Odell Beckham tweeted, presumably, I guess it's at us.
Boy, you can't say nothing in the world nowadays.
That's why I've been in my own lane, my own world, and put it the way.
People love to take ish out of context to rationalize a statement in their own head that makes sense to them.
What a world.
The video came out today of Odell selling game worn chrome heart cleats for 50K.
Yeah, eh, um, remember, remember when I, um, you were telling me the story, um, and I said, I thought, I thought he was given, um, perspective and context on how difficult it is to, to be able to manage money.
I didn't, I didn't really think he was talking about himself.
No, but Ocho, if you got, Ocho, what's difficult about managing 60 million liquid?
Hold on, well, what's difficult?
The number, the percentage of athletes, NBA, NFL, MLB is damn than 90% now.
So, I mean, it's difficult.
That's why I thought, I thought.
Because the first thing, when he said it and gave context and perspective on how difficult it is,
I thought he was meaning in general, not specifically talking about himself.
That's all.
But go ahead.
I get what he's saying.
Yes, sir.
But you're spending, first of all, spending $4 million.
dollars and in yearly expenses yes sir your home family home x y and z well first of all to
spend that you need to make make at least 10 million right because you depending on where you are
now if you're in a state that takes 50 percent now if you in lost but you in nevada you in
texas you in florida i think ohio has no state income tax i think arizona is like 2
so if you're in one of those states so it's going to take about 10 million to do that to have
that kind of lifestyle right now now what happens is ocho
is that you still try to maintain that lifestyle, Joe,
when you're not bringing in $10 million
and you're still spending that money kind of money going out.
That's why they go out.
That's why you see guys go belly up, Ocho,
is that you don't change your spending habits.
It's the same way, if you're an athlete,
you eat whatever you want, you work out.
Now all of a sudden you're not an athlete
and you still eat whatever you want.
Now all of a sudden, D.Bs look like D. Lyman.
That's what happens with money.
Hey, hey, think about what you just said.
Hey, Joe, think about what you just said, right?
Think about what Ung just said real quick, right?
Is you live in a lifestyle
when the money's coming in fast.
Right.
You become accustomed to that lifestyle.
That lifestyle actually becomes your image
and it becomes an identity.
Yeah.
So once you stop playing the transition
to be able to stop and have the discipline
to be able to cut it off
to become a minimalist almost in a sense,
it's almost impossible.
It's hard.
Because you always want to maintain that,
lifestyle and that image because what's the first thing everybody that you're trying to
goddamn impress no say oh he ain't got it the moat oh he broke and the first time on show you ain't
got a new car man hey he must be doing bad yeah right got bad you know hey you just see here with a new whip
every other yeah hey hey joe one thing about it boy i learned early i learned early i did not want
to try to keep up with the joneses i did not want to keep and joe and joe i did it when i was
in the bulk of my money, Joe.
Joe, I came in the NFL already cheap as hell.
I didn't care about people making fun of me.
I didn't care about certain types of women
not one to date me because they know, yeah,
he ain't going to be paying nothing.
He's not, you know, you ain't getting nothing.
That's okay.
But I understand, I understand dealing with you
is nothing but a liability anyway.
Right.
You know, I got the table and the legs you got
ain't gonna hold it up.
Hello, hello.
You know, so you understand that you play the game, Joe.
It's all a game.
And the better you learn to play
the game the longer you will be able to be without it's okay but so many of us um so many of us are
so caught up and looking like we fucking got it like i don't everybody want to be rich everybody
want to look like they like like shit no that that's not reality social media has us fooled
it has all of us fooled they ain't got me fool they ain't got me fool because i know they'll
I do okay and I ain't living like that.
No, I ain't got it like that.
You know what's scary, Joe?
Joe, this is a scary part and this is for men and women.
When it comes to the people that try to maintain that lifestyle
and you know they don't make the kind of money to continue that lifestyle,
especially if you don't play sports.
If you don't play sports and you and all this flashy shit,
that means you're willing to do anything, anything to maintain that image.
That in itself is dangerous, Joe.
Yeah.
If you leave the sport and you get you a gig
and you're making money like Stephen A.
You're making money like Strayhan.
You're making money like Tony Romo.
You're making money like Tom Brady.
Yeah.
Take off.
Wait, hold on.
Hold on.
Now what you're not going to do is I ain't going to me.
I don't mean to put the people in our business.
But if you're making money like Uncle Ocho,
shit.
Hey, listen, hey, boy, hey.
Okay.
Money like that.
Huh?
Uh-oh, I'm gonna set everybody up, everybody good, mom, good, sister, good, everybody good.
Listen, listen.
I'm gonna say this one more time.
I guess, I see them numbers at the end of each month.
Yeah, just, just add us to that goddamn equation.
I'm gonna tell you what my grandma always told me.
Huh?
Speaking into existence.
Hello.
Huh?
We do okay, Ocho.
Yeah.
We do okay.
Hey, when you say okay, add three more wires to it.
Okay.
Ocho, I saw a guy today.
I read a quote.
Yes, sir.
The guy was basically said, he says, as you become more famous and you become more well off,
relationships become more transactional.
Mm-hmm.
Understand that.
Understand that.
I'm learning that.
Do me a favor.
Do me a favor.
Just in case the chat didn't hit you, because I got one for you.
Say it one more time.
Say it one more time, make sure the chat hit you.
The more famous, you become.
the more well up you become the relationships become more transactional y'all know what transactional is yes
i agree i agree let me let me let me get let me dive a little deep before you real quick uncle joe
even if you're not wealthy even if you're not making millions even you're making 100 000
or even if you're a thousandaire you know you know you know to get paid every two weeks the individual
that you're dealing with is still dealing with you based on the
ability for you to provide and give them stability in a sense of peace always always so it's
still a line those those same that same quote and analogy that unc used are still aligns regardless of
how much you makes based on your partner ask your partner and tell her to be truthful if you lost
the opportunity to provide if she'll still be there ask your partner if you being able to make
things convenient and the opportunity dealing with you didn't present itself in a good manner
if she would still be there and tell her to be honest with you and you know a lot of women to say
oh i don't deal with nobody for no money it ain't it ain't about that like come on now let's stop
and the funny thing about it is you're always paying for who you're dealing with and the only thing
This is the only thing, Chad, I want you to do me a small favor.
