How in the world is it Doc Holliday's business?
In episode 799 of the Meat Eater podcast, host Stephen Rinella
talked with author and Old West historian Mark Lee Gardner.
Whenever there was a posse form, Doc Holliday was always there to help out.
So he's like, I'm sick, I'm half dead, I'd love to throw in.
So he just gets excited when there's a posse.
It's like your buddy drew a tag, you know.

that link is pending to the chat are the cowboys officially done or the eagles just need to win
one more game they're not they're done they're on life support they all life support
wait a minute they're not done yet they still got a one percent chance anytime you have
one percent chance there's still a chance now I know a lot of things have to go right for the
cowboys to be able to make it but that one percent still means
something. Well, this is what needs to happen. The Eagles would need to lose their final three
and the Cowboys would need to win their final three. Oh, hey, that's tough right down. Just like I
try to tell you with it. But anyway, the Vikings go into Dallas and win by the score of 34 to 26.
J.J. McCarthy 15 or 24, 250, two touchdowns, one I.N.T. That press got was 23 or 38,
294. No touchdowns, no interception. He was sack twice.
Excuse me.
They ran the ball 29 times for a buck 38.
A Javante Williams was 15 or 91 for one touchdown.
Malik Davis had eight for 21 and a touchdown C.D. Lamb led to receiving core.
Six catchers of a buck 11.
There's a lot.
Look, the Cowboys didn't really do a whole lot, especially defensively.
And Jerry kept trying to tell you this defense is going to be good and they're going to be this and that.
They're not a very good football team.
They're not a very well put together football team.
And it showed tonight the Vikings go in and, you know, look,
J.J. McCarthy has looked anything but spectacular.
I mean, he's had a spot here or there,
but he looked like a competent quarterback tonight against that poorest defense.
Ocho, what did you like about what you saw from Minnesota?
Listen, from Minnesota, I like what I saw from J.J. McCarthy.
Obviously, injuries, you know, it stumped his career a little bit.
And then obviously, once he came back, he didn't look up to par.
We questioned whether the Vikings were right about allowing Sam Donald to get.
outside of the house and go to Seattle.
But what we saw from Jay J.J. McCarthy was something that he can build off of.
He looked like a common in quarterback.
He looked like a quarterback of the future.
There's some throws.
There's some throws that I think he would want back tonight that should have been
completely Justice Jefferson.
Again, chemistry, timing, all that routine.
I think they will continue to get better at that, especially when they work together
in the offseason.
Outside of that, Jay Zy McCarthy looked good.
He looked good.
I mean, on the ground, they didn't do really much.
I mean, Aaron Jones had 12, 12 for 34.
Hoggison looked pretty good.
And outside of that, the defense played extremely well,
pressure in that, getting him off the spot.
And I think for them, I think they're going to need
JJ McCarthy to play good football,
not turn the ball over.
And when he has the opportunity to make throws,
he has to be as consistent as possible
and allow the defense to carry them the rest of the way through.
Yeah, I don't know.
I think this season is over.
I don't see a path for them to get into the playoffs.
considering you looking out West,
they got three teams that have
already, I think if I'm not mistaken, already have,
I think the Lions, excuse me, lions,
the Rams already have 10 wins, maybe 11.
I think they got 10 wins.
Seattle, San Francisco's right there.
So I don't see a path for them getting into the way out.
I don't see them catching Green Bay.
And could they possibly over a leapfrog the Lions?
We don't know.
But it's going to be hard for even the Lions to make it,
given what we've seen thus far.
What's that being said, Ocho.
I agree with you.
I thought J.J. McCarthy made some good throws.
He overshot.
He had Jetta on a deep over.
He was wide open.
If he hits him in stride, that's a touchdown.
But then he had Jetta wide open in the end zone,
and Jetta just let the ball get up on him,
and it went right through his hands.
Yeah.
Hey, listen, I hate when that happened.
I don't they never happen to you?
You're judging the ball.
Your hands are already in place, but the ball gets that.
Oh, he had some juice on it, Ocho.
He had some juice on it.
Yeah.
Yeah, he let that one go.
Hold on.
There's another throw also.
There's another throw also.
That should have been a touchdown.
It was a back shoulder.
It was a back shoulder.
All he had to do was hit him a little bit more.
Just aim at that outside shoulder pad, aim at the outside shoulder pad.
But he threw it way too far away.
It wasn't even nowhere.
And that should have been a touchdown as well.
Yeah, look, I mean, he's basically a rookie quarterback,
although he's in the second year,
and he'll get better timing of how to throw the back shoulder.
That is an art.
Everybody can't throw the back shoulder.
Everybody can't have that kind of camera.
like Aaron Rogers and Devante Adams had for so many years.
And we see Devonte and Matthew Stafford pick right up
where they left off that chemistry that DeVante had with Aaron Rogers.
We're going to talk about Devonte.
He left this game.
He left the game with a hamstring injury that it looked like.
It didn't look good because he went down.
It wasn't like he grabbed and limped off.
He went down.
He's like he shut it completely down.
So that makes me know that thing really grabbed.
Hopefully he didn't pull it.
Ocho, but we'll see, you know, we'll get further confirmation tomorrow.
But looking at the Cowboys, Ocho, this is a poorly constructed team.
You look at the back end, it's not very good.
They're not very good at all.
They don't really have pass rushes, no one that can, you know, that can beat one-on-one
coverage that can get home consistently.
You need somebody that can win consistently.
Go ahead, Ocho.
I'm going to say, when you look at, obviously, there are three different levels, obviously,
and the second level and the third level is the weakness for the Packers.
I don't think the linebackers, the middle, the backer, though, Chow.
They rotate.
They got Kenner and they got Logan, the guy that they got from you guys.
I think his name is Logan Wilson, right?
Logan Wilson, yes.
They're not good.
They're not good.
Hold on, but that's where I was going with it.
I said that the second level and the third level would be the Keyles Hill for them.
Obviously, on that on that front end, they need, I like, I like Kenny Clark.
I like Quinn Williams.
I like, I like them.
I like what they show tonight and what they can do.
But they need an impact player.
They need an impact player.
Someone that can damn there, change a game and impact it.
But the hard part, it ain't another Michael Parsons out there.
There are only so many T.J. Watts, Michael Parsons, only so many Miles Garrets.
But if they can find someone decent who can be an impact player that teams have to worry about when you're playing against the Cowboys,
it can change things tremendously for them defensively.
Yeah, they haven't had an impact player.
The last impact player, they really have had,
I'm talking about consistent.
Like, look, Diggs had an exceptional one year.
He went to the Pro Bowl.
He was an all pro.
DeRond Blan was an all pro had one year.
But the true impact player that was consistent,
gaming and game out, that you had the game plan over years has been Micah.
Now, Micah is in Green Bay.
Now, he suffered an injury.
Many believe it's an ACL, but we'll get further confirmation with an MRI,
tomorrow, Ocho, but it didn't look good because it looked like he tried to change
direction, a non-contact injury.
Anytime we see non-contact.
guy goes down to the ground like that and he seems like he was an excruciating pain.
He knew something because he grabbed that knee immediately.
We'll get further confirmation of what transpired, but they don't have that type of guy.
And teams that if you want to win, you've got to have one of those guys.
Preferably you like to have more than one.
But if you can get one, you can have a pretty good, you can have a pretty good defense.
They don't have that.
April Fluse is a guy that he doesn't like to play man coverage.
He's a cover two.
He's a zone defensive coordinator.
At some point in time, now see, Cowboy fans, y'all keep saying fire Iber flus.
But when you had Mike Nolan, fire Mike Nolan.
When you had the guy, I think he was, you had, what's the guy's name?
He was at Tampa.
Fire him.
You had Zim.
Fire him.
You fired every.
At what point in time are you going to hold these players accountable?
Y'all don't ever want to hold it.
Because you keep fire, you fired everybody.
Go back and look at every defensive coordinator.
the majority of the cowboy fans have said fire him, fire him, fire this guy, fire that guy, fire this guy.
And he used to be head coach of Detroit.
He was the decorinator for the Cowboys.
But they got rid of him.
They got rid of Mike Nolan.
