The game tonight, the Spurs beat the Pistons, the two hottest teams playing right now. San Antonio Spurs beat the Detroit Pistons. On the road by the score of 114 to 103. Wemby was everywhere tonight, 21 points, 17 rebounds, six blocks.
Starting point is 00:05:08 He was sensational. And because he forced the Pistons to shoot 38% from the floor, 19% from the three. Stefan Castle had 16 points and 11 assists, all the while holding Cade Cunningham to 5 or 26 shooting. The Spurs have started the annual rodeo road trip, 5 and 0 for the first time since 2012. And now they are 41 and 16.
Starting point is 00:05:34 114 to 103 over the pistol. Joe, you watch this ball game and you saw the, this is a very young San Antonio team, but they play way, way beyond their years. They look good. Oh, yeah, they, Ocho, they look real good because, you know, they kind of top heavy, but they got some great complimentary pieces. And you look at Vassal and Champany, those guys pretty much won the game.
Starting point is 00:05:56 I mean, Vassal started off the game. He was cooking with grease. You hear me? He was hot as fish grease. I think because Wemby, Fox, and even a little Dylan Brooks, I mean, not Dylan Brooks, Dylan Harper, those guys put so much pressure, you know, on the defense road, and Wimby anchors the defense, Arkin Ocho. Even if he don't block your shot, he's going to alter it.
Starting point is 00:06:20 Oh, man, but they got so many weapons. They got so many guys who can beat you. You don't know on a night-to-night basis who's going to explode for 25, 30 points because it may be somebody who you ain't really game playing for. And for Detroit, K. can't go five for 26 on you know you he Detroit depends on him so much and this is you know part of the MVP MVP talk that we've been talking about right he can't afford to have off nights like this oh cho and expect for the pistons to pick him up and they win it's just not possible so
Starting point is 00:06:57 the good thing about all this the pistons won't have to see them unless they make it to the finals but because thank god You're right, Joe. You look at Tobias Harris, one or six. Duncan Robinson, five of 15, three of 11 from three. Kay Cunningham was five of 26, two or nine from three. Ronald Holland came in. He had his first three shots and then per like to go two of ten.
Starting point is 00:07:23 Yeah. For the rest of the game, one or six from three. Yavonte Green, 0,05. Danis Jenkins, three or ten. And you look at, like I said, Champany and Wimby and Dieron Fox Vassel. Remember guys, they got rid of Soshawn because they couldn't get him any minutes. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:41 They had to let him go. Yeah. He was doing what he does. They moved Harrison Barnes was once in the starting lineup. Now he's coming off the bitch. Kelton Johnson comes off the bench. Dylan Harper, who's what, a top three pick comes off the bench. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:55 So this team is loaded. And like you said, Joe, on a given night, you really don't know who can light you up. You know when it can go get your 30-20. You know Stefan Castle. He had a, what, a 30, a 40-point triple-double a couple of nights ago, Champini. But this is a good team, man. They play defense.
Starting point is 00:08:16 They play hard because they can funnel everything to Wemby. Man, you know Wimby back there. Oh, yeah. He might not block it, but he damn showball alter it. Oh, yeah. And another thing, Ocho, it ain't but a handful of teams in the NBA who extend their pressure to pick up defensively. San Antonio is one.
Starting point is 00:08:34 Detroit can do it O-KC Austin does it too and Indiana and so this is a good defensive game I thought I thought it was physical I thought Duren played great against
Starting point is 00:08:48 Wemby Ocho he was physical with him early took his legs from him a little bit because I thought Wembe kind of got off he kind of got out to such a slow start but I thought Duran energy effort and just his physicality alone
Starting point is 00:09:01 is what kept him in the game but they got They've got to have Kay play a lot better than this. Yeah, I think, obviously, I watched the game, Uncle Joe, and obviously Wemby Vassel looked very good, Castle. Wimbi Yama going to do what he does, but Detroit, Detroit is a good team, right? They play both good.
Starting point is 00:09:20 They play very well on both ends of the court. But Kaye Cunning, based on the comments he just made a few days ago, not too long ago, about him being the best, you know? American player? I mean, yeah, yeah, most definitely. So games like tonight, it has to show up. when you're playing against the cream of the crop when it comes to teams, like the Spurs.
Starting point is 00:09:38 So, I mean, obviously you won't always have games like this, but games like this, we need you to show up and be at your best. This is the time to show out. Yeah, I agree. I agree, Joe. Yeah, I agree with you, Joe. I don't know if they have another guy that I can consistently, if Kay get held down, who can I really count on
Starting point is 00:10:00 to go give me that production? Right. Everybody else, I mean, you look at OK, see, if you shut off Shay, you got J-dub. Yeah. You got Chet. Yeah. So you got other options.
Starting point is 00:10:11 Yeah. Okay, you say, I want to shut down Yolkich. Now you got to deal with Jamal Murray. Morey. Right. So other teams have guys that, okay, let's just take the Rockets. Now, Shungun hadn't been playing well of late, but you know he's a walking 2020 guy. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:27 Oh, yeah. If you say, I'm going to take Katie away, Shingoon can punish you. Yeah. So I'm looking at, and I'm looking at, I'm looking at Detroit. I'm not really counting on Tobias Harris Harris because I've seen enough of him and I saw him in Philly. And when, when, when,
Starting point is 00:10:40 uh, Joe Ellen Bede, couldn't get it going. Yeah. I, I, I, I,
Starting point is 00:10:46 I just don't have a whole lot of faith in Tobias. He's going to have to, he's going to have to step up and give him something. He's a veteran president on the team. He didn't been there. He's played on, you know, some pretty good playoff teams. I think when the postseason come,
Starting point is 00:10:58 he's going to have to win them a game or two in a series in order for them in advance because you put so much on K, he got a, Kay, he's going to have to play like D. Wade played and when was that? In the final series? Yeah. He had a good Dallas. He has a sturdy photo.
Starting point is 00:11:14 He has a 30 photo. Ocho, in order for the pissings to win, that's what Kaye going to have to do. He's going to have to have an out-of-body experience to the point to where he's consistently carrying his team night in and night out. I think that's going to be the hardest part about them advancing in the postseason because other teams going to gear up to stop him. Yes. And, you know, he'll take some difficult shots.
Starting point is 00:11:36 He's not the most efficient. We saw the other night, Joe, where he got up, what, he got up 34 shots against the Knicks. Now, he won, 42, what, 42, 13, and 8. Yeah. And so when you're inefficient and you win, people tend to look past it. Right. But when you go five or 26 and you lose, they're like, well, damn. Well, he's kind of, this is kind of his MO.
