After watching a friend grow through a loss a few weeks ago, I saw how quickly grief turned into financial stress.

And I promised my family I would never make them feel the same way my buddy felt. Trust me, that experience watching a friend grow through financial stress while grieving changed how I think about protecting my own family. Starting point is 00:06:59 Okay. Go look at a purchase a bottle of shade by La Portier. Head over to La Portier Cognac.com to purchase you a bottle if it's currently unavailable in a state or sitting near you. Remember, it is a premium VSP cognac that drinks like an XO, and now we have it in two sizes. The OG, which is the 750, and now the junior, the 375. It's the same great quality, the same great taste, the same smoothness. Try it. Compare it against other cogniz.
Starting point is 00:07:25 you may have tried or looking to try and you'll taste the difference immediately. Please Drake responsible and stay safe. At the top of the show, guys, I want to thank the team. Stevie, Nikki, Bailey, Jacob, Kristen, Mike, Javion. I want to thank you guys. We've been grinding. This last week, I think we've gone, what, 10 straight days, 11 straight days?
Starting point is 00:07:45 We've gone 12 straight days. Nobody's complained, or at least to me, but I cannot thank you guys enough because it means. a lot to us because this was a busy time of our year. And I appreciate you guys standing by club, Shay, because a lot of you guys could have left and went and did other things. But you say, you know what? We started at Shayshay Media.
Starting point is 00:08:07 We're going to ride this thing out. And I cannot thank you enough. So I want to personally thank all of you that's been here from the beginning. Not you, Ash, I want to thank you. No, I was Shayshay Media. Shayshade Media. Nightcap, you guys, you guys have been here from the start, of it and you guys watch this thing grow.
Starting point is 00:08:27 And so I want to take the time out because I don't think you guys, yeah, everybody sees the graphics and give you guys credit, but you got, they don't know that you got your alarm set and you're dropping pods at 3 a.m. in the morning because a lot of you live in Cali and you're dropping episodes and you're dropping clips and you're dropping shorts and you're dropping this at 6 a.m. East Coast time, which is 3 a.m. your time. So this is my opportunity to say thank you for all that you do because you're a big reason
Starting point is 00:08:55 why these awards sit in the backdrop. You're the reason why Ocho and Joe have those awards because of your effort. And I want to say thank you for all you've done and all you'll continue to do. So hopefully, as I always say this, hopefully you enjoy us as much as we enjoy you. So again, thank you guys. Again, Stevie, Nikki, Bailey, Jacob, Kristen, Mike, and Javion. And Nikki, thank you. Nikki started out on social media.
Starting point is 00:09:22 and I was like, Ash, who is this with all this clever things, all this is she got to say? She's like, oh, she's on social media. She's following. She's one of the mods. I was like, do she want a job? Hey, if she could come up with clever stuff like this on her own, I can just imagine if we provide an infrastructure and structure, what she can do for Shachay Media and Nightcap. And here we are a year and a half later.
Starting point is 00:09:46 So, Nikki, thank you. Even though you didn't have a whole lot to say to the boss when you're in San Francisco. I still love you. I still love you. The NBA has warned Victor Wimba. Pride is like love. You feel it in your heart. IR. Radio.

Starting point is 00:10:22 I Number one hits, millions of records sold. Awards, sold out tours. You think that Jonas Brothers are satisfied? Nope, it's podcast time. We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions. Hey, Jonas is available now,
Starting point is 00:10:40 and their first guest is a big one. Paul Rudd. You know, Steve Carell is a great singer. Can you tell you not to audition at the office or something? I told him. Whoa. We were filming Anchorman. Clearly, I was the idiot.
Starting point is 00:10:51 Thank God he didn't listen to me, right? Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. On Humor Me with Robert Sligo and Friends, we help make you funnier on this episode. My guest's Bob Oden Kirk and Kids in the Halls, Bruce McCullough, try and help the Kazoo Kid and Tazan Day be famous again. What if there's an alternate universe show where you guys are incredibly popular? Well, and they could travel up the land, doing meet and greets. They're constantly needed at malls. Listen to humor me with Robert Smygling Friends on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:11:29 Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is. Getting a racist statue removed. And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is. Getting a new one put up in its place. As long as there's a politics of race in America, there's going to be a politics of remembering the Civil War. To get to school, I had to go down Robert Lee Boulevard. Get to the grocery store, I had to go down Jefferson Davis Parkway. If you're an historian and you leave out half of what the history is, you're not doing your job.
Starting point is 00:11:57 I'm Akila Hughes. In Rebel Spirit, Season 2 goes deep on both of those things. The fights, the politics, the people who won, and my personal campaign to add something to the Kentucky State House that's actually worth the wall space. We are more than our bodies. We contain essence. We contain spirit. How do you represent that?
Starting point is 00:12:16 They are just fueling a fire. that is really catching. You'll see what I mean. Listen to Rebel Spirit Season 2 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, fam?
Starting point is 00:12:30 It's Isaiah Thomas. And I'm C.J. Toledano, and our podcast Point Game is about defying the odds. Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed. And finding ways to win no matter what. He's the smartest player
Starting point is 00:12:42 to ever play the game. His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before. And he knows without Luca and Austin And Reeves, I got to manipulate the game. We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs. I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup, he has to really guard guys like Nas Reed.
Starting point is 00:13:02 He has to guard Julius Randall. And then he has to give us everything he gives us on the night-to-night basis on offense. And when IT's friends stop by, like Quentin Richardson, we dive into some playoff history too. Steve Nash would get that thing. That man, hell get the flying. He run up the court, licking his fingers, why he got it. at the bar like, after you go through a training camp with that Isaiah, you figure it out real quick.
Starting point is 00:13:24 Get your ass up and down the court and you're going to get the ball. So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. ...in Yama about violating the media access rules after he did not speak to reporters following the Spurs game five loss. After the loss, a team spokesman said Wendbe Yama would be unavailable to speak to reporters. The spokesman made the announcement about an hour after Spurs.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Ms. Johnson addressed the loss. The NBA levied fires against the players in the past who did not make themselves available to the media after playoff game. In 2023, both Jimmy Butler and Dylan Brooks both received $25,000 fines for speaking to the media. Joe, what's your take on this? Yeah, man, you guys talk to the media after the game, fellas. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:11 You know, you can't, hey, hey, hey, when you play great, don't you, don't you wait your ass around and talk? All right. So take your emotions, take your emotions out. We understand it was a tough loss. Hey, man, you got a job to do. You got some obligations to me when it comes to the media. You can't be skipping out on the media, man. Ocho? Yes, sir. I mean, you know, you know, George Wright, you know, I am one who always had to, you know, especially being the team leader. Wimby has to talk to the media. When lose a draw. Obviously, there are no draws. But you got to be able to put your emotions aside. obviously went in a loss like that, especially the last game they played, take some time to yourself.
Starting point is 00:14:55 You don't have to go right away right after the game, allow yourself to cool off. So you're thinking logically, you know, with your answer. So I kind of understand why he didn't do it, but being a part of being a professional is talking to the media after games, whether you win or whether you lose.
Starting point is 00:15:10 You have a question. After he had 41 and 24, did he talk? Hello. After game five, he had to half-court shot. He stood up after the game. He didn't even wait to get his ass to the locker room. He talked after the game. This is the problem that I have with guys,
Starting point is 00:15:27 with people in sports. When things go good, you want to stand to the rooftop, and guess what they'll do, Joe? And that's it. You ain't got no more questions. Yeah. Oh, they got all the way.