They got rid of Zim and they got rid of, they just keep getting rid of everybody.
At some point in time, we've got to hold people accountable.
And you know what else on to?
I think people need to also understand and recognize regards to who the.
coaches are most of the time coaching is one thing. It's one thing to have a bad coach. It's one thing to have a great coach. But also personnel matters. What you have to work with also matters. If you don't have the players to be able to run whatever scheme or taxes that you have in play, those philosophies and ideologies from a game plan perspective aren't going to work regards to who's coaching. I mean, coach coaching is good. It's a great thing to have. But if you don't have the personnel, if you don't have the players, the special players, there's certain positions to be able to be able to do some of the
things you want to do defensively, it really doesn't matter who the goddamn coach is.
No, it doesn't. It doesn't. I don't think the players are, I mean, they're okay,
but they're not like they're not, they're not game change. They're not lifesavers.
They're not, man, I got to have that guy. I got to have. Oh, boy, I need him. They don't have
one player on their defense. Uh, uh, uh, I like over Sean. He's a speed guy. He can reek
have it. Uh, he's coming off an injury. Um, I think next year he'll be better, uh, than he
was this year.
Huh?
He was a head coach of Detroit.
He was the head coach of Detroit.
He was also the decorinated in Dallas
that they ended up firing.
But also, when you look at these guys,
I mean, like, who are you like, man, I got to have him?
Janadian Klein is on his last legs.
And you are hoping that he's going to give you life.
Yeah, he'd give you a game,
but he's spurting here or there.
but he's not consistent.
The corners.
Okay.
And it's got to think about it.
And I knew this was going to happen
because if Jerry Jones takes money from you,
he finds you, you really pissed him off.
Because Jerry doesn't care.
Jerry doesn't care about the money.
If you play, go back and look at Jerry's history.
All those guys that he had.
There are guys that mispractice.
There are guys that late.
But if you play Jerry to hell with that,
The moment he took that 500K from a, uh, uh, uh, Diggs.
Trayvon.
Now, he said he's ready to play.
Another healthy scratch.
He's out of there.
Mm.
Hey.
Yes.
Yes.
They were all.
They're all running.
Wow.
Dan Quinn was the head coach?
No, he, Dan Quinn wasn't.
Yeah.
I mean, but think about it.
Think about all the defensive coordinators that the Cowboys have had.
Rod Marinelli to Mike Nolan to Dan Quinn was very good,
but he ended up getting a head coaching job.
But you go back and didn't they have a guy from,
he was at, he was at Seattle.
Richard.
Huh?
But at some point in time, we've got the whole players accountable.
Jerry's done a great, look, Jerry wants credit when things go good.
Okay, Jerry, you put this roster together.
You say the buck stops with you.
you put this roster together.
Not only does the buck stop with him.
He said on numerous occasions when people have asked,
is there anyone that can do a better job than you can?
And he's stated countless times that no one can run this team better than I can.
And he has the last say so.
So technically, the last say so, he is responsible for that.
He's responsible for that.
30 plus a happy many years has been since they won a Super Bowl.
1995, and I'm not going to make the playoff dish.
year. So they damn sure not going to win the Super Bowl this year.
Oh, Cho, this is how you can tell it for somebody's really good.
Let's just say for the sake of argument, if Jared Jones, would you think any of the
other 31 teams would hire Jerry Jones as their general manager?
No, fuck.
Oh, my bad.
No, absolutely.
There you go.
And he can only general manage this team because he owns it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He's only be a CEO of a company.
that he owns that doesn't mean that i mean i get it i get it but he's not good at picking players
he's not and i like jerry he's a great guy if you ever been around him he's very charismatic
and you understand why his players the majority of him like it right but he's not good at this
yeah i'm sorry mhm and cap oh whoa whoa whoa oh we go into the playoff man i ain't oh cho
They are America.
I come everywhere I go.
If you ask somebody who they root for,
they root for them cowboys.
They root for the cowboys.
I say you from South Dakota.
How the hell you jump over all the teams,
Green Bay, in Chicago,
and all those teams to go to Dallas?
Yeah.
I mean, it's what they did in the 90s.
What they did in the 90s.
They made such an impact on people that weren't even from Dallas during that time,
during that tenure when they were great.
people are still fans of them to this day
and the product itself is so strong
even though they haven't won in so long the product
itself itself which is why they're
considered America's team
even though they haven't won anything
because no team will ever be able to top them
regardless of what they've accomplished
whether it be the Patriots
whether be a let me think
whether it be the Kansas City Chiefs of late
nobody would be able to top what they've done
over the years to where they can take
that title of being America's team away from them
people will always root for the Cowboys
And Jerry knows what happened on a show?
Because they had, it was in two phases.
In the 70s, it was the Cowboys.
They was on, they were winning.
And then you had that lull in the 80s.
And then the 90s, when TV was rid of, when NFL football was really starting to hit, they hit it again.
Yes.
And so you got grandparents and parents that were Cowboys fans because of what they did.
Look, they had the knife, you the flancy uniform.
that blue was perfect text Graham did an unbelievable job when he picked out the color and said you know what this is really perfect for television because when the eye sees this who then you have this stadium it got a hole in the top why did you put a hole in the top so God could watch his team play oh I like that oh God watch the cowboy yet so they had cheerleaders nobody else had that don't Joe so they did a lot they did a lot of marketing
to get the casual fan that, you know, football is regionally.
You know, my team was right here.
That's what I root for.
But then when the advent of television,
because television really started hitting in the 70s,
because that's when Monday Night Football,
guess who came on Monday Night Football a lot?
The Dallas Cowboys.
So now we get an opportunity to see.
But this team has not put together very well.
And they got some situation.
Now, they're going to have to sign Dak back.
that is about $80 million against the cap.
They're going to give him another extension, lower that cap number.
What are you going to do?
What are you going to do with Pickens?
The last two games, he hasn't looked like the George Pickens
that we saw Ocho the first 10 or 11 game.
Whatever reason.
I don't look.
We know what happened to Detroit.
Today, I don't know.
Yeah, he wasn't targeted much.
And it seemed like they wanted to get everybody else involved based on the way it looked.
Where the players were called, they wanted to concede back.
He did?
CD had 10, he had six.
Yeah, it didn't seem like it.
It didn't seem like it, honestly.
Oh, we still got a chance.
We believe in this locker room.
No, you don't.
Yeah.
You ain't got no chance.
You're not going anywhere.
You're not doing anything.
It's over.
It's over.
Yeah.
And when you think about it, too,
understanding that they need a makeover,
it's not going to be easy.
It's not like the snap of a finger,
the all-season times,
you're going to find players in the draft
that are just going to come in
and make this significant difference
and significant change
and being able to help you,
it's going to be a bill.
It's going to be a bill.
Unless you've got damn Jeffrey Lurie or Harry Roseman
and have a knack, you know,
for getting players,
getting the right players that you need,
it's going to be a while.
Right now, the Rams are the number one seed.
they're 11 and 3.
Chicago would be the two seed.
They're 10 and 4.
The Eagles are 9 and 5.
Tampa, 7 and 7.
But the Seahawks are also 11 and 3.
Green Bay, 9 and 4.
They're in the 7th seed at 9 wins.
Detroit, they're in the 8 seed with 8 wins.
Carolina blew a golden opportunity today to take over the NFC South,
but they lost.
They're 7 and 7.
And the 9th seed and the Cowboys are 6 and 7.1.
they're in the 10th seed, Minnesota, Atlanta, New Orleans, Washington, Arizona, and the Giants,
all have been eliminated from playoff contention.
Dang.
Just like that.
Just like that.
I thought, you know, JJ McCarthy was a little jittery early.
I thought they was going to, you know, I said, okay, Dallas, this is your golden opportunity.
You know, Dallas, what Dallas normally does, Ocho, when they're really playing well,
what they normally do
is that they win that game
before Thanksgiving
they win the Thanksgiving Day game
and then they got a long
they got a long break
and then they come out
and win that game and now they're feeling good about themselves
where they lose the Thanksgiving game
they lose coming out of Thanksgiving
and now they got a very tough
a very solid Chargers team coming in
and then the last two games are on the road
the charges are going to need to win
because they've got to keep pace with the Bronco
Hey, well, you're Broncos.
