Dak Prescott, 29-41, 299, three touchdowns. Geno Smith, 23-41, 334, three touchdowns, one interception. Third straight, okay. The Seahawks had three straight four downs that doomed them near midfield.

Selling otherwise an outstanding offensive performance. Michael went unblocked on fourth and two. I don't know what offensive play you call and say, you know what? We're going to turn their best defensive player. We're going to let him run unabated to our quarterback. And the funny thing about it, they did a great job blocking him the entire goddamn game, except the last play when it really mattered. And you turned him scot-free. Turned him scot-free so what what was some of your takeaways lojo

listen my takeaway obviously i'm not sure who slated this game before the season started but this was the best thursday night game by far by none one of the best games actually all goddamn season the often that this is one of the games where you always talked about when you don't get pick sixes and turnovers from your defense, will Dak be able to win and carry that offense? That is exactly what he did tonight. CeeDee Lamb on third down, super duper clutch. Yeah, he had one drop on that fourth and two. He said, my bad. But other than that, Dak showed why his name should be in the MVP conversation and why he is one of the best.

You don't like me using the word elite, but his play the past few weeks, it's just that. It's been elite, especially tonight. Tonight is when you need a Dak to show, listen, my defense is not playing that well. Geno, when that offense is marching down the field, DK Metcalf was going crazy, boy. He was going crazy. They put some seasoning on Bland tonight, Ocho.

They put seasoning on Bland. They put some seasoning on him. Listen, they put a little seasoning, but he took a bite out of you, though. He took a bite out of him, especially Tyler Lockett ran that lazy-ass out route, and Bland, once again, picked it right off. Ocho.

Yeah. Tell me what's the only route you're going to run from that split. Yeah. And you start leaning with it from the – Yeah. Oh, he would lean it. He would lean it heavy.

Hey, he would lean it like Fat Joe. Yeah, but – He was, Ocho. Yeah. The Cowboys, what I saw tonight, Ocho, the way I measure a team, if you're good offensively, if you're good defensively, can you get done what you need to get done when you have to? When Dak needed a touchdown to take the lead, what did they do?

They went and got it. Yes, sir. The defense, okay, you say you like that. Can you get a stop? Not only can we get one, we're going to stop him three times in a row on fourth down at midfield. Yeah. That's the mark of a team.

And like you said, defensively, you're not going to always have it. So, okay, offense. Our defense don't got it tonight. They're not going to get a five turnover. They're not going to sack Geno six or seven. So, when we get our opportunities, we're going to have to cash. And that's what they did tonight. That's the mark

of a good football team. A really, really good football team. Because can I go get done what I need to get done when I absolutely have to have it? And the offense, touchdown, field goal, field goal, defense, stop, stop, stop. So that was, I was very impressed with what I saw last night.

And considering we just saw the 49ers beat the brakes, beat the brakes off the Seahawks. Yeah. And so I was expecting the Cowboys to pretty much do the same thing. Right. Because you and I both know how hard it is for the division opponent. No matter how sorry the division opponent is,

no matter how good you are, it's just something about playing in a division opponent that know you, know your tendencies, know what you like to do. Right. And so it makes it a lot tougher. But give the Seahawks credit. They came in nice, did a great job. Probably should have won

the game because on one of those drives, the Cowboys, they got five penalties. They kept the drive alive with penalty after penalty. I think they had five penalties for 22 yards. But give the Cowboys credit, Ocho. They played well. They did what they needed to do. Again, Ocho, they were 4-8 in the red zone.

Now you play the 49ers, you're going to get beat. You go 4-8 in the red zone. You play the Eagles, you're going to get beat. You go 4-8 in the red zone. But they played well. I like what I saw from the Cowboys tonight. Give them credit. Now they got 10 days off to get ready.

I think they got the Eagles coming up in 10 days. Yeah, yeah. If I'm not mistaken, don't they have the Eagles? So what do you think about Dak being an MVP conversation? He should. 23, so I think he had 23 touchdowns and

six interceptions, so now he has 26 and six. Yeah, he'll be in the MVP discussion. And rightfully so. Yeah, absolutely. I think Lamar Jackson is going to be in the MVP discussion. I thinkar Jackson is going to be in the MVP discussion. I think Jalen Hurst will be in the MVP discussion. Tristan McCaffrey will be in the MVP discussion. CJ Shroud.

