Join me, Lily Herman, as we dive into the under-explored pockets of F1,
including the astrology of the current grid,
the story of the sports most consequential driver strike,
and plenty of other mishaps, scandals and sagas
that have made Formula One a delightful, decadent, dumpster fire for more than 75 years.

I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast, Doubt, the case of Lucy Letby, we unpack the story of an unimaginable tragedy that gripped the UK in 2023.
But what if we didn't get the whole story?
Evidence has been made to fit.
The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapsed.
What if the truth was disguised by a story we chose to believe?
Oh, my God, I think she might be innocent.
Listen to doubt.

That's when his life took a disturbing turn.
A one-night stand would end in a courtroom.
The media is here.
This case has gone viral.

How you doing the day, Joe?
I'm doing great again, Debo.
Because you coming through again
with another shirt
that is not a particular color.
You know what I'm saying?
I'm just trying to figure out.
It's teal.
You coming through with this nice teal shirt.
I don't know, listen, bro,
I don't know what teal is.
I don't know what teal look like.
But I'm going to tell you as base colors
because that's all I had in life was base colors.
This is more of a blue
than it is.
anything else. Now, as you look right here, okay, here and here where I'm in a couple
spots here, it's, it looked like it might be green on camera, but I'm saying it's more blue
than anything. Okay, I can understand. Chat, chat, what's, what y'all say, Chad? What's
what I got to tell you? What color you got on, Joe? That's what I'm trying to tell. I have on the
Jamaican soccer jersey. So I have a green green. Green, this is green. This is green.
This is black.
This is red and yellow.
Please, why do you do this?
Yellow.
It's a lot of colors.
Yellow, green, black, and red.
That's golden rod.
Okay?
This is green.
Your shirt is a mixture of green.
It's golden, Joe.
It ain't yellow.
Stop it.
Your shirt is a mixture of green and blue.
And it's called teal.
It's called golden rod that you got on.
It's a lot of different colors.
I know that.
I'm part Jamaican.
You're making me mad.
That's what you're doing.
You're making me mad that you don't know the difference in colors.
That's a teal shirt.
And I, you know, it's more blue than anything.
I could, okay, it's more blue.
Thank you.
That's what you keep saying.
Blue and green is teal.
So it's both of them.
It's more blue.
It's more blue than anything, Joe.
All right, all right, all right.
My shirt.
I'm being like, Joe, you just, come on, bro.
You said I was, what?
I don't understand.
Joe, Joe, you confused.
Matter of fact, man, let's get over here, man.
They say the Steelers are already boxing themselves into a corner at the combine.
They said Pittsburgh is hyper-focused on taking a receiver early in the draft.
They said that Kevin Colbert, I guess, well, they believe that Kevin Colbert in 2018 through 22,
he was focused on filling potential needs that we had.
were doing some reaching.
They named Terrell Edmonds in 18, Devin Bush, and 19.
They actually traded a first or second and a future third for him.
Nagei in 21 and then, of course, Kenny Pickett's in 22.
So I don't know.
Here's the thing, you know.
Yes.
Me and me.
I know things.
You know how you know things that.
Yeah, yeah.
They just assumed that.
So since we're going to give all.
the credit of drafting players to the GM alone, let's look at Cobur's record from 2000 to say about
2014-15. That's when it started looking like it was doing some reaching. So in that time frame
of almost 15 years, he would pick best player on the board. And people would be like, why are they
picking that guy? That's not what we need because that's the best player on the board. And it was
very productive. So it was very little reaching that was going on all the way up until about,
like I said, 15, 16, somewhere, somewhere around there. So what changed? Why would he change
what he was doing for 14, 15 years that was working? Or did the power and authority to do that
change? What would you think happen, Joe? What do you think is more likely? I would think the power and
authority change. Thank you. Because if you go back to 2015, again, only two of the 15 first and second
rounders received long-term contracts with distillers when that time came. So what they're doing now
is called homework, people. You do the interviews. They're looking at all the guys they believe
can go in the first or second round, whatever that may be. And why are you? Why are you? You
Are they so focused on this need?
Joe, here's why.
Actually, I want to ask you a question.
Okay, ask me a question.
How many times has a lineman,
an offensive, defensive lineman calls division in the locker room that you know of?
No, not to know.
Okay, yeah.
How many times has a corner caused division in the locker room?
No.
Matter of fact, let's do this.
How many times has anybody that wasn't a wide receiver or a quarterback calls division in the locker room?
Yeah.
That's, that's, it's not that many in the NFL, is it?
No.
Now, why are we so focused on that?
Because we are looking for a receiver to come into the locker room and add to the rest.
Now, we've had, what is that, five receivers now that we've drafted in that time period at the position,
none of them received long-term deals with distillers.