I don't want you to say, don't you say my Broncos and don't you say
Yeah, I'm good, you're going good.
Oh, look, hey, hey, chap, I don't know how many people that didn't play for the Ravens got a hat with their number on it.
Hey, I, hey, I, hey, you know what, I ain't got, I ain't got no sword for this fight.
You mean to tell me you took your ass to.
Cincinnati and stood out there in that damn cold and watched that they's going you told me they
got chase they got anytime you got Joe you got a chance y'all's going zero points in 60 minutes
hey yeah hey it was it was a donut huh it was a donut it was it was it was it was embarrassing
it was not embarrassing because i had okay check this out on Joe Trayvon digs did not play
tonight according to reports this comes after what was described as a great week of practice
but the relationship between Diggs and the organization has soured
and has been severed Diggs, who last played week six
and has already been activated from our told reporters this week
that he was ready.
After the game, Jerry told reporters Trayvon Diggs isn't healthy enough.
You know what that is.
It's gotten to that point.
It's gotten to that point where obviously if a player is telling you he's healthy
and he's ready to go and anyone,
especially the one in the position of power who makes the call
and gives the red or the green light on players of play,
forget the doctors.
The owner comes out and says that,
you already know it's severed.
You know it severed.
And obviously,
once it got to the point
where Jerry Jones took money from him,
you know,
because he wasn't in the facility during the all season
to be doing, being able to rehab
so they can keep track of how far he was
or how far he came along
or what else he needed to do
and he did things on his own.
At that point, you understood
they were going into a different direction at that point.
Absolutely.
And, Ocho,
Remember there are games he wasn't starting.
He didn't start.
You paying a guy that kind of money,
you mean to tell me he doesn't start?
Yeah, yeah.
So, let me hear the thing, Ocho.
If he's not healthy, why did you activate him up our R?
Hey, listen, the game, the games that they play that we don't understand
and have no answer to.
No, no, the common people at home that don't play the game

Right.
So why do you, if you wasn't healthy,
why, why, why, why do you even activate him off IR?
Just leave him there.
Right.
That's messed up.

Hey there, Dr. Jesse Mills here.
I'm the director of the men's clinic at UCLA Health.
And I want to tell you about my new podcast called The Mailroom.
And I'm Jordan, the show's producer.
And like a lot of guys, I haven't been to the doctor in many years.
I'll be asking the questions we probably should be asking, but aren't.
Because guys usually don't go to the doctor unless a piece of their face is hanging off or they've broken a bone.
Depends which bone.
Well, that's true.
Every week, we're breaking down the.
unique world of men's health, from testosterone and fitness to diets and fertility and things
that happen in the bedroom. You mean sleep? Yeah, something like that, Jordan. We'll talk science
without the jargon and get you real answers to the stuff you actually wonder about. It's
going to be fun, whether you're 27, 97, or somewhere in between. Men's health is about more than six
packs and supplements. It's about energy, confidence, and connection. We don't just want you to live

Hey, what's up everybody? Daniel Jeremiah here. And I'm Bucky Brooks. If you love breaking
down football from every angle you're in the right place. Every week on Move the Six,
Bucky Brooks and I dive deep into the game from the X's and O's to the front office moves
shaping the league. We kick things off with Brian Baudinger, breaking down what really went down
on Sunday.
It is as good at timing, rhythm, offense as there is in the league right now.
Then Rhett Lewis joins us for our rookie draft and coordinator of the week, where we
highlight the rising stars and the masterminds calling the shots.
DJ talked me into Arronday Gadsden Jr.
He had a monster game.
A monster game.
And you hear from the voices who actually build the game.
GMs, coaches, and players who give you insight you won't get anywhere else.
High standards and high care.
That's the right combination.
So whether you're studying tape or job.

What do you tell men that are hurting right now?
Everything's going to be okay.
on the other side, you know, just push through it.
And, you know, ironically, the root of the word spirit is breath.
Wow.
Which is why one of the most revolutionary acts that we can do as peoples just breathe.
Next to the wound is their gifts.
You can't even find your gifts unless you go through the wound.
That's the hard thing.
You think, well, I'm going to get my guess.
I don't want to go through all that.
You got to go through the wounds you're laughing.
Listening to other people's near-death experiences, and it's all they say.
In conclusion, love is the answer.

Brown, excuse me, by the score of 31 to 3.
The Browns held Cleveland to 192 yards
and turned three interceptions against your door
into 17 points.
With three takeaways, Chicago extended their lead to 30.
Remember, Ocho.
Yeah.
D.A. Dennis Allen.
He was in Denver, his D.Core.
coordinator. He was at the Raiders. He was at the Saints. He's an unbelievable defense
coordinator. And I think we had Jalen Johnson earlier in the year and he was talking about
what he brought that sweat. You know, they got guys that can take Kevin Bayar can take the
ball away. They brought in CJ Gardner Johnson who can take the ball away and seemingly
good things always follow the teams that he ends up landing on. But they got guys every
time quarterback and they did a great job of pressure.
Shadour, they sacked him five times,
they picked him off three times.
But he's going to have to learn.
I keep saying this.
He keeps bubbling.
He's not going to outrun defense,
not defensively ends in this league,
Ocho, but somehow he thinks he is.
You're not your father, Shadur.
You don't have that kind of athleticism.
Sometimes you could step up and then go,
but you're trying to bubble.
It ain't going to have it.
He made a couple of good throws on Ocho.
He hit 16.
I forget his name, Mojo.
Bon, Bon.
He hit him.
He had it for again, but he put it up, put too much air,
and the win got it and killed it.
If he threw that one more on a line,
that's a touchdown.
That's a touchdown.
But he has to understand, bro.
That's why you get out there and you try to get
to get a justice to the wind.
You can't throw, when it's that cold,
that air is heavy.
Yeah.
If you're in the Midwest, that air is heavy.
So, plus, it's probably a little windy.
You put that ball up there like that high.
It ain't going where you think it is.
Every time, every time, especially this is a good game for him, too.
He didn't play well.
He didn't play well for them to be able to compete and contend
against a Chicago Bears team and defense and offense
that's been clicking on all cylinders damn near all year long.
Been clicking on all cylinders, all damn,
year long but he did make some good throws but he didn't play well enough today obviously this is this a
game that he can continue to grow from and playing in those conditions i played in chicago i'm sure you
played there too you're in the chat if you're from chicago you also know you got to go out there
in warm-ups you got to go out there in the warm-ups and adapt to the elements and understand what you can
and what you can do there are certain throws you won't be able to make not in that environment not with
that win and not with those elements and um i mean he just didn't play well there's really nothing
nothing else really too say about it they were interceptors today they made him uncomfortable he
doesn't have the foot speed to be able to escape the pocket like he wants to especially when he tries
to bubbling outrun some of the deepest ends if anything you got to play you got to play within your
strengths drop back if you're in the gun stay with stay stay within the framework of what you're
able to you know your pocket presence he has great pocket presence he has great pocket awareness
and when you are able to be mobile do it within the tackles within the guards anything outside
is just not happening unless they commit
and crash down too fast. Outside of
that, trying to bubble out and
trying to outrun the D-Ns, it's not going to work
because all of them, all of the goddamn D-Ns
and they damn there, 4-5.
They damn-N-4-5. They still going to catch him
at 4-8, 4-9.
Right.
Ocho, Judy got a happen.
He hit Judy in the chance, Ocho.
That can't be an interception.
It can be an incompletion, but it can't be
an interception.
In the end zone, the one Jalen Johnson kicked off.
Oh, Joe, that can't be an interception.
It's a touchdown or an incompletion?
Yeah, you got to be able to get that out of it.
Oh, Joe, he beat him in the chest.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You got to make.
The one thing that we will not do, Ocho and I,
we're going to call it like I see it,
how we see it.
She do it didn't play well today.
There's no way to sugarcoat that.
Yeah, the element, yeah, Caleb Williams was out there in that same, in the same 10 degree weather.
The wind blowing, whatever it was, he was in it also.
His players had to make plays.
