Y'all know who I am.
Hey, we got a game seven.
We got a game seven.
Wimby.
Coach Johnson said 15 shots is not enough.
I think he got up 17, 18 in the first half, Joe.
And that was the difference in the ball game.
He came out aggressive.
They played extremely, extremely well tonight.
I still think they took some shots too early in the shot clock.
Joe, I mean, Wimby pulling up threes with 19 seconds on the shot clock.
I'm like, Wimby, we don't need that.
But I guess he was feeling it.
But we have a game seven on Saturday night and the winner.
One game, winner takes all, goes to the NBA finals to take on the New York Knicks.

The Spurs beat the Thunder,
118 to 91.
Players with 18 blocks in a Western Conference final since 2000.
Shaq, Tim Duncan, Victor Wimbignama.
Shack, Tim Duncan, Victor Wimbi Yama.
Plus minus in game six.
Shade was a minus 28.
Isaiah Hartinstein was a minus 25.
I thought the difference in the night, Joe,
it was the way the Spurs started
and they didn't let off the gas.
Every time, every time OKC tried to make a move,
they had a counter to the move.
This is not, we're not going to let this happen today.
We're going back, excuse me,
we're going back to OKC for game seven.
Yes, sir.
You better play your best because we're going to be absolutely at our best.
I thought the difference was Wemby.
And Joe, we talked about this.
I say, Joe, as much as I love his defense,
offensively is where Wimby is the difference.
Yep.
When he scores, they're unbeatable.
Unbeatable.
They're unbeatable.
When he gets off to the start, that great start, you go look at him.
Now, game one was an anomaly where he only had 14 and then he goes craved in the second half.
But if you go back and look at the game, that he gets 17, 18 in the first half.
I think he had 19 in the first half tonight.
It's hard.
It's hard to deal with him.
Go ahead, Ocho.
And Unk and Joe, I'm glad both of y'all are agreeing.
seeing exactly what I could see before the goddamn, excuse me, before the series started.
I told you that Wimby will be the deciding factor on whether this year we just won by the
spurs or not, but y'all didn't listen.
Y'all went with the MVP two-time at that, so I understand why you picked the team that
is previously coming off for championship.
But Wimby being the deciding factor, I don't know who got in his ear, I don't know who talked
to him.
They said 14 shots, that's not enough.
We need you to go out here and be aggressive.
He was aggressive from the beginning of the game.
Everyone else came along as well.
He put the ball on the floor.
Hey, Joe, he getting to the rack.
He's shooting floaters.
Yeah, yeah.
He got a nice little touch on it.
He getting the ball on the elbow.
Okay, you're going to back off me a little bit?
Don't worry about it.
I'm just hitting this meeting on you.
And he was falling from the three.
Yeah.
Everything is working for him tonight.
Obviously, he was doing it on the deepest end as well,
which is one of the reasons in which they won
tonight's game. Also, before you go, Joe, if you look at, look at where he was getting the
ball night. He was getting that ball a lot closer to the rim tonight than constantly sitting up
at the three point line and getting it out there and trying to make a move. He did,
and he was a lot more decisive. You see, he one spin, he to the rim. He tried to lay it up
with his left hand. Go ahead, Joe. He, uh, when being yarmour, obviously, he's a catalyst, fellas,
to everything the spurs do. I mean, if he plays great, like you said, you're right. They
hard as hell to be, bro.
And if he's scoring a ball, you know, in that first
quarter, he made three threes
in that first quarter. I said, it's going to open
up his game. Because, you know, when he's making those
shots, you have to be honest. Now he
can, you know, pump fake, get in the lane,
shoot his floater, spray out for
three, things, and that's such. But it
got him going. As we heard
Ms. Johnson say last game, 15 shots
won enough. I thought he was so
assertive, bro. I thought he was so determined
to put his stamp on the game.
in the first quarter.
And once he gets going, it opens up the floor for all these other guys.
Everybody.
Look at Castle.
Castle, five for ten.
He only had one turnover tonight, 17 points, five results, kind of assists.
Then you look at Dylan Harper.
You look at Dylan Harper, you know, super efficient.
If all three, if those three guys play well, I know Fox didn't play well,
but if those three guys play well, Castle, Harper, and Wembe, Yammer,
bro, they're going to be tough to beat.
But they're at home.
We expect for them to play well.
Like I said, I didn't think it was nowhere in hell OKC was going to San Antonio
and winning game six, bro.
You know, they just were the more desperate team understanding what was at stake.
Man, you weren't going to be able to come in there and get no win.
No.
And they, and I love the way the aggressiveness they played tonight.
They rebounded the basketball tonight.
They challenged every shot.
They got every loose ball, the 50-50 ball.
That 85% that went to OKC.
tonight it went to San Antonio.
And that's the type of effort
you're going to have to take on the road.
And you see the difference, Joe?
You see the difference
when every time Shane look at somebody,
they blow the whistle.
You see this?
Yeah, yeah.
You see the difference.
When he's shooting three, four free throws.
Now, he's still, hell, he's going to fall.
He's going to shoot a shot and fall.
Yeah.
If I didn't know about hell,
I thought the snipers had got it.
I was like, yeah, bro, can you stay up?
Why you keep falling every time you shoot the ball?
He's like one of them fainting goats.
I'm like, what, damn.
And look at this.
They are, how many free throws?
12 free throws tonight.
They were level to 12, 92%.
The other team,
if you can keep them off the line,
and they don't call every time
because Shay's going to sell everything.
Yeah.
Say he has a store that sells everything.
He doesn't have a, hey, all I sell is veggies.
All I sell is couches.
All I sell, that joke was sell auto parts.
He sell couches.
He sells veggies.
He sells veggies.
It doesn't matter.
But notice the math.
Notice the night, Uncle Joe, as physical as the game was,
the ref held the whistle a little bit.
The ref had the boys play balls tonight.
The game of basketball is physical.
The game of basketball in the playoffs is even that much more physical.
Now we've seen the ref, you know, be a little, be a little whissy, whistle happy.
Tonight, he letting the boys play until the files were egregious and you have no choice but to call it.
Hey, hey, and you got to get San Antonio.
A lot of credit, bro.
They never let none of them O KC guys get into a rhythm.
No.
You know what I mean?
Hey, hey, them boys guard and they physical.
Like I said, man, you, you, they came home,
did what they were supposed to do.
Y'all ain't coming up in here and getting no damn win.
No, you're not celebrating on our court.
Oh, no sir.
No sir.
It won't happen today.
It was, man, that was, that was a thing,
that was a thing of beauty to watch.
It was really a thing of beauty to watch.
I thought the guys played extremely well.
Yeah, you're right, Joe, Fox did not have the greatest offensive game,
but if you look at everybody else.
And what we say the difference was,
Wimby has to cancel out those two Bs.