Go to my Twitter and read my bio.
Now, there's a joke at the beginning, but I tell the truth towards the end.
And I'm going to just leave it.
Just go to my Twitter and read my bio.
And the truth is sitting right there.
No matter what they try to tell you, that's what it all comes down to.
No matter what they say.
Yeah.
But I just think the thing is, look, $100 million contract, I think everybody understands.
100 million nobody's getting all 100 million of that you've got to pay you got to pay federal
income tax i don't give a damn what state you live in you've got to pay federal income tax
and you have something called a jock tax if you're a professional athlete and you go to certain
states you got to pay for the money that you earn there if you go to certain states and you
work you have to pay money that you earn in that state yeah i think everybody is nobody is
under the assumption anymore that when they see a hundred million somebody actually got
100 million. But to get 60 to get basically, if you like I said, you live in a tax
free state and you only got to pay 30 30, let's just say on the high end, you're paying 37%
federal income tax. That means of a million dollars, you get 637,000, you get 630,000.
So if you bring home, if you got 60 million liquid, theoretically, Ocho, you put, you put that
in a thing, a fund, you put that in a fund, you're going to get 5 to 8%. There'll be some years you get 10, 12%.
Yeah.
So even if you're just getting 5% on $60 million,
that's $3 million a year.
Man, if you can't live off $3 million a year,
you got issues.
Yeah, we're in trouble.
I'm not going to say like a Jay-Z or somebody
they got full-time security and they got all these shelves
and they got all these people.
Obviously, it requires more than that.
But I'm saying for the average person.
Yeah.
Like myself, Joe, you.
Yeah.
Man, if you can't live on three million.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Listen, I'm not average.
I'm extraordinary.
Now, I'm saying, I'm chief as hell.
Hell, no, I'm just bullish, I'm just bullish.
But I'm saying people like us because the average person
is not going to be in a situation to make that kind of money.
Right.
So I'm not talking about, I'm talking about, look, if you got,
if you make, if you make a million dollars a year,
unless you got extraordinary expenses,
that should, you should be good.
Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
Get you a nice little, get your nice little house payment,
say, you know, five, somewhere between five and $7,500 a month.
Yeah.
Get you a nice car.
You and your wife get a nice car.
Mm-hmm.
one you got one kid because probably if you make that kind of money oh Joe it's hard
you're gonna probably be sending your kids to private school it just is what it is
there are very few people that make a million dollars a year and the kids go to
public school I've just be I'm just being honest with you now I know everybody
saying I send my kid it's easy for you to say that when you're not in that
situation but most people that make that kind of money their kids go to private
school yeah and what we were trying to do we didn't say with oh we were just
trying to say how people go belly up
Yeah because when you have kids multiple kids and you live in certain states and you pay five 10 15 20 thousand dollars per child
Oh got three kids if you get if you paying that kind of money for the kids guess what else you pay it for
Yeah private school private schools cost you somewhere between 10 and 30 thousand a year so now compound that yeah
So you win a hundred thousand a year. Oh a hundred thousand yeah. No you pay a hundred thousand yeah. So if you pay a hundred thousand yeah so if you pay a hundred thousand yeah so if you pay a twenty
20, that's 60,000 a month times 18 years.
A plus another, plus let's just say,
oh children, you got three kids and they go to private school
and that's another 20,000.
So that's another 60,000 a year times 18.
Well, they're not gonna stay the same
because private schools go up every year.
So it might start out at 20
and by the time they get to be seniors,
that's probably be 30, 35.
So we're just trying to explain to people how it happens.
Is that, that's why they say, hey, get you one,
If I could do it over again, I'd have all my kids from one.
I'd be married, save myself a lot of money, a lot of attorneys fees also.
Hey, hey, see, see, that's why I'm thankful.
Hey, Joe, sometimes they got to get up.
See, that's what I'm going to do.
Just this conversation in general.
I'm, I'm going to get on my knees after the show.
And I'm, I'm going to thank God.
I'm going to thank God.
I'm just, I just ran off from goddamn numbers, right?
And that's just, and you think, Joe, I got eight, Joe.
I got eight.
Joe, and I, listen, hey, hold on.
Hey, hold on.
Listen to me.
This, let me tell you while I'm, Joe, let me tell where I'm grateful.
though Joe. I just ran off them numbers, right? Boy, I ain't never seen it, never had to do
nothing like that, Joe, you know? No private school. None of your kids with the private
school, no, no, no, no, no, Joe. Joe, my, my kid needed character. It's a different time now,
Ocho. Yeah, yeah, my kid did a character, Joe. Yeah. Even, even, even, even, even, even now,
what you was paying, you'd probably have to double that, even just because the cost of living
is higher. You're talking about, you're talking about 15, 18, 20 years, and
go. So you know what the cost is right now. Yeah. So obviously the cost of living is going
up. So is the cost of raising the child is going. It's high. Hey, Joe, a some of them numbers
aren't was ripping off to, you know, them people, them type of people, you know, having kids
by certain people, it ain't really about the child in the first place. What does it be?
That's for them. Come on, now. Come on now. Yeah. Can you imagine having to pay for a child
50,000 a month? Who? A hundred thousand a month.
month yeah two years old what the hell what we doing uh-huh boy the fact that they that
they granted to some people oh yeah absolutely because it's based based based on it's based
for me it's mind-boggling I'm like man how how somebody need 30 40 50 K a month for a child
bro it's I know a guy that was paying in the early 2000 was playing 14,000 a month
I know yeah I know a few cats who paying more
$14,000 a month.
I know dude playing $17,000 a month,
22,000 a month.
I'm like, man.
That's $168,000 a year.
It's where you file at, too, though.
You know where they have them kids at.
Now, there are some states that the map is capped.
