I'm Simone Boys, host of the Brightside podcast, and on this week's episode, I'm talking to
Olympian, World Cup Champion, and podcast host Ashlyn Harris.
My worth is not wrapped up in how many things I've won.
because what I came to realize is I valued winning so much
that once it was over, I got the blues, and I was like, this is it.
For me, it's the pursuit of greatness.
It's the journey.
It's the people.
It's the failures.
It's the heartache.
Listen to the bright side on the IHeartRadio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
So, Matthew Stafford, found two.
to at well wide open for a year and go ahead touchdown pass with less than two minutes
remaining to send the Rams to a 2027 20 20 win over the Colts at so far the Colts made
so many mistakes. Oh Joe one play before the go ahead touchdown. The Colts only had 10 men on
the field. Then they had a holding penalty in the gate of a 53 yard touchdown run by Jonathan
Taylor. And also they had a 76 yard touchdown reception that turned into a touchback.
and Haiti Mitchell fumble the ball
as he crossed the goal line.
So look, it's no consolation.
You know, if I mean, I'm looking at a game like,
bro, we gave up a touchdown
with 10 players on the field.
We had a holding pillar
and they get a touchdown.
We had another touchdown, bro.
The Colts are better than we think.
Yeah.
I mean, that's the only way I look at it, Ocho.
The Colts are better than we thought.
Wait, did you see that,
that 53-yard run by Jonathan Taylor?
They got called back?
man boy buddy is nice boy yeah he is the real deal we didn't talk about him last year
ohcho because sayquan and derrick henry yeah they they was but yeah but if you go back and
look at his numbers yeah he's a pro he a pro bow he's a pro bow he's been an all pro
there's a reason why uh uh matthew staffer was 29 of 41 three
75, three touchdowns, zero picks.
Hey, a, a, a, a, uh, roll off them Pooka and the Cua numbers real quick.
A Puga had 13 catches for a buck 70, a touchdown on 15 targets.
Two, two had one for 88 on two targets.
Devante Adams, four for 56, a touchdown on six targets.
I mean, 13 for 170.
Mm-hmm.
They won the game.
Mm-hmm.
A.J. Brown, one for seven yards.
They said, look, we won the game.
Pooka had 13 for 170.
Now, at the end of the day,
what did Philly and the rounds both do?
When?
I get it.
You preach it to the choir.
I absolutely 1,000% understand.
AJ's frustration, but I'm just telling you,
you're not going to convince the,
because the fans want to win.
They're not concerned about AJ Brown's stats.
You know that, I know that.
And the team's not concerned.
Yeah.
Shit.
All right.
They're not.
Yeah, you're right.
Hey, hey, Gile, get out of there, man.
Gilly was cutting up.
The Colts, Pooka had 13 for a buck 70 further leading his league
NFL league in both categories.
Hey.
He's going to mess right.
Hey, how many catches he got now?
40, 42?
He must right.
He must ride and go get 150, 160.
Yeah.
How many is it?
How many he got?
42, right?
Yeah.
Yeah, something like that.
I was going to touch the out of title score.
Today, he became the second player in NFL history to have 40 receptions for 500 yards
in his team's first four games.
Dog, dog, that's crazy.
Do you hear what you just said?
Mm-hmm.
40 reception in four games.
Mm-hmm.
My God.
Bro, all they did is do what they did,
you remember when Cuba Cup had that historic season?
Yeah.
Insert Pooka to Kua.
Cool, exactly.
Yeah, same place.
Same everything.
Oh, that's crazy.
And he has somebody on the other side,
that can open it up, because remember when they brought Odell in there?
Yeah.
Odell was still, could make you pay if you're singing him.
Devante can make you pay.
So he gets.
He made him pay last week.
Mm-hmm.
He made him pay the week before that.
And they made sure this game, okay, Devante going crazy right now.
Let's get our young bull back where he's supposed to be.
Mm-hmm.
It's funny how that works.
You see how they can make a constant effort to get who they want,
the ball. Yeah. And I think the thing is, Oh, Cho, is that when we start talking about all the
receivers, we leave Puka out of the equation. Pooka McCuick is in the mix. Now, I'm not saying
I'm taking him over a Jetta or Chase, but there ain't a whole lot of other receivers I'm taking
in front of him because he's physical. Yeah. He doesn't. See, I like guys do nasty work,
Ojo. Everybody wants to catch the gold ball, Locho. Everybody want to catch the poles and catch the
nine route. But what about them? What about the guy that's going to catch that under?
What about the guy who's going to catch that three steps, three steps, three steps,
what about the guy that's going to catch, hey, going to catch that bubble screen or that jail break?
Mm-hmm.
He's going to get tattooed.
Yeah, he do it all, man.
Hey, that we can run the jet suite with.
Mm-hmm.
Hey, y'all better start giving pookin, give him pook his credit.
Hey, I know he's not conventional.
He don't look like the guys that we think are the best.
Right.
But, hey, he doesn't earn the stripes now.
He came in as a rookie and did what he did, and he backed it up.
And he's backing it up again.
Yeah.
And they're going to have to back the truck up.
Oh, yes.
Oh, Cho, the first game of the day, the Steelers beat the Minnesota Vikings over in Ireland
by the score of 2421.
The Steelers defense put together its best showing of the season.
Collected six sacks, 10 tackles for loss against Carson.
Wentz with the third interception, T.J. Watt became one of seven players with at least 100
sacks and eight career interceptions. The other six are in the Hall of Fame, L.T., Richard Dent,
Chris Dolman, rest his soul, Jason Taylor's, Pelt, Julius Peppers, and Ricky Jack.
That's some very, very elite company that Mr. Watt finds himself in.
Absolutely.
Boy, you see Aaron Rodgers and goddamn D.K. today?
I did.
Oh.
It's funny.
That got, hey, boy, D.K., hey, that goddamn, that skinny pulls,
and he threw that thing right off the ear, the back of him.
Yep.
And that state he took a bad angle.
Man, D.K.
Say, man, stop playing with me, man.
I'm going to catch you in the end zone, homie.
I'm okay.
Listen, they look really good.
the day. It was a good, it was a good game. But the Steelers look very good today. And I think
there's only one quarterback that could have made the Steelers look the way they looked at the day
based on the throws that he threw today. Now's Aaron Rogers. Boy, Aaron Rogers was out there
scrambling up. He took off. 18 or 22 for 200 yards on a touchdown and no interceptions.
He played a clean game. He did. And when he put that ball 29 times that, I do question,
why would you go for it on fourth down instead of kicking the field goal? But other than that,
I thought they played really well.
Justin Jetta,
10 catches for a buck 26 on 11 targets.
Your Addison, 4 for 114 on 8 targets.
Bro, Addison need his butt kick.
Did you see that guy, that linebacker went and got him?
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's a linebacker, Ocho.
He just got back, huh?
I don't give a...
He just got back.
Unless he was tied up, had his legs tied in the basement.
Ain't no linebacker supposed to want a ride receiver
down. You do understand. Listen,
or Addison ain't nothing, but Fofo,
these linebackers that they run
four, four, four, five, so they run about the same.
Fofo ain't catching Fofo.
Hey, when that monkey jump on your back
in the middle of the game, where you're not as fresh as you
are when it start, that monkey, hey, that monkey heavy.
Ocho, that man, it wasn't no angle.
He went and got it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Hey, that lactic acid bill up now.
And ain't that going to bill up.
Hey, you got to be Usain boat to come get me with a lead like that.
You ain't come to get me.
As a wide receiver and that's a linebacker.
Oh, Joe, D.K.
The Steelers ended Sunday averaging the fewish air yards per attempt.
But they lead the league in yards after the catch.
In the early second quarter, Rogers hit D.K. on a slant.
D.K. took a truck one final defender getting into the end zone, an 80-yard touchdown.
What did D.K have?
D.K. had five for buck 26, one touchdown on five targets, 80 yards.