Yep.
10 points for Hardinstein, 10 points for Chet,
16 rebounds.
Wemby, 28 points, 10 rebounds.
Yeah.
Not everybody else we can play.
Yeah.
I've taken out.
You two guys, I've taken them.
Okay.
Vassel, Vassel, Marper, your guys are responsible for Chet and the next two guys.
Yeah.
Hey, if I'm the head coach for OKC, just like Mitch said that Wimbi and Yama, 15, 15 shot of
Tim's one and no.
Yes, sir.
Man, check home, we got.
He had eight shot of Tim's fellas, four for eight.
I mean, damn.
He ain't even looking at the basket.
When Whimmy on him, he ain't think about no damn basket.
He ain't, bro.
You got to go at that man, bro.
You got to go, look.
So you're trying to get embarrassed, Joe.
You think you sleep.
That man throw the ball up in the stand,
and then you're going to come over here to my,
hey, uh, Ocho, you saw what Wimby did in the chat.
Man, listen, bro.
Yeah.
Hey, somebody got to come along, bro,
and assert themselves, man.
But, hey, I felt it would be a lopsided win.
I mean, San Antonio, they just understand.
I know they're a young team,
But being at home, they've been probably the second best team all year.
And bro, this game seven is going to be a dog fight.
Oh, it is.
Yeah, listen, it's going to be a dog fight.
And obviously, I'm sure you, I mean, with you both of you,
obviously picking the Thunder to win this series,
can the spurs mustered up one more time?
Can we get it aggressive, aggressive,
whimping yama on both sides of the court,
offensively, defensively, can he continue to move,
being able to play off the ball,
being able to get the ball where he wants to on the on the elbow down in the block with
Shet being as ineffective as he is offensively and not asserting himself in the game we
if we can hold Shay to another game like he did tonight where he really wasn't much of a fact
on the offense end he's really never a fact to Ocho it's the free throw you go back to
what is Chet what is Shay shooting in this oh cho he probably shooting 40% yeah or got his shot
53% so they're holding you
somewhere between 13 and 15% of what he average in the regular season.
They're doing an unbelievable job, but it's just hard to keep somebody under 20 points
when they go to the free throw line 17 times.
Yeah, yeah.
Because he makes 14, 15 them, that's 15 points.
He is hard to keep him from making at least six shots because he's going to get the ball
up somewhere between 18 and 24 times in the game.
So if he just makes six of those plus another 14, 15 points in the free throw line,
That's 27 right there.
He makes eight of those.
That's 30.
He's shooting less than 40% from the floor.
He's shooting 39%.
Oh, my goodness.
Hey, but you got to understand
OKC, they're going to play a lot better at home.
You know, the thing for San Antonio, bro,
if they make shots, hell, they're hard to beat.
But, you know, when you go into them low,
especially on the road and you got Champanyam and Vaseel
who don't, you know, shoot the ball as great,
Yeah.
And you need Winbynial to be heroic.
It's just, it's a lot, bro, on the road.
You know, that's the thing.
If they're making shots, they're a damn good team.
But if they ain't making shots, Arkansas, Ocho, on the road,
it's going to be hard to win, bro.
The question is, the problem that they have is that the spurs are going to have to suppress those runs.
They cannot let them score 60 points in the half.
They can't let them get to the 60, 65, Joe.
That's too much.
That's too much.
Look at the game.
I mean, there's been a couple of games.
they held them under 100.
They got 94,
we got 91 tonight.
What did they get the other night?
They got what,
82, 83?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But it's because they had them in the 40s,
the 50s.
Yeah.
If we keep,
the other night,
they had them at 30,
one,
before Wimby hit that a half court shot.
He had 38 points at the half.
Tonight,
what they have?
50,
what did, like,
what,
okay, C having to have.
Maybe 50?
Yeah.
53 to 60, something like that.
You got to, but see, they run into a problem.
You start letting them get 60, 65, touching that 70.
Yeah.
Nah, that's too many.
They don't get, now they don't got into a rhythm.
And again, it's still a make-a-miss lead, Joe.
It is.
Those guys had some of the same shots that they were knocking down the other night.
They missed.
Yeah.
They missed.
That's why.
And that's what you're going to have to have.
You're going to have to have play outstanding defense,
but you're going to have some of those guys miss some of those.
shots that they made in games, uh, five.
Same thing with the spurs.
Some of the shots that they missed the other night,
they knocked down tonight.
Yeah.
Wimby, 10 rebounds.
Look, I'll give OKC credit.
They're doing a great job keeping them off the glass, Joe.
Yes, sir.
If you think about it, now, they're fighting him,
putting the body on his ass.
They get a lot of hole.
Hey, you see the referee.
No, we got to stay here.
Man, let the man go.
Damn.
Hey, you know, you know, you know,
plays a big factor too, not joke.
What's that?
You know, you see how the rest wave
as a whole of whistle
letting them boys play ball tonight.
That's going to be key.
When they go back to OKC,
I think the reps are going to play a big factor.
They always do.
The refs are going to play a big factor,
especially with Shea not getting
some of the calls he won tonight.
You know, some of the failing in the shot,
some of the shot selections that he did have tonight
and he was probably looking for a foul
and it wasn't called.
Those are going to be called
once they're playing back at home.
So the rest are going to be a factor in this game.
And I'm hoping, I'm hoping the spurs can do what they can defensively
and try to contain him as much as they can.
If you can't contain him, obviously he's going to make his shots.
He's going to get to the free throw line.
Obviously, playing at home.
Can you contain everybody else?
Well, you'll know early on, Joe, how they're going to call the game.
Yeah.
And then you're going to have to adjust accordingly.
You can't, hey, they're calling it early.
You can't get mad in the second, in the second half,
that they're calling it the same way in the second half
that they did in the first half.
You're going to have to adjust.
And look, I'm going to make them call.
Look, if I'm Coach Johnson, I'm telling them, look, guys,
I want you to be aggressive.
Play your game.
We're going to see, let's see how they call the game.
Let's make them call a couple of them
before we back off a little.
Yeah.
But until they call it,
you got to be physical.
Look, hey, everybody for the spurs was a plus tonight.
Nobody had a man.
Everybody.
Everybody for O KC here was a negative.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
And hell, they would have shot.
If Fox doesn't go one for nine, hell, they might shoot, Joe, they might shoot over 50% because you got four of eight.
Wemby was a tick under 50% 10 or 21.
You got four, seven, five of ten, two of four, two or three, one of two, four of seven, one of two, six of nine.
So like I said, and Cornette gave us a little, gave us a couple of rebounds tonight.
Yeah, he did.
And I rebounding tonight, Joe.
No, they didn't.
They didn't.
But you know what I love Joe?
Them joke is clashing the board.