Starting point is 00:11:59 Yeah. He's not, he's not, he's not the most efficient. And I get it. I get it. He's going to take some difficult shots. You ask him to do a lot because he's an outstanding defender. But I'm going to go back to Tobias Harris. The best thing that ever happened to Dubai's Harris is that he got a chance to play with Ben Simmons.
Starting point is 00:12:15 Because Ben Simmons caught all the flat while Tobias was on a max contract and wasn't getting criticized at all. I agree. Because everything is like Joe Ellen B or Ben Simmons. And Tobias Harris flew up at the radar. You thought he was a B-52. He was flying up on the radar because he couldn't. He went undetected. And then you looked up like,
Starting point is 00:12:31 Hold on. Hot Tobias only has six points. Right, right. And we're killing Joel and B. We're killing Ben Simmons, but he's a max player too. Yeah, I agree, I agree, I agree. He got to take some blame for that. But I think things are a little different for him. I think he knows he should know anyway
Starting point is 00:12:50 in order for them to even have a chance, Ocho to make it to a finals, he's got to get him a consistent production night in and night out. It's just not possible. They're not offensively, heavily structured, to put up 130, 140 points a night. No. They're not constructed like that.
Starting point is 00:13:07 So I expect Cade, obviously, to play a lot better, and I expect him to get a little help from these other guys. I think Duren has been playing awesome. He was. I mean, you know, he's an all-star. He played really good in the All-Star game. He was on the Stars that ended up beating the Stripes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:24 And they won the All-Star. So I'm counting on Duren to give me a double-double. I'm at least accounting on him to give me somewhere between 16 and 20 and somewhere between 10 and 15 rebound. I'm pimping that end on Chuck. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. And I ain't got no white out and I ain't got no eraser.
Starting point is 00:13:42 So it's an ink. It's in Sharpe. It ain't going nowhere. So I got that down. So J.B. goes to him, say, son, this is what I expect of you. 16 to 20, 10 to 15. K, I need you to be an all NBA player. I need you to be, you, you say you're the best American player.
Starting point is 00:14:00 You got to show me. In the MVP discussion. You got to show me. You got to. And you've got to take it to another level because there's levels to this. If you really look at the best, the best NBA players, look at their playoff averages compared to the regular season average. I agree.
Starting point is 00:14:16 They elevate. Yeah, got to. Look at Jordan. You go look at Kobe. You look at LeBron. Yeah. Look at, you look at, you look at, look at Jamar. Jamar Murray is out of this galaxy.
Starting point is 00:14:26 Yeah, yeah. You're right. You're right. But that's because. That's when you make your name. That's when you grow, become that iconic and grow that legacy is what you do come post season. Right. And if they're going to be what they think they can be in Detroit, because who's in there?
Starting point is 00:14:45 If you really think about who's in their way, the Knicks, maybe the Celtics? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, Orlando's kind of up and down. Toronto is kind of hit a miss. You know, I don't know what Bia. I'm going to get on a consistent basis. body Barnes on those consistent basis.
Starting point is 00:15:02 Right. So right now, if you make me pick, I say probably the Nick Celtics. But Detroit's going to have to, they're going to have to play a little bit. I mean, you can't shoot 38% and 19% from the three and expect to be an upper echelon team. Yeah, no. I think, I think Kate, he'll take, he'll take blame for this, you know, just being a leader, Uncle Ocho, you know, it's just some games. You got to raise your hand, be like, hey, my bad tonight.
Starting point is 00:15:26 Yeah. Because. Oh, we forgot about the calves. The calves, the calves going to have. something to say about it too. Yeah, yeah. Deird, uh, uh, uh, Donovan. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:35 Yeah, those two big twin towers. Yeah. So they're going to have a little something to say. And they got, you know, uh, Merrill can shoot the ball from three. He can get hot and he could, hey, he can shoot you out of the building. They're going to hurry. Yeah. They just came off like a seven game win streak.
Starting point is 00:15:50 They lost other night, but they had been playing pretty good ball. But, but, but back to Kay, Uncle Ocho. Yeah. Uh, I'm not, I'm not necessarily too worried about his inefficiency. I need him to be aggressive. He got to be aggressive. You remember how AI was when he was playing for Philly? He got to look to score the ball.
Starting point is 00:16:09 He has to take volume shots because everything is going to be catered to stop him and he's got to, you know, this is what superstars do, man. They show up when time is needed. He got to be as ultra-aggressive. But here's the thing, Joe, if he say like, if he can be somewhere between like 44 and 47%,
Starting point is 00:16:27 he started getting down to that 41, 40, 30, at 38, they got no chance. Yeah, no, no, no. They got no chance because a lot of those shots, they're going to get runouts. Yeah, yeah. So that's what you, that's what you got to be careful because, you know, some of those shots,
Starting point is 00:16:41 they're going to be airballs, they're going to throw the long pad, they're going to throw a touchdown pass, or they're going to hit the back eye, and then next day, you know, two dribbles and a layup at the other end. Right. So that's my only concern.
Starting point is 00:16:51 As long as he's not in the low 40s, dip down to the 30s, I think they have an next one chance of winning. I agree. I think what we're hurting him tonight, he got off to a bad start. He's like eight, one for nine to start the game. Hey, when you get off to a start like that,
Starting point is 00:17:05 in order to get back to 50%, boy, you got to start cooking. You got to make your next eight shot. You make it the next eight shot, now you have 50%. Yes, sir, you got to start cooking. That's like, that's one of the worst feelings because you try to get it all back at once, okay, Ocho, but you don't have to take your time and just let it come to you, but it's just a part of the game.
Starting point is 00:17:24 Because the great player, what you say, Joe, shoot or shoot. Yeah, shoot. And you believe the next one's going in. There you go. Like, damn, man, somebody taking lead out the basket. A hell. Boom. Boom.
Starting point is 00:17:35 And you get good looks to that thing. I mean, he had one three. It was all the way down and it just came out. Oh, man. Oh, man. I know that feeling too, boy. That's an ugly feeling. It's tough.
Starting point is 00:17:48 It's a tough one. Oh, Cho, that's like us. You know, you struggle a couple. You know, drop one or two early. Yeah. Then you fight the ball. And beat you up. Man, I don't call the ball like six times.
Starting point is 00:18:01 That's only one catch. Yeah. You know, you bobbing it. I'm like, ooh, all over here? Yeah. I know exactly what it feels like. Oh, so well. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:12 Oh, so well. I'm Dylan Playfair. And I'm Tyler Smith. We're putting loneliness in the penalty box by talking to some of our favorite athletes about the importance of friendship. This is bromance. Bromance is brought to you by Charmed Diamond Centers,

There's more to imagine when you listen. Sign up for a free trial at audible.com. LeBron James spoke about his relationship with Jalen Brown. Let's take a listen. This was after yesterday's game, guys. I think you just use the motivation of a lot of people just saying that they're going to have a down year because of, you know, obviously JT being out, you know, them losing Drew. You know, Leaves, Prezingus Lees, the whole championship team pretty much is kind of revamped.
