That link is pinned in the chat. We've got a very, very special person joining us. Right now, she's running unbelievable times. She's fit. She's extremely fast.
Starting point is 00:05:04 And I'm expecting big things of her at the World Championships in Tokyo later in about six weeks. Melissa, Jefferson, Wooden, will be joining us a bit later all the way from Poland. So we want to thank you, Melissa, for joining us. We look forward to talking to you very, very shortly. But first, also, we've got to get back to the, Dylan Brooks, Dylan Brooks. He completed eight of his first nine passes, threw a pick six, a bad decision, but was later credited with a fumble on a botched handoff.
Starting point is 00:05:34 After the game, he made some very, very interesting comments. He said, there are entertainers and they're competitors, and my job is to compete. He tried to clarify later at the pressors saying he meant the media are the entertainers and a competitor, and he's a competitor, and he wasn't taking a shot at the door, but the damage was done. everybody knows what he meant because you know why i don't let you take off you remember Oregon what
Starting point is 00:06:00 the head coach said when they played colorado yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah okay okay okay okay okay all right go ahead okay i don't i don't i don't want to do him like that i'm i'm going to give dylan gabriel a little grace a little understanding because i don't think a um a college kid coming in as a rookie in NFL would take that kind of shot at a teammate that he's competing with for a job I just don't see, I don't see it. I see it as, is him when he says entertainers in that aspect where he said it's the media. I'm not sure how he views the media as the entertainers, but the way the media stirs the pot and creates the ruckus and all he does is compete.
Starting point is 00:06:42 I see, I see it from that sense. I don't see him as, I'm not even sure if he's that type of person, that type of, type of individual to even have that kind of savvy to say something like that publicly as brash in that moment. So I'm going to give him a little grace. I think Dylan Gabriel actually played well. He played well. You know, what he did, those first few drives driving the team down the field.
Starting point is 00:07:06 He made some really good throws. He was poised in the pocket. He had commanded the offense. Obviously, the pick six, for one, he has to see that. There are two people. Somebody ran the wrong route. Two people in the same place never happens. They always have to be spacing on all concepts when it comes to run a route.
Starting point is 00:07:22 so as a quarterback you have to see that all right there are two players in the in the wrong place don't make a bad play even worse by even throwing the ball you should just chuck that out of bounds because you're already outside the pocket anyway new down so that I think he's going to be fine getting those reps in and it's all about making plays
Starting point is 00:07:40 at the quarterback position but how consistent can you bleed and so when some sometimes there's a chance you can make something out of nothing and sometimes you can't and I thought he played He played okay. You play really well. I disagree with you.
Starting point is 00:07:57 I think he was taking a shot. You think so? When have we ever thought about the media, those beat riders as entertainers? We've heard his coach, he was on the team when they say they're for a lay. You can't, you can't tie him and his coach together
Starting point is 00:08:10 as if they have the same mind as if they're won. You can't. Name the time you've ever heard someone say, there are entertainers and there are competitors, and I'm here to compete. Tell me the time. Okay, listen. Let's say he's taking a shot at Chador, right?
Starting point is 00:08:25 At what point has he been an entertainer? He's a football player as well. But we've heard people say that's what he's more interested in doing. What? I'm just curious. Okay, tell me what you're curious about. When you say he's more interested in entertaining, Shadour is a quarterback. No, no, I'm not saying he is.
Starting point is 00:08:43 I'm saying that's what people have said about Chador. Okay, okay. About entertaining, about the antics. Okay, I see if you're going. I see if you're going. plus we've heard this before and sometimes it seeps it seeps out when you've been around people and they perceive other people as that if you're not careful you'll repeat what you heard someone say about someone going with it okay okay okay he didn't have to say that he didn't
Starting point is 00:09:10 all he says look I'm here to compete uh whatever happens happened it doesn't matter from first team second third team or fourth team my job is to compete why did he have to throw the entertainer aspect in of it though that Everybody's entertainer. That's what football is. It's entertainment. Everybody is entertainers. Yeah, you're right.
Starting point is 00:09:30 You're right. It's an entertainment sport. He might have been taking a shot at me, shit. No, I know, but. He can't compete with you. He can't compete with you. I disagree. Chad, I don't know what you guys think,
Starting point is 00:09:45 but I think he was trying to take a solo shot because if he wasn't, why are you trying to clear it up? Why are you trying to clarify? Obviously, once you say something like that, it ruffles all the feathers. And then it comes back to you. Why are you ruffling feathers, Ocho? It ain't nothing.
Starting point is 00:09:59 You told you telling me in the chat is nothing. His choice of words, his choice of words, it ruffled feathers because that's probably not what he actually meant. I honestly think it was an honest mistake because he's not, let me stay with me real quick. Let me say something. Let me say something real quick. He is not media savvy with the mic in front of him like a Tom Brady. He's not media savvy like a quarterback. Absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:10:20 A quarterback at the university. No. No. He just not. Because if he was, he wouldn't have said what he said. There's a way you go about doing things and he hasn't learned it yet. He's not savvy like that yet. Sometimes you get caught up in the moment. You play it well. It's the middle of the game. Ocho, you got to realize now you're right there in that moment. Sometimes when emotion is high, logic is low. And you feeling good is, hey, they're entertainers and I'm a competitor and I'm here to compete. Oh, he's like, oh, if he, if it meant nothing by that, nobody would, nobody would have, nobody would have said anything about it. Nobody would not even
Starting point is 00:11:02 thought, would not even bat it or not. But they took it. Most people took it. I believe the way he intended it. Right. That he's not, he's not fancy. He's not entertaining. He's a competitor. I don't know what he thinks you do is there to do. I believe two things. They're not mutual exclusive. Floyd Mayweather was an entertainer, but he was a competitor. Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, they're entertainers,
Starting point is 00:11:29 but they're competitors. Steph Curry, all that dancing and turning around, he's shooting shot, and he only looks at it before it goes in. That's entertainment, but he's a damn fierce competitor. Yes. So to try to make those two things mutual exclusive is just not true. I believe
Starting point is 00:11:45 you can do both of them, but I believe he took it. Me, I couldn't be wrong. And if I'm wrong, I apologize. But I believe he took a sort of shot at your door. I do. And honestly, you want me to tell the truth? And I mean the respect to Dillon Gabriel. I don't even think he has the balls to be able to say something like that out the blue.
Starting point is 00:12:03 That's how I know. I mean, he doesn't carry himself like that, especially coming out of college. If he was that type of player, if he showed that kind of, like, if it was, think about this. Think about Johnny Mansell in college, right? Think about Mayfield in college, right? Now, if it was one of them that said something like that, like that, I'd be like, yeah, he's definitely taking a shot at your door. But he's never shown any signs of being as Brad.