Gainwell, six for 35, but Gainwell had 19 carriers, 99 yards, and two touchdowns.
So they had 29 rush attempts, 131 yards, and two touchdowns.
Yeah, Wentz, 30 for 46, 352 touchdowns, two interceptions, six sacks.
They pressured him.
They pounded him all day.
He was owning that.
Redmond had two sacks.
They did, I mean,
considering they had all those sacks,
no, I'm looking at the wrong thing.
Look at the wrong thing.
Hebrick had one and a half.
Benton had one and a half.
Elliot had one.
Queen had one.
T.J.
T.J. Watt had one.
Queen had three tackled for losses.
Wilson had two tackle for losses.
T.J. Hebring had a tackle for loss.
I think
Rams
he left this game
with an injury, didn't he?
Hamstring.
He pretended like he had one
and got one for real.
And then really got one for real.
Steelers look good.
Steelers look good.
Minnesota got 15
in the
maybe could have done something
if that's
magnificent signs.
They get that ball in.
Maybe they have an extra 30, 40 seconds to play with,
and they don't have to rush.
But we'll never know.
But give the Steelers credit, they bowed their back.
They did what they needed to do.
They found a way to win this ball game.
And they did by the score of 2421 to win the first game played in Ireland.
The Texans roll past the Titans, 26-0,
earned the first win of the season.
It's the first shutout the Texans had since 2010.
third ever. Stroud, 20 or 28, 233, two touchdowns. The Texas has improved to one in three.
Meanwhile, the Titans remain winless. Cam Ward had a hell of a postgame presser, Ocho,
take a listen to what Cam had to say. I mean, if we're keeping a buck right now, we ask,
so we owe for it. We have, this one, we got nothing to lose. We dropped a quarter of our
games, and we've yet to do anything. So we have to lock in, especially myself, on the
line from the defense line from the special teams to all three faces we have to play together
we have not played together this year yet and that's just something that you know we want to preach
about it every day every day we got to do better and we're doing that but it has to show up on
Sundays it hasn't showed up yet but it got to show up next week I like my quarterback like that
no Ocho that's the conversation you have when we played and you and I we around somebody
with our friends that's what we say you can't say that publicly no
Oh,
Ocho, he's the quarterback.
He has to see on his chair.
You know he can't say that.
You're right.
Okay, he can't say it.
That's what you say.
When you around you,
you're around your boys and y'all somewhere, man, we, we, hey.
Hey, we some slaw, we some slough.
We're stir-free.
Oh, you know, you don't, hey, can I ask you a question?
Yes.
I know the program.
I understand the, the, the power structure when you're,
face of a franchise but you don't like the authenticity no you don't like the no rawness
not from here oh cho everybody can't say everything he is the quarterback he has a captain he has to
see on his chest no he can't say that no he never could everything just because look i get it
where he's from he from miami wherever he's from and that's the way we talk we keep it a stack
and we keep it a book.
No, no, no.
Hey, chat, what y'all think?
Y'all have anything, anything?
How y'all feel about Cam being brutally honest
about their performance the past four weeks?
I'm curious what they'll say.
I know exactly where you coming from.
Yeah, I tell you what, go on your job
and say we're terrible.
And see if you still have a job.
That's all you got to do.
In that situation, you can't do it.
You can't.
I know, I know it's gray and it's going to be a great meme.
Right.
It's going to be a meme now, and everybody's going to be there putting that up there.
Oh, we some whatever, he said at the end.
But everybody, if you play, like people at home,
they don't get the dynamic of it.
Right, right, right.
y'all say whatever y'all do whatever i was a no in that structure you can't do it right i got you
i got you i love people but he's not lying though he don't go on your job and say the exact same
thing and see if you still have a job you all like when somebody else said it because you know
it's something you would never do yeah well all you know the funny thing is he's in the position
where he can say it.
Yeah.
But see, just because you can do something,
that doesn't make that you should do it.
Yeah.
It's even more that he's in the position.
That's when you have to be even more conscious of it
because you're in the position.
To whom much is given, much responsibility comes along with that.
Yes, sir.
Am I kind of, listen.
To be a leader.
Right.
It's just not be a,
about the best is knowing what to say when to say how to say it yeah okay oh i i i hate that you have
to be like that as a quarterback i hate that i like that broadness and that authenticity and i think
to me the message and saying it like that the players in that locker room name name a great
quarterback that's ever said that that's the whole point i hate that quarterback's a robotic and say
okay name a great player that's ever said that said what
Forget, forget football, basketball, baseball, name a player.
That's a great one that said that.
When Jordan Cust to everybody out.
When you like when Kobe, when Kobe.
What we say behind closed doors.
Right.
That can never get out.
Okay, okay, okay.
The way we talk in a meeting.
Oh, yeah.
The way we say.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But we might say you suck and you suck.
Boy, you were straight up.
But you know what today.
But as a leader, and I don't expect, like I said, if you've never been in the position
to lead, you could never possibly understand.
Exactly.
Exactly.
And I can tell, like when I go on you, when I go on people's timeline and I see them,
I can tell who's been in leader position.
your position and who hasn't yeah who's had great responsibility and who hasn't yes sir
that's all it is you don't yes but to say whatever whatever comes up comes out
doesn't work like that it really doesn't it really doesn't yeah remember remember we have
remember we had that conversation not too long ago about i wish and want more players to do what
tell the what true and that's exactly what he gave us today something different
beside the same hey all i know guess what angel reese did that what did you get her
remember angel reese said the same thing about her teammates what he get old joe
oh got suspended she got suspended exactly yeah she probably won't be with it with the
sky this year next year huh can't do that yeah people don't like i said if if you've never had
if you've never been in a responsibility,
if you've never been a leadership position,
or if you've never been a part of a team,
like, maybe, oh, I say, this is what I would say.
Everybody always says what they would do
when never being in a position.
Right.
To have that choice or have that chance.
A lot of things that I say, I've been in positions.
So I'm telling you what I would and wouldn't do
because I've been there.
Yeah.
If you play together,
If you play a sport long enough, Ocho, you're not fend to win all the time.
No.
You're not going to have no hundred y'all.
Hey, this is Matt Jones.

It looks like something that should not be.
be sold. Oh, my. So that was my other big cults take away. They sold that? Yes.
Might want to go back to the drawing board on that. Yeah. I might want to go back to the drawing
board on that. Yeah. I thought the shape we had with pretzels was working pretty well.
It's worked for generations. We're just here trying to enjoy it. We hope you all will join us
throughout the year. And let's go. I hope I'm as youthful as Pete Carroll is at his age.
He's a young 73. He is a young 73. He is Sprott. I wouldn't fight him. I would.

cards every game you're not going to have 10 catches you not in things are not going to go your way
and there have been some time i wanted to blast a lot of people but you know what you just bite
your lip because you know what ain't nothing good gonna come of it right now oh damn what
he was 10 or 26 for 108 yards he got sacked twice he got sacked twice
So basically he had less than 100 yards back with and then rushing they had 18 carries for 82 yards man how long did they actually have the ball you only got 43 plate less than 22 minutes there you go one team possessed the ball 38 minutes in 29 to 21 seconds the other team had it less than 21 I mean less than 22
third down efficiency one team was two of 11 one team was six and 15 but was three of three
on fourth down oh man that uh and that was funny that's look cam i don't know what you thought
so let me ask you a question you thought you thought you was going to be the number one to pick
in the draft and go go to the eagles or go to or or go to kansas city i mean what do do they
understand how this work oh cho the best player in football goes to the worst team they're going
be all right i'm confused sometimes i think they think like oh we go no yeah you don't get you don't
turn it around in one year there's their struggle yeah well whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa i think also
when you look at what a jaden danes was able to do you look at what a cj stride was able to do
you might want to come in okay i'm gonna i'm the number one pick i'm going to try to emulate and do
the same thing that those dudes did for their franchises and turn them around like that but look at the
personnel yeah that too that that too you got to look at you got to look at the personnel and
and how like hey this new day somebody said this new generation we tell it like it is this new
generation stay broke that's what this new generation do you can't talk look i get i won't
i want to know i want you to go back go to your job and say and and say on your job what he's
saying and let me know how that work out for you you know it ain't about being stuck in your ways
There's a, Ocho knows, the thing I know about Ocho and being around Ocho, Ocho joke a lot, but Ocho knows how things work in a, in a locker room environment, in a professional environment.