Starting point is 00:20:50 And he uses that motivation to keep them afloated, playing great basketball. And it's because of him and the rest of those guys, he's taking that next step. You know, our relationship has been, you know, pretty respectful. You know, besides the shit, he said about Bronny at Summer League, but other than that. Yeah, but other than that, other than that, you know, we've been all right, you know. We guys, you know, we'd be all right, we'd be all right. Yeah, we'd be all right. I think he went on, he went on social media and said something about it. It's all good, but running got a long way to go, but that's another story.
Starting point is 00:21:22 But the kid, I mean, listen, J.B. is doing shit. He's playing great basketball, man. And you can't even, you can't fought it. I don't, you know, this whole MVP thing is. I don't understand why his name is not getting talked about some as well. Like, nobody gave them a shot to start. the season. And he's at what, 30? Yeah, just under 30. Yeah, just under 30. Yeah, it's a popularity contest sometimes.
Starting point is 00:21:47 Hey, that's dope. That's dope. That's how you answer a question as a true professional, despite some of the things that might have been said, you know, about your son, hey, our relationship is respectful. Right. I mean, most of the time, it's hard to gauge how someone truly feels, especially when cameras are in front of them, because anything LeBron says, you know, it catches fire. So he has to be careful and any very media savvy in the way he answers any way he answers questions. So based on what we just saw and what we just heard,
Starting point is 00:22:14 you would think it was no problems at all. Despite some of the things that J.B. might have said, hell, when it comes to basketball, yes, he's playing well. What is he supposed to say? He's playing bad because he's not. Even with J.T. out, he's the reason why the sales are doing as well as they're doing with the supporting cash that J.B. has.
Starting point is 00:22:30 Now, even with the stuff he said about my son, that's a whole different question that he's not going to answer truthfully on camera well I mean he he kind of got into it but this is what I don't understand Joe help me understand Joe you got kids oh Joe you got kids I got kids yeah let's just say you got your son he'll mess up if a co-worker says something
Starting point is 00:22:52 about it you're going to feel some type of weight I don't know why people can't get that through their head right at the end of the day whether or not Bronny James is good enough to be in the NBA that's still his son. So imagine a lot of you guys out there got effort for sons and daughters. When somebody says something about them,
Starting point is 00:23:10 you feel some type of way. Yes or no. It's a simple, it's a simple yes or a simple no. Because I know I would feel some type of way if somebody said something about my kid. That's still his kid. Absolutely. I don't know why people is true.
Starting point is 00:23:25 It could be true. But if somebody says something about your kid, Are you going to be okay with that? Are you going to be saying, hey, they told the truth? No. Your son go to jail. Your son get pop. Your daughter get pregnant as a teenager.
Starting point is 00:23:39 You okay if a coworker, someone you know says something about your child. Are you going to be okay? No, but because it's LeBron James, y'all like, oh, he's blowing it out of proportion. At the end of the day, the only condition, unconditional love is a parent and a child. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:57 Because you love your child regardless. It doesn't come. Well, in a relationship, well, as long as you don't, long as you take care of me, long as you don't cheat on me, long as you don't believe, and I get it. But a parent and a child is a different type of relationship than a relationship with someone that you start outside. And I don't know why people can't understand that. And also, Joe, before you go, Uncle, and people would also understand.
Starting point is 00:24:24 Now, even though it is your child, once you get and you reach that pinnacle of being an NBA player, sometimes even your peers were criticized not just your father but hell your son can get it too it gets to that point to where now you're fair game because now you're at the up echelon of the childhood dream
Starting point is 00:24:43 the NBA so therefore the the criticizing can come not just from fans hell not just from media but from your peers as well let me ask your question Ocho how old can your kids be before someone can criticize them and you be cool with
Starting point is 00:24:59 it. Oh, never that, huh? You know, better than that. No, never that. No, no, no. Wait,
Starting point is 00:25:05 listen, no, that's not what I was saying. I was saying, understand what comes with the territory once that's that of said being in the NBA. That's all.
Starting point is 00:25:12 I don't, I don't know. Joe, even though, even though, even though, it comes with the territory and we know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:18 It's the same thing. It's the same. And people like, well, you said this about Russ. I've never played the music about Russ. I talked about Russ
Starting point is 00:25:26 about the ill-advised shots, the costly turnover, the Matador defense. And people try to compare me saying Russ was not playing good basketball. Russ isn't the same player that he once was as the guy that sent Russ wife and talked about Russ in the same
Starting point is 00:25:42 breath. How is that the same? It's not. All I'm saying is that look, yes, LeBron knows that there's some criticism that's going to come. They criticize LeBron and he just got more points than anybody in the history of the game. He's about to play the most games
Starting point is 00:25:57 in the history of the game. He has the fifth most assists nobody that's in the top 10 can even nobody's in the top 20 comes close to lebron as far as assists yeah he understands that but at the end of the day there's still a place that's my child and i'm going to protect my child right that it's it's just it just it is what it is and it's us that somehow ocho i thought that's what we do see we're the only ones that feel bad about helping our child get ahead in life. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. They do it all the time.
Starting point is 00:26:32 Where Jerry Jones kids work at, Joe, oh, Joe. With the Cowboys. You need to tell me your dad can help you get ahead. How many times have we seen that they help their kids get ahead? But we're supposed to feel bad if we help our kids get ahead. Right, right, right. Damn it.
Starting point is 00:26:51 If my kids wanted to work in media, you best believe they got a job. If somebody might not have one, but they're going to have one. Hey, go ahead, Joe. Hey, listen, I think it goes back, you know, to the last time I was on here with y'all. Heavy as a head that wears the crown, fellas. Absolutely. This is part, hey, look, this comes with the territory.
Starting point is 00:27:10 Uncle, I know what you're saying. Yep, that's my child. And I'm going to defend him every chance I get. You say something about them because we're in a, we're in a funny stage to wear in hoops. We've never seen this combination before. We've never seen a father, son, duo, teammates. Actually cross over. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:27 Yeah. So we've never, yeah, and they're on the same team. Hello. So look, now we're having to deal with this in real time. And obviously, you know, Brunney going to have people shooting at him. It's just what it is. He's LeBron's son. He's going to get everybody's A game.
Starting point is 00:27:40 Every time he touched the floor, he got a target on his back. Yes, that's what it is. And he has to be aware of that. And I just think, man, it's unfortunate. But I love the fact that LeBron gave Jalen Brown his props. It's flowers. Yeah. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:27:55 Two things can be true. I didn't approve of what he said. But he's the MVP candidate. He's playing his ass off. Absolutely. Absolutely. Because they came in the L.A. last night and put on the show.
