A man made a list of things black people take seriously.
Oh, let's take out this. Let's check out this.
Let me see that. Let me see that.
They're about to start taking the class for things black people take seriously
because this list is the must and more.
I'm telling you, because, man, the check,
if you mess up on the black person's check, I promise you they will become a mathematician.
They will carry the one and that.
Hey, I forgot one penny.
Y'all forgot one penny. Y'all playing with me.
Like number one.
And if you did the body, that is the most ultimate. Black people will say it out loud.
You know what I'm saying? you a new grandma like that?
Why she look melted?
Why did they put her in the oven?
Why she on 350 bake?
You know what I'm saying? Turn that heat down.
They don't even look like grandma.
I'll tell you, this is probably when people take off running.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh a lot of people I didn't know they was their first name.
I just knew them as Sir and Ma'am, Mom and Dad until I was about ninth grade.
That's when I was like, oh, that's your name.
And if you said what, you was dying and coming back to life again.
Hey, I love them.
Yes, and the first one is the most important.
The first one is the most important option that check. is the most important. Obviously that check, but number two for me,
his number two was cool, but obviously his number two
was I think if I'm not mistaken,
was talking about who did the body at the funeral.
I like it.
That's number three.
Know who over there, you call somebody,
hey, you get, who over there?
Who all over there?
We didn't know who all over there,
cause it's a bull job, I ain't going.
Before that is if somebody cooking
and the first thing you ask somebody gonna ask
every time would have been number two for me.
Well, who cooking the yams?
Well, who cooking the greens?
That potato salad and the back of the cheese.
I got that, you got to know who got them.
You know what, Ocho, who did that body?
He looked just like himself.
How was he supposed to look?
Like a horse?
I mean, that's him!
And that's old folk, man.
That's old folk.
At the funeral.
That's him.
Where old folk go to the funeral,
they go to the wake, and they see the body?
That's the first thing they say.
Who did the body?
Every time.
Yep.
Who made a potato salad if we take off running?
Drinking and eating out the people. Remember I told you that on the show?
No, no. Oh, no.
Young, young.
Meeting Paul. Hey, we be bare.
Hey, come back right here, man.
Well, you a walk back right?
Oh, you not see the Paul.
No side?
We walking on the same side.
Can't put the floor in the purse.
Big Luther skating Luther. Oh, yeah. Still. Definitely can't get the purse. Big Luther, skinny Luther.
Oh yeah, still.
Definitely can't get no baby, no haircut before he won.
Can't do that.
Calling elders by their first name, nah.
Mr. Such and Such.
They couldn't be about,
they might not be by five, six years old of you.
It's always Mr. and Mrs.
Yes, sir, no, sir, yes, ma'am, no, ma'am.
Absolutely.
Can't sweep the tail, yeah, being offered a bag after purchase. I hate when people like, I got like $70 worth of stuff.
Would you like a bag? No, I'm going to carry this issue out of my arms.
What the hell you want?
Hold on, and you know you go to certain places now in certain stores and you buy clothes on you got to pay
Ten cents for the bag they add one of us
Well, I would say I do because I'm not gonna be able to carry all this stuff out of here
Then what you talking about? Well, that'd be ten cents. What?
And at some stores or Joe if you bring your own bags, they won't they won't bag it
Said well now you go ahead and do that. I don't work What the hell you talking about? Hey
Time to go and it's like well how much this cost I said, I don't know I'll stay right there time times a different
Would you like to get another one? Yeah, you could go get it, but I'm not gonna walk back over there another one
Y'all don't be think I work here. Y'all work here. I don't did my part. I came to the counter. But yeah, bro, I agree with these
Clothes on the bed. Nah, you can't put clothes on the bed good ones now
You saw it
He did a survey with us to find out what we are
I mean he did a survey with us to find out what we uh
What we don't be doing. I can oh Joe my favorite chocolate dual looking forward to seeing you and be more I'm curious. What value or principle do you hold most dear and how do you how do they guide your approach in both business and romantic?
pursuit
Rock Oh mama, you know what I do everything I
Do everything oh
Man I'm trying to make sure I say it the right way
Well, it's not great. Oh man damn I had it right on tip of my tongue soon as I had I was like
Oh, this is a good one. You know, we know when things don't work out
But you but you meant well by everything you do,
is why you never feel bad.
Why you never feel bad because everything you did
was with great intention.
I'm trying to think if that's the right word.
That's not the word I'm looking for,
but that's something that I always stood on,
always stand on,
which is where I never feel bad
throughout the entirety of my years,
especially when it comes to business
and when it comes to relationships as well,
since she added that in there as well.
I do everything from the heart
and really want nothing in return.
Like everything is always genuine.
Always.
Um, in business, just be straight up with me.
Tell me what it is.
If it's this, is this, if it's not, it's not.
That's all I ask.
