Aaron Rodgers didn't mince words when he discussed the end of two of an interesting two years in New York describing a tenuous meeting with Jets head coach Aaron Glenn prior to free agency. I figured that I flew across country on my own dime. There was gonna be a conversation.
Starting point is 00:04:48 Rogers alleged that 20 seconds into the sit down with Glenn and new general manager, Darren Moogie, Glenn questioned whether Roger still desired to play. Then he informed that Jets were going in a different direction. Glenn also implied he worried about Roger's potentially undermining the leadership of the team and meetings. And Roger says, I didn't want any part of that. It was already a debacle. Hold on. He said on Pat McAfee's show, because
Starting point is 00:05:17 I wanted to make sure I get this right. He said, Aaron Glenn asked if he wanted to play football. He said, I'm interested. He didn't say, yes, I'm ready to go. I'm fired up. He said, interested in playing. That's all AG and the manager wanted to hear. He also said there's still a possibility of retirement. Nobody is putting up with Aaron Rodgers bull jobs, especially the Jets.
Starting point is 00:05:50 Ocho, if somebody asks you, if Chad, you going for the job, and he's like, hey, would you like to get this job? I'm interested in it. Yeah. A person that wants the job? Oh, I would love to have this job. I'm so excited Thank you for considering me for the position. I'm so happy I'm delighted you're gonna play football use or play you interested. Oh, they go
Starting point is 00:06:17 Yeah, hey listen, I think Aaron Rodgers, you know at this point I think you can see and you know, at this point, I think you can see, and you would think at this point, he would see that the leverage that he's used to having for so many years, It's gone. based on what he's done and all his past accomplishments, it's not working. It's not there. It's not where it used to be. It's not where it's going to be. Especially with Aaron Glenn, who's a former player, who understands what it takes as a head coach now, on what he needs in that locker
Starting point is 00:06:46 room and having the person who's going to be the leader of men offensively you can't be coming in with that kind of attitude and so if you answer like that and it lets him know clearly right away and you know what he's still he's still he's still he's still not ready and he's not ready. Thank you. Thank you. He's not ready. And he's not putting up with that foolishness. What player? Hey, I have a question before you even go. You think if they ask Justin Fields that exact same question, are you answering it in plan? How you think Justin Fields is going to respond? Yes.
Starting point is 00:07:21 You know, fuck it. Oh, my bad, my bad. Hell yeah. I'm going to work down everything I'm willing to do to make sure I do what I can to make sure. That you understand that I'm ready to play and I'm excited to be here. You see, the problem is he said something very interesting.
Starting point is 00:07:37 Y'all called me out. I told you, Ocho. I said, Aaron Rodgers believe his resume is good enough that he doesn't have to audition anymore, that he should just get a job based on his resume. And people, more of my grandpa used to always say, boy, if you're not careful, you'll become the very thing you despise the most in a person. Now look at Brent Favre's situation and how it played out in Green Bay. Yes.
Starting point is 00:08:04 Boom. Look at Aaron Rodgers. Tell me it ain't carbon copy. Brent farm situation and how it played out in Green Bay. Yes, boom. Look at Aaron Rodgers, tell me there ain't carbon copy. One guy won three MVPs, one guy won four MVPs. Brent went to a Super Bowl, won that, went back to next year, we beat him. Aaron Rodgers was one and done, he's never been back. I don't get what he doesn't get. Now, let me tell you what would have happened.
Starting point is 00:08:29 And everybody say, you call me away over here. Had they told him, you see, Aaron, that's the problem, see, what you fail to realize. They did that before. What did it give them? They flew their ass cross country to come see you. Now, this is what would have happened had they called him and tell Aaron Rodgers
Starting point is 00:08:49 they're going in a different direction. The first thing he's gonna say, they didn't have a common courtesy to come tell me to my face. The one thing if y'all guys have noticed, Aaron Rodgers is always the victim in his story. You see how quick he flipped that and put it on the jets. You see how quick he flipped that and put it on the jets. You see how quick he flipped that and put it on Aaron Rogers.
Starting point is 00:09:10 No accountability in this. The way he conducted himself, the way he played is all the jets. The jets were at fault. I did nothing wrong. I did nothing wrong. I'm always a little leery of someone that's always a victim in their story. Ain't nobody else the victim? Ain't nobody else has ever been done wrong in your story. Only you.
Starting point is 00:09:38 But can I say something? One thing about it in chat, I mean, y'all might not believe me, but one thing about a person that's as decorated as him, that has accomplished what he's accomplished and having that past resume, he's still gonna get the opportunity because of it. Yes! He's still going to get an opportunity because- The deal is still holding our hope. Yeah!
Starting point is 00:10:00 Yeah, because you understand what you get in hopes. Even if it doesn't look like the Aaron Rodgers of Green Bay, we hope we get flashes of what we know you can do. And we know with flashes of Aaron Rodgers is better than absolutely nothing. Because we know, you know what? I don't wanna talk about nobody bad. Let me finish it, let me tell you what he said. Aaron also spoke about the hesitation
Starting point is 00:10:24 to make a decision on his NFL future I'm in a different phase of my life. I'm 41 years of age I'm in a serious relationship to make a commitment to a team is a big thing whether you're a first-year player or 20-year vet How how is it a big thing you in the chat? He says a big thing to make a commitment to be on an NFL roster. Either you do or you don't. Look at it. I'll tell you what.
