You don't want to miss nothing.
So, you know, Joe, I'm feeling a little different today.
I'm feeling all right.
How do you feel today, babe?
I can tell.
Honestly, Debo, when you always keep throwing this shade, my side, understand.
I'm even, I love the Browns, I love the Steelers.
When the Steelers do good, I feel well.
When the Browns do good, I feel well when they don't.
Okay, okay, so that being the case, let me ask you a question.
When you're going to the hall, what you're going in at?
It would be a Cleveland Brown, Dee Bo.
Okay, that's all I was checking.
That's all I was checking, you know what I'm saying?
Okay.
Look, bump all that.
Let's talk about your stillis.
How are you feeling?
I see you feeling swollen-chested today.
I'm feeling real good.
You got double-towled up.
I woke up in the morning, you know, like Ricky Bobby, and we just piss excellence.
You know, when we win, I get French, you know what I'm saying.
I kind of don't know.
I kind of don't know what to do with my hands, you know.
You know, I just, what did I?
Oh.
You got rings on your fingers.
Oh, my bad.
I didn't even notice that.
They just be there sometimes.
Anyway, but, let me go here.
Let me give you a view of that one right here.
This one right here.
You go really like this one, John.
You go really like this one.
Ooh.
There's two of them things over there.
What is that?
There's two of them things over there, Joe.
Devo, I couldn't be, I couldn't be more proud.
I couldn't be more proud.
You deserve it.
You deserve it.
You work hard for those Super Bowl rings.
You worked hard for those Super Bowl rings.
You know what?
You deserve to flaun them.
And I'm here.
I'm here.
And then I'm here.
Listen.
I got the black version of it, too, though.
You know what I'm saying?
I keep it all, you know, I was just, just, yeah, that's just, hey,
I go sometimes.
Congratulations, Debo.
You know.
You deserve.
Sometimes it happened like that, you know.
I'm going to give you your flowers.
I mean, you know, I'm giving my still estate flowers.
We're giving all of them.
You're still as nation, you know, rise up.
This is what we do, man.
You know what I'm saying?
That's just, that's just how it happens, man.
You know, you're so excited.
You're so excited.
I'm just saying.
I'm just saying.
saying. We go out there, I mean, 34, 32, you know, what we got right here.
Ams Rogers, he threw four touchdowns in his debut, buddy.
He did. He had a four touchdown, zero interception game. That's the 28th time in this career, dude.
He ties, guess who? Tom Brady for the most in NFL history. Roger said to him, he said,
there's probably people in this organization that didn't think I could play anymore.
So it was nice to remind those people that I still can. I'm just happy to beat everybody a
associated with the Jets.
You know what, man?
I was extremely, extremely happy to see Aaron back in Aaron form.
That is something that we really didn't get to see a lot of last year when he was with the Jets.
So I'm happy.
How surprised are you to see how well Aaron did in this good deal?
Honestly, I'm not surprised at all.
I'm not surprised at all.
Remember I said this before, Aaron Rogers is one of my favorite quarterbacks of all time,
being able to throw the ball, putting in the positions that are amazing, he doesn't turn the
ball over.
He's not going to be the reason that they lose the game.
He's going to be the reason why they normally are going to win a game.
So I just think with even this time, the defense didn't play as good as I expected.
They were running the ball very, very free.
Paul, Bruce, Bryce Hall, he was breaking through everything.
You know what I'm saying?
Looking like he wasn't getting touched a lot of the time.
So I just love the fact that Aaron Rogers, no matter what happens, they was able to win the game.
He wasn't turning the ball over.
He threw four touchdowns.
passes, in completion, just, it was just great to see.
It was like an artist at work, and that's what I love to see that he normally does.
And at the beginning of the game, it's going to be the line protecting them, trying to
keep him upright, because he's not as mobile as he used to be.
So the first play of the game, he got sacked.
I was a little spooked.
I didn't want to see him get up, you know what I'm saying?
Like, come on line, just keep him upright.
He is a little older.
So as long as they protect him, he's going to be able to put the ball where it needs to be.
He's not going to turn the ball over.
He's not going to lose games for the stiller.
So that was just good to see him, Coach Tomlin and Cam, leaving after the joint.
Aaron Rogers, like, yeah, I don't hear nothing now.
I don't hear nothing now.
So, yeah, it was good to see.
Yeah, so I'm going to tell you something.
This is the first time I have ever watched every game that was played on a Sunday, dude.
Like, I've seen a lot of games, and this is going to sound crazy.
I was never a player that was like this, but just watching the games and not being in a position where I'm able to
control it now. I'm trying to get
like an insider who I think is going to
do what, you know, how much
you know, who's going
to win, basically, you know what I can't control
it. And
just from this week, just looking,
I believe there's a little
bit of luck
or how shall I say
missed opportunities
or
favor almost, dude,
as far as who
will have
that edge at the end, you know, you go back to Aaron. Aaron had four touchdowns and he had no
picks. It was a couple of opportunities there where they had the ball in their hand and they
missed that opportunity. You know, you get into it later in the game and you get the babble all the way
around and D.K. comes up with the ball. You know, I go to other games, you know, even at the start of
the Baltimore, you know, game, it was right there on the first drive. Raven had to
ball in his hand opportunity, he missed the opportunity, drops the ball, they go on to score
seven, you know what I'm saying?
So when I, when I, when I, when I, when I, when I, when I, when I, when I, when I'm looking
at all these games, dude, it, uh, I don't know if I'm just, you know, trying to pick out
something, you know, how you're watching film.
I'm back to, you know, watching film.
I don't see any every game.
So I'm trying to get some type of, you know, insight to, to, to, to what's going on.
Um, my, my big positives, I should say from this is, uh, you know, able to see Aaron,
you know, get back into the form that, you know,
we're used to seeing him play and really impacting the game
and in the most positive way.
Something else is the special teams.
You know, the special teams, they made big plays.
They gave the defense, well, gave the offense another opportunity that they
wouldn't have had.
You know, you got Bosworth.
He's back, you know, he looks like he's back at what the form was.