Starting point is 00:28:06 It beat the brakes off of him. You hear me? Yeah. Payton Pritchett. Oh, you still think you could take Peyton Pritchett? Huh? Hey, boy, a young boy, hey, young boy, nice, huh? You heard me?
Starting point is 00:28:15 Hey, hey, hey, Joe. Hey, boy, Mr. Pritchett, nice, ain't he? Yeah. Hey, he gets to that money on, Ocho. Yeah. And that's the thing. You look at him. Hey, you look at him, and he'll go,
Starting point is 00:28:27 he'll go to a ruck apart and drop 30, a order on somebody here. Because they're looking at it like, man, this little white dude, they're about to do nothing. And he'll come up next day, you know, his team got 140, and he got 50 of them.
Starting point is 00:28:40 Man, look, that boy, what, he had 30-something last night. 30-something left out of the bench. He came in getting straight to it. Also got, hey, look, I know we didn't gave him their props, but Boston's going to be in the thick of them, man.
Starting point is 00:28:51 They've been looking good as of late. They've been looking good. I give you another example. The same thing what people say about magic. I had magic on the show. Yeah. And I was like, magic, when did you know that your son, that EJ wasn't going to be a basketball player? He wasn't going to play football.
Starting point is 00:29:10 He's like, he's like, shop, you know, there were signs. We saw things that, you know, he didn't want to play with trucks. He didn't want to do things. And people won't magic to disown his son because he chose a life that's different than what was a heterosexual man. Yeah, hell no. Hell no. Magic say, hey, magic say, I believe in God too, but that's my son. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:29:31 Absolutely. If I got to, if one of my kids chose to live a different lifestyle, guess what? I take that up with God when I get up there with him. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They ain't got nothing to do with y'all down here. Right. Whatever God got his door for me and my child, I take it up with him once I get up there. Yeah, most definitely.
Starting point is 00:29:51 I mean, obviously, you can't, that's, that's one thing, regardless of what they choose to be, it might be against your will. It might be against what you, maybe something you didn't want, Joe, uh-huh? Yeah. I ain't just owning nothing. Now, whatever you decide to do, now what you're not going to do, if you're going to, if you're going to be whatever it is,
Starting point is 00:30:08 whatever you identify as, you better be the best at it. Don't you embarrass me. Don't you half-ass it. Now, if you're going to be gay, you bet you better be the best of gay out there. Be it. Be it. Whatever you're going to do, you better be the best at it. Don't embarrass you.
Starting point is 00:30:23 Listen, listen. Hey, Joe, I don't care. I don't care what your child to do, but she better be one of the best at it. Because how many times, how many times, guys, have we heard,
Starting point is 00:30:32 boy, that child can't do nothing wrong in his mom or dad dies. Boy, that child, that child is terrible, but mom and dad can't see,
Starting point is 00:30:39 can't see no fault in their own child. Right. We've all been there. I'm like, damn, my kid really that bad? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:53 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. They're that bad. But I look, I agree with you, Joe, it comes along with the territory. What comes along with the territory that when you play a professional sport,
Starting point is 00:31:06 they're going to come criticism. You see it from peers, being from the media, whatever the case may be. It doesn't make it any easier because a lot of times, Joe, you say something very interesting. You said, hey, they're going to go at him.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Well, if I can't get your dad, I'm going to tell your kid ass up. Yeah. Because that's the only way I get it. Because remember I told you, oh, the dude couldn't beat my brother, so he tried to get you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:27 Yeah. Yeah. They could never do anything with LeBron, so they go at, uh, uh, uh, Browning. Absolutely. That's, that's, that's, that's just the way it is. I had it in high school when playing sports.
Starting point is 00:31:39 Oh, you started a little brother. Okay. Yeah, I'm his little brother, but don't sleep now. Yeah. I'm gonna light y'all ass up too. Up too. But I, but look, I think, you know what? You know, what?
Starting point is 00:31:51 You know, sometimes closeness. brings resentment. You see, Jordan didn't get this kind of resentment right because there wasn't nobody close to him. Kobe didn't get this kind of bitchy off because wasn't nobody close to him. And one of the things that people say about LeBron is that what?
Starting point is 00:32:06 He wants to be friendly. He wants to be like. Hey, I just, you know, the fact that you just said that Jordan wasn't friendly, huh? Hell no. No. Kobe wasn't friendly?
Starting point is 00:32:18 Well, I know Kobe wasn't friendly. And Kobe became friendly after he retired. Yeah. They didn't care. about having no friends. No. And Jordan still, Jordan still ain't got a whole lot of friends.
Starting point is 00:32:28 Jordan messed with like oak. That's really the only dude that Jordan still rock with. Man, listen. Jordan over there, having a ball over that NASCAR. He said, he went back to back racing. Dayton and in Hampton.
Starting point is 00:32:41 He said, I'm tired of basketball. I'm going to NASCAR. Say, look. It is. But, but no, no, no, no, no. Jordan, no, no, Jordan. Jordan didn't give a deed.
Starting point is 00:32:51 Kobe didn't care about nothing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hold on. Wait, wait, man, I'm confused. Let's separate the two now. I'm talking about on the court. I know they don't care, they don't care nothing about that. I'm talking about off the court either.
Starting point is 00:33:06 They're real? Yeah. Some sharks, boy. Hey, hey, Joe, I mean, honestly, my personality, it wouldn't allow me to live like that. On the field, yes, even on the field, I was fun, entertaining, but I'm a kid, I'm a kill you. Like my mentality was I'm going at your heart as a player
Starting point is 00:33:27 But I can't have that same mentality off Like I got to talk, have fun, hang out But what y'all doing? You want to go smoke? You know, whatever it may be But the fact that they were really like that Outside of basketball They had a singular focus
Starting point is 00:33:40 Yeah, they couldn't all the time And they couldn't turn it off They couldn't turn it off Couldn't turn it, it doesn't matter Look, if you're playing cards If you put whatever you plan, They want to kill you in it, Ocho, that's just how it is.
Starting point is 00:33:52 Yeah. Yeah. Jordan bet everything. He's not going to do anything for fun. Ain't nothing, ain't nothing for fun. Ain't no shoot, no pool for fun. It ain't no playing no cards for fun. It ain't playing no golf for fun.
Starting point is 00:34:06 It ain't nothing. He don't do anything for fun. Hey, hey, he want to see how you work under pressure. Yeah. Everybody don't work good under pressure, Ocanocho. It busts, but he can make diamonds as well. Everybody don't work well under pressure. And it's even worse with the money in your pocket.
Starting point is 00:34:27 See, if I put it, hey, we ain't got the money in the playoffs, Coach, you know what I'm saying? But just imagine, just imagine you had to put the money that you received in the playoffs. You had to put it up. And then if you got it, if you won, they doubled it. They gave it back to you. So Joyn't go put a, let's bet $50,000 on this hand. Huh?