Um, I don't require a whole lot I like
to be left alone I'm gonna come in I'm gonna do my job if I call you I really
got a problem if I got a problem if I got a problem if I call you I got a
problem let's address it let's handle it let's see the best way to move on in my
relationship hey you don't want to be with me. Just tell me Yep go hurt
It's gonna hurt absolutely
But uh
If you live the long as I have I promise you you've been hurt you've been heartbroken before
Hey, I never forget you just oh that that was trigger. Oh, oh man. That was trigger
You live long enough. You're gonna be heartbroken and as I said before
When you don't want to end the relationship and the other person does it hurts you more than it hurts them
Not to say it doesn't hurt them because sometimes in order to change it requires work. I
got it, but
Think about it. Oh Joe shedding skin is painful. But you know why a snake sheds its skin?
Not to change from being a snake, you're grown.
That's why when somebody cross you, you don't allow them a second chance.
You know, because when a snake sheds its skin, it's not becoming something
else, it's becoming a bigger snake.
Let me tell you something.
Now, you're a little different. I like that story. Now I said it was triggering when you said
about someone actually leaving you and it was triggering because it brought me back to a story
I'll never forget and I was just telling a friend of mine a story back in 1983 and they always asked like you know
Osho when your relationships have ended all this time, how come you were able to move on with such grace
Also when your relationships have ended all this time how come you were able to move on with such grace and and not be upset or not be sad and
I told him listen I become numb to this stuff because back in 1983 that was the worst pain I ever felt
1983 1983 I was in elementary school. I would never forget
He was a young lady and I told this story before earlier, you know in a few shows a while back and
Her and I told her story before earlier you know in a few shows a while back and her and I were dating and I felt we were in a relationship even in elementary school 1980 I'll never forget
North Beach Elementary I had an eight eight box of Crayola crayons eight box huh every time we sat
together and we did coloring I gave you my red crayon.
I let you use my red crayon. So I felt we was together.
You told me we was together.
New dude named Ted came to our school
in the middle of the semester.
Obviously it's not a semester
because it's only elementary, but he came to our class.
Ted had a 64 box of crayon.
So she went from using my red crayon to using one of Ted's red crayons because it had
multiple shades of the color red in the box. Well you only had eight, you only had an eight box.
Yeah, you know it was only one red crayon. So he had multiple crayons.
And I mean, listen, it's an it's a testament to how things are today in this world because,
you know, that girl I never forget her name, her name Tina. And that let me know when she grew up,
if I only had $50, if a dude with $100 came along, the chance to talk shit would probably
leave me.
You know?
So ever since that hurt I felt back then, I've been numb ever since then.
Ever since then.
It's tough.
Relationships are tough.
They're not easy.
I think everybody has come to that realization and understand they're not easy. It takes a lot of sacrifice.
Because it's easier to grow apart than it is to grow together. You see, in order to stay in a relationship, you've got to want to stay in the relationship.
And you've got to be willing to grow every day. Because that's a new person. The person that you went to bed with last night is not the person you're going to wake up with today. Are you willing to change?
Or I mean, cause some, cause it's the days that you don't have,
that you're not your best and they're not at their best.
Cause that's a lot of times what happens, Ocho. They're not at their best.
You're not at their best. You can say, okay, I'm this, I'm out.
Cause it's easy to quit. It. The easiest thing you'll ever do,
no matter what it is, is to give up.
It's to give up, the easiest way.
And another thing, especially for the chat,
listen, listen, listen, listen, listen,
listen to me real quick, y'all probably listen.
You might not like the messenger,
but my message is always good.
You just don't like it coming from me sometimes.
Now, I got 47 years of experience, you know, doing this, you know?
But anyway, most of the time, when you're going through it with your partner or whoever
it may be and things are rocky and you don't know what you should do, let them go.
Let them go.
Because the only way to see someone's true character, I'm talking about their true
character and who you really dealing with, dealing with is by giving them their freedom
and they'll show exactly what they really want to be doing.
Every time, huh?
Give them their freedom.
Let them go about their business, you know, give them some time, give them some space because space will reveal some of your true character. Now I know what you always
telling me. I hear what you're telling me all the time, but you actually show otherwise.
I hear brother.
Oh man listen every time and I'm not, I'm not telling you.
I hear because what they're telling you Ocho and what you see that message is not like it. Yeah
If I tell you if I if I tell you I'm gonna come on a certain time and I don't know what I know
What you told me but when I looked at the clock that wasn't a time and you didn't show it off
Because at the end of the look at the end of the day the beginning of the day or whatever to do the sunset or whatever
the case may be if you do not want to be with Shannon
just tell Shannon that and I'll do that huh ain't nobody ain't nobody finna leave
you man stop playing man it's happened but I like I like honestly I like being
upfront just tell me that and I'm okay with
I like being upfront. Just tell me that and I'm okay with
That for real it's happening
Okay, oh Joe
Because here's the thing a lot of times guys guys get in a situation and like oh, that's never happened to me. You're lying
Because if and the more you invest in something you see how Luca was oh, yeah Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, because he was invested
You see how Luca was a little? Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah.