And most of it was due to maturity issues, right?
They would say it was maturity issues, yes.
So what they are doing is digging in deep to the person that is the receiver that they want.
so that they know that you know what
this is a person that fits the stiller way.
I'm picking up what you're putting down.
The real Stiller way.
I'm picking up what you putting down.
And they're not going to get a player
and just hope, you know, he plays great, he's good,
and just hope they can mold him into what it is that we need in the locker room.
No.
Because it hasn't worked.
I'm picking up.
I'm picking up what you're putting down a thousand percent.
Like you said, there's dudes that are just going to be able to be performing.
and they ball and that's what they do.
And they're not really locker room guys.
Like when you're looking at a dude that's, look,
I'm just going to come in here, lunch pale,
do this work, work the hardest that you ever seen,
go about my business like a professional.
And that's just the way I do it because that's who I am.
And that's just some people that's built in them.
You got to get to know him that money's not really going to change.
Like I said, T.J. Watt, that money's not going to change the way that he works.
He's going to get that contract.
He's going to be the same T.J. Watt every day,
making sure everybody's good,
teammates, boom, boom, boom,
working, grinding.
It's not about the money.
It just comes along with it.
So when you're saying
that they're doing the research,
that's in the person.
I need to know how you act.
Like, what do you do?
Or is this football?
Is this going to be really a thing
that I can give you this money
and we're going to be able to follow you?
You know what I'm saying?
Because at the time,
ballers, you're going to be able
to get away with,
when you hoop, you get away with things.
And that's just kind of the way
when you get that second contract,
when that comes up,
It's like, I don't know if I can do that because I've seen what he's been doing right now without the dough.
I can only imagine when he gets that bag and we still need him.
Like, but he's, no, I'm chilling.
You know what I'm still?
That's kind of not the guy that we need.
So the person that you're saying, the work hard guy, the T.J. Watts, the Mika Fitzpatrick's, the Cam Hayward, the one that it doesn't matter about.
I'm really trying to go hoop.
You know what I'm saying.
So I think what you're saying is completely right.
You don't want to just get the, you want to get the best receiver, obviously.
but the receiver that's good for your franchise,
that's bringing that energy every single day.
And it's not about the dough
and he's not just going to be doing off-field things.
He's not going to bring that off-the-field issues.
And doing that research and knowing the person,
seeing who they hang out with, what's their crew?
Do they have a crew?
You know what I'm saying?
What do they like to do?
Do they like to go out?
Do they like the party?
Do they like to, you know what I'm saying?
Do extracurriculars?
You know what I'm saying?
Like, it's all good because now you're professional,
you're a grown man,
but I'm paying you that dough.
So when I do that, I need to kind of know exactly the person I'm drafting.
So I'm not saying they're pinning their self into a corner.
I'm liking that they're doing their research and making sure that they don't pick the foggy wrong person.
They pick the right guy that they're bringing into the franchise to be like, all right, look, we know we need a receiver.
There's a lot of talented receivers in this draft, but the one that we want to go get is the guy for us.
So I'm rocking with it.
Oh, no question.
They should be super focused.
Like, that's what you do.
I don't see them going in there and reaching for a guy that is not first round caliber.
I see them approaching it like they used to approach it.
Pick the best player at that spot at that time that is on the board.
So everybody just sit back, relax, watch what the Steelers do,
and then you could judge it for yourself.
Because now we're in need of a tackle, bro.
Roger Jones, he just underwent fusion of his neck for the injury he got week 12.
So, like, that right there, that's going to be tricky.
Yeah.
He's actually, he's due this year.
They have to make a decision.
Pick up a fifth round option.
Yeah.
Because they have to decide by May 1st, I believe it is.
They're going to pick that up, which guarantees him a little over 19 million.
in in 2027.
And he could possibly be missing all of 26.
And dude, when you get a fusion of your cervical,
like on your neck as an offensive lineman,
and you're making contact like every play,
I don't think that's something, at least me as a player,
and I'm willing to try and risk and go out there and come back from.
I believe the last guy that had a fusion like that was,
what's the dude's name?
Like Kevin Smith from, I think it was New England or something, 2012.
And he had his cervical fusion and was medically advised that he could not return to football due to the risk.
And then on top of that, what, you know, what NFL team is going to come up there and be like,
hey, I'm going to go ahead and take that risk.
And God forbid something happens, like that's a lot, you know, on their plate.
Yeah.
Which is also why distillers met.
they ended up meeting more of the few tackles in Indy 2.
No, for sure.
I mean, all prayers and hope the best form,
but once you start talking, like you said, the neck, the fusion,
it's not like just a regular bone thing.
So I just hope if he can get medically back,
I know that they're probably going to pick up that fifth year option
because if he can play, he's a great, great player.