He left off last year.
so those those are positive but again as as you were saying my you say it's a little thing but my big cause for
concern is the offensive line like the fact that Aaron has a great knowledge and understanding of
the game is the reason he wasn't pressured more than he was and he was pressured during that
game even with him getting the ball off so to have him back there
and able to see it right now and get the ball off,
able to check out of things and make it a quick route.
And now, the offensive line, not being able to, you know,
get efficient run blocking, you know, no consistency in the run blocking.
And that's another thing where, you know,
Aaron had to adjust to having nows where, you know,
how it goes to an actual run game alternative,
where instead of handing the ball off,
you just throw it right now and let the receiver, you know,
know, try and get yards, you know, so you still stay ahead of the sticks.
That was cause for concern for me as far as the offense went.
The defense, dude, we got to be able to stop the run.
That's for sure.
I was not, you know, impressed or happy with how, you know, our D-line was playing,
how the whole defense was playing to be, to be honest with you.
we didn't have any, like, real consistency and stopping the run.
I think they almost average, what, five yards of carry.
I would think so at least.
Yeah.
So when you, you know, you add that to the fact that we didn't have real consistent, you know,
quarterback pressure, you know, on, on, on him to get him to be able to, you know,
have to let the ball go sooner than he wanted to.
That's my, you know, that's my biggest.
issue. I don't see it as a panic. I just see it as concerned. It's the first game. You have
guys that come out and play up. You have some guys that may get a little nervous and may not play
up to the level that they're, you know, capable of. I will put, I will put a lot of that
on with the Jets. I think Justin Fields played an amazing game. I think him with Bryce Hall being
able to have that run game consistent. He was using his legs. He looked like a wide receiver. He looked
like a running back out there when he was toting the ball, hitting the edge, full speed,
you know what I'm saying, trying to get those first downs, and then some of those passes to
Wilson was actually on the money. And when that run game is that good, when Bryce Hall's breaking
runs for 10, 15 yards, and then Justin Fields is like doing that read option, taking it and
pulling and running for 15 yards, it's going to bring up the defense. So I think he was doing
a good job of, you know, just keeping us kind of on our heels. We didn't know really what to do.
If he was going to run it, if Hall was going to run it, or if he was actually going to throw.
Well, that's what happens when you can't, you know, when you can't stop the run, you're opening up a whole can of worms because now the play action comes into play.
And they were keeping fields, you know, upright for most of it.
So now he's having the time to actually look and see and know where he needs to put the ball without being rushed to say, okay, I think it's going to be here because I'm feeling this pressure.
I'm either going to get, I'm either going to get hit, sacked or whatever.
and without having a consistent, you know, you can't consistently stop the run game.
They were just basically almost like having their weight, you know, at points of the game.
And if it wasn't for, you know, you know, Aaron going and doing something that puts him, you know,
like you said, the 20th time, four touchdown and no interception game.
And that was one of the big things where, you know, we didn't have a turnover.
They did.
It gave us another possession.
And the outcome, you know, it.
It's the outcome.
The back of ARA, too, like you said, he was, he was getting it to different options,
a lot of different players.
I didn't even know who 15 was when he got the first touchdown pass at the game.
I worked out when he works out at the same gym with my trainer out there in Arizona.
That's why I knew, that's why I knew who he was.
Shout out, shout out 15, because he got that he was spazzing.
Yeah, yeah, he did his thing.
He did his thing for sure.
What about?
Oh, in my last, let him hold.
Before you go, before you go, I had to say the thing, too.
You should, you talk to my man, bankroll bars.
That's what I called him when I was there with distillers.
Bankroll bars.
Bankroll bars.
He's going to come through in the clutch.
He's looking sweet.
He's doing what he got to do.
I love bars.
Me and bars have a great relationship.
Every time he kicked it off, when I ran, defense ran out, me and him dapped up every time.
I love him.
He had an off year a couple years ago, but we went to the Pro Bowl together, and that's another
clutch part, special teams.
Him, Danny Smith, Coach Danny Smith, all that gum in his mouth,
he's one of the best special teams coaches for sure still in the league.
He's the man.
So I think him with bank robes and then we got, oh, we got veteran Arod.
Their team is just looking like, and now, like I said, wait a way to just win.
Win, and you can understand now, let's go two and O.
You know what I'm saying?
We got the Seahawks coming to the crib.
So shout out Bankroll Bodge.
Shout out Danny Smith.
They look good we won.
Definitely, definitely.
So let's get over here to this, this big.
Bill's Ravens game, man.
The Ravens had a 15-point lead, dude,
and during the four-court.
It says they had a 91,
99.1 win probability, 40 to 25
with less than five minutes to go.
But we got Derek hearing,
costly fumble in the fourth quarter.
My thing is this on this.
I'm not going, again,
I told you I was watching these games, man.
I don't watch all these games.
So I'm going into the category again of, you know, missed opportunities and all that stuff.
So the first quarter, you had Josh Allen and he's going down.
He throws the ball, the Raven straight into his hand, he drops it.
They end up scoring, they end up scoring seven points on that, right?
So in my head now, like I said, I'm watching all these games.
Maybe, you know, the luck is leaning towards them, right?
Yes.
And then you get to the end of the second, end of the second quarter begin, you know,
and 30 seconds left, I believe they had.
And you let them go down there and score three points.
You know what I hate?
I hate the pre-event defense, dude.
I think it prevents you win.
Play regular defense until your corner.
You go and you give him, you give Josh Allen all this time.
You rush no one.
Like no one on that plate.
and you think he's not going to find a way to come up with that,
that makes no sense.
Now, again, going back to the left thing,
you get into the third quarter, you know, they had a penalty.
The penalty ends up gives them an opportunity.
The bills go down.
They score again, okay?
It's, you know, yeah, it may be where it be, okay?
So you get to the fourth quarter, right,
and they're still, to me, as if they're playing,
you know, their regular offense and defense.
And I believe it was cooks.
You know, they pressured him.
He did a little pass.
He goes down and he gets almost, he almost gets the touchdown, right?
So they go back and forth for a high second.
Then Baltimore, they go.
And I believe it was about 12 minutes left in the fourth quarter, okay?
And they score and then they missed the PAT.