Luther Burton III, May plays.
DJ Moore, made play.
Coast of Loveland, made plays.
Commit, may plays.
Okay.
I like Harold Fanon Jr.
I mean, he had 14 targets, Ocho.
He made plays.
Yeah.
Isaiah Bond made some plays, but Judy, you got to make plays for it.
Shoulder, you got to do a better, you got to do a better job.
of, hey, just get rid of the ball.
It's okay.
I think the thing is, is that for so long,
he's been able to make every play, Ocho, at most levels,
he thinks that's the same.
It ain't happening.
Tom Brady couldn't make every play.
Peyton Mani couldn't make every play.
You lame a great quarterback, and he couldn't make every play.
Shador's going to have to learn how to throw,
learn when to throw the ball away.
And he hasn't learned that yet,
and I don't know why.
I don't know.
what is it's four start
Ocho, fourth or fifth start?
So as this thing progresses,
let's take all this information,
all this information that you're getting right now,
catalog it.
You're going to have a great portfolio to look at
going into this off-season
of things that you absolutely need to work on.
And when you come back next year,
these mistakes,
Ocho and I are not going to be as forgiving.
we understand that you're a rookie quarterback
and only a sports start
but moving forward
as next year in the same position
no you can't make those mistakes
that's unforgiving
and then the one thing
about it is he's going to have to be able to recall
some of the things that happened this year
and when you're putting those situations again
the following year you don't make those same mistakes
don't make those same mistake
because you're able to recall okay I know this is happening
oh shoot they run the same
friends or I see that safety coming down I see that safety plan on the hash and okay they're
not coming I understand and so you once you're able to recall the information and regurgitate it
mentally in your head and visualize what's coming because damn I saw that last year so I know
exactly what's coming and I think I think he's going to be going to be all right but obviously
the one thing we got it look there's only one starting offensive linemen that started the season that
was starting today so all this all this notion that that's the same office is not no it's
not the same offensive line that the other quarterback started with.
It's not.
So let's take that in consideration.
So now he's out there playing.
He's playing with a backup offensive line.
You see, look at the difference between Chicago.
Chicago was the most sack team.
They were 30th in Russian.
Now they're second in Russian.
Their second is only the Broncos have allowed fewer sacks than what the Bears.
You see the.
difference.
People were talking about
Caleb Williams.
I told you they should
have taken Jay and that
all could pan out.
But you see what
the Bears did.
The Bears went out
and said,
you know what,
we've got a franchise
quarterback, we've got to
protect him.
And Joe Tuny,
they go get a left guard,
they go get a center,
they get a,
Jonah,
I think it's Jonah Jones.
I think they got
him from the Rams.
They get a right tackle.
Now they're able
to run the ball.
They're second in rush yards
per game.
They're second have allowed the second few of sacks.
You see the difference when Caleb Williams now in last year.
Look at this team last year compared to this year.
They're challenging for the number one seed.
They got 10 wins already with three games to play.
Personnel matters.
Offensive line.
That's how you build.
You build your team front to back.
I don't give a damn who your quarterback is.
Let him not get protected and see what happens.
You see how ordinary behomes look when he's running for his life?
You see, we saw that with Brady.
I don't care who you are.
Your offensive line can't protect you.
You ain't doing much of nothing.
Yeah, absolutely.
But, man, Miles, man, I should, man, boy, I show hope Miles.
Look like he tweaked that growing, don't you?
He got a sack and a half.
He's at 21 and a half.
He needs a sack and a half to break the record.
He got three games.
What's on Cleveland schedule?
They got the bill.
Oh, Lord.
Sit this without miles.
Get healthy.
Bills, Steelers, Bengals.
Oh, he'll get that record.
He'll go get that record against Yon.
Nah, he'll get that record.
No, he'll get that record.
Josh Allen is not an easy quarterback to sack, damn it.
First of all, get it to him might be easy.
getting its big ass on the ground because think about it he's bigger than big being he's
faster than big being the issue wasn't getting to big being it was getting his ass on the
ground what you got to it yeah he'd be is a big boy yeah but uh miles garrett he's going to be
a unanimous defensive player the year nobody else is really in the running for that 21 and a half
sacks um i just hope that groin is able to hold up and he's able to play uh these next three weeks
But look, Cleveland, man, you got to get, you got to get an offensive line.
You got to get, you got to get your dors of weapons.
That's all I got.
That's what we got for you.
Without weapons?
Yeah.
You got something up here?
What?
They said, Jared Judy needs to delete his social media for a while.
During the broadcast, also check this out.
During the broadcast, Allison Williams reported that the Browns removed Shador's wristband
and made some changes to the play call.
Ocho, how you remove the wristband
and add plays to a risk?
Ocho, have you ever heard anything like this?
Yeah, I've never heard anything like that,
but I know when you do go into a game,
obviously, you know, you understand and knows
that have played the game at any level.
The first 15 plays are scripted.
Now, outside, you have a number of plays
that you practice all week.
You practice all week that are on that wristband.
And obviously, you go to your wristband to be able to reflect on what they want to call based on what they call into your ear.
Now, whatever they did, once they take that wristband off, I'm still sure it's plays that just might not have been on the wristband.
How did they not on the wristband, oh, Joe?
You what you do, they call it, they'll say 34.
You scan down, 34, okay, red, right, 17, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
That's what they do.
That's why you see the guy.
You see if you go, chat, when you look at them, you see they're going down like this here.
Oh, there's 30.
Okay, right there, that's the play.
How to hell you add plays to a, you had all week?
What plays are you adding to a wristband that you took time out
and you had your secretaries to type up and put on?
Now you take the wristband off and to add plays,
I've never heard of this in my life.
Hey, I've never heard of it either,
but that is the only explanation I can think of is that there were plays
that they wanted to run,
that they might have practiced during the,
week they just wasn't on the current risk brand that's the wrong current risk brand that's the
only thing i could think so why would you not put them on there yeah i have no idea but listen
yo yo yo yo yo your thought is just as good as mine that's the only thing i can think of
because because you know what you know what they're not going to do you know what they're not
going to call no plays that they didn't run a practice during the week they're not going to do that
so why so why would you add plays so if though if you really to add those plays clearly you
practice them why weren't they already on the wristband yeah ain't a no teller
ain't when I heard it Ocho Ocho here's the Fansky being asked about it after the game
early on was there something wrong with Sanders first band yeah there was a
miscommunication early they mentioned that you guys had the wrong
plays in the wristband on the first two drives is that is that is it is
no yeah yeah there was a something i don't know if the wristband got something on it or whatever it was
but there was a we got that fixed pretty quickly oh you know the funny thing about it is
is it's hard when reporters ask a coach a question especially like that a coach is always going
to be pc he's always going to be politically correct and not give the true honest answer on what
the issue is behind whatever it was that
happened with the wrist. They're never going to tell us the truth.
They're never going to. So now it leaves all
of us guessing. It leaves all of us guessing
because the wristband is made up
excuse me, before
maybe what, maybe a Friday hunk or maybe a Saturday
because you understand what plays you have, what
Volka plays you like, what Volga plays
be ran in practice, that should do it as well.
And that's what goes on the wristband.
But here's the thing, Ocho. They're not leaving
until Saturday morning. So Saturday morning
is the last official wristband that you're going to get.
Right.
So that's what you're going to have.
That's what your first 15 played.
The first 15, you already know they are.
You walk through those.
You've talked about them the night before.
The quarterback coach has gone over those which you do.
These are the played, the first 15 plays that we're going to call.
This is a first down play.
This is the second down play.
This is our third down play.
This is what, you know, X, Y, Z.
This is our red zone play.
This is our goal to go play.
That's all on the wristband.
There might be 150 plays on the wristband.
And he'll tell you play 76.
So you got to, okay, 76, okay, okay.
But I've never heard anything like this because they asked it
with the wrong players of the wristband.
He said, yeah, no.
So I don't know what to make of this.
And I don't want to make it seem like we're trying to make excuses for him.
But I've never heard this before, Ojo.
I really haven't.
I haven't.
And it's really somewhat of a red flag
for something like that happened in the middle of a game.
In the middle of a game.