CJ Shroud, the way he's playing. Got to put his name in there. Yeah. I think, I don't know if he's going to have enough wins, Ocho, to really kind of garner, because the stats are going to say yes. I mean, he's second in the league in passing yards. So his stats are going to say yes. I just, he's second in the league in passing yards. So his stats are going to say yes. I just don't know if he's going to have the win total

that would warrant the real attention going to him. Now, you know, they must run and win. Who knows? They win the AFC South, which is going to probably take 10, 11 wins. Who knows? All bets could be off. I think Tyreek will end up being in that discussion. But here's the thing, Ocho, you know what happened.

The wide receiver has 2,000 yards. The quarterback's got to have at least 45 to 5,000 yards. 5,000 yards, yeah. So they're going to be chipping up each other. They're chopping each other's boats up. But yeah, Dak definitely should be in the MVP discussion considering the way he's played, especially the last month and a half, two months of the season.

Yeah. Absolutely. Playing real good football. And, you know, on the flip side, Gino played a hell of a game. DK Metcalf played a hell of a game. I want to see, even though they lost, even though they lost, and I know DK going to see this, I need you to take over games like that week in and week out. Week in and week out, I need you to do exactly what you did tonight. I don't care who you planned. You have to impose your will on everybody you play. If it's all for the coordinator, if you got to talk to Gina,

if they got to move you around a little bit more, you got to show up like that every time y'all play, man. And you make that offense go. That offense need to go through you. Ocho, you know, sometimes in games like this, it comes down to a miss. Remember that play that had Lockett? And Lockett was lazy getting out the break, and Geno hit him in the head and the ball.

Now you're going to get the ball on the 20-yard line with a first down. That was a beautiful time and two. Man, he let the ball go before he even came out the break. That was beautiful. Yes, yes. And that's why you got to snap. What the quarterback always said, you got to snap that head around.

Before anything else, the head got to come around. It got to. It got to, Ojo. But see, my head had to come around fast because I was playing with a strong-armed quarterback. Right, right, right. So if you lay with your head, he going to hit you upside the head. And the people laughing at you, like, oh, look at you. You think you're playing soccer.

The ball all upside your head. So he was a little lazy with it, and he knew it. He knew it. But that's the difference that when you're a team that win ballgames, you guys make those plays. When you lose in ballgames, you find ways to miss those plays. Let's go talk about Tyreek. Tyreek said he felt like the side chick.

He went on RG3's podcast and I don't know if he's joking or serious. He said, Pat and Kelsey, I was kind of jealous. I was hurt, bro. I was hurt. Patrick, you ain't never invited me over to your house like you did Kelsey. You always invited Kelsey. And that's why we're here where we're at now.

I've never been anybody's side chick before, never always in my whole life, high school, middle school, all the quarterbacks. I was their main chick always. I go to KC, and now I'm the side chick. That's funny. That's funny. Obviously, Tyreek being very, very facetious. You take what he's saying with a grain of salt, a little humor, a little comedy to it, but you take what he's saying with a grain of salt little humor a little

comedy to it but i understand what he's saying his security blanket it is travis kelsey and it always has been always will be but tyreek again being as special as he is he made that offense even more special than what it already was he made it more special and dynamic than already was obviously you can see it's still struggling a little bit with the ups and downs that they're having now. Not having a true number one receiver that can not only take the top off of defense, but can run those intermediate routes, can run those shallow routes, and bounce his head off the goalpost from anywhere on the field. That's somebody special.

That's why anytime I talk about Tyreek, I always put him in a category completely by his goddamn self because we've never seen anything like that before. Other than that, I mean, it's funny. I love his sense of humor, too. He's one of the few players that is playing today that keeps the game entertaining and it forces you and makes you want to tune in to see what's next. Did Carson ever invite you over to his house? No.

