about live golf. Thank you for having me. Most of us have some fun, man. Listen, man, this is hot out here. It's hot. It's hot. It's heavily hot. I saw y'all walking in, by the way, when y'all first came in. I thought y'all were one of the golfers because all the fans was crowded around. Y'all giving your high fives. Gas was up, man. I was like, oh,

who's that? I looked over. I was like, who was that? Until they seen the swing. And then it all went back to the norm. Man, you started off the right way. The walk in it's so crazy. You know what I'm saying? You walk through here. It's like we all go to rest. We love WWE. They walk down and ramp.

You get the attention here. You see that VIP line down there? Yeah. It's crazy. Did y'all check out the party hole yet? No, I'm ready for it. He said, yeah, so you went by yourself? No, I saw it.

We didn't have the experience in that. I've seen the clips before. Yeah, I'm ready to have that chance to be a part of it. It gets really, it gets really crazy. The energy here is insane. It's unlike any vibe that you've ever seen. Yeah, yeah. Obviously basketball, right?

I'll come from a basketball experience. I've been the in arena host for Philadelphia. your 76th or since 2008, which is crazy. It was like one of AI's last seasons, working my way up for the NBA. I've seen you on the court getting cooked by my six years a million times. I don't know about that. I just not.

I probably was getting cooked. But yeah, no, coming from a basketball background and to golf, I didn't personally know what to expect because I'm kind of like, y'all, I didn't have a golf history. When I got here, I was a little nervous, but I was surprised to see that not only the people that work here, here, but the fans, the players, and the atmosphere is very simple. This is like the golf version of the NBA, we're sure.

Oh, definitely. Like, the energy, if you hear right now, the music is blasting, like, the energy just here is a lot different, which is crazy. And first thing, first shot to everybody from the production team to the people who got us here, the accommodations, you can tell. This is like, hey, get them in a hand right now. Give you all the hand, come on. Yeah, for sure.

The hospitality, I'm believing. On a walk-in, what's crazy. Yeah. You've been experienced, man. This is what they do every stop. Yeah, so the thing is we have party holes. We have the players with their walkout songs. They quite literally just like baseball walkout to songs that they select.

So you're going to get a completely different type of energy. It's 54 players. It's 13 teams. It's three tournaments. But as you can see, like, the fans are different. 30% of our fans that show up here are not golf fans. They're new to the sport of golf. You're going to see black people, white people, families, strollers, babies crying.

Like, it's a different energy. I saw y'all with Taylor Gooch. Earlier, you see how close you get to the players and the energy, how it's more like a family kind of vibe here, which is pretty special. Let's have some fun with this. Walkout sign. B.N., what you're picking? Probably for NATO, Chief Keith.

I can't come out to Chief Keith? Not show what you're coming out to? I'm probably going to come out to hustle like my boy DJ did, man. That was pretty dope. He became my favorite golfer because of that. All right. Oh, wow. I'm going to have to go and turn my swag on by Soldier Boy.

Wow. Is that crazy? Yeah. That's my own. That's my swag on by Soldier Boy. That's my dad. Somebody's going to take that. How did you join?

Respect the big soldier. All for me, he took my chief, man. I might have to hop in with a rich homie quine, you know what I'm saying? A walk-in joint, you know what I see the vibes. So who do y'all like? Who do y'all got your eye on? Who are we looking at? I'll shout to my boy Bryceie.

You know, we're like, yeah, gal. For sure, man. That was my guy. Yeah, Joaquin. Joaquin, nah, and my boy. Wait, would you say? Joaquin, nahing. Then I'm playing Taylor Gooch.

That's where I got my money on the doctor. Okay, all right. So the storyline is pretty interesting. Joaquin Neiman is going head-to-head with John Ron. John Ron is a defending champion, 24, individual champion. Now, Joaquin Neiman was in this same situation last year and lost to John. Now, this year, he's leading the way. They're going head-to-head this week.

And Joaquin Neiman is, he's like a young John Morant. Yeah. He's like a rising star. He's really explosive, but he's got that poise. It feels like he's been in the league. a lot longer than he has because he belongs. So this is a big week for your boy, what did you call him?