Because he was invested.
The more you invested anything,
it used to break my heart to lose
because I was so invested.
And a lot of times I would have to go to myself,
be alone.
I would say, hey, I don't wanna see you tonight.
What, what, I just.
No.
And I would just cry and I'd ask,
what could I have done? Why?
Did I not play better?
It's the same thing in a relationship. It can I replay that because see the mind replays what the heart can't delete
And I asked myself what could I have done differently? What could I have said differently?
Why did I have to respond the way I did in this situation?
Why couldn't I be more calm? Why couldn't I be more understanding more empathetic?
And as the more things you go through you start to realize like okay
Shannon it wasn't it wasn't as bad as you are you could have handled that a million different ways and 999,000 of them would have been right.
You chose the one that was wrong.
It, it was tough.
It's tough.
I think the thing for me is that because I've been through so much, because I'm a very private
person, people don't see that. Because I don't live my life up. I'm a public figure. I've
come to accept that. But I do everything I possibly can to keep as much of my private
life private, don't you? So guess what? I can go through things in private. I can grieve in private.
I can celebrate in private.
I'm okay with that.
I can take my wins and my losses.
Yeah.
I like that.
That was a good one.
That was a good one.
That was a good one.
What's up everyone?
It's Greg Rosenthal and I'm teaming up with the king of spring, Daniel Jeremiah.
He requires me to say that.
We're going to be bringing you 40s and free agents.
The only podcast you'll need this NFL draft season from DJ's mock drafts to my top 101
free agents.
We'll have it covered for you with all new episodes every Thursday, keeping you up to
date as we head to the NFL draft.
Listen to 40s and free agents on the iHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever
you get your podcasts. It's Julie Stewart Banks. I'm doing a new podcast from iHeart Podcasts and
the National Hockey League. And I'm paired up with one of my favorite players, the always
quotable Nate Thompson. I wore nine NHL sweaters and I have story after story to share. And believe
it or not, I have plenty to say, and not just about hockey.
Believe me, he does.
Energy Line with Nate and JSB is the name of the podcast,
and it's gonna be, well, it's gonna be quite the ride.
We're officially line mates, Nate.
We're the Energy Line.
We'll have plenty of folks join us,
current players, some of my former teammates,
Hall of Famers, and wait to see some of the connections
that Julie has. She has quite the Rolodex.
Okay, we'll lean into Nate's playing experience and tap into our interests away from hockey
and try to do what Energy Lines are supposed to do, provide an emotional boost. How do
you feel about all that, Nate?
I'm vibing, Julie. I'm ready to roll.
Listen to Energy Line with Nate and JSB on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever
you get your podcasts.
I'm Israel Gutierrez and I'm hosting a new podcast, Dub Dynasty, the story of how the
Golden State Warriors have dominated the NBA for over a decade.
The Golden State Warriors once again are NBA champions.
From the building of the core that included Clay Thompson
and Draymond Green to one of the boldest coaching decisions
in the history of the sport.
I just felt like the biggest thing was to earn the trust
of the players and let the players know that we were here
to try to help them take the next step,
not tear anything down.
Today, the Warriors dynasty remains alive,
in large part because of a scrawny 6'2
hooper who everyone seems to love.
For what Steph has done for the game, he's certainly on that Mount Russmore for guys
that have changed it.
Come revisit this magical Warriors ride.
This is Dubb Dynasty.
The Dubb's dynasty is still very much alive.
Listen to Dubb Dynasty on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

J. Edgar Hoover was furious somebody violated the FBI

The FBI went around to all their neighbors
and said to them,
do you think these people are good Americans?
It's got heists, tragedy, a trial of the century, and the god-damnedest love story you've ever
heard.
I picked up the phone and my thought was, this is the most important phone call I'll
ever make in my life.
I couldn't believe it.
I mean, Brendan, it was divine intervention.
Listen to Divine Intervention on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Man, that was good, brother. Shit.
Man, that was good, brother. Shit.
It happens.
Cupcake Mama, good evening, guys of the public figure.
Where do you all go to be fully yourselves with no judgment?
If your love life was a book,
what would the title of last chapter be?
The title of my letter?
Where can I go to be my fully self?
Where can I go?
Probably if I'm with my brother, my sister, my kids.
But I'm only like that if I'm in the privacy of my own home.
But I'm never myself when I'm out in public.
Oh shoot, but you better...
When I'm with my sister, I'm with my brother, I'm with my kids,
I'm straight my sister, I'm with my brother, I'm with my kids, I'm straightened up.
Because Ocho is just so hard because I feel that every place I go, I'm being recorded,
I'm being filmed. And I think you have to do that now. And some things you learn a hard lesson. So for me
Nowhere and I'm okay with that Ocho. I'm okay with that. Yeah. Hey, I'm
Boy, I mean when I think about it
I'm myself. I'm very comfortable obviously publicly. Um, you and I are completely different
Okay, we are two sitting two different sides of the spectrums. You know, I'm very sociable, I'm a social butterfly,
which at times has gotten me in trouble, you know?