We as coaches, excuse me, I'm talking about we as coaches.
But as players, I understand how well prepared we are going into a game.
So how something like this can happen is beyond me.
Way beyond me.
Especially at the NFL level?
At the NFL level?
Preparation?
Man, listen, there's one thing you would never be able to question about all 32 teams.
is the way they prepare in a week
and preparing for an opponent.
There are really no mistakes and no error
because there's too many moving parts to it for it to happen.
It's too many moving parts.
I agree with you, Ocho.
It might be a situation.
I've never heard of this before
and I don't know how it happened.
We don't know why it happened.
But if I'm Jimmy Haslam,
I'm going to need some answers.
Yeah.
I'm going to need some answers.
I want to know how.
For the first two drives,
the wrong plays were.
were on the sheet, and we had to take the wristbands and make some adjustment to it.
I need to know why.
I need to know why.
If I'm Jimmy, I'm calling my friends.
I don't know who he's really friendly with.
I'm going to ask the other owners, have you ever, have your coaches ever had a situation?
Do you know about where they had to change the play, play band, the wristband because the plays
that they gave the quarterback were the wrong plays and the plays that they didn't want
to call or something like that?
Because I need to know why.
Mistakes happen, but not, not the egregiousness of this mistake.
No, no, not that kind of mistakes.
Chicago, Caleb Williams, 17 or 28, 242, two touchdowns.
DeAndre Swift almost had 100 yards.
He's 18 carries for 98 yards.
They 33 cares for a buck 43.
Luther Burton, the third, who's six for 84.
DJ Moore had four catches, 69 yards, two touchdown.
one of those in which Caleb was rolling to his right
and how he got that ball from two defenders.
I still don't know how I still don't know.
Hell, I thought the, I didn't know what the ball went
until I see a DJ more flicking on the ground.
I said, hold on, he called it.
Yeah, yeah.
Hey, listen, hey, Caleb Williams, as special as he is,
he breaks so many rules that very quarterback can do.
Very few quarterback can do some of the things he does.
Caleb Williams, you see Patrick Holmes do it,
you see Aaron Rodgers do it.
You see Brett Farb through it
because they trust their arm talent so much.
They trust their arm talent so much.
They understand, listen, you roll them to your right
and you're throwing against the grain
with the momentum going the opposite way
to the other side of the field.
I mean, that's one of those plays.
Would a coach be like, God damn it, no.
Yeah.
Because you definitely get into the end zone.
You definitely say,
don't throw back across your body.
He's throwing across his body in the end zone.
He threads it through two guys
and DJ Moore comes down with it.
If I'm Miles Garrett,
I'm looking at that should do with the offensive line.
I say, man, I just wish I could play y'all.
I break Derek Thomas' record if I played y'all.
The funny thing about it is think about all the teams he's played
and he's been able to accumulate and attain the amount of sex he's had this year.
So technically when it comes to him,
it don't matter who the hell he played.
He'd have eight sacks because DT got the record at seven.
He had another game he had six.
But think about it, Ocho, if Miles Garrett played this offensive line,
how many sacks you think he'd get?
That wouldn't be fair.
They have the double and triple team, ma.
They have the doubling trium every time.
I saw C.D. Lamb looking at it to Jumbotron.
I know what he was thinking.
Boy, if I went against these DBs in the game,
I've cooked their ass.
And he would.
But Chicago, look, Chicago ain't going to be no easy win.
You don't, hey, first of all, Ocho, in January, it's cold now.
Because I don't know when you played Chicago, but I played them in December.
Yeah, oh, I played, I played him in November.
It was cold.
It was, it was, it was, it was wet, it was damp.
And it had been, it had been a long time since I had played.
I don't think I, I don't think I had ever played in the east.
like that that time of year ocho and it was I was like we beat the hell out of
though but it was it was cold I was like damn and y'all play like this if I'm
not mistaken I think sing but I think Singletary was still there I think
93 I think Singletary I think Singletary played 14 years so he now he might
have retired in 92 because we played him in 92 no we played him in 90
and then we played them again in 93.
Yeah, so he wasn't there.
But we kicked their ass.
They beat our ass in 90.
But Chicago's going to be tough, man.
They can run the football.
They're second in rushing.
Caleb Williams, as long as he protected football,
they're going to have a chance.
That defense is good.
They can take the ball away.
They got 30 takeaways, don't you?
So that's what they do.
They take the ball away
and they sit the offense up in great field position.
They can run the football.
They play action off of that.
They do a great job of using Caleb Williams' leg.
They're rolling left.
They're rolling right.
He can open his hip and throw, you know,
because it's a right-handed quarterback.
Normally you want to roll it right.
But they don't have a problem rolling him to the left
because he can arm angles, he can open his hip and throw.
He, they're going to be, they're good.
They're good.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And that goddamn lose the burden.
That goddamn lose the burden on.
Well, he's coming on.
He's coming on.
He's going to be nice.
With the second and a half today,
Miles Garrett now has 21 and a half sacks,
leaving him one shot, he would tie the record with one sack,
he would break the record with a sack and a half.

a space for reflection, growth, and collective healing.
What do you tell men that are hurting right now?
Everything's going to be okay on the other side, you know, just push through it.
And, you know, ironically, the root of the word spirit is breath.
Wow.
Which is why one of the most revolutionary acts that we can do as people just breathe.
Next to the wound is their gifts.
You can't even find your gifts unless you go through the wound.
That's the hard thing you think, well, I'm going to get my guess.
I don't want to go through all that.
You got to go through the wounds you're laughing.
Listening to other people's near-death experiences,
and it's all they say.
In conclusion, love is the answer.

My team beat Ocho's team.
As a matter of fact,
Most of your teams lost today.
And the guppies might get it tomorrow night, too.
The Ravens beat the Bengals by the score 24 to nothing.
The Bengals, like they have been in the previous years,
have officially been eliminated from the playoff.
What's new?
Water's wet.
Sky is blue.
Gravity does exist.
Hey, whoa, whoa, that was a bad game.
Oh, go ahead.
I could have to give you enough information to have you have an opinion on.
something just yet.
Okay, you just moved out.
Joe Burr was 25 or 39, 225, two.
Not one, two, I-N-T's, one, one, man,
Calvin oil picked it off, and then hand in the dog.
Yeah.
It got with that a sideline, hey, hey, hey.
Hey, hold on, hold on, huh.
And let me, let me tell you with every,
you're that reminding me of, right?
Please tell me, and I know you remember,
Remember, any time that Ravens secondary
for Chris McAllister, Samari Role,
with them boys, but even if he wasn't there at the time,
anytime Edry got an interception,
what's the first thing they're looking at the ladder.
They look at the pitching.
They want to make sure it's a house call every time.
And I was like, how the hell Calvoyne knew to do that?
Well, you know what?
I know I'm not fast enough to make it to that.
He wasn't going to make it.
Absolutely not.
Yeah.
He wasn't going to make it.
Uh, Chase Brown 13 to 53 on the ground.
Sima JPM ride had 14 carries, uh, 42 yards.
Joe Burrow had two for five, 29, uh, they had 29 total rush attempts for 100 yards.
Jamar Chase had 10 catches for a buck 32, 16 targets.
Uh, Ocho, I told you the defense weren't good.
I told you that.
I said, you actually think the Ravens going to turn the ball over five times again?
You think the Ray was going to turn the ball over five times again, Ocho.
Hey, you're right, you write, you right, you right. Listen, I'm, listen, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm thinking with my heart. I'm thinking with my heart and not really understand the game of football that you're not going to have a game like that. The Ravens aren't going to have a game like that. Anytime they have eight back there, they're going to always have a chance. And I was nervous. I was nervous. I was hoping. I was hoping for us, for our sake, that we won this game. Because I understood what it could do for us for the team morale in general. You know, if we were able to win this game and pull it out and be able to sweep the Ravens, you know, this season.
in the division and it didn't happen it didn't happen the ravens played one hell of a game
lamar made some fabulous plays i mean zay flowers made some played i just thought it was a bad game
we put up a donut uh we put up a don't you y'all practice all week did that y'all practiced
today hey listen we we um it was it was it was embarrassing but it was embarrassing for me
no no it was it was no it was embarrassing a donut our quarterback is is is is is joe burrow
bro. We have Chase Brown
at running back, uh, you hear me?
