Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.
Thank you for joining us for another episode of Nightcap as you watch the New York
Football Giants as they honor September 11th.
Take down the Dallas Cowboys 28 to 20.
But if you watch the game, it really wasn't even that close, Ocho.
It really wasn't that close.
I am so sorry for Joe, but I think you're going to have a long, long year this year.
Y'all know who I am.
I am your favorite uncle.
My partner and co-hosts, his team won today.
His team won today.
That's the Liberty City legend, the Dade County, Navy, the native.
The Bengal Ring of Fame Honorary, he's the all-time lead receiver in Bingles history.
He's a six-time pro bowler and a multiple-time all-pro.
That is Chad, Ocho, Cinco,
So Johnson, the third member of the big three, his team did not win tonight.
Yep.
He's from Little Rock, Arkansas.
You know, that's close to Dallas, so they ain't really have no team.
So he jumped on the Cowboys bandwagon, and he's been hurting ever since.
But you know what?
It serves it right.
That is the seven-time NBA All-Star, All-NBA selection, Mr. Clutch.
That is ISO, Joe Johnson.
Joe, how you feeling?
Am I, Ang, Ocho.
What's happening?
What?
Hey, Joe, all that popping off?
if you were doing boy the last two weeks.
Boy, talking about your cowboy, this and the Cowboys, that.
He got that defense.
He got Dak.
He got, dude, C.D.
I ain't got C.D.
I got, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on,
Chay, y'all bear with us real quick.
Hey, you know, you talk, Caleb Down, but what happened?
What?
I got, hold on, hold on, Ocho.
I got the Dallas defense.
I got Scataboo, and I had, I got Likely.
Oh, okay, we likely did just support.
But I don't think you, I don't know who you went against today.
I sure hope you ain't going against me.
Man, I know.
I went up against, I know I beat them.
I'll wax them.

Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.
Cowboys.
The Cowboys, the New York football Giants take down to Dallas Cowboys
by the score of 28 to 20.
Jackson Dart was sensational tonight.
23 of 29.
Three touchdowns, 230 yards.
Cam Scatterboe, 18 carries, 81 yards, a touchdown and a backflip.
Jackson Dart, his legs were invaluable.
11 carries 54 yards.
They ran the ball 37 times for a buck 65.
Isaiah likely man, he looked incredible tonight.
Eight catches for 78 yards and two touchdown.
Malik neighbors, a game time decision.
Six catches 69 yards.
They were all over the Cowboys.
With the exception of the fumble,
I thought they played really, really well tonight.
They did a job.
The defense did an outstanding job
of keeping the Cowboys under control.
But, oh, Joe, I'm going to say,
listen, I'm going to turn over you and Joe,
let you guys have at it.
I've never seen a team give up so many damn
flat first downs.
Oh.
That's either coaching or, but it's hard for me to believe that they're blowing
assignments. Singletary went down the field.
Three times in a row, caught a first down.
How many times did they leak the back out to the flat first down?
Three in a row.
Oh, Joe, what did you like about the Giants and how they were able to come out and
play so well and take down the Cowboys tonight?
Well, listen, for one, they're playing at home, right?
And I had belief.
Joe, Joe had me believing.
And he had been talking so much about the Cowboys.
He had me believe.
And obviously, I thought when the Cowboys having two of the most explosive receivers in the NFL,
I thought they was just going to pick up what they left off last year.
Obviously, that did not happen.
Now, for them, the Cowboys, I'm going to give them grace, because, you know,
offensively, it takes you a week or two, maybe three to get yourself going to find that.
Not that offensive is shit.
Hey, that, that too.
But I'm giving them a little grace because they are the Cowboys.
Outside of that, the bad thing.
him New York football Giants played phenomenal football.
It all starts with that foundational piece and brother Jackson Dart.
Jackson Dart was phenomenal tonight.
He was phenomenal night.
He was 23 for 29, three TDs.
He threw for 2.30.
Scatterboat, very exciting.
He picked that right way left off before he broke his ankle.
He looked good.
Fields.
Fields was the number two tonight.
I didn't know anything.
The six four receivers.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
He was the number two tonight.
I didn't see much of O'Dell.
I think O'Dell had one catch for seven yards.
And Malik neighbors, you know, was up in the air, whether he would play tonight.
He had a decent night.
He almost caused the interception of one where he didn't come back for the ball.
I went to curl around.
I thought it was, you know, kind of if he kind of hurt a little bit.
Outside of that, man, they look really good.
I'm not sure what the Cowboys will do it defensively with Singleton coming out of the back field every time.
The person that is supposed to pick up Singleton is always the back.
Singletary.
Always the back.
Singletary, I'm sorry, Singletary.
The backer must have had his eyes in the back field
and not paying attention to what is the sign that was at the time
because they blew that coverage every single time.
Singletary, single Tengletary, wait, Singletary.
Ocho.
Singletary came out of the back and they got the first down every time they wanted.
They ran that same play with their halfback out three times.
Man, it was third and 15.
Oh, they got a first down.
Yep.
They got a first down.
Then they ran it two more times.
He scored on the last.
last one. But what about the hand off? Oh, Cho, that they kept running to the flake to the flank to the flank side and getting that plank.
With scat, the scatterbo picked up a first down on a, uh, on a run and the Jackson dart picked up a first down on the run.
It was like the outside is contained. It's like somebody like either is coaching. It's just hard for me to believe that these guys keep blowing these kinds of assignments.
Yeah. I do believe the Giants guy, uh, uh, Reese blew an assignment, uh, when he let Javante Williams out of the back field.
But other than that, man, this was this was a poorly coach defense tonight by the Cowboys.
This was, this was awful.
Yeah, it was.
It was a tough game.
But look, in a lot of games, bro, especially this one, the night, there are pivotal moments, Uncle Ojo that happens in the game.
And right before the half, when Dak threw that damn interception, and they came down and they got points before to have.
Then they get the ball back after, you know what I mean?
Start and they scored.
So that momentum kind of carried over.
And we got tired.
It seemed like our defense just kept, you know, wearing down.
They were just wearing us down.
I thought Scatterboot done a hell of a job.
That back who kept coming out the back field, whatever they kept running for.
I'm like, damn, man, when we go?
You know what I mean?
How you let that beat you three times in a road, though, okay, Ocho?
You know, I didn't get it.
I don't know if they were trying to double up on neighbors or what,
but I just felt we shot our self in the foot because, look, that third and 15,
when they ran it the first time and their halfback got the first down,
and they killed us.
Because they could have been kicking,
they should have been kicking it off to us.
And you know what I mean?
Yeah.
I just think it's too many pivotal moments
that happened in the game,
especially when Dak threw their pick,
it's like everything went down here from there.
Because in the second half,
the momentum that they had,
we never regained ours.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
They did a great job.
