Hello, ladies and gentlemen, and thank you for joining us for another episode of Nightcap.
Wow, wow, wow, wow, what an outstanding game by the Texans defense, eight sacks, three takeaways, two picks, and a fumble recovery.
They pressure Josh Allen all night if some of you, if you would have told me the Texans defense could do this.
We know they're outstanding.
This is the best defense in football statistically.
We're going to be able to take this man down.
eight times, take the ball away three times, I wouldn't believe you.
But the Texas defense rose to the occasion,
and when they absolutely had to have it again,
it was their defense, and that is the mark of a great defense.

The Buffalo Bills, excuse me, the Texans, 23, the Buffalo Bills 19.
Texans D, eight sacks, two pick, one fumble recovery, countless, countless pressure.
They probably would have him another three or four times had it not been Josh Allen.
Yeah.
Because he got the ball out a couple of times, Ocho, and he was able to get out of harm's weight.
But I thought they did an unbelievable job.
Will Anderson Jr. is about to get him a Hutchinson contract.
Woo-hoo.
A he did a real deal.
The nail hunter on one side.
Will Landerson, Jr.,
You got Mario Edwards, Jr.
You got Rankin's.
You have Barnett.
They got a front that they can rotate guys in,
Tuololo got in on the action.
And the back end is solid.
You got Stingley, you got last.
They're really, really good on the back end.
But their front four, they front six is exceptional.
And they did an outstanding job considering the offensive player of the week,
Josh Allen, three touchdown.
There's only two men that's ever had three touchdowns rushing Ocho,
three touchdown passes in a game.
Otto Graham did it in 54 in the championship game.
Josh Allen has done it twice.
They made Josh Allen seem normal.
Oh, yeah, absolutely.
They made him seem normal.
And Josh Allen is anything but normal.
And so I don't think that's the way Josh played tonight,
that was all because of that Texas defense.
I ain't nothing with you no more.
Now, I told you Josh Allen was supposed to have 255 yards.
That's all I needed.
Look what he got.
He had 253.
That means he was under.
I said he was going over.
Before you go, Ocho, here's the Texas defense.
Number one in total defense, first in points allowed, third in defense, third and
down percentage, third and past defense, third in rush defense, fifth and takeaways.
Take off.
Hey, listen, around the board, the Texas defense on around the board on all three levels,
the front, second level, and that back end is phenomenal.
For one, I know what Will Anderson Jr. did tonight.
I know how he looked tonight.
But I want to give Kalyn Bullock some love, right?
I want to give Kalyn Bullock some love, two interceptions, forced fumble.
He made Shakir fumble early in the third.
I think it might have been the third.
Caleb Bullock was all over the place, huh?
He was.
He was all over the place where Anderson, they sat Josh Allen eight times, huh?
It almost looked like what we consider Superman at most times,
with his ability to extend plays and playoff script,
it looked like he didn't even be long out there.
They kept you, they had him uncomfortable
all game. He missed the...
The kryptonite boys.
Yeah, basically, that's exactly what it was.
And for me, for the Texans, right,
if we can get to the offense it,
and God damn brother Mills,
David Mills was only 16 for 30 with two TDs.
He only had 153 yards.
He left some plays out there, Ocho.
I know you saw it.
I know you saw what I saw.
I was tweeting.
I was like, bro, how many throws,
how many TD throws are he going to leave out there?
Oh, yeah.
He got the guy open, you hit the guy in the back of the head.
You got the guy.
I'm talking about that's the defender you hitting in the back of the head.
He underthowing the ball.
But listen, I'm not sure when C.J. Stroud comes back.
But when he does, when he does, if that offense, if C.J. Stroud can elevate that offense
and meet that defense just halfway.
We don't need you to be top five in the NFL.
Just meet them halfway.
It can be scary.
It can be scary, especially if they can get in that doorway and getting them playoffs.
But that's a defense that don't nobody want to see.
at all the defenses and that's the question offensively because this defense is as good as
advertised amico rand does a great job of setting the people i forget the uh the defensive coordinator
that was calling the plays tonight but the uh miko turned a play calling over to him yeah but when you look
at danelle hunter had two sacks will anneson junior had two and a half sacks to a low low had a sack
tim settle junior had a sack mario edwards had half a sack barnett had a sack uh i mean hell the only
but it didn't get a sack with me and you.
And I'm in New York and you in Miami.
Hell, we'd have been to Houston.
We might have got to have a sack together.
And I got one more thing.
One more thing.
For those of you that in the chat,
I don't understand why officer coordinators do this, right?
You understand how well your defense is playing.
Yes.
I think in the fourth quarter,
toward the end of the third quarter,
going ahead and into the fourth quarter,
you're getting all these turnovers, right?
You're getting all these opportunities for the Texans offensively.
What is what the goddamn conservative play calling
and just because you have the lead.
Why not be aggressive?
Put your goddamn foot to the goddamn pedal
and put the game away.
Put the game away.
So it doesn't come to a nail-batter,
a nail-biter at the end
where they run a goddamn pitching ladder
on 4th and 27 and get it
and have an opportunity to win the goddamn game.
It shouldn't even have to come to that
if with them last three offensive series
when you had the ball, you run the ball first down.
You run the ball second down.
And then it's 3rd in 9 and 3rd and 8
and it's damn they're hard to get
it's hard to get because you don't want to put
in that area in the field it absolutely is
yeah and you don't want to put the ball in harm's way
so you don't you don't call plays
that can put the ball in harm's way on third down
for brother David Mills
you know it's maybe you see their strab was in there
maybe the play calling is a little bit more aggressive
because you trust him a little bit more with the football in his hands
but like come on that's the defense is playing
balls out
put the game away when you're
got the opportunity six seven minutes in the game four minutes in the game you got the ball
you run a damn ball three times in a row like come on man the defense no they know that you don't
trust davis mills so they know there's a better than 80% chance that you're going to run it so
what do we call a run blitz on first down you stop you for no yard no game you see it's plays
like that ocho and you had an opportunity uh kirk dropped one in the end zone he was worried about
his feet and forgot to catch the ball.