I'm able to be myself in front of crowds,
I love large crowds, or I can be by myself
and be alone and be with my kids.
I'm able to be myself with my kids, most definitely.
I'm able to be myself with whoever kids most definitely. I'm able to be myself
with whoever it is I'm seeing at that time, but there's a certain level of comfort, you know with with with with said individual
I'm one of the few. I'm is it out your bird is that was called out your bird
I'll talk introvert out your bird introvert. No, I'm not
Introvert is a neck you an expert. Yeah, you're out introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert, introvert,'m at my happy place all the time, especially with my babe. I'm the most outgoing introvert you're going to ever meet. I understand that blah blah blah.
If I'm in a public event and I'm talking, I'm going from place to place.
Oh Joe, when I get home, it's like I played a game.
I'm exhausted.
I'm spent.
I mean, it's all I can do to take my shoes off, to take my clothes off, to hang them up, put them in the laundry.
I'm exhausted.
Uh, I, I, I'm on a plane, Oh Joe, and I catch people.
They're recording me. I'm like a plane, Ocho, and I catch people, they're recording me.
I'm like, bro.
Ocho, they asked me if that's a problem.
I'm like, really?
Hey.
Really, if you didn't think it was a problem,
you would've asked me.
Could I take a picture?
That's not what you did.
Hey, I'll play into it.
Yeah, I catch you recording me. I'm gonna play into it
I'm a walk up on you till you turn the camera around and make a whole video
We're gonna make a video together. See I play in the stuff like that instead of me you and I we we we handle conflict
It's a completely different
If I do know you know thing is that I think you just, you know, you, I've learned to accept it.
This is a part of it now.
I've learned to accept a lot of things that people don't have.
I'm going to be the top of a conversation.
You just deal with it.
Just deal with it. Just deal with it. I know now, Ocho, what to respond to and what not to respond to.
And people want me to respond.
They want to get into a verbal back and forth.
I'm done with it.
I'm done with it.
Because guess what, Ocho?
You see that light?
What's behind us?
All that stuff that they say about me, it ain't stop. Not one sponsor.
Guess what? Jordan came here and measured.
We got another sponsor.
We'll have a light on for that, too.
You don't send me one.
Not if you don't turn it on.
Why must anyone you don't turn out?
Well, you got to tell me, hold on.
Let me let me know before I do the measurements tomorrow.
I'm putting everything up. Hey, this, this apartment is empty. Ain't nothing here.
I left this here because I still have my internet. My internet gonna be tomorrow.
How much space I need to put between the sponsors so I can, so I can measure tomorrow.
I don't know. I mean, Jordan, Jordan just measure mine. We'll see how big it is.
I need to know how many words are in it so I can have everything perfect.
I got a big space so I'm gonna have all the sparkles.
But you don't, but Ocho, you don't know the space
that you're gonna have the nightcap sign on.
No, I do, it's huge, y'all.
You got to see, you got to see my new game room, huh?
You gonna love it.
Hey y'all, you and Ash and Jordan,
y'all gotta come down here and visit.
I'm gonna cook for y'all.
Oh no, I'm good.
I'm good.
And so that's the thing.
I just learned and I had to learn the hard way
going back and forth with people
and they got more out of that than I did.
So now I just let it go.
Well, you let yours go.
I'm firing back when somebody says something to me.
You can go right ahead.
Cause guess what?
This side.
And all in the sponsors and the advertisers,
they not stop.
They have a stop.
Can't stop. Won't stop.

Hey DC let me tell you something He know it real. They not. He not going to no place.
Hey DC, let me tell you something bro.
I never had the opportunity to tell you in person, but I'm going to tell you right now
in front of the world.
Bro I love and I salute you.
Bro I appreciate it OG.
Bro I love and I salute you.
It's a pleasure to have you.
It's an honor man.
You're OG and my bro.
Both of y'all.
You know what's up.
Yes sir.
No doubt.
DC Young Fly, he's host of Hawks AF.
And we have an announcement to make.
Shay Shay Media is partnering with Atlanta Hawks and bringing DC's popular show, Shay
Shay Media.
Hey, man, I appreciate you hosting that.
Yeah, yeah.
Let's go.
Hey, tell us more about the show that you're going to be bringing. Man, Hawks is Yeah, go. Hey, tell us more about the show
that you're gonna be, uh, changing.
Man, Hawks and Friends, man,
you dig what I'm saying?
Like, I done became like a pioneer for the Hawks,
and especially like with the City of Atlanta,
just by showing support.
Man, I always said that I wanted to be like,
despite me of Atlanta, you feel what I'm saying?
So I kinda like taught, I taught it fruition,
you feel what I'm saying?
