Starting point is 00:06:19 Listen, next time when we do the tour and we got merch, let me drop a track. Now, what we did, we wanted the fans to get involved. So we let them be the stars of the Okay. Okay. Okay. Say less. Say less. Oh, I'm back to back games for the first time. I think in NFL, we had a Thursday this early in the season. We remember last year we had the Thursday night Thanksgiving day game and then we had a black Friday game. But the opener season, the NFL gave us back to back games Thursday night, Hannah Friday and the Green the opener season, the NFL gave us back to back games, Thursday night,
Starting point is 00:06:45 Hannah Friday and the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles played in Brazil, got an international game early in the season. The Eagles prevailed 34 to 29. Jalen Hurts 30 of 24, 278, two touchdowns, two INTs, sat twice. Saquon Barkley came out big. He had 24 carries, a buckle nine, two touchdowns, also caught four touchdowns. AJ Brown, five catches a buck 19, one touchdown. And Devontae Smith really sealed it late because he has some big catches late in the ball game, seven
Starting point is 00:07:17 catches for 84 yards. And then we have Jordan Love who got nicked at the end of the game. Gonna be interesting to see how serious that injury is. He was 17 to 34 for two 62 touchdowns, one INT. He was sacked once, Josh Jacob, 18 for 84. And Reed, four catches for a buck 38. Ocho, you watch this game before I give you my synopsis of it, what'd you think about this game, Ocho? It was a doozy at the beginning. I'm gonna be y'all? It was a doozy at the beginning.
Starting point is 00:07:46 I'm going to be honest with you. It was a doozy at the beginning because I'm thinking, okay, high powered offenses, two really good quarterbacks. Some of the best receivers in the game. You know, you got them young bulls over there with the Packers. I'm thinking Jordan Love, they're going to come out there and air it out. Shoot, the beginning of the game. Listen, horrible, horrible, stupid penalties on the
Starting point is 00:08:06 Eagle defense. Jaylen Carter, baby, we got to do better, baby. We got to do better. Jordan Davis, y'all should be dominating that interior. Y'all should be dominating that interior every time. The second half in the second quarter, um, towards the end of, towards the end of the second quarter, like maybe in the eighth and ninth minute from that point on, we had some football being played on both sides of the ball.
Starting point is 00:08:34 They started, they started putting, putting, putting series together, string it, string it, string and play after play after play, getting drives together. The center and Jaylen hurts, they got to get it together. Yeah, they got to get out of, I think, listen, we don't have training camp. I'm not sure what's going on. They got to get that together. The two interceptions also could have been costly. You got to protect the ball. There's no reason that ball should have been thrown down the middle of the field in that coverage.
Starting point is 00:09:07 Honestly, Ocho, Jayler Hurts could have had four picks. Oh, yeah. Oh, Jay-Ed dropped one. Jay-Ed dropped one late towards the end. And the corner out on the sideline. He had one that's going to the end zone, Nixon. Was it Nixon or Mixon? Let me see, Nixon, Nixon.
Starting point is 00:09:26 He dropped one. Yeah, yeah. Shit, hell, Jordan Love had two too. Well, he had a house call that was dropped by Dean. The intersection that both of those guys threw. Yeah. I'm trying to figure out what Jordan, I still don't understand what Jordan Love saw.
Starting point is 00:09:43 There's a whole safety So in other words, there's cover one or cover three, whatever you want to call it. See how they rotate it There's a guy there's a safety in the hole coming down the ball The other guy is running with him and you still try to throw a fee. Yeah, I don't think you saw I don't think you saw The safety though That's priest that where do you thought he was going? I don't think he saw the safety though. I don't think he saw the safety. Oh, that's Pre Snap.
Starting point is 00:10:04 Where'd he thought he was going? Yeah, yeah, I don't think he saw him. Obviously at Pre Snap, at Pre Snipe, excuse me, at Pre Snap, once he dropped back, you know, his eyes are locked in, downfield and on his target. When he saw the dude trailing, there was a tight end, that was a tight end, wasn't it?
Starting point is 00:10:21 Yeah, yeah, crap. When he saw the dude trailing tight and he thought the tight end he thought the title was open, not knowing the safety was sitting right there just baiting him. And he just he broke on it right away. But, oh, Joe, I can see if they did, if they like like the old Steelers, they line up close and the safety and then they shoot up at it. I end up in the hole.
Starting point is 00:10:40 Yeah. Yeah. He lined up in the hole. And then her. Yeah. It looked like in her. So here's the interception. I'm like, hurts. What did you see? It looked like it might have been Tampa to a quarter quarter half.
Starting point is 00:10:51 I couldn't really. I couldn't really see. But the safety I'm like. Bro, you throw that man. You know, you can't throw the ball like that. Oh, Joe. And then he, he left it in there. If you got, you got to gotta, you gotta shoot that.
Starting point is 00:11:06 That thing gotta be up and down. Up and down right away. But listen, it was a good game. It had, it had, it was a good game in spurts. Yes. Yes. It was a good game in spurts. Listen, when they came out, the end of the second quarter
Starting point is 00:11:21 was unbelievable for both sides of the ball. For both offenses, both defenses. And then at the beginning at the, at the hair, when they came out of halftime, that thing was, that thing was looking good. And then it went, it went to sleep again. When the snooze fast snooze fest. And then it picked up a little bit on it for the Eagles and goddamn Jane Reed, I tweeted it not too long ago.
Starting point is 00:11:44 His name and Jane Reed, for you casual fans that don't know. He showed up even though they did lose. He played well, he played well. Oh Joe. Yeah, yes sir. Jordan Love, he had a, look, when they really could have put some separation
Starting point is 00:12:02 between themselves and the Eagles. Yes sir. Jordan Love had two series that between themselves and the Eagles. Yes, sir Jordan love had two series that really cost them the game Mm-hmm. If you go back and look he has the receiver he has I think it's Reed Screaming across the field on the over route. He skips that to him He has dogs on the on the dagger route. He throws that behind it behind him Yeah, he has dogs on the speed out. He throws that behind him. Then he has Dobbs on the speed out. He throws that behind him.
Starting point is 00:12:28 I'm like, bro, Ocho, he's gotta stop throwing so much off that back foot. I know we get enamored by Rogers. We get enamored by Bohomes. But bro, you gotta stop throwing off your back foot because that's why the ball is failing on you and it's being late getting there. It is okay to step up forward into the pocket.