So you see O'KC, they try to get Tim.
Bam!
Uh-uh!
No, no, you get nothing cheap.
Nothing cheap tonight, baby.
Hey, them boys, athletic, man, for San Antonio.
My thing, Uncle, Ojo, can they duplicate a performance like this on the road, bro,
in a game seven?
I'm not sure.
You know, I think Wembe can be great.
But due to him getting off to such a hot shoot,
and start, you know, I think he kind of opened up the, open up the game for him and his teammates.
I just don't know if they could duplicate a performance like this on the road, bro.
But I can tell you, Joe.
He'll be fresh, though.
He only played 28 minutes.
You got Champany 25, Wimby 28, Fox 26, Vassel, 26.
Castle played the most men.
I didn't know Castle was from the crib.
You didn't know that?
Yeah, he's from Newton County.
Yeah, that's why I was telling you.
Yeah, he brought the crib.
That's why I like it.
That's why I like Castle.
Because I was thinking about that last series
when they were playing Minnesota.
Him and the Amman was going at it.
You know, that's a little Georgia thing right there.
But okay.
They definitely got the talent, man.
They actually got the talent, Uncle Ocho,
to win an NBA championship.
I just don't know if they're going to be able to go on OKC
with a game seven and beat them boys.
I don't see that.
Because OKC has been in game sevens before.
That's okay.
They won NBA finals in a game seven.
The Western Conference Finals in a game seven.
They've been there.
They're done that.
They're battle tested.
And sometimes it takes you a year because remember, they were favored to beat the Mavs.
Yeah.
They were a year away.
They come back, learn from what they, the mistakes that they made in the previous year and went through.
Go ahead.

They are just fueling a fire that is really catching. You'll see what I mean. Listen to Rebel Spirit
Season 2 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
What's up, fam, Ms. Isaiah Thomas. And I'm C.J. Toledano, and our podcast Point Game is about
defying the odds.
Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed.
And finding ways to win no matter what.
He's the smartest player to ever play the game.
His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before.
And he knows without Luca and Austin Reeves,
I got to manipulate the game.
We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs.
I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series
because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup,
he has to really guard guys like Nas Reid.
He has to guard Julius Randall.
And then he has to give us everything he gives us on the night-to-night basis on offense.
And when IT's friends stop by, like Quentin Richardson, we dive into some playoff history too.
Steve Nash will get that thing.
That man, hell get the flying.
He run up the court licking his fingers while he got the ball.
Like, after you go through a training camp with that, Isaiah, you figure it out real quick.
Oh, yeah.
Get your ass up and down the court, and you're going to get the ball.
So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Show what you want.
I was going to tell y'all, they're going to go and they're going to do it.
The Spurs are going to win game seven, Joe.
You say you don't know if they can do play what they just did tonight.
I'm telling you ahead of time, they're going to be able to do it.
If you understand the game of basketball, what you should.
I'm ashamed that you.
I'm ashamed to both of you all with the ball knowledge that you guys have over the years.
Joe, you played the game at the highest level.
And the fact that I've proven all of you wrong, all series long, not just his series,
all the previous series before this.
and the fact that I'll
man here he go don't try to get on the bad wagon that
Joe
let me finish let me I'm talking let me finish
y'all get on here you praise the spurs
about the way they played tonight
and then you come right back behind that
after praising the spurs saying
I don't think they can do any game sitting in OKC
well hey Ojo I'm just keeping it 100
brother you know this just just my observation
this is what I see
I didn't think OKC could win
in San Antonio on this game
game six, you know, understanding, you know, Spurs is going to play a lot better at home.
Yes, sir.
Those guys, you look at Champany, you look at Vassil.
Yeah, that's 22 points amongst those two, six threes.
Like, they were making shots.
When they make shots, they're going to be tough as hell to be.
I just don't think they can go in OKC in the game seven and everybody put up a performance like this.
I don't see that.
Even if they don't, Joe, look at the big difference.
Vassell, Castle, nine assists, one turnover.
Yeah.
De Aaron Fox, seven assists, zero turnovers.
Champany, two assists, one turnover.
Dylan Harper, four assists, one turnovers.
Even if they don't score, I just don't want you to turn the ball over
and give them easy buckets in transition and get them into a rhythm.
Yes.
The likelihood, Joe, you're right.
The likelihood of those guys going, let's see, that's nine for 17, that's 13 for 25.
Champany, Vassell, Castle, shot over 50% those three guys.
Those guys made, made six, they made six of 13, six and 15, three.
And then Dylan Harper was tremendous tonight.
Dylan Harper was two or three.
Man.
If they don't turn the ball over, if you go back and look at, uh,
the Spurs, when they get in trouble, they turn the ball over in bunches.
And it's not just, it's not one here and then four or five positions later.
It's a turnover.
It's a turnover.
It's a turnover.
Because they had three in the session in the first half, Joe, like, just like this.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'll say, come on, guys.
Yeah.
Hey, hey, and you got to get OKC credit, man.
Like we've been saying, these are two great defensive team, probably two best
defensive teams in the NBA.
if we just keeping it real.
And I think OKC, obviously,
we know they thrive off turnovers,
but they're going to play a lot better
in this game seven at home, fella.
Yeah.
They're going to play a lot better.
But I think the biggest difference between OKC,
what we saw at OKC tonight and OKC in game seven
is the ability to make those shots.
Man.
That's the thing, Joe.
I mean, come on now.
You, hey, no.
But Shay, Joe, Shay's shooting right now.
He's shooting 38%.
Oh.
He's shooting 38%.
Without the free soes, huh?
Yes.
They got him bottled up, man.
Yes.
Like I told you, man, they making him take and make these tough-ass tools.
And it's just challenging.
And then you see him try to shoot these long threes.
That's just not his game, bro.
No.
You know, his game is getting to his spots, pulling up middies, getting to the rack.
And with San Antonio here with Wimbi, well, Wimbi Yama down there,
you ain't getting to no damn rack.
No.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, you ain't going to be able to shoot your normal shots.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, you got to shoot, you got to put a little more touch on it.
You got to shoot a little farther out.
Like, I think they're doing a great job in playing and guard them.
I'm giving a lot of credit to Castle and the crew who's taking the challenge.
Who's taking the challenge and being like, look, I don't need a whole lot of damn help.
I'm going to keep them in front.
I'm going to challenge them.
I'm going to take tough shots.
And they've done that all series long, bro.
They are a hell of a defensive team.
Look, anytime they're a team.
see Wimby down there.
Everybody, everybody from OKC, when they see Wimby in the paint,
they have a John Q moment.
They have a change of heart.
Hey, I'm going to the real.
Ah, no, I'm good.
Come on.
Hey, everybody going home.
Hey, when Wimby go out, they see Cornyette.
Come on, guys.
Come on, come on.