They just controlled the clock,
Ocho.
They had the ball almost 37 minutes to the Cowboys,
23, 20.
When you can control the clock,
you can dictate.
So it's because you say the Cowboys,
you're going to give them grace,
where they couldn't get a rhythm.
because they couldn't get on the field.
Right.
Because they have the ball.
Think about it.
The first day, John's got the ball, go down the field.
They kept the ball for eight minutes.
They get the ball out of the half.
They keep the ball for eight minutes.
I can't get no rhythm, Mojo.
I'm looking, you know, I need to get on the field.
We're charming at the bill.
Think about how long we don't came out in the locker room
and I'm standing on the sideline.
I'm charping at the bit to get out there on the field.
And it's tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick,
first down.
First down.
Like, damn.
It's so, it's so demoralizing.
If you can't get a team out the field on third down,
all you want to do is get them the third down.
I don't give them a touchdown on first or second down.
I get the third.
Get off the field.
Here we go.
You kept them on third down,
but you couldn't get them out the field.
Ocho, they were nine of 11.
The Cowboys were eight of 11,
but the,
them referees,
y'all got a stock call on these ticket tax stuff.
CD fell down in the ears on,
Ocho, that wasn't no damn penalty now.
Yeah.
That was a, oh, Joe, we didn't.
Now, if we could have,
If we could have got called like that when we played on Joe?
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, no.
But listen, listen, listen.
I know it's only week one, right?
But again, Joe, it's still the same problems.
It's still the same problem.
The Cowboys problem last year, you know, Joe, you know,
I ain't trying to talk trashy.
I am.
I am not going to overreact, Joe.
I'm not going to overreact because it's only one.
But the one problem that the Cowboys have always had is being able to stop run.
Now, Joe, you told me y'all improved defensively, you know?
You told me y'all to improve.
But again, today, today's game shows that your Achilles Hill is still the same thing
that has always been near Achilles Hill for the past, you know, for years.
inability to stop the run, especially in important times.
30 and 15?
Ocho, Ocho, not to cut you off, guess who they got in two weeks?
King Henry and Lamar.
Oh, man, come on, you got to care.
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, a, hey, I'm scared.
I'm scared, you know.
Week, week by week, week, now, game.
game by game. Come on.
Y'all getting ahead of ourselves now.
We say, come on now.
No, no, no, no, Joe.
Joe, we're not getting ahead of ourselves.
What you need to understand is, hold on.
Hey, stay with me, Joe.
And think about this, as we,
we're not getting ahead of ourselves,
but teams improve week to week as the weeks for long.
So you think the Ravens go get better?
They ain't going to play.
They ain't going to play too much, damn better what they play tonight.
Now, come on, come on.
You have, hey, how many time?
Y'all can play worse, though.
No, no, no, we can play a lot better.
Joe, I've seen y'all give up 300 yards rushing before, Joe.
I see it.
I think you're talking about something old, huh?
So you keep saying, oh, hold on.
Go ahead.
I'll be talking about all and it happened today.
What was Russian?
Well, I know Scatterball, he probably had.
They had, they have 165 yards rushing.
Well, they are just concluding Jackson Dart.
He ran the ball, right?
He got legs.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
This is the scary thing, though, Uncle Joe.
What's the scary thing, right?
I like the cowboy, Joe.
You hit me, I like the cowboy.
I like him offensively.
But listen, the verdict is still out on them defensively.
And tonight is your first show on any indication on what the season going to be like.
And this is the game you want to step up in the show.
Listen, we differ now.
We differ now.
You told him Caleb Downs was that boy.
Ocho.
I know what he did in college.
You know, he was coming out of college.
He was that boy.
But, hey, I think.
He was different up here at this level.
Oh, Joe, oh, hey, we on the road.
We gave ourselves a chance.
We had a chance, man.
We had a few opportunities.
Okay, Ocho, we blew it.
Our mistakes killed us, bro.
We know that.
Come on.
You make it see like they ain't have no mistake.
Joe, Ocho, the Giants, 10 penalties, 114 yards.
The Cowboys, nine penalties for 90 yards.
But we know the Cowboys commit those penalties.
This is another thing that why you need to play your players in the preseason.
You see all these penalties?
They have a week one, week two, Ocho.
Pre-stap penalties.
And man, that number seven.
76, he the Giants for Layla.
Brust stay your ass on side.
You know the snap cut.
He told you in the huddle.
It's on one or it's on two.
And you jump it outside.
How many times you're going to get a pre-snap penalty?
Hey, but that's why I be, that's why I ask y'all, man,
is, is Russ versus rest when it come to these players,
especially coming into the season because they hadn't played in.
I don't know how many weeks.
Two weeks.
We talk about practice.
Y'all talking, man, there ain't nothing.
When that popcorn go to pop in a week.
we get out there. Look, how many catches, how many drives Pickens had tonight?
Oh, he had a touchdown. He had more than one, Oto. That was a touchdown, but he missed
on the rail, that deep ball. Yeah, Airpo's been touchdown. That's a day. That's a house call.
Come on, man. Stop playing. And then he missed the one. It was a third down right there when he caught it
right there. When he turned around. Come on, man. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We had some opportunities now.
Y'all did. Y'all did. Y'all did. I very likely eight targets, eight receptions, 78 yards, two
touchdown. He's the first Giants tied in with 75 plus yards, two plus touchdown and
receiving on the game since 2009. Hey, I see why Harborough brought him back
out brought him back. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. He got a whole little pack. That was Jackson
dark favorite target tonight. And and he and he made every catch that he was making that
third down care that he made, oh, uh, uh, and he got, they brought Richard,
Richard Richard. Uh, uh, Patrick Richard. Sure. Yeah. Full back. Yeah. You know, you got to
to bring a couple of guys over with you Ocho and Joe,
because you want them to be able to tell the,
the tempo in which we practice,
how we go about saying he don't like you guys to be late for meeting.
He likes for you guys to work out.
He likes for you guys to be on time.
He likes for us to do, you know, practice,
like to be at a certain speed.
You need a couple of guys that can relay your message.
Yeah.
Go ahead, Joe.
And the piggyback off of that, too, Uncle Joe,
you think about when a coach brings certain players with him
to a new team, he also understands their strengths.
He also understands.
he's going to be able to put them in certain situations schematically that he knows they're going to
succeed. He knew what Richard could do. He knew it likely to do. So what would he do? He implement
the same stuff they did well in Baltimore. You implement an offense over in New York and you get a night
like tonight would likely look like we've never seen him before. He's had days like this, you know,
moments like this, you know, with Baltimore, right? He's had moments, but obviously having to
split some of that stuff with Mark Andrews, it took away some of the things that he can do.
He's the focal point now, Ocho.
He's going to have a big year.
