Starting point is 00:02:40 Listen to the Move the Sticks podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Rams, beat the Jags, 35, 7, Stafford through five touchdown passes. Travis Hunter gets his first
Starting point is 00:02:58 100-yard career receiving game, and he also had his first touchdown. What's your way they're doing? I don't know what they're doing. I don't know what happened today. How many snap did he play on defense? Two, three? I know he broke up a pass
Starting point is 00:03:13 from Devonty. Matthew Stafford, 21 of 33, 182, 5 touchdowns, no sacks, no turnover. They ran the ball 29, times for 89 yards. Devante, five for
Starting point is 00:03:31 three, excuse me, five for 35 and three tubs. Ferguson had one for 31 and a tub. Mumfield had one catch, five yards, and a tub. Trevor Lawrence was 23 of 48, 2.36,
Starting point is 00:03:48 one touchdown. He was sacked. Seventh. Yeah, Lee. Seven. Landman had one and a half. is that Carnel Lake son Q Lake
Starting point is 00:04:01 Wait from the Steelers Yeah Yeah He said Listen chat He said his booty So correct him Oh
Starting point is 00:04:18 So you're talking about Oh it's wrong It's Bouté I know that's how it looks Like it should be pronounced But that's not what he told the media So go look up What he told him
Starting point is 00:04:28 me, Google that. Y'all Google everything else. Y'all jump on here to try to prove Ocho and I wrong. Go look it up. And then you can come back and apologize to us later. Listen, I, it looks like it's, it looks like it's French to me, right? I took, I took, I took, I took. Yes, Creole, yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:46 So I'm going to pronounce it as if it's French. I'm going to call them Boutier. Boutier. Go look at, chat, go look at, chat. go look it up and all of y'all and somebody is pronounced this
Starting point is 00:05:00 pronounce that then you can apologize to Ocho now because y'all quit y'all don't never want to get you and Ocho was right
Starting point is 00:05:09 y'all don't never do that but y'all quit to jump in here y'all wrong y'all wrong go to and this is what he said
Starting point is 00:05:15 now y'all will get mad at the man because that's what he said the pronunciation is go ask him but anyway back to our normally schedule
Starting point is 00:05:23 prog your girl mocho 35 to 7 it looks like It looks like to me that their Super Bowl were the Chiefs on Monday night because they looked like stir-friced sense. Yeah, and what are they doing less? What are they doing with Trab?
Starting point is 00:05:41 I'm curious because everything seems to be up and down. One week he's playing more on defense and you're playing less on offense. One week he's playing more on offense. The next week you're playing less on defense. It's like they're kind of confused on what they want to do with them. I need my boy, Brian Thomas Jr. I know you're going to see this. Baby, I need you.
Starting point is 00:05:58 I need you every week. You got to come out with those, bro. You got to come down with those, no, Joe. Be, I need you every week, every week to be exactly who we know you are. You need to build off what you did last year and come in the season and do the same thing. When things aren't going well, Trevor Lawrence has to be able to count on you at all times. He need to be able to put on a blindfold and know I can throw the seven. And I know I can count it.
Starting point is 00:06:23 You need to be like birth control. you need to be like birth control every time you can count on you 99.9% of time at times you're going to make mistakes mistakes going to happen drops are going to happen minimize them minimize them you know
Starting point is 00:06:40 but the player that you are the player that I know you're capable of being you got to be that 24-7 no no no don't be talking about oh uncle grassy No, y'all jumped y'all ass in the chat.
Starting point is 00:06:57 Oh, you said it wrong. You said it wrong. No, go look it up. Now y'all look it up. Now you, oh, Uncle, aggressive. Y'all jump your ass on there. Because y'all so quick, oh, don't know what he's talking about.
Starting point is 00:07:08 I'm just telling him what the guy, how he told a reporter guy's saying. I don't, I don't like saying butte. I'm going to say bouchet. I'm going to say it like a French. So, but they, y'all get mad. No, I want y'all to jump in there and say, oh, you was right.
Starting point is 00:07:24 Y'all quit to blow up my Twitter, blow up all my feeds on social media. Oh, you was wrong. Why, when I write, I don't have the same intensity? I'm just curious. A P. They apologize. They say, we're sorry. That's what he said, though, Chuck.
Starting point is 00:07:45 Now, if I, some people say, okay, sometimes it's sharp. It has an E. Sometimes it doesn't. So if it's, is it sharp? is it Sharpie. It's sharp. Oh, I thought it was Sharpy. Well, I told you it was sharp. So, he said, it's Bouti.
Starting point is 00:08:03 But y'all get mad at me, because it's spelled, because when I first started at LSU-Ocho, I thought it Boutte. That's what I mean. But I knew, you know, with a name like that, I'm like, that's a French, you know. Obviously, the French, you know, we got New Orleans
Starting point is 00:08:18 in the French, you know. But anyway, What's going on with Jacksonville, Ocho? First of all, Ash, how many snaps did a Trev play on defense? Because he didn't register anything. He had a pass defense, though. He had a PD. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:45 If you're not going to play in both ways and he's not going to be beneficial on both weeks, why did you trade up to get it? Hey, listen. Why did you give up, you gave up next year's number one? Your guess is. To move up like two or three spots. That's crazy. Listen, if you take someone that high, if you take someone that high, he's going to be full-time somewhere.
Starting point is 00:09:07 And if you're going to play him on both sides like you promised, like you promised him, I'm going to use him to where we picked him as a number two pick. I'm going to feature him somewhere. Offensive. You're going to be on offense full time. You know what? We're going to have certain packages, probably on third down.
Starting point is 00:09:29 We're going to put you in there. You're going to go against the third receiver. Sometime to second. Whoever the hell going to the goddamn flood, that's who you have to face. I'm not sure what they're doing. I have no idea. I'm confused.
Starting point is 00:09:46 He played 14 snaps on defense. played 60 plus snaps on offense. Yeah. So that's 74 snaps. They had 55 snaps total on defense. I just don't see him playing 130 snaps and being effective. I don't, not in an NFL game.
Starting point is 00:10:07 Hmm. Um, um, um, I mean, listen to it out and see all the DBs. I see Chris Harris Jr. I see a,
Starting point is 00:10:18 Keith to leave. I see Shirm. I see guys that made Pro Bowl all decade players. I see those guys. And they're talking about, man, it's hard to go back because you need to get in a rhythm defensively, the back pedal, the switch, the transition. Ocho, it's not like you're playing one good receiver one week and then you might play some guys that's not very good.
Starting point is 00:10:40 Every guy that you go against on Sunday in the NFL. A lot of guys that you went against on Saturday, they're not in the NFL. there's a difference you're going against Jefferson you're going to get Chase you're going to get CD you're going against Pickens you're going against Rashid Rice
Starting point is 00:10:58 you're going up against DeBonte you're going against AJ you're going against Pittman you're going against Johnson you're going against Keenan Island and then guess what now go beat Pastor Tan not go beat Horn Jr.
Starting point is 00:11:10 Now go beat Stingley not go beat Quentin Mitchell do you understand what you're asking yourself, and you understand how just how mentally you have to be locked in. Oh, so you know, first of all, you got to be locked in. But when you go on against one of them dogs, you better be on your best behavior. And the funny thing, or they'll embarrass you and they're trying to.
Starting point is 00:11:38 And most of the time, every week, it's going to be a dog on every team. Every team, very soft and when you play a game, regardless of what position you play, receiver, you're going to be facing the dog. Whether he at, if you're playing receiver, you're going to be facing the dog at DB. No matter what side of the ball you go to. So you got to be on point. But they're not using them
Starting point is 00:12:02 to be effective, let alone not help him, but help the team. You got to help. He's the second pick in the draft. You would think his usage would show just that. And it hasn't to date. Not yet. And I understand.
