Starting point is 00:00:00 From NBA champion Stefan Curry comes Shot Ready, a powerful never-before-seen look at the mindset that changed the game. I fell in love with the grind. You have to find joy in the work you do when no one else is around. Success is not an accident. I'm passing the ball to you. Let's go. Steph Curry redefined basketball.
Starting point is 00:00:22 Now he's rewriting what it means to succeed. Order your copy of the New York Times bestseller Shot Ready. Today at Stefan Currybook.com. Oh, we're going to get to the game right here. The Broncos beat the Texas by the score 1815. Will Lutz. 34-yard game winning field goal. It was the Broncos' fourth win this season in a game in which they trail to start of the four quarter.
Starting point is 00:00:45 Mm-hmm. It was also the fourth game this season in which the Broncos defense has not surrendered a touchdown. Six-game win streak along since the 2015 Broncos, when they went on to win Super Bowl Fitty. Say it with me, Ocho. Hey, you see how good that defense is? You see what I mean?
Starting point is 00:01:07 All field goals. You see what I mean? Uh-huh. I know it's not the early 2000s, but when you have a defense like that, where all three levels of your defense is very, very, very good. There's really no weak link. Well, actually, there is one weak link.
Starting point is 00:01:24 They pick on him all the time. Riley Moss. I mean, that would be your weak link. That would be your fish. But other than that, man, shoot. But y'all, y'all willing to deal it. But guess what? When they need to get in field goal, right,
Starting point is 00:01:40 go back and look at when they played the Giants. Yeah. What did the quarterback do, Bo Nix? What did he do? When they played the Eagles when they were down, what did Bo Nix do? When they played the Houston, Texas, and they needed to go,
Starting point is 00:01:51 what did Bo Nicks do? If great as the defense played, if Bo Nix doesn't do what he, he does right they're not winning bo necks 18 to 37 173 two touchdown intercepted he was sacked once davis mills was 17 to 31 37 he was
Starting point is 00:02:10 sacked twice they got the broncos had four sacks if I'm not mistaken I think I'm almost certain they're leading the league in sacks um they did a great job stuffing to run 28 rush attempts uh for the texin 77 yards the broncos
Starting point is 00:02:26 had 18 rushes for 173 yards. But, you know, I just don't get to Broncos sometimes. I mean, sometimes they're like, they just go to up and down the field, just move up and down the field. And then again, the next day, you know, like, bro, what, what happened?
Starting point is 00:02:44 Why are y'all struggling? Hey, I don't, it's difficult in the red zone. I told you. See, your own team having problems with it, too. Hell, they barely got to the red zone. Hold on. You move up. and down you move up and down the field you get in the red zone and then you can't score it's not
Starting point is 00:03:00 it's very difficult it's hard it's hard especially if you don't score from far out but once you get inside that 20 boy you got to be creative as hell or you got to have some players that can win one on one and be phenomenal that's very difficult oh no oh so we only got to the red zone one time but y'all sorry and we had two turnovers and y'all hey listen y'all had two turnovers y'all were able to overcome it we had two turnovers we weren't able to overcome it and we scored 38 matter of fact we scored 42 we scored 42 now what you think how you think we're looking if we had y'all defense come on ocho You want everything.
Starting point is 00:04:02 This man wore everything. This man wore everything. Who does Broncos have, who the Broncos play next week? She'll be coming up to a buy. Yeah, so we own our buy. So listen, I'm good. I ain't got to worry about nothing.
Starting point is 00:04:21 Oh, the Broncos got the Raiders on Thursday. Yeah, y'all, y'all going to lose that game. Oh, Lord, have mercy. Y'all going to lose that game. We go sack Gino by 10 times. No, I'm saying I understand how football works. Understand how the football guards work. It's just the way it is.
Starting point is 00:04:39 As bad as the Raiders have played this season in general, for some reason, it's a game like this one where you expect. You expect the Broncos win, but. I don't expect them to win. I expect them to play good. I expect the Raiders to play bad, and we win. Okay, okay. Yeah, we're going to see who get the last laugh.
Starting point is 00:05:00 All that laughing and Kiki and you was doing today, we're going to see, we're going to see next Sunday. We're going to see who get the last laugh. Bet that. This, my Hispanic heritage hat, if you place an order tonight on 84. You will automatically be entered to win the signed hat. And,
Starting point is 00:05:21 and one of these will have bingles suck Shannon 84 oh I put it on the chair it's silver so hey boy you're feeling good boy you're feeling good
Starting point is 00:05:47 I mean listen rightfully so but boy you're going to be in for the rude awakening boy gonna be in for the rule to wait hold on I got a pee Pee you don't see that
Starting point is 00:06:08 some lucky fans going to win that and and the Hispanic Charity chat Yeah Ocho team
Starting point is 00:06:37 I'm Ocho was ready glow after they took that got the on side kick and end up scoring that touchdown y'all know Ocho was up there happy he was celebrating it was short-lived though
Starting point is 00:06:51 It was very, very short-lived. Somebody is going to win, well, you have to buy these, but somebody's going to win this one. Purchase something on 84.com and automatically be enrolled, entered to win this Hispanic heritage. Yeah. Oh, okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:07:10 So if you purchase merchandise, you'll automatically be entered to win all four of these hats. Hopefully it's a Raven, a Steelers, or a Bengals, or a Browns fan because everybody else know they yeah Ocho you was happy
Starting point is 00:07:29 you were there were y'all scored that touchdown they got the all-side kick and just scored again you were happy I was hyped absolutely I was hyped
Starting point is 00:07:38 I was jumping up and down I was here my kids looking at me boy what daddy was wrong I say nothing boy we about to win baby what you mean what's wrong
Starting point is 00:07:46 no that ain't about to happen and man that's man that's such a oh my goodness man if i could explain the let down in in the hurt and then boom it hit me couldn't happen why do i always do this why do i always do that you invest so much into a team not only did i play for him but i still i still support him i still show i know you do and i'm invested into it i'm invested into it i'm investing into the seasons as if i'm a fan um i enjoy the game of football as if i never played it as if i never played it that's why anytime i go to a game
Starting point is 00:08:20 Like the fan experience for me is like, it's like it's new to me because I've never been on the other side. I've never been in the stands. I've always been on the field. So I enjoy so much from a different perspective, it hurts a little bit more. It hurts a little bit more because I played the game. I played the game and I want and I'm looking and I know what you're supposed to do. That's why I said you can't divest, you can't become desensitized because you care too much. It's nice try, though.
