How you doing today, Joe?
I'm doing good, brother, Dibbo.
Doing great.
Had a beautiful, beautiful weekend.
Weather was amazing.
The pool's back open.
I spent so much time in that pool this week.
You got a pool?
Yeah, I got a little pool.
Got a little pool.
Ah, a little pool.
A little pool.
See, as soon as you said,
little, I knew it was a lot.
You know, a little, a little, a little, a little in-ground pool.
Little in-ground, jump.
Oh, Debo.
And when I wanted to let you know, too, okay, the season is over.
My flag football season is over.
Okay, so how did it go?
All right.
So, we won our first playoff game.
And when we won the first playoff game, we had to wait three hours because we had to win
the second playoff game to go to the Super Bowl.
So we won the first playoff game, 13, 12.
fought for our life, my boy Joey,
drove it down.
We went to overtime.
Okay.
Went to overtime.
So you start from the 50,
and they get a drive.
We stopped them on their drive.
Our drive, my man Joey,
on third down,
throws a big post to my man Jackson,
down to the two.
Fourth down, I'm like Joey.
We got slants on the left.
We got slants on the right.
Look off left,
throw it to west on the right.
My man Joey looks left,
throws the west.
Bam, touchdown.
Over time. We win.
Kids are happy.
Everybody's geeked.
Okay.
Okay.
Now, everybody got to take a break.
Everybody, stay off your feet, kids.
I'm telling everybody, parents, keep your kids off your feet.
You know what I'm saying?
Go rest a little bit.
Stay in the shade.
It's hot outside.
We got a game to go to the Super Bowl.
All right.
We come back to this game.
We get smoked.
We get smoked.
My team is tired.
Yeah, yeah.
It was a team that we lost to during the regular season.
It was the Raiders.
Oh, them boys that put that foot in your ass that last time, huh?
A little bit.
Yeah, they were prepared.
They were a little bit more prepared.
So we lost that game, but my team was happy that we won the first young.
We won the playoff game, and we just weren't ready for the Super Bowl.
We weren't ready.
Okay.
My other son, Jet, with the Steelers.
Super Bowl.
Them boys went undefeated, Debo.
Them boys.
I told you.
I told you.
I told you.
They got to do the same damn thing the Steelers about to do.
What you talking about?
That man, Jet.
Them boys went undefeated, Debo.
I ain't going to lie to you.
Them boys won the Super Bowl 13-0.
What you were expecting?
They scored a touchdown.
They missed the two-point conversion.
They got a safety, and then they scored another touchdown.
Yeah, man.
Them boys are there bowling, man.
My man, Jetsi, I got to get you the pitchers.
They got the rings and all.
Oh, yeah.
He got a ring and you ain't got one.
Oh, man.
He got a Super Bowl, Joe?
Yeah, yeah, he did.
Yes, he did.
Jesse, back-to-back Super Bowl champs.
He don't win two times in a row.
He don't win two times of the row.
Oh, Lord, dude.
Don't do it.
You're going to throw it in your face, too.
No, no, no, yeah.
They're going to throw it in your face.
Yeah, you got to watch Jet.
Jay, like, don't worry about it.
Jet, like, don't worry about it, Joey.
I'll let you have one of my rings.
I said, son, don't say that.
No, Joe, he's going to get his own ring.
He's going to get his own ring.
Yeah, as soon as he come over to the stem.
Man, no, shut your mouth, man.
As soon as we get to working,
that was only our first season.
That was only our first season.
Shut your mouth.
Shut your mouth.
Last year, there was the 49ers, man.
That's crazy.
We got to play all.
I thought I was your good friend.
In our first season.
In our first season.
In our first season out there just doing numbers.
Joe, I'm the violent one.
Slow down, baby.
We got there doing numbers, man.
Chill out, man.
Come on.
Now, look here, man.
I knew that was going to make you a little day.
Yeah.
For the stillers, man.
They did go win the ship and I was geek.
Because that's my boy.
It's my boy.
What would you expect?
Hey, and you was coaching the Browns, wasn't you?
Yes, I was coaching the Browns.
With a surprise, man.
It's the man.
Because my boy, Jet, his team was already named the Steelers, so we got the Steelers team
and I had that Brown's team.
And Joey, my oldest son, was born in Cleveland.
That's his squad.
It's okay.
Jet's favorite team is still.
Let me talk to him.
Let me talk to him, man.
Man, I ain't let you talk to my kid, man.
You're going to try to poison them.
Listen, man, I ain't poisoning them.
I just, you know, I like to speak to kids as a matter of fact.
I don't like to sugarcoat anything.
I talked, even when my kids was little like yours, I talked to my kids and, and, in, and,
straightforward words. For sure.
The way the world going to be. The world's not going to lie to him.