Starting point is 00:10:51 Look at Aaron Donald. Aaron Donald said, I don't want to train like that no more. He said, I've done this. I've done this. The better part, I did it all 10 of my NFL career, all 10 years of my NFL career, and I did it for three, four years of college. I have no desire to train my body to train my mind I'm walking away
Starting point is 00:11:08 To make a commitment to a team is a big thing whether you're first year player or 20 year vet I had a lot of great conversations with a lot of teams Not one of those was the jet because that wasn't a great conversation because you know why? everybody else that you Fiddle around with them. Yeah. Just say we moved on and they told you to your face. See it see you know breaking up over the phone or through an email or text message is one thing but would somebody have the courage to look you in your face until you say no I'm moving on. Yeah. You
Starting point is 00:11:40 could. Hold on. Did I hear a little joke? Yeah you know who made that call huh, you know that you know that call was that ain't from upstairs That's the Aaron Glenn call. That's a G. Yeah But I open to anything and attached to nothing. Oh check this out. He says I'm open to anything attached to nothing So yeah retirement could still be a possibility. But right now my focus is on my personal life I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Now see, when I told y'all all of this, y'all called me everything. You said I had a personal ax to grind.
Starting point is 00:12:12 I've been telling you, go back and look it up. Go back to CBS 20 years ago. Yeah. I don't know, hey, do you understand the leverage you have to have to be, to even use the words in the sentence that he does on if he wants to come back and play? You understand the gauze? You know the balls you got to have to be able to say some of the things you're saying?
Starting point is 00:12:44 When teams are waiting on you, you got you got you holding teams were not teams a team. He hold them hostage They're allowing you see oh Joe. He they're allowing him Now you know what seven eight years ago out allowed him to hold me hostage. Yeah Not now not at 41. Man. You know what? Even at 41, look what else is out there. Again, owners and GMs are basing everything on what he did in the past, especially at
Starting point is 00:13:20 that position. He about to just let it. We count the real facts. What's there to pick from? especially at that position. He about to just let it. What's there to pick from? Think about that. Let's start there. Let's say, okay, you know what? Forget it.
Starting point is 00:13:35 We're going to move on from him. Who was the stealer starting quarterback this year? Uh, Rudolph, right? It makes Rudolph back? No, Kenny Pickett. Kenny Pickett's back, right? If it makes it Rudolph or Kenny Pickett. I think it's Mason Rudolph back? No, Kenny Pickett. Kenny Pickett's back, right? Is it Mason Rudolph or Kenny Pickett? I think it's Mason Rudolph.
Starting point is 00:13:49 But again, now you see, and this is no disrespect to Mason Rudolph. He's been there already. They've seen what he can do. But is Mason Rudolph the answer? They feel, well, we know what Aaron Rodgers can do. We know what he looks like. He might not be the same Aaron Rodgers of old,
Starting point is 00:14:03 but I know he's better than we have. Yeah, they said that about Zach Wilson. And Zach Wilson won more games than Aaron Rodgers. But that ain't none of my business. I don't even know why I brought that up. Oh, oh, but when I said Zach wasn't the issue, okay, but I'm gonna let that go. I don't fault Aaron.
Starting point is 00:14:29 You shouldn't fault anybody. If you stay, if you allow someone to treat you like that and say they treat me so bad, but you have a left. Yeah. Everybody, I told y'all. See, the thing is that people see y'all listen to what he say. I listen to what he don't say. See, that's how that's how psychologists, that's how they analyze a lot of people. I don't worry about what you say.
Starting point is 00:14:54 I worry about what you should have said and what you didn't say. That tells me a lot more about you. Told you. I told y'all Hmm This man they asked him. Did he want to play football? He said he was interested Hold on. Hey, this is not we talk about no flag football. We need to talk about You we talk about NFL teams that are investing millions of dollars in you. You know what?
Starting point is 00:15:29 Do you want to play? Uh, I'm interested. Oh no. I'm a think about it, but I'm interested though. You know, no other player, no other position outside of a quarterback, a decorated quarterback would be able to pull this off. No, no other position outside of a quarterback, a decorated quarterback, would be able to pull this off. No.
Starting point is 00:15:47 No. Goodbye. Nah, he didn't have a great conversation. So what? This is like, oh, you mean to tell me we can't talk you into it? For him to have this kind of this late, bro, we in April, and you still haven't decided your personal life, okay, bro, go live your life. You've earned that right to live your personal life.