Starting point is 00:08:52 I mean, you try to convince yourself of that, but you and I both know that's not the case. Oh, Joe, the Minnesota Vikings go in. They get J.J. McCarthy back. Yeah. And they go in and they beat the Detroit Lions by the score of 27 to 24. J.J. McCarthy, 14 to 25, 143, two touchdowns, one interceptions.
Starting point is 00:09:13 Aaron Jones, Sr. had nine carries, 78 yards. They ran the ball 29 times for 142. But it was Minnesota's defense. Jared golf was 25 or 37, 284, 2 touchdowns. But they stuffed Sonic and Knuckles. Yeah. 20 rushes, 65 yards, and one costly turnover, David Montgomery, fumbled the ball. And that was the difference in the ball game.
Starting point is 00:09:38 But they got after Jerry golf, they sacked him five times. Yep. Minnesota played really well. J.J. McCarthy, I thought, played well today. He was able to move around by some time. but especially that backbreaker where he read the ball he broke contained
Starting point is 00:09:54 he got the ball in the air zone Justin Jefferson he had a touchdown Addison had two catches for 48 yards Jetta had six for 47 Hawkinson had two for 11 but well listen it was it was the defense of the day on it was the deep of the day neither offenses had
Starting point is 00:10:11 you know extreme extreme crazy production you know what we're used to seeing and I knew if Ryan Flores could find a way to stop the run I mean, most of the time when team the run, when Detroit can't run the ball, they're still able to be efficient through the air. They're still able to be efficient through the air.
Starting point is 00:10:28 But Brian Flores, dialing up that goddamn pressure, you know, excuse me, getting golf off the spot. I mean, they play really real. You got pressure because, you know, he's not going nowhere. He can't go nowhere. He can't move. Um, both quarterbacks were sacked. five times.
Starting point is 00:10:51 Campbell, Barnes, Lacey, Hutchinson got a sack, Mohammed got a sack, and then for the Hardgrave, Wilson had two sacks, Redmond had a sack, Drake Rodriguez had a sack, but I was surprised
Starting point is 00:11:06 if somebody would have told me that Minnesota was going to go there and win that ball game, I wouldn't have believed them. Because I thought Detroit was playing really, really well. Really well. The only reason, if they did tell me that Minnesota would in the game,
Starting point is 00:11:20 the only reason I would believe them is the fact that I understand how good Minnesota's defense is. Now, some weeks, some weeks they get trashed. I think it might have been last week if I'm not mistaken. They look abysmal. They look horrible. I think it was last week. But I understand
Starting point is 00:11:34 when they're playing well and they're playing on all cylinders and everyone is playing as a unit, they're as good as any other defense in the NFL. And it showed today. It showed the day. And being able to stop Jamir Gibbs in Montgomery is a tall, It's a tall task, and they did one hell of a job at it.
Starting point is 00:11:52 Well, I think the thing is, Ocho, when you look at this, they've got sacked five times. They had committed 10 penalties, which was a season high for 76 yards. They were 5 of 17 on third down. We know Detroit is very, very good in third down because normally they're third and manageable. You start keeping, you keep getting those third and long, those third and eight, third and 10, third and 12s. You start keep playing behind the sticks.
Starting point is 00:12:14 Five of 13, 17? Right. Nah, nah. So that means give Minnesota credit. Like you said, because their defense was getting them off the field on third down. They were three or three on fourth down. But I think you had to give Minnesota credit. J.J. McCarthy played well.
Starting point is 00:12:33 He didn't have to do a whole lot with his arm. They were able to run the football and keep Detroit somewhat off balance. But Detroit, hey, that's the thing is that. Greatness doesn't just show up. It's built. one shot, one choice, one moment at a time. From NBA champion, Stefan Curry, comes Shot Ready, a powerful never-before-seen look at the mindset that changed the game.

Don't miss Stephen Curry's New York Times bestseller, Shot Ready, available now. How you thought you, whatever you thought was going to happen, you don't know. It ain't no guarantee that you're going to do the same thing you did last year offensively. You see it's different. It's a big difference from year to year.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Oh, we did this last year. Oh, we went to this last year. It ain't no guarantee. It's not a guarantee that it's going to play out for you this year. The Colts, six turnovers. Handed to Steelers evicted, 2720. Fans had a funeral at Steelers' defense aside at your shore stadium before a kickoff. Inside the stadium, there was a resurrection.
Starting point is 00:14:09 The defense got five sacks, forced the season-high six takeaways, and held the league's best offense to 20 points. That right tackle, I think it's Braddon, Braden Smith. Yeah. He got his ass kicked today. Oh, yeah, absolutely. He got a kick. He flat out got a kick today.
Starting point is 00:14:27 He should go, an apology now. Daniel Jones, he was awful. Ain't nowhere around that. He played terrible today. But that right tackle gave it up. Now, Jones did get a little unlucky, trying to throw a ball out to the left side. He got bats it,
Starting point is 00:14:43 and it carers back and the Steelers guy intercepted. But the mere fact that it was still a game, Mocho. Yeah. After five sacks and six takeaways and it's still a game, let you know just how good they can be if they don't turn it over. It's all over. Yeah. And that was the difference in this game.
Starting point is 00:15:03 Yeah. They turned the ball over. And the fact that it was still a game, Daniel Jones, listen, it wasn't a good, a good day for him. But he still threw a three, four. 342. 3.42. Yeah, he's still through for 3.42.
Starting point is 00:15:17 And the funny thing about it is if the Steelers didn't play, didn't play well on defense, they would have got obliterated. Yeah. If they didn't turn, if Daniel Jones and the Indianapolis coach didn't turn the ball over, they would have got obliterated. Aaron Rodgers was 25 or 35, 203, 1 touchdown. They ran the ball 23 times for 38 yards, which is terrible. but like you said, their defense bailed them out today.
