So I'm assuming this is a power outage somewhere. But anyway, I'm going to continue with our normally scheduled programming. The Mavs beat the Thunder in game two. Luka Doncic, 29 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists. If I'm not mistaken, I think P.J. Washington also had a career high with 29 points. And in the third quarter, Tim Hardaway Jr. came off the bench, hit several threes to kind of break the game open,

and they cruised from there. Luka was – what was Luka? 29 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, three steals, 52% from the floor, five of eight from three,

Tim Hardaway Jr. He came in off the bench, 17 points, 60% field goal in just 19 minutes. And that was the difference in the ball game. P.J. Washington had 29 points, 11 rebounds,

seven made threes. First player with 10 plus rebounds seven made three than the playoff grains since steph did it in the nba finals and that was what they really need because shea gill just had an unbelievable game also almost had a triple double but the map but the maps go on the road and take home court away from the okc thunder uh winning game two. Yeah. And a very hardball ball game. Ocho, you watched this ball game.

What did you like about what you saw? First off, the head of the snake. The head of the snake hadn't been playing well. Kyrie had been playing well. Can you hear me? Okay, okay. The head of the snake, as I like to call it. You know, your two-headed monster in Kyrie and Luka. Luka hasn't been shooting well.

He didn't shoot well last game, but he came in this game and he started off hot. He started off fire. He caught himself into a rhythm. And obviously, Kyrie did what Kyrie did. But the emergence of P.J. Washington, P.J. Washington having the game that he had, I think made the difference. And the bench points that Tim Hardaway Jr. was able to provide is why I think they ran away with this game.

And I think it was, maybe it was about the third quarter where they kind of pulled away from it. Yeah, they kind of pulled away with everything. But that goddamn Shea Gilders Alexander, man. Unk, man. Another 30-point night. Yep. 13-24. One for man. Another 30-point night. Yep.

13-24, one for three from the three-point line. No, another 30-point night. Yeah, yeah. But here you got P.J. Washington that was 11-18 from the floor in 40 minutes before he plowed out. 7-11 from the three-point line, 11 rebounds. You had Luka. He gave you 11-22 from the floor in 40 minutes before he plowed out. 7 of 11 from the three-point line, 11 rebounds. You had Luka. He gave you 11 of 22 from the floor, 5 of 8 from the three-point line,

10 rebounds. They went 18 to 37 from the three-point line. They outshot OKC from the three-point line, which was 10 of 18. So, in other words, they're plus 24 from the three-point line, and that really was the difference in the ball game. The rebounding was close, but the difference in the ball game was the three-point shot. And that's normally how it goes. We're going to talk about the Celtics and the Cavaliers.

And you see when the Celtics struggle from the three-point line, they struggle. But this was a game that Luka, if you watched Luka early and if you noticed early, he came out looking for his shot. He's like, I'm looking for him. He's the type of player, and most of these great players are, if they see a couple of those early shots go in, you got hell on your hands because you got to hug up on him because you're worried about him shooting the three, and then he has the ability to put the ball on the floor and go by you and finish at the rim.

Not dunking the ball, but he has tremendous English. Plus, he got the ability to put the ball on the floor right and go by you and finish at the rim not not dunking the ball but he has tremendous english plus he got the mid-range he got the float game so he has a a bag he has an array of shots that he can pull out of his bag and make you pay but he got it going early pj got it going early but it was tim hardaway jr in that third quarter that really gave them the separation that they needed. And every time they would make a run, OKC would make a run, Ocho, Tim Hardaway Jr. would hit a big three-point shot. They almost had to lose ball. He gets it.

Lou Dort tries to get it from him. He fakes it like he's going to pass it to Luka. And as the shot clock's running down, he cans a three in the corner. And from that point on, they really I think the closest they got it after that point was maybe eight points. They seemed to have really never struggled from that point on. But give the Mavericks credit. They showed you something.