Starting point is 00:16:15 You're in a serious relationship. Congratulations. I'm happy for you that you found someone that you want to be with. They understand you. You understand them. And it's a beautiful thing thing I am happy for you but you wasted these people time you wasted these people time and then you mad he mad you see how he put he put the owners on the jet they had a great car bro what's the conversation
Starting point is 00:16:37 Oh Joe I come in talking to my gay. Hey You want this relationship I'm interested. Okay. Thank you Yeah, you already told me what what it is what it's gonna be What about what are we talking about? I got to talk you into being staying in a relationship with me I gotta talk you into being, staying in a relationship with me? Nah. Nah. Hey, I don't, maybe the love for the game is not there like it used to be. Let it go. If it was me, the position if I'm, listen, I'm not Aaron Rodgers and obviously my views
Starting point is 00:17:18 and the way I think about the game of football are completely different. But if it was me, wait a minute minute I get to go to the Steelers a historic franchise won multiple championships damn offensively I get to work with UK Metcalf and my young boy George Pickens well hell we in April but I could have him right now with me wherever I want to be at getting that chemistry going. Learning their timing, learning the rhythm. That's just me. I'm throwing with them boys right now in April just to get acclimated with them.
Starting point is 00:18:04 Does that strike you as something that he would do? Just to get acclimated with him. I'm not even f-ing the game. Does that strike you as something that he would do? My personal life. What about no personal life? What is everybody that's in NFL right now, what are they doing? Everybody doing what? They want to play football, they're training. Come on, man.
Starting point is 00:18:19 Everybody training. Everybody, especially if you're serious about winning or being better. This entire time I haven't felt like I've owed anybody any decision at any point. I'm not holding anybody hostage. When the commitment is made it has to be an all-in type of commitment. I don't think it's fair to the Steelers or anyone else I'm dealing with a lot of off-the-field to it's a lot off the field to make that commitment the people that need to know know That's what I say. He only nobody hostage teams are allowed to be allowing him to do this
Starting point is 00:19:02 I'm moving accordingly You do you we we're going to do us. Hey, listen, oh, you know what? He's moving accordingly and the team he do so as well. Because I've applied that to life. I've applied that to life. You pay attention. You use your eyes because I can see better than I can hear. I can see what Aaron Rodgers is doing, so I'm not even worried about you telling me.
Starting point is 00:19:36 You're telling me you're really not interested in playing. No. So I'm going to move accordingly. Yes, and you should. And that was... I'm going to move accordingly. Yes, and you should. Despite the options at the quarterback position not being anything like you, despite your last two years really not being much, but still we hanging on a whim and a prayer based on what you did in the past. Starting point is 00:21:49 Golden State Warriors have dominated the NBA for over a decade. The Golden State Warriors once again are NBA champions. From the building of the core that included Klay Thompson and Draymond Green to one of the boldest coaching decisions in the history of the sport. I just felt like the biggest thing was to earn the trust of the players and let the players know that we were here to try to help them take the next step,
Starting point is 00:22:13 not tear anything down. Today, the Warriors dynasty remains alive, in large part because of a scrawny six-foot-two hooper who everyone seems to love. For what Steph has done for the game, he's certainly on that like Mount Russmore for guys that have changed it. Come revisit this magical Warriors ride. This is Dubb Dynasty.
Starting point is 00:22:32 The Dubb's Dynasty is still very much alive. Listen to Dubb Dynasty on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And we cover it all, de arriba hasta abajo. Sit down with real game changers in the sports world,
Starting point is 00:23:15 like Miami Dolphins CMO Priscilla Shumate, who is redefining what it means to be a Latina leader. It all changed when I had this guy come to me. He said to me, you know, you're not Latina. First of all, when I had this guy come to me. He said to me, you know, you're not Latina. First of all, what does that mean? My mouth is wide open. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:30 History makers like the Sucar family who became the first Peruvians to win a Grammy. It was a very special moment for us. It's been 15 years for me in this career. Finally, things are starting to shift into a different level. Listen to Hasta Bajo on the iHeart radio app, in this career, finally things are starting to shift into a different level. Listen to Hasta Bajo on the iHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Capital One, founding partner of iHeart Women's Sports.
Starting point is 00:23:55 Music According to WEI in Boston, if Abdul Carter falls to the Patriots at number four, the Eagles could trade AJ Brown to New England to move up to take the star pass rusher. What star pass rusher? Abdul Carter? Yes. Absolutely not. If I'm the Patriots, why would I trade? I mean, look, I want to give Drake May
Starting point is 00:24:29 as many weapons as I possibly can, but you got to be able to attack somebody. What you gonna do with Josh Allen? Tua. Isn't Tua still in that division? Oh, yeah. I guess they could. Ah.
Starting point is 00:25:01 No, I don't like that one. I don't like that one. I don't like that one. I don't like that one at all. And you know what, every time it's smoke it's fire. So it's coming from somewhere. For sure. And they just make that up out of the blue. Ryan Coogler's latest film Sinners just hit theaters today and it's already making waves.
Starting point is 00:25:27 They certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes currently at 98% approval. Coogler reunites with Michael B. Jordan. Michael B. Jordan plays twin brothers Smoke and Stack. This movie gave us horror, history, action, comedy, musical. I don't think I've ever seen a movie like this before Ocho Ocho I've watched the movie. I know you watched it also. Mm-hmm Started out a little slow. Yes, once he got going. Yeah Ryan did his thing on this one. Yeah, he did his thing on this one and I'm not I'm not the biggest
Starting point is 00:26:01 Horror movie horror movie type of a guy. Ochoa, I mean, look, I've seen all the Halloweens and the Friday the 13th and the nightmare on Elm Street. I've seen those, but I saw Carrie when it first came out. I saw the Omen. You remember Carrie? Yeah, I remember Carrie. Yeah. Yeah, but Ochoa, Michael B. Jordan did this thing.
