This is an IHeart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
Hey guys, it's us.
The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe.
I'm Kevin.
And I'm Nick.
And guess what?
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it.
But, you know, tired and sick.
Tired and sick.
Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you.
you get your podcast. Just listen.
We don't care where you hear it.
What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas.
And I'm C.J. Toledano. It's our favorite time of the year on our podcast, point game, the playoffs.
We're digging into the biggest surprises of the season. And I'm looking back on some of
my greatest playoff moments. If we didn't talk ever again, I was harmed.
You just understood. That's how personal it got.
Wow.
Then after that game seven, Marquis keep coming to him. He's like, you know I love you, dog.
You know, it's all love. This was just playoffs. This was just basketball.
So listen to Point Game on the I Heart
Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Your husband is not who you think he is.
Your body is not what you thought it was.
Your identity is formed by a secret history.
I'm Danny Shapiro, and these are just a few of the stunning stories I'll be exploring
on the 14th season of Family Secrets.
He kind of shoved me out of the way and said, move.
And he went out the front door, and he jumped in a car and drove off.
And that was the last time I saw him.
Listen to Season 14 of Family Secrets on the IHeart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is,
getting a racist statue removed.
And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is,
getting a new one put up in its place.
I'm Akela Hughes, and Rebel Spirit Season 2 is about both of those things.
As I was watching these statues come down,
I was thinking about what it meant that I grew up in a majority black city
in which there were more homages to enslavers than there were to enslave people.
Listen to Rebel Spirit Season 2 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Every family has its secrets.
But what happens when you discover that your dad has been living a double life?
That is not the look of an innocent man.
Is everyone lying to me about who they are?
I felt such desperation.
I felt it was what I had to do.
Listen to deep cover the family man.
on the iHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hey, man, listen, man.
Meanwhile, look here, man.
The Patriots traded for the Eagles wide receiver,
A.J. Brown and a blockbuster deal, man.
Blockbuster deal.
GM, Howard Roseman, he said,
I think he felt that for his family at this stage of his career,
it was something that he was designed,
that he was looking forward to
and in all our conversations
he was very positive about his experiences
in Philly
just felt like going forward here
was something that he preferred.
Huh?
No, look here, man.
Yeah, that's just goofy.
He's just talking.
He just running this mouth.
He said he wasn't going to give.
He also said that he wasn't going to give AJ up for nothing.
I feel like you gave AJ
up in this for like for minimum like i well also you got a j was you know he was he really want to be
there he made it known that he ain't really want to be there so it was you know it was probably
kind of hard for them to get the maximum you know amount of uh capital for him
considered that he had already put it out there like y'all i ain't trying to be here i don't want to
be here y'all ain't using me correctly you know all that you know how you think it's go look for
AJ over there. You think he's going to regret going there? You think the Patriots may regret maybe
getting him or how you think that's what it's going to work out beautifully. I think since he played
for the coach before, he was always in the last situation with Philly. You know what I'm saying? And I know
getting towards he's getting a little older in his career. So now it's like it's more what you're
going to do. And I think with Drake May, with him being with the coach already before,
knowing that situation, they already were dang there in the Super Bowl. You know what I'm saying?
in the Super Bowl.
So you're coming to a team that's already locked in, already good enough to go.
So you don't want to come in there throwing off no bad vibes.
You want to come in there as a number one receiver, helping out your young quarterback
and try to help them to win the Super Bowl.
So with me and being able to play with that coach before.
So with me, I think it's a good trade.
I think the Patriots, they're doing some stuff like the Rams.
You're trying to, you know what you're a little bit away.
The Patriots receiver last year, they had Stefan Diggs, but they didn't.
really have no guy that I felt like they could just get open on one-on-one, one-on-one
coverage. So I think with getting him to the team, being able to help out Drake Mayday
rookie quarterback, I mean, their younger quarterback, I think it's going to be super big for them.
So a shout out to the Patriots.
I think, yeah, I think the Patriots did a good job.
I just, I feel like, I really feel like if they, well, they couldn't, but Philly could
have got, I feel like they could have got more for him, but they obviously couldn't get more.
because of all the dynamics of how he, you know, dealt with the stuff, you know,
especially publicly and, you know, how he wanted to get away, you know,
cat just reading a book on the sideline doing, you know, doing stuff like that, dude.
And with him already having, you know, a relationship with Raibu from over there in Tennessee,
I think Vrable, you know, obviously must or thinks at least he has a good understanding
and relationship with him that he feel that this is not.
something that would happen, you know, over at the majors.
It feels like their relationship was good enough.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You know, they show.
And I'm to the mindset of I'm F them picks, too, honestly.
I like that's why when the Browns is building it, that's for the future.
That's hit or miss.
You got to make sure you hit on who you pick.
It could be busts.
So that's why when the good teams, that first round pick, I see Trent McDuffie with my own eyes.
I see A.J. Brown.