No, because they know I wouldn't go. They know I wasn't showing up. Listen, when we leave that stadium, I'm doing two things. I'm going to Cigar Bar, I'm going to the Jazz Club, listen to some jazz sets, or I'm on my video game. I'm not doing nothing

else. Don't invite me to your house because I'm not showing up. I mean, we used to go early in my career we had i had a teammate uh italian teammate named reggie johnson yeah and his girl would cook and she was an excellent cook and we go over there shoot pool play cards yeah that was the thing you know we playing tongue you know we playing bull race what you know about tongue man you know about you know about all that and so i went about tongue. You know about all that. And so I went to a,

but I was, I was not a big, I was not a guy big into going to other people's house. Right, right, right. That, that wasn't my thing. I kind of like,

like, I see you guys, I see you guys there at work. And so once I leave work, Right. I want to, I want to go do my own thing.

I want to be to myself. Right. You know, we go out, I mean, occasionally we went out. I wasn't a big go out type of a guy either, but I get it. I want to go do my own thing. I want to be to myself. They went to each other's house. But that wasn't my thing, Ocho, either. I wasn't big into going to teammates' house either. Yeah. You know, and the funny thing about once you get outside, now what I did do, we didn't hang out at each other's houses's houses but the receivers the receiver room we did some things together sometime we'd go to dinner you know we go to dinner and chop it up uh do some things of that nature but you know going to going to someone's house it's just nothing wrong with it it's just something that i i just i didn't do

well i think to say well when mike got there what what did, what we did do is that he would have what we call casino night. So once you were, no, you break. And the guy that was going to make the team, he'd have a casino night. So they have blackjack, they have craps table, they have all that. And so everybody, he invited everybody over to come down with his wife. They haven't, you know, they haven't all this food and everybody would show up. And that was really fun.

So, because we got an opportunity to win some really nice prizes. Yeah. Pearl necklaces and trips, vacation, things of that nature. So, yeah. Oh, yeah. Mike. Oh, yeah. Yeah.

Oh, yeah. Yeah. I mean, the thing, Mike was big. Mike was big on team bonding. So we go to training camp. We'd have a day. We'd go bowling. Yeah.

We'd have a day. So it'd be offense against the defense. So you get your 10 best offensive players, the 10 best defensive players, and we'd bowl against each other. Yeah. Okay? Then we'd have a fishing derby. You know, whoever catch the first fish,

whoever catch the most fish, whoever catch the biggest fish. Oh, yeah. Mike was big into that. He would give us like, okay, guys, had a great week of practice. We had a good couple of days of practice. I'm going to give you the night off. Don't get in any trouble. Right.

Hey, we go, you know, hey, guys go to the movies. Guys back in Greeley, this place called the Smiling Moose. Guys would go up there, blow off a couple of little steam, have a couple of drinks. But it was great. Mike was big. Mike was big in the team building. Team, get the thing.

Get the guy. Know the guy other besides that he played D-line and that his number is 95. Know something about the guy. Know something about him. He got kids. He got a mom. Yeah, know something about him. So that's one aspect of it that I really appreciated about Mike.

I like that Casino Night idea. The only part, I wish I could have been a Mike. I like that casino night idea. The only part, I wish I could have been a part of something like that, something to that magnitude, because I think if there was ever been a time where I would gamble, actually spend a little money for a change, it would have to be- Oh, no, they gave you- He give you money. So he give you fake money.

Yeah. So he would come, you would come, and he give you, say, I think like thirty five hundred dollars. Oh, real, real money. No, no, no. It was. But, you know, the money was fake. But you get an opportunity to whoever have the most money at the end of the night get to buy prizes with the fake money. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So you get an opportunity to buy the pearl necklace or the diamond necklace or the trip somewhere so that's that's how we did that so what you know we do you know your boy had to hook that thing up you know your boy good with the dice your boy good at blackjack so a couple of guys said sharp is what we gonna do we're gonna

give you our money go ahead and make that thing work for you know i'm looking to flip you know i'm gonna hit a lick now you know your your boy. Right, right, right. You know, rolling them dice. You know, nine, my point. Born in 54. Died in 63. What's my point, Ocho? I give you that. Oh, man.

Oh, we had that thing. That thing was lit. That's dope. But those, that's, you know what, Ocho? And I tell people, that's what you miss. Yeah. Look, the game, the game is the game and the money. I miss things like that.

