Starting point is 00:02:59 But let's get you the game of the day. The Broncos beat the Dallas Cowboys by the score of 44 to 24. Cowboys defense reverted back to their old form, giving up his longest run of the year, a 40-yard touchdown run by number one overall draft pick, B.J. Harvey, first-round draft pick, not number one, first-round draft pick, and Bo Nix, Bo Tubs.
Starting point is 00:03:21 Dak Prescott threw two interceptions. The number one offense was held in check. The Cowboys have lost eight straight to the Denver Broncos. Tos tying the longest streak to a single opponent in franchise history. I tried to tell Ocho, oh, Chos, man, y'all ain't beat us since 95. We're going to beat, they go beat on this time. Who was us? Who was us?
Starting point is 00:03:41 I'm not, listen, I'm not a part of the Cowboys. I just felt with them being the number one offense, George Pick and Doody doing C.D. Lambs's back. You know, Williams running the way he's running the ball. I felt they had a good chance to win the game today. Now, obviously, I was wrong. That's a good thing about sports. Sometimes you're wrong. Sometimes you're right.
Starting point is 00:03:59 In this case, which is very seldom for me, is I was wrong. And listen, I apologize, you know, for those Broncos fans that in the chat, congratulations. Y'all won today. You said they, but what's the like, how many times if they play the defense like the Broncos? Where they got them guys on the edge, especially Sartan. Think about it. We beat you, we beat them. Sartan went out.
Starting point is 00:04:28 Trey Greenlaw didn't even play. Yeah, he heard his shoulder. Yeah, he showed it. Can you imagine? Because you know when he was in that it was getting Nathan? They wouldn't get anything. Y'all, y'all played a good game. Bo Nix, Bo Nix balled out.
Starting point is 00:04:42 Damn. Hey, Cortland Sutton had some really, really key catches, some really key catches. And it got to a point where the game just got out of reach. It got out of reach. It was out of reach when y'all walked into the stadium. That was out of reach. How many times did y'all stop us? Hold on, let me go look at this thing.
Starting point is 00:04:59 I want to see, uh, uh, how many times did y'all actually stop us? Matter of fact, I'm, I'm going to talk. Broncos, okay, they, they threw an interception, so y'all stopping them on the first run. And then it went touchdown, touchdown, punt, touchdown, end of half, field goal, touchdown, touchdown, punt, end of the game. Damn. If the Broncos turned it over, the first position, and then with touchdown, touch, I mean, Damn.
Starting point is 00:05:29 Hey, hold on, let me... Went through him like Sherman, went through Atlanta. Scorce. Hey, y'all play good, though, huh? I'm not even going to lie. Man, it's hard for me to argue. We are good. You're talking about we played good.
Starting point is 00:05:43 We got a good team. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Y'all got a good defense. Y'all got a good defense. And the offense, it goes as Boonex goes. If Bo Nix well, offensively, y'all going to be all right. And Bo Nix had him a day to day. Bo Nix had him a day-to-day
Starting point is 00:05:56 and the defense obviously showed up Pat went out I think he heard probably probably looked like maybe a pinch nerve or something Mm-hmm A pinch nerve Other than that
Starting point is 00:06:05 I think he's gonna be a right But them, them two The boys on the edge, boy But oh yeah Cooper and Bonito Allen Hey man Listen
Starting point is 00:06:14 Hey But them joke is nice boy Oh yeah We go Hey we get after you now Uh Bo Nix was 19 to 29 247, four touchdowns, one interception.
Starting point is 00:06:27 J.K. Dobbins had 15 rushes, 111 yards. RJ had, I say BJ, R.J. Harvey had 7 for 46. He had two touchdowns. And then Franklin, six for 89, two touchdowns. Cortland Sutton, four for 67.
Starting point is 00:06:42 Pat Bryant, two for 40, one touchdown. RJ Harvey had one catch for five yards of a touchdown. Whoa, they got eight. Let me see what that number would because, you know, what we do is. And if you got hopes of winning an MVP or winning some type of war, you come to mind how you're going to leave without it. 19 to 31, 188, two interceptions.
Starting point is 00:07:05 Remember the last three, that last three games, he had thrown three touchdowns and no interceptions. We got tired of hearing that. I'm tired of hearing it. Y'all don't get talked. Y'all won the game. Obviously, we understand how good different defense is. Did you understand that?
Starting point is 00:07:22 Because why would you pick them? Clearly, you didn't understand that. Hold on. Why did I pick the Cowboys to win? Yes. Because the offense has been on fire the past three weeks straight. They ain't played nobody. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:07:34 So you're saying the Broncos or somebody? Is the Broncos the team that teams are opposed to fear? Are you saying that their defense is like the 2,000 ravens? No, absolutely. No, they went to Philly, was down 18 to 3 and win the ball game. Remember last week? Hold on. 33 points in the four quarter.
Starting point is 00:07:54 And what's the key words that I just said? As Bowdo Nix goes, that is how the Broncos will go. Now, when we talk about that eight- That's how the team go. Huh? That's normal how the team go. Okay. The quarterback.
Starting point is 00:08:06 Okay. What about your team? We ain't talking about your team just yet. Dak Prescott through two interceptions, the number one offense. Hold on. Let me see how many yards the number one offense that you've been hyphen about. Oh, they've been playing good. Let me see what the numbers are.
Starting point is 00:08:19 I'm trying to. That's what I was looking for. I was sitting there trying to find. find the goddamn stats. You weren't trying to find those stats. You ain't looking hard enough because they're up there. Nine. Cowboys 188.
Starting point is 00:08:32 They ain't even have 300 yards of office, averaging four something. How many points the game? And they got a little cheap touchdown at the end. Yeah, but this is what you have to understand. This is we have to understand. Listen, even a squirrel get a nut, every blue moon, every so often. They're the number one offense for a reason. Sometimes, listen, this was a trap game.
Starting point is 00:08:50 This is the trap game. Woo! Us? You know what, we're going to let the Broncos had this one to build their confidence up a little bit, make them feel like they're really doing something. And the next week, what's going to happen? It's going to be right back to the old, oh, man, well, this is what happened and this is why we didn't win. We don't do that.
Starting point is 00:09:09 We don't do that. We don't play what we do. What we don't do is play down the competition. The standard is the standard. We're the Denver Broncos, three-time Super Bowl champs. That's who and what we are. Oh, okay. So the standard is the standard, right?
Starting point is 00:09:21 Standard is a standard. Okay, okay. Just a whole matter of fact, let me write that down. The standard is a standard. I want to make sure, I want to make sure when we come back next Sunday, I want to make sure the standard to steal the standard after that game. It will be. Man, my kids and took my pen and paper, man.