Yeah. Because Mills put it right in his hands, Ocho. He's trying
to drag his feet. Now, if you
go look at the adjustment Higgins had,
Higgins had a play on the sideline,
he's, bro, you got to,
Ocho, we're going to say pause. You got to go limp.
Ocho, you got to go limp on the
sideline, Ocho, that's a catch.
Oh, Joe, you can't put it any better.
You can't take that full extended
last step. He gets his right foot
down and he tries to take a full
left. No, you got to go limp there.
That is really,
even though he had an opportunity, it's not like,
and then he came later in the fourth quarter,
he had a sideline catch and he tow-tuffed it.
In that situation, you got to go limp on the sideline, bro.
You can't take that full extended step.
You got to be self-aware.
It's all about being self-aware
in understanding where you are on the field,
knowing how much room you have.
Yes.
And one of the things that you do,
once you come out that break,
it's all about knowing where you are,
knowing when to allow the body to go limp,
to make sure you can ensure the catch
and make sure you get feet in.
Because, first of all, you're probably
at a situation like that, you're what,
probably two, three yards outside the number?
So you're going to speed cut it.
You're going to hit 10 row to 12.
So you already know that.
Yeah.
There are some plays, the center for the Houston Texans.
They drop Joy Bosa.
They bring the linebacker from depth.
They got three guys blocking two.
He lets 50 run right in the gap.
Block, if that's you, it's a perfect.
You can't ask for anything better,
Ojole.
They drop one guy, Shultz go away.
And now you've got three guys.
You got the center, guard, and tackle.
Yeah.
And the center and the guard, they're blocking two guys,
one guy, and 50 come right up the gut.
Yeah.
Bro, that's perfect.
Center.
All you got to do is just push the guy onto the guard.
And you're like, come on, 50.
I'm going to hit you dead in your damn mouth.
Yeah.
That's all you got.
It's stuff like that.
On the, the first play,
they came out with kind of like a little blitz.
And Shakira.
okay secure comes in motion he comes in short motion and then he bellies back okay you brain pressure
guy you from depth that is a punt returner that is a kick returner what do you think the likelihood
from 15 20 yards deep you are going to be able to tackle secure in a one-on-one situation in the open field
in the open field it's not happening in the open field it's not happening I don't care if you come up
under control I don't care if you come up and come to balance he's going to make you miss
Every time.
Go make you miss.
Yes.
Every time.
I got a better chance of catching the wind.
And that's not happening.
It's things like that on the hook and ladder.
I'm like, oh, my goodness.
Hey, really 4-12.
Do y'all not see the guys crossing?
Y'all don't see it.
So, y'all don't.
So, Ocho, I'm in front.
I can.
It's kind of like I'm coming, I'm driving my car.
Yeah.
Oh, I see that guy.
I see a guy about that pedestrian about to get in the crosswalk.
Yeah.
Oh, I see this guy.
But you know what?
on that play on a fourth and 27
when Palmer catches that ball
as aggressive. You know how aggressive
that goddamn defense is. So
they locked in. They took a B-line
straight for Palmer and didn't even see the
goddamn ladder. Didn't even see the hook and ladder
come around with Shakir, which is
why they was able to get. Fourth of 27,
ain't no goddamn plays for fourth and
27? Ain't no
play for that. And also,
and here's the thing, is that the guy was
the guy that was trailing
Palmer, I mean, he's like, bro,
You ain't fin to catch him.
Everybody on that side got to rally to the football.
Oh, yeah.
But they were...

Maybe the industry thinks that we just started skating five years ago

It's a no-fluff conversation about putting in the year,

Everything's going to be okay.
on the other side, you know, just push through it.
And, you know, ironically, the root of the word spirit is breath.
Wow.
Which is why one of the most revolutionary acts that we can do as peoples just breathe.
Next to the wound is their gifts.
You can't even find your gifts unless you go through the wound.
That's the hard thing.
You think, well, I'm going to get my guess.
I don't want to go through all that.
You've got to go through the wounds you're laughing.
Listening to other people's near-death experiences, and it's all they say.
In conclusion, love is the answer.

advice so you know who to start, sit, drop, and trade to bring that championship trophy home.
I just want to remind everyone how good Rishie Rice was last season. And there's three healthy
games. He was the wide receiver two in fantasy. I think Rishie Ryshe goes off this week.
The Chiefs come on a flip pass to Rice. This side. Touchdown! Remandre Stevens is my sleeper
this week. This is a matchup where I think I can slide in Stevenson into my flex position and he
could deliver double digit points this week. Drake takes the snap. Hands it off. Remodery running it
Right. And we're running into the end zone. Touchdown!

able and chat you've heard me say it many times the mark of any great unit can you get done
what you need to get done when you got to yes at the end of the day their best unit will
i want my best unit on the field locho if i'm down three points if i'm down and i need to get a
touchdown i want my best unit on the field yeah if i need to get a stop i want my best unit on
the field so i would have trusted the defense to stop job
Ash Allen, more than I would have trusted the Houston, Texas offense to go get a game-winning
field goal or something of that nature.
So that's the unit that I want on the field.
That is it.
That's what I want.
And that's what they got.
And Miko probably say, hey, we're going to win to lose this game.
I mean, it had been heartbreaking as well as that defense had played to lose that game
in the final seconds.
Now, we would look back, Ocho, we looked back like the offense did have numerous opportunities.
And they would have.
But when you got those,
you got those Kryptonite boys,
you got them headhunters
like they got out there,
no, bro,
I can't ask for a better situation.