The world ain't going to lie to him. It ain't going to treat them nice. Actually, it's
going to be against them. It's either going to be against them or it's going to be for them.
It ain't going to be no middle ground. There's no middle.
They go love you because of who you are, who you related to, or they go hate you because of it
because you got something that they didn't have in this jealousy, envy and anger. Or it's just like,
yo, I want to be able to be around you, man. I love it. I'm all for it. You know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
What you think
Go go down tonight, though,
over here about
8.30 in New York?
Ay, aye, yeah, yeah.
Is it getting tricky?
Listen, bro.
It's past tricky.
Listen, they go lose.
It's not no...
It ain't know if ands or bust about it.
Spurs is going to lose this.
Spurs going to lose this.
That's for sure.
They're going to lose the series.
Oh, the series.
Debo, the series is done, in my opinion.
The series is done.
This is done, man.
You lost.
All I need to know and find out is tonight.
If y'all lose this, you get sweat.
Oh, if you lose this, you're not trying to pack your bags and have to go back to Texas.
Tonight is the night that you're going to show your fight.
If you don't win game three, there's no point.
Like, and I don't think we are.
Don't even show up.
I mean, you got to.
If you lose game three, don't even show up, man.
You got to show up.
You got to show up, man.
But I don't think they're going to win.
I think they're going to get swept.
the only way, if they don't win tonight, Debo,
sweep.
Sweep.
All day.
Facts.
Rooms out.
Right now, the series is definitely over.
Carl Anthony Towns, bro.
It's surprising me.
Like, he's playing, like, the Carl Anthony Towns that everybody wanted him to play like.
Jalen Brunson, obviously, his field code percentage is low, but I don't care.
Burner Brunson, shoot your shots.
When we need him to make, when they need him to make the shots, he's getting buckets.
He now sure wasn't playing like this last year in the playoffs.
I mean.
That's, that's for sure.
Everybody's balling right now for them.
McCall Anthony Towns, number one, with his field goal percentage, with his defense on Wimby, he's playing better than Wimby right now.
Right.
Hey, I ain't, man.
What?
Yeah, I guess, hey, man, let's, listen, man.
We're going to see.
When we got to come back about 40 pounds heavier, bro.
40?
I need 40 on him, bro.
I need a good 270.
Sevenfold.
Sevenfold.
Yo, I'm sitting here at 255, Joe, right now.
D'Bow, you're not...
Everybody...
Who?
You're not the average man walking around here.
Oh, but everybody think I'm like...
I'm like 210 or something.
They think I'm victim weight.
There's no way they think you're 210.
Bro, they're out of control.
That's because, you know...
Out of control.
Your boy leaned up real good.
You know what I'm saying?
But listen, I'm trying to tell him, 255 still looking.
But he need, he got to get some weight on him, man.
A thousand percent.
Not a little bit, bro.
I need a lot of bit.
I mean, just because keep all your flexibility and all that, man,
you go get a little bit more power.
You can lean on people now.
You can go on here and give him that body, like real body.
The good thing is, the good thing is he's still young.
He's 22 years old.
So, like, the same way when Yonis came in started getting that weight on him,
he don't got to.
And he's young.
So he's got room to grow.
Right now he can shoot, he's flexible.
But like his post-A.
When you get them young boys on you,
they're kind of heart, like dort.
These young dudes are 6-5 with a little bit of weight on them
and get them out of the paint.
I'm like, no matter what, you're 7-4.
If he's 6-5, I don't care what.
You should be able to give him something,
not just he's keeping you out of there
because he's a stronger base.
He's still a little man.
He's still a little man.
He got more weight.
He got the leverage.
And you ain't done.
You ain't, you're trying to bump.
He's like this.
Where are you going?
Like, you're not moving me.
You know what I'm saying?
Still, you're tall, but you're not strong.
I need, you know what I'm saying?
If you get a little bit more of that base, if he can get a little bit more of that base for
show, it'd be good.
But he can't change what he's been doing this whole season to get him there this year.
He ain't going to gain no weight tonight.
No, no.
No, it's all.
It's over, man.
Go ahead and getting the off season.
Matter of fact, give me a call.
Wimby, I'm going to put you up with my trainer, man.
And we're going to put the weight on the correct way, man.
You can't roll up, healthy, all that, man.
Listen, I'm going to tell you.
Keep rolling to the room.
But right now, New York is going to be crazy.
Listen, bro, they out of control with these tickets, though.
New York's going to be crazy.
What's going to be crazy?
New York.
They already crazy, bro.
Listen, I don't, you've been hearing, you've been seeing the soul.
Like, they ain't been acting up, but they've been acting up a little bit.
But I'm just worried, like, they win.
They might tear something up.
That's the only thing I'm going to do it about.
They're going to get real disrespectful.
They're going to get super.
They're already disrespectful.
I don't want to.
I just, I hate the idea.