So we wouldn't want to get rid of him.
So I hope that the surgery and if the doctors say that he can come back
and he wants to come back and play.
I hope he can get back out there because obviously we need him.
He's a baller.
But if he can't go, once you start talking about the neck,
you know what I'm saying?
That's when it gets real tricky.
So obviously they want to do their due diligence and make sure that they have a backup plan.
You've got to have a plan in place.
It's always going to be next man up,
and especially any type of injury, but especially when you're talking about the neck.
But for me, I would think that they probably still pick up his fifth-year option
as long as the medical is still talking about that he's going to be able to return
because I think he is going to be a future player for us that could be there for a long time.
But like you said, that he's coming back.
Yeah, I hope it just gets tricky with that part.
I hope that all of that.
You know what I'm saying?
Because, you know what I'm saying?
I don't know if anyone in that position, you know, has actually, especially a lawful.
I'm Luke Wilson.

overnight. I hate fame. I hate the word celebrity. I hate those words. They made me uncomfortable.
But I think when you get to a certain point, the fame or the success or the influence, it just
accentuates and exacerbates the inherent person that you are. The guy that says he's always going to
be there and that will do anything to be there is the only guy that's not there. I'm in Australia

Listen to On Purpose with Jay Chetty on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your

The nurse who should have been in charge of caring for tiny babies is now the most prolific
child killer in modern British history. Everyone thought they knew.
how it ended. A verdict, a villain, a nurse named Lucy Lettby.
Lucy Lettby has been found guilty. But what if we didn't get the whole story?
The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapses. I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new
podcast, Doubt the case of Lucy Lettby, we follow the evidence and hear from the people
that lived it, to ask what really happened when the world decided who Lucy Lettby was.
No voicing of any skepticism or doubt.
It'll cause so much harm at every single level of the British establishment of this is wrong.
Listen to Doubt, the case of Lucy Letby on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
China's Ministry of State Security is one of the most mysterious and powerful spy agencies in the world.
But in 2017, the FBI got inside.
This is Special Agent Regal, Special Agent.
Bradley Hall.
This MSS officer has no idea the U.S. government is on to him.
But the FBI has his chats, texts, emails, even his personal diary.
Hear how they got it on the Sixth Bureau podcast.
I now have several terabytes of an MSS officer, no doubt, no question, of his life.
And that's the unicorn.
No one had ever seen anything like that.
It was unbelievable.
This is a story of the inner workings of the MSS
and how one man's ambition and mistakes
opened its fault of secrets.
Listen to the Sixth Bureau on the IHeart Radio app,

I'm fusing these two bones together.
Now with that, you get hit like he did before.
That could be catastrophic.
And honestly, I don't know how many things would take that risk.
you know, it's no flex there anymore.
Only thing it can do is, you know, you don't sealed it here.
And now all the flex is here and here.
So every hit you take is just, boom, it depends on you being able to take that shock.
You know what I'm saying?
So I don't, I ain't go lie, bro, depending on what they say, the chances of them picking up that option.
I mean, I hate to say it.
I think it's going to be slim depending on what they see the outcome being.
And then, like I said, you're talking, you're talking cervical.
Like, that's, that's real.
That's the most dangerous, you know, you're talking life and death there, right?
I hear you.
But right now, with the way that it's coming out and the way that they're saying it,
it seems like it's not going to be as serious.
So until they tell me otherwise that I'm going to just hopefully,
obviously, make sure we get another tackle for up to maximum this season,
I think he might miss this.
If he misses this whole season, that would be a surprise to me, too.
But if he misses this whole year.
That's what I'm saying.
Like, you have to make that decision in less than two months.
Yeah.
If you're going to actually say, all right, we're going to pick up.
But, you know, we had that situation, though.
Like, we, bro, we had Shazir.
Like, not to speak, Shazir was on the team.
And just.
I understand.
I understand.
I understand that, too.
Go ahead.
I'm just saying, like, until at the same time, we's going to get the surgery, you want to
give him the time to recover, drafted him.
he's been a great player.
We're not just going to send Roder on his way.
You know what I'm saying?
Like he's done nothing on the source.
I feel like as a Steeler, they drafted him.
He's done nothing wrong, but he's got hurt.
So now if the surgery says that he's not able to play anymore,
that's when we get into a different situation.
Right now, it just seemed like he's going to be missing some time maybe in this season.
If they say the complete 2026 season is out of the limits,
you know what I'm saying?
We don't know if you're going to be able to play football anymore.
Then that's when we're like, oh, okay, hold on.
now, you know what I'm saying?
It's a different, different tone.
But right now it's like, oh, he just went and got fusion surgery.
He might miss some time in 2026.
We weren't about figuring out the option.
I think with the Steelers, they drafted him, he's done enough in my eyes to be like,
all right, bet.
