Hi, I'm Danny Shapiro.
We were in the car, like a Rolling Stone came on, and he said, there's a line in there about your mother.
And I said, what?
What I would do if I didn't feel like I was being accepted is choose an identity that other people can't have.
I knew something had happened to me in the middle of the night, but I couldn't hold on to what had happened.

Welcome back to Debo and Joe.
I'm your host James Debo Harrison, and I'm here with my co-host, Joe Hayden.
and please make sure you guys like and subscribe you don't want to miss nothing.
How you doing today, Joe?
Brother, Brother Debo, I'm doing great, my guy.
Good Friday, another day.
The Lord has made for me to be here.
Yes.
Good man.
Happy New Year.
Yes, happy New Year.
Yes, yes.
Bless to see another year.
Come on.
I brought that thing in right on the bed, right on the couch.
Just looked at it, me and my baby.
Hold on.
You said the bed first, then you said the cow thought you were.
were trying to say something.
No, no, no, no.
Me and my baby girl was all chill.
I thought you were trying to time it up.
Yeah, we were timing it up.
No, it was good.
Time it up.
Joe?
Happy New Year.
Come on.
Look here, baby.
Look.
Hey, I got good news.
What you got?
Marr says he is playing in the stillest game.
Hey, look here.
Let me cook for you.
Okay, I'm going to let you cook.
I'm going to let you cook.
Listen, yes, I want Lamar to play.
No, I am not crazy.
We are three and six against Lamar Jackson in the regular season, okay?
And that's when he was more of a hundred percent truly healthy, okay?
Lamar says with his words, he's 100%.
But with my eyes, I don't see it.
You add that to the back issue that he's having right now.
Yes.
And the reason we had success against him early in the run game
last time we played against him is because he was not using his legs
and keeping the ball when they did the redox play.
Yes, yes, which allowed our outside linebackers to crash down.
Okay.
In the backside and helping the run game.
They only had like 70 yards.
at halve time, okay, we didn't even have to start respecting it until the second half where
he started keeping it.
He started pulling it because he saw it.
We was crashing down.
We couldn't crash down no more.
They ended the game with almost 220 yards rushing.
Now, if we're going to win this game, the defense will have to win it, period, okay?
Facts.
We have to stop them from running the ball.
ball. I do not care if we have to put eight, nine, ten men in the box, eleven men in the box,
and twelve men in the box. I don't care what we need to do. If we don't stop the Ravens from
rushing, we will not win this game. They are predicated on a 85 to 90 percent base of running
the ball successfully. We know that. The AFC North knows.
that, or at least they should,
if you look at it,
Lamar is, what is it,
10 and 6, no,
10 and 5 against
the Browns, okay?
And guess what, Joe, and the five
losses against the Browns, or should
I say, you're Browns. Yeah, yeah.
The Ravens only
rushed for an average of
127 yards a game.
On their losses. On their losses.
Five losses.
Okay. Now, in the 10 wins, minus the, what was the September game, we're a special team.
So, yeah, yeah. And they basically scored like 21 points almost without having to do anything.
They rushed for an average of a hundred and ninety one yards a game.
But Cleveland did have the right idea of that game.
Okay. And they said, we're going to make Lamar beat us passing the ball, okay?
Ravens only had 45 yards rushing, and Lamar did just that and beat them passing the ball.
But I'd rather take my chances on that.
He did that with short fields.
They only scored one touchdown where they had to drive the ball more than 37 yards, bro.
Everything else, Cleveland held them to a field goal.
And even with that, Lamar only had 225 yards passing.
But it was four touchdowns.
And again, that was made easy on three of them.
The short fields.
Because you start at the opponent's 35, 5, 24, you're going to have great success.
Now, let's go on to the Bengals.
He's 11 and 3 against the Bengals.
And then the three losses, Joe, guess what the rush averages per game?
A hundred and 25 yards.
a hundred and one yards
Wow
And guess what it is
And the 11 wins
A hundred nine
Almost 200 yards bro
You're starting to get you you you wanted something
The Ravens have to run
You cook it with grease
Bro, the Ravens have to run the ball
For sure
Successfully
Period
And Lamar only is averaging
A hundred and ninety
92 yards passing
A game
this year. And here's the crazy thing. Here's the crazy thing. On top of that, for his whole career,
he's only like 195, 194 for his whole career average per game of passing. So if we don't go into this
game and do everything we can make him pass to stop the run, yes, and force Lamar to pass,
we are doomed. And what do, what do, what do come?
coach t say he say um he say uh we we we plan uh they plan checkers we playing chess right
right okay so let's go out here and play chess okay because that's the chess move and sometimes
like the playoff game that we had last year it didn't look like chess it looked like we was playing
tick-tac toe out there you understand what i'm saying yes because we had like no way of stopping their
and we changed what we were doing
as far as how we went against the run.
And the more time Lamar's throws,
the more opportunities we get to sack him.
Yes.
And along with that, I'm not saying to do this,
but you could maybe push yourself up off of him
by maybe placing your hand on that little tender spot on his back
as you get on a little lean on, you know, along with the more he passed,
we got possibilities for sack fumbles, turnovers, interceptions.
Maybe a interception return for a touchdown, a fumble, sack fumble for a touchdown.
No, no, you know we good for that.
Yes, we need turnovers, okay?
Now, the offense, I need them to run the ball enough to use up the clock and affect the first down runs.
Give our defense enough time to rest as much as possible
and hopefully get in field goal range a few times
and give Boswell a chance to put points on the board.
Like, because we have to do far better than we did against them
rushing the ball last time at, what was it,
two yards or tote?