I don't want, I don't want a good thing to turn bad.
They're like this, yeah, you got them city.
It's going to be crazy.
They're going to need the National Guard.
I'm like this.
No, no, no, no.
Why don't we need the National Guard?
Let's have a good time.
Yes.
Let's have a safe parade.
I don't want to be looking and seeing people getting hemmed up.
That's not fun.
Right.
You know what I'm saying?
Seeing people in the gentleman with the chokehold.
I'm not just, no.
That's not good.
All for a celebration.
All of a sudden.
All of a sudden.
It's tear gas and pepper spray and all that.
Now it's tear gas.
Now it's pepper spray.
Now you crying.
For not, not tears of joy.
A panic.
Joe, Joe.
They win.
They sweep these boys.
Brigh, I might have to go to New York myself.
I'm not going to New York.
Joe, I got to see it.
There you go.
What you going to go there and do?
Are you going to go save something?
I'm going to be in Times Square at my hotel
looking out the window like this.
I ain't going to be on the street
Okay, okay, okay, okay, thank you.
I could, I could respect that.
I could respect that.
I'll be looking out the window like,
You're going to need to get there early, though.
You're going to get there early.
Hey, as soon as they win this game, I'm going in.
I'm going to be doing the show tomorrow.
You're going to be 17 hours late.
You mean before game four or before game three?
I'm going to say before, no, no, I'm going to get there Tuesday before game four.
Okay, okay, okay.
You get there Tuesday.
I'm going to be right there.
Good, good.
It might be a guest episode on the Wednesday, just straight, straight from after they win.
Just, yes.
Live, Bo, go ahead.
Go live on them.
From the top.
From the top.
From the top.
Camera phone.
No, for sure.
I'll see these motherfuckers out here acting the fool.
And if you go down there and some New York gear, though, you'll probably be safe.
Listen.
I know that, listen, they already know I wanted them to lose, so I can't show my face.
They might try and jump me or something.
No, no, no, no.
They're going to be with you, bro.
You're telling you, long as you got, just throwing some New York gear.
Don't go out there wearing a...
Just throwing some New York gear.
Just go out there with a cat jersey on.
Yes, if you come out there with a Carl Anthony Towns jersey, you're going to get so much love.
Hey, forget about it.
It's nothing, you know?
It's lovely then.
You know?
It's lovely.
It's all what it is, dude.
That's sold, they said, for $550.

Wow.
Yes.
I literally filmed in his apartment in Queensbridge.
His moms were still up in that apartment.
Nans was just beginning to take off.
His pops used to live near me in Harlem.

Keith Gianmanca seemed like a mild-mannered suburban dad,
But secretly, he became someone else, a master of disguise who went on a crime spree.
At the time, did it seem like a crazy idea?
It seemed very crazy.
But I felt so desperate that I felt it was the quickest, easiest way out.
Did you allow yourself to think about how it could go wrong on what that might look like?
No. I didn't want to manifest that.
I was trying to manifest success.
Every family has its secrets.
But what happens when you discover that your dad has been living a double life?
That is not the look of an innocent man.
This is going to change my life and my family dynamic forever
because everything that had existed prior in my reality is now untrue.

Your husband is not who you think he is.
Your body is not what you saw it was.
Your identity is formed by a secret history.
I'm Danny Shapiro, and these are just a few of the stunning stories I'll be exploring
on the 14th season of Family Secrets.
And just then, we felt the plain turn in the air, so much so that the bags that were under people's seats just kind of flew into the aisle.
Each week, we dive head first into the complex power of secrecy, how it shapes.
our identities and relationships,
and how it ultimately can reveal to us our truest selves.
My daughter, she's pretending she doesn't know,
but is trying to cook and feed me and keep me alive
because I wasn't eating anything,

He kind of shoved me out of the way and said, move.
And he went out the front door,
and he jumped in a car and drove off,
and that was the last time I saw him.

This, bro, 550,000.
$550,000.
$550,000.
Yes, sir.
It was actually, I guess, an auction.
Mm-hmm.
Charity.
Yes.
So, right there, there it is.
Put it up on the screen for me.
So what it come down to, bro, is if you needed a tax write-off of a half-meal or more,
I go ahead, I buy these tickets.
The ticket's value.
is really 39,600.
That's what I was trying to tell you.
Right, the deduction off of 510.
Hey.
I'm telling you.
Hey, somebody out there that was using the head,
there's like, you know what,
I could go to the game
and get a hell of five tax deduction
because I need this write off.
But they got a lot of money they're making, Joe.
That's a lot.
I ain't never had to write off that much, Joe.
I ain't never had to write off.
I ain't never had to write off nothing.
I was trying to figure out how to get back.
How to get money back.
There's tax brackets, Debo.
There's tax brackets.