I want Hunter,
I want Anderson,
I won't settle,
I won't Rankins,
I want Edward Jr.,
I won't,
I won't Stingley,
I want you guys on the field.
You put the game in the hand.
I don't want y'all,
come on, oh,
I don't want that.
I want y'all ass on the field.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, I like it.
Obviously, me being an officer guy,
I prefer.
You don't want,
you want you Carson and T's,
AJ on the field.
Hold on, but this is the thing.
I don't even want it to come down to the last few seconds.
I want to put the game early when I had the ball with four, five minutes to go.
Yeah, you could have made it 27.
You could have made it 27.
Bingo.
Yeah, you could have made it 27.
Yes.
So, so regards to what they did, there was no, there was no way to come back.
Regardless of what they did.
So now we could relax on the sideline and just play defense.
We ain't got nothing to worry about.
But here we go.
Nail Biter, at the end.
Now we have to rely on that defense.
But again, as good as they are,
there's a reason why they're number one.
It's a reason why they're number one.
So I really enjoyed that.
Well, I read, that was one good game.
If I'm not mistaken,
some of the Thursday night games have been doozies, huh?
They've been snooze fest.
They've been snooze fest.
Yeah, but not the night.
This was an interesting game.
Hey, this was a very good game.
Ocho,
Bill's O'Line, they kicked your ass.
They kicked your ass.
Now, I think the right tackle
ended up getting bench.
Now, I didn't see him get,
hurt, but I know they had a right, they had a right tackle adjustment.
Yeah.
And Dawkins, who's their best offensive lineman, he got work tonight.
It happens.
It happens to the best of us.
We've all had moments in games where we, hey, I was this and Ocho, you've been that.
And somebody get the best of us.
Mm-hmm.
As a unit, offensive line pass, pro.
They got work.
They got work.
They get a number on y'all.
They work overtime on y'all ass.
Yeah.
They whipped your ass like y'all owed them money.
I'm not sure if somebody made a I don't know what went on but when you do somebody like that
you whipping them like they owe you money absolutely absolutely not the rent do nah he owe me money
I'm gonna whip his ass and boy they gave him work yeah well Anderson june I will say this
there was a third and 13 I think a 13 12 13th uh 13 situation you got to relate to your defensive
tackle if you go inside you've got to tell him to loop you both can't get inside
Because you both went inside, and guess what happened?
Y'allin went outside.
The back to open.
They're back to open, yeah.
You cannot do that.
You've got to relay that.
I know you quit, and I know, like, ooh, I got his ass set up.
I don't been beating him around the edge.
You've got to been beating him all.
You beat him around the edge one time.
You want next time, you spin him inside.
So you're having your way with it.
But I'm just saying, for future reference, you've got to be careful at that.
You've got to communicate with your DT.
Hey, bro, check this out.
Hey, I'm across his faith.
You bubble outside.
Yeah.
I see, you know what?
They got a community.
Matter of fact, that's a stunt.
And if you call it a stunt, it has to be called in the huddle.
They can't just make that up, you know.
Make it.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
We can make it up.
Because I think so?
If I'm Dimeco Ryan, I trust, I trust Will Landers.
Okay, okay, okay.
I trust him enough that I'm going to give him the leeway.
I'm going to give him a latitude.
Right, right.
But I need him to convey that with the DT.
Is D tackle?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Hey, hey, bro.
this out. We're going to run an E.T.
Yeah. And down, tackle around.
Hey, hey, listen, when they can go on their own script like that on their own page,
off script based on what's called, and they can communicate that and then make the play.
Yes. Hey.
Because now we got, now we got inbox then. Because look, I want you to go up to field
because I'm going inside. And if you see you up to field, he's going to dive inside.
That'll give me enough opportunity that I can get it. Right. And if you come out of the back
though, you'll be right there.
waiting on you, hey, you right there.
That, that's, that's, that's, that's the, that was the only thing defensively that I
will say, because I thought they, I thought they played a perfect game tonight.
Yes, absolutely.
Look, like I said, you know, we can, we can nitpick the guy playing from depth because
when Shakuror going that short motion, yeah, you bring pressure, he bubbles out the back
side, you got him one-on-one.
He is a punt returner.
Yeah.
The, the number one job is a punt returner is to make the first guy miss.
Yeah.
Hey, the first guy, you make him miss.
Now, he don't even count.
He's looking at you like the punter.
Because they said, we got everybody else,
if we got everybody else blocked,
what you got to do to the punter?
Make it miss.
So that's how he's looking at you with all that space?
Yeah, you're not, you're not tackling nobody.
It's not happening.
They're too fast, they're too quick.
And matter of fact, if the punt return of whoever it is,
like someone like Shakur,
Shakur's not a burner.
No, no, no, no.
But he, listen, he's agile.
His ladder movement is phenomenal.
and it don't matter who you are,
he's making the first man miss.
Yes, yes.
So you just got,
you just got to understand that,
Ojoo.
You've got to understand
if I got this man,
man to man,
and they bring pressure,
I've got to close the distance.
It's the same thing,
like if a blitzer,
if a blitzer is coming from depth,
what I got to do is that I got to close the distance
because if I let him come with a head of steam,
I don't give a damn how good a blocker I am.
He's going to sit me in the quarterback lap.
I get a prime example.
look at Nicoby Dean.
David Montgomery is a really good blocker.
Yes.
But he let Dean get a head start.
Yeah.
He,
bow,
boom,
sack the quarterback.
Yeah.
So that's the thing.
Number one rule,
and Chad,
I'm trying to explain to you
because I used to have to block
from the back field.
Yeah.
Hey, number one rule says,
Hey, Sharpie,
you got to close the distance.
Yeah.
So guess what?
I'm going,
I'm going to meet your ass in the A gap.