He's done it.
in the league.
You know what I'm saying?
So you don't know,
oh, they can grow,
they can get cool.
That's why Jared Verst.
At the same time,
we got a first round pick for him.
But Jerry versus two years in,
two pro bowls,
that's a first round.
If you could get him in the first round,
I would want Jared Verst in the first round.
So sign me up for that.
So that's why I'm more in the favor.
If you're a good team and like these picks are good,
you know what I'm saying?
But if you need a quarterback,
it's more like, boom, I need that.
Or you want to go specifically at somebody.
But if you can go look at a free agent
and these dudes that are kind of,
kind of like coming up on their first contract,
coming right out of their bricky deals,
and you see one that you like and you know,
I'm going to go get a baller here.
Go get that so you know that you don't have to.
It's a chance that if he hits, then we're good.
You're not just sitting on that.
I'd rather have a guarantee.
Oh, no, I know McDuffey.
I see tape.
He can guard number ones in the NFL right now.
You go draft somebody.
Oh, no, his speed.
He looks good, man, that's South Carolina.
Man, he's getting bust out here.
You know what I'm saying?
So, like, I don't know what happened?
we drafted him in the seventh round.
What happened?
Oh, I mean, the first round will happen.
Yeah.
So you can go get Nick Herbick, fourth round picks.
You start getting those.
I'm like, now, would you rather trade him and get a first round pick for Nick Herbick?
Yes, because I know now that Nick Herbick wasn't a fourth round pick.
I've seen him.
He deserves to be coming for a first round pick.
So when dudes start looking at players like that, if you hit on those picks, then it's good.
If you miss on those first round picks that ended up being somebody you thought was going to be nice,
then not as good.
That's why I'm with those.
Oh, I see Nick Hurley.
Well, y'all, y'all been more hit than miss.
I will say.
I know we've been more missed than hit, you know,
at least over the course of our last, since, you know,
2016, like the, they've been trading all their stuff away.
We've been missing.
Yeah.
So.
I think with them, you got to go.
If you're a team that is a player away and you got that first round pick
and you go see somebody like that, go get them.
So I'm like, they went and addressed them.
the need.
They needed a receiver to go help out their quarterback because that's, I think the one
thing that they was missing.
I don't, I don't know.
I think, I think they had a combination of things.
I don't think the one receiver for me would have, would have got them that Super Bowl.
They was getting locked down too many places and, and had too many holes, I think, on offense
to be able to be like, okay, that one person, like with L.A.?
Yeah.
Rams?
Yeah.
Miles there?
Super Bowl.
Miles there, Super Bowl.
Super Bowl.
No question.
No question about it.
I guess the NFL, they clowning, they said NFL World Blowning, A.J. Brown
posting an AI-generated photo of him wearing a Patriots jersey as a kid.
It said Nike started making NFL jersey in 2012.
Either A.J. Brown.
looking surprisingly small at 15 years old where this picture is edited.
Look at the picture.
Look at it, man.
Brough.
E. Wiler.
He's just putting that up, bro.
Geeked up.
It definitely thought I'm going to say, AI.
Yeah, he just, yeah.
He's being funny.
I've been wanting to be that since I was a child.
Yeah, for sure, for sure.
It got to be.
He ain't, yeah.
He's trolling.
He's trolling.
percent trolling, bro.
There's no way it's anything else other than this.
Hey, it's good.
We did talk about Odell being signed.
So the Giants.
Yes.
Odell Beckham signed to the Giants.
They said he will return to New York where he began his NFL career.
What do you think of this?
You like it?
I told you yesterday.
I liked it.
A nice little reunite him with his spot where he all, where it all started.
And I think he's going to be able to do his thing.
I don't think he's going to be able to be like the number one,
but Odell still got quickness.
No, no, no, no.
Like, are he going to be the number two, number three receiver?
I don't know about that, dude.
You see three?
See, three.
Three.
Three-ish.
But he's going to be able to get out there,
show them dudes, what's done.
And I think it's just a feel-good story for me, too.
That's my dog.
Yeah, I love it.
I love it.
I like it.
I love it.
I love it.
I like it because he gets a chance to,
close out his career where he started it.
Like you said, feel good.
You know, if everything works out that way.
They also signed juju.
Dang.
That's going to be a dance.
They got the day.
That's going to be a dancing squad over there.
They got our old receiver, too.
What's his name?
Ooh.
Dude, from last year.
Austin.
Okay.
Speedster.
Yeah, they got him from last year.
They got a, dude, they got a whole,
they got a whole room of receivers over there, dude.
It's thick over there, it's deep.
Like, I'm excited to see, yeah,
they're getting darts on weapons then.
Yeah, I don't understand.
I don't, yeah.
I mean, yeah, I guess you could,
foo.
Somebody ain't going to be there.
I don't know who it is.
Somebody ain't going to be there.