Starting point is 00:34:49 50 what? 50,000 on a hand. Yeah. Yeah, bye. That's the only hand you're going to get. Bye. Right. Um, Mara Cropin told a story.
Starting point is 00:35:00 Dude had money wanting to bet Jordan 100,000. It's flip for it. George, say, I ain't got a whole lot of time. Let's flip for it. I call it. And I know, he said, no, I'm good. You're okay? I ain't got a whole lot of time.
Starting point is 00:35:14 I'm in a bit of a hurry. Go ahead and call it. Flip for it. Hey, hey, he, dude, love to gamble, man. He loves to gamble. Anything that's competitive. Yes, yes. And I think that's how him and Oak bonded
Starting point is 00:35:26 because Oak love to gamble. They love cars. They love playing boo-ray. They love playing guts. Joy, I mean, Joy, they love that. I ain't got it, Locho. Hey, I'm telling you, boy, you make mistakes, man. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:41 Because there ain't no chips. They got real cash stacked up there. See, like, when you got a chip, Ocho, you don't look at, you don't see it. Sometimes you don't see it as money. Right. Right. But when you actually got money, you got 50, 100, 200,000, quarter of a million on that table? Ooh, we.
Starting point is 00:35:58 Yeah. Man, stop. You hit a little different. I can't, hey. I can't even fathom. I can visualize and what you're all saying, but I can't fathom sitting at a table with $20,000 and chips. 100,000, 50,000 in chips. I mean, I mean, what do they do that at?
Starting point is 00:36:16 I mean, I understand people, I understand people do it because they have, you know, their vices, but man. Hey, Joe, when I go to Vegas, $100 is my limit. Maybe $200 on the blackjack table, $25 table, Joe. You ain't going to win. You ain't going to win. I like the small win, Joe.
Starting point is 00:36:35 I like the small win, Joe. They're going there with 100 and leave with 400. That's a win to me, Joe. I know it ain't, it ain't going to move the needle, but just the fact that I don't gamble, but I will try it every blue moon. I only go to Vegas, maybe once, twice a year, Joe. That ain't bad.
Starting point is 00:36:49 That's not an addiction. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I didn't play. I call that circumstance. I just happened to be there. Right. You don't gamble, in Vegas?
Starting point is 00:36:57 No. I hadn't actually been to a table and probably sat at a table probably in 20 years. Damn. No, no. I come to Vegas now. I'm going to get a little gambling.
Starting point is 00:37:09 And I ain't going to, if I lose $1,000, I'm done. That's my limit. Okay, Joe. Okay, Joe. What are you playing, quarter slots? No, I'm playing, uh,
Starting point is 00:37:17 I'm playing, uh, uh, I'm shooting craps. I may play a little blackjack, but I ain't, I ain't going too crazy. Oh, you see, yeah, you see, you try to, you're the same kind of gamble. You want to load up on the six and eight.
Starting point is 00:37:31 You're going to try to. Hey, look, but hold up. While y'all are playing, though, I was staying at the wind one night. And I won $27,000 with this little playing blackjack. I mean, not blackjacket. Oh, Joe. 27,000?
Starting point is 00:37:47 Shooting dice. Three card poker? I was shooting dice on the crap table. Oh, you're, okay. I was on the dice. No lie. I was on the dice probably about 35, 40 minutes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:57 And, uh, man, I had built it up until I had about 4,500 on almost every point. And I just kept rolling. So listen, hold on though. When I won, when I had initially won $29,000. So once I won that, I started taking all my money off the board. I was like, you know what? I know I ain't going to be this hot too long. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:17 When I fall on, when I fall on, when I won. I fall off, I'm walking out the door. Right. Took my money, I was gone. Yeah. Yeah. And the thing is you bet you bet it the hard way. You bet, because it gives your odds, what?
Starting point is 00:38:28 Eight to one, 10 to one, odds on six and eight. Yeah. So you get the hard eight when you roll four, four, you get a hard six, three, three. You get 10, you know, a five and five. Yes, son. You bar it, five and nine. Hey, look, you just want to roll numbers.
Starting point is 00:38:42 You just want to stay on the day. That's all you would do. Just roll the number. Just roll the number. Oh, man. What? Kill them, Ocho. I bet that we being,
Starting point is 00:38:49 Ben Burns go to the table. We betting somebody crap out. What are we doing here? Like, bro, they're saying a team sport. We're not team. I bet you crap. You did. Not pay after dice.
Starting point is 00:39:03 Hey, Ocho, Ocho, y'all don't play no poker, nothing? I played some hoax. I used to. I used to play poker. I used to play poker one time. Did you really? I did.
Starting point is 00:39:12 Yeah, Joe, you'd be mad at me, Joe. You can't play no poker? Joe, I don't even understand. game, boy. Oh, man. Joe, I got to rely on the people sitting next to me when I'm playing blackjack and rely on the dealer if I don't have nobody there. Oh, I don't know what they go to the wrong. You go to the wrong casino. They won't let you talk. You can't do that. Right, right. Huh? They don't let you go to the wrong casino. They won't let you tell. You can't talk. Oh, for real. The only casino I go to is, is Vegas. I don't, you know, the hard rock right
Starting point is 00:39:43 here down the street. I'm saying there's a lot of casino. You got to win, you got R, you got hard rock. Oh yeah, I don't know about them. You got the palms. Hey, Joe, and that's a good thing too for me, Joe, is the fact that I don't understand all the games that are in the casino. So there's really no interest in me wanting to play or let alone gamble.
Starting point is 00:40:01 So not only am I cheap as hell, I don't understand the goddamn game, they got no way. Blackjack for me, I play a little $100, $200, $25 games simply because I just know I gotta get, I gotta be the dealer. That's all I know. Right, okay, okay. Well, I mean, look, look, I don't like the shoe.
Starting point is 00:40:20 I like single deck or double deck. When they start getting to that shoe, they got six decks. I don't really. I don't really care too much for that shoe. That shoe, man, that shoe have you messed up. The thing is about, but with Blackjack, one bad play can mess up the whole shoe. Man.
Starting point is 00:40:38 And you just get your head bust for the rest of that shoe. Somebody take a car, take the dealer bus car. Hey, you mad at them on us. You start a fight over there. That's why I don't really play blackjack too much. No, I said, don't he worry about it. That's why I pick my money and gone somewhere. Because,
Starting point is 00:41:00 because sometimes, man, I'd be feeling like they brought this dude in here to F the game up. Hey, man, I said, no, I ain't put the way. But I'm like, oh, I'll go play blackjack. Sometimes I play a pile guy, I play three car poker. Or I play crap. That's all I play. No roulette.