Starting point is 00:26:24 I've always been a big Del Rolindo fan. Yes, sir. What's the big dude? What was cornbread? What's cornbread real name? Miller, his last name Miller. The big dude. I know what you're talking about.
Starting point is 00:26:37 I don't know his last name. Yeah. But hey, if you get a chance, check it out. Smoke and Stag, come back home. You know? Omar, Omar, Omar Bisson Miller, Omar. Yeah. They leave, they come back, but boy, what'd they come back to?
Starting point is 00:27:00 They wouldn't look at that. I'm not at all. Listen, and I hate to be a spoiler, and a lot of people they complain about on Twitter, on X and Instagram, when people go watch movies and you saw it first. And I don't wanna be one to spoil a movie for anybody, but I need you to go see it.
Starting point is 00:27:18 I need you to go see it so you have a better understanding on what Coogler has done with this masterpiece. Yeah. Back then they got 90, 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. And you know how hard it is to get a high percentage. Yes. From a movie on Rotten Tomatoes. Yep.
Starting point is 00:27:34 And let you know, he put his foot in this movie. Michael B. Jordan was phenomenal. Yes. Haley Steinfeld. Like I said, I'm like, okay, where are they going with this? You know, Smokey Stagg come back. I forget, what's the guy's name? He goes to church and he got the broken guitar. But anyway, I'm all over the place. Okay, I'm like here and I'm like here.
Starting point is 00:28:00 You gotta pay attention too now. You gotta pay attention. You gotta pay attention too now. You gotta pay attention. You got to pay attention. Because it shows up with the guitar. It's a day after. So yeah. Don't tell too much now. Don't tell too much. So you gotta go back. You know they get, hey, hey, hey, Smoke & Stack, they play good money. Hey, but Smoke, Smoke, Smoke the dude. They try to steal the money off the truck. They tried to steal off the truck and she called it You know get down there. He shot one. Bye shot him in that shot him in his tail It did hit the other dude in the thing But hey Ryan you did your thing?
Starting point is 00:28:42 You know, and I've always been a fan of his Michael B Jordan, I like I like Michael B. Jordan. Fruitvale Station. Oscar Grant. He played that band. Michael B. Jordan played that. Oh, he played. He played it. He played that role. You know, obviously you see him in Creed and you remember him in Black Panther. But Michael B. George is, you know what? It kind of reminds you of a young Spike Lee Denzel. You know a lot of Spike Lee. Everything they did together.
Starting point is 00:29:16 Yeah. Yeah. Cause you know what you're getting. Who would have nobody getting out of Michael B. George and he always puts him in the best positions to highlight his strengths. Yes. And he cuts a fool every time. Anybody told y'all have to movie, take y'all ass to see the movie, cheap asses.
Starting point is 00:29:35 Anybody told y'all have to movie, y'all don't know nothing. Y'all don't know no character, all y'all know is smoking stack. That's why I tried not to say much. And they all talk about, man, you tell us the movie. Man, y'all know is Smoke and Stat. That's why I tried not to say much. And they gonna talk about, man, you tell us the movie. Man, y'all don't know nothing. Y'all don't remember nothing. How the movie start out then?
Starting point is 00:29:54 Exactly. What happened? Nah, but like I said, man, it's been a while. Oh, chill, I was a big, big movie fan. When I say I go to the movies, now, I bet y'all ain't nobody. I've seen six movies in one day. That's the record. That's the most movies I've done.
Starting point is 00:30:14 Now, I was routine, I see two, but I saw six. I went to the movie at about 1050, and I didn't get home until after midnight. Wait, when was this? 1996. So can I tell you, can I ask you, can I tell you, I'm gonna ask you if you did this, did you pay for one movie? I paid for one movie.
Starting point is 00:30:34 And then wait and then go on the next one? Yep. Okay, okay. I'm just making sure I don't feel bad because I did that as well. I'd never forget, I'm not sure if we have any people in the chat. Remember the Omni? The Omni Hotel?
Starting point is 00:30:49 The movie theater you used to be right there? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. By the Miami Hero Center? Hey, I am one who also did that. Paid for one ticket and waited to go into another theater to see another movie. Yeah, cause nobody would have believed that. Come on, bro.
Starting point is 00:31:04 Y'all should think I snuck in here. Yeah, cuz nobody would have believed that. Come on, bro. Y'all should think I snuck in here. Yeah, I did. Hey, do they still have dollar movies? I remember you, y'all remember the dollar movies? It's 20-25, mom. You know it ain't no dollar movies. Okay, well, what about like the older movies? So maybe like $3 then. How much is a matinee? About $12, maybe. Chad, how much is a matinee? About $12 maybe. How much is a matinee?