We got the greatest receiver to ever play
in where them got damn stripes on his helmet
and Jamar Chase. I don't know.
Like, that's what we got offensively.
Like, Charlie Brown.
Hey, we.
Y'all had the peanuts games.
Y'all had Lionel.
Hey, this goes zero. Lucy,
peppermint paddy, pig peon,
Snoopy,
Hey, all, hey.
Woodstock?
I'm really,
Hey, we need to make changes.
We need to make change.
I'm not sure.
I'm not sure where those changes need to come from.
But listen,
in order to win the NFL,
in order for us to contend and compete,
it's not about skill positions,
it's not about quarterback.
Games are won and lost in the trenches.
That's what we need to start at.
That's what we need to start at.
We need an impact player.
We need an impact player defensively.
We need someone on the back end as well.
We need a great point.
I told you you didn't have that.
What happened to Gino Stone?
I thought you liked Gino Stone.
Yeah, I like it.
I like it.
He's solid.
He's solid.
But again, I'm talking about impact, impact.
So is an ice cube.
I don't want it, man.
I don't want it to run DBB.
This is what I would do.
I would, the focal point of what we need to do in the off season, we need to address
the officer line.
We need one impact player.
We need one good solid.
I can rely on you similar to like Lane Johnson or something like a trend.
Now, I'm not saying there are other replicas of those type of players, but we need just that.
Then, I need to detackle.
Hey, Jeffrey Simmons.
We need Jeffrey Simmons.
Jeffrey Simmons is playing tight and you catch a touchdown today?
Yeah.
I'm looking at him.
But listen, I'm telling what we need to do to revive and get us back what we need to get
to, you know, and being able to compete in this goddamn division.
We need Jeffrey Simmons to come on out here.
We need a corner.
What do you think about Trayvon Day coming here?
Fresh start, new scenery.
He's back healthy.
You're not, look, you're okay?
He'll feast the famine guy.
He's going to get you, but they're going to get him.
Yeah.
Yeah.
As long as you understand, see, Ocho,
as long as you understand what you're getting.
Right.
Yeah.
What do you think?
It ain't too much out there for it.
We're not going to find.
It ain't.
Listen, we're not going to find nothing in the draft right now.
You're not getting no pass or tan.
You're not getting no stingly junior.
You're not getting those.
I don't know, I don't know what's in the draft.
Caleb Downs, he's a safety.
He's not a corner.
He's an outstanding safety.
He has great range, great tackling ability,
but he's not a corner.
Yes, very good.
They've been a whole lot of safeties that can change your life.
There ain't a whole lot of Air Reads.
They're not a whole lot of Troy Palomalus.
They're not a whole lot of Ronnie lots.
That's, that's a different class.
You're talking about, for me,
the greatest safety that I've ever watched that I've ever taken off
on tape is Ed Reed.
He by,
I think Ed Reed
is by himself.
Now, some people say
they like Ronnie a lot,
but nobody turned,
he turned turnovers into points
because he was taking it to the house
or he was sitting his offense up for great field position.
That's what separated him for me.
Yeah, for you,
Ed Reed is up there as well in a tier one
in a class of his own,
but I like Troy Palomalo,
who's not too far from that.
He's not too far from that.
He's a little different.
He was still ranging.
He was very disruptive and being able to obviously play, playing past covers,
but what he provided for you also in the box in the trenches as well
and being able to disrupt plays, man, lining up in the A-Gap,
doing some of the things we see Miles Garrett and Michael Parsons do.
It's tremendous.
And when you have players like that, we talk about the greats.
It allows you to do so much defensively.
You have all these exotic coverages that confuse you because they would always be in places
that aren't traditional.
You can't study for that.
can't study for some of the things that they were able to do and they brought to the game.
I mean, Ocho, you realize Lamar Jackson completed eight passes?
That's, um, who are you telling?
It was 10 degrees out there.
They only had, they only had 24 rush attempts.
Derek Henry had 11 carries for a hundred.
Keaton Mitchell, uh, had eight carries for 60 seats.
They had 24 rush attempt.
for
189 yards
they average a damn near 8 yards
you know what
that's not necessary
that's not necessary
and one thing about grandma always
say when a man is down
you don't kick him
so you running you
you rathen off all these stats
and we already lost the game
we ain't scored
but I've been telling you this
I tried to tell you this
see you
what you want to come out here
and gloat on Thanksgiving
Ocho Ocho said it
Ocho say they're going to beat the Ravens.
Ocho said they're going to the playoffs.
Okay.
Ocho said.
Right.
Well, listen.
Hey, even a goddamn clock
is wrong twice a day.
I could be wrong some time.
You were wrong at the start of the season.
You're wrong at the middle of the season.
And you're wrong right now.
Well, technically, if you think about it,
throughout the entirety of the season,
I'm only been wrong two times.
I've only been wrong twice.
First of all, you've only been right twice.
that Joe Burrow was coming back
and y'all was going to beat the Ravens
well he did come back
and beat the ravens that was his first
all the other times have been wrong
I told you Brownie
brother Browning
and Chad y'all remember he said brother Brownie
or brother Browning going to do this thing
I mean
I was fooled from last time
he had starts I was food
I was food but listen
we got we got to clean your house
I'm not sure what we need to do
I gave some suggestions
of, yeah, I gave some suggestions on what I think we need to do
or who we need to acquire veterans that we need to acquire
that can come in, that are experienced,
and we know what we get, you know,
because the draft,
and the draft is not going to do it.
Nobody's coming in, in the, offensively or defensively or defensively
and just changing everything, you know, draft.
And, Ocho, remember, you said, oh, who y'all played next week?
I say, we play the Packers.
Oh, y'all losing that game.
Who said, that is?
You?
Hold on.
Listen, I don't, I don't think I said that because you would have to show you.
Chad.
I wouldn't bet against, I wouldn't bet against that defense y'all.
No, that's what you said.
You said, oh, the Paco will beat y'all.
You're going to beat your football.
I wouldn't bet against your defense.
I know I ain't say that.
I know what y'all.
Chad, did he said it?
Yeah, we're going to find that clip.
Hey, hey, uh, have him to start looking for that clip what Ocho said,
the Green Bay was going to beat the Bronco.
I promise, I promise you won't say that.
Ocho, what I didn't.
Did Butter go to the game?
Did Butter enjoy himself?
Well, man, listen,
Unk, man, Buttercane to the game
as a Raven fans, listen, the Bengals,
the Bengals fans, they open their arms,
you know, we showed
us some hospitality, you know.
You know, it's his first game coming out here,
the Cincinnati, he loved a Raven, huh?
He loved him some Ravens, so, you know,
I made show, the show, buttersome love,
you know, and I made sure he was able
to meet Lamont and whatever,
and it was embarrassing, huh?
For me, it was embarrassed because I had company.
I had company in the building, and we didn't score no point,
So now I can't even talk no trash.
If I don't know that, I'd have sent him this hat.
You think he didn't wanted this hat?
Yeah, I'm gonna let you talk to Butter, man.
Hold on, hold on.
So.
You got $8.00.
What is?
Talk to me.
Talk to me.
Hey, he was sick.
Hey, how you get thrown out of Chase a suite?
Because, listen, listen.
Because what they were talking so much trash.
They would let me head.
They were, they would start so much trash.
But as soon, as soon, because I knew Joe was going to give me something.
I asked, listen, I asked Joe to give me, give me one home.
Give me one.
And boy, he threw that pick six, boy, I couldn't control myself.
Hey, let's look at the video right quick, buddle.
Let's see.
Hey, this butter right here in the sweet.
Yes.
Let's go, Joe.
Let's go, go.
Let's go.
Go, go to the crib, to the crib, to the crib, to the crib, to the crib.
Why am I?
Wait, why am I not cheering?
Why are we not cheering no more?
Why are we not cheering on me?
Why are we not?
What's going on?
I can't.
Why?
Oh, my God.
I think, don't.
What did you cover that?
Oh, boy, boss.
Oh, boy.
This is this.