He's going to have a big year.
Because he can run.
He's smooth.
He's, man, he's huge.
He likes, he likes six, five.
Hey.
Yeah.
He probably played basketball.
Yeah.
He'd see the way he moved.
He had to play basketball.
He moved so effortless.
Go ahead, Ocho.
Go ahead, Joe.
Likely and Scatterboot.
And then four quarter, man, they were huge.
I'm talking about a big play after big play.
But I'm going to tell you something, man.
I like Jackson Dart.
Ocho he showed yeah he showed him I'm talking about he made some big time throws
uses legs he got down sometime that that one he ran up the rail up the left
side and we we put that level on him yeah he ain't turn that blick on fast enough
oh he ain't turn on fast enough hey hey we got to touch him up not got to touch him up
I was like man 20 23 of 29 yeah he was dealing real 29 he was dealing he was 9 of 11
Nine of 11 on third down, Joe.
You losing.
You losing that game.
Yeah.
Every time.
You losing that game.
They got bailed out a couple times.
Yeah, the Giants, DVD's got a little hands in.
But there are some calls there like, come on now.
Come on now.
Yeah, they're doing it a little bit more.
It's just still football, Uncle Joe.
Said the director got to hold them flags on some of them calls.
Now, it's still football at the end of the day.
Man, how many funnels did they have?
They had a couple of fumbles.
They recovered on their own.
Scataboo Fomba ball and got it back yourself.
Runyon.
It part right back up to him.
Jackson Dart, when he took that here from Caleb Downs.
Yeah.
The guard caught it and tried to take off running.
Oh, man, you see that?
Right in his hand.
I'm like, damn.
Normally bad things normally happen when that happened, Joe.
Because you know, they got all that got the big old thick gloves on.
They got your hands taped up.
So bad things normally happen when the linemen touch the football,
especially the offensive lineman.
Bad things.
normally happened, but he was able to secure the ball, kept the possession, but I thought
the Giants played extremely well. That's what Harbaugh is going to bring. They believe,
I think that's the biggest thing. And sometimes, sometimes, you just need to change your voice.
Some other players need to hear your voice. I just think John Harbaugh voice had fallen on death
ears in Baltimore. And it was time for someone else to hear. I didn't think he was a bad coach.
I just think he needed to coach somebody else. Just like any relationship.
Sometimes, Ocho, you just want to hear somebody else tell you, I love you, baby.
Sometimes you want to hear somebody else tell I love you, baby.
That's all.
That don't make you no bad guy.
That don't make her no bad person.
She just want to, she just want to hear I love you from somebody else.
Why don't you say somebody else?
Why not you?
Yeah.
She died of you saying.
It don't sound the same.
Hey, you know, no, nothing sounds as good as a fresh I love you from somebody that ain't yours.
Hey, you know what?
Well, that's why I got two names.
Huh?
And you get, Joe, you get I love you from Chad.
You get I love you.
What you, bro.
And you get out of that, that's uncivilized.
Hey, you like, I love you, Cambodia.
I love you, baby.
I love your mom, but you love you.
Hey, I change up my voice.
Change them, hey, I can talk deep.
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
Oh, I can have my high.
Hey, baby, I love you.
You know, hey.
You do realize you still.
You still, that's, you still, you still, oh, Joe.
You should still hear it from you, right?
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know.
I understand.
I understand.
Hey, that kind of hit a little bit right there.
I don't like that now.
What's that?
I just, the Giants ran the same play four times in a row.
I passed to the running back in the blast and the Cowboys still couldn't stop it.
I've never seen it.
And I'm like, hold on.
This, this can't be, they, there's got to be coaching.
There's got to be coaching.
Ain't no way.
Hey, guys gonna blow a coverage four times in a row, Ocho.
Come on, man.
Come on, come on.
This thing, too.
You got to understand it too.
You got to think about the salad dressing.
The salad dressing.
It's the same play with a different formation.
Therefore, coaching comes in the play to let them know on certain down the distance.
Watch this.
They're going to keep running the same play until you stop it.
The only thing, the only thing that they're going to change up is the formation at the end.
Yeah.
What you're talking about?
What happened, Joe?
I couldn't believe.
When I was watching it, okay,
oh, Joe, when I'm watching,
I'm like, okay, after it got,
I had burnt us once,
I said, damn,
because that was the first third and 15,
I'm like, damn,
all right, then it came and ran again.
I said, all right, no.
Who's supposed to be?
Who got him?
And they ran it again.
And, come on, bro.
Hey, listen, I was about to be, what?
And that counter,
I don't know how many times
they ran that counter to the same side,
that same left side.
They saw something,
they saw something on,
when we watched film,
that we coach oh we see something with their deep their right side our left side yeah we see something
because if you think about it a lot of the past that swing pass out of the back field that flat
was to the left side yeah the counter came back to the left side there's something going on
with the cowboys right side our left side that we felt we could take advantage of and they have
a dammit they take advantage of it check this out best on based on EPA drive the cowboys had the
worst defensive performance by any team in week one it was
worst at all, but one of their defensive games last year.
Among the 575, four games since the start of last season, it ranked 571st,
seven possessions, four touchdowns, one punt, one pumble, a run out the clock.
If Tracy doesn't form of that ball, Ocho, they're going out of the field of score again.
Yeah.
Joe, how you feeling?
Joe, matter of fact, Joe, they didn't jump off size.
He would have, I was like, I was like,
Oh, man, if you stay in front of the sticks,
it didn't matter though.
Go ahead, Joe, what you want to ask Joe?
Hey, Joe, honestly, Joe, you shouldn't really say foot or ball
the rest of the way.
I hadn't, I hadn't fed it.
I hadn't said, I had, I had, I respect the game.
I respect the game.
I know you are on here feeling good tonight.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Don't give me.
Don't give me there.
Because see, you try to play anything.
I know both of y'all came on here feeling good.
It's okay.
It's okay.
Hey, you're fun, how you fun, okay?
How are you fun?
Hold on, hold on, Joe.
You were the one, you were popping at all.
I was, I was big popping.
I'm still popping it.
And I'm still popping.
What's that now?
No, you can't pop.
You, I mean, you, you,
you ain't, hey, we the cowboy, we the boy.
You, we, I still popping in, oh, Joe.
I still popping it, oh, Joe, we're good.
Hey, Dr. Franklin, you know, I expect,
hey, I expect to see you.
Dr. Franklin, you don't got Joe all gasped up.
Joe's talking about, oh yeah, Dr.
Dr. Franklin, know what time it is.
Oh, man.
Hold on, hey, Joe, a, listen, a chat, chat.
I know y'all listening, right?
This is the scary part.
There's a good chance y'all start, start out the gate.
Come on, bro, chill.
Come on, come on, man.
