We have the best tasting smooth as cognac on the market. Please drink responsibly and stay safe. We got a very special guest joining us tonight. Ocho, you'll be happy about this seventh rounder, Landon Robinson, who made the 53-man roster, who led the preseason and sacked.
Starting point is 00:05:59 He joins us at the bottom of the hour. But first, everybody's worst nightmare became a reality today, and that is Aaron Donald. He is indeed coming back. He agreed to a one-year, $20 million, deal with playoff incentives that could raise the total to $30 million. Prior to the announcement, Rams fam beg Aaron's wife, Erica, permission posting seven months, Erica, and you'll never hear from us again.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Ask Ms. Donald, can Aaron come out and play? Well, Erica responded, I let him out the house, y'all, and there it is. And with that simple tweet, here's a stat for you. Since double teams started being tracked in 2017, only three players have recorded 20 sacks of the season. Two of them are now on the Rams. Aaron Donald and Miles Garrett and T.J. Watt. Miles Garrett had 23 sacks.
Starting point is 00:06:45 T.J. Watt had 22 and a half sacks and Aaron Dahlia had 20 and a five. But look at the sack. Look at the double team rate. He got 20 and a half sacks being double team. 64% of the time. That's crazy. Basically two thirds of the time he's getting double team. Listen, to be able to come back out of retirement, for one, to leave, arguably maybe depending on who you ask,
Starting point is 00:07:09 the best div as a player to ever play this game. I know we have, you know, we have Lawrence Taylor, we have some others, but the fact that you can be double-teens 64% of the time and still do what you're doing with that amount of sacks. Unk, he played defensive tackle. We talk about defensive tackle, Joe. We're not talking about an N who sometimes, you know, if they have to scheme you, they can double team you
Starting point is 00:07:28 and scheme you if you play D-N. Sometimes they leave them one-on-one. But to be at the nine, that's not the nine, to be at the three, and still be able to dominate like that, always taking on two people, majority of the time, it's insane. It's insane.
Starting point is 00:07:44 They're not going to let him play one-on-one with a guard. They're always going to slide the center towards him. If you listen at Jason Kelston, how he talked, and he was talking about, AD was talking about, hey, man, let me have someone to say, no, that's not going to happen. You'll wreck our entire offense. There are guys in this league,
Starting point is 00:08:02 and they've always been that way that you have to find a way to account for. You go in on Wednesday. Aaron Donald number is circle. Miles Garrett number is circle. Because if you don't block those guys, they wreck your offense and they're making you have a long, long day. Now you've got to deal with both of them.
Starting point is 00:08:19 Go ahead, don't you? Hey, Joe. And I, listen, I saw Aaron Donald coming. I use the Kanye meme where Kanye smiles and then he has a frown immediately because in a sense, I like it for the game of football. Aaron Donald coming back and giving themselves a chance. Obviously, he's only coming back for one reason,
Starting point is 00:08:35 an opportunity to lift a Lombardi trophy again. Now I'm thinking offensively for the teams that have to play, the Los Angeles Rams, how do you defend? How do you, I mean, how do you counter that? Because you can't double both. Nope. Because you're hamper your offense, you're a handicap of your offense. What do you do?
Starting point is 00:08:52 Listen. You double miles. I mean, I mean, I'm curious on to hear your expertise because I've been thinking about it off day, how are a team going to deal with that? You're going to pick your poison. You're going to pick your poison. I think the wild part for me,
Starting point is 00:09:05 Arcan Ocho is that he's coming back joining Miles Garrett, you know, the reigning defensive player of the year, who just set the NFL single season sack record. I think that's the, I think that that's the most intriguing part for me because it's like if Miles Garrett won't, do y'all think he would have came back? Understanding, understanding now, look, it ain't going to be a whole hell of a lot of pressure on me.
Starting point is 00:09:27 I got Miles Garrett on the end. I'm going to hold everything down in the inside. And if they're doubling me on inside hell, who's going to be guarding Garrett on the outside? One man ain't going to stop. I think we know and understand that. So I think Aaron Donald's seeing the opportunity, bro. He's seeing the opportunity.
Starting point is 00:09:42 He's like, look, this thing ain't going to be back in L.A. for the Super Bowl. Man, let's see what we got. I mean, it's Super Bowl a little bus. Okay, Ocho. Yeah, absolutely. Is that every year for the Rams because they go for it? John Snyder has always said,
Starting point is 00:09:57 is that the, is that the, if, if, I forget, let's meet. less need, less need. He's always had, he's always had them on to Efton picks. And think about what he's done, Ocho. Look at him free agency, what they did. They went revamped their secondary because they felt that was the weak part of their defense.
Starting point is 00:10:22 Then they make the trade for Miles Garrett. Then on top of that, Eddie, like, hold on, wait a minute. He probably started hulling up. He probably started huddled up with his wife, Erica. Hey, what do you think about what you think about would go back for just one year? I know, I mean, you kind of like having me around. I kind of like being around. But for one year, the Super Bowl is in LA.
Starting point is 00:10:42 Miles Garrett, Trent McDuffie, Jalen Watson, and myself, Miles, they got Fis, they got Byron Young, they got the other, I forget the other D-Tackle. He's a hell-raiser also. They go, they can go six-deat. They got a NASCAR package now. When you got the preeminent three technique
Starting point is 00:11:01 and all the football, he might be the greatest three-tech, I don't think he is. I think, I don't think it. You know, when you think about Warren, You think about Johnny Randall, you think about Mean Joe Green, some of the Allen pages, some of the other great three techniques. It's hard to say any of them are better than Aaron Donald. So set that aside, he's a top two, top three, and I'm not saying he's two or three. And now you got Merrill Miles Garrett, the preeminent defensive player in all of football.
Starting point is 00:11:26 You can make a case. He's better at his position than anybody else is at their position. Yes. That being said, with the cornerback and with the offensive firepower, they got, they got Pooka Nakua. I don't know if Pooka is going to be able to start the season. We're going to see how that plays out because we know some things. We don't have to revisit it, but we know some of the things that happen in the offseason early. Matthew Staffer, Puka, Devonte Adams, Karen Williams, they're loaded.
Starting point is 00:11:55 But to answer y'all question, how do you do it? You run them out of it. They want to pin their ears back, Ocho, and come attack your quarterback. If you cannot run the ball on them, you cannot beat the Rams. You have got to make them. You have got to make them catch. You have got to make them stay out of those sprinter stands. But hold on, Unk.
Starting point is 00:12:16 I like that you said that. Now, we talk about Miles Garrett being one of the better past races in the NFL. This is not just on throwing downs. This is also on run downs. Huh? Him being able to set, him being able to hold an edge. He's really good at that as well. Despite having the sacks, Aaron Donald, how are you running the ball?
Starting point is 00:12:33 Which way are you going? A gap, B gap. I mean, what are you doing? This is what I know. guys that get 20 plus sacks, they're not as good at the run as they are passing because you get them in matter. Because think about it,
Starting point is 00:12:45 what was so amazing about Miles Garrett last year is that they were playing from behind and he was still able to get those sacks because they were able to shut the run off. You've got to find a way somehow, Ocho. And even if you don't have success early, you've got to find a way to stay committed to it because if you fall behind this team 10, 14 points,
Starting point is 00:13:03 and you can't run the football and you look at Kobe, Turner, Aaron Daughter, Brandon Fis, Byron Young. You got Nate Landmine, a landmine played unbelievable. And you got Miles Garrett. And you got Jalen Watson. You got Trent McDuffie, Quentin Lake, Cam Curl. They are loaded.