Starting point is 00:12:27 When have you ever been in competition? When has he ever been in competition? He wasn't going to beat Justin Herbert out, so he wasn't in competition. When was the last time Dylan Gabriel was in a quarterback competition? Yeah, go ahead and sip your tea, coffee, whatever that is. Let's a latte. Yeah, go ahead and sip that. So now, now back to our originally scheduled program.
Starting point is 00:12:49 programming. When was the last time Dylan Gabriel was in a quarterback competition? I don't even exactly. Exactly. Because think about it. How many yards has he passed for? Do you know how long you got to be in college to pass for the amount of yards that he passed for?
Starting point is 00:13:06 Justin Herbert's been in the league. How long? Because didn't he take off with Justin Herbert? In 2020. So Dylan Gabriel has been in the league, he's been the starting quarterback since what, 21? No, he came from Oklahoma. Didn't Gabriel come from Oklahoma? He transferred from Oklahoma.
Starting point is 00:13:25 So he's been, yeah, he was in that. If he transferred from Oklahoma, are you telling me he ran from competition? No, he ran to the money. Oh, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. One, two? Oh, so he started at UCF. Oh, he started at UCF for three years. He was two years of Oklahoma, and then he spent one year.
Starting point is 00:13:49 year at, uh, at, uh, at Oregon. Ah, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. Okay. That's okay, that was Bo Nix. I apologize. That was Bo Nix that was there when the coach, remember when they played, uh, CU Ocho, and the quarter, and he's, what did you say, Instagram, someone to try to get followers, they try to get clicks and followers, and we're trying to win football games. Oh, that's right. That was the Oregon coach. I remember that. I remember that. That was the Oregon coach, but Dylan, I apologize, that wasn't Dylan Gabriel. That was Bo Nix, that was his quarterback at the time when he said that.
Starting point is 00:14:21 See, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. But you got to, but again, for me, when was the last time Dylan, Dylan Gabriel was in a quarterback competition? He was three years that, he was three years at UCF. He was two years at Oklahoma and one year at, uh, what you're so six years, so in six years of college football, yeah, three year the UCF, two years of Oklahoma, one year at, I don't have to got the only goddamn time. Man, man, them guys be getting seven and eight years, Ocho.
Starting point is 00:14:51 You see the guy 32, well, the COVID year. Okay, okay. So he gave everybody an extra year if you wanted it. But, um, listen, it's obviously, what the chat, what the chat said? The chat, well, who did the chat believe he took a shot? I'm looking at the chat. I ain't even know, I ain't open my phone. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:15:07 I'm curious to see what the chat would say, what the chat would think. They are saying, Guys, it's AZ Fud. You may know me as a gold medalist. You may know me as an NCAA national champion and recent most outstanding player. You may even know me as a People's Princess. But now, you're also going to know me as your favorite host. Starting point is 00:17:23 I'm Jake Khofer, and this is Back 40, a limited series show on Wire to Hunt, part of Meat Eaters podcast network. Each episode, I'll be asking eight wide-tail hunting pros, a focused, thought-provoking question about hunting and land management. How do I hunt the best part of the farm with less than ideal access? Should you, that's what the real question is. Stand without good access is not a good stand. Listen to Back 40 on iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:17:54 Check out Behind the Flow, a podcast documentary series following the launch of San Diego Football Club. We go behind the scenes and explore the stories of those involved. San Diego coming to MLS is going to be a game changer because this region has been hungry for a men's professional soccer team. We need veteran players and we need young players. Like you're building a team from scratch. And so the succession plan of long-term success needs to be defined. We need to embrace this community. When I was 13, my uncle took me to a qualifier.
Starting point is 00:18:28 And we watched Ottawa against Chile, pouring rain, just watching the fans jumping up and down. I think that was definitely a watershed moment for me. Not only was that going to be my game, but it was going to be my life. Listen to San Diego FC behind the flow. Now on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. The chat is saying,
Starting point is 00:18:59 I believe he'd throwing shade. I thought football was a brotherhood. I'd never seen him do that. Don't need it. He lost his job. Oh, he lost his job at OU. He got hurt of you. Oh, shoot.
Starting point is 00:19:12 Well, it looks like a mix. It's a mix on how everybody feel. Go ahead. You want something? Go ahead. We put the, we placing the poll up. I just think the thing here was, look, and I think the thing is because, Ocho, what it is, normally we don't get this.
Starting point is 00:19:28 We don't normally be interviewing, especially if you're playing during the course of the game. Normally they get you, they get you, you know, in the preseason game, if you're not playing, they'll get you, hey, can we get a few words? Yeah, it's excited, you know, got some of the root, knock some of the dust. to rust off. And now it's time for the younger guys and other guys to get an opportunity to know what they can do.
Starting point is 00:19:50 I'm sure the coaches are excited about that. Hopefully everybody came out, injury free. We'll see after the game, so forth and so on. But hell, everybody out there to compete. I mean, you do realize, like, in pro sports, it's all about, hey, it's all about competition. I think, I think, whether you competing in your locker room
Starting point is 00:20:10 or you competing against the other locker room, but you're always in competition. Hey, listen, every, every week. every week, yes, every day. You know, I think he understands it. That's why I said, I'm giving him grace. And I think you're giving him too much credit. You're giving him too much credit.
Starting point is 00:20:27 For those of the people that think he was actually taking a shot at Shadour, I think we'd give him too much credit to think he would come out and do something like that publicly or to even slip up or even, you know, I just don't think that's him. Oh, 88% said it was a shot, 12% said it was not. Maybe y'all see it different. maybe y'all see it different because i wouldn't paid it like that honestly you know i mean i mean if you're going to say something you know if if there if there's no address on it you don't
Starting point is 00:20:57 have no destination if there's no address on it it doesn't have a destination so i'm not i'm not doing no riddles they're saying you know dr susse or cat in the hat if you really how about this here you think said exactly what Dylan Gabriel said he's more into entertainment and doing all this and all those antics than competing okay listen I'm picking up what you're putting down now now you now you make now you make it a little sense to me I'm putting down I I don't like that because I don't like that because that's a part of the game it's always been a part of the game it's never been a part of game at that specific position, though.
Starting point is 00:21:49 Correct. At that position is frowned upon. Always. Always, because when you pick that position and you pay them the kind of money you pay them, not only you're representing the shield, you represent the team and the organization as well. You are the face of a franchise. Decade more. Yes.