That's when they're talking about it was 25 to 40.
In my head, I'm like, yo, this is a two-score game.
And in these two scores, you could possibly lose
because if they go for two both times,
that puts them at 41, you're at 40.
That's what I'm thinking in my head, right?
So the game goes, they go to the run the ball,
try and burn the clock,
and it looks like to me the defense goes to the prevent the big pass
all that stuff right yes what happens again i told you i've been watching these games i'm
feeling like that luck thing hitting the game it's still 90% 90% you but you get the tip pass
that goes to coleman for a touchdown right buffalo now remind you they still have all their
timeouts okay Baltimore's going back on the field okay the very first play fortune misfortune
three minutes left,
Derek Henry
follows the rock, dude.
Buffalo scores, okay?
Yes, you do.
They score
two minutes,
well, I don't think it was
a little after two minutes,
I think it was like 150 something
that was left on the clock.
Now, mind you,
they still got all their timeouts.
Right then and there,
I'm like, this is not going to end well.
I believe that they're going to lose the game.
How do you lose a game?
I don't care that they lost.
I do care that they lost the game.
Only reason I care that they lost the game is the Ravens, I want them to lose.
I want them to lose all the time.
I wish everybody could have lost.
The only reason Cincinnati or Cleveland could have lost because they was playing each other, right?
So I want them to lose.
But what I hate seeing is defenses that it looked like to me go and start shutting it down
and packing it up because they think they're far enough ahead that you can lax into it,
even with the defensive calling.
like the defensive calling didn't even look the same to me it looked like a you know up you keep everything up front don't let them get big plays you know tackle to catch like I don't think that's something you can do obviously it's not something you can do when they have Josh Allen plus they got like all their timeouts then boys didn't even have to use a time out until it was what after a minute something when they got the ball back it's and then again they went to the
Ravens, hey, they go run the ball and make them use their timeouts.
Or it don't work if they're knowing that you're just going to run the ball.
You've got to let Lamar open up that playbook, give them an opportunity to make a play.
Like, you win some, you lose something.
Hindsight being 50-50, I'm thinking they would have like to have took a chance of passing
the Rock and seeing what happened.
You feel like they were playing, like, not to lose instead of to win the game.
I felt like when they got to that fourth quarter with the 12 minutes left, they started playing to run the clock out and make them use up clock to try and score.
It wasn't the same offense that they had the first, you know, three and so quarters.
It wasn't the same defense that they played the first, you know, three or so quarters.
I feel like a thousand percent.
The part where you were saying that you're watching the games and the misfortune happened,
when my man, you're up 15 points, right?
And you have Derek Henry and you have Lamar Jackson.
When he fumbled that ball, that's just, that's just unfortunate.
We can't have that when we're trying to close out the bills.
You know what I'm saying?
That's just something that can't happen.
And then when we do get the ball back, understanding, they only need a field goal to beat us.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, not only do, they don't have to just score.
They just need a field goal.
We need to keep the ball.
away from Josh Allen.
Nothing that we've done is showing me
that we're going to be able to stop him
with our defense.
So it's fourth and two.
I'm going forward.
I'm heading to jump to Lamar.
Lamar and Derek Cameron,
we're running a re-option.
We're doing something
with maybe like a little past option
in the plat.
I'm keeping the ball in our hands.
We're going to determine
if we're going to be able to close this out
with a fourth and two.
One play to win the game.
You get this first down.
Now you can basically kneel it out.
You punted it back to Josh Allen
depending on your defense,
which has shown me we can't stop him.
right now.
You know what are we doing?
After the third, it looked like they couldn't stop him at all.
He needs to get a field goal.
So, like, at the end of the day, what my thing is, everything being what it was,
we're up 15, Derek Henry fumble, all right, boom, they got the ball back.
They scored.
They're going to get the ball and score again.
We'll get a field go, something.
I'm not letting him get the ball back if I'm the Ravens.
You know what I'm saying?
So that's my mindset.
You got to play to win the game.
You're already playing back, letting them just dink and dunk down the field and scoring you.
Keep the ball in your best player's hands and try to,
get that first down to close it out don't don't leave it on the on the defense so i think that's
where they messed up yeah uh i guess derrick derrick said um he said i told my teammates after the game
that the loss is on me i own it like a man i got laxic days ago they made a play but i put this on
this loss on me i'll take care of the ball i feel like it would be different it would be a different
if i take care of the ball i feel like it would be a different situation i don't i don't yes if he does
that it, you know, it makes it to where they have a better opportunity to win, but I think
it was a combination of what it looked like to me, you know, the offense trying to burn time
and the defense trying not to get big plays, you know, chalked up on them and just playing.
You're going to play calling. You got to stay aggressive. Yeah, you got to stay. Come on. Don't act like
we're not trying to, we're not trying to just walk out of here. We want to beat them. We want
to continue to score points. You know what I'm saying? Not like looking at the clock, clock watch.
Right. So, you know, you go in a situation like this and you lose, you know, that right there is going to wear, you know, on your confidence, you know, going into another situation where you may be in that same, you know, in that same situation. And now you're kind of, you know, things start going. They get a little touch here. They get a little something there. You know, that's something that may creep into, you know, some guy's minds. I'm hoping that it's not. But, you know, you know,
You know, when you're out there calling and you're playing through it,
especially when you can't make the calls as a offensive, sorry, as a defensive play caller,
and you're taking your calls from, you know, the coordinator, it gets, it gets frustrating.
And I think now, too, it's starting to get to a point where the Ravens got to start looking at.
It's really, it's nobody else but the bills or the chiefs.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, they start, like, it gets a little tight in these situations.
There's no other teams are beating the Ravens in this game.
They have 15 on anybody else.
I'm not seeing them losing.
I can see if it's the bills with Josh Allen or the Chiefs of Patrick Mahomes where they've been in a situation.
They just got a little sticky, got tricky where they just can't close out these teams.
I don't know why.
Like you said, the play calling too many get old nervous.
You got to give, like I said, it's 90 percent, you know, the player.
You know, you got to give credit to Josh Allen, you know, the running.