Come on.
Let's go.
They see Wimby.
Slow it down.
Yes, sir.
Because that ain't what you want.
No, no.
No.
No.
I mean, they do a great job of trying to shield him off.
You know, they try to block him off when somebody's trying to drive the ball so he can't get to it.
But if he, when he slips around, hey, you're going to sit it right into the stands.
They throw it right back out.
He too much, bro.
He too much.
He is the human cheat hole.
And when he has it going, fellas, when he's making shots, knocking down them long threes, getting to the basket, being decisive in his moves,
Okay, Ocho, I ain't gonna lie to you.
They're a hell of a team, bro.
They're a hell of a team.
But I thought sometime tonight, Joe,
they had him bottled up and they helped a little bit too much.
And he kicked for an open three.
It's okay.
Look, if he's going to make those tough shots,
I understand our defense is set up when there's an opportunity,
he comes close, let's, you know, let's double him.
But there are some situation like that where he ain't have it going.
No.
Let's not over.
Because sometimes you could overreact.
Yeah, yeah.
And I thought tonight there were a couple of occasions, not many,
because I thought San Antonio was exemplary tonight.
Yeah.
But I did think there were a couple occasions just watching the game, Joe,
that they're overreacting, and he was able to kick for some wide open threes.
Yeah, I agree, I agree.
And the difference is on the road three and at home three,
the crowd is going to go crazy.
Man.
That crowd is going to be in a frenzy.
Yeah.
And teams feed off that.
They feed off that.
Yeah.
And the question is, when they start to go and they go on a little run,
they go on a 5-0-0-run, they're going to a 7-0-0-run,
can you remain calm?
You're right, right.
Can you remain calm and be unbothered?
Yeah, yeah.
Hey, y'all going to be real upset.
But when game 7, huh?
When game 7?
Saturday.
Saturday?
Saturday.
Y'all going to be mad.
Let me tell you how good Saturday going to be, though.
Huh?
You hear me?
Talk to me.
Saturday.
Not only, let me tell you what we got Saturday.
We got game 7 Saturday, right?
Right? Yes.
Yeah.
We got the fight Foster and Ray 4 Saturday, too.
Now, y'all know that.
I know you in the boxing.
I don't know how much you love boxing.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I watch boxing.
Let me tell you what else we got Saturday.
What's that?
What we got?
We got the Champions League final Saturday, too.
Huh?
We got so much stuff to talk about.
Listen, the icing on the cake.
The icing on the cake is the boxing match.
I like bunk cakes.
The who?
I like bun cakes.
Like B-U-T-T?
Oh, here he's going.
He's, he-go.
He-go.
Hold on.
I promise you.
I promise you, I'm not even playing around.
I've never heard anything called bun cake.
B-U-T-T or B-U-N-T, which one?
That must be something to this out.
That must be something.
I've never heard of that before.
Hey, Joe, you ever heard of a bun cake?
Not his man, chat.
Not his man ain't never heard of a bun cake.
Huh?
No, I ain't never heard of it.
I ain't never heard of it, but I didn't think he was saying butt cake.
I mean, my point exactly.
If you've never heard of it, Bunt cake, the first thing you think is butt because you've heard butt all the time.
It depends on what you in DT, bunt.
Oh, but.
Hey, I ain't ever heard of that.
And I don't really like that.
Let me go.
Hey, when you, when you're a big freak, you, you know, you have a tendency to hear.
Yeah, you, yeah, you hear things.
Everything that you hear is basically in a sexual connotation.
There you go.
You're right, Joe.
My bad.
My bad.
I should have been a little bit more specific.
There you go.
Listen,
we were talking about cake,
and you know people refer to that as cake also.
Yeah.
So he was,
my bad,
that's on me,
Chad.
No,
no,
that's on me.
That's on me.
That's an honest mistake on you.
Ain't nothing honest about you.
It's definitely ain't no mistake.
Listen,
you just heard Joe say he'd never heard that as well.
So therefore,
the first thing,
when I hear B,
I think of but.
We already know.
We already know what you're thinking about.
But I just,
I said nothing but no but I said blunt.
Yeah, but it's harmless on my part being that I know.
It ain't nothing harmless about you.
There's no such thing as a bunk cake.
Joe, you said it yourself.
You never heard that.
So but what you mean?
There ain't no such thing as a bun cake.
Me and Joe never heard of it.
Joe, I guarantee you heard you probably just didn't know what it was called.
Just Google bunk cake so you can see what it looks like.
And you can say, yeah, I don't have one of those.
I didn't have a piece of one of those.
If I had some before, I remember the name of it.
I've never heard of it.
No, you wouldn't.
I promise you.
I'm you know what you know what you know what I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm man enough to say
okay what's that like a little pound cake or something yes yes yeah you ain't just say pound cake
man because it's not a normally and you see he's trying to give us the scientific word
okay okay see what I got to deal with just say pound cake because yo he's trying to be
erratically fancy now
they start, do, do drizzle, do drizzle, frosting on a bunch cake.
Most of the time, pound cakes do not.
Bunk cakes, and for the longest time, I don't remember when I was growing up,
ever seeing a bunk cake with frosting, but now they've, you know,
they've come a long way, they add spice it up, they put frosting,
they drizzle frosting on the top of a bunk cake.
Yeah.
But, there you go.
Hey, hey, hey.
Okay, just say, listen, they put drizzle on the top of pound cake.
If you're saying pound cake, I'd be like, yeah, you know what?
My grandma used to love pound cake.
He used to always get pound cake from Publix.
Hey.
Oh.
Hey, when they used to make them pound cakes at the house,
they tell you, don't be stomping and making it.
It make it fall.
And make it fall.
Hey, boy, get your ass somewhere and sit out and go outside.
Man, you make that cake fall as you won't you?
Boy, granted, boy, bear, boy, bear, going to have your ass.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
I know exactly.
I know exactly what you talk.
Talking about Joe.

Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers.
And guess what?
We have some big news.
What's the news?
Huge news.
We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas.
We invented a podcast?
Well, we didn't invent it.
We just contributed to a...
We're the first people to do podcasts.
Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts.
We're starting a trend.
But this one's extra special.
So how do we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys?
I honestly don't remember.
I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
And, well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers.
This is how you guys remember it going down?
Yes.
I have a very different memory of this.
We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast, where people could call in and say, hey, Jonas.
And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast.
But thanks for remembering that, guys.

Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is.
Getting a racist statue removed.
And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is.
Getting a new one put up in its place.
As long as there's a politics of race in America,
there's going to be a politics of remembering the Civil War.
To get to school, I had to go down Robert Lee Boulevard.
Get to the grocery store.
I had to go down Jefferson Davis Parkway.
If you're an historian and you leave out half of what the history is,

This segment is brought to you by Tommy Johns, where comfort is the new power move.