And in the fun,
I'm not going to let you get no head of Steve on Joe.
I'm closing that distance.
Hey,
I'm not for letting you get no.
running start? How about, how about
if I'm flat-footed, Ocho, I'll let you get
a run and start. How the hell am I supposed
to stop that? That man, 2.30, 240,
he got a running start.
You can't. I just say for the sake of argument, the running back
210, 215, so 240
with a running start, a 210,
2-15 running back, flat-footed, he's going to
sit you on your ass.
Listen, I... Every time.
Yep, I don't care what the laws
of physics say. I don't care how low you get.
You're going to lose that battle
every single time.
As a DB, as a DB, as a
and you see Shakur bubble before he get that ball,
not only do you got to close the distance.
Not only do you got to close the distance,
you got to close it aggressively, and you got to shoot right away.
You got to shoot, you got to shoot for the legs right away.
Inside out.
Yes.
Because the thing, and it's going to be hard because the thing is Ocho is that you
coming down, I mean, how far he was, he's coming down with all that space
because there's nobody over there for him.
Oh, Lord.
Please don't let it throw.
Damn, he threw this ball.
Oh, Lord.
Lord, come on.
Hey.
Hey.
Listen, and you know what's funny?
If you,
if you haven't closed the distance
before he get that ball in his hands,
you're assed out.
None you can do.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're done.
Hey, you like,
hey, you like Grandma's Thanksgiving dinner.
She started cooking that thing Wednesday early.
So by three o'clock,
hey, by three o'clock,
because that's what all my augers and arms
would go come over.
Oh, that thing's going to be done.
That thing's falling off the ball.
own too. But the Texas
defense, that was, that
was might have been as an impressive
and we've seen, you know, we've seen
some Broncos, you know, get nine
sacks and stuff like that. But
against that guy.
Yeah. After what he's just done
and who he is.
Right. To sack him eight times
to pressure him as many times
he did coming off the game that he
came up of. Yeah.
Oh, Joe, we're not going to touch on it.
but
Kean Coleman Coleman
They could have used it
You got your work cut out
getting back on the field
I hold on
Hold on hold on
Now I got something
I got something
for Quito
Listen what you got
I don't really think
He got his work cut up for him
Because if you think about it
Tonight's game
Because
The goddamn defense was so good
What did the bills
Have to do all night
They had to go
Down the field methodically
Yes
They had to go
Little by little
chunk there wasn't no big chunk plays now what is keon what is keon coleman really good at
give you opportunities to have those 50 50 balls you know sometimes sometimes when it's him
out there them in them 50 50 balls they turn to 80 20 they turn in 90 10 so he's his ability to give
you chunk plays okay and then get you 40 50 yards they could have used that tonight let me ask
your question who you think he beat him stingley or lassaner i mean listen you got you
Stingley and Lasseter?
You know who has the height advantage?
Keon Coleman is six-four.
He's out jumping both of them.
But, see, the thing is, his problem is that if it's not in the red zone
and I can't use my athletic ability to get over you.
Because, see, his problem is getting off press.
Yeah.
It's hard.
Oh, Cho, it's hard to jump when somebody got these in your chest.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You're right, you're right.
Listen, Lasseter is the real deal, too.
What?
I know we always hype up Stingley, you know,
on what he can do with man to man, especially in Bumper Run.
But that goddamn last one, man, there ain't no stop.
Gabe Davis was just close.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Getting that foot in.
Hey, he was this close.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He was this close because we know Josh, he loves throwing the Gabe Davis now.
It's not an accident.
I mean, sometimes it's just, you know, he got, he got paid, he went to Jacksonville.
He was there a year.
Yeah.
He comes back and he's.
you know, right back in the swing of things with Josh Allen.
It's like that sometimes, though, Joe.
Alvin Harper had the same situation with in Dallas,
got big money to go to Tampa.
Hey, Unk, let me tell you something now,
it's a different ball game when you that won.
If you really, let me, hey,
if you're really not who you think you are
and you don't have that support and cast around you,
and you're the main man, you can get exposed.
You hear me?
Hey, it gets, it gets, it gets real iffy.
When you're number one, when you're that number one guy.
But another thing.
Well, get iffy when you're number two and they pay you to be number one
and all of a sudden you have to be number one.
That's what get iffy.
It ain't, how many times we've seen,
and I ain't going to call no name, but y'all know what you're talking about.
He played with Pittsburgh.
Yeah.
He's with it to AB.
Oh, yeah.
They let AB go.
Hey, it's different.
And now all of a sudden, all the attention is going.
going to be on you. Now you get, so now you get ram. Now you get everybody's number one corner.
Yeah, it's different. It's different. But, but, but, but, but, but offensively for
Keon Coleman, there, there, there, there is a, there's a, there's a, there's a niche that you can do
where you can add an explosive dynamic to where the bills don't have to march down the
goddamn field over and over. Josh Allen doesn't have to play Superman and be accurate on every
single throw on all the all the short and intermediate routes you can add that special
dynamic of explosive plays to help that offense out so young bull get yourself together
lock in and let's let's let's finish this season off strong ain't a whole lot of defense that
they're going to face that's the Houston Texans that that it's only it's only two others
it's only two others the only two other defenses that are similar to that that put up that
type of production statistically
defensively is the Browns
and the goddamn Broncos.
That's it.
That's it.
And two of the three,
you might have to face in the playoffs.
Yeah.
Now,
I know the Coast are going to do everything they can
to try to make sure they don't make the playoffs.
Yeah.
Because if I get an opportunity,
hey, I'm killing that with a sledgehammer.
I'm going to make sure your ass don't get the playoffs.
Because damn, I don't want you to knock me out.
And I know, and they got two times.
The Colts got to play.
If I'm not mistaken,
I think the Colts have to play the Texans twice
in the final seven games.