Starting point is 00:15:39 We'll step here as long as you need. Now all of a sudden you lose. Really? Really. Not you dunk out on it? Go ahead, Joe. Yeah. now you run into a little adversity,
Starting point is 00:15:51 which is pretty common in the postseason and the playoffs, especially the NBA, because there's so many highs and lows and lows in a series. You know, this ain't like football where it's just one game. So, man, look, you got to take your emotions out. Understand, yeah, after a tough loss, you still got to get up there and you still got some obligations to meet. And answer the question just as if you've won.
Starting point is 00:16:11 I understand it's not easy. In this notion, I take losing hard. Most people do. Because guess what, you know, you get to that spot? You won a lot. You've had a lot of success. You probably had more wins than losses individually, even if your team lost,
Starting point is 00:16:27 but you as an individual probably had more wins than losses. With that being said, get it. I lost, I promise you, I lost a lot, especially in the league. But you know what? Yes. When things went good,
Starting point is 00:16:42 they wanted to talk a lot of times that I was the last one out of there. And guess what? When we lost, a lot of times I was the last one out of there. That's just the part of it. It comes along with the territory. You cannot, you cannot love the sunshine but despise the rain. It's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:17:03 And too many people love sunshine but hate the rain. Hey, you got to learn to navigate both of them. You got to learn to navigate both of them. You do. And that's a part of it. I'm trying to figure, I mean, unless, you know, Alexander Carillon that went 80, 87 and 2, which he really didn't have to, but he had to explain the loss
Starting point is 00:17:26 after he lost to Rulong Garden in the 2000 Olympics in the Greco-Roman. The man had gone unbeaten, untied pins, not even touched a blemish. Lost his final match. Can you imagine what that would be like? You were 8, 87 and 1. Three-time Olympic champ.
Starting point is 00:17:50 Five, six-time world champ. Unscored on. Yeah. And lose. Guys, I get it. It's tough. It's an emotional game. The eves and flows of the game.
Starting point is 00:18:02 You put a lot into it. And it should hurt you. I love the fact that it hurt it. Because the more you invest in something, the more it hurt. When you pour everything that you have into a relationship, when that relationship ends, it hurts. Because if you don't hurt leaving a relationship,
Starting point is 00:18:17 you ain't put enough into it. You and nor hurt. Right. Thanks. When you put everything, when you put, guess what? Oh, Cho, if you put everything you had to go and try to make it to the NFL and you didn't make it, would that have hurt? And now we're talking.
Starting point is 00:18:34 Yeah. Now we're talking. Now, hey, listen, now we're not talking. Now that's a huge investment. Because why? Man, I don't got up. I don't ran wind sprints. I don't worked on my feet.
Starting point is 00:18:46 I don't watch tape. I don't smoke. I don't drink. I don't stay out late at night. I've done everything I can. So many people had to succumb to all those temptations right here in Liberty City. I did not. I've invested everything.
Starting point is 00:18:59 And the same thing, those guys that did everything that didn't make it, I did everything so I could and I didn't make it. You damn right. It's going to hurt. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's definitely going to hurt, boy.
Starting point is 00:19:10 Yeah. And I tell people the same thing about a relationship. The more you invest in something, the more you hurt. I know what I spent to be as good as I was in football. I know what I sacrificed. I know what I gave up. Time with my family. Time with my kids.
Starting point is 00:19:26 And you mean to tell me that I lose and all I got old, that's a part of the game, no hell it ain't. I didn't invest that. Fag. Fag. Because my kids don't understand. All they know is they want to see their dad. They want to go to Six Flags.
Starting point is 00:19:43 They want to have story details like their friends are coming back telling. Yeah. My family, I can't go to certain things because I've got to train. Yeah. Yeah, it hurt. It hurt. I cried a lot about losses. I absolutely did.
Starting point is 00:20:00 That's why I went to the games by myself and a lot of times I left the game by myself. My witness was 5% so people could not see me leaving the game after a loss. because it hurt that damn bad because I know what I had spent just to be as good as I was. I don't know how great I was. All I know is I got every ounce out of my God-given ability. There you go. That's all I can do. I don't know if I was growing.
Starting point is 00:20:27 I don't know if I was Kelsey. I don't know if I was gonzo. I don't know. I know that everything that God gave me every tool I used it. Guys, I get it. I'm not saying that I don't, but that is a part of it. I'm trying to figure out the person that is never lost.
Starting point is 00:20:49 You got to take some als, because if you don't take the ale, you won't appreciate the wins. No, sir. Hey, they're losing Bill's character, boy. Yeah, it do. Ooh, it builds character. True character.
Starting point is 00:21:03 I had a whole lot of losses, Joe. But don't that make you appreciate the wins? It does. It does. And listen, my loss, especially in football and in life, all mine been in public.
Starting point is 00:21:17 So it makes me appreciate my wins, you know, in public. Yes, absolutely. Listen, I'm not one. I don't even pop my shit, Joe.
Starting point is 00:21:27 You know, I have my wins. You know, I just smile. I just smile. It's like what I do hate about people. And I like, I like the,
Starting point is 00:21:35 The fact that that Unk brought themselves is how people move around in life like all the time, everything they've done, everything that they, they invested in. It all wins. I hate that. Well, hey, that's part of like that. Everybody pretend like, oh, my life is perfect. I ain't ever, no, I want you to see all my else. I want you to see them publicly.
Starting point is 00:21:58 So when my wins happen, you understand how far I had to come and what I had, and what type of adversity I had to go through. Well, I ain't had no problem with that. Everybody's so perfect. Oh, I'm always winning. Oh, I ain't never had this. I ain't never did this. Ain't nobody ever got the upper hand on me.
Starting point is 00:22:17 Ain't nobody ever cheated on me. I ain't never got let go for no job. I ain't never been turned down. I say, well, damn, Elon Musk. Man, please. The hell. Man, please. But, look, I don't want.
Starting point is 00:22:35 to chalk anything up to age because we say he played way beyond his years. He understands that. Even before he got to the NBA, I'm sure when he was playing on his French team, when they won games, he talked because he was the best player. When they lost, he talked. You can't run and hide. You can't. Nor should you want to.
Starting point is 00:22:56 You should want the responsibility. You're the best player. If nobody else talks, Victor Wimbunyama should go out there and address the media. That's how it works. Yeah. Hey, when you're a transcendent talent like that, man. Hey, the people want to hear from you. The media want, they want to hear from you.
Starting point is 00:23:15 They want your take, you know, on how the game went, on how the series is going. You can't duck out of that like that. Yeah. But everybody's going through something. Oh, Joe, we, you and I, and even Joe, Joe, like, Joe like myself was Prop 48. You didn't have the grade. You had to go to Langston. Stayed there for a couple of days.
Starting point is 00:23:33 Back home. Now you go out to Sammo. Now you off the Orrub. Oregon State. Think about all, because everybody think it's a straight line. Nah, sometimes you got to layover.
Starting point is 00:23:43 Sometimes you get detoured. Absolutely. The problem is that, hey, with the detour, don't let it last too long because you'll get complacent and you might stay there.