Starting point is 00:31:30 While you're bulljabbing. But I want to go to the movie though too because I hadn't been to the movie since maybe the pandemic. I think I've been one time since the pandemic. It did. Not just a movie. You got to go to Cinemastro. Oh, I go to Cinembeastro. Okay, okay, okay. We got Cinembeastro. I go to I Pick too. I Pick is it. I Pick got the reclining chairs. They used to give you hot popcorn to charge your ass for that. And a blanket and a pillow. Mmhmm.
Starting point is 00:31:56 But hey, just because they give you a blanket and a pillow, people don't bring y'all ass in there with pajamas, really. Don't do it too much. Come on now. pajamas, really. I'm not doing too much, come on now. Hey, man, that center bistro in Miami, I think, is it Dolphin Mall? Yeah, by Dolphin Mall, huh? Oh my God, the food.
Starting point is 00:32:17 I've been there one time, man. They bring you the popcorn, like you just said. I think it might have been calamari. No, it was popcorn. Maybe it was popcorn and calamari. Yeah, yeah was popcorn. Maybe it was popcorn and calamari. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And steak with the mashed potatoes. They said, uh, uh, matinee is like between five and seven dollars.
Starting point is 00:32:32 In what? In what? What? Where at? Matinee. How much a matinee cost, y'all? Nah, five and seven dollars. It's 20-25. They trippin'. I-I-I-I-I tell you what what I got a cutoff time I can't see no late movie 9 o'clock 10 o'clock no midnight movie cuz you know I didn't have the midnight showing like a lot of times the Marvel movies they'll start at midnight on Thursday but I ain't going up in no movie no damn midnight man I'm going to sleep you'll be sleep yep
Starting point is 00:33:01 nah I a give me a good a Oh Joe it, is the correct way to go about it? Do you go to the movie and go to dinner or do you go to dinner and then go to the movie? No, you go, you go to the movie first. You go, you go to the movies. The movie is your main course. Okay. The main course in a sense. And then dinner is, okay, let's talk about the movie. So it gives you something to talk about at dinner on top of whatever topics you also want to discuss
Starting point is 00:33:30 Yeah, a lot of people a lot of you know Used to be the thing you take a lady to dinner Let me take them to the movies But you know now women don't like to go to the movie because it's like it's all dark. You can't talk We like okay, you're right. You're right You're right You know because it's like it's all dark you can't talk okay you right you right you right you know it's funny anything I'm trying to think why you say it coffee dates they don't like movie dates they don't like anything where conversation is to be had they don't't like. No. Yeah, if I listen, I can't do dinner in a movie. Because if I get dinner and you go to the movie, you gonna be watching it by yourself.
Starting point is 00:34:13 The only thing I'm watching is the back of my eyelids. Lee? Yes, sir. Yeah, I tried it one time. You know, I'm like, you know, it's like, oh, let's go to the movie. Let's go to dinner and go to the movie. Okay. What if it's a good movie though? That's a look. Hey, my, hey, my body don't know if it's good or not.
Starting point is 00:34:39 All my body knows is tired. I don't get that. Man. It's, it's some, it's some stuff that, that is just exciting. Do you remember that feeling? I don't know that. Nah. Man, it's some stuff that is just exciting. Do you remember that feeling? I don't know if you saw it. When Troy came out, when 300 came out. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:52 Braveheart. Yeah. When gladiator came. Man. Yeah. Ruffles. Those movies was. Sparta.
Starting point is 00:35:00 At 300. Yeah. You remember the movie 300? Yeah, yeah, yeah. This is Sparta. Hey, you remember the movie 300. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, this is Sparta Hey, that's I use that. I'm not gonna bring that we meet we meet I mean clean all show I'm not gonna say hey, man. Oh Joe bed. I don't got it. Hey Man, hey, the lights go down. Yeah, no chair laid back. Yeah, they try to tell me something
Starting point is 00:35:24 Okay, okay. Okay. they try to tell me something. Okay. Okay. Okay. I see you going with it. I see you going with it. Okay. You sleep. No, I'm watching. And another thing. Oh, look here. Move it. Uh, maybe it's just me. Yeah. Oh Joe, long as they like the window lights up. Yes, sir. Oh Johnny I love what you've done
Starting point is 00:35:59 Yeah, being Helen we open up we went to sag. Oh my god. It's beautiful up there this time He talked as much as you want. Okay Lights come down. Now, you know, you know, you know how people won't talk to you through the movie now. Hey, I'm going to see I'm going to see any Tyler Perry movie. I'm going to see that a matinee. Yeah, tell it, Chuck. Hey, Chuck. I wish I would. All through the movie.
Starting point is 00:36:30 Yes! All through the movie. That's classic. That's us, though. That's us. It's going to be in the movie. You can't listen. Stop talking during the movie.