Starting point is 00:22:08 So I understand. Right. Okay, I'm with you now. I'm with you. I'm with you. You look at a dad. He was the ultimate entertainer, but was one of the most, one of the fiercest competitors.
Starting point is 00:22:23 He believed that, you know what, prime time, that's what you paid to see. You paid me to see all the antics that, you know, hey, get it up. You know, he dancing before they punt him or kick the ball to him. He got the ball up behind. He got his hand behind his head. I got to entertain y'all. It ain't, it ain't good enough for me to just get a pick.
Starting point is 00:22:44 It ain't good enough for just, no, no, no, no, no. no no no no no no that's not enough you can get anybody can do that i want to be outgoing i want to be raggedocious thank you i want you to know who and what i am that sounds for me that that sound familiar don't it yeah uh the stats week one uh should do it was 14 to 23 157 two touchdowns dylan gabriel was 13 of 18 144 uh with uh total yards totally yards, okay, 157 total yards, 144 for Gabriel. Shadour had two touchdowns,
Starting point is 00:23:21 no turnovers, and Dylan Gabriel had no touchdowns and two turnovers. He had a pig and a fumble. Look, I thought he played, like you said, I thought he played a good game with the exception of the turnover, that bad interception.
Starting point is 00:23:37 But do you know the thing I noticed? The first thing I said, I see, damn he tiny. He's small. He's small. You think he bought it? I'm like, oh, my God. Baker height? No, hell not. He wished you, man,
Starting point is 00:23:51 bad, huh? They listed him at 511. 5-10 of the quota. Bryce Young is about the same. So obviously, the fansky, and the way that they would run a completely different offense
Starting point is 00:24:04 if they had Dylan Gabriel starting, as opposed to Chador. Yeah, you got to roll him out because he's small. You need to put him outside so he can see he can see clean pocket. You got to roll the pocket. You got to roll the pocket. or boom, have him in the goddamn gun all the time,
Starting point is 00:24:19 one or the other. But if Baker Mayfield could be successful doing it, obviously a weaponry around him. I mean, too, he should be able to succeed as well. Yeah, a Baker, man, I don't think people give Baker enough credit. Baker is a really good throw in the football.
Starting point is 00:24:38 You don't win the Hizman trophy like he did, get that team to the college football playoff. and now that he's in a system and now he's with coaches that allows him to be Baker he's been to Pro Bowls. Baker is a better throw of the football than I think we give him credit for
Starting point is 00:24:57 or we gave him credit for especially now that he's in a system and he's with coaches that believe in him and will allow him to be himself. We'll see. Look, Dylan Gabriel did throw for a ton of yards. I will not take that away from over 16,000 yards. I mean, hell, he played six years, so he, he, I mean, damn, I'm like you, Ocho, like,
Starting point is 00:25:19 damn, six years. I ain't, I know. So how is he? If he played six years, he got to be like 24 already. I didn't know that was possible. No, oh, yeah, no, they got, he's 24, Ocho. I was, I was 21. I turned 22 after I got drafted.
Starting point is 00:25:38 So he already, I mean, so, hell, he, Bryce Young age. He might be older than Bryce. Yeah, he might, he's Bryce Young age. He's got to be Bryce Young's age. Damn. Hey, that's, that's funny. That's funny. Like, I'm, I'm, I'm baffled.
Starting point is 00:25:59 I'm appalled. You baffled, hold on. Let me, let me see what you baffled. Are you baffled that he played six years and he's 24? Or you baffle that the chat believes along with, that I believe that he was taking, he was throwing shade, or taking a shot, it should do it.
Starting point is 00:26:14 And she was both. Or all of the above or some of the above? Because honestly, I think y'all, y'all, y'all giving them a motherfucker. Dog it. Y'all giving somebody too much credit. You give him too much credit. Too much credit. To say I'm going to be brash enough to say he and talk about someone that is on my team
Starting point is 00:26:31 and take a shot and not in it. And then, no, that's giving him too much credit as if he's a mastermind and media savvy and knowing how to nap. That's the point. He didn't think about it. He didn't think clearly enough. of sometimes we have to be careful of what we say around others because guess what we get on here or we get on TV and then something that we're talking about in the barbershop or we're talking about it'll come out because sometimes you forget where you are yeah yeah I think listen young young bull played he played he played well outside of the interception for six and the fumble in which it wasn't his fault on the fumble because the guy I'm looking at the replay I'm trying to figure why the running back ain't got a goddamn man open your arm what is you doing
Starting point is 00:27:17 and he looking he's looking straight ahead instead of we know like come on man tighten up man but outside of that listen hey who they play next week who do browns play it's the last game you ain't got to tell me twice I heard I heard you before you even and they normally play on they're probably going to play on Thursday right they play Saturday they play Saturday Play Saturday against the ramps. Listen. All hands on deck. All hands on deck.
Starting point is 00:27:50 I'm not sure what they're going to do. I'm not sure what they're going to do. I'm excited. I'm excited because I love a healthy competition. I love a healthy competition. I don't believe they're keeping all these quarterbacks. I don't know, Joe. Well, hey, listen, they're, I mean,
Starting point is 00:28:13 The Saints, never mind. I ain't going to do that. I ain't going to be rude. I'm not going to be ruled. I'm not going to be rude. Do you believe they're going to keep all these quarterbacks? Honestly, I'm going to be honest with you. You played the game a very long time.
Starting point is 00:28:28 I played the game a very long time. I can't remember a scenario where there were four quarterbacks on the team. I can remember every scenario there was always three. Always three. So if there was an odd man out to me, thinking it would be yes if there was going to be one and that's simply maybe because of the injury right now and not being able to showcase not being able to showcase much you know and there's no disrespect to Kenny you know you had an opportunity at Pittsburgh obviously
Starting point is 00:29:03 in Philly there's no you're going to start in front of Jamie Hertz but I mean why would they why would they not keep yes baby yeah I agree. I think to the food comes for your food, your chicken nuggets, okay? Four quarterbacks. New England kept four quarterbacks in 2000, but it's a different time now. Coach Belichick said he was worried that if he released Tom, somebody was signing. Yes, and that's exactly what would have happened.
Starting point is 00:29:32 And you got to say, and you would have to sign him to the active, they would sign him to the active roster. So he didn't want to run that risk. So they felt they, they stash four quarterbacks. But I agree with you in this situation, the way it's currently constructed, I don't see a scenario where you keep four active quarterbacks. Now, you might have two quarterbacks and one of the practice squad guy. And then, you know, for the sake of argument, somebody get Nick, you might bring him up.