Starting point is 00:12:18 What you think it? I mean, I don't know if this year they're going to fully integrate him and let him
Starting point is 00:12:27 play every snap, every down. Yeah, I understand I understand bringing the player along slow. But, yeah, we're going into week seven.
Starting point is 00:12:40 Well, we're going into week eight. Should we have, we halfway through the season? Listen, brother, He knows better than me He got a great offensive mind Because he was on the staff, you know, offensive
Starting point is 00:13:00 That's where his butter is breaded That's where his bread is butter Got me talking like Ocho That'll be around you too long, man I need help Yeah. Ocho, the Bears moved to four and two. Saints dropped to one and six. The Bears 26 Saints 14. The forces shaping the world's economies and financial markets can be hard to spot. Even though they are such a powerful player in finance, you wouldn't really know that you
Starting point is 00:13:34 are interacting with them. And even harder to understand. Donald Trump's trade war 2.0 is only accelerating the process of de-dollarization, which in a way is jargon for people turning away from the dollar. That is where the big take from Bloomberg podcast comes in, to connect the dots. How unusual is a deal like this? Unprecedented. Every weekday afternoon, we dive deep into one big global business story. The biggest story of the reaction of the oil market to the conflict in the Middle East is one of what has not happened.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Katie, you told me that ETFs are your favorite thing. They are. Explain that. Why is that the case? And unpack what it means for you. Our breakfast foods are consistent consumer staples, and so they sort of become outsized indicators of inflation. Listen to the big take from Bloomberg News every weekday afternoon
Starting point is 00:14:26 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, this is Matt Jones. I'm Drew Franklin. And this is a lot of you. NFL cover zero. We're just here to try to give you an NFL perspective a little bit different. Did you see the Colts Pretzel? That was my other big takeaway from that game.
Starting point is 00:14:46 What was that? Oh my. We think NFL coverage should be informative and entertaining. And twice a week, that is exactly what you're going to get. Listen NFL Cover Zero with Matt Jones and Drew Franklin on the I Heart Radio app, Apple podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Toyota, the official automobiles. of partner of the NFL. Visit Toyota.com slash NFL now to learn more.
Starting point is 00:15:12 Caleb Williams, 15 or 26, 172 yards, no touchdowns, one interception. DeAndre Swift, 19 carries, a buck 24, 40 rushes, 222 yards. Spencer Rattler, 20 of 32, 233, two touchdowns, three picks, can't turn the ball, all over like that, bro, and win. Your team is not equipped to overcome your mistakes. Rush is 17 carries, 44 yards for the Saints' offense. Spencer Rattler also lost a fumble, so that was four turnovers. That it beat you.
Starting point is 00:15:55 The Saints ain't that good to overcome four turnovers. Chris Oliva had one of his better games. Five catches, 98 yards, a touchdown. Johnson, five for 79. Damn. Shaheed, I needed one more catch. What did you like about what you did you see any of this? Yeah, I saw it, man.
Starting point is 00:16:17 DeAndre Swift is running the hell out of the ball. Again, with DeAndre Swift running like that, that it brings balance. It brings balance. Boom. We can rely on DeAndre Swift to do what we need to do offensively on the ground. So it makes throwing the ball that much easier. I know Caleb Williams did have interception.
Starting point is 00:16:35 But outside of that, he played somewhat of a clean game outside their interception. And they did what they need to do to win the game. They're four and two. I'm not sure when the last time, the Bears have been four and two and look this good offensively. Weak, hell, they played in the goddamn rainstorm last week, won the game. They come back this week. I know they're playing the Saints. A lot of people say, oh, that don't catch you.
Starting point is 00:16:57 You're playing the same thing, not that good. I told y'all. I told you, two teams. that maturation process between Caleb Williams and goddamn Ben Johnson where he's going to be able to maximize his potential understanding what his quarterback strengths are with his creativity.
Starting point is 00:17:17 All right. It just started. Yeah. And Radler had three interceptions. I see Edmonds had one. He's a linebacker. And Montez Sweat, he had one. He's a D.N.
Starting point is 00:17:33 No, hold on. That's sacks. Who got the pigs? They don't show pick. Oh, yeah, they do. Oh, Byard had one. Edmonds had one. And Nick Wright, in right, I don't know if that's his first name.
Starting point is 00:17:47 He had one. They just, oh, Joe, the Saints are not good enough to overcome four turnovers. There are not very many teams equipped in the NFL that could overcome four tournaments, let alone the Saints. You got maybe two or three teams. That's it. Maybe two or three. It all depends on when they turn the ball over and where they turn it away.
Starting point is 00:18:06 They can score on a high volume. They can score on a high volume. Let me ask you a question. Who they plan and they turn the ball over? Now, that matters too. Now, that matters as well. You turn the ball over against the Cowboys. You turn the ball over against the Chiefs, man.
Starting point is 00:18:24 You might well pack your bags early. Turn the ball over four times against the coaches. Pack your bags early. Exactly. The Patriots. beat the Titans in the Revenge Bowl. Drake May threw for 222 yards, two touchdown. Brable's first game against the franchise that fired him back in January of 2024.
Starting point is 00:18:48 They did a number. They did a number on them today. Cam Ward fumble for the second consecutive game. He has five fumbles this season and he threw a pick. I love Brother Cam Ward But the same issues that we had And the same conversation we had With Will Levis
Starting point is 00:19:11 And turning the ball over And not giving the team a chance Cam Ward is Actually Cam Ward is worse If you go look at the number Through the same starts He's worse than Will Levis Yeah
Starting point is 00:19:26 You got to give your team a chance And Ocho, you and I talk about it, bro, you can't keep turning the ball over. You can't give, give it up these pick sixes. You can't keep putting the ball in harm's way because I don't care how good your defense is. They can't consistently overcome bad play from you. No, you can't. You don't. This is why I advise, guys, stop talking.
Starting point is 00:19:55 Now, we tell, we, he's, you know, y'all know what he said. We butt. We, he keeps. Hey, but listen, wait, I like, like, like, like, like, when you say stuff like that, your play has to be up to part. You can't be, you can't be part of the problem. You got to be part of the solution. Through six games, the first six games of their career, Cam Ward has thrown for 11001 yards. Will Levis had 1266.
Starting point is 00:20:29 Cam Ward has thrown three touches. touchdowns. Will Levis had seven. Cam Ward had thrown four interceptions. The Big Take podcast from Bloomberg News dives deep into one big global business story every weekday. A shutdown means we don't get the data, but it also means for President Trump that there's no chance of bad news on the labor market. What does a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich reveal about the economy? Our breakfast foods are consistent consumer staples, and so they sort of become outsize indicators. of inflation. What's behind Elon Musk's trillion dollar payout? There's a sort of concerted effort to message that Musk is coming back. He's putting politics
Starting point is 00:21:11 aside. He's left the White House. And what can the PCE tell you that the CPI can't? CPI tries to measure out-of-pocket costs that consumers are paying for things, whereas the PCE index that the Fed targets is a little bit broader of a measure. Listen to the big take from Bloomberg News every weekday afternoon on the IHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, this is Matt Jones. I'm Drew Franklin. And this is NFL cover zero.
Starting point is 00:21:43 We're just here to try to give you an NFL perspective a little bit different. Did you see the Colts pretzel? That was my other big takeaway from that game. What was that? Oh my. We think NFL coverage should be informative and entertaining. And twice a week, that is exactly what you're. going to get.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Listen NFL Cover Zero with Matt Jones and Drew Franklin on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Toyota, the official automotive partner of the NFL. Visit Toyota.com slash NFL now to learn more. Will Levis, two. Fumbles lost. Cam Ward, four. Will Levis, two. Sacks.