The bus ride, the casino night, the fishing derbies, the bowling. Those are the things that you, because you're never going to be able to do that again. Nah. You're never going to be able to do that again. And you can't simulate it either. And you can't replicate it no matter how much you try. You can't. Because you know, hey, guys are competitive.

You might start off bull-jiving, but now you're going up there to bowl. The guy's in your ear. The guy's doing the worm. He's moonwalking. You know what I'm saying? He's doing all kinds of stuff to try to throw you off your game. They're yelling. Come on, bro.

You can't be yelling in the bowling. They yelling and screaming. They throwing stuff up in there. Throw the towel. They eat popcorn. Yeah. But those are the days, though. So check this out.

Tyreek got two stories today. Tyreek says he'll cover the salary of the videographer that was suspended by the NFL. Kevin Fitzgibbons, a 20-year-old University of Miami student, had been working Dolphins games since 2022, released a video of how the league disciplined him after Tyreek used his phone to celebrate a touchdown backflip. Fitzgibbons said after Tyreek celebrated with his phone,

he sent the video to the NFL, but then later was notified he would be suspended for the remainder of the season and possibly for good because he had to be disciplined. They said, guess what

they suspended for? Because he jumped up and down. Listen, the NFL, obviously it's all about control. it's it's always it's always been about control it's always been about control they pick and choose when they want to enforce certain rules depending on who it is like it's at this point it's ridiculous man this is entertainment again tyreek being one of the most entertaining players in the league in the game today getting someone that's a part of the nfl involved in the league, in the game today,

getting someone that's a part of the NFL involved in something that you want, a celebration. Not only was it a celebration, it was a very creative celebration, one that had never been done before. And you want eyes tuned into the games, and that is what he's doing. This is a game about entertainment. So when someone chooses to do just that, entertain, why do you fine them for it? And now you have someone losing their job. And from what I understand, I think Tyreek is going to cover the guy's salary for the year. But guess what they did?

Huh? Guess what they did? What? When you sent that video to them, they released it, didn't they? On all their platforms. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Of course they did? Huh? Guess what they did? What? You so upset at the guy, you disappointed, why you put it out? Yeah. It's the same thing. Go ahead, Ocho. Go ahead. You know why they put it out.

Because it's entertainment. It's going to get eyes. It's going to get the fans engaged. It's going to get everybody watching. Which makes no sense. The powers that be the people that sit up there and positions of power with the suit and ties. This is what you want for your game. This is what you want players doing. Now, maybe, you know what you tell Tyreek,

listen, or you tell the guy, you can't be doing that. You can't be, you know, having your phone and flipping boom. I understand, you know, but you don't, you don't suspend the guy for exactly what you want. So what you expect the guy to do? The guy 20 years old. The guy just, somebody just, some NFL player,

not just some, Tyreek Hill just took my phone, did a backflip, doing a selfie. And you don't think I'm about to be excited. I'm a Dolphins fan at the end of the day.

I don't care what anybody tells you. Whome Whoever works in the NFL office, they have a team. And when their team scores, they celebrate when their team does something good. They celebrate. Most definitely. Most definitely. And I think the excuse, the excuse, they definitely suspended. Right. It was a bull drive. It was a bull drive. And they would never be honest on why they did. But the NFL, the powers that be, I'm sure you guys are going to see this. You see everything that we do.

Let's do what's right. If at any moment or any chance you have, let's do it right for the young fella, man, and get him his job back. And give him a raise because you embarrassed the man.

You talk about, oh, we've got to discipline you? Why? Tell me why you got to do it. What did he do? He didn't disrupt the game. He didn't run on the field. He didn't run on the field and hand Tyreek the camera.

Tyreek came and took the camera out of his hand. Out of his hand, yeah. He's like, because I couldn't believe it. Because I'm telling my team, Tyreek just scored a touchdown and did a black backflip while taking a selfie. Yeah. I would have been jumping up and down, too. Unheard of. That's unheard of. Just the creativity, the authenticity of what he was able to do is unheard of. It shouldn't be. It's ridiculous at this point. It's to say, Ocho, I see. I know you remember when they used to have big hits and jacked up. They packaged that for years. And then all of a sudden when guys said for concussions and they wanted money, well, what?