Starting point is 00:15:46 Their defense absolutely bailed them out today. When you get six takeaways and sack the quarterback five times, that's a score that probably should be, you probably should win by three, four touchdown. Yeah, absolutely. But it just goes to show you that Andy has a good defense and the Steelers are going to have to do a lot better offensively, Ocho. Because a lot of teams not going to give you six takeaways.
Starting point is 00:16:10 No. Hey, hell, you get one or two. You're probably going to win the game. You get six. It should be a blowout. Six? Man, that happens in high school. Getting six most of the time, your quarterback has to be horrible.
Starting point is 00:16:30 Yeah. Horrible. So, you know, Daniel Jones had a bad day, but he's looked phenomenal all season long. He's looked phenomenal all season long. So having one day like this, okay, boom. Yeah. I'm human. I'm human.
Starting point is 00:16:42 I'm making error. I'm making mistakes. I'm back to the drawing board. Monday morning, you reset, and you come on back next week and pick up where you left off the week before you played the Steelers. Right. Falcons, Rahim Morris, said the Patriots defense simulated a snap on a key four downplay by clapping,
Starting point is 00:17:05 leading to an intentional grounding penalty by Michael Pennix. The Falcons trailed 2423 with 209 remaining at the end of the game, And the Patriots, 48-yard line, when Ryan Nozzles snapped the ball on the second down, on the second down before Pennix, the other offensive line was ready for it. The Patriots immediately pressure Pennix because nobody else moved who threw the ball towards the dirt in the direction of Kyle Pitts. Penix was called for an intentional grounding, resulted in a loss of down, and a 10-yard penalty. Defense simulating a snap count, or snap is a 15-yard penalty on the NFL, discerning signals.
Starting point is 00:17:44 It's rarely called, however, because it's hard to pinpoint where exactly the clap or the sounds coming from in a stadium. But see, that's why you don't clap. That's why when you're on the road, normally what they do, Ocho. You have the guard. Are you ready?
Starting point is 00:17:59 Yeah, I'm ready. He tapped the center, you tap the center. He flashed in front of his hand. When you clap, come on now. But you ain't in college no more. That's what they do in college. Right. Well, you shouldn't have been in this situation.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Hell, you tie the ball game up and your damn kicker come out there and shake the PAT. That's what's heartbreaking. Yep. All you got to do is make the PAT. Put pressure on the Patriots to go down and get a field goal.
Starting point is 00:18:31 Yep. Man. It was a good. Hey, Drake, May, do you realize the goddamn Patriots to seven and not seven and two? Yeah. I know another team to say,
Starting point is 00:18:43 who also know a team that's not seven and two i mean who you talk about who you talk about i know a team that's seven and two another team that's seven and two i said the patriots i know another team besides the preaches or 72 oh you're talking about the bills i know another team shoot i think that's about it it ain't who you talk about who i know who is it I know a team that's only won like three games. Yeah, it's a few of them. Yeah. What are you talking about Baltimore?
Starting point is 00:19:22 Give a, I mean, and somebody, they give it like 40 points a game, like it ain't nothing. We scope 40 a game too. But it's never on the W side. I mean, listen, sometime life, a life give your limits,
Starting point is 00:19:37 you make fruit punch. Uh, the Patriots. they are seven and two uh drake may was 19 to 29 two touchdowns one in aception uh falcons got after mocho they sack them six times dang um um uh drake london had an outstanding game he gave gonzalez fits hey you know what he gave gonzalez ass fits that's a great matchup too big on big well he lost well gonzalez lost that one yeah big on big big on big I mean, shoot, Drake London would, what,
Starting point is 00:20:15 9 for 118 and, a, 3 TDs, huh? Three. Yeah, Bijan didn't really get off the day. He only had 12 carries for 46. Mm-hmm. That's not enough. 15 rush attempt, 71 yards. Hey, the receiver.
Starting point is 00:20:33 Douglas got off. Yeah. I think it was revealed after the game. His uncle was shot and killed. Yeah, last night. Mm-hmm. Stefan Diggs had a touchdown. Now, excuse me, Hunter Henry had 4'151.
Starting point is 00:20:48 But the Patriot, Gonzales, man, he gets edged a lot too. Yeah, he injury, he, he's really good, though. Oh, yeah, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. When he healthy, I'm talking about it all the way right, boy, he's nice. Hell, I ain't seen him, I ain't seen him play a whole year yet. He's nice. But I think Newland's going to be a tough out. they're well-coked
Starting point is 00:21:13 they're good enough offensively defensively you know look Brable cut his teeth on that side of the football so you know they're going to be able to get out the people defensively but
Starting point is 00:21:29 they're hey and they've already gone to Buffalo and beaten Buffalo in their building bless you so it's going to be the AMC East is a two team race it's a two team race
Starting point is 00:21:47 it's Buffalo and New England that's it the thing is that you can't afford to have any slip-ups when you play those other two teams so when you play the jazz and the Dolphins you're supposed to do what you're supposed to do so you got nothing worry about but
Starting point is 00:22:02 I thought Atlanta was going to pull this one out. I can't kick a mister P.A. T. Ocho. You go down the field, Drake London, make a hell of a catch. A hell of a catch. And then you trot your ass out there and shake it. Shankopotamus. Hey. The fact that the Patriots, man, had a 20 year, had a 20 year bid, man,
Starting point is 00:22:29 of nothing but consistent, consistent success at the quarterback position and then figured it out already and got another damn quarterback and it got them. Hell, I think Matt Jones would have been fired for them. Had they not messed,
Starting point is 00:22:44 had coach Belichick not try to have a special teams coach and a defensive coordinator be his offensive coordinator. Because remember what he was like when he had Josh McGaigne? They went to the playoffs that year. You were nice.