You could only get X amount.
You might only get $3,500.
You only get $5,000.
And then some states, they base it on how much the father makes.
Yeah.
Yeah, but I'm saying.
And they make you responsible for the private tuition
because they say if the child,
the child should be afforded a life
that if the child was with you,
that the child wouldn't enjoy without you.
Absolutely.
Now, I ain't telling what somebody told me.
I'm telling you, now, see, y'all can talk about a whole lot
don't know what you're talking about?
Yeah.
Bull Jive.
Yeah.
I'm with you when you're right.
Hey, hey, boy, that's a.
I'm glad, boy, those I had kids from, boy,
they wouldn't like that, man.
Yeah.
Yeah, Joe, I'm Joe, I'm getting on my knee.
I just, it makes me cringe hearing the numbers
that I'm rolling off in the, uh-uh.
And then also I'm present, Joe.
Hey, I'm acting, Joe.
And that's my thing, OK, Ocho.
It was like, these numbers, I'm telling y'all,
I'd have heard about cats paying.
And man, they almost got custody of the kids,
and they still paying this amount.
Absolutely.
You get the kids during the summer.
You get the kids for one or two months.
Guess what?
You still got to send that same money.
It's 5.23 p.m.

Hey, it's me, Eric Andre, bombing with Eric Andre
and Will Ferrell's Big Money Players and I-Heart Radio.
We are back with fresh chaos.
Our latest episode features Tony Hawk, Rico Nasty, Yamanika Saunders,
and Derek Beckles.
Here's a fraction of what happened.
This is your worst injury in your career, correct?
It's the most traumatic in terms of danger factor and life-threatening, yes.
What were the injuries?
Fractured skull, broken thumb, fractured pelvis.
Look at your phone.
Yeah, it changed my signature.
I can tell if I signed stuff before or after that.
You got help insurance?
I do.
I'm not explicitly putting down what I'm doing on insurance forms.

Ocho, you ain't going to believe this.
Kansas State quarterback Avery Johnson's father
was in a fist fight
with his other son in the parking lot
after today's loss in Dublin, Ireland.
Ocho, take a look at this.
Who's fighting?
The quarterback's dad and his brother.
So the quarterback for K State,
that's his dad and his brother.
So that's his son.
that's fighting the dead.
What in the world going on?
What they...
Like alcohol in the system?
Hey, I would love the backstory
backstory on this, too. I would love it.
Ain't no backstory. Who won the game?
K-State lost.
Okay.
Okay.
Look, to be in a situation,
that you fight your dad,
you got no respect for your dad.
I can see if I can see
if it's a family situation
where the mom is involved
and he's shoved.
I get all that, Ocho.
But in a situation like this
at a ball game and it's out in public.
And, you know,
you got to think about other dynamics too
and other elements
that can call stuff like this,
drinking, alcohol,
being in the game,
having fun.
Again, emotions are high.
You lose the game.
Some things might be saying.
and exchange and stuff like that happened.
Now, when we talk about family incidents
and we talk about fights and stuff like this,
you know, stuff like this happens,
especially in our culture in general, you know.
And that's what's so sad, Ocho.
But to see it happen and be in displayed
in public like that, it's very, it's very unfortunate,
very, very, very, very.
Let me tell you something.
Let me tell you how alcohol worked.
You won't do anything intoxicated.
You hadn't at least thought about sober.
because your mind won't allow you to go there.
You see people, hey, they stole an 18 wheeler
or they stole a bulldozer or they did something reckless
but you thought about that while you were sober.
Alcohol broke down the inhibitions
and gave you the courage.
That's what they call it liquid courage
to go do what you did.
I don't care how drug I got.
I ain't fin to fight my brother.
I ain't fin to fight my parents.
And it's so funny.
You see videos like this all the time, Monk.
And it's embarrassing.
Fight each other, whether it be sisters,
whether it be, hey, and I don't mean to bring up stories.
I don't mean to bring up stories, but obviously,
you know the story of my mom, you know, Ms. Hurricane Paula.
And I remember getting a phone call for my little brother one time.
Man, you need to come home, man.
What do you mean?
Come home.
I can't come home.
Where is football season?
I'm, you know, I'm locked in.
Well, mommy them jumped on grandma.
They're out there in the grass, they're out there in the grass and they're talking.
I'm like, man, go out there and stop it.
What is you calling me for?
I'm all the way in Cincinnati.
There's nothing I can do.
I'll take a phone more once I get out of, you know, I'm like, come on, Chaunce.
So, I mean, that's why I kind of understand it.
I get it because I've been in the situation before, wasn't present for it.
But after hearing my grandma's side of the story, hearing my mama's side of the story,
hearing my mama's side of the story.
I'm like, come on, y'all.
Now, you need to stop drinking.
Grandma, you need to stop talking to her like that.
But it happens.
It happens.
You know, they're talking about, man,
you won't have good luck hitting on old people.
You're right.
You won't have good luck.
If I'm an old person, you won't have no good.
You're absolutely right.
You're absolutely right.
Put them hands on them on.
I have a relationship with my kids that I've explained to them our dynamic won't ever change
no matter how wealthy you become no matter how poor I become I'm your father you'll always be
my child so we're going to keep this dynamic the way it is I might be in a situation where
I can't do for myself and you'll have now all of a sudden you'll have to be the parent
in the but I'm still the parent I've explained
that to my kids. My kids understand that. And when things got to a point where, you know,
hey, let's just, hey, let's just take some time. Hey, we'll reconvene in a couple of days.
We'll reconvene in a week. I don't need you to say something you regret. I don't want to
say something I regret. Ain't nobody going to put their hands on nobody because everybody
grown here. Even when my kids weren't going to, they got to a certain age. I was like, look,
y'all know right from wrong i'm not fin the discipline you like by by putting by you know
having my hands on you franking you and doing all that kind of stuff i ain't physically i ain't
punch him up he'll slap him or anything like that but i say you're to the age now i feel
i can talk to you you understand uh tim fitzgero uh go at power cats has confirmed
there was a post game confrontation at avivia stadium involving mark johnson father of kansas
State quarterback, Avery Johnson, and another man believed to be Mr. Johnson's eldest son.