There's billionaires out here that make a lot more money that's when we see these mega yachts.
Money, $100 million.
Oh, Utah.
There's different.
There's different.
Mega, mega.
There's different classes.
You hear, Joe.
I don't know nothing about that.
I don't know nothing about that.
You're talking about, you know, you know.
You know what a mega yacht is.
I don't, I didn't even know.
I thought a yacht was a yacht.
No, no, no.
You know what I'm saying, Dibar.
I'm one of the people.
Anything over 20, 20 feet is a yacht to me.
Hey, Debo, listen here.
You know the people that I know about these mega yachts.
the people that wrote the checks for the team of the hats that we wear.
Like those guys, when they see people.
Joe, I ain't go lied to you.
I ain't never seen the Steelers on a mega yacht.
Not even saying the Steelers, but they could.
Those are the type of billionaires.
We're not, they're writing.
We blue color around here, Joe.
Listen to me, Debo.
When people get to talking about $500,000 to someone is a dollar to someone else,
it's different brackets to it.
So it's just because when people know how much money that we make, our scholar, with our salaries, $50,000, they know how much LeBron James makes.
They don't, when Apple, Elon Musk, when the guys are owned these gas stations, the owner of Chevron, these people are making billions of dollars.
So $500,000 to them, for them to be able to just go do something, it's the same way that a person making $100,000 is to them.
So just keeping things relative.
It's crazy when you start saying,
oh, this man making $500 million, it makes $40 million.
Yes, but the owner of that team is able to pay this salary of $340,
they're making $500 million.
And they have other businesses that have billions of dollars.
So it's a percentage of the small percent.
But New York is like L.A.
That these people are the big-time markets where the dudes moving around there,
that's where the money flows.
that's where dudes got that type of cheese
that it's uncomfortable to talk about.
I don't, I'm not familiar.
Listen, Joe, I just need to find out
where them C is, who's sitting in them.
Yes.
I just need to get next to him.
You go, you, you, you, you, you go to lie to you.
I ain't trying to figure out how to get it, you know,
the right way.
I'm a rob his ass behind.
See, that's what I'm saying.
But this is the other part, too, with the season tickets.
So say the Knicks fans, too,
they're able to get, if you have season tickets,
you have right to first refusal.
So say like the, the,
the ticket price for the floor seats during the regular season they value from 2,000 to 5,000.
So if you were to buy, say, maximum price, $5,000 for season tickets for floor seats,
you get 41 games, 41 home games, 5,000 times 41, $205,000.
Oh, Lord, Jiminy, crickets.
But that's for 41 games season tickets.
Fuck you mean, 41 games, Joe?
Listen, listen, listen to me, if you live in New York and those tickets are 5,000 for
on a ticket price.
That's what you get them for.
When they have LeBron James,
the Lakers come in town,
you can sell that ticket
for 20 grand for that game.
So season tickets holders,
you have the right to,
those are your tickets for $5 grand
and that's a good price.
But knowing, on average,
when the Lakers come,
when other teams come,
these tickets can go up to crazy values.
So that's why their floor seats.
Now, that $39,000 is the ticket.
It goes up during the playoffs.
You can go first to right
refusal. I'm just letting you know how the tickets go.
So they can either get it for
that or they'll sell it
for now $100,000.
If you got your tickets and you know you can get them for
the floor seats, ticket.
So, citizen ticket order. It's 20 grand.
You're going to pay you $20,000?
Can I ask you a question? Can I ask you a question?
Or you're going to sell it for $100.
Can I ask you a question? Yes.
How to frick,
am I supposed to pay $240,000
for season tickets?
That's what I'm trying to tell you
is that that's just for the floors.
You can get other tickets in there for them around
like $5,000 for the season.
You know what I'm saying?
But you have a different bowl.
And it would be,
those ticket average would be $100 per ticket.
And those are the ones that when the playoffs come,
those can get up the price.
I'm using $600.
I'm saying.
I'm saying, I'm giving you the New York season ticket
courtside prices, and that's the high, high.
When you come to Cleveland, say it's 41 games
and we can get it from $2,000 a ticket.
The season tickets for floor might be around $100 grand.
You know what I'm saying?
for floor season for Cleveland.
But then for certain games, when people coming in town,
by, choking, God, dog.
I'm just letting you know.
But regular season tickets.
Damn, I should have been playing basketball.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But that's why I think the season ticket holders is,
they're in a position where, you know, you can,
like, if I'm a big fan, how much are you a fan?
Are you a fan that you could keep your ticket for,
you could pay $700 for your ticket in the higher bowl
and keeping it to go see your team,
or you know your ticket is going to sell for 20 grand.
You can make $15,000 watching at the crib and or go to the game.
So that's where I'm like, those guys are the resale price.
It's an investment.
I got to invest.
You're in low-key.
You're looking at it.