Starting point is 00:09:41 Got it, don't worry about it. And I can't believe you. You asked me, Ocho, now, this, chat, where was the last time y'all know Ocho to go on Sunday without tweeting? I ain't tweet today. Oh, because my internet wasn't working. I bet it wasn't. Yeah, my internet won't.
Starting point is 00:10:00 Ocho not tweeting. It's like cornflake without the milk. You know what I'm saying? Some page, just go together. Sunday, Ocho tweet. But this is the point. You have to understand it. I said it, I tweeted it out.
Starting point is 00:10:13 Obviously, I was using my neighbor's Wi-Fi. I'm using my neighbor's Wi-Fi right now. That's why I was able to come on Nycap. I tweeted you back and said, I wasn't going to be able to come on the show tonight because my Wi-Fi was down. The fiber optic system that they use all the wired over here, somebody cut grass
Starting point is 00:10:28 they cut a line. So when they cut a line like boom, it mess up. How you cut grass? How you hide the line on top of the ground? No, they went underneath. They went underneath. I don't know. Who cut grass underneath? Who got a bunker that got grow grass under the ground? Hey, listen, I don't know what it was. That's all for
Starting point is 00:10:44 suspicious. Doesn't it sound suspicious to you, chat? Yeah, it sounded suspicious to me when I heard. It sounds suspicious to me. I'm using my neighbor's Wi-Fi right now so I might go in and out, but just though I did everything I can to make sure I make sure I make sure tonight. That's why I look. Hey, how my camera look?
Starting point is 00:11:00 Because my camera ain't, my camera like kind of is good? Yeah, it looks good. It's you. Okay, okay, okay. I mean, you put your, hey, I was three and oh this weekend. You were three and a little. Ravens won, Broncos one.
Starting point is 00:11:17 Well, who was the 30s? You lost. Savannah State one homecoming Well hold on Who is the third Who I mean you Broncos one Ravens one
Starting point is 00:11:29 That's two Savannah State one That's three Bingo's lost Four and O Oh he come on that Wait a minute Hey you he and ha ha
Starting point is 00:11:40 The Dolphus won today What you're talking about? Whoa whoa whoa whoa The Dolphs won today I'm saying All the teams that I played for That Shannon's Sharp played for one.
Starting point is 00:11:51 The Guppies, you never played for the Guppies. Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. It doesn't matter who I played for. It's where I'm from. That's my home team. That's all I knew. That's what I grew up knowing until I got drafted. So therefore, I'm a doll fan first.
Starting point is 00:12:05 Before I knew anything about the Cincinnati Bengals, I was a dolphin. Guppies. Since 1968. And we won today. Did you see what we did to Atlanta? Let's talk about. I saw that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:16 Okay. Let's put some respect. Matter of fact, hold on. Chad, he hurt by that, chat. He hurt by that, chat. He hurt by that. Let's put some respect on my quarterback. Oh, Joe, this is the only one I see right here.
Starting point is 00:12:44 Hey, hey, hey, put some respect on my quarterback, too. Hey, listen, we were doing all that, you know, that tongue glashing and saying that, you know, it was up and he needed to go and they need to fire Mike McDaniel and this, even I was a culprit. Even me, someone who's always been nice and trying to find excuse for people, even I was critical. But after the day, two of the future, two of the future of the Miami Dawson franchise. Now, they can clean house everywhere else, but as long as Uno is there, we're going to be all right based on what I saw today. Now, let's talk. Bubble gum, bubble gum, pop, pop. Bubble gum, bubble gum, pop.
Starting point is 00:13:24 My team, my team, on top. Your team, your team, a flop. Yay! Hey! Hey, you just made that up just now? That was the cheer we had, I cheerily did that when we were in high school. All that.
Starting point is 00:13:46 Now, you know, we ain't bad and we ain't cocky? Yeah. Ride on you like a carwasaki. Hey, wait, hey. But we're, hey, we were bad. In the heat of battle, your squad relies on you. Don't let them down. Unlock elite gaming tech at Lenovo.com.

What does a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich reveal about the economy? Our breakfast foods are consistent consumer staples, and so they sort of become outsize indicators of inflation. What's behind Elon Musk's trillion dollar payout? There's a sort of concerted effort to message that Musk is coming back. He's putting politics aside. He's left the White House.
Starting point is 00:15:04 And what can the PCE tell you that the CPI can't? CPI tries to measure out-of-pocket costs that consumers are paying for things, whereas the PCE, index that the Fed targets is a little bit broader of a measure. If you want insight that goes beyond the box score, this podcast is for you don't miss it listen to the move the six podcast on the i heart radio app apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts oh joe oh joe stevens turned the ball over in the second
Starting point is 00:18:01 half once um fumbled by game well rogers was sack twice the pressure was relentless all night they flushed him out of the pocket and the jordan love had 360 passing yards as they take down, as they take down the, the Steelers, 35, 25. As you can see, 360 pass a yard, three touchdowns, no interceptions, 94 rush yards. It was a complete team effort. You know, Brandon McManus, missed two field goals, that long with that 57, maybe just a tad out of his range, but there's no excuse for the other one.
Starting point is 00:18:34 He just, he shanked that thing really, really bad. Yeah. Ocho, what did you like about what you saw from the Green Bay Packers tonight? Listen, the Packers look good. Obviously, I thought the first half, I thought the Steelers were going to run away with the game. I honestly thought the seasons were going to run away with the game the way it was a defensive game in the first half. The Packers, I don't know what the hell. Coach told him at halftime came out on goddamn fire.
Starting point is 00:18:58 Not only defense, but hell, on goddamn offense too. They scored on the first five possessions in the second half. Now I'm not sure what happened to the Steelers defense, but you got people on that back end that you pay. a really good money, top quality money simply to be able to stop the goddamn pass. They got Tucker Kraft at there looking like he got them... It was National Tide End Day to Ocho.
Starting point is 00:19:22 Huh? It was National Tide End Day. Oh, is that what it was? That's what today was. Tucker Kraft showed out the night on National Tidens Day. He had one hell of a goddamn day. Jordan Love did what Jordan Love does.
Starting point is 00:19:36 But again, once they came out of halftime and the Steelers couldn't do anything defensively to stop them. It was going to be a long night. Now, the first half, the first half is good. That was some good football on both sides of the ball from both teams. And, I mean, listen, the Packers came out at the half and Steelers couldn't do nothing with him on offense. They couldn't stop them at all.