Starting point is 00:41:19 They play the shots. They just play slot machine. I ain't got time for that. Y'all don't play the roulette? Well, you can just bet on the color. No, hell no. No, no. Uh-uh.
Starting point is 00:41:27 On roulette? Hey, a roulette, that's the one in the table go around in the server. Yeah. And they always, they say bet on red, right? You bet on what? I mean, you can read a red or black, but you're going to come out of better bet in the number, though. I'm bad, yeah. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:41:40 I'm good. I'm good. I don't like that. Hey, Joe, I don't like to bet no money where I'm not in complete control of the outcome. If I'm not in complete control outcome, because the cars don't know you. No, I'm saying. You say the cars don't know you? No, I'm just saying in general.
Starting point is 00:41:55 That's why I don't like Gamma because the outcome is not in my control. And the dice damn show don't know you. Oh, we. Absolutely not. Man. Absolutely not. But, no, we got to go to bank. So, Joe, will you come out here?
Starting point is 00:42:10 Because I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to have what's the car. I'm going to go to the, I'm going to go with Dana. I'm going to go to Casino with Dana. Dan will be playing 100,000 hand, 200,000. I'll be watching, y'all. What you think I'll be doing? I play 100, 200, 200. Not no thousand.
Starting point is 00:42:31 Hell no. Hey, I would love to be there just to watch that, just to see it in person. Just to see it in person. Again, knowing you got it, but you'll never do it, but see other people do it because they got it and can afford to lose it, I can't recruit me.
Starting point is 00:42:47 You know, 200,000? You know how long I got to work to recoup 200,000, Joe? Man, hey, oh, hey. Catch no touchdown, Joe. Oh, man. Oh, Joe, we had to go out there and gamble with Uncle a little bit. Just a little bit. Just a little bit.
Starting point is 00:43:02 Just a little bit. How much we talking? I told you, huh? 10K. That boy ain't, that boy isn't spending no 10K. Oh, shit. The devil is. Hey, Joe, I didn't have these same pants on for goddamn too much.
Starting point is 00:43:16 You think I'm going to spend 10K? at the casino? Hey, we're going to hit them. Hey, me, you and Joe, go go to the crap table. It's just going to be us at the crap table by ourselves. Nah. Hey, we're betting all the points.
Starting point is 00:43:29 I'm going to be on the dice. Because you know, the common snake I will. I call the dice when they start rolling. Hey, hey, and Joe, you know if they know, if they know we're coming, if they hear we coming, they're going to fix the table so we walk out of it. Oh, man. Come on.
Starting point is 00:43:42 They're going to fix the table. They don't know we're coming. Huh? They don't know we coming. I bring my cash. We bring it to it. I bring my own cash. Hey, change them out for chips.
Starting point is 00:43:53 Or you can say, hey, money plays. Hey, that's not a good idea. That's not a good idea. They say the house never loses. That's what I heard. Hey, you want two-month TV, Ojo. No, yeah, I saw the gamble. Wait, well, I saw the gambler.
Starting point is 00:44:08 Hey, you saw the game, Smith. Ha! Yeah, I've seen the gambler. I see him. With Mark Warbur? I don't want that to be me. I don't want that to be me. You don't know when to stop.
Starting point is 00:44:22 Now you're owing people money because you're trying to get yourself out of debt and get out the hole. I don't want to get beat up because I owe the shark. No, no, no, no. Hey, you see a, what you call him, Matt Damon and Rounders, right?
Starting point is 00:44:35 Ooh. It's Teddy KGB? He ain't seen that. He can't know anything about that. Nah, what movie is that? What's that? It's a gambling movie. What's the name of?
Starting point is 00:44:44 Teddy KG. I'm Dylan Playfair. And I'm Tyler Smith. Starting point is 00:47:08 It is. It is. Matt Damon and Edward Norton. Yeah, I like Matt Damon. Matt Damon. He's hard. But, yeah, we come on out here. Let's get this.
Starting point is 00:47:21 Jalen Brown says, I feel like I'm the best two-way player in the world. Joe, do you agree? Is he the best two-way player in the world? Right now, yeah. I'm going to say, yeah. Okay, Ocho. He makes it a point to, you know, own his matchup, night in and night out.
Starting point is 00:47:38 And not only that, not only is he, you know, on it on defense, but offensively, he's following it up with 30 a night, man. Yep. I think he's playing extremely great basketball and rightfully so. He's in the MVP conversation. Man, there's still a lot of basketball left. Uncan Ocho, he'll dark horse in this thing now. He's a dark horse in it.
Starting point is 00:48:02 Yeah, I definitely think. Look, I always thought he was supremely athletic. The bounce that he has, he's worked on his game. You can tell that he's worked on his game. The out shot, side shot is a little bit more consistent. Now the three ball is more consistent. He always had the ability, you know, sometimes he get a little loose with his handles. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:20 But he's always had the ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the right. Absolutely. athleticism and you go back and look at when they won the championship, he took it, he took it serious. He took Luca. He said, no, I got Luca. 94 feet. He did a tumble. Yeah. A. 94 feet. That's his job. His job, pick you up, weigh you down so in the fourth quarter you ain't got no gas and he's still going up. And that's how he's been playing, man. Kudos to Jalen Brown, bro. He's been fun to watch this year. It's actually been fun to watch the Celtics, just their whole team. It ain't just been just been
Starting point is 00:48:53 been him, okay, Ocho. He got other guys who don't step up and they've been playing with. Oh, yeah, Houser and Derek White. Houser, Ms. White. They got a big, they got a big down now, the, uh, the big dude who been, who were beating stuff up last night. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, man. I know, yeah. They got an, and Vucevich, like I'm saying, the more comfortable, the more comfortable he'd get, the better off they're going to be, they're going to be right there fighting it in the thick of things in the Eastern Conference. Yeah, yeah. You know, a, hey, J.B. don't cut his hair. He ain't fooling nobody. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:24 You don't let that base. You don't let that base you ain't go. That's empty. Hey, he didn't, you know, honestly, Uncle, Joe, you know, J.B. I took it real serious. Obviously, with all the stuff, talk, a while to talk about, you know, J.T. going down and how the Celtics weren't going to be the same.
Starting point is 00:49:39 And he took all that talk personal because basically, y'all telling me, I can't carry no franchise. Y'all are telling me, you know, J.T. is the better player of the tool, you know? So let me, let me get out here and show y'all. I already had to deal with the bull crap when it came to the goddamn Olympics. Now you're saying I can't carry a franchise, man, hold my beer. Right. Watch this.
Starting point is 00:50:00 Right. He's been showing up, he's been showing out, showing up and showing out ever since. You're absolutely right, Ocho. He's taking the challenge every night on both ends of the floor. Yes. And he's done it at a very, very high level. And man, I'm talking about every night he wins his matchup. Okay, Ocho, he wins his matchup every night, which gives him a great chance to win.