I know what lies not to cross.
I know how far I can go.
Hey, now, Ocho with his, they had a bad game.
Ocho going to go with his boys.
Boy, we were some, we were terrible a lot there today.
Boy.
Hey.
Oh, Joe, hey, I was telling, hey, the fan booing.
I was booing too.
Boo.
Hey, hey, they're like, they booing sharp.
Like, yeah, me too.
But you have to understand, like, what we say, what I would say to like in a meeting,
man, I couldn't say that publicly.
Nah, uh-uh.
And the great son, all the great players understand.
Look, he'll learn.
He'll learn his lesson.
He'll understand that being a quarterback, first of all,
second of all, he has the seal on his chair.
So he has a double, he has a double whamble, Joe.
Right.
He's a quarterback and he a captain.
Mm-hmm.
A lot of times when emotion is high, logic is low.
And that's what happens.
You know, he's had success and he comes into a situation.
And, oh, Joe, you know how we think.
We're going to turn it around.
Shit.
Hey, I'm a winner.
I've been a winner my whole life.
life yeah but hey sometimes even your winning can't overcome what they already got up in there
it's going to take some time for you to flip that around yeah now also what did jane daniels
have he had a change in leadership he had a change in ownership yeah he got daniel snider up in that
he daniel snitner stood a jane daniel winning like that right top to bottom you you you can't
overcome bad leadership right so now they fix that problem
They got players around it.
Cam, just give it some time, bro.
I understand.
I know you thought you'd probably have a couple of wins by now.
You're o' and four.
Are they the only only team that they hadn't won a game yet?
It's the Saints.
I know you probably thought you'd win a couple of games by now.
Just give us some time, bro.
You're going to have a long career.
It's going to be a lot of ups and down.
Hey, everybody can have a damn Tom Brady career.
Every year we win the playoff, every year we win the division.
And every other year, we're in the damn Super Bowl.
Yeah.
Boy, if it was only that easy.
And that's the problem.
People think winning in professional sports is easy.
That issue is hard.
Yeah.
You're just the fact that those that keep doing it consistently year and year out,
that's how good they actually are, where they make it look easy.
Yes.
That's what the grades do.
People think, like, man,
Damn, my home has never not played in an AFC championship game.
That man has been in the league.
This is what, his eighth year?
He's been to five Super Bowls, Ocho.
No, that's crazy.
What?
That's crazy.
And we talk, it's real life.
This ain't no goddamn video game.
Yes.
Some people play 10, 15 years and don't even sniff a Super Bowl.
Whole career without getting there.
This man wake up out of bed.
Damn, we at the Super Bowl, honey.
It just happens.
But look, I think Cam's going to be a phenomenal player.
They need a little bit more talent.
Yeah.
They need to protect him a little better.
But he'll get it figured out.
He's an extremely talented.
Hopefully they don't beat him up too bad.
The Titans have now lost 10 consecutive games dating back to week 13 of the 2024 season.
Ward start to his NFL career has been rocky
through four games. He's completed
less than 55% of his
passes for 506 yards
along with two touchdowns
and two interception. His
23.4 QBR
is among the worst in the league.
Hmm.
Damn.
I don't think it's getting any worse, though,
Ocho. Hey, you're going to have
days like this? You will
have days like this. Yeah. And matter
fact, it's better to get it out now
as opposed to it be happening in the middle
or the back half of your career.
Get it out now.
What a...
I can't wait till tomorrow night, man.
God, leave, boy.
Your day coming.
I can't wait to come on the show
tomorrow night, chat,
and talk about how the Bengals
whooped up on the Broncos.
Hey, you will be A.
Jaguiles beat the 49ers, Ocho, 2620 with Parker, Washington's punt return touchdown for
takeaway.
Former Niner, Eric Armstead, script sack Brock Purdy with less than three minutes to play,
with three minutes to play to seal the win for the Jags.
Things got heated at the end of the game after the game, Ocho, with Liam Cohen and Niners
D coordinator, Robert Salah, had to be held back while yelling at each other.
Sala had accused Jags of stealing signs in a legal fashion.
He told him,
keep my name out your mouth.
Yeah, they should have threw them thames, boy.
Keep my name, hey, keep my name out your dentures now.
Yeah.
Now, hey, don't make me run up on you.
Hey, hey, hey, Mr. Liam walked up on him.
Like, listen, man, hey, what you doing?
Giving all this unsolicited advice.
You're right.
Hey, man, keep my name out of your mind.
Hey, he should have shoved him with the finger in his head.
He should have gave me one.
I bet there you go, bad.
I'm saying when it comes to coaches,
there are certain things that you're supposed to keep in house.
Certain things you're not supposed to share.
You know, I mean, how you're just volunteering information
that nobody knows about except coaches?
You don't do that.
So he had to go check him like Nike.
Hey, hey, they should have threw that.
right there at the 50 uh Trevor Lawrence 21 to 31 171 one touchdown no interceptions
ATN 19 carries a buck 24 and a tub 32 rushes 151 right Thomas Jr had five
for 49 strange six for 45 Travis Hunter had three for 42 um
fumble but uh they called they recovered it yeah
Brock Purdy was 22 or 38, 309, two touchdowns, two interceptions, and was sacked once.
Christian McCaffer had 17 carries for 49 yards, Ryan Robinson, Jr.
5 for 21, Brock Purdy, 2 for 13.
So 24 rush attempts, 83 yards.
Christian McCaffer had 6 for 92 in a touchdown on the receiving end.
Tonges had 3 for 58 in a touchdown.
Pierceall had an outstanding one-handed catch, had 4 for 42.
Kyle Eustich, 3 for 32.
Turnovers killed him.
You can't turn it over.
Every time.
It costs you the game.
It costs you the game, and it costs him the game tonight.
Yep.
Travis did not play at all on defense in the second half.
45 total snaps tied for a season low.
36 offensive snaps.
So that means he had nine defensive snaps, right?
They got to make up their mind, man.
Ocho, let me ask you a question.
They got to make up their mind, man.
Ocho, you want to be, let me ask you this.
If I gave you choice, Ocho, you can be an lead at one thing
or you can be the average at two things.
What's you choosing?
I'm going to be an leader at that one thing.
Because right now he's average at both.
I don't know what they're doing.
Travis Hunter is the number two pick, right?
Right.
I think, to me, I know he wants to play both sides of the ball.
I would love for him to be number two pick at one position.
Well, listen, I was all for him being on both sides of the ball.
I know you can do it.
You got the confidence to do it.
But I need you to see, I need to see you on one side of the ball and being effective for your team, either offensively or defensively.
What one or the other?
As the number two pick, you should be on the field every single down on offense or defense.
What one of the other?
Because what they're doing is they're bringing them along slow
And picking and choosing when to play them
It is not showing the value
It's hard to get a rhythm like that though
Bingo and it's not showing the value
And why you pick them number two
Not the way they're using him
But what didn't he
I think he gave up four completions though
Only his nine snaps
He did
Mm-hmm
That's one of the games I wasn't able to see.
Yeah, they don't like, because I'd be trying to watch it.
Do they let you watch individual games anymore?
Individual games.
Or you got a block, you know.
I'll be trying to, I'll be trying to, I'm going to get me a fire stick.
I got to get a setup like I got in Atlanta.
I was able to see all the games.
Yeah.
You know, when I, I don't stay home.
So for the one o'clock games, I go to a place called Upper Day in Hollandale.
Right.
