Starting point is 00:05:03 this is an unbelievable honor to be in the NFL. But while I'm here, hell, I'm trying to win. I'm trying to be an all pro, trying to make the Pro Bowl. I'm trying to be remembered. I'm trying to be legendary. So that's what we want Nightcap to be. We want it to be legendary. And it would be an immense honor if we were to win an NAACP image award.
Starting point is 00:05:23 So thank you for the nomination, NAACP, and thank you for the fans that's going to vote. Excuse me, Ocho. It's time for our first segment of the day, Newscast. The 49ers fired defensive coordinator Steve Wilkins after one season. Oh, my bad. I forgot. I forgot.
Starting point is 00:05:39 We got graphics. Look at that. Woo! Hey, dude, it's big. My bad. My bad, Ash. I'll get the hang of it this is all that second time but i think by sunday i'll have it down pat in our first segment of the day news gap 49ers fired defensive coordinator steve wilks after one season kyle shanahan announced that
Starting point is 00:05:57 they're moving saying wilks was always the outsider looking in shanahan said, yes, that was the hardest part. I knew that was a challenge. It's tough, but it's real tough losing D'Amico. It's tough losing Salah two years before. Guess what? Robert Salah was a defensive coordinator. They lost the Super Bowl. He didn't get fired.
Starting point is 00:06:18 He got another head coaching job. D'Amico Ryan was the defensive coordinator, and they lost the NFC Championship game. He didn't get fired. He got a head coaching job. D'Amico Ryan was the defensive coordinator and they lost the NFC Championship game. He didn't get fired. He got a head coaching job. So, in other words, are you really going to put all of this on? Look, Ojo.
Starting point is 00:06:35 Go ahead. I'm going to let you finish. I've known Kyle Shanahan since he was 12. I played for his dad. When we were in training camp, he was there every day, shagging balls doing a lot of stuff he wasn't there during the week because he was in school but on Sunday before
Starting point is 00:06:52 the cordless Mike he was on the cord for his dad so I know Kyle Shanahan 35 years that's how long I've known him 35 years so this is not easy for me but I think it deserves to be said 35 years. That's how long I've known him. 35 years. So this is not easy for me.
Starting point is 00:07:08 But I think it deserves to be said. I don't agree with the decision. Because there were some decisions that you made. Like taking the ball. Why the hell you take the ball in overtime? When you know the first score, a touchdown will not win you the game. And then you give everything. You give the opposing team an opportunity to know what you got. So they know, like, guess what?
Starting point is 00:07:32 Oh, Joe. Oh, they got a field goal. Guess what? We get a touchdown. We win. But guess what? I got more downs because I already know what I got to do. That's why in college they defer because they want to see. They want to know what they got to do. That's why in college, they defer because they want to see, they want
Starting point is 00:07:46 to know what they got to do. Do they need a field goal because the team didn't score or do we need a touchdown? What about you not running the football? Even though you weren't gashing, but that was going to keep my homes off the field and
Starting point is 00:08:01 that was going to tie them down. So you made some mistakes i mean look green law didn't help your cause are you not going to factor in one of your best players goes down on the flukiest accident in super bowl history as fluky as the helmet catch was that injury to green law was even more fluky how many times doncho, have you stood on the sideline and took off and ran on the field? Yeah, many a times. It's routine. I don't
Starting point is 00:08:32 know. In my year, 14 years of playing, in all my years of watching, I've seen somebody start to run on the field and tear their Achilles. Now, we've been on the sideline, Ocho, when they had the cords and we see guys, the cords,
Starting point is 00:08:45 they pull it and guys get their feet taken out from under them and they hurt themselves like that. But to just like and snap his Achilles? No, I haven't seen that. But I do not agree with this
Starting point is 00:08:56 because they held him to 19 points in regulation. 19 points. Not only did they hold him to 19 points, they have had a phenomenal season defensively all season long. Defensively, they had a great season. Under Wilks, they were a top defense, a top five defense in the NFL.
Starting point is 00:09:17 So some of the decision-making, not only from the head coach, who needs to take accountability for the loss as well, but let's talk about the other situations, the other big time games that Mr. Shanahan has been in that he has lost. One, as a coordinator with the Atlanta Falcons. Yep. Hello? You up 28-3.