Starting point is 00:23:54 You heard people say, man, I didn't intend to stay that long. I've moved here by a decade ago and here I am. I'm still here. Nah, nah,
Starting point is 00:24:04 nah, uh-uh. It just appears. That's it. That's it. That's it. Hey, I'm going to be on my way shortly. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:13 You see the old, but you got to be locked in. You got to take a, he stopped off somewhere and, whew, you need something old time or no, I'm just, just resting my feet for a little while.
Starting point is 00:24:22 I'm going to move on, I'm going to move on down the road shortly. Just give me a minute to cat up a breath. That's how I look at it. That's all losses are. That's all setbacks are. They're temporary. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:34 Unless you're making them permanent. Yeah. I ain't make it nothing permanent, but you'll find a way to dig up out that hole, Joe. Man, got to. Yeah, for sure. That's the only way. But Wemby, look, you've got to be better than this. You got to be better.
Starting point is 00:24:50 You got to be able to take the good. You got to able to take the bad that comes along with the good, and there's a lot of good. Yep. You had a lot of good early in your career. Rookie of the year, the first unanimous defensive player of the year, first team all-NBA selection. Many more awards to come.
Starting point is 00:25:07 Man. But that's a part of it. That's absolutely a part of it. So I think he's getting that. I think somebody, I think somebody, I think Popper probably talked to it. Maybe Tim. Yeah. Maybe, Admiral David Robinson.
Starting point is 00:25:28 Maybe, maybe, maybe. Maybe, maybe. But I probably pop to understand that they're, to whom much is given, much is required. Hello. Son, I understand. You're tall and you got a huge burden. You got a huge responsibility. You're carrying the future of this franchise on your seven foot, four and a half shoulders.
Starting point is 00:25:52 Yeah. Hey, hey, not just the franchise here, the NBA. You're absolutely right, Joe. Yeah. I mean, man, he got, hey, he got some big shoes to feel. And if he, and if he keep it up, bro, he's going to supersede expectation. And he's going to feel him. Like, he, oh, what?
Starting point is 00:26:08 He's going to feel like. He ain't got a break for you. But for the most parts, I think, I don't know. I could be wrong, but I don't know if, but like I said, it's hard to tell. I don't know if Jordan has ever done something like this. I don't know if Barclay or Malone or Bird or Magic or Cream. I don't know. It's happened before.
Starting point is 00:26:26 I'm sure, but I don't know if Jordan, because it damn sure would have been a big deal if he didn't speak. Yeah. But I think, but Jordan, you got to understand. Jordan was very methodical. He did everything with a purpose because he understood he saw the bigger picture. He understood it was his responsibility, be it good, bad, or indifferent to talk.
Starting point is 00:26:50 Now, he might make you wait a while until he get freshened up because you're not going to see about any kind of way. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. He's going to be down to the nines. For sure. For sure.
Starting point is 00:27:02 What? That's his, that's his emmo. That's his resume. that's this modus operandi. It's okay. But I just, I think more guys need to understand that this is a part of it. You know, this is a part of it. When you win, you talk, when you lose, you talk.
Starting point is 00:27:19 They're asking, you know, what happened, you know, what was different about this game than game four? What was different about this game than game one? And you offer your best guest estimate, you know, they played, they were out physicaled us tonight. They, they were a little hungry. They got to the 50, 50, ball, they got to the 50-50 ball about 85% of the time.
Starting point is 00:27:39 Yeah. That extra effort, they gave a little bit more than we did. Now, we can't let that happen. We get an opportunity to go back home, play in front of our crowd, and we're going to play better. I promise you, the effort that we gave tonight, you will not see on Thursday night. Yeah. He was, hey, he might have been a little emotional about the, what he went, four for 15?
Starting point is 00:28:01 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know, when you, hey, when you, hey, when you put. put so much in yourself and you feel like you can come out and you can dominate whenever and it don't happen that way it seems as though he you know he took that to heart bro he he said damn this media yeah but i'm saying though joe i mean i think the thing is we've all oh joe we've all had some some some one for 12 yards some two for 18 yeah yeah lost you're like hey and they're standing right
Starting point is 00:28:30 at your locker ain't wait for your ass you say i ain't got much to say i want to say that you you threw me some more passes, but you know what they. You take, you take, you take, you take, you take, you understand. You understand it's a part of it. And I, I think Victor, I think Victor's going to get, he'll learn from this. I don't, I don't foresee him doing something like this of this nature in the very future, in the near future. And so, uh, um, we'll see what happens tomorrow night.
Starting point is 00:28:59 I'm expected a, uh, a dominant performance from him tomorrow night. Um, he definitely needs to get more touches. look closer to the basket. He can't get stronger now, Joe. That's something he's going to need to work in the offseason. And you're right. They're going to look, good job of wearing on him and tagging him and wearing him down. I mean, hey, we all did workouts with a vest on.
Starting point is 00:29:20 Man, that 20 pounds, that is get heavy. And after a while, when you take it off, you're like, damn. And I, you know, but you got to fight through it. You got to fight through it. So, hey, hey, I heard the coach Mitch Johnson, he said 15 shots ain't enough. So I expect his ass to be aggressive too. Yes.
Starting point is 00:29:40 I expect him to come out and be assertive, try to get him off to a great start, him trying to get off to a great start. So it's going to be a sight to see them off. And be a little bit more patient. If he doesn't open right away, that don't mean you have to go. Give him a little time to get to his spot.
Starting point is 00:29:57 Yeah. Sometimes I think sometimes the guard rush because he's not where he needs to be or where they want him to be right now. Now, okay, let me go somewhere else. Now, let it develop. You got time? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:10 Because I promise you, when he gets off the fast starts, he makes it easier for everybody else to get shots. Man. And a lot easier shots. Pride is like love. You feel it in your heart. IR. Radio. Canada's number one streaming app for radio and podcasts,

Starting point is 00:30:53 Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what? We have some big news. What's the news, name? Huge news. We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it.
Starting point is 00:31:04 First people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there. But this one's extra special. So how do we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys? I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it. Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers. This is how you guys remember it going down?
Starting point is 00:31:30 Yes. I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast. could call in and say, hey Jonas, and then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast. But thanks for remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Starting point is 00:31:52 On Humor Me with Robert Sligo and Friends, we help make you funnier on this episode. My guest's Bob Odenkirk and Kids in the Hall's Bruce McCullough, try and help the Kazoo Kid and Tayon Day be famous again. This is an alternate universe show where you guys are incredibly popular. Well, and they could travel up the land doing meet and greets. They're constantly needed at malls. Listen to humor me with Robert Smykel and Friends on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is.
Starting point is 00:32:26 Getting a racist statue removed. And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is. Getting a new one put up in its place. As long as there's a politics of race in America, there's going to be a politics of remembering the Civil War. To get to school, I had to go down Robert Ely Boulevard. Get to the grocery store, I had to go down Jefferson Davis Parkway. If you're an historian and you leave out half of what the history is, you're not doing your job. I'm Akila Hughes.
Starting point is 00:32:50 In Rebel Spirit, Season 2 goes deep on both of those things. The fights, the politics, the people who won, and my personal campaign to add something to the Kentucky State House that's actually worth the wall space. We are more than our bodies. We contain essence. We contain spirit. How do you represent that? They are just fueling a fire that is really catching. You'll see what I mean.