Tonight's power move was by Wemby, who was asked why the spurs are built for big moments.
He responded, I can't answer why.
We just are.
But we ain't done nothing yet.
We did what we needed to do, trusted the game, trusted the basketball gods.
man listen
the boy's special i ain't gonna lie to y'all
i think for me
when he's assertive
and he makes it to where you have to double him
like you say i thought okay c got a little overzealous tonight
and bringing the double too fast sometimes
but he's gonna pick you apart bro he gonna make the right play
he's rarely he's rarely
gonna do something out of character you know yeah we talk about
a lot of them long threes his ass be shooting but
man if he's making them he hey and he got it going
what? It's hard to slow him down.
There ain't nothing hard to sign and check can do.
When he out there dribbling, getting into his rhythm,
it ain't nothing they can do, bro.
But see, Joe, when he sets up a little closer,
it's easier for him to get to the assist.
Because now the double team has to come
because he's much closer to the basket.
And so now he's able to find because he's so tall,
he can pass right corner, left corner,
or when they come from wherever the double team comes,
he knows who's guarding who.
He knows where the double team come.
Now I can find the open guy.
When he's setting up at the three-point line, when he's got a guy on his back and he's 26 feet away, I ain't bringing no damn double-tie.
No.
Hell, no.
No.
No.
I think the closer he is to the basket is better for him because one dribble, hell, he at the rim, fellas.
He ain't got to take no more than one dribble.
All he takes is one power dribble.
He's going to his move, whether it's a spin or he's going to attack his man.
He's at the rim.
You ain't blocking it.
Yeah.
You ain't blocking it, bro.
Did you see him tonight, Joe?
They gave him on the fast break.
That Joe took one dribble at one dribble from the top of the key and shot a little floater.
I'm like what that?
I mean, from the three, he took one dribble from the three point line.
It was at the damn rim.
Hey, you don't see.
I like the floater that he shot in the lane.
You don't see guys that big, bro.
No, who had that type of touch.
He has a nice touch for a guy who's 7-5.
I'm talking about they can virtually do
any and everything on the court.
If he is making shots,
he is impossible to guard.
Impossible.
He is.
And plus the thing is, Joe,
the problem that OKC is having
is that he's resting on defense.
Yeah.
Because nobody will challenge him.
Nope.
Chet don't want,
no.
Chet is not even looking at the damn basket
and Wimby is on it.
He ain't, bro.
He's looking to,
he's looking to handoff.
You're right
You're right
I'm like well damn
John L. Wait
Hey hey he don't want this smoke
What are he supposed to do with that damn boy
That boy slapping that ball back in his face
When he's trying to shoot
Exactly
Exactly
And that is the problem
When you got somebody like that Joe
You can't let him use all his resources
On the offensive end
You've got to zap some of that out of them
It's just hard man
It is.
Like, I agree with you.
And that's why I talk about check a lot,
meaning like if he could make that next step,
OKC would be a dynasty.
But damn, he ain't even,
he's not being assertive enough
to even get him a real fighting chance on the road, bro.
Like, so I hope he takes the initiative in game seven
to come out guns ablazing, going at his man.
Hey, man, this is it.
This is to go back to the finals.
You got to lock in, partner.
And you can lock in all.
all you want. You think the Spurs don't ain't gonna lock in. You think we're not
going to into the into the, into the, into the, into the Thunder's home and, and wipe off
feet on the rug. You don't think that's what's going to happen. You don't think they feel
the same way. I think the thing is that look and I don't want, I'd never diminished winning a
championship, but there've been a lot of teams that's one run in a row. You're trying to be special.
Yeah. You're trying to be thought of as historically great teams. Joe, you got to go back to
back. Yeah. You've got to go. You've got. I mean, obviously the three pieces are so rare. It
It doesn't happen that often.
Yeah.
You got Shaq, you got Shaq and Kobe Lakers, you got Jordan did it twice,
and then you got the Celtics that won eight in a row.
Yeah.
But it doesn't happen often.
That's why you look at, I mean, even the repeat is rare because you have to run the
gauntlet because the last season is so different than this season, and you get injuries.
Yeah.
I mean, and that's the thing is to be able to withstand those injuries.
Hey, and you're the stand.
you have a target on your back.
Everybody, you're going to get everybody's best game.
You know, when you're the champion.
You're the measuring stick, Joe.
That's it.
We're going to see what we stack up against the champs,
and we're going to see what happens.
So I think it's hard, man.
It's hard to go back to back.
Obviously, I think due to the bulls out of it's on your back
and teams chasing you, trying to knock you off your pedestal.
So we'll see if OKC got it, bro.
We'll see what they got game seven.
I'm rooting for them.
Hopefully they come through.
Because you know what I tell them?
Because everybody that you played, you're the measuring stick.
And they say, see, that's the team.
They're the defending champs.
They got the two-time league MVP, and we just beat them.
You see, when we lock in like that,
when we're attended to what we need to tend to,
when we take care of our business,
we can beat anybody in this league.
So you get measured by all of that.
Yeah, yeah.
See, you don't get to have an off game.
You better be on your best behavior
because everybody is looking at it.
at you. They circle that. Oh man, the champs come to town. Yeah. That is the difference from being,
from hunting to being hunted. Yep. Yep. Yeah. Right now, okay, see, they're being hunted. Yeah.
They're no longer hunters. They, they were chased. They were after something last year. Yeah.
And it's hard to stay, it's hard because you got to be on your best behavior every single game.
because you're going to get everybody's best shot.
Everybody, because they measure.
You're the quarterback, the cornerback going against Socho.
Man, if I can get, hey, I get me a couple of PVUs, hey, hey, I get me a pick.
Man, people are going to look at me different.
Hey, I hold Joe to five, ten points up on his average.
Okay, people go, hey, that's how they look at it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Somebody blocked Jordan's shot when Jordan's second year in the league.
he telling his grand kid.
Man, that joke went up to take a shot.
Man, I threw that thing in the stage.
Now, it was just a tip, but you know, hey,
the one thing we're going to do as we start to age,
we're going to add yeast or something.
We're going to make it grow.
Oh, yeah.
Exaggerated.
Exaggerated.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
We, eh, hey, we'll mind embellish and something
and make it sound a whole lot better to really what it was.
Yeah, I planted a pine tree.
But when I tell the story, it's a redwood.
It's Redwood, Joe.
That's damn.
Yeah, yeah.
But my thing is, when I watch San Antonio and watching them in the playoffs,
catching them here and there because I wanted to see Wemby,
when they don't turn the ball over, Joe,
I don't give a damn who they play or where they play.
They are a very, very, very difficult team to beat.
When they turn the ball over, they become very,
very, very average, Joe.
Yep, yeah.