He went, he went, what, 33 for 46 with?
with almost 400 yards passing, two touchdowns,
you know, along with, you know, two more scores on the ground, you know.
So you can't just, you know, say it was, he, he bawled out no doubt, no question,
but the Ravens, you know, they gave him, I believe they gave him a little help by making it,
you know, a little easier and not putting the pressure on him,
not playing your defense the way you were playing it before.
You know, you allowed him to actually become the bill's all-time rushing leader in that game
for touchdowns, you know what I'm saying?
Like the guy came to the Russian leader for a football team and, you know, in a franchise, you know, history.
That's, that's wild, you know.
Should Josh Allen be an early MVP favored after this, you think?
I think so for sure.
Like, this, he, him, the way that he does it, the way that he goes out there and consistently
uses his legs, if he got to use his legs, he threw the ball 46 times for almost 400 yards.
You know what I'm saying?
So whatever they need him to do, he gets it done.
and it's going against the Baltimore Ravens.
They put up 40 points and they put up 41.
So, I mean, like, these numbers, the stats, what he's been doing.
I mean, obviously, he needs to be in one of the tops for MVP contention right now.
Yeah, yeah, I would say that.
But again, you know, it's week one.
Let's let's not jump the gun.
I mean, reigning MVP, you know, we'll get past that,
although I think Lamar should have had it last year.
But I was good, I think Lamar should have had it last year, for sure.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
But, you know, you got to look at, you got to look at, you know, other games.
You got to look at other quarterbacks.
I like Aaron, you know, that was a 136 rating or something like that.
Like, like, come on.
I know he did something.
He came back.
He did all that, you know.
But, you know, Aaron did it.
You know, he was getting pressured.
You know, he didn't, he didn't have a run game with him, you know.
I like, I like Aaron.
I mean, it's probably because he's the black and goal.
I'm not the baby.
I love Aaron.
Aaron threw for four tutties.
you know what I'm saying, to multiple different receivers.
And it's not like, and D.K. McCab didn't have it the craziest game.
Right.
He spread it around.
We didn't rush for too many yards.
So if it was for him, you know what I'm saying?
The stillers would have been in a completely different situation.
For sure, for sure, especially with defense struggling and, you know, everything else.
Yeah, that, like I said, I'm going towards, you know, I'm going towards the black and yellow because, you know, we.
You get real French, man.
You know what I'm saying?
I get real French.
I started doing things like talking with my hands.
I don't know why because I'm not really that kind of person.
You know what I'm saying?
But, you know, I do that.
And then, you know, they let Josh Allen do that.
And then the Bills fans, they got crazy with it too.
They start putting their hands on people, man.
Like somebody threw a drink of Derek Henry during his touchdown run.
And I believe Lamar, Lamar and.
wasn't he got shoved in the head dude
in his helmet
bro like what are you doing in that situation
um you know
I'm gonna try to stay away from the crowd
but at the end of the day
he was hot
he's seen his man Henry get slapped inside the head
I saw him jumping there
give him a little shove
said he would hit him in the head too though
did he got in the head too
only see him in the head
yes that he pushed he pushed
dude didn't do nothing the first
the first person
he pushed in the head
dude didn't do not
then he went
the same cat
pushed Lamar
and Lamar
pushed him back
like what are you doing
like
like what do they do
to these fans man
it's not okay
to keep putting your hands
on people
you know
but you know
they need to
I don't know
that Lamar did
what he had
listen
listen
if it's me
if I'm the commissioner
you need to lock
them up
do you realize that
In some states, assault is simply me saying, I'm going to kick your ass.
I just made you fearful.
That's assault.
Now, battery in some states is just unwanted touching.
That's worse, at best case, like, it's battery.
Worst case, it's assault and battery.
What are we talking about?
Y'all talk about protecting the players.
The NFL shield talked about protecting the players.
That dude should have charges put on him.
and he should be sitting in jail
ready to go to court
protect the players
and everything,
not just where it's head trauma
and everything else
that y'all really worried
about your wallet
and not the player
at all costs
at every situation.
You are not lying.
If they will be getting charged
with assault and battery,
I promise you they will not
put hands on any players
that I think that would be for sure.
Right.
Like I said,
assault is just unwanted touching
in some,
you don't put your hands on people people won't put their hands on you yeah nobody touch nobody
the nobody touch nobody what your parents always said you keep your hands to yourself you treat people
the way you want to be treated you know what I'm saying just those simple things that's what we didn't
get into the basics let me pose a question let me pose a question let me you don't even know what I'm
talking about I ain't I say you got to look at the uh you guys I'll send you to uh this
The shot, the shot.
Send me to that.
Yeah, I'll send it to you.
Let's go on over here, man.
Let's see what your brownies did with the Bengals.
So the Bengals beat the Browns, 17 to 16, man.
Dang, the Browns outgained the Bengals, 327 to 114 and had the ball on nearly 36 minutes, dude.
But it wasn't enough, brother.
What went good?
What went wrong?
what do you think the Browns could have did better to come out and edge that game off?
So the Brown's defense, shout out to the defense.
I was going to lie, the first drive, Chase Brown just drove the ball straight down the field.
He was rolling through everything to score.
They tightened up.
Miles Garrett did amazing, had sacks.
It's just we need the end of the day.
We, Jamar Chase, Higgins, they have Joe Burrow, they have an explosive offense.
We kept them to 17 points.
We got to figure out a way to score a little bit more points.
I think Jerry Judy ended up, he dropped some passes in some particular spots.
We just got to be able to get points on the board, man.
Be able to make consistent first downs, keep drives going, and put points on the board.
I think that was just the biggest thing.
Our defense did well.
Our offense just can never, we can't really establish identity.
We don't know what our identity is.
So I think that's the main thing for the Browns.
But I'm really excited for the defense, but the offense still.
How you think, how you think Flacco playing, man?
Joe.
He didn't do, he didn't do awful.
He didn't do awful.
He didn't do awful. He put, I don't think that, I don't think some of our receivers
helped them out, you know, and I don't think our run game obviously helped them out either.
You know, he's not going to be a guy.
He threw the ball 45 times.
You know what I'm saying?