And all the TVs and the goddamn JAG TV just happened to be on the TAG game
happened to be on the TV all the way on the end.
So what, but see, the thing is, I can't, it's hard for me to focus.
so right like I need to get a set up I need to get a set up like I got in Atlanta
right so I got all the individual TVs Ocho right so I could just put like yes I put like
six games on knowing that you know and hopefully the games that I have on they're
exciting because those you know you always have your games you know you're going to talk about
the Cowboys yeah we'll talk about the Eagles you there are certain teams that you know
you're going to talk about now you try to have a couple of games that okay it's interesting
and they do something and we're able to talk about them.
Yeah.
Like, you know, the Jazz got Travis Hunter.
Jacks ain't Travis Hunter.
We probably not talking about them.
Let's be real.
Because we keep hoping that we see a glimpse of what we saw at CU
and what we saw at Jackson State.
Right.
A pick and a touchdown.
They bringing them along so slow and hand-feeding them more.
And actually, he regressed as far as not playing defense this game.
and I mean
I don't know
Because it's Ocho
Think about it Ocho
You do
Ocho you and I know this
Man you got to be sound
In the NFL
Them guys are really really good
Yeah yeah
Yeah
There are no slouches
Everybody look
There are a lot of guys
That Travis Hunter
Win against as a DB
And wins against as a wide receiver

Did you see the Colts pretzel?
That was my other big takeaway from that game.
What was that?
It looks like something that should not be sold.
Oh, my.
So that was my other big Colts takeaway.
They sold that?
Yes.
Might want to go back to the Dr.
At the Colts Stadium.
Yeah, I might want to go back to the drawing board on that.
Yeah.
I thought the shape we had with pretzels was,
working pretty well.

My worth is not wrapped up in how many things I've won, because what I came to realize
is I valued winning so much that once it was over, I got the blues, and I
I was like, this is it.
For me, it's the pursuit of greatness.
It's the journey.
It's the people.
It's the failures.
It's the heartache.

That's not the NFL.
Every guy that he goes against on Sunday is in the NFL.
The real deal.
Everybody.
Everybody he's going against was an all.
state was an all conference was a something got some awards some level along the way yeah yeah and
listen for me what what i don't like is i've been spoiled i've been spoiled watching him at
colorado yes i've been spoiled watching and make players on both sides of all yes he's on the
he was number two in the draft yes so now that i'm spoiled i'm thinking okay he told him
teams, he wants to make sure he's able to play both sides of the ball wherever he drafted.
The Jaguars agreed to it. So what do you think I'm waiting to see?
I'm waiting to see the exact same output plays that I saw in Colorado, even though I understand
it doesn't work like that. Well, I think the, you, you and others got spoiled, thought he was
just going to like, it was ready, it was ready. You know, some assembly is required.
You know, like you get toys on your show when you was a kid, your mom, your grandma, your
grand that somebody had to put this stuff together.
Some assembly will be required.
They, I mean, Chad, honestly, did y'all
thought they was going to just throw this man out there and he was going to do
exactly what he did at Colorado?
Y'all thought he's going to do that NFL?
I know, I know y'all have watched the game too long to the tonight's thing that.
Oh, yeah, he's going to do exactly that right out the box.
Really, Chad, honestly.
I mean, be real.
Y'all, JNZ, y'all just told me.
Y'all say what's on your mind.
Tell me, y'all didn't think that.
What'd you call it, Gen Z?
Yeah, I mean, that's what they say.
They say, we tell you, did y'all really think that the first game,
he was going to look exactly how he looked at Colorado?
Did y'all think that?
Really?
I knew I knew I'm going to be in there like that.
But now we're going, we in week four,
I'm expecting more volume of reps on both sides of the ball.
I'm waiting to see that.
Okay, let me ask you a question, though.
You're expecting these volumes of reps.
So you expect, so, but do you want greatness or you won't average?
Because right now he's average at two positions.
Hold on.
The, the player he is is not average, so he's good.
His play.
Damn, what he is.
I'm talking about his plate.
So you tell me, so I'll tell you what, I'm going to take the name out the back.
Right.
And you don't know anything else.
Right.
And I just say that number 12, what you tell me what you, when you see him on offense,
you see them on defense tell me what you're thinking of the small plays i've seen yes he got
something in him and they're using him right i'm just i'm telling you that man was a not
he was it so he was the nine snaps on defense he gave up four catches you think he got something
in he well shit everybody no i don't do that on joe no don't do that i'm just hold on right
timeout everybody going to catch balls what you're saying whoa no no
What are you saying?
No, hold on.
Wait a minute.
I'm used, he's the number two pick in the draft.
Right, right, right.
I asked you, you, I said you want to be average and you don't want to be elite.
Oh, you said elite.
Yeah.
Oh, remember, I'm on your side though.
Remember I said I want one side.
What I'm saying, what I'm saying is that people expected that he was going to get dropped into the NFL and he was going to pick right up where he left off.
No, no, no, no, no.
You and I both, they get mad at us.
mad at us because we say that's not going to happen well how do you know because i played the
NFL now how do you know it's going to happen i played in the NFL right you didn't right
so i know a lot of guys because here's the thing ocho is that what you think those guys thinking
they're going to dig in even harder bro i'm not going to let you beat me i'm not going to let you
deep me up. Guys really be on their best. Oh, Joe, you know when you went against
Revis or you went against the top or Akeeb or you went against the top guys.
Until you know you had to be on your best behavior. Yeah, absolutely. That's how they
approach him. That's how they're approaching him. So now he just like, it's, it's, it's in
his mind. I want to do something nobody's ever done. Nobody's written in, and, and Chuck McNarrett
was the last guy to be a full-time two-way player. That was in the 60s. He's,
He was a center and a middle linebacker.
They called him Concrete Charlie, Chuck McNick.
Philadelphia Eagles.
Go look his story up.
Ocho, I just don't know, I just don't know,
I just don't know what people, what they expect.
Yeah.
I mean, give the guy some grace, let him have some time,
but oh, he, oh, he terrible.
The coach, bro, it's gonna take time.
And then it's like, well, time said, well,
He didn't practice on Tuesday.
Time, you know they ain't let no rookie come in and not going to practice.
Come on, time.
Yeah.
Oh, so what rookie you know?
I've never seen a rookie that's come in and not practice at all.
So you, so when they practice on Wednesday, he gets that day off, a rookie.
I've seen vets do that.
Yeah.
I ain't never seen a rookie do it.
Yeah.
I haven't.
Have you, have you been around?
You played 11 years.
Absolutely not
And I've had some rookies
Clinton Porter's one offensive rookie at the year
Mike Crowe one defensive rookie of the year
Outstanding
They ain't get no day off
Right
A rookie
Yeah I see I've just going
I've grown I've grown frustrated
I've grown frustrated because in my mind
number two pick he's dynamic i know what he can do offensively i understand his skill set
how are they going to use him to maximize his potential i just want more we in week four
and i'm not getting what i thought i would get even if it even if it doesn't have to be both sides
the ball even just one side of the ball you and i agreed that i thought he was a better db i say
play them at db and put packages right but it seems to Liam Cohen or why Travis
Hunter only played receiver in the second half personal decision that had to do with a few
things we'll keep in house for now yeah something ain't going right something ain't going
right there's no reason there's no reason things will be going backwards as the season goes
on there's a lot they're supposed to be adding food on your plate not taking food off your
plate.
So, hey, I'm going to the game Monday.
I'm going to the game Monday and I have a conversation with him on the field.
I want to know.
Hey, Liam Corp, that's the officer coordinator?
The head coach.
I'm going to talk to him on the field too.
See, sometimes you got, you got to go straight to the horse's mouth.
I ain't asking no players.
I'm going straight to the head coach on the field.
And I'm going, what we doing?