Starting point is 00:36:44 Please. I don't know somebody got. I mean, now look, each I got no problem because I was me and I went to me and I was in New York. Only time I went to the movie, me and the camera guy, we really cool. Freddy Shimizu. So we you know, we back down there you hold yo we eat the popcorn yeah
Starting point is 00:37:08 do a turn around uh how much longer you gonna be that I looked him up I said What the F? Would you chew it loud or something? First of all, so what am I supposed to do? I chew it! I chew it like I chew! Man, there ain't nobody chewing no popcorn! Hey, that's funny. I got you, man ain't nobody chewing no popcorn. Hey, that's funny. I mean, what? I'm just trying to figure out how am I supposed,
Starting point is 00:37:52 popcorn is not something that's silent. Right, right. It's like a thing of chips. How do you eat chip? So what am I supposed to do? Just put the chip in my mouth and let it melt? Mm-hmm. But hold on, he shouldn't have been able to hear you eating popcorn if the movie's playing anyway.
Starting point is 00:38:07 I don't know what he was talking about. Talking about how long, how much longer, how much longer you gonna do? I'm looking at my bucket of popcorn till it's gone. I think when it's gone, I'll stop. Better please, baby. But I ain't been to the movie. I want to go to the movie. I'm gonna get out. I'm gonna get to a movie what I need to see What's up? I don't saw I don't saw a Center so I can't go see We're seeing guys I sinners is good enough to see twice Then they'd be talking about y'all talking about what's your color I
Starting point is 00:38:41 Told you know what you know what? talking about what you call them. I told you. You know what? You know what? Hey, Ryan, hey, Ryan came on and he say, when we come to the Superbowl next year, come we are taking night cap on the road, going to the Superbowl.
Starting point is 00:38:51 He gonna join us. You know what, Ocho? I'm gonna go get him. I think the movie like $27. I think like $27, $28. Yeah. I say, man, I remember back in the day, $1.50, $3, you and your girl went to the movies
Starting point is 00:39:06 Mm-hmm But you could you could take your girl to the movies She get a big ol thing y'all can share a bucket of popcorn You can get a you can get candy and sodas for like 10 12 hours Yeah, hey, you know what sinners is the sinners is the perfect movie? I doubt it Chad y'all could probably help me and let me know. It's a movie that you can see more than once, but the perfect place to see Sinners,
Starting point is 00:39:30 if they do it, is at a drive-in. So perfect movie for a drive-in theater. It is. Yeah, I like it. It's definitely, I definitely, it's definitely worth seeing. It's definitely worth seeing. I think Michael B. Jordan did an unbelievable job.
Starting point is 00:39:46 So if y'all get an opportunity, man go out there and check out Sanders, man. He did an unbelievable job. No, y'all laughing, but I think I pick his, like 27, $28. It was, I mean, that was like five years ago. I think it is. I pick a little pricey now.
Starting point is 00:40:01 As a matter of fact, on Saturday night, actually it was like $32 on a Saturday, because that was like new movies prime? Yeah. I still got a lot of passes. But the passes they had, oh, you can't use them for new releases. But then what the hell y'all keep giving me? Tell me, Puck.
Starting point is 00:40:18 Hey, is Magic Johnson Theater still there right now for Crenshaw and Stocker, or is it gone? Don't start me lying. Only time I like that nigga the woods when is when I'm heading to Soulphi. Right. Hey chat, is Magic, anybody in LA in the chat, is Magic Johnson's theater still right there off of Crenshaw and Stocker? I think it's $26. How much is it on the weekend? Right.
Starting point is 00:40:56 Well, they've been getting old because they charge me more than that on the weekend. I think you, you, I think you got to pay senior citizen discount. I mean, no, they ain't got that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Uh. They changed it to real 50. I know.
Starting point is 00:41:12 But I do got, I, you got AARP card at what, 50? 55? I ain't got one. I ain't got one. I ain't got one. I take that discount. Hey, Sizzlers, uh, uh that discount a sizzles uh-huh Let me go you know Hey, yeah, yeah, let me go get let me get them up pancakes. I have real deal to two two and two
Starting point is 00:41:37 That's my best my go-to. I Browse GM Andrew Barry spoke about Alabama draft prospect Jalen Milrow. Let's take a listen to what he had to say. Jalen, he's got rare physical talent. When he gets in the NFL, he may be the only quarterback who's faster than Lamar. Don't tell Lamar I said that, please. He's got rare physical gifts. He's got, he's got rare physical gifts. You know, he's, he's strong, he's fast.
Starting point is 00:42:08 He's got a really strong arm. And any system that you build around him, you want to take advantage of the fact that he has things that no other players at the position at the position have. Wow. Oh Joe, is he, should he, will he, should he, will he, can he be a day one quarterback and do you think he's faster than Lamar Jackson? No, don't compare anybody to Lamar Jackson. He's disrespectful. He's disrespectful just because he has the attributes and he runs straight. He runs straight in a fast line. You know, that's, I mean, honestly,
Starting point is 00:42:53 no, don't do that. Lamar Jackson is fast laterally. He's fast straight ahead. He's fast going backwards. It's different. Lamar Jackson is different and even putting him in a conversation, gentlemenlen Monroe is great as he is. He's great as he is. I watched him at Alabama. Phenomenal dude, you know? I love, I love what he's doing.