That's a lot of those for Joe.
I think we need to have more of a run game to be able to lean on it for him.
Like him stepping back throwing the 45 times is not a winning process.
for the Browns to win a lot of games.
I don't think.
I think we need to be able to.
Yeah, I didn't think, I didn't think Cincinnati had that good of a defense.
And especially along with how, you know, the Browns had been doing
in previous years running the ball, I thought it would be one of those situations
where they could possibly, you know, squeeze it out at the end.
But like you said, to see Joe in there doing, you know, 45, you know, passes,
that's not something that I expected, you know.
45 passes and we throw one tidy
and two picks we can't be having the turnovers
That's the part way now
Hey one of the picks ain't his fault
One of the picks ain't his fault
It came about his hand
That's the Jerry Judy
That's the Jerry Judy.
That's what I said to Jerry Judy draw
But that's where I'm talking about the turnovers
We just can't be giving the ball
Up we got to make sure we got to be
At least get three
At least get three
The ends drives when we need to be able to get some points
So, I mean, I think just we got to catch the ball
and hopefully we got to run the ball better
and not have Mr. Joe Flacco dropping back 45 times
because that is not what I think is our formula to win games.
Okay, yeah, for sure.
So let's get on over here to the Packers, man.
The Packers beat the lines 27 to 13.
Jordan Love through a pair of touchdown passes
and Parsons had a sack in Green Bay's debut.
What did you think of that game, man?
the outcome did you expect it?
Did you think that the Packers would win?
I thought it was going to be a lot closer than this.
I thought the Lions and the Packers were more like on the same level
to see who was going to be on the top of their division.
But at the end of the day, the Packers, like I said,
I mean, Jordan Love balled out and Michael Parsons,
he didn't play as many snaps.
But like his effort to the ball, his, you know what I'm saying?
He got him a sack.
And like when he was chasing, when he was chasing,
the quarterback, he looked like he didn't have a chance.
His effort, his energy,
loves him being around the team, man, he brought,
he brought some juice. I'm going to take back
what I said to him. He looks very happy.
I think it might be a good thing for everybody to be
in the facility on Tuesdays in Wisconsin.
That's not a bad thing.
You know what I'm saying?
It's a good thing. It's a good thing.
It's a good thing anywhere do on Tuesdays
because you know everybody is dedicated
to that same thing. A thousand percent.
And nothing else is coming before that.
It's the season. It's the season.
When they had a day off, where would we rather be
but to study the tape, the study the film,
to get right, you're going to get the extra lip.
That's that extra.
That's the extra.
That's going to be the difference.
Yeah, I think Jordan, I'm with you.
I think he played excellent.
And, you know, again, you know, I go back to the same thing.
You know, it was a little opportunity there
where they had a ball in their hand
and they could have got it going the other way.
You know, I'm just looking for something
that'll give me an ass.
That's all it is.
No, for sure.
I'm not looking for anything.
Thibo, trust me, as a fan,
when you're watching these games and you start to see it,
You like, you know, when you were planning like this, stuff happens.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, oh, no, he just stripped them.
But you like, when you're watching, you like, yeah.
I think the big thing for Detroit was, oh, sorry, for Green Bay was they gave Jordan the time that he needed to do what he needed to do.
They blocked them well.
I was thinking that, you know, Detroit would be able to get, you know, more pressure than they did, would, you know, would be able to stop, you know, what was going on.
The other thing is that both sides of Detroit's offensive and defensive coordinators, like, they changed.
They're gone.
Again, it's new guys in there.
And as much as people don't want to say, you know, we're still got the same system, nothing to change.
Well, you got a different play caller, man.
That changes a lot.
You know, sitting in there with Dick LaBoe, as long as I had him, you know, it was a blessing.
Dick LeBoe would sit on the sideline and he didn't even have a chart.
he'd sit there and he'd be lied.
And he'd call the defense from his head by looking at the personnel.
So when you're a, you know, when you're a coordinator, you want to be a great coordinator,
great offensive, especially a defensive coordinator.
You're playing a game of chess with the offense coordinator.
Yes.
It's times, well, all of Coach LeBow's defenses, every, every defense has one weakness.
When you start trying to cover more than one weakness, you make holes in it.
And he would tell us, okay, listen, we're going to run this.
If this happens, that's on me because that's on the defense.
So he's out there.
He's playing chess.
And he's trying to make better moves than his offensive coordinator opponent.
And I think when Detroit lost those two coordinators to head jobs,
When they hired the other two dudes so they could, you know, keep the same system, and that's a good thing to do.
They were thinking that the turnaround of, you know, playing out the offense, playing out the defense would be the same.
And it's not the same because now you have to let that new coordinator get into a groove get a feel of the game.
Just as we have players get a feel of the game, when you have a offenses or a defense coordinator that gets a fill of the game,
he can make better cause that are dictated to make better plays against certain formations
and, you know, everything else.
That way it gives you a better opportunity to have, you know, better play.
A thousand percent.
Like, I'm with you.
I still believe that, you know, Green Bay was going to win the game.
But I didn't believe that it would get, you know, as sideways as it ended up getting,
which really the score doesn't justify how, you know, how sideways it was.
Like, they couldn't even run the ball.
That's unheard of for Detroit, you know, in the last previous so many seasons.
Especially how we talked about their running backs, man.
Yes.
You got, you got a two-headed monster over there.
And they came out there and just, just shut it down.
I believe what, even with the, what's his name, the faster guy, not,
Not David, not Montgomery.
Gibbs.
Yeah, Gibbs.
Like, I think Gibbs caught like 10 passes for 60 something, 40-something yards or something.
Like, that's unheard of.
That man had 31, 31 yards on 10 catches.
31, I lied.
He had 31 yards on 10 catches.
Yeah, like, that's just unheard of.
I think, you know, Green Bay came out there ready to get a job done, and they got it done.
I think you made a good point, too, about the coordinators changing.
My boy, Aaron Glenn, the head coach of the Jets, he was my DB coach in Cleveland when I first got there.
One of the best DB coaches I ever heard was really on me about technique, tackling, you know what I'm saying?
Being in the right position, very, very, coached me very, very hard.
