We kicked the ball off to him. Of course, special teams do what they're supposed to do. They started to 27. Now, the first play, ah, two hits his heel for, you know, for 20. That right there, that's Highsmith. Yes. He got, he got to take that man crossing. He becomes the new number two.

He got backer. He's looking like we're playing quarters. So he has to go with him. I understand what he's thinking. he's thinking run but you still have to take care of your responsibility which is going to be that guy coming back they end up getting 20 yards on that i'm not tripping because i know he just in it in it ready ready he just he he fidgety okay it's cool let that play go we get on to the next play and it's the same thing this time except

Ice Smith stays where he's supposed to, and he actually bangs. He fits up on number two. He runs into the running back. The only thing I would like to see him do better on this one is, again, stay on that outside because even though we dropped him for a loss, that's some more meat on the bone. We could have had him back there deeper because he was able to get on the outside. You got all that pursuit coming on the inside.

We'd have been able to stop him for more than just the, you know, one-yard loss. For sure, for sure. Yeah, so second, what was the second of 11? They ended up getting four. Again, right here, you know, Herbic makes the play from his knees. Yes, effort. Let's get it. Effort.

Same thing. But, again, he got that tight, he got that tight split. He got a big body tight end that's sitting right here. They roll down that, the outside guy. So now your tight end is sitting at your one. As soon as you see him roll out, you got to turn into that. tight end get on his outside that tight end is going to release off of you now you fly down to that fullback squeeze that hole to where you still keep that outside contained and now you squeeze

that alley for queen to be able to come down there and he could have made that you know for an easy you know maybe a two-yard game possibly you know a loss because he will squeeze that alley now he could shoot that gap before the tight end even get to him again more meat on the bone. Yes, we speak in nuances. You want them to make sure, like, good play, you got it done, but there's just execution that you could do it a little bit better. You know what I'm saying?

So good job, but still, like you said, little meat on the bone could get it done. Not piss, but, you know what I'm saying? Just coaching points. Oh, easily, easily. the dirt. Peezy on that thing tight. They have to punt the ball. They put the ball. We do a smart play. We don't touch it. We get a touchback. Still has come out. We're starting on the 20. I believe the first down, we dumped it to Smith. It was only two yards.

It was no game. for Gainwell on the next one. And then on the third down, we ended up picking up seven or the eight that we needed. Them boys right there, I ain't going to lie. At the beginning of the game, they were hitting. It was open field tackles.

They was defensive backs making those tackles. Game well on the, no game, it was one-on-one versus DB. That dude Douglas made that tackle. That was a great play. When they came and crashed down, it was outside in. I got the outside leg linebacker comes in inside.

Fum, you're not falling forward. So, like, they came out there and was hitting and tackling. at the beginning of the games. I'm like, okay, like, that was good defensive plays by them. We got it. Like, we got what we like him. I liked him to be able to make a miss and be able to get that first down,

but they made stops and were tackling for real. So I was like, okay, good job by the Dolphins. You know what I see y'all came to play. Yo, yeah, they definitely, they definitely came to play probably for most of the first half, you know, they were making real good plays, dude. Yes. You know, Miami get out there and first down, was the H-O. A-Chane, H-H-N, H-H-N, H-H-C, H-H-N, H-H-H-N, H-H-H-H-H-H-N,

Hey, Chan, he gets sick. Again, I think it was the inside linebacker 50. Like, we got to stay with that outside. You know, he got to keep that shoulder free. We're doing the same thing where we peek-a-booing. You know what I'm saying? If he don't peek-a-booing, he stay out there, he can keep going over, and he gives Queen the opportunity to come over the top of that.

They also, you know, Queen kind of slow-played it because he see the tight-in flow back. That ain't true. That's going to Highsmith, let it go. And keep going where you see that footback going, because this is going to be an extra gap, you know what I'm saying? Gotcha. They end up getting six, again, more meat on the bone. We could have stopped them for less than six, you know?