That ain't going to do it.
That ain't going to get it done because we are not going to have a passing game, bro.
We won't have D.K.
He was almost 150 yards of the passing game.
Along with Washington and possibly Austin, I hear now,
that was almost 200 yards of a 284-yard total last time.
Yep.
We cannot allow the Ravens to beat us at what it is.
They are good at, period.
And you know what, Coach LaBoe,
Coastal Bow would always say
listen
we are going to stop what they do well
and we are going to sell out
and stop that
and he would say if it beat us
if we get beat he said
that's on me. Yeah and you know what
it worked for the most part
from the time 2004
to I would say
2012
he was allowed to run his
defense as he wanted to run it. It was 100% Dick LaBelebo Fire Zone, ran the way he wanted to run it
with the players in the positions that he wanted to have in that positions that knew what
they were doing. From that 04 to 12, we were a dominant, give me the thing.
From 0, 2004 to 2012, 2004, we were a number one defense. 2005, we were number four,
won the Super Bowl.
Now, we had a slack in 2006.
We dropped to nine, okay?
That happens when you win the Super Bowl
because you lose some players
that you don't realize
were key role players in your defense.
They get to go get some money.
2007, we went to one.
2008, we were one.
One another Super Bowl.
Again, you lose some of those key players
that next year, 2009, we went to five.
2010, and we thought we were trash,
bro in 2009 2010 we were two okay we lost the Super Bowl and we came back and was number one
in 11 and number one in 12 okay and like I say this because you want to be able to have people
coaches in position they know exactly what it is need to be done and do it
and be ready to deal with whatever the outcome.
And the crazy thing is, like,
we're in a do-or-die-game with the race.
Oh, for sure.
After they started one in five,
and they said that gave them a, what,
1% chance of making the playoffs.
We had crazy.
And at the same time during, what was it, week six,
because we had a buy, we were four and one.
And to be here, where we at right now,
and last week,
against Cleveland, the worst team in our division,
we had an opportunity to be able to rest our guys
and have an extra week to get healthy.
And dude, it's crazy to me.
What's crazy?
DJ ain't even four weeks out from surgery.
And you're talking about he's playing, bro.
So look, let me go ahead, hop in this thing.
You write everything you said, Debo, you're exactly.
correct. And I'll just go from
when we're talking about what the Steelers needed to
do, we didn't have to be in this position.
We let the Browns, my
Browns, you know what I'm saying? Go out there
and beat us. So I have to go into time.
Not into time for that. No, no, no.
I'm just saying. You said it. So I'm
just saying what you said. Okay. There's just
some things that we're in this position. We're fighting for our
life. But with all that being said,
we are playing the Ravens
on this good night
game for all the Marbles.
And the good thing is, like you said, Devo,
I want us to, like, stop the run.
We have to stop the run.
Derek Henry, when we beat him the first time, he ran the ball 25 times for 95 yards.
Make Lamar have to pass it against us.
We have to have eight in the box.
We've done it before.
Everybody has to be in their gaps, in their spots.
And when we do pass the ball, we need those cover three.
We could be in some zones.
We don't have to play man-and-man every time.
These single highs can be cover threes.
They could be man-and-mands.
But we need to have eight people in the box.
everybody playing their gap, not peeking, not jumping, not getting pushed back.
You know what I'm saying?
So just consistent.
Oh, no question, bro.
We've seen them do it in games where they've made plays, where they stopped the run.
And then I need them to do this for four quarters.
If we get up, if we get up in the game, don't start acting cool.
Don't start acting like it's sweet and start letting plays happen.
No, we got to put our foot on their throats.
For one thing on defense, because on the offensive side, we're missing.
140, 148 yards and seven catches that we had when we played.
We're missing our DK.
We're missing Calvin.
We're missing Mount Washington.
So, offense, we just need to make sure on first down, when we get it to Gamewell, when we get it to Warren, these aren't just meaningless handoffs.
We need to get three, four yards.
You know what I'm saying?
So just don't give him the ball and he gets a loss of one.
Now we're sitting at second 11.
No, no, no.
That makes us look crazy.
Stay ahead of the sticks.
You know what I'm saying?
And Jono Smith, get him in, fire move.
He's there.
Get him involved.
MVS, you know what I'm saying?
And feeling, Adam feeling.
Let him be your friend.
He's a bet.
He knows when it's third and threes.
He knows how to find the holders in the zones.
So go to your guys.
Pitch and dump like A-Raw.
It's fourth from two.
Don't throw the fade to Scotty Walker down the sideline.
Throw the little man-in-man-beater to Thielin for two.
So keep the drive alive.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, some things like that, be simple.
don't try to
But again, at the same point in time
If he make that connection, we're happy
So you know
You take the good with the bad sometimes
But I'm with you
Scotty
I'm not that's not the guy I'm going to
For us to keep our defense off of the field
And I should just keep drives along
That's going to be good
But just, you know what I'm saying
That completion to extend the drive
Get us another four downs
Make the clock go away
You know what I'm saying
So when the Ravens do get out there
And we get these three in outs
They're trying to run it.
We stop them on first.
Second and ten, they're trying to do some incomplete pass.
Third, pin back.
Stay in our rush lanes, too.
When we do get Lamar, don't just get the going crazy running up
and he's able to skate out of there.
No, we're pushing evenly.
That front line, you're going straight at them.
Outside, y'all are containing.
Don't go past the quarterback.
You know what I'm saying?
Stop.
You know what I'm saying?
You know those rushing lanes.
So just the simple things, when we're watching the defense, be on point,
know what you got to do.
And it's going to be simple.