Starting point is 00:22:26 Cam Ward, 25. Wait. Will Levis. 19. He got sack 25 times already? Oh, heading into the head. God, damn. It's more now. How many times do you got? Oh, now he's
Starting point is 00:22:39 gotten sack 30 times. He got sack five times today. Jesus Christ. So we can add a touchdown to him. He got four touchdowns, five interceptions. And now he got another fumble loss. Well, listen, whoever got the Titans on his schedule, that's like a
Starting point is 00:22:57 homecoming game. That's the game you want to play, but you know you're going to get your win. Hey, the Titans and the Jets. If you got the Titans of the Jets on your schedule, you might well choke that up as a win. Yeah. Hey, don't worry about war.
Starting point is 00:23:11 He would us. Hey, listen, you're going to have, you're going to have games. Nah, no, no. Y'all didn't want Mike Brable. It wasn't Mike. They fired Mike Brable. It's his rookie year.
Starting point is 00:23:26 This is rookie year. Do we give him some grace? because he's a rookie. But stop talking. Stop talking. Because you make yourself look bad when you go out there and play like that. If you do that.
Starting point is 00:23:49 They made the Patriots. But drink me. A, Drake me, nice, boy. Yeah, yeah. Drake May night. Ocho. So, 21 of 33, it's the highest completion percentage in Patriots history. 21, I think he completed 16 straight, 222 yards, two touchdowns.
Starting point is 00:24:12 He did get sacked four times, but he didn't turn the ball over. Stefan Diggs, seven for 69, Kishon, is it Bouté or booty? I'm not sure how to pronounce it the right way. but he had two for 55 he had a great fingertip catching the end zone, No, Cho. Hunter Henry,
Starting point is 00:24:36 four for 33, Austin Hooper, two for 11, a tub, and Caleb, chase on a recover of fumble in the end zone,
Starting point is 00:24:50 the one that Cam Ward tried to throw in it slipped out the back of his hand. His booty? Booty. See, y'all laughing. I was like, It looked like it should be Boutet, but it's...
Starting point is 00:25:01 You sure? Booty, yeah. Boutet. And he must be from New Orleans, huh? He is. He is. Remod Jack Stevens, they ran the ball 36 times, 175. You know Braver wants to run the football.
Starting point is 00:25:21 You know, he had that monster in Tennessee. Derek Henry. You know what I'm saying? You know you want to run that football. And you know what I like to? I like the fact that they went back to Stevenson, despite his struggles holding on to the ball. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:39 You want to play, son? Yeah. Yeah, coach, I do. Hold on to the damn ball. Simple as that. You hold on to the ball, you get on the field. You put the ball on the turf? You over here with me.
Starting point is 00:25:53 Choice is yours. The Browns beat the dog. Oh, no, man. 31 to 6th, Mike McDaniel, bitch Tua late for Quinn Ewers. He was 12 of 23, 100 yards, zero touchdowns, three interceptions. 24, he had a 24 pass rating.
Starting point is 00:26:16 Tua has the most two interception games in the NFL since 2022. Oh, Joe, this is what, this is why I tell you, quarterbacks, keep your mouth, shut. Now, we're going to have a conversation about your guy in Tennessee. Now, you remember your guy in Tennessee, we, that's why you keep your mouth shut. Yes, that's up. Now, back to Ocho. Oh, Cho. Hold on, hold on, hold on. I'm going to hear what you say. That's your team.
Starting point is 00:26:46 The Miami Guppies are your team. Go here. Listen, to, when you, when you, when you stand tall with your head high and you hold other people accountable. And, Tell us about things that are going on in your house, a house where we don't have the key to. So it's no way for us to know what's going. And that seal of your chest as that captain, you have to always be front and center and being the one to be playing at your best. You got to be playing at your very best at all times. So what you're saying in front of the media and your plate, it ain't matching up. It ain't matching up.
Starting point is 00:27:27 You can't be talking here, but playing down here at the bottom. There has to be some, some type of even keel where everything makes sense. Okay, you know what? He can get in front of the media and say some of the things that are going on behind closed door because once he touched that goddamn field, he's that boy. He's doing his thing. But when you play like that and on the opposite end, trying to do that, it ain't, it wasn't pretty. I was upset watching, I was upset watching the game.
Starting point is 00:27:56 We don't even have a chance to win. We don't even have a chance to compete, let alone you already going against one of the better defenses in the league. So, offensively, you've got to do that much better. You have to raise your level of play. Tyreek is gone. He's not walking back through that dough. He's not walking back through that dough.
Starting point is 00:28:16 And it wasn't like Cleveland did a whole lot. It was just that you were so pathetic. Your Miami offense was so anemic. They didn't really have to do anything. because you gave them short fields. You gave up a pick six. This is what you do. Bill Davis used to always tell us my college coach,
Starting point is 00:28:33 say, son, you praise in public. You chastise behind closed doors. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. See, I didn't forget, hey, listen. I got it with you today. I'm prepared. I'm prepared. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:43 You say, you chastise behind closed doors. You praise in public. Ocho, we played a game. We played Alabama and him. and coach called he called a quarterback draw on the first two plays he called a handoff
Starting point is 00:29:01 quarterback checked out of it and then on fourth down he called the draw at the game we lined up we lose the game we're all around the team coach says I've been coaching 20 years and I've never said this before you cost me the game just like that
Starting point is 00:29:18 he said he got there he got there in front of the media you know, we just got to play better. Look, the plays that we didn't make tonight at the quarterback position, I trust him, I believe in him. That is not what he said behind closed doors. That's not what he said. But in public, he knew he had to put on a brave face.
Starting point is 00:29:40 He had to put on a brave front. I'm not saying to what you said, you should have said behind closed doors to your teammates and keep the media out of it. See, you can't spin it because, see, When you say when the media does this, you absorb yourself of accountability. You see, instead of saying, you know, look, I misspoke. Everything that I said, I could have said to an individual or individuals that I felt that were late or not being the best representative of the Miami Dolphins.
Starting point is 00:30:08 That should have never heard that. The media ears should have never heard what I had to say. But when he spent it and say the media tried to spend it, now he's absolving himself of accountability. I thought you was saying that you were sorry. because you was taking the onus of accountability. But that's not what he did. And the thing about Ocho, he said that after throwing three pigs. He follows that up again with another three picks.
Starting point is 00:30:36 Yeah. So how do I look at you? How do I look at you? If I'm a player, Ocho, you got to see on your jersey. You're supposed to be one of our best players. And a large part to why we're ineffective by visibly is because of your players. I told you, I'm chat, I'm not sure, Chad, if any of you have been in a structured environment and play the sport and you look up to one individual, the individual who wears the seal on the chest, not only does he wear the seal on the chest, but he's a leader. He not only is a leader, but he's supposed to be.
Starting point is 00:31:08 He's your quarterback. So you say some of the things that are going in-house about players that are in a building, how do you think they look at you neck? How do you think they look at you, young? And you know, you know how they're going to look at you. They won't say it out loud publicly, but, you know, different. Yes. They always will look at you sideways now from now on, even with a public apology. And to top it off, the top of it off, it makes it even worse when you come back the following week and you play like that. And you stunk it up again. You pull your pants down two weeks in a row in front of the public and took a dump on the field.
Starting point is 00:31:44 Now, first of all, Ocho, I'm looking at you sideways because even before you open your mouth, I knew you weren't playing with. And I kept that to myself. Now, I could have put you on blast or when somebody said to it with buns or cheeks. I could have liked it. But I didn't do none of that. No, no, no. But what did you do?