Starting point is 00:30:02 You might elevate him. But to have four active quarterbacks. And that means you're going to probably have to go without. a wide receiver or swing offensive lineman or rotational defensive lineman or a cornerback and one of those and those guys are guys that can play special teams those are the guys that can play the punt punt return kick kick return your quarterback's not doing that and so basically if you keep that many positions he can only he's only play in one position where the other guys that i mentioned other positions can play two positions so can
Starting point is 00:30:41 Normally, you're a guy that can play the guard, he can play to tackle, if need be. He can play the D tackle. He can play the D-N, but he could also be on field goal, field goal block. Things with that nature. We talk about we don't know who they're going to take. Hell, let's play goddamn devil's advocate then. Let's play devil's advocate. Hasn him already said what he got to say.
Starting point is 00:31:02 Andrew Barry knows that he's a genius in being able to get Shador in the fifth round. You, Safansky, who you won't. whoever haslam won't damn you for real yeah wait as a as a as a coach as a head coach
Starting point is 00:31:31 you're going to choose just because of whatever personal vendetta has may have to say some of the things he said you're going to put your job in a line for somebody you know isn't better than the person that he doesn't want if that man said let me ask your question when you got your did you ever get did you ever get a physical copy of your check
Starting point is 00:31:49 or was your money always direct deposit but I got the I went upstairs and always got the physical I tell you what when you went to OTAs and you got those with those deposit because last I checked when I got my check it always said the Denver Broncos football club and and that thing to the left it said Pat D. Bowman okay
Starting point is 00:32:08 that thing said the Cleveland Browns Football Club. Jimmy, probably Jimmy and Dee Haslam. Now, you want to ask me that again? Which one do I want? I got you. I got you. You know what?
Starting point is 00:32:25 Okay. The fact that I sat here and forgot, the person that said what he said in the position of power that they were in, my bad. You're right. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:39 But again, maybe that's the problem. you know can i can ask you a question who's my lack of knowledge and knowing mr has him like that how long has he been he brought it from uh the learner i think he brought it from uh um he's been there probably what 15 years ash
Starting point is 00:32:56 i think he's on the browns for about 15 years he's only for a minute so he's been there 15 years at least 15 years later they're still looking for a what cuby but we're supposed to take it Okay, don't worry about it. You're right.
Starting point is 00:33:13 13 years. So he's been there since 2012. From the learner family, right? Are we supposed to take his work? Okay. Well, I'll tell you, I mean, in the Lemony Snicket series, a series of unfortunate events happened.
Starting point is 00:33:31 You know, they thought they had their quarterback. I went to the movie with Jim Carrey. My daughter, my daughter, she's read it. She read the whole series. That's what she got for Christmas for one year. They thought they had their quarterback, but it was a series of unfortunate events that, you know, shoulder, Achilles, and things of that nature.
Starting point is 00:33:56 But it's not easy. It's not easy finding a quarterback. Actually, it might be the hardest thing to do in professional sports. It is. I think, you know what? Can I say something real quick? Go ahead. I'm going to give you the three hardest things in life to do.
Starting point is 00:34:13 Hey, chat, y'all write this down too, chat. I'm going to give y'all two seconds to grab a pen. The three hardest things in life to do. Number one, is the NFL team finding a quarterback that can be a franchise quarterback for 10 years or more? Okay, that's one. Number two, trying to hit a base. baseball coming at you 95 miles an hour on a consistent basis that's that's two three okay try
Starting point is 00:34:52 keeping a woman happy long term outside outside of the honeymoon phase I do you go through that last one them not three hardest things are doing life now you got some you got some some couples you know they'd be 15 oh we've been doing this 15 17 years yeah Yeah, pretending. You ain't fooling me. You smile by the picture. Behind closed doors, your organ, I can't stand you. Don't get me started.
Starting point is 00:35:19 Listen, I sat next to a married couple today. They've been married 32 years. So I was nosy. I don't mean... You had to ask them, how have y'all been together that long? I had to be nosy. I say, well, out of the 32 years you've been married, how many of those years have y'all been happy?
Starting point is 00:35:39 You want to know how many years of those how many those years she's been happy or they've been happy together? How many? The first three. I don't think any couple can say they've been happy. They're days. If a couple tell you they've been married 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, that they've been happy all the year? No, there are days. Now, there are more days that I'm happy than I'm sad or disappointed.
Starting point is 00:36:05 Yeah, yeah, yeah. See, they got in depth. I just don't have that kind of time, but I don't want to switch topics. to be on football. I was just using that analogy and just bringing in context to it. And a couple first. And he said the husband said to me
Starting point is 00:36:18 and the wife, they were in agreeance and I was enjoying it. It was like I was their therapist. And I said, they said the honeymoon phase lasted for three years in the marriage. And after that, we have just been, I forgot the word she used.
Starting point is 00:36:34 She used the word when you just, gosh, I forgot what she used. working cohabit. That's the word. We're just cohabitating. And I don't want to start over and I refuse to deal with anyone else. So we, and it's lasted 32 years. I'm like, well, God, well, God damn, well, congratulations to y'all. But could I tell you what I got from that? What? I don't care. Because I'm getting married anyway. I think the thing is, Ocho, and you see this a lot, I mean, you see a lot of couples do this. the kids get out the kids get out of high school the kids graduate college what they do they split they go to
Starting point is 00:37:10 oh there's because sometimes because sometimes they look at it like well we really got anything else to be together for now the kids grown hey you think people stay together you think people stay together when they're not sure absolutely absolutely yes yes yeah what hey you're not talking not our people you talk about the other side so you ain't got yeah sometimes our people stay together but I'm saying yes stay together for kids. Hey. Sometimes, sometimes it's easier to stay together because, you know, you can pull your money together.
Starting point is 00:37:44 It's going to be much harder apart. You see this a lot in, in the professional settings. What, what women will tolerate in a professional setting when the money. Oh, yeah, yeah. Hey, listen, come on. the longer the money that no no wait wait hey baby you doing hold on i unplug it up for you hold on she don't unplug my turn my lights off the longer the longer the money the longer the leash it's always been that way and if and if and if you depending on how serious it is the
Starting point is 00:38:21 longer the longer you're with you and if you happen to marry him and then they're no no you're good don't you're crying for oh my goodness no you're good you're good you good I'm going to plug it up. The long as you're with them, and they're ready to leave. As long as they're taking something with them, they're taking something with them. They're not leaving without it, not without that lifestyle. Right. Yeah, I mean, you know, Haggle.
Starting point is 00:38:43 The game is the game. It's always been the game. You've got to learn how to play it, man. That's all. Come on. You want to charge them? So, Chedore, week one, 14 to 23. He had 157 total yards, two touchdowns, zero interceptions.