Wait a minute, Joe, look at the schedule.
You know who y'all play next?
Who we got next?
The Camander's, right?
Oh, we got them at the crib.
Our next two games at home, bro, we good?
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Y'all play, y'all play the Ravens in Brazil.
in Brazil.
Ooh.
Yeah. Hopefully, hopefully, hopefully, uh, uh, the Ravens go over there a day before,
just like, uh, just like, just like the Rams did.
Yeah.
Y'all stay all the way.
Go over there day before.
It's okay.
Y'all need to go over there by two weeks before and go to Christ the Redeemer.
Come on that big old Christ life figured and you got to stand up in Brazil and pray to it.
Yeah.
All day and night.
Oh, you got a cheer.
The dang here we don't rush for three.
Dang here it might break the Russia record on y'all.
Ain't no way.
Hey, hey, you see, did you see,
when we get to that game in the minute,
did you see Derek?
You see him hop through the hole
and take off of him,
that's what you're talking about it.
You saw him hop through the hole?
I say, come on, man.
That's a 250-pound man.
Hop through the hole,
put his foot in the dirt,
and took off on him.
Hey, Joe, if y'all couldn't stop
Singletarian, Scott,
but what y'all would do with,
then you say by game three, four,
that the team started
to get into a little rhythm?
No, no, no, Joe.
Listen, listen.
I said offensively.
Our defense is going to catch up, too.
Defense is easier when you first start off the season.
All you got to do is read and react.
Ocho.
Oh, Cho.
Oh, Joe, look at this schedule.
They got the Giants, Washington, Baltimore, Houston, Tampa, Green Bay, Philly.
The first week, seven weeks.
Man, we're not scared of nothing on the team, man.
Yo, it ain't about you being scared, Joe.
You're not the one on the field.
So I'm sure you're going to be confident.
You think they did.
You think what you think they did?
When you think the Cal, man, please.
Hey, Joe, you're going to get every team's best because you're the Cowboys, right?
There's a good chance.
Y'all start on six.
Man, you got a chill, Ocho.
All we need, we get us a win at the crib, get us a little momentum.
Then we'll go on to, uh, where are we going to pan somewhere and whoop on Baltimore?
Brazil, man.
Brazil, we ain't tripping.
Rio de Janeiro.
But yeah, this one hurt.
This one's, I ain't going to lie to you.
This will stay in the night, fellas.
Y'all, yeah, for sure.
I know it.
I told you the Giants were going to beat you.
You ain't want to listen to me.
First out, Malik neighbor wasn't even supposed to be playing.
Why?
Why?
Hey, hold on.
He on the team.
What you mean he was supposed to be playing?
Man ain't fully healthy, man.
He needed about another week or two before he really,
for he really feel like, you know.
Hold on.
Hey, what was Malik neighbors at night?
And he wasn't fully healthy.
And he did that too.
Yeah, he had like six for 67.
Ooh, imagine if he was fully healthy, Joe.
Hey, we got some stuff we got to tune up.
It's okay, fellas.
Hey, that car, I don't know if that car gonna work.
You might need to get you a new car.
I see, look, look, look.
Both y'all on him feeling real good tonight.
Oh, look at, no, no, no.
No, I don't want to hear it.
I don't want to y'all, look.
Hey, hey, uncle, I'm facing my feelings and my excitement
based on what Joe said to me the past two weeks
about what the cowboy was going to do.
Defense, hey.
He said everything I said was in the past.
So they played the day and it seemed like nothing is changed.
Hey, Ocho, what do you tell us?
We're picking up fantasy.
Hey, let me grab that cowboy defense.
Let me go on to get that.
Hey, hey, hold on.
Hold on.
We wasn't bad.
That first half, we wasn't bad.
Momentum change on.
Go ahead.
The momentum changed on it in that second half.
And we got tired.
How long was our defense out on the field?
Hell, they offered us.
30 minutes.
Man, come on, man.
And they took a niche.
Just imagine that it just kept bludging in y'all.
Oh, chill.
Blu-blu.
That's tough.
That's tough.
You know how you rolled over something?
I got out here.
Scataboo, like, what I run over back there?
Scataboo, look behind him?
Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Hey, listen, chat, I'm going to keep it 100.
That boy, Scataboo putting their head down.
That boy making some noise out there.
I ain't going to lie.
Hey, the Giants look good tonight.
I ain't going to lie.
Oh, Joe.
And the reason why they said the punt,
they grabbed on 3.
on third and short, he grabs Scataboo face mass
and bust his nose and the refisher didn't call it.
Man, he barely touched.
That's this football, come on,
man, let him get him.
Come on, man, this football is by here,
a ass didn't hit him and it's okay.
So you ain't see the blood, Joe?
It was a good, it was.
It was a good little, yeah, I mean, it's okay though.
If that was boxing, that'd have been a great,
that's a Ryan Garcia point.
But in football, you can't do that.
Hey, damn, y'all got to command us next, Joe.
You've heard the chaos.
Now you can see it.

We're talking iconic moments in broadcast history.

And this is Big Lives.
Listen to Big Lives on the IHeart Radio
app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you
get podcasts. They got the commanders,
Baltimore, Houston, Tampa,
Green Bay, Philly.
It don't look like Arizona, no punk,
either. No, not the way they
played today. But Jacoby
reset, hey, you know what? Hey, Joe,
there's a good chance y'all start
16, man. You got a chill. We don't
week one man you're on our time I'm starting off oh and four and oh and see damn can we talk
about this week we had a bad week okay more okay okay okay more bad we had a bad week
man please uh the rabo defeated the coast by the score of 41 to 23 Lamar jackson
and king hit well I'm kicking myself and ass not taking Lamar damn
Derek Henry have a legendary day a hundred and forty four rush yards three touchdown he's
now third all time with a hundred and twenty four
touchdown he passed Marcus Allen the most rush touchdown in NFL history he says
third on the list he's uh 40 touchdowns behind Emmett for number one he's 21
touchdowns behind ladenian Thomason for number two he was uh oh yeah I don't know I don't
know if he can get to 41 but I know he I know damn well he could get the 40 he could get
the 146.
The way he's playing, though, in three years,
he averages like, he averages like 14, 16 touchdowns of the season, Joe,
Ocho.
So I don't put it, no, I don't put nothing past him because the back,
back his size with the kind of collision that's on his body,
should not be doing what he's doing this late in his career.
His late in his career, yeah, absolutely.
And matter of fact, this is the funny thing about it.
Not only is he, not only is he doing what he's doing this late in his career,
he's on the right team.
He's on the right team in the right scheme
with the right coaching
to be able to pull it off
for another three years.
He's on the reason
or he's in the right place
and the right situation
and I'm hoping the Ravens allow him
to continue to flourish in that system
so he can reach some of those records.
