He think he got about 20, 20 yards or so, you know. All this stuff. We get that good, nice little 10-yard touchdown, baby. Yeah. Open it up. O-Lond. You're giving him all that time. All that time.

It was a lot of time. Seven-nothing, dude. Seven-nothing. Bangal's offense come out there. We go ahead, jump on their neck. Second down, we get that good sack on them. Mm-hmm. And then they're able to convert on the third and 14 of 18 yards.

Yeah, Joe Flackold, he was throwing the ball on time. Yeah, he was throwing the ball on real, real, real on time. But we, you know, we hold them up, you know, we do what we've got to do. We make them punt. One of only, what, three times that we made him punt anyway. Offense comes out. Then what happened, bro? What happened, bro?

When the office came out, bro. The Steelers Offman's? Yes. Well, we punted. The first, we pun it. The second time we came out, bro. Oh, the second time we came out, we punted. And the third time we came out, we got a field goal.

No, dude. Not his first pick then? No, no, no, no, no. A-Rod, at the beginning of the game, bro, we started good. The first two, the first, at the first quarter, It was like 10, 10, 0, you know what I'm saying? Because we went down, the first drive, obviously, we scored. Then we stopped the Bengals on their first two drives.

And then our next drive, we got a field goal. You know what I'm saying? 10-0. 10-0. When it was 10-0. Debo, that's when everything for the Steelers was looking good. Everything was fine. No, it was looking good.

The Bengals' offense came immediately out after we went up 10-0. Yes, that's when they hit the fan, Debo. We cracked this in a head for 27 yards off of it. either the linebacker or the D-Lyman was out of the position, didn't get to where they needed to get to, dude. And then on the third and 10, they get 15. Like, come on, get a touchdown call back and still run the play the next play and hit the same,

hit Chase again, give me, we 10, 7. Jamar Chase, fade ball. Jamar Chase, I got a problem. It was too much chase. We're going to get to that anyway. We're going to go play by play run down. Then we're going to give them the end of what we really think happens. Now, that's where they come back out.

Yes. And the Bengals go. Not the Bengals. The Steelers. And that's when we come out and throw that piss. The Steelers come out when we throw a pick. Like, I understand trying to get the ball to him. But, like, on that one, I don't.

That's not a good play right there, D'Bone. No. That's not a good play. pick. It was, the, the corner was on top, obviously, and the safety was leaning over that way. He was looking at the safety. Safety was running over there. It was either the corner or the safety was going to pick it. He didn't need to throw that ball. Like, that was just an unnecessary turnover that we had, for show. That was a bad, that was a bad play for Rogers on our part. Like, that when I was looking and I was, I'm like, now the momentum is starting to shift.

Yes. And they get the ball back and they crackers in a head for 37 on the first play, Brown. Yes. He, I'm at a loss, get a PI, and then he come to other receiver, Higgins. Higgins. 29-yard touchdown. And he runs the slant straight through the defense. Like, it's wide open.

And that's when Joe Flacco throwing it on time, boom, hits him. He cuts up in between four of the still as defenders. Like, it just, it looked. Flacco was thrown on time. And then that's when they started picking our defense apart, brother. zones, man's, running, everything. And then immediately, I'm thinking, yeah, we got a chance.

The offense is still moving the ball. I ain't going to lie, dude. Dude made a play on that ball. Oh, my goodness. DJ Turner the second, that play was amazing. Like being able to play through the hands, discipline, didn't interfere. Got the ball, got it down.

And got the knee down. Yeah, got down now. Don't forget he got down. He had to get down. Like, one knee is two feet. He got that knee down and had control of the ball. It was no, D.K. was trying to rough it back.

No, they was like, is the ball wobbling moving? I'm like, no, it's not. That's a pick. That's a pick right there. Yeah, yeah, that's a pick. Well, at least that time we was able to hold him to a field goal. So, yes. It's 10 to 17, you know, ain't feeling too bad, still feeling like, you know,

we could possibly do something, get it going. And we don't. We don't. The Bengals offense comes out. in the third quarter, and they convert a fourth down. I'm thinking, yo, the best we could hope for is a field goal. And we get that. You get the field goal.