Starting point is 00:12:49 He refused. He just want to retreat, throw off his back foot, step up in the pocket, shift your weight and throw the ball, bro. Yeah. And the funny thing about it is, is the fact that he sat behind Rogers all that time. You can tell the mannerisms and the way he mimics
Starting point is 00:13:04 and throws and all the different arm angles that he does have. He's gotten them from Aaron Rogers, but at some Aaron Rogers has Jordan Love has arm strength as well. He has arm strength as well. I'm not sure if it's to the velocity of Aaron Rogers. So he's able to get away with some of those throws where the mechanics are all out of whack, but the ball is still able to get there on time because of his accuracy. So I think that's something, oh my goodness, I'm not sure if you can actually break that goddamn habit at this point. Now the season is starting. I'm sure something that they can work on, you know, to get him, to get him back on the basics, getting back on the basic fundamentals of being able to execute and process on not only doing
Starting point is 00:13:42 your reads before you throw the ball, but having your mechanics and your footwork and your left foot pointing in the right direction before you throw in the ball and get away from what you saw Aaron Rodgers doing. Because if you're watching him and Aaron look exactly the goddamn same from a mechanical standpoint when it's time to throw the ball. Yes, but there are some opportunities that, like I said,
Starting point is 00:14:04 I thought they could have got some separation between them and the Eagles because whatever the Eagles couldn't get out of their own way. The court, Jaylen threw a terrible interception and then the center snaps the ball. That is not on Jaylen Hurt. He's going through his cadence and the center snaps the ball and he kind of hits him in the arm. That's on the center. And then he throws another terrible interception. He got away with a couple but late What about the touch push the touch push fumble to yes. Yeah. Oh, yeah It looks like the synergy even snap it all the way up to the top But he dodged the bullet on that one. Oh, yeah, it is
Starting point is 00:14:37 So honestly really the Eagles lost this I mean not the Eagles the Packers lost his game The Eagles didn't really win it if you think about it No lost this, I mean, not the Eagles, the Packers lost this game. The Eagles didn't really win it. If you think about it, if you look at all the opportunities that the, the Packers had to actually run away, not run away with the game, but actually take it between them. Yes. Yeah. Put some separation between them.
Starting point is 00:14:54 They didn't take advantage of the opportunities. I know one thing where you can tell it was week. You can tell it was week one. Yeah. Could anybody line up on Joe? Can anybody line up and stop all these illegal shifts, illegal formation? Oh yeah. Two guys going in motion.
Starting point is 00:15:07 What the hell? At the same time. Why you go two guys? Now when did y'all ever done that? Never. Well, wait, honestly, wait a minute. Think about it now. Two people can be in motion,
Starting point is 00:15:18 but before the snap of the ball, both have to be set. Yes. But I think the play clock was running down and he had to hurry up and snap the ball. So those are the things that you can fix. Those are the kind of mistakes you expect teams to make in week one. Even though you've been through training camp, even though you've done it, you had repetition after repetition after repetition in live action mistakes like they're going to be had. Yeah. But I know one thing you could tell it was week one, but you can tell both teams defensively and obviously have so much potential
Starting point is 00:15:48 You know by the time by the time they had week four or week five and everything is really rolling Yeah, and they in sync with that chemistry. Oh, it's gonna be nice gonna be nasty. I hope your love is okay Yeah, the Eagles defense they show some grit early in the game when that game could have cut it had Jalen Hurts had two costly turnovers early and the Eagles held him to six points. Yeah, that's really what the difference in the ball game, won't you? Because the game could have got away from you so, so early. But give the Eagles defense Vic Fangio, he was brought in there to revitalize that.
Starting point is 00:16:20 So they did a good job of keeping the Packers out of the end zone with those two early turnovers. But the Packers squandered some opportunity. He had Kristen Watson running at the back of the end zone. And I don't know if he slipped or he just overshot him. It looked like, you know, it happened. It now he overshot him a little bit, but the push that the little shove from the safety, yeah, threw him off balance just a tad bit. We weren't, the little shove from the safety threw them off balance
Starting point is 00:16:46 just a tad bit. We weren't able to get to that ball. Just that little shove, it messed up everything. But I tell you what, it's a great feeling to be one and oh, as opposed to all in one with this little mini bye. You feel good, you have to go and have to travel what? Probably 10, 11 hours back. You're banged up. I don't know. I don't know. Well, look, I've never gone on a long trip where I had to play a whole lot. So normally when I went on international flight, so I didn't play enough to get sore. Right. Right. Right. Right. So but so it's a big difference actually playing a meaningful game
Starting point is 00:17:21 because normally it was early in the preseason. And so we only play in a series, maybe two series at the max now in 92 we played in Berlin and hell I played up until the third quarter because you know, um, Dan wanted to, you know, wanted me to play a little more because they were going to ask me to do a little more that year. So that was really my first year of getting heavy, heavy minutes in the regular season. So he wanted me to go a little bit longer and I totally understood that
Starting point is 00:17:47 But for the most part of Joe we played overseas I wouldn't play it long enough to get sore you played at least 60 plays 65 plays this game your ass Or if you play oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, most definitely I'm gonna ask you this sir There's 30 seconds on the damn clock You had run the ball out of the end zone the whole F at night. You got no timeouts. What makes you run the ball? Special teams coach, head coach, leave the ball in the end zone. We're going to get it plus and no time goes off the clock. Yeah. Guess what? They get the ball. He runs it out runs time off the clock and he's 15 yards short of where he would have gotten the ball and no time would have gone off the clock.
Starting point is 00:18:30 If he took a knee. So now when Jalen Hurst throws that pass, imagine putting it up 15 yards further than what it was. You see, sometimes that's what we talk about. We talk about football IQ and basketball IQ. If plays like that, that irks me. What makes you, so Ocho, so in the first half, the second half, the second quartet, when they scored, you didn't run it out. Now you behind, you got no timeouts. Now you wanna play, you see what happens
Starting point is 00:19:02 when you try to play hero ball, Ocho? Hero ball, Oh, yeah. Yeah. Hey, that was that. I don't know. Listen. That's why that's why I said, that's why I said you could tell this week one as much preparations they did before this game. You can still see the mistakes, the mental mistakes, not even by just the players themselves, by the coaches as well.
Starting point is 00:19:24 When certain situations like this come up again. Now you've already you've already been through and you understand. Well, you know what? We can't do that. We can't have it. Yeah. Sometimes, sometimes common sense ain't common. I'll tell you about your question. There's 30 seconds on the clock and you catch the ball. What you what you're going to do, you got no time.
Starting point is 00:19:43 Oh, I'm taking a knee. You know, you got no time out. You catch the ball. What you're trying to do, Ocho. Get out of bounds. Get out of the bag. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Yeah, I'm just trying to figure out why when you had 12 minutes on the clock, 13 minutes on the clock, you got three time out. You don't run the ball out.
Starting point is 00:20:04 But in this situation, you got no timeouts and there's only 30 seconds. Now you wanna be a hero and take it to the house. You see, that is things like that. That, I mean, the coach, look, I get it. The coach would always, I mean, if that was my job when I was on special teams, the coach would always try to brief the guys,
Starting point is 00:20:23 okay, hey, guys, we, we got no time out. Hey, we're going to leave it in the end zone. So forth and so on, or we got to make sure we cover. Okay. We got to leave. We just took the lead on the lake. Second touch. Uh, last second field goal or last second touchdown.
