This is an iHeart podcast.
I know a lot of cops, they get asked all the time, have you ever had to shoot your gun?
Sometimes the answer is yes.
But there's a company dedicated to a future where the answer will always be no.
This is Absolute Season One, Taser, Incorporated.
I get right back there and it's bad.
Taser, Inc. I get right back there and it's bad.

Hi, I'm Sarah Spain, host of Good Game with Sarah Spain and the co-author of the new book
Runs in the Family, an incredible true story of football,
fatherhood and belonging,
written with and about Las Vegas Raiders running backs
coach, Dylan McCullough.
It's the story of a football coach and father of four
who sees his life forever changed by the unsealing
of his adoption records.
And it's got a twist you won't believe.
Based on the viral ESPN story I did a few years ago,
this book will blow your mind and bring you to tears.
Buy Runs in the Family, wherever books are sold.
Hey, this applies to 99% of the world. I mean, 99% of the nation, not 98.9. I mean, 99.
Just like that paternity test you took.
Okay. And if you're the 1%, it's gonna apply to you. But for the rest of y'all, 99%, man, tap in Boost Mobile coverage nationwide.
You apply for this, it's great. Tap in with Boost Mobile.
If you switch over to Boost Mobile right now, you can get an iPhone 15 with crazy camera work.
That is a 48 megapixel camera for $99.99.
That's right, $99.99 on a 5G network. That's right. $99.99
on a 5G network is nationwide.
And I'm 99% sure that Boost Mobile just gave us a crazy deal with this promo.
Now this is crazy.
You are the father.
It does require credit
qualification, ID verification
and an activation on a $6 plan.
Taxes are extra and 5G speeds
may not be available in all areas.
But they said it was nationwide.
Just not in your hood.
Your neighbor good though.
All right, we back at it again.
Club 520 live at JD Sports in Times Square.
Man, back at it with some of the young talent you're gonna see in this year's NBA draft.
It's only right, man.
We got one of the best guards in the country.
You're gonna see his name called real real soon, man.
Big fans over here.
We got Mr. Dilla Harper.
Appreciate you sliding on this big dog.
Thank you for having me, man.
Come on, man.
Long time overdue.
We're all fans.
We've been fans since you were hungin'.
Appreciate it.
You really watch the show?
I do watch the show.
Both of them.
Or your black Air Forces.
You don't wear it no more.
No, you tapped me.
I'm tapped.
I ain't no more.
You tapped.
I'm all the way tapped.
I had to check your DNA.
He been out of uniform, but he on the road
to wedding cook a little bit.
No, JD sponsored me, bro, now.
So I got to mix it up and show the brand off.
You know what I'm saying?
Listen, we know you keep the feats nice, man.
We got to jump straight to it.
What's that feeling like when you go to a school that
ain't sponsored by the brand that you signed to,
and you're the only one in your homeboy on the court
hooping to shoot to your school they signed to? Hey, man, just your home plate on the court hooping the shoes that your school ain't signed to.
Hey man, just change the culture.
You're on a problem.
Change the culture, I mean, NIL, new thing, I mean,
we was on the brisk, like, contract was over,
renewing contracts, stuff like that.
I mean, Coach gave me the green light,
I was gonna take it, so I mean, I was.
You know, I did that in the NBA.
It didn't work out well for me.
It didn't work out well for me.
I lost my confidence.
So go ahead and cut that shit short now.
I don't get no ideas.
I was already in favor.
When I seen that first game, I said, he got the joy,
so what the hell got them up?
I said, oh, yeah.
I'm locked in.
I said, yeah, show your worth, man.
I said, damn, is that an AAU team?
What is he doing out there?
Hey, man, Coach gave me the green light early.
I was going to say no. I was like, I'm wearing it. That's fine. Obviously, man, Coach gave me the green light early. Nah, it's not the coach. I was gonna say no.
I was like, I'm wearing it.
Nah, it's fine.
Obviously, man, you got a crazy game.
Where did you get your game from, man?
What models you obviously know,
saying Pops was crazy in the league,
but what mode is your game to make you play how you play?
I think playing against older people.
Okay.
Like I used to play out with my brother all the time.
This little stuff like that just kinda made me mature
in a way, just the physicality of the game.
But really, I don't know, I think my game is kind of different.
I think I can play point guard if you need me to.
I can pass if you need me to play defense.
I think I got an all around game.
So that's kind of unique.
That's a fact.
Is your brother, y'all played a lot of ones growing up?
Yeah, he's it.
But now, like we play ones now, it's even.
It's even now?
Back then, he's a doggy.
Yeah, he's six years older than me.
That's how I used to do my little brother. But now it's even? Yeah, it's even now.'s even now? Back then he's a doggy. Yeah, he's six years older than me. That's how I used to do my little brother.
But now it's even?
Yeah, it's even now.
We ain't going back.
Nah, he just said it now, even.
I believe it.
Oh my God.
But you know, it's even.
It's even.
You need one on ones with your pops?
He don't wanna play one on one.
Last time I played one on one.
Last time I played one on one.
That's how the pops won the ghost.
I dunked on him.
Last time I played one on one.
I dunked on him. Excuse me? Man, what? That was the last time we ever played one. You remember that? Last time we ever played one on one. Last time I played one on one. I dunked on him. Last time I played one on one. I dunked on him.
Outside.
That was the last time we ever played one.
You remember that?
Last time we ever played one on one.
Dunked on him.
Dunked on him.
That's the thing.
I like that.
I like that.
He was on here, and he asked about that.
He just go.
He say something crazy.
Oh, OK.
All right.
You got the upper hand.
Though, being at Rutgers, man, I watched the game.
You had a triple double.
And you talked about your game being well-rounded.
Like what you think the best thing you do?
Like besides, you said you can do a little bit of everything,
but what's the best thing?
I think probably play-making,
I think that's kind of an underrated skill,
but I think I'm up there, I think.
Most teams I've been on, I just kind of had the score.
Only way we had a chance to win and stuff like that,
but I think like you put me in pick and roll, definitely pick and roll stuff like that. Getting in my spots and just making the right play.
I tell when I watch you I tell people you kind of got that Cade Cunningham, Luca type of game you
know bigger body can put people on your hip and make plays would you consider there some people
that you like moderate game after? Cade's probably that's probably my favorite player. Yeah yeah.
Before June 25th after that I don't got. Yeah yeah facts. Asade's probably, that's probably my favorite player. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Before June 25th, after that, I don't got it.