We get the field. We hold them to a field goal. It's 20 to 10. Ramsey made a good stop on T. Higgins in the end zone to be able to stop a touchdown on there. So definitely defense stood up there, got a field goal. Cool. So we're looking at 20 to 10. Yes.

Offense come out there and we finally start getting something going. We get a couple runs from Warren. You know, Rogers starts making some good throws. We're a little behind the chains on that third down, though. What was it? Third, 19, 20, something like that. 13, something like that. Fire move come through for us.

Downballed a fire move. Fire move balled out. 1720, man. I'm feeling good. No, I'm thinking, yo, all right, not a, you know, not a defense going to wake up. You know what happened? This old man, Flacco, that the Brown should have never gave to the Bengals goes and does a whole drive,

just nothing, eight passes, dude. Out of the field, 67 yards, touchdown. Yes, and during that drive, the big player I liked on the third down that he converted, it was third and four. When Slay, they came down and they was basically in a zero coverage, just doubling Jamar Chase, safety came, dropped down, left them zero coverage with that. And he just, Black, I was throwing it on time, looking at the players, man to man, okay, boom, like dropped it right.

over his head on that deep third and fourths to convert there for them to be able to get down there to score. So I'm like, Flacco was looking good. Defense was not making those plays that they needed to make. Oh, no question. But again, dude, it's not. It's not over. It's not over.

We go on ahead and punch 137 on the Jalen going bust 137 on the next, on the next drive the very first play. You know, Rogers finishes it all. Touchdown. Hey, it's 20. to 27, I'm like, yo, we got, we got real shot, real chance here. Like, defense go hold, you know what I'm saying? Yep.

Flacco. And the dude, the running back brown, dude, I'm, even with a holding penalty, dude, putting up, we still had to, we still gave a field go. Yes. Like, I'm upset. I mean, it was a lot of Mr. Simons there, though. Like, when the tight end caught that pass and got like a 38-yard completion, like that's just Mr. Simons. You know what I'm saying?

Dude's running Scott Free down the field. They was able to hold him, but you just can't do that. Like, dudes running wide open. I can see if they can test it. But running Scott Free, that's Mr. Simons. No question, man. Then the offense, they come back out. They do a three-out.

And I'm like, yo, no, this ain't going on. I'm like, yo, please, defense, just hold them just one time. Just give them, give me one time, and they do it, right? They do. They did. I'm like, cool. My man swan came out, got his sack. I'm like, we got this.

And, dude, we go and get a big play. This is the only time I'm like, we don't gave them a big play. We don't got a big play. We don't score the touchdown. It's great. We're a 31 now, 31 to 30. 31. But it's too much.

much time left for Joe Flacko. Two minutes, 21 seconds, Debo. And this is when all the game, this is for all the marbles. Jamar Chase, Jamar Chase, Jamar Chase, Jamar Chase. I just got tired of hearing his name. And look, this is what I'm thinking. It's looking like we're leaning back, and a lot of those are in like zones. Get out there.

If you got to punch number two and get underneath number one because we got Joey Porter and them like bailing out. And Jamar Chase is running those. comebacks and curls, like right to the sideline. I'm not understanding it. I think what it came down to do, they started running the rock.

We started putting eight and nine in the box. Joe started doing run-pass option, dumping it off. So we try and get them out the box. And like when you got him in the box like that and he, yo, they go and manned up. Come on, stop, man. You're talking about Jamar Chase and Higgins. But the thing that was getting me, though, bro,

was we were running, if we were running man coverage, We got to still, at the end of the day, try to still protect the sideline. Like, he's running out. He's running deep benches, like 12 and outs. You know what I'm saying? Getting the ball and being able to get to the sideline. Like, we should be able to at least trap those. A couple of plays I was looking with Jamar Chase,

random ones with Jaylor Ramsey was running across in motion with him. And he would run the out route. I would want a slate, outside corner. Like, if you get outside release, look back in. He's in the slot. Jamar Chase ran out. Steal that. You know what I'm saying?

the safety over the top, we can go steal that. So it was just not good, good plays. And then the last play with the team. Well, the one that the safety tried to steal ended up being a touchdown. You're talking about food for this. For, uh, for, um, for the bangles. Oh, yeah, no, no, no. They was, they was, they was tripping that.