Starting point is 00:20:35 Okay guys, let's make sure we cover. Let's make sure we stay in our lane. Now, you know, Hey, we hadn't seen that return. Hey, yeah. Alto be on the look for it. L, Alto, be on the look for it. Lilo, Halle, be on the look for that return coming back your way now. So you letting the guys know we hadn't seen that return,
Starting point is 00:20:53 now's a good time for them to bring it out because what the hell do they have to lose? Oh Lord, see this is why I can't play. But I tell you what, everybody know what the hell to do on man. Everybody know what to do on COD. Everybody know what to do on Minecraft. But you don't know what the hell to do on man Everybody know what to do on COD everybody know you on Minecraft But you don't know what to f to do when it comes to the game to think that's paying you and allow you to get
Starting point is 00:21:11 These fancy ass chairs and all those great setups you know all of a sudden What the coach ain't terribly coached it the coach ain't tell you how to play COD Who told them guys how to play COD? Oh Joe ain't no coach ain't nobody coaching them Ain't nobody telling what to do, but they can play that thing. Oh, okay. Nobody been mad. Okay, nobody in NCAA Repetition repetition repetition and do that stay your ass in the end zone with 30 seconds. There's no time out, you know damn well Ain't the thing you'll go Joe. We've seen it in the preseason and we've seen the two games Ain't nobody even come close most of the time. They don't even bring it out.
Starting point is 00:21:48 Right. I mean, it looks so, I'm like, I'm like, ain't nobody going to move. I mean, it's almost doesn't even seem real because the guy kicked the ball and the guy can't take off running. They can't take off until he catches it. I'm like, I don't know how everybody else feeling about it, Ocho, but I ain't liking this new kickoff rule. I really don't. Ioff rule. I really, I get why they do it. I get why I get why the safety reasons. I understand as well.
Starting point is 00:22:10 But I think one of the things that the NFL is doing is that they're trying to crack down on people getting hurt in the collisions that happen on kickoff. Yes, I don't think I don't think they're going to be very many kickoffs at all. I told everybody's kicker. Everybody's kicker has a strong leg at this point. It was December 2019 when the story blew up. In Green Bay, Wisconsin, former Packers star Kabir
Starting point is 00:25:21 Vajabiamila caught up in a bizarre situation. Hey, G.B. explaining what he believes led to the arrest of his friends at a children's Christmas play. A family man, former NFL player, devout Christian, now cut off from his family and connected to a strange arrest. I am going to share my journey of how I went from Christianity to now a Hebrew Israelite. I got swept up in Kabir's journey, but this was only the beginning in a story about faith and football, the search for meaning away from the gridiron, and the consequences for everyone involved. You mix homesteading with guns and church and a little bit of the spice of conspiracy
Starting point is 00:26:02 theories that we liked. Voila! You got straight away. I felt like I was living in North Korea, but worse, if that's possible. Listen to Spiral'd on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey there, it's Michael Lewis, author of Going Infinite, Moneyball, The Blind Side, and Liar's Poker. My next season is all about fans and what the rise of sports betting is doing to them, to the teams, and even to my family. I'm heading to Las Vegas and New Jersey and beyond to understand America's newest form of legalized gambling. Listen to Against the Rules on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to podcasts. Just put the ball to the 25 or 30 and say, just go play.
Starting point is 00:27:05 Listen, they've been trying to get these collisions out of the game. They're trying to figure out how, because most of the concussions happens on these plays. Because think about where they're coming from. Okay, you got a guy. Now the guy's running full speed on Chogun. By the time he hits somebody, he's running at bare minimum 15 to 20 miles an hour. The other guy coming his way, he's running 10 to 15 miles an hour. So when they collide, that's a 40 mile an hour impact.
Starting point is 00:27:35 Yeah. Oh, yeah. You want to know what it feels like to run a just line up. I'll tell you what you do. 20 yards. I want you to get your hard hat from Lowe's Home Depot. Put on your overcoat and line up 20 yards and run into your garage as hard as you fucking can. Excuse me. If you want to see, if you want to know what it feels like to be on kickoff, kick return,
Starting point is 00:28:00 pump, pump return, because I played them all for three years. Yeah. If you want to know what it feels like, man, we but Shannon, what does it feel like to be? And I've been knocked out and I've knocked some guys out on that. Right. Right. Right. Yeah. I used to be in the wedge as a rookie, too. You like to have to be in the way. I was in the way.
Starting point is 00:28:19 You do like the charge used to have a wedge weighed over a thousand pounds. Really? What? Yes. Who they had in there? Anybody I know? No. They had like two, some more, they had two, like D Tackles and an office alignment.
Starting point is 00:28:36 330, 345, 350. And you know back then, Ocho used to come together, they hold hands. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, they sure did. They sure did, yeah. And so now you to have somebody to try to take them out but you couldn't go low so you had to have somebody had to be a wedge buster. You had a couple of guys that what we call wedge busters. Yeah. Man.'t know. We've been. Barcelona 1994 Richard Smith was our special team coach and he, he gets fired up. He gets fired up that day before the game.
Starting point is 00:29:15 Yeah. He's like what I want. I want guys to go over that wall. I need somebody that's going to bust that f'ing wedge. And you can see guys get geek Cuz there's the opportunity on Joe a play good. Oh, yeah, T make the team a the more you can do Yeah, a better chance of a stick. I need somebody to go over that epic wall Okay, sure enough
Starting point is 00:29:39 We get a we kick off Right get back to the wedge Anthony Lee in used to be coach of the Chargers. He that I think he's the OC died the commanders, right? Right over the top of the edge. Guess what? Oh Joe? He jumped over it. He hit the wedge went over the top broken lead But you know how he got the job? I used to be I used to be on the return. I was like, I was one of the two guys in the return.
Starting point is 00:30:14 So there's a guy and then I did the guy over there and he looking at me. Hey, let's go. So. We had a special team meeting. I said, Rich, Richard Smith, people don't believe it, but he tell the story. I said, rich, you want to lead the NFL and kick returns? He showed in the film. He stop it. That's what the fuck I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:30:35 Did y'all hear that? Oh, he stood up. Did y'all hear that? My own pro tight end pro bow tidy and wants to lead the league and kick return. I said, well, you need to take me off because my man gonna make the tackle every time. Hey, the next day, alien, you up. Ask alien, ask Richard Smith, ask anybody there.
Starting point is 00:30:58 I told him that. I said, coach, you want to lead the league of kick returns? He got all fired up. I said, well, you need to take me off because my man gonna make the tackle every returns. He got all fired up. I said, well, you need to take me off because my man made a tackle every time I was off. I was off that day. But my first three years,
Starting point is 00:31:12 that was the only at that point in time. Now I had led a team in reception. So I had to myself not they needed me. But my first three years. Yeah. I was only getting that where you can get that work, huh? I was three. I was only getting that where you get that work. I was three. I was three on kick.