So, and on the road, on the road,
with this young San Antonio team,
I don't know if they're going to duplicate a performance
of where they take care of the ball like this tonight.
I mean, pretty much Foxen had no turnovers.
Castle, y'all know hell, he probably averaging eight, nine turnovers.
He averaged about five a game.
How many turnovers capsule averaging about it?
But he had 20, and then he had another game with 20.
So he's averaging at least.
least five.
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, he's averaging five.
He's had games who's had nine, but what did he have the night?
Yeah, one.
He can repeat this, one more game.
That's all that, that's all it is.
One no, can you protect the game one more time?
Can he protect the ball one more time?
I'm sure, I'm sure everything we're talking about,
coaches in their locker room telling them, fellas, fellas,
even though we're going to their home court in their stadium,
arena, excuse me, it's basketball,
it's called up.
Can we duplicate what we did tonight?
Ain't no pressure.
And I don't like the fact that Unksay, you know,
the Spurs are chasing
the Thunder. I don't like that.
I know the Thunder may be the measuring stick.
And the Spurs ain't paying that no mind.
They already knew coming in.
Man, this is our series.
I told you how I would play out
and it's playing out exactly how I said it was.
Well, listen.
Oh, listen, Joe, the only reason is going to Game 7
because the NBA got bills to pay.
No, no.
No.
That ain't why.
It's going game seven
because you got two teams
battling their ass off.
Very good team.
Yeah, yeah.
But I think home court advantage
will play a major part in this.
Yes, sir.
Yeah, it definitely will.
Definitely will.
I see y'all don't want to.
We'll find out,
is it going to be,
is it going to be Scott Foster?
He can't extend it no more, Joe.
You can only go.
The extender.
Is it going to be
and Beloy?
I don't know, man.
Hey, what, what Tony?
It's going to be Mott.
Tony Brothers can't do it again tonight, huh?
No, Tony, Tony called a ref the other day.
He might, I don't know.
Hey, Zach had it tonight.
I don't know if it's going to be Josh Tivin.
They should be able to choose who they want the ref, man.
Hey, hold on.
The question is, the question is, if you're the New York Knicks,
who do you want to play?
I mean, if you ask them, they're probably going to say it don't matter,
but realistically, who?
Who would you want to play with you to Knicks?
I think all things being equal,
I think they probably say San Antonio.
You think so?
Why?
Because they're young.
They're young.
They beat them in.
They feel they got the recipe.
They blew them out into what you call them.
The NBA Cup.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You think about, you know,
it all come down to matchups, huh?
Yeah.
Down to matchups.
How well can they defend in having to deal with Wimby?
I think they got too big body they can throw at it.
Yeah, I think they would prefer playing the Thunder.
Even though that won't be the team they're playing in the finals,
I think they would prefer.
I think it would be a better matchup for them stylistically.
You know, the Knicks playing and playing the Thunder.
But, I mean, obviously they're going to have to play the Spurs either way.
I just think the Spurs are a different team from the last time
the Knicks played them in that Cup.
You know, obviously, both teams are different here.
I just think.
Yeah.
Knicks are playing extremely well.
I mean,
Joe, last 11 games,
the way they beat the hell out of people, Joe.
I know, man.
We crack jokes about, you know, Atlanta.
Yeah.
But they blew the 76s out.
They blew the Cavaliers out.
They're probably, in the last 11 games,
they probably average margin of victory.
They might be damn near 20 points a game.
You're absolutely right.
Or more.
Yeah, they've been dog walking forward.
Yes.
It ain't even been close.
It's been interesting.
That ain't going to happen in this finals, fellas.
No.
I'm sorry.
When you beat somebody and make them quit,
they beat teams and make them quit.
They made them quit.
Made them just like, you know what?
Damn, we got another 30 minutes.
Let's try to make this look good.
Yeah, because they beat you,
they beat you by committee, bro.
They got a lot of guys, you know,
who chip in and,
been playing great basketball.
Obviously, Brunson has been great.
But I think their whole team has been, you know,
hitting on all cylinders.
Hell, they swept their last two rounds.
Them folks ain't even had no test, hell.
Yes.
I'm glad you should do.
So what you think happened in the finals?
Matter of fact, I'm just going to be honest with you.
With all due respect to the Stunle,
all the respect to the Spurs and how they look, you know,
the series, I mean, Nixon's six.
You hear me?
Oh, man.
I'm telling you right now.
New York City is going to be turned upside down.
I'm telling you ahead of time.
I hope NYPD, I hope the fire department in New York,
they are ready to happen after game six.
Nixon's six.
Now, don't get out here and saying all these excuses on why it happened or what they didn't do
and why the next were able to win.
I'm telling you ahead of time.
If you're a bet man, if you're a bet man, if you're in debt,
you need to make up some money.
Nixon's six.
I don't want you to be right, O.
Joe, I ain't going to lie to you.
Joe, you ain't want me,
Joe, you ain't want me to be right the entire playoffs.
And I've been right the entire time.
And the fact that right now, it doesn't,
oh, Joe, right now the sports book would have the Knicks
that's underdogs versus either team.
That's fine.
The sports book don't know shit.
You hear me?
West, the coffee team, yeah, both teams have home court advantage.
Yeah.
Sports book don't know ball like me.
All I know is they keep bringing in a loss and loss of money.
Yeah. Hello.
Dale, I ain't never seen nobody build a $7 billion house with winners money.
Hey, hey, I'm with you when you're right.
Damn.
Bad Todd Lawson had a hell of a tweet today, guys.
He said, four things I would rather do to be a thunder fan.
Check this out.
Number one, I'd rather play hide and go seek with Jeffrey Darn
and an abandoned Chucky Cheese.
What?
Be a T-moot parachute tester.
I'd rather stick my meat in a blender.
What?
And last but last but last least, he said,
I'd rather look a party, potty, taunt, see that Coachella.
Coachella?
He got a chill.
He got a chill.
He got it.
Would that be a stunter thing?
Good.
He said, y'all some.
Losers.
Hey, is this AI or did he really tweet this out?
It's real.
That man said he'd rather lick a porta toilet seat at Coachella.
Hey, boy, you know how nasty that is at Coachella?
Boy, he might die on the spot.
Damn.
Yeah, I know.
First of all, the table, man, poor the potty, Lord, have mercy.
Oh, man.
But can you imagine that Coachella?
No.
T,000 ass is a...
Oh, man, come on.
Come on.
God, dang.
Everybody that man say that, man.
He said that's what he'd rather do
to be a Thunder fan.
Wow.
What's what his disliking for the Thunder?
He said y'all some losers.
How, no.
Don't get me to start.
I don't know.
I don't know where this ain't come from.
What's high loss and played at, Joe?
He played in Denver.
He played with the Nuggets.
He went to UNC.