All right.
All right.
Is it?
Yeah.
Oh, man.
Take up.
Oh, boy.
Hey.
Listen, I appreciate you, bro.
Appreciate you for having me.
All right.
They kicked you out for real.
I thought you were playing.
How did kick brother out?
Fuck.
They kick you out for real, but I thought you were playing.
Well, I thought, but listen, I thought it, I thought they were playing too.
I thought they were playing too.
And the thing that made it worse, they had the best season.
Yeah!
But you had some good old, it was nice and warm up there.
You had some good old food.
You drank you a couple of bruskins?
No, I ain't, I ain't had that.
You ain't had no food?
You eat no food?
Nah, they ain't, they ain't have what I like.
I don't like that many things.
Oh, okay.
You know what I'm saying?
I'm more chicken, chicken tender.
You know what?
They have no chicken tenders?
What the hell they have in there?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, I don't know.
I ain't go out.
I was a little afraid to go back there
because it was like 40 of them in there,
so I ain't want to go and eat their food.
That's the best part about it.
You glowed and eating their is.
I know, but we all, see, we already came,
you know what I'm saying?
We already came and they crib put our feet up on their coffee.
That's what you're supposed to do.
And you had mud on your shoes too.
What?
I'm telling you.
All that.
And I couldn't wait for it.
I was hoping it was going to be a glass table so they can see it.
That's what we do.
Look at him.
That's what I'm saying.
And Ocho, he was talking so much, Tread.
I tried to tell him.
I tried to tell him the script, but he didn't want to listen to me.
I want to listen to the butter.
Butter ain't going to lie to him before I lot to him.
Yeah, I know that.
Wait.
He wasn't listening to me.
He listening now.
I know that.
I know that.
So, and I told him that we get to play the Bengals.
You know what I'm saying?
This is going to be our confidence boosts because we ain't, we ain't scumped nobody all week.
Yeah.
Shut them out.
We go get.
I mean, they had a great thing about, but I think about all that practice time they put
in out there in the cold, playing the cold, and you don't score no points.
You might, you, you came out better, not even practicing.
I told, I tried to tell, Ocho, to tell them to stop the game.
It ain't, it ain't, it ain't worth.
It ain't work.
But see, what I was going to try to do, I was going to try to do,
I was going to try to get a little scrimmage in with them since they season over,
get some more confidence about him.
Hey, they might have what sign you to the practice squad, buddh.
That's what they, that's what I'm saying.
I was this, listen, I was already on the field.
I was this close to the line.
I could, I could do that.
All they had to do is give me some short-up bag, butter, butter, stay ready.
I ain't got to get ready because I stay ready.
You got to look at my film.
Listen, I'm telling you, you got to look at my film.
If something ain't on the flow, something wrong when you look at my film.
Some got to be on that ground.
Man.
Boy, it looked like you said.
Boy, it sounded like you had a great time.
Listen, I had an amazing time.
This is one of the best days in my life.
To see it, to see a game up close and to see it like you saw it, to be in the suite,
to be down there on the field, to actually see that, you know,
to actually see a play being run.
And to see the guy that you watch on 10.
television is an incredible feeling.
Bro, you probably do understand.
I understand a little bit, buddy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It was amazing, though.
And that would be my first, like, NFL game ever.
Oh, that's the first time you've ever been to a game?
First time.
The closest I can to that was like a Nova State football game.
Oh, man.
So your first game, you actually owned the field.
That's what I'm saying.
Now, when I go to another one, I'm going to be like, when I'm getting out.
Yeah, you can see, that's the thing.
See, because once you get, once you get, you know, you get an opportunity,
you go to a suite and you get to go all behind the scenes.
Watching the game and the stand is not the same.
It's not.
You spawned now.
The thing is, though, I got a little, I got a little glimpse of when they kicked me out.
I had to go out there then.
So, so, you know, it was still cool, though.
It was, it was amazing.
I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, but I'm, I'm more ecstatic that we got that these guys got to win.
That's what I'm saying.
And it's part of the script.
I've been trying to preach the script a whole time.
They had to get, they thought they thought they was going to come in the bank and win without no reprocessesies.
Gosh, so they got to be insane.
Some got to be wrong with them.
Hey.
Some got to be.
Man, look, who do, uh, uh, uh, are the, uh, are the, uh, are the, uh, uh, are the, uh,
Ravens got next. Who they got next, buddy got next, buddress? Oh, they go to New England or
New England come to us? It's in Baltimore. Yeah, they got the Patriots at Baltimore.
Then y'all got Patriots at home at Packers and Steelers. Yeah. But listen, listen
that that's why we had to get this confidence. Yeah, that was a confidence. They had to pick
What we did to him today?
That helped.
That go a long way, long way.
It was beautiful to see, like, you know what I'm saying?
My dog, see, I met Jamar Chase today, you know what I'm saying?
It was beautiful to see him get double-team to stuff.
I actually enjoyed it.
I was trying to tell the people in the vicinity.
We ain't got no harm for it.
We didn't like him a lot.
We just wanted to tap his pockets a little bit.
See what he got on him.
That's all we asked.
That's all we want to do.
Oh, hello.
Hey, Chad, check this out.
The Bengals reportedly did not remove snow from the seats at Paycourt Stadium,
despite NFL rules requiring snow and ice be cleared from all seating areas before the game.
The Bengals faced an apparent violation of league policy.
Man, you had snow and you're still in your seat?
Oh, no, I wasn't, nah.
I went out there with them.
I wasn't.
Hey, I don't know about that.
That ain't, that ain't, that ain't, that ain't, that ain't, that's what I'm talking about, brother.
Yeah, they ain't, uh, uh, they ain't nothing, my business.
So, um, you know, but the game was, that was amazing.
That was amazing.
Uh, man, man, congratulations, man.
I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Glad you got an opportunity to see the good guys win today, man.
Uh, thanks for the support of nightcap.
I'm glad you got an opportunity to meet Ocho, Ocho laid it out for you.
That's unbelievable, man.
Thank you very.
much for supporting us the nightcap family thanks for telling all your friends and
loved ones about us and we appreciate that man thank you very much thank you
thank you all right bro how we go yes sir ocho sick uh uh one fan tweeted ocho wanted to take
my girlfriend to the first NFL game for a birthday was super stoked to see the bingles decided
snow clearing would be left to the fans bonus points for not allowing cardboard to be brought
into the stands instead.
Instead, we got to stand on the snow and ice
and freeze our feet.
Ocho, y'all that cheap, Ocho.
Hey, I don't know.
I don't know the rules.
I don't know protocol.
You see what they do in Buffalo?
You see what they do with every other NFL stadium.
Green Bay, Buffalo, Chicago,
when snow normally fans, they come and help remove it.
But if they don't, the team must
remove all snow ice from the seats.
Hey, see, I didn't know that.
You heard what you just said in Green Bay in Buffalo.
Wherever you said, I thought most of the fans, wherever they cease are, they just take
the snow and, you know, put it on the flow.
I didn't know it was a team.
You supposed to remove that.
Oh, okay.
See, I never knew that.
I never knew it was up to the team to be able to remove.
snow before the fans come in. I thought it's something that the fans always did collectively as a
good. Uh, welcome to the frozen jungle. We saw fans scraping ice off their seats with credit
cards. The wind chill was around three minus three at kickoff. Now you see why Joe Burrow wants to get
out of there. Now you see why Joe Burrow want to get out of there.
Hold on. Wait, he didn't, he didn't say that. Is that what you're trying to say? You're putting
words in Joe mouth. Joe, I didn't want to get out of it. Let me tell you, what Joe said? What
Joe said, what Joe said is he sent a message.
He sent a message in riddle form that you and I understand.
There are changes that need to be made.
That's what he said.
I walked up to Joe.
I walked up to Joe before the game.
And I walked him and I asked him, you know, I'm sure he's pictures,
his cameras out there.
And I made sure to whisper, I say, everything good.
He say, yeah, everything is good.
And I whispered, I say, man, don't scare me like that again.
He looked at me, he winked, and he smiled.
Everything ain't good.
Listen, I knew exactly what the message was.
I gave you, I gave you two to three years.