Starting point is 00:31:28 I was three on kick on a kick return. I was in the front line. I was a guard. Yeah. Oh, on kick return. I was three on kickoff. Right. Right down the outcome. And I'll tell I'm coming. Oh, so they but so you you remember my rookie year when I was in the wedge? three on kickoff right right down to upcoming Ocho upcoming Ocho. So you remember my rookie year when I was in the wedge.
Starting point is 00:31:50 You know, kick and then I did no kickoff. I was L2. Well, you the safety. You probably put the beer back. I was out of the safety. Yeah. But I'm saying I'll kick off. I was in the wedge. So hold on. You mean kick return you in the wedge.
Starting point is 00:32:03 Oh, kick return. Yeah, I was in the way. I was in the middle. Like to be in the way. They are never going to put nobody on the wedge. No, hold on though. You mean kick return you in the wedge? Oh, kick return. Yeah, I was in the wedge. I was in the middle. You too like to be in the wedge. They are never gonna put nobody under 200 pounds in the wedge. Why you never seen me hit? Nah. No, when I came in as a rookie, I was like 235.
Starting point is 00:32:15 That's why I was on the wedge. Ocho, I ain't gonna lie to you Ocho. If they'd have put you in the wedge, they'd have hit you so hard in the top of your head, you'd have peeped out the rims and thought you'd in jail. No, no, I'm telling you. You're talking to somebody that been in there. You didn't want no part of that. I was in the wedge in the 2000. What you talking about? I had, how you think I made the team?
Starting point is 00:32:36 I didn't make the team, plant receiver. You a second round pick. That's how you made the team. You ain't gonna be in that wedge. You too little. How you... You just saw me in person and saw how big I am. I did. So think about this, Ocho. Think about how much, cause as you start, as we start to age, most of us, we get little old man girth and stuff on us.
Starting point is 00:32:56 Can you imagine how skinny you was in your early twenties? If you like this now in your forties? Yeah. I mean, as a rookie, you gotta remember coming from the combine and putting all the extra weight and all the extra mass on me to perform. I was honestly, I was about 215. But listen, I'll never forget Dick LeBeau. Dick LeBeau was the head coach at that time.
Starting point is 00:33:20 And they were so impressed with me on special teams that I really ain't touched the field at receiver I was a special team expert oh yeah but you know back then oh Joe I mean anything goes it wasn't like it is now where you couldn't you know you couldn't take off running because they don't change the rules before they implemented this oh Joe you couldn't lead to the guy kicked the ball behind the kicker and when he dropped his hand, I'm taking off running when he got that ball. I'm an all out sprint. But because you know,
Starting point is 00:33:50 they they retreat and by the time they do this, I'll tell you right in their face. I mean, they chance. I mean, they chance. Yeah, there's chance. But congratulations to the Eagles go on the road in Brazil. Thirty four, twenty nine, Victor's over the Packers. And that field was some bulljive. It was it was it was it was bad. It was bad. But listen, listen, players have no reason slipping because you had pregame warm up, you tested the field the day before.
Starting point is 00:34:19 So you already knew you asked me to goddamn studs anyway. You got to go to everybody. Everybody want to wear those soccer bottoms, but you gotta realize they have to be heavy. Soccer players don't be weighing 200 pounds moving like that. Oh no. That was over 165, maybe 170. At best.
Starting point is 00:34:39 You better get your ass some seven studs and sit down in them things. They change them after awhile though. You notice that people stop slipping after awhile. Yeah. That was the whole purpose. I mean, look, I used to always seven studs and then I went to tempo bottom,
Starting point is 00:34:55 what we call speed TD bottoms. I don't know if they still call them tempo bottoms, you know what I'm saying? Like the molded bottoms, but I had, I like seven studs, cause I didn't want to slip. The last thing I want to do is get an opportunity to make a hat, you know, I slip the balls, or I slip and I miss a touchdown or a key catch. So, uh-uh.
Starting point is 00:35:14 There was only, there was only one place where I had to wear seven studs. And that was when we went to Hinesfield. Oh, yeah. I think, I think back, back during those days, obviously it was, it was, it was a running area. I think Hinesville, they kept their field messy to keep the opposing team at a disadvantage. Yeah, because they're looking to run the football. They're trying to throw it all over the place until they got Big Ben.
Starting point is 00:35:36 Yeah. They were running the football. Yeah, they show they show where they were running it. Yeah. And you know, that's how the Steelers, the Steelers used to be built. They play defense and they ran the football, ran the ball. Yeah, they always played defense and they always ran the football until they got Big Ben.
Starting point is 00:35:54 And then when they got Big Ben, they still play hell of a defense. Yeah, they started throwing it all over the yard. The fake one Barkley three touchdowns a time for the most by any player in a team debut in the Super Bowl era. Ocho guess who was the last Eagles players to do that? What three Super Bowl three TDs in a Super Bowl era. Yep. But the Eagles last Eagle.
Starting point is 00:36:18 Ricky. Um, I almost said Ricky. Well, they have a debut in his debut. Oh, debut. You know, him very well. T.O. Yeah, T.O. The Giants.
Starting point is 00:36:33 2000, that was that one. Oh, five. Well, yeah. What year was that? Oh, four. Yeah, oh, four, four. How you know what? Matter of fact, speaking of Saquon and the game he had tonight, his debut as an eagle, how you think the Giants feel? Well, I mean, how you think they feel?
Starting point is 00:36:52 How do you still and listen, I would I argue with a dude tonight. He said there's no reason paying a running back like that. It didn't make any sense because all the Giants were going to do is they were going to lose anyway. Well, I mean, you want to keep your best players. That's what I that's what I look at. I mean, you want to keep your best players. That's what I, that's what I look at. Regardless of the position, you keep your best player. Now you paint a quarterback and people's like, well, okay. And I was like, Saquon got to feel like he's in heaven
Starting point is 00:37:14 because look, he ain't got to dodge everybody in the backfield. He gets to get there at least to the line of scrimmage without getting helmet put on him. And they're like, well, y'all talk about Saquon didn't have any room to run, but y'all criticize Daniel Jones. Daniel Jones, those lot of those interceptions, he hitting guys in the chest.
Starting point is 00:37:29 He ain't always getting sacked now. Right. Right. But I'm happy for Saquon. I am. I am. And look, what you saw tonight is only, it's only going to get better. It's only going to get better with AJ Brown playing like that
Starting point is 00:37:45 with Devontae Smith playing like that. And then he is running the ball like that. That type with that type of efficiency at some point at one point he was getting eight yards to goddamn carry. He quick. I mean, he hit the hole one time. I was like, damn Zayquan, oh, that touchdown on that touchdown run on that first one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:04 I mean that he, he hit the hole on that one quick. Yeah. Oh, that touchdown on that touchdown run. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I mean, he hit the hole on that one quick. Yeah. Oh, hold on. In the back, the back of the back, the back of playing around. He won't know he won't know that he. The back of his plan, I'm not sure. I'm not I'm I'm I'm bad with names, especially when it comes to defenders. OK, that second level, that backer could have made that play.