Oh, y'all been packaging jacked up and greatest hits for 60 years. Yeah, but you know that all ends when you got to come out of pocket. It all ended. Deion Sanders wins SI Sportsman of the Year. Was Deion winning the SI Award the right choice? I guess they stopped the voting in September? Oh, that's what the people are saying.

The people are saying they stopped. No, no, no, no. Oh, I was going to say. I mean, I guess because they said, you know, he was 4-0, 3-1, and now all of know, he was four and what, four and oh, three and one. And now all of a sudden he had this losing streak. So therefore, basically, he should be disqualified from being an SI sports person. Absolutely not. He deserves exactly what he deserves.

He deserves to be on the on the cover, on the SI cover. What he was able to do in that at that program in such a short amount of time. They went one eleven last year of they went one 11 last year, they went one 11 last year. I understand he went three and over or three and one or four and one or whatever it might've been. He lost the last eight,

but still to be able to go into a program like that, bring your own luggage with you and change it for the better. And it will only continue to get better because you know, with the portal and then when, when the season ends, you know, you have transfers and all that other stuff that goes on. And he told you before the season started, what do I need to compete?

What do I need to compete? O-line and D-line. I need my meat and potatoes. That is the only way I'm going to be able to compete. So we understand the landscape of what he has and the roster that he has. He doesn't have a roster to compete with the UCLA's or the USC's or the UCLA's or the USC's or the Oregon's or the Utah, you know, teams of that magnitude. But once he gets them in, you're going to continue to see that record

improve year in and year out. I'm not sure why people are upset that he won that award. Who else are you going to give it to? Think about it. Tell me who else you're going to give it to except another team that wins every single year. college what college coach no no i don't necessarily i don't think si it has to be a college coach maybe people thinking nicola yokich could have won it or uh uh uh like i said i don't i don't i don't know the candidates who was up for the award the

right person won the award the right the right person won the award. The right person won the award, especially was able to do it in such a short amount of time at a horrible, previously horrible program. I wanted to bring the dogs with me to Atlanta. My grandma said, no, you can't take these dogs. I said, granted, but they're my dogs. I'll pay for them. She said, so? But guess what? It's a respect factor that I had for my grandmother that I'm not coming in the house after midnight. Never, ever have I ever set one foot in my grandmother's house after midnight from the time I was able enough to go out from 13 or 14 till I'm 25, 35, 40. Never. And that wasn't going to happen then. I've never had a woman in my granny's house.

Just because you're good in high school doesn't mean you're going to be good in college. Nah. Just because you're good in college doesn't mean you're going to be good in the NFL. Everything is not transferable everybody thinks that all of a sudden well he was a good running back in college well he was a good a wide receiver a quarterback no yeah it don't work like that there were some guys that were okay and then you're like how do everybody is not going to have a stellar career like Peyton Manning.

Come out top-notch with the number one recruited player when he came into college. He was the number one overall draft pick, and now he leads with five MVPs, a Super Bowl MVP, and two Super Bowl titles. And he had all the records, passing yards, passing touchdowns when he left the game. Everybody's not going to have it like that. And so we just, we just, we get so, man, ooh, you see a mojo?

That boy going to be bad in the NFL. Why you say that? Because he bad in college? Nah. It's different. It's different. I don't think people understand the significance and the jump in talent. Yes. the the significance and the jump in talent yes once you get to the nfl you are literally

the best of the best in the world and considered the one percent yeah one percent at your job out of billions of people in the world like think about that and you know i never i never thought about it that way you're the best of the best. So when we talk about some of these players that are the best at what they do, the Tyreek Hills, your C.D. Lambs, your Dak Prescott, your Patrick Mahomes, dog, out of billions in the world, you are the one. The best. The best.

And it's just such a huge jump. And the transition doesn't always translate when you leave college to the NFL. Because the level of talent is damn near equal. Yes. It's damn near equal. The only thing that separates you probably when you get an edge is mentally and being technically sound. Yeah. That's it.

You got to believe. Yeah. I believe that when I stepped on the field, I was the baddest mofo out there. That's it. You got to believe. Yeah. I believe that everything that I endured up until that point had prepared me for that moment. So there was nothing I was going to encounter on the field that I hadn't already faced a more difficult time coming up.