Starting point is 00:09:36 They wouldn't run the ball. You stopped running the goddamn ball to take the time off the clock and allow Tom Brady and the New England Patriots to come back. Let's talk about this game. In the third quarter, your best offensive weapon, CMC, you stopped running the ball with him to put the ball in the air. There were two downs where you should have run the ball. I think it might have, was it the third quarter? It might have been the third, maybe the fourth quarter. You should have given the ball to CMC. A second down and third down, you chose to throw the ball and you gave the ball back to Patrick
Starting point is 00:10:08 Mahomes. Again, those are on you as the head coach. You're making those calls. One of the reasons why you left. One of the reasons why you lost. It wasn't Steve Wilt's fault, Ocho. It wasn't his fault that the PAT got blocked. You put that on Steve Wilt?
Starting point is 00:10:24 Listen, the special team, the special team debacle, that wasn't Steve Wiltz's fault either. No. Matter of fact, if they don't have that debacle on special teams and Ray Ray gets that ball, you win the game. Right. You win the game. You gave them momentum. They scored a touchdown on that.
Starting point is 00:10:43 But here's the thing, Ocho. You gave them momentum. They scored a touchdown on that. But here's the thing, Ocho. It's the fact that he said losing Salah, losing D'Amico. Really? When you still had the same top defense, even with Wilks, it was still the same.
Starting point is 00:10:57 So Wilks was that bad. You make it seem like you lost Spags. Spags was the fourth-time defensive coach that won Super Bowls. Right. Bill Belichick is a two-time as a D coordinator, and we know he coordinated all those great defenses in New England. Bro, come on now. And Robert Sala, so what about his defense? What is defense doing?
Starting point is 00:11:21 Man, stop this. And for you to do that, oh, we know losing Sala was tough. He lost. Robert Sala, last game as the defensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers, was an L after you had a 20-10 lead in the fourth quarter. The Kansas City
Starting point is 00:11:38 Chiefs scored 21 points. So whose fault was that? And guarantee you, if Sah didn't get a job, he was coming back. I get D'Amico's situation. That was a fluky situation, Ocho. Because
Starting point is 00:11:53 second player of the game, Riddick hits Purdy's elbow, tears the ligament in his elbow. I get that. But to say we knew it was going to be tough, like Steve Wilson's fettuccine. That's what we call a scapegoat. That's what we call a scapegoat to get some of the pressure off yourself.
Starting point is 00:12:10 And obviously, the media, has the media failed for that in understanding what's going on in the situation? Of course not. No, and then Nick Bosa talked about, we could have been better prepared. For what? You could have been better prepared to know the rules in overtime. we could have been better prepared. For what? You could have been better prepared to know the rules in overtime.
Starting point is 00:12:24 And if you stopped crashing your ass down and let Patrick Mahomes get the edge, you could have been better prepared. So how prepared were you in the first half when y'all was all over Patrick Mahomes? Prepared very well. Playing very well. Now all of a sudden,
Starting point is 00:12:41 we could have been better prepared. You could have done a better job. 49ers finished 2023, the season third in points. They only allowed 17 points per game. Wait. Yes. 17 points per game. When D'Amico Ryan was there, they only allowed 18 points per game.
Starting point is 00:12:57 So, obviously, this year. They got better. Last I checked, 17 is less than 18. They got better. They finished fifth in takeaways with 28 and had 22 interceptions, which tied for first in the league. And obviously, you know,
Starting point is 00:13:11 the 49ers finished the season 12-5 before even getting to the playoffs. Yes. But Mr. Wilks is a problem, an issue. Scapegoat. That's the only thing. There's really no other logical answer to why you would fire Mr. Wilkes after a season like he's had.
Starting point is 00:13:28 And to say the man wasn't outside of looking in? Wait, those are his words, really? Yes. Move saying Wilkes wasn't outside of looking in. Yeah, that was the hardest part. I knew that was a challenge. It's tough. It was tough. But it's real tough losing D' was a challenge it's tough it was tough but it's real
Starting point is 00:13:46 tough losing the miko it's tough losing solace two years before so is he saying that he wasn't is he saying he wasn't his choice to begin with when he when you say outside looking in you know what he wasn't the guy i really wanted but i bought him in anyway you think that's where you could hello you look the buck starts with kyle i know john lynch is the general manager but the buck starts with kyle right i know how his dad operated i know how he operates so if you there if there was somebody that you thought was better you would have got him clearly i just want steve wilks and i look i know steve a little bit because steve was the head coach of my alma mater savannah state So you see how he's worked his way up.