But hey, I got one more for you talking, Joe.
What did you see?
Loz-Zay flowers a day.
Joe, Ocho, he tweaked his hammy.
But before,
but before he tweaked it.
That's why he didn't come out.
That's why he had that five for a buck 50 in the first half.
That's why he did come back.
And he had a come out.
Hey, listen, what I told you about week one,
not planning the preseason and you come out week one,
you go from zero to 100.
Hammonds.
I've been telling you an uncle that the whole time,
like, man, how do you do,
how do you're going to get on the freeway,
put that thing at 120 mile power in hell.
You ain't been through the neighborhood yet.
Come on, man.
Engine ain't warm, man.
You got to have the engine warm.
Come on.
It don't make no sense.
Hey, Jacoby Lane is out too.
I think he broke his wrist.
Yeah.
Come on, man.
But about to.
Listen, and this is coming from a, this is coming from a Bangal fan.
Like, I like the way the Ravens look today.
This is what we expected them offensively.
They picking up where they left off last year.
They picking up where they left off last year.
Defensively, they was okay on defense.
They was okay.
And I'm sure at some point the coach would pick up
where they left off last year before Dan Jones got hurt
because they was rolling.
Rolling last year too.
Uh, Jonathan Taylor ran the ball.
The problem.
Lamar was 17 or 25, 324, took some snaps under center.
Now you can't get no key.
I might hand it off.
I might drop back and throw it on y'all ass.
Derek hit him with 24 carries a buck 44, three touchdown.
Lamar Jackson, seven for 40 and a touchdown.
Justice Hill, six for 18, 37 rush attempts,
202 yards.
Lamar Jackson, another 324 yards passing.
Over 500 yards of total offense.
That is the Ravens.
That's what they should.
That's Shacking.
They Shacking Kobe.
Ooh.
They Shack and Kobe.
That's a great comparison.
Hey, hey.
I would say myself, I would say mic and up pippin.
Hell, LeBron and D. Wave.
But see, the thing is you got that big bruiser.
See, they have nobody that physical like Shack.
They're here with Shack.
Man, and Lamar slicing them up, slicing them up.
slicing the move up.
Shack, I got, shak, shak, shak.
23 first down for the Ravens.
And they weren't that great on third down.
No.
But they looked scary.
But Lamar, boy, Lamar was, whew, was Deelan, dealing, dealing, dealing.
Hey, the scary thing about Lamar, Uncle Joe,
is when he came out, he scared everybody because of his legs.
What he could do with his legs?
And the fact that he plays the quarterback position
where now he's a past first quarterback.
I'm going to go through my reeds.
I'm going to go through my one, my two, my three.
You know what?
If it ain't there, I'm not even going to run yet.
I'm going to tuck it.
I'm going to scramble and escape the pocket and use my legs
and see if anybody can open up for me
before I decide to take off a run.
And when you take off a run, man, you might well pray.
You're so afraid.
You might well pray.
Because if you give him a crease, Uncle Joe,
it's good night I ring.
And then they added, adding Zay flowers,
it just opens up that,
that, that, that, that, that,
of passing game, bro.
I mean, if Lamar going to be fishing like he was today
and making plays and Derek Henry being there, Henry,
but if you go back and look over the last three to four years,
he's been efficient like this here.
He's had games like this where he's basically been perfect.
And he's had games like this.
And now that you get, I don't know what,
I still don't know what Tennessee was thinking by cutting Derek Henry.
I still don't know.
I know even less why the Cowboys didn't call that man
and offer that man something,
considering he got a place in Dallas,
and I know Javante Williams as well,
Javonte Williams ain't that kid.
Yeah, but hold on, it's a good thing.
It's a good thing.
It's a good thing they did.
It's a good thing he went.
It's a good thing he went to Baltimore.
Why you say that?
He got the man for one year deal
for $8 million, Ocho?
Yeah, it's Jerry.
You know how Jerry thinks
well, hell if Tennessee let him go?
You think we're going to keep the tide
and see what we can do with us?
Just because he has a home here?
No, absolutely not.
I'm not doing that.
I want to do things my way.
And that's exactly what he does.
So sometimes Jerry misses out on good things.
And y'all know they don't value the running back like that no more.
I don't care who it is back there.
They don't value it like that.
I don't,
I think it's going to take him two years,
Ocho.
I don't see him getting 20 rush touchdowns this year,
but I think in two years,
he's going to need a good solid four years to pass to catch him in.
They'll give it to him.
Hey, long as he doesn't get hurt, they'll give it to him.
I don't see him slowing down anytime soon.
Not the way he takes care of his body, not the way he trains in offseason,
not the way he stays healthy in season.
And most of the time, he doesn't take unnecessary punishment unless he has to.
Yeah.
And hell, don't nobody want to hit him anyway.
I damn sure don't want to hit him now.
He's fresh.
And I damn, let me, let me, let me catch him like week seven, week eight.
before he get to the cold,
because if we're going to get cold,
I'm going to get cold.
I'm trying to hit him either.
No, sir.
So I got, I will let him like week, week seven, week eight,
probably like third week of October.
Yeah.
After that.
But no, he, they look really impressive today.
They look really impressive today.
They control over 35 minutes time of possession.
When you run the ball like that,
when you got 200 something yards,
you're going to have 30 plus minutes time of it,
35. I'm surprised they didn't have a little bit more time of possession. But when you got
Derek Henry hitting his head on the goalpost, you get Zayflowers going, quick strikes like that.
That's what happens. But when you grind it out, man, they look good. The Ravens look really,
really good. And I don't want to get too excited. There are a couple of teams I got really excited
about. We're going to talk about the Bears. The Bears' office looks scary. Good Lord of mercy.
Hey, but that's expected. That's expected. And I'm not talking about because it's the Bears.
It's expected because when you have a talent,
you know, I'm a way to get to that game.
I'm waiting to get that game.
What?
Hey, but you know who didn't look good today
and didn't impress me at all?
The cowboy.
Oh, man.
Come on.
Come on, man.
All right, damn.
Come on.
This is what we on tonight, huh?
Ocho, Ocho.
Who said when we were in the hospitality suite?
Boy, y'all are going to want to come on there tomorrow.
I promise you.
Joe.
I love a damn, Joe.
Let us enjoy the fight.
I said, well, dang.
Hey, oh, um, but, hey,
hey, the cowboy's gonna put a mean demonstration
that was a little jazz tomorrow.
Hey, it's tough, boy.
Hey, hey, hey, Joe, I got some,
I got some, let me tell you,
I got something make you feel a little better.
What the avocado said to the nacho, Joe?
What did the avocado?
What did the avocado say to the nacho?
What did the avocado say to the nach?
What the avocado said to the nachos?
What?
We got beef?
Nah, I keep that guac on me.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Oh.