Like, basketball was my first love love and a lot of people don't
Understand like what what what it you don't understand what you really first fell in love with you feel what I'm saying
So basketball my first love so I know what I'm talking about and I've been in a shoes
So I just be one of the players the you know saying bring that that dog that dog feeling long
You got that dog you gonna be I but I'm bridging the gap from the city and the Hawks man
And the Hawks is really like one of the major teams that really be diving into the community.
So they been rocking with me.
So we locked and loaded.
We got crazy interviews, man.
We got Dominique on that thing.
You dig what I'm saying?
We got Mariah the scientist on that thing.
Who else we got?
We got D2, my boy Dyson on that thing.
You feel me?
And it's a good opportunity to see the people that you love, you know what I'm saying?
In a brighter light, in a kind of like an enormous space.
Like y'all, like nobody knew that y'all had this personality until you able to show them, you feel me?
So it attracts more people that's just like you and it attracts people who are already been rocking with you, especially with y'all career.
So, you know, H.O.S.ks, AF, man, we going crazy, baby.
I am the energy coach, baby.
Yeah.
Hey, listen, I like that.
Now, listen, I'm going to throw my foot in the pot already.
You know, so since you, since you're a part of that, Shae Shae Media, Atlanta
Hawks, now, how do I go about getting tickets to sit course side in Atlanta?
I don't come to Atlanta often, but if you can get me tickets to sit course side,
I'll come out there and really enjoy some basketball and sit here with you, man. We could talk about this one. I'm saying I would definitely get you with me
I would give you my ticket. See I'd be talking to them, right? This one. I'm trying to tell you right
It's real estate on that court. They don't care if you work for them or not
That's real estate. All right, right them seats got to be sold man
Sold so you feel what I'm saying?
That's how the players get their salary, them seats.
Yes, I like.
I like.
Oh.
Oh, okay, I'll say now you're making sense.
You did.
Listen, I'm picking up what you put there.
You did, that's what I'm trying to tell you now.
I'm dying there for a reason now.
Hey, how you doing?
My name DC Young Fly.
Fly.
That's.
DC.. Fly.
DC, that center is very unique because people that look like you and I, we show up for the Falcons, we show up for the Hawks, and that thing be live. It's like any other city. There might be a lot of other cities,
but ain't nothing like ATL. They turn up to support their Hawks. They turn up to support the Falcons.
Hey, I heard the Falcons team live. Listen, we already had a game with them. We so good.
Listen, we still gonna fight and them game be turpin'. All the mess can be, all the expanded being that link.
I heard.
Hold on, hold on. See, what I told you about when I go watch the other WNBA team,
when I'm on the dream.
We been talking, listen, we go support everybody.
Man, listen, that was my first time going to a game,
so I didn't know what to expect.
Everybody making fun of WNBA,
are they doing all this talking about,
I ain't never seen no atmosphere like that.
From start to finish, they just rocked it.
When it was a time out, there was a club. It was a party.
It ain't a half time to be lit. So get with it. IGD going crazy too.
But I told one of the players, he looked at me and dropped 40 too. I said, see this one up.
I like it. I see
Like it I like it and the relationship and the relationship DC has with the players I mean I see you and I see those guys in the relationship and the relationship that you guys have with the Balkans player
Hell, you bring game, you know what it is though
Y'all a talented, you know what I'm saying? Y'all got a
natural God gift that he bless y'all with. Sometimes those players don't be having no support down there, man.
Nobody be coming to that game still at that level. Ain't nobody come to see them play. You feel me?
So when they really have somebody there that really like got their best interest, where it be like, look, I'm gonna never
When they really have somebody that really got their best interest, where they be like, look, I'm going to never say what you bad at.
I'm going to only say, look, this can be tweaked and you a dog in this era, this area right
here.
Don't get in your head.
As long as you be a dog, you're going to be great, especially at this level.
Y'all done been to the NFL.
Only dogs.
Y'all some dogs.
You know a dog when you see one
That's why y'all talk y'all talk every time you get a chance
But it's like if you don't have that that dog feeling bro, you would just get your fall to the waist. You'll be like me
Yeah, don't be over here with me I'm just trying to get I'm trying to keep you from being over here with me
Mm-hmm. Listen, like this see what do you expect from the Hawks in the play-in tournament?
You guys are solidified, you're in the play-in tournament, and you need to, obviously, hey,
the season didn't go the way you had hoped, hoped you'd be in the playoffs and not have
to be in the play-in, but here you are.
I feel like we're gonna be, we're gonna dominate, we're gonna dominate, and we gonna dominate,
you know we gonna dominate, cause I'm gonna be there.
We got, you just gotta play hard and play smart.
You feel what I'm saying?
Like we got a lot of talent on our team.
You feel what I'm saying?
And when you put a lot of, you know what I'm saying?
Good skittles in one bag, it's hard to pick one out.
You feel what I'm saying?
So it's kind of like, you gotta pace yourself out.
You feel me?
We got a great team, man.
We got a high energy
Team too, so we got to know how to use that energy from the first quarter all the way through
Yeah, so listen that's one question from about the Hawks, but I'm gonna talk about the Falcons
You've been right with the Falcons forever. I don't want to know what's your honest take on the new area?