According to witnesses, the conflict turned physical, according to one source.
Nor arrests were made stemming from the incident.
There's reportedly a video of the disagreement, and at least one eyewitness is tied to Kansas State Athletics.
Kansas State lost Iowa State 24-21 in the college football classic.
Avery Johnson completed 21 of 30 passes, 273, two touchdowns.
He also ran for a touchdown.
But that was a good game, right?
Did you get a chance?
Yeah, he had to get.
That was a good game.
Yeah, it was.
But the thing is, if you can't handle your alcohol, don't drink.
This is, this is, this is, this is awful look.
This is, the, the starting quarterback of a, of a D1 school,
his dad and his brother are rolling, a fighting, is raining.
They're in.
I hate people that act slow.
Stop with the BS like this is normal in our community.
So now we sit here acting like this don't happen.
I'll tell you about.
I'll tell you.
No, no, we're not saying that it doesn't happen,
but you have to also understand
just because it happens doesn't make it right.
No, someone's saying stop acting like it's not normal.
I mean, what, what, Rob?
It ain't.
What rock are we living under?
When we see it every single day.
Every single day, we see families, families.
It's us all the time.
How many more examples we need?
I'm talking like it's not normal.
It ain't normal.
I've been seeing it all my life.
I hate when people say dumb shit.
Not you.
I'm not talking about you.
I'm just talking about it in the chat.
Like, what are you talking about?
God damn.
it's just it's just tough to see because we got we got enough without us fighting ourselves
we got enough to fight a big battle a bigger battle we got enough we got enough issues
that don't involve us i've been i've been stopped arguing with people of my
complexion and they act like they live under a rock man
I'll let y'all have it.
Y'all, you know, this is how y'all feel.
Y'all say, okay, cool, I'm good.
I move on.
I think I just have more pressing things going on
than to argue with someone that looks like me
that even though they didn't come from a familiar background like mine,
it's not even worth it anymore, Ocho.
No, I'm just saying in general.
I'm just saying.
I know what you're saying.
I know exactly what you're saying.
I'm not saying it's right.
But to sit here and act like it doesn't happen is not prevalent.
in our culture and try to sit here, act like you're part of the goddamn royal family?
Like, that's not true?
Like, what can you talk about?
What do we talk?
It's 5.23 p.m.

Hey there, Dr. Jesse Mills here.
I'm the director of the men's clinic at UCLA Health.
And I want to tell you about my new podcast called The Mailroom.
And I'm Jordan, the show's producer.
And like a lot of guys, I haven't been to the doctor in many years.
I'll be asking the questions we probably should be asking, but aren't.
Because guys usually don't go to the doctor unless a piece of their face is hanging off or they've broken a bone.
Depends which bone.
Well, that's true.
Every week, we're breaking down the unique world of men's health, from testosterone and fitness to diets and fertility, and things that happen in the bedroom.
You mean sleep?
Yeah, something like that, Jordan.
We'll talk science without the jargon and get you real answers to the stuff you actually wonder about.
It's going to be fun, whether you're 27, 97, or somewhere in between.
Men's Health is about more than six-packs and supplements.
It's about energy, confidence, and connection.
We don't just want you to live longer.
We want you to live better.
So check out the mailroom on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,

Hey, it's me, Eric Andre, bombing with Eric Andre
and Will Ferrell's Big Money Players and I-Heart Radio.
We are back with fresh chaos.
Our latest episode features Tony Hawk, RICO Nasty,
Yamanika Saunders and Derek Beckles.
Here's a fraction of what happened.
This is your worst injury in your career, correct?
It's the most traumatic in terms of danger factor and life-threatening, yes.
What were the injuries?
Fracture skull, broken thumb, fractured pelvis.
Look at your thumb.
Yeah, it changed my signature.
I can tell if I signed stuff before or after that.
You got help insurance?
I do.
I'm not explicitly putting down what I'm doing on insurance form.
Listen to Obama.
with Eric Andre on the iHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
I'll be with Eric Andre.
Hey, everybody. It's Chuck and Josh from the Stuff You Should Know podcast, and it's that time of year again
when we knuckle down to do our annual holiday episodes.
We collected our best past classic holiday episodes and compiled them into a 12 days of Christmas
toys playlist that the whole family can enjoy.
That's right. Maybe you missed it the first time we detailed the history of Beanie Babies, Monopoly,
yo-yo's, and a whole lot more.
So listen to the 12 Days of Christmas Toys playlist
on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcasts.
Talk about you.
Ocho, doesn't come as a surprise
because I told you this was going to happen.
The Tennessee Times was a sideline reporter.
Will Bowling has been removed
from the team's charter flights going forward.
Bowling shared something
that he witnessed on the plane ride of a trip home
from Cleveland after week 14.
Bowling addressed the situation during his daily radio show
and apologized for relaying the story
and that has now understands
he should have been considered off the record.
Yes.
Everything that you, if they're not speaking directly to you,
it's off the record.
Yeah.
You don't get to go.
You don't get to go on the team playing.
Do you know how many reporters
have seen things on a team playing?
Well, who's late?
Or who's, maybe there's been a fight.
Maybe there've been some, some, some, some things that shouldn't have been going on.
Because back there, we used to have them, them little portable DVDs.
And guys be watching things, they shouldn't be watching.
Yeah.
Hey, guys be drinking and things of that nature.
You keep your mouth shut.
Yeah.
He got to learn the hard way.
Now, you got to fly, find your all way to the city.
And guys are going to be like, man, we can't trust old boy.
Because old boy going, hey, you're going to be like, shh, shh, shit.
Yeah.
Hey, listen, for one, you give an opportunity to have access to be around, to be on
those charter flights, and you can't just take everything you see and try to use it
to use it to your advantage and make it a story.
Now you, now you're outside, you know, outside the window looking, peeking through the blinds.
Yeah.