That is a very tough building to play in. That's a young team. They feed off the crowd. And every time the Thunder made a run and got the crowd back in it, Luka, P.J. Washington, somebody made a big shot. thunder made a run and got the crowd back in it luca pj washington somebody made a big shot somebody made a big play to suppress the run and and stymie and so now they go back one one that's all you can hope for you go on the road yeah you'd like to win two but if we can get

one and steal home court now we get to go home for two let's see if we can go back to okc up three one but give okc thunder credit now they're not going to go away like they're not get to go home for two. Let's see if we can go back to OKC up 3-1. But give OKC credit. Now, they're not going to go away like me. They're not going to go away. There's a reason why they had the number one seed. There's a reason why Shea Gill just all year long was in the MVP discussion. And, you know, they got Jamal Williams. They got the Williams boys that can make shots.

But give the Mavs credit for going on the road. But I'm not here to count the OKC out because I don't believe they're going to go down without a fight. I still believe this is going to be a long series. I think what OKC has to do is they have to find the consistency in their players. You already know what you're going to get from Shai. If we can get Williams, Holmgren, I mean

Shea, I'm sorry. If we can get Williams, if we get Williams, Giddey, and Holmgren on the same page of consistency night in and night out. When they're playing, I think it can make this series much tougher as opposed to, because you already know, Luka and Kyrie are going to do what they do. So you have to match wits with their two-headed monster or three,

depending on what Tim Hardaway Jr. is coming off the bench or depending on how P.J. Washington is playing, you need your three to play just as well as theirs is to make the series very interesting and not just Shea, Gil, just leading the way all the way.

Somebody has to take that pressure off him. Well, when you get... Because here's the thing. Kyrie didn't play particularly well last night tonight and he didn't really need to because PJ picked up the slack so the points that PJ gave you right is what Kyrie would normally give you but so when you get PJ giving you 29 you got 13 from Daniel Gafford Kyrie only gave you nine points but then you get Tim Hardaway Jr. coming off the bench giving you 17 and you get. coming off the bench giving you 17, and you get Green

coming off the bench going three or five and giving you 11, and so that was the difference. So what happens is, if one of your key guys doesn't perform like he normally does, and we normally what Kyrie normally gives you, that means somebody else has to pick up that scoring slack, or

someone's or others have to pick up the scoring slack and that's what you need on the road if you can get your auxiliary player your role player right to step up and contribute it's going to be you're more apt especially if you get luca one of the other guys playing well luca was very efficient tonight he shot over 50 from the floor he was over 50 from the three-point line he gave gave you 10 rebounds, gave you seven assists. We knew that he wasn't going to play in game two as poorly as he played in game one. And so when you get that kind of production, you got that kind of production from him.

You got that kind of production from PJ. Daniel Gafford gave you 13. He only took six shots. And you got Hardaway and Green, I think Josh Green coming off the bench combining to give you 28. And they shot what? They shoot 10 of 14 from the floor and they shot 5 of 9 from the three-point line.

You get that kind of reduction on the road for role players, you're going to be doing real good. And a starter of the night, the Cavs did a better job of making heart life harder a Jalen Brown he was 7 of 17 Jason Tatum was 8 of 17 in game 2 but it was Spider Mitchell he gave you 29.7 rebounds 8 assists he was 5 of 7 from the three-point line yeah he was plus 36

um and plus minus only Jalen Brunson has scored more points in the postseason Donovan Mitchell over Donovan Mitchell over his last four games, he's given you 38 points, six and a half rebounds, five and a half assists on 51-40 shooting. Evan Mobley gave you 21 points, 10 rebounds, five assists. He was plus 35. He's the youngest Cav player. He's the youngest Cav player since LeBron James with a 20-10-5 in a playoff game. Karis LeBert chipped in on the road.

He gave you 21 big points, six rebounds, and they outscored the Celtics. He outscored, well, they outscored the Celtics starters in the fourth quarter. You see the Celtics are a three-point shooting team. Now, even though they didn't get up the normal amount of threes that they got up, they normally get up. When the threes are falling, they'll shoot you at the gym.

But when they're not falling, they get blown out. They get just like what the Heat did to them. Remember what the Heat did to them in game two? Because the Heat threes were falling, the Celtics threes weren't falling. Same thing happened tonight. Do I think

the Cavs are going to beat the Celtics in a seven-game series? I don't. I don't. I don't. But they did make it a lot more interesting because a lot of people thought it was going to be a 4-0. This is what you have to do. Again, the supporting Cavs

with Donovan Mitchell, Struss, Levert, Garland, if they can just keep the games close, because you never know the type of night that the Celtics are going to have. We know they can shoot you out of the gym. We know what Jalen Brown can do. We know what Jason Tatum can do.