We're playing single high, everybody in their gap,
man, man, or zone.
He's going to have to throw the ball.
Making him beat us with his arm.
Yes.
And like I said, I do not believe he can do that.
I see he can't.
195 yards, the average, the average quarterback, what is it,
245 almost?
Right, you got to get an average.
When you look at guys like Josh Allen and all those boys,
they're more around 260, 270, you know, golf and,
And all that, yeah, Stafford, that's, you know, that's what you're, what you're looking at there.
And I just, I don't, if I'm, I'm okay, if they beat us, R. Jackson, going out there and passing with 300, 300 hours.
I'm okay with that because we didn't let them come out there and do what it is that we know they could do.
They had to come out and show us and do something else that was not in their character.
I could be okay with that, okay?
Because if they come down there and run it down our throats, you're like this, we know that's their game.
You know what I'm saying?
We coming in to stop this.
Don't make them just establish, don't let them establish dominance.
Like if them, like you said, I'd rather somebody throw the ball on me, then we got to figure out with the dbs.
And if they're just running it's like, we can't stop it.
Big man, we know they're running it.
Why do they keep letting them move you out the way?
You know what I'm saying?
It's just a man-on-man thing with the run game.
Yeah.
It's a five-star matchup, right?
That what he say is?
No, he says it's a five-star matchup because we're in it, right?
Because we in it.
Right, okay.
That's for sure.
Well, let's go ahead and make this a five-star matchup because we're in it.
And we're not the footnote to an historic comeback by what would be only the 15 to ever start one in five and five-it-in-five and make it into the postseason.
Let us not be the five-star historic footnote of the air comeback.
Oh, Lord.
We don't need that.
We don't.

It can be such a struggle for our quality of life, but even if it's natural, why should we suffer through it?
The types of symptoms that people talk about is forgetting everything, I never used to forget things.
They're concerned that, one, they have dementia, and the other one is, do I have ADHD?

I was going through a walk in my neighborhood.
out of the blue, I see this huge sign next to somebody's house.
The sign says, my neighbor is a Karen.
Oh, no way.
I died laughing.
I'm like, I have to know.
You are lying.
This humongous, y'all.
They had some time on their hands.
Listen to reasonably shady from the Black Effect Podcast Network.
on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcasts.
We don't.
And I mean, it's the Ravens, and I think,
and I know, and I believe we can go in that join and win.
We should win.
We can't beat them, obviously.
So I'm, I'm, I'm geek.
I'm going to be watching the game.
I'm going to be locked in.
I'm going to be watching to make sure we don't get blown off the ball.
I know that's what you're going to be watching.
On our O line and our D line, got to come to play.
Like, those are the decisions.
same bills are they're not they're not injured no they're not like the d line has to be stout
if we are not stout in the interior it's going to be hard for us to hold anything if you're you know
half of your d line is sitting back there getting pushed three four yards deep your linebackers
can't get to where they need to go as they can't feel queen can't run free no not at all not at all
And that defense, as it was originally made,
it's meant for your linebackers to run and make the plays and be there.
Dude, I don't know.
What do you think about?
So if it would win, what happens with Coach T, you think, with this game after?
Oh, Coach T.
He ain't going nowhere.
I'm sorry to have to tell you people.
Yes, I know.
I'm sorry to have to tell you people to do.
But listen, he is not going no more.
It's not, it, it don't matter if Coach T wins or loses this game.
The decision of him to be there or not be there is going to be his decision.
You be there next year.
Same page.
You are counting on distillers to fire him that is not going to happen.
Yeah, I'm going to be 100% honest with you.
Bro, if I'm him, if I'm him, I'm not walking away from that money.
I'm a head coach.
My money is guaranteed.
you are going to have to fire me
because that means it's still guaranteed.
Now, if I decide to walk away,
then that's no longer guaranteed.
I'm not leaving no money on the table.
I think with Coach T, he got, it's probably,
it's only like, I'm not only,
but it's probably 10 mil that he probably makes it around a year.
Yes.
He's going to be able to, if he leaves,
he can go sign,
he's going to sign a $90 million joint somewhere,
$80 million.
Now, again, like I said,
That would be his option.
Now, I'm not, I'm not, I go, you know, I'm not go on head and, you know, like they say, you know, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
Now, he got to get the opportunity.
If it's me, yo, I got an opportunity to look out there and see what I can get it.
Now, if I see I can go out there and get it, now, yeah, all right, I go ahead and walk away.
I know I could come back, you know, and get something bigger.
But at the end of the day, the distillers will not fire.
Mike telling me, no matter what the outcome of this game is, like, that is 100% given.
All right.
Patrick McQueen, he said, he said, what's on stake against the Ravens, his former team.
He said, when you look at the whole building, when you look at the people who work here, them getting an extra check.
I think a lot of people don't notice.
Like a lot of teams, if not all of them, their staff and all that stuff, their bonuses and stuff is based on how well your team does leading and going into the playoffs.
I know we are one of them.
And that's where he's saying, you know, teammates who aren't working a whole bunch or making a ton of money, you know, getting another check is big for them.
And it's the same thing with, you know, with the staff, just trying to win, trying to be legendary, trying to build your legacy up and do whatever it takes to get out there.
It's everything.
I don't, I mean, it is what it is.
I mean, I understand that, you know, I ain't got no, I mean, that's what you say.
I mean, distillers, that's what it is, bro.
Aaron, but Aaron, they asked Aaron about, you know, next year.
Like, you know, what they said, they asked him, you know, about if this was his last game of his career, you know.
And he basically left it open, you know.
How do you feel about Aaron Rogers possibly coming back next year?