He probably going
Calvin Austin might do some special teams out there too
so that he could make room for himself
and he still could do some wide out.
He was fast.
Araw hit him up the sideline.
I'm not mad at it.
And you never know too.
I saw my man.
We got to wait for Malik neighbors
to get back out there healthy.
Right.
That's what I do.
I'm saying.
They got a lot of people over there, bro.
They got a lot of bodies over there right now.
I don't know how many of them
Ross is still 53, right?
Yeah.
Yeah, I'm like to say, I don't know
how many of them you can actually keep.
And so if you keep more of them,
you got to lose something somewhere else.
You can't be able to lose nothing.
We're going to see.
O'Dill, he's going to be on the squad, though.
That's the facts.
Okay.
I mean, I hope so.
I mean, like I say,
you get to finish where he started off.
Good field, good story.
Russell Wilson accepts an offer to
join CBS sports putting a pause on his playing career putting a pause
I don't know about putting a pause on that's one of them what's the pauses though
it's one of those uh it could be like a um what's my man philip rivers pause
it could be but dain i don't think i wouldn't i wouldn't consider no pause i think of what
he only started with three games last year and then jackson uh it's dart right dart yeah
Jackson Dart, he started, and then he lost the second place to, the second string to James, Winston, right?
Yeah, so.
I mean, congratulations on, you know, getting you.
What year is this for Russell, man?
See, right, it might be about it.
15, 14.
Yeah, it might be about that time.
I don't know.
What year is it for, Chad?
What year is it for Russ?
I say about 15.
15 something about right.
Go ahead, get on that good old CBS sports.
You know what I'm saying?
Ain't nothing wrong with that.
I don't know, bro.
14.
It's 14 years.
Yeah.
Yeah.
How do you think that'll work out?
With what?
With him on TV.
I don't know.
We would have to see it.
I don't, why don't you know, bro?
I don't know.
I just don't know.
I think, I don't know, I just don't, I don't feel like, he gives off that.
Like, he's like, he's like very, very, like, well.

Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, name?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas?
guys. I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what
we should call it. Well, we were
thinking, I'm originally calling
it one of the early
names of our band before
Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes. I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for
the podcast, people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down
on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, Jonas,
and offered it up as a potential title
for the podcast. But thanks for
remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you
get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it. I am the therapy gecko. I am an
unlicensed lizard therapist who takes phone calls from real anonymous humans about their problems,
such as this. Sometimes I'll have my girlfriend preach to spicy food and kind of baby birded it
into my mouth. Is that weird? Or this. I had my boyfriend over and I had dirty dishes.
is everywhere. And I put the dirty dishes in our closet so he wouldn't see them.
If you're the kind of person that would enjoy being a fly on the wall of a stranger's therapy session,
or if you pass people on the street and constantly wonder what might be going on in their heads,
this is the podcast for you.
This week on Therapy Gecko, we're hearing all real, authentic human stories about anything,
from relationships to family drama to serendipitous encounters with unexpected people and things.
If real people peak your interest, listen to Therapy Gecko on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is.
Getting a racist statue removed.
And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is.
Getting a new one put up in its place.
As long as there's a politics of race in America, there's going to be a politics of remembering the civil war.
To get to school, I had to go down Robert Lee Boulevard.
to the grocery store, I had to go down Jefferson Davis Parkway.
If you're an historian and you leave out half of what the history is, you're not doing your job.
I'm Akila Hughes. In Rebel Spirit, season two goes deep on both of those things.
The fights, the politics, the people who won, and my personal campaign to add something to the
Kentucky State House that's actually worth the wall space.
We are more than our bodies. We contain essence. We contain spirit.
How do you represent that? They are just fueling a fire.
that is really catching.
You'll see what I mean.
Listen to Rebel Spirit season two
on the IHeart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Mainstream media is full of crude depictions
of The Un-Housed,
stories that shame and blame
and paint the Un-Housed as a monolith.
We The In-House is the podcast that's changing that.
I'm Theo Henderson, creator and host,
and for years I've created a space
whereas the un-housed and their advocates can tell their own stories.
In the last few months alone, I've interviewed unhoused parents, immigrants, mutual aid organizers, veterans,
the LGBTQTIA-plus community, and the policymakers who make the laws that impact the unhoused existence.
Woody & Houses a two-time Webby and Signal Award-winning show with many exciting guests on the horizon.
Tune in this week for my interview with Dr. Jill Whittler, a street doctor turned in fluence,
whose work with the unhoused community
has made a huge impact online
and in her community.
Listen to Weylandhoused
on the IHard Radio app,
Apple podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.
I don't think it's going to, like,
attract people to, like,
I don't know if it's going to translate,
bro, like.
We will, yes, we will, we will see.
We will see. I don't, he's a really,
he's a, he's a,
Russell was a really nice guy.
He's a dude.
Yes, he is.
Don't question about it.
He's well spoken.
He's, he's, like, salt of the earth.