Starting point is 00:22:57 You been nice. But then I'm just saying, I'm trying to just give the example of the dolphins is, well, we ain't got the right answer since God damn Arino. Nope. And the damn, the goddamn Patriotum figured it out that fast. Greatness doesn't just show up. It's built. One shot, one choice, one moment at a time. From NBA champion, Stefan Curry, comes shot ready, a powerful never-before-seen look at the
Starting point is 00:23:23 mindset that changed the game. I fell in love with the grind. You have to find joy in the work you do when no one else is around. Success is not an accident. I'm passing the ball to you. Let's go. Steph Curry redefined basketball. Now he's rewriting what it means to succeed. Shot ready isn't just a memoir. Don't miss Stefan Curry's New York Times bestseller Shot Ready, available now. Oh, Joe, your team, the Carolina Panthers.
Starting point is 00:24:06 Hey, hey, hey, talk, talk. Rico Dowdle. Hey, give me the same energy. 130 yards, two touchdowns. A big run in the final minutes to set up Fitzgerald's last second 49-yard field goal. It's the second time this season that Fitzgerald, a rookie from Florida State, has made a game-winning field goal as time expired. Packers start tied in, Tucker Kraft, was carted off the field.
Starting point is 00:24:29 of many believe it was an ACL injury, but they'll wait to get results back tomorrow. LaFleur said it doesn't look good. It's going to be tough, but it's football. Other guys are going to have to step up. I was surprised that when Cuba Hubbard came back, that he got more carries than Rico. Last week.
Starting point is 00:24:51 Considering the stretch that Rico had put together, I don't think there's any doubt now. Rico Dowdle is the number one option. And basically, if you're tired, tap your helmet, and we'll send tuber again. But other than that, you ain't bringing your ass out. They talk to it. They talked to coach about it in the media. Like, what are you doing?
Starting point is 00:25:11 Well, young bull got the hot hand. Rico got the hot hand. Hubbard last week, I think Hubbard, if I'm not mistaken, had more carries and whatnot. But boom, coach said, going forward, Rico is going to be the one that get the bulk of the carries. He got the bulk of the carries today. What do he do? 25 carries. for 130 yards and two TDs.
Starting point is 00:25:33 Stay with the person that has a hot hand. I respect Hubbard. I like Hubbard, but right now the office is flowing very, very smoothly through goddamn Regodato. You don't change it just because someone's coming back off injury. Like I said, the thing is, is that the question you ask yourself,
Starting point is 00:25:50 if the guy that comes in for the guy that's injured, and I know the injured guy is the starter, but if the guy that comes in is running the ball better than the starter was before he got injured, that's his job now. It ain't that complicated. I think sometimes we make it. You go back, oh, a starter can lose his job because of injury.
Starting point is 00:26:06 Yeah, the hell he can. You can lose your job if you're out sick. You lose your job sick and let somebody come in and fill in for you and do a better job to you what you was doing before you got sick. Hey. See what that person get that job. 25 for a buck, 32 touchdowns. After what he did to the cowboys, after what he did the week before,
Starting point is 00:26:26 when he went over 200, man, stop. Not playing. They said, Can I man the ball? Absolutely. Their defense was, their defense did a job. A hell of a job. Because they, I mean, I mean, damn,
Starting point is 00:26:40 Green Bay's offense. Jacobs had 17 for 87. They had 25 rushes, 104 yards. Joy Love had 26 and 37, 273, no touchdowns, one interception. He was only sacked once. Bryce Young was 11 of 20, 102 yards. No touchdowns.
Starting point is 00:26:58 was sack once but it was Rico was the difference yeah Rico was the difference yeah man yeah Panthers I told you all we got to do sometimes listen it ain't gonna be pretty every week no sometimes you got to win games like this sometimes you got to win games ugly sometimes we go to the cornerstone you ain't got to put makeup on you ain't you ain't got to be all dolled up put your body on put your house shoes on you know sometimes you got to you got to get it ugly sometimes this is one of them games you get it ugly that's why you say you keep pounding keep pounding it ain't going to be pretty every week you ain't going to throw for 300 400 no you know huh you just got
Starting point is 00:27:49 to win that's it you just got to find a way to win you got to run through you're running back play option after that you got you know you got good receivers McMillan you got legit uh uh legett excuse me hunter winfro jimmy horn but hey they they they even they haven't even had a day or a game yet where they got all them boys involved man and where bright shucker just deal it like a like he like he a deal at the casino that day that day is coming that day is coming where everybody everybody eat you get a ball you get a ball you get a ball you get a ball you get it's coming we didn't need that the day though give it to your bell cow rick it out you hand a You keep pounding.
Starting point is 00:28:30 Man, Joe, this does. Can you imagine what this does? You go to Green Bay and you get a win? What? With this young football team? What? Coaches in there tell them, say, see, when we play our type of football, we can beat anybody.
Starting point is 00:28:41 We can go anywhere and beat anybody. We can play with anybody. We don't have to take a backseat to no one. At all. At all. I just, I just, I just, I just, I just, I don't want us. I'm talking about us. But listen, I'm a huge fan of this team.
Starting point is 00:28:58 I don't want us to become one-dimensional. I don't want us to continuously rely on the running game. Because, you know, what teams are going to start doing, huh? Oh, well, they drop it nine in the box. They drop a nine in the box. You know what? Well, we're going to make Bryce Young beat us with his arm. Can he do it?
Starting point is 00:29:19 Absolutely. Hell, he did it Alabama. He showed flashes of being able to do it in the NFL as well. So, I mean, hey, I'm a man. I'm excited. I'm excited for the boy. I'm sure we got a few Panther fans in the chat. I'm sure the city is happy.
Starting point is 00:29:36 They're elated. Coach, some of the pressures off of him, especially with the way the team is playing now. Bryce Young playing very well. Shoot, he ain't on the hot seat. Ah, let's go. Keep pounding. Jaguio's defensive end,
Starting point is 00:29:54 Trayvon Walker was disqualified in the third quarter after punching Raiders offensive linemen, Stone for set following the Raiders field goal. He punched him? Walker through a violent punch that landed in the face mask of Stone, who was also penalized on the play. The foul's offset, but Walker was the only player kicked out. Walker had just had a surgical procedure on his wrist a month ago.