We'll pick up that option because it's not like they're giving them a long-term extension.
You're not just going to send them to another team.
I think while he's hurt, I just think that's messed up.
And I don't think the Steelers would do that to him.
So you're saying that they would pay him knowing that he couldn't
come back and just pick up his fifth-year option.
You got to realize Ryan was also in the middle of his contract.
Ryan wasn't looking at getting picked up.
Ryan wasn't looking at getting a, you know, a fifth-year option.
I mean, I think you got a lot of personal feelings in it.
I mean, as a as a GM, as a business owner, you got to, you got to, you got to pull that
out of there.
No, I feel you.
I feel you.
So you would say, for me, I would have to have a deep conversation with my doctors
and be like, yo, what's the likelihood?
Yeah.
Him being able to make a full recovery.
And then on top of that, what is our liability?
That's what I'm saying.
What is our liability if we do let him come back and something happens?
That's the big thing.
And if I'm broad.
I don't know if I want to take a chance if they say, hey, you need to not do this.
It's a possibility because of what you've had done.
Like, I say I die for this shit, but I don't really mean it.
No, for sure.
You know what I'm saying?
No, no, trust me.
Trust me.
I feel that.
I'm just thinking when I'm looking at this thing right here and it's saying that he underwent
the surgery, that all of this is in plans for him to try to come back.
If Roderick says that he's worried about his health and he doesn't want to come back,
trust me, I don't want him to play either.
Like, I'm just looking at it as if he's trying to come back.
The Steelers are trying to figure out what's going on.
The doctors are saying he's able to come back.
If I hear otherwise, Debo completely trust me.
I don't want this man out there.
I don't want him to literally risk his life.
But I'm just saying if the man wants to play and the man gets surgery,
he goes through all of rehab and he's trying to get back because he wants to play football,
I'm here for it.
And I'm trying to figure out that situation.
So if he wants to play, but they medically say you shouldn't chance it.
You're going to let him play?
No, no, no, no.
Medically, I'm saying medically now, I'm saying when he's medically cleared.
And all of that medically, he's able to go.
That's the process that I'm going to bring out.
So you're going to sit around and wait to see if he ever gets medically clear to then and may say, I'm assigned you for 19.
I mean, you kind of got to make that make sense as a GM as an owner.
Well, yeah.
I mean, we would have to, yeah, I would have to talk to the doctors and see what's going on before.
Do he, when do they say that he's going to be able, when, are they saying he's going to be able?
Are they saying he's ever going to be able to clinically play again?
They said, he said, well, take it back.
Omar said, obviously he has a significant injury.
We are monitoring how he progresses.
Okay.
I know he's working hard.
It's early in the process.
There's certainly something that, that's certainly something that we're monitoring.
That is what the Stiller said as their statement on it.
Okay.
I mean, everybody want everybody to be good.
Fair and way to be good.
You've got to have a plan B.
No, for sure.
And that's 19.
Remember I had Joe Burrow ready in line for you, you know what I'm saying?
No, for sure.
That's 19.
They might not pick that up.
You ain't allowed.
Man, let's look over here and see what your boy is doing over here with the Browns, man.
They said the Browns have discussed Marvin Harrison, Jr. trade from the Cardinals.
The Browns have discussed the Marvin Harrison Jr.
Trade from the Cardinal?
Yes.
Joe, Joe, what do you think of the possibility that has happened?
I think if it could happen, what, what's the, what's the, what's the, what's the likelihood?
What do you, what do you?
I hope it's super duper likely.
And I think that Andrew Burry can make it happen.
We got the assets.
And Marvin Harrison Jr.
is the kind of receiver that I like.
I love him.
He has some struggle.
He had some struggles.
He had some struggles.
He had a little struggles, but he overcame those struggles.
He overcame no struggles.
A couple of drops, like you said.
It's a rookie year, Debo.
Give him time.
He's a grinder, and he's still on a guy.
I got to go against you somewhere, maybe.
I know, I know, I know.
I know.
He's a grinder, though.
I really like him.
I like his grind.
I like the way he works.
I like the way he stays out the way.
Like you said, he did have a couple of drops early, but he was young.
That was young.
He's his rookie year.
I think he's going to be a great receiver.
I love the way he goes about his business.
And I think getting him on the team, yes.
He's going to help out our receiver room dramatically.
And that's not the only receiver that we need.
We're cooking now.
We're cooking.
I like him in the spot.
He could be wide receiver two.
Now, Judy, he would step over with Judy.
Judy could be wide receiver three.
Now, we still need one more.
We need to do while receiver room.
They tried to get a dude from New Orleans.
What's his name?
Olave.
Yeah, Chris Olave.
Yeah, Chris Olave.
At the deadline, they couldn't get it.