Go ahead.
And the funny thing about it,
goddamn Trajavius Ward is coming back.
Mm-hmm.
Brother Ward is coming back.
So now they got, I mean, they got a good,
they got sauce, Ward, shoot, Lasseter's coming back, though.
That's going to be nice, huh?
They need, uh, the Coles need buck.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
In far as Buck.
They put him on IRA, huh?
Yeah, I think he, I don't know, I don't know if it was his shoulder.
I don't know what the injury was, Ocho, but he's the key to that defense.
Yeah, because he's the guy.
I mean, that can generate pressure inside a detackle that can eat good against the run.
He can pass rush.
So he's going to be the key to that defense.
Yeah, you want Ward.
You're pairing with Salis Gardner, the offense.
Hey, you got Jonathan Taylor, who's in the MVP, offensive player the year running.
They've got a nice offense.
They got some, what, Pierce, and they got Pittman Jr.
They got Warren.
So they got good pieces offensive.
But boy, hey, this night
What the Texans put on tape tonight
That was a good old-fashioned
That was a clinic
Not only was it an ass-whiping
They put on a defense of clinic
Hey, again, Kailin Bullock
Boy, if you see this boy, I salute you, boy.
I salute you.
Real deal.
Well, hey, that a, hey,
Will Anderson was like,
Oprah, you get an ass whipping.
You get an ass whipping.
You get an ass whipping.
You get an ass whipping.
He, hey, hey, I whip it ass over here.
Uh-huh.
And matter of fact, matter of fact, you know what?
I'm glad you just said that because not only is he going to get a payday,
he's going to be the, he's going to be the next defense's end to reset the market.
He's that good.
He's that special.
He's playing.
He's been, he's everything he was advertised to be coming out of Alabama.
Yep.
He lived up to every bit of the hype.
He's going to reset the market.
He's, he's special, young.
They got, you know, they're going to have some decisions to make, you know,
CJ Stroud, going to be eight.
He's his third, hey, Anderson, that's not a bad situation.
I mean, look, they traded Deshaun.
See, that's what you do.
If you move on from a player, you hit with those pigs, CJ, Anderson.
You look at what they got.
I think Nicole Collins was one of those picks.
Right.
Hey, when you start, hey, Ocho, when you start like, okay, yeah, now we hit.
But you also understand how difficult it is to make sure you hit.
You know, there have been other teams.
Not to hit all of, I mean, they hit it out the park.
That's a grand slam.
Hey, every last picks turned out great.
Turned out great.
You got foundation pieces that you can have for the next decade.
Mm-hmm.
The next decade.
Yeah.
But boy, the number they did on the bills tonight and the bills are a very good
offensive team.
Very.
They got their ass handed.
The old line got their ass handed to them tonight.
they got their ass handed to him.
Cook ran the ball hard.
I'm surprised that the success that they had
running the football, they didn't run a little more.
I mean, that ain't enough, Ocho.
I mean, hold on.
Y'all don't mean to see?
Hold on.
Let me see what this, uh.
Wait, in that second quarter, when he broke.
James Cook had 17 rushes,
116 yards.
So they had 24 carries for a buck 43.
Mm-hmm.
Hey, most of that, most of that yard just came on that one long run.
Yes.
But he was getting five, six, seven yards
at some point in time,
I'd have to come to the realization,
yes, I want to throw the ball
but the offensive line
getting their ass handed to him.
Yeah, you're right.
Well, listen, if your officer's lying
getting their ass whoop,
the chance they're running the ball are slim.
But he, hey, no,
that's what you're running the ball,
it's the past since that was,
when you got those guys,
because you got to realize
they're jumping off the rock.
Yeah, they get enough.
Now, I will say this.
And I think the Mikoa one mistake.
They had an ineligible man down the field
And he declined it
Bro, I'm not declining nothing
Forth and the one with Josh Allen
Oh
And fourth and no, hell no
Back y'all ass up
Because what did they do, Ocho
Go for it and get the first down
Yeah
So you have to be
You have to understand who that is over there
He's 6, 5, 250
And he's gonna do
What he just the 8
Who? Who? First down.
Yeah, every time.
But, man, hey, they did an unbelievable job.
The Houston, Texas were three and five when they lost C.J. Stroud to concussion protocol.
Davis Mill has done his job, which he's held the fort down.
Now, they're three at O getting ready to make this tough stretch.
My tweet, my guy, oh, man, sorry, I don't even know the ref's name, but it looks like he popped in the keyleys.
That's what it looked like, the ref.
So now we got, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on that.
We got players getting hurt.
non-contact injuries now we got the refs going down yeah and then my college my college teammate
uh stump we call him stump his name is roy ellison he was the center uh uh my freshman year he was a
senior kind of took me under his wing and uh i was i talked to him from time to time but to see him
step in and step up so now you ain't got no referee because the umpire stump is an umpire
right right he's a umpired in three super bowl he's umpired in three super bowl now he goes
to the referee slot.
Thought he did an unbelievable job.
So you're, hey, Stump, I know you're going to see this.
SSU.
We pride, baby.
College by the C.
You can get anywhere from here.
Hey, now that I think about it,
hey, what do you think of,
hey, what do you think about me being a referee in the NFL?
You got to go through the steps.
You're not going to go, you're not going to go through the steps now.
You're not going to ref high school football,
then college football.
Because Stump went through the, he started a high school football.
Right.
Then he went to college football.
And then my last year,
in the league.
Right, right.
I was looking at the sheet
because, you know,
we get the big sheet on children.
I'm looking up like,
uh-huh.
Look at the reference.
Like, Roy Ellison.
I said, I know a Roy Ellison.
Right, right, right.
And it just happened to be him.
Yeah, I went to school with a Roy Ellison.
Right.
So I'm running on the field.
Sharp.
Sean.