Yeah, yeah, facts.
As of right now, yeah, that's probably my favorite player.
Him, Shea, like you said, Luca, James Harden.
As they get to their spots,
they control the game, stuff like that.
That's a fact.
That's what I watch.
Definitely, man.
I can say, watch me and Ruggers, it was dope,
you know what I'm saying, you and Ace out there.
It was dope to see you and your homeboy
just out there getting to it in college.
Obviously, y'all go crazy.
What's the swag like on the court
and the swag like off the court?
I see you got the tech suit on with the white horses.
Off the court it's probably this, I'm simple.
I'm like, I ain't trying to show out.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like, even like, tunnel walks,
people be like, you gonna show out, put stuff on,
but like, I don't see the point dressing to play basketball.
You're going to play basketball at the end of the day.
Stuff like that, but on the court,
I'm a simple, simple guy. I want to tell you something. I of the day. Stuff like that, but on the court, I'm just a simple guy.
I wanna tell you something.
I said the same thing my rookie year,
and it's a guy named Jerrick Jack.
He said, I give you four years, young fella.
You gonna swear to me?
My fourth year, I spent 100,000.
He went too crazy.
I spent a lot of money on some clothes, I'm telling you.
Yeah, man.
I get free Nike clothes. I'm gonna keep wearing them. Me too, all'm telling you. Yeah, man. My thing, I get free Nike clothes.
I'm going to keep wearing them.
Me too.
Look.
Y'all from JD Sports.
Hey, y'all marked this day.
I remember the first time we sat on that total.
Oh, no.
I'm closet.
My thing is like, it's different.
Like, if you getting paid to wear something,
or like, for transpond stuff like that,
you got to put it on.
It's cool.
But like, I ain't going out my way
to throw something crazy.
You know, like, the stuff Russell West will be wearing, like stuff like that. You gotta put it on, it's cool. But like, I ain't going out my way to throw something crazy, you know, like the stuff Russell West will be wearing,
like stuff like that.
I'm not, I'm not.
You ain't deep into fashion.
Nah, I'm not deep into fashion.
I like that though, you about the ball,
you're trying to hoop.
Most definitely.
Now obviously you know you was early with the NIL
and stuff, you know what I'm saying,
you know what I'm saying, outside of responsible stuff,
you gonna go crazy on the first person,
you gonna get you one of them 520 chains,
like my boy B. Hinn over here?
Nah.
Nah.
He coming, he coming, you coming with something different. Nah, Nah. He coming. He coming.
You coming with something different.
Nah, yeah.
Nah, not that one.
No.
I said they, they, they, they, they.
Nah, it's raw though.
That chain raw.
I appreciate it.
That chain raw, but I ain't got it.
You know what, get you some big R. Kelly rings.
Look up R. Kelly for yes to video.
Oh, I don't think that he wants to read.
You think like the gentleman with respect.
I don't want no.
He got it.
Nah, no, no, no.
The air rings, they go the right way.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Not that way, we going the other way. No, no, no, no. I don't know what he got. The air read, they going the right way.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Not that way, we going the other way.
I didn't say perform like Orr, I just said get the truth.
He like Orr.
Alla Irison, get the Alla Irison.
Nah, I'm gonna give you a nice little chain.
Yeah, bro, go on, treat yourself.
Got some nice cooking up, yeah.
We've been asking everybody a suit for the drive.
All black Versace suit.
A little bit of red in it.
Oh.
Okay.
Spill on the beans with the shoes then.
Oh.
Some Louboutins, red bottom.
You coming icy though, huh?
Nah, I don't wear no dirt.
I like to see.
Coming clean cut.
Yeah, clean cut, watch on plain jeans.
Okay, super tailored.
Yeah, super tailored.
I don't wear the flare, no, tailored.
Okay.
So growing up, obviously you said your dad played,
your brother's been great,
but what's this moment like for you?
Like going through this draft process,
knowing your name's about to be called, what's that like?
It's crazy, cause like,
even if you asked me like two, three years ago,
I would be like, you're bugging.
Like I never like, this is surreal.
Ain't think I was gonna get to this point
until probably like two years ago.
So I'm just keeping it day by day with this thing grounded.
It's definitely been cool.
But I mean, once I get drafted, I mean, you want the bigger, better things now.
Now it's time for the real grind.
Know your mom trained you growing up.
Like how is she with you in this process?
Is she hard on you or is she just letting you go through?
Nah, she ain't letting me go through.
She ain't letting me go through.
Nah.
Yeah, she's been right next to me by my side the whole time,
make sure I'm good, but she was my coach from first grade
to 12th to senior year high school that whole time.
How y'all pulled that up?
Hey, man.
Who was in home school?
Nah, I mean, she was my AU coach, my first eighth grade,
and then the high school I went to gave her an assistant
coach job.
So I was with her.
They said, hey, you coming here?
My family, yeah, lineage.
So you got it.
Yeah.
Shout out to the lineage.
Shout out to the lineage for sure.
Yeah, for sure.
I ain't never heard that.
Mom coached me since she was 10.
She coached me all the way through.
I was allowed to shoot no jump shots
when I was little, yeah.
Yeah.
No jump shots?
No jump shots till like fifth, sixth grade. That's probably why I could drive, that's why I get to the basket like how I get to the basket. Yeah, you do. jump shots to like fifth, sixth grade.
That's probably why I can drive, that's why I get to the basket like how I get to the basket.
Yeah, you do.
You get to that cup.
My boys say I can't shoot a middie to a middle school.
I ain't shoot a middie to a middle school.
And when I did, I got yelled at.
See kids, you can learn from this.
If you lock in, you can do whatever you want to.
Top pick.
Nah, for sure.
Don't shoot jumpers.
What's the weakest part of your game?
Been asking everybody that.
Weakest part?
I ain't gonna say I got no weak part, but...
With that right hand?
That right hand, that right hand, nice.
That right hand, nice.
That right hand, nice.
That left hand, nice.
I mean, I think this is stuff I gotta,
this is definitely like stuff I gotta get better at,
like defense cover, stuff like that.
Yeah.
Reading the game, stuff like that.
Just little things in the game that I tweak
and just get better at, but overall,
game is trying to just get to the top,
because everyone good now.
Everyone can do the same thing now.
True.
How was that throwing that first pitch
at Yankee Stadium?
That mountain far as hell.
That mountain far.
Like, I got up there,
and started feeling your legs shaking.
I said, oh, I got to throw this ball.