Starting point is 00:32:06 You come put us on blast. And you got to the meeting on time. You did everything right. And you looked like stir-fried there. So what was your excuse? Hey, sometimes you could do all the talking in the world. You can do all the talk in the world. all the talk in the world don't matter, but what does matter, I know you want to do everything
Starting point is 00:32:25 right before you go, before, before, before you touch this field on Sundays, but all that talking and all that mean don't mean nothing. If you go out there, you stick it up Sunday at 1 o'clock. You still got to play. You still got to execute. The ex knows. And the person that has the ball the most, the person that is able to handle the ball the most is responsible most of the time, whether you win or whether you lose. Yes. Tua now has two or more interception games and most he has the most two plus interception games
Starting point is 00:33:00 in the NFL since 2022. He's done that 12 times. It's hard to overcome bad quarterback play because you know why, Ocho, you know why chat? Because he has the ball all the damn time. Unless you direct snap it to a, a running back or a wide receiver, which is the wildcat, he touches the ball. If he's playing bad, he gets hit, the ball comes out.
Starting point is 00:33:28 He throws it, it gets picked. He runs? I always question, Ocho. The man knows he has a history of concussions. He breaks weight last year and what does he do, Ocho? He lores his head on somebody. I say, you've got to be kidding me. Coacho, the Eagles beat the Vikings.
Starting point is 00:33:51 The 30th ranked passing offense coming into the game found its stride. Jalen Hurts threw three touchdown passes. Devante Smith had a career high, 183 receiving yards and a touchdown. A.J. Brown went over 100 yards and had a pair of touchdown. And Jalen Hertz, 304 yards. The receivers were the second most of his career. I think it's his first 300-yard game in the last 22 games. So Jalen Hertz, he was 19 of 23.
Starting point is 00:34:18 very efficient 326 three touchdowns Devante 9 for a buck 83 and a touchdown AJ Brown 4 for 121 2 touchdowns
Starting point is 00:34:30 this is what you have to do when you can't run the football 23 rush attempts 45 yards Sequin 18 carries 44 yards you got no choice hey it's so funny too
Starting point is 00:34:44 is Devante Smith was going crazy he was going crazy and I can see the mannerisms I can see the body language from AJ Brown he wasn't going off yet he hadn't gotten those t hadn't gotten those touchdowns yet well you know he caught the first touchdown the scramble they caught him on a
Starting point is 00:35:02 caught him on the road on it looked like I think of the lineback and caught him out he told him to go he told him to scramble it was a scramble drill it wasn't out it was a scramble drill it was a scramble but but outside of that he got he got involved in the game he got involved in the game came back and hit him came back and hit him on a deep one
Starting point is 00:35:18 and before you go any further that was not a path that was not a rough in the passer on Martin the Washington commander's guy when he sacked that press squad it's not my fault he didn't buckle his down helmet and I tackled his ass and his helmet
Starting point is 00:35:31 floor off his head that is not now look it seemed like it was a incidental contact with the receiver so it was a five-yard penalty that's not roughing the passer that is not rough in the passer it's not my fault if you don't buckle your damn helmet
Starting point is 00:35:46 I tackle you. your helmet fell off. I didn't rub you up. He did the horse collard. He had him by the middle of his jersey and he snatched his ass down. So that's all I want to say about that. Obviously, I think about the refs.
Starting point is 00:35:58 You know the refs, when everything is going full speed, they can't tell. They can't see that. All they see is the hand up high and the helmet coming off and, you know, they're throwing that flag right away. They're throwing a flag right away. Outside.
Starting point is 00:36:11 Yeah. Oh, Cho. They can review it. I mean, because think about it, when Jared Gough, when they called that touchdown back, they didn't throw the flag on the field. That came from Chicago. Okay, yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:27 Oh, you're right. You're right. You're right. I like what Jay and the Hurst did. I like what he did. Because obviously, listen, you quieted out again. You couldn't run the ball. They say he can't throw.
Starting point is 00:36:41 You can't put it in the air. and what did he go out there and do? He put it in the air. You're not going to allow us to run the ball like the Chiefs did in the Super Bowl? Okay, hold my beer. Let me show you I can do everything. I can throw it too. Yep.
Starting point is 00:36:54 Now what you're going to do? Carson wins was 26 of 42, 313, two interception. Jordan Addison had nine for a buck 28. Justin Jefferson had five for 79. He did drop a touchdown, you know, what you call? was able to get his hand in there. Cooper Dejean. Cooper did a good job, right? Yeah. But here's the thing, though.
Starting point is 00:37:20 He's finding out it's different on the island than it is. Well, absolutely. Hey, I'm just saying. Absolutely, especially when you're going against one of the best, if not the best, depending on who you ask, is a different thing? I don't, Ocho, what do you think about that touchdown? They, at the field, they called it a touchdown, the diving, T.J. Hawkinson, but they reviewed it, and they said,
Starting point is 00:37:43 said no, what do you think it was a touchdown, huh? I think it was a touchdown because the ball didn't move when he ground. It didn't move. And all he did was bring it back in. He brought it back in on the turn. You know, it's tough. They're saying the ground helped him secure it. Come on.
Starting point is 00:38:00 The ball didn't move when he hit the ground. It didn't move at all. It didn't. And all he did was he brought it back into a chest as he rolled over. To me, that's a touchdown. They're so inconsistent with with that call. I don't know what a touchdown I don't know, a catchy is any goddamn mo. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:38:17 I agree. I agree with you 100%. Because, like I said, what I thought was a catch, you know, sometimes they let it as like his hands under, like, bro, he caught that. He caught it. But give the Eagles credit today, because Jalen Hertz, one of this game with his arm. 19 of 23, 326, three touchdowns.
Starting point is 00:38:44 He was sacked three times, but he says, you know what, I'm not going to put the ball in harm's way. And he doesn't. But this is what it's going to take. For them to get back to where they want to be, this has to be a regular, this has to be a normal occurrence. This can't be an outlier.
Starting point is 00:39:04 This can't be an anomaly. They're not going to let Sequin running. You're not going to win their. the game. But that doesn't mean that doesn't mean you don't attempt to Ocho. I'm not going to just abandon it and have him throw the ball. Because think about Ocho, he threw the ball 23 times.
Starting point is 00:39:18 He didn't throw it 33, 43, I still, I still got to make you respect Sequin. And if I get one-on-one coverage, A.J. DeVante, be ready. Yeah, I saw him do that today, too. I like that. And the replay was able to see it. He saw one, he saw one-on-one with AJ Brown.
Starting point is 00:39:35 And he quit real slowly. I don't know what that means right there. It was that skinny post. He saw a man, that skinny post. He hit him on that skinny post for that touchdown. Boom, I like that. That's going off script. That's going off script.
Starting point is 00:39:48 No matter what players call, AJ Brown, keep your eyes on me. If I see something, I'm going to throw you a number and let you know what it do. The camera caught AJ after scoring the second touchdown today. This when you throw me the eff and ball, what the F is that? Just throw me the F and ball.
Starting point is 00:40:07 after the game, Devante Smith said to play that result in a 79-yard touchdown was there for them all game. He said he and his teammates said, advocated for it at halftime after they scored, Joy and Ma Laude went to him and said, you called your shot. Thank you. They do.
Starting point is 00:40:23 But here's the bank, oh, Joe. You and I played a dependent position. John used to tell me, look, I'm going to take your word for it. You was open. I'm going to look. I am going to go on. Now, if I go back and look at film and your ass wasn't open.
Starting point is 00:40:42 That's why you got to be careful. You got to be careful as a receiver saying you open and really not knowing what's around you. You got to be sure and you got to be definite. It's what it is. Because if we come back to that play and you were open in the first quarter and we come back and run it, maybe through, maybe in a different formation and hoping we get the same look defensively, boy, you bet you don't lie to me. Hey, because I did that.
Starting point is 00:41:07 the game. I said, man, John, bro, T, I was open. He's like, he's like, T, you weren't open. I said, I was open. You know, I got it. I was open. He said, I tell you what? I'm going to look at it tomorrow. If you're not open, it's going to be hard press for you to get you to passers. About two series later, I can't until I said, hey, T, you know that play you was talking about, what you were talking about? I wasn't open. Since you put it like that, you ain't going to give me no passes. I wasn't open. But that's the thing.