And that's another one they said Barry
still got on this radar to see if he can make that happen now.
Mm-hmm.
He's going to try to, hey, y'all got to get somebody to get him the ball.
There you go.
You know what I'm saying?
Because you ain't got a line right now to block for anybody.
We're getting, we're working on that.
You know, I'm just saying, Joe, I mean, you can't control the ball if you ain't got
an offensive line.
I'm just saying, man.
We're still working on it.
We're still going to get our line.
We got to figure out what we're going to do with Joe, my boy, Joe Pintonio,
trying to figure out what we're doing there.
did.
But offensive line,
but that's the thing we know.
We know what we need.
We need line.
We need to make sure we,
that was crazy how we had everybody
up in the air for a minute,
but we're still working on getting it right.
Draft picks for linemen,
free agency for linemen,
free agency for wide outs,
free agency for linemen.
Draft picks, free agency,
and all that.
For both.
For offensive line and for wide receivers.
for offensive line and for wire receives.
Yes, yes.
Okay, okay.
Well, tell me what you think of this.
Cleveland actually got a tackle from Houston.
That's what I was telling you.
They got Howard.
They got Howard over there in exchange for a fifth round,
and he's getting the three years 66, sorry, 63 million extension.
No, he's coming off of that.
I think this is his last year of that deal.
Is it?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I think so.
I think so.
I know we're not walking into the crazy big dream like that, the crazy big.
Right.
Let me check that again.
I could be wrong, though.
I believe they said they give him an extension, though.
Yeah, they might understand them, but they could.
I'm telling you, I said 36.
I believe it was three, four, six six, because last, what was this PF?
Pro Football Focus?
They said they had him at a 71 and a 77.
He was 17th among qualified tackles in past blocking 77.1, sorry.
PFF.
Good old PFF.
Yeah.
Yeah, for sure.
I'm trying to tell you, they give me money.
They sent him over there.
They gave up a fit for him and then cleaning paid me.
And he's going to block.
That's what we need.
What I just tell?
I mean, anybody is better than what you all got now because y'all ain't got nothing, man.
Yeah, I ain't got.
Watch this.
Look, we're already cooking.
There you go.
We're already cooking.
And speaking to Texan, man, Texans say they still back in stride after everything that happened.
They said that's still their guy.
I mean, from 2000, what was it, 23?
Mm-hmm.
Two-2023 where he said he was a, he personally said himself that he was a top five quarterback.
I think he threw for over 4,100.
I don't remember how many touchdowns.
I ain't got it.
But since then, the next year he was sacked, what, second most with 52.
Then I believe in 25, they dropped that to maybe 23, 23 sacks.
But, I mean, I don't know how much it helped because he still threw for a career low,
just over 3,000 yards.
He did miss three games, but even his yards per game was 2.7.
team career low.
He's actually undefeated in Wildcard round playoff,
806 yards, passing five touchdowns, two interceptions.
And he is also owing three in divisional round playoffs with 53% completion,
600, a little over 600 yards, one touchdown, full interceptions.
But they still got his back.
They still got us back.
Even the defensive lineman, which is named,
Will Anderson after the playoff loss, he said, yo, we still got our quarterback.
We behind him.
We rallied behind him.
We didn't get the outcome we wanted, but that's why we had the offseason to get better and grow.
Even the GM, when he was asked about the possibility of trading, immediately he shut it down.
He said, we're not trading our quarterback.
He said he's going to be playing quarterback for the Houston, Texas in 2026.
He called it Moronic Chatter.
Moronic.
Moronic chatter.
He just said he's going to be there for the near future.
He said 2026.
Hey, hey, yes, sir.
But when they asked him in February about a contract extension for CJ,
he replied with the, hey, we don't talk publicly about contracts in anybody's
particular situation.
But, hey, Damiq O'Reilly said about the contract.
contract extension. This office seat, he was like, hey, we're not getting into that right now.
I don't know. I think, I think we got somebody that's like, okay, I'm going to wait
and see how I go and work my way through it. Then you got another one. The GM will probably
got more on the table than the Miko because he just got there. Like, hey, no, that's that's our guy
right now. I ain't talking contract.
That's, that's what they got to do. You know, is this what have you done for?
for me lately, Debo.
And I mean, this is what I'm saying.
And after those games, I mean, sometimes it looks a little tricky.
When your defense is playing that well, you know what I'm saying?
And you don't end up going.
And I think C.J. Strout is a baller, too.
He's going to be there.
He deserves to be there.
He's played really well.
But for them to stand on the line, it's like this.
Action speak loud of the words.
Are we talking about giving this man a new deal?
Are we talking about C.J. Stroud being the future for the Texans for the next five?
Or are we just talking about picking up this fifth year option?
You know what I'm saying?