And that's what I needed and that's what I like.
And that's what made me, kept me accountable for everything because he played in the league too.
Aaron Glenn had 41 picks while he played in the league.
I had nothing but respect for a man that played and is literally.
really just giving me genuine gems wants me to be good.
So that coordinator switching and not getting that from AG, that energy, that juice,
it could be different for Detroit.
You know what I'm saying?
It's another man trying to give you the same calls as AG, but just don't know what's going on.
You got to have that feel for the game.
You say a chess, you're setting them up for, oh, now, we're going to do this, do this, do
this, and then we're going to run it with this little blitz, you know what I'm saying?
So just knowing you're trying to put the offensive coordinator in a different position,
you never know what this de-coordinate is doing.
Hopefully, you call it, you're teaching the same defense,
but you don't have the same play-calling vibe.
Yeah, yeah, for sure.
You got to have a feel for that game.
And then also, it's not just the feel for it.
You got to have a feel for it depending on the players you're going against.
What is that offensive strengths?
What is their weaknesses?
What is the likelihood of, you know, so on and so forth?
But, you know, after seeing this, do you think the, you think to pay the,
pooh.
Oh, backer's teeth again.
Teeth again, you know what I'm saying?
You think the Packers are the...
Anything where I'm pressing against my mouth, dude.
It's a pop off on the...
Do you think the Packers are the favorite in the NFC North?
I do. I do.
Especially they didn't...
They haven't took it anything away.
Jordan Love is starting to play better ball.
And Michael Parsons, they're on the defensive side.
And, yeah, they look ready, man.
So, I mean, especially after beating the Lions like this,
I don't know if it was better Packers, bad Lions,
but I'm going to go with better Packers,
because I don't think Joy and Love is getting any worse
and Michael Parsons on the team coming through,
bringing the juice and energy
and speaking so highly about dudes,
I'm switching my whole vibe up about dudes
me and the facilities now too
because the more I think about it,
you have a football season one year,
you've got to be there every day.
That's your vibe.
Monday's, Monday, good Mondays, Tuesday,
we're going to get the preparation
to get a jump on the next week.
So, I mean, I love everybody being in there.
So I think...
You know what I didn't like in season?
is the off season and guys
would go on vacation and go do
whatever like actually away
from anything not doing
I didn't I didn't like that
like that's time that you could be
using to try and get better
that's just the way I felt about it
you know once the season started
I'm a person that I wasn't going anywhere
until it was done
and you know that's what it was
if you had a lot you know what I'm saying
you're in every day
what would you do Debo would you get
you don't you don't
so it depends
It depends.
As soon as the off-season was out,
if everything was good and we did well,
I'm going straight to training.
If everything, my body is a little week,
then, you know, I'll take maybe a few weeks off,
maybe three, four, six weeks off,
whatever it may be,
and then I'll get to training.
If we did terrible, I'm leaving as soon as the season over with,
and I'm going to train.
I'm getting on the first flight smoking
that evening.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, I'm going to, I'm going to my trainer and we hitting the ground running.
So I was a person that found out quickly that it's easier to stay in shape if you never
get out of shape.
Yeah.
Especially as you get older, you know, when you're younger, you can go in there and say,
okay, yeah, I can take a couple weeks or, you know, and come back.
And the older you get, the less time you can take off, the more things you got to do to recover.
so that you're able to go out there and perform.
I wish you.
Yeah.
I don't think it's no real, for real, I wouldn't think it was a real, like, a takeoff.
If you were ever to go on vacation, I mean, as soon as you get done, you need to be still getting it in, have your trainers or whatever you, whatever you do kind of be set up, I feel like.
And I don't think once I first got out, once I first got out, like, once I started getting older, I would probably need just a good two, three weeks.
And I'm saying with doing those two, three weeks, we're still working out.
But we're not doing no, like, cleats.
football stuff, like right back to it.
I think there's different.
There's like off-season training sessions.
You know what I'm saying?
But there's no point that you're not doing anything.
You should always be working on something,
getting your body right, still lifting, still doing certain things.
But there's a different joint so that not right after season,
I'm right back to cleats.
No.
The point is, Joe saying, get your ass in there on Tuesday and get some work done.
Yes.
Make yourself better.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, yeah.
Like we can't have what we had last week on all.
or on Sunday or Monday, whatever it may be.
We got to get in here and get better.
So Detroit, like, they need to get better on the offensive side.
Like, are you concerned with Detroit's offensive performance?
Do you think it is caused to start maybe doing some furniture moving?
No, it's super early in the season.
They still got them guys, man.
I know that they're going to go in there.
It's just depending on the coaching.
They got to go give hard, real talk.
When these meeting rooms come and they start to watch who's missing their blocks,
why is it looking like this?
Because the talent isn't gone.
We still have the same roster.
We still got these same players.
So we got to make sure like this, the hard earned facts, who's not balling?
Why are you not balling?
This isn't up to par.
So they got to really get into some meeting rooms and figure it out.
Because I don't think that the players hasn't changed as much.
They still have the same running back tandem back there, a lot of the same linemen.
So I think it's just being able to look in the mirror and figure out this, this ain't going to work for us.
So they just got, they got to get better, but they got to get better fast.
Yeah, yeah.
Speaking of, you know, poor performances on offense, the coach beat the Dolphins, 33 to 8.
Two are completed 14 to 23 passes for 114 and a touchdown.
But he threw two interceptions, lost a fumble, lost a fumble for a second turnover,
multiple turnover game in the past three starts.
Was this performance, was this a bad performance?
or just the sign of Tua?
What do you think?
Man, I, the bad performance, for sure.
I mean, when you throw two picks and lose a fumble,
that's not, that's not a good game.
But at the same time, I'm not going to put it all on Tua,
because at the same time, the Colts did not score.
So the Dolphins defense did terrible out there and insistent.
Tewis did not play well in any shape of the imagination,
but their whole team dropped the ball.
in this game.
Dolphins defense looked terrible.
Tua looked terrible.
Tariq was visibly pissed on the sideline, obviously,
because, I mean, this isn't what he wants to do out there.