Second down, it's him again. You know, he goes 10. On this one, we're running into the same situation. We got Herbert. He goes inside. You got to keep you outside. That's not you. But he gets back, but he gets so thick on the fullback,

which would have been his new guy that he would have been to, that they're able to get outside of. But I'm with that to still all that. Keep your outside arm free. Right. If he played a little different and he works that outside of that tight end, throw him in and come up, he can play it from outside in. So please that down.

Same thing again, keeps the play inside. They don't get 10 yards. Again, everybody do your job first and then after that help your partner. I think that would have been no more than, you know, a couple yards. But I ain't go lie to you. on that tackle. I thought Ramsey was about to get thrown out of the game. I just knew he was about to dump that man on his head, bro.

I don't know. I just wanted, I'm glad he just wanted to show him. I could do it. I could do it, man. You know what I'm saying? And then just put him down, looking at him. Like, I was rocking with the way Ramsey was out there playing. I'm glad he didn't dump him on his head because that would have been 15 for no reason.

He just was like this, you're small. You know what I'm saying? I can hold you up. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. I'm going to let you know. No, you like.

You light. First down, two of his waddle. Again. That's why, though, Debo, this is happening because it was getting six yards. Then he was able to get 10 yards. You're expecting to run off the play action. Now, lineback is coming up. That bang going to be right behind you.

You know what I'm saying? As soon as he see, Harrison, as soon as he see that fake, he got to dig out of there and look for what was coming. I believe if he did that, he was almost there anyway without doing it. He gets, he does it. He can actually, I mean, worst case, he'll do. deflected. He could have had a interception, you know what I'm saying?

You know, he has to turn and get to that coverage responsibility. But again, we got him in there for the run game. So he's, you know, he's thinking more run heavy. But you still got to, you know, be able to do your job. Ramsey comes up and makes the play. We stop him right there, you know, the next play. What happened, Joe? Got to be more careful.

Out there, to it through a lollipop out there to a santi. My good man. What's your corner do? What's your corner? What do you do? High to low. You have no work in front of you, so you keep going deep. You get underneath that seven route.

You got Jalen on the top. So if he goes fade or he goes post, you got your safety. But that seven, that's your play. And he got right underneath of it. And it's like, oh, my goodness. Like, it didn't even make it hard on him. High point the ball, catch it. Waddle trying to basically turn it to the DB and break it up.

Just a great job of holding the ball and going down with it. So good job by Sonti. Great job by defense. Horrible throw by a team. to her, I don't know why you throw that ball. Like, it's not open. You know what I'm saying? Like, throw it out of bounds, check down something, get missing, go down.

But, like, don't throw the turn the ball over. You got a good drive going. This person's 10. Being called, you know, grounding because it would have looked like he was trying to get it to him. Man, yes, throw it out of bounds high far over there. Yeah, still let's get out there. I think it was warm for six and then three, third down. They ended up doing a tush push.

They said, you know what? We ain't get a hell. They double touch push. They double touch. I ain't going to lie to you. I might have punted that one because it was still tight right there. Yeah, yeah. I would rock with it.

I mean, I'm glad. I'm glad we got it. Hey, yeah. Just the momentum, for the momentum, for the momentum. Like, I was like, because I'm looking like, guys, we got to get a yard. And when we didn't get the first touch push, I'm like, come on. You know what I'm saying? Our touch push is a real kind of trying to find a home.

That's what made me nervous where I would have been like, I don't think I'm going to punt this. It is a little hazy. But yeah, go ahead. The first down, we get no gain again, because Miami is tackling. They are coming up feeling like one-on-ones. Like, it's something. Yeah, I ain't a lot. The first half, they came to play.

But, you know, second to ten, we hit somebody over the middle, that man, the D-K for 22. Mm-hmm. Over the middle. That was nice ball, bro. That's just the, that the, the, the dig. ball. You know what I'm saying? That was one of the A-Ride. He didn't throw the ball too far past the line of scrimmage. It was very consistent. But that one on the money. Dig. Let's get it. Again, next play. Warren for six. And then right after that, for one, we're running the ball, making them come up and tackle at some point, which it ended up happening. They're going to get tired of coming up here and getting hit and having to make these tackles.