Starting point is 00:14:25 But he's got a raw deal in Arizona. After one year, they fired him. He got a raw deal in Carolina after he did a great job filling in for Matt Rule. And he got the rawest of rawest deals. And I know I don't give a damn about no Pauls. He got a raw deal. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:41 That's some bull jive. Yeah, it is. And I just want somebody to give this man an opportunity. I believe he's earned an opportunity to have more than one effing year or seven games on an effing job. Right. Because that's all he's got, Nocho. He got one year as the D coordinator in San Francisco,
Starting point is 00:15:02 and they make it seem like they were a bottom feeder defense. They gave up 17 points a game, and he held Patrick Mahomes to 19 points in regulation. Yeah. And who was going to play offensively? That should have beat. And you already scored 19 in regulation. Why are you over there bumping him?
Starting point is 00:15:23 There's some bull jobs. Like I said, I think Steve Wilson's got the raw deal. He's got the raw deal at every turn. One year in Arizona. why you over there bumping them there's some bull jobs like i said i think steve wilson's got the raw deal he's got the raw deal at every turn one year in arizona seven eight games in uh in carolina and not one year again so if you add it all up together the man i mean come on man damn what do you gotta do they playing games there's a whole nother side of the tale i'm not even gonna get in What do you got to do? They playing games. There's a whole nother side of the tale. I'm not even going to get in.
Starting point is 00:15:52 The run defense took a more severe tumble from two to 26. Well, they decreased in points, but it wasn't like they got the ball run down their throat. It wasn't like Kansas City ran the ball. Look, a lot of those runs was Patrick Mahomes scrambling. Yeah, that fourth down, that was a design run to put him on the edge. Look, if that guy crashes, we're going to throw the ball to the flat and he kills. The RPO option? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:15 Yes. That was a good play call. It was a great play call because you're not... Look, maybe if that's Lamar Jackson, maybe if that's Justin Fields, I'm if that's uh justin fields i'm planning for some type of run pass option right i ain't thinking and i ain't thinking i'm thinking more run than pass with those two guys right i'm not thinking run no run up run no run up with uh patrick holmes no at all and then he came back like what one or two plays later and hit right
Starting point is 00:16:42 up the seam kind of like he he did against Philly the year before in the Super Bowl. It took off. Right up there you got. Man, that just, man, I feel bad for Wilks. Hopefully he gets an opportunity. He should. He should. All the coaching vacancies, maybe not head coaching, but all the
Starting point is 00:16:59 All the D coordinator jobs are filled. All the head coaching jobs are filled. Damn. Damn. That's crazy when you think about it. Yes. Who's been field? Who's come in as a D coordinator now for the 49ers?
Starting point is 00:17:14 I guess they're going to promote from within. That's totally unfair because now someone takes over that defense that is already good. It kind of reminds me of the Mark Jackson situation in a sense. Yeah. Because they're already good. Obviously, the coaching also helped when you have the personnel. Hell, it's going to take care of itself.
Starting point is 00:17:37 When you had those kind of players on defense, it's going to take care of itself. Ochoa and I both disagree with the decision of the 49ers.ers if their decision to do whatever they want but I vehemently I stringently disagree with that decision I wish Steve Wilks the best
Starting point is 00:17:52 hell like I said I've known Kyle I played against John Lynch I know Lynch very very well hell I know Mike Shanahan he still has he's still in the building but this is I do not agree with this decision this was a bull job decision. And I'll go to, and I'll take that.
Starting point is 00:18:09 And I stand on that. You know, I got my white Air Force Ones on. And, you know, Desi say, you know, white Air Force One, you know, that's different than them black Air Force Ones. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't own no black Air Force Ones, but I'm standing on it. Hold on. The Cowboys, Ocho, hired a new defensive coordinator.
Starting point is 00:18:31 They hired Mike Zimmer, and Zimmer came and said, we're not trying to reinvent the wheel. Over the last three seasons, the Cowboys' defensive ranked seventh, tied for fifth, and fifth in points allowed, while totaling 93 takeaways. So Zimmer thinks he's inherited a decent situation we're not trying to reinvent the wheel here I mean they've been pretty good I've been in some of the situations where things haven't happened but that happens in coaching it happens a lot oh is that the same wheel that gave up 48 points yeah is that that wheel what
Starting point is 00:19:02 kind of wheel is that is that a big wheel or a tri-cycle wheel yeah well mike mike is a great coach mike was a great coach very very good d coordinator i played for mike zimmer obviously in cincinnati i don't remember exactly what year it was but our defense was was it was very good then during that time and i think mike can make a difference to that defense um when they had collapses the way they collapsed against the packers uh collapses again made collapse against what the 49ers the 49ers the arizona cardinals and and all those teams obviously did one thing they all ran the ball they all ran the ball and exposed them very very badly obviously the packers did it through the through the air through the air
Starting point is 00:19:43 and and the run and i'm sure mike can get in there, change a few things up. To me, I think they still need to get a little beefy. I still think they need to get a little beefy up front. Because obviously, the key, what we've all saw people do, is run straight downhill at them. Yeah, for sure. Sideline and sideline ain't going to work. They're lighting the bridges, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:20:05 Yeah. They're lighting the bridges. So I like the hire. I like the hire with Mike. I love the hire. I think it's great. But let's not pretend that they'll say,
Starting point is 00:20:15 now, I just want to know the wheel. Are these wheels going to have tired legs? Because you remember you heard that when they said they had tired legs.