You're going to go to the game.
You're looking at the wrong way.
It's 41 games.
When you're looking at the season tickets for the football games, just dividing it by 16.
You're going to 41 basketball games.
You got those season tickets regardless.
I never paid that much money for no season tickets.
I ain't never paid that much money for no season.
I'm just saying.
Oh, my God.
Jimmy Christmas, Joe.
Let's go on over here to the Steelers, man.
Jalen Rams.
New Steelers, D.C. Patrick Graham.
Quote was, he's impressed so far.
He said, I think it's cool.
Just the conversations we have.
We're able to talk ball at any given time about anything,
different positions.
He can talk at all.
He can talk about the D-line, the linebackers,
the secondary, he's been impressive so far.
Joe, yes, that right there.
What does that statement say to you?
It says that he has a good understanding, a defense,
and I think Jalen Ramsey sees that and respects it,
and they can talk ball.
I mean, that's kind of what I'm getting.
What you get?
This is what I'm getting, because you and me, we've been in games.
So what Jalen is saying here is that,
he has not maybe been in a position, at least in Pittsburgh,
where he could have these communications with the D.C.
and talk football at every position at any time.
So the D.C. should always have a total understanding of a whole defensive scheme at every position.
And, you know what I'm saying?
Like, that's just how it works.
A thousand percent.
You're a B coordinator.
Like, you sat down with Coach LeBoe.
the bow had a great understanding of the whole defense from from from top to bottom now given that
you're a deep coordinator in the NFL you should have that now that leads me to remind you of
our conversations that we had with players last year that said at different times they were told
different things like different coaches on the same defense yes so right now I think as we know it
He's speaking to the fact of, you know what, I'm being told something,
and I am being told it by a person who is giving me that information
and able to get that information at every position.
And this right now is actually impressed me so far.
Yes.
Probably something he hasn't had in Pittsburgh since he's got there.
So when you, you know, look at the last, whatever it is, the few years that we've had,
you know, Ramsey there, and we got the players that we have.
on defense.
And it's too many times last year where, well, well, sometimes, well, too many.
Too many.
Yeah.
Where we had the defense and we're looking like, yo, what the hell are they doing?
Can't do that.
It's not going to work.
And everyone is not on the same page.
Yes.
And that's what you get.
You see, players know where you're supposed to be, when you're supposed to be there.
and we have players right now on that field that we know can ball at every position that have had success at every position.
And some of them are the best at that position or one of the best, the top five in that position.
And we end up as a 26 ranked defense in the NFL.
But the players we have are top in the league.
That don't work.
It's because the defense is not sound.
And right now he's like, yo, I'm liking it so far.
I'm able to communicate.
I'm able to talk ball with my decorgnator about anything in every position.
And not saying, oh, hell, let me go see what this is.
And that is, that is how it should be with any decontator.
But as you, I know, and I know at times, that's not what it is.
Because the position itself isn't filled by somebody that is capable.
And this is what you get.
Yeah.
I think this is a great sign.
It's just that he's saying the same thing.
When you're on the, especially when you're in the secondary and when you're a vet now and Jalen Ramsey is to that position where he's not just knowing.
He doesn't need to just know what he's playing, what his position is.
Cornerback.
No, I know what he's doing.
I know safety.
I know all of that.
When I'm having communications now with my linebackers with the D-line, when I'm hearing what's going on, when I'm checking the stuff to when I see things because I'm in the back end, I have a big old view.
Like the linebacker and the safety, you see everything.
Cornerbacks you on the side.
You got your backer that's standing up and you got a safe.
that can read, you can see the field, you're evenly in the middle.
He wants to get a complete understanding and knowing like, when I say something,
the linebackers are understanding.
It's not foreign to them.
They understand that we're speaking the same verbiage, the offensive, the defense alignment,
they know what's going on.
So I think when he's saying that to his coach, he's being able to say, I'm a DB.
Obviously, I know exactly what's going on there.
So now when I'm talking to my coordinator, we're coordinating how everything works together.
Like when we're speaking the same language, we're talking to the line.
linebackers. We're talking about how the defense
the line sees it. We're all in the same
page. So now, the bust
aren't happening. And that's
one of the biggest things. You say, people not
knowing what's going. I'm like, it's just because
if somebody's running free, there's a reason.
If a body's on a body and somebody
makes a play, we can live with that.
Like, that's okay, man, make a tactic
boom, boom. Like, that's the technique thing.
If there's a mental error
where there's no physical skills that need to be
done, if there's two people right here
and both of us are standing on one of
them, something's mentally wrong here.
We did something wrong.
If we got a body on a body and they make a play,
line it up.
You know what I'm saying?
So I think I'm loving what he's saying.
When I'm talking to my coach, nothing is formed.