Starting point is 00:41:50 If you tell the quarterback, because they're going to trust you, I'm open, okay? You say this, hey, Coach, Devante said he's open. Ocho said he's open. Okay. You better be open. But I thought J. LaHertz played unbelievable football today. I thought he was decisive when it throws. We got outside the pocket.
Starting point is 00:42:12 He was accurate with his throws. AJ, four for 121 and two touchdowns. Hey, Devonte 9 for a buck 80, a buck 83 and a touchdown along of 71, along of 79 on 11 targets. But think about it, 23, over 300 yards on 23 attempts. That's not a lot of attempts. That's how efficient he is. That's called throwing the.
Starting point is 00:42:37 ball with efficiency, with efficiency, making all the right throws. And then when things break down in the pocket, I'm not, you know, I'm not going to take off and run with the ball. I'm not going to take off with the ball.
Starting point is 00:42:50 No, he's looking for guys to break. He's looking to run the scramble. He's going to bring people out, going direction, which way to go and coming back, AJ Brown had a good one. When the play broke down to the right, hit AJ Brown on,
Starting point is 00:43:01 it was third and 14. Oh, man. And the boy was out there dealing. And this is the good thing, because now things change. Most of the time, the way they play and the way they won last year is Sequin Barclay had historic season
Starting point is 00:43:15 running the ball. And most of the time for the Eagles, they would run the ball to open up the pass. Well, hell, they're not allowing the Eagles and Sequin to run the ball the way they did last year. So maybe now what's going to happen? Maybe things are going to, they're going to win playing in reverse.
Starting point is 00:43:30 We're going to have to throw the ball to open up the goddamn run. Absolutely right. Because they still had, okay, because I'm telling what defense coordinator said. He did that last week. Let's see if he could do it again. Because I saw Sequan do what he did last year for the entirety of the season. Sequant has a history.
Starting point is 00:43:50 I'm going to make him do it again. Ocho, the Packers, went on the road, and they win in Arizona. But it wasn't easy by the score of 27 to 23. Do you see how they looked in the first three and a half quarters, Ocho? George Love was 19 or 29, 179, one touchdown. Josh Jacob, 13, carries 55 yards, two touchdowns. They win it. This is why you go get a Michael Parsons.
Starting point is 00:44:18 If I'm going to make you the highest paid defensive player in NFL history, the highest non-quarterback, you know what you got to do? When you, that guy, when you are Miles Garrett, when you are Michael Parsons, when you are a T.J. Watt, I knew. you to turn the lights out the building. I don't, I don't, the first quarter, I don't care. Now, I need to keep them, I need, I need, I need you to keep them out of the end zone. Did you see the relentlessness?
Starting point is 00:44:45 You see how quick he beat that right tackle? Hey, listen. He wasn't worried about no, he wasn't worried about no holein either. He won't worry about no, don't worry about who holding. Don't worry about who holding. No, I pay you for, I, as a matter of fact, I pay you $47 million, run through the hole. that's why you're funny he's that good Michael's that good that first step
Starting point is 00:45:10 his ability he can turn speed to power he can bend he can wax on he can rip he can play over the guard he can play I mean he can move up and down the line he's too good of a player this is why you go pay Michael Parsons this is why you give up Kenny Clark and two first rounders
Starting point is 00:45:28 for what you saw today this is what he should be because you got Rishon Gary on the other side. You got Wyatt. There's no reason. He really, he, he, he, he, sometimes I, I wonder if Michael really understand how good he does. I don't think, and you know what, that's a good thing.
Starting point is 00:45:49 It's a good thing that he doesn't understand how good he is and he's just out there just playing football. He's just out there just playing football with no inclination in how good you really are. He had no sex. He had one sack, excuse me, he had one sack coming to the game, if I'm not mistaken. He had three today.
Starting point is 00:46:06 And you already know how the game goes. You go a week after week. They come in bunches. Remember, I told you. They're like great to bananas. They come in bunches. You got three to date. And I probably watch next week.
Starting point is 00:46:15 You have another three. And then you look up before you get to the halfway through the season. You're damn there close to 10 out of the blue out of nowhere. Because the thing is you got Rishon Gary on the other side. He can rush the pass. So you got Wyatt pushing the middle. bro y'all hey meet me at the quarterback
Starting point is 00:46:37 ready break oh yeah that's what I'm saying meet me at the quarterback hey we play sorry DBs hey Rod Ed meet me in the end zone what we do
Starting point is 00:46:51 what we do today we're my high salute meet me in the end zone I was like damn Packers but Jacob percent played well. 25 or 36, 279, two touchdowns.
Starting point is 00:47:06 Yeah, he didn't hurt him. Trey McBride had 10 catches, 74 yards, two touchdowns. Marvin Harrison had two catches, 56 yards, 35 low. But in the end, that pass rush was just too much. They were just relentless. Think about it.
Starting point is 00:47:26 Look at it. Quay Walker, a sack of the half. Mika had three sacks. Roshan Gary had a sack. They sacked the quarterback six times. That's how it should be. You got two best, two good young pass rushes and Mika and Rishon Gary. You got Walker who can rush the pass.
Starting point is 00:47:46 You got Wyatt who can put pressure on the quarterback. There ain't no reason. Quarterback should have time to stand back there and pat that ball like that. The good thing about it is you didn't have to deal with Kyle and Murray, who's a two-three quarterback. You're dealing with Jacoby Brissette. Who's the statue?
Starting point is 00:48:01 He ain't going to where. He ain't going nowhere. He ain't going nowhere. You get the ball and get the ball out your hands fast as possible. But when it mattered most, them sacks came in, especially Michael's towards the end of the game. But see, that's what I need. I need you to turn the lights out to build it.
Starting point is 00:48:22 Somebody got to cut the lights off. What good? Ocho, what good is we? Oh, we got a guy that guy. 20 sacks but then we allowed them to go right down the field and get a touchdown what good them 20 sacks doing me i don't care and this is how i look at offense and defense and you can chat you can call me crazy can you get done what you need to get done when you absolutely have to oh so what good is having the number one ranked offense i can't get a first down so the opposing
Starting point is 00:48:49 team don't get the ball back what good is having the number one defense if i can't get off the field on third down i can't keep them from getting in field going to rank but what What did that do? I need it to matter. I got money, but I can't get nothing out of the ATM. Well, it'll do me no good. The Panthers beat the Jets 13 to 6. Rico Dowdell, Rico Dowdell still appeared to be more dominant back.
Starting point is 00:49:26 he had 79 yards rushing on 17 carries compared to Hubbard's 31 yards on 14 carries we missed that didn't we? He was one about prize peaks
Starting point is 00:49:40 I told you I told you you you ain't listened to me but see I thought but see I was I was thinking because Hubbard was coming back I told you don't worry about that man with doubto got the goddamn he got the hot hand
Starting point is 00:49:55 always bet with y'all at hand yeah 96 yards he was supposed to get 79 how many do you get 96 you got to listen to me sometime i know but i got taquan though taquan got him he had to get seven yards he called one deep one hey uh justin fields was bit at halftime in favor of long time back up tyrod taylor just signed fields to a two-year 40 million dollar deal including 30 30 million guaranteed they only needed six and a half games to realize He's not looking good. Don't look like he'd ask him. Listen.
Starting point is 00:50:28 He had, he was six or 12, 46 yards. My thing is, look, it doesn't seem like he processes it as fast as he should. And if the quarterback, Ocho, it's got to be like that. It kind of make me sad a little bit because I understand what Justin Fields has had to go through so far early in his career.
Starting point is 00:50:50 He had to deal with issues over in Chicago where they felt he wasn't the answer. And we've always had to. conversations about quarterbacks that have gone through Chicago and weren't developed the right way, didn't have, they didn't have the right tools around them to help them develop, and every quarterback has always seen to not really flourish there. And now he goes to Pittsburgh, and you think maybe I'll get an opportunity to compete for the starting job. He wins the starting job due to injury, played well when Russell Wilson was hurt, and obviously he gets bench when Russell Wilson comes back. So I'm thinking, okay, boom, now this is your team.