I mean, I thought I seen Phillip Rivers now go out there and play at 44.
I wouldn't, I think we need, I wouldn't be mad at having Aaron Rogers there.
He showed that he's a, he can still do it.
He can still make the throws.
He's protected when he has D.K., when he has competent receivers out there,
he still looks like Aaron Rogers to me.
I know for the Steelers long term, if they want to do it, he's not.
going to be there for their long-term future.
So we're going year by year.
And I think next year would definitely be A-Rod's probably last year of being a legitimate,
solid quarterback.
But if it's up to A-Rod, if he wants to come back and I'm not mad at what he's looked
like, he can play starting quarterback for sure for the Steelers.
It's not A-Rod's fault.
I feel like that we're losing.
You know what I'm saying?
Or our team hasn't been that good.
So if it was for him to come back and a friendly deal, you know what I'm saying, you
got a solid veteran quarterback that's, you know what I'm saying, getting it to the players,
getting people in positions, I'm not mad at it.
But in the long term, you know we need a young guy that's ready to, you know what I'm saying,
be a franchise quarterback for the next 10 years, 15 years, like a CJ Stroud, you know what
saying, the Bengals found there Joe Burrow, Browns, we're still looking to see what we could do.
But just the quarterback that you know, you can put that name one out, that dude, Justin Herbert.
You know what I'm saying?
You just got a guy that even if you haven't been winning all the games, you know you got your
quarterback.
So with A.R.
So with A.R. I'm saying he will come back for one more year.
I wouldn't do that.
He's not saying he would.
He said he left it open.
He left it open?
I'm not mad at him leaving open.
Leave it open.
A, Rob, I'll leave it open, too.
I'm ready to dance with you if you're ready to dance with distillers.
But at the same time...
He had to talk to, you know, wife, make it to sin, you know, all that.
Oh, for sure, for sure.
And he just did that this off season.
He took his time, you know what I'm saying?
And I think that's one thing that the Steelers know, too.
He's going to do his own thing.
So at the same time, you still got to be doing all of your work.
Like, don't put all your eggs in that basket.
You know what I'm saying?
You're still doing all your due diligence trying to get a franchise quarterback to the
team because you know it, Aaron Rogers is not going to be the guy for long term, but he can hold down the fort, you know what I'm saying, this year and then maybe next year.
I understand. I understand. So for me personally, I like the idea because like you said, we do not have a quarterback.
Okay. But I don't like the idea if we have an option to get a quarterback that is younger and proven in the NFL right now.
Take it.
And I believe that, you know, with the current defense we have or should I say defensive ranking that we have out a veteran quarterback, we will be in the bottom.
And maybe that's what we need, bro.
You know, because that's just going to have us, you know, picking in the middle.
losing a chance of getting a quarterback, a franchise quarterback, at least in the draft next year.
But I also don't know if there's one available that would be worth getting or trying to get or move up to get, you know, in the upcoming draft of next year.
I can't be on the losing to try to get the number one pick.
So you can try to understand what you're saying, bro.
You know what I'm saying?
I also don't want to do this, though.
I also don't want to be back where we are now, where we're 500 or, hell, worse.
Worse would be even better because that puts us even lower in the draft with no chance of drafting anyone that would be a franchise quarterback.
And, bruh.
Yeah.
I think this is what it is, bro.
Go ahead.
We need to get ready, okay, as stiller fans, to be down for a couple years.
To be able to come back up and it's going to look hopefully something like what the Patriots did over the last few years.
They're going to be down.
They're going to get a new coach.
They're going to come back up.
and they're going to be where they are now.
What pick was Drake May?
That is something that we could do.
Do you know what pick Drake May was?
I don't know.
I got to find out what picked these.
I know this chat right.
And again, we have to be able to pick.
I said it last.
You got to draft right.
You got to be able to draft right.
I know we have a horrible time with what we have right now of drafting, right?
Only two players that have been with the Steelers since we won our last playoff game.
in 2016, I were drafted in the first two rounds
have gone on to receive long-term extended deals
when the time came up.
That is a horrible rate.
Mm-hmm.
I mean, we're looking at the receivers,
and when I'm just knocking off the top of my head,
when I was there, my good man, Deontay Johnson,
was there hooping, didn't get another deal, Ju-Ju,
and then, I mean, Claypool, it just didn't pan out,
but he went early too.
So, like, those are just high draft.
Playpool didn't pan out.
How many receivers we don't got, bro, that just didn't pan out?
Why is that, bro?
I don't know, brother.
Like, we always get receivers that don't pan out.
What's the common denominator with these receivers?
This is the part, though.
Debo, when I came, when I was first got drafted and I started looking at the Steelers, though,
it was always, that was when A.B., Mike Wallace and Emmanuel Sanders,
them dudes was Hoopers.
So that's why in 16 or 17 when I came over there
And then they had Martavius Bryant
He ended up switching out
So it went to Martavius Bryant
A, B, and then damn my mouth of my ass
No one, but then Juju was there too
And they drafted Juju
So I mean they, it hasn't been
It's not until recent from 17 kind of
On to where he's starting to kind of missing
And getting rid of those receivers
And not being able to keep them
I'm talking about the first
One and two
and the receivers like you this receiver has a problem it's a it's a it's an attitude issue it's a
behavioral issue is this is that you're picking ballers why are we getting all the receivers that
are having these issues and not being able to to keep them for fear of that or just not being able
to keep them because they didn't pan out the way we wanted to what's the common denominator
what do you think
your coaching staff
like come on
this this receiver's bad
that receiver is bad
that receiver's what
they're not bad receivers
like come on
like that don't
that don't that don't make no sense
bro and like I said
Drake May
I think it was third or fourth pick
24
oh man
third pick 24 bro
okay got to be more careful
so they went they had to be that trash
bruh and what they do
they went and got somebody they could do what they needed to do
and and he got he went out
he got coaches he got coaches
that he knew could do what they needed to do
he got coaches that that had had had had knowledge
like that's the first thing he did
he went and started getting his staff dude
like
we we what do we have over there bro
like like honestly
what do we have over there?