Starting point is 00:19:57 Yeah, Jordan Love, 29 and 37, 360, three touchdowns, no interceptions, no sacks, no turnovers. Josh Jacob had the only rush touchdown. As you mentioned, Ocho, Tucker Carson. and 7 for 143, two touchdown. He was sensational. Kristen Watson, his first game back, four for 85. Romeo Dobbs had three for 44.
Starting point is 00:20:18 Malique Heath had three for 29. They played really well. And I agree with you, Ocho. The Steelers got, you know, they got, you look at what they have defensively. They make the trade for J. Ram. They have Joey Porter, Jr., who's a second round draft pick, a lockdown guy. You look at Highsmith, and you look at White, and you look at Cal. I'm Hayward.
Starting point is 00:20:39 Gary a Slate. Yeah, but you can't let them go up and down to field like that. You can't. Not in your building? You can't. And not with that kind of talent. We're not just talking about anybody. We talk about some of the greats that have played this game for a long time
Starting point is 00:20:58 that bring your veteran presence where things that you want to do on defense, it should be much easier because of the level of skill and talent that they do have. But it just didn't look like it did. It just didn't look like that tonight. You did look like that tonight, huh? Which is... Come on, man. And it looked like that.
Starting point is 00:21:15 I'm agreeing with you. It didn't look like that tonight that all that talent that they have defensively. You don't have to do them in on the jacket. What I'm doing? I saw her. Hey, we get that jacket.
Starting point is 00:21:28 That's from Zara. Hey, chat, am I doing too much? Chad, I want you all to be honest with me. Is this too much? I know this too much? I know the one thing about the chat. Let me see what the chat say. Because the chat going to be honest with me.
Starting point is 00:21:56 The chat all went like, you're doing too much, you know, slow down. You, hey, stalling out. Don't do Ocho like that. Chad, I know y'all going to be honest with me. So y'all can be honest, is this too much? is the blazer, the phone figure, and the T-shirt.
Starting point is 00:22:11 Is that too much, chat? You feel like, you feeling good tonight, huh? No, Ocho, I try to tell you about this. I told you that we're going to happen. You're going to go to happen. You're going to do something. I told you, I said, we're going to do something bad to the Cowboys. I say, and the Jets is going to get you off.
Starting point is 00:22:24 I try to tell you that. But you ain't want to hear me. I'll just go here and sit this down right here. Listen, you didn't know the Jess was going to do that today. I did. No, but nobody, nobody expected to just to win that game. Nobody did. No, you didn't.
Starting point is 00:22:37 No, he didn't. No, he didn't. I'm sure. I'm sure. Put your finger down, man. Why he won't put his finger? He won't put his finger down, man. Come on, bro.
Starting point is 00:22:50 It's all, it's all good. It's all good. I was surprised. Oh, Joe, I was surprised with how well Green Bay moved the ball in the second half. Yeah. Now, they have a lot of drive that they stalled themselves out. in the first half. And then they missed two,
Starting point is 00:23:07 they missed two field goals. Like I said, maybe the 57 yards were, 57 yarder was a tad outside of McManus's reign. Excuse me, just a, but that second half
Starting point is 00:23:17 was a complete domination by the, by the Packers. They looked good. That front, they got after Michael Parsons, they were getting chipped. And I told you,
Starting point is 00:23:29 I said the beneficiary of Michael Parsons coming over there is going to be Rishon Gary. On Gary, yeah. Because you're going to have, look, and after he had that three sack performance last week, he had four, but they took it back because of a hit drop tackle. I knew that they were going to play extra close attention to Micah. And so now Rishon Garry is getting a lot of one-on-one. So I already knew that the beneficiary of this trade was going to be Rishan Gary.
Starting point is 00:23:54 And so now you got two guys streaming up there outside that can rush with power, that can rush with speed. They do a great job of getting off the ball. and they were relentless last tonight. Now, I don't think the secondary is that great, so they're going to have to get off the ball like that. They're going to have to apply pressure, Ocho, because they don't have shut down guys in the secondary. They have okay, they have decent guys,
Starting point is 00:24:18 but as long as they can continue to generate the pressure that they're generating, they're going to be just fine. They're going to be just fine playing it the way they played. But I thought offensively, Jordan Love, man, if you didn't know Aaron Rogers actually played there, I mean, look at the throes that he's making off his back foot. Look at it as he's throwing across his body. His mannerisms remind you,
Starting point is 00:24:40 and I'm not saying he's going to beat Aaron Rogers. I'm not going to say he's going to win for MVP, but I'm saying if you look at a lot of his mannerisms, you look at a lot of his arm slots, the way he throws the ball off his wrong foot, off his back foot. Quick, quick release. Yeah, yeah. The sidearm, the, he's really good.
Starting point is 00:24:59 You can tell, you can tell he's obviously studied Aaron. Studied and watched, yes. Yeah, he studied and watch him. And some of the stuff he's doing, he wasn't doing it in college. It has to be somewhere. So obviously, this is why I say at times, sometimes it's good for quarterbacks
Starting point is 00:25:12 when you're coming as a rookie, depending on who the starter is, to sit back, relax, take it all in, and learn from whoever it is that's sitting in front of you. And then when your time comes, then you look exactly how Jordan Loves looks. Some of the best quarterbacks didn't start.
Starting point is 00:25:28 I mean, you look at, obviously, Brady didn't start. Patrick Mahomes didn't start. Josh Allen, I don't think Josh Allen started his first game. He didn't. We could look that up. I don't think he did. I think, but once he got in, he didn't look back. But I thought the Packers are going to look.
Starting point is 00:25:49 That's the Packer, that's a tough division. Well, I think it's a two-team division. The quarterback played, the quarterback play in Minnesota and in Chicago is not as nearly, is not as consistent as it needs to be to be able to keep up with those other two teams, Detroit and Green Bay. I think Green Bay and Detroit obviously are the class of that division. I just don't think Carson Wins and Caleb Williams give you consistent play week in and week out, down in and down out, to really challenge these teams.
Starting point is 00:26:19 I look, it's intra-division, so anything can happen. We know anything can happen within a division, but me, I just don't think the quarterback play is nearly consistent enough. but I was very impressed with the Packers going on the road, knowing how much this game meant to Aaron Rogers. And normally when you play a team, Ocho, that you played there, your team comes back and, you know, they can pick you up. They want to make sure you win that game.