Starting point is 00:33:14 Listen to Rebel Spirit Season 2 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas. And I'm C.J. Toledano, and our podcast Point Game is about defying the odds. Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed. And finding ways to... to win no matter what.
Starting point is 00:33:34 He's the smartest player to ever play the game. His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before. And he knows. Without Luca and Austin Reeves, I got to manipulate the game. We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs. I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup, he has to really guard guys like Nas Reid.
Starting point is 00:33:55 He has to guard Julius Randall. And then he has to give us everything he gives us on the night-to-night basis on offense. And when IT's friends stopped by, like Quentin Richardson, we dive into some playoff history too. Steve Nash would get that thing. That man, hell get to fly. He running up the court, licking his fingers, why he got the ball.
Starting point is 00:34:12 Like, you go through a training camp with that, Isaiah. You figure it out real quick. Get your ass up and down the court, and you're going to get the ball. So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Adam Silver spoke tonight about refereeing in the 2026.
Starting point is 00:34:30 postseason saying, I think the officiating has been incredible. Adam also said the NBA will implement an AI automated system to review calls. So if it's been, so why are you going to this? Hold on. Hold on. If that's the case, why do you need this? I mean, it's in other sports too, huh? You think about it to get to get the calls right most of the time because the naked eye at times, human error is never. In other words, they made mistakes. Just say that. So yeah, look, it's human error involved. But he can't say that, being the commissioner. He can't come out and say that.
Starting point is 00:35:05 But adding AI, adding technology as advanced as it is in other sports like football to make sure calls it got right. And in soccer as well, to make sure goals and all sides are gotten right. I mean, in a sense, it slows down the game. It slows down the game. But it also gets all calls right because the naked eye at times can't see everything. Yeah. Yo. man I don't know man all this AI
Starting point is 00:35:33 I'm gonna keep it real I don't I don't know what's real what's fake I don't know I mean if it's gonna if it is it really gonna help the game though as far as getting all the calls correct Joe that's about it I mean unless you see something that's come well they missed that goal so the AI would have got that goal tening you got that ball off chet foot
Starting point is 00:35:54 so we need to go and implement that now hell the naked eye saw that damn it down there I see that Hey, Joe, I ain't even AI. The original AI. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, and if you look at it, you can see Wallace knocked the ball and Tony Brothers staring right at the goal. No, that was a, uh, what's the other, that might have been capers.
Starting point is 00:36:22 No, that was Sean Wright. Go look at it. Go look at it. Go look at the view and you see the official looking right at it. You look at the one Hardinstein lost the ball out of bounds. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:40 Tony brothers looking right at it. Yeah. So, look, I agree, Ocho, there's something that, you know, you're going to miss. But, bro, when it's right, when you, there's a reason why they got three officials. Right.
Starting point is 00:36:57 Nobody really should be out of place. Somebody's always under the basket. Somebody's back. Somebody's on the other side. So, We got it. We got it covered. We got it covered.
Starting point is 00:37:09 But boy. But I look. Damn, hey. Glad Joe. I'm damn ref. I'm dead. I'm dead. Rips get caught up in the game too.
Starting point is 00:37:16 Of course. Yeah, they got to. I mean, sometimes they realize they're part of, they're part of hitting, they're witnessing something special. Yeah. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:37:29 They're like, hey, I rep that game that such and such drop 83. Right. You know what I'm saying? Hey, man, you know what? I was a part of that game. That's a, when Tom Brady threw for 200, excuse me, 500, or some receiver called for 300.
Starting point is 00:37:46 Man, you know, I, I call that game. Pitching, pitch of the perfect game. Yeah. They needed that with Jim Joyce, Rob Gala Raga, of that perfect game. That's when they needed AI. Hey, listen. Hey, Rets got a lot more control on the game than what people really think, bro. Oh, they, yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:04 Yeah, they dictate, they can really dictate the outcome of a game. They absolutely can. Big time. Seriously. That's why, that's why I like, since we can talk about basketball in the playoffs, I like the game with a referee hold a whistle. Hold your whistle sometime. Letting the boy play ball.
Starting point is 00:38:21 It's the goddamn playoffs. You know, the game of basketball at times is physical. Yeah. You ain't got to call every goddamn tick. You don't have to call every tic-tack file. Yeah. If it's egregious and it deserves a, you know, deserves a whistle, okay, blow your whistle.
Starting point is 00:38:38 Yeah, I agree. I agree, Ocho. You got to let them boys play, man. Hey, we want to see great competitive basketball in the playoffs, not all these damn touch files and flopping and flailing. Hey, man, let them boys play a little bit. Let them play. It's going to be some borderline calls
Starting point is 00:38:54 to where, you know, guys feel like they got filed. But here, hey, you got to get your ass back on defense, man. We got to continue to keep playing. I don't know who the first. one that started that flopping and that flailing but it took over it took over now ain't man because you go back and you go back and watch 80s and 90s and early 2000 basketball they weren't none of that guys fight and fight and fight for position and guys will try to refo repost and they hey damn they spin one way
Starting point is 00:39:22 they cut that off they spin the other way hey now they back in it they back in trouble hey throw it over the top yeah you push your guy oh damn it doesn't This is a great question too, Joe. Would you know? What? Yeah, both of you all been watching the game for a long time. Who started the understanding of being able to manipulate, manipulate the game and drawing and drawing calls by flopping? I'm not sure who started it, but Alcoo, it has trickled down to the high school and colleges
Starting point is 00:39:53 because these kids mimic what they see on TV. You know, any and everything they see, if you know, if you learn how to flop and flail your head back, You watch at high school, I watch a lot of high school and college basketball. Hey, man, these kids doing the exact same thing as if they was in the pros. You know what I mean? So they learn it just by watching. That's why they always, at the level, they try to like certain things about celebrating. Because you best believe, whatever celebrating they see, you see in the NFL, Ocho, where are you going to see it at?
Starting point is 00:40:26 College, high school, middle school. Look at them, kid. Kids, eight years old, got a shield, got gloves, got a towel. Hold on, why you got a shield? Why you got a little gloves? Why you got a towel? Hey, hey. Hey, hey, they best players.
Starting point is 00:40:46 Don't see how old year, nah. Hey, hey, they best players wear that. I'm wearing with my best player. Hey, look, I told you, back in the day, man, look, if you ain't had that little arm, elbow, that sleeve on your, that little sweatband, man, you weren't talking about nothing. I had to have one of them.
Starting point is 00:41:04 Yeah, that's the thing. And so the NFL understands that. And it's like, man, we need to cut some of this stuff out because, you know, they're going to do whatever they see their favorite players do. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, hey, hey. And if they see their favorite player get the monster to toward the referee,
Starting point is 00:41:27 you're going to see that. Hey, you see these kids? I'm telling you, man. these kids in high school and college do the exact same thing that they see on TV. Yep. Copy and paste. They copy and paste.
Starting point is 00:41:39 They do. They do. Hey, a malls, you see guys? Yeah. Everybody tried to get the one hand catch. Everybody tried to do the old day or everybody tried to do.