We're all speaking the same language,
the D-line, the linebackers, the secondary,
the communication is what I'm impressed with that,
boom, that's what it needs to be.
So when we go out there and there is mistakes and things happen,
we know exactly what it's not what we're taught.
That's on you.
Like, what are we doing?
We did not go through it like that.
So it's accountability because if you tell me what I need to know and I know what I got to do
and now everybody in here, we're on the same page.
We feel more comfortable to be able to have my resources.
Now we are all on the line.
Yeah.
Now you don't have where you had last year where Jalen's sitting back there.
He's like, yo, what the, y'all doing, bro?
Like, come on.
His hands in the air.
He's on the field like what's going on.
Yeah.
I'm with it.
The secondary coach, though, Joe Whit Jr., said,
He sees shades of Hall of Fame, defensive back, Charles Woodson and Ramsey.
Ooh.
He said, the way we use Charles Woodson in Green Bay, he played the star, he played corner,
he played safety, he played the money, he did all those things.
Charles could do it all in one game.
He's one of the rare guys that can do it.
Jalen has similar skill set, similar size, similar speed.
I'm just excited to see how we work with him.
and the way we use him.
Yes, sir.
You know, that's what happens.
And Ramsey ended up saying, like, so here, I'm going to say this.
So a coach that has coached a player that he actually helped develop and put into
and bring to the level of a Charles Woodson.
Okay.
This right here is one of the things I talked about.
We both talked about when you're hiring a coach on your staff,
And it's a buy-end dynamic of having coaches that have a history of developing and coaching great player.
You're right.
You know what I'm saying?
Mm-hmm.
Let's go.

Hey, it's us to Jonas Brothers. And guess what? We have some big news.
What's the news, new?
Huge news. We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to our first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there. But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band.
Before Jonas Brothers was...
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast,
where people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas,
and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Just listen.
We don't care where you hear it.
June is Black Music Month, and on the Drink Chams podcast, we're speaking with the hottest names in the culture, like Sway Lee.
Do you realize how legendary you are?
I appreciate that.
I'd be seeing it, but I'm like, man, I still got, like, so much more to do.
Like, Prince, he dropped, like, 30 albums.
We dropped, like, five right now.
That's the rate we got to be going.
Yep, that's a good attitude.
You also hear stories from industry legends and hip-hop pioneers like Fab Five Freddy.
I directed when Nas' early videos.
Which one?
One love.
Wow.
Yes.
I literally filmed in his apartment in Queensbridge.
His moms were still up in that apartment.
Nas was just beginning to take off.
His pops used to live near me in Harlem.
His dad introduced him to a whole lot of, you know, conscious stuff, and he made a young
prodigy.

Keith Giamonka seemed like a mild-mannered suburban dad, but secretly, he became someone else, a master of disguise who went on a crime spree.
At the time, did it seem like a crazy idea?
It seemed very crazy.
But I felt so desperate that I felt it was the quickest, easiest way out.
Did you allow yourself to think about how it could go wrong on what that might look like?
No, I didn't want to manifest that. I was trying to manifest success.
Every family has its secrets.
But what happens when you discover that your dad has been living a double life?
That is not the look of an innocent man.
This is going to change my life and my family dynamic forever because everything that had existed prior in my reality is now untrue.

Your husband is not who you think he is.
Your body is not what you saw it was.
Your identity is formed by a secret history.
I'm Danny Shapiro.
And these are just a few of the states.
stunning stories I'll be exploring on the 14th season of Family Secrets.
And just then, we felt the plain turn in the air, so much so that the bags that were under people's seats just kind of flew into the aisle.
Each week, we dive headfirst into the complex power of secrecy, how it shapes our identities and relationships,
and how it ultimately can reveal to us our truest selves.
My daughter, she's pretending she doesn't know, but is trying to cook and feed me and keep me alive.
because I wasn't eating anything, and me pretending like everything was fine.
He kind of shoved me out of the way and said, move.
And he went out the front door and he jumped in a car and drove off.
And that was the last time I saw him.
Listen to season 14 of Family Secrets on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
When they asked Ramsey about the comparison, he's like, yo, it means a lot.
He said, he said Charles is definitely one of the best, if not the best, to every.
play the game. He's talking about
being able to switch, you know, back and forth from something
like that. He said, he's definitely somebody
I've looked up to knowing
knowing that I'm around,
knowing that I'm around coaches
who he was around
in the same, in some of the, in the same,
in some of the best years of his career,
is pretty cool. Look,
automatic buy-in, again.
You got the coaches that coached a Hall of,
fame player. Now, what you got now is you got Jalen Ramsey, who is sitting there buying in.
This is a veteran player, a leader on this team. He knows ball. He plays ball.
His man has been to three first pro bowl. First all team all pros.
Seven time pro boulder. And now he's looking like, oh, I'm working with a guy that can
possibly give me some new or different insight to help increase my game. And he's what, 10,
going on 11 years into the game.