Starting point is 00:26:47 Oh, God. I ain't even know I had this T-shirt on up in here, Ocho. Is that too much? Hold on, hold on. Let me get me with jacket off. Oh, hey, you had it now. Yeah, it's hot now here. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:00 Hold on, look at my look, hey. Y'all see the inside? Y'all like the inside? What did I say? What the men? Broncos, them low-hold? All the Bronco logos, all the logos. This was the first logo they had like in the 60s.
Starting point is 00:27:12 Yeah. This was, I think this was like 608. This was the first one. This was the second one. The third one. This is the fourth one. You know. And you know, a little something that, the Broncos,
Starting point is 00:27:23 this is what they give the Ring of Fame, honorees. All three, all four, the logos. Orange jacket. Y'all get one of these, Ocho? Huh? Yeah, I got one. Yeah, and listen, you got the Bronco logos.
Starting point is 00:27:38 Mine got, you know, all the stripes, all the Tiger Stripes. I ain't see that jacket. I ain't see you with no jacket on when you went in the ring of fame two years ago. Yeah, we had it. All we got all got the same jackets. I ain't see it. I just said I didn't see it, Ocho. I got anything else over there?
Starting point is 00:27:53 I'm aware. I'm aware. Take it. I think I got one in there. Take it out. See it. Now, you can. You ain't got to show us no more stuff.
Starting point is 00:28:01 We know, we know y'all won me. I got a few things. We know, we know y'all won today. We know. No, I got another one that. Oh, real. Just close it up, yeah. Damn.
Starting point is 00:28:20 Yeah. That's that even, yeah. Oh, Joe. See? See my bowling bag? What's that? Bowling bag. You don't even bowl.
Starting point is 00:28:30 Now, I don't bowl. Let me see. Hold on. Hey, told you, I got to keep my shoes in here. I better never catch you in the alley. That's what I'm saying. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait, hey, listen, I bowed two-way to a better.
Starting point is 00:28:42 Who shoes in me is? Damn, my bowling bags or one would assume made my shoes. Hey, them shoes brand new still. You don't bowl, man. Don't do that. Don't do that, don't do that. Listen, one thing about it, you're not a bowler. You might be a lot of things.
Starting point is 00:28:58 How are you going to bowl and your hips don't work? they work you're fine hey you have to say it they work fine and you know when you bowl you got to get low they show they know they know what's that that's an eight-pound ball I make a look like that don't it
Starting point is 00:29:20 I got a couple of more in there ah y'all don't want to take Waterway William Jr Hey, Unk, you know you can't bowl You walk around with eight-pound balls Boy, these ain't no eight-pound balls He's 16-pound balls
Starting point is 00:29:37 Huh? Now, you ain't no bowler, man. Ocho, what? Come on, Ocho, that ain't like you, man. Hey, talk to me. I'm not trying to be no head. What's your best go? What's your best score on the alley?
Starting point is 00:29:46 I told, uh, I think my best go like $2.20. That's it? That's it. Man, my daughter bowled 220. I beat you. Nah, no. You know what? Hey, uh.
Starting point is 00:29:59 He didn't like that. Nathan Peterman started Week 1 of 2018 versus the Ravens before Josh Allen came in in the third quarter and he didn't look back so
Starting point is 00:30:10 Oh, hey, Nathan Peterman was bad, huh? Oh, yeah, he was a bird I mean, Peter, hey, they're out there petering. Was that the game? He threw like five picks or was he in Sandy?
Starting point is 00:30:21 Was he in the Chargers when he had that terrible game, Ash? Because he had one game, he had like five picks, a fumble. Yeah, I remember that. I remember that. Yeah, he was good. In the heat of battle, your squad relies on you. Don't let them down.

A shutdown means we don't get the data, but it also means for President Trump that there's no chance of bad news on the labor market.
Starting point is 00:31:17 What does a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich reveal about the economy? Our breakfast foods are consistent consumer staples, and so they sort of become outsize indicators of inflation. What's behind Elon Musk's trillion-dollar payout? There's a sort of concerted effort to message that Musk is coming back. He's putting politics aside. He's left the White House. And what can the PCE tell you that the CPI can't? CPI tries to measure out-of-pocket costs that consumers are paying for things,
Starting point is 00:31:48 whereas the PCE index that the Fed targets is a little bit broader of a measure. The Chiefs use a dominant second half to pull away from the commanders by the score of 28 to 7. Patrick Mahomes tosses three touchdown passes in the second half, as you can see the numbers right there. And they win comfortably 28 to 7.
Starting point is 00:34:50 You know, watching this game on show, I just thought the commander's squander to two million opportunities in the first half. They had an opportunity and the ball hits Deboe in the face and Mike Dana intercepts it and they come up short on a fourth down where he tosses out of bounds. But I thought they had some really good opportunities in the first half to really apply some pressure. It was doing a great job of getting the ball out quick. I thought Marcus Marriota did a great job, you know, and Cliff Kingsbury did a great job
Starting point is 00:35:17 of putting them in situations where they could get the ball light quick, a lot of misdirection, use mariotta's legs a little bit but when you're on the road and you don't take advantage of opportunities when they're presented for you when a team gets their rhythm especially at their home they're probably going to pull away for you
Starting point is 00:35:34 from you and you know you saw a very uncharacteristic some turnovers if you notice that route was a terrible route by Hollywood Brown oh Joe how are you in the slot you already got leverage on it how do you take two steps and stop
Starting point is 00:35:46 and start looking back for the ball you know you hey even Mahal went to the sideline and you notice he disappeared after that, didn't he? Oh, yeah. Yes. Absolutely. Absolutely. Listen, it all come down to being sharp, being sharp and precise regards to what routes you run. And you always have to be state friendly to your quarterback and understand, you know, how to not only get open, but continue to create separation to be able to catch any and everything. You know, for Hollywood, as long as he's been playing the game of football, you know better than that. yeah you can't run the right like that
Starting point is 00:36:21 you got to put pressure on the deep you got to make him think you're going deep so he's going to want to get on top of you if you start back oncho if you take three steps and you're looking for the ball you don't run no go rot like that who runs a go route like that
Starting point is 00:36:33 you're not you're not fooling nobody you're not going to fool nobody like that no and uh you know I'm sure that was a situation and then he hits trabb in the head with the ball and it pops up in there and uh be waggs end up picking that off
Starting point is 00:36:47 but I thought once he got it going guys made play for him. He did a great job of using his legs sometimes to run his way out of harm's way and sometimes to buy time. You see him hit Rashid Rice on a couple of plays like that. He found for a touchdown,
Starting point is 00:37:02 the running back for a touchdown. You see him for a trav. He hit trav a couple of times after using his legs to buy time. But I thought overall, once they got it going in the second half, they had drives of what, 90 plus yards, 80 yards, 70 yards,
Starting point is 00:37:16 and it really broke the ball game open. Because for the first half, Ocho, I thought the commander's defense did a great job on him. Listen, they did a phenomenal job on them. Listen, whether they played zone or whether they played man. They added pressure and they played a really good game. The one thing I don't like about the first half of the commanders, and the chiefs are one of the few teams that when they turn the ball over, commanders have to capitalize.