So, I mean, they just need to do a whole little re-evaluation of what they got going on.
So you think they should go ahead and break up Tua and Tyree?
Oh, for sure.
Yeah, that's been.
Been done.
Been done.
Tyreek is, after he told them that he didn't want to be out there and Tua came back,
like, man, you need to be doing your thing.
And instantly, first game.
soon as things go bad, Tua has one of these games.
You think Tyreek is not, you think Tyree is going to be,
there's going to get a better friendship once they start playing bad
and he's already pissed?
Listen, when it go bad, you got to pull in, you got to get tighter.
You got to go closer.
You know what I'm saying?
That's like when things are going bad in life.
You don't pull away from God.
You pull it closer.
You get into your word more.
What are you talking about?
You got to pull it closer.
This is not, this is not the word.
This is not the word.
This is not the word.
This is Tyreek.
to her and I'm not I'm not I'm not listen you also got to look at the fact that the coach bruck
they scored on every possession like dude was dropping dimes over there like that's the first time
what in I don't know how long it is that you had a team score on every possession like they went
out there and they did something that that hadn't been done in a long long time like once
the last time that was done 1977 yeah
Okay, and then what, uh, uh, uh, Jones, dude, he does this.
His first time back, his first time, uh, making his, uh, making his debut with, with, uh, with the Giants.
He went out there and did exactly what he did here.
Like, the only other time it was done or the last time it was done before this was him doing it with the, with the Giants.
So, Danny Dimes.
Yes, Danny Dimes. That's what they're calling him.
Danny Dimes.
I'm trying to figure out who Danny Dimes.
was it then I go and look and I'm like it's him oh okay when he's doing not you can you can
change the name to dimes that's what I'm saying it's no problem balling my man it's no it's no
problem with that they whooped bro he had that that's what I'm saying the first scored on every
single possession yes they did not not score so danny dines man deserves all love if I was the
dolphins I would be pissed too because you got scored on every time
and you only score eight points.
So there's not a good day in Miami.
Not a good day.
Yeah, speaking of his old team, the Giants,
the commanders beat the Giants 21 to 6.
So Newark offense did not look competitive with Russ Rilsson running it.
Rush was pressured on 16 of 45 dropbacks, 36%
and handed the pressure poorly.
He was two of 12 for 26 yards and was sat twice when pressured.
New York, man, it's just 234 yards of total offense, brother.
They averaged 3.2 yards of rush and stumbled twice in the red zone.
You think they should give a dart opportunity?
Give him a look.
I said it earlier.
We're going to give that that was bad.
So I said we're going to give.
That's the warning shot.
That's the morning shot.
We say we're going to give him three games.
And I love Russ.
That's my good man.
But it wasn't looking too good.
Dave, I know he's not trying to pull a plug already.
He wants to give him a couple of more chances.
But I think if it looks like this again, week two, I don't see why not.
You kind of know what you got.
But you don't want to throw your man out there and then Dart be out there getting hemmed up.
You don't want to just throw him out there and make sure your other talent is absolutely performing.
So if neighbors, I think we got to get him going.
Just start throwing him the ball.
So if Russell can get his relationship with neighbors going, get some points on the board, it may not get him kicked out.
But if he looks like this again, week three, Dart is probably going to be out there.
If you got your quarterback getting pressured, you know, I don't know if I want to just throw him out there and put him in the same situation, you know, unless he has a higher understanding and IQ of where to go with the ball and he can get it out faster, that's something that, yeah, you can look at and do.
But putting him in there with a learning curve of not having a run game or, you know, an offensive line that's going to be able to protect.
him consistently, I don't, I don't know if that's the thing to do either.
Yeah, they might just be throwing them out the drive.
They do that thing.
And I don't, I mean, they kind of did that with your guy, right?
That's over in, that the coach right now, right?
Yeah, but he, that's what I'm saying.
Is it, is it the talent around whoever is the quarterback or is it the quarterback?
Because we got Danny Dimes looking like amazing over there.
And then we got Russell Wilson coming to the spot.
I'm like, so you never really know.
People didn't think, that definitely didn't think this highly of Daniel Dimes when he was in New York.
Yeah, I'm thinking he got to be able to do better than two or 12, you know, with pressure.
I mean, that's what, seven, six percent completion, something like that.
It can't, it got like, he got to do better, but at the same time, like, you don't want to, you don't want to put him out there if you don't have to.
at some point
if it keeps going
like this
they're going to
have to
because you
didn't draft him
just to sitting there
yeah
I would hope
Russell Wilson
just I would hope
that they can
block it up
for him
like you said
too
had a lot of
pressure coming
so but then
you got to be
able to know
what to go
with the ball
quick
and that's
pretty what
he's normally
pretty good
at making
quick decisions
so if you
got the pressure
coming
hot routes
you know what
like you said
now balls
being able
to just get it
out of your
hands
for sure
you got to be
able to get
that thing
out of your
hands
But like I said, you got Aaron over there, again, the protection is not great, but Aaron has a great understanding of where the ball needs to go.
There's a great understanding of reading the defense, alternative, you know, check down, run game because we, we aren't running the ball effectively, things like that.
A good quarterback can effectively, you know, equal out a lot of a lot of bad things or things that aren't up to par.
Yeah.
So the Bucks
Ooh, the Bucks beat the Falcons
23 to 20 in dramatic fashion
Um
That's my guy
What's his name?
Um
That's Baker Mayfield, right?
Baker Mayfield.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Always ruling for Baker, man.
Always been for Baker, man.
Yeah, he threw a, he threw a pass in there
that was like on a rope, dude.
Like, I was like, I was surprised.
I ain't go lie.
Like, I mean, not really surprised.
I was impressed, I should say.
I should say I'm impressed.
Yeah.
I wouldn't, man, Baker was never,
Baker always was just solid, solid, solid, competent quarterback.
I wish back in the day, if the Brown, they had Baker.
We could have kept them signing for a nice little deal,
but kind of kept the quarterback position there good,
but that's neither here nor there.
That's neither here nor there.
Yeah, Baker completed 17 to 32 passes, dude, for 167.
Three touchdowns, dude.