Starting point is 00:30:18 Walker was penalized, but not ejected for throwing a punch in 2024 game against the Vikings. The fine was $11,817 for a violent act deemed unneutral. necessary. The Jaguars won the game in overtime 30 to 29 after the Raiders failed to convert a two-point conversion. Trevor Lawrence was 23 or 34, 220, no touchdown, one of the reception. They ran the ball 42 times for 151 yards. Gino Smith, 29 to 39, 284, four touchdowns, one interception, he was sacked twice.
Starting point is 00:30:53 Brock Bowers, welcome back. Brock catches, buck 27, three touchdown. Ashton Genty had five catches, 47 yards, and a touchdown. And it looked like he had a guy open for the two-point conversion. Yeah. But the defensive end jumped up and he and not down down. Devin White, 16 tackles, eight solo. Hey, you know what?
Starting point is 00:31:17 This is the one. I was able to see every game today except this one all the way out there in Vegas. I'm not sure. What do you call it? Where certain games, you can't get some. certain games in the area. Yeah. I was able to get every goddamn game except this one.
Starting point is 00:31:35 Yeah. Look, the Jags are five and three. So there's still, what, two games behind, uh, Indy? Right. I mean, it's probably, it's going to come down probably. You'll see how long CJ's out. CJ took a vicious hit. Yeah, I saw that.
Starting point is 00:31:50 I saw that. And that game ended up getting concussed and didn't come back, um, didn't come back in the game. but the jack you know you have to be impressed with them but i don't know what i'm going to get with the jaggs i see one week they go play great and they play beat kansas city yeah and the next week they just go lay an egg yeah so i just don't know the consistency in what i'm going to get yeah and you know it all starts with the quarterback too on every everything starts there if he plays well he has to always be even keel he has to always be even kill he has to always be
Starting point is 00:32:24 even keel defense you don't know what defense is going to show up either That's always been a problem for them as well. Letting up some days they look like the goddamn 85 bells. Some days, it don't look good. And in the ball game, Ocho, we have a new NFL record for Fields are over the field. 68. 68, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. The record was 66 by Justin Tucker in Detroit.
Starting point is 00:32:52 And then this kid, remember Ocho, he kicked the 70 yard in the preseason. Willis, right? Is it Willis or Williams? No, little. Little, okay. What's his first name? His last name is little, but he got a big ass leg. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:03 Oh, yeah. Absolutely. Hey, do you understand? But these guys, the distance, I mean, you know, you got the Dallas kick of Aubrey. He got three kicks over 60 yards. Yeah, he's nice. You got the guy from Jacksonville, not Jacksonville, Tampa. Right.
Starting point is 00:33:17 He kicked a 65 yard earlier this year. The distance in which these guys can drill the ball now, it's incredible. Yeah, see, not only is it incredible. I think you have to understand. where people don't understand how difficult it is to actually kick the ball, they narrowed the goalposts. Not only they've narrowed the goalpost, the further out you go,
Starting point is 00:33:35 the further out you go, the harder it is to be accurate. The harder it is to be accurate with that much power and force and kicking the ball and to be able to control it that far out and want us to go straight down the middle. Or hell, what if you're kicking off the left half? What if you're kicking off the right half? Man, that's very difficult for that damn far out.
Starting point is 00:33:56 So, I mean, that's huge. That's a huge, huge, congrats to Young Bull, you know, in that NFL record, man, because 68, man. Man, that thing would have been good about 72, Ocho. That's, it hit the back of the,
Starting point is 00:34:09 hit the wall. O'F. That kicked to being good from 72. Yeah. Now, he drove it. I mean, he drove it, Ocho. I mean, it didn't, I mean, it didn't get up high,
Starting point is 00:34:20 but he knew he had to drive it in order to get the distance that he wanted. I mean, he hit it flush. He couldn't hit it better. If you were, You put the air on that and they don't get there. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:34:33 No. I mean, oh, Joe, when I first got to the league, guy kick a 50 yard, you're like, oh, my God. Oh, yeah. Now, 50 yard, you expect, got, you're like, it ain't no hope. Like, Lord, please let it make this kick. A 50 yard, you're like, you better make that.
Starting point is 00:34:47 Yeah, that ain't that. That's a BAT for these guys now. Yeah, that ain't nothing. Now, 58, 60, 62. Eddie, as routine. Yes. A routine now. Yes, I just knew I thought the Cowboys kicker would be the first guy to kick of 70.
Starting point is 00:35:03 Albury, I think he's, because he got leg, but it's going to have to be at the end of the half, because they're not going to let you do it at the first court. It's got to be the end of the half and, you know, something like that. And he's going to break it. He's going to break it. They're going to let him do it. They definitely, they're definitely going to let him do it. They're going to come a situation where the Cowboys are playing and they're going to allow
Starting point is 00:35:22 Aubrey to go from 68, 69, hell, maybe even 70. he's going to reset that record because he's in the best situation because he's indoors he's indoors and you see this record was broken in Vegas indoors indoors Tucker broke the record indoors
Starting point is 00:35:39 or somebody that Denver at you know at altitude where the ball travels travels right so if it's going to be outside it's probably that now is that 68 it's probably going to have to be in Denver or indoor indoor where the element
Starting point is 00:35:55 us don't come into play. Damn. Christopher and the 49ers run all over the Giants on the way to winning 3424. McCaffrey recounted for 173 yards from scrimmage, 106 on the ground on 28 carries and 67 yards on five catches a week after a franchise low 10 rushing attempts, Shanahan team ran the ball 39 times for a buck 59. uh i'm not surprised um that's normally how it works when got a lot of his dad uh uh make up about him like okay we got to get our best player to football handy to him uh mac jones played incredibly
Starting point is 00:36:46 well and that's what ocho this is what you want from your backup i need you to keep us afloat until the starter comes back he's done more than that he's been he's been he's been he's been bet he's what I thought he would be in this office. This office is perfect for Matt Jones. I mean, he got great anticipation. They run the football. They do a lot of play action. Right.