And are you rocking with the new young quarterback? I?
Don't know that crap. Oh take on the new era and are you rocking with the new young quarterback? I almost just cried. Man, hey man listen, I'm a real Atlanta fan, bro.
I'm still messed up, but can I curse on your show?
Is this?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I ain't no anchor.
I ain't no curse because of this heartfelt.
I'm messed up, still from Super Bowl.
What, that 28-3?
You gotta repeat it though, bro. Well, I'm just saying, that's when you gotta repeat though, bro
Well, I'm just saying that's that's it. No, do that. No, I don't do that. My bad. You know what?
I'm a faculty fan to the heart. I'm a faculty fan to the heart, but I'm one of them real Atlanta
Atlanta ATL is where it's like you got to show me that y'all want to play for the city
Right cuz now it's politics and it's business.
I just can't come.
I just can't come.
And I don't know what I'm about to get.
At least I know what the Hawks, the boys will go out there and play hard.
The soccer team, they're going to go out there with the championship, the Braves.
They're going to go out there and they're going to get some home run.
You go to a foul game, you be like, man.
Home run you go to a bad game you be like man
So it is you know, but I know we gonna be good I feel like with our new quarterback We started to keep back into our rhythm
I think we've been out our rhythm ever since the Super Bowl like we just been we we have we had rhythm
I think we got the rhythm now. I think we got it
Yeah, y'all young young with y'all hey DC, y'all be crunk up at A
in the Mercedes.
Because people ain't got nowhere to go.
People ain't got nowhere to go.
Y'all better be winning no game.
They just going to the spot.
They didn't know niggas over there playing football.
They like, look, we gonna pull up,
it's gonna be a game, but we just go.
Hey, listen, hey, you know what? It's dope's dope obviously being from Atlanta and I can hear the passion
and enthusiasm that you had for all your sports there, whether it be football, whether it
be soccer, whether it be basketball.
So let's go, you as an athlete yourself, if you could pick one sport, if you could do
it all over again, you could pick one sport out of the three that you can play and actually
make it as an elite athlete
what would it be in what position would you play baseball because I played it
the longest but I play baseball we go to the 11th grade outfielder I you try to
run on me I play right field I gun you down I mean I can't say that I mean
I mean throw the ball yeah I know I was a five I was a five to a little high school what you talking the ball fast. That means throw the ball fast. Yeah, I know.
I was a five, two in high school.
What you talking about?
Who cares about none of that?
Yeah, you can get your little jump.
Get your little jump.
You gonna hit a ball.
The ball will see.
You already know what that mean.
You already know what that mean.
You hit a ball for a hit to mid.
You like, oh, that's fucking hard.
But I go with basketball because
It's it's easy to I won't say easy
If you just get one time you get on ESPN you got to know how to capitalize out there
You you you want to do everybody just think it's only one little broad
No, it's so many people in the NBA if you want a name all you need to do is act like you want a name
Do something you feel me Russell Westbrook my favorite He just got that aggression. You got that dog in him if it is the folk play like Ross. Oh, man
How you feel about the NBA without these calls and they can't even really play how can they let them fight?
They let them they let them go to timeout come back. What's going on, bro?
What we doing in going on, bro?
What we doing in the basketball, man?
They did away with that. The fans was turned off about that fight
like they used to have in the 70s and the 80s
and even in the 90s.
Hey, Davis, enough of this.
They can go skate, not TV, all that.
The rough get out the way.
We go over here, we can't even get a file.
TV all that rough get out the way we go here. We can't even get a file is
Yeah It plus DC you make it 50 60 million dollars
I am gonna get none of that back right and you're not gonna sit me down for 20 30 gay it take 50 million dollars
Yeah, yeah, oh yeah, oh no you got 75 thousand for a gesture you throw a punch
Oh, yeah. Hey, no, you got 75,000 for a gesture you throw a punch
Hey, you might get to go sit down two games. That's
Like these are me. He's a grown man. These forgot testosterone default playing with aggression
How do you want these folk to play if I don't go you? I'm not going straight back
I'm looking for your mom. I'm like who raised this thing up for that?
But it's all fun and games. We're going to go to the barbecue and everything.
But I got to talk my shit.
Mm-hmm.
Listen, you got to do it in an instruction manner.
I call it control chaos.
I call it control chaos. The can try to call it control chaos.
The better you are to be able to control yourself, but still be chaotic within the parameters
of the game and the rules of the game, then you'll be all right. Once you push the envelope
and step across that line, they're going to take your money every time.
But do they not understand that even that part of aggression though, it makes the players
better because it's like, I want you to be great because if you come out here on your a game and
I ain't playing well, they mean you got the best for me today. They mean I got to go work on yeah
But if I'm always good, I don't know how great I really am
But DC you know how it is how we are
Even if we have not played anything you keep getting in my face if you get the best of me.
I won't say no.