No, for sure. It's cold outside. Yes. Yes. Third down. It's an incompletion. Roger. just throws it low. I mean, he only had four. I mean, you got to, you know, you got to at least having incompletion here and there. But we get to a fourth down. We get a, we get a first down after they quick snap it. Yes. He was working a good job with the hard count the whole way. So he was building this up. So they was expecting and probably the hard count them to try to get them to jump. But now, we're going fast count you. You're not even ready for the play. So I learned that they came up there using that the whole time. It's like baiting them, baiting them.

No, no, no, we're going to quit. And, well, I think he picked up nine right there. That got us first. Yeah, we lost one on the next first down. I think second down. One, got five on two. Ooh. I ain't know if you were going to make it back into the game.

That's what I'm trying to tell you. Them dudes were flying to the rock. Douglas, all them little D.Bs, the linebackers. I wasn't mad at him. So it was, it wasn't that the Steelers couldn't really get nothing going. It was like, these dudes were making plays. You know what I'm saying? Like, they had to, you ain't going to make all of them.

But you're going to make, you know what I'm saying? You're going to make some of them. Hey, I ain't going to lie. They was making all of them in that first half. At the beginning, at the beginning. I'm like, yeah. Third down 11, we end up get sacked. You know, knocks us out of field.

Go range. Knox us out of field goal range. We got to, you know, we got to punt the rock. Give it back to Miami. First down, they only get two. Everybody did they're supposed to do. You know, second down. Again, Tua hit Waller.

Mm-hmm. What was it for eight? The DB has to force him to go back inside. Inside. Let him out. You can't. There's nothing out there. You got pursuit coming.

Yes. Again, all fixable. Like, I'm not tripping. Like, everything is fixable. That's what I'm saying. None of these are a talent issue. All of these are something that basically boot. Stay outside, man.

You know what I'm saying? You got to force the ball. Next play. H-N. Five yards. Again, we're playing peekable. He's going to make you wrong. Stay outside.

I think the next play, he only picks up three. Great pursuit by Queen, grabbing by the earhole. Mm-hmm. And then third down. That was third down. That was third. Toa went to scramble, and Queen made a great stop on him right there. That put him to the fourth down.

I was thinking they might have tried a fake, but they ended up getting that delay. We had our defense out there. Yes. Yes. You know what I'm saying? I was trying to tell it. Hey, anything under. Linebackers, everybody was sitting there like this out with sure.

I wish you would. Yeah. That's what you was saying. Like, have your defense out there. You know what I'm saying? Make them punt the ball. Make sure you get the rock. Anything five and under, we punt safe.

Come on, man. Delay a game. Especially if, well, not five and under. You and that three and shorter, like, yo, it's punt safe. Yeah, for sure. We need to make sure that you end up punting the ball. We get possession of the ball. I don't give a damn about us returning how far we get.

We need to make sure you punt the ball. Still, let's get the rod back in the first play. Warren goes for 24, but we get a hold in. Brings it back. That's going to kill drives, brother? It kills the drive. We ended up getting, you know, seven on the next play, and then 10 on the play after that.

Demd. He was fighting for their life trying to tackle Washington. Man, he was, he still didn't, but he still hasn't gone down. And we ended up getting to a manageable third and three, but we just sat. We got to punt. the rock back to them.

I think Miami gets the ball. Your boy, A. Chan, I think it was like four on the first down. In completion on second down. It was good colors. Oh, this down right here. This is the one that killed me. This is the simple ones, too.

Just, you know, he extended the play. You got to stay like that. Like, by this time, birthday, that's your man. Stay on them. Like, stay, stay, stay on them. We're latching by now. You know what I'm saying? He went from the back field all away from the right side of the field.

all the way across to the left side of the field. So, like, just on that one, we got to, by the time of this. Same thing. It looks, I'm with you. Same thing. It looks like we're in quarters. So basically what it comes down to is 2.6, when he comes up, he don't need to come up. You see Herbick on the other side, his guy goes in.