Like Mike been there almost 20 years.
Yeah.
Ain't got one tree in his coaching tree.
Not one limb.
Like, come on.
Look at, look at, look at Detroit.
Detroit already, he already got like two or three head coaches.
He got like two head coaches.
And, hell, Randoyle, I think he's the OC in Chicago with the other coach that left.
Yeah.
Are you making good points?
You got to put coaches in position to be able to help you
and not worry about credit or anything else being taken from you.
That's your credit because you put them in that position.
Like, Belichick tree is out of control.
Like, dude, that's the only common denominator that I'm looking at right now, dude.
No, I feel you with the trees.
Because I remember we had Belichick tree all over the place.
Oh, and where Belichette come from, Parcells?
Like, come on.
Do you, but do you think A-Rod is going to return?
Do I think he's going to return?
Yes.
I think that, oh, man, do I, hmm.
I don't know, bro.
Would you be, would you, would you, would you, would you, would you, would you, would you, would you, would you, would you, would you, would you, would you, would you, would you, would you, because if we don't.
Because we don't find nobody, yes, yes.
But again, I'm six in one half a dozen and the other.
I feel like we're going to have to have that down year, that down, you know,
that we go be in the basement for a year or two,
to where we can get that quarterback and had that coach and coach and staff
that can develop, you know, those players into what it is that they can become.
you know no i feel you dbo i feel it it's that you coaches go a long way and like you can tell
like when braybo comes in there and really just switches some stuff up over there in new england
you know what i'm saying like it might you might need that this is a great coaches the leadership
you know like just it's not might need you do need you do need you do need you do need because
what's the first thing i need joe who was your coach who was your coach uh and your db coach
in Pittsburgh, Joe.
Did you go in there as soon as you saw
and heard your DB coach
and read his name and said,
oh, I'm automatically bought in?
The first one, Cornell Lake.
Yes.
Okay.
My first one I had was Lake, and Lake was so...
And what happened after that?
He left, and I had scrapped, and I didn't.
I was not excited at all.
I promise you, and this is no disrespect.
One of the great person, had a great time with him.
Not a good defensive back coach.
I did not learn anything.
He kind of was Herman.
Thank you.
my learning of the game he was only there for a year you know what i'm saying then we switched but
like i was really coaching myself and really getting my db's right really had to tap in so for sure
it was not we were not on the same page that was a tough struggling year after lake left and we got
scrap for sure definitely difficult you know what i'm saying but i'm just keeping it about being with
you right and that's and that's what i'm talking about dude like yeah i understand bringing guys up
you know, letting guys get in there
that wouldn't normally have the opportunity.
But you've done that for so long
and nothing's come from it.
I know players, I won't name,
and they're like, yo, the coach that I have,
he ain't did nothing to develop me.
I do more in the offseason to develop myself
than they have did in the last whatever two, three years
that, you know, they were there.
No, for sure.
Like, you have done.
does nothing to advance and develop me as a player.
So why are they in there?
I don't know.
And I don't know.
Some team mean,
you can't,
have you had a bad coach before on teams
and when you've been in Cincinnati ever?
Or have you ever had a bad coach?
I had,
I had a bad coach when I,
my first,
my first year in Pittsburgh,
didn't like him.
Okay.
Didn't like him at all.
He thought he could talk to me any kind of way.
But I'm saying the bad coach, though,
I'm talking about,
Did they know the game, though?
Like, I'm talking bad coach like this.
You're like, man, this he don't really know what he's talking about.
No, I don't think he was a teacher like that.
I'm going to tell you right now, and I keep telling everybody this.
Keith Butler is the coldest linebacker coach I ever had in my life, okay?
You understand that?
Like, that is the coldest linebacker coach I had in my life.
And everybody goes, well, he wasn't nothing as a D-Corporner.
And I don't know what he was as the D-Corporner.
Again, he never got an opportunity.
opportunity to do it. He had it in name. He had it in name. He didn't get to operate in as far
as doing the job itself. And I think we have a lot of that going on over there in Pittsburgh still
today. They all had to figure it out. Joe Burrell, man. Y'all, you know, your Browns, y'all play
Joe Burrell. Yes, we do. You know, say, hey, man, I'm not going to go out of my way to not let him get
the sack record. There's going to be situations where a sack is the best of the bad
outcomes of that play. Oh yeah. He's getting sat. Oh, yeah. He's going to accept it.
Oh, yeah. He's going to give us that breath. He'll give us that breath off. He might slide
into it. Hey, he's going to give you that breath far. He's going to slide into it. He says, he said he
ain't about to go on here. I ain't going to avoid it too crazy. Yeah, go ahead. He said, he said, he's going to
Avoid it too crazy.
Yeah, go ahead.
He said, I ain't going to lose to get out to, to get totally out the way and make it look worse than what it is.
I understand what he's saying.
Mm-hmm.
Me too.
Me too.
Joe, I don't know, man.
Joe might, uh, he began sack.
He might go out there and sling that thing on y'all.
Y'all might not be able to even get to him because you know they got, they got, they got both their receivers back.
So, oh, man.