Starting point is 00:13:20 And if you go look at that second year, Pooner Ford, Tyler Davis. They got a team. If they can stay held, you got a squad. That's all you, your health is going to be the biggest key for them. Because we know looking at their roster, they're talented. We look at their coaching staff. We know they have a. black coaching staff, training staff,
Starting point is 00:13:40 can they stay healthy for 22 weeks? That is the question. If they stay healthy for 22 weeks, but we find out early, Ocho, because one team, Seattle plays on Thursday, and guess what, that Friday, they take on San Francisco,
Starting point is 00:13:58 a division rival. You know how division rivals are. They know them, we know the youth. Because guess what? Sean McVeyer was old, with Kyle she had a hand. So they know each other in and out. Very well.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Hey, I can tell you, even though they know each other in and out, that the offenses are so high-powered, I'm looking for a 20, 20, 20, 30-something game. I'm talking about from both teams. I'm talking about from both teams, obviously, they're going to be able to score as great, as good as the defenses are. They're still going to be able to put up points
Starting point is 00:14:27 because it's such a, it's such a pass, happy league. I think it's going to come down to when they do play, who has the ball last? Who has the ball last? Ain't nobody blowing nobody out. I think the thing when we look at it, you look at teams that have high-powered offenses or more importantly, defenses that get out of the quarterback,
Starting point is 00:14:47 you must run the football. That was always our philosophy. Keep staying out of long, down and distance, stay in third and manageable, second and manageable. You don't want to fall behind the sticks. You don't want them to get a beat on what you're doing. If you can get a beat,
Starting point is 00:15:02 if they can get a beat on what you're doing, you're in for a long night. They're going to, teams are going to try to establish the run. You see early on, watch Kyle Shedhan, how committed he is to running the football because he know he cannot fall behind those sticks. He cannot be in long, down and distance. And if he can do that, they have a great chance to spring this upset. Yeah, and not only running and two when it comes to passing. I'm going, I'm going quick game.
Starting point is 00:15:26 Oh, yeah, for sure. All day long. Hey, I'm going quick game. And if I do have to run that, I'm doing misdirection. I'm not running directly right down the teeth of the defense. Get him going one way and bring them back the other. Anything to stop their feet. And who runs more play action than the 49ers?
Starting point is 00:15:45 You know they play action-centric. Heavy handoff, fake 19 handoff, fake 18 handoff. That's the staple of their offense. And Christian McAfry is somebody that can do some of everything. Don't be surprised if they try to find a match up with him, put him out in the slot, let him get matched up. with a safety or the middle linebacker, the wheel linebacker. They're going to fight.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Kyle Shaddenhead is going to find a mismatch. I ain't fooling around. No, I'm not fooling around too much trying to, try to deal with that defensive line, especially that front seven. But if I can find a mismatch, and this is why you have a, you know, you spend a second round draft pick to go get a Christian McCaffrey
Starting point is 00:16:28 because he's so versatile and he can do so, so many things. Joe, you back? You got everything situated now? Yeah, we gooch over here, my bad chat. Okay, okay. Yeah. Yeah, but Ocho and I was saying, I think the thing is that when we played a defense
Starting point is 00:16:43 that could get after the quarterback, we made a conscious effort to run the football. We had to stay in manageable down in distance. We had to be third and short. We had to be second and short. You start falling behind the sticks. You're third and long. You're second and long.
Starting point is 00:16:57 Now they get a beat. They know you got to pass the football. Now, they got great back in. Because that was one of the first things that they addressed in fridge, Ocho. They went and got Trip Midduffie. They traded for Trip McDuffey.
Starting point is 00:17:06 And they made him the highest pay corner at the time of the signing. And then they go get Jalen Watson, who paired with him, who played really well, had a little down year last year, but we know he's very agile, a lengthy,
Starting point is 00:17:18 a corner, and they says, okay, oh, hey, Cleveland, man, y'all ain't going to ever go nowhere,
Starting point is 00:17:24 man, get up off miles, man, what y'all try to do? Yeah. Hey, I mean, what you,
Starting point is 00:17:29 I mean, we'd be willing to make us an offer we can't refuse. Yeah. Well, at first they wanted to offer Byron Young. That would have been illegal.
Starting point is 00:17:37 Ain't no way. you're going to have my you're going to have my you're going to have my garrett jerry verse and arindonnell oh they said give us jared for give us jerry birds and two first rounders oh man see i got to play i got to play i got to make sure i don't make i make sure i don't want to do this i'm like right right right right oh no let me think about this give me give me give us an hour so to think about it oh my god we a we'll call you back oh joe they're they're doing everybody everybody's rude we five to get, five.
Starting point is 00:18:15 They said, hey, yo, you know, you can't, you can't, hey, hey, you see the board, hey, you see the flop come. I got a royal flush. Hello, man. So now I got the ponder, Joe, I got the ponder. Yeah. Yeah. Let me check this thing.
Starting point is 00:18:34 Yeah. Everybody's jumping out there because they might have, hey, they might have a flush. They might have, you know, they may have a full, a boat. Yeah. Mm-mm. Yeah. And lo and behold, they pull it off. But Ocho and I was talking about this for the longest time, Joe.
Starting point is 00:18:47 And I told Ocho, I said, Ocho, I ain't going to lie to you. I think Miles Garrett is the best defensive player in football. But I would trade it. And Ocho looked at me like, are you serious? I said, Ocho, you finish in the last place where the guy that's getting your 20 sacks. You can finish in that position without it. You, Miles Garrett, you're not in Miles Garrett away. If you were a Miles Garrett away from the Super Bowl,
Starting point is 00:19:09 the Rams believe they're miles geared away from the Super Bowl. Cleveland are miles away, not M-I-L-E-S, miles away, not M-Y-L-E-S, miles apart. That is the difference. Go ahead, Joe. I don't think, listen, the fact that we're talking about Aaron Donald coming back, he don't have to be the old Aaron Donald. Okay, O-T-O. No.
Starting point is 00:19:33 You know, at 35, playing 80 snaps, I think, give me the most dangerous 40 to 50 snaps a night of Aaron Donald. I'm saying compared to like a to an NBA superstar guy like LeBron James. Braun ain't going to play no damn 40 minutes a night. But boy, he's going to give you a hell of an effective 30, 32 minutes a night, maybe 35 minutes
Starting point is 00:19:55 to where they're very effective and they somewhat putting an imprint on the game. He's just going to be, it's going to be unfair, bro. With him and Miles Garrett on that defensive line, man, boy, if you're a quarterback or an offense alignment, you'll have better get some sleeping night before, boy. You got some work cut out for you.