Starting point is 00:20:23 You heard that, Ocho. You said, hey, we need another guy or two. Are we them boys or do we need some more boys? They got it. They got it. I'm a firm believer. You see the difference between Kansas City and the Cowboys. When Kansas City needed a field goal, they went and got the field goal to tie the game and send it to overtime.
Starting point is 00:20:43 When they needed a touchdown to go get to win the game, they went and got the field goal to tie the game and send it to overtime. When they needed a touchdown to go get to win the game, they went and got it. When the Chiefs defense needed to keep their ass out of the end zone or keep them out of field goal range, they did that. What do the Cowboys do when they need the scores? When they need the points? When they need to get off the field? So, I don't care.
Starting point is 00:21:00 I see this 93 take away. But when you need a take away against Green Bay, what you get? I know Dak threw for the most touchdowns in the NFL this year, but when you needed a score, what did you get? So don't tell me how good you were because if you can't do what you need to do when you got to do it, it don't mean jack. You know what they need to do?
Starting point is 00:21:21 You know what the Cowboys, not the Cowboys, you know what the Chiefs had? What? The Chiefs had an owner that wasn't in front of the camera all season goddamn long, too. No, Clark Hunt is not in front of the owner. He like his dad. None of the Hunts was in front of the camera. Guess what they was hosting in February? The Lombardi. All right, now.
Starting point is 00:21:39 It ain't rocket science. Ocho, don't you know I got to get the credit? Because if I hire somebody, if I hire Bill Belichick, if I hire somebody, he going to get the credit. Jimmy Johnson, I promise you, I'm old enough. I don't know how, you're probably 15. But I remember nobody mentioned Jerry Jones' name when Jimmy was there.
Starting point is 00:22:02 It was Jimmy talking about how about them cowboys. And Jimmy was getting all the credit. And Jerry seed. He seed. Because he desired that. Attention to the drug. Yeah. And people crave it.
Starting point is 00:22:19 And a lot of times they'll say or do anything to get it. This man fired a two-time back-to-back champ. And I know what Jimmy said. He was burnt out. But he was so burnt out that he went and got another job at Miami a few years later. That's how burnt out Jimmy was. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:36 I mean, the proof is in the pudding. The proof is in the pudding. Everyone else that has won Lombardi, their owners weren't front and center. No. They didn't make it a circus they didn't make it about them they allowed the coaches the team
Starting point is 00:22:50 and everyone else to do their job he learned from Al Davis that's how Al was and so Al was always front and center and so that's how he runs his team Al didn't give a damn what his players did And so Al was always front and center. And so that's how he runs his team. Al didn't give a damn what his players did as long as they showed up on Sunday.
Starting point is 00:23:12 He meant that. He said in the first series or two, the quarterback must go down and he must go down hard. So if you look at like, oh, I know you don't remember the old Miller Lite commercials look at all the Raiders players that they had in there
Starting point is 00:23:28 because that's what they did I told y'all man I saw Greg Townsend sitting in 90 sitting outside on his helmet smoking a cigarette I didn't give a damn as long as you played that's how Jerry is Jerry's always you know
Starting point is 00:23:44 front and center Al did a lot of that too and that's what jerry learned jerry learned his mannerism and how he is as an owner from the late great al davis rest his soul maybe hey listen maybe that's why things aren't i i hate to say it there's one common denominator there's one common denominator that's in place. That's always been there. That refuses to change. Yeah. Wake up with football every morning and listen to my new podcast,

Starting point is 00:27:26 from afar and observe him he uh and how he coaches and how he schemes things up his process was huge and it just being around the younger players kingsbury was asked what he looks for in a quarterback and he jokes the chiefs quarterback Kingsbury was the offensive coordinator head coach at Texas Tech. Tech, yeah. So. I'm just curious. Why would you dodge those questions when you know you're probably going to find a way to get them? Yeah, you have to trade up.