That safety, he needs to just be backing over the top. I'm talking about I don't know what he was doing on that one. He was wild. Now we got to use our timeouts. We can't stop them. There's the sharp field go. It was the grand. Higgins caught the fade ball, too, and got down and didn't go score.

Didn't go score. And then, after I get the ball back. IQ up there. IQ on a thousand. He's thinking about winning. He's trying to win. Yeah, dude. Yeah, it was not, dude, it was, it was not a pretty performance by us at all.

We have problems. We have. defensive problems, specifically run and pass games. We ain't face nobody, dude. We don't play the Jets who we beat, but it was a 19th rank offense, dude. They still gave up 182-yard rushes. That's like what, 4-7 of pop. The runnerback had five and some change of pop.

And Justin, he ain't had that much, but he was efficient, 16 to 22. for 2 18. We lost to Seattle, who was a 10th rank offense. We gave up, what? Four yards of rush that game? Running back. Walker, that boy had eight yards a pop.

Arnold almost had 300. Like, we had two turnovers, but we gave up to. We traded. I think both got 10 points. We broke even there, lost the game. And then New England,

26 in the rush, dude. They got a 119 yards rushing, which ain't a lot. It ain't a lot. Four yards of rush or so. Their biggest rusher was the quarterback, I think, he had maybe six of a rough. But they also had 207 yards pass. The only reason we won that game is we got five turnovers. They either stopped themselves from scoring or we stopped them from scoring and ended up getting points from it.

Plus, the quarterback was set five times. and in key situations. So that win right there, we wouldn't have got it without all of the turnovers and the pressure. Minnesota, again, 25th, 21st in the rush. 70 yards ain't bad, not bad at all. We gave up. We gave up 350 passing.

We got two turnovers that helped us. One field goal got blocked. The other one we scored a touchdown on. but again we got six sacks we got pressure on him you know what I'm saying so we made them they wasn't doing everything great but if it wasn't for the fact that we got the turnovers we'd have lost out and the Browns dude 28 they 28 on everything man 65 yards rushing but they tried to go in there and use a quarterback to pass the ball 52 times you get him sacked and pressured like that was more the Browns

That's like, yes. And then we get to the Bengals, bro. They had last in the rush, 31st total. We give up 142 yards. You rushing, six a tote. And the runnerback brown. Yeah, 11 for 108. 11 for 108.

Almost 10 yards of toot. On top of we turned the ball over twice, they got 10 points off of that. And Flacko busts for almost 3.50. We have a huge defense problem. I'm looking at the talent we have. We have the talent, right? I'm thinking we have the talent.

So what is going wrong, bro? Like, what you tell me what is going wrong here? This is what it is, Ebo. A lot of that, Bamba don't break stuff. We do that all the time. But there's too many times when people are running Scott Free. There's too many times where somebody there's busted coverages or people are just running wide open. Do you know what I'm saying?

So that's where on the secondary part. I'm speaking on the secondary first. On the secondary, there's too many miscommunications. There's too many people running Scott Free on a lot of these things. And then in their zones. If you're running the zone, you got to get to your zone. People need to be in the faces that they're supposed to be. When we're bailing out on Jamar Chase and letting him just run these corner routes,

you have to keep eyes on him. Leverage. You know what I'm saying? And then losing your one-on-ones, there were opportunities. where I love Jaylor Ramsey, but when you're playing on the dude and you're outside and you're having them dudes,

those are plays that they made and we didn't. You know what I'm saying? Those plays that they're making, that we're not making, are hurting that defense. Then at the same time, when you go to the running game,

these are explosive plays. These dudes were running every time they toted it, they were getting to the second level. That's on who's, that's on your defense line. That's on the front line, dude. That's on your front line.