Starting point is 00:20:10 What? And the fact that they had depth at the position too, and they can rotate, keep them from, man. Hey, and then, okay, Ocho, think about this, two years off. He had two years off. So that could probably possibly help him
Starting point is 00:20:26 considering the fact that he don't have an extra two years of wear and tear on the body, bro. Even though he's 35, everybody talking about his age, hell, he's probably going to be at that moving like he 31, 32. Yeah. Absolutely. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:39 I think you'll be just fine. It'll be just fine. It's going to take him a while. Because the thing is that he's been away, the instinct is going to take, he's going to have to play, Ocho and Joe, to get those instincts back, to get those spotty senses tingling.
Starting point is 00:20:52 Because, you know, hey, it takes you a while, even when you come back in the off season, because you haven't been out there running against guys in Helvitz and guys trying to peel your cap. So now all of a sudden, you have to put yourself in that environment to understand what it takes.
Starting point is 00:21:06 So he might get cracked the first time, but you won't crack him, again. Hello. Yeah, he, oh, that well block, that well block might get him the first time. Yeah. But he knows. He's going to be able to see when that guy's sitting heavy, when that guy's sitting light, when that guy's, oh, yeah, we got a fly. Hey, we got a fly. Hey, you know, he's going to be going to pick the fish. Oh, yeah. He's going to pick, he's going, he's going to pick the fish. That's what you do. That's what you do. You find a way. The thing is, they used to move him up and down the line. Yeah, play him at a wide nine.
Starting point is 00:21:39 They'll play them at a seven. They'll put him at a five. They'll put him out of a shade, which is a three. They put him over the number. They'll play them anywhere. Now, you got Miles Garrett, who also can move up and down the line. Just imagine if you put both of them guys over the guard, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:21:55 Hey, you got to think about the multitude of ways that they used Miles Garrett in Cleveland. They had him roaming around. They had him like he was playing linebacker. He's sitting, hold on. He's sitting in the A gap. Remember what he was doing the... Yeah, he did the dribble.
Starting point is 00:22:08 Yeah, he ended out with it. He's doing all kind of stuff, man. So, I mean, having players like that allows you to do so much defensive. And it reminds me of the Steelers and the Ravens of the early 2000s. Where you guys ran, they ran all these different exotic coverages and they could do stuff that other team couldn't do because of the personnel that they had. It allows you to do more when you have players like that. You can take chances on the back end because of them.
Starting point is 00:22:35 You know, so, I mean, it's dope. And it would be the perfect. NFL storybook ending for your Adonnell. To come back one year and hope you get another another championship writing your own back here. I don't think there's nothing more movie script than this here, considering the fact that the Super Bowl is back in L.A. In L.A.
Starting point is 00:22:53 in the way he won the first one. What? Come on, man. That's crazy. Hey, hey, the only thing is I think it's going to get derailed by them cowboys. I'm just saying,
Starting point is 00:23:02 oh, not when y'all just said that right tackle, y'all signed from Pittsburgh. I show hope he's getting to play. He back up. He back up. He put your being. He's back up.
Starting point is 00:23:12 You do realize. It's not like Terrence Steele is Eric with you. You absolutely right. I understand the inconsistency on that part on the offensive tackle. Listen, but hell, we got to make some room for improvement. But boy, listen, who we? I don't want to see this. I ain't going to lie to you.
Starting point is 00:23:30 I ain't want to see Aaron Don. I mean, hell, dealing with Miles Gary going to be more than enough. You hear me? Oh, yeah. Miles Garrett, guess what, now, Ojo. But the most part, all his home games, he's never going to have to worry about in Clement Weather. He ain't got to worry about no snow.
Starting point is 00:23:45 He ain't got to worry about no rain. He ain't got to worry about no rain. He ain't got to worry about no. Because guess what? I don't know if they're the home team this year. So they might have nine games at home in that dome. And plus another one, excuse eight games, a nine game plus one in Arizona.

Starting point is 00:25:33 On the new podcast, Solita, we share the messy reality of traveling. alone as a woman. I can wait four hours for the next bus or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle. I chose option B. I'm Julie Pinero and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first. I'm on a mission to reclaim the word solita, trading the pity for possibility. Every time I tried to be alone, I kept meeting people and they were like, you smiled at us. Not a lot of people smile around here. It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is and not the lies you're sold about it. It can be a time where you push your limits, change your mind, or wake up to a new version of yourself.
Starting point is 00:26:21 So whether you're a solo travel veteran or you're too nervous to book your first trip, I hope you listen to Solita on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. If your bookshelf and your for-you page are equally important to your personality, welcome home. This is Prose Society, the weekly podcast that's part book club, part group chat for thought daughters, pop culture obsesives, and anyone who thinks pride and prejudice and love island deserve the same level of discourse. I'm Eli Rallo, and every week we're connecting the dots between books, the internet, and the conversations everyone can't stop having. I'm going to have to look up this story. I'm obsessed. I'm obsessed.
Starting point is 00:27:03 From bestselling authors and your favorite book talk creators to the latest pop culture moments, nothing is off the table. It's like if you can hide some real messages
Starting point is 00:27:12 inside compelling characters, then that is a Trojan horse. Whether you're looking for literary deep dives, smart pop culture conversations, or a community of readers who love to think a little too much, you're in the right place.
Starting point is 00:27:26 Listen to pro society on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. See you between the pages. Hey, this is Hayes Davenport. And Sean Clements. We host the podcast, Hollywood Handbook on the Big Money Players Network. Our show is extremely
Starting point is 00:27:41 accessible to first-time listeners. Each week, we talk to someone in show business, aka The Biz, and try to help them with their careers and see what they have to offer us. Everyone has a good time, and no one gets mad at their publicists for letting them do our show. We've had a lot of great guests like Sarah Sherman. Not that
Starting point is 00:27:57 great. Actually, can you help me shape this? How about we flip it on his head? How about we flip the script? What is the surprise woman? Actually, you think is the straight man is actually the one who's acting weird. Adam Scott, this entire time you've been expecting Adam Sandler to come to visit the show. I would never expect.
Starting point is 00:28:23 I would never set expectations for something like that to happen. If the universe allows for something like that to happen. I'm open to it. I'm always going to accept. You know, Danny McBride, fine. Yeah, it's all this fragile masculinity exuding. I could smell it walking down the hallway, to be honest with you. I was like, is that weed?
Starting point is 00:28:45 Nope, it's fragile masculinity. Ben Stiller, no. Because a lot of times, out of context, people don't get it or even know what a circle is. You know what I mean? They're like, oh, what's just a state. Everyone's so dumb. And fake. Right, fake.
Starting point is 00:29:01 and also not interested or just like, oh, I've got my life. I don't care about your life. And a lot of other big shots that wouldn't be where they are without us. Oh, and by the way, Will Ferrell told us personally he loves the show and he wants to be a guest on every episode, but he's just so busy. Listen to Hollywood Handbook on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. One team. Good we've got.
Starting point is 00:29:24 Good weather. Hold on. Australia is going to be nice to start the season. So now that's a level. about 17 games in an ideal situation. And that's the one thing you don't want to pass. You want to pass rushing a, it's raining, he's slipping all over the place, it's cold,
Starting point is 00:29:41 he can't get his footing. You know the guy like that, he's able to, he's like able to play on solid footing. It's gonna be a, it's gonna be a. If they can stay healthy, that's it, oh Joe, Joe, if they can stay healthy, that you got your damn hands full. Ooh, you got more than that, boy.