I just like I said look I've seen I've seen I've been on the field and I saw
with my own eyes yeah two great and I've seen Travis Hunter the two greatest
athletes that I've seen with my own eyes Bo Jackson and Dion Sanders oh oh I mean
you're young at the time you're missing somebody the two greatest athletes that
I've seen with my own two eyes that I was standing on the field right and I'm
watching hold on hold on now think about
what you just said. You said the two
greatest athletes that you've ever seen
with my own two eyes, yes.
You're missing one.
Who?
Me! What you mean? Who?
All you can do is play football.
I play soccer.
What's you talking about?
You know what, don't you? If you was in
MLS, I was.
If you went over there to UEFA,
the legal.
I say, Ocho, you're right.
You're right, Ocho.
But I saw Bo Jackson win an all-star game MVP
and then go to the Pro Bowl.
I see Time have the highest batting average
for the Braves in the playoffs,
and I don't need to say you what else he did
because if you know, Tide, you know what he did.
So those are the two greatest athletes I saw with my eyes.
All right.
I'm going, I'm going.
You know what, Ocho?
What is going on?
What, Ocho, what's going on?
Because think about it.
He said it's a personal decision
that had to do with a few things
that we'll keep in house for now.
That don't mean nothing.
That don't mean nothing.
I told you what it is.
Things aren't going well
doing both sides of the ball thing
and so you take some off the plate.
Again, as the season goes on,
you want to add to the plate.
Huh?
Go ahead.
I got my main dish
and I give me my size.
Every week you're supposed to add a different side.
Every week, you give me more and more as I get acclimated to the game.
Right.
Different pack, like, now you, you're going the wrong way.
Something ain't right.
Maybe, maybe him wanting to play on both sides of the ball.
It's not going as well as it should in practice.
I think that's what it is.
And I think they put so much pressure on themselves and the people have put so much pressure.
He came in, look, the reason why he went with Coach Prime,
because that was one of the, that was one of the few,
if not only coaches that said you can play both sides of the ball.
They weren't going to make him choose pick one of the other.
Jacksonville might have been one of the only teams that said,
you know what,
we'll allow you to play both sides of the ball.
I think the thing is now is that, look,
what is in the best interest of this team?
Not as what is in the best interest of Travis.
What is in the best interest of this team?
Because right now, the question is, Ocho,
are we getting bang for our buck?
No, no, not right now.
And to get the bang for your buck,
it got to be one spot.
He has to be one spot.
Is he over there or it's over here?
Right.
I'd rather him lock it down.
Now, look,
if he goes out there and look,
Brian Thomas,
you got Brian Thomas on one side,
you got so forth the song.
Look,
I don't know.
Because I'm trying to,
I'm trying to watch this.
I'm trying to watch them,
but I'm also trying to watch
Kansas City,
you know,
play at the same time.
And I'm looking at him
and then I'm like,
well,
he ain't in there.
So now when,
when he's not
into play a defense, I turn.
By the time I turn back, then I put it,
then I got the ball to their back.
I'm like, well, later for this.
I say, I ain't watching this game in the ball.
You know what I'm saying?
I ain't watching this game to ball.
Let me focus on Kansas City.
And so then when I turn back,
it just so happens.
I'm turning back and Purdy is back to pass
and Armstead knocks the ball out of his hand.
I'm like, well, damn.
Yeah.
I don't miss the lion's share of the game.
I don't know, Ocho.
I want the guy to succeed, but I won't, I want excellence.
And if I can get excellence at one spot as opposed to mediocre average at two spots,
give me, give me excellence, give me, give me eliteness.
Right.
Well, you know what?
I'm this, I will say this.
What you'll say?
Despite what we may think.
Despite what we may want.
Despite what we may, that him not getting in week four,
I'm expecting him to be getting more.
plays on both sides of the ball.
The fact that the coach says it was a personal decision,
I know things aren't looking right in practice,
which is why you're not being done in the game.
That's the way everything goes.
If it looks right in practice,
then you do it in the game on Sundays.
I just,
I want them to give them more time on one side of the ball.
Listen, you are you going to play this year?
I don't think it's the Jags.
I think it's the Jags.
I don't think it's the Jags.
I think the Jags wanted to bring him alone slow, Ocho.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, well, we bring him a long slow, what, on defense?
Because you should be playing every rep on offense, every rep.
But see, that's not the thing.
Time says he could play both.
He wants to play both.
The fans want him to play both.
So now it puts Jacksonville in a tough situation.
Jacksonville needs to do what's in the best interest for the Jags.
And that's what they're going to do.
And so I said, look, yes, we're going to give you that ability,
but right now we want you to.
to focus on one, be great at one, and then as you, as we move forward, but they're trying
to balance it out.
Okay, we'll give you 30 plays here, 30 plays there.
We'll give you 35 and 35, but.
Hell, he ran more plays in that in college.
Yes.
But he ain't going up against the same level of player.
Yeah.
And he went up in college.
Right.
I like it.
He's going to be all right, though.
I'm going to that game Monday, though.
ain't that's a 10 minute flight i don't know i just want i want him to be great
whether it's a wire receiver a cornerback and then as time go maybe year two year three he's
able to do both of him he can be great because if you can't be great at if you can't be great at both
what are we doing oh cho yeah you got to you got to what do what do we what are we what are we
what are we doing yeah well listen you got to live you got to let him live out a dream you got to let him
if he can do it. He believes he can do it. He's going to put it in the work through try and do it,
even though it's never been done before. Consistently, let him have at it. We'll see how it turns out
in the three, three, four, five years from now. But in the process of that, do we suffer as a team?
No, they're going to be all right. They're three and one. They three and one. So are they doing
something right? Yeah, I thought they, uh, look, if you just, you,
told me i would not have taken them to beat the win today not today i wouldn't i wouldn't
i wouldn't have picked them to win today yeah but it just goes to look that division might be
look indy andy look good indy should have won that game today yeah they gave that game away
mistakes yes thanks they gave that game away um i just man i want i want him to like i want him to be great
And if it's at one of the other, but I don't want him to be,
I don't want him to be, I don't want him to be,
me, be mediocre in two spots.
Right.
Be great, be a great corner, be a great receiver.
I just, man.
Yeah.
Because he, he, he is talented, though, Joe.
But I just, I think I'm going to get great at one and then I'll,
hey, come over and let me dabble with the other.
I get a prime example.
show hey
then let show hey
he says
I want to do pitch
they said okay
but when he just
focuses on one
what does he look like
great
he a monster
hold on
hey honestly
when he focused on both
he's still a monster
I don't see any pitch
and then go hit
then go slug home runs too
same game
you see what he did last year
50 50
yeah
this year
pitched a little bit
well he didn't pitch till late
but you see
they sprinkled it in
we'll let you pitch 14 games
we're not going to give you the full docket
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
then we're going to shut you down
get that bat
now he'll set the Dodgers record
most home runs in the season
yeah how many
how many hit this year you think?
I think he hit 55 or 56
godly
well he already had the
record. He broke, he broke his record. It was his record.
Because remember he had, what, he had 50, I think, you know, 55 homers last year.
Like, I think he had about 60 stolen bases, but he'll 50-50 guy.
He's going to win another MVP.
I think here at Aaron Judge, clearly he and Aaron Judge are the two best hitters in baseball.
You know, you know I hit 40 home runs in high school, huh?
With a football. Well, playing with a ball?
Nah, what you're talking about at Beach High?
Hey, look at my phone, huh?
No, the Falcons beat the commanders 3427.
The Falcons went from the worst loss in franchise history
to see it a decade of an impressive win over 2024 playoff team.
Rahim Morris said wins was the team's apology to its fans.
Bijan Robinson had a career high, 181 scrimmage yards.
Michael Pennis, Jr., bounced back in a big way,
A career high, Ocho.
He was 20 of 26, 313 yards, two touchdowns through one interception.
But we'll forgive that, considering that how well he played.
Yeah.
Man, Bijan Robinson so smooth, man.
Damn, he's smooth.
Hey, he's nice.
Hey, he's so electric.
He's so exciting.
One of those players that you hold your breath when he gets the ball,
because ain't no telling what's going to happen.