He's a good dude, man.
It's just in his...
It's a transition.
Translation of expressing, you know, what he's saying.
It's just like, I don't want to say it's like monotone.
It's just like...
I don't know if it adds to people want to...
You don't know if it's...
Like, listen.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Like, that's, like, it's Russell.
Like, I want to tune in to hear him.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, I'm not saying, I'm not, I'm not, it's not anything against him.
It's just like, you know, you have some people who have like, you know, like different tones or how, how they speak or how they, how they talk.
Like, it's just, you know, something.
And it could be a situation where he may express himself differently on TV than he doing.
Because we never, I never sat down and really heard him talk, talk, talk.
I mean, been able to, like, talk ball or how he, how he looks.
except ball, how he evaluates it.
So, you know what I'm saying?
Like, Troy Akeman, I didn't know.
I never really knew how these people were going to talk.
I thought Tom Brady's voice sounded different than it was when he started broadcasting.
So I'm like, yo, is that Tom Brady's voice?
So you never.
Well, some people do voice training.
You do dialogue.
You know what I'm saying?
You never know.
Try and get different twings or twangs out of your voice.
I don't care nothing about that.
My stuff is what it is.
I just go deal with it.
If he starts saying, you know what I'm saying?
Except for when I was acting, I had to change it up when I was acting, of course.
But other than that, I'm like, yo, it's too, like, dude, acting, like, you got to really get into that, like, character.
You got to build a whole different thing, man.
You got to box yourself into it.
That's what I'm saying.
I think he could take on some funniness where, like, you know, some of the stuff that he.
But he would have to act.
That would not be him.
This ain't scripted.
This is unscripted.
You got to be you.
Okay.
Yeah, because if he started doing the, the.
And if they like you, it's easy.
Because now you don't have to act.
You know what's not an act, though?
I think his stuff isn't an act.
You know what I'm saying?
Oh, I know he's not an act.
It's 100% pure, but I'm saying that pureness of him.
I don't know how that will translate to people.
Because what is the, well, he's saying.
Like, television, I don't know how that.
He was saying like, uh, what's he like, see all's nation?
Let's ride.
Is that really him?
Is that really him?
Because I'm like, if that's his real.
I don't know if that saying is his, but that is his voice saying it.
You see all that.
You say like, I don't, I just, I don't know how it's going.
Is it translating those people?
They said it's going to be CBS.
CBS, that's right.
Hey, I don't know.
We'll see.
We will see.
I'm rooting for a guy.
I, yeah, for sure.
I like, you know, I like seeing guys that come out there and are able to, you know,
advanced their career beyond the actual football field and continue to, you know, be in the sport that
that they love. Because that man, Russ, I tell you, I met him a couple of times that he is Jim to the earth with
me. He was super nice. So I will root for him. But that man is he, dude, he's so, he's so nice,
that you actually question yourself. Is he actually, you know what I mean? Is he joking? Is he, is he
plotting on me? This is him. Consistently, 100% genuine, dude. Is he actually, is he? Is he talking to me? Is he. Consistly,
100% genuine dude all the time.
See, All-Nation?
Never.
I'm done.
That's it.
Man, you're doing, man.
You ain't, you ain't worth, you, dude.
Tell me, I, man, after all of those different emotions I was going through yesterday.
Yeah, Joe, how you, how you feeling now, Joe?
After my.
Tell me, tell me, tell me what first happened when you first saw.
Like how did, what, what, what feelings came upon you?
Our first thing that I thought was never, ever, ever believe anything Andrew Barry says.
That's the first thing.
Hey, Joe, he has to do.
I understand.
He has to do what he has to do.
But let me tell you something.
If there's smoke, there's fire.
Okay?
That's the first thing that, because no, no, no, no, no, no, a thousand percent, Dibbo, you said.
that. So now this is the other thing
I'm thinking like, anything
is always up in the air.
Any possibility is
possible. Anything's possible.
Anybody can get traded. Anybody can
be moved from, you know what I'm saying?
So when I heard the first thing, I was like this. Wow.
I'm not going to listen to Andrew
Barry anymore because he can't
tell me the truth. I know. I believe.
Okay, well, it is what it is.
Listen, if you go and build a personal relationship
with him and he can trust you
that he can tell you the truth behind the scene,
Because Miles knew.
He did.
He hated.
That's why that no clause was there.
No, Clause. That was when...
All right.
Yeah, Miles, yes, he had to agree with it
because he had to make sure.
He was like, okay.
All right, let's get back to your feelings.
Go ahead.
Feelings.
Miles is gone.
I can't listen to Andrew.
I can't trust what Andrew Berry says
just because he is the...
How did that feel for you, Joe?
Did it feel like somebody like...
It felt like...
just knit you at the bottom of your nuts.
It felt like me and my, me and my Brown's going on to go win the playoff games this year
and really try to see how close we were to just being next year's draft away from maybe
getting to the jump.