Starting point is 00:27:59 But you don't want to. Here's the thing, Ocho. I don't want to show you my hand Because then I'll let somebody Build a hand that's better than mine But listen You already know you're going to get it Okay, okay You already know you need a quarterback
Starting point is 00:28:11 Oh, you want him You already know Sam Howard Is not your answer Guess what I'm number three I want him too I'll bid you Thanks for opening your mouth
Starting point is 00:28:18 You show me your hand Oh, I'll make you I'll make you pull I'll make you do a Ricky Williams I'll make you give up Your entire draft and first picks next year and the year after. We talk about a generational talent.
Starting point is 00:28:31 We talk about a quarterback coming in that has the ability to change your franchise. They don't pick first. They pick second. So that means somebody can bid them to move up to one, right? What did Brother Caleb Williams say about going to Chicago? It doesn't matter what he says. bid outbid them to move up to one right what would it would it brother what a brother caleb williams say about what it doesn't matter what he says it doesn't matter you don't think i'm saying
Starting point is 00:28:52 someone can offer more assets than washington to move up to one right that's what i'm saying so that's why you keep it hush hey you we playing poker and you like well i'm sitting on something over here you keep talking yeah i i just don't really see playing poker and not answering the questions knowing when it's common sense and you're understanding what you need the world because goddamn stevie wanted to see what you need yeah and getting and getting him he's very very i'm not calling him patrick mahomes in the chat i'm not saying he's patrick mahome but if you watch caleb williams play he's very patrick mahome ish yeah the way he throws his mannerisms the way he runs the way he
Starting point is 00:29:35 processes things the arm angles the mechanics everything is there the play make ability through the air and with his legs he runs when when he needs to. He extends plays when he needs to. He does things not every other quarterback can do. I hear a lot of people say Drake made Drake made this Drake make Drake made that. Let's stop. Let's pause a little bit. Let's go back and watch some film and understand how how good Caleb Williams is. I know USC didn't wasn't that well been played that well this year. They weren't they weren't good as Williams is. I know USC didn't play that well this year. They weren't good as a whole.
Starting point is 00:30:08 He is a game-changing generational talent at the quarterback position. They're going to get him. I'm not sure why Cliff is scared. I should have been in Cliff's shoes. You asked me the goddamn question about goddamn Caleb Williams. You goddamn right we want him.
Starting point is 00:30:24 You goddamn right we're going to get him. We going to do everything we can to make sure we secure him and get that young child. But you're not the only one that needs a quarterback. The last thing you want to do is to let – why you think people don't tell you who they potentially like or what they don't? They like we like them all. Because I don't want you to zoom up the board and take it. Oh, thanks for telling – oh, that's what you're going to and take it. Oh, thanks for telling me.
Starting point is 00:30:47 Oh, that's what you're going to do, Ocho? Thank you for telling me. Hey, Washington. Hey, Bears. What up, Washington? We'll give you four first-round picks. You see? Because now you're going to tell me because I know you in the running.
Starting point is 00:31:02 Everybody knows Washington. But guess what? For that pick, if he's what you said he is, you can't give up enough. What would a team right now give up to get Patrick Holmes? What would a team right now give up to get one of these top five quarterbacks? Mmm.
Starting point is 00:31:23 Because you're not the only one. You're not the only one're not the only one oh joe you're not the only one that need a drink of water there are a lot of people on the island and don't have fresh drinking water we get that we all they all thirsty exactly but look i'm just trying to figure out how Caleb, how Cliff Kingsbury keep failing up. He had Patrick Mahomes got fired. Couldn't do nothing. He'd have been a lot of places to get fired. Don't do nothing,
Starting point is 00:31:52 but he keep getting the, and he was the man got fired from a job and got what college coach gets fired from college and then get the head coach's job in the damn NFL. Well, that's why you learn your, you learn early in life. One of the most important things that you can have is relationships. Yes.
Starting point is 00:32:10 Never burn your bridges. And Kyle Cliff, Cliff Kingsbury, is an example of that. Never burn bridges. Always keep and build relationships with people because you never know when you're going to need them again. And he has been a great example of having relationships with the right people
Starting point is 00:32:29 because you're going to always have a job. DraftKings Sportsbook has Caleb Wade as the overwhelming favorite to go number one. He's minus 900. So the commanders are going to need to make a move. Guess what, Ocho? I know you want it. Now I'm going to drag the price up. You know what I'm going to do, Ocho? I'm going to do like they did during COVID. What was prices? Sky high.