Starting point is 00:38:22 He went right along with the block in the wash where you could have shared that and made a tackle. But that's just me. Hey, I don't know this kid, this Zach Braun or where he came from, but he raised hell tonight. 15 tackles, 11 solo, two sacks on a tackle for low. Blankenship, a tremendous safety. He had eight tackles, four solo. But I thought the key difference in the ball game was early on,
Starting point is 00:38:48 keeping them out of the end zone. That could be the more that could have been instead of six. That could have been that could have been 14. Absolutely. And that would have changed the game. Yeah, that would have changed the game. So now in a situation like that, Ocho, I don't have to get out of my game playing because of the touchdown and I'm in the lead, even though I play bad up until this point, I scored touchdown and I'm in the lead. Even though I played bad up until this point, I scored touchdown.
Starting point is 00:39:06 I'm in the lead now. So I feel they had to feel comfortable knowing that as bad as we played, we're only down. We're only down to touchdown. Right. As opposed to being down two scores, which would have kind of been demoralizing. But the Eagles found a way to, uh, to withstand the early, uh, pressure by the Packers and they win 29, 30, 34, 29. The Eagles won. Saquon Barkley in his debut, three touchdowns, 109 rush yards to go along with two catches,
Starting point is 00:39:34 23 yards and another touchdown. So Saquon had him sat quite a day in his debut. Okay, tonight much of the NFL game, but it won't be the last earlier today. Roger Goodell said the NFL focuses on playing at least seven international games next season. That would include Spain, the United Kingdom and Germany. Um, if we went to Joe, we played in Berlin back in 92.
Starting point is 00:39:59 Um, he also added, we hope to go back to Mexico. We played a preseason game in Mexico and certainly did be back here in Brazil. Playing seven or more international games next year with step would be a step up from the five schedule for this year. In addition to tonight's games, there are three more games, Ocho London, Munich and Germany. Hello, Munich. But yeah, so one is in London, one of the Munich.
Starting point is 00:40:27 Where's the other one? Oh, tour tour. Then London. Okay. They got two in London and one in Munich. You know, three in London, three in London. You know, it'd be really dope is, you know, soccer season just started. Everybody's on international break right now.
Starting point is 00:40:47 But I mean, these these games you talk about, the two, the three in London or this year, the one in Munich. Yeah. I would hope I would hope. I mean, if I was still playing, I would hope we fly out a little earlier than normal. Like maybe a week in advance, that might be a little bit exaggerated. I would love to fly out in advance and go to a game. Because you know soccer season is during the same time as football.
Starting point is 00:41:13 Who's gonna fly out? The team. What team? Who I was playing in London this year. Oh, I thought you was talking about us. I said, man, you act your damn man. No, no, no, I'm just saying, if I was playing, I would love if the team flew
Starting point is 00:41:26 out early. So, you know, on a day off, bro, I can catch a soccer game. Oh, Joe, you know how teams grow. They're not trying to do anything. They're trying to control as much time as you can. When you got when you play with the Bengals, y'all got your ass to the city. Three thirty four o'clock, four thirty. And then you had meetings at seven.
Starting point is 00:41:45 They're not trying to give you no time to do nothing. Yeah, well, we talk about we talk about a seven, eight hour flight all the way across the water. They have done study and they say the best thing to do is to get there the day before treated like a regular game. Get up and go play. Oh, hell, hell. Just tell you.
Starting point is 00:42:01 Absolutely. They can't they can't do that. They can't do that. They can't do that. You got for do that. They can't do that. You got, for one, you have to give, you have to fly. You got to fly early. To me, I'm thinking maybe three days early, allow the plane to get active.
Starting point is 00:42:12 They ain't going no three days early. They just got there Thursday. When they flew to Brazil? Yeah. They ain't just get there yesterday. Come on, man. When they get there? When they get there? I guarantee you they ain't getting get there yesterday. Come on. When they get there, when they get there, I guarantee you they ain't get no three days early.
Starting point is 00:42:29 They've been there at least a week. No hell no. There's no way they flew in yesterday. That's impossible. Ain't no way they flew in yesterday and played a game tonight. But this game was in Corinthians Arena in Sao Paulo. The other was the next one is the Jets, Minnesota in Tottenham of Jacksonville, Chicago is going to be in Tottenham in the stadium.
Starting point is 00:42:58 Hotspur in New England, Jacksonville will be in Wembley. And then the Giants, Carolina and Los arena in Munich. Ooh, that's, that's going to be nice, boy. That's going to be that. They arrived in Brazil last night. They arrived in Brazil last night. I've told you, I've talked to teams and they say through the expert They talked to its best to get there and treat it just like a normal game
Starting point is 00:43:29 I'm just telling you what I was told now if it's a lie, they lied to me You know what after after a flight like that At the flight a flight that long if I'm not mistaken a flight to Brazil's what eight nine hours something like that 1012 Probably 1012. How long how long is the flight from mistaken a flight to Brazil is what eight nine hours something like that? Ten twelve probably. Ten twelve? How long is a flight from Brazil to from Philly to Brazil? One day in advance and then you go out and play football? Yeah. Man they trippin man. Man we, when we float international we had to go to the state we go to the hotel change a lot of times we didn't go because we had to pack a change of clothes and we go straight to the thing and go to practice go to Japan
Starting point is 00:44:12 you mean you mean walkthrough oh we got a good run in oh when Dan we wasn't no walkthrough we ran okay okay okay cuz they didn't want us to go go to bed could you tie the first day I'm gonna go I'm gonna go to bed Be it. Yep. Yep. Yep. Oh, that's crazy Well that day before 10-hour flight child, please. Yeah the fourth So today is the what the sixth so they arrived on the fourth that night So then like I said, yeah, Dana, that's it. They're not going in there early that early because they said that It's best on the body. Go ahead. Uh, the green Bay Packers, it took them 10 hour, 10 hour, 10 hours, 40 minutes to reach Sao Paulo on a seven seven. So basically it's a
Starting point is 00:44:57 double decker. The Eagle was a nine and a half hour flight. Uh, one of the Packers initial concerns about playing in Brazil, sending the team traveling, whether they could get a large enough plane to land in Green Bay at off the Shruba, which is in Appleton. Right. No, that's the Green Bay. Green Bay. Green Bay. If not, they would have to bust a Milwaukee to our ride. Then a larger plane means more pods for players to stretch out. The Eagles made an adjustment for their count
Starting point is 00:45:28 along commute. Instead of the usual one meal during travel, they had two. The focus was on extra hydration, and the group was encouraged to stay awake during the trip so they could sleep well once they arrived in Brazil Thursday night. That's crazy work, man.