Starting point is 00:43:12 He can have the opportunity to change someone's franchise. Hopefully he gets the opportunity to do so because obviously the Browns have done, you know, not so much of a good job at picking quarterbacks for a very, very long time. But it's mad disrespectful, even in a joking manner to compare J. Levin Rowe to Lamar Jackson. Outside of that he just compared to speed nothing else. Yeah I mean don't even do that part. Because the game to get the game what he run the 40 what did Miro run the 40 in?
Starting point is 00:43:47 Come on really didn't run the 40. I don't think the more random 40 even at a pro date No, I look a lot of people believe that all Lamar. I believe in a 40 Michael Vick the fast quarterback I would see I know Michael Vick went to the combine it ran 4 3 3 Yeah, so until somebody run a far quarterback run a 4 3 3 at the combine and ran 4-3-3. Yeah. So until somebody run up for a quarterback, run a 4-3-3 at the combine, Michael Vick the fastest. Yeah, Vick was different more. When that boy took- Lamar ran a 4-3, Lamar ran 4-3-4.
Starting point is 00:44:14 Now that pro day time and combine time is different. Yeah, two different worlds that way. So if Michael Vick ran 4-3-3 at the combine, he run a 4-2 at pro day. It's so funny Lamar ran low 4-3's. 4-3-4. Yeah, Jalen ran high 4-3-7. And then he says, faster than Lamar Jackson. Like what are we doing? You didn't do your homework? You will not do your homework, come on now. Yeah, Lamar speed is a very, he got rear speed.
Starting point is 00:44:54 Yeah. I mean, you look at him, you look at Vic, they got rear speed. Kyler, now Kyler needs some little longer legs and he might run four too, cause he gonna take, iner now, Caller needs a little longer leg than he might run for too. Cause he's going to take, he's going to in 20 yards, he's going to take 400 steps. Hey, he need moving though, boy. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:12 Oh yeah. Hey, he be moving. And because he don't have that long stride, so it don't take long for him to get, to get going. Coach prime made a very interesting admission on his We Got Time Today podcast. Time was asked about habits and it took a turn for the response. I've never in my life pleasured myself. God is my witness in Jesus' name.
Starting point is 00:45:38 I'm telling you the God's honest truth. My next statement is going to sound arrogant. Never had to. I put time on that one. You ain't never had to? Nope. Well, well, I'm listen, I, I, you know, that's all what I say. I touch myself with nobody's around me.
Starting point is 00:45:58 Yeah. I knew anybody else when I think about you. I, no that ain't me. Can I tell you something? Yeah. Chat and we family fellas, I don't know if y'all have done this before, but and I listen, I'm not ashamed,
Starting point is 00:46:18 but sometimes in my younger days when I would know I would be going to see somebody or I would know someone would be going to see somebody or I would know someone would be coming to me, I would have to do that and heard McGeeT went out the way to ensure that I last longer. Nah. She go get it. I'm just telling you, it was a tactic, it was a strategy that I used and it worked to make sure, to ensure that I wasn't two minutes to make sure to ensure that you know I
Starting point is 00:46:45 wasn't you know two minutes or three minutes of where it might have been if I if I went in there fresh so I got one out the way so when she came in I was able to show out. Nah, the first, the da da da da da da. Hell no. Oh no. The old spark will make you show out. Oh, I'm talking about way back in 94 or 95.
Starting point is 00:47:05 Oh okay yeah yeah. No, oh it's your way. You gonna get this? Hey, you gonna get this hot dog with a microwave two minutes, it's exploding. I'm sorry. You know how to hit it with the Bernie Mac? If you don't get mine when I get yours, when you don't get yours when I get mad, you fresh

I'm Israel Gutierrez and I'm hosting a new podcast, Dub Dynasty, the story of how the Golden State Warriors have dominated the NBA for over a decade. The Golden State Warriors once again are NBA champions. From the building of the core that included Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, to one of the boldest coaching decisions in the history of the sport.
Starting point is 00:49:50 I just felt like the biggest thing was to earn the trust of the players and let the players know that we were here to try to help them take the next step, not tear anything down. Today, the Warriors dynasty remains alive, in large part because of a scrawny 6'2 hooper who everyone seems to love.
Starting point is 00:50:07 For what Steph has done for the game, he's certainly on that Mount Russmore for guys that have changed it. Come revisit this magical Warriors ride. This is Dubb Dynasty. The Dubb's dynasty is still very much alive. Listen to Dubb Dynasty on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Our podcast, Hasta Abajo, is where sports, music, and fitness collide, and we cover it all. De arriba hasta abajo. Sit down with real game changers in the sports world, like Miami Dolphins CMO Priscilla Shoemate, who is redefining what it means to be a Latina leader.
Starting point is 00:51:06 It all changed when I had this guy come to me. He said to me, you know, you're not Latina. First of all, what does that mean? I'm out this wide open. Yeah. History makers like the Sukar family, who became the first Peruvians to win a Grammy. It was a very special moment for us.
Starting point is 00:51:23 It's been 15 years for me in this career. Finally, things are starting to shift into a different level. Listen to Hasta Wajo on the iHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Capital One, founding partner of iHeart Women's Sports. Ocho, Jadiside, today must have been a very interesting day for confessions. Brandon Jacobs, the former giant running back, had the internet in confession. Y'all wanna know something about that brother that bothers me? I'm 42 years old and I regret losing my virginity to the person I lost it to. It means nothing, but I wish it was for another person other than her.