Starting point is 00:29:58 And who the, who the Rams opened up with again on who they open up with the 49th in Australia. Damn. Oh, that's gonna be a good one. On Friday, because we know we got the, we got the Patriots in Seattle on Thursday, and then Friday. Thursday.
Starting point is 00:30:16 And then basically you got college football season starts Saturday to coming. So everybody's gonna be playing by the end. Wee. It's about to get, it's about to get real, real interesting. Yes, sir. The thing is, it's like, you had to have a good sense that Miles Garrett was coming back.
Starting point is 00:30:34 Because when you hear a guy start talking about retirement, you might as well go ahead and retire. If you start talking about coming back, you might as well come on back. He mentioned that he had been getting geared up for this for the last 13, 14 weeks. Obviously, he didn't want to do no training camp. He don't want to put any more wear and tear on his body that he has to. And so he was doing things necessary in order to prepare his body to withstand the rigors of what it's going to take for him to go through the NFL season.
Starting point is 00:30:58 I agree with you, Joe. He ain't going to play nowhere near the 60, 60, 65 snaps that normally required of him. He'd probably be somewhere down in the mid to high 30s. Yeah. That's what I do with him. I'm not, hey, don't want you fresh. Come fourth quarter. I want Miles Garrett like, hey, I can take the whole fourth.
Starting point is 00:31:21 I can take the whole fourth. I can take the whole fourth quarter because that's what you do, Joe. You know what you're saying you give that guy that long rest. So the last four or five minutes of the game, I mean the last four or five minutes of the third quarter, you let him rest. Yeah. Bro, you got to bring us home now.
Starting point is 00:31:36 Hey, but. You got to bring his home. But on another note, Ocho, even if he isn't producing like double-digit sacks, offensive coordinators still have to account for him. You know what I mean? Like, it don't matter.
Starting point is 00:31:50 Let's say he don't come out and be sack crazy. Yeah, I bet they still be doubling him. But sure. Hell, yeah. He's going to be able to affect the impact games without getting the sacks. Now, if he does get the sacks, that's, that's a cherry on top. But it's the fact that you still got to count for him anytime he's on the field. Now you got two people that are just as good.
Starting point is 00:32:11 You got to count for both. Hey, boy, it's going to be a hell of a season, boy. But I think the thing is when you, when you look at them and you look at what they have defensively, when you got Miles Garrett and you got a Kobe Turner and you got a Brandon Fiske and you got a Byron Young, Well, you got some dogs. You got some guys that, hey, as Wade Phillips used to,
Starting point is 00:32:32 as Wade told me when we are there in the Super Bowl, he said, I'm going to turn him a loose. He said, I got Vaughn, I got DeWere, I got Malik Jackson, I got Wolf, I got that secondary. I just tell him, go hunt the quarterback. Yep. That's what you do, go hunt the quarterback, son.
Starting point is 00:32:48 As a matter of fact, find the running back on your way to the quarterback. Hey, I want you to hunt. Hey, hit, hey, hit, Hey, hit him too. Hit him too. I want you. I want the quarterback.
Starting point is 00:33:00 Al Davis' famous word said the quarterback must go down and he must go down hard. And it needs to happen within the first two series of the game. Yeah. Now, you can't put the quarterback down like they used to put the quarterback down. Because remember now on show, you get three of those flags that they told you about. You get suspended the game. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:20 Come on. So come on sit at home and watch the game from home. And, hey, and consider the kind of money that Miles Garrett making, I was like, no, I'm good. I'm just going to go ahead and sling you down. Hey, you'll be okay. You really want to make it mad. Just wrap him up and hold him, just holding him.
Starting point is 00:33:37 Just holding him. And like Jalen Carter had the, who do you have? He picked up somebody and just held him and held up one hand in there like this here. Hey. It's amazing where the game is now. It's amazing as opposed to where it used to be. They took the physicality out of it, Ocho. And there's no way to intimidate your opponent,
Starting point is 00:33:58 especially if you play defense. There's no way. No, no, no, you can't. You can't, you can't. But see, the essence of what football really was, was about intimidation. Mm-hmm. Because how else can I move a man against his will?
Starting point is 00:34:14 I got to put this man in fear of his life. Yeah. You might catch it on you. Okay. Yeah. You came across this middle of the first quarter. Can't cross again. in the second.
Starting point is 00:34:27 We got something for that ass in the third and the fourth, though. Because back then, see, now you can't, if the ball, if the ball gets batted or the ball, if the ball is short, they still used to be able to knock hell out the receiver, Joe. You can't do that now. That's a flag. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:44 Then would, hey, let that ball get tipped if you want to. Let that ball come up short if you want to. They did not care. Uh-uh. Gotta have a head on the swivel, boy. So now that's why you see all these receivers brave. Everybody catching the ball one hand like a man like that Michael George. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:04 Catching the ball with one hand across the middle. I see. You think about it. Ocho, you might go two, three weeks before you saw a receiver catch the ball with one hand. You see at least three to four one hand catches a week now. Back. A week. Every game.
Starting point is 00:35:22 Every game. Every game. Now, I'm not even, it's hard for me to be impressed with a one hand catch because I see them all the time. You used to be really impressed when you saw Chris Carter make a one hand to catch or you saw one of these receivers make a one hand to catch. Now you get guys that just guys making one hand to catch because there's no fear of going across the middle.
Starting point is 00:35:44 Yeah, no fear again. No, nothing. Nothing. And the defensive receiver, you can't, hey, the guy. pulls up. Now, man, they used to look. Shallow cross, linebacker would hunt you up.
Starting point is 00:35:59 If you're not looking like you running because you're saying man's on and that quarterback not make looking, Coach Belichick had a famous say and say, look, if you can't cover him, knock his ass down. Yep. And you know you can do that within that five yard range. Hey, it's hard for you to run around on the ground, Joe.
Starting point is 00:36:16 I imagine. Especially if you look it up through your, you're looking up through your earhold. It's like, who did that? Who hit me? Oh, them some good days. Hey, they made a man out. They put, hey, those days put hair on your chairs,
Starting point is 00:36:32 Ocho. O'wee. They put hair on your chair, Joe, because you go right, hey, all that talking, like guys be talking now, you had to be really, really special to say because then not anybody would just talk, say something because they know they protect it.
Starting point is 00:36:47 Yeah, back then, they're going to hunt your ass, wasn't it? What? Oh, yeah. Joe, Joe, I'm not, I'm not saying there was a bounty out for your boy, but my mouth, man. Joe. What? I can imagine, Joe. I can imagine.
Starting point is 00:37:03 I enjoyed every minute of Joe. Please, I need you angry. I need you upset. I need you playing with aggression because all you're going to do, you're going to mess up. Okay, the first game is, Ocho, the Patriots, Seattle, they play Wednesday. Oh, wait, this Wednesday coming. So we got a whole other week. We got a whole other week.