Starting point is 00:32:55 Higher than giraffe hoo-ha. And you know a giraffe head is 18 foot high, so you know the hoo-ha way up there too. So that's what I'm going to do for you. Thank you, Ocho, for telling me that's what you want. Oh, you want it? I want you to say it. I'm glad you did, Ocho. Thank you for telling me you want it. It's going to cost you five first-round picks
Starting point is 00:33:11 now for running your mile. It's already set in stone. I told you. Stevie Wonder can see it. Rachel can see it. Five first-round picks, two second-round picks, three third- round picks. Keep talking. Whether you say it or not,
Starting point is 00:33:28 you know where I'm going. You know what we need. We need somebody to throw the ball to Jahan Dotson, brother Samuels. We need somebody to throw the ball
Starting point is 00:33:36 to Terry McLaurin, who is the best quarterback in the draft. I can tell you right now that I know what the Bears going to do. The Bears, I don't know, it might happen before draft day
Starting point is 00:33:46 but brother Justin Fields is going to Atlanta brother Justin Fields is going to Atlanta and they're going to give up whatever they need to well if the Bears trade Justin Fields they're going to sit on Caleb Williams why would I trade Justin Fields and then trade
Starting point is 00:34:02 Caleb Williams and let Washington or some other team get it? They have quarterbacks. Quarterbacks will be going from the Falcons to the Bears. Man, I don't want. Hold on. Do you actually think I want Ritter? You think I want Heineken?
Starting point is 00:34:18 Really? Yeah. I'd rather take a six-pack for Heineken. And you tell me good Ritters before I want any one of them guys. Listen, I'm just telling you how the play is going to go. And I ain't been wrong. I ain't been wrong all season.
Starting point is 00:34:33 I haven't been wrong all season about the games that I've guessed. I'm not a gambler. I've been right. I was right about the Super Bowl game. I told you it was going to happen. And now I'm telling you what's going to happen in the draft.
Starting point is 00:34:43 It's going to go exactly like that. I guarantee you. I'm to happen, and now I'm telling you it's going to happen in the draft. It's going to go exactly like that. I guarantee you. I'm not saying I got the script. I'm not saying I got the script. I'm just telling you what's going to happen. That's how it's going to play out. You think the Bears want Ritter or Heineke? They got to do something.
Starting point is 00:35:02 Yes. Okay, what if I trade Justin Fields to to atlanta and then i and then i keep caleb williams oh that's nasty work right there on that's nasty work as much as you say i already know what's gonna happen as much as you as much as you said you're making sense you're making chicago chicago will be out of their damn mind to trade that number one pick and trade Justin Fields. And I believe you out of your mind if you believe that's what's going to happen. Hey, listen, draft day. You never know.
Starting point is 00:35:35 I'm not saying I'm not male Kiefer. Oh, Joe, you actually think they go trade? OK, Justin Fields, who is a first round pick. We're going to trade him to Atlanta. We're also going to trade the right to the first-round pick to Washington or whomever. And in return, we're going to take Heineke or Desmond Ritter? Hey, them's some solid quarterbacks, man.
Starting point is 00:36:00 If they so solid, why doesn't Atlanta want him? I don't know. But I'm just telling you how it's going to play out. The NFL has always been crazy in the way it operates. Before anything else play out, I don't want no more bets with you until you Venmo me, cash out me, whatever they got you. Whatever they got, Venmo, Zale. Wait, time out, time out, time out.
Starting point is 00:36:25 What debt? I won time out. What debt? I won my bet. You ain't win no bet with me. I told you, first of all, your bet was Kadarius Tony wasn't going to drop a bet. Not only did he drop one, it got picked off. And I told you the same thing.
Starting point is 00:36:39 We bet $200 on your guy up in New York. Zach? Yeah, yeah, Zach. Now all of a sudden, you done saved by the bell. You York. Zach? Yeah, yeah, Zach. Now all of a sudden, you done saved by the bell. You talking about Zach? Yeah. We ain't talking about
Starting point is 00:36:49 saved by the bell, Zach, either. We talking about that Zach up at New York. Yeah, that's that boy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So until you pay me, I don't want to hear nothing about no bet.
Starting point is 00:37:01 Until you break brand. Zelle, Venmo, Cash App. I got Apple Pay. Yeah, you love Apple Pay. Have Doug to break me off. I forgot all about that. Western. As a matter of fact, I want my money.
Starting point is 00:37:15 Western Union. I want to go to. I want to go to Piggly Wiggly. I want to go to a round and go to that little partition. Wait, what's Western Union? What's that? You don't worry about it. Rail?
Starting point is 00:37:29 No. Rail. Baby. What's Western Union? It's the fastest way to ship money. Not Apple pay. No, I won't. Oh, show the pay.