You don't know which way he's going.
you don't know who angles he's in a break he's going to do somebody he's going to shake somebody
ass up hey he's really good the first man is not bringing him down the first man is not making that
tackle hey oh jo you see what they try to do now man they're trying to get be wags and coverage
oh no you can't do that that's a mismatch yeah that's not it used to not be a mismatch
yeah that's a bwags he could thought he could come down hill and thump but he could also
We'll cover. Michael Pennix, Jr. was 20 of 26, 313, two touchdowns. Bejohn Robinson, 17 for 75, one touchdown. Al Jare, 16 for 51, one touchdown.
37 rushes, 128 yards. Drake London, eight catches, a buck 10, one touchdown. Bejohn Robinson,
four for 106, no touchdowns. Kyle Pitts, Sr., five for 70, and a touchdown.
So they had it going. They ran the ball extremely well. They threw the ball incredibly well.
did not play that bad, Ocho, but they fell behind.
They ended up falling behind.
Debo had six for 72 receiving, and a touchdown.
Luke McCaffrey had two for 21 on the touchdown.
Zach Ergs had two.
Mariotta was 16 or 27, 156, two touchdowns.
Let me see what the team stats.
Damn, because it doesn't look like they had a whole lot of plays.
Okay, they had 51, Washington had 51.
the Falcons had 64.
You run about 60 to 60
to 65 plays total in an NFL
game. But it had 435
total yards.
It was one team, Washington,
this is why Washington lost.
They'll 1 or 8 on 3rd down.
The other team was 6 or 12.
Yeah, that'll do it every time.
Time of possession was almost 10 minutes in favor
of the Falcons.
they needed this game after they stuck it up last week yeah they needed and i love the way
pennies bounce back oh cho i love uh uh but that city would have been on fire they lost two in a row
like that well i guess now people say well now i see why they fired uh um i hear you man they's gonna
win this game where they fired i could not stop it oh that one number of
That was a number of scapegoat, man.
Ocho, I thought you said Cleveland will go make this game close.
What are what?
What are the end of what?
2710.
3410.
Golf through two touchdown passes to Armand Ross, St. Brown.
The Lions beat the Browns 3410 for its third straight win.
The Lions and the Joe Flacco twice in the first half scored 20 straight points for 13 point lead at half.
St. Brown has three touchdown catches in his last three games.
He has six receiving touchdowns this season.
the second most in the first four games
of a season in franchise history
trailing only Megatron, Calvin Johnson,
who had eight in 2011.
St. Brown is also the NFL's first player
with six receiving touchdown
in his team's first four games
since the inner season
since Atlanta's Calvin Riddley had
that same number in 2018.
Man, that joke will be getting open.
Hey, every time.
He is a elite
precise route runner you can't press them you can't play off everything about it and they'd be
stacking it they put him in that bunch formation don't you what you're gonna do it's a rap and he'll
block and so he confused you because a lot of times he may it say like he's blocking he doesn't
leak that to the flat and get his ass open he's nice he nice in the slot he can listen to be
small he can actually go on the outside even though they don't ask him to do it he can go on
outside and just get it off the muscle one-on-one you get up there and press if you want to
you could be standing in the back of that goddamn jersey j uh jamo um jerry golf of 16 to 27
168 two touchdowns and one pick uh that was a great pick by uh denzil denzil ward yeah because
he just kept sinking they ran the park and tried to run the deep the deep cross he didn't
have no threat in the flat so he kept sinking kept going
A lot of times, guys don't do what they're supposed to.
But Jamir Gibbs had 15 carries for 91 yards of a touchdown.
Hey, he was.
That boy be running, man.
Joe Flacko was 16 to 34, 184, two interceptions.
Azele Bond, nobody really did anything.
Azele Bond had three for 58.
Judy was three for 48.
Junkins, four for 33.
Junkins did run the ball really well today.
He had 21 carries for 82 yards on the touchdown.
but Detroit look good.
Detroit's flying around.
They got out of Blacko.
Aidan Hutchinson, two sacks.
Are you sure?
He's not going to get, what you call the money?
I think he is.
He's going to get Michael money.
Okay.
He's going to get it, though, Joe.
All right.
He going to get it.
How many sacks does Hutch have got now, Ash?
This season?
Three?
three that's it so that one against uh the one against lamar and two today yeah i think am i might be right
how much long how much longer did the browns stay with flacco wow oh oh we but that's a good one
is the fansky on the hot seat like the ball was yeah because that that that that that that that that that
comes in the play. If his job
is secure,
they might let flack or ride this thing
out unless it just gets horrible.
They're not winning. If
I'm a defense, Ochoe, it's tough.
Because we got a good, a defense good enough to
win that can keep us in game.
But our offense keep putting us back out there
and it wears us down. And then
yeah, I would, I would just
He got four sacks on Joe. Oh, four, okay.
But he probably got a bunch of, he got
how many four? Well, we know he got one force fumble.
that's what's backbreaking because as a defense we know we're good enough right
but right now our offense can't help us and he got two force fumbles on show he'll get
he'll get it uh what do we do uh golf has been nearly target st brown he's completed 87
percent of his um he's completing 87 percent of his passes
when he targets St. Brown, 9.9 yards of attempt.
And comparing his 69% completion rate with 6.8 yards per attempt
when targeted all other guys.
So, hell, he definitely perfect, no matter who he's throwing to,
but he's really old point when he threw to St. Brown.
Dan Campbell described the connection between golf and St. Brown
as an art form.
Josh Blackwell blocks the field goal to preserve the Bears' rally,
25, 24 over the Raiders.
Chicago had four takeaways
for the second game in a row,
allowing the Bears to survive
a mid-performance by Caleb Williams
and Ben Johnson's offense.
They gained 271 yards,
just 69 on the ground.
Ben Johnson said, that's a huge character
to win for our team.
I just love it for them.
Let's see here.
I'm trying to find.
Try to see what these things.
That's look like.
Nice like this, sigh.
I wish that rain drops would fall.
I don't want to see.
I want to see.
Oh, here.
Damn.
Nice like this sign.
Boy, Bango's putting BT-A.
They're going to put nothing, Ocho.
Stop saying that.
I'm telling you.
What you're telling me, Ocho?
Tell me what you're telling me.
The Bengals are going to beat the Broncos tomorrow.
Tell Pat Certain, don't even show up because Uno going to have $150.
Nah, not against the Bronch.
I mean, he might on Ross, but he ain't going to get that on a PS2.
No, PS2 is following Chase.
Chase's going to have $150.
Now, you know, when he followed Chase last year, they targeted a five.
don't do that you'll see i have spoken you try to speak it ain't no power in your tongue
the bear's spoiled a breakout performance by ashton gentie who rushed for 138 yards on 21
carriers and became the first rookie ocho with three touchdowns in the game since bow jackson
in 1987 against seattle uh gentee rushed for a touchdown and caught two scoring passes
Gene, he was balling today.
He was bawling, and I like, you know what I like that he did?
He went back to his stands too.
Well, he wanted, he wanted to stay in the stands.
It was them that changed it.
Yeah, but he, listen, he was in it today.
On that touchdown, he's standing straight up.
Yeah, Ocho, Gino, you got to be better, bro.
What happened?
I missed that part.
Three interceptions.
That's what happened.
Oh, oh, oh, oh.
that's that's what happened you got to be better ohcho this team is not good enough to
overcome those kind of mistakes or play from behind no 14 to 21 17 two touchdowns three
picks they had four turnovers three picks and a gentie fumble
They're not that good to overcome that.
Congrats to the Patriots for beating the Panthers.
Drake May had an unbelievable game.
Drake May.
Carolina went right down the field and scored, don't you?
I'm like, okay, okay, they're going.
It's going to be one of them games back to back.
Yeah, I thought so.
They scored and that was about it for them.
Drake May was 14 of 17, 203, two touchdowns.