I got to throw this ball.
Leg shaking is crazy. I got up there, I said, oh, I got to throw this ball. I said, I'm not going to throw this ball. Leg shaking is crazy.
I got up there.
I said, oh, I'm done with it.
It's crazy because it's big.
It's big.
They always looking at you.
And the man on forest, I told myself,
I threw it too hard, I threw it right over his head.
And I didn't want to have no Stephen Smith moment
or no 50 Cent moment.
So I just lobbed it right in there.
That's all I'm going to say.
You didn't have a 50, my boy hit that.
No, you didn't. My boy ran out of turbo on that throw. He did. That's all I'm gonna say. You didn't have a 50, my boy hit the... No, you missed.
My boy ran out of turbo on that throw.
No, he did.
That's fire, though.
He missed Tom D.
No, yeah.
Like you said, man, Tom Square, they gonna have y'all up, man.
What's that feeling like?
One of the busiest places in the world, JD Sports got you into some of the other drafts
they honoring.
What's that moment like, man?
Seeing yourself in a billboard, crazy.
I ain't never been on a billboard before.
My organ go up a little bit.
Oh, organ, huh?
My organ go up a little bit.
Or my ninja. Seeing yourself in a billboard, crazy. I had never been on a billboard before. My aura gonna go up a little bit.
Oh, aura up?
My aura gonna go up a little bit.
My ninja.
Nah, I think you already turned blue.
Nah, I shaved with the gold shoes on after the game.
Yeah.
Or was crazy.
How you feel about the game yesterday?
That's crazy.
I'm sick.
I'm sick.
My boy in Washington.
What's wrong with you?
What's wrong with you?
I'm still sick. I ain't gonna talk about that right now. I'm sick of this. My boy watching the show. You're the most fucking dick.
I'm still sick, though.
I ain't gonna talk about that right now.
I'm still sick.
This is the day after.
You're well soon to be, man.
Yeah, man.
We still recovering.
The wound is still, you know what I'm saying?
The bed day can't cover it.
So you would've got the Pacer logo tattooed on you,
you got one with the one?
Hey, listen, man, the old Brian's
would've been right here, dog.
He getting a pee on him.
Nah.
Boss, but.
What?
He got that pee.
The pee is crazy.
He's just out of pocket.
Hey, man.
Got to get these for us to ask him 520, maybe you can go get it.
What's the shoes you're wearing on the court, man, this year?
What's your debut?
Some GT cutCut ones.
I got a couple of PEs for them to pull out.
OK.
We beggars on here.
We always ask everybody.
Some people already promised us some shoes.
Do we get your PEs?
Yeah, I mean, if y'all ask for them, y'all can get them.
We ask them.
Yeah.
Y'all can get some.
Nah, y'all can get some.
What's the logo looking like?
You know what I'm saying?
I know you're probably waiting for an unveiling of that.
I probably got my phone on me.
OK.
Don't worry.
We're going to be in the DM.
We're going to be in the DM.
Don't worry.
Y'all going to see him.
Oh, yeah.
We're going to follow up for sure.
Yeah, we're going to see him.
Of course, y'all.
We're going to be in the DM.
That was crazy.
We're going to put up our 20 page.
We're going to run down on you, too, in July.
Summer league.
Yeah, we're going to put up.
I'll have them on.
I'll have them on during the summer league.
Yeah, we're going to put them up for you.
We're looking for our pair.
Obviously, man, going to league.
Who's some people you looking forward to going up against?
The nice guys you say, you know what I'm saying, compare yourself to.
What's that one matchup you like?
I'm ready.
Like, I'm ready for that smoke.
I'm ready to have this battle.
Yeah, everyone really, but I mean, a couple people.
I like Cade.
I mean, watched him a lot.
I think I see how I do him.
Andy Edwards, Shea, all the stars of the game right now.
Just see where I line up toe to toe.
That's what's up.
Definitely them.
Obviously you can relate to this.
What's that moment like, you know what I'm saying?
As a rookie, you come in,
it's like, all right, I used to see him on TV.
Now I gotta go against him.
I don't start right with this moment.
What's that like?
My moment might be a little different than his.
He might actually get in the game.
I was just about to say that too,
but I don't wanna say nothing.
I don't wanna say nothing. I'm trying to be a little bit. I was just about to say that too, but I didn't want to say nothing.
I didn't want to say nothing.
I don't want to say nothing.
Hey, that's crazy. That's crazy.
It's cool, man.
That moment he don't play, I'm a cop.
I'm not answering no more.
He called, I didn't answer.
I'm just going to text you and be like, I know.
Nah, that's all right, you're going to be a star.
Come on, man, you're going to see him on a lot of verified buckets, man.
Hope he don't get well soon.
Yeah.
Man, stay tuned.

Cops believed everything that Taser told them.

We got a special guest in the building, man.
Seen this man, he been going crazy all year long, man.
We're here to celebrate him for his journey to the ABA, man.
You know where you're from, from Beemore,
the one and only Mr. Derrick Quinn.
Big dog, we appreciate you sliding on us, man.
Thanks for having me.
Nah, man, it's a blessing, man.
How you feeling, man?
You running around media circuits almost off of the draft
and got you out here in JD Sports, man. How you feeling right now, man? I know you running around media circuits almost time for the draft. I got you out here in JD Sports, man.
How you feeling right now, man?
Feeling great, excited.
That's what's up, bro.
I'm into a new city.
Most definitely, man.
Listen, we all big fans of your game, man.
Let's take it back first, man.
High school, crazy career, mom for her, did your thing, put your...
Now go to Maryland.
What's that transition like for you, you know what I'm saying?
You had a person to kill it, now you the man on campus.
What's that transition like?
Really wasn't a huge transition
because Coach Boyle, he'd been doing it
for longer than I was born.
And then he got us ready.
Me and all my teammates ready.
So it was pretty easy.
I was having to be here.
That's already, he the real stretch for you.
You know what I'm saying?
He used to get into it back in the day.
Yeah.
How praise for his game?
Now for sure, I want to just step back a little bit.
I saw you at the Chipotle Classic here in, well,
in Indianapolis.
Bro, y'all, do you think y'all got the best Mount
Virg team ever, bro?
Yes, I do.
I don't know, bro.
Like, for real, for real, I feel like y'all are one
of the best teams ever, period.
Because y'all probably look at it, like, how they playing
in the NBA now.
Give us like four years.
Nah, for real.
And then we can have that conversation.