Starting point is 00:45:46 That's why that's why I didn't go to sleep when we went to France. That's right. That's what the guy said. He said, shadow base, you used. Hey, that's all the difference is that we arrived early that morning. We left Saturday night and arrived early, early that morning. But no, that's what that's what I've been told. The teams that take these large flights... Right. It's like, no.

Starting point is 00:49:04 On every season of my podcast Against the Rules, I take a broad look at various characters in American life. The referee, the coach, the expert. My next season is all about fans and what the rise of sports betting is doing to them, to the teams, and even to my family. I'm heading to Las Vegas and New Jersey and beyond to understand America's newest form of legalized gambling. Listen to Against the Rules on the iHeart radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
Starting point is 00:49:37 It was December 2019 when the story blew up. In Green Bay, Wisconsin, former Packer star Kabir Vajabiamila caught up in a bizarre situation. Hey, GB, explaining what he believes led to the arrest of his friends at a children's Christmas play. A family man, former NFL player, devout Christian, now cut off from his family and connected to a strange arrest. I am going to share my journey of how I went from Christianity to now a Hebrew Israelite.
Starting point is 00:50:08 I got swept up in Kabir's journey, but this was only the beginning in a story about faith and football, the search for meaning away from the gridiron, and the consequences for everyone involved. You mix homesteading with guns in church and a little bit of the spice of conspiracy theories that we liked. Voila! You got straight away. I felt like I was living in North Korea, but worse, if that's possible. Listen to Spiral'd on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Oh Joe, there's a video making the rounds today of the Ravens tight end Isaiah likely unloading chief fans after now long. The video shows him walking in the tunnel and screaming F you be this was landed out
Starting point is 00:50:59 of bounds in the back of the end zone in the final seconds. Oh Joe, are you okay with understandable behavior? Yes! Listen, fan heckling you talking shit and you say something back. That's part of the game. For Joe. That's part of the game. I'm talking about they were talking slick. If you turn it up and listen, the fan says something, Slick, he said, shut up, bitch. And he kept it moving. I mean, that's not that bad. It's not that bad.
Starting point is 00:51:32 It's nothing that should get him in trouble or anything like that. I mean, that's just normal. That's your normal everyday trash talk. You say something to me, I'm saying something back. Yeah, for sure. As long as you don't throw nothing, as long as the fan ain't throw nothing.
Starting point is 00:51:42 No, as long as you ain't throw nothing. As long as there ain't nothing racial. Long as ain't nothing racial. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was just some words, just some words. And listen, that ain't nothing. What do you call those things they got on the side, on the, on the sideline that pick up everything, everything you say?
Starting point is 00:51:55 Oh, oh, the, the mics, the boom mics. Now you think him saying shut up, bitch is bad. Let them mics, let everybody hear what everybody's saying on the field. If you think that's bad, man, that wasn't none. Just, you know, little emotion, little emotion. He upset.
Starting point is 00:52:16 Yeah, if he wore a size nine shoe, that would have been a touchdown. He ain't gonna be six foot four with a size nine. He ain't gonna be able to walk. He been... Hey, I'm just saying, I'm just saying. Yeah, I'm like, hey, yeah. But like, look, I don't have a problem, look.
Starting point is 00:52:36 Like a lot of times, like I said, long as it's not racial, you like, hey, y'all long, you suck, okay, fine. You know, I ain't got no problem with that. I hope he was sitting and saying, look at, I say, I tell you what, your tequila spikes next wife like it. See that you just let be all cut together. But that's the first thing they say. People will attack you on social media.
Starting point is 00:53:04 It be women. And then when you cut their ass up, Oh, is that's the first thing they say. People will attack you on social media. It be women. And then when you cut their ass up, oh, is that how you talk to women? Yeah, women, they talk to me like that. That's exactly how I talk to y'all punk ass. I mean, people feel like, oh, because you Shannon Sharp, you're on television. I shouldn't be able to say whatever I want to say to you.
Starting point is 00:53:21 I should be able to insult you. And because you're on television and you make millions, like all of a sudden, because I'm on television, I'm not human. All of a sudden, I don't have a family. All of a sudden, I ain't got kids. So we're going to talk to you and say, whatever. Now, the moment. I shoot the ass up.
Starting point is 00:53:39 Obviously, figuratively, now, all of a sudden, does the FBI know you talk to people, Did Fox know you talk to people like this? What did you do? Your employer know you on here talking crazy and reckless. Think of me. Oh, I like it. Everybody know me. I'm I'm I'm very respectful and everything. I tweet out and I'll engage a lot of times. They're like, oh, why are you engaging with these people? But then when they try to get this disrespectful. and everything I tweet out and I'll engage a lot of time like oh why you
Starting point is 00:54:05 engage with these people but doing what they try to get this disrespectful oh I gotta get you I gotta get you I'm gonna let you know okay now I know y'all see me in the suit and tie but y'all forgot now I was real slick with my dog hey okay and then all of a sudden oh oh, oh, but I wanted EFP and no. Oh, and they didn't know. I'm true to that monitor. But they also saw what you said. I was from both.
Starting point is 00:54:32 Yeah, that's their favorite thing to say. Always go to employer. Yeah. And that's, listen, I always been the way I am. Oh, I haven't changed. I haven't changed since day one. I've always been like this. If you follow me on Twitter, I'm always tweeting. Yes. I'm always positive, always, I haven't changed. I haven't changed since day one. I've always been like this if you follow me on Twitter
Starting point is 00:54:45 I'm always tweeting. Yeah, I'm always positive always I love you. But if you shoot I'm gonna shoot back with you and I'm gonna keep going. Yeah, dude I'm gonna keep going. You remember when Tom Brady when Tom Brady's saying what I think was The Flick Gate and you know, I was going back and forth with some Patriots fans and one guy tried to be slick. Talk about, uh, uh, uh, you look like Mr. Ed. I said, yeah, your mommy said, get it up last night. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:14 You know what I'm saying? He, you know, he, uh, uh, uh, yeah. You know what I'm saying? Oh no, you hit it with, you hit it with the mom. I sure did. Hey, I know you were hot. Well, oh yeah. I know you were hot. Oh yeah. Oh, I know you were hot, boy. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:25 I know you were hot. Oh, yeah. Oh, I know you were hot. Oh, yeah. But that's what I'm saying. I'm trying to figure out if y'all dislike somebody. For me, if I don't like you, I'm not following you, and I'm definitely not gonna jump on your timeline
Starting point is 00:55:39 to try to insult you. If I don't F with you, I'm not gonna buy your music, I'm not gonna go to any of your movies. Okay, I don't F with you, I'm not gonna buy your music. I'm not gonna go to any of your, I'm not gonna go to any of your movies. Okay, I don't F with you. But I'm definitely not gonna jump on your timeline to try to say something slick. Why y'all wanna, I mean, I'm one of the most, I'm one of the, I'm probably one of the celebs,
Starting point is 00:55:59 former athletes, whatever you wanna call me, that all engaged fans. Hey man, what was this? I said, well, this is what I saw, blah, blah, blah. But then all of a sudden everybody feels like they want to be able to say something slick. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, listen, listen, Twitter, social media in general is a gift and a curse and I enjoy it. I embrace all of it. I like, I like the positivity. I like, I like the negativity. I like, I like a happy balance. I don't want all nice stuff being said to me. And sometimes I need you to talk shit.