Stefan Diggs had his best game as a pat, six for one-on-one.
Okay, Diggs.
Get them boys that business, what?
Bryce Young was 18 or 31-51 touchdown.
He was relieved.
Andy Donne was five or six for 58 yards in a touchdown.
But nothing to write home about.
And the bills, they beat, kept the Saints winless.
Now it's time for our final segment of the evening.
It's time for Q&A.
Let's go.
Who they, who they think?
They're going to beat them Bengals.
Who they?
Who they?
Lon 715 said,
who's the best quarterback y'all seen, past or present,
against all our blisses.
And Uncle, Shea by Laporteur, will be coming.
to my local ABC store in Alabama.
Man, people were afraid to blitz.
It was hard to blitz Peyton and Brady.
And Brady.
Because they knew you were coming.
Yeah.
And know exactly where the open person was.
So I would probably, I mean, and for guys that can't run.
See, a mobile quarterback, I want to blitz him because, oh, Cho, I wanted to make a decision right now.
I don't want him to have time to think.
So I'm going to speed his ass up.
I'm going to make you make a snap decision.
Right.
Those other guys, Brady and Manning, they know you coming.
And know exactly what it all goes.
And they pretend like they don't know you coming.
Mm-hmm.
I would say who you want, who you want.
I'll take who you don't want.
You want Brady or you want Manning against all our blitz.
I probably, I'll probably go up Manning.
I take Brady.
Big Nuke ambassador, getting ready to bring Title Town back home.
I guess he's talking about
the title town is the Packers Green Bay
Big nuke in back
Oh, hold on
No, I guess he's talking about
Kansas City because he's like same guy
Mahomes plus one musket
plus one shotgun equals too many weapons
I like that
That's a good one
A's go crazy
Let's talk about Mitchell
He'll be a top three cornerback
In the NFL in my eyes
If he's already happening
and Cooper got that I-N-T.
I agree.
Hey, Mitchell, they put him on the, uh, a Bucca,
because Bucca was going crazy on everybody else.
Yeah.
Abuka had a nice, nice look yesterday.
Oh, yeah.
Went for about 67.
Uh, Kimberly Norwood Union said,
oh, I hope Malik neighbors is all right.
And the Giants have something special in Jackson Dark.
I hope he's all right, too.
But the news does not look good for, uh,
He tore his ACL.
I know.
Yeah.
Man, that's messed up.
Here we go again.
I'm going to say it again.
Boy, you can have my knee.
They're creaky.
Jason Zipsdorf.
People complain about college overtime rules.
At least there's no ties in college football.
Duane Lockhart.
Dau Bears.
Keith Oliver said, it's still Tampa Bay, guys.
Still Tampa Bay.
Smith says, I'm a Packer fan, and I'm super embarrassed right now.
What the F did I watch?
That joy and love, bro, be having me furious.
Yes, and I understand why.
I understand why.
Red, I said, why is Ocho trying to steal nightcap blueprint?
Oh, wise, Acho, my bad, Acho.
What he did?
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Well, we've started Nightcap going after the games.
There's a lot of other people that started doing that also.
but we were the originators and people like I spin on it.
So they come to us.
They come to us, Ocho.
Yeah.
Philip Turner said,
how y'all feel about the coach after this game?
I feel like the coach gave one away.
They did.
That's what I feel like.
Dr. Frank L. Bellamy, cue the theme music.
We them boys.
Y'all, not them boys.
Slow down, slow down a little bit.
Pump your brakes.
No rush 75.
Ocho Brown's number one defense, child please.
one pride.
Lions.
Babel Patel said, what y'all think about Lamar faking an injury because he was getting his,
you know what, handed to him.
The chiefs are still the chiefs.
Offence is going to be explosive once Rashid, once Rashid Rice is back in two weeks.
Yeah, that's already.
I'm going to take a man that's word.
Man said he had, they said he had diagnosed with a hamstring issue.
I've never known Lamar to duck any smoke, so.
Nah.
First of all, even if they try to steal, look,
we don't have no copyright on who can go on after the game.
Right.
There's only one unko, don't you.
They don't break the game down.
They can't tell stories like we can tell
because they ain't been through what we've been through.
It's different.
So we different.
Different.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
A, Bill's fans, really?
Y'all want us to spend 10 minutes
to talk about y'all, y'all beat the Saints.
Patriots fans, really?
Carolina?
Y'all happy about that?
Now, y'all you got the door blow down your last week.
Y'all remember last week?
Y'all wasn't crying then.
Y'all didn't say, hey, man, talk about us, talk about us.
Now, you know, stop it.
They got the win.
They got the win today.
DJ said, go birds.
He means the Eagles.
Chris said, you play the game.
You play to win the game.
There's no ties in sports.
The NFL is, NBA is king.
Chris, you don't even believe that.
You don't even believe that.
NBA is king, what?
No, he said, it's king.
He said the NFL is trash because they have ties.
Man, please.
Andrew Carr said,
Packers are still undefeated in Jerry's world.
True.
Todd F.G. said,
Ocho, I turned 24 today.
Where were you, when you were 24,
what would you tell your 24-year-old self
if you had a chance.
24, I was in the league.
I was in my,
Ocho was in the league.
I was in the league.
What year?
What year?
2004?
No, when you were 24.
24?
By the way, happy birthday, bro.
Happy birthday,
I was in the league giving him hell.
Hey, I had Roger Goodell taking Tylenol.
I was on the customer making my first Pro Bowl.
Yeah, what I would tell myself.
Oh, them's in good days.
You're better than you think.
Don't beat yourself up.
You're going to make mistakes.
You're not perfect.
And falling down is easy.
The hard part is getting up.
And when you get up, stand up, brush yourself off, go at it again.
Tyrant said, is it time for the Browns to go to Dylan or Sodor Sanders?
Not happening.
I think we're, I think we're a couple of weeks away from that.
Yeah.
I do.
Unless the fancy job is on the line, he is not making a switch this early.
The ball made that switch for a reason.
Absolutely. Brea Carter said, Uncle Ocho, today is my 30th birthday. Happy birthday, Brea. Can I get a happy birthday? Also, are you guys going to bring back trivia or Spellosico? Yes, we absolutely are going to bring back Spellosinko and dunk on. We need to find somebody else because the person that's picking the question is now is trash. I don't want to know the person that's picking these trivia questions these words is ass.
Wait, could you take
See what, see what happened
When you don't know the answers
Oh, I wasn't supposed to say that
My bad, my bad, I'm supposed to keep that at the house
That's why it's called trivia
Man, but
See, Ash, look, I'm going to do the words for you, Ocho
I'm going to do the word for you
Nah, because you, hey, the words you give me
Not even in a thesis
Officially, I said,
overtime rules need to have an established winner.
Nah, they're not going to keep playing like that.
The games are too brutal.
Game is too, bro.
Y'all don't see, it's easy for people to say this
that's never played in an NFL game, Mocho.
Easy, keep playing, keep playing.
It's easy to say that.
First of all, you said, we want both teams,
y'all want everything.
So y'all want to keep playing.
So if you play an extra 30 minutes to hell, so what?
Right.
Yeah.
And a boy to be tired, right?
Like, man, all of them, I just wish everybody that talks about what they could do in an NFL game.
I just want them to go to Lowe's or Home Depot.
I just want them to buy a hard hat like you see these construction workers have.
And I want you to get into line up about 10 yards from your garage.
I want you to get on a windbreaker.
Not a not, you don't have to get a heavy jacket, but a light jacket.
And I want you to run into your garage as hard as you can 60 times.
Man.
And I want you to do it 60 times.
Now, I'm going to say, you know what?
We're going to the overtime.
And then I want you to do it another 10 times.
And then tell me if you think, you know what,
they should continue to play.
No, sir.
Oh, I'd have caught that pass.
Sure you would have.
sure you would.
I'm almost certain you would have called it.
Joe X. Black said,
Uncle Notcho, I'm confused.