If you can just continue to match their point output as consistently as possible and be efficient from the field and challenging them on every shot and not allow them to get any easy shots off, I think they have a chance. Maybe not to win the series, but at least to make it

close enough to where people can't say, oh, it's going to be 4-1, it's going to be a 4-1 series or whatever it may be. Nobody is given... If you're a gambler man, if you're a bed man, nobody is giving the Cavs a chance to win this series. Not even you.

Absolutely. No, I'm not. No. Because the thing that I love about a seven-game series, because in football, sometimes the best team doesn't always win. The team that plays the best on a given Sunday or Saturday or Monday or Thursday they'll win but I got seven games the normal and normally in a seven game series if the bad calls or poor shooting happens early enough you could overcome that now in a situation if it's a game seven and you shoot poorly and it's a three three ball game you're not going to overcome that but if it's early in the series normally normally a seven-game series,

the better team will overcome that. But you look at the production that they got on the road. They had six guys that scored in double figures. All five of their starters for the Cavs had double figures. And you get Karis LeBert coming off the bench giving you 21 points. And so when you get that kind of production from Donovan Mitchell, he gave you 29 on plus 50% shooting. Darius Garland didn't take a whole bunch of shots. He was 5 of 8, 4 of 5 from the 3 mitchell he gave you 29 on plus 50 shooting darius garland

didn't take a whole bunch of shots he was five of eight four or five from the three he gave you 14 point akuru he gave you 12 points evan mobley and we mentioned 21 and 10 max scrooge he gave you 12 on 50 shooting they shot 50 almost 55 from the floor 46% from the three-point line. Boston got to do a better job of defending. I mean, you let a team in the playoffs shoot 55% from the floor, 46% from the three, they're probably going to lose the game. I mean, listen. Boston was, before you go, Ojo, Boston was 41% from the floor. They was 33 of 80 from the floor, and they was 8 of 35 from the three.

They always, I mean, you know, you hear Joe Mazzulla talk. He's trying to get up 53s. Well, they're trying to get up 53s. You're trying to make somewhere between 18 to 22 of those. Well, when you only make eight threes, the Celtics are not beating anybody

if they only make eight threes. That's not going to happen. It's not. Because their team is predicated on taking and making a bunch of threes. It's really that simple. Damn. Jason Tatum was 7 for 15. Daniel Brown was 7 for 17.

I mean, hell, let's start with them two right there. For one. Mm-hmm. Yeah. The big guns got to go off uh jason tatum gave you 25 he was 7 of 17 uh jaylen brown only gave you 19 he was 7 of 17 derrick white was 3 of 11 he had 10 holiday was 2 of 7 he gave you 4 uh al horford was 4 9 he gave you gave you 11. Peyton Pritchard was the guy. He played really, really well. He gave you 13 points on 6 of 10.

But outside of that, they didn't really get a whole lot of production from the bench. But they normally don't. They normally don't get a whole lot. Hauser normally comes in and plays pretty well. Occasionally, they'll come in and coordinate and come in and give them some valuable minutes. But normally, Pritchard is the guy off the bench that plays well for them.

But right now, Jason Tatum is struggling. There's no way of putting it. Um, you look at the previous series, he did not play well. Uh, and the calves to get a road win considering they didn't even come close to

getting a road win. Um, well, I think game six went on, he hit 50, but I think it's still what they ended up losing but for the Cavs to come into the garden and beat them by 24 that's the Cavs got to take something we're like okay we didn't win not one road game last series against Orlando and here we

are a team that won 64 games we still won on the. So they got to feel good with that. I like it. Now it's time for our first segment of the night, Ocho, and it's a news cap. Glenn Big Baby Davis was sentenced to 40 months in prison on Thursday for defrauding the league's health care plan. The 38-year-old Davis was also sentenced to three years supervised release. In November, Davis Davis was found guilty of health care fraud, wild fraud, conspiracy to make false statements and conspiracy to commit health care and wild fraud and face 20 years in prison. Federal authorities said Davis and others defrauded the insurance plan of the NBA players and family members of more than $5 million in a scheme that lasted four years.