Starting point is 00:37:07 A lot of boots, a lot of roles. McCaffrey was great today. Jennings caught a touchdown. Rand a whip, you know, started inside. Ah, got a fact out. Kendrick Bourne did what Kendra born normally does. but it's tough when you you I mean 21 for 1117 yards not bad Ocho Jackson Dart was 2433 one ninety one two touchdowns um
Starting point is 00:37:36 but uh 49ers 49ers 49ers like I said the 49ers the Rams and Seattle you could possibly get three teams out of that division Ocho. Yeah. Hey. Just like you got last year, you got three teams out of the NFC North. Mm-hmm. You might get three teams. I think.
Starting point is 00:38:04 But I thought Matt Jones, 19 or 24, Ocho, 235, two touchdowns. No, no turn. Oh, he fumbled one. He lost the, lost the fumble. They, they're going to come out. It's going to be them in Seattle. They both can come out.
Starting point is 00:38:17 What about the Rams? Oh, man, the Rams is a. You like the. Rams to win the division and those two teams Seattle and 49ers get the wild card? Yeah, absolutely. This is the Rams automatic huh. The Rams automatic, especially once they get Puga back and with Puga
Starting point is 00:38:32 and with Puga's absence, they still cut in the fool because Stafford and got damn Devonti Adams out there having a goddamn ball. But Mac Jones is playing so well, especially when they filter the offense through goddamn, um, why I'm getting ready to forget, McCaffrey, McCaffrey, they fills the offense through McCaffrey
Starting point is 00:38:47 and then they run to open up the pass and it makes everything. everything so much easier because defense is the word about McCaffrey because he's a dual threat. Hell, if he's not running out the backfield, he isolated with the mismatch on your goddamn backer. What, um, when is the 49th is by a week? Have they had their by week yet? Have the head of it yet.
Starting point is 00:39:37 Caperti got to be coming back. purdy got to be coming back pretty soon but mac jones mac jones has done his job mac jones has done his job damn oh they got to be that got to be the ladies by whatever 49 is by is week 14 god damn that's that's said The Chargers beat the Titans by the score of 2720. Dayon Henley's older brother, Jabari, was shot and killed Friday night in Los Angeles on Halloween. Henley came through today with seven tackles.
Starting point is 00:40:34 His third sack of the season, a tackle for a loss and a QB hit. Henley said after the game, right now, I'm just floating. The only thing that's consistent right now in my life, and that is crazy to say is football. So for me, that's why I'm out here. That's why I'm out there because this is the most consistent thing that I've gotten my life right now is football, and I'm just trying to make the most of it.
Starting point is 00:40:55 Rest up, bro, we had him on the, we had him on, Ocho. Yeah. Talk about, you know, we understand, he understand his father and the path that he chose, and he told him, you know, his father said, I don't want to go there, and his father, you know, made sure he shielded him and protect him for that. Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:41:12 I don't know the situation, and I don't, I'm not going to even speculate. All I know is the man lost his brother tragically. And so I don't want to get, but I'm saying he understands that and he says man it's just like in the locker room he's like man I'm just he said I just fell to my knees man to be honest with you if I'm gonna be
Starting point is 00:41:29 if I'm gonna be all the way real with you guys man I can just imagine yeah imagine but he said he you know he found out Denzel Pererman knocked on his door and woke him up and told him he need to call he need to call home and I can just I can imagine the hurt and of what
Starting point is 00:41:48 what he felt in that moment and still he's still dealing with it Justin Herbert was 19 to 29 250, two touchdowns, one interception Tennessee sacked him six times or Ronde Gasson in the second five catches 68 yards
Starting point is 00:42:06 Lambackey four for 56 Quentin Johnson four 553 in a touchdown Keenan Allen had two for 41 but Justin Herbert was the lead in Russia with 57 yards on nine carries. Cam Ward 12 and 21, 1.45, no touchdown nor the session, was sacked four times. They didn't run the ball particularly well.
Starting point is 00:42:30 They didn't do anything particularly well today. And they were still in the ball game. Even though they didn't do anything really well offensively, Ocho. They still had chances in this ball game and give, if I'm not mistaken, I think the 49th, the 419. The charges stopped them on goal to go on two occasions. See how to see see see what I talk about see how hard it is this go? Huh?
Starting point is 00:42:58 What's it? Texas? Yeah, the Titans Yeah, so yeah, I guess the Titans office and the Bengals office that's that's that's Okay, I get you though whoa hold up I think what you put down come again who said that you said it you said it hard to score for the Titans they got a rookie quarterback I ain't okay but okay I get you what I'm picking up I'm picking up what you're saying that don't don't that's now that's disrespectful that's totally disrespectful I mean
Starting point is 00:43:29 we score on 40 points a game there's a difference but you're in the red zone and you didn't no I'm telling you I'm trying to help get you to better understand how difficulty is to score in the red zone it's very difficult when you don't score for far out when you got that kind of offense because there's only so much you can do when there's a small amount of field to work with, huh? Very, very, very small, very small. Uh, the Rams run roughshadow with the Saints, 34 to 10. Uh, Matthew Stafford was 2432, 281, four touchdowns, no interceptions, uh, no
Starting point is 00:44:12 turnovers, Kyron Williams, 25 rushes, 114 yards. They ran the ball 43 times for 171. yards. Pooka Nakua, seven catches, 95 yards, a touchdown. Duvante Adams, five catches, 60 yards, two touchdowns. Ferguson, two catches, 54 yards. Allen, three catches, 37 yards.
Starting point is 00:44:33 Tyler Higby had 13 and a touchdown. This is like, how many touchdowns Matthew Stafford got? Damn. He should be leading the league. If he's not leading a league, he should be top three in touchdowns. because I mean he had five touchdowns against Jacksonville he had four today
Starting point is 00:44:54 that's nine I know he had at least nine in the other games that he's played hmm but man the rail I mean the saints oh hey they didn't listen they didn't they didn't they didn't been Spencer Rattler for Tyler shook and you don't matter I have man you got 21 he leading the league who he tied with I think my homes had 21 total touchdowns coming in I don't think he had like 18 passes oh okay okay Ram's look good.