Starting point is 00:38:58 Dillon Gabriel, week two, 13 of 18, 144 total yards, zero for two, zero touchdowns, two turn over pick six and a fumble that was credited to him. So, and after the game, Stefansky, like, he refused to like, you know, I'm not doing this evaluation. Well, who played this or who did better than that? We'll go back and we'll look at the film
Starting point is 00:39:20 and we'll do our proper evaluation. And we'll, you know, it'll be interesting to see, chat, when they hit the field on Monday or Tuesday, when they back at a regular practice, what is the what is the sequence one two
Starting point is 00:39:37 three four what's the slot where are they slotted where the quarterback slotted maybe that tells us something maybe that tells us nothing we don't know
Starting point is 00:39:47 who starts week three how much playing time do they get does he get in week three it's going to be it's going to be very very very interesting to see their eval, their evaluation from week one to week two.
Starting point is 00:40:13 I'm sure there are some things both guys did extremely really well, some things they would like to have back. I'm sure the coaches have, you know, give them a rundown of what they would like to have seen them do, what they'll like to see them do better. But overall, I think both guys played extremely well and should feel proud of the performance. excited. I'm excited. I'm excited to see what happens. I wouldn't want to be. I wouldn't want to be Brown's personnel. I wouldn't want to be Safansky. Because, listen, depending on who they pick and who they choose, the backlash that they're going to get, it's going to be crazy. It's going to crazy. I'm not, I'm not sure Sirfansky has any control over the field final three.
Starting point is 00:40:51 Well, honestly, if he did, how is the head coach not going to have control over who he's going to put out there on the field? And he's the one got to coach him. easy you think you think Ryan Schottonheimer had control a 503 in Dallas
Starting point is 00:41:06 you think that's a different circus that's a different circus are we trying to win are we trying to win is a difference you have to like come in with
Starting point is 00:41:19 you have to be Andy Reed to get that Mike Tomlin you got to put some year unless you're like highly soft
Starting point is 00:41:28 after. Now, yeah, uh, Sean McVeigh, Kyle Shanahan. You're naming all the coaches. They're allowed to pick the players they want because they're successful. Do you know why they're successful? Because of the players that they have. They're successful because ownership let them
Starting point is 00:41:52 stay out of their business. I got you. I got. Go Google. That's the food. That's your food. Jim Harbaugh. Right. Oh, yeah. He's another one.
Starting point is 00:42:03 They're consistent winners, no matter where they're. And he came so sought after. So you have to give up something besides money in order to tice him to leave the University of Michigan. Uh, Ben Johnson came highly touted. He was officer coordinator for the lions, the band. You got to give him something to get him to leave besides money. And so it's going to be very, very interesting to see how this thing shapes up for the Cleveland Browns. But I don't believe, chat, I don't believe there's no way all four of these quarterbacks are on the roster, the active roster opening day.
Starting point is 00:42:53 We could find out a little bit more because there might be a situation where Kenny Pickett doesn't even take snap in the regular season and it's going to be interesting that's all I can say because I like I said it had been interesting to see if all these quarterbacks were healthy excuse me if Shador starts if Pickett was healthy we'll picket have started we don't know and we won't ever know because guess what the game's over with and who started is who started but I don't believe opening day all four of these quarterbacks are on the active roster.

How do I hunt the best part of the farm with less than ideal access?
Starting point is 00:45:55 Should you? that's what the real question is. Stand without good access is not a good stand. Listen to Back 40 on IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Check out Behind the Flow, a podcast documentary series following the launch of San Diego Football Club. We go behind the scenes and explore the stories of those involved.
Starting point is 00:46:20 San Diego coming to MLS is going to be a game changer because this region has been hungry. for a men's professional soccer team. We need veteran players and we need young players. Like you're building a team from scratch. And so the succession plan of long-term success needs to be defined. We need to embrace this community.
Starting point is 00:46:38 When I was 13, my uncle took me to a qualifier and we watched Ottawa against Chile, pouring rain, just watching the fans jumping up and down. I think that was definitely a watershed moment for me. Not only was that going to be my game, but it was going to be my life. Listen to San Diego FC behind the flow. Now on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:47:07 Ocho, Anthony Richardson Sr. saw his most extensive preseason action yet after sustaining a dislocated finger in week one against the Ravens, Richardson completed six of 11 passes for 73 yards, but his numbers were undermined by penalties. He started five or six for 64 yards, leading a 90-yard touchdown drive with Chris passes. Offensive penalty derailed the next two possessions, including negating a 38-yard completion. Daniel Jones started the game and led a field go drive, completing 7 of 11, 401 yards. Colts head coach, Shane Steichen, strongly suggested after the game that a decision is imminent in his team's month-long quarterback battle. I've seen obviously three weeks of it, so I like to have a decision here shortly. I'm very close.
Starting point is 00:47:56 I'll say that. I'm very, very close. Ocho, who's week one starter? I mean, honestly, the way it's looking, you know, it's Daniel Jones. It's Daniel Jones. I think even if Anthony Richardson finger hadn't gotten hurt, I think that's what they want to go with all along anyway. I think there have been issues there with him the first two years.
Starting point is 00:48:20 Obviously, they haven't seen the improvement necessary, especially with year three, always being. the make or break year. And I'm assuming so, especially with the way that the coach is talking. I don't like it. Then you signed Daniel Jones, one year, $14 million that much, one year. They definitely were going in the other direction in regards to what Anthony and Richard would have done in camp or what he would have done in the game.
Starting point is 00:48:47 Like how much better are you going to be from the first two years coming into the third? there's only so much there's only so much work i mean it's not going to be a miracle you you look a certain way year one you look a certain way year two and then all of a sudden year three you're going come back and just be oh my goodness yeah but that's what they were expected they were expected they were expecting uh they were expecting uh a monumental jump because ohcho you in your third year in the system okay understandable understandable And he got hit in the face with a blitz that he should have got hit in the place with as a rookie. Not as a third year event.
Starting point is 00:49:29 Right. And so, look, like I said, Ocho, we're not there. Chad, if I was there, if I was there and observe and practice, I'd be able to tell you who I think should be the starting quarterback. But unfortunately, all the thing I can do is based on what we've seen thus far. And look, and I don't think it's like, it's a situation where like, oh, this is, oh, this is, in stone. I don't think it's one of those situations. But I think it's a situation where
Starting point is 00:50:00 you know, like you said, at some point in time, you're going to have to give one of these guys the majority of the refs, Ocho. You can't keep 50-50. You already know what they're going. You know the game they planned. You knew the game they were playing when they bought Daniel Jones in for that amount of money.