Starting point is 00:37:41 You got to make them pay. You got to make them pay because at whatever point, the chiefs catch that momentum and find their rhythm, you want to. to stretch that lead as far as possible to make the game a little easier, make a little more difficult for them to almost into a point to a sense on you got to make them damn near one-dimensional where they don't have a truck to throw to get themselves back in the game. Right. But the game was too close.
Starting point is 00:38:05 Once they caught fire and my home started processing that information a little faster or y'all playing zone, well, hell, I'm going to be surgical. Yeah. Or find every hole. Because every time there's the defense of play called, there's always a hole in my home. knew exactly where to go with the ball every goddamn time. Those plays where the defense actually called the right play, okay, you got me this time, but I'm going to beat you with my legs.
Starting point is 00:38:27 Then he goes beat you with his goddamn legs. I think, and you're right about that, especially when you're on the road. When you're on the road, you try to keep the crowd out of the game as long as you possibly can. As long as they're not cheering, as long as they're sitting on the hand at the edge of their seat and they're nervous, you're winning.
Starting point is 00:38:44 But when you get those opportunities, because the momentum is going to swing. If you look at the first half, the commanders had the momentum. Now, what happened is that in the second half, the Chiefs got the momentum. And when they got the momentum, it went 14, it went 14-7, 21-7, 28-7, and the blink of a night, and the game's over. Hey, it was a rap. And they would, where they scored, what, three straight possessions?
Starting point is 00:39:07 Three-street possessions. And then they ran the ball, you know, ran the clock down, laying the box, or they could have, like, you know, I'm surprised they didn't, you know. But I just thought they did a great. job. They were really, really balanced, Docho. You look at it. Targets, Travis Kelsey had eight targets. Rashid Rice had nine targets. Zabia
Starting point is 00:39:25 Worth, they had seven targets, and you have six catches, nine catches, five catches. So you saw what they was doing. He bought time and found juju on a couple of routes. He found time, about time with his legs and found a Kareem Hunt in the end zone with his legs. He's done a great job as he's gotten older.
Starting point is 00:39:41 He's doing more and more with his legs. He will run. But he's really looking to buy time. and hope somebody comes open. And that's what makes him so dangerous. You don't want to listen because he will come out of the, he will jump out the window on you and take off running, but he will,
Starting point is 00:39:59 but he's also looking. He's constantly trying to process information. Can I throw this ball over their head? Is there a gap somewhere I can fit this ball in to get me 10, 15, 20 yards down the field and pick up a first down? But I thought they ran the ball well. You look at Kareem Hunt and Isaiah Pacheco, what they did,
Starting point is 00:40:17 running the football, 12 carries 58 yards, nine carries 40 yards. Mahomes had four carriers for 30 yards. 30 rush attempts, 148 yards. So basically almost five yards of carry. That's good enough to win. Very balanced. Mahomes had 299 yards passing.
Starting point is 00:40:35 Three touchdowns, two interceptions. He was sat three times. I thought Martin did a great job of putting pressure on him. They did a great job of forcing him out of the pockets, but when you get there, you got to get him on the ground. I don't know what that last X. I don't know what he was. He saw Mahomes gave himself up,
Starting point is 00:40:51 and then you're still going to throw him down right there in front of the referee, and you don't think he's going to throw a flag? That's frustration. That's all frustration. That's all frustration at that point. And y'all obviously, okay, I can't hit him all game. We haven't been able to get to him all game. He's been getting out the pocket, extending plays.
Starting point is 00:41:10 You know what? I finally got a hold of him. I'm going to give him a little extra. I'm going to give him that extra, just to let him know I'm here. it didn't matter at that point. No. And when you look at Locho, I think they didn't run the ball nearly as much as they needed to. Because now all of a sudden, the pressure started to get into Mariotta.
Starting point is 00:41:31 He had eight rushes, 28 yards. Kroski Merritt had nine for 25 yards. That's not enough. And it looks like a McLaur might have nicked that groan to that hamstring again because he ended up coming out. I thought he made some great plays. Hell, I thought Debo was a catch. right there at the pylon. And then I was looking at it like, man,
Starting point is 00:41:50 that's a catch by McLaurin in the end zone. That was a touchdown. Now, I don't necessarily know if I was an official Ocho, I would have overruled because I couldn't see that right leg, the inside leg, did it hit down out of bounds. He did get the elbow down. And you look at the left leg, the left leg didn't come down. But where was that right leg?
Starting point is 00:42:07 There was never a clear view of where I could see what is right, what his right leg was doing. So I probably wouldn't overruled it. But even in real time, I thought that was those. were catches with Debo and McLaurin. But, you know, hey, that was a situation. I'm sure they said, oh, that's the cheese getting home cooking. The cheese getting home cooking.
Starting point is 00:42:27 Hey, um, wait, listen, I'm not saying the rest of cheating, but they was cooking. I think the thing is, oh, Cho, if you go back and look up it, a lot of them were out of position. Like that catch on the sideline, there were really no officials right there in the vicinity. So you've got to be in better position. Now, they were looking at McLaurin when he was in the end zone and they're trying to see but you want to get there
Starting point is 00:42:51 as close as you possibly can because you got a really hard job is his feet and does he hold on to the ball if I look at where he catches the ball I can't pay attention to his feet so they really have a hard job and that's really the job of two people
Starting point is 00:43:04 that's why you always see him check what did you get was he out of bounds back there nah he didn't step out okay but he touched the pile on is good so that is a two-man job but the guys got to be in position the guys, the women and the men,
Starting point is 00:43:18 they need to be in better position to make sure they're on top of those calls so they can get it right. But it's a tough situation and it's only going to get worse. Since the implement of gambling and what we're starting to find out now, people are going, now it's really going to ratchet up.
Starting point is 00:43:33 It's really going to ramp up and say, see, I told you, I knew it all along. Bad, you can't fool me. Hot team play like this one week and then the next week they act like they ain't never seen foot or a ball. Yeah, and it's a funny thing about it. Now, people can say what they want to say.