Starting point is 00:37:44 Damn Apple. I won't. Oh, show the pay. Damn Apple. I want Ocho to pay. I ain't never heard no best union. What? Don't worry about it. That's some new shit? No, that's some old shit. That's what they used to do back in your day, huh? Yep, they still do it. That's how I want my money.
Starting point is 00:38:00 I want to go to Ralph's and stand up in that corner in the partition. Give them my ID and let them type it in. Oh, yeah. There you go, Mr. Shark. $400. And they hand you the money? Yeah, they hand me the money. That sounds like some old Western type shit. It is.
Starting point is 00:38:18 Man, technology. You got to evolve with the times, man. I want the technology. I want the money. Guess what? They done had a lot of stuff. They done had that crypto. They done had I want the money. Guess what? They had a lot of stuff. They had that crypto. They had NFT. But I guess what?
Starting point is 00:38:30 One of America's greatest. One of America's greatest exports. You don't want the greatest exports for America. U.S. currency. I know. That's why I'm going to pay you through Apple Pay. No, I want Apple Pay. I want Ocho to pay you through Apple Pay. No, y'all don't want no Apple Pay. I want Ocho to pay.
Starting point is 00:38:47 I want cold, hard cash. Wait, why would you make it more difficult on me when you can get your money the same way? That's the whole purpose. You see, I keep telling you, when I used to bet the guys in the locker room, Ocho, we bet $500, we'll bet $1,000. They never paid me in cash.
Starting point is 00:39:03 I wanted coins. I didn't want your money. I want your pride. I want you to go to the bank and get $10,000 worth of coins. And when they, because they're going to ask you, the cashier is going to ask you,
Starting point is 00:39:14 well, Mr. Johnson, why do you need $10,000 worth of coins? I lost the bet to Unk. That's what I want you to say. I don't like that. I want you to pay me $400, go to Western Union, and you put who the recipient is, Shannon
Starting point is 00:39:26 Unk Sharp. Well, I could put that in Apple Pay. I could put the memo. I don't want that in Apple Pay. I want somebody to know. Don't nobody know about me and you. I want that lady that's typing it in to see that. How you doing? I like nightcap.
Starting point is 00:39:43 Oh, yeah. What's Unk like? I saw your first date. How much are you sending, Mr. Johnson? 400? Yeah. That what I want.
Starting point is 00:39:57 I ain't got to pay no extra to ship, do I? No, yeah, you got to pay extra. So why would you make me... That makes no sense. God, at $400, you'll probably cost you got to pay extra. So why would you make me... That makes no sense. God. I want $400. Hey, Wesley, you'll probably cost you about $420. Nah, I can't do that.
Starting point is 00:40:10 I can't do that. I'm an Apple payee. I ain't got no phone. I ain't got no Apple phone. I got a Galaxy. A who? A Galaxy. I got a flip phone.
Starting point is 00:40:20 Motorola. Cash app. I cash app you. I ain't got no cash app. I ain't got no apps. You got it app i ain't got no apps you you got it i got espn and google that's the only apps i got i ain't got no i ain't got no cash apps i ain't got no uber or lyft i ain't got no uber eats i ain't got no i ain't got no door dash i ain't got none of that. Well, how the hell you get food? Take my black ass to the grocery store.
Starting point is 00:40:47 Or the lady or cat comes and prepares it. What the hell you mean, how? You got a chef? Yeah. Oh, this man here, man. I mean, you got a chef, man? Sure do. And I'm going to pay her for one of her sessions when she comes prepare
Starting point is 00:41:05 the meal with the money that you sent me. That's an unnecessary expense. What's unnecessary is that my money is drawing interest in your damn pocket. That's what's unnecessary. It is very necessary. See, I told you money out of sight calls a fight.
Starting point is 00:41:21 I should have made you put the money down right then and there. We weren't in person. We you put the money down right then and there. But we weren't in person. We was doing the show when we made the bet. Pay me. Like KGB say, pay the man. Pay him in money.
Starting point is 00:41:36 I'm going to cash up it right now. I don't know who it's going to because I ain't got no cash. All I got to do is type in your name and it's going to pop up. I bet you $500. I bet't got no cash. All I got to do is type in your name and it's going to pop up. I bet you. I bet you $500. I bet you another
Starting point is 00:41:47 $500. No, no, no, no, no, no. It ain't $500. It's $400. I ain't got no cash yet, Mocho. I don't have all them apps. I'm telling you. I don't have DoorDash. When I want, when I want some, when I want, when I get Uber, Shelly calls and she has to, she has
Starting point is 00:42:03 to like, okay, it's 11 o'clock here because she's on the East Coast. Shelly handles all that. Wait, you have somebody that's all the way on the East Coast handling something when you want something neat? When you can just download the app yourself? Yes. When you can download the app yourself? I'm in Indy. I'm in Indy right now.