Starting point is 00:50:17 For that amount of money on the one-year deal. I already knew the game they were planned. What, baby? Papa. What, Papa? Okay, I'm gonna call Papa for you. So you got Daniel Jones. It's interesting.
Starting point is 00:50:37 Chat, y'all think it's going to be Daniel Jones? Y'all think it's going to be Anthony Richardson Senior. It's not like either one of the guys just blowing you away. I mean... Were you... You upstairs? yeah yeah she's uh she's all right i'm just come come to 14 17 14 17 14 17 all right
Starting point is 00:51:07 all right papa coming to get you because you're not letting daddy work daddy working You want to woo? She said, I don't get to see Daddy that much they begin with, so I don't care about you working. Nah, that's what I think about you working. Who did, uh, oh, here it is. How about coming, okay?
Starting point is 00:51:38 They played the, they played the, uh, they played the, uh, they played the, uh, Packers today. Hey, you, you, were you, were you able to watch all the games? No. Yeah. Hey, they need, they need to, they need to, they need to put the games on one channel. Well, first of all, first of all, you know it's the preseason.
Starting point is 00:51:54 So basically you're going to get only the only you'll be able to watch the local game. So. But I guess, you know, they got it, they're going to have it fixed where you'll be able to, once you play, pay all that money. It's going to cost you by $2,000 to watch all the games. That much?
Starting point is 00:52:15 And you know, yeah, you got to get every streaming service. My, everything is not. everything is on one service now right or am i tripping i thought that was the whole point you trippy you trippy you trippy oh man i'm excited boy so daniel jones started the game huh or they or or at the Richardson started the game. I think Daniel Jones did start. Hey, one was 7 of 11 for 100, 101 yards. Andrews Richardson was 6 of 11 for 73 yards.
Starting point is 00:53:01 I think that's Riley Leonard, 7 or 12 for 64 yards. Dave Jones started. He started, okay, he started, game two, Anthony Richardson started game one. Okay. So they went back and forward to make sure each person got the opportunity. And, and
Starting point is 00:53:24 he says, yeah, I think he says, I've seen obviously three weeks of it. So I like to have a decision here shortly and I'm very close. I'll say that. I'm very close. I think he's seen enough. Damn.
Starting point is 00:53:40 I think he's, I think he has his mind made up. that who he wants to start, I'm leaning towards you. Why bring a guy in to make $14 million into having to be the backup? Totally. Totally.
Starting point is 00:53:56 I mean, it's not like Daniel Jones had his pick of choices where he goes, I mean, not for that kind of money. Absolutely not. But that lets you know how in dire need of a quarterback that the Colts were. You saw what you saw. you saw what you saw in New York and say, you know what, we're going to bring you in to compete
Starting point is 00:54:17 because we don't think our quarterback going into year three has figured it out just yet. But hell, you didn't figure it out when you were being in New York, but we think you're going to come here and all of a sudden something's supposed to change. So two wrongs don't make it right. Two-folds. I think they really want, because if they bring a quarterback in for a million,
Starting point is 00:54:40 let's just say for the sake of argument, what you know, they bring a backup. up in and they're going to pay him $4 million. You're not going to take that serious. Man, I ain't going on no bench for no guy making $14 for $4 million. You bring a guy in making $14. Now you know they're serious. He's sitting on a bench.
Starting point is 00:54:55 I can tell you that. 14 is not sitting on a little bench. They talk about quarterback controversy. They talk about quarterback battle. There is no quarterback battle if the quarterback coming from another team makes that kind of money on a one-year deal. He probably makes it more. than Anthony Richardson this year.
Starting point is 00:55:13 What's Anthony Richardson-based salary this year? It's only this third year. Unc, it's not that much. Yeah, because he got a book. His contract is fully guaranteed, but he got probably the most of his money of the signing bonus. So he probably got $25 million in the signing bonus, oh, Joe. So Anthony Richards is probably what, make it, what, $8 million this year? Right.
Starting point is 00:55:39 Four million? you make it 3.8 you know what so one guy making 3.8 million the other guy making 14 million do you think they're going to put the guy that's making 14 million on the bit you know what you know what i don't like though hold is his money guaranteed did they guarantee his money no Jones you know you know that the rich isn't got 34 million guaranteed here his money guaranteed he'll get he got 22 million aside so he going to get that final 12 I'm mad because Anthony Richardson is supposed to be like Josh Allen. Let me let me get this out.
Starting point is 00:56:22 Go ahead. Anthony Richardson is supposed to be like Josh Allen. Anthony Richardson is supposed to be like our new version of Cam Newton. Like that's the kind of potential in like I don't know at what point, what went wrong or what's happened. and if he's not focused, if he's not locked in. After this year, after this year, Anthony Richardson is supposed to be going to the table for one of those $250, $300 million deals.
Starting point is 00:56:52 Yes, I agree. That is what I saw in him coming out of Florida. Based on the eye testing what I'm looking at, all the intangibles, does everything right, except in the mistake. I see that. I was shocked. I was shocked that he moved up the draft boards.
Starting point is 00:57:13 I like, but see, Ocho, go back and watch the tape. Right. You see, you see what happened? Now, you see how some people watch tape and then somebody go by the combine. If you look at his, if you didn't know anything about it and all you did was watch the combine, you'll understand. Now go back and watch his tape at Florida.
Starting point is 00:57:33 Hey, well, yeah, you did tell me that. You did tell me that. Go back and watch his tape. They tell me that. But if every, but those measurables was so hard to pass up, though, Ocho, 6-4, 245, running 4-4, can throw the ball 80 yards. Which is what I said.
Starting point is 00:58:00 With the measurable, you take the measurables, right? the reason that they went up to go grabbing the draft. And if the measurables pulled up with the play on the field after this year three season, they come and to see you. You're going to tear the house down.
Starting point is 00:58:17 You're going to tear the house down. That's how I'm visualizing it and I can't believe. I don't know at what point. And if you don't get it here and if you get beat out by my brother Daniel Jones. Yeah. then a day a day like that like in what i'm visualizing if i was anthony richston it's not happening
Starting point is 00:58:38 it's not happening we all yeah they would never they're not bringing daniel jones in because i'm gonna do you do everything you do what you're supposed to do you you're not you're not the last end in the first down so that's it that's it that's sent a bad message there i don't know man you think maybe it's focused as somewhere else and not just Don't start me to lie. I don't know enough of a body. I don't know enough of a body. I like young bull, man.
Starting point is 00:59:06 I like young bull. I hope things work out for him over there, man. You got to get it together, man. You got to have the coach it to trust you. You got to have the player your team with your respect you. Yeah. Bring Daddy to the phone. Hurry.