Starting point is 00:41:53 Yeah. Like, come on, bro. Bro, you like team. Hey, trying to catch everything with one hand. They are, yeah. It's so funny, they continue to talk about Odell and that, you know, the catch he had against the Giants
Starting point is 00:42:08 when they were playing the Cowboys. But y'all, I'm going to go back and watch Brandon Lloyd. Yeah. Go back and watch Brandon Lloyd, man. That was on car, wasn't it? Oh, yeah. Yeah, used car. You was car.
Starting point is 00:42:22 They cooked it. Go back and watch it for what? In LSU? No. I'm trying to say. to watch Brandon Lloyd. Oh, Brandon, Lord. Oh, oh, I thought you said, Brandon.
Starting point is 00:42:34 I was like, hold on. What are we watching them for? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Brandon, Lord. People don't talk about his hands enough. You talk about it's hard to believe somebody made more spectacular catches than Brandon Lloyd.
Starting point is 00:42:48 The only guy that I would say, and he didn't have the advent of the tactified gloves was Chris Carter. Yeah. C.C. made a lot of one-handed catches with Newman's, and they didn't have the tankified, the technology that they had.
Starting point is 00:43:01 have now. But Brandon Lord, the catcher that he was making, that is ridiculous. Out of this world. Hey, hey. With them damn sticky gloves. Now, how you got to do it? It's your hand out there. It is. And you know what makes me?
Starting point is 00:43:17 They took the physicality out of the game in the NFL. Yeah. So you can feel a little bit more comfortable catching, opening up a little bit more, you know, going through traffic, going across the middle. But you don't feel bad. or you don't, you're not nervous, you know, and you know what I'm going to make a highlight. Hey, hey, same thing in basketball.
Starting point is 00:43:39 Hell, they took the physicality out of basketball. You can't hand shake. You can't touch nobody when they dry. You can't impede this progress. Hell, how I'm supposed to guard and with my damn hands up like this behind my damn back? You can't play a defense like that, man. You're right. That's the thing.
Starting point is 00:43:53 And that's why you see guys. Guys got a lot of courage now to go cross the middle. Now you got to let the guy catch it. He got to catch a couple of steps. and he got to see you. It used to be, nah, I'm going to knock hell at you.
Starting point is 00:44:04 Even if you don't catch the ball. You can't even hit the guy on the shallow cross, not Ocho. Boy, they used to bust hell out guys. You wouldn't that shell. Okay. Keep looking back if you want to and don't see that guy, sit you on your ass.
Starting point is 00:44:19 Man. Everything. Guys catch a three-slip. I remember the first. I said, hold on. I had to rewind. I said, he just ran a three-step slam route.
Starting point is 00:44:28 In front of the bikebacker? You try to catch that ball behind the Mike backer. You're not trying to catch it in front of him. Bro, you catching that ball. Yeah. Oh, my goodness. The game is completely different. Yes.
Starting point is 00:44:45 But, Adam, it's different. But, hey, if it's going to make the game better, if it's going to put people's mind at ease that the call actually happened, the way the official blew it, or it didn't happen if you're able to correct the wrong. Hey, what about when Ms. Johnson was doing that? AI going to correct that? Right.
Starting point is 00:45:11 I don't want to know. Hey, help me understand what AI goes because I could swan saw him doing this. Isn't that the signal for a challenge? Review. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:22 Yeah. You know it's funny too, Joe. What's that? Is the NFL chains the rules for the betterment of the game. and player safety, as they say, right? Yeah. I am what I like to call the football purists as well. I much prefer the error in which I played in and Unx Air as well.
Starting point is 00:45:46 So to me, that's football in the essence of the way football should be played. Yeah. But there has to be somewhat of a sense of not only urgency, but a sense of I have to be weary of my surroundings at all times. you know not just right now in today's game is oh i ain't got nothing to worry about i'm going across the middle i'm running slants i'm i'm catching one hand i'm doing all this all these theatrical stuff that you would never do when it was a thinking man's game you had to be careful and know where everybody has to go before the snap of that ball yeah what they've done oh joe you make a very
Starting point is 00:46:25 good point what they've done is that they kind of legislated the physicality out of it because football at his premise is, is, is, is about intimidation. Bing bingo that's what it's about. I tell you what I'm going to do. Now you're going to run this red to run this round in the first quarter. And even if you don't catch it, I'm going to bust hell out you. Now, if you don't catch it, I'm going to see if you still want to catch it in late in the third and the four quarter.
Starting point is 00:46:51 Right. Now you ran that shot across. You ran that end cut. Okay. I'm going to put my helmet right up under your damn chin. and I'm gonna see, hey, boy, you see that joke, that joke,
Starting point is 00:47:01 hey, the first quarter of joking that you're up there like this here, like, like, Lee and Swan in the Super Bowl. Oh, my God, leave! Then I saw Edward and Dennis Smith put that,
Starting point is 00:47:12 that barbecue sauce was on ribs in the first quarter. Yeah. Hey, come third quarter, four quarter, they're looking at it like this year. Like, damn, is that a bird,
Starting point is 00:47:22 it's a plane? What you're looking at? If they're doing something, if you're on the football field and they're throwing something it's probably the football you want to catch it. I don't think people understand
Starting point is 00:47:39 like Uncle Joe during that time during my era as much fun as entertaining as I made the game I don't think people understand the difficulty and the worries I had in game during snacks. Not only because during the week before it started,
Starting point is 00:47:57 but having to know where Troy Palomalo was going to be. Yeah. Harrison was going to be. Yeah. What was going to be? Where Ray Lewis and Ed Reed and, and like, dog, it was crazy, Joe. Hey.
Starting point is 00:48:11 Crazy. Got. There was a certain nervousness that I had. I had butterflies in my stomach before every game. Yeah. I had butterflies in my stomach during the game. Joe, they trying to kill me, Joe, because I talk too much. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:28 I just enjoyed the game so much better back then as opposed to now. You can't talk. You can't talk to the referee. Hey, calm me down. I mean, now they'll throw a flag on you say the end word. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Even out there on the field, let's say me and a guy I'm going against, we got a little friendly back and forth.
Starting point is 00:48:48 We're talking a little smack. You can't do that? No, no, they might throw a flag. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, Johnson. Come on now. Get on back to the huddle. Damn. Yeah. I mean, boy, can you imagine in the 90s in the early 2000?
Starting point is 00:49:04 Because I know, boy, in word, and shut up. You ain't do nothing. Nick. Bro, listen, I've never seen somebody or heard anybody talk to the ref like Gary Payton, man. I swear. When I first came into the league in 01, We played against Seattle of Supersonics.
Starting point is 00:49:28 I've never, never heard nobody talk to the rest the way GP talked to him. GP talked to the rest like, they're your damn kids. I'm like, why, you ain't going to get that, man, no tank or nothing? Now, you can't talk to officials like that. They throw a flag on the, hey, they talk quickly throw that flag on you. Oh, uh, GP had his way, man. He had his way with the officials, bro. I ain't going to lie.
Starting point is 00:49:49 Yeah. But I'm like you, I'm doing it all that. Man, shut me up. That's what you do. You shut me up. Yeah. Sorry ass. That's all right.
Starting point is 00:50:01 I got some, yeah, you ain't got nothing. Well, from the looks of it, you ain't got much. Y'all down 21 with six minutes to go.
Starting point is 00:50:10 So you better come up with something quick. Fakes, Fakes. Fax. Fade. El Gado got it again. El Gado.