Probably not even four years, two, three years,
then we can have that conversation.
What about that team with Cade in them?
They had precious coming off the bench.
That was like, wait, no, that was his like, his,
like that's not the team everybody comparing us to,
but still they can have any team.
They compare y'all to Ben Simmons and them team?
Nah, no.
They ain't got no.
So now you getting out of pocket.
Yeah, he just want to.
No, but like, how I think about it is like,
like we all meet up at Novur, wherever,
have some reps and we gonna play.
Okay.
Oh, you on that squad. Heard it here first then, he on that type of time. That's what I'm trying to do. rest and we gonna play. Okay. Oh, you on that.
Heard it here first then he on that type of thing.
That's what I'm trying to do.
For sure, for sure.
Ready sports, Mount Bird, get the one set up.
You told me something.
He told me something before we started the show.
He got a picture with me when he was in like fourth grade.
You got a picture with young Nigel for real?
I don't know how old he just made me feel.
Like I thought I was a young guy.
Nah, you're an OG.
For sure.
I'm an old head for sure.
What city was y'all in, you remember?
Indiana.
We played at this high school.
I don't remember.
Oh, they played at Pike too?
We a super old head.
That was, boy.
Y'all played at Pike.
What tournament, you remember what tournament it was?
I think it was this tournament.
Oh, man.
Guess y'all came up there to get beat in my tournament?
Actually, we won the tournament.
Left with the trophy.
Nah, that's hard, that's hard.
Pull up to see if you ain't got a bucket.
But man, first things first, man, let's talk about it, man.
Your style on the court, off the court.
See, you know what I'm saying?
Holding it down, man, what's that like, man,
to hold down the city with a brand,
just synonymous, where you from?
Yeah, I mean, it's great.
Now I'm an Undama athlete.
Yeah.
It's great.
Undama was made in Maryland, Baltimore.
And then, like all my people's back home in Baltimore,
that's all we wear is UA every day.
So it's great to put on.
Some of the coolest niggas I've seen from UA.
Yes, that's a fact.
And I got to put some more respect on UA again.
Oh, y'all need some?
I got y'all.
OK.
Hey, we can't.
This is on camera now.
Don't say that.
We go black.
I need them in all black.
They do got a black pair.
Nah, for sure.
We're going to hold you to that.
Now, see, you can't get him all black shoes.
You know what I'm saying?
He going to be using them for all the court activities.
You know what I'm saying?
Don't put the white license in him.
How you feel about entering the NBA draft, man?
Dream come true?
Yeah, when I did it, it was, I was so happy.
I did it with my teammates at school.
Yeah, I was so happy and just like,
just ready for this moment.
When did you know it was time?
Like, I feel like probably until like,
I've always had to feel them, probably until like, February, I was like, yeah, like, I've always had to feel them, but probably until like February,
I was like, yeah, like I gotta do it.
Like January, I had some bad games,
like some slumps and stuff, but then February,
picked it up and just like kept killing it.
And we just kept winning.
And then, so when you win, everybody get the love, so.
And that's interesting you say that
because you started off your college career
with a 20 and 20 game, but you ain't even even know you go to the league till February. That's interesting
I'm gonna ask those college. Keep it real. What's college easy?
Oh
Yeah
Everybody go through that slumps like yeah, I'm not like so we play games in December like big ten games in the two big ten
games in December, but big 10 games, two big 10 games in December,
but like January I had like two, three really bad games.
And then after that I was like, yeah, I got it now.
I figured it out.
For sure, for sure.
What was the biggest transition though?
Just Juju, he was basically like my big bro.
He was like one of the strongest people
I ever went up against.
Okay. So like him, he was basically like my big bro. He was like one of the strongest people I ever went up against. So like him, he was just like,
he was just so strong.
Like I played good defense,
and he hit me with a shoulder,
and finished right over top of me every time.
So.
Okay, okay.
I was very used to that.
Nah, for sure.
They get stronger in the league.
You had to hit that weight room, what?
Nah, I'm good,
because once the season was going,
once the season was going, it kind of wasn't.
I was sweet.
My boy, Justin for sure.
Obviously, me got a unique swag on the court,
kind of like an old school feel.
Man, where you get that from, man, with the long sleeves,
with short shorts, hot socks, you know what I'm saying?
Look like you got there from the 80s getting to it.
Longs, like, I wanted to wear that Melvert.
I did, like, my first two years.
But they had, like, tight compression. So I was like, nah. But like, under them, I had like my first two years, but they had like tight compression,
so I was like, nah.
But like underarm, I had the baggy ones, long ones,
so I did that.
And then my socks, like I just be,
I mean, my socks don't come over here,
but I like roll them down a little bit.
But like, I did that a lot at AAU also, so.
That was always kind of my swag.
What's the weakest part of your game, man?
Keep it real.
Don't lie.
Consistent shooting, probably.
So we got to work on your jumper?
Yeah.
No, yeah.
I'm actually cash now.
OK.
Capable shooter, though.
I understand.
Nah, for sure.
It's like the shot you hit as a freshman
hitting a game-winning shot in a tournament.
What was that feeling like, bro?
Bro, it was great. It was a big like, bro? Bro, it was great.
It was a big deal.
I didn't know it was a big deal until like,
my teammates was hyping me up.
I remember my teammate, Jacobi, he was just kept saying,
he just kept pointing at me, he was like,
you're him, you're him.
Yeah, that's it.
And then I checked my phone, I had so many notifications.
And like, it was a big deal.
I'm glad I got to do something for Merlin.
I love that place.
It was fun.
Enjoying my time, enjoying my teammates and stuff.
So, I got something.
And that's super dope.
Like you said, being from the crib,
being able to have a moment.
Cause that NCAA moment, it's submitted forever.
They're gonna show that game winner from time to time.
Again, for you to have that moment for your hometown,
for the home, that's fire, man.
All right, man, we gotta talk about that NIL, man.
Derry Queen, man.
Tell us how that came to be.
Derry Queen, I mean All right, man, we gotta talk about that NIL, man. Derry Queen, man, tell us how that came to be. Derry Queen, I mean, like, in high school,
I didn't really, like, nobody really thought about it,
but when I got to Maryland,
when I got to Maryland,
everybody just kept saying it on Twitter,
so I was like, I never thought about that.
It did, like, my and was reaching out to them,
but they hadn't went through my school
because I think it had a great connection.
And then once I hit that game, one of the next day,
I did like a little snippet for Dirt Queen.
That's fire, bro.