The players would make false claims to dental service, various medical, but those services were never provided. Davis submitted a total of $132,000 worth of claims, including he got $27,200 worth of dental work at a Beverly Hills dentist's office in October of 2018. Authorities said he was actually living in Vegas at the time, flew to Paris that same day using geolocation data for his cell phone to prove it. But Davis doesn't seem too concerned about his punishment. Take a listen to what he had to say this afternoon. Damn. I got a cold imagination, though. You know, I do that actor shit.

So now I'm going to jail. So now, I'm going to come to rock. Oh, yeah. Man, he made, listen, he made. I mean, I guess, I guess the best thing you can do is make light of the situation.

I would just get ready to say the same thing, man. He's making light of the situation. Taking it on the chin the best way he can, obviously, but it all sends back to what I've always seen. You better hope he don't take it on the chin the best way he can, obviously, but it all stems back to what I've always... You better hope he don't take it on the other end. Listen,

it's one thing that goes back to what I always say when I always speak on taking care of your chicken, like Marshawn Lynch says. Taking care of your money when you're in the league. Taking care of yourself, man, so you don't end up in situations like this where you have to do anything

having to do with fraud, for matter and having to to find loopholes in the system to use it to do some of the things that you enjoy in life getting your teeth done flying to paris i mean get them done while you're in the league ocho why you wait till you have ocho you know the team paper because when i first got to the I mean, I'm just... Get them done while you're in the league! Ocho, why you wait till you have Ocho? You know the team, because when I first got to the league, Ocho, the team, the medical wasn't like it is currently

for the NFL players. I wouldn't stop my black ass in the chair every Tuesday, because back then I think the NFL only played like 10% of dental because they deemed what I was getting was cosmetic. They're not doing for cosmetic. Now, if I had to have a teeth or had a root canal or something like that, but since I was getting veneers, they deemed that cosmetic.

And they really didn't want to play for anything. So I ended up having to get root canals and then veneers. My point, the thing that I hate most is that when you defraud a system and i get it you we shouldn't do it but what about the other players because now you make it hard because oh so you remember we heard cases of how players that really needed and benefits when nfl players try to do the exact same thing and when players actually waited yeah they was turned away and these jackasses that was 100 healthy that didn't need it, they was turned away. And these jackasses that was 100% healthy,

that didn't need it, that they wasted their money because they had five chicks, they had six homes, they had 12 cars, they blew all their money and now you messing it up for somebody else.

I don't feel sorry for them. I do not. This is a great example. This is a great example. And people laugh at me when I've been preaching. I've been preaching for now, but damn near 20 years. Damn near 20 years. It's impossible to maintain the lifestyle that you're afforded to live when you're playing the game. You lose sight of reality.

You lose sight of logic. You lose sight of common common sense being able to budget and feeling that this money will always be coming in because you make hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of millions as an NBA player you got to take care of your chicken you got to

you got to save for a rainy day because you're going to end up in situations like this where you want to continue to maintain that lifestyle even when you're done playing and it's impossible to do it's impossible to do, huh?

It's impossible. There is nothing. Chat, stay with me real quick now. Stay with me real quick. Think about what can you do in life in general as an athlete? I'm just going to throw a figure out there. Well, you could make $250,000, $350,000, or $650,000 a week. A week, huh? In a six-month span.

There's nothing you can do. So you got to plan accordingly. If you're making $100 million, have a five-year goal. Or have somebody that you trust with your finances and setting things up to make sure you don't hell even i i had a budget when i was playing and i refuse i read huh yeah you better yeah i refuse to go to that budget i refuse to go over that monthly budget and i would hope I didn't. So whatever I did

spend, it can fall into the next line for the next month and I got a little extra to spend. But you get caught up in the lifestyle. You get caught up in the chicks and the jewelry and the IG and trying to look like you got and trying to impress all the people.

you ain't got no money coming in, but you still big balling? You still buying balls? You still got tables? Yeah, a lot of people. You still traveling? A lot of people have this still traveling? Have this mindset. They love to throw the word investment out.

for all the athletes that make all this money when they're playing, then the ability to sustain a lifestyle that many portray, you would see it. It would be shown. And if you look at it through every era, through every era of football, you ever notice once players stop playing the game of football that the lifestyle has to change? It is always changing. Can you show me, Unc, one player from your era,

and I'm thinking of those that are in my era, that still live the exact same lifestyle if it was flashy, if it was above their means, that they, when they were doing their playing days and continue to live it once they were done playing.