Starting point is 00:50:18 Oh, man. But that was the whole, the whole thing is about talking. Hey, have a little fun. Hey, pick it up. You know,
Starting point is 00:50:30 Hey, you're trying to get yourself going. You're trying to get them out of their game. You're trying to get your teammates going. But they're like, hey, now they cut that out. Not, Joe, you can't say you got to be careful what you say now. Yeah, you know what, they ain't. And they don't allow that in basketball. They don't.
Starting point is 00:50:46 No, me and you hold guarding each other going back and forth. Yeah, they're going to end up taking us because they don't want it to escalate. You know what I'm saying? You know, sometimes, you know, their trash talking can escalate to something. something else. Next thing you know, well, you got a real rumble on your hand. And they're going to escalate. Hey, I just want to know how we doing it. Tell me how we doing it. We doing it snap the whistle or snap the after the whistle. Cause if, hey, we go in low because we know, Michelle Obama say we go, when they go, when they go low, we go high.
Starting point is 00:51:19 I go to hell. Yeah. I don't know, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm going to, well, I go out. Hey, you started. Yeah. I'm going to the very, very, very, I go. I'm going to the very, I'm going down in my shoes, and I'm going down in my shoes, and I'm going to get you. Because I already know your bow. I already know everything. Hey, hey. You're saying you may not start it, but you're saying you may not start it,
Starting point is 00:51:46 but you're going to finish it. Oh, I'm going to end it. Yeah. Meet me. No, I want to meet you there. I don't want to meet nobody, nowhere. I met you right here at, at, hold on, we've played it two. So I met you here at 205.
Starting point is 00:51:58 You ain't do nothing. Now you want to take this. I don't get paid to do anything. after this, after the game over. Right. You should, all that beef that you had with me, all that backed up beef that you got now, you should have had that on the field.
Starting point is 00:52:11 Now, get your ass off to my field. That's all right. I'm gonna see you. I see you right now. Yeah, you're talking about this game. Talk about whatever you want to talk about. You want to talk about your girl? I ain't want to go there, but we'll take it there.
Starting point is 00:52:28 Yeah. Yeah. Are you, oh, yeah. You got him to where he. even thinking about for no damn mo no no. But that's the last resort. See, that ain't my first option. My first option is to keep
Starting point is 00:52:39 it above the bore. My first option is talking about my ability versus your ability. Right. Then you start going sideways. You start talking about my brother. Dude told me, man, I hate you and your brother. I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa. My brother ain't
Starting point is 00:52:55 never did anything to you. Yeah. You don't talk too much. Well, you don't talk enough, you're sorry. And you know what? I ain't want to say anything, but I know what you got this job, you went up there and begged, begged to get your job back.
Starting point is 00:53:11 Man, what you talk about? Yeah, I know everything. I know people that you know begged to get a job and they gave you less than what you asked for. Punk. Hey, that's a low blow. Hey, it was the truth though. And he knew it. See, I don't, I don't start it.
Starting point is 00:53:30 Hey, I'm Switzerland. I try to remain neutral, Joe. I really try to remain neutral. But I ain't afraid to pick up arms. When you don't give me no choice, Joe, oh, Joe, what about to do? You don't give me no choice. You got to go down.
Starting point is 00:53:49 Now, y'all get mad at the sheep. Because the sheep say, I won't pick up, I won't pick up arms to keep the wolves from come killing and eating me. But you're mad at me. Man, you have to say, I was left. I wasn't bothered no.
Starting point is 00:54:02 I was mind of my black business. Yeah. So he took it there, you know, sometimes he go a little far. I shouldn't, look, only one time and everybody knows if the one time I said something, it went too far because he and I were great friends. We were great friends. We worked out together. He'd come to Atlanta.
Starting point is 00:54:20 We'd work out. We go to the Pro Bowl. At the club, I saw him. We were cool. But the thing, what hurt me is that I wasn't even talking to him. I wouldn't talking to him. to him. I was talking to, oh, dude. And then he comes, sure.
Starting point is 00:54:41 I said, my first reaction left, man, who's I know, you know? And it was him. I say, really? I say, you just, yeah. And then it just went from there. That's what I'm saying, oh, Joe, I mean, you were good at this there, but unless you can get a coach fired and the player suspended, oh, Jay Sharp got to create a crowd.
Starting point is 00:55:08 I can't. Well, but I ain't got no crowd. I mean, a crowd. It ain't one crown on here. Ocho, he false claiming. Oh, yeah. All right, Joe, we have some breaking news in the soccer match today. Our own soccer officialado, he almost scored a goal. Pride is like love.

Starting point is 00:56:03 Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers, and guess what? We have some big news. What's the news, new? Huge news. We created our own podcast. called Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast? Well, we didn't invent it.
Starting point is 00:56:14 We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts. We're starting a trend. But this one's extra special. So how did we actually come up with a name Hey Jonas, guys? I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Starting point is 00:56:29 Oh, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band. Before Jonas Brothers. This is how you guys remember. going down. Yes. I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing a bit for the podcast where people could call in and say, hey Jonas, and then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas,
Starting point is 00:56:50 and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast. But thanks for remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it. On Humor Me with Robert Smygel and Friends, we help make you funnier on this episode. My guest's Bob Odin Kirk and Kids in the Hall.
Starting point is 00:57:10 Bruce McCoha try and help the Kazoo Kid and Tayson Day be famous again. What if there's an alternate universe show where you guys are incredibly popular? Well, and they could travel up the land doing meet and greets. They're constantly needed at malls. Listen to humor me with Robert Smygling Friends on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is, getting a racist statue removed. And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is, getting a new one put up in its place.
Starting point is 00:57:44 As long as there's a politics of race in America, there's going to be a politics of remembering the Civil War. To get to school, I had to go down Robert Lee Boulevard. Get to the grocery store, I had to go down Jefferson Davis Parkway. If you're an historian and you leave out half of what the history is, you're not doing your job. I'm Akila Hughes, and Rebel Spirit Season 2 goes deep on both of those things. The fights, the politics, the people who won, and my personal. personal campaign to add something to the Kentucky State House that's actually worth the wall space. We are more than our bodies. We contain essence. We contain spirit. How do you represent that?
Starting point is 00:58:20 They are just fueling a fire that is really catching. You'll see what I mean. Listen to Rebel Spirit Season 2 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's up, fam, Ms. Isaiah Thomas. And I'm C.J. Toledano, and our podcast Point Game is about define the odds. Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed. And finding ways to win no matter what. He's the smartest player to ever play the game. His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before.
Starting point is 00:58:49 And he knows without Luca and Austin Reeves, I got to manipulate the game. We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs. I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup, he has to really guard guys like Nas Reid. He has to guard Julius Randall. And then he has to give us everything he gives us on the night-to-night basis on offense.
Starting point is 00:59:11 And when IT's friends stop by, like Quentin Richardson, we dive into some playoff history too. Steve Nash would get that thing. That man, hell get the flying. He run up the court, licking his fingers why he got the ball. Like, after you go through a training camp with that, Isaiah, you figure it out real quick. Get your ass up and down the court, and you're going to get the ball. So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, almost, Joe.
Starting point is 00:59:38 Oh, boy. Hey, hang your space. Find your space. Oh, yeah. You catered right down in. You got to make that, Ojo.