Starting point is 00:37:24 Okay, okay. The 49th is played a Patriot. Okay, okay. Then that Thursday, because normally the game was on Thursday, but because Netflix has this game, which is 7.35 p.m. Netflix. Hey, hey, hold on, hold on. Y'all football trying to cut into the damn basketball. Y'all got football on Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:37:43 Y'all had third. We got you out Thursday. I told you, Joe, y'all might as well forget about, y'all might as for Christmas Day. Y'all can forget about that. We're going to be balanced. We're going to forget about nothing. We're going to be valid.

You better not ever, ever let the Cowboys play on Christmas. It's over. The Cowboys going to have three or four of the biggest game. regardless. Oh yeah. So yeah. What's the NFL final?
Starting point is 00:43:24 Hold on. They like to get up and watch football. They love football. It was over. It ain't no going back. Oh, our special guest joins us. We'll come back to this up. We got a very special guest joining us,
Starting point is 00:43:39 rookie detackle, Landon Robinson. You dominated the preseason, bro. A seventh round draft pick. Tell us your mindset coming in the camp as a seventh round draft pick. You know a lot of times. time those seventh round draft picks, they use those guys as camp bodies. They don't really think you're going to be able to stick it out.
Starting point is 00:43:54 But somehow you found your niche, and here we are on the 53-man roster. Congratulations, too. Thank you so much. I appreciate you. And first of all, thank you guys so much for having me. Yeah, like you said it, you know, as a seventh round pick, you know, you come into the league and, you know, you have that chip on your shoulder, right? You have that chip in your shoulder, and you, all you want to do is just show the team
Starting point is 00:44:15 and show your teammates and the coaches that they can trust you. So that was my mindset. I came in and I was like, I just want to show out, you know, just do what I've done, you know, throughout my entire career and just continue to learn and just get better. Obviously, it's a next level. It's the NFL. It's not college. But I just had that mindset that I just keep getting better every single day.
Starting point is 00:44:32 And at one point, you'll be making plays. So that was my mindset. You're from Copley, Ohio. So this is an extra special for you. How far is that from Cincinnati, if you don't mind me asking? It is about three and a half hours. Yeah, not too bad at all. So you have some family.
Starting point is 00:44:47 You have some family. in every home game. Yes, sir. Yeah, yeah. They've been coming up for all the preseason games and it's been awesome. Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:44:56 What has it been like for you? Obviously, not going drafted in the learning curve. The learning curve and being able to catch up most of the time for myself, I think about the speed of the game. The speed of the game, to me, it was like, oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 00:45:09 This is ridiculous. For you, how has that learning curve been for you? And have you gotten acclimated to the speed of the game yet? Yeah, I think the speed of the game, when you first get there, you know, when I first got to Cincinnati, it's definitely like, oh, these guys are a little bit bigger, a little bit faster.
Starting point is 00:45:24 Everybody's a lot smarter. I think that was the biggest difference is, you know, everybody is, everybody really knows the game. Like, you don't realize how much you don't know about football until you're around guys that really do this, you know, like Dexter Dexter Lawrence, you know, John Finallan, those guys are seasoned vets, you know, BJ Hill. So being able to learn from those guys, you know, throughout camp, I think I've gotten better.
Starting point is 00:45:45 I've gotten used to the speed of the game now. And, you know, in preseason, I got the chance to get out there and kind of, you know, get accimated a little bit. But I'm excited to go into week one and just continue to learn and grow. That's dope. Yes, sir. When it's a situation where, like, when you said these guys are a lot smarter, they use every mistake, every misstep, they use that against you. You take one false step, that guy's got you cut off. These guys are so, and you look at this guy like, ain't no way you're going to cut me off.
Starting point is 00:46:12 And the next thing you know, you're like, damn, get over the top, son. Hey, Robinson, get over the top. of that. That is your play. That's right. That's right. And it's that slightest misstep. And that's why being able to study the game is so important because they use all every single mistake that you use.
Starting point is 00:46:29 Every single mistake that you make. You know, it could cost you in the run game for sure. Hey, well, I can ask you a question. What round did you think you were going to get drafted in? Because I was a seventh round draft pick also. And I thought I would go somewhere between the first and the third round. And so I ended up going to seventh round because when I came out,
Starting point is 00:46:45 the draft was on a Sunday. So now obviously this or Thursday, Friday, Saturday. So what round did you think you were going to get drafted in that put this, to put this chip and say, y'all, you know what, I got something for y'all last when I get to camp. I don't know. I don't know who's going to draft me, but y'all will get a hell of, y'all get a pissed off player, and I'm going to punish everybody that goes in front of me.
Starting point is 00:47:02 That's right. And that's exactly the mindset that you got to have. You know, obviously people have got projections and where they think you're going to go, you know, based off what coaches are saying. So I heard anything from third round to fourth round to, you know, fifth round, right? So I was, you know, kind of waiting between. that day two day three range and I was just waiting just waiting with my family we had a big old draft party we were doing which was awesome and my mom set that up so thank you to her but um
Starting point is 00:47:26 but no I was like waiting between that those rounds and I just started to get later and later and later and we're sitting there obviously that chip is just building that it's just building and building and you're just thinking about all the coaches that you've talked to and just all the relationships that you've built over that time and all he wants the opportunity just the opportunity to go out there and just to shine. So the Bengals gave me the opportunity. And I'm just blessed. And no matter what round it was, I'm just blessed to be able to get picked up. Hey, what you, tell me, what did you think the biggest difference or preparation when it comes to like college football and the pros? What do you think going to be the biggest difference? I think studying the game, the film room, is the biggest difference.
Starting point is 00:48:05 I feel like in college, especially at the Naval Academy, you don't have a whole lot of time to really, you know, dive deep into your opponent the way that you do now, right? In the NFL, you know, it's your job. So it's your job to study that. But in college, you don't have that time. So I think that's the biggest difference. And I've been learning that with my coach, you know, Coach Jerry Montgomery, he's been teaching me how to watch the film,
Starting point is 00:48:25 how to study, you know, the backfield sets, how to see, you know, different tendencies before the snap, you know, even happen. So that's how you play faster and that's how you become a great player. So I'm still learning that. And I'm excited to just keep growing. Hold on. I like that.
Starting point is 00:48:38 How old you? The Naval Academy, man, your big ass can't fit in no sub. You're going to get stuck going down there. I'm trying to before and I'm definitely not no submariner, no, sir. But, yeah, I serve selected Marine Corps out of the Naval Academy. So, Marine, not a submarine. Yeah, okay. I like that.
Starting point is 00:48:59 One of the one things I like that you said, especially as early in your career, understanding that you have to be a student in the game, you know, watching film, watching tendencies, so it makes it easier for you on Sundays. So being at your position, I need to know who do you watch? You got to give me your top three. Your top three at your position that you watch, that you might want to steal stuff from and more your game. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:49:21 You know, as an undersized D tackle, obviously, Aaron Donald is probably the number one guy watched. Since college, I've been watching him for years, years. And I try to model my game after him and his explosiveness, the way he, you know, contorts his body to play different blocks. I think he's number one for sure. And then I say, Gino Atkins, you know, a Bengals guy. So there we go. That's a good one. Oh, no, was hell for it.