He's definitely going to be here next season.
That's when you really know.
Like, you're going to show me how much you love me if you can put up that 200, you know what I'm saying?
With 100 guaranteed.
That's going to show me that you really, really are rocking with you.
And I'm your real franchise quarterback.
So with this, I'm not mad at them because I'm looking at it.
They play the defense balled out.
And like, see, they're just coming off of not doing too well in the playoffs.
So, I mean, he's, he's a great quarterback.
quarterback. So for them, I mean, they could do it. The same way Sam Darnold, he was with the Jets,
and then he looks like a completely different person here. I'm looking at, he's young. He hasn't
been in the league that long. You can give him some more time to mature or it's like, this is the
best defense that we could have possibly had, C.J. Strau, you can, I don't know if you can be
able to do it here. For me, they're giving him another year. I think C.J. Strauss going to,
he's got to go out there and ball out. You have to perform better than what you did in the
playoffs last year.
Consistency, not turning the ball over.
You have a team that the defense, y'all could have won to join.
So when I'm looking at it at the union.
How can they, bro, stop.
They could have won the joint, dude.
Listen, I'll agree with you.
His whole body of work, like, over the last three years, it don't, it's not bad, but
it ain't great either.
20th and QBR, ninth in passing yards, 12th with interceptions for quarterbacks
with at least, what, 30 starts.
then he's tied 14th.
He has three playoff wins,
which I'm credited that to the defense,
especially, you know,
because he had six interceptions in the playoffs, dude.
Like, and on top of that, they have to decide.

In 2023, a story gripped the UK, evoking horror and disbelief.
The nurse who should have been in charge of caring for tiny babies is now the most prolific
child killer in modern British history.
Everyone thought they knew how it ended.
A verdict, a villain, a nurse named Lucy Leppie.
Lucy Letby has been found guilty.
But what if we didn't get the whole story?
The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapses.
I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast, Doubt, the case of Lucy Letby, we follow the evidence

who Lucy Lettby was.

then about his fifth year option on May 1st.
Like, what are you going to do, Joe?
What are you doing on his fifth year option?
Because soon as you do the fifth year option,
you already know that's guaranteeing him something in 2027.
What that is, I don't know.
Yeah, I don't know.
And they lost the tackle.
That's what I'm saying, and not protecting him either.
He looks like your quarterback is getting hit upside the head also.
So it's not looking like, it's looking tricky for the GM.
It's looking tricky for CJ because I think he's a good quarterback.
But you can't go into games throwing that many interceptions in your defense is balling and lose.
You know what I'm saying?
So like it just doesn't look good.
And when you're walking on like, oh, no, like the stats and all that stuff, it's all good.
But what have you done for me lately?
and that's why I think the GM isn't standing on the long-term contract.
Like, yes, he's going to be here for this upcoming season.
So I think definitely they're going to keep him.
They're going to give him the fifth year option.
So they go keep him and not pick up the fifth, is what you're saying.
Because they pick up the fifth, that means he's there at 2027.
Whether he's playing or starting or not, it don't matter.
But they guaranteeing him something for 2027, whether he's there or not.
We've got to find out the numbers.
So you're going to base it on what his guarantee is in 2027.
Now, don't forget, last year, they gave up the other tackle, what is it,
Lamar Laramie Tunsell over there to the commanders for a fourth rounder.
Yeah, they got to protect the quarterback.
Are they trying to protect him or trying to or trying not to protect?
I don't get it.
You're making these calls to give away basically would end up being like your best
offensive lineman for the last two years.
Same time, too, right?
He definitely, his Joe Mixing was missing this year.
and his number one receiver was hurt.
So that's,
give him a little leeway.
I mean, they're trading everything away, Joe.
They trade, they trade, they trade, they trading.
They trade, they trade, I mean, they trading everything away, Joe.
They trading the offensive line.
So you ever lost one of your teammates in the trade that you was like,
damn, I don't miss my home boy.
Oh, man, when they didn't sign my boy, T.J. Ward,
when we were in Cleveland,
but to Denver, left, went, went.
win the championship.
We was bawling.
Wanted them to resigned my dog, TJ.
They wasn't trying to resign them.
We were balling together.
Went to the Pro Bowl and everything and just let them slide.
Yeah, man.
They'll trade you off, man.
Just like they did.
Just like they did my boy.
Who was it?
Dave Montgomery.
Bro.
They traded my boy Dave Montgomery off.
He's over there now with Houston, man.
Mm-hmm.
He said his good boy.
after they traded him.
He had a post.
We got that post.
Where is it at?
Is that it?
You can barely see it.
He said,
he said it's hard to find the right words for goodbye like this.
He continued on and to say that Detroit has never been a location for me.
It's been a community and all of you have been more than supporters of our team.