That's on your front line. Getting some pushback and getting him contact. He needs to be getting contacted before. or he gets to the second level. Like secondary making tackles, that's because you're somebody else in the front

is messing up. It's a whole lot easier to look at Jalen Ramsey, to look at Darius Slay, to look at the secondary because those dudes are out there on the island playing versus ballers. So if nobody's getting to them, you're going to be able to see their mistakes

a whole lot more glaring because, you know what I'm saying, they're out there on the forefront. When their dudes running 11 carries for 108, why is getting to the second level each time? There's people getting forced in there. If you're able to be that successful in the run, Now you have to try and stop the run, which opens up your opportunities for easier, deeper passes,

because now you've got to bring more people down into the box to try and stop the run. When you can't stop the run, it opens up the pass, period. And the only reason we've been able to win is Aaron went Bukul against the Jets. Okay? They did. That's why we won that. The defense, not even the defense, the, the, the Patriots, turned everything over.

Minnesota couldn't protect and the Browns they had a rookie quarterback. Yeah. Like, we don't spend all this paper over here on defense. And don't get me wrong. Like I said, the offense, yes, they have some issues too. It's issues on the offense side. But we didn't spend all that money

over there on the offense. Yeah, we got D-K. But, yeah, we can't effectively run the ball. Like, we got to do dump game alternatives for running the ball because our offensive line isn't effective enough. We got 50-11 tight ends that we just started using last week. We scored 31 points, DeBoe, the Steelers are supposed to win. Yes.

That's all I'm saying. Yes, it's feast or famine around here. And it starts with turnovers and pressure. Rather, we get them or it's something. and flicked it and then we ended up picking them up because of the other team they do fumbled the rock how many times he knew me what three two three four i don't know he looked like a replay he got coughing the ball it was three about three times yeah i don't i don't even know like we have to get this fixed on the defensive side you can plainly see where

like you said guys are missing assignments are we are we are we not understanding what we're doing or are we not explaining this well enough if this is a coaching is this a coaching issue um like or is it just playing out you're just getting beat and you can't get to the spot that you need to be at and be able to do the job that you need to do.

It's everything, I believe, dude. I think when you see and at the same, it's a lot of those, because I was watching plays, brother, like when they had to drive the ball down on the last drive to go to go score, and Jamar Chase ran the under route

and the text message that you sent, he was fifth, like nobody was in. the screen and that's Jamar Chase running the underneath route for 18 yards when all they have to do is get down in field goal range to win the game like that's just how is he doing it and that that's accountability like it's three three it looked like a fire zone coverage and that means that had to be maybe james i mean you can see um uh what's his name linebacker six yeah six but i'm i'm i'm saying we're not in the locker room exactly but it's either you got a No, I'm saying, you can see he was confused.

He's pointing, trying to tell somebody to go here, go there, and nobody moves to it when he motions. I'm like, but yeah, long social, they need to get on the tape room, the film room, because those things don't need to be happening. People that ended up running Scott Free, like you said, Jamar Chase, there's no reason he should be running down the field wide open for an 18-yard game when y'all are trying to prevent a field goal to win the game. Yeah, and like, immediately, dude, I'm like 31 to 30. I'm like two minutes some change. I'm not liking it. Yo, and dude jumps up. Like, you go, come on, man.

This young stuff that you're doing to a 41-year-old quarterback, you go jump on this man's back and tackling him. You know you could have broke a hip. Yeah. Like, he's a quarterback. He's fragile. You can't go doing all that celebration. And so now it looks real bad because we couldn't hold nothing.

Dude, we're going to be in trouble, trouble. Like, we haven't faced a top half offense. I take it back. New England was 16. But it took five turnover, six sacks to get that accomplished, right? Yeah. Yo, we're not going to get that against Green Bay. We're not going to get that against Indianapolis.

We're not going to get that. against Los Angeles. That's not going to... I'm even worried about Chicago now because they're 14. Buffalo? Come on, man. And we...

Like you said, though, it's not a personnel problem. We do have the personnel to do it. We are opportunistic. They do get a lot of turnovers. They just got to win first downs. Like, get them behind the sticks. They weren't getting them behind the sticks.