What's your order?
I just get to order your blizzard.
Oh, okay. You keep it simple.
Keep it simple.
Classic.
Yeah, they flip it upside down, make sure it'll come out.
Okay.
I respect.
See the advertising?
So what's it like, what's the feeling like?
You're gonna be on a billboard in Times Square,
getting ready for the NBA draft for JD Sports.
What is that like?
Like, no, it's crazy,
cause younger me, I never thought this was,
this was ever gonna happen.
And then being in Times Square,
one of the most busiest places,
places to sit in my face there, it's gonna be great.
I can't wait to sit as fuck.
Don't fuck.
What that suit looking like, man?
All I wanna say is double breast it.
Okay.
Something you probably never seen.
Even the feet, even the shoes?
No, the shoes, I couldn't do the shoes I really wanted to.
Like the shoes, just think about Tyrese Halliburton,
like something he'll wear.
Oh, OK.
Well, damn.
As the shoes that I wanted, but like I
got a few different options there.
What?
You know, what's the ice looking like?
Everybody's crazy.
I don't know.
I'm not really into it.
Me either.
I get into diamonds.
So like these two, if you want to count these as jewelry,
these are my first piece of jewelry that I got.
I don't got jewelry, but we see who do.
That's why I asked you.
Yeah.
I'm crazy if you got to.
And you only get one draft night.
All right, so look, we always ask people
want to stay in to the NBA.
We're going to ask you, what's something
that you want to purchase, a big purchase that you want to buy
once you get that check?
What are you looking forward to?
I don't know, I keep telling my mom that like, I don't know why I'm excited to pay bills.
For Haru. My boy.
His bills. Yeah, my bills.
Yeah, like having my own place, because like me living by myself at Merlin, and even at Montverde, was like great.
So just me, and buy my own car and stuff.
So like, probably those two.
OK, cool, man.
Exciting, bro.
Something wrong with independence?
All right, man.
Once you get to the league, who's some people you
looking forward to going up against?
Any idols in the league you're looking to,
you know what I'm saying, get your ones with?
Yeah, my favorite two players, Braun and Harren.
Okay.
But I also want to play against, like, the MB,
Jokic, Segun, Sabonis.
Yeah.
KD, because I know I'm going to be switching on
to a lot of people, Kari.
Yeah.
Kyrie, like, really all are great.
Okay.
If you don't have a wish list of people
you want to run down the list,
show us that competitiveism.
That's why they like you, man.
He's going to give you a shot, too.
We wish you the best, bro.
Straight up.
Yeah, for sure.
See you, y'all.
Listen, man, we're looking forward to seeing you at the next level, man.
Keep killing it, man.
Like you said, time score JD Sports, man.
Ville, my boy, Draft coming soon.
Make sure you watch our Derek Queen.
We'll be on the TV near you soon.
We out.
Welcome to the You vs. You podcast.
I'm Lex Burrow, and every week we sit down
with some of the biggest names in entertainment
to talk about the real stuff.
The struggles, the doubts, and the breakthroughs
that made them who they are.
We go deep, throwing childhood trauma,
family, overcoming loss,

Here's a sneak peek.
I'm trained to go compete.
I'm trained to be like harder,
but sometimes that mentality stops you from stopping
and smelling the flowers in your own garden.
Is it wrong to want more?
We migrated, our family migrated here.
I'm like second generation.
Who's not going to have a trauma coming from a foreign country
and you arrive in the United States and you don't speak English?

I know a lot of cops and they get asked all the time,
have you ever had to shoot your gun?
Sometimes the answer is yes,
but there's a company dedicated to a future
where the answer will always be no.
Across the country, cops call this Taser the revolution.
But not everyone was convinced it was that simple.
Cops believed everything that Taser told them.
From Lava for Good and the team that brought you Bone Valley comes a story about what happened

We dive into the competitive world of streaming,
how she's turning so-called niche into mainstream gold,
connecting audiences with stories
that truly make them feel seen.
What others dismiss as niche, we embrace as core.
It's this idea that there are so many stories out there,
and if you can find a way to curate and help the right person
discover the right content, the term that we always hear
from our audience is that they feel seen.
Get a front row seat to where media, marketing, technology,

I know what it is club 520 back again man JD Sports Times Square with another young talent man we are very excited about man you gonna catch him in the NBA draft man just did
this thing down in Texas man big guard the one and only Mr. Trey Johnson big dog we appreciate
you joining us man.
I appreciate the time I have.
Yes sir you know the vibes man we speak holly on show man. One of the best two guards coming out man.
Where you get your game from man?
Cause you play like an old school Ray Allen,
Rick Pemple's a smooth two guard man.
Denver got a little shame.
Yeah bro.
Really just from my pops working with him.
He was an older player, so those was coming
from some of the guys he was playing with growing up.
So I kinda really just got it from him.
That's funny, being here and saying you got the vibe.
But you don't say your dad had you in the gym
when he was hooping.
Most definitely.
Yeah, you can tell.
I peeped the swag and everything.
You real mature.
Like, swear to God.
Most definitely.
Where did that scoring ability come from, though?
You got a crazy, crazy arsenal, bro.
I just think it's God given on top of the work I do.
That's really what all I think it is.
It really just come easy to me.
I caught a game with you on YouTube the other day.
I was, I be scrolling around watching YouTube a lot.
You against Kason Wallace.
Yeah.
You was a young buck, but you had 50.
I had like 40 when I was a sophomore.
Yeah, yeah.
I was in there watching him play defense
in the NBA finals and then go watch that.
It's like, he a real buck.
It's facts.
Damn, what was that, an AU game?
Nah, it was a high school.
We was in the same district.
Oh, OK.
Yeah, so I played him all the way up till he was a senior.
Yeah, so to see that and then watch him get Buckeye,
you like, yeah, it's official.
Come on, man.
That's Mr. Texas right there, you know what I'm saying?
Been getting Buckeyes for sure.
Let's talk about it, man.
Outside of basketball, the swag.
I see you got the black 97s on you, Nike man.
What's your on-court preference today?
How you getting fly off the court?
On-court, I go with anything comfortable.
Kobe's, Serena's, those are probably the main two
comfortable Nike shoes I say.
And off the court, really anything.
I gotta wear anything Nike now,
but anything besides that, it don't matter.
I wear a boot, or I wear some designer.