What a national championship with the Tar Heels.
Why does he hate the Thunder so much?
I have no idea, Ocho.
It doesn't have a lot of players.
There's a lot of fans.
It got to be a backstory to it.
Not like this.
Not like this.
Where you put this up there?
Come on, man.
You're going to lick a damn Port-a-Potter and Coachella.
Yeah, that's crazy.
Sticky Johnson in a blender.
Come on, man.
Hey.
Joe, while you bulljabbing,
there's some people that hate people worse than that.
Ooh, yeah.
Damn.
Damn. That's crazy.
That's just...
That's not even crazy, joke. That sounds more personal than anything.
I don't know why, though. I don't know why.
Yeah, it's a backstory.
I mean, as long as you don't eat or drink nothing from Jeffrey Dahmer, you're going to be okay.
You draves up, it's...
Good night, Irene.
Hey, he said...
He said it abandoned Chucky Cheese at that.
Yeah, I got what you call him?
I got a, you know,
I got one of the old restaurant-style blenders.
Mm-hmm.
You know, I'm trying to hold on.
You know, I'm trying to hold on to it.
You know?
Yeah.
I ain't going to rise about Tim O. Summers,
so I ain't going to do nothing to harm it.
You don't use it?
Oh, yeah, I use it.
Yeah.
I was talking about, you know, the baby arm, Joe.
Oh, okay, okay.
All right.
I said that, it ain't going to rise by 10 more summers.
I think I got 10 more summers in it.
And he got to pasture.
Oh, I used the blender.
I bought me some collagen protein powder today, Joe.
Oh, did you?
Collegeing good for your aunt.
I know.
Wait, so who?
I know, Ocho don't find no damn collagen.
I used to take a lot of what I played.
Hey, hey, Joe, here y'all.
Y'all, here y'all go talking about stuff.
I don't know nothing about.
First, it was the pill.
Well, you don't know about no buck cake,
so I know you don't know about no damn collagen.
Hold on.
Now, now we talk about collagen.
Now, what does college do for you?
Skin, hair, nails.
Yep.
What are you doing for me?
Skin, hair, nails.
Oh, hey, oh, are you, hey, you know,
my skin nice, now, y' huh?
Hey, I mean, I'm just, I'm just saying,
like, my baby.
She said when she touched my skin,
and she said when she touched my skin,
it feels like, like, like infant.
You know, when you touch a baby,
not soft a baby is.
Yeah, yeah.
That's how my skin is.
I don't know if you're all...
I ain't got no blemishes.
Yeah.
Would you say, oh, it ain't what?
You can't grow no hair, though.
Maybe that's why my skin's so soft
because I can't grow no hair.
It should be.
The follicle should be able to break through.
Oh, no.
It's over the way for that.
Yeah.
That thing said like a road's trying to go through concrete.
Ain't happening.
Honestly, I think I could.
And I told you.
You cannot.
The reason I don't...
We've had this conversation, though.
I know, but I bet me that I couldn't grow no beard.
You're talking about, oh, your man,
your thing, it won't connect.
It's gonna be all splotchy.
I know, I know, but mine is.
Mine grows in pageant, Joe.
When I grow my beard, yeah.
I have to let it grow for three to four months
and it's still patchy.
I don't like the holes when it's not full.
I want it full.
So if anything, if I want to get a beard,
I'd rather get a lace front, you know,
from the barber shop where they put it on.
Yeah.
And, you know, and just put the Beijing on the edges
to make it look like make it look real sharp i don't know i do it i wouldn't trip you know i don't
i want to see i mean you got to treat it just like i mean you got to wash it you got to condition
it you got that's too much that's too much maintenance i ain't got the patience for that i ain't got the
patient for you got that for your face huh oh yeah wash your face you do all that kind of stuff on
your face wait a minute stay stay with me real quick hey uncle let me tell you how easy my facial routine
is all i use is black soap you ever heard a fair and white black soap you ever heard a fair and white black soap
Yeah.
I use fair and white black soap.
I get it out the hood from the beauty supply store,
so when I take a shower, take a shower with my dial bar soap.
Then when I'm done with that, I do my face.
I hit my face, you know, with my fair and white black soap.
That's it.
I'm done.
I heard about black and white cookies.
Come again?
I don't know.
No, heard anything about black and white cookies.
You don't know about fair and white black soap?
I don't.
Yeah, you ain't.
But Joe, all, all you all I do is shampoo and conditioning twice a week.
When you're in the shower, you shampoo it up.
scrub it through, got ya, yeah, got, wash it out, put the condition in there, while you got
the condition in there, soap your body up, yeah.
Woo-woo, woo, woo, woo, come up out of there.
Now put the oil on before you go and you have to do.
Oh, that's about another 30 minutes, man. You didn't hear, you know, everything, everything I just said is,
isn't, one, boom, shower, face, body, and look here, you're in there for 30 minutes,
I mean, you try, you're doing something else other than shower.
I'm just saying the entire routine.
And ain't nothing wrong with that either.
Don't don't put nothing passing now.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
See how y'all going left?
See how y'all going to left field?
What do you mean?
I'm being straight up about my routine,
getting in the shower, getting dressed.
Yeah, we know your routine.
Uh-huh.
We know your routine.
Okay.
Sinked it.
Heard about it.
Don't put nothing past you.
Hey, Ojo, how y'all do today, bro?
Hey, man, we lost the club of America, Joe.
You only play one game?
Huh?
You only play one game today?
We only played one game today, Joe.
Man, they send us home, Joe.
Yeah?
Yeah, they send us home, Joe.
It hurt, Joe.
It hurt.
It hurt.
Hey, check this out.
Hey, Joe, look at the map, Ojo.
Look who America rooting for.
Wow.
Nah, no, no, no.
This ain't real.
Yeah, somebody made that.
Who made that up?
A Thunder fan?
A Denver fan.
No, that ain't real, though.
Just Oklahoma.
Dang the Thunder Joe.
Why, though?
Because they win.
Because it's hard to watch all that damn flopping.
People are trying to watch that flopping.
Hey, don't you see all the complaining about it?
People like James Hardin, but people didn't like watching them play with that file baiting, Joe.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I forgot, I forgot who just wrote somebody's hard to watch.
It's hard to watch,
it's hard to watch Shade
because of the flopping.
Yeah.
I mean, outside of the flopping,
do we understand how good the two-time MVP player is?
It's good.
Yeah, but people look at it.
Ocho, people look at him like,
bro, you're so good.
Why do you got to do all that?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, it's become part of the game, huh?
Joe, it becomes part of the game.
There are very few players
that can manipulate the game like that offensively
to be able to get those calls.
Yeah.
Hey.
Ocho, you remember when Brady was players?
and he'll be begging the official.
And people like, Brady, you're too good.