Starting point is 00:56:30 I want to hear the bad too. The bad, the bad shit you say, it keep me goddamn humble sometimes, even though it won't. But still, I like to hear it, just to keep me grounded a little bit. I was talking to the dude, Ocho, and I said something and he didn't even say,
Starting point is 00:56:44 he didn't even repeat basically what I said. So I just told him, I said, I can tell that you was rewarded with, your grades were cookies and stars. I can tell that's what you got all the way through high school, cookies and stars, and you didn't get a diploma, you got a certificate, pay for attendance. You know, I can say it up your back.
Starting point is 00:57:03 I don't I don't want to just try to insult people but y'all come on my timeline I ain't looking for y'all. I don't follow y'all. I welcome people to follow me. Hey, shella. Hey love the show Love honking. Oh, Joe. Love you such and such. Hey, I disagree with you on this but you still cool But when y'all try to insult me, yeah, I got now sometime This is how I do it. Oh Joe If I got to think about it because I'm really gonna cut your ass up I won't I won't press see it because I read some stuff. I'm like, oh No, sure that that was that that gonna go that's too much. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah
Starting point is 00:57:42 Trauma center, I don't have a cut. I'm trying to send your ass to the trauma center. I don't want the paper cut. I'm trying to send your ass to the trauma center. Right. So I'm just letting y'all know. I like it though. Go ahead. Now, I was just going to say it makes social media fun, though, to me, to me, you know, for those who it doesn't bother.
Starting point is 00:58:00 I like the negativity. I like the mixture of positivity with it. It just it just it just makes social media that much better than me. Some people can't take it. You know, they're there. I don't want to use the word weak. I don't want to use that. So I for lack of better words, let's go to the next topic. I say the wrong thing. The Pittsburgh Steelers has officially listed Russell Wilson as questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Falcons.
Starting point is 00:58:23 Russ has been nursing a calf injury that could sideline him for the opener. According to Ian Rappaport, Fields is expected to make his Steelers debut and get the start against the Falcons. I would be out, Joe. You know, Fields is from he's from the Atlanta area. He went to Harrison High School. You know, hey, who is this? Let me I give you one guess. Who do you think was his favorite player growing up?
Starting point is 00:58:49 Michael Vick. And to go back in there and that don't damn. Now hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Yeah. You lost that bet. And yet Russell Wilson ain't starting. Are we sure? Are we sure about this? We don't know. Are we sure? Hey, so game time decision? Okay. I'm asking you, is it a game time decision? I don't know. Is that where we're at? Hello, Ocho. It ain't the game. And it ain't time for me to say it, but I just know this. When I talk to you on Sunday, make sure you got my money. Wait, Russell Wilson already won the starting job. So what is that? Is he starting the first game of the season
Starting point is 00:59:27 He won the job Game of the season. Okay. Now you cheating Cheating if he won the job and Mike time to name the name him the starter for the season You can't say because he injured his calf that has nothing to do with him losing the quarterback battle that I lost the bit Okay, so let me ask you a question. Technically you already lost the bet and I didn't even ask for my money. How did you remind me that we did bet? How did Tom Brady get the job? Moe Lewis hit Drew Bledsoe in the chest.
Starting point is 00:59:57 Drew Bledsoe was named the starter. This ain't finna be no Wally Pipps though. This ain't finna be one of them. Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. Listen, Russell Wilson playing, you know how I know he playing? How you know? One thing about a praying man when it come to injury, you know, God put hands on you and all will be well. Okay. I know that. And I guarantee you, I guarantee you, number three,
Starting point is 01:00:30 walk out there and lead them still as a victory. I mean, I bet that. I've heard Justin Fields say, you know, he give a lot of credit to God too. Well, I don't know if they serve the same God, but the God Russell Wilson served is a good guy and he always on time. Jamar Chase addressed the report that he wants one penny more than Justin Jefferson. Let's take a listen to what Jamar had to say about that.
Starting point is 01:01:02 Talk your shit, boy. Yeah. Yeah. Take a listen to what Jamar had to say about that. Talk your shit, boy. Yeah. Yeah. That's what I'm talking about. That's what I'm talking about. That ain't nothing. That's a number of confidence. That's come.
Starting point is 01:01:12 That's, that's how you talk when you know your top three in the league right there. You hear me? Huh? Yeah. Thank you. That's, that's how you talk when you know your top three. Matter of fact, his resume speaks for herself, even though it was early in his career, matter of fact fact before he even got here
Starting point is 01:01:25 Before we've been gotten an affair. What did he say? I'm coming in and I'm gonna break every record What did he do his rookie year? He broke a record. Yeah Man, that's somebody you play you and even play with him like that You give him his money and you know what you know what a liberty told me what a little bird told me It's probably gonna get done before kickoff It's probably gonna get done before kickoff. It's probably gonna get done before kickoff or everything he said today is in jest. It's probably gonna get done before kickoff.
Starting point is 01:01:56 And if it doesn't get done, notice also for those that have heard the interview, he will be used in very small, minimal packages to make sure he doesn't get hurt. But I think it's gonna get done. That's what a little bird, that's what a birdie told me. Matter of fact, I'm gonna break it before Adams, you have to break it. How about that? You know you can't play football like that. You can't play football in small pack.
Starting point is 01:02:13 You can't go out there, but not trying to get hurt. You gotta just go balls to the wall. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, no, I'm saying, even though he gonna play, but the packages that he going to be in are going to be small, is what I meant. I didn't mean he's gonna chill. He gonna go 100, zero to 100, but just to spare me in certain packages. I don't even like the way that sound. Exactly. So if you're gonna play that, if you're gonna play, he's one of the
Starting point is 01:02:38 best, you say he's top three, why the hell you playing him in packages? Oh, cause that money ain't right. Okay. If the money ain't right, the play ain't right. Hey, listen, let me tell you something. Now, I want people to understand. Listen, I love I love the city of Cincinnati. I love my bangle fans. I love the organization.
