stuff. I talked to him for hours. You see how you, now you see why, Ocho. Now you see why. Yeah. I just, I've never been able to do that.
Starting point is 00:55:10 Anything I do, it always stays in house. Yes, it should. It always stays in house. And it's definitely not for the public. That's a no-no. That's a no-no. Oh, you go somebody at house. I ain't, hey, don't ask me.
Starting point is 00:55:31 I don't know. Man, what was such and such day? I don't even know, man. I was just there yesterday. Oh, man. You don't give up nobody in until like that, man. The man invited you in. If somebody is nice enough to invite you in,
Starting point is 00:55:45 the last thing you do is to try to paint them in a negative light. Yeah. And what's the point? What's the point? I don't know. There's nothing to game. Maybe they wanted to celebrate on their own. Maybe they didn't want to fly away out of Seattle.
Starting point is 00:56:06 Where's Russ is from Virginia, right? He's from the East Coast, isn't he? Maybe they didn't want to fly away to Seattle to take a six-hour plane ride. Right. Cincinnati? yeah i thought yeah yeah i don't get it man i i am so sorry i was man i was listening to this ocho i was and the more
Starting point is 00:56:31 he talked he wasn't he talking about me yeah the more he talked is like my grandma's to say boy the more you talk the matter i get mm-hmm i mean it just let you know oh jobe i swear That's crazy. How you go to somebody's house? Man, you know who house I was at yesterday? I wouldn't even let that information out. Thank you. You know, nobody's in it.
Starting point is 00:57:00 Let alone on the show. No, come on now. Oh, Lord, have mercy. Man, Russ, I am so sorry. I only met Russ a handful of times. I met him in his rookie season. had a great conversation with him. You can tell that he was serious about,
Starting point is 00:57:20 he was serious about football, asked a bunch of questions. Man, how do you win the Super Bowl? What was John Elway like? What did y'all do? You know, y'all closed. What was y'all this? You know, asked a bunch of questions.
Starting point is 00:57:30 Yeah. Yeah, as a matter of fact, it was at the Super Bowl in New Orleans when the 49ers played the Ravens. that was his rookie season oh where everything went out
Starting point is 00:57:50 remember the lights went out the lights went out yeah that's where it was man Russ I'm sorry bro I'm sorry I'm sorry taking he take it
Starting point is 00:58:03 hey these guys getting the way they talk real house husbands yeah but the housewives they know these hugged be the real house husbands.
Starting point is 00:58:16 Yeah. Oh, Joe, Jackson Dart will start week 13 against the Patriots. Hey. He took the podium to share classy tribute to his former head coach Brian Dayball. Dart said, obviously, there's been a lot happen since I've been up here. I just want to acknowledge that Coach Davs and all he did for me. When I look back on everything, it's really special to come to a place where a coach genuinely cares about you and loves you.
Starting point is 00:58:39 And you have that personal relationship on and off the field. I just have all the respect in the world for him. Oh, Cho, I don't know. Have you ever had a coach fired during the season? No, no. Obviously, you know, I was in Cincinnati. I mean, that Mike Brown, and that's not their foretakes. No, because cheap-ass Mike Brown ain't want to play nobody.
Starting point is 00:59:01 That you're not working for me, and I'm going to pay you, and I got a guy asking coached and I got to pay him too. Oh, no. Yeah, yeah, I've never had that happen. Mm-mm, mm-mm. No. No, I mean, I haven't. had a coach's fired during the season, but obviously I've ever had coaches fired after the season.
Starting point is 00:59:19 And it's tough. It's tough, especially when you build up a relationship. You go like Coach Reid's, Coach Reid drafted me. He was really smart to draft me, but he was, I don't know what, he lost to bump his head because he forgot to cut me. Wade Phillips came in after Coach Reeves and brought Jim Fosselin, rest his soul, who built his offense around a tight end when that was unheard of. So when those guys, I mean, I kept a relationship with.
Starting point is 00:59:45 Coach Reeves, kept a relationship with Wade Phillips, and I see Wade, it's just like, because I owe a lot of my starting to Wade, because Wade was a defensive coordinator in Denver and told Coach Reed to put me in the game. Wade did that. Put him in there. Yeah, Coach Reeves drafted me and believed in me.
Starting point is 01:00:05 And say, son, you can play in this league. He said, I've played in this league, I've coached in this league, you can play. You got what it takes to play in this league. He believed in me. Put a couple of plays in there. Hey, when I got in there, I said, I'm going to call this play.
Starting point is 01:00:19 This play is just for you. One time you called a play for me and I effed it up. How you effed up your play? I get it if you mess up a play that's really not intended for you. Right. But you go get the ball. Mm-hmm. Little by little.
Starting point is 01:00:35 I get so happy, man, I get so happy, or I get so amped up on your, I forget everything. I forget everything. I forget everything. I did, man. I get so hype, man. I just, I just, like, I'm just panicked. Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:00:55 But, uh, yeah, it's tough because this is what Jackson Dart knows. Brian Dayball personally selected him. Yeah. He wanted Jackson Dart. Yeah, as his quarterback. That's the quarterback that he wanted. He wanted Jackson Dart. And I think Jackson Dart needs to understand one thing, Ocho.
Starting point is 01:01:15 I understand you tough and it gets the crowd going and it's nice your team but you're not been to make no living running over no defensive players trying to run people over yeah he's tripping nope
Starting point is 01:01:27 he's driven somebody somebody gonna get to him well they already got to him he didn't he miss three games with a concussion? Yeah but you know he hard headed he's young he ain't fit to listen
Starting point is 01:01:39 he's going to get somebody going to catch him clean and he'll be like you know what this ain't for me Let me stay behind my computer Let me stay behind my camera And do what I need to do from there If a Lenovo gaming computer is on your holiday list