Starting point is 00:59:51 Joe. Joe, I was aiming for the left corner, Joe, but I couldn't get it to the corner, Joe. Hey, Joe, I'm just going to be honest with you. It's hard. Obviously, it's 77. Joe, I'm playing. I'm playing with pro at the highest level,
Starting point is 01:00:03 so I got to get that ball off my foot fast. I was trying to aim it to the bottom corner. I just couldn't. I couldn't. Hey, hey, Joe. I bett it like Beckham. Yeah, man, I wish I could, man. They make it look easy, but it ain't easy, man. Hey, hey, hey, hold on. For somebody who say they better as soccer than they wore at football, I kind of expect for you to score that, man. I see you laying some hat out there on some foes, too, boy. Yeah, I had to set the tone, Joe. I just wanted to let, let dude, no, it ain't for
Starting point is 01:00:33 to be that type of game. You ain't just for, you know, Walton half. I like that. I like that, Ocho. I said the tone. I like that. Let him know if it's going to be physical health. Yeah. Man, Ocho, man, I went high right. Out of with high right.
Starting point is 01:00:47 Made it sprawled up, made it get up like that. Oh. I opened my hips and did everything the right way. I did everything the right way. It just didn't go where I was aiming. I was trying to aim for the bottom corner. That's the one place the keeper can't get to. I tried.
Starting point is 01:01:03 I tried. I did. I did. It looked like you went right down the middle. Yeah, a little bit, a little bit, you know. I'd a bit, I'm telling you, out of a bit to like Beckham. I doubt it. It's bad.
Starting point is 01:01:17 There you go, see. You look like your hips were bad. You kept that ball. Nah, hey, I had me some fun. I had me some fun at that boy. Oh, my goodness. Did y'all win? Huh?
Starting point is 01:01:30 Did y'all win? We lost that game 2-1. We lost that game 2-1. two one how many games did y'all play uh two did y'all win the other game one one and we play we play club america tomorrow you know club america right i mean joe you know club america no no how long how long a game last ojo uh the eight last year was 20 minute a half this year's 18 minute a half and it's a continuous rotation so nobody gets tired oh okay so how much how much have y'all have for stoppage?
Starting point is 01:02:08 Six minutes, six minute half time. Yeah, six minute a half time. Hey, Joe, them boys, good, Joe. Yeah. Oh, my God. Me and Joe was listening to you. We thought you were good. We, are we hype this bag up.
Starting point is 01:02:21 We don't talk about Ocho going to score. We're going to put the A. Hey, yeah. We end up putting this thing out. We go sitting the ESPN and all the, all the aisle is going to get it. Hey, hey, hey, we can only go off what he tells us. Yeah, he's going to go to go. Yeah, I mean, I can't guys all day.
Starting point is 01:02:36 I can go off of a little. the man tell me all the man got is his word any man it is but but listen listen no like no these folks is good bro you're supposed to be good no though they no jo um you're not listening i hey joe i don't understand i'm playing with a team that plays in la leaguea spanish team yeah they finished third in league this year right the only team in front of them is real madrid and Barcelona, I think Villarreal finished third. I might be wrong. I haven't seen the table. Like that level,
Starting point is 01:03:12 you know, Mbapé, Laminia Mall, like them. It's their former players. Yeah. These ain't just know anybody I'm playing with. You told me, Joe, this is what he tells us. He could go out right now and catch four five passes in the NFL. A game that went home. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because, hey, now that I could do.
Starting point is 01:03:31 A game in which he hadn't played in 15 years. He also shared with Joe and I, that he was better in football, F-U-T-B-O-L, than he was F-O-O-T, B-A-L. Now, all I can go by is what he told Joe or not. He reiterated that on several cases. Think about this, Joe.
Starting point is 01:03:53 Have I ever lied to you? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Have I ever lied to you? Ask the chat. Have I ever lied to you? Yeah, he'd rather lie to eat when he's hungry. He'd rather lie to eat when he hungry, Joe.
Starting point is 01:04:06 You're the old people. Hey, hey, one thing about it, the time I did get out there today, I look good. I look like I belong. Most of the time, you put people in that kind of environment. What I'd like to consider some of the best in the world, your liability. I wouldn't allow it. So are any of these guys that's on that team right now, do they currently play? Yeah, some of their academy players.
Starting point is 01:04:34 No, no, no. Are some of these players on PSG? are they on Real Madrid, are they on the FC Barcelona? Are they on those teams? No, they getting ready for World Cup. These are former players? I just said that. No, I said, are they current?
Starting point is 01:04:50 Yeah, the academy players, yes. So when you say academy, so that's like the collegiate to the NFL, correct? No. Messi played for Barcelona Academy, and then he went up to the first team. Do any of these players? You scared that work?
Starting point is 01:05:08 Any of these guys play for FC Barcelona at the big level? Yes or no? Are they, wait, are they here? I'm asking you. Are you, you confusing me. I'm talking about, I'm talking about the team I'm playing for. They guess they have some of their academy. No, no, I'm saying the academy.
Starting point is 01:05:25 I'm saying are any of these, forget the academy. What messy did not play on the academy when he's playing with Barcelona. He might have came up through the academy. That's what I just said. So are these guys currently on a roster? Not the academy on a roster. Yes. What's roster?
Starting point is 01:05:43 Who did they play for? For Villarreal. That's what I just said. Who? We're gonna look them up. Yeah, look them up. And it's some of the former players. Hey, what you,
Starting point is 01:05:54 and do you know who Pepe Raina is or no? No. Pepper Rainer still play? He's a worker. Oh my, you know, I'm a sclo. This is what I'm saying. You and I and Joe were current players. We don't currently play.
Starting point is 01:06:10 I'm asking you the players that you played against, do they currently play on a, on a roster? No, nobody over there. So you should have been able to dominate. Thank you. That's all we wanted him to say. We got a new video, Joe.
Starting point is 01:06:27 Check a look at this video. What do you got? What we got? Hey, hey, hey, Joe. Hey, Joe. Hey, Joe. Hey, Joe. Oh, you know what I said?
Starting point is 01:06:45 What? I should be dominating because they're not on the roster. Yep. Yeah. Huh? Do you understand how good these people is that's out here, man? You told us you were better in this sport than football. This is not no walk in the park.
Starting point is 01:07:02 We just told you. Joe and I are just going about what you say it. Now, this is a lie you told it. Listen, I don't, I don't care what I said, but these, this ain't Sunday league. Hey, hey. These are people that have played at the highest level. That's like me saying,
Starting point is 01:07:16 I'm a dog walk your ass when we get on the court. You said that. And we know that's a damn life. I am going to dog walk is there. I'm a dog walking. That's going to happen. Hey, hey, hey, I see you had that left leg wrapped up. What's up with that left leg?
Starting point is 01:07:30 Oh, I had a little oil change. A little oil change. It don't mean nothing. Okay. And you got a yellow card. You play that. You play an American football tackling people. I guess you ain't ever watch soccer.
Starting point is 01:07:43 Yellow cars is normal. It's normal. I didn't think it's a yellow. I'm supposed to get a card. So I mean, and theoretically, hold on. This is normal in football. A yellow flag is normal in football. Are you supposed to get those?