When you have that right there and your coach and your player that's a veteran player,
the young guys around you are like, yo, we're buying in.
Yeah.
This is why you hire people and don't worry about them taking any credit from you.
No, because you want the best coaches that are able to make your players the best that they can be.
And when I see this, I think amazing because Jalen Ramsey is a baller.
Charles Wilson is elite.
Charles Wilson is one of the best defensive backs to ever play the game in the history of the NFL.
And when we talk about Charles Wilson is the cornerback is how we went to safety.
But the one thing about him is he turns the ball over.
He has 65 picks in his career, 13 touchdowns.
And then with these forced fumbles being able to just be creative punching the ball out,
I think Jalen Ramsey and him in their first 10 seasons have very similar stats.
I think Jalen Ramsey, if he's able to just, the same thing, he has that size to where he is going to be able to transition to safety.
He's physical.
He's physical. He wants all that smoke.
And it's not foreign to him.
So him being able to get one, his, and he was running for three coming out.
So Jalen Ramsey is an athletic freak.
So him being able to have a coach that coach someone like Charles, Charles is unbelievable.
And Jailen Ramsey is in that same aspect.
If you can be healthy, he's in the game, he's a vet, he knows ball,
Coach is getting him into positions to where he can make these plays.
Last season was the most sacks he's ever had.
He's been in the league 10 years.
He doubled his sack total with three sacks last year.
Being able to get him blitzing, being able to use him around the line,
being able to guard him on the tight ends, being able to just move him as you use Charles Wilson.
I think it's very, very good for him, being able to stay healthy.
And now being on the team where everybody's on the same page,
the defenses are all communicating.
I'm happy for Jayland.
I think this could be a very, very breakout year for him.
I'm thinking now just turning over the ball too.
Being in the right spots,
our big thing for our defense is no bust and catch the ball.
When the ball comes to you, intercept it.
These interceptions are going to be huge.
Charles Wilson, nine picks in 2009.
Get on the jugs, bro.
Get on the jugs.
No ball in the air needs to be picked.
There should be no balls bouncing on the ground.
You know what I'm saying?
So just be in the spots, being in your right spaces.
Don't be trying to cheat to go get the picks.
When you're in the right position, the ball's going to hit you in the face.
All you need to do is catch it.
You know what I'm saying?
So just being in the right position, making turnovers,
I think that's going to help us out big time.
For sure, for a show, for a show.
Look here, brother.
Miles and Garrett wants to learn from Aaron Down on after trade.
Has Rams legend moves over the NFL comeback.
Listen, listen, I don't want to play sound yet.
Hold up.
Hold on you.
Listen.
You know what?
Go ahead.
Play this song.
I haven't talked yet, but definitely expect to talk soon.
I don't know what his plans are.
And I'm not going to pretend to know.
I know a lot of people are excited and thrilled about the idea of him coming back.
But, you know, just being able to talk to him, learn from him.
And I'll take all the advice I can.
I know, he's a great one for a reason.
So, no, just trying to get him in here and talking to the guy,
especially a defensive line, that can mean a lot.
And if we can take anything,
I think it would help our game.
Joe, yes.
So do you think AD coming back,
or is the possibility of AD comeback?
What's going on here?
I don't know what's going on.
I don't know.
Look, there is an option of a.
No, it's not.
It ain't no option.
I would say, look, if I'm on, if I was Garrett,
and I'm on the Rams,
and AD used to play for the Rams,
I'm doing the same thing Miles Garrett is doing.
He's there.
He's good.
He's happy.
But if they're talking about AB, AD, the question was asked, yes, it would be great to get him back there.
What does A.D.
Does anybody know what A.D.
He's posting little pictures.
A.B.
A.D., you know what he's doing?
He's doing AJ Brown.
He's posting subliminals.
He's posted subliminals.
One day I'm in the office.
AD.
AD.
He's messing with people's emotions right now.
That's what he's doing.
Look here.
Look here.
I don't know if he's going to come back.
Aaron Charles Down.
I don't think he's going to come back.
Hey, be a man of your word, bro,
and keep your ass at home.
Don't come out of retirement, dog.
You said you want to go do it.
Don't you do it.
I don't want you doing it, okay?
You know what?
The only reason why you don't want to,
if he came back to the Steelers, would you want him?
No, no, no, no, no, we can't have him coming back.
Listen, Joe, Joe, that's going to make a mess up things.
Okay.
Now, I got to talk to his ego.
Now, look here, AD, AD, look here.
If you, if you come back, you're letting these people control you, okay?
And I ain't never known you to be a man to let somebody control you.
You spent your whole career controlling others and forcing your will on them.
Don't you let them manipulate you and control you into coming back, AD.
You be a man in your word and you stay, you stay, you stay retired.