As a cowboy fan, can I say foot or ball tonight?
Nope, because you didn't win.
Nope, at all.
Shoalaces, because you're tied.
Hey, boy, I'm waving.
Cam Wood says, how does the clock not run out, Vegas?
Oh, he's.
You talk about that green bait with one second of the clock.
Yeah.
Avenue Citrus said, Ocho tribes raccoon, if the Bengals lose tomorrow.
I like that.
I like that.
I got a lady in Glenville, go whippable.
And now, when the Broncos win tomorrow, I'm going to have that lady to send frozen.
That bull dick and onions.
And you will eat it right on nightcap.
You will eat it on nightcap.
hell no spiritual war exposed lamar saved harbby job for eight years eight years ago john gets
out class by every elite coach year eight lamar still has zero protection can't blame
lamar at all oh it's hard to say you can't blame me at all because he did throw the interception
you get fun of the ball.
Look, at some point in time,
you know, maybe not in the cards.
Maybe it's, you know,
he's going to have to play a couple of more years,
maybe two, three, four more years.
But look, Lamar Jackson is going to want
Josh Allen type money.
Zay Flowers are going to want
a big receiver type money.
Yeah.
That's where we are.
You're going to have to make some decisions.
You got a $20-plus million-dollar linebacker.
You got a $24, $22, $20 million safety.
You got a $19 million corner.
You already got a like a $40-something million dollar quarterback.
You got a $15 million running back.
You're about to have a $26, $30 million wire receiver.
At some point in time, they're going to have to have to,
just as okay it's justified
they're going to have to go to a Super Bowl locho
yeah that window of opportunity
is closing for that as well
you're absolutely right
Bobo Partel said he declined comment
on Lamar's injury wasn't in the tent
and that weak-ass rap
on his half had it was hamstring
he was just worried about protecting his
pass already because Spagg was running
circles around him
I don't know anything about that
man the man said he had a hamstring
injury that's what they said I'm gonna go
with that until we'll see if he's out there next week if he missed some time we'll see how it is
horace tinwell said can you shout out my nine year my nine uh my nine uh my nine and under
pop warner team buffalo stampeters from village florida we're five and o getting ready for the
playoffs averaging 38 points a game gave up zero t ds damn buffalo stampeters and villages
florida let's go congratulations the nine and under team good luck in the playoffs this year
bring the championship home.
A's go crazy.
We're going undefeated this year.
Go birds.
No one can outfight us.
Man.
Undefeated.
I don't know about all that now.
That's a very big move.
Christopher E. Evans Jr. said at some point,
Ravens have to figure out a better way to attack Spags defense.
I don't understand why they didn't learn more to quit game
than they did their first drive to screenplast the Justice Hill touchdown.
They can figure it out sooner or later.
Astro said y'all not mentioning Lamar's all-pro center literally punched the ball out.
I think Lamar ran into the back of him, didn't he?
Yeah.
It was a formal.
Look, if the center don't have the ball, they don't going to blame the center.
I'm sorry.
Right.
Shelly Regens said, oh, Joe, can somebody please get?
get this man some tea.
Yeah,
Ocho, you need some tea.
And you need to go to a jack in the box.
It sound better now.
It ain't this deep no more.
So probably.
97 said, start one, cut, one, trade one.
Fred Warner, Michael Parsons, T.J. Watt, all in their pride.
I'm taking T.J.
Watt.
I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm starting him.
Yeah.
Who's last?
I ain't getting rid of T.J.
He's been a defensive player of the year.
He's always in defensive player of the year consideration.
Right.
So T.J.
So now it's betrayed and cut.
I got to keep that heat-seeking missile, man.
I'll trade, I'll trade Fred.
I'm sorry, Michael.
I got to pass Russia.
Wait.
I need a middle backer.
Oh, okay.
I see what you're doing.
I see what you're saying.
Okay.
Zodjit says 17 said,
what's your prediction on the Jags chiefs?
Jags defense created 13 turnovers already.
I'm taking Chiefs.
Jags are going to win.
Hurrah, Kifo said,
Uncle Ocho,
can y'all wish my Cus Finning a happy birthday,
even though he tried running our fantasy.
League like a dictator. He's a good person.
Finnan,
happy birthday. Cause
say you try to do too much
in the fantasy league, but you're good people
anyway.
JJ said, I'll be a packer fan until
the Ravens get their ish together.
Pepper said, Ocho,
is proud of himself
the way he got the chat
rolling.
Aaron Jones, AJ was on clamped.
He was targeted nine times
and couldn't get any separation. We
blame our OC every game, but our players need to be better, too. Quentin May said, talk nice
about the books. We'll see them in the playoffs. David said Peyton Willis ran 22.48 miles
an hour today, next gen stat on the chase down. What was the guy that tried to chase D.K.,
because he had the fastest net gen stats ever recorded. I think he was over 23.
That was Isaiah Rogers. Yes. He had the fastest ever recorded at 20.
I ain't know he had that kind of speed.
Oh, no, he's fast.
Yeah, he's very fast.
I mean, I saw him run out from under the angle of the quarterback,
but I was like, oh, that's a quarterback.
But, hey, he can go now.
Adam Smith said, I mean, you're not wrong with Cam saying that,
but keeping it real, maybe it wakes day, bro, they got the same team.
Guess what?
They're going to wake up Monday, and that's going to be the same team.
Ain't nobody coming back in there.
No, anybody comes back in there.
No, no Eddie George.
George, no former Earl Campbell, no Mason, no Yancey Thick Penn, none of them got
no, no Javon Curse, no Samari Role, no Blaine Bishop, none of them.
I seen, I seen Samari last night too.
Did you?
Yeah, we had a little.
Danny B. said Cam Ward is a competent head coach and Jesus.
Timothy Humper said, oh, Jim Mark used to call his team's trash all the time.
well he said you know what i remember he said something about uh and uh indy y'all go back and look
it up and they they ask him about the playoffs yeah say playoffs hey that was a classic rant
his quarterback was Peyton manning classic rant hey uncle nocho what's the difference in field
turf what's the difference in grass turf and astro turf would you have different cleats on yes
I would prefer grass
Next I would prefer turf
field turf
and astroturf
they should have never had that
because that was basically
just concrete
with a rug laid over the top of it
I don't know
look I said
Barry Barrett's I don't know
how Barry ain't got knees
and hips are still in alignment
with all that jump cut and he did
Ocho yeah
I don't know
Ricky A said yo what's up on Ocho
do you guys believe NFL needs
to somehow change the current overtime rules
and not allow games to end of the tie.
You play the win, not to tie.
How about them cowboys?
Well, they could go back to the runway, first team score.
Yeah.
Y'all didn't like that.
No.
So now you want both teams to possess the ball.
I thought, why both teams got to possess the ball?
So each team get a chance to win.
That's what you pay you.
Don't you play your defense?
He can stop him.
He ain't going to be satisfied.
Details of here, Ocho.
I opened my red phone.
Ocho put money up on the man.
Let's run it.
Ocho, I'm going to send you an Xbox man and some double A batteries.
No excuses.
Bet on the sticks, man.
No, you don't want to do that.
Trust me, you don't want to do that.
Especially when it comes to the gaming in general,
I mean, the fact that you even challenging someone of my caliber is ridiculous.
English, D.C. said, what is, what is he doing wrong with the defensive side?
Right now, he looks more average to me.
I guess he's talking about Travis Hunter.
I'm assuming you guys ask the coach.
Yay.
Babel Patel said, how do y'all feel about Siriana trash talking Baker?
In my opinion, he should shut the up and worry about how he gets his receivers the ball.
Another head coach, be trash talking on the sideline.
That's his thing.
that, hey, he's adopted the Philly, Philly Way.
Yep.
Robert, the thing is Travis missed anything thrown to him.
He used 40-inch vertical today and almost caught both, came down awkwardly on that one.
It's going to take some time.
I just think there's two, the expectations that you guys thought he was going to just be Travis,