Starting point is 00:49:44 That's a good one. Yeah, Gino Atkins. Yeah, he was also explosive, you know, got that first step, just quickens off the ball, then using his hands. And I'd say, Colagia Cancy, you know, on Tampa Bay. He's a great, another undersized detackle, but, you know, he's got, he uses his hands well. And, yeah, he gets in that backfield. So I study those guys all the time, just watch their film and just try and find
Starting point is 00:50:04 different things I can take from. So, yeah. You look at Aaron Donald. If you look at Aaron, he always plays on edges. He never give the man a full body. You're never going to get this breastplate. You get this. You get this.
Starting point is 00:50:17 He's wax on, wax off. Hey, he's, hey, he's so tight with it. I've never seen a guy his size that can swim and then get low to get right back. Because the quarterback right there, he's like, if I get too far up the field, I'm going to run past the quarterback. He can swim and dip so quick. He's the best I've seen at that. And I've seen a lot of great tackles.
Starting point is 00:50:38 I've seen sap. I played in the league with Sapp and Johnny Randall and a lot of these guys. he's the best I've seen at this. Yeah, no doubt. And I had the opportunity to meet him, actually, in the pre-draft process. And I got to, I opened in Pittsburgh. I went up to Pittsburgh, and I got to meet him and kind of do like the size difference. We're like the same size, which was awesome.
Starting point is 00:50:56 You know, seeing that he can do it in the NFL, they gave me a lot of confidence. So got to meet him, pick his brain a little bit. And, you know, I'm excited that he's back in the league now. So hopefully we'll see him one day. Yeah. Hey. Yeah. Hey.
Starting point is 00:51:08 What do you think about Cincinnati? I mean, obviously, you know, you've been there. what about four or five months and four five months what you I love it I love Cincinnati so much I've never fallen in love with the city so fast the people are so loving you know they care about you know their athletes and they take care of them and I'm just so glad and so happy to be here and it's like I said it's only three and a half hours from from where I'm from so my family can come up but it's just been such a blessing to be here for sure what are you guys doing complication is it
Starting point is 00:51:39 is it rural area do you farming is it actually Ag, what's going on in the complex? Yeah, it's a suburb of Akron, Cleveland, so a little suburb, a nice little area, but it definitely not too much to do there compared to Cincinnati. But it's a nice place, and I grew up there, and I definitely called it home for sure. Wow. You got you setting the goals, obviously, was making the team was the number one goal. So is there any other goals if you said, man, I can be a rotational player.
Starting point is 00:52:09 I can get me by four or five sacks. I just want to contribute. So whatever the contribution, whatever that looks like, count your boy in. That's right. That's right. I think you took the words right out of my mouth. Just finding a way to contribute early in whatever way that I can. You know, either they need me on special teams.
Starting point is 00:52:25 They need me as that, no, that third down guy. Like, whatever they need me to do, I'm down for that. And just finding my niche in there, right? I think that's my biggest thing. I think that's my on-the-field goal is just to find the way on the field, right? But then my off-the-field goals is just helping I start to found The Lena Robinson Foundation. It's a mental health, you know, providing that advocacy for mental health, right? I think that's something, especially in the NFL that not a lot of people like to talk about, right?
Starting point is 00:52:53 And that's something that I wanted to bring that to the community and to Cincinnati, you know, with this platform that I have. And it's been such a blessing to be able to do that and just provide that for the city. So I'm growing my foundation. I'm just trying to just work with that. And my mom and I have been working with that. And she's been doing a great job with it. So kind of just two different goals that I got there. But it's been a blessing to be here. I'm just excited to just keep going.
Starting point is 00:53:14 Landa, you know, you got to be smart to get into the Naval Academy. You know, Ocho, Joe, and I, we couldn't have got to be able to agree with our grade. You had a ball and SAT score. They probably wouldn't touch yours. Yeah, you know, you got to be a little smart for sure. The Naval Academy, it's a special place, and it's a leadership laboratory. So you got you go in there and you're challenged and your shape to be, you know, an officer in the military. So definitely it's a challenging place, but, you know, you're a challenge.
Starting point is 00:53:41 place, but you learn a lot about yourself. And I've learned a lot about how to handle adversity and how to grow in times or challenging, which is that's what football is. You know, and I think that's the reason why, you know, we've had so many guys. We have a few more guys than usual, you know, coming out of the academies playing professional sports because it just builds you as a person and as a player. Yeah, you know what everyone has to that comes out of, you know, any academy. Discipline.
Starting point is 00:54:09 Everybody has discipline. And that is the number one thing that you do need to do anything or just to be successful for anything, especially when it comes to the game of football, having the discipline to do everything the right way consistently over and over and over again. So, no doubt. Have you thought about what it's going to be like
Starting point is 00:54:27 running out that tunnel for the first time? You're a professional. That's what it really hit. I mean, look, you know, I got drafted. I'm doing the preseason. I'm doing the OT. I'm doing all this stuff. There's going to come a Sunday.
Starting point is 00:54:38 and that stadium the jungle is going to be rocking and you're going to run out there and that crowd is going to be screaming. Have you thought about what that moment's going to be like? Oof, man, I've thought about it, but it's like a moment of it'll really hit you once you see it. You can think about it. You can hear the fans screaming and all that
Starting point is 00:55:00 and the cameras and the lights, but it'll really hit me when I get that opportunity to run out there on week one. And I'm just so excited. And it's such a blessing. I got the call today that I made the team from my position coach. He called me. Yeah, he called me.
Starting point is 00:55:17 And he was like, hey, Landon, like, how do you think camp went? And I was like, you know, I think it went pretty good. And I just tried to just stack days and just get better every single day. And then he was like, you know, what do you think you'll do if you don't make the team? And I was like, oh, man, you know, just try and see what other opportunities are out there for me. And, you know, if not, then I'll go back active duty and I'll go serve. Then he was like, you know, good thing you don't have to go do that. And I just started, I know, I know.
Starting point is 00:55:44 I just started crying. I just said, thank you so much. And, you know, I'm just going to go give it all I got. That's what I said. So just an emotional, emotional time. But it's times like that you think about, you know, running out that tunnel for the first time. And you just, it all just hits you at once. So I think I'll be definitely a little emotional, but I'm excited for it.
Starting point is 00:56:02 Hey, man, coach got my man anxiety all up in everything, playing games and all that. Yeah. Right. Hey, hey, Cote, Coach Tripp. I appreciate. Hey, but now, we need one thing. We need one thing. Now, you know, I'm the king of celebration.
Starting point is 00:56:18 Yes, sir. King of celebration. When you get a sack, you got to have something. I got it. You got to have something. I got something. So during the preseason, I had four sacks on PFF over the preseason. So that was a blessing.
Starting point is 00:56:32 Yes, sir. Every time I get a sack, I get up, right? And I come to attention, right? Military style, right? Yeah. I hit a little salute. A little salute to the cry. There it go.
Starting point is 00:56:41 There you go. Yeah, a little salute to the crowd. I like that. I started to catch a little bit of fire, but, you know, I'm excited to keep doing that. Keep making plays and that'll be my celebration. So it's probably fun. Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:56:52 That's a good. Thank you. You realize what Cincinnati is known for it. They put chili on everything. You order a grip and eggs, they put chili on it. What? They do. You get a hammerer.