Joe Burrow will be playing somewhere else.
Yeah, listen, in two to three years,
the changes that he wants with that little message he said last week.
Yeah, last week.
Oh, no, that was this week.
With that little message he said, I guarantee to you,
no changes are going to be made.
You know why those changes are going to be made?
Because that's a family-run business like most NFL teams.
And family, uh-uh-uh-ah-ah-brown.
He ain't changing.
He ain't changing.
I think things going to change for the better
because I don't like this feeling.
The players don't like this feeling.
The fans don't like this feeling.
Listen, the culture in Cincinnati has changed.
It's been different.
It's been different.
Now, this has been a down year for us.
What did you mean?
The down year.
Y'all missed the playoffs the last three years.
Since y'all went to the super since y'all went,
when last time y'all went back?
Have you ever been?
It was the last three or the last two years?
Last two.
Last two.
Last two.
But it's cool.
We're going to be straight.
We're going to be straight.
Burrow leaving.
After the game, Jamar Chase says he's never been in a situation
where he had to uplift Joe Burrow.
He might have to start doing that.
You never know what he might be going through.
Fans were yelling at Joe behind the bench all second half.
Chase finally stood up and yelled,
Hey, run your ass.
asshole yeah hey they know you know like you know you know what I was I was
sitting up high I was I was I was sitting up high so I wasn't able to I wasn't able to
yeah that what they would say I mean yeah you know the fans frustrated huh the fans
are frustrated they they want changes changes need to train in Minnesota I'll take
JJ McCarthy again we'll give you three first round picks yeah come again
three first round picks and JJ McCarthy
No, no, we're good.
Joe, Joe'll be here.
Okay.
Joy, be here.
Joy, be here.
Hey, honestly, like, today was embarrassing, huh?
Yeah.
It was embarrassing.
Not just as a former player, but as a fan of football in general,
and a team that I played for, a team that, you know,
I've given my blood, sweating tears for it to put on a performance like that today.
And I had company with me, too, huh?
I had, I bought company with.
with me. It was his first NFL game.
His first NFL game,
he had a chance to watch his favorite team
meet his favorite player,
you know, Le Marvelous,
Jackson, and that's what we do.
Zero points?
We practice Wednesday, we practice Thursday,
we practice Friday. We got walked through on Saturday
and we paid the day and scored zero points.
That's exactly what y'all did.
And it ain't no surprise.
Boy, that's bad, that boy.
What you want?
Oh, you know what?
Let me put this 80, too.
That's bad.
Hey, let me tell you something.
Hey, hey, it's funny how you kick a man while he's down.
Oh, so I ain't say nothing.
I just got, it was cold in here.
I know, but I'm just saying,
just like you've been coming at me all,
you've been coming at me all day, the memes, you know,
the graphic team.
I don't know who, hey, I don't know who's a part of my graphic team,
but boy, they need a raise, boy.
Hey, they, hey, them some creative folk, but they're creative.
And like, yeah, and I, I could be honest, because we family, you know, I don't, like, I share, I shared a tear today.
I, I shared a tear today walking out the stadium and it was so cold, they froze.
The tears froze on my face.
They froze in my face because I promised I needed to get it out now.
Zero points.
Do you know how bad you got to be to score?
No points?
See?
You practice.
I mean, think about that.
Just think about it.
I'm saying.
Hey,
before you keep going,
think about my mental health.
Think about what I'm going through right now.
You ain't going through,
you ain't going through it far enough.
Let me put you back here in some stuff.
Think about it,
if you practice all week,
let me say,
you got practice all week.
So you practice Wednesday,
Thursday,
half a day, Friday,
and you get to practice
for about 15 minutes on Saturday.
And on Sunday,
I'm going to give you an hour
to make a free.
throw.
Yeah, you're right.
Y'all couldn't even get in field goal range?
So what happened to sportsmanship?
When?
You don't grow.
We ain't in elementary school.
We get paid.
I'm just saying right now, I know, but you don't,
you don't feel bad for me at all?
So you, you rather, you rather my mental health suffer right now.
I don't want to, you know what I'm uplift you.
After the show,
if I'm going to call you to make sure you okay.
But in the meantime, I'm about to tear your ass up.
Hey, because I already know, I already know.
I already know if the shoe was on the other foot,
I wouldn't say, if the shoe was on another foot,
I wouldn't do this.
I wouldn't do this to you.
Because all you were talking about,
can't say foot or ball.
But you had to chat.
Listen, I, hey, hold my, listen, I can't say foot or ball.
I can't say touch or down because we didn't even get that.
Hell, I can't even say field or goal.
We didn't get that either.
Yeah, I mean, they got graphics for my team.
They just had to hold on for like three months.
Because we ain't lost.
We ain't lost.
It's cool.
We got 12 wins.
Yeah, y'all good.
12.
Y'all good.
As a matter of fact, we clinched the playoff spot.
You did?
Hold on.
Hey, you cleanse us, you, you, hey, listen, all y'all going to do is y'all going to play one more week than we do.
That's it.
Y'all, I don't even why y'all playing.
Ain't nothing to play for.
Hey, y'all, y'all, hey, listen, y'all going to meet us in Cancun anyway.
Oh, Joe.
We just going to be there week earlier.
I told, I told you the same thing I told the Cowboys, they say, if you book international flight 90 days in advance, you get the best price.
I told y'all to book
Y'all flights in October
The same thing I told the Cowboys
90 days
So middle of October
Miller November
Middle of December
January
Anywhere you want to go
Y'all want to go to Toulun
You want to go to Jamaica
Ocho Rios
The Seychelles
The Mawks
Wherever
I like it
You feel a good
Huh
You feel in yourself
You feel yourself
I'm a team
lost, it's cool, we down.
Listen, it's, it's like, like, you know how pathetic.
Think about it. You watch the Browns.
They were pathetic. They scored
three points.
God day.
Wasn't able to get in field.
Y'all wasn't able to get in field. Hold on. You mean to tell me
you got a top five quarterback and arguing
the best receiver in football and you couldn't get
in field goal range?
I mean, we had some plays that we
would like back. We had some touchdowns that
should have been touchdown. We had some plays
that were missed. Obviously, I can see
sitting in the stands, but when you feel side as a quarterback,
sometimes you miss it.
I don't know about no take. I don't know what you'd like to have back.
I know the fans like to have their money back for that performance.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, listen, I wouldn't blame them right now.
I wouldn't blame them.
I'm just honestly, there's nothing I can say.
I can't, I can't defend any part of the organization.
Don't worry about what we do.
We're talking about Cowboy fans.
Y'all going to lose in the playoffs.
Y'all losing in the regular season.
Y'all that they make the playoffs.
So don't worry about what we,
do. Don't worry about it.
Hey, boy, you're right. You ride high on your
Ravens and your Broncos. Congratulations.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Congratulations.
Why you mentioned my team? I'm just
I'm saying congratulations. I'm saying congratulations.
I'm not talking trash. I know we got a lot of Ravens fans
in the chat. I know we have a lot of Broncos.
Now, you're talking about congratulations.
Yeah, we're good. We don't want that.
We don't want nothing. I'm showing sports.
I'm sure on sportsmanship and humility.
that's me that's me
I could admit when I'm defeated
I'm defeated oh cho I've been
I've been preparing you this for two years
I can tell you prepared for the season
I said oh cho you're not making the playoffs
well you only knew that because Joe got
I told you you weren't going to
make the playoffs you told
you told me
and I told you I said I don't even know why Joe coming back
all they're going to do is make himself man
he going to win a game
and the next thing you know,
y'all are going to lose out,
he's going to be mad,
frustrated that he came back,
put himself in harm's way,
for what?
I get it.
Look, we're not wired to sit on it.
If we're healthy,
we're going to play.
That's how we're wired.
That's how he's wired.
But your team sucks.

In episode 799 of the Meat Eater podcast, host Stephen Rinella talks with author and Old West historian Mark Lee Gardner.
Whenever there was a posse form, Doc Holliday was always there to help out.
So he's like, I'm sick, I'm half dead, I'd love to throw in.
So he just gets excited when there's a posse.
It's like your buddy drew a tag, you know.