Yeah, he slung that thing a little.
The rookie caught two touchdown passes, including a go-ahead 25-yard with 59 seconds left remaining.
That's why.
But man, Berkey has the clutch, Gene, bro.
Solid, solid, solid quarterback.
He'd been doing a 9-10 before a minute.
Him, Mike Evans, just always roof of Baker, man.
He's always just been solid, just a hard worker, you know what I'm saying, and getting it done.
We go over here to the Broncos.
The Broncos spoiled Cam Ward's debut, man, 20 to 12.
Went over the Titans.
What, uh, I feel, number one draft choice, right?
That's Cam.
Yes, yes, that's Cam Ward, number one pick, man.
And I saw that.
He, he did not do bad.
A lot, like, a couple of his receivers dropped a lot of passes on him.
He was putting it in the great spots.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, I think Calvin really dropped a cup, drop one.
I saw like a three passes in the fourth quarter dropped by his receiver.
So he's a rookie quarterback out there trying to get it done.
I think that there's certain situations where they could have helped him out and made it not,
like it made it, made it closer, made the drive.
He could have had a game when to drive if they were to cost some of those balls.
So he didn't look bad.
I think he's on his way.
And I just need them the same thing.
With these young quarterbacks, keep them upright, keep them protected.
Don't let this break his confidence because, you know, you're out there on there,
just expecting yourself to do so well.
but it's going to be a learning curve.
You're going to have a learning curve.
You're not just going to come in here and be instantly getting everything off the rip.
I just want him to just stay, stay focused, stay motivated, and know, you know what I'm saying?
Hopefully your teammates are going to start catching some of these passes, but you looked, you look solid, my brother.
Yeah.
So the Rams beat the Texas 14 and 9.
Matthew Stafford passed with 245 in a touchdown while becoming the 10th quarterback in NFL history
with 60,000 yards in the air.
Does the Stafford have the back issue going on?
I think he does.
I think he does a little strain, a little strain.
Well, you know, like I said, too, he's been in the league, long time OG vet,
taking care of his body.
You know, as long as they could, like, protect another line,
take care of his body, he's going to be able to get it out there.
He's been spinning it for a long time.
And it's just his accuracy, 21, 29, not too many incompletions.
Love Matthew Stafford.
For sure, for show.
we're going to go on over here to the 49ers Seahawks third string tied in late touchdown gives the 49ers the 17 13 win over Seattle
well well oh kiddos got hurt in that game buddy yeah he went out uh what quarter did kiddos go out
was his second or third quarter he went out um yeah i think it was so uh what's his name the quarterback
I'm horrible with names, dude.
Little dude.
My man, a party.
Purdy, yeah, yeah.
A party.
Yeah, yeah.
You didn't think, I didn't think he did as well as,
well he didn't do as well as he was doing, you know,
previously with, you know, all the weapons that he had.
So I think they're going to have some,
some, well, I wouldn't say
trouble, but they're going to have some
difficulty in getting, uh, getting through their
schedule, maybe.
Is, is, how, how is, how is, uh, how's it
running about, how's McCaffrey?
Is he, he's back. He's healthy.
He's healthy. He's good, yeah, he played, yeah, he played,
he played, he played the game, everything.
Yeah, I don't, I mean, I think McAfee's going to
help our person.
I don't think it was that effective.
I don't know how many carries they actually ended up giving him, but, you know, that's neither here nor there.
The Cardinals beat the Saints 20 to 13.
Collin Murray kind of did his thing.
He passed 163.
He hit Marvin Harrison Jr.
five times with 71 yards in the touchdown.
Murray also rushed for 38 yards.
So.
I like Marison Harrison, Jr.
Getting back into the zone.
I see he gained a lot of weight this offseason two
just getting bigger and stronger
trying to be ready to take on some contact.
I think that should be solid.
Colon, Pallamari, he getting in trouble.
Throw the thing up to Marvis and Harrison, Jr.
I think that would be his success plan.
Yeah.
I mean, it's better than not having it.
Oh, man.
What about my man, Travis Hunter?
Where Travis do, baby.
I've seen a couple plays of it.
I was watching, I was watching Red Zone going back and forth.
I was, I was in overload on it.
Yeah, I'm trying to figure out, though, with him playing.
The Jags beat him.
Jacks beat the Panthers, 26 to 10.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, yeah, Travis Hunter played 39 snaps,
crossed six passes for 33 yards.
He played just six snaps on defense, though.
Yeah, I didn't, I didn't get that.
If you won't, he hadn't played 44 snaps.
I mean, maybe it's just the first game of the season.
season, but I mean, he got to play, he has to, hopefully, I think they might just be warming
them up to it, but you got to play more snaps.
Yeah, you got to be on the field.
Well, it's the first game of the season.
Like I said, you got to give him, you got to give him a chance.
And that's something else, you know, you got some guys going out with injuries and all that.
You got guys that, you know, they haven't really played snaps like that.
Now you tell them to go out here and give me, you know, 50, 60 plays at 100 miles an hour.
You're losing, you know, you're losing water.
You got, you're more, you know, risk for muscle strain.
and all that other stuff, that's one of the things
why you see a lot of these guys, you know,
going out early with these soft tissue injuries, you know.
It's a different thing of impact.
You can't stop that.
But the soft tissue injuries, that could be, you know,
that could be slowed up by just being, you know,
in better shape, practicing the way that you're going to play
and making sure you take care of your body.
You know, it's very, very few people that go game speed now in practice,
especially with how they got the rules set.
But the Raiders beat the Patriots 20 to 13.
Gino Smith passed with 362 in a touchdown.
He did his thing, man.
Brock Bowers had five catches for 103
before leaving the game with a knee injury, though.
Yeah, Myers out of eight catches for 97.
Mayers.
Shout out Gino Smith, man.
He's been doing it for a minute.
He's going to make sure bombing.
Who's their receiver number one for the Vegas Raiders?
Because he was going up top pork chop, the whole game.
I know the guy who gets known was bad with names sometimes,
but my boy in Vegas Raiders receiver.
That might be the dude I'm talking about.
Who's number one?
What's number one's name?
Let me check it out.