But see, but then they're like,
oh, you said you gotta have control of chaos.
You can't get mad,
cause you having a bad day.
Oh no, you infinity keep getting in my face.
You just gotta know how to talk smack.
You gotta be a better smack talker.
Yeah.
That's it.

I'm Israel Gutierrez, and I'm hosting a new podcast,
Dub Dynasty, the story of how the Golden State Warriors
have dominated the NBA for over a decade.
The Golden State Warriors once again are NBA champions.
From the building of the core that included Clay Thompson and Draymond Green,
to one of the boldest coaching decisions in the history of the sport.
I just felt like the biggest thing was to earn the trust of the players
and let the players know that we were here to try to help them take the next step,
not tear anything down.
Today, the Warriors dynasty remains alive,
in large part because of a scrawny 6-foot-two hooper who everyone seems to love. For what
Steph has done for the game, he's certainly on that like Mount Russmore
for guys that have changed it. Come revisit this magical Warriors ride. This
is Dubb dynasty. The Dubb's dynasty is still very much alive. Listen to Dubb Dynasty on the iHeart radio app,
Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
It's Julie Stewart Banks.
I'm doing a new podcast from iHeart podcasts
and the National Hockey League.
And I'm paired up with one of my favorite players,
the always quotable Nate Thompson.
I wore nine NHL sweaters and I have story after story to share.
And believe it or not, I have plenty to say and not just about hockey.
Believe me, he does.
Energy Line with Nate and JSB is the name of the podcast and it's going to be, well,
it's going to be quite the ride.
We're officially line mates, Nate.
We're the Energy Line.
We'll have plenty of folks join us,
current players, some of my former teammates, Hall of Famers, and wait to see
some of the connections that Julie has. She has quite the Rolodex. Okay, we'll
lean into Nate's playing experience and tap into our interests away from hockey
and try to do what Energy Lines are supposed to do, provide an emotional
boost. How do you feel about all that Nate? I'm vibing Julie.
I'm ready to roll.
Listen to Energy Line with Nate and JSB on the iHeartRadio app, Apple
podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
My name is Brendan Patrick Hughes, host of Divine Intervention.
This is a story about radical nuns in combat boots and wild haired priests
trading blows with J. Edgar Hoover
in a hell-bent effort to sabotage a war.
J. Edgar Hoover was furious somebody violated the FBI
and he wanted to bring the Catholic love to its knees.
The FBI went around to all their neighbors
and said to them,
do you think these people are good Americans?
It's got heists, tragedy, a trial of the century,
and the god damn best love story you've ever heard.
I picked up the phone and my thought was,
this is the most important phone call
I'll ever make in my life.
I couldn't believe it.
I mean, Brendan, it was divine intervention.
Listen to Divine Intervention on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
That's all it is.
You see, what happened? Think about it.
Even when we were in school and we was ragging, if you laughed too much, you got swung on. That's all it is. You see, what happened? Think about it.
Even when we were in school and we were ragging, if you laughed too much, you got swung on.
But see, sometimes when you laugh at you hard, you're bleeding you in.
You're bleeding you in.
Yah.
Hey, I got a good one for you.
Mount Rushmore.
I'm not even finna ask you about rappers. Most of the time they always talk about the Mount Rushmore I'm not even finaically about rappers most of the time they always about the Mount Rushmore Atlanta rappers

I don't care.
That's the way the folks are talking about DC.
Man this thing go talk about something like that.
This thing got several hundred and
wild bay home runs and you go talk about Chipper.
And I love Chipper.
I forgot Harry.
Hey, how you suppose to remember that?
I'm trying to tell you.
He ain't no hand carer. Hey, what about supposed to remember that?
I'm trying to tell you.
He ain't no hand-carry.
Hey, what about all the hand-carrying BMW and all the damn stuff that hand-carry got
over there?
My billboard would be, it would be Julio though.
Okay, okay.
It definitely would be Julio.
He's deserving of, we gonna ask another.
Yeah, but he got to know who that was. He got to know who that was for.
You know what I'm saying?
But I definitely want to Andrew Jones, but you know Chipper with my dog.
I like it.
Oh Chipper, I mean look, they love, they love, hey, I'm surprised, well theoretically he ain't,

Hey DC let me ask you question you got to the committee space who are some of your influences?
Your style that you that you like, you know what? I kind of like your style. Let me see if I can incorporate some of that.
It's not really just incorporating.
It's like when you're a student and it's just like when you're playing football,
man, y'all got people to make sure that your techniques are on point.
Y'all got people that you got to run through drills.
You got to go through the courses to make sure you're fast.
So it's just like people like Mike Epps, man, he teach me about longevity.
You feel me? When you watch and study somebody like that, you like, nah, that's naturally funny.
That's longevity.
So one thing you wanna do is just go up there and have fun.
And look how long you can do it.
Food, learn that from him.
And then you got people like Cat.
You know what I'm saying?
You like, okay, that's wrong.