You've been, you've been a steady hands.
Loud cheers, honest feedback and quiet strength when I needed it most.
He would later go on to finish it with, I'm beyond grateful.
And I will always be proud to say I was shaped by this city and you with appreciation and respect, D. Mo.
Bro, bro.
I don't think he knew that was coming.
No.
No, sir.
Gibbs had this on this Instagram story.
Seeing it with the son again?
Yes.
Yes, the Sonic and Knuckles.
It be like that sometimes.
That league, devote.
Leagues cutthroat, bro.
Super cutthote.
You be your best man's.
Everything's going good.
Everything's going smooth.
Speaking of cutthroat, the commanders, they released Lattermore
after just 11 games with the team, bro.
My dude got 11.
games in there.
They cutting, what was it?
They saving 18 and a half in the, in cap without any dead money.
And, hell, he turning 30.
You know how they be when you, y'all, you turn in 30, you know, you know how the NFL
act about that 30 number, especially at a skill position.
Yeah.
That's, that's your, you're 50.
Too.
You hit 30.
You act like you're legitimately 50.
No question, man.
That's what happened.
You better, you got to stop.
BFF ain't helping me either, though.
They gave him a 99 and a 94th in coverage and overall defensive grade.
I think he got hurt, though.
Yeah, he did.
Yeah.
And then the commanders, hell, they finished 28 against the pass.
Yeah, I can't say I'm surprised after reading all that right there.
No, man, I know how that is, man.
I've a lot of more baller, but when you get older in the league and soon as you start losing one,
you lose a step, you get you.
get hurt, hit the ACL or something like that, and then you're in the 30s, they're not trying to,
they're trying to find a way to get you, they're trying to find a replacement for you, Coach.
Oh, no question.
Where do you think he can land, though?
You think he can land somewhere?
I mean, I want him to, somewhere that's probably got a nice, like, he's a good player, good player.
Somebody that doesn't have to do as much press man, though.
Like, I would want him to definitely be able to do more zones, more reading the quarterback.
So now I know just being able to use his brain a little bit more.
Okay.
I'm going to go with a, I'm not even going to go with a team.
I'm just going to go with this.
I believe he's still like rehabbing his knee.
So that's going to be a thing.
But I believe the biggest thing is going to be what number he is willing to come in and play for.
Yeah.
That's going to be, that's going to be the big issue.
They got to start with it.
I mean, it's a real live thing, man.
Once you start getting over that number and then you start getting hurt, they can go without.
So it's more like the little little deals.
Like, do you really want to play in the league or are you still trying to, you know what I'm saying, make the bag?
Because I think that's where it kind of hit me like.
You can come over here and maybe get a little practice squad and then we can get you active.
I'm like, oh, man, that's wild.
You know what I'm saying?
So if you really want to get.
I ain't got no practice squad time left.
I used all mine up, Joe.
See?
You all, Debo, come on, man.
You got to be chilling now, Debo.
You're 40, you 47, man.
You just relaxing.
I'm now, I'm getting into my retirement.
I'm getting into my retirement now.
My hips.
I did that one time, Joe.
I came out of retirement one time.
There's no way I can come out with you.
No, at the day one, I was ready.
If my dad, he hadn't told me you finished, you, you, you, you, you finished
what you start, bro, I would have been like, hey, man,
y'all could have had this back, man.
Man, see the front note.
Joe, I was T-shod up, Joe.
Two of them things that week, Joe.
Oh, my God.
Brough, I was down so bad.
Yeah.
And on top of that, when I came back,
they was like, oh, you go get about 15 snaps.
Man, the boys gave me about 35 snaps.
I'm like, oh, Lord.
So you know I was, I was cooked after the game.
Yes.
I was super cooked, man.
Brough, another trade rumors.
We got Max Crosby, man.
They say they expect the Cowboys to at least kick the ties and see what's going on.
You know, according to, I guess, Sports Illustrated, they said they go at least kick the ties across.
First, Joe, where do you think the chances to Dallas?
and do you like the idea?
I like the idea of Max Crosby going to Dallas.
I think it's definitely better than the Raiders.
At least we know that they're going to, at least I can say this.
I know DAC, I know CD, them dudes aren't trying to lose.
So I can at least say that they're going to be,
he's going to be on the team that has aspirations to try to win the Super Bowl.
So all the talk they've been doing, they haven't done it.
forever, but he was in the Raiders and they kept them on the bench trying to lose games.
So I just don't see the Cowboys doing that at least.
So if I were Max, probably, I mean, if I was Mad Max, I wouldn't be mad to go to,
I wouldn't be mad to get out of the Raiders for show, but then going to Dallas,
knowing that he's trying to win the Super Bowl.
You got a franchise quarterback.
You got a franchise quarterback there.