Starting point is 00:52:12 All right, that's cute. That's cute. It's enjoyable to sit back and think about the person you lost your virginity to. I can't even honestly, can you remember who you lost your virginity to after all this time? 1000%. 1000. I wish, I can't remember. Honestly.
Starting point is 00:52:38 I wish I could. I mean, matter of fact, if someone happens to see this and you remember or recall that time when you took my virginity you want her first No, I wasn't Absolutely, not no she was about I mean the lady took my virginity is about let me see I was I was 27 I think she was 65 Yeah, so I had one you you know, real season, she was seasoned, what? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:53:06 I did some things I never saw before, you know? She had me in a swing, she had me in a swing, right? You know, she had me in a swing and it hung off the door. And she tied me up in a swing and climbed up on the ladder and got on, I'm like, man, what in the world? And I thought this is what it would be like all the time. And it wasn't like that all the time. And she just, she, you know,
Starting point is 00:53:32 for it to be my first experience, I was almost traumatized until I learned to navigate my way around and add what she did to me to my repertoire to where when people wanted to sleep with me during my tenure of fun it was known as an experience not just sex. Oh that's what they thought huh? Yeah it was an experience. In my day? Call it whatever y'all want to.
Starting point is 00:53:59 Now it's time for our final segment of the evening. It's time for Q&A. What? Acted? Uh, uh, A.D. gave it his all, just like I do when I go to work, but it wasn't enough. My question is, which basketball player in the 90s had 20 plus points, but in a losing effort, and no Ocho isn't cheating. What player in the 90s had 20 plus points, average 20, does it say average 20 plus points in a losing effort?
Starting point is 00:54:40 There are a lot of guys that have a 20. I mean, considering Jordan won six, Jordan won six, the Rockets won two, they, it wasn't but another one to be book in. So you got the Pistons and the Pistons won 90. And what you call them? San Antonio, won 99. So, he'll go 14, they won the title. And what you call them San Antonio? 199
Starting point is 00:55:09 So he'll go 14 they won the title in the 90s Detroit started off San Antonio closed it and then you had Jordan 91 92 93 you had the Rockets 94 95, 95, Jordan, 96, 97, 98, Spurs, 99. And you got Shaq. Hm. So? Oh, well. Mike Brown, hey, do you think Lakers regret not taking Mark Williams high Oh, well.
Starting point is 00:55:45 Mike Brown. Hey, do you think Lakers regret not taking Mark Williams? How well he finished the season? What's up, Ocho 305 legend? Scott Project, baby. Oh, what's up? I had the Scots, man. That's live.
Starting point is 00:56:01 Let's hope they don't regret taking Mark Williams because he did. He played well. He played well. He played unbelievable and Luca loves lob threats. That's why he worked so well with him and Gaffer. It worked so well with him and in a lively the second, he loves a lot of threat because he's going to get into the lane. And when the big guy come to help, he can follow it to him. Boom.
Starting point is 00:56:23 Mike, I hope not. I hope not. And he's a very good defender. Sheridan Pope happy Easter and 4 20. Oh, if Joe could pull out this second championship, will he join the John as the great Denver sports icon? Yes. Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:56:40 Yes. Yes. Yes. Um, what's the hockey player name? Um, which one? Oh, Vascon? No, no, yes, yes What's the hockey player name? What's one of asking no to know what with the with the Alves they won the title what's his name Ray Bork I Think Bork that big Bork won a title for the for the Alves Then he went to tight didn't they win the title I I think they won in 1998. When they won 96?
Starting point is 00:57:14 Wasn't it Ray Bort? I knew no better. And he had the all-time wins record. Who was the defenseman for the avalanche? What? Was Ray Bork on the team? Just Google Ray Bork. OK, well, he wasn't there then. But what, uh, uh, uh, Sackett?
Starting point is 00:58:03 They had enough. They had a redhead. Scott Fososberg Fosberg was there Peter Fosberg. Yeah As has a cat named Peter Down Smith was do match up well Now if I want to leave lose a read this cuz y'all gonna be talking about our band pause Now, I don't know if I want to leave lose a read is because y'all gonna be talking about our bank pause This is what a damn wrote. But I got the. Again I'm gonna tell him I'm a Heat fan, but I'm with you on this one now. I told you Timberwolves Teen Wolf werewolf Legs and fire Yes, that's what I'm saying No, but I'm saying but I'm saying I remember Ray Bork being there.
Starting point is 00:59:25 Yeah, I thought, I know I wasn't losing my mind. I was like, how about I come to school? I remember Ray Bork holding the trophy. The ball is shot, caller 1999. The Mavs should just leave the city of Dallas. At this point, because this bull jive, the fans deserve better. We already suffered with the Cowboys.
Starting point is 00:59:44 Oh, that's messed up. The fans deserve better. We already suffer with the Cowboys. Oh Has messed up The ball is shot calling 1999 said hey, oh sure Real Madrid is gonna is gone and my barka is still alive in the Champions League Who do you have winning at all?