You feel me?
You don't wanna switch up.
You wanna, if you wanna go for what you know,
go for what you know.
Then you got people like Dave who got a pen. You feel me? He don't let to switch up you you want to you want to if you want to go for what you know go for what? You know do you got people like Dave who got a pin you feed me? He'll let me go to waste
He gonna pin it up
You got people like you got ladies man. You got ladies like Dominique like don't don't
She'll come on the stage
LaValle Crawford, so this isn't I'm just a student of the game, man.
You know, I like to see why people are funny.
Like, that's when I look at, when I look at other comics, I be like, I wonder why people like them.
And then when you just listen to it, you just be like, that's just them.
And you just got to find you. When you realize that, you just got to find you.
The more you on stage, you'll just find you.
You just got to find you the more you on stage you'll just find you
The word on the street is that Warner Brothers green lit Friday, it's the last Friday in the installment
Come on smokey
That you miss me I come from the yeah, you can't be lying you can't be laughing me like that Just don't what if I would have never been working?
You can't be laughing me like that. What if I would have never been working?
And I would have just been waiting in my life. Hey, well, you know, they better put me in there moving that
What if it don't happen? I
Got to keep working But what we can do is right a whole nother chemistry with certain actors and actresses
You see what I'm saying? So it like what we looking for the name or you want the actors or actresses, you see what I'm saying? So it like, what we looking for, the name
or we want the actors or actresses?
We would hope that it would come back,
but what if it don't come back, y'all?
Well, do that mean that we stop creating?
Do that mean we don't make a movie?
Do that mean me and you can't be in a movie
or it had to be Friday?
You let do it the day after Thursday.
Hell, hell, hell, we call it Thursday. Two days after Wednesday, they'll get it. Let's do it the day after Thursday
You feel me but I hope I hope it's in the midst You know I'm saying I hope it's in the worst
But people don't understand like when you did it with big entities like that that it's like real estate
If it's six people on this particular, you know, I'm saying IP
Can't let get sold to get cleared to all six
of them on the same page. Oh yeah. You feel me? Yeah. What DC what you got coming up next?
What's on the line? Man, more 85 South, you dig what I'm saying? More movies, more TV shows, we in the
executive bad man you know I'm saying I'm starting to incorporate people that I find funny You know I'm saying like Jack like Jack money
Money bag mafia dig what I'm saying. It's a lot of people that's out there. You know, my boy Blake great you dig
Us 2500 we just we just trying to figure out like
How do I incorporate my people and continue to grow and just continue to just you know I'm saying creating a space man
You know I'm saying cuz when you're executive
You got to understand where you playing that in this game
You got to know what type of player you is in this game right? I'm trying you be selling to the wrong people
Right now I just heard you I just heard you mention some people that you felt was funny
And the funny thing about it is you didn't really mention my name
I ain't know you be doing no funny you funny funny, Ocho. You funny looking but I don't know.
Hey why did, hey why he some dog with a black backdrop? Why you do that? Like, what black
shades on? I told him to cut his light on. He he cut his light on. He got a black shades, he super dog,
with a black backdrop.
But I'm trying to talk business, I don't wanna roast.
We are gonna show you at the end of the show right now.
I'm talking about me, I'm talking about,
I'm trying to jump on the bandwagon now.
I'm trying to do some comedy too.
Now, I can, huh?
You wanna tell the life? I can, I can. Huh?
What am I saying?
We can't see you.
Damn, that messed up.
Yeah, you should have your light on.
They're paying us a lot of money to have the damn light on.
You got the light off.
It's not, it's not.
It's like your head.
It's not running.
That light ain't on.
It don't even look.
You know, I got to pay an electricity bill.
That should be sky high.
I know they pay.
Oh, who's paying for it?
Huh? OK.
Yeah, who's paying for that?
I'm not.
I'm not. I'm not.
I'm not.
Plug that thing in.
Hey, hold on.
What's up?
So when we going on, we can do stand up too man.
How you supposed to be fighting somebody?
I'm going to whip that in the ass. Don't worry about that.
But I want to do some stand up.
Put your ass all over the place man. You need to focus on something.
What you want to do man? You want to be a boxer or you want to do stand up?
Listen, boxer, comedian, I do stand up, soccer, football, TV, podcast.
You do one thing about stand up, you gotta play that.
Hey, don't you?
That's easy.
That's not easy.
I can do that?
Why people think it's easy?
That's not easy.
Hold on, hold on.
Listen, whoa, whoa, whoa.
State me real quick.
At the improv, you know Marlon Dixon, right?
Ben Chabrere, right?
When they had the improv on Tuesdays
while I was in the league during the off season,
I never missed the improv.
You was going up.
When the first, when the first comic got booed,
who you think it finished when it went up there
and finished the set?
Not you.
Man, ask Benji Brown and Marv Dixon
about me going on stage, boy.
What, you happy with somebody out
or you was going on stage?
No, no, no, no, no.
Boy, I'm funny boy