For sure, listen man, I'll send you to the south of your
Texas, what's it like, you know what I'm saying,
going to a school, you got somebody like KD,
who got crazy shoes, Texas always been one of those shoes
to keep the fly stuff, what's it like your first time
you walk back there in the training room,
be like, oh I can get all these?
Yeah, no, it was crazy, especially when you walk
in the locker room, they got all the old KDs on the wall,
and stuff like that, so you just seeing all the different
kicks that he done came out with,
all the different shoes guys done wore.
But it's really a cheat code.
Them guys that's been there for a little while,
they got all the heat.
Don't wanna give up none of it.
All the juniors that's been there.
It was really just to focus on,
just try to be around the distractions
and try to handle it just in case I got drafted
to a bigger city. Ah.
So I really just prepare myself.
That's smart. That's smart.
Most definitely.
Austin. Nice city, boy.
I ain't never been to Austin.
You haven't.
You gotta go.
Beautiful city.
You gotta check it out.
You gotta go.
You gotta go.
You gotta come around and fire a city?
Go now before it starts getting too many people because everybody's starting to move in.
But yeah, you gotta go.
Austin and Vibe.
I've been out there one time.
It's not a fire. Listen, man, a story franchise, I mean, excuse me,
university like Texas, and you get to break one of KD Records,
what's that feeling like, man?
Man, I didn't even know.
Like, I wasn't even thinking about the record.
I ain't gonna fret.
And then it was like, and then...
That's how you know.
And then they was just saying they said it after the first game,
but I wasn't even trying to listen to it because we lost.
So I wasn't even thinking about it too much about it.
So I really didn't even think about it.
But it was kind of cool and crazy to think about.
Because like a year ago, I was talking to him about kind of the situation,
not even about Texas.
And the first game, we had to break one of his records.
It was crazy.
What, uh, how many teams you worked out for?
I worked out for four.
Okay.
So you kept the light. How many did you work out for? I worked out for four. OK. You kept a light.
How many did you work out for?
Hey, man, stop.
This ain't nothing.
We were just talking about him.
It's tears from his grand shits.
What you do, old school?
How many teams you?
I got hurt, so I only did three workouts.
Grishman.
Grishman.
I was up about 18.
Ooh.
He said, can't relate.
I've been a team in a month, though.
That's crazy.
That is. What's your it a month, though. That's crazy. It is.
What's your all-time favorite sneaker?
All-time favorite sneaker?
Yeah.
What would that be?
The John Witherspoon?
Damn, for real?
Yeah.
Thomas Flatter.
I got a pair of those.
That's different.
I grew.
I don't know.
It was just when that shoe came out, I grew so much to it.
Like that was my favorite shoe for a while.
Like I wasn't changing.
Yeah, I think he way younger than us.
You thought he was gonna say something.
I thought he was gonna say something.
Cause you see him with the classics on.
I do, I do.
Yeah, I respect it.
I respect it, I respect it.
I respect it too.
What's the strongest part of your game, man?
I'd probably say my playmaking.
Just cause, as a scorer, it draws so many eyes
and draws so many people.
Playmaking, the second easiest thing.
What's the weakest part of your game?
What's something we can work on?
Our defense, most definitely, can always be worked on.
OK.
Get it to my offense.
So now we're talking about something.
Yeah.
I like the idea.
Yeah, I like that.
And what I like about him, man, is what you know about,
he locked in. You know what I'm saying? He studied the game of basketball. You can tell by the way. Yeah, I like that. And what I like about him, man, is what you know about, he locked in, you know what I'm saying?
He studied the game of basketball.
You can tell by the way he played and stuff like that.
Where'd you get that from?
His pops into that stream is just,
I wanna be great, so you know what I'm saying?
You gotta do both sides, you gotta play,
and you gotta lock in.
I feel like it was me wanting to be great,
but it really started with my pops.
He had me, at the time, he was looking at them crazy,
but he had me watching film when I was like,
third or fourth grade.
He was recording the games, and we went back and watched it.
So I was kind of being started there,
but me doing it on my own is just part of me
being wanting to be great.
Definitely.
Who you looking forward to going head up with
once you enter the league?
Shoot everybody, all the same people.
You seen in the finals, all the same people
as you watching over TV,
the same guys you wanna play against.
Wallace might want to smoke now.
He most definitely do, He wants to smoke and he is getting back.
Yeah, he be like.
And Jeff wasn't supposed to bring that up now.
I smoked.
That's my bad.
He probably should pay right now.
He's crazy.
Nah, for sure, for sure.
What's the surprise that's been like for you?
Obviously, you know, you're going to different places,
talking, like you said, Times Square, a big monument
on the way up to celebrate y'all.
How is it, small?
I know you're probably worried about where you're going,
the basketball stuff. Are you enjoying this moment as well?
I'm most definitely enjoying the moment.
Because it's what you really dream,
so I'm really enjoying each step of the process.
Most definitely trying to soak it all in.
So, most definitely. All right, man.
I'll go ahead.
Oh, no, go ahead.
What's that draft fit looking like, man?
It's a little different, but it's solid for sure.
Okay.
That's all I'm gonna say.
You icy? No, I don't really wear solid for sure. Okay. As long as I'm not saying.
You icy?
No, I don't really wear jewelry like that.
Okay, that's true.
I told you, people more like me than you, bruh.
That's fine, bro.
Once he grace his foot on the NBA floor,
let's start looking around and go grab him a piece.
Go grab him a piece.
He's still keeping the humble right now.
I like that, I like that.
Now we typically ask, you know what I'm saying,
people what big parts they're about to make,
but obviously, on your way to that,
what's something you're looking forward to doing?
Getting a place to stay.
Man, y'all are some responsible...
I rock with this class, boy. They said shelter.
Yeah, I'm trying...
That's probably going to be my best purchase, though.
Somewhere to stay.
That's where I'm putting my focus into.
Rib or condo?
Depending where I'm going. Depending where I'm putting my focus into. Crib or condo? Depending where I'm going.
Depending where I'm going.
Yeah, you go to some of these big cities.
Cribs be crazy.
Condo.
Now, you come back where I was.
I got drafted to Atlanta.
Crib was necessary.
You know what I'm saying?
That's OK.
For sure.
Now, that's dope, man.
Listen, man, we look forward to seeing you at the next level,
man.
Congratulations, man.
You know you got fans.
If it's here at 520, tap in with Tray Johnson. For sure. All dope, man. Listen, man, we look forward to see you at the next level, man. Congratulations, man. You know, we got fans who are here for 520.
Tap in with Tray Johnson, Basho.