Starting point is 00:51:25 You have nobody worry about, nobody looking overshoulder. It's just your team with a job for you to lose. And I thought he would be the answer for the foreseeable future. And so far, how it's turned out, things just haven't worked out on. They just haven't. And at some point in time, we can't keep blaming everybody else, Joe. We can't. I was a little concerned when he couldn't beat out Jake Fromm for the starting job.
Starting point is 00:51:55 at Georgia. I was like, well, damn. Damn. He's like Jake Farm, no hell, razor. You know what I'm saying? Okay, okay, Joe Burrell. Okay, Trevor Lawrence. Okay, you don't beat them out.
Starting point is 00:52:13 I ain't got no problem with that. Okay, you can't beat out a Jones from a, uh, uh, that was at Alabama. Okay, I get that. But Jake Frum? Oh, like I said, whatever it is, it's not, I don't know. And I think they're going to stick with Tyrone. Now, I know Tyrod, they were in the bad spot.
Starting point is 00:52:39 Tyrault didn't come in and, you know, they know you're going to throw the ball. You can't run it. Breeze Hall tweeted something last week, made it seem like, you know, free briefs or something like that. I don't know what's going on there. But Justin Fields has got to do a better job. He's got to see the field better. He's got to process it sooner. And or he can't play,
Starting point is 00:53:00 you can't play quarterback if you don't have, if you, if you can't process information on you. And you got to, you got to process it fast. You got to be able to recall, you got to be able to call it and spit it out.
Starting point is 00:53:10 And when you see it, it's got to be boom. It's got to go. Yeah. It is what it is to play that position. Damn, man. That, that, that sucks. That sucks.
Starting point is 00:53:21 But on the other, on the other hand, on the other hand, let's talk about, let's talk about my Panthers. Yes. I'm saying. Bryce Young, 15 or 25, 135, 1-30, one touchdown. He did leave the game. Andy Dalton came in.
Starting point is 00:53:33 Four for 70, four of seven, for 60 yards. Both players were sacked. Bryce Young was sacked once. Andy Dalton was sacked once. But, Leggett had his best game. Nine for 92 for 100 yards. And you remember, Ocho, he caught that one that sealed it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:53 Hey, I told y'all. Hey, chat, chat, don't try to jump on the bandwagon now. Don't try to jump on the bandwagon now. You did. Your two teams, bears in the, uh, the, uh, the fantasy. Before the season started, I told you there are going to be two teams that y'all need to watch. They're going to be two teams that y'all need to watch. I said it was a Chicago Bills because it got Ben Johnson and, Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams.
Starting point is 00:54:15 There's going to be a beautiful marriage. Right now, I think the bears sit four and two, if I'm not mistaken. Now, the Carolina Panthers, nobody believed in us, but I believe in us. I talked about Bryce Young, brother Hunter Winfro, brother Jimmy Horn, Xavier Leggett, going into his second year, eating raccoons and do whatever he do. One of his best games is a 9-for-92 in a TD, a TD to seal the game. I'm telling you. J.C. Horn, boy, I see you.
Starting point is 00:54:42 I see you. Hey, one of the better corners in the league, especially when it comes to man-in-man. I see you. Mm-hmm. Huh? Don't think I'm not going to go change that madden rating. I see you. I know Brother Connell has got to be smiling for me at a year, man.
Starting point is 00:54:59 Carolina's defense sacked the Jets quarterback six times for 33 yards and losses. Carolina, four and three. Hey. They're in second place. They're tied for second place where I think Atlanta, but he might be in front of L.N.I. Obviously, Tampa's in first place. We'll see what happens with Tampa tomorrow as they play Detroit.
Starting point is 00:55:23 That's going to be a big game. But Carolina, 43, jets fall to 0. Damn. Chiefs, BTA to Raiders, 31-0. Rashidt came back on the field, and my homeboys and Andy Reid
Starting point is 00:55:43 didn't race any time getting him to football. The chiefs looked really. This is the best the chiefs looked in a while. And my homeboy started looking. He started to look like he did three, two or three, four years ago, Ocho. Mahomes, 26 and 35, 286, three touchdowns, clean game. At all. Pacheco, then he ran the ball 41 times, 152.
Starting point is 00:56:08 Travis Kelsey, three catches, 54 yards. Rashid Wright, seven catches, 42 yards, two touchdowns. Smith had five for, or, five for 42, Taekwon, third, and a half. Thornton had one for 39, Juju, three for 35, Xavier Worthy, three for 35, Noah Gray, one for 28, Hollywood Brown, two for 14,
Starting point is 00:56:33 and a touchdown. Everybody getting in on the party, on. Gino, you're going to lose your job, bro. You keep this up. 10 for 16, 67 yards. Hold on, Ocho. I want to read something to you.
Starting point is 00:56:49 I want you to want you to, and this was like the Jets were last week the Raiders had three first downs the Chiefs had 30 first downs Jesus Christ they were 0 of 7 on third downs all of 1 on fourth downs they had a great they ran 30 total plays the Chiefs had as many first downs as the Raiders had plays chat you heard me correctly the Chiefs had as many first downs 30 as the Raiders had total plays 30.
Starting point is 00:57:27 The Chiefs had 434 total yards. The Raiders had 95 total yards. The Chiefs possessed a football 42 minutes and 8 seconds. It's a 60 minute game.
Starting point is 00:57:46 That means the Raiders possess the football less than 18 minutes. It's It's almost as if the Raiders is not an NFL team. It's almost as if the Raiders don't belong in the field with the Kansas City Chiefs. Well, they didn't today. And then their best defensive player got hit in the knee and he went out, Max Grosby.
Starting point is 00:58:11 Damn, man. The Chiefs look good. Patrick Mahomes looked good. You know, Patrick Mahomes out there throwing no look passes. You see him and Juju on his, a guy come. He's dumping the Juju right now. they go get first down. Hollywood Brown is, hey, cross the guy's face.
Starting point is 00:58:28 I'm going to hit you in the end zone. You'll get your cheek touchdown. But they're looking good. And when they're looking like this and the defense is playing like they're playing, Ocho? It's so funny. When the chief started over two,
Starting point is 00:58:41 everybody has something to say. Yeah. They look bad offensively. They look bad on defense. This ain't working. This ain't work. And now look. four weeks later
Starting point is 00:58:53 looking like the Kansas City Chiefs of old everybody back healthy now they're having fun you hit the nail on the head they got everybody back healthy I mean think about it you got Rashid Rice back
Starting point is 00:59:07 who's your number one Xavier Worthy who stepped up in the absence and he grew you get Tyquan Thornton who all of a sudden he looks like okay now I see why the Patriots took him in the second round yeah he can run but he can play
Starting point is 00:59:21 Now, he's not going to get the same opportunity that he got before because of Rashid Rice is back. But Juju is all reliable. You know, they're going to throw up, they're going to, hey, they're going to put running smoke screen, jail break screen, they're going to run. They can do a lot of different things with Juju. 24, he's a running back and the receiver.
Starting point is 00:59:44 He can do a lot of different things. Patrick Mahomes is Patrick Mahomes. You know, he's scrambling and make plays. But the thing is, he's not turning the ball over. When he takes care of the football, the Chiefs are almost impossible for you to beat them if they don't turn the football over.
Starting point is 00:59:59 And he's done a great job of that. He looked, 14 touchdowns, two interceptions. He's starting to look like the Patrick Mahomes that we're used to see. Ocho, in the game before that, the Lions beat the bucks 24 to 9. Jemir Gibbs, 218 yards from scrimmage.