Starting point is 01:07:56 Yes or no? Yes. Yes. Hey, learn learn the game. Yes, you get yellow card. I know you are you supposed to get them? You get flags. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:10 Are you supposed to get them? So if you get two of those yellow cards, what happened? If you're supposed to get them, you're supposed to be able to rack up as many as you won't. So in other words, you're not supposed to get a yellow card. Am I correct, don't you? I wasn't supposed to get fine. I got fine, didn't I?
Starting point is 01:08:28 I'll just ask it. I'm just asking. You're not supposed to. Hey, I mean, it's calling. You're not supposed to get it. He didn't want to answer that one. He didn't want to answer that one, Joe. In the end of the rules say don't celebrate or you're going to get fine.
Starting point is 01:08:43 Got fine, didn't I? When I'm gonna get a yellow card, when I'm supposed to get one or not. That's how you set the tone. You're not supposed to get them. You weren't, listen, you weren't supposed because they imposed the rules said if you celebrate, you're gonna get fine.
Starting point is 01:08:57 You probably wouldn't get fine now because you could celebrate on your own. Before, if you celebrated with your team, they would like, no, you gotta be celebrated by your own, by yourself. Now you can celebrate by yourself or you can celebrate with the team. And matter of fact, I would have celebrated
Starting point is 01:09:14 with the fans and stay. There you go. I'm going to push the envelope. I'm just telling you, I'm going to push the envelope. I'm going to make you take my money. No, I wasn't trying to give them none, but. Me neither. I ain't trying to give me.
Starting point is 01:09:25 With uniform, my uniform, Joe. What happened? Cobb, you got, oh, Joe, no, man. You got to have your socks pulled all the way up and your jersey got to be tucked in. I didn't care. Hey, David Fulcher, if you see this, it's your fault. They took all my money. You always told Martin Hanks, I had on the wrong color.
Starting point is 01:09:44 shoes. I had that long stream of towel. Wrong gloves, wrong chin strap. Boy, they took my money every game, Joe. I didn't care. Yeah, you got to have, you can't have, you can't, you can't, you can only have two color ways. It can be red and, you can have a white and a red or white and blue or white and orange. But, you know, Ronco's color, we use white, orange, and blue. Yeah. So I had to end up having to take the tongue on my shoes up because the back. If you notice, Joe, I had to take this up because this is orange.
Starting point is 01:10:18 so I had to tape it up or they would find me wow tape still on there see that the shoe is orange so I had to tape it up because I already got two colors I got a blue and I got a white it ain't like that nowadays though it's I don't know I don't know Joe
Starting point is 01:10:37 I really don't know hey hey hey them boys be having them cleats spadding up in everything right you see that oh Joe what I say career reception these are the shoes that I called my 800th pass in. The first tie-in. Well, I got some shoes.
Starting point is 01:10:57 Let me show you my shoe. Oh, here he go. Here he go. Y'all see this? What do you got, man? I see them, boy. Hey, you kicking... Hey, see these?
Starting point is 01:11:07 Bad a bad. He ain't no football shoe. You got some Adidas. Hey, these right here, these is one, he's a one-on-one. Swade Sambas, specifically made for me. These, A, these are Ocho, 85. they're coming out in two weeks.
Starting point is 01:11:22 They coming out. Let me see the back of them. I'm saying, how are we supposed to know they, Ocho, 85? You see the 85 on the back? No, I don't see it. Now you just, now you think we boo-boo the fool or somebody, huh? Oh, the 85 right there, Joe.
Starting point is 01:11:35 Come on, man. Come on, Ocho. Stop playing with our intelligence, bro. Oh, my bad. It's on the tongue, my bad. Come on, man. You see the 85? Nah.
Starting point is 01:11:45 Hey, Joe. Nah. Y'all see that right there? What's that? Big play, Chase. So all y'all came, oh, we did. Hey, this was in 2000, I had these in 2003 and 2004. So that's 23 years ago. So this notion, oh, he just, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:12:02 I've been him. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, Joe, I would a lock. Okay, that's up if I played deep in this era, man. Hey, by doing that era right there? He wouldn't have caught nothing. Hey, Joe, once I get down, like, Joe, you see me play deep.
Starting point is 01:12:20 too, Joe. You hear me? Yeah. Hey, I would have been an unc chest. He too saw all them muscles. Man, I would have deplated. Man, shit. All I know is I'd have more catches, more yards, and more touchdowns that I ended with if you had ever guarded me. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:12:37 I don't know how many more, but I just know how to have more. Hey, you ain't never had to face nobody like me. Oh, Joe, you got that fast, Ocho, and you only weighed 185 pounds. And that's the my advantage, little man. That's the my advantage. What you're talking about? I didn't need the way no more than that.
Starting point is 01:12:58 I don't need all them. I need all them muscle to lock you up. Hey. Hey, Joe. What was Henley? He played with the Rams. I got a card. Hey, he got up there.
Starting point is 01:13:11 Actually, enough he's doing life and prison. You know, he was running drugs. And then he tried to put a head of the judge. What's his, what's his last name is Henley? He played with the Rams. Yeah. Oh, in the league. Try to put a hit on the hoop.
Starting point is 01:13:22 He got caught. He got pop. He was running. Oh, he was a major player. And then he tried to put a hit on the judge. Darry on him. Look him up. I got a card.
Starting point is 01:13:33 Oh. Hey, I remember Mr. Hilley? I got a card. Huck right on his head. Damn. Hey, and he was moving like that? Yeah. After the ball?
Starting point is 01:13:49 Huh? He was in football. He was playing. No, oh, while yeah. Wow. And they came inside. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Hold on, what was it?
Starting point is 01:14:00 I think it was a receiver for the bears. Bears got caught like that too, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But he, I wonder what happened. The man put a hit on the judge. But I was like, damn. I ain't know he would like that.
Starting point is 01:14:12 But I put a hit on him because he was talking crazy. Hey, he out now? No, hell not. You got 41 years. Oh, my. Yeah. He got 41 fair time. He'll do.
Starting point is 01:14:29 You what, you get 10 days for every year? That's what, no, that's with good behavior. Good behavior, yeah. You got good behavior. He should be getting ready to come home. No hell no. No hell no. He got 41 years and 97, Ocho.
Starting point is 01:14:46 Damn. 07, 17, 27, 27 to be 40. So he might be out and probably, That's if he got good behavior. He'd probably be out in 30 or 33. Yeah. Damn. But no, Ocho, you know what I'm cool.
Starting point is 01:15:06 You're a little bit too small. One thing you know, when it comes to football, they ain't about size. It ain't about size. It's about skill. Ocho, you know. At 180 pounds, I'm going to grab you and throw you out the weight. You see?
Starting point is 01:15:23 I put it in this turn. Hey, what, you see our Julio and Brandon Marshall and Tio. Oh, so imagine somebody. Hey, hey, that pulling tug. Hey, that shit was beautiful, boy. Hey, there's a, hey, Joe, there's an art form to that pulling tug, and you do it all in one motion. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:42 They love contact. I forgot. I don't like contact, and they allow you to put your hands on it. Yes. They use leverage against you and pull themselves through and pull you right on back. Yeah. But all in one motion, you got to be strong as hell for that. But see, hey, to see the thing else, they grab it, they grab it outside.
Starting point is 01:16:02 And so shoulders go down. Mm-hmm. By you. Hey, guys, it's us. The Jonas Brothers. I'm Joe. I'm Kevin. And I'm Nick.