Starting point is 00:43:47 You can say the ref cheater. You can say that they didn't. But you understand when you ever have a quarterback, when you have a quarterback like Pax from Holmes, it gives you a favorable chance to win any matches. Yes. A favorable chance to win any game. Obviously, there was some turnovers early in this game.
Starting point is 00:44:01 The commandant to do what they needed to do to capitalize on those turnovers, and you saw what happened. And it's funny how the conversation about the Kansas City had a conversation about the Kansas City Chiefs had changed as a weeks of going on. First, they washed. They're not the same as they used to be.
Starting point is 00:44:17 The receiver's the playing bad. In the first two weeks, they started 0-1-2, which they haven't done before, to now looking like the Kansas City Chiefs of Old. And it was only a matter of time. It was only a matter of time, but players getting back healthy. Rashid Rice coming off the suspension, Hollywood, Brown, being in, Travis Kelsey Axie getting back the form. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:38 Now they're hitting on all cylinders. And we still haven't even seen probably the best Kansas City Chiefs team we can see just yet. I'm just trying to figure out what happened to Taekwuan Thornton. How does a guy be that involved? And I understand Rashid Rice coming back.
Starting point is 00:44:55 I get that, Ocho. But when a guy puts up that kind of numbers, you've got to find a way to get him on the field. They got so many options. Man, look, it's hard for you to convince me that Hollywood Brown is better than Taquan Thornton. Based on what we've seen this year.
Starting point is 00:45:09 Yeah. I'm not saying what he was when he was in Baltimore or what the year that he had in Arizona. I'm talking about right now, based on what you saw, Hollywood, Hollywood Brown was in there and Tyquan Thornton was in there. When Rashid Rice wasn't, Tycoon Thornton was their best receiver. Yeah, he was making some plays. He was making catches, you know,
Starting point is 00:45:31 especially deep balls. Yes. What was needed and it mattered most. And I knew they were going to play like this. I understood that. That's why when we had him on the show and I said, listen, once that door opens for you, make sure you put your foot in there cross it and close the door behind you
Starting point is 00:45:47 because this is the type of game that they play when it comes to business those that have already been paid those who are making top dollar they're going to see the field first I get that with Rashid Rice I get that with Rashid Rice because he is their best receiver Ocho we saw
Starting point is 00:46:03 the maturation when he came in as a rookie and he got better and better and better and better and as the year he was clear cut he was the number one receiver obviously had some had some issues. I think he got nicked and he got that situation, got himself
Starting point is 00:46:16 off field, got that behind him, got that issue resolved. But I just, I'm looking like that, but damn, you mean to tell me this man can't get on the field and get 10 plays?
Starting point is 00:46:26 He can't get one target. He can't get two targets in that whole show after doing what he's done in the absence of Rashid Rice. Look, we're not trying to start no conflict, but I think everybody in Kansas City and I think people that watch the game, follow the game,
Starting point is 00:46:38 study the game. You're like, hold on. How does a man go from playing that well? to not even getting in the game, barely getting in the game, not getting any targets. In a sense, I'm not even upset. In a sense, I'm not even upset because I understand the doors with the way he played when everyone else was out, when Hollywood Brow wasn't there, when, when, um. Hollywood was there.
Starting point is 00:47:01 No, no, no, when he wasn't there, Hollywood, Hollywood wasn't there yet? He was hurt. What was he at? Not this year. What wasn't he hurt early on when Tyquant kept making all those plays, making on kids? Hollywood was in there. It was Hollywood, Xavier Rice,
Starting point is 00:47:17 Xavier Worthy and Tyquine. No, no, somebody was missing. Somebody was missing from the equation. Rashid Wright was missing. Okay. Either way,
Starting point is 00:47:28 either way Tyquon thought it was, was arguably easily based on what we were seeing. Yes. That's all I'm saying. But this is the only thing, this is the thing I like, is you've already put it on film now.
Starting point is 00:47:39 You already put it on film, what you can do, when you're actually put in a position to make those, plays. So that door and the opportunity to play somewhere else where they would probably use him in his skill set that he does have with that kind of speed
Starting point is 00:47:50 it's going to pay off. It's not going to pay off where he is now because obviously they don't appreciate what he was able to do because you have too many other options. You got too many other options. And maybe it's a situation, Ocho, maybe he's Nick. Maybe there's something going on that you and I don't know about.
Starting point is 00:48:08 It ain't nothing wrong with him. Ain't nothing wrong with him. Ocho is trial. Other scenarios out there, bro. Damn. You know the game them folks play. You know the game they play.
Starting point is 00:48:18 Hold on. Hey, I'm, you know, I'm sitting here. I got to grab the chair. I'm sitting here on my suitcase. Hey, look what I'm sitting up. You heard me look. Yeah. Lord, have mercy.
Starting point is 00:48:30 It hurt my butt. Yeah, see. Yeah, Xavier, think about the Ocho. Xavier Worthy was injured. Now, Hollywood was there. Okay, that's what that's what I meant. That's what I knew it was one of them. I knew it was one of them.
Starting point is 00:48:46 I just, I knew it was so it was, yeah, it was Xavier. That's right. But Taquan, but he was. And maybe some situation, Ocho, where T played the same position is worthy. Hollywood played a different position. Right. Because, you know, you got two speed guys. So maybe that's the situation.
Starting point is 00:49:07 But I was, I was trying, I was trying to figure out like, well, damn, how he go from being so productive to damn near he damn near inactive yeah yeah that's that's crazy now i've seen it so many times i've seen there so many times which is why i don't want to say the wrong thing um because they they are winning but when you have when you have a team like that where they can they can they can plug and play different players in different positions and because you have patron homes it's going to always work regards to who you put out there right it's hard to argue the fact on it's real hard to argue the fact and then juju is so versatile juju blocked juju make the tough catches over the middle he understands uh he doesn't miss hot reeds uh and
Starting point is 00:49:51 at that situation where they run the the fake i'm trying to figure out i'm like noah why would you run a seven route bro you just try to score a touchdown don't run that at the angle get that up the field i'm like guys guys do y'all i don't i don't get it i i don't i don't get it i I'm trying, if I got the defense fool and the linebacker is trailing me from the inside, I'm not trying to get a 20-yard completion. I'm trying to get a 40-yard touchdown.
Starting point is 00:50:19 And you see how my home threw the ball. Mahomes threw him up the field because B. Wags was trailing on the inside. He was like, he wanted to catch it and get tackled out of bounds. No, bro. Take that up the field. Yeah. I don't know. Maybe it was set up like that.