See, I made you laugh.
Now you got your love.
No, he ain't going to forget that.
He got to sleep with that.
Look, look.
Yeah, you ain't going to let me forget it.
I'll let you, I mean, hey, look here, man.
We're talking about King here.
And we ain't gonna talk about them cowboy.
If your team did win today, you get no love.
But Derek Henry with a hundred and twenty four rushing touchdown,
144, three touchdowns on 24 carries.
Man.
That boy, he just won't it?
Yes.
But the play Ocho was talking about,
I don't know if you guys saw it, chat,
where he hopped through the hole.
That's a 250 pound man, a six foot three,
250 pound man.
Hop through the hole like a Bijon would do.
Like a Jamir Gibbs would do.
Like a Christian McCaffrey,
guys that are 40, 50 pounds lighter than he is.
Hop through the hole.
Put his foot in the dirt.
See you.
You know, wouldn't want to be.
Yeah, man.
Damn, Joe.
It's cool, though, Joe.
Y'all gonna be.
Man, we're talking about dead hearing, man.
Oh, my bad.
Damn.
My bad, Joe.
Yeah, they look scary, though.
The Ravens looked scared today.
But I thought the coach was going to come out a little better than what they looked.
They didn't do too much.
I mean, other than Jonathan Taylor running the football.
And he can run the football.
We know what he is.
I mean, there's a reason why they pay him the money they pay him.
There's a reason why he's been an all-pro.
There's been a multiple-time pro-bo player.
Yes, he has that kind of ability.
They defense.
Alex, four for 61, Josh Downs, two for 37.
Keenan-Elland-A-Lad has six for 32.
Jonathan Taylor, three for 23.
Daniel Jones was 19 to 31, 166, one touchdown, one in a session.
They had over five yards of average five yards of carry.
Jonathan Taylor had 19 for 98, two touches.
Running it.
I might have to scoop him, but I kind of like my running back.
You know I had, I started Derek Henry today, Ocho.
You know that right.
He did.
Andy Andre Swift from Bears.
Hold on.
Who did I play today?
I don't know, but your teammate probably ain't do too good.
Then he redeemed some justice.
He gave, he put some points on the boy for you.
Who did he?
Both of my guys had three rush touchdowns over a hundred yards.
Damn.
And I had Kincaid.
I started Kincaid too.
Tide in front of the Buffalo Bills.
Okay.
Okay.
I think I put BTA to Stevie though.
As long as he ain't half.
What's that up there?
I can't see it.
Oh, man.

Oh, I lost.
What you mean?
Like, Joe, Ojo, you hear, man, take that damn surprise at your voice.
What?
Go damn where you lost.
Where I'm at?
I can't see.
Put that on my iPad, Ash.
Yeah, man.
She did. She molly watched you.
She molly watched you.
Nah, I don't know about Molly Rock.
Oh, did a number, though.
Ain't he whoops, Steve.
Hey, man, I had Derek here with D'Hondry Swift.
Hold on, I must got some old players playing tomorrow.
Who play tomorrow?
Shoot.
Who play Broncos?
Broncos play Kansas City.
Oh, hey, Joe, hey, Joe.
What?
A Joe.
Don't trip.
You'll be able to get him back tomorrow night, boy.
You'll be able to get him back tomorrow night.
Huh?
Because you know, they ain't fin to beat the chief.
I don't know that.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Oh, they, they, they,
you know, I ain't gonna say no.
He, he, he, he, he,
what if my team, what if my team,
we beat for the AMC championship?
He flocked up now, look at him, flop, flop,
flot, look.
Hey.
We, we'll see tomorrow.
Man, Ojo, you be,
O Ketrain'i Tipito.
Boy, Ocho, man, what's you gonna put him
beat the brakes off you?
Who?
Ash,
come about who?
Hey, you know what it was?
Oh, man.
Hey, I had Uno,
Uno, then, Uno had a quiet day.
Boy, Mike put BTA to, uh, what's the call him.
Hold on.
Mike got,
Mike got, who might got,
Bijon or Jamir?
He got Jamir Gilles.
Oh, and I had, what you call him, Ocho?
Who he had?
Oh, me Rosset Brown.
Hey, he went crazy.
He went crazy today.
He had two touchdown together.
Damn.
Oh, Derek Henry gave me 35 points.
D. Swift gave me 32 points.
Auburn Ross St. Brown gave me 28 points.
Damn.
Leak neighbors gave me 12, gave me 13 points.
Kincaid gave me 18 points.
Michael Wilson gave me, oh, man.
Brandon Aubrey gave me two points.
I might have to cut you.
Hey, hey, listen, don't let nobody go.
go too soon that.
Only week one, don't do.
But I tell you what?
What?
Other than his buy week,
Derek ain't coming out
to start lineup.
Yeah.
I got it.
Hey, you know who's going to go crazy
for me next week?
Uno.
Yeah, he owe you.
Hey, listen.
Hey, he had two for 12?
Yeah.
Man, listen.
I know, I know Burrow had to calm him down all day during the day.
He ain't do too bad, though.
Stevie.
Stevie was a.
Mike had 187.
Wait, who had 187?
Mike.
Which, what's my?
I still got some,
the producer, Mike.
Oh, 1806 points.
Yeah, I must still, I got to have another player.
Ain't no way.
I'm the lowest scoring guy on here now.
Yes, you are.
And with that defense and with that Prescott.
Oh, yeah.
Who are your receivers, Joe?
Nico Collins, uh, uh, uh, puka.
Well, you already know,
Puga ain't do too much.
I know.
No.
They didn't play it already.
Don't worry about it.
No way.
I'm, you know,
sometimes you let you let everybody else get out on you first
and just walk them down like a track meet.
That's all.
He bids Trevor Lawrence on Joe.
He had Trevor Lars and he bids Trevor Lawrence to start that.
Hey, did you realize they was playing Cleveland today?
I did.
I did.
That's why I ain't,
that's why I ain't have Fannie in my life.
line up and I had likely in my lineup.
But you should have,
you should have benched back and put Trevor.
Come on, man. Trevor had a great day.
Yeah, come on.
Joe.
Joe, hey, you got to start.
You stop thinking with your heart, man.
Start thinking with your mind, Joe.
Plus, you got to think about,
I ain't give you no tip.
I ain't going to give you no tip.
I'll save it until after we play you.
After me and you.
Did I tell you what you do it wrong?
But until it is, nah, hell,
nah.
Hell, nah.
The Bears defeat the Panthers.
5937.
Ocho, nobody played defense,
but Caleb Williams was sensational.
21 of 29, 269, two touchdowns.
He took off rushing today.
He rushed for 65 yards and another two touchdowns.
Both de-coronators, boy, y'all got to do better than this.
The Bears had 552 yards of offense.