I say, stop.
Hey.
Bye, dog.
Hey, now that I think about, you know,
everybody's not made equal, you know,
depending.
It's all on who you know.
life you know that right it's all about even if you don't go to high school route they're
going to want you to go to collegiate route okay so like pw i could i could be the referee like an
alabama game i don't know you i don't know the referee you probably got to start oh joe damn so you
just want to start as the referee because you do know a lot of these these referees started out
like something other than referees yeah but line judge hey hold on but but i don't think they
this me this me i play i played the game you know at the highest level i mean and hawkily son
I don't know if he started out as a ref
but he's Sean Hockley
You remember Ed Hockley got to
He had his arms out
Right, right
Yeah, yeah, I remember Ed, me and Ed was cool
His son is an official
Hey, well, I don't know
I can just see me out there
In that ref man with a little zebra shirt with the whistle
Nah, you can't
They're not going to let you do it
Why?
Because you're friends with too many guys in NFL
I ain't friends with them, not on the field
They don't know that
Now, off the field, we cool.
On the field, hey, straight face.
Straight face.
I'm locked in.
Nah, you don't mingle with, you don't, you don't mingle with two bitty-off.
Hey, holding number 64, 10-yard penalty.
Replay, second down.
They go pass on you, O.

This is Sacred Lessons, a space for reflection, growth, and collective healing.
What do you tell men that are hurting right now?
Everything's going to be okay on the other side, you know, just push through it.
And, you know, ironically, the root of the word spirit is breath.
Wow.
Which is why one of the most revolutionary acts that we can do as people just breathe.
Next to the wound is their gifts.
You can't even find your gifts unless you go through the wound.
That's the heart.
Then you think, well, I'm going to get my guess.
I don't want to go through all that.
You've got to go through the wounds you're laughing.
Listening to other people's near-death experiences, and it's all they say.
In conclusion, love is the answer.

Maybe the industry thinks that we just started skating five years ago.
because that's when they maybe started paying attention.
It's a no-fluff conversation about putting in the years,
stacking clips and receipts and still having to prove your worth

You break down the door, sick, now, like, hold the door for everyone.
We created good luck with that because we want to share our experience

and advice so you know who to start, sit, drop, and trade to bring that championship trophy
home. I just want to remind everyone how good Rishi Rice was last season. And there's three
healthy games. He was the wide receiver two in fantasy. I think Rishi Rice just goes off this
week. The Chiefs come on a flip pass to Rice. Their side. Touchdown! Remandre Stevens is my
sleeper this week. This is a match-out where I think I can slide in Stevenson into my flex
position and he could deliver double-digit points this week. Drake takes the snap. Hands it off.
Remodry running it right and running into the end zone. Touchdown. It's never too late to turn

Oh, Joe, there was plenty of speculation
to why the Cowboys star receiver, CD Lam, and George Pickens were bent
for the opening drive against the Raiders.
CD confirmed the rumors that he and Pickens
had been out past curfew, having dinner,
and a few drinks at Red Rock Casino.
Okay, okay.
CD, you should have hit your boy off.
I'd have came out with y'all.
However, CD made sure to shoot down any claim
that he was seen throwing up around 7.30 a.m.
Cedd said such a claim was offensive to him
because he knows how to hold his liquor.
Ocho.
Yeah.
What's up?
Oh, they knew, hey.
These guys do this, what they do the Ocho?
Hey, but shoot, hey, Unk, I'm going to be honest with you, boy.
I didn't, I had, not me personally, but it was a lot of folk late during my time either.
I'm not one.
I ain't no snitch, you know, I ain't going to do nothing like that.
You know, if I'm ever in the chair, I'm going to just plead the fifth, you know.
But I didn't seen it happen.
Now, now is a little bit different because we got cameras everywhere.
Everywhere.
Technology is a little different.
So when we played, didn't nobody know because it wasn't nobody.
to tell unless somebody close to you
snitched on you. Yep. Or you
told me yourself by actually showing up late
and most of the times it was kept in the house
now, boy everybody can see
because he got them camera phone.
Oh yeah. Because even when you try to go out
like, hey, can I get a picture? I said, no, I'm just trying
to lay low. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, somebody
going to know. Yeah, somebody going to know. Yeah, and if
you don't give him a picture,
they'd get mad and tweet, guess
who I just saw? He had to like an
asshole.
bro how you ghost me how you gave up my position
it's like also it's like the guy
that had uh went to the Airbnb and he left a negative rating
the guy that owned Airbnb sent the photo of his wife
to his wife of him going to the Airbnb with another woman
but that's real yes
that wasn't no that wasn't on Netflix show or that's real life
real life oh hey oh hey oh you got to see
You got to see
Hey, he got to get me
Hey, he got to get these dumbs
What?
Yeah, man
You don't be dumb.
Hey, you didn't mess up my marriage
On the counter,
it wasn't me, but it was you?
No, hold on.
You said you messed up my Airbnb.
Give me this bulljide rating.
Now people ain't going to want to come to my spot.
Hey, that's the true meaning of an eye for an eye.
Yeah.
But Ocho, the thing is,
if you were in the Rome, why would you even, why would you even do that?
Why would you leave a negative rating?
Right.
Because for one, you didn't think, you didn't think he would, you were stoop that low.
You didn't think he was, I mean, I'm thinking like most of these Airbnb's got cameras,
right?
And at, at very minimum, you can't handle camera.
You can handle camera in Airbnb, Airbnb.
At worst case, a ring camera.
Oh, a ring camera, yes.
Okay, yeah, you're right.
So you got, so how do you go get in?
Yeah.
Okay, you're right.
So with that.
Hey, that's, hey, hey, Keon, you see the difference.
CD and Pickens was out past curfew, having the dinner and a few drinks.
They missed the series.
You miss two games.