Starting point is 00:59:29 So. Yeah. Bring it. Pick it up. Bring it here. Hello. Hello. Yes? Yes, please. Giants rookie first round draft pick Jackson Dart through two preseason games.
Starting point is 00:59:50 Game one against the bills, 12 of 19, 154, one touchdown. Today against the Jets, 14 of 16, 137, one passing touchdown, run rushing touchdowns, zero interceptions. Head coach Brian Dayball asked if Jackson Dart could take starting job for Russell Wilson. Russell Russ is our starting quarterback. We're going to keep developing Jackson. I do see a scenario Jackson Dart starts the season as the number two quarterback. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:00:22 And James is the number three because I don't think there is a number four. The fact that they're keeping all three of them is a really good thing because Jackson Dart has two. You think they keep all four? You think they keep all three? Yeah, absolutely. You think the Giants letting James go? Absolutely not. James is a good veteran, even if he's not on the field, good locker room presents.
Starting point is 01:00:44 A good locker room presence. Don't fall. Yeah, great locker room president. How much money does James have guaranteed? Wait, get her iPad in her shoes. Hey, shoot. No, that's my charger, Papa. That's my charge.
Starting point is 01:01:07 Okay, I got her charge. Come on, you don't need to put him on. Where are you walking out? Two year, nine million, right? Two million. Give me daddy a kiss. Come on. Give me a kiss.
Starting point is 01:01:20 Give me kiss while we're finished. You can interrupt them. I'm sorry, Chad. No, you go. No, right. Say bye, on. Say bye. Bye.
Starting point is 01:01:28 Love you. I love you. Love you, too. Papa is a girl. All right. Okay. Now we go. Now we can talk. We can talk.
Starting point is 01:01:41 You can talk. We can go. No more interruptions. Oh, Joe. What happened? What? What? What happened?
Starting point is 01:01:53 I'm trying to like... I'll be looking at it. Russ is the starter. You're developing, you're developing, you're developing Jackson Dart. Last week he started number three. This week he starts number two. I wouldn't look into that. You're looking too much into it.
Starting point is 01:02:18 You're looking too much into it. I think the ball, they have their mind made up that they're going to allow him to develop and allow him to sit back. Michael Vic, when he played, he sat back. I think rookies not being thrown to the wolves some are good at it
Starting point is 01:02:35 no no no I know Russ is the start I believe Russ starts the season No no no no no no I'm looking at the situation I'm looking at the situation with James Oh he's not going to where?
Starting point is 01:02:47 He's not going to where They're going to keep three quarterbacks Jackson Dart will more so obviously be developing and he would be the practice for our quarterback back. I don't think they throwing young bull out there to the wolves like that as a rookie. No, I'm not saying. No, he's not starting. Russ started. Russ is going to be the day one starter. But if Russ is the day one starter and then you have a rookie as the backup, do you really keep the veteran as the third guy?
Starting point is 01:03:24 Absolutely. That's what I'm, that's what I'm asking you. The third guy that you're keeping is more valuable than just being on the goddamn, excuse me, than just being on the field. He adds more value outside of just being on the field as a starting quarterback. You don't, you don't let a locker room presence like that go. You just don't. They do it all the time. But there's only one James Winston.
Starting point is 01:03:50 No. I know. And they let him go in New Orleans. We need more than that. They let him go in Cleveland when it was more than that. So it's not like it used to be Ocho because the salaries are exploding so much. And you used to be able to keep a veteran guy. Because the numbers were low.
Starting point is 01:04:13 The numbers were low. They were favorable. They were favorable. Yes. Yes. I got you. You're right. But it's going to be very interesting.
Starting point is 01:04:23 But I've been very, very impressed with Jackson Dart through the first two weeks. Justin Fields and the passing offense were out of sync today. Fields completed his first throw, then finished with five straight incompletions in two series. Fields went over three when targeting wide out, Garrett Wilson, his old buddy from Ohio State. The lack of a legit Y receiver number two to compliment Wilson is one of the reasons why they're not clicking.
Starting point is 01:04:48 I don't know why they didn't go get another receiver, O'Jell. Wait, who's the number two in New York? Alan Lazzard, has he hurt? Chad, who's the number two in New York? Wait, matter of fact, you got Reese Hall and Alan was Alan first name? God, what's Alan first name? Maybe Derek Henry.
Starting point is 01:05:25 Josh Reynolds and Alan Lazzard. Josh Reynolds, Josh Reynolds. You remember Josh Reynolds? He was playing with the Rams. He was in Detroit. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. I mean, I like it. But you know what, Ocho?
Starting point is 01:05:48 When you that dog and they gave you $30 million, damn what's on the other side. Go get open. they play you 30 million when you the number one you get no excuses no no not number that kind of money no you're number one for a reason
Starting point is 01:06:09 nope you're number one because two three and four can't do what you can do right I don't think that I don't I don't think was getting open the issue it wasn't the issue was just the pastes might have been in well I saw two routes he ran a stop route
Starting point is 01:06:24 guy was right there I think he ran another route the guy was you know see that's why them like them damn joint practices stuff like that you've seen it all week you know what's coming formation recognition knowing the count knowing where I'm lining up
Starting point is 01:06:40 understand I'm a split and you know what's coming so you're going to sit there and cheat I don't like that I don't like that because Gary Wilson is a route runner I don't know paid attention to him he's a route he's a rock He's a route runner.
Starting point is 01:06:56 So, I mean, I think they're going to be all right. It's a little too soon to panic, you know, whatever. Justin Fields is finally getting his turn. He doesn't have to look over his shoulder. This is your team. This is your team. You have a head coach that is going to do right by you. You got to make the most of this opportunity.
Starting point is 01:07:21 And, I mean, it's preseason. You want to get all your mistakes. stakes out right now. So the game you have to stay? Yes. You know what? You can't repeat these. You can't, you got to fix it now because he's in year what? Is this year four?
Starting point is 01:07:35 Just the Fields? Oh, two, two year, three years, you had a year four. Yeah. This is your make it. This is your make it a break of year two. Mm-hmm. Zach Wilson put together a solid start in Dolphin second preseason game. He completed 15 or 23 passes, 15, 15.1
Starting point is 01:07:53 yards and a touchdown. He missed a couple of would-be touchdowns. Deep-throw pass to the Deskridge that was underthrown. Rookie Quinn Ewers improved on his debut, completing 11 of 16 with a pair of touchdown to fellow rookie Theo Weitz Jr. Hey, wait, who, wait, who did you say had a great debut? What's the name again? The first name you said? Oh, Zach Wilson completed 15 or 20 151. Zach Wilson, that's my, that's my dog. That's my dog. Okay.