Starting point is 00:42:18 Shelly had the Uber pick me up. I said, Uber for Miss Davis? Yep, that should be. Oh, man. You complicating life a little too much. I keep telling, listen. Shelly, listen. Ocho, I've been working in this business
Starting point is 00:42:33 for 20 plus years. Yes, sir. You call CBS. You call Fox. You call ESPN. You call anybody that had anything to do with business and ask them how many times they've talked directly to Shelly before going through Shelly.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Oh, they got to go through somebody else first? They go through Shelly. I don't have email. Shelly has email. Everything that's set up with my technology is through her email. God damn, you ain't got no email? Boy, you operate like the Flintstones. Shelly handles
Starting point is 00:43:04 that. Everything goes through Shelly. ESPN, CBS, Fox, anybody that had anything, they'll tell you. I'm going to try that. I'm going to try that. I'm going to do everything through real. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:43:19 All business got to go through her. I like that. I'm going to try that. I'm going to try that. CBS tried to set me up an email account. Right. They set up an email account
Starting point is 00:43:29 and then they would call me and say, we sent you an email. I said, why don't y'all just tell me what the hell is on the email? I mean, what the hell, Ocho?
Starting point is 00:43:37 What the hell? You sent me an email. They set me up an email account and everything, Ocho. Right. And then they call me, hey, Shannon,
Starting point is 00:43:44 check your email. Okay, just tell me what the email's saying. So eventually, that's what they did. ESPN, it goes through Shelly. I got to try that. That puts too much work on Shelly, though. That's Shelly's job. That's why she gets paid what she gets paid
Starting point is 00:44:05 that's why she has the life that she has she handles everything she styles me she was styling me before I hired Hollywood right and that's what I and she got upset about that I said okay I'll give you your job back she handles everything travel for me my mom my sister my kids she handles all that bills paid boom boom boom get everythingills paid, boom, boom, boom. Starting point is 00:44:47 Okay, I like that. Her only job is me. That's her job. Well, I'm going to start small then. I'm going to start small. I'm going to start small with... I want to try that Uber shit. I want to try that Uber shit.
Starting point is 00:44:59 Baby. I want Uber Eats. You got Uber Eats on your phone? Hell no. Listen. I'm not even going to be funny. You think it's bad. I'm going to tell you the apps I have on my phone.
Starting point is 00:45:15 The main apps I have on my phone. I have Cash App. I got Netflix. Obviously, Twitter, Instagram. Snapchat. I don't think I opened Snapchat since it came out. But my most important app on my phone is Fubo. My Fubo app to watch soccer.
Starting point is 00:45:35 I don't think maybe the chat, some people in the chat might know what the Fubo app is. Very, very important app that I use to watch soccer. Obviously, Apple Music, my Xfinity account, Fox Sports account, Etsy. I don't know if you know what Etsy is. Etsy, where I get some
Starting point is 00:45:56 of my jerseys from. I get most of my soccer jerseys on there, on Etsy. Oh. I got a wallet. I got a wallet. Hmm? I got a wallet. Wallet? Oh, wallet.

Starting point is 00:47:15 It's like, uh, yeah, you have any vacancy and I'd have to put like a thousand dollars, $1,500 down cash for incidental. Cause I have no credit. I didn't have no credit card. Damn. Yeah. I didn't have no credit card then. Damn.

Starting point is 00:47:55 Jordan, if I could do that, I wouldn't need you. Shelly, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. If my sister needs something, if my mom needs something, the kids, they don't call Shelly. Yeah, but you have to also be self-sufficient just in case Shelly wants a vacation. Or if Ash goes on vacation. You got to know how to do it yourself. We going on vacation at the same time. There will be no vacations.
Starting point is 00:48:21 Ash going on vacation. George going on vacation. When Shannon take vacation, they can take vacation. God damn. Yes. Absolutely. We all go on vacation at the same time.
Starting point is 00:48:36 Well, you got rough over there, boy. Yeah. Yeah, you run a tight ship over there, boy. I think they kind of like to pay. They pay really good over here. The pay okay, Jordan? Jordan, hey.

Starting point is 00:49:08 Yeah, shit. The pay good, shit. Especially after yesterday. What you did for Valentine's Day? Shit. Oh, sorry. I ain't do nothing. What was Valentine's Day?