Now it's more kind of like, I understand it's going to be a 2029 plan to when DeShan's going
to be off, then now Miles is going to be gone.
We're going to have that 2027 pick if it's your door or not, we'll know after.
next season to if we need to get that next quarterback to be the franchise quarterback.
And with all the other picks that we got hit, make them be Nick Herbick that the Steelers got
in the fifth round to where we're picking these good players and they're balling force.
And everybody from Juckins now is one of the best running backs in league.
Fanon Jr.'s pro bowl player.
You know what I'm saying?
Carson, Swechenger, the defensive player at the year.
So you had to talk yourself into telling myself into the realization now of
understanding. Joe, relax. Okay, we're not going to go to the promised land as fast as you thought
because you all are excited, but like, I'm still going to root. I'm still going to be happy.
Just lower your expectations a little bit and root for us to still win. So when we start pulling
stuff off and be like this, dang, okay, it's getting there quicker than I thought. Now I could
be excited than when I'm being like, dang, okay, if we start losing a little early, that 2017,
first round pick start looking a little bit better, you know what I'm saying? Then like, okay,
I'm starting to really plot to like, okay, Joe, you were already excited, but now it's the realization.
They already, we already set this up for more of the future than to be this exact season.
Because when I, I will never root for my browns to lose.
I don't want to go out to the games and want them to lose.
But now with the realization of, dang, we're going to go fight and we may come up a little bit short.
But this is all in plans for the later, better good.
Now I could be a little bit more chill.
So now that, that's kind of, that's kind of what my vibes are.
where I'm like, all right, my Browns, okay, right now might not be the time.
Miles Garrett, I love you to death.
You did everything you needed to do for the Browns.
You came and fought.
You told them that you was ready to go to be traded and came back because they gave you that
bag and gave them 23 sacks and set the NFL record.
I am here for you, my brother, and we still won five games.
So go out there to L.A., go win you a ship because them boys are ready.
They got a squad.
They got the team.
And if you go win them out, I'm going to be so happy for you.
You deserve it.
It's not your bad that we didn't win it over here in Cleveland.
Like, you're not, it's not your fault.
We didn't go to the playoffs.
I'm like, we have Miles and student.
I'm like, because it's not his bad.
He's one of the 22 starters that we have on our team.
And he went to the Pro Bowl seven times out of his nine years, had seven all pros.
He was two-time defensive MVP.
Miles was not the problem.
It's some of these linemen and some of these receivers and these quarterbacks that we had that couldn't get the job.
They didn't get you so mad.
You're pointing fingers now.
Good Lord, Joe.
Defense, defense getting a job,
then we got number one ranked defense.
We have, well, Baker Mayfield did good.
He didn't do his, let me put on Baker.
Baker did his thing.
You're going back now.
But I'm just, you got to.
You still are your feelings, Joe.
You asked me how I felt.
We got to start, we got to start, we got to start to grow from here.
We got to go and we got to let go.
We got to let the hurt go.
You asked me.
If you want to grow and you want to expand and be able to.
I understand, but you, I said, how did you feel?
and then you proceeded to tell me how you felt
and you went past it
and then you double right back to it again
about something from like
Baker Mayfield?
I believe that
Shador Sanders is going to be
the quarterback that we need.
So we're not going to have to use other draft.
Joe, you're everywhere.
Listen, Joe, I'm going to tell the chat.
I'm going to let chat know.
I was actually super, super, very, very, very
concerned about Joe. I was on the phone talking to some law enforcement people. I wanted to go
do a welfare check. But Joe ended up jumping on like one minute before, you know, we were supposed
to air. And then, you know, I still, right now I'm going to talk to him after we get off of here
because he's still, he's still spinning. He's still cycling. But that's, you know, that's something
that I think I can get him to understand and help him work through.
Being, I'm also sort of like, I'm like a human therapy dog.
Like, people tend to gravitate to me and, and tell me things.
And I, and I, and I'm able to help them through their troubles, Joe.
And Joe, you, you are my brother, man.
I love you.
I care about you.
You know what I'm saying?
And, you know, and I understand, like, first it's the calves, and now it's the Browns.
And that can make a man want to go and do unthinkable things.
You know?
How are the guardians doing, Joe?
Solid.
We fight.
Don't.
The guardians are straight.
Don't worry about the guardian.
Hey, I'm going to go.
I'm going to go to the super chat, Joe.
I'm going to super chat, Joe.
You feel it.
You feel bad, Joe, right now.
Joe.
You don't jump me the whole episode.
Listen, Joe, I ain't jumped you.
You were actually on my side.
You was actually on my side.
I was trying to help you see the light.
You were saying we're not going to be good for a while, but I don't believe that.
You're going to be good for at least, at least two.
Yep.
Do you not, do you think Shado is going to be the our quarterback or do you think we're going to need to draft the quarterback in 2027?