Starting point is 00:57:00 You get chili on it. You get ice cream. They put chili on it. I have tried to chili yet. I have Skyline. It's definitely been. something that I've kind of, you know, gotten accustomed to. I'm just like, I can't eat it every day.
Starting point is 00:57:14 Like, it's not an everyday eye for sure. But I'll eat it, you know, I'll eat it. I do like it. I like the taste here and there, but it definitely can't eat it every day. That's all I say. I can't eat it every day. Man, my stomach hurt now. I were thinking about eating.
Starting point is 00:57:29 I already know. I ain't got no. I'm sitting there with chili. No, yeah. No, I once or twice, you know, a month or so. That would be good. But when you called your family, when you called your family and told them, hey, guys, I made the team.
Starting point is 00:57:44 What was that, what was that celebration? Like, what was that background noise? Because I know you picked up the phone and called your mom. I did. She was like, yes, I called her first. And she was actually on her way back. She was driving somewhere. And I called her, facetimed her.
Starting point is 00:57:59 And I told her, and I could barely get the words out because I was like, man, like, it was just such a blessing. And I told her I made a team. And, you know, she started crying. in and I barely got any words out because I was choked up. I was choked up. I was probably crying for like a good 15, 20 minutes after the ball. So when I called her, I was still, you know, still crying and just trying to just, you know, soak it all up, you know.
Starting point is 00:58:21 But she definitely, she was crying with me and she just, you know, congratulated me and said the hard work, you know, just getting started and just keep going, keep stacking days. And you'll be wherever you want to be, you know, because we got some big goals. Yeah. Hey, them emotions come up, bro, because you got to think. back when you was a kid and this was only a dream you know what I mean and now that's right you know what I mean like it's almost like you gotta pinch yourself sometime I've been there you know you get drafted you like hold on I'm really a
Starting point is 00:58:49 professional I'm really an NFL player you know what I mean I totally get it so for you to be lost for words and call your mom bro that's huge bro congratulations I know what that feeling is like just try to seize a moment bro keep working hard yes sir yes sir I think you have also I do I got got an older brother, younger brother. So I called them right after I called my mom. And they were, they were like, my little brother don't quite get it. He's a, he's a junior in high school now, but he don't really like know the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:59:16 He kind of thought I was already on the team. And when I got drafted, he was like, oh. People think that you get drafted, that you're automatically on the team. Right. Right. But like the first through three rounds, without everybody else, you got to make it. You got to make it. You got to make it.
Starting point is 00:59:30 But then my older brother, you know, I called him and said his new wife. He just got married like two weeks ago. So, yeah. So thank you. So I called him with his wife and I was just talking to them and he started crying on the phone. And it was just super emotional day. But it's such a blessing though. It's all that like you said, all the hard work from years back, way back.
Starting point is 00:59:50 Because my older brother, he used to help me train, you know, back in our garage when I was a kid. And just all those times you think about that. And it's just all the emotions just come flowing. So they never played a sport in any of your brothers play? No, my older brother, he did the band. He played the trombone in the band. So he played baseball way back in the day, but he didn't play football. And my little brother, he's also in the band.
Starting point is 01:00:11 He does gymnastics. So I was the only football guy in the family. But I'm just so blessed to be able to help them out and help provide for them in the future. Are you musically inclined because you say your brother played the trombone, now your brother, the other brother's the band. You can play football. You couldn't play an instrument. All right.
Starting point is 01:00:30 No, I couldn't take it past high school. No, past middle school. No, I played the tuba back in the day. And that was about it. It was a little too, but it was a little heavier so I could kind of lift as I was in the playing it. So that's about it. That's about that how I got.
Starting point is 01:00:44 I like it. Hey, you know what? If you need a nutritionist, you know, I'm a good. Yes, sir. I definitely do. Thank you. Yeah. You don't listen to him.
Starting point is 01:00:53 You don't want no part of his nutrition is that. Nutrition. No. All right. I'm not to take you up, but I appreciate you. Yes, sir. Well, congratulations, man, on making the team. That's a big shout out.
Starting point is 01:01:05 Congratulations. to you and your family. I know they're extremely, extremely excited. We wish you the best of luck. Stay healthy. Hey, now the journey starts. Yes, sir. A lot of people think the journey starts when you get drafted. No, no, no, no, no, no. The journey starts now. That's right. Yes, sir. Thank you so much. Stay healthy and we'll see you down the road, bro. Thank you so much. Appreciate you. Yes, sir. Let's do it. Thank you guys. Thank you guys. Yes, sir. Have a good one. Thank you, sir. That's Landon Robinson, seventh round draft pick out of The Naval Academy, go ahead, Ocho.
Starting point is 01:01:39 I got his bathroom real quick. Seventh-round draft pick out of the Naval Academy. Made it on to a roster. Look, I'm trying to think. Roger Stalbett is probably the greatest naval alum. President Carter went to the Naval Academy. Napoleon McCallum went to the Naval Academy. Those are like three people that at the top of my head.
Starting point is 01:01:59 Obviously, there are a lot of other people that normally mostly military. but Roger Starback went to active duty and came back. Roger run this Heisman trophy. He came back. Man. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:14 Man, that's what's up for the young man, bro. He seemed excited. Oh, my God. Hey, you get to share with your family. Oh, you know how I go, bro. Yeah, man. You know what that's like. Yeah, man, it's because you know what?
Starting point is 01:02:26 Like you said, I mean, a lot of people think, because my sister thought that. My sister thought just what his little brother thought. I thought you was on the team. Nah, no, no, no. If I'd have been the first three rounds, yeah, I'd have been on the team. Yeah. But no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:02:40 You got to make the team. Seventh round or sixth rounders, they got to make the team. Back then, Joe, we had 12 rounds. Damn. Yeah, they shortened it. Now, they don't have 12 rounds. We used to have 12 rounds. But, man, you can just hear the excitement in his voice.
Starting point is 01:02:52 You can see the excitement on his face. And I'm just, it's always great when you talk to young people like that, Ochoe. They're genuinely excited. Yeah. His mom is excited for us. for him and you know what happened?
Starting point is 01:03:06 Everybody that he talked to, what did they do? They cry. Crying. The emotions. You know, sometimes, you know, people try to be tough and, you know, I'm not holding nothing in.
Starting point is 01:03:17 That's a moment. That's a moment I've dripped up. And they know how hard you work, bro. They know the work that you had to put in to get that you're part of the 1% now. Yes. Come on, man. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:03:29 And you know what else you got to think about two-hopping Joe? Is the people that he called that cried as well, I'm sure they had to make their sacrifice as well along the way. He said his brother helped him in the gym. In the garage. When they were younger. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:41 Oh, David Robinson also went to the neighbor. Hey, hey, hey, hold up. We're talking about David Robinson. Hey,
Starting point is 01:03:49 man, back then when guys, man, you see how Chisle of David Robinson was when he came? Yeah, you see those caps on the shoulders? Yeah. Ocho.
Starting point is 01:03:55 Ocho. All the guys would like that, Joe. Look at Elijah. Look how Elijah want. Look at Patrick you and how he looked. Oh, Dave Robinson 7-1 running like a deer.
Starting point is 01:04:05 Yes. Dead man was different, Ocho. Do you hear me? Yeah. Yes, sir. Dang. But you go back and look at them old school centers, Ocho. I mean, Nate Thurman, Nate Thurman looked like he was 32 when he was 21.