As his guy goes in, Herbert is looking to see what's coming back. Something got to come back. So he stops as it comes back. If 2-6 is seeing that and he's playing at the depth, he can pick that up. He's not playing at the depth. He goes to pick it up. up picking up what 24 on that play yes you know again it's fixable no for sure it's it's fixable it's not like we're trying to figure out what you know what the hell is going on he's created a lot

of time it was a scramble play like it wasn't just you know what I'm saying nothing normal so we can we can fix that yeah the defense holds queen makes a great play come on shoot the gap third and one that's what I'm talking about that's what I'm yeah no give him those opportunities like I said, our backers stay on that outside. You give him those opportunities to get squeezed down in there before him. That dude could get, he's going to make that play. I ain't going to lie to. I was surprised they went for a 54-yard field goal.

Me too. I don't think they understand what, you know, accruiter is like. The element is the man, he didn't give a daggone about accuracy or none of that. We didn't care what the weather was, what the field temperature was. He cashed that. Hey, he smoked that thing, bro. What? He smoked that thing, bro.

Mm-hmm. I just knew it was going to be a miss. I'm like, ooh, that's, oh, that's, yeah, that's going in. That's cash. Yeah, that's, that's, all right, I know, all right, okay, good kick. They kick the ball off and they make a little bit of a mistake. They get a landing zone penalty. Free kick landing.

The offense, you know, they start to, they start to come a life a little bit. Debo, starting at the 40-yard line is a completely different game now. You know what I'm saying? I think with the, because now with the field goal kickers being able to kick further, 40 yards, man, you get a first down. You're right, you're at a half field. Yes, yes, yes. Joe, tell him, we used to start at the Twinkie.

At the Twinkie. At the 20. They have made it so easy now. They said, we need more points. That's three first downs, like, real live. You got to have a real drive going. You know what I'm saying? Get it really supposed to play.

You're not getting any points. You're punting. Uh-huh. First play, Rogers throws it short when it's... Hey, man, he ran over a D-Lyman dude. Yes, he did. That was a big lineman. That wasn't a line break, bro.

He had things to prove, man. He was getting physical out there, man. He had things to prove. He didn't physical out there everywhere off his defense. He got trade. He got, he felt disrespectful. Y'all got rid of me? I'm going to show you something.

And he was up on their sideline doing it the whole time. Second and seven. Rogers to Washington. Hey, they're fighting for their life again. Every time they get that man to bar, them boys, like, ooh. Oh, business decisions. Oh, business decision. Help.

And then Gangwell squeezes out four yards on that. Dude, that should have been a tackle for a loss. Yes, it should have. Followed by a hot screen that he took five. We get the fourth and one. That boy Connor get up in there. He'd say, hey, to split. Let's go.

Again, Roger's the Gainwell. Ten, and then they had a nerd of face mask. Oh, my. Did you see my... He was all really close. What? Hey, he yanked that. He was tackling anybody.

I thought Gainwell was neat. That's one looked crazy. Did you see it? Hey, yes. That looked crazy. Yeah, because he was holding on to that face mask, yes. My wife was like, oh, what happened?

When they come down to it, that fourth quarter, I believe, Tua, or not even Tua, the offense, even with the last little thing at the end, they had 192 yards in the fourth quarter.

They only had a total of 285 for the whole game. Yeah. Like, we need to be able to close it up. We need to be able to handle success. and still come out there with that same energy and intensity that we did when the game was tight. They put it on tour to try to throw it, and he couldn't do it. So, I mean, I love the way that we did that on defense, the offensive side of the ball, too. If we can win on first down, and, like, that's what happens when we start, when we don't win these drives and we start stalling out and we punt, it's because we're trying to get Jaylon Warren the ball on first and we run it, and we don't get any yards. You know when you're in your assignment, when you, when queen, when queen, if the lineman has the gap, he can shoot that gap and then go do it.