It's impossible. No. Man, I got my ass straight in year three. In. Man, I said, I got my ass straight in year three. In year three, I had already made up in my mind, you know,

while I'm still playing, you know what I'm going to be able to do? I'm going to live a certain lifestyle right now. And I'm going to stick to it because I thought to myself, hell,

if I can get my name just as big, stay with me now, if I can get my name, just my name alone, just as big as anything I can purchase, then there will be no need for me to need all the accessories and the aesthetics. There's no need for the high-end fashion. There's no need for the Lamborghini and the Rolls Royce because, bitch, I'm Ocho. So I got my name to a point where none of the fucking glitz and glamour mattered because wherever I

went, you already knew who it was. So it wasn't necessary as opposed to others. Well, you know what? I'm in the NFL. Everybody doesn't know me because I don't have the visibility. I always have a helmet on. So I have to put on the accessories for the attraction to get who I want. Hey, look, I mean, and if I can get players to understand,

if you can handle your business on the field, it's a little different now because everybody's a brand. You got social media and all this stuff. I didn't have that. So I had to build mine. I had to get mine out the mud. Right. How y'all oh Joe

I had kids and had them back to back to back. Yeah. They're my responsibility. And as I told my agent, I had the same agent for 27 since 1996. So 28 years, September be 28 years. I've had Marvin. And he asked me, he said, what, what do you want for yourself? I said, Marvin, I want to live the same lifestyle right now. 25 years. You got any kids? I got three. How old? I told him

how old they were. He said, well, go get me all your financials. The only thing I owned was a house, Ocho. That's the only thing I had. And cars that were already paid for. He said, well, this is what we need to do. You need to do this, this, this, and this. And what you need to do is start setting up stuff for college.

So make sure no matter what happens to you, the kids college, because they shouldn't suffer. Yeah. Because you are reckless. That's the one thing he told me. Hey, I don't. Hey, I'm going to advise you. Here's the thing about advisors. I can advise Ocho all I want to.

Yeah. Ocho made that money. Ocho's going to do what he wants to do. I can offer him all the advice that I want. But if Ocho, I can't make Ocho because Ocho's the one on the field taking those hits. He told me, he said, look here, if you want to be reckless and get careless with your money and not do what I advise you to do, the kids are going to be taken care of. Okay, cool.

But I said, that's not good enough. I said, I still got a grandma and I got a sister. Boom, boom, boom. So for me, and they're talking about, oh, you don't go on no vacation. That's why I didn't go on no vacation. Because that was going to cost me money. So I was going to have to play. You know, I'm going to fly first class.

Right. I'm going to stay in a five-star hotel. So now I'm spending $25,000, $30,000. Nah, nah, nah, nah. I can divide it up times three. That's the key. So when the kids get ready to go to college, they're taken care of. Now, we're fortunate, Ocho.

We were good enough that we could talk. We can talk the game. We got great personalities. We're affable. We're likable. We're able to parlay that. You and I have a podcast. I have Club Che Che. I'm on First Take. I did CBS

as soon as I left the league for a decade. I did seven years on Undisputed. Everybody is not fortunate. And you have to understand that. But I wasn't banking on being able to have that. So I was going to have to have the money that I made. Look, I was a seventh-round draft pick. I didn't start making a million dollars

until my fourth or fifth year in the league. So I had to make up. So, yeah, for sure. So I'm like, okay, this is what I got to do. And yeah for sure so I'm like okay this is what I gotta do and so if I'm fortunate enough that I was able to like get money from CBS for 10 years

say out of two years now for me Ocho I was like man I really want to get back on television I say but you know and my agent was telling me say out of sight out of mind I'm thinking to myself like on television. I say, but you know, and my agent was telling me, say out of sight, out of mind. I'm thinking to myself, like, what can I do? They call around. It's like, what if you did?