Starting point is 01:04:21 Go ahead. Hey, I got a question. I'm glad you just said that Uncle Joe, think about this. How come everybody in the 70s, 70s and 80s look much older than their age? Cutting ahead hard. They live hard lives. They work. You gotta realize
Starting point is 01:04:35 what school they went to, Ocho. They grew up in, a lot of different people grew up in the rule. They had to work. They lifting cotton. They do in manual labor. That's why they look much older. And more laid hard lives, Ocho.
Starting point is 01:04:47 Yes. Now, some of them did party hard too now. No, hey, listen, but that body, those bodies, those bodies came from hard work. Those body came from lifting. And I ain't out.
Starting point is 01:05:01 no damn basketball either. Oh, yeah. And them boy, hey, they was on. Is that Cambodia? No, that's, that's, G. That's my daughter, right? Man, my, my, I can't. Looking just like her dad over there, boy.
Starting point is 01:05:17 She said, nah, let me go on that. Hey, she said, let me go on that one. Hey, hey, hey, Ocho, I know them girl got you wrapped around their finger, boy. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Absolutely. Absolutely. They do.
Starting point is 01:05:30 man they cover that that that that that that that that that that that that's that that's a hey hey and that's a i don't even respond that's that's my response how much hey hey daddy what you doing joe hey daddy what you doing man how much hey i ain't got but hey look i ain't got but one girl oh joe i yeah hey boy listen i can't even imagine having two three three six Joe Oh my God. Yeah, you. Six. Hey, Joe, tell him.
Starting point is 01:06:05 Hey, Joe, tell about that, uh, that, what I sent you this morning. What, what you said me? What you were? Oh, boy. Oh, man. Ocho, he got you beat. What happened? He got 15 boys and 12 girls.
Starting point is 01:06:17 Yes, Ocho. Kid, by like 19 different women, bro. Okay. I'm talking about about 19. Did you hear how many kids? Oh, just called out, bro. Hold on. How many again?
Starting point is 01:06:29 He got 15 boys. 12 girls. Oh, he must be real old. Oh, he didn't age. Yeah. He might have been, he might have been 40. Oh, Joe. He said he got to like, guess how much he got to pay?
Starting point is 01:06:43 How much? $200. Why? Oh, so they're in the middle of nowhere then. Why don't you got to pay $200? Yeah, that doesn't sound right. He's just like, you, you heard the judge told him, I know you, I would like to have you pay more,
Starting point is 01:06:58 but you got other responsibility. Maybe. Let's think about it. If he paid $200 per child, he got 27 kids. Think about how much that is a month. Oh. That's just $200 per child. Imagine if he had to pay $500 or $1,000. Lord forbid he had to pay $1,000 a month.
Starting point is 01:07:21 Hey, that got to be somewhere small, huh? Like a little smaller town? I don't know. I don't know what your butt. Hey, Joe, it got to be a small town, but they ain't got to be, you know, it ain't much to do it outside of you know what outside of appropriate oh cho he said he got like five or six there's up the same age born in the same year yeah yeah by by all five or six
Starting point is 01:07:39 different women but there was there was one guy in ten i think it was Tennessee chat it might have been Tennessee he got 33 kids ain't no I cut this thing off for I haven't done 33 that's impossible 33 that's three boy I'm chopping that thing off I'm chopping it off it's No way. There ain't no way. We can get to no damn 33. I'll tell you that now. 3rd, check, check, Google that work, what I got? That's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's $3. Huh? That's a $5,400 a month. Think about that for, for every person, he can't pay $5,400 a month. Ooh. He can't pay that $54. Do you understand $5,400 a month? That's, that's, that's, that's $6,800? You sure that's not AI? No, I said it to Joe.
Starting point is 01:08:30 I said Joe to clip. But there's a guy. Hey, Chad, where's that guy from? Google at Ocho, there's a guy that got 33 kids. I think it's Tennessee. Boy. That's a, that don't even sound possible. Josie, I'm done.
Starting point is 01:08:54 I ain't no more good. I'm cutting it off. Okay, it's old wet. Hey, Joe, what you got? You got three? You done? You done? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:04 Oh, Demand George. There's a truck driver who went viral for fathering 33 children were multiple women. Yeah, it just popped up. He had 30, 30 children were 11 different women. Charles Boy, went to, blah, blah, less than $2. Well, ain't no way. Ain't no way. I got three, that three strikes.
Starting point is 01:09:27 I don't struck out. It's always. Yeah, that bad, because what he said? Because I thought he was going to say, yeah, I got 15. He said, no, I got 15 boys and 12 girls. He's got to be small places. I don't care. I don't care if it ain't 12 people in the city.
Starting point is 01:09:48 That hell. Ocho, even if it is small, guess what? That should even be more because everybody knows everybody. It should be, it should be more likely in a place like California, in a place like New York where there's a vast population. You dealing with, you dealing with you dealing in a small town like that. 33? Hold on your truck.
Starting point is 01:10:11 But listen, it wouldn't happen like that in other cities, right? Because the small time, they got to be a small place. And he got to be the man. He got to be the man. He got to be the man. In order to get them to agree to even do exactly what's happening, to get the 33, when you get the 5, you get the 6, you get the 7, when you hit double digits and they are still willing,
Starting point is 01:10:32 you got to be that forward. He's a truck driver. Wherever he's from. He's a truck driver, Ocho. So he's going state to state. Don't nobody, nobody. Nobody. Yep.
Starting point is 01:10:41 You can hit, oh Joe, you can hit about three states in a day now. Oh, yeah. I can see that, Ojo. I can see it. Yeah. I can see it. Hey, up, eight, but you know what to say you want to keep having kids.
Starting point is 01:10:54 Go to have 30. Who? You want to impress me half 20. I don't believe you can get 20. Not, no, I can't because I'm, I want twins. I'm, if I get twins, I'm done. Damn. You see, I, I, Joe, I got mine, but it's, it's, the ship is run.
Starting point is 01:11:10 is a tight ship being run. Yeah. Everybody working in unison. Ain't no, ain't no issues. Ain't no problems. Ain't no drama. Everybody work under one umbrella. So it's been, it's always been easy.
Starting point is 01:11:25 Always been easy because everybody's aligned with the same end goal. No issues, no problems. Kids come first. If you need me, you got it. If it's the emergency, hit me. Make me your last option. But you're always good. I think that we just, I never had.
Starting point is 01:11:40 had no issues. I got dudes that are playing the league, man, how you did it? How can you never had no drama? Well, here, let me sit it down to you and tell you what to do. For one, take care of the little one. Makes sure she good. And don't be spinning the block, knocking down. Hello, there you go. Because now you create, now you create emotion. There you go. You can't do that. Most of getting involved and you bouncing back and forth. Nah, you can't do that. Be with her or you let her go. Let it be with somebody else. Yeah. But you go down and send a mixed messages, than in wonder why you, Jasmine Sullivan,
Starting point is 01:12:11 you bust the windows out of your car. Oh, you come outside of your tires flat, your car scratched up. Nope. Fag. Fags. Hey, way. Man, you ain't, nope.