Starting point is 00:45:51 They can get after you with a, ooh, they can get after you with that defense. Verse and Young. Yeah, she they can get out. Listen, they can get out of your defense. You got Fisk. Man, Young got out the ball and they called it,
Starting point is 00:46:07 he had a sack, but he hit the quarterback right up with his chin. Yeah. Hey, that's hard, man. When the boy, if you're going full speed like that, coming on, coming on their edge, man. That's real hard. It is.
Starting point is 00:46:21 Nah, I can't land on you. I got to land to the side. I can't put my body weight down on you. That's crazy. You know what they should do? To be petty, defense ends and tackles that tackle the quarterback, she's just tacking them and just hold them. Just hold them up.
Starting point is 00:46:38 Just hold them just like child's place. Just shove them in the back, get whipped lying. Then they're going to say, you can't do that. They'll find a way to protect. take the quarterback but i get it i get it the game we love how much it has changed all right if we'll get you out here on this one don't yo your bingo oh just got scored on again damn hey listen make all the jokes you want now make all the jokes you won't now it's it's it's it's week nine and i'm gonna tell you again god don't make no mistakes
Starting point is 00:47:15 we're going to see who get the last laugh you're laughing you laughing about laughing at my bangles let me guess y'all going to the playoffs no i didn't i didn't say all that but y'all definitely won't be there we ain't going to the playoffs absolutely not okay absolutely hey no no your broncos or your ravens neither one of you so we all going to be in can't go ahead the division huh
Starting point is 00:47:42 raven's going to win the division you talk about division you talk about like a math problem hey oh you talk about a math problem we're going to beat the bingles again we're going to beat the bingles and the steelers and the browns and you know what your confidence i i wish i wish i had that kind of confidence i do i do i do i do All right, Ocho, we're going to get you out of here. It's time for our final segment of the evening. It's time for Q and A.
Starting point is 00:48:31 Aaron Owen says, I got cerebral palsy, and I can run for 100 yards on the Bengals defense, shaking my head. Sad, might as well trade Hendrickson. Damn. Hey, listen, the trade deadline is November 4. Tuesday. Tuesday, yeah. So you never know what might happen.
Starting point is 00:48:48 It's going to be some furniture moving, you know, in these next two days, man. We got 48 hours. Ocho, Jason Zeldor said, Ocho can't say foot or ball. He can't say any word with the letter D in it because the Bengals have no D. So he's not even allowed to say first. First down? That, but. Damn well
Starting point is 00:49:16 You can't say that NYL GND 38 Shanna the damn fool Sometime Ocho provoked me Oh man King
Starting point is 00:49:31 Rockich said Ocho's bingles are cooked like shrimp and grits Yeah it's old for y'all Ocho It's all good Everybody
Starting point is 00:49:40 everybody happy Everybody want to pail on us right now why not red hood said oh cho don't you ever say the bingles run the north y'all are comedy relief for the browns
Starting point is 00:49:51 the division has always been between the Steelers and the ravers go show some love to the only team that took you to a Super Bowl the Patriots you're a patriot I'm a bangle the Patriots didn't draft
Starting point is 00:50:05 no no you'll try to claim the guppies the patrons didn't draft me I'm from Miami did you play for the Patriots yes or no Not really. I ain't do nothing while I was there. Yeah, but you did.
Starting point is 00:50:17 You caught a touchdown. You caught a touchdown against the Broncos. That's only one. I remember it. That's only one. That's okay. You caught a touchdown. You was there.
Starting point is 00:50:24 I don't count. Yeah, it is. Go to your Wikipedia page and see if they got you in there playing for the Bengals. For the Patriots. Yeah, I know Patriots, right. No, exactly. Philly Talk with PA.
Starting point is 00:50:37 Packers and Alliance performance show why Eagles, Rams, Seahawks are the only team in discussion for the NFC. George Loves is a roller. Jordan Love is a roller coaster. If Jalen Hertz had the game he had today, he would be crucified. Well, obviously you talk about two totally, totally completely different offenses. Yes. Jaylon Hertz doesn't play or run the same type of style of offense that Jordan Love does.
Starting point is 00:51:03 So, I mean, I don't think he would ever have that kind of offense unless there's just no running back at all. You know, for the Philadelphia Eagles, they throw. the hell out the goddamn ball over there in Green Bay. So it's completely different. He doesn't put the ball in harm's way either. No. Frank Stadden's, say, Broncos
Starting point is 00:51:24 country, we ain't bad and we ain't cocky. We run old people like a carl was socket. Yeah, okay, okay. Y'all feel good, huh? Hey, no, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, that's unnecessary. I feel attacked. No, I'm not attacking you. I'm just asking you. I'm just
Starting point is 00:51:41 asking you, I'm saying you, your fans, And in Bronco Nation, y'all feel good, huh? Bronco Country. Oh, country nation, but I'm just saying, y'all feel good. Great. Oh. Bless me. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:52:02 Hey, that's funny. Yeah. Gold standards, your doer Sanders can play in the connection. Canadian Football League next year if he wants to start full time. Even if he plays this year, it would be a few games. Take what you can get. I do believe he's going to play though this year. I believe he's going to start.
Starting point is 00:52:28 Yeah. Tomorrow, 0-1, 2, 3, 4. So which team is high Mike McCarthy? Falcons, Bengals, Dolphins, Giants, Giants, Cubs, or a floor raiser, a multiple 12-win season in two different teams. So who's hiring Mike McCarthy? Falcons, Bengals, Dolphins, Giants, or cards? Now, listen, if there's going to be a change in Cincinnati,
Starting point is 00:53:02 you know who I want to come? Who? John Gruden. If, I'm not. just saying like i don't i don't i don't have i don't have any issues with zach taylor at all i just don't and i'm just speaking if change is to happen if they were to do something i would want someone like john gruden and they changed the defensive coordinator milo armore was the coordinator oh they said no it's you yeah they got a different coordinator
Starting point is 00:53:35 and guess what same results because they got the same players out there bingo i'm glad you just I'm glad you just said that. And you see how well-loose defense is playing in Indy? Yeah. Josiah Trong, Ocho, man, you dodging my help to be on your tech, man. Like you dodging up with the money. I'm persistent. I can be an intern, just need something on my resume.