There's levels.
You're not at that level yet.
Hey, Keith, we're going to get you there, boy.
Come on, let you boy in the off-season.
I'm telling you, boy, we're going to get you right.
You hear me?
Let's go.
Ocho, I, me, and I'm sleepy.
I'm tired.
Hey, my thing is.
is, Ocho, when I, like, we, after we have a meeting, you know, we have our individual meetings,
then we have the team meeting, Mike going to play a video, he's going to play the top plays
from last week, we'll have a little music to it, and then, you know, hey, he'll give us our speech,
what he expects, blah, blah, blah, and then we go, we go get, you know, a meal.
Yeah. Ocho, I'm trying to go to back. I ain't, I ain't got it in me.
Yeah, see, you're a little different, huh? You old school, but you're a little structure.
you got a little discipline when it, when it came to your approach.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
The player today, they're a little bit more relaxed.
They're a little relaxed, you know, I want to be outside.
I want to enjoy myself.
I want to have a nice little meal, you know.
Okay.
See what's that there?
You know, we in Vegas.
You hear me?
I might, I might have tried to shake the covers, Borda.
Yeah?
Yeah, whoa, dog, yeah.
Hold on.
Hold on, no, no, before a game.
Nah, it's on my best game.
I can't, I can't do that, huh?
I can't, listen, my cutoff, my cutoff, my cutoff.
was Wednesday.
My cut off was Wednesday.
If I don't catch you between Sunday and Wednesday,
oh, no, I can't, I can't do nothing with you.
I can't, I don't want no, I don't want no, no lactic acid bill up.
I don't want no spaghetti legs.
So you got, you got to get that work in between that, huh?
I cut off with two hours for the game.
How about cut off?
Two hour for the game.
Hey, hold on.
Hey, but you ain't had no leg.
You out there running with no legs.
Nah, hey, no, Ojo.
You remember the movie Free Willie?
Yeah.
How Willie came about that pool?
Yeah.
That's me.
Free Willie.
How did I have played a leg?
Mm-hmm.
I think that's a.
I think that's a misnomer.
You think so?
I think so.
I don't know, boy.
I don't know.
No, I don't think so.
I had a couple.
I know for show I had a couple of real big games, real, real, real, real big ones.
After, okay, okay, okay, okay.
I'm not, listen, I'm not, I'm not.
Like 160, 160, 180, 120, well, you know, one-fitting, a couple of two.
Yeah, yeah, right, right, right.
Yeah, I don't know, maybe.
Maybe I'm not even superstitious.
I'm not even superstitious, but I just understand that feeling of horizontal activity
and then finishing and having to stand up and, oh, shoot, and just being a little wobbly, you know?
Not, not, not, not being in my right state of mind.
But damn, my equilibrium must be off.
So, yeah, I don't play like that.
I don't play like, oh, no.
You have me, Edocho.
You see, you see the position?
I don't play like that either, Joe.
But man, no, but in all seriously, no, I'm like, man, in today's time,
with, like you say, the technology, the way it is, somebody sees you, it's just hard,
it's hard, it's hard to get away, seating them owned it.
A, Jay will tell you a pick is to go out anytime he wants to after that performance
because Jayson, that's one of the best performance he's seen.
Matter of fact, with the way they plan in general,
As a one A and one B, man, y'all go ahead and do, do what you need to do.
Do what you need to do, you know, as long as you show up,
the way you, you've been showing up on the field,
man, we're good.
Hey.
We're good.
Just, hey, just, hey, just, hey, just, hey, just,
don't let nobody see y'all.
Don't let nobody see y'all going out.
Yeah, that's it.
That's it.
And when you come in, coming through the back, though.
George Pickett hopes his first season is not his last.
Pickett said, I love to be back, especially with CD and Dad.
All the guys, really.
Pickens is the fourth and final year of his rookie contract
that he signed with the Steelers at the second round in 2022.
He's scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent in March of March.
Pickens has 908 receiving yards through 10 games.
The most through the first 10 games of a player's tenure in Dallas franchise history.
He's second in receiving yards.
Ocho, you know, I know you won't pick to chase the bag.
would you be content if Pick stayed in Dallas?
Man, listen, hold on.
I want to talk about these stats real quick now.
I want people to understand and understand how special George Pickens is, right?
George Pickens is second in receiving yards, 980.
He only got 58 catches.
Yeah.
He only got 58 catches, man.
So that's letting you know he's doing more with less.
you know so let's start there now
George Pickens coming back to Dallas
I like the idea
I like the idea right
you know
Pickens C.D. Lamb
that that Prescott
we understand how special
especially with them having a year
move going to a second year on how special
they can be offensively but I understand
that has to get done again I understand
yeah I understand that they'll get that they'll do
DAC again, they're not going to let DAC know.
I think DAC number is down to like $70, $75 million cap here.
So they'll redo DAC again.
Right.
Probably give him another four year, five year deal, making like $300 million.
And they'll give him, you know, at the time of signing, they'll give him $100 million.
He'll get, he'll get, I mean, he got guaranteed right now, $229 million.
So he'll get another deal, probably a $250 million guarantee.
But is, is, is that willing to take?
less to make sure George Piggins gets what he deserves, to make sure he get close to his
value because he's not going to get anywhere near close to his value if he stays in Dallas.
I would love for Mr. in Dallas.
He would be great there offensively and what he can do based on what he's putting on display
right now.
I love it.
I love the idea.
I just understand when it comes to getting your first contract, your first big contract,
most of the time, unless you that guy, like that guy guy, they've already paid.
made C.D. Lamb. You know? So based on where he is right now, he would suppose to be if he was
elsewhere, he would overlap C.D. Lam's contract. He would overlap it. But he won't be able to do
and get a true value because he's staying in Dallas. So does he want to take a discount and say,
you know what, I'm going to stay here. I'm going to take less to stay here in Dallas and be
productive here or do I want to go somewhere else? Now, whatever he chooses to do, that that's on him.