I'm going to check and see what they line talking about, man.
You'll check and see, make sure all they line and then tack.
Yeah, we got to check and make sure
Burroughs left tackle and right tackle
are intact
Listen, man, he ain't even got a hold of that long
He just go, pop, pop, pop, pop, he'll get that thing
out faster than Roger.
But you know what time it is?
We got Denzel Ward.
They got, we got Campbell,
we got my man Campbell out there.
He can't cover two.
He can't cover two.
Listen, man, you're telling me he go, he go, he go, he go,
he go, he go, he go, he go, he go, he go, he go striped,
he go, he go, he go, he go, he go striped, and.
Brother, brother, brother, brother, brother, brother.
brother gamble on higgins we got ward over there on chase not like it's going to be like he's not
he's not going to just lock him those that's that's what i'm talking about that's good on good
he's going to win his ops you know he got a man don't even talk about war don't even look at war
crazy war took the pick six back 100 yards on them chase tried throw a um your man burrow tried to throw
a out route boom let me get that 101 yards don't play with that man war don't play with that man
war he's late he ain't jumping it was late i'm trying to sit up trying to
why they keep throwing it at them.
Don't throw it on that side.
Man, y'all got so lucky against us.
It was unbelievable, bro.
Bro.
That was, you know.
Look, look, the, this,
look, this is, bro.
I'm not going to lie.
Like you said, Debo, y'all,
Herbic, had to pick six.
That's my good man.
I won.
I was like, dang.
You see how you just,
oh, man.
That's crazy, Joe.
Jebo, I'm really being serious.
That's wow.
Because if they would have, after the Steelers were the one,
I'd have came in the Jones just like, like, okay, look at that.
Browns went out there and lost and the Steelers won.
Let's go Steelers.
That's what I would have said, genuinely.
I don't know if you believe me.
Oh, I know you would have said that, but you remember you flipped the whole script.
Because you know why, bro, because you were so disrespectful.
My heart in Cleveland.
Yeah.
Man, let's go over here to another DB, man.
Trayvon Diggs was released by the Cowboys, man.
Oh.
So, I guess, how do you say that dude's name?
Schmutter, Schenheimer?
Shottonheimer?
Shottonheimer.
Shatineham.
Yeah, this is the first time Trayvon Diggs approached him about, I guess,
wanting to stay in Washington, D.C.
After they won the game, I guess he ended up staying there,
whatever that was.
Mm-hmm.
but what's your um how do i say what's your take on on this i mean i already know dude was
what injured in like 23 he ended up doing an ACL or something he came back 24 i think he started
on the pub list right yeah yeah so obviously during that process he probably thought he
came back too soon he wasn't a hundred percent wasn't able to get back to playing at the label
that he played because that ended up getting him fined, I think, in the 24 season because
he had a clause in his contract where he had to be there for 85% of the offseason program.
And he was like, no, I'm taking off.
I'm going to do what I need to do, you know, that's best for my body.
You know, Jerry did his thing through his press conference, was like, hey, you know,
that ain't it.
And then I think the next day Parsons and Diggs, I guess, had like a little joint press conference.
and you know I guess parsing back digs and it's like yo you got to do it's best for you
you know your body whatever it is line was kind of drawn in the sand so to speak and then along
with that I guess they had another player that they started you know liking better it's business
business it's business where uh where are you at in it so as far as the trying to stay at home
or trying to say when you went and played in D.C.
Sometimes if y'all are off the next day,
coaches will probably let the vet.
Like if you're a vet or something, you know what I'm saying?
Man, boom, my family's here.
I'm going to fly back there to then just get back on a plane and fly back.
Some of it just makes sense.
So if you have a relationship with the coach and he knows you're about to go spend time with your family,
just where you're from.

A hundred percent of women go through menopause.
It can be such a struggle for our quality of life, but even if it's natural, why should we suffer through it?
The types of symptoms that people talk about is forgetting everything.
I never used to forget things.
They're concerned that, one, they have dementia.
and the other one is, do I have ADHD?
There is unprecedented promise with regard to cannabis and cannabinoids.
To sleep better, to have less pain, to have better mood,
and also to have better day-to-day life.

Okay.
The sign says,
my neighbor is a Karen.
Oh, what?
No way!
I died laughing.
I'm like, I have to know.
You are lying.
You, my guess, y'all.
They had some time on their hands.

Hi, I'm Danny Shapiro, host of the hit podcast.
These are just a few of the moving and important stories I'll be holding space for on my upcoming 13th season of
Family Secrets. Whether you've been on this journey with me from season one or just joining
the Family Secrets family, we're so happy to have you with us. I'll dive deep into the incredible
power of secrets, the ones that shape our identities, test our relationships, and ultimately
reveal who we truly are. Listen to Family Secrets on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or
wherever you get your podcasts. They played the Cowboys. I can see how I'll
coach will let it happen. Some coaches will just be like this. No, what you're doing is you're
going to fly back with the team, you know what I'm saying? You fly back with the team and then when
you get there, then you can fly. Then you get on your own plane, fly back out there, just make sure
you got to do what you got to do. So some coaches are just strict like that. They like, no,
like that's not how we're rocking. Some coaches will let the players get away with other little
stuff like that. So with that, that's a coach's decision. You know what I'm saying? He can
tell you, no, everybody's getting back on the plane. But that's the same thing with some
coaches are players coaches some coaches like have favor they'll let certain dudes do certain things and you're
thinking if i'm a player is making 25 million i signed a 97 million dollar contract i'm handling my
business or coaches probably like you're not hooping like that uh you are making 97 fly back with the team
and get yourself a pj and fly back if you want to like you're going to do that on your own down so coaches
can be petty you know what i'm saying if it's a good player and you have a good relationship no smooth
good player not playing coaches feel some type of way you're flying back with the team then you're going to go
back you know what I'm saying so that those situations I could definitely see how it happened been
involved with those for sure so um I don't see nothing wrong with the coach you know what I'm saying
because it is what it is man right we're flying back this this nobody's thing you know what I'm saying
cool everybody back on the plane everybody get back I'm setting up my flight so when I get off of there
I'm not even leaving the airport I'm just getting on the right and I'm going back I'm going from
the FBO to the actual air I'm going to the actual junk you know what I'm saying so however you want to do it
you can handle your business.