Now, I'm not even sure where they, I mean, for years going forward, would they probably, were they
probably, would they?
Probably not.
He probably won't be allowed on.
He probably will not be allowed back on the plane.
Now you're done messed up.
You don't messed up a good opportunity just to have a story.
Yes.
Oh, I'll give you a prime example.
I remember Peyton Manning's first year.
Was his first year?
Yeah, first year in Denver.
Yeah.
We're doing the story.
And I watch him practice.
Yeah.
He hadn't had this all year.
He's throwing with a glove.
Yeah. Oh, it's cold, huh?
But remember he had that nerve damage.
But prior to that, he had been throwing barehanded.
Right.
I see him, he's practicing with a glove.
I see all these gloves in his locker.
It would have been nothing for me to take a pair.
He got 20 of him in his locker.
Right.
Put him in my bag and says, guys, this is what Peyton Mann
is going to be throwing the football with today.
Oof.
It would have been a great story.
Shannon breaks news,
Peyton Manning.
And sure enough,
he comes out there forward,
like, oh.
But no, bro.
Everything ain't meant to be said.
Yeah, yeah.
Everything.
Plus, that is my team.
And they trust me.
I got free reign,
don't show?
I go anywhere I want to.
I know the code.
I punch the code.
And they don't let me in.
I punch the code and go in.
Right, right, right, right, right.
I go where I want to go.
I go upstairs.
I go to Mr. Bowling's office.
I go walking around.
I'm in coaches.
I go to John Fox.
I go to John.
I go everywhere.
I see.
So,
So we're the same.
With the access you have in Denver is the same way I am down there in Cincinnati.
Yeah.
And the funny thing about it, you know, I think why we have that access, the way you do,
and for me, it's always arms are always open and welcome because I don't take advantage of it,
I only go there maybe twice a year, maybe twice a year, you know, that that's it.
And I think if, I think of knowing the access that I do have and the love that they do show
in that stadium where I can go from top to bottom and I can go anywhere I want.
If I did it all the goddamn time, they'd be like, all right, now.
Yeah, you're abusing.
Come on now.
Let me take that back on Joe.
I used to be able to do that.
I ain't got that.
I don't have that access anymore now.
Oh, no?
I don't know.
I don't go back.
They invite me back for alumni things and the, you know, the Super Bowl team and stuff
like that when guys get to go into the ring of honor.
I haven't been back.
I'll have a great relationship.
I met the Walton's.
I met the Penners.
I met all of them.
They were great to me.
Yes.
They had a great conversation.
But I don't know them like I knew Mr. Bowling.
I would like to get to know them.
You know,
maybe I take some time and I go back and, you know,
and sit down and have a conversation with them.
Right.
But I'm like you, Ocho.
I'm never going to wear out my welcome.
Even though I had the access that I had,
I didn't go back and take advantage of it.
You know, I would go back when they invited me.
But when it came time for the Super Bowl,
you damn best believe, hey.
Yeah, you were there?
Yeah, so, hey, listen, hey, you know I'm excited.
You know I'm excited.
So obviously, most of the time, I was doing one a year.
Since I retired, one game a year.
I always made it, made it out to one game a year.
This will be the first year since I retired and what was that, I mean, since they left there.
Since I left there.
Yeah, so you left in a second game.
Right.
I'm going to a second game.
Obviously, I'm not counting the Ravens game.
I'm not counting the Ravens game, you know, Thursday night on Thanksgiving.
Right.
But this Sunday, I'm going to.
I'm going back.
I'm going back for the Ravens game.
And, I mean, it's just, just what, what, the warmth and the welcome and the grace that
they've shown me when I am no longer any value to you.
I'm no longer any value to you.
And they still treat me that, whether it be the fans, whether it be ownership, Zach Taylor,
whether it be the players, with open arms.
It's like I'm, and the fact that they still treat you like that when you're no longer
of any value.
I'm not on the payroll.
Right.
I'm not on the payroll.
I don't get a check in there.
I think the fans appreciate that.
Fans, fans know the guys that really cared,
that played their ass off that gave everything they possibly had,
left nothing on the field.
And when they left, they're like, you know what?
We got everything shining a sharp head.
We ain't never had to worry about 84 because we know 8-4
was going to give it to us.
Yes, sir.
It became difficult, no, because I worked at CBS for a decade.
So how am I going to get, I'm in New York.
How am I going to get back?
I went back when they put me into the Ring of Fame in 2009.
I went back again in 2011 when they put me,
I received my ring for the Hall of Fame.
But it was hard for me to get back because I'm working.
I can't, hey, you know what?
You know, the Broncos really wanted me to come back.
Now, I can't miss work like that.
And then I started working at Fox undisputed for seven years.
And it was hard.
And I went back.
I think I went back once.
But it's really hard, Ojo, to go back.
when I got to watch all these games
and I'm at one game.
Even though they got it on, you know, Mr. B
like, you know, Sharpeer,
what game you want to watch? And I was like,
don't worry about it, Mr. B. So it's
really hard. It's hard for me to talk
about something, Ocho, if I don't see it.
I need to see it. So I can
tell you the intricacies
of what actually happened, the design
of the play, to make up the defense,
X, Y, and Z. So that's
really the main reason.
I don't really attend events
when other events are going on
because I need to be able to tell you
what actually happened.
And speaking of being able to tell you
what actually is going to happen,
I'm going to tell you, your Ravens going to lose again.
Ah, there you go.
I'm just saying, every game I'm in attendance too,
you do understand.
I went to the Thursday night game.
Joe Burroughs' first game back.
You see what happened.
You see what happened, right?
And this, I got another.
You got your, Ravens, I got your boy.
You know, you Ravens fan.
I got Butter.
I'm not sure if you've seen some of the clips that Butter makes some time.
I have, I haven't seen.
Listen, Butter stayed away in Seattle.
Unk, I didn't got Butter a ticket, right?
Yeah.
I didn't got Butter ticket.
I'm talking about he, he's a huge Ravens fan.
He fly in tomorrow.