Starting point is 01:00:20 He had 17 carries a buck, 30, he had 82 yards on three catches. Ocho, they had that combo block. You see that was the guard to tackle? They did a combo block. Moved that D.N. out of the way. Got up on that backer. And when he hit that whole, I said, bro, I feel, I felt
Starting point is 01:00:39 bad for Winfield Jr. Because they're like, bro, that man got a head of speaking. He might well stop running. You better, hey, he should have just started taking up, try to run it, and try to intercept him at the 5. He took an angle. angle ain't matter. Listen, Jemir Gibbs is probably the closest thing we have to Chris Johnson. He's probably the closest thing we have to Chris Johnson right now in the NFL at the running
Starting point is 01:01:01 back position. He doesn't get talked about enough. We talk about B. John. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He got that kind of speed. Yes, he got that kind of speed, Ocho. He looked fast. You show, he sure does. But you can't let a guy with that kind of speed, Ocho, come to the line of scrimmage on. Once he gets past this. You don't make him check his feet? Listen, sometimes even if you make him check his feet he still might get you true true but but without checking his feet you got no chance at all at all it he did you got to think about it he didn't get touched right through that clean and it's hey hold on that's like it's like we said by dering henry you got to make him check his feet because if you let him get a run and start coming down here hell no don't nobody
Starting point is 01:01:47 want to tackle him who i'm gonna make a business decision i'm here every every every every shoe lace he got. I'm going to let him get past me and jump on his back. Hey, hell no, you ain't fit to knock me out. Hell no. 24 to 9, Detroit goal to 5 and 2. Tampa falls to 5 and 2. Jerry golf was 20 or 29, 241,
Starting point is 01:02:09 1-10s down, one in a session, was sack four times. Me, I don't think either quarterback paid particular well. I thought Baker had the worst of the two nights because he was howled a lot of throws. He missed Bucca twice for touchdowns. He had Ibuka once and hit the D.B. And then he had another one that he wasn't able to step into it.
Starting point is 01:02:29 He undershot him on that one. But I thought he was high. He missed a lot of throws. He had a lot of guys open on Joe. He was high tonight for some reason. I don't know if the pressure got to him or what the case was, but he was high on a lot of throws tonight. They didn't run the ball particularly well.
Starting point is 01:02:46 They didn't have a whole lot of rush attempts. 12 carries for 41 yards. Baker threw it 50 times because they fell behind. They were down 14 to 3. And then Jerry Golf had that turnover. But Detroit defense is playing unbelievable. Hey, they got to give Kelvin Shepard his flowers.
Starting point is 01:03:08 They got to give Kelvin Shepard his flowers. Not only did he call one hell of a game, right? Understand all the injuries that they have right now. The whole back end is gone. Damn near. Yeah. Carrey Joseph, Brian Robinson, Armstead.
Starting point is 01:03:23 I mean, Arnold, excuse me, Arnold, not Armstrong, Arnold. Brian Branch. Terry and out. Oh, Brian Branch. Uh, no, Carrie Robb. Carrie, what's Carrie Joseph?
Starting point is 01:03:35 Kirby, Joseph. He's, yeah. Kirby. No, it's Kit. Yeah, Kirby. Kirby Joseph. Hey. Arnold.
Starting point is 01:03:42 So they got three starters out in the secondary. And those guys that came in. Oh, sure, they played the ass. was ball in, balling. They played their ass off. Hallett eight tackles. What you call it was being his disruptive self, Hutchinson? He didn't have a sack, but he caught a.
Starting point is 01:04:05 Hutch, Hutch nice, nah. Hutz nice. Yeah. Wheat had a sack and a half. Barnes had a sack. Jack Campbell had a sack. The office didn't look like itself, though, today, You know, it ain't looking like itself.
Starting point is 01:04:19 No. And obviously, you're going against the Tampa Bay defense. They ain't no slouch either. They ain't no slouch either. So I think that's why it almost look, I hate using the word human. But most of the time, we watch the Lions offense, they do things that are different from everybody else. They take chances that other teams definitely wouldn't take going forth for fourth and four, going forward for fourth and two. I mean, they put a lot of pressure on you.
Starting point is 01:04:47 You can't relax, so Joe. Exactly. Exactly. And see, that's the thing. They look normal tonight. With the Lions, it's really four downs. Because a lot of teams, you're like, okay, we get the third eight. Let's get off the field on third down. Nah, there's a great chance.
Starting point is 01:05:03 You're probably going to have to stay on the field. If it's fourth and four or less, depending on where they're, first of all, if it's fourth and one and they're near midfield, they're going for. If it's, if they're on the other side of midfield, and if it's probably fourth and three of us. That's four down territory. They're going forward. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:19 They put a lot of, they put a lot of damn pressure on you. And it's hard to stay focused because they're so creative. They do a lot of things. Hey, man, you started swing that ball to Jemir Gibbs and Panay Suh was out there running. Hey, Panay was moving up.
Starting point is 01:05:34 Yes. I'm like, wait a minute. Look at Buddy. Yeah. I'm glad Winfield dodged him. Because he running that fast. He'd hit somebody. He'd hurt somebody, man.
Starting point is 01:05:45 Almond Ross St. Brown was Armand Ross St. Brown. He had six catches, 86 yards, the touchdown. Gives with 3.582. Gives, again, 17 carries, a buck 36, two touchdowns. He, I don't know. Look, we talk about these backs,
Starting point is 01:06:05 and there's some great backs, but right now, Gibbs, Bishon Robinson, and Jonathan Taylor, they're the top three backs currently playing in the NFL. Absolutely. You know what? I hate the fact that we have to leave Sequan off that list, but I think at some point
Starting point is 01:06:21 is it. Oh, we got to. As the season goes on, I think things will open up. He just has to continue to be patient, keep on chugging. You know, those runs are going to come because as you start to have success in the past, maybe, just maybe,
Starting point is 01:06:37 defenses say, okay, you know what, we're not going to make Jay. We're not going to allow Jaylandhurst to beat us. Since Seikon hasn't had any success so far this season. Let's see if you can still do what he did last season. The Seahawks take down the Texans, 2719, J.S.N, Jackson, Smith, and Jigba.
Starting point is 01:07:01 And the Seahawks' defense were sensational. And Texans' offense at many points in time tonight, Ocho, look, and up. C.J. Stroud, look, you're going to see, had decent numbers, but it was late in the ballgame. when they need a meaningful third down conversion, when they needed meaningful first, fourth down conversion, when they needed to get the ball into the end zone,
Starting point is 01:07:23 they came up, came up really short. Sam Darnel was awful tonight. They won the game, but he was awful. Two terrible picks, got stripped sacked in the end zone, almost got locked for another safety. Let's start from, let's take it from, go ahead and take it to start from Seattle. Seattle won the game.
Starting point is 01:07:42 They're five and two. if I'm not mistaken, I think they're tied with the 49ers for the number one in the division at 5 and 2, followed by the Rams. But also, that deep,
Starting point is 01:07:56 Seattle's defense. They're very disruptive. Okay. So all the Rams, Niners, and Seahawks are all 5 and 2. Obviously, the Cardinals are not 5 and 2. Jackson,
Starting point is 01:08:13 Smith and Jigba. Look, we can say all I know is this. You can rank him where you want to, but I don't believe he's going to be there very much longer. He is the best route. Hey, he can do it all.
Starting point is 01:08:27 That release, he got the release game. He quicker the cat on a marble table. Get great hands. Man, he's special. He's special. He's special. And they got a lot of guys that come out of Ohio State. They got a Lave and they got Garibald and they got Michael.
Starting point is 01:08:46 They got a Marvin Harrison Jr. And they got J-Mo with that kid there. He's nice. He's nice. He's everything that is advertised. Everything. Listen, he's always been. You understand.