Starting point is 00:50:21 Yeah. Hey, Joe, how tall is, J.B? He bought six, five, six, six. That's it? Yeah. I thought he was calling now. I thought he bought your height, Joe. Yeah, he about six, about six, about six, oh.
Starting point is 00:50:34 Joe, how's how tall you with it, Joe? I'm about six, eight. Yeah, I like, I like me, yeah, I like me going right round you, boy. Go right round who? Huh? Hey, one thing I could do is Slide Dty Pubbers, Ojo. Where I'm from, if you couldn't play defense home, boy, you couldn't get out there on the court. I'm trying to tell you.
Starting point is 00:50:50 You hear me? Yeah. Joe, if you can't slide no more, man. Do your electric slide day is over, Joe? Who? Back in the day, the ledger slide? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, hey, Joe.
Starting point is 00:51:03 I know you can slide one way. I mean, how fast can you get back, you know, with your ladder of movement, Joe? Man, first off, your hand ain't like that to be moving nobody side to side while you're talking about some. Man, stop it. Stop, stop. How you know, Joe? He got to cut it out, old Joe. Stop the cap, bro.
Starting point is 00:51:20 What are going to play, Joe? I'm sick of this shit. Well, I told you when we're going to play. We're going to line it up. Hey, you in Atlanta? Yeah, I'm here right now. What's going on? Hey, listen, are you prepared to play right now?
Starting point is 00:51:30 Because I can fly down for the week and chill. I told you, man, you got, can you get me at least to April? Hey, he's scared. Hey, oh, I got these spook. I got these spook. Hey, Joe, you scared, Joe? I just need to April, bro. Can I have to April?
Starting point is 00:51:45 Can I have to April? Give me about four more week. Listen to, too. Let me to me to me. Whatever you can do in April you could do right now, boy? that, boy. Them two months safe to help you, my boy? Not with me.
Starting point is 00:51:54 Not with me. I'll tell you, boy, your knees going to buckle, boy. Huh? Oh, Joe. Ocho, we already know you, the big capo, man. Everybody know that, bro. Everybody know that? Hey, Joe, one thing I do is I compete, Joe, and everything I do, Joe.
Starting point is 00:52:08 And, hey, I'm going to compete and I'm going to show up. Well, you didn't compete with the All-Star game, uh, Ocho. Huh? In that big three All-Star game. What about it? Listen, that's what Joe was asking me. Let me take you something.
Starting point is 00:52:23 I keep tired. I told you all the million times in that big three, I ain't messing up nobody money, especially that much money in them boys bedding. I let them take care of their thing and got my ass out of the way because I ain't paying nobody $20,000 to get in the way and show I can motherfucking hoop.
Starting point is 00:52:37 Excuse me language. Sorry about that. But Joe, boy, boy, your ass grass, boy. Heavy is the crown, right? We'll see who be wearing it after we've done. J.B. came in a Sunday game, averaging a career high, 29 points a game, seven rebounds, almost five assists. He showed up. He had 32.
Starting point is 00:52:56 Peyton Pritchard had 30, and they roll the Lakers. What your Lakers going to do, huh? Nothing. They can't play defense. They can't guard anybody. You know they couldn't play defense last year? Yeah, they still can't. They can't.
Starting point is 00:53:11 They can't rebound? They can't. They can't keep nobody in front of them. That's why I can't stay in front of nobody. They get beat off the first dribble. Oh, man. Which compromise your defense for the rest of the possession. Once you get beat off the first dribble, you compromise the rest of the possession.
Starting point is 00:53:26 It's a rap. It's a rap. It's a rap. It's a rambling, trying to catch me. It's over with. Somebody going to be open. Yes. Sliding all over the place.
Starting point is 00:53:35 Joe, Kevin and Rand says he would like to play for Team USA when his team suits up in 2028 in LA. Katie said, you guys, the media have projected that narrative. Where did the last damn thing come from? I didn't say that. I wasn't playing. LeBron said he wasn't. You didn't hear that for me.
Starting point is 00:53:51 I've got to stay on top of my game. I'm not expecting. I want to produce on the floor and make grant or whomever is making the decision, want to put me on the team. I don't want to just, not just seniority. I want to still prove I can help the team win. Katie makes the team. He'll be short a couple of, I guess what, a couple of months.
Starting point is 00:54:11 Show I'll turn in 40. Because if LeBron were to play, he'd be 43, and Steph would be 40. You said make the team. What do you mean make the team? No, I'm saying if you were to play, oh, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. Yeah, he's going to, hey man, look, for the love of the game, bro.
Starting point is 00:54:30 Like, the dude loves to play, Uncle Ocho. They can say whatever they want to say about him. He enjoys playing the game, and every time he steps on the floor, you know what you're going to pretty much get from. Now, if he's still healthy at this point, still playing at a high level, Yeah, I would love to see him out there as well playing with some of these young guys to help lead the charge. I mean, every time he's played on the USA team,
Starting point is 00:54:50 whenever it has been, he's always showed up and showed out. Yep. Four gold medals. Yes, sir. I can see it. I can see it. I can see it. What do you'll be 40?
Starting point is 00:55:02 A couple of months shy of 40. Yeah, he'll be able to do it, man. He'll be able to do it. because here's ESPN predicts the 2020 Olympic team Cooper flag Khan Kineppel Jirling Durin, Armin Thompson, Scotty Barnes Cade Cunningham, Anthony Edwards
Starting point is 00:55:22 Edwold, Jalen Williams, Tyrese Halliburton Bam out of bail, Jason Tatum I don't know Joe I don't know that team bringing the gold back I like Cade and AE at the 1 and 2 I like I ain't going to lie, boy, I like Khan Knieppel. I ain't going to lie.
Starting point is 00:55:41 I ain't going to shadow that rookie three-point record. Oh, I mean, he's going to put, this motho might have 300 threes. Man, listen. Hey, I'm talking about he's shooting a blood out of that ball. You're me? Oh, yeah. He could go, now.
Starting point is 00:55:56 I like the, man, Thompson kid. I like during. I like, I like the scene. I like the scene, Uncle, what you don't like about it? Is it the bigs that you don't like? Got the big. Who's going to do something with Yoke? Who gonna do so with Wimby?
Starting point is 00:56:10 Wee, because BAM gonna need some help down there, him and champ. Yeah, absolutely. Hey, BAM will, and would BAM be considered undersized big? Yes, yeah. Like a tweeter almost, like Power 4, Center, you can play both. Yeah, he like a hybrid, because he can handle the ball, Ocho, he can initiate the offense, you know, he can pass, he can play, he can do a little bit of everything. Bam like a little wild card.