Starting point is 00:50:35 Maybe it was, hey, to be a 20-yard completion and not a 40-yard touchdown. But that's like, you know, the way we ran around, like, look, if somebody's over the top, you're flatted it off. If somebody's on the trail, you keep it high. Right. Yeah. Patriots beat the Browns 3213. One week after finally eclipsing 17 points, Cleveland offense reverted to its old form, mustering two touchdown. Gabriel also couldn't take care of the ball. One thing coaches has consistently praised him for.
Starting point is 00:51:09 it's taking care of the football. But guess what, Ocho? Two touchdowns. Shador Sanders was active because of a back injury, but the calls for him to play will only grow louder if the Browns continue to... Oh, the Browns' buy weak is this week. Even though Kevin Stefansky said after the game
Starting point is 00:51:27 that Gabriel will remain the team starter for now. Hey, them got a damn drink me, boy? He's looking good, Ocho. Hey, listen, Drake May and Josh McDaniels, now I'm not saying, I'm not, I'm just saying, the start that they're off to right now. That damn pageers are six and two, huh? Yes.
Starting point is 00:51:53 But them boy, six and two, and they're dealing. Boy, Drake May is dealing. They running the ball, they're throwing the ball, and he's not just as opposed to flacko going to Uno, you know, all the time, 19 times. Man, Drake May getting to everybody. Man, listen. You get a ball, you get a ball, you get a ball.
Starting point is 00:52:12 Boutet, Stefan Diggs, man, they were at. Mac Collins, Oscar Bupra, Hunter Henry. And everybody eating. Yes. Everybody eats. And it's a good thing. It's a good thing. Obviously, you're playing the Browns.
Starting point is 00:52:28 The Browns have a very good deepening, but there's only so much they can do. There's only so much holding a team, holding the team down that they can do where your offense is sputtering. and the orphans are spreading too much, you know, you're, you're going to, you're dead the water. Then you've got damn defensive on the goddamn field. Damn, they all got damn. All night long. All night long.
Starting point is 00:52:49 Yeah, it is. And I'm looking, Patriots had the ball for over 36 minutes. Man. So that means the Browns only had it for 23. Ain't a whole lot you can do in 23 minutes with the football. At all. If you're going to have the ball 23 minutes, you got to be explosive. You better be
Starting point is 00:53:07 efficient and explosive. Kansas City. Kansas City didn't have it because you had Tyreek taking the top off and in one play, two plays, 40 seconds, they don't score a touchdown. So you can understand that. They don't have that level of explosiveness. So when you have the ball 23 minutes,
Starting point is 00:53:26 that means somebody else possessing it and they're going to put foot in you. Miles Garrett had a career high five sacks today, but became the first player in NFL history to do that and lose by more than three points. With his five sacks, Garrett passed Reggie White for the most sacks by a player, 108.5,
Starting point is 00:53:45 before turning 30 since sacks became an official stats in 1982. Despite personal success, Miles was caught being visibly upset with offensive woes on the sideline. Let's take a listen to what he had to say, Ocho, after the game.
Starting point is 00:54:00 And you were hot, right? It doesn't get any easier. Each week you ask you. How do you feel about your performance does the loss diminish how do you like performance today in August? I would throw the whole performance away for a win. Ocho, I want you to explain it to me
Starting point is 00:54:21 as if I was seven. So you're really going to have to get down to it and explain it to me as if I was a kid. I got you. Talk to me. I want you to tell me what was Miles Garrett thinking was going to happen? was going to happen based on everything that has happened since he's been there.
Starting point is 00:54:39 What has he seen from this organization that convinced him they were going to get it right? Well, you have to understand. As a seven-year-old that you are, I'm going to explain it to you in the best way possible. Miles Garrett understood there is no more guaranteed money on my contract. So what am I going to do because I want a huge lump sum and I want to raise? I'm going to throw a fit. I'm going to throw a fit in wanting to get out, to demand the trade, to force their hand, understanding there is no one else, there is no one else that can pull this off outside of me. As great as I am, they don't want to lose the asset that is me because my value is at its highest peak right now.
Starting point is 00:55:23 And understanding, I can get what I want by doing this. This was very strategic. It was well thought out. He understood what the Browns were. they weren't changing in one year. They're not going to change in two years. Hell, they ain't changed in the past 35 years. Correct.
Starting point is 00:55:39 No, it was, you know, it's about getting your bag. Getting your money. That's what it's about. You know? No, everything is the bus around it. Now, when you get in front of the media, you know, when you get in front of the media, of course you're going to see all the right things. Of course.
Starting point is 00:55:52 Come on, now. That's a part of the game. You're right. It's a part of the game. And that's what it is. I agree with everything that you said. I think Miles Garrett is an outstanding football player. He seems like an outstanding young man.
Starting point is 00:56:06 But at this point, I don't feel sorry for him. I can't. I can't. This is what you signed up for, Ocho. The days of, Ocho, you remember back in the day, Ocho, you were like, okay, the military, Uncle Sam, I'm looking for a few good men. Back there, you go train a little bit.
Starting point is 00:56:23 You're like, hey, I would get that GI Bill. I'm going to get college played for. Now, you signed up for the military. You're going to fight. Oh, yeah. They got all this stuff going on around the world. You go everywhere. Yeah, it ain't no, it ain't just no, no, no, no video games.
Starting point is 00:56:37 You go on a couple of weekends and do you have field duties and you go, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, all that trying to join, all that, all that trying to join, all that, all that trying to join, you a hell cat and get you a challenger. Oh, oh, you're going to, oh, you're going to earn that. Oh, you're going to earn, you're going to earn that now. With everything that's going on around the world, it's a different time. I can't as much as I want to I don't feel empathy I don't feel compassion for miles because this is what he signed up for
Starting point is 00:57:05 yeah this is what he signed up for okay now that you got your money you see then I go ahead and ask for a trade try to go somewhere broad that you can win hold on matter of fact what if as great as he is most of the time teams listen to trade talks
Starting point is 00:57:19 when it comes to players like this understand what the cream browns can get for a miles gap right now they're improving both to their roster for the foreseeable future, understanding that they're not going anywhere. You're not going anywhere. He got five sacks and they got the brakes beat off him.
Starting point is 00:57:34 So it clearly, it doesn't matter what he does. You're not any closer to your ultimate goal with Miles Garrett than you would be without him. So I might as well get pieces that I build, I can fill in that I believe that's going to help me get closer. Yes, I would love to be able to win a championship with Miles Garrett. But you saw today, you see his impact. He's been a defensive player of the year.
