It's heading to Atlanta and a three-way deal that sends former number one pick, Zachary Richar, Recher, to the Mavericks. Atlanta gets Lou Dord, Ryan Nimhard, Dallas gets Richard, and OKC gets three second round picks. Joe, are you surprised that Atlanta will cut bait on the 2024 number one overall pick? So soon, Richard is only 21 years of age and could still turn into a productive NBA player some day. He was bitched by Quinn Snyder.

And the playoffs because of Jonathan Maca Kinga was clearly a better option. Instead of gambling on Richard's development and upside, while the $31.3 million he's owed over the next two season sits on the cap sheet of Atlanta Hawks. Basketo Operation Salah, unseed Salah, decided to exchange him for Lou Dord. Dort shot 38% from the floor last season and will become a restricted free agent in the summer if Atlanta does not sign him to an extension. Actually, it's called Re-Rizache.

And hopefully he comes around and he reaches his potential playing with Cooper Flag. I still think he'll be a pretty good player. Yeah, and Kyrie, I still think he'll be a pretty good player in this league. It's just, damn, when you look at him as a number one pick, you know what I mean? You just look like, oh, man. You know what I mean? But I think when he fell out of rotation during the season and then in the playoffs, he started getting DMPs.

You know what I'm saying? So the right. Yeah, the right one was on the wall. It's like, you know, he probably obviously still had a little value. And Atlanta used it, bro, and was able to bring in Lou Dork and little Nimhart from Dallas Mavericks. You know, his brother, his brother played for the Pacers. Yes. Now, Nimhart, he ain't as big as his brother, but he feisty.

He's tough. You know what I mean? Hell, I think he's, I think he did, what, three, four years in college, if I ain't mistaken. So he's a, he's a guy who plays, uh, I thought he played. well above itself as a rookie last season, so I think he'll be a great addition for the Hawks. But, hey, man, the Hawks got Lou Dork. Hey. Well, I'm not surprised by this. I'm not going to be, I'm going to, you're because they've already gotten rid of Isaiah Joe. Now they got rid of Dort, who's, you know, they picked up his option and moved him. I'm not going to, I'm going to be, I'm going to be really surprised at Casein Wallace because he's made it clear. He doesn't, I mean, Joe, when guys play really well, it's a, it's a, it's a, uh, Brunson.

And I'm not saying he can go and be what Brunson became from the Knicks. But when you get your opportunity and he shows what he can do, Jalen Brunson got his opportunity, Luca got injured. He played out of his damn mind. And you start to think, well, if he gets his own team or he goes somewhere where he's a focal point, he might can do something. Case of Wallace showed you. Case of Wallace says, hey, bro, y'all never going to let me, bro, I'm going to be fourth.

No matter how you look at it, I'm going to be fourth. You got Shay, you got J-dub, you got Chad. Now you got Jared McLean. You got a J. J. Michael. Excuse me, AJ Mitchell. Yeah. So when is it going to be my run? Let me go somewhere.

They're going to be some hell of good additions for these, for some other teams, bro.

You know what I like? What's that? He's in the contract year. Lou Dors is a contract year. Yeah. They're going to pay him over there. Wait, they're going to be able to get over that, Joe. What did you say?

They're going to be able to pay him over there in Atlanta. Yeah, yeah. You know, winning, if you win, you get paid, Ocho. If they don't resign, they got $40 million in cap space. But you got guys that can compete on the defensive end. You got Dyson Daniels. That was an all-NBA selection of defense team. Lou Dork with first team.

You got a Nikiel Alexander Walker. you got guys that can defend because look, offense is great, but if you look at the situation when the rubber needs to meet the road, you got to get some stops somewhere. Got to get some stops.

And I ain't going to lie, you got to have some guys who are going to make shots. That's the only thing that worries me about Lou Dork. Not necessarily Lute Dork, because I think you're going to get a lot of wide-open looks, Unc and Ocho, considering the fact that I think this past year, he probably averaged about 5.5-3s a game,

shooting at probably about 38, 39 percent. He got to bump that. up a little bit, you know, try to get into the early 40s because you're going to get so many wide up and looks. And Coach Quinn, this is what they preach, bro. The offense is designed, you know, obviously through Jalen Johnson who creates

so much attention, but he's a willing passer, Uncle Ocho, hell. I think he, what, how many of this? I think he had like seven, eight of six. Because he wasn't far behind Yokage when they come to a triple double a game. So I say that to say this, you bring them guys over, bro. They're going to get great looks. We just need them to defend, play hard. Amen. I know I told y'all. I told

y'all the Wizards can make the biggest jump in the Eastern Conference. Hey, my damn Hawks ain't playing now. Yeah. They got, this is a great situation. you don't have no choice but the falling in line absolutely because the best players the best players are leading by example Uncle Ocho and it's just a great environment for a young cat to come into and wants to know what it's like to be a pro. sample size to what San Antonio's done. But over the last, but it's hard to argue this over the decade. Yeah. No, I don't think nobody has developed more players than okayc has sam presti and his system and whatever they got going on over there oh uncle ocho and okay see but when they draft they develop and them guys produce yes and this is the results of it like hey man i know because of camaraderie that they have over there and okay see all them guys probably want to stay together because they want to

tie it together it always seem like they're enjoying each other's company having fun but hey you got to break that up, bro. You keep the core nucleus together, but a lot of them guys that's sitting on the bench, although they help in many different ways, they just aren't as valuable as a shade check, J-dub.