What if you broke down three or four games? Pay for it out of your own pocket. Get somebody to edit it and put it on your own Facebook page. Boom. Say no more. Every week, $14,000. Do three. They edit. They cut it. own Facebook page boom say no more every week fourteen thousand dollars do three they edit they cut it every week that's what I did out of my own pocket now mind you ain't no money coming in that's just so I hope an ESPN or somebody would see notice me and say man I like I like the way

he break down the game I like the way he yeah it the game. I like the way he'll... It happened. But still, even if those things didn't happen, I'm not going to defraud somebody because I know having played in the NFL and I've gone around enough to see guys that actually need the money. So when I go to the Hall of Fame and they say, well, Shannon, can you sign this and we'll pay you X amount of dollars? I say, don't give it to me. I don't need it. Give it to somebody that's not as fortunate or didn't play in the era

in which they made the money that i made don't i don't need nothing i'm good so anytime the nfl or or the play or the hall of fame asked me to do something and they want to pay me nah just give it to the players that need it more than i do i don't't need it. Shannon is good. Shannon's been blessed. God has blessed Shannon. Gave me the ability to play the game for an extended period of time. He gave me the opportunity to talk, to be able to articulate my points, have a strong point of view on television.

I'm good, but I don't like people to do stuff like that, man. Don't cheat the system, especially when you had an opportunity to beat the system. You know how fortunate we are to play a game. That's a child's game

and you get paid a brand-new salary. A heavy ransom. I mean, listen, it all comes down to the discipline. It all comes down to financial discipline.

They have the Rookie Symposium. I'm sure they have the resources in the NBA teaching you how to manage your money, understanding how to deal with the women, understanding how to deal with the chicks. Again, a lot of fellas out there, I'm in the chat. I know some of y'all are going to see this in the NBA.

Some of y'all are going to see this in the NFL. Entourages, and there's one person. They all eating off one person. That money goes fast. It goes fast. Wasn't that a TV series or a movie? Entourage?

But again, if you're making more, then you're spending more, especially when the structure and the financial discipline ain't there.

So the fact that you're making way more money as opposed to when we did, when we were playing, it don't make it none. It don't make it none. It's going to run out every time. I'm telling you. So when the era that's playing right now, when the era that's playing right now is done 10, 11 years from now,

when I'm what? I'll be 65. Then I'm still going to be living the same exact lifestyle. The same way. Yes. I just, I just hope to be living. God, God, listen, God willing, be living. God willing.

God willing. God willing. God willing. That's it. But like I said, I understood what I wanted. I wanted my family out of the environment. My brother. That was really the only thing that my brother and I, we talked about.

We didn't really ever talk about girls or anything. He's like, man, I just want to make some money and get granny out of this situation. Yeah, me too, man. Man, you go, I don't know, man. I just... That was all I thought about. And the thing is still to this day, anybody that comes into my life, they understand.

When I didn't have anything, my grandma was sending me $5, putting it in newspaper so they couldn't see it in the mail room and take it. My brother made sure I had. So they good for life. So, like I said, that's how I am. I'm always going to rock my family. We're going to disagree.

Family disagree. My brother don't agree with everything I say. My sister don't agree. I don't agree with everything I say. My sister don't agree. I don't agree with them. We get upset, but guess what? They know I got them. And that's the way you got to be, Ojo. No arguments anymore.

Obviously, mom is gone. Grandma is gone. So my nucleus, obviously, is my kids. I got my brother, Chauncey, I got my brother Sam and that's it, I don't have much overhead you know, obviously I have a lot of kids I am thankful

thankful for those I have kids from because they are the reason this train is continuing to move and able to move the way it does because there's no ill intent. They understand. They've always understood what the end goal was at the end of the day for the betterment of the child, which is why they're all striving well and they're respecting crabs and what they do. Like no issues, no issue. I just,

I just, for some reason i got lucky even though i didn't do things the traditional way the way i did do it it works well which is why every time you ever you ever notice i always praise those because they're individuals in my life that can make life live in hell and it would be no way it would be going the way it's going on this track. What do I... Oh, man. They could have made it tough.

We had a disagreement, so it's all true. On Twitter, I see some of the stuff. On Instagram, and, boy, I'm not going to get into that and change the subject, but... It happens. I mean, look, we were all young. I had kids at a young age.