Or if they did, then Joe Flacco was throwing it on time. Right. Even when we got behind the sticks, they're getting third and lucky. 10s, 12s, 14, stuff like that. Blacka was balling. He was throwing the ball on time, and that's when you got to win your one-on-ones

and be able to get after the quarterback. So, I mean... Yes, and we get no pressure. Like, dude, we got to face Detroit, too. All they do is run the ball effectively. Yeah, that could be trouble. That could be trouble. That could be trouble.

Oh, Debo, you stress it out, huh? Right. You're stressing out. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. But look, this is the thing. This the thing. Y'all, we still scored 31 points.

The offensive line protected Aaron Rogers. He was standing upright a lot of the game. He was able to make classes. Jalen Warren was toting. The running game did look really good. It's the Bengals. I don't care. They still won, though.

It's any given Sunday. And now the Bengals with Flacco, shit. Flacco's not a dummy. You know what I realized? If you got a better receiver than the pre- The Bengals didn't have a flat on defense. It still ain't help us win. The defense got to show up at some point in time.

Look, we can. I don't know. Where's the last time we had a defense that was ranked this low? What are we? 26, 28. That was a good, that was a, that was a, yeah, that was the defense played bad that game for sure um but that was a good that was a good football game that was a good football game by the offensive side of the ball and by joe flackos because he was going to joe i don't give a damn

about a good football game i'd rather be sitting here talking about how we won ugly than how we i don't care how good the game was joe hey man listen that that's that that's that's that that's that uh it's any given sunday dbo now you're going back to when they won all those games and saying, oh, no, they only, they didn't play, you play against who you play in the stadium. You can't be talking out of both sides of your mouth. You know what I'm saying? You got to give them credit when they win, and then when they lose, definitely bash them.

But at the end of the day, if Aaron Rogers didn't throw two picks, we still probably still won the game. You know what I'm saying? Like, the defense did make a couple of stops at the end of the game on the fourth quarter. They made one stop, bro. Instead of punting. One stop. The other two stops was early in the first quarter.

you speak in facts the defense has to play better they have to they have to they have the talent, they have the players, they got to get that there on tape, because the running defense is not looking good. And then the passing defense. I mean, even on the offensive side, like, we're having, we're having errors of what's going on. People don't know what's going on. The flea flicker. Yeah. Do. He's like, what are you doing? Like, you can do. I can do. Like, what are you doing? I can the flea flicker. You're running the wrong play. Yeah, he was hot. He was hot. I just, I'll get over it.

You know what, Dom? No. Just feeling of losing, don't feel as bad as it do when you're actually there and you lose it. So how I'm feeling, I know they're feeling way worse. So hopefully that feeling to motivate them, coaches, players, everybody alike, to get whatever fixed, we need to get fixed and get this thing. moving in the right direction.

Like, as a, what a 26, 28, we're not, we're not, we're not going to go nowhere. These offenses that we're going to face in the next, what, four or five weeks, they ain't, they ain't turning the rock over like that. They, they're doing things more effective than anybody that we've played yet to date. If we come out there Playing like we've been playing The last six, seven weeks We go get the band struck up on us

And they don't want to hear us talking about how bad this damn run defense is. And Debo over there looking pissed. So.

Dude, not just to run. The past, every, dude, we're not. I'm more, I'm more with the past defense, too. Like you said, Debo. I mean, it's the total defense. It's both. I'm not going to lie. I'm more like to run.

I'd feel far. better if somebody beat me passing because they were just quick getting out their hands and something. But when you run the ball on somebody, you have to physically move them out of your way. And create holes. Yes.

That's demoralizing that you can't stop another man from putting you where he wants you so they can go where they want to. They're imposing a will on you. Yes. Yep, yep, yep. I'm putting my foot on your that.

As a DB, just watching your boys just getting tossed out of the way, and you know that you got to make that tackle, or he's going to strike up the band on a run play. It's crazy. Yes! Getting scored on, dude, on a run play that ain't, even on a run play that, because we're on the goal line,