If I'm mad Max, I'm not mad at that.
I'm going to Dallas.
I'm getting a star.
I'm getting my bag.
And I'm trying to win.
And I'm trying to win, obviously, and I got a quarterback in the offense.
I got C.D. Lamb over there.
I got George Pickens.
They're trying to win.
So now I'm on Mad Max.
I got to turn this defense up.
And I'm in there during trying to hoop.
I like that from, I like that from Max Crosby.
You know what?
At first, I was like, I don't even see that happening.
I just didn't see the likelihood of happening.
But now I'm thinking about it.
When you look at it, remember how we just like, yo, only way you go get somebody to give them that many first is if this is a person that could come in there and make such an impact that it's going to put them in contention for Lombardi.
Hey, now that I'm thinking about this, bro, they only had 35 sacks last year.
That was tied for like 25th, 26, 27th like that.
Yes.
The worst past defense in the NFL
over 251 yards a game.
And yes,
like the easiest way
to make an impact on that
is make it to where the quarterback
can't hold the ball all day.
You get, you listen,
you just got quite a William.
Listen, man, Jerry, you might want to go do this, brother.
You might want to go do this.
Now, you don't have a drought of 30 years.
standing in the way
you getting another Lombardi
you put
Crosby over there
on the edge
they ain't gonna be
to hold that ball like that
DBEs ain't got to sit there
and follow and chase dudes
while they adjust their routes
and all that
them do's over there
in the run game
I believe this is that
that spot
hell look what the offense is doing
man
the office has a help
where they can stop somebody
over there
Dack doing something crazy
over there
the office doing something crazy
over there. That's the crazy. That's why he here, Jerry, this could be it for you, man.
This could put you back over there standing with a Lombardi at the end of the year.
Oh, man. See, that's the one thing is, though, Debo is when we say this, the Cowboys have, I don't,
it doesn't enjoy me. It doesn't, it doesn't make me happy when I say this because the Cowboys
got the goods. They got a quarterback. They got the, they got the receivers, they got CD,
their offense is nice.
The offensive line is solid.
They just went got Quinn Williams.
Big man in the middle.
He's solid.
He's really nice.
Mess around.
Go get Max Crosby.
And then you got, they got draft.
Get you some corners, safeties, get you some defense.
Mess around.
You got picks.
You got money.
Get you some defense.
I can nullify.
And they could be fired.
I can nullify that with Cid.
I can, I mean, I'm sorry.
I can nullify that with Max.
They can nullify that with Crosby, man.
I put him on the edge.
You can't, you got to take.
You need two of them.
Now you can't listen.
I'm trying to, listen.
Jerry, if you don't listen to nothing else.
If you don't listen, nothing we say.
Listen to this.
Max Carlsby can be the guy to get you back
into being them balls.
Y'all might be able to be them balls.
They go to these backs.
And then they're just going to have the defense.
They're going to have to bring some defense.
Dude.
Well, how many points was the office?
and scoring a game, bro.
Hey, Chad, somebody tell me something.
Five to 30.
Brough, come on.
You telling me, you...
They give us 30?
Bro, they gave our defense 30, bro.
We'd have been undefeated.
That's what I'm trying to tell you.
Undefeated.
30 a game?
Stop playing with.
And they got some picks from your boy going over there to Green Bay.
Michael.
Didn't they get something from that?
Man, listen.
They got, they have a lot of,
they have a lot of assets.
Listen.
Jerry.
You about to make some shape.
Jerry, listen, man.
But they're gonna get,
they tag him a man.
Jerry, Jerry, I'm, listen.
Y'all, y'all tell Jerry,
any of y'all here who are cowboys,
cowgirls fans, whatever it is,
Cowboys fans, listen,
tell Jerry, show us,
that he cared more about that football team
than that oil money, man.
And go on ahead and drop what you need to get
Max Carlsby on your team.
Man, we're going to see.
Go ahead.
He said he owe him.
He said, I feel sorry for you guys.
Show me.
My bad, guys.
I'm going to go ahead.
Max, I'm going to go ahead.
Look, he's showing me.
Look, if I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan, though,
if I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan,
I'm geeked.
I'm happy because he brought in Georgia.
Pickens, he's doing little stuff that makes it like, okay, that's a vibe.
I like that.
You addressing things that we need.
And our team is not trash.
That is not trash.
The people, I don't think people get Dak Prescott and that's not trash.
I know.
It's not that.
Listen, that, that, listen, that, I just think that was just a late, late gamer
because it just be up by so many, but last year,
he can go up by many.
He was doing it.
He was, yes.
Man, we're watching again.
He's putting the ball in a good place.
Yeah, yeah, he's doing it.
Ball placement, yes.
Yeah, I ain't going to lie to you, man.