I won't know that.
You won't know that.
Okay.
Okay.
Until.
Until.
Until you see him play?
this season?
Until I see him get in a full year.
All right.
Yeah.
I'm not going to put you to five.
And I don't think he's, and I don't think that year of four years going to be this year just from how things are running now because like he's not getting all that prep.
Like it's a big difference when you get all that prep.
You get all that, all the stuff with the ones.
They split in time with the ones.
They're doing all that.
So now he's not getting that.
And he's sharing it.
So I would hate to, if Watson starts and he does well enough to keep it,
he won't be there next year.
It don't matter.
And you guys, I don't think, are going to have a good record anyway.
So that puts you back at the first round with draft capital of a one
and an opportunity to actually go get a quarterback.
As much as I hate to say it, like it puts Sodor in a bad situation
because now they're going to go get a one.
one and he's going to be sitting there without even an opportunity or chance to be the starter
because you're not going to go go one one and then say I'm going to let my five start yeah we'll
that's be anyway man let's go to this uh rena soda 7174 two dollars said joe switch the black and
gold full time from now on you need to switch the black and gold
Four times, Joe.
Look at you over there.
That's that.
That ain't, bro.
Like, you, like, you, like, you are already, like, I ain't never seen you.
Like, just bad, Joe.
Let me.
Honestly.
We got to get to the season.
Our off seasons be crazy.
And the season.
Do you think the season going to be any better?
At least I get that.
At least I get the, man, listen.
We're looking forward to, now we keep looking forward to the next year draft.
We're looking all over to the next year's draft.
How many picks we got?
I'm all looking forward.
looking at see, oh, we got two.
We got two in the 28.
It's 365 days.
I'm like, I don't care.
Who in the squad?
Who do we have right now?
Who's on the team?
Joe, we got another one, man.
Lisa Lynch, 191, 20 Lott.
She said, thank you, James, for the autograph number three photo.
We go Steelers.
She must have bought D-Bovee.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Yes, sir.
So if you go to Debo 92.com and you buy, I think it's $100 worth of Debo gear or something, you get a free autographed picture.
That's a deal.
For sure.
That's a hell of a deal because I know what an autograph picture costs.
Because it costs more than that.
You ain't lying, Debo.
Mike and Mike, $105, said, what up, Debo and Joe.
So this means Aaron Donald's going to return.
Hell now.
that if he do is going to.
And when it comes down to it, if Aaron was to return,
he ain't coming back for cheap.
They didn't make some money for AD, though.
They didn't make some money for AD,
at least a little what.
What do you think?
AD said he ain't coming back.
He ain't coming back to show.
Hell no, for sure, 100%.
Mike and Mike back again.
Another $5.
He said, Joe loves the Brown.

Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news, new?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast.
called Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to a...
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there.
But this one's extra special.
So how did we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band.
Before Jonas Brothers was...
This is how you guys remember it going.
Don't? Yes. I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing, a bit for the
podcast, where people could call in and say, Hey, Jonas, and then I wrote down on my little
notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast. But thanks for
remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you

I had my boyfriend over and I had dirty dishes everywhere and I put the dirty dishes in our closet so he wouldn't see them.

we're speaking with the hottest names in the culture,
like Sway Lee.
Do you realize how legendary you are?
I appreciate that.
I'd be seeing it, but I'm like, man,
I still got, like, so much more to do.
Like, Prince, he dropped, like, 30 albums.
We dropped, like, five right now.
Like, that's the rate we gotta be gone.
Yeah, that's a good attitude.
You also hear stories from industry legends
and hip-hop pioneers like Fab Five Freddy.
I directed when Nas's early videos.
Which one?
One love.
Wow.
Yes.
I literally filmed.
in his apartment in Queensbridge.
His moms were still up in that apartment.
Nans was just beginning to take off.
His pops used to live near me in Harlem.
His dad introduced him to a whole lot of, you know, conscious stuff,
and he made a young prodigy.

But don't love them enough to take a...
Amen.
Joe loved a Brown, but he don't love him, no, big a bagel.
Tell y'all something.
Tell them, tell them what, Joe.
Tell them something.
You know what you're worth.
You know what you're worth.
And at the same time, when I was on that Browns team,
and they tried to take that $4 million for me,
and they paid Brock Oswater.
They tried to take four.
They tried to play Brock Oswater.
He was on the team and didn't do no snaps,
and they gave that man $16 million.
I said,
Oh, Lord.
Why, why from here?
Why from here?
I'm chilling.
Why for I'm going to take the pay cut?
Y'all gave him 16 to do nothing.
Why don't you worry about, like, my funds are, y'all already, I signed the contract.
Now y'all coming back in trying to, I didn't come in to renegotiate.
Y'all, what's going on here?
That's why.
Bad business.
Bad business, Joe.
I love them, though.
But I let a city, the city didn't take the cheese.