But I'm going to have a conversation with David Moolangetta, and we're going to sit down and we're going to talk and we're going to see what type of plan we're going to put together for Pick and see what's best for him for our foreseeable future.
Now, Dallas Cowboys fans, I love y'all.
I love the pick brings to the table, but don't be selfish.
Don't be selfish.
You should want what's best for Pick, too.
Yes, being with the Dallas Cowboys, that's what you want because you're a Dallas Cowboy fan.
but what's best for George Pickens, his family, and his long term.
Let's think about him long term, you know,
and being able to set up not just his kids, but his grandkids' kids, you know?
Now, if he can get that done in Dallas, I'm all for it.
I think the thing is, Ocho, they, you know, they do, they redo that.
That'll take, that'll take 30 million out of the cap right there to make his cap,
to bring his cap number down.
Yeah.
They'll probably do something restructure, give CDs money and a signing bonus.
Yeah.
That'll take more money off the cap.
Okay.
Now we're talking.
So I think I could I see him getting a deal somewhere five years, $180 million?
Okay.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
We cooking.
Okay.
We cooking.
Now the problem is, now see, we think insensible.
Yeah.
Me and you think it's sensible.
The chat, they think it's sensible,
especially any Cowboys fans that's in the chat, you know?
I love y'all too.
I love y'all.
Don't think I'm hating.
I love y'all.
But, and Jerry going to think sensible.
Yeah, I think you.
Is he going to think sensible?
Now, we know how Jerry Jones is when it comes to when it's time to pay.
You understand that.
Now, if George Picking is going to have the patience to deal with that bullshit,
Jerry like to do, making you wait till the last goddamn minute,
I don't know
We understand the issues
That Jerry Jones has had
With David Moologetta in the past
Is he going to have the patience
To want to deal with the bulljive
That Jerry going to put him through
So there's other dynamic
That's coming to play
You know
What Moologetta might want to tell Pick
Man listen we ain't got time for this shit
Oh my bad I'm sorry
We ain't got time for this
I think
Because Pick got an edge to him
Yeah
I think Pick has a lot of
on the field and how he goes about
his business on the field
has a lot of Michael Urban in him.
Yeah.
We know what Jerry thought of Michael.
Yes, sir.
What he thinks of Michael.
So I think he would probably lean towards
probably getting something done.
That's going to everybody.
Because he realized now,
he traded for Mingo.
Mingo ain't seen the field yet.
Yeah.
I think he's been a healthy scratch the last couple of times.
Remember, they traded a fourth round pick
to Carolina.
to get Mingo.
He's finally got a guy.
He's finally got a guy.
Yeah.
That's comparable to CD.
It's hard to get a guy,
comparable to your number one.
Yeah.
He can fight him tooth and nail.
Big, great, great hands, make tough catches.
Tremendous run after the catch.
Very good.
Big, big, big body receiver.
Jare realized those guys don't grow on trees.
Absolutely not.
And we got him in our home.
The best thing to do when you got it,
got him in your home,
what?
Don't let him leave.
Don't let him leave.
Don't let him leave.
He's on pace for 99 receptions 1544 yards
and 12 touchdown.
Dak is the only team in the NFL this season
to have featured top five player
in passing, rushing, and receiving yards.
Dak is fifth in passing yards.
Javante Williams is fifth in rushing yards.
Pick is second in receiving yards.
Man.
So think about all the offense they got.
And look where they are, because why?
The defense.
Yeah.
Defense got to pick it up.
Now, we'll see, we'll see if they can replicate what they did.
They got the Eagles.
We'll see if they can replicate what they did.
They were not made the, they let Michael Parsons,
they traded Michael Parsons to get Kenny Clark and Quentin.
That's what, A, they said, look, we got to stop the run.
Is it?
Clark is more of a run stuffer.
Quentin Williams can play to run, but he's more of a pass rushing DT.
Yeah.
Clowny, you got Fowler, you got Williams, you got some guys that you got a Diggizua
that you paid a lot of money to.
He's still there.
So we're going to see.
We're going to see.
The Eagles, we got to see what the Eagles.
We're going to see what the Eagles, because you're going to need to establish to run.
You're on the road.
Yeah.
CSA Quar can get loose.
Looks like Lane Johnson is going to be out.
They're going to have their backup in there.
We'll see, he says, hey, I want to make a name for myself.
Lane Johnson is Destin Stone.
He is what he is, one of the great linemen in history.
Now it's my time to get an opportunity to show you what I'm capable of.
So it's going to be very, very interesting.
But everything, I don't know what Jerry thought he was going to be when he traded for him,
but he had to be, he has to have been everything that Jerry had hoped for and more.
Absolutely.
Was there ever a great teammate that you?
fault to keep on the team?
Man, TJ, man, who's?
Who's?
You know, I hate the dirty side of the business, but, you know, it is a business.
I wanted who's to say, you know?
I thought, I thought that, that, that, that chemistry we had and being from Oregon State
and going from Oregon State being drafted to the Bengals, I mean, I wanted that continuity
to, to stay throughout the entirety of my career, but obviously things didn't go that way.
I mean, that's about the only person.
That's about the only person.
They didn't really ask me.
They really asked me.
I mean, as I got older, I think once I went there and came back,
I think Mike valued my opinion on what I thought of certain guys.
But for me, hey, you make your own decisions.
Yeah.
I'm going home.
And guess what?
And when I come back in the spring for OTAs,
and they're here, I guess they moved on.
Right.
What are the cycles fathers passed down that sons are left to heal?
What if being a man wasn't about holding it all together, but learning how to let go?
This is a space where men speak truth and find the power to heal and transform.