Starting point is 01:08:30 You do realize if he plays for the dolphins, y'all probably, y'all are not going to the playoffs, right? We'll be there. Okay. We'll be there. But again, Zach Wilson looked good today. He did. Quinn Errors, based on how he looked last week.
Starting point is 01:08:46 Yours. He looked better this week. Yes, he did. That's what you want to see. You want to see. Yes, you want to see. Exactly. Exactly. So I like it. I think dolphins, they're coming out to AFCs. What do you think about that? I think you drank a hunch punch. If you think, if you think they're beating
Starting point is 01:09:11 Buffalo. That's what I think about that. I think you all. Your face, boy, that was funny. That's what I think. I think you all. So you're not, whoa, whoa, wait a minute. I don't like the way you sound, whereas if you're trying to say the Dolphins don't have any chance in the AFC East. Look, you play football. Anything can happen. You ain't going to put no money that the Dolphins going to be the NFC East representative going to win that division. So you're telling me, you've already given Buffalo the division already, and we don't know what's going to happen? Are you just saying that because they have that happened?
Starting point is 01:09:53 Take the team with the best quarterback. Okay. All right. I like where you're going. I'm taking a team with the best quarterback. I'm taking Josh Allen over every other quarterback in that division. Two of a Drake. You're taking Josh Allen over Drake, May?
Starting point is 01:10:16 Yeah. You sure? Okay. I just want to see what you're going to say. Okay. Sure I am. So when Drake May and he got damn Stefan Diggs looked like Mark
Starting point is 01:10:30 Dan Marino and Mark Dooper and Clayton, then what you're going to say? They still got to do something with Josh Allen. All right. Tell somebody. Okay. Josh Allen is him. I wish I'll tell you something.
Starting point is 01:10:53 Are you trying to say my quarterback is not him? You're trying to say two is not him? Can't stay healthy. Can't play in the cold. I don't like your attitude. I don't like your tone. They got to do it. I don't.
Starting point is 01:11:12 The fact that you have used to playing in the cold. The funny thing, the fact that you had no confidence in us. I mean, that would be. Y'all going to play the game, but I ain't put no money. I wouldn't put no money on, on y'all, to win the division. I would not. Y'all probably got great odds, too. You wouldn't put money on the
Starting point is 01:11:29 on the dolphins. The dolphins. We had we, okay. We had what? Okay. All right. I can't wait. I can't wait to football season. I can't wait the football season because we're going to have
Starting point is 01:11:46 some nice little side bets. I'm going to pay this time. Just like you did last time. I'm going to make them small. I'm going to make them small. Ashton Genti had seven carries for 33 yards today, Ocho. His 13-yard run was part of an eight-play, 41-yard score and drive that ended with him piring his way into the end zone
Starting point is 01:12:11 for one-yard touchdown. After the game, Genti said, I've arrived, and it's time to keep going and make plays for this team. I don't know if I've ever heard somebody say, I've arrived in the preseason, but I'm going to take his word for it. He ran with authority day. I like to run he had.
Starting point is 01:12:26 Punished the defender, lower the shoulder. He can run. I mean, he's run with power. I mean, he's not an overly big guy. I mean, what's he? Five, eight, five, nine. But he's powerfully built. You look at the way he's built from waist down.
Starting point is 01:12:41 You can tell he's a power. He's a power runner. Listen. Hey, I saw one of the clips. Well, somebody, somebody caught him. I saw the one we ran dude over. but on the left side, somebody caught him good.
Starting point is 01:12:55 Oh, yeah. I don't know if that was a safety coming down here. I don't know who it was. But, well, you might want to get word to him. You've got to pick and choose your battles. Hey, he's not going to be able to say it. You're not fit to run through.
Starting point is 01:13:08 You're not fit to run through people like you did at Boy of the State. It's the preseason. He doesn't, he doesn't understand yet. No, you're going to learn real quick. What's some grown in at there, boy. yeah so but i thought you know look like gino gino had great command of the offense gino is very very familiar with uh pete carroll uh that's a good thing pitt went and got it
Starting point is 01:13:37 so it's going to be interesting to see how the raiders do look that that division is good very you got mahomes in that division they won the division probably like what the last eight years they probably won the division every year since what 2016 is it 2018 I thought it was yeah you got to realize because they had Alex Smith they won a division they won the division every year Patrick Mahomes has been the starting quarterback and he started in 29 2018 he got drafted in 17 the last one Broncos uh won the division they won the they won the uh the Super Bowl that was 20 that was the last so since then since 2016, the Chiefs has been
Starting point is 01:14:19 winning the 8th. Yeah. But you got Mahomes, you got Herbert, you got Bo Nix, and Gino. That's a, look, that might be the second best division in football as far as quarterbacks. I think the AFC, I think the AFC North. Hello, NFC, East.
Starting point is 01:14:37 What do we talk about? Yeah, let's see, hold on. Who's the Tennessee? Yeah. I think for me, it's clear that it's the AFC, it's the AFC North with, you know, you got two of the top four quarterbacks in one division. Okay, Rogers and it, yeah, even with Cleveland, we didn't give it Cleveland nothing with those two, those two top four guys and Rogers. And then, you know, okay, I, I can see that, I can see that, the NFC, East with Russ,
Starting point is 01:15:10 Jane Daniels, Jalen Hertz, Dak, but Mahomes, Justin Herbert. Bo necks. There ain't no snout to them. I like Bo too, man. I really, really like both. I like Bo. So if somebody said, if someone said I would take the AFC West quarterback, I wouldn't fight him.
Starting point is 01:15:36 Because you got Mahomes. My home has been to five Super Bowls. You got Justin Herbert. You got a Boe Nix who's up and coming. now Hertz is one of the Super Bowl he's been to two Russ has been to
Starting point is 01:15:51 211 but DAC where we where we put in DAC? You take DAC or you take Justin Herbert? That's a good one. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:04 That's a chat who y'all like? You take DAC or you take Justin Herbert? Hey I mean half the chat going to say They're going to say Justin Herbert because they just don't like the damn cowboys. No, I think I, I, I, I,
Starting point is 01:16:26 both of them. There ain't nothing that kid can't do. That kid got an arm. He is immensely armed talent. Yeah. He's, he's more athletic than you think. And he can flat out throw it. I told you, I'm looking at the chat.
Starting point is 01:16:49 What is it? A whole bunch of herbers going back and forth, and I see a DAC every so often. I knew they were going to do that.