It was, it was, the org was like, Joe, you got to, what's up here?
I'm saying.
I know
He can't do it
Okay
Okay
What's up
Joe
We got
Colorado ruffing
Ten dollars
Said bro
We all know
Miles girl
Just wanted to get out of you
That's facts
What she got
What she got over there
With the medals Joe
Golds
Chloe Kim
Got two those
And a silver
She got those
Yeah
Okay.
She can't be sitting in Cleveland.
Yes, she can.
Yes, she can.
She can.
She can come to Cleveland.
This was all set up.
Her family and Cali.
This is all set up.
Ain't that probably engaged, wifey or something coming up, all that good stuff?
What are we talking about?
It wasn't.
This is a move for the family.
Yeah.
For the, for this, this is a double move.
Family.
and trophy.
He's about to be involved.
We don't talk.
What you're talking about?
She can't be sitting in Cleveland.
What?
How many games y'all got on national TV?
What?
National TV?
They got seven.
L.A. got seven.
They knew what was going on.
She's going to be over there in the box like Taylor Swift
with her gold medals on her neck,
sitting up there in the good sunshine.
Debo.
Good sunshine.
You know ain't no sun in Cleveland.
in the summertime
in the beginning
of the season
first game of the season
it's beautiful out there
first month of the season
after that that shit all down here
one game beautiful
one game
one game
y'all get one game at home
in September that's it
you got one game going to be beautiful
you all praying to be some girls
it's looking beautiful out there
come on you can't even lie that
browns that browns grass
five
you can't even
lie. I ain't go lie.
Grass was better. Grass was great.
There you go. You can't even say it was.
You know it was fine.
Right.
Better than. Now you move into a different state and what's going to happen?
Because you ain't close to that water no more. You know that mix of that area.
I'll tell you the service road. They give you a different mix of Mr.
Mr. Hazzlems, Mr. Jimmy and D. Hazelms.
One thing they don't play about is that bread. And they're going to make sure that the
Browns won't have the nicest facilities. I can almost guarantee you that we're going to have
grass on that end, though. Oh, that's,
Oh, that's for sure.
Mm-hmm.
Uh-uh.
That could be turd.
They ain't trying to take care of all that.
End up.
It ain't rolling out.
I don't know, yeah.
I got a check.
I got a chat.
I got a chat.
I got a chat.
All right.
Listen, Joe, the one good thing you all had was grass.
Y'all about to lose that.
You lost miles.
Y'all lost championship.
Y'all lost Cleveland.
The Cavs lost.
You lost Baker.
I mean, y'all lost a mix, though.
That's all on the week.
We're in the mix.
The calves.
What you in the mix of?
I'm talking about the calves right now.
The Browns.
Oh, yeah, off-season.
I see the Browns just planning on.
We still, but you guess what?
You still ain't seen if we have our quarterback on the roster.
You still don't.
Everybody keep just.
Joe, Joe, Covenant Life.
Covenant Life, $20.
What I covered it.
You need to, you got to let it, Joe.
You got to let it marinate, simulate.
And it's okay.
It's okay.
Covenant of Life said
Just because the Rams got
Miles Garrett
doesn't mean they're automatically Super Bowl bound
Covenant you'd be saying some things
that just don't make sense
You know industry
One player doesn't guarantee a ring
It don't guarantee a ring
But it guarantees them a ring if he was on that team last year
I understand chemistry,
coaching depth still matters
Yes
true
Having a like having a ham
Having a hamstring away from canc
They are a hamstring
string away from Cancun.
Cover the life. Listen,
understand all that. That's everybody.
In a perfect world, in a perfect world,
no one gets hurt, everybody
stays healthy. This puts
them in Super Bowl. Before
they got miles, when they addressed their
secondary, in my opinion,
just offensive-wise, when you have
Devonte, you have
Puka, you have Sam,
Matthew Stafford, a quarterback.
That offense is being
explosive with their coach, Sean
Mae Vey, that's able to put them in positions.
They're averaging 30 points in game.
their defense, they lost to Seattle because they couldn't stop Sam Darnold.
That score was they still threw for 300-some yards.
The score was like 38 to 35.
So I'm looking at that team.
If you can put up that many points and then you just go get you a cornerback,
one of the best cornerbacks in the league,
Cremid Duffie, go pay him 31 mil, go get the other cornerback,
and then you go get miles.
I'm looking at it like, okay, I see what everybody else did.
I see the moves that are being made.
That team looks fire.
You know what I'm saying?
If all stays the same, everybody stays healthy, then they're good.
Obviously, there's going to be injuries.
But the coaching chemistry, you ain't got to tell a man that plays man to man like McDuffie.
He don't need chemistry with nobody but to be able to know how to strap.
And he's been in the league for a long time.
So zones are smooth.
I'm talking about man to man.
He can go cover your number one receiver.
That's when you need a corner to do.