Starting point is 00:54:02 Wait, where you, where you at? You told me the, uh, uh, uh, uh, the, uh, oh, X. Ain't, ain't, anybody sent me no. message. Brad Martinez with Dolphins and Bengals Ocho won't be able to say foot or ball all year long. Damn. That's all good.
Starting point is 00:54:24 I think I said it as I say it in Spanish. Uh, uh, don't listen. You keep telling him about them guppies and bungles. Yep. Guppies. He's, feed a fish. You got everybody on your side, too, huh?
Starting point is 00:54:43 Okay. Duce Placo, Stafford for MVP. Let's argue. It's hard to argue right now. He's absolutely in the discussion. I think Stafford's into discussion. I think Josh Allen's into discussion. Mahomes is in the discussion,
Starting point is 00:55:05 but I think he's lost too many games. He'd have to win out. Lamar would be in the discussion, I don't know if he's missed too many games. You know what I'm saying, Ocho? Yeah. Who else? Why you boy job and Justin Herbert's going to be in a discussion.
Starting point is 00:55:21 Oh, yeah. He's willing and dealing and dealing. Hey, don't look now. What about Drake, man? With that guy in the Pacific Northwest, Sam Darno. Oh, yes. Yeah. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:55:38 Dr. Frankie L. Bellamy, Ocho, Cowboy fans. been numb for almost 30 years, so don't feel bad. Yep, I'm counting on you to be numb again one more time, Doc, tomorrow night. Ted Nudge Ocho said the Bengals are good at drafting. Their first round pick has three tackles and nine games. Well, I was talking about from the offense, I was talking about offense, receivers. Have you noticed, we always have, we always have receivers consistently. Yeah, but you need somebody to protect those receivers.
Starting point is 00:56:11 you need somebody to get people on the ground. You see how consistently y'all don't have people to get people on the ground or go attack the quarterback? Yeah, that's always been a problem. I was talking about when I said drafting receivers, I was very specific. Oh. Okay.
Starting point is 00:56:25 Yeah. Horace 10. Well, my nine-year Buffalo Stampeders won their conference championship game tonight 3313. We're headed to regionals. We are now 10 and O. Boys love y'all responses. Appreciate that, man.
Starting point is 00:56:37 Congratulations to the Buffalo Stampeders. Good luck at regionals. Blonde coverage, Ocho. There's a bank local to Cincinnati that claims they protect your money like the Bengals protect the end zone. I'll never bank there. Your money ain't safe.
Starting point is 00:56:55 Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They open up the vote and let people just come on in there. Hey, y'all, y'all got the jokes at night, huh? Nah, no, Ocho. KT 93, up. If Ocho was on the Broncos team
Starting point is 00:57:10 where you're a different do you think you still win the Super Bowl and if you were on the Bengals team do you think uh no I ain't making no
Starting point is 00:57:19 hard with them suck but no there's a reason why only one Bengals is made the Hall of Fame that's Munoz so I put my own jacket on Sue
Starting point is 00:57:32 Munoz was what like an eight nine time first team all pro pro pro all those pro bowls 10 11 pro bowls 10 time all pro bowl 10 time all pro pro yeah that's all right and yeah i think he did that i don't think i think he tore
Starting point is 00:57:46 acel in college yeah munoz was the real deal boy yeah he was dion the goat what's up ogadocho been doing intermittent fasting for like a month have you ever tried it and uh what are some tips if any i'm doing 18 6 you he doing what means he's fasting for 18 hours is only eating six hours. Well, fasting. Intermeant fasting. So you only eat between a certain time. So let's just say for the sake of barbecue,
Starting point is 00:58:17 there's 24 hours in a day. So you take your last meal at 7 or 8. That means you won't eat again until 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 1. Yeah, so you wouldn't eat again until like 1 o'clock in the afternoon. I mean, I mean, listen, I mean no disrespect. I'm sure there's a valid reason why he's doing that. But why would someone want to do that? Well, I mean, the body, they said you're definitely going to lose weight.
Starting point is 00:58:49 You're only eating in a certain time frame. So you eat and you got that time frame to eat, get all your calories in. Right. And then the body, you know, rids itself. Okay. So I might try it. Let's try it, don't you? I have shit.
Starting point is 00:59:05 Nah, hell, no. I'm eating. I mean, I'm getting all my meals in, no matter what time a day it is. Jason said first Ocho is a bingo, then a dolphin, now he's a panther. Man, Ocho is a bandwagon fan. I mean, I'm a dolphin.
Starting point is 00:59:26 I mean, if you're a bingo fan, would you be rooting right now? Yeah. I wouldn't want nobody to know. Something you just take, you know, you take to your grade. We're going to be all right. All my, all, if I'm a bingo fan, all the stuff that's in my house,
Starting point is 00:59:42 the memorabilia, I'll take you down putting the drawer when they come over. You're going to take it down? Yeah, I want everybody to know that. I might try it. I might try that. What? That faster? Yep.
Starting point is 01:00:00 I think I could, I think I could probably do like 14, 16 hours. I need to eat somebody my size. I need to eat a little bit more than that. Six hours. they're going to be enough. Ain't enough. I can't get enough calories in that length of time. Right.
Starting point is 01:00:13 Yeah, I can't. I need at least eight hours. I mean, I can't do that right now with the way, the way I've grown, you know. Because if I eat every two and a half hours, that'll put me right at about seven and a half, eight hours. Yeah. So.
Starting point is 01:00:28 I got, listen, I got to feed the body. I can't, I can't do that. You know, I'm sure. You must be feeding the grass because you small as a mofo. Who's small? I'm 210 right now No You ain't never seen 210
Starting point is 01:00:41 Hey I'm sure you can see it You can see How I'm sitting I'm just everything is just I'm just sitting right I mean if you take that That cup off that microphone And put it on your head
Starting point is 01:00:54 I couldn't tell the difference Hey listen Hey put a hoodie on Put a nightcap hoodie on You should have put a nightcap hoodie on And go as a microphone All right. That would have been a good Halloween costume next year.