Okay.
He flying, yeah, he's flying to Cincinnati tomorrow.
I'm going to meet him out there Friday evening,
and I'm allow him to see greatness in person.
Okay.
I want him to see greatness in person.
I want him to be able to, I want him to be, because he,
He streams and increased content.
I want this content to be authentic and organic.
Yeah.
I want him right there.
I want him right there front and center, you know,
watching the Ravens lose, you know, and I want him to cry.
I want him to cry.
So we can see, I don't, you know, you know, one thing about it,
it's very hard for me to talk about people.
It's very difficult for me.
I can be critical.
Yeah.
I can critique players, but I wanted to see 77 person.
I want him to see.
77 in person and to see why
Lamar is going to be frustrated, why he's going to
get sacked, why he's going to be running
for his life, and the Bengals are coming
away with another win and one step
closer to winning the AFC
North that hasn't gone in our favor all season long.
Yeah. But for this gentleman, Ocho,
I don't know. He's got to be young
because no veteran reporter would never do something
like this. You think he's young?
He's got to be young. I mean, I, I, I don't know.
I'm not saying he, I'm not maybe an age-wise,
but it'd be interesting to know how long he's been in this capacity,
doing this job.
That's understood.
Oh, show, we got women on the plane.
I mean, we've got women reporters.
Lynn De Bruin, rest of soul, Lynn was great.
She was great.
She would always come to me.
I was like, Lynn, do you not have, she's like,
Michelle, are you going to give it to me straight?
I know, but somebody else might give it to you straight, too.
You don't want to get it from them.
but she was she was always
great and we were always respectful
and I made sure guys were respectful of her
especially women
Sage Steele
her first job was with the rape
you know as a reporter was with the rape
right okay and all that you know stuff that
you know she's obviously she's attractive
no boy we're not going to do that
that lady fit to do her job
and we're going to allow her to do her job
and we're going to be professional
yeah that's what we're going to do
she'll tell you ask her
She'll tell you.
No, we're going to be professional.
That's not the way we do things.
Right.
But on the plane, Ocho, you're like, look, we did, we gamble, we play a card for money.
And then, you know, obviously they got to go to the bathroom, Moucho.
They couldn't go to first class because that's where the coaches were.
So they had to come by and we move out the way.
And Mike just say, 84.
Can we not gamble on the plane?
You know, hey, y'all get to the room, have that it, you play your cards, you know, play cards,
you know, play cards, roll your dice.
But can we not?
Okay.
done. Now the only thing
that I really got, I don't really get mad
at mad. Animals get mad.
Humans get upset. I don't really get upset.
Because Mike was like, Mike was like, obviously
he let the vets handle the stuff and we did a great job. I think
the committee, the committee
that was in charge, I thought we did a very good
job of dealing with stuff
before it got big enough to eat, that Mike would have to intervene.
Right.
Mike said
It was brought to his attention
And I know who told him
The flight attendants did
Oh, Joe, you remember the portable DVD chat
I know y'all remember the portable DVDs
Yeah, the big, it was kind of big a little bit
Yeah, they looked at the bottom
Yeah, yeah, yeah
And they flip up
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Hey, what y'all were watching?
What y'all were watching?
They know y'all, first of all,
I had one, but, man,
y'all know my personality
I'm gonna be joining on the plane
I'm going to be talking about what you wore
What you wore on the play
And that's good and terrible
And I'm going to tear your ass up
Once we get on the second team bus
So you make sure you get
Nah
Nah man everybody want to go on bus one
If they got on some bulljive
They want to go on bus one
Because that's the bus Mike on
Yeah they don't know smoke
Yeah yeah they know we're not going
We can't get
Get your ass on bus too
Man shaw what bus you on
Getting on bus too
Mike asked
Look guys
It's been brought to my attention
Okay
You guys are watching stuff
That you shouldn't be watching
Like what?
What they can't watch, y'all?
Man, them jokes
to be watching Spanctrovision.
In the hotel, we call it Spanktrivision.
Spanktrivision?
Yeah.
What the hell is that?
Chat, tell Ocho what?
Ain't nobody...
Spancturvision?
What the heck?
Never heard of that?
That's where you watch them of the more dirty movies.
Oh, you're talking about like Debbie Does Dallas.
Yeah, yeah.
Oh, okay, okay.
Oh, you needed some earphones?
Ocho.
No, but Ocho, the five of tenets
And it's coming and giving you food and walking up and down
as you do want their thing to drink.
They walk about pushing the cart.
They see that.
Oh, okay, okay, okay.
See, they got their eyes in the wrong place.
They need to mind their business.
Look here.
You know you're walking up and down.
It's just like you're walking up and down.
You go to the bathroom and somebody feeling out their thing.
You're going to see it.
It's just the way it is.
Ain't nobody walking straight ahead.
You're not looking to your left.
You're not looking to your right.
You're walking straight ahead.
Yeah, yeah.
So Mike said, look, guys,
I don't try to tell you guys what to do.
You're grown men, but let's not do this.
Yeah, you're right, you're right, you right, you right, you right, you right.
Yeah, hey, them boy watching that thing when that plane, I'm coming back home, huh?
Man, I slammed that thing, I slammed somebody, a thing, I think I broke it.
That's it to see, because here's the thing, no, true way I look at it.
You know how coach it is.
Yeah.
Somebody jump off sides.
We all got to run.
I didn't even do nothing.
As a matter of fact, I wasn't even in.
Right.
So we got to run.
So if that gets out again, what might's going to do?
Mike's going to punish everybody.
Right.
Nah, you're not feeling messing up because you can't control your behavior.
Right.
Now, that's not going to happen.
Mm-hmm.
So that's where, you know, bro, the man told you.
I mean, think about it.
We get what we want.
We get free movies.
We get free movies.
Right.
Everybody got a free movie.
Whatever you want to watch.
I mean, me and.
Burns, I watched Players Club, I bet you I watch
players club 25, 30 times.
Hey, Bernie Matt was...
But Bernie Matt was a fool in that same.