The Panthers had 478 yards of total offense.
DeAndre Swift, 124-yard.
Three touchdowns.
My other starting running back.
Kyle Montague had 100 yards of a touchdown.
Bryce Young was 23 of 37, 361, three touchdown.
Jaylon Coker, Ash benched him.
Ash had Jalen Coker.
She bitched.
Eight reception with 138 yards and two touchdown.
Hey, let me tell you something.
If there was any indecision or any indecision
or in the indecisiveness
and who the quarterback of the future is
for the Carolina Panthers.
Bryce Young
made a statement today.
He made a statement today.
I know they lost the game,
but 23 for 37,
three TDs.
Obviously, he had an interception,
but 361,
man, he's the man for your team.
He's the franchise quarterback
for the future.
Even though they lost,
he looked good today.
Jalen Coco was doing his thing.
No other receivers really stepped up
to, you know,
to contribute.
the way they should.
But that goddamn
Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson.
Ben Johnson says he wants to
break the score record.
Damn.
That's the game's going to be about
38 points a game.
They off to a great start.
Man, look,
because if you Carolina
on an Ocho here, you put up 37 points,
you feel like you got a great jazz to win.
You're supposed to win.
Yo, you put up 20, you put up 21, you're supposed to win.
Hey, my question is,
hold on, is Chicago this great, though,
or is...
They loaded off.
Offensively.
Hold on, hold on, but 50, 60 points,
okay, Ocho, the Panthers defense can't be
that damn good here.
They gave them 60 points.
No, no, no, no, no.
They're not.
But this was the highest scoring week once since 1970.
A lot of people scored a bunch of points.
Look at Buffalo and Houston.
Look at Tampa Bay and Cincinnati.
Yeah.
The Ravens scored 41.
Yeah, the high scores.
So you got to go back, you're going to give back 50 plus almost 60 years.
We're going to open a weekend that was this high score.
But this is what they wanted in the NFL.
This is what they want.
They want high scoring.
They want this pace.
This is why the rule changes have played a huge part in this.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hey, listen, you put, I don't know who the comparison using basketball term would be unk.
You could probably help me out this.
but the creative mind,
the creative genius
and Ben Johnson when it comes to
calling plays and having
a skill set of Caleb Williams
over there who can do just about anything you want to do
offensively.
Boy, they're going to pick up right where they left off last year.
This was a scoreigami game, which means
this was the 1,096 time
that we've had a unique score.
This is the first time in NFL history.
We've had a 59-37 ball game.
Mm.
Hmm.
Damn.
That's high scoring,
though.
Hell, yeah.
Hey,
you got 96 points.
You got 96 points between the two teams.
Yeah, that's a high score game.
Damn, Ocho, you ain't got no lights in there?
That boy,
that boy blend in, don't he?
You can't see it?
No.
We can see that.
Hey, we can see that tank top of that chain you got on.
You see me now?
Yeah, but you, uh, you blustery.
Hey, hey, uncle, you calling me dark?
Nah, man, I mean, you can leave drinking a crystal charcoal.
Yeah, I'm in the garage smoking because I can't smoke in the house.
Cambodia won't let you smoke in the house?
Nah, I can't smoke in that, um, man, you know, I got all that white furniture, man.
You know, I got, and the kids in there, they sleep, they got school in the morning.
Yeah
Hey
Hey, hey, Uncle Joe
I've been home
I landed
I landed at home
What time y'all got home?
I got home about
Like five
I mean I landed
I landed at 2 o'clock
I've been home watching football all day
Man at my flight
My flight at 5 o'clock in the morning
I got home
last night probably about 915
Yeah
I got home last night probably about 915.
I got to shoot to New York, man, for about three days.
This is impressive.
I mean, this is impressive.
What the Bears did today, that was extremely impressive.
I agree.
Barry.
I mean, I don't know if you can play any cleaner than what they played.
You know, I, 21 of 29, 269, two touchdowns, two guys over 100 yards rushing.
They rushed for 291.
They were 10 or 14 on third down.
We're down.
Yeah, I was just going to say that.
In the red zone, look what it was in the red zone, though.
Hey, Ocho, what you call it was five or seven?
Who was that?
The Carolina?
In the red zone?
The Panthers?
Yes.
No, both were four and four in red zone.
Both were four and four in red zone.
But the penalties killed Ocho.
One team was 12 penalties.
The other team had 11 penalties.
Yeah.
Imagine you take those penalties away.
You probably would have had.
you probably would have had another,
another probably somewhere between 10 and 13 points
combined between the two teams.
Hey, but that's expected though.
All them penalties is expected week one,
okay, Ocho.
Yeah.
You know, these teams.
The thing is Joe, the problem,
this is what I say, this is why I believe
you should play the last game.
Because if you don't play the last game,
there's a two week, you got, you are for two weeks.
Yeah.
You're not playing no meaningful football for two weeks.
Yeah.
It used to be we took Ocho, you know,
we didn't play the last game.
but we were playing the following week.
They cut the last game out.
They added to the back end.
Now you're going two weeks without playing.
It reminds you,
you hadn't played in the free season yet.
Hello.
Hello.
I don't know how they do that.
I don't know how to do it either, Joe.
Well, that's why we're going to continue to have all these penalties,
you know, like we have in week one
because guys hadn't been playing.
Okay, oh, Cho, that popcorn popping.
Look, guys itching for an inching to hit somebody, huh?
And that's probably why you have it.
Mr. Simon, Socho, because there's some things you just can't coach on the chalkboard.
You got to get your ass out there on the field and play it.
You got to see it.
Yep.
You got to see it.
You got to anticipate.
And they're not listening to us, Ocho.
As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised in the next two to three years.
They cut another preseason game and add 18 and add another game to the regular season.
Hey, whatever, and you know what it's coming down to.
If it make more money, it makes sense to them.
It does.
You already know it.
The bills defeat the Texas by the score of 3631.
This game was a shootout.
Josh Allen already in MVP forms, Joe.
20 or 29, 334, two touchdowns.
Also had two Russian touchdowns.
DJ Moore in his bill's debut.
Five catches, 100 yards, a touchdown.
C.J. Stride was 26 of 38, 274, two TDs,
a costly fourth quarter turnover in the red zone.
Ocho, he just got, he got to take care of the football.
Oh, man.
Yeah.
Hey, he had a two uncle when he were trying to step up in the pocket.
He had both hands on it.
But I don't remember who the defender was.
They got a whole love.
He got a whole love.
He got him good.
He got him good.
He was trying to make it.
His eyes was doing everything.
But, hey, that was unfortunate.
He lost that one.
He lost two fumbles, oh, Joe?
Yeah.
And you know, when you play in Buffalo,
man, you can't give Josh Allen that many cracks at you.