Starting point is 00:57:55 He's won the award. but he's in defensive player to your contention every single year. And you're no closer to winning the division. You're no closer to getting into the playoffs or winning a playoff game than you would be without him. I have a question, too. Yes. I hate to throw this out there.
Starting point is 00:58:15 And I don't mean, I don't, I don't know chat. Y'all stay with me real quick and tell me what y'all think about this. Jerry Jones. Jerry Jones made some phone calls, right? He made some phone calls down in Las Vegas. Yeah. The Bird to talk me, made some phone calls down to Cincinnati. But both of those teams said, nah, we good.
Starting point is 00:58:33 Yeah. You think about Jerry Jones making a call on down there to Cleveland, and go ahead and get 95. Yeah, it's going to probably take three first round picks. But you get, he had the Cowboys have the Capitol. The Eagles would do it. Detroit will do it. You got to have somebody that would put that, you know,
Starting point is 00:58:53 now here's the thing that's going to be. tricky about Detroit because Hutch you're going to have to do something with Hutch this year. Right. You got to do
Starting point is 00:59:03 you're going to have to do something with him. And could you imagine Aiden Hudgens is on one side and got to imagine that. Man. With that offense?
Starting point is 00:59:11 That ain't that. That's not fair. That's not fair. You might as well just ship the goddamn Lombardi right out there to him right now. Oh, for sure.
Starting point is 00:59:19 Absolutely. And if you put him in Dallas, him on that turf? Man, stop playing. now that's a different maker that's a different maker because the offense is so good the offense is so good you're going to be playing with a lead and he's going to get to rush all the time there it is there is and that's the impact player that will make your defense that much better for sure that that's that's absolutely that's absolutely for certain
Starting point is 00:59:48 no joe but it's just it's just tough i mean you know yeah uh i i just don't know what he thought And I look, we told, I, I know why he did it, too. Like you said, there's no more guarantee. I need a, I need a contract. I ain't playing this last year with no guaranteed money. I won't guarantee money. I've requested a trade. I understand what I mean in the community.
Starting point is 01:00:07 I really love the city, yada, yada, yada, yada. Oh, they came to say, we got 40 million. We got $10, $110 million fully guaranteed. Okay, I'm good. He know they're not going to win, but he got guaranteed money. Yeah. I mean, listen, we all know. You know, and those on outside, I mean, those with,
Starting point is 01:00:24 Let me ask you a question, Ocho, before you go any further? Do you believe if he says, I want to get traded and it said, my destination will be the Eagles, I would like to go to the Eagles, or I got to go to, like to go to Detroit? Do you believe they gave him a similar contract? Because I do. Yeah, absolutely. Thank you. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:00:43 But what he's done before he hit 30 years old, absolutely. He won't be 30 until the 29th of December. Yeah. That man got two months. Yeah. Do you know what I mean to say? This man's going to have him? Yeah. And see, that's why I said they would have been willing to do it because of what he's
Starting point is 01:00:59 already accomplished. And he has 30. Right. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. But listen, it still might happen. It still might happen because right now the Browns, the organization, the GM, the scouts, the owner, I mean, we're really not going anywhere. Because we're not. They're not. We're not winning with them. So why don't we get pieces that we can use and continue to build for the foreseeable future? But here's the thing, Ocho. Can they build?
Starting point is 01:01:30 Nah. Yeah, maybe Legos. Exactly. Toy laying. That's what they showed us. Yes. They had a quarterback, but they didn't want him to be himself.
Starting point is 01:01:46 He got injured and he played, he tried to play through it. And, you know, had me convinced that he couldn't play. Right. No, he could play. He just need pieces around it. Yeah, as all quarterbacks do. Yes.
Starting point is 01:02:00 Look at it when he got pieces around him. Tadda. Looking good. But, and, you know, look, they, when they got high draft picks, but see, you got Miles Garrett, okay, slam dunk. You got Baker. or paid good for a couple of years he got injured.
Starting point is 01:02:22 You didn't have the pieces around him. Right. But you got Denzel Ward. But here's the thing, Ocho, it's those second round, it's the second through fifth that builds your football team. Yeah. That's where you make it. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:02:38 That's the way you build a football team. Yeah. It's those pieces. So do we believe Cleveland can fill in the blanks? That's the question. Can they fill in the blanks, Ocho? Well, have they been able to fill them in the past Who knows how long?
Starting point is 01:02:54 No. There's your answer. No. They hadn't had a quarterback since Bernie Kosar was taking it to the AFC championship game consistently. Now, Baker had a couple of good years, but I'm talking about consistent play for a three, four-year stretch. It was Bernie.
Starting point is 01:03:11 You know, in 19, what was 80, 1980 when they had the cardiac kids, Brian Syke, Ozzie Newsom, Reggie Rucker, those guys. Yeah. but they haven't been that in a while. You know, they was good. And like I said, when they had Bernie, they had Ernest Bader, Kevin Mac, they had Ozzy.
Starting point is 01:03:31 I think what? Were the, uh, Medcaf was there, too? Medcaf came in 90. Medcaf was in my draft. No, Metcalf might have been 89. Yeah. I think Metcalf might have been 89.
Starting point is 01:03:45 So he was there? Yeah, he might have been there. He was there. Man, you had to see him, man. That joke will stop on a dime, Ojo. With them high knees? Yeah, yeah. Man, Cal would like that.
Starting point is 01:03:56 He must have ran track, huh? Yeah, I think he did. Yeah, because he was silky smooth, man. He exaggerated his running for him as if he was on the track. Garrett, 2000, 2020, defensive player of the year when he had 14 sacks. The five sacks today give him 10 for the season with nine games to play. That's tough for players on a loose.
Starting point is 01:04:19 and team to win postseason awards, but he's going to be tough to ignore. Brian Burns is another. I think Brian Burns has 10 over 11 sacks. Garrett, eight consecutive season with at least 10 sacks. He's on pace to shadow his previous high of 16 sacks in a season. That's how well he's playing.
Starting point is 01:04:38 But it's going to go and notice. Yeah. Well, listen, if he continue to make noise, continue to make noise. I think obviously before November 4th, I don't think you're going to be there. No, no, I don't think they trade them to see. I think, but let me tell you, so, Joe.
Starting point is 01:04:54 Think about this. Do you know how hard it is to get sacks when you're getting your ass kicked? Yeah. This man got 10 sacks, this man got five sacks, and they ran the ball for damn near 200 yards on him. And he's still putting the numbers on that team.
Starting point is 01:05:11 And that's crazy. I need to talk to end. I need to talk to Andrew Barry. In the heat of battle, your squad relies on you. Don't let them down.