All right, man, we back again right at JD Sports Club 520, man.
Here with some of the up-and-coming talent in the draft, man.
So we had to tap in with this young man.
Making noise, went crazy all year.
Now it's time to celebrate here. Mr. Thomas Orver, big dawg,
appreciate you sliding on us, man.
Sir, appreciate you having me.
Basho, man, you know what I'm saying? Look, this be here energy right here, man appreciate you having me. Michelle, man. You know what I'm saying?
Look, this behead energy right here, man.
We been talking.
Yeah, boy, it came together.
You know what I mean?
I ain't seen too many boys swag a Jordan T out like that.
So I'm proud of you, boy.
You're not seeing this start already.
I appreciate it.
Yeah, I see the bobs.
You already turned it up, man.
You have to match up real quick.
OK, I'll see the energy.
We've been asking everybody what they going to get, you know what I'm saying?
What's they making?
But I can't wait to hear your question, man.
No responsible stuff, but you trying, you know what I'm saying? Go crazy for it. Uh, uh, I'm not going to be able to answer that. I'm going to be able to see that. We've been asking everybody what they gonna get, know what I'm saying, what's they making, but I can't wait to hear your question, man.
No responsible stuff, what you trying, you know what I'm saying, go crazy for.
Uh, uh, what you want me to, like, say just...
What you gonna cop, you know what I'm saying, you can get you your first big boy
purchase that league money, what you gonna grab, man?
Shhh.
Oh, yeah.
Like this, my boy rubbing his head.
Probably like, I don't know, I was thinking about something, like getting something
for like my whole family, like in general. But if it was like for me though,
probably like a car, like a new car.
What kind of car you would get?
Like a TRX, Hellcat engine.
That sounds crazy.
That sounds crazy.
Treat yourself king for sure, man.
Yeah, go ahead.
How this process been for you, bro?
Like, the ups and downs of it.
I mean, both sides of it.
I mean, it's been ups and downs throughout the whole process, but like, you know, I'm
just trying to live in the moment.
Basically, just trying to, uh, because you only live it once.
So I'm just trying to, uh, basically have fun while I'm going through it.
You know, have fun with my family and just like, you know, be calm while like the storm is like going outside.
So...
Your brother been going everywhere with you?
A little bit.
Like, when I be visiting Tia, I'm going by myself,
but like, everywhere I'm at, he's usually with me.
So, I was like growing up.
Yeah, for sure.
I was like growing up against your older brother, man.
He gave you the pill. Who gave you the pill?
Man, what was it called? First, originally, it was my father, but then like my brother, man. He gave you the pill. Who gave you the pill? Man, what was it called?
First, originally, it was my father.
But then, my brother, he was able to take care of me
as I was going through, when I was younger,
going into this high school, playing with his high school
teammates and stuff like that when I was in fifth grade.
So it's just me playing with older guys,
just trying to get myself ready for moments like these.
Well, you know, Sam Pops is an athlete.
I gotta ask you this.
How tall was you in fifth grade when you was
going to play with him?
Because you had some crazy growth sports in your life.
No, I was I think like 5'9", 5'10".
What grade?
Fifth grade.
What size shoes you wearing?
In fifth grade?
Yeah.
So like a 12?
Damn.
11.
Your mama pockets early.
By the time you was a sophomore,
how tall was you in high school?
Sophomore year, I was like 6'8, 6'9.
Yeah, 6'8, 6'9.
That's crazy.
I'd been around that.
How was it when your brother wasn't
able to beat you no more?
Mm.
That's the real question.
He should ask him.
He still beat you right now. Mmm. That's the real question. He should ask him.
He should still be you right now.
You say, how was it, like, beating...
How old was he when he first beat you?
He started taking over the 1s.
Um, you beat me in college.
No, no, he's lying.
So, I mean, he got the mic.
He don't got no mic, so you don't know.
Nah, I mean, I'm being back in like 11th grade, 10th grade.
You beat your brother in the...
Like, we was like the same height.
When I was small... Oh, when you was in college,
oh, ah, I thought you said when I was in college.
So you beat your brother when you was in college.
So you knew when you, at that moment,
you knew like, yeah, I'm gonna be all right.
Yeah.
Okay.
All right, bro, that's crazy,
because he said he's still stepping on you to this day.
Nah, he capping.
For sure.
Yeah, I've been hurt,
so I really couldn't play him.
But before that I was still a bussing duck.
They want you to follow the lineage, you know, send some of the big Georgetown grunts.
What got you to Georgetown, man?
I'll say like, really like the coaches.
I had a great relationship with them.
I was having fun on all the business that went over there.
So I felt like I could just go there and be myself
and just be like the same person I've always been.
Yeah.
One of my coaches that I played for at Wake Forest
was Coach Battle, Jeff Battle.
I know he's over there at Georgetown.
He told me some great things about you.
He had high praise for you, man.
He told me you was going to be a special player.
So your freshman year, I got a chance to watch your game.
And I was like, bro, arms is dumb long.
I don't know.
You probably got one of the longest wingspins,
probably in the draft or probably in the NBA.
Now your wingspin is crazy, but he block a lot of shots.
He good around the basket.
You got a lot of game, though.
Yeah, I didn't know my arms was that long
to like actually measure them.
So I ain't gonna lie.
Wow, they dumb long.
What's your biggest strength to your game?
You said my biggest strength?
Yup.
I'd say just reading the game.
Not a lot of people can read the game like I do,
but I'd say
rebounding and interior scoring as well.
John, I'm moving out.
So you don't got a jumper?
No, no, no, I got a jumper.
I got a jumper.
Y'all haven't seen me, man.
I've been in the gym lately.
You've been in the lab.
I've only been working on form shooting,
so that's all I can really do.
So is that something we can work on?
Is that one of the weaker part of your games?
Yeah.
Okay.
It's okay, bro.
Yeah, I know, I'm being honest.
I gotta tell the truth.
Now most definitely, obviously,
we like your footwork.
Is that from playing soccer growing up?
You know what I'm saying?
No, possibly played and all that,
you still there, y'all, early.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So soccer was actually my first sport.
Okay.
Like, basketball was like the third sport
I actually picked up on,
because then I played football for like two weeks,
and my mom took me out of that.
That's about right.
Two weeks, yeah.
She ain't want me in that for some reason,
but hey, it works out great.
What kind of soccer did you play?
Oh, at first, I was like, it was when I was younger.
So I played striker and stuff like that.
I'm about to say it.