Joaquin, you got to say, Nah, he had an accent. It's screaming for everyone that doesn't know. I'm maddie. I'm ready. But remember with that. He had that for writing. It's been renamed for about two months now. You said shout out to Taylor Gooch, where he's a 2023 individual champion.

He's currently in fifth. He's having a great year as well. What kind of interactions did you have with Taylor? No, I just talked to him. told him specifically, like, you know, I got my money on you. I just walked in. There was no pressure at all. No pressure. It's because it feels like.

There's no pressure. Did he give y'all any pointers? No, I was letting them lock in. We was just watching them like to get off. Yeah, they was at the driving range and let them do their thing. So I'm excited because this is your first experience. Before y'all get to the party hall and get the whole vibe, what are you feeling so far from what y'all saw? For me, it's unbelievable.

Like not being too into golf like that to come here and hear the music and the vibes and everybody having a good time. It made me more comfortable. Maybe you want to get out there and try to swing a little bit. Yeah. Like the environment is crazy. Like you said, from kids to adults,

everybody's having a good time no matter where they at. And I like the, you know what I'm saying, the shotgun start is pretty dope. Yeah. You got to wait to see what people tee off. It's why you say in one place

you didn't see everybody, which is pretty dope as well. Yeah. And then you got guys like Bryson DeShambo who just get it. Like, it's more than golf. This guy, if you watch him, watch him today,

he goes out of his way, almost every single hole while he's playing, and he gives autographs. after a round, you'll see him out there on the driving range practicing, then you'll see him shooting a YouTube video following that. He's a man with the people,

and he understands, like, growing the game of golf. And it's not just Bryson, though. It's across the board. The players are all here committed to building the brands, not only of the league, but their respective teams. I tried to give y'all four Aces had earlier. And y'all didn't throw that on,

but I'm going to let that one. I'm going to let that one. I love the Four Aces brand. Like, if you look at some of the brand, and you've got, like, Bubba Watson and his range, The logos are cool. The colors are different.

Like, look at our microphones. Yeah. If I'm here, I'm a host here. You know, it's just a different. You're really good at this, too, man. I'm really good. Look, I know I sound like I'm a mascot, but it's like I really mean what I'm saying. I took a deep faith jumping into a new sport.

Yeah. I didn't know what to expect, right? I was embraced here by a family and by a league. It feels, I didn't miss a step. Like, it's really a different energy here. And if you come from an NBA background, like, if you're a fan and you're watching and you're tapping into NBA or NFL, those are two leagues that put a lot of effort into entertainment and a lot of effort into connecting with the consumer, you come to live, you hear golf and you're like, ah. But then you come here and you're like, wait a minute. Yeah, that's going on here.

They're throwing towels in the crowd. You're going to see t-shirts. You're having a plane fly over your head. Guys jumping out of helicopter to land down here. You're going to see pyro go off. You're going to hear Jason's own fisher screaming at the top of his lung. At the first hole. Excellent hope.

You're going to see the players stop for a second. They might even do a dance. They're coming out to a walkout song and signing autographs. It's a party. It's literally a party here. There's got to be a better feeling. I know, especially what's been going on with Philly, man. I know you get well soon.

I know y'all have been having so hard. So I know this environment is probably people are probably. Now, why did you have to do that guy? I see why he left, though. I see why you're trying this. That's going to be fine. I'm sick. I'm going to live.

I'll go back when the Pee and come back. I'm a Philly boy for life. I'm a Philly boy for life. Yeah, sound to the Hawks, man. We're rolling a lot of things for them. But what made you come over to the Little Golf family, though, man? So I got a call from my agency one day. I'm going to tell a real, this is a raw, real story.

I got a call from my agency. They're like, hey, that's this opportunity with Live Golf. You know you're not a golf guy, but you're good at what you do. You're probably not going to get the job. Just get on a call with these guys. I got on a call. Next thing you know, I have another call. Next thing you know, I'm being asked by my agency to jump on a call with the

Greg Norman. They're like, he wants to do a mock interview with you. So, you know, no big deal. Just hop on a call with Greg Norman. Hopped on a call with Greg Norman. We had an amazing interview together. We chatted, and it was a great vibe. At the end of that call, Greg was like,

this is the energy that we're looking for, live golf. This is the voice that we weren't here. And I was like, you got the radio voice. I just saw a big opportunity, especially just to represent, you know, a different voice. Right, different audience for such an amazing sport.