Man, bro, I just didn't want guys to mess it up, one
person or two people, to mess it up
for 50. So, you know, sometimes you have to like,
bro, come on now.
You have to, you know...
But on the plane, bro, you can't talk about...
You can't as a reporter?
Yeah. You're right. You're right.
Even me.
Knowing what I know, I know, look, I make calls here and there, I just let it go.
I just let it go, I don't say nothing.
I know a lot of things that have transpired, be it NBA, be an NFL.
That didn't what I do.
I just let people think I'd just be talking out my, you know.
And don't know what you're talking about.
But guess who knows what I'm talking about?
The people that I'm talking about.
Yeah.
That's who knows what I'm talking about.
All right, there's this narrative, narrative that the bingos are one of the cheapest teams in the NFL.
Joe, I don't know if you know this.
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, that narrative should be gone.
Have you seen who, have you seen?
After we read this, I'm going to let you not chat.
I will let the chat chime in and what y'all think.
Boomer Assison.
I worked with Boone for 10 years.
a decade at CBS called the Bengals out for making their legends pay for their own flight,
hotel and extra tickets to a ring of fame, a ring of honor game.
Boomer, one of the most decorated quarterbacks in Bengals history, he's one of two Bengals
players to ever win the MVP award and he took the team to the Super Bowl.
So Ken Anderson won the award.
Boomer won the award.
Ken took him to the soup bowl.
Boomer took him to the Super Bowl, so did Joe.
Boomer also has a game in which he's thrown for over 500 yards.
He's also in the Ring of Honor.
The team is offering for him to attend the event,
the Bringer's Ring of Honor, in late October,
to honor Dave Laffin and Lamar, Lamar Parish, okay?
As part of the class of 2025.
Yeah, who gave? Yeah, yeah.
Laugh him, laugh him.
and parish will bring the total number
to 12. As part of
the invite, Joe, check this out.
Insizing gets two complimentary
game tickets to sit in the stands
plus the option
to buy another ticket.
But rather than pay for
Assizing's travel and lodging
like most teams would do,
the team said that they're
paying for a block of rooms
at the Renaissance Hotel in Cincinnati
and that Esyerson
could stay there for a
preferred discounted rate.
Assison had to RSVP by Friday in order to guarantee his seat for the game.
He later added that he believed he was expected to pay for his flight as well.
Now, I don't know how anybody, I don't, listen, I can only speak, Joe, I play for two teams.
I play for the Ravens.
I played for the Broncos.
Anytime, anytime, they have something, a lot of.
Alumni weekend.
They have somebody being honored.
Somebody's going into the ring of fame.
Somebody's getting their Hall of Fame ring.
They will bring the alumni back,
pay for them to come back,
put them up at no cost.
They will have sweets
so the players can go in there
and have a good time.
But not the Bengals.
The Bengals say,
nah, y'all get an idea with the rest of the fans.
sitting the stand with the rest of the
you get two tickets
I don't know
I mean no
you sit in the suites
that ain't what he said
that's not what he's saying
that's not
the alumni that come back
for the ring of honor
sit in the suites
they don't sit in the stand
so why would they say
so
I'm telling I didn't I didn't bend
I didn't bend all that month
we sit in the suites
I don't know I don't know
what boomer talk about
I went into the ring of the ring of honor
wood boomer those that are part of the ring of honor alumni have been back once already
you sit in the suites you don't sit in the stands now as far as uh room and board goes i'm not
i'm not sure that works i always stay at the ac hotel right on the van you pay for that or do
they pay for it uh they have a do they pay for it or do you pay for it is a simple question
i i don't remember because did it come off your credit card or did it come off their credit card
I remember I remember because I didn't book my stuff
I didn't know my baby my baby she upstairs no no no no no at the time
you were not with your baby upstairs so when you go back for function for the
Cincinnati Bengals are you paying for it out of your pocket or are they compling
comping everything they should be comping man that's what I said
Chad Joe can I can let me finish this Joe chat you see what he did he went all around
that he did all that hunk of them bucket
to find out
that the Bengals don't pay for each.
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
So all the, all these, all these
so y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all,
y'all, we spent all this money all season long
and we complain about buying it, buying it.
Hold on, hold on, hold on, Joe.
The team invited you back, Ochoo.
That's what I'm saying.
You got a number, how about this here?
When I went to the Hall of Fame,
hold on, man, time out, hold on, time out.
Now, Joe, you at there on a $30 million property.
Um, you got $2 million in dogs.
And y'all are complaining about buying a hotel.

Check this out.
Archinocho, when Phoenix, anytime they, hold on, any time.
Hey, look, anytime Phoenix has done something, whether it was for Marr-Statomar,
whether it was for Steve Nash, they invite all us back.
They pay for us to come.
Not only that, they pay us to be there.
Joe, when I went to the Hall of Fame, Mr. Boland, obviously I got to come.
My brother was my presenter.
He said, I'll pay for 30 people to come and put 30 people up.
He paid for the party.
When we came, when I came to get my ring for the hall, he paid whoever you want to come.
We had a suite to ourselves.
when we have when we have the Super Bowl
everybody comes back

I'm like it can't be like this for everybody
the Ravens
the Ravens when they invite me
come back to stuff, I'm like, well, I might not be able to make it, but I need, you know,
I travel with my, uh, uh, my camera guy. Okay, he covered.
Yeah.
They make you, oh, we blocked it off.
No, pay it off.
Hold on.
Hey, they blocked it off with a discount rate too.
You need to pay, you need to pay, you need to pay, you need to pay full price.
I know, the discount rate is free.
You need to pay for a price.
Ha ha, hey, hey, he ain't got to pay full price, baby.
Hey, hey, I understand.
I know, look, I had it special.
I know I had it special because when I would go back for events,
I didn't even stay, I didn't even stay in the regular hotel.
I told Mr. B, I said, that was too, I said, Mr. B, I'll pick up the phone and car,
I say Mr. B, that's too far up.
He said, 84, stay where you want, we got it.