Starting point is 01:02:57 One thing about it, Chase is the same one who foregoed his senior season. Don't forget that and sat down to make sure he didn't get hurt. You hear me? Oh, I believe it. Yeah, for sure. They will stay, stay with me now. Cause when I told y'all he's not touching that field until he gets paid. I want you to understand what he's already done before. Oh, he, oh, I'm, you know what? I'm going to forego my whole senior season to make sure I don't get hurt. And you think he won't sit down until he get his money come on that y'all better stay with that's what I always tell guys look if you're thinking about holding out that year before you thinking about holding out on show I'm saving everything I'm telling mama said
Starting point is 01:03:36 look here we ain't buying no car we ain't getting no new house we ain't buying no jewelry because I'm gonna hold out cuz I'm gonna get that bread. Yes, sir. Because you do know when you when you in a city, there's the NFL team. They know everything. They know what your money is. And they like, oh, yeah. Oh, so you got your your your mortgage is how much? Three thousand, four thousand. Oh, OK. You got a carbon note. OK. And you pay. Oh, OK. You'll be here. You won't be long. Right. And you know what? You know what is also scaring me? I'm hearing reports that T Higgins, T Higgins hamstring, his hamstring might be bothering, but just day before yesterday,
Starting point is 01:04:13 if I'm not mistaken, it might've been yesterday. Well, actually it's after midnight. So two days ago, he said he was feeling the best he's ever felt in camp. And I think now hamstring and hamstrings are very, very, very agitated. Any any salt issue is irritating. It's very irritating. So I'm hoping I'm hoping all is well with him. I hope it's not anything that would be detrimental where he can't play Sunday. So if if if Chase doesn't play and T doesn't play, we do have some depth.
Starting point is 01:04:48 We do have some depth. You ain't got that much depth. Yeah, we don't have that. Listen, I think we have good depth. We have good ad-fueling skills. You ain't got that kind of depth. I understand what you mean. No, T Higgins.
Starting point is 01:04:58 I like it. You like, what's the name of that pool that you used to swim at? Charles Hadley. Charles Hadley. Now they got the D, they got the kiddie pool and then they got the 12 foot in. Right. OK, y'all got them two guys.
Starting point is 01:05:09 If they ain't playing, that's the deep end. And everything else in the kiddie pool, that's the shallow. Oh, I don't like that. I'm not going to tell you. I'm going to be honest with you. Now, I'm going to tell you this. Now, when you if T and Chase don play, and you see them young bulls, Jermaine Burton and the rest of them boys,
Starting point is 01:05:28 go right there and act a fool. Hey, I want you to remember what you, I want you to remember I told you, I told you we had depth, I told you. Hey. I told you. And that's all I'm gonna tell you. You didn't play a whole lot of attention because he got hurt early.
Starting point is 01:05:40 That boy, Kristen Gonzalez is like that. Oh yeah, he nice. That DVD from, that went to Oregon, I think it was from Oregon. Oh, he like that. Oh, yeah. He from the with the Oregon. I think he's from Oregon. Oh, he like that. Let me tell you something. He nice. But what are you going to do with Jermaine Burt?
Starting point is 01:05:51 Not there. OK. You get up there playing around if you want to with that 4243 if you want to. And from Alabama. OK. Huh. OK. Yeah. I think Christian. Hey, Christian Gonzalez, Mexican, too. Huh? Yeah
Starting point is 01:06:08 Yeah, that's my dog. Yeah, that's a homie. That's a homie He don't want he don't want none of Burton I mean I tell you that you want all that get up there get up there playing around and bump and run if you want to And they'll have no safety. Oh, you put a you might well you might strike the banner bet that Okay Okay That that. Okay. Okay. Jamar said he will be a game time decision for the bingo season opener against the Patriots amid what he called aggravating contract dispute.
Starting point is 01:06:34 He broke his silence today and said he would be willing to play this season even if the two sides cannot agree on an extension. But whether he steps on the field Sunday will be up to him. He said, it's my decision. He isn't the only bingo wire receiver who could be out. T Higgins, as you mentioned, has been listed as doubtful after suffering a hamstring injury on Thursday. Damn.
Starting point is 01:07:01 Damn. We're gonna be good. Yoshi, Charlie, we're going to be good. Yoshi, Charlie, we good. We got this. Jermaine, we good. I'm telling you, matter of fact, when I think about it, we might have the best receiving core as a whole in a league. And I say that respectfully, and probably the second best,
Starting point is 01:07:26 I'm talking about depth from one to five. The second will probably probably be the Packers. Hey, but I'm packing loaded, boy. You see how you saw Jade Reed went off the night. Now watch when they play whenever they play their next game. Watch it be Christian Watson. When they play another game, watch it be Romeo Dobbs. Man, boy. What a be Romeo Dobbs, man, a boy.
Starting point is 01:07:47 But I'm boy nice over there, man. They are. The boy is nice. Kandaria's Tony might be a little closer to finding another Tony had a trial Friday for the Browns. Tony previously had a visit to Seahawks earlier this week. Oh, Joe, do you believe the Browns would be a good fit for Tony? They currently have Amari Cooper, Jerry Judy, and Elijah Moore.
Starting point is 01:08:10 And you know what? That's three. That's three individuals. There's three individuals that have the exact same type of plan style that Kaderius Tony brings to the table. Exact same. If you see Elijah Rogers run Ralph. Elijah Moore.
Starting point is 01:08:24 Same way. All of the Rogers run Ralph. Elijah Moore. Same way. All of the Roger Assel. Elijah Moore from Clemson. Same way. Jerry Judy, you already know how he get down, especially with him feed. Amari Cooper, you know where he from.
Starting point is 01:08:36 You know where them two from. Kaderis Hoeney has that same style, but he does offer a different dynamic. I believe also in a special teams realm Yeah, but things we can do with kick return and pump return. So I think that would be a good place for him Well, where else did you try the Seahawks see a idea bit to the Seahawks I Mean, you know, they got look they got lock it. They got DK. They got smithin Jigba. Oh shoot
Starting point is 01:09:04 Well, they got Smith and Jigba. Jigba, oh shoot. Well shoot, they got a three-headed muscle over there, and they can do two. Huh? Was it Jackson, Smith, and Jigba? J-D-N. Or Jackson, Smith, and, Jackson, yeah, Smith and Jigba. J-S, man.
Starting point is 01:09:19 Smith and Jigba, yeah, Smith and Jigba. Oh, these names crazy, boy. So, yeah, I mean, I hope he lands. I think that sometimes I think sometimes. The best thing can happen to a player like a cadareus, Tony, is the situation to find himself on the outside looking in. It forces you. It's amazing. What a hungry stomach, what a what a growling stomach. If Bill started to pile up, it'll humble you. It's amazing. What a hungry stomach, what a growling stomach, and bills start to pile up.
Starting point is 01:09:48 It'll humble you. It'll make you. It'll give you a different perspective on things. Yeah. Give you a different perspective on things to understand how small the window of opportunity is that you do have to play the game that you do love. The game that you cherish and love to play. And it was always the childhood dream of yours. It gives you a better understanding. And my dog going to be all right. He going to get it right when he gets that opportunity to get that door opens.
Starting point is 01:10:15 Cadare said, no, you're going to see this when that door opens again. Young boy, I need you to do me one favor, close it behind you. Yeah, that's it. Close it behind you. Yeah. That's it. Close it behind you. Don't leave no thought and no stern untone. Go in there and give a motherfucking hell, boy. Stone unturned, we get what you were saying though, Joe. Oh, my bad, my bad.