Their mom was young. We had disagreements. And like I told her, I said, look, y'all got me out here stretched out like this here and people think I'm putting hands on y'all and all they see is Shannon has eight this and eight that. They don't realize those are child modification hearings.

I was like, God, look how y'all got me out here. Y'all got people think I'm out here reckless and I'm doing all this crazy stuff. Do y'all even care? I said, because

at some point in time, these kids are going to get old and they're going to be able to see this stuff. And they're going to say, well, mom, why was Shannon in court? Our daddy was in court five times, six times, eight times, ten times. And then what y'all going to say? But he was paying for private

school. He paying for college. He paying for everything. So why? He said, come on now. We better. It's unnecessary. I'm assuming we better. This is unnecessary. I'm assuming you weren't as fortunate in that area. I, for me, this is weird. This is weird of me to say,

and the chat probably won't agree, but I like child support. I like child support when I was playing because I wanted to be able to focus on the game of football. Now, the child support for me, I enjoyed the structure of it because I need to be focused on this. So I had no problem with the structure child support that, that I had going on because listen,

I need to focus on the game, whatever you need, whatever the child needs is going to be taken care of. So then when things change and football was no longer coming around, like, everybody was okay. They understood that. You get them going. Others, sometimes when you have kids,

oh, they trying to take you through the ringer. You know, when the money's not the same, they trying to find ways to continue to get to keep that train of that trail of money always going. Dog, no issues. No issues at all. And you know what, Ocho,

and even when I left the game, you got to realize I left the game, my kids were barely teenagers. And my people were like, well, you go, okay, you don't go for child modification? I said, no. I said, because the kids

have already been established to this lifestyle. If they go down the list, they're not going to be able to have it. That's not their fault. They didn't ask to come and they didn't ask to be put in the situation. No, we're going to keep everything the same.

Now, mind you, Ocho, my kids, you get insurance five years after you retire. After that, man, you know what insurance is for after you retire. After that, man, you know what insurance is for teenage kids? Well, you ain't got to tell me.

That can help kids. I'm putting that. Ain't got no problem. But that's my responsibility because I've made them. I promised my grandma. She's like, okay, boy. That's the only thing my grandma said. Take care of them kids. Okay, great. No problem. But that's what I said. That's the only thing I ended up telling my grandma. She's like, okay, boy, that's the only thing I'm going to say. You take care of them kids. Okay. Great. No problem. But that's what I said.

That's the only thing that I ended up telling my kids, my kids, mom is like, y'all got me. Y'all got people out here thinking I'm crazy. Cause every time Shannon, you know, cause it's public record.

Oh, Shannon got in and people still like, well, you got all these, you've been to court 10 times. Right? Well, it's child modification.

They want to bump and pay. No, Shannon and I have been reckless. Shannon and I are here doing what he's supposed to do, trying to be the best person he can be, trying to be the best father he can be. And hey, I give them credit because they did do a great job of explaining to the kids, your dad has to do this so you can have that.

And they let me get the kids during the summer. I put them in summer camp. Hey, what y'all want to do this so you can have that. And they let me get the kids during the summer. I take them to ESPN. I take them to ESPN Zone, you know, and so we play, you know, I got a blackjack table. I'm teaching them how to play blackjack. We play a monopoly. We played all the board games. I got, you know, I ain't no video. I ain't no video game buff, Ochoes.

But, you know, they want to play video games. They love it because they got something they can beat me in. So we, you know, we did a lot. I did a lot when the time that I had them, especially like Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays. I'm training during the week, but hey, we go into the movies every weekend. Dad, let's go to the movies, okay? I'll put them in the movie theater and say,

look, I'll come back and get you X amount of time. Hey, ice is this big. Why both of y'all need a large, a large, a bucket of popcorn? Why two of y'all, y'all eight, nine years old,

why y'all can't share a bucket of popcorn? But everybody got to get a jumbo popcorn. Everybody got to get a jumbo slushy. Everybody got to get candy. I'm like, really? I love that. You know what I feel like?

You know, I never had an entourage before. You know, I had friends, I had friends, that was it know what it feel like? You know, I never had an entourage before. You know, I had friends, I had friends, that was it. But it's something about when I have all the kids together