Why you got to beg the official for a call?
Yeah, my home do that too.
My home do it some time, too.
They fall all live.
Brady would run down the field and be all in the guy's faith
when he went throwing flag.
Yeah, yeah.
But, yeah, I don't think there's a whole lot of people out there
that really, really love OKC.
They're a great team.
Don't take anything away from them.
They got shade, the two-time reigning MVP.
but they're hard to watch.
No, he's hard to watch.
I like watching them.
They play defense.
They play the right way.
They play for one another.
There's nothing not like,
there's nothing to not like about them other than.
Hey.
I had tried to see those guys shoot 15 free throws a game.
I'm just not.
No, none of the time.
The only guy that should have shot 15, three throws a game with Shaq.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But I think when you win so damn much, fellas, y'all know, people get tired of that.
They get tired.
I can see, Joe, if they'd put like three of them things together, they ain't one but one year.
I know, but the fact that Shea is a two-time MVP, you know, and they see how efficient, you know, he's been over the years.
Yes.
They've been comparing him, putting him in the same sentence with Michael Jordan.
They're going to find something wrong with it.
Yeah, got to.
Of course.
Hey, hold on, hold on, Joe.
When Michael Jordan played and he decided to put the ball of flow
and go to the rack, did he feel like that at all?
Yeah, no, he was going over the top of your ass.
No, they snatched his ass out the sky for real.
Yeah, they did.
They did.
But hey, no, no, no, no, no.
When you got file, when they say a hard file,
you got a hard ass, the file that they put on your ass in the 80s and 90s,
those are flagrant ones now.
Yes, sir.
Maybe up two.
No doubt.
It ain't even question.
Yeah.
You get your head kicked out the game.
Oh, yeah.
Defiled somebody like they did back in the day?
Oh, yeah, you're getting a fire.
Yeah.
They're not letting let you do that.
Sure not.
But David Stern understood.
People didn't come to see.
And people are like, oh, man, that's basketball.
No, it wasn't.
Just because you're physical,
that doesn't mean it's a great brand of basketball.
Right, right.
Basketball is supposed to be free moving.
Hey, you ain't, you ain't supposed to be tackling people out there,
clothes lining people, running people,
running people over.
But people have equated that
because that's what they grew up watching
and so they think that is a great brand
of basketball.
Right, right, right.
Just because you're physical.
I disagree, but hey, to each his own,
you like what you like.
Yeah.
But no, Jordan did not fly like that.
Guys didn't flop like that.
Hell no.
Because if you did and you drew a foul on them,
oh, they're going to get something to flop about next time.
Oh, you're going to really get it.
elbow on your damn back.
Yeah.
Because you could touch them, you can touch them back in the day.
You know what I mean?
You can hand check.
You can be physical.
Now, I think with the modern guys today, they know you ain't supposed to put your damn
hands on them.
So every time you touch them, that's why you see them heads go back and you see guys
flailing trying to get the whistle.
Yeah.
Hey, especially, especially the guy.
I mean, you better touch a guy and he jumping, he damn near going up in the stands up
under the basket, Joe.
But I watch women me, they hit, they touch wind me, when me like, I was like, I was
Come on, Wimby.
Yeah, yeah.
You got to sell it.
You got to sell it.
They definitely, they definitely be selling it, Joe.
And I think I think that's what the fans.
The fans don't really like that brand of basketball
because it's hard to argue.
He's, bro, the guy's a two-time MVP.
They ain't a whole lot of, I mean,
there only been, what, 10 back-to-back MVP's?
I think 10.
That's it.
I think you go Russell, Chamberlain.
Corrine
I know Nash
Magic
Bird
Nash
Braun
and ain't
been many Joe
yeah
that's hard
bro
yeah
that's a tough
fee
bro to be
a back-to-back
MVP
in the NBA
like
bro that's
that's
you got to be special
you got to be special
Chamberl
Carine did it
twice
Bird
magic
LeBron. It's been 10, I think.
You look at it up? I think it's been 10.
Why don't I want to say 10?
I think it's been 10.
Hey, hey, Joe.
What's that now?
Boy, you got your colleagues on your side, boy.
What happened?
You know, we had Chris Paul on my soccer podcast today.
We had him on a late run.
Oh, yeah?
Yeah, down here, North Carolina.
Yeah, my guy.
You know, we say he'd be, we obviously,
He's a fan of the show.
Uncle told me to tell you hello.
And the first thing he brought up was me and you going at it about playing one-on-one.
So I asked Chris, you know, I say honestly, you know, when I played Joe, you know, on a scale of one or ten,
what's my chances of scoring, you know, if we're going to 11, me get maybe three to five points.
Man, Chris was like, man, shoot, about zero.
Hey, hey, what day you can, what day you can respect is that he kept it 100 with you?
He damn showed it in life.
Although not only did he keep it 100,
he told me exactly what you were going to do
if you were able to create space.
And the difference in, once you raise up,
and because of your height, I wouldn't be able to get to the ball.
Well, listen, I'm not going to give him no room to move.
He said, well, that's fine.
If you don't get no room to move, he's going to move you himself.
Yeah.
First thing he pulled up was you lowering the shoulders just a little bit,
like hello, dude?
Yeah, yeah.
A little bit of space.
Yeah.
And that's all.
And he said that's all that's it. That's it. Hey, look, look, I'm glad. I'm glad you
done some homework, but that shit ain't going to help you. I hear you. Listen, I've done my home.
You're still too late now, Joe. Oh, hell yeah, it's too late. Hey, hey, let me tell you something.
When I broke down the moves that Joe likes to do based on what side of the court he's own, what
dribbles he likes to do to execute which shot, what his shot selection looks like, depending on where he is,
I'm good.
I'm good because he's going to do the same thing when we play.
I don't study this big three footage.
Okay, boom.
When he had the elbow, this would he like to go.
When he's at the three, this we like to do.
Huh?
Hey, hey, Joe.
Hey, Joe, I'm going to be in your back pocket.
You hear me?
I got a lot of stuff in this bag over there, Ocho.
I'm just telling you.
Hey, one thing about it, regardless of what your toolbox got, huh?
I got the answer for it.
You hear me?
Okay.
All right.
All right.
We missed the most recent ones.
Yonis went back, Shea back to back, Yonis back to back, Yonis back to back, Yonich back to back,
Kim Curry back to back, Braun back to back.
That's five right there.
Damn.
Magic back to back.
Bird won three in a row.
Moses Malone back to back.
Kareen back to back.
Chamberl and Russell.
Boy, that's some good company, man.
Let's go, O'KC.
Game seven, baby.
We're time to rise up.

If a baby is crying in the back seat, they're probably hungry.
But if a baby is sleeping in the back seat, will you remember they're even there?
When you're distracted, stressed, or not usually the one who drives them,