I had to take it. I had to. I just saw the big opportunity to be that. And look at us now. We're all standing here on the set with a golf tournament behind us, and all of us suck at golf. For sure. So I'm probably better than the rest of them.

Wait, what? I'm probably better than the rest of y'all. He couldn't pay put putt putt up better than me, but this I hear you probably. Putt is crazy. Look, next to me, we got Pup Putt Channel. That's the one right here. We're going on the green. See who really liked that, for show.

I'm 100%. down to do a put putt putt challenge that i can do no that i am like that compared to them so i probably i probably i'll probably shoot like an 85 that day on a put putt put no no no sure out here no out here i got quiet after you said that right because you know my my high well what i shot 75 that one day and write this up man yeah man i on that note i might have to get out of here uh you know um nah but thank you guys guys guys for having me here. I'm definitely down to

But first things first, I wanted to bring up, you know what I'm saying? Some of the people we met today. Shout out to the OG Roland Martin, man. We met him out here golfing.

You know what I'm saying? We fed out some war disorders by him. Freaky Mike's golfing stories, man. He always tells us how good he is, but we got to the bottom of it today. How are you feeling about that? Roland let us know that he's not that good. Yeah, I'm glad we postponed our time on the tea with Mike.

Most clearly, he wouldn't have got us off to a good start. He's our golf expert, you know what I'm saying? He tells us how good he is. Then we get out here around some real ones. We find out, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, it's all foolproof. Yeah, it's a little fabricator out here. We need to get the bottom of it.

Yeah, we met a lot of cool people here, Jay Williams here from the NBA. Duke Legend. Shout to Jay Will in the building, for sure. it's been a super, super cool man, I think the dope part about this is the individual aspect and the team aspect, you know what I'm saying, 18 M's on the line

for the winner. Yeah, come on, man. I got to get into golf. Yeah, I got a lock in. Now, it was crazy how they compared it to basketball. Like, you basically, your job is on the line out here. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I understand when some of the golfers don't want to, you know what I mean, engaged with the fans

because they really got, you know what I mean? You got a lock in. Yeah, like I said, the differences between this and the other league is that, you know what I'm saying? The combinations they have for everybody, you know what I'm saying? basically, like you said, in the NBA, if he was in that situation, a little bit different, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Things that live golf offers to some of these golfers as opposed to other places. Yeah, yeah. Now, this is a dope environment, a dope opportunity. And, like, to be on a team. Yeah. You know what I mean? That team aspect of things, that's kind of cool. I wonder how we would be, though.

Like, if we had our own team, like... What would our name be? It could be $520. It could be $5.20, but I'm saying, like, if we had our own team, and, like, one of y'all are playing so bad. Like... You got to get cut. So I don't know

A different direction Because they all walking together And I'm like, I know one of the best You got to stay locked at the team And you pick the team So it's making it worse Yeah, for sure They're going to do it like a drum loud

And they came to them on the side blight, yeah Yeah I also want to know how they got all these noise Like, permit, like clear Because, you know, we have a party, like, the police is knocking on your door. This is in a very beautiful area in the city. It's a wonderful house around here, but I know this weekend, get out of town. Yeah, for sure.

For sure. But speaking of the music, the dope part, you got the live DJs in different places. Then we talked about the walk-up is that so far. And then I have Jason DeRue up performing. Come on, back. It's nothing like this. This is an environment, too. I'm sure you're going to have it lit.

Oh, it's going to be a vibe, man. And it's a beautiful city. I mean, even a merch man, living golf is just really top tier, man. What's some of your favorite thing? while we get up out of here about the experience. No, we got a lot more to talk about it. Mine is the fan engagement. Yeah.

Like, I like how the players, like, even the missus, you know, how they locked in, they still engage it with the fans, you know what I mean? Yeah. Signed in autographs, stuff like that. So that's dope. Hey, look, speaking of autographs, my way B. He was on the green going crazy. That's happening.

You know what I'm not walking out of him, but I signed a couple of hats today. Okay, okay. For sure, for sure. Now, I love the fact that they got walk-up music. Right. That was dope to me. I've been to a couple. baseball games for them to walk out like that.