No, no, no.
Absolutely not.
And you give him to, one of them two, he's going to go to score one.
He's going to hurt you.
We don't saw the man.
He didn't have had the shootouts with my home boys.
They going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth.
There was no doubt in my mind that they were going to go out of there get a touchdown.
With three minutes, huh?
With the three minutes left, you had no doubt in your mind?
None, none.
Because he, he and Lamar Jackson are probably the most two difficult players to
defense in the two minutes because of their legs.
Yeah.
They can beat you with their arm, but they damn, they just scared to live a daylight sight
you with the leg.
And he's a big man, six six, two fifty five.
And once he get ahead of Steve and he starts getting the ball in one hand, he pumped faking
you, you're worried about whether, but he might throw this ball.
And now all of a sudden you jump up in there and now he running down the sideline who
you're in the middle of your field, stress your defense.
And even if you try to, even if you try to put a spy on Lamar, even you try to put a spy,
they still going to have advantage anyway
because there's nobody you have defensively
that can actually stop them in open space
or in the open field.
Hey, but this what separates Josh Allen,
Uncle Ocho, 96 yards, three minutes ago.
Everybody in the stadium know who's going to have a ball.
Yep.
And you go down there and deliver on it.
Look, you on the road.
Hey, man, that's what elite quarterbacks do.
And you can have a manageable quarterback
And you can have a quarterback who you can who can win games for you and Josh Allen did that today, bro.
He did it.
He did that.
Don't Kencaid five catches for 130 yards.
My little tidy.
That's my tie in, oh, you got you got Kincaid too.
Hey, this is the thing when it comes to Buffalo,
Kincaid to have a day to day.
then he'd have a game where he don't do none
and James Cook go crazy.
Well, it seemed like
there was like tuned up to stop James Cook.
I mean, he's 13 or 57,
but
Josh Allen is the guy you got to worry about.
Yep.
Yeah.
He touching the ball every time.
And with them legs, man,
when he's throwing the ball 20 or 29 for 334,
two touches?
He had it going.
Hey, Ocho, where your man's was at today?
The receiver,
for Buffalo. I ain't see him out there.
Oh, Keon Coleman?
He caught one for one. I'm just trying to figure out
on the two-parking version, why are you going to
him against the Stingley? The height advantage,
you got the Keon Coleman 6-4, damn this, 6-5.
Against Stingley.
I know, I know, but, you know, Stingley kind of short, though.
I get Stingley.
I'm with you, when you're right. But, you know, the coaches
ain't think about that. They just think about the height
the height
discrepancy. Okay.
That's all. Hey, but Stingley
good, boy, man to man, boy.
That's his thing. Exactly.
But Josh Allen, when he's playing
like this, they're going to be awful difficult to beat.
DJ Moore's like, whoo.
I kind of liked it. He's like, he liked
where it was because it's not like Caleb
Williams, going to get about 65, 70 million,
Joe. He keep playing like he's playing right now.
He is the guy that's going to reset the market.
Yeah. I told you,
Joe, I told you that.
If there was one, there's no discussion.
They're going to give them the check.
They're going to give them the check blank, Joe.
They're going to give them the check blank.
What, what you want?
And it's after the season, right?
Man, please.
Won't be nothing to talk about it at all.
Y'all got to try out of Chicago, huh?
No, they look good, Joe.
Yeah, they look good.
They look good.
And based on what they did last year,
so last year, they were a year early.
We didn't expect, we expected last year what they did last year.
we expected that this year.
So we got even our expectations this year based on what they did last year.
They got a year up under their belt in this system.
That quarterback in this system and when that guy calling plays,
it's like, you know what?
It's like a Mahal boy and Andy Reed.
The first year, they get to the AMC championship game.
They get knocked out by,
get knocked out by New England.
Yeah.
We were expecting that in the second year.
So there was no doubt in anybody's mind.
oh, hold on, my home boy first year starting, he's the MVP?
Oh, this is foreshadowing of things to come and what do they do.
Right.
They're out with the Super Bowl the next year.
They got a good chance, boy, as long as that defense hold together.
That's it.
They got to get better on defense now.
Because I think I shouldn't say,
shouldn't say they're going to run into better defenses than Carolina.
Carolina ain't no slouch.
No.
They can run the ball with Chuba Hubbard.
They got the wire receivers or Coker, uh, uh, McMillan.
Yeah.
Telaroa.
Yeah.
So they look good, man.
Chicago play Buffalo this year.
I'm trying, hey, I'm trying to see a 50-50 ball game.
You know, you know they're going to have a shootout.
Hmm.
I think the problem that I have, see, and this is why I didn't take the Texas defense,
It's hard to back up defenses with another great year defense statistically.
Yeah.
Right.
You don't, I think they'll be able to, huh?
Oh, but they still got all the same.
Ooh, they play in December, Joe.
Damn, that's a long time.
They're not going to be cold as I don't know what.
What's called Buffalo got a dome, though, don't they ask?
Yeah, they got indoors.
I think it is.
I know.
Yeah,
Buffalo,
but they,
they,
they,
they, uh,
it's a don't,
it's a retractable,
but it's not covered.
It's retractable,
it,
don't show.
I'm not,
I'm not sure.
I don't know if they did it,
it is.
But,
TJ,
I would,
if I could give CJ any advice,
bro,
you,
it's moments like this
that you,
that you,
that you,
that you,
that you,
that you,
that you make the name for yourself.
Yeah.
It's,
it's moments like this,
in games like this,
that's when you got to have it.
We can't,
Man, you play great.
Yeah, you had 274, 26 and 38, 274.
The turnover, bro.
You can't turn the ball over against this team.
You can't.
They're too good.
Okay.
Just let it be cool.
It can be cold, but just don't let no precipitation.
Don't let it be raining anything crazy.
Yeah.
Man, the Buffalo first win in Houston since about 2006.
Yeah.
Come on, man.
Yeah, all I heard was Uncle Ocho,
howling about, raving about their defense that Houston got?
Man, Josh Allen called them boys up today.
That is, Josh Allen.
He don't do that to a lot of defense.
Matter of fact, no, damn, every defense.
Hey, Ojo, don't be, hey, guess what?
We'll be talking about him next week.
You're going to call somebody else up too?
No, but he was, he was, DJ Moore was great.
The receivers were doing what this was.
Hey, that dark did he hit, uh, uh, Joshua Palmer with that 34 yard and split it.
Oh.
Now, he, he had a nice little rhythm going.
He did.
He had a nice rhythm.
So, bells win, 3631 over the Houston, Texas.
Josh Allen is an MVP form early this year.
20 of 29, 334 yards, two passing touchdowns.
Another six carries for 233 yards.
and two more rushing touchdowns.
And they go on the road and went in Houston
by the score of 36 to 31.