His secretary name was Lisa, send it to Lisa, she'll take care of it.
Yeah.
Anything with the Ravens, boom.
Hey, when, when I broke the record,
when I broke Ozzy's record,
they flew my family in.
They flew my mom, my kids, my sister,
my homeboy, they did that.
Yeah.
I can't believe to be.
Oh, my goodness.
Hey, get up off us, man.
They got too much.
They got too much money in their
outfit.
Yes.
Let me tell you something.
Let me tell you something.
They said they invited you back.
Now, we can't pay for everything,
but what we can do for you
is we can discount you some room
for you don't have to pay for a price.
I'm glad you said that.
I'm glad you said that.
I ain't paying for its shelves.
I'm going discount it.
I'm going discounted your earlodge.
I'm glad you said that.
That's what I got you.
You see, Chad, you heard it.
Hey, what, hey, hey, boy, y'all, hey, well, ooh.
Okay, come on, Chad, y'all heard it, chat.
Y'all heard Ocho.
Yeah, yeah.
Listen, hey, let me, let me tell you somebody else now.
We love, we love to pay full price when it's convenient and something we want to do.
You invited me, Ocho?
Wait, when it come to other stuff, boy, I tell you, boy, about it.
Or Joe, you wonder what he would have, Ocho, remember we had the conversation about people,
charging people
to come to their wedding?
Yeah.
You're like,
I ain't,
you invited.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
That's a no-no.
Now, that's a no-no.
Now, that's a no-no.
How do you would invite me to the ring of honor
and then charge me?
What's that?
Come on,
you know that.
Hey,
well, listen,
they have,
listen,
this is,
they have a way of doing their thing,
doing things.
That's the way they do their things.
You know,
I ain't got,
I ain't got no more with that.
Oh,
can ask you a question?
You know?
So when,
when,
When you guys come, when they come back, so it's only 10 guys, Ocho.
I'm going in here, October, I'll be, I'll be there in October.
But it's only 10, Ocho, I'm going to let you go up as to pay.
It's only 10 guys.
You mean to tell me they can't comp 10 guys to pick up 10 guys' rooms?
Hey, you know, 10 guys' rooms, that's, that's, that's, that's 10 room, depending on how much a room is.
They got a deal with the hotel, man.
They got a deal with the hotel, Ocho.
In Cincinnati, first of all, you're not.

Huh?
Top, top, top five in the world.
And Cincinnati?
Joe, what are you laughing?
What?

Well, Cincinnati don't play, what?
You do, you do realize Jordan was born and raised in Cincinnati, and Jordan is shaking his head.
What's your, Michael?
When Jordan, we talk about my Jordan?
Yeah, I'll talk about my Jordan.
That's sitting here laughing.
Hey, Jordan, listen, Jordan been, Jordan ain't been in Cincinnati in so long.

Okay, well, he knows.
He knows.

Condos, apartments have gone up.
Oh, my dog, my dog got a funnel truck out there called Funnel Cake Island.
hear me, but Cincinnati
has been on a come-up
and people don't realize it because
they think of Cincinnati of the old. So you're saying
if I go to Cincinnati now, I can catch a nice
little vibe. Yo, you go to
Cincinnati tomorrow. Boy, you're going to fall
in love and you'll move. You'll go get your
property out there. I'm telling you. This man talking about
a food truck.
Yeah.
I'm talking about Cincinnati in general.
Food, the people.
We got the best fans in the world, Joe.
What you talking about? Y'all ain't got but 25.
thousand.
25,000 what?
Little last stadium.
No, hey, don't disrespect us.
But let me see.
Everything about Cincinnati is better than
Denver and Baltimore.
That's no disrespect.
Not even close.
Not even close.
Let me see it.
That's no disrespect.
You got 10 guys coming back.
One of the guys that's coming back,
well, first of all, the guy that's coming back,
he's in the ring.
His name is up in the stadium.
And y'all, and the room, Joe, is
$206.
Mm-mm.
It's probably for one day.
It's probably a one day.
So you bring the guys in, I don't know how they do it,
but they would always bring us in on a Friday.
We have something Friday night, Saturday,
you have something during the day.
You have a golf event during the day.
You wake up, they feed your breakfast.
You bus over to the stadium.
They bus you to the stadium.
They got it laid out.
You got food and stuff.
Normal food that's in the suite.
They got that.
Then they take you back to the, you get back on the bus.
They take you back to the hotel.
You take your ass home Monday morning.
Since he ain't doing that.
No.
Well, I tell you what, I don't know about nobody else,
but Cincinnati take care of me,
and I don't have to pay for money.
How about that?
Oh, Joe, you got to make sure the former player straight, bro.
Yeah.
Hey, Joe, Joe, Joe, I ain't had to pay for nothing in Cincinnati to 2002.
So what y'all talk about, I don't know.
No, what boomer talking about, because I, I wouldn't,
we all, everybody know they cheat.
Ain't nobody, ain't nobody.
No, we just paid Joe Burrow of 55 million.
We just paid Jamar Chase north of 40.
We just paid T. Higgins 35.
You've been in existence, you've been in existence since 1968.
You've been in existence since 1968.
So we finally paid three players in the last three years.
What about the other 54 years?
Hey, you have to evolve, huh?
Everything had to evolve all the time.
Finally.
Boy, cheese.
Wait, let me finish.
Cheeseburger that McDonald's used to be 30 cents, Joe.
Yeah.
They used to be 30 cents.
Now they're $2.12.
Tell Joe, where y'all practice at?
On the field.
Okay, where y'all feel at?
On grass.
Where the grounds feel at?
On the water?
Under an overpass.
So people can stop their boat.
People can park their cone.

Y'all ain't on no damn water

If you visit there, you won't want to leave.
I promise.
Ocho, I promise you this, Ocho.
You can take this to the bank.
I won't tell you everything, but I won't lie about anything.
But, hey.
I'm letting you get your door, that's what you want, Joe.
Hold on, hold on.
Hey, let me finish.
Now, one thing about it, Joe, you know when they come to me.