Then I played eighth grade and I was like a goalie.
How tall were you in eighth grade?
Six-five.
That wasn't gonna work.
As a goalie, you covered it.
You got it, you got it.
You got it, you got it.
I was good, I was good.
I was doing good.
You're gonna be on the field.
You're gonna be on the world cup team.
Pop said, hey man, here you go.
Take this ball.
Take this ring, young fella.
Come on, bro.
Soccer do help a lot of players.
They say soccer and gymnastics help a lot of athletes.
Yeah, bro.
That's why his footwork is like that.
But come on, 6'10", soccer field.
Yeah, you got it.
Nah, that ain't it.
Nah, nah, nah, yeah.
Toes, knees, all that.
Before Mom took you out to football, what position was you playing?
Oh, QB. Yeah, I got the...
For real?
You probably had three things in that dirt.
Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah.
Y'all gotta remember, bro, I was not that tall.
I was tall, I wasn't that tall.
I got this.
So I was able...
He played this? He's a captain, bro. I got this. So I was like, he played D.
He's a captain, bro.
I play D, bro.
We can get the football right now.
I'll show you how I play D.
Oh, okay.
Just line him up.
Okay.
QB and D is crazy.
Tom definitely had to pull you by that one.
Yeah, bro.
He was a crash out.
Two, man.
How's it feel to be, you know what I'm saying, the big man is back in the NBA.
It's a prominent position. You look at all the teams going around right now,
they solidifying that front court for you coming in
with the way you play.
Are you excited to know what I'm saying?
It gets to NBA where they like actually value
the big men again.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I think like my type of skillset and like the way
how I play is like not as like how the NBA is today.
And I'm just like bringing it.
So like, it's just like a great feeling that I get to like,
you know, help a team win,
and try to help bring a championship or something.
Any players you model your game after?
A little bit how like, Yoke used to be reading the game.
Yeah.
I used to watch him beat a lot,
try to get like a little bit of his big range
post game and stuff like that.
And the way how the intensity that Bam be playing with,
like, try to like, just take a little bit
from like each different big.
Nah, that's three.
That's three prominent players in the league for sure.
So who you looking forward to matching up with?
Those same players?
Yeah, for sure. Yeah.
I'll say another player.
Who's the best?
Oh, Yoke is just the best big in the league.
Yeah, it might be a long day.
Yeah, chill, bro.
That might be a long day.
I can't withstand myself.
I can hold right.
You're gonna hold your own against him?
Yeah.
I mean, he killed a lot of people, so don't worry about it. You know what I mean?
Don't worry about it.
Now you on your way as well, man.
We're gonna take it back a little bit, man.
You had it crazy, you know what I'm saying?
How's the AU team, some guys that might be in draft as well.
What's that like, hooking up guys and y'all,
you know what I'm saying, all putting yourselves
in the position to be at the next level?
Yeah, so I used to come out here to New York,
like every weekend, back when I was like fifth, sixth grade,
playing with Jersey City Boys and Girls Club, AU.
So like, you know, it was just like playing that competition
up here, like, basically got me set, got me ready,
like, for moments like these.
So just playing against, like, the top players ever since I've
been, like, a young kid, like, really helped me out.
Where was that?
Where was you playing with Todd Pettiford?
Jersey City Boys and Girls Club.
That was when we was in like fifth, sixth grade.
We used to come up here, stay at our friend's crib
in New York.
Was he like that then?
Yeah.
His nickname used to be Tahaj, give me three Pettiford.
Oh, that's hard.
Yeah, bro.
He had like North Jersey rockin' at a young age, too.
Man, that's hard.
That's what's up. Yeah, man, that's dope to see y'all,
you know what I'm sayin',
to see y'all elevate all together.
I know you go through the process,
you try to enjoy everything,
why you trying to figure out the business,
but you know what I'm sayin',
for y'all to be time square, man,
they're gonna have y'all up on the billboard.
What's that feeling like, man?
Man, it's a surreal feeling.
That is crazy.
I mean, pictures don't take that.
See, as much as they want.
I'm here.
That's gonna be crazy, man. Yeah, I as they want. I'm here.
That's going to be crazy, man.
Yeah, I couldn't imagine.
All the foot traffic through here,
and you were at JD Sports with it.
I got to ask, man, you know, you get this together,
we going to JD Sports, what you grabbing, man?
What you putting on?
What's on the court?
What's the swag?
What's off the court?
On the court, probably do like a one leg,
calf sleeve or something like that.
OK.
Filthy. And a little compression shirt on the court, off the court. Stay warm. like a one leg cash sleeve or something like that. Okay, filthy.
And a little compression shirt on the court, off the court.
Stay warm.
What shoes you rocking on the court?
On the court?
Yeah.
Shit, whoopin' the 5s.
Ah.
I ain't never, these comfortable though.
I can really say these comfortable, but like,
I don't know, probably some Jordan shoe.
Like, cause I was just with Jordan brand team.
So, some Jordan shoe.
Off the court though, look for something comfy.
Like what he got on.
I'm always comfy.
What's your favorite Jordan?
My favorite Jordan?
Damn, it used to be the fours.
Class.
Aw man. I like this guy, man. Where we going next? It used to be the fours. Mm. Classy. Aw, man.
I like this guy, man.
Where we going?
I said it used to be the fours.
You don't move no?
Hold on.
Hold on.
I like this guy.
He's a true guy.
He's comfortable.
That's all I can really say.
I'm going to fall with him.
Which four?
Which fours?
Yeah, which fours?
He's younger than that.
He probably like black cats.
Nah, I don't even got the black cats yet.
I gotta get those.
With the black and yellow. What's the lightnings?
Mm-hmm. Thunder and lightnings.
Uh, nah. I'd probably say, like, the cement ones.
I like the cement ones a lot.
Oh, boy, what the clasps, yeah.
Them hard. Those are hard. Those are hard.
I like it.
Now, you went to a Jordan school in Georgetown.
I know there's some P.E.s. Please tell me, you know what I'm saying? You got blessed while you was there. Uh, yeah, I got blessed to a Jordan school in Georgetown. Know if I have some PEs, please tell me, you got blessed while you was there.
Yeah, I got blessed with a couple of Jordans.
But I don't think I got the PEs yet.
I need to go back.
I need to ask Coach Battle to give me a favor.
Coach Battle, tap in, man.
Make sure the guys scream, man.
What about the gear?
You ain't get a bunch of gear?
I was like Georgetown gear.