Starting point is 01:09:00 Now you understand how good he is when the team was willing to let D.K. McCaff go and let Ty Locker go because they understood what they had on their hands. they understood what they had on their hands he's very good very good very shot very polished receiver Cooper Cup threw one pick Sam Donald had one pick Cooper Cup threw the pick
Starting point is 01:09:20 the over through the DB over through the receiver and got it picked but Sam Donald still was awful even with the one pick and the strip sack in the end zone you know what you know honestly
Starting point is 01:09:32 Sam Donald they have a game like this because it took for him to get the week seven to have this type of game where it looked nasty and it needed the defense to Satan because the defense said it looked like the Houston, Texans, especially in the first half, it looked like they didn't even belong in the goddamn game. They couldn't get anything going offensively.
Starting point is 01:09:51 They couldn't find any rhythm. C. Day Stroud was flushed out of the pocket. He was flushed up in the pocket. He had some drops as well. So, I mean, it didn't help them. It was 24. It was, no, that was, that was, that was Nico Collins. I had one question.
Starting point is 01:10:10 What happened with Joe Mixing? He hurt. They see. He didn't with an injury from, still from last year. He's supposed to come back after week four, if I'm not mistaken.
Starting point is 01:10:22 Nah. I think that's one of the reason why they ended up signing the Chubb. The Chubb because of that. But see, this is what's concerning because we saw this last year
Starting point is 01:10:36 with Sam Donald. Remember? late in the season, when they started playing, when they got, they had to play Detroit, and they had to play teams with defenses. And we see what happened. That concern, look, their defense is going to keep them in every game. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:10:50 Their defense is going to keep them in every game, because they're that good. Now, when they get Witherspoon back, but that D-Line, that front seven, hey, Leonard Williams, Ernest Jones, DeFourne. Leonard William, hey, they're the real deal. How close, how close do you think,
Starting point is 01:11:08 They are, well, no. That's kind of open. I think the Rams is the best team in that division. Okay. Me personally. Because they're their offense. But if, if we're, their defense is good too now.
Starting point is 01:11:19 Don't sleep on their defense. Are they as good as, are they as good as the Seahawks? But let me ask you a question. Is the Seahawks offense as good as the Rams? Absolutely not. Expect it. Because remember that they did what they did to Jacksonville without Pooker. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:35 They can run it with Kyron Williams. I think the. Ram's running game is a little better than the Seahawks. Let's just say for the sake of argument, I think they're passing game. I definitely know the quarterback is better. Matthew Stafford is better than Sam Darnal. Now, you're going to go wide receiver.
Starting point is 01:11:51 You say Pooka, Devonte Adams, Higby. Are they as good in Seattle's Reed? Right. Yes, yes, absolutely. Absolutely. So I'll give them, I'll give them the nod. They can rush the passer with those two guys on the edge. They're good
Starting point is 01:12:07 They're really good You got to forget Now we Seattle does have a triple crown Winner that we're just on that Ram team not too long ago Yeah Yeah but
Starting point is 01:12:17 Ocho He ain't the same Ocho you know that You watch it Wait a minute Wait a minute Okay even if he's not the same There's certain players
Starting point is 01:12:25 They're 100% Or them being at 80 It's sometimes better than other players That are at 100% Of course he's not Now when you're looking not when you're looking at the Rams. So let me ask you a question.
Starting point is 01:12:37 Is he better than DeBonte? Absolutely not. Okay. Is he better than Puka? No. Okay. So what do we do? So if he's their number,
Starting point is 01:12:47 if he's their number two receiver, Pooker's number one, he's number two. Now, if you want to say, JSCN and Pooker right there neck and neck because Pooka's made the Pro Bowl, Pooka, a hundred catchy guy, back-to-back season, if I'm not mistaken. So we know what Pooka is.
Starting point is 01:13:04 JSN is special. He really, I mean, this is really my first time just getting an opportunity to sit down and just watch him. Ain't no other games on because, Ocho, you know, I'm trying to watch Seattle, and I'm trying to watch this team, and I'm trying to watch that team. But I'm talking about he had my undivided attention, and I'm watching his releases,
Starting point is 01:13:22 and I'm watching him get in and out of breaks. He's nice. Oh, he's quicker the cattle in the hot tub. Hey, you know, you know, he was down. He came out here to a wide receiver workshop. So I was there. Yeah, I was able to see it up close. and obviously he got feet on him
Starting point is 01:13:36 he got some good feet on him he got some real good feet on him it's one thing you think is you hear about players and you think oh he come from Ohio State so he just hype up those individuals but he is everything he's advertised to be especially when you get to see it up close in person
Starting point is 01:13:51 and then you see it happen tonight obviously not just the night but obviously the throughout the entirety of the season so it gives you a better understanding oh now I get it now I see it with all the hype for. Now I see why it was so easy for them to let D.K. McCab
Starting point is 01:14:08 go. Let Tyler Lacken go. Because they understood what they had on their hands. They got something special. Oh, he's the real deal, Lochow. He is the real deal. And, you know, hey, after next season, they're going to have to come seeing. He's going to probably be, he's going to,
Starting point is 01:14:25 A, he's going to look to get that high 30. He's going to be in the high 30s, 40 million. I don't know how, because here's the thing. That contract, by the time he gets, his contract, that contract to be almost three years old. You can't keep saying, well, no, no, no, no. We keep driving that. We keep driving that price up.
Starting point is 01:14:42 We're not going to just, hey, we're not just going to get slotted. Oh, Chase, oh, no. Chase was the best. He got that money three years ago. Now it's time for us to pole vault, even if we're not. But man, that joke of that, man. He is so quick, oh, Joe.
Starting point is 01:14:58 Damn, in and out of the brakes. And he's so smooth. He's more quick than fast. He's not. he's so goddamn quick and he's able to manipulate dbs but you didn't see that you didn't see that uh that uh i saw that release he faked him inside
Starting point is 01:15:14 and he got outside on it i'm talking about the dina route on um on stingly oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah but the thing but the thing you go joe perfect a perfect throw a beat perfect coverage you can't throw you can't play it anymore better than that because I got to honor, I got to honor that for the simple fact, no, Joe,
Starting point is 01:15:36 is that he could possibly run the seven route on me. So I just can't sell out to the post. Ain't, ain't nobody in the hole. But if you look at it when Sam Darner threw that ball, he hadn't even broke yet. That ball was out of his head. Now, the only thing I will say,
Starting point is 01:15:55 Stingley gave up a seven route with a safety in the hole, bro, run to his hip. If you run, If you run the post, the safety should knock you out. I need to be doing this to the ambulance to come get you. But you're not fin to run no seven route and cover one on me. Because guess what? I ain't going for the post move because I got a safety in the hole.
Starting point is 01:16:19 I'm going to run to your hip. Because that's where I'm vulnerable. And guess what? Get them every time because you know what? Man, I'm going to get up in the undercut this seven route. I'm for an undercut. You see? They get so caught up.
Starting point is 01:16:31 Man, I'm a D-Up, Ocho. They get that, Ocho, you give them that head. Oh, I'm going to get this one. Bro, you got help there. You're weak over here. No need to cheat it. You get them every time. No need to cheat it.
Starting point is 01:16:48 But, man, I don't know what's it. Look, CJ's 23 or 49, 2.29, one touchdown, one interception. He was sacked three times. he was pressured relentlessly, dodged the bullet, he got strip sack, the guy fumbled the ball, that should have been a,
Starting point is 01:17:07 that should have been a, that was a fumble, but ended up turning into a touchdown. It should have been a touchdown. The offensive line, I don't know what they're doing. I don't, I mean, you look at them and sometimes
Starting point is 01:17:20 you got two guys blocking one guy and another guy running scot-free. Bro, pass that ish off. And don't turn your body. Just put a hand there. So you can see it's coming. Because once you do this, it's a rap. To try to turn back, that guy going to be on your shoulder so fast, man.