Coach is going to take,
that's the coach's decision.
You know what I'm saying?
No, you're not going back with doing this.
So with that, I think that's kind of what it was.
Yeah, yeah.
I think Sean and Hyraimva said they had, you know,
previous conversations, tough conversations,
some good, some bad.
But I think this was something where, you know,
the writing was on the wall.
You know, they had already really made a decision
that they were going to let him go after the end of the year.
and he's like, yo, I got one game left.
Like, what do I care?
I mean, I don't, you know, I don't, I wouldn't have did that.
I'm like, yo, because now they could still, they could have still find him.
You know what I'm saying?
It would be super petty, but they could have still finding, but they ended up releasing him.
And I guess the Packers picked him up.
They picked him up instantly.
He out there in Green Bay with Michael Parsons, chilling.
Yeah.
My dog, Michael Park, he said,
Hey, I guarantee you, Michael was like,
yo, go ahead and get him.
Oh, he had a hundred.
He ready to go.
Instantly.
How many years he got left on his deal?
He only got, only, I think this is the last, last of the guarantee.
It's only the last of the guarantee.
So the Green Bay Pack has got to pay him the rest of his contract,
this for this game.
It's like $500,000, something like that.
And then next year, they can release him.
Hey, you can double it, though.
Oh, no, no, they can release him.
I'm saying, or they can restructure his deal.
Because right now he don't have nothing.
So they can basically, I'm like, Diggs is going into, he signed a deal there,
you know what I'm saying, got his bag, they weren't rocking.
It's kind of where, when I look at the cornerback and where Diggs is at,
he can reinvent itself now when he's going to go hopefully, hope out for the Green Bay Packers
where he can get a contract with a good team where now you can be happy, consistent,
try to see if they can give you a good.
But I'm seeing if Green Bay is going to give him a one-year deal,
give him a two-year deal, a three-year deal.
Is it a prove-a-year?
You know what I'm saying?
I believe it's an approved year.
I'm looking at like a $1.15.
You know what I'm saying?
Let's see what you can do.
Because the highest point is I'm making $30.
He was making $20 million.
So $1.15, see what you can do.
And then be able to get him an extension.
And now, like, he can reinventerate itself playing with a good team, good situation.
So I'm looking at digs like, bro, you got your bad.
But now, like, if you want to do it again and really show that you are going to have to
Yeah, you got to go out here right now.
You know what I'm saying?
Ball out.
And then boom, you're right back to the table,
showing that you still that dude because he's only,
it's only his fifth year in the league, bro.
This is right around it.
You're good.
I think it's six.
Six.
50, 20, 28, not he's not yet old.
So you know, hey, listen, you know,
you know how they'd be tripping now when you get close to that 3-0.
And I'm saying, right now, that's what he can hit him for now
and to get another like three year.
You just got to ball out, Diggs.
You've got a ball out.
Oh, yeah.
I mean, I think that would be idea.
It's just he got to get the opportunity.
Whatever he has left on his deal, like they picked him up.
So they got to let him go to restructure it, right?
No, they picked up his, they picked him up.
So they picked up his contract.
Right.
Pick up the five year of 97.
And that's going to be, it's like $500,000 a game.
So they're paying him that for this game.
And then next year, he would probably be making $20 million, but they get to renegotiate all.
Right.
That's what I'm saying.
They're going to have to renegotiate, restructure that.
Yeah, restructure it.
Because there's no way I'm going to pay you that,
especially after the last, you know, a couple of years.
Oh, no, no, for sure.
They can restructure it or they can release them.
Right, so you're going to pick him up just to release him.
No, I think you picked him up to do your thing, Diggs,
and then be working on that renegotiation, you know what I'm saying?
Because then you're going to get some guaranteed money.
You know what I'm saying?
Diggs is walking into a brand new contract, but I'm looking at it.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, I guess, yeah.
You can look at it like that, especially going in.
He probably already know the inside, like, yo, you come here, but, you know,
you ain't get that.
You ain't go get what you got coming.
No, no, no.
We're going to rip that deal up and we're going to restructure something.
So you're going to get guaranteed money.
It's your first year on your new contract.
But I don't know what it is.
You know what I'm saying?
It might be one for 15.
Just here, prove it year.
You know what I'm saying?
See what you could do.
Yeah, you'd have enough.
Yeah, Drake, maybe he responded to his critics saying they had an easy schedule.
He said, we play in the NFL.
He said, every team has great players.
It's not like we're playing.
It's not like we're playing Foxborough High School down the road.
Why are you banging on a little high school team down the road, man?
He's just letting them know they're not in the same class as him.
It's high school.
That's Little League, man.
It's the Big Boy League.
Like, every week.
Hey, how they catch a straight on?
How do you catch a straight, you know?
That's crazy.
He did.
He did.
Yeah, I understand what he's saying.
Like, it is what it is.