AD, grown man.
Ad, you are a grown man.
if you feel like your time is done
and all that, don't you come back.
Your time is done.
I'm talking to your ego.
Don't you come back.
Now, if that don't work,
if that don't work, Joe,
I'm going to speak honestly.
Why?
I don't.
I'm going to speak honest.
Listen, I'm going to try honesty.
If it don't work, I'm trying both.
Look, man, you on the inside.
When I was on the outside,
that's four,
at least five Austin from linemen
to block y'all.
They go to the whole damn line.
that ain't fair
B-D, well, you okay.
How are we going to win championship?
Both of you're going to be fighting.
Fighting, like fighting for a light.
Joe, hey, A.D., be a man in your word.
Don't let them manipulate you in coming back.
You said you were staying out
about all these good businesses going on, man.
You know how bad that feel on your body, man,
the pain and stuff that you go through, man.
Listen, it ain't right.
It's cheating.
It ain't meant to be.
Matter of fact, now you think about it.
You remember with Tom Brady and Randy Moss, they got together.
went 16 and 0.
16 and 0.
You don't want that to happen now, do you?
That's because it was too good of a thing.
They knew they shouldn't have did that.
They shouldn't allow that.
Oh, Debo, you're not letting it happen because it'll be too much.
It'll be too much smoke.
It'll be too much smoke.
That's why.
Hell yeah.
AD, don't let them manipulate you in the comeback.
You're a man in your word.
You don't let them talk to you in the coming.
You said you want to come back.
You got, you got.
He said he was done.
He said he was done.
He said he proved.
Everything you needed to prove.
You said you proved everything.
Don't let them talk you into coming back.
Don't let them.
When they got the ship and all, yep.
Coming back.
Wow.
That's what they would be doing to you.
They'd be forcing your hand, forcing you to come back.
Manipulation.
Don't, don't.
Okay, look, Debo, I'm glad that I understand that we're on the same page
because right now all you're doing is talking to the ego
because you don't want Aaron Donald back
because you know what type of smoke that'll be.
You're damn right.
Okay.
All right.
What I want that back for?
No, no, no.
I'm just saying, but it's okay.
We got, we got, listen, man, we got championship.
We got championship.
We got championship.
We got some Super Bowl dreams online.
And that's going to be, that's going to be.
Yeah, we got that.
Roger Goodell, listen to me.
You have to meet them there.
That is not what's good for the league to see your whole offensive lines blocking two people.
How does that go look?
Don't you let that happen.
Don't
I'm just saying
For the good of the game
I'm just saying
I'm just saying
I'm just saying
It'd be good
It'd be crazy to see
Shut up Joe
You stupid
You don't want no smoke
I understand
Those two of the best
Defensive players of our time
They had two three
chasing this dude
They had two three
They're going to bring
out of the diamond
just to pass the damn ball.
I feel you.
I feel you.
Roger Goodell.
He went three defensive player of years.
That's a lot of defensive player of the years right there.
It's a lot of trophies.
Hey, D.
Don't let them manipulate you, man.
Aaron, Charles Don't.
You'd be a man in your work.
D'Bor, your best...
Hey, listen, listen, don't forget how your body hurt after them games.
That's what I'm saying.
That's the...
Your best case scenario is he's been...
out, he's been chilling, he said he was done.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, only reason why I was thinking about it
because he said if, who was coming there?
If somebody were to come there, he would think about.
No, no, whoever.
It was somebody, but then now was Miles.
I think it was Michael Parsons.
They said if he would have came there,
would you think about coming out.
No, hell no.
Hey, it ain't Mike Parsons.
He said, bro, this is what I'm saying, though.
I don't care what he said.
You said, that you said that it had to be Michael Parsons.
It ain't Michael Parsons.
And it's even Miles Garrett.
So now he might be thinking.
It don't matter.
He's both don't matter.
He said that was the only way he would think about it.
And he didn't come there.
So don't be thinking about nothing.
You know how you don't.
None less.
You know how you.
Miles Garrett got way more sacks than Michael Parsons.
And I'm not knocking it at all.
But so Aaron, I'm like, I got.
Hold up.
I got him.
You ain't got a dog in the fight.
You were browsing a Steelers friend.
And who you.
What is you doing?
My, what?
What do you mean when I'm doing?
You're a Browns fan for a Steelers fan second.
And you talking about comeback AD?
What do you think he'll do to your Browns?
When they're going to play us?
I don't even think they're on the schedule.
I ain't tripping.
I forgot about that.
I forgot about that.
We don't know.
We got a chance to play it.
We got a time.
Because you don't care about the Steelers.
We got time.
I do care about the Steelers.
And we would have to see them in the Super Bowl.
We're going to see them in the Super Bowl.
Yes.
So don't even try.

You can't run the ball.