All that scheming stuff, he can learn the little stuff.
But that man-to-man technique that he does, he's bringing that with him to the Rams.
Miles is coming in that drain.
The scheme, put Miles Garrett on the field, and your defense is better no matter what.
Rush to pass from Miles, okay, I bet.
Our team's way better than it was before.
So, like, there's certain players when they're A-listers, like just, you know, plugging players,
that's going to help your team regardless because they're just that good of a player.
Like, he's a corner.
He straps up.
He plays man-to-man.
Miles Garrett gets tax.
I understand.
For sure, for show, for show.
Covering life back again, $20.
He said, yo, I was.
about you because your co-host
prophesized all this.
Yes, I did.
You did. You said. At this
point, Debo, please
give Joe a Snickers bar.
He's really down.
I have you both framed
now beside
what? Frame now right beside.
Oh, Donny Shillard.
Yeah. Oh, the Jersey.
Yes, yeah. Okay.
You know what I was talking about.
Thank you, covered it.
Hey, hey, hey.
I got it, I got, oh, here, oh, we got another one.
Hold on.
Somebody said I can't read it.
Oh, yo.
I'm telling me, I'm telling me, I'm telling me, I'm telling me,
I'm telling me, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
What's this dude's name?
Nicholas De LaRentis 30, 368,
De Laurenti, he said, he said, he said,
Love the show, but Goddamn, after watching for a while,
I realized my man, Debo can't read.
Why isn't Joe reading?
Thank the Lord, Debo was drafted.
You don't know, she was a idiot.
You type them.
You don't even know what the hell you're talking about, Nicholas.
You're a fool-ass.
I wanted to call you something else.
Let them live.
Listen here, draft it?
I wasn't drafted.
If you even watch anything about me,
same thing I told the reporter.
I wasn't drafted.
You don't know me.
Just like he don't know me, you don't know me.
Do you?
Thanks for money.
Appreciate it on me.
Through your research.
I wasn't drafted.
The coldest.
Look here, baby.
Coming to life back again.
She said,
no, it doesn't.
No, it doesn't.
What are we talking about?
Well, if it does, then,
damn it, we're going, we're going to.
We talked about Miles goes to the Rams
that means they automatically going to the Super Bowl.
And she said, well, if it does, she said, no, it doesn't.
Well, let's damn it, we're going to.
So I ain't, look, we're in, we in different divisions.
They over there.
I'm saying we can keep them.
Hey, hey, come in.
Come in.
They got a little.
They got to do it.
They got us looking bad in the one.
over here, man, you got to explain to us what you're talking about
because now I'm sitting over here looking goofy.
But I really don't care anyway.
You know what I'm saying?
I really don't care anyway, you know what I'm saying?
Because I look how I look and they go come and see it anyway.
You feel me?
They're coming to see Debole's Joe.
That's why they hear.
They hear for the show, Joe.
They know.
You try to see they was here if I was going to be crazy sad.
Hey, hey, Joe.
What's up, brother?
A lot of people.
There was a lot of people.
of people concerned.
I'm glad that I can,
I had some time.
Before you got on, the chat was talking.
Oh, that was, Joe, I was,
listen, I told you, man,
I was, I was about,
I was about to have to do a wellness check on him.
I was, I was cool, I'm cool.
You was late?
Yeah.
You know, and then, and then you said,
I don't know if I'm better make it.
I got, you know, I'm down bad.
No, you wanted to blame it on the kids,
Oh, the kids sick.
No, nigga, you sick.
Ah, you ain't lie.
You ain't lied.
You ain't lied.
My stomach was a little turning.
But, but it is what it is.
It is what it is.
It is what it is.
I understand.
I understand the bigger picture.
I understand the bigger picture.
There you go.
You understand the bigger picture.
You're welcome.
You welcome.
You welcome.
You welcome.
I hate it.
I hate it.
I just like the head.
I just want us to be good right now.
It's like to do that.
I had to give him.
Everybody, we always hear that, though.
But we can swipe.
All right.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Look here, baby.
Game one.
Yes, sir.
I got.
Who you got?
You got the Spurs.
I got the Spurs.
I got the Spurs.
Okay.
You said you.
Game two.
I told you.
It's five games.
It's over with.
And who, and you said it was the.
Four.
It's going to be four one.
Spurs and five?
Spurs and five.
They're going for game one, two, three.
They go loofo.
They go hit back at 100.
I say Spurs in seven.
So they're going to get this game.
And then I will see about game two.
We'll see about game two.
All right.
All right.
Look here.

We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to it.
We get to ask other people to do podcasts.
We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions.
Well, sick and tired is a strong way to put it.
But, you know.
and sick.
Tired and sick.

June is Black Music Month, and on the Drink Chams podcast, we're speaking with the hottest names in the culture, like Sway Lee.

No matter the era,
Drink Chams brings you the biggest names
and the most unfiltered conversations.