Starting point is 00:56:32 I like having BAM in there. Yeah, but, but, what, eh, who is the big in general? That can go in. We ain't really got no big Americans. Yeah. Nah, not no bigs who can guard. Not no traditional bigs. Right.
Starting point is 00:56:45 Stretches. That's what champions. A traditional big wouldn't work in today's game anyway. Well, obviously, you got to have somebody that can bang with yoke. Okay, okay. You've got to be able to bang with him. You've got to be able to keep him off the glass. You've got to make him work on the offensive end.
Starting point is 00:57:01 Right. Because he's going to get his. And the problem that you have with him is that he gets everybody else involved. Hey, Tatea might say damn that. Yeah, y'all ain't played me like, he might say damn. Hey, hey, Joe, I see a name that they don't hear, average of 29 parts of the game,
Starting point is 00:57:18 and then the MVP discussion. Jaylor Brown said, kick rocks. You say, first of all, he said, yeah, how they don't have them on here? That's crazy. He said, B, HPD, disrespect to being closed by Vietnam. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:57:38 That's crazy. I can see KD playing. I don't think Steph was. I think that was Steph was all in on that one. Steph said, look, this is my first and last. I'd have brought the family to Paris. Hey, we're good. We got the gold medal.
Starting point is 00:57:50 I'm good. Hey, and the performance that Steph put on? Shoot. I wouldn't go back. You'll never forget that. Yeah, I wouldn't go. That's the greatest Olympic, that's the greatest Olympic in a game ever. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:01 That was classic. Man, listen. I wouldn't go back and mess with that. I wouldn't go back and mess with that. I wouldn't go back and mess with that. I wouldn't go back and mess with that. I wouldn't know Joe. And when he shot that, I mean, he shot that thing, man.
Starting point is 00:58:15 And he just, that way, way. I'm like, God. Hey, hey, he shot that thing with somebody not only draped on it, but he had Katie and LeBron to his left wide over. Mm-hmm. He didn't know. I don't. He's not a word about, I got this. He said, hey, he said,
Starting point is 00:58:31 if y'all wanted to shoot it, y'all have never passed it to me. Because you're not getting it back. Right. Hey, I said, what? Oh my God, they put on the performance, boy. Hey, man, because you know, hey, man, you know everybody's looking at their chops on us, Joe and Ocho. Man, you know, Canada want to try to get their lick in.
Starting point is 00:58:49 The serve want to get their lick in. Greece with Yonis want to try to get a lick in. Slovenia with, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, Luca. Yeah. And listen, they, they, they're waiting too. Hey, and Germany. Remember Germany to beat them in Fibo a couple of years ago. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:08 A little Shroder. Shroda, he's a different player. Oh, yeah. He's nice. Yeah. Oh, yeah. They got their work cut out for him. Because they got a big target on their back.
Starting point is 00:59:19 Big target. I don't know. Maybe, maybe Joel and B. to be healthy enough to want to play. No. Hey, listen, I give Joel and B. my knees, man. If I can give him my knees, man, just to get him healthy, get him running up and down that court, man,
Starting point is 00:59:36 and doing what he could do for the Olympics. He could take my knees, man. And then, you know, French, the French definitely won't. Wimby, Wembe said he already, he's already looking at 28. You hear me? Wemby said he already, after they thought he said, I'm looking to get my lick back in 28.
Starting point is 00:59:51 Yeah. Yeah, it's going to be a good one, man. The world has caught up to us, fellas. In basketball. Yeah, from a talent, talent perspective. They ain't scared no more, Uncle Ocho. They ain't scared. Playing under those rules?
Starting point is 01:00:06 Playing under those rules, those feeble rules? Yeah, it's a whole different game. They could knock the ball out the rim and all kind of foolishness. Yeah, it's going to be a tough one for us. We'll pull it out, though. Speaking of that, Kevin Iran also spoke about the narrative that the world is catching up the team USA. Katie says, all I hear is AAU is destroying the game.
Starting point is 01:00:27 The Euros do it right, while the Americans do it wrong. It's a lot of bulljive with that. I can read between the lines. It's a shot at black Americans. We're controlling the sport. They're tired of us controlling the sports. France is coming for y'all. Man, we smack them boys.
Starting point is 01:00:42 Right. Man, Katie, you got to come back to now. Yeah. Hey, I like the energy. I like the energy, fellas. Hey, listen, because I'm with him on that. Man, listen, we, we the best. I think, has the world caught up?
Starting point is 01:00:55 Yeah, but I think guys have kind of got a little bored with this for whatever reason. But we got, we got to get back to dominate, man. We got to get back to dominating, fellas. I'm saying from top to bottom, it ain't no teams better than us from top to bottom. Okay, Ocho. No. but when they first started, they might have had four or five players in the NBA.
Starting point is 01:01:13 Every team that sends somebody to the Olympics, they got NBA players. Yeah, you're right. So that's the difference between now. No, nobody has the depth that we have. It's just like the American sprinters. Nobody have the depth when it comes to 100 meter sprinting, 200 meter sprinting, 400 meter sprinting.
Starting point is 01:01:32 And nobody got that depth. Right. But they got a couple. Yeah. I mean, you heard what you just said? A couple. I don't think they have enough. But, Ocho, but here's the thing. When they played in 92, you couldn't find a foreigner in the top 25. Right. The top seven, eight players in the NBA currently are foreigners. Foreigners, yeah. I mean, the game, the game is evolved. They have evolved in general. You know, they've gotten better. Whatever it is that they do in their ecosystem and having kids go through whatever type of train they do,
Starting point is 01:02:08 Now you have more players in the NBA that are foreigners. But I still think as a whole, collectively as a group, they will never be able to dominate us, especially at said craft, especially in Olympics. Yeah, well, they don't beat us before. So once you get beat, once you get beat, it's hard to keep them wolves off. Once them hyenas found out they could take down to Cape Buffalo,
Starting point is 01:02:37 it's hard to protect them cats. It's hard, man. Hey, them boy, them group of names you just put up, even though we ain't got no big, they ain't letting us down. I shall hope you right, don't you? That means your perimeter, your perimeter guys got to be light.
Starting point is 01:02:55 They got to be on point. They got to be on point. They got to be on point. I like that, no, that con can'tipple for the simple fact he can shoot three. You got to have somebody that can be a knockdown three. You got to have a couple of those guys. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:10 Because you're going to have guys who can go off the bounce, who can create opportunities for other guys, and you just want them other guys like Khan Knieple to be able to knock down shots. Man, I watched him play Ocho Khan Knapple. He only really looked like no NBA player. But when I'm talking about getting it done, oh, my God. The boy out there getting it done, Ocho.
Starting point is 01:03:30 Every time you look in the box goal, he got 20, 27 points. Like, I'm talking about shooting him, man. Ready for a different take on Formula One?