Can't nobody, you can't make your schedule.
your fault that the teams y'all ended up getting was ended up being you know some of the lower
winning teams you know league but you still like he said you still got to go out there and play
you still got to win and look what we did against the browns like ah hey any given sunday
that's why we watch the games bro this is rams all this last second this is why
You play the game.
Yes, Debo.
You never know.
You think, oh, no, they're going to go in there.
You play the win.
Do you think the other teams are trying to lose?
I could say maybe I don't know about owners or trying to get the draft picks,
but I know the players that are actually out on the field do not want to lose.
Do not want to get embarrassed.
They're trying to.
I'm trying to put no bad tape out there.
They're trying to succeed.
That's going to mess my money up.
A thousand percent.
So I respect the teams.
And when you go out there with the Patriots, beat who you post the beat.
You don't know what I'm saying?
saying, like, don't leave your doubt.
Don't play down to your competition to where you make it.
Next thing you know, you start looking crazy and you lose.
So then you go down there and beat, what they say?
Beat a fly with a sledgehammer.
You just got to go do it.
And don't give up.
No way.
No way.
Give up.
I can't, I don't even know.
I don't even give up.
But I'm saying, like, start playing that backup defense.
Stop playing that.
Oh, no, y'all could take 15, 2020.
That prevent defense, prevent you for winning.
about preventing you from winning that's what it do prevent defense i do it prevents you from
winning the game do not play that that is not what we doing that yo you know what time it is
play a phase oh oh oh oh oh oh oh yeah you know you
I made my picks for Sundays, Ray.
Man, I.
And you either play my lineup or you fade it,
and you go have to tell me why.
Lamar Jackson is not going more.
He is going less than 212.
Yes, he is.
Derek Henry is going to go more than 91.
It's going to be very hard to stop that man from getting.
because I mean 100 yards when they go give him the ball 30 times
they're going to have to give it to 30 because we gave because last time he had 94 yards
for 25 carries I'm thinking they're going to have to him at least 30 okay 30 for 95 30 for 94
so I I could see over 91 but I'm really pissing me all because I don't even want him to
have 90 I don't want him to have it I know we're talking paper on the line Joe oh we
can't go with my heart I can't go out of
here and just give it up
Aaron Rogers
less
oh my
less bro
yeah I mean you gotta
it's less bro
it's gonna be a lot of dump
Cleveland what was Cleveland 160 something
and look at it
the last game we played against
the Ravens
it was 284
we're gonna need that we're missing
right now
game well
and
Warren are going to have to run for a buck 70
between the two.
50 each receiving. Okay, yes.
And then at the end, we still was in a dog fight.
Hold up, man.
I totally forgot about the catch that wasn't a catch
that we would have went crazy if it was us.
The likely joint?
Yes.
All right.
The interception, fumble, whatever,
that was groomed down.
He got to get another foot.
Right.
We would lose our mind if that was us.
And then the, um, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the whole, the, the roughing, the whole, the, the roughing the whole, the, that wasn't a ruffing.
That, that was terrible.
He didn't even touch the long snapper.
Dude.
We'll take it, though.
And the other running back, he go come in for the spell and he go, he'll get, he'll get another 10 carries.
If they don't run that ball, 40 times, at least.
Mm-hmm.
They don't win on head.
And allow whoever it is that make their decision to help them lose the game.
I'm hoping they do do that because I'm willing, I'm actually willing to lose this to win.
But I'm not optimistic that it's going to happen.
Lamar is playing, which is great.
Lamar's plan, which is great.
Yes.
Okay.
We don't.
Yep.
Okay.
We need Lamar.
I like all of these, Debo.
I like all of them.
Hey, bro, I knew you would like it, man.
I like all of these, and I like all of these in a win.
This, this is a key.
This is a key.
This is going to be a key to victory.
But just like the overrushing yards,
they're going to have to run the ball a lot.
But just, just break over because it's for the bread.
Right.
They got 40 carries.
It's going to be hard to keep somebody under 120 yards, 40 characters.
They were 40 carrots.
It's going to be hard, but it is easily winnable
if you keep them within that three-yard range.
Yeah, Debo, all I'm telling you is we're going to watch this game
and we have to win first down.
Everybody watching, watch first down.
We have to watch this.
Listen, y'all heard what he said, man.
He's about to play for your boy.

Fire Move and Johnu.
Both of them.
Easily.
Easily.
It's like we get into Fire Move.
It's like we discovered Washington and forgot about Fire Move.
Every time the last game against the Browns, every drive we made,
fire move across the middle was dominating.
Don't forget about him.
He's nice.
So, she said if,
the defense don't take Henry out we're done.
We don't need to take him out.
No, he's stopping for running the ball.
That's all.
No, for sure.
But everybody's stay in your lane.

do that for them, so.
2010,
Stillers.
I ain't going to lie to you, bro.
I'm going to have to go with
12 to 6 us.
It ain't a number.
Ooh, I like that.
It ain't number field goals.
We got to, we got to stop them.
I wrote it down.
You went, you went 12, 6, I went 2010.
We got to stop them boys for running the ball, man.
We got to.
Okay, we got to, got to stop them boys for running the ball.
We do not stop them from running the ball.
It's going to be a long night.
Actually, it'll be a short night, but it's going to be a long night.
Because the clock will keep running.
They'll keep running.
both of, yep, we just need to maintain drives.
I'm telling you, I'm not mad at dink and dunks.
I'm not mad at those, but I'm not, I'm win first down.
I'm second and six, second and five, and we'll win.
The most time you see second and five, we're going to be good to go.
I hope so, brother.
I'm telling you, I'm telling you, Debo, I meant.
